Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Illegals Being Recruited to Vote, Black Voters Dumping Biden for Trump, & Sen Cruz goes After a Communist Judicial Nominee Week in Review
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is a verdict with Ted Cruz the Weekend Review,
- 0:04Speaker 2: Ben Ferguson with you, and these are the stories that
- 0:07Speaker 2: you may have missed that we talked about this week.
- 0:10Speaker 1: First up, illegal.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Immigrants in this country are actually being recruited to vote
- 0:15Speaker 2: in our elections. How are they getting recruited in the
- 0:19Speaker 2: same offices of our government? Will they come in to
- 0:22Speaker 2: get financial aid from our country as illegals. We're going
- 0:27Speaker 2: to break that down for you. Also, Joe Biden losing
- 0:31Speaker 2: the African American community at a record number, with new
- 0:35Speaker 2: poll numbers showing that black voters are moving to Trump
- 0:39Speaker 2: in a massive swing.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Why is this happening. We're going to break it down
- 0:43Speaker 1: for you.
- 0:44Speaker 2: And finally, Senator Cruz goes after one Biden judicial nominee.
- 0:50Speaker 2: You do not want to miss his cross examination. It's
- 0:54Speaker 2: the Weekend Review and it starts right now. There was
- 0:58Speaker 2: also new details that came out about how non citizens
- 1:02Speaker 2: are getting voter registration forms from across the US. Republicans
- 1:08Speaker 2: are trying to stop this. Democrats are saying no, and
- 1:12Speaker 2: just to break this down so people understand United States
- 1:17Speaker 2: welfare offices as well as other government agencies under the
- 1:21Speaker 2: Biden administration in forty nine different states in this country
- 1:27Speaker 2: are now providing voter registration forms to illegal immigrants without
- 1:35Speaker 2: requiring proof of citizenship. And Democrats this isn't a loophole,
- 1:41Speaker 2: they're exploiting it.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Yeah, that's exactly right. And I'll say the New York
- 1:46Speaker 3: Post had an important article on this on this past
- 1:51Speaker 3: weekend entitled how non citizens are getting voter registration forms
- 1:55Speaker 3: across the United States and how Republicans are trying to
- 1:58Speaker 3: stop it, and it describes how every state but Arizona,
- 2:03Speaker 3: and Arizona recently passed a law barring the practice on
- 2:06Speaker 3: state but not federal forms. Every other state gives applicants
- 2:10Speaker 3: for either welfare benefits, drivers' licenses, or in some cases
- 2:15Speaker 3: mail in ballots, gives them voter registration forms without demanding
- 2:20Speaker 3: proof of citizenship. And there's no requirement on federal forms
- 2:24Speaker 3: to provide proof of US citizenship, although it is illegal
- 2:28Speaker 3: to falsely claim one as a citizen or for a
- 2:30Speaker 3: non citizen to cast a ballot. But of course, if
- 2:33Speaker 3: you're not asking for proof of citizenship, I guess it's
- 2:36Speaker 3: just sort of wink wink, trust me, and we just
- 2:40Speaker 3: will take it on an honor system that you're not
- 2:42Speaker 3: going to do it.
- 2:43Speaker 2: It's also if you think about this, if you know
- 2:46Speaker 2: you're voting illegally, but you're voting for the people that
- 2:49Speaker 2: claim they're going to give you amnesty, and you already
- 2:52Speaker 2: broke into the United States of America, it's not a
- 2:55Speaker 2: far stretch center to think, of course, they're going to
- 2:57Speaker 2: sign up to vote because they're going to vote for
- 2:59Speaker 2: the party that's about to hand them amnesty.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Well, of course, and and that's the entire point. The
- 3:05Speaker 3: reason the Democrats are allowing and actively facilitating this invasion
- 3:11Speaker 3: is they want voters and and and they recognize that
- 3:14Speaker 3: illegal immigrants are very likely to vote Democrat. That that
- 3:17Speaker 3: if you're willing to break the law, if you're coming
- 3:18Speaker 3: here illegally, that that that that you're going to go
- 3:21Speaker 3: with the party that that is inviting you to break
- 3:23Speaker 3: the law and is coming showering you with with benefits
- 3:27Speaker 3: and looking the other way. And and and look, a
- 3:29Speaker 3: lot of the problem stems back from a law that
- 3:32Speaker 3: that that was passed in nineteen ninety three called the
- 3:34Speaker 3: National Voter Registration Act, and it was signed into law
- 3:37Speaker 3: by Bill Clinton. Was also called the Motor Voter Law,
- 3:41Speaker 3: and what it did is it ordered states to register
- 3:45Speaker 3: voters at the Department of Motor Vehicles and also at
- 3:50Speaker 3: agencies where Americans apply for public benefits, and those offices,
- 3:54Speaker 3: in turned, are required by federal law to hand the
- 3:57Speaker 3: registration forms along with the application papers over the federal government.
- 4:04Speaker 3: And if an applicant simply a test, if they say yep,
- 4:07Speaker 3: I'm a US citizen, that is considered valid on its face,
- 4:11Speaker 3: and that person is then registered to vote. And so
- 4:16Speaker 3: the challenge right now is that millions of illegal immigrants
- 4:21Speaker 3: with humanitarian parole or with refuge or asylum status are
- 4:26Speaker 3: eligible right now for benefits that brings them to the
- 4:30Speaker 3: offices where voter registration is taking place. So that's happening
- 4:33Speaker 3: right now. Millions of these illegal immigrants are going to
- 4:36Speaker 3: the offices where they're where the offices are handing them
- 4:39Speaker 3: voter registration forms. And I want to pause for a
- 4:42Speaker 3: second and reflect on how how the voter voter Law passed,
- 4:47Speaker 3: because it had in nineteen ninety two, it had passed Congress,
- 4:52Speaker 3: and George Herbert Walker Bush had vetoed it. But then
- 4:56Speaker 3: in nineteen ninety three, Look, elections have consequences, and when
- 4:59Speaker 3: buil Clinton got elected, it passed again. But I'll tell
- 5:03Speaker 3: you in the Senate the reason it passed in the Senate.
- 5:06Speaker 3: So every Democrat voted yes. So the Democrats get exactly
- 5:11Speaker 3: what they're doing. All of the Democrats voted yes. Not
- 5:13Speaker 3: a single Democrat voted no. But here's the problem. Six
- 5:18Speaker 3: Republicans voted yes as well. So the vote the Senate
- 5:22Speaker 3: was sixty two to thirty six. In other words, if
- 5:25Speaker 3: the Republicans had voted no, they could have killed it.
- 5:27Speaker 3: But just going through this, and I'm just looking down
- 5:31Speaker 3: the list of the Republicans, DOMENICI from New Mexico voted yes.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Durren Berger from Minnesota voted yes, Hatfield from Oregon voted yes, Packwood,
- 5:43Speaker 3: Oregon voted yes, Specter from Pennsylvania voted yes, and Jeffords
- 5:49Speaker 3: from Vermont voted yes. Now that's six Republicans. If just
- 5:53Speaker 3: three of them had voted no, this bill wouldn't pass.
- 5:56Speaker 3: And it's frustrating because the Democrats all get in line.
- 6:00Speaker 3: They get what they're doing, they get that they are
- 6:03Speaker 3: engaged in an effort to stay in power, and it's
- 6:06Speaker 3: not lost on them. Look, when the bill passed, it's
- 6:10Speaker 3: not an accident that they put voter registration in welfare offices. Hey,
- 6:14Speaker 3: if you want welfare, register to vote for the people
- 6:17Speaker 3: giving you welfare. But why are Republicans idiots? And they
- 6:22Speaker 3: go along with that? And the bill doesn't require proof
- 6:26Speaker 3: of citizenship. Why is that because Republican senators were idiots
- 6:30Speaker 3: enough to vote for it. Not to be clear, none
- 6:32Speaker 3: of those senators are still in the Senate. This was
- 6:35Speaker 3: a long time ago. This was nineteen ninety three. Look,
- 6:38Speaker 3: I was a year out of college. I was a
- 6:40Speaker 3: first year law student at the time. So those senators
- 6:43Speaker 3: are gone. But it's a pattern that has happened over
- 6:45Speaker 3: and over again, and it's frustrating.
- 6:49Speaker 2: So let's break this down because I think that's an
- 6:52Speaker 2: important point for people to end on. It is a fact,
- 6:56Speaker 2: and Democrats are really good center it counting. They know
- 7:02Speaker 2: how many millions of illegal immigrants are in this country
- 7:06Speaker 2: on humanitarian parole, as refugees, asylum status. They know how
- 7:12Speaker 2: many of them can go in and get different forms
- 7:17Speaker 2: of government aid, and they understand that then once you're
- 7:23Speaker 2: in the federal system, whether it's to get welfare benefits,
- 7:27Speaker 2: a driver's license, there's an instant pathway to go Hey,
- 7:32Speaker 2: here's your registered to vote paperwork. And these millions of
- 7:39Speaker 2: migrants that are walking in and out of government offices
- 7:42Speaker 2: are now open to that.
- 7:43Speaker 1: That's the reason why this is so dangerous.
- 7:45Speaker 2: This isn't just a one off for a couple people,
- 7:47Speaker 2: or as Democrats I to describe it within the you know,
- 7:50Speaker 2: an asterisk when you're counting votes. This could be catastrophic
- 7:55Speaker 2: to canceling out American voters with illegal immigrants, who were
- 7:59Speaker 2: literally saying, fill this out, turn it in and you
- 8:03Speaker 2: can vote, even though we know we're hand them to
- 8:05Speaker 2: legal immigrants.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Yeah, look, that's exactly right. And the Democrats are the
- 8:09Speaker 3: party of government. They've always been the party of government.
- 8:12Speaker 3: That the party of big government. They're party of high taxes,
- 8:14Speaker 3: they're the party of job killing regulations, and they want
- 8:19Speaker 3: they want to make people dependent on government. They're the
- 8:22Speaker 3: party of dependency. They trap people, They trap people tragically
- 8:26Speaker 3: in generations of dependency and the price that they extract it.
- 8:31Speaker 3: It's a little bit like a drug dealer going and
- 8:33Speaker 3: praying on kids in a junior high. They're like, hey,
- 8:36Speaker 3: just try this a little, Just try it a little,
- 8:38Speaker 3: just get a free sample, just try a little, and
- 8:40Speaker 3: the price if they want to keep getting their their
- 8:42Speaker 3: their fix of what the the drug dealing Democrats are providing.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Their price is just make sure you vote for Democrats.
- 8:49Speaker 3: That that's that's your your ticket to admission.
- 8:52Speaker 4: Now.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Look in the House.
- 8:54Speaker 3: The House is taking up a bill called the Safeguard
- 8:56Speaker 3: American Voter Eligibility Act the SAVE Act, which the House
- 9:00Speaker 3: Administration Committee last month passed. And this bill requires states
- 9:07Speaker 3: to receive proof of citizenship whenever anyone registers to vote
- 9:12Speaker 3: by mail or at a DMV office or at a
- 9:15Speaker 3: welfare agency office. And here's what Mike Johnson, the Speaker
- 9:19Speaker 3: of the House said following the approval of the bill.
- 9:23Speaker 3: He said, quote, as President Biden has welcomed millions of
- 9:26Speaker 3: illegal immigrants through our borders, including sophisticated criminal syndicates and
- 9:30Speaker 3: foreign adversaries. It is incumbent upon Congress to implement greater
- 9:34Speaker 3: enforcement measures that secure the voter registration process and ensure
- 9:38Speaker 3: only American citizens decide the outcome of American elections. And yet, astonishingly,
- 9:45Speaker 3: the Democrats are fighting this. So for example, there's a
- 9:50Speaker 3: left leaning operation called the Campaign Legal Center that has
- 9:53Speaker 3: said that the SAVE Act is quote a shameful measure
- 9:57Speaker 3: that will undermine trust in the electoral process. And they
- 10:02Speaker 3: just they dismiss concerns about non citizen voting by saying
- 10:05Speaker 3: it hasn't taken place at any meaningful level. Quote, it
- 10:09Speaker 3: is a fabrication being peddled for personal and political gain
- 10:13Speaker 3: by leaders who should know better. Shameful bills like the
- 10:17Speaker 3: Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act often result in eligible US
- 10:22Speaker 3: citizens being incorrectly prevented from voting or being forced to
- 10:26Speaker 3: jump through additional hoops to exercise their freedom to vote.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Campaign Legal Center opposes this bill, but and you know what,
- 10:34Speaker 3: the Democrats are very happy to salute and follow follow
- 10:40Speaker 3: the line. Right now, at least nineteen states plus Washington
- 10:44Speaker 3: DC allow non citizens to obtain driver's licenses, So in
- 10:49Speaker 3: nearly half the states, you don't have to be a
- 10:50Speaker 3: citizen to get a driver's license. And that is something
- 10:53Speaker 3: that Biden supported during his presidential campaign. By the way,
- 10:57Speaker 3: Biden was one of the Democrats who voted for motor voter,
- 11:01Speaker 3: so he is just implementing the plan now from the
- 11:04Speaker 3: executive side instead of the legislative side. And tragically, this
- 11:10Speaker 3: pattern of amnesty and voting answers the question that I
- 11:14Speaker 3: asked at the beginning of this pod. Why are Democrats
- 11:17Speaker 3: willing to look the other way? Why don't they care
- 11:20Speaker 3: about the people being killed? Why don't they care about
- 11:23Speaker 3: the women being raped? Why don't they care about the
- 11:25Speaker 3: children being assaulted? And it's because they've made a very
- 11:28Speaker 3: cynical decision that staying in power is worth it, and
- 11:33Speaker 3: if innocent people have to die, I guess that's a
- 11:36Speaker 3: price they're willing to pay.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Now, if you want to hear the rest of this conversation,
- 11:40Speaker 2: you can go back and listen to the full podcast
- 11:43Speaker 2: from earlier this week.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Now onto story number two.
- 11:47Speaker 2: I want to also get to another story, and this
- 11:50Speaker 2: one actually makes me laugh. CNN And rarely do I
- 11:55Speaker 2: get to say this has been left speechless senator.
- 11:59Speaker 1: After pulling, you just say that again, Yeah, right, CNN
- 12:03Speaker 1: left speechless exactly.
- 12:06Speaker 2: After polling findes Donald Trump headed for quote unquote his
- 12:10Speaker 2: historic performance with black voters.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Now, there's two parts of.
- 12:14Speaker 2: This that that are that we should just bring up
- 12:16Speaker 2: at the very beginning. One, it is amazing that no
- 12:20Speaker 2: one's calling out just the straight up racism aspect of
- 12:23Speaker 2: this that the Democratic Party and the media just assumes
- 12:26Speaker 2: that if you're black, you must support the Democratic Party,
- 12:29Speaker 2: and if you don't, then you're basically, in their mind,
- 12:32Speaker 2: not a real black person. You're not you're you're not
- 12:35Speaker 2: a real black woman. You're not a real black mother, right,
- 12:38Speaker 2: you're you're not a real black father. No, No, you're
- 12:40Speaker 2: you're you're an uncle Tom. You can't leave the Democratic
- 12:45Speaker 2: plantation to think for yourself because you must be a Democrat,
- 12:49Speaker 2: a modern day slave in essence of the Democratic Party.
- 12:53Speaker 2: And now they can't believe that Donald Trump is headed
- 12:56Speaker 2: for literally historic performance with African American voters. We don't
- 13:01Speaker 2: like this what's happening under the Biden administration, and Biden's
- 13:04Speaker 2: support from black voters under the age of fifty has
- 13:09Speaker 2: cratered over the last four years.
- 13:11Speaker 1: And they don't know what to do with this.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Now, look that that is exactly right. They are shocked
- 13:17Speaker 3: that that they come in with an assumption that anyone
- 13:21Speaker 3: who is African American must support the Democrats, as Joe
- 13:25Speaker 3: Biden famously or infamously said, if you're not supporting me,
- 13:30Speaker 3: you ain't black, which which is just an arrogance that
- 13:34Speaker 3: that that I think suffuses suffuses the current Democrat Party
- 13:39Speaker 3: and and and it's worth well, I'll tell you what.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Just listen to CNN as they're discussing these polling numbers.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Senior data reporter Harry is with us.
- 13:49Speaker 5: So where does the race stand among African American voters
- 13:52Speaker 5: right now?
- 13:53Speaker 6: I keep looking for this to change, to go back
- 13:56Speaker 6: to a historical norm, and it simply put has not yet.
- 13:59Speaker 1: So this is the.
- 14:00Speaker 6: Margin or Biden Trump among black voters. Compare where we
- 14:03Speaker 6: were at this point in twenty twenty. Compare where we
- 14:05Speaker 6: are now. You know, at this point, look at this.
- 14:07Speaker 6: In twenty twenty, Joe Biden was getting eighty six percent
- 14:09Speaker 6: of the African American vote. Look at where it is now.
- 14:13Speaker 6: It's seventy percent. That's a sixteen point drop, John. And
- 14:18Speaker 6: more than that, it's not just that Joe Biden is
- 14:21Speaker 6: losing ground, it's that Donald Trump is gaining ground.
- 14:24Speaker 1: You go from seven percent.
- 14:25Speaker 6: Single digits at this point in twenty twenty.
- 14:27Speaker 4: To now twenty one percent.
- 14:30Speaker 6: And again, John, I keep looking for signs that this
- 14:33Speaker 6: is going to go back to normal, and I don't
- 14:35Speaker 6: see it yet in the polling of anything.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Right now, we're careening.
- 14:38Speaker 6: Towards a historic performance for Republican presidential candidate, the likes
- 14:42Speaker 6: of which we have not seen in six decades.
- 14:45Speaker 1: And when you dig into this, I love this.
- 14:47Speaker 2: By the way, they're basically saying, we need to go
- 14:50Speaker 2: back to normal, and you guys need to get back
- 14:52Speaker 2: on the Democratic plantation.
- 14:53Speaker 1: They're saying that on TV.
- 14:56Speaker 3: Yeah, look, it is not subtle. Who's CNN and is
- 15:00Speaker 3: rooting for. They want Joe Biden to win, they want
- 15:02Speaker 3: the Democrats to win. And and they're they're they're shocked,
- 15:06Speaker 3: and and they're terrified, and they are freaking out and
- 15:10Speaker 3: and and listen. I think this is an incredibly important shift.
- 15:14Speaker 3: I think we're seeing African American voters moving moving towards Republicans.
- 15:18Speaker 3: I think we're seeing Hispanic voters moving towards Republicans even faster.
- 15:21Speaker 3: And I think that is it's part of the broader
- 15:24Speaker 3: demographic shift. We're seeing a blue collar voters that are
- 15:27Speaker 3: moving towards Republicans. We're seeing the old conventional wisdom was
- 15:32Speaker 3: that that Republicans were the party of the rich and
- 15:35Speaker 3: Democrats were the party of the poor and working class.
- 15:37Speaker 3: I'm not sure that was ever true, but it is
- 15:40Speaker 3: especially not true now it has been turned on its head. Today,
- 15:44Speaker 3: Democrats are the party of rich coastal elites. They're the
- 15:47Speaker 3: party of big tech billionaires and and and Hollywood moguls
- 15:51Speaker 3: and California environmentalist billionaires. And I think Republicans, we're the
- 15:56Speaker 3: party of truck drivers and steel workers and cops and
- 15:58Speaker 3: firefighters and waiters and waits and everyone who works for
- 16:02Speaker 3: a living and has callouses on their hands. And I
- 16:05Speaker 3: think also, so there's an overlap. Listen, if you're right now.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Let's say you're an Hispanic guy in South Texas and
- 16:13Speaker 3: you work in the oil fields, and you drive a
- 16:16Speaker 3: pickup truck and you go bird hunting on the weekends.
- 16:20Speaker 4: You're voting Republican.
- 16:22Speaker 3: Number one, you're seeing the invasion on our southern border
- 16:25Speaker 3: the Democrats have caused. But number two, the Democrats have
- 16:28Speaker 3: declared war on your livelihood and way of life. And
- 16:31Speaker 3: so we're seeing Hispanics moving Republicans significantly. But African Americans
- 16:35Speaker 3: we're seeing movement as well, not as rapidly. But listen,
- 16:41Speaker 3: the simple reality. And I'm going to give Donald Trump credit.
- 16:44Speaker 3: He went to Detroit, he went to an African American church.
- 16:46Speaker 3: He made the case. He said, listen for the black community.
- 16:50Speaker 3: Your lives have gotten a lot worse under Joe Biden
- 16:53Speaker 3: the Democrats, between inflation, between crime, you look at what
- 16:57Speaker 3: has happened. And he made the point illegal immigration. Who
- 17:00Speaker 3: do you think eleven million illegal immigrants are taking jobs
- 17:03Speaker 3: from They're not taking jobs. Jake Tapper is not losing
- 17:07Speaker 3: his job to an illegal immigrant. It's actually a point
- 17:10Speaker 3: remember I made in twenty sixteen in the presidential where
- 17:16Speaker 3: I said, if you suddenly had crossing the border a
- 17:22Speaker 3: bunch of lawyers and bankers and journalists coming here to
- 17:26Speaker 3: take the job of rich professionals in the media, then
- 17:32Speaker 3: you would have a crisis. Then they would lose their mind.
- 17:34Speaker 3: But their view is no, no, no, that's fine to bring
- 17:36Speaker 3: eleven million people in who take the job of low
- 17:40Speaker 3: income workers, who take the job of the working class,
- 17:42Speaker 3: who take the job of a lot of legal immigrants
- 17:45Speaker 3: in the Hispanic community, who take the jobs of African
- 17:48Speaker 3: Americans and drive down their wages. And I think you're
- 17:52Speaker 3: seeing a lot of voters. I mean, the numbers among
- 17:56Speaker 3: African American voters have more than doubled. And that's got
- 17:59Speaker 3: Democrat that's really freaked out.
- 18:01Speaker 2: But this goes back to a podcast that we did
- 18:03Speaker 2: with actually your Congressman Wesley Hunt, Yeah, where he was
- 18:06Speaker 2: on this show, and I would encourage people to go
- 18:08Speaker 2: back and listen to it. But he discussed that the
- 18:11Speaker 2: bigotry of low expectations that the Democrats put on African Americans.
- 18:15Speaker 2: And he says, he said at the time, and I'm
- 18:17Speaker 2: going back to this quote because I wrote it down,
- 18:19Speaker 2: it's to create victims.
- 18:22Speaker 1: And he was.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Talking about how the Democratic Party has really victimized the
- 18:27Speaker 2: African American community was with low expectations, high crime, high poverty,
- 18:33Speaker 2: and basically the government getting you addicted to poverty.
- 18:38Speaker 1: And I encourage you to go back and listen to it.
- 18:39Speaker 2: But that seems to be the case in essence that
- 18:42Speaker 2: Donald Trump is now making. And Fox, by the way,
- 18:45Speaker 2: when these new poll numbers came out, I want you
- 18:47Speaker 2: to hear how they explained it.
- 18:49Speaker 5: Listen, all has Biden down nearly thirty percent among black
- 18:53Speaker 5: voters since the twenty twenty election. What's changed? Look at
- 18:56Speaker 5: the economy. The optimal color is not black. Around you
- 19:00Speaker 5: hear me say that almost every day, Trump has gained
- 19:03Speaker 5: fifteen points in that time. Congressman James Cliburne of South Carolina,
- 19:07Speaker 5: downplaying the numbers here. He says, I don't think black
- 19:09Speaker 5: voters have left the fold. I don't know what is
- 19:12Speaker 5: going on with the polling taking place here. How can
- 19:15Speaker 5: the polls get that so wrong? That's going on all
- 19:18Speaker 5: over the country. Well, not everybody sees it that way.
- 19:22Speaker 5: Political reports prominent Black Democrats are setting off alarm bells
- 19:26Speaker 5: over Biden's black voter problems.
- 19:29Speaker 2: I mean the arrogance there, just Cliburn who's saying, I
- 19:33Speaker 2: don't believe this.
- 19:34Speaker 1: I don't see it.
- 19:35Speaker 2: I don't think this is actually happening right as he said,
- 19:38Speaker 2: that's not going on all over the country. How can
- 19:41Speaker 2: the polls get that so wrong? It's it's it's again.
- 19:45Speaker 2: I go back to this idea and what Wesley Hunt
- 19:47Speaker 2: said on the show. The Democratic Party believes they own
- 19:50Speaker 2: the black community and you cannot leave.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Well, listen, I would encourage listeners go back, as you
- 19:57Speaker 3: just said, Ben, listen to the podcast we do with
- 20:00Speaker 3: Wesley Hunt. And actually that was one of the video
- 20:02Speaker 3: ones we did, so you can watch it on YouTube,
- 20:04Speaker 3: but also go back and listen or watch the podcast
- 20:07Speaker 3: we did with Eric Johnson, the mayor of Mayor of Dallas,
- 20:10Speaker 3: who's African American and he was elected as a Democrat
- 20:13Speaker 3: mayor of Dallas. He's now become a Republican. Both of
- 20:16Speaker 3: both with Wesley Hunt and Eric Johnson, both of them
- 20:18Speaker 3: are are are friends of mine. We have a real
- 20:21Speaker 3: discussion about how the Democrat agenda has utterly failed the
- 20:25Speaker 3: African American community and the approach of Democrats is not
- 20:29Speaker 3: to provide real policy solutions, but it's instead demagogue. Remember
- 20:34Speaker 3: Joe Biden went I think it was in front of
- 20:36Speaker 3: the NAACP IF I remember correctly where he said they're
- 20:38Speaker 3: going to put y'all back in chains, which is ridiculous.
- 20:42Speaker 3: And by the way, if you want to talk about
- 20:44Speaker 3: about who enslaved African Americans, the answer to that was Democrats.
- 20:48Speaker 3: It was Democrats who were the party of slavery. It
- 20:51Speaker 3: was Democrats who founded the Ku Klux Klan, it was
- 20:53Speaker 3: Democrats who wrote the Jim Crow Laws. And by the way,
- 20:56Speaker 3: you're on my party. The Republican Party was founded to
- 21:00Speaker 3: end slavery. That's why our party was founded. The first
- 21:03Speaker 3: Republican president was Abraham Lincoln. The Democrats record on race
- 21:08Speaker 3: issues have been horrible, and yet they demagogue and scare people.
- 21:13Speaker 3: And I do think you're seeing African American voters saying,
- 21:16Speaker 3: all right, enough, already produce results. And by the way,
- 21:20Speaker 3: I'll give you three issues that I think resonate powerfully
- 21:24Speaker 3: in the black community. Number one, inflation in the economy,
- 21:27Speaker 3: and African Americans are getting hammered by that. Number two,
- 21:31Speaker 3: safety and the combination of the invasion at our southern border,
- 21:35Speaker 3: which is endangering African Americans and all Americans. But also
- 21:41Speaker 3: the Democrats undermining the police, undermining pushing for defunding the police,
- 21:46Speaker 3: for abolishing the police. That has resulted in a lot
- 21:49Speaker 3: more African Americans being murdered. And the Democrats like to
- 21:52Speaker 3: say black lives matter, well, their radical policies result in
- 21:56Speaker 3: more African Americans being victims of murder. Three is school choice.
- 22:02Speaker 3: And as you know, school choice is the issue. I
- 22:04Speaker 3: think it is the most important domestic issue in the country.
- 22:07Speaker 3: It is the civil rights issue of the twenty first century.
- 22:10Speaker 3: And today's Democrats are the modern day bull Connor. They
- 22:15Speaker 3: are standing at the school door saying we will not
- 22:19Speaker 3: let low income students out. I believe every child in
- 22:22Speaker 3: Texas and every child in America should have a right
- 22:25Speaker 3: to access excellent education. And it ought to be about education, freedom,
- 22:29Speaker 3: The student and your parents should decide, not bureaucrats who
- 22:34Speaker 3: want to keep kids trapped.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Finally, just to expand on this, it's not just African
- 22:38Speaker 2: American voters that Biden has lost touch with. There is
- 22:43Speaker 2: now new data with Hispanic voters. For example, another policy
- 22:47Speaker 2: that Trump has doubled down on, mass deportations is now
- 22:51Speaker 2: popular in this country. The majority of registered voters favor
- 22:55Speaker 2: a new national program to deport all undocumented immigrants currently
- 23:00Speaker 2: living in the US legally by sixty two to thirty
- 23:03Speaker 2: eight percent. That is massive. But here's you break that
- 23:06Speaker 2: number down. Now, a majority of Hispanic center favor mass
- 23:12Speaker 2: deportations in America as well, fifty three to forty seven.
- 23:16Speaker 2: And this is another blow to Joe Biden with quote
- 23:19Speaker 2: minority voters.
- 23:21Speaker 3: Well, that's right, and it is the fruits of the
- 23:26Speaker 3: failures of Democrat open border policies that are people are
- 23:29Speaker 3: seeing the absolute disaster of it. And I'll tell you
- 23:32Speaker 3: years ago, I was doing a national interview with hore
- 23:36Speaker 3: ramosre Ramos what was of of course, it is the
- 23:42Speaker 3: national journalist, and he accused me of being and I'm
- 23:48Speaker 3: going to quote him a traitor to my race because
- 23:53Speaker 3: I believe in securing the border, and his view was,
- 23:57Speaker 3: as an Hispanic, I'm not allowed to support secure into
- 24:00Speaker 3: the border. He practically yelled on me on national television
- 24:03Speaker 3: that I'm a trader at my race. And I asked him,
- 24:05Speaker 3: I said, tell me, what would happen if I went
- 24:09Speaker 3: illegally to Mexico?
- 24:10Speaker 1: What would they do?
- 24:11Speaker 3: And he said, oh, they deport you. And it's like, well, okay,
- 24:15Speaker 3: if Mexico is allowed to enforce its laws, why is America?
- 24:20Speaker 3: Why are our laws less consequential? And you know it
- 24:24Speaker 3: almost chairs the national news program on Univision.
- 24:29Speaker 4: And yet the.
- 24:31Speaker 3: View that he characterizes as a trader to your race
- 24:35Speaker 3: is now, as you noted, according to polling number, the
- 24:37Speaker 3: view of the majority of Hispanics in America as before.
- 24:42Speaker 2: If you want to hear the rest of this conversation
- 24:44Speaker 2: on this topic, you can go back and dow the
- 24:46Speaker 2: podcasts from earlier this week to hear the entire thing.
- 24:50Speaker 2: I want to get back to the big story number
- 24:52Speaker 2: three of the week you may have missed. I want
- 24:55Speaker 2: to move to something else and we get to cover
- 24:57Speaker 2: this on this podcast. And I think it's so important
- 24:59Speaker 2: in that that is your interaction specifically with biden judicial nominees.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Biden has nominated a judge with ties to communists. You
- 25:11Speaker 2: had a chance to have a conversation with this nominee,
- 25:14Speaker 2: Carla Campbell, for uh, literally, she worked openly with a
- 25:19Speaker 2: Marxist organization.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Read us into this insanity.
- 25:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:23Speaker 3: Look, we had this morning a judicial confirmation hearing with
- 25:27Speaker 3: actually two Court of Appeals nominees, one of the First
- 25:30Speaker 3: Circuit Court of Appeals, one to the six Circuit Court
- 25:32Speaker 3: of Appeals. They're both terrible nominees. The one of the
- 25:34Speaker 3: First Circuit Court of Appeals is a judge in Maine
- 25:37Speaker 3: who repeatedly has given incredibly soft and lenient sentences to
- 25:43Speaker 3: vicious criminals. There was one guy who was a child
- 25:45Speaker 3: molester who molested two little girls, one five years old,
- 25:49Speaker 3: one nine years old. This judge sentenced him to just
- 25:52Speaker 3: six years and described from the bench she said, I
- 25:55Speaker 3: can see so much good in you. You're such a
- 25:57Speaker 3: good person. This is to the child molester repeatedly molesting
- 26:01Speaker 3: a five year old nine year old girl. There was
- 26:03Speaker 3: another woman, a mom whose one year old baby died
- 26:07Speaker 3: of fentanyl poisoning. Now she was a drug dealer. She
- 26:10Speaker 3: had drug dealing all throughout her apartment. This one year
- 26:14Speaker 3: old child massively overdosed of fentanyl. When he was found,
- 26:19Speaker 3: his pajamas were coated in fentanyl. The sheets that he
- 26:23Speaker 3: was lying on were coded and fentanyl. They had fentanyl everywhere.
- 26:26Speaker 3: He had enough fentanyl in his system to kill four
- 26:29Speaker 3: adults one year old. She could have sentenced this mother
- 26:34Speaker 3: to thirty years in jail for murdering her child with fentanyl.
- 26:39Speaker 3: She sentenced the child to four years. This is a
- 26:42Speaker 3: terrible nominee, but you know what, most of the hearings
- 26:46Speaker 3: she got very few questions. You know why because the
- 26:49Speaker 3: other nominee was even worse. The other nominee has been
- 26:52Speaker 3: actively supporting radicals and literally communists. She has been a
- 26:58Speaker 3: volunteer support warding a communist group that is openly calling
- 27:03Speaker 3: for a worker's revolution to overthrow capitalism. She's done that
- 27:07Speaker 3: for years. She also supported a radical left wing candidate
- 27:12Speaker 3: for Congress. Just give a listen because I questioned her
- 27:17Speaker 3: vigorously and she would not answer a damn thing about
- 27:21Speaker 3: her own record.
- 27:22Speaker 4: Miss Campbell.
- 27:23Speaker 3: I will say I have seen some astonishing nominees from
- 27:27Speaker 3: this administration, but I have to admit your record takes
- 27:29Speaker 3: the Cake, a judge should not be a political activist.
- 27:34Speaker 3: Your record demonstrates to me a long history of being
- 27:38Speaker 3: a political activist, but not just an activist, an activist
- 27:41Speaker 3: who affiliates with extreme and radical organizations.
- 27:45Speaker 4: Now, when Senator.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Grassley asked you about the Workers Dignity Organization, you gave
- 27:54Speaker 3: I think deliberately misleading answer. You said you did not
- 27:57Speaker 3: represent them, and that convinced Senator Grassley not to continue
- 28:00Speaker 3: on that line of questioning. You have been a legal
- 28:04Speaker 3: advisor to that organization since twenty thirteen. That is what
- 28:08Speaker 3: you have publicly printed on your AVO biography. It is
- 28:14Speaker 3: what has been described in the Tennessee Bar Association when
- 28:17Speaker 3: you were nominated that explicitly says she served as a
- 28:20Speaker 3: legal advisor for local workers' rights nonprofit Workers Dignity. Now,
- 28:24Speaker 3: why is it your distancings hereself from them? The reason
- 28:27Speaker 3: is because they are utterly radical. If you look at
- 28:30Speaker 3: this group that you've served as the legal advisor for
- 28:34Speaker 3: for over a decade, this is an openly Marxist organization.
- 28:39Speaker 3: This is a communist organization. Now that those words are
- 28:42Speaker 3: not said lightly according to their own characterization of their views,
- 28:47Speaker 3: this group says there's no election outcome that improves conditions
- 28:51Speaker 3: for workers. The laws of this country have never worked
- 28:53Speaker 3: for our people, and now that the system is crumbling,
- 28:55Speaker 3: we will continue to stand in community and solidarity with
- 28:58Speaker 3: each other. The only way we win in a world
- 29:01Speaker 3: we deserve is by building a multi racial working class
- 29:04Speaker 3: revolution that can push out white nationalism, violent state racism,
- 29:09Speaker 3: then the capitalist class that is desperately clutching to hold
- 29:13Speaker 3: control and profits as the people rise up. Why have
- 29:16Speaker 3: you spent a decade as a legal advisor to an
- 29:18Speaker 3: openly communist and Marxist organization?
- 29:21Speaker 7: If I could briefly clarify, more than a decade ago,
- 29:26Speaker 7: probably for the course of two or three years, I
- 29:29Speaker 7: served on an advisory board that helped this at the
- 29:33Speaker 7: time was supposed to be a nonprofit workers' rights organization
- 29:37Speaker 7: get set up and get started.
- 29:39Speaker 4: Did you know they were a communist organization?
- 29:41Speaker 7: Senator at that time? None. They did not express these
- 29:45Speaker 7: kinds of views. It was an organization, So this is new.
- 29:48Speaker 4: This wasn't the case then.
- 29:49Speaker 7: Yes, and I have not been affiliated with them in
- 29:53Speaker 7: more than a decade.
- 29:54Speaker 3: You're aware that your current profile that you have up
- 29:56Speaker 3: your legal bio says you are right now an advisor
- 29:59Speaker 3: to them.
- 30:00Speaker 7: I apologize for any confusion about that, as though were.
- 30:02Speaker 4: Your testimony under oath, And that's all right.
- 30:04Speaker 3: The facts will come out, but your testimony on it,
- 30:06Speaker 3: I want to make it explicit. Your testimony under oath
- 30:09Speaker 3: is that you have done absolutely nothing and had zero
- 30:12Speaker 3: contact with them for how long?
- 30:14Speaker 7: I have not served on their advisory boards.
- 30:16Speaker 3: You've done absolutely nothing and had zero contact with them
- 30:19Speaker 3: for how long?
- 30:20Speaker 4: Please answer the question?
- 30:21Speaker 3: Many?
- 30:21Speaker 7: Many years?
- 30:22Speaker 4: How many?
- 30:23Speaker 7: I don't know sitting here today, it's been If.
- 30:26Speaker 3: You look at other statements from this organization, because they
- 30:28Speaker 3: are radicals, they are radicals. If you look also, this
- 30:32Speaker 3: is the same group in twenty twenty they called for
- 30:35Speaker 3: abolishing ice, abolishing prisons and detention centers, and abolishing the police.
- 30:40Speaker 3: Why did you volunteer for a communist organization that calls
- 30:43Speaker 3: for abolishing ice and abolishing the police?
- 30:46Speaker 7: Senator, I have never seen these comments before.
- 30:49Speaker 4: You didn't know who you were volunteering for.
- 30:51Speaker 7: I was not a volunteer for them.
- 30:53Speaker 4: You are a legal advisor? Were you paid?
- 30:54Speaker 3: No? I was, then you were a volunteer. If you
- 30:57Speaker 3: volunteer to be a legal advisor, you were a volunteer.
- 30:59Speaker 3: Why did you volunteer? Do you support abolishing ice?
- 31:02Speaker 7: Senator? At this time I had to.
- 31:04Speaker 4: Support abolishing I do not, Senator.
- 31:06Speaker 3: Well, it's amazing because a minute ago you also told
- 31:09Speaker 3: Senator Graham that the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition
- 31:13Speaker 3: that has a manifesto calling for abolishing ICE, you said
- 31:16Speaker 3: you had nothing to do with it, which is fairly
- 31:19Speaker 3: astonishing because on page three of their manifesto they thank
- 31:23Speaker 3: you by name for.
- 31:25Speaker 4: What they say.
- 31:26Speaker 3: We would like to thank the following individuals and organizations
- 31:29Speaker 3: for their thoughtful feedback and input. This platform would not
- 31:32Speaker 3: have been possible without their expertise.
- 31:34Speaker 7: Are they lying, Senator? I'm not familiar with that manifesto?
- 31:39Speaker 4: Are they lying?
- 31:41Speaker 3: Did you provide any assistance? Did you give feedback an input?
- 31:46Speaker 3: Which is what they say on the cover page?
- 31:48Speaker 7: Senator, I didn't even know that existed, and so no,
- 31:51Speaker 7: I did not provide input on it.
- 31:53Speaker 3: And why you know when Senator Graham asked why you
- 31:55Speaker 3: gave money to this radical candidate who has said fifty
- 31:59Speaker 3: two senators are Jim Crow senators and said multiple of
- 32:04Speaker 3: us are siding with the devil, you laughed and thought
- 32:07Speaker 3: that was funny, but Senator Graham asked you a question. Look,
- 32:10Speaker 3: that candidate was as radical as I've ever seen. And
- 32:14Speaker 3: when Senator Graham asked why you gave money to that candidate,
- 32:16Speaker 3: you just smiled and didn't answer. So, why did you
- 32:18Speaker 3: give money to a radical candidate who believes multiple members
- 32:22Speaker 3: of the Senate are siding with the devil?
- 32:25Speaker 4: Senator Actually, Senator.
- 32:27Speaker 3: White House, you weren't here before an exchange with the
- 32:30Speaker 3: chairman where Senator Kennedy asked for longer periods because you
- 32:32Speaker 3: have two circuit justices, and the Chairman said he was
- 32:35Speaker 3: going to give additional time. So the comment they want
- 32:37Speaker 3: to be gabbled it's part of the show, is not accurate.
- 32:40Speaker 3: And Senator Welch said he was going to give additional time.
- 32:43Speaker 3: In fact, he said at the beginning was going to
- 32:44Speaker 3: give six minutes. So my question you did not answer,
- 32:47Speaker 3: Senator Graham, Chairman, how much time?
- 32:50Speaker 7: How much time is expired?
- 32:51Speaker 1: I just want to clarify, I just walked in this.
- 32:52Speaker 4: Why did you give money six minutes? Because it seems
- 32:54Speaker 4: like more than six is past.
- 32:57Speaker 3: Why did you give money to this to this radical
- 33:00Speaker 3: put up the double one too? Why did you give
- 33:03Speaker 3: money to this radical candidate fifteen hundred dollars a lot
- 33:05Speaker 3: of money.
- 33:07Speaker 7: That's a question, Senator. Again, I'm not familiar with these comments.
- 33:10Speaker 3: Why did you give money to this radical candidate? Could
- 33:15Speaker 3: you let her answer the question?
- 33:16Speaker 7: Please, I'm not familiar with these comments.
- 33:18Speaker 3: And I why did you give money to her? That's
- 33:21Speaker 3: the question you're not going to answer. You're refusing to
- 33:25Speaker 3: answer why you gave money to her?
- 33:26Speaker 7: Senator, I'm not familiar with.
- 33:28Speaker 4: These That's not an answer.
- 33:29Speaker 3: My answer is why did you What is the affirmative
- 33:32Speaker 3: reason you gave fifteen hundred dollars? There was something you
- 33:35Speaker 3: saw in her that you said, this needs fifteen hundred dollars.
- 33:38Speaker 4: Why please answer that question? Time is expired.
- 33:41Speaker 3: Would you please ask the witness to answer the question.
- 33:44Speaker 3: She's refusing to answer it. It's indefensible, But answer, was
- 33:47Speaker 3: there any reason? Or you just give fifteen hundred dollars
- 33:50Speaker 3: to anyone?
- 33:50Speaker 4: Senator?
- 33:52Speaker 3: Your time has expired. I would like her to answer
- 33:53Speaker 3: the question. And you said she could answer the question.
- 33:56Speaker 3: She has refused to do so multiple times. Please answer
- 33:58Speaker 3: the question. Just answer the question. No, she did not.
- 34:00Speaker 3: She said she didn't know those comments. That's not why
- 34:03Speaker 3: she gave the money? Senator, Can I ask you why she.
- 34:06Speaker 4: Gave the money? You don't know because she hasn't answered.
- 34:09Speaker 4: Are you going to answer? Miss Campbler?
- 34:11Speaker 3: Not desire to know why you gave money to Sanatical
- 34:14Speaker 3: who says we are aligned?
- 34:15Speaker 4: Mister Chairman, I have a lot a lot of other
- 34:17Speaker 4: centers of busy days. Can we get on with the
- 34:19Speaker 4: next person?
- 34:20Speaker 3: You don't want to answer to the question either, Senator
- 34:21Speaker 3: Booker uh red question, Miss Campbell? Or do you believe
- 34:25Speaker 3: this committee doesn't deserve an answer to that question?
- 34:27Speaker 1: Mister chairman?
- 34:28Speaker 4: Who has?
- 34:28Speaker 3: They're just refusing to answer.
- 34:32Speaker 1: Who's next?
- 34:33Speaker 4: Centaer's time has expired? The Senator doesn't like the answer.
- 34:36Speaker 4: He's not an answer.
- 34:37Speaker 3: She sat there silently and has not spoken.
- 34:39Speaker 2: That is, by definition not an answer from It's amazing
- 34:43Speaker 2: by the way they said she answered the question.
- 34:44Speaker 1: They're just flat out live, won't they?
- 34:47Speaker 3: They will? And it was really striking. I've never seen
- 34:50Speaker 3: so this particular judicial nominee. She presents as a sort
- 34:54Speaker 3: of very mousey, shy woman, which is really weird because
- 34:58Speaker 3: she volunteers for communists like I've never seen that, and
- 35:03Speaker 3: she had so Lindsey so Chuck Grassley asked her, Hey,
- 35:08Speaker 3: you volunteered for this communist group and she said, I've
- 35:11Speaker 3: never represented them, and he was like, oh, well, okay,
- 35:14Speaker 3: I guess my staff got that wrong.
- 35:16Speaker 4: Sorry.
- 35:17Speaker 3: So that happened first, and then Lindsey Graham asked and
- 35:20Speaker 3: he asked her, why did you give money to this?
- 35:21Speaker 3: I mean, this was a radical candidate who literally said,
- 35:25Speaker 3: all fifty two Republicans who voted against Katanji Brown Jackson
- 35:31Speaker 3: or all fifty two Republicans not a vote against Tanji
- 35:33Speaker 3: Brown Jackson, but fifty two Republicans were Jim Crow Republicans, including,
- 35:40Speaker 3: by the way, Tim Scott. She called Tim Scott a
- 35:42Speaker 3: white white supremacist. He's African American, but she called Tim
- 35:46Speaker 3: Scott a white supremacist. This was this judicial candidate's single
- 35:50Speaker 3: largest donation. She gave fifteen hundred dollars, more than she'd
- 35:53Speaker 3: ever given to any political candidate. And Lindsey asked her,
- 35:56Speaker 3: said why did you give the money? And she just
- 35:58Speaker 3: stared at him violently, and Lindsey moved on. So I
- 36:02Speaker 3: went and asked her, why did you give the money?
- 36:04Speaker 3: And she tried that she had the weirdest I've never
- 36:07Speaker 3: seen a candidate do this where you have a question
- 36:09Speaker 3: and she just looks at you silently. And then what
- 36:13Speaker 3: happened is a bunch of Democrat senators rush in. So
- 36:15Speaker 3: Peter Welch was cherry of the hearing. He's trying to
- 36:18Speaker 3: gabble down, saying no, no, no, no, I don't want
- 36:19Speaker 3: to answer this question. Then Corey Booker came in, so
- 36:22Speaker 3: Sheldon Whitehouse chimed in. None of them were there for
- 36:25Speaker 3: most of the hearing. And Sheldon Whitehouse came in and said,
- 36:27Speaker 3: I'll just gable him down. They want that, So he
- 36:29Speaker 3: was trying to do that, and then Corey Booker was
- 36:32Speaker 3: just trying to stop the bleeding. But you know what,
- 36:34Speaker 3: It's amazing. Do you know how many Democrat senators on
- 36:37Speaker 3: Judiciary Committee asked her, Hey, why'd you represent a communist organization?
- 36:41Speaker 1: I'm going to go with probably zero, that would be zero.
- 36:44Speaker 3: None of them cared, you know, none of them. It
- 36:49Speaker 3: is a bizarre thing. There is no independent freethrink thinking
- 36:53Speaker 3: among the Democrats.
- 36:54Speaker 1: There's none.
- 36:55Speaker 4: Listen.
- 36:55Speaker 3: When Donald Trump was president, he nominated some terrific judges.
- 36:59Speaker 3: We can confirmed the vast majority of his judges. He
- 37:02Speaker 3: had some judicial nominees that were mistakes. That were bad nominees.
- 37:04Speaker 3: And you know what we did as Republicans. We rejected him.
- 37:07Speaker 3: We said, nope, take this one back, this one's not there.
- 37:10Speaker 3: That's actually under the Constitution, the job of the Senate,
- 37:13Speaker 3: it's called advise and consent. The Democrats never ever do that.
- 37:17Speaker 3: They're just a rubber stamp, and they're willing that. This
- 37:21Speaker 3: is a woman who's volunteering for multiple organizations that are
- 37:24Speaker 3: calling for abolishing ice and abolishing the police, and the
- 37:27Speaker 3: Democrats will all be like the polit bureau and vote dah.
- 37:31Speaker 3: That sounds like a federal appellate judge to.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Us, It's incredible. At the end of the day.
- 37:38Speaker 2: The question everybody's asking right now is is she going
- 37:40Speaker 2: to get confirmed?
- 37:41Speaker 1: And the answer is yes.
- 37:42Speaker 3: Correct now, I think we'll probably beat this judge. And
- 37:46Speaker 3: I actually think the reason they paired them so typically
- 37:50Speaker 3: Judiciary Committee, they'll do one Court of Appeals judge at
- 37:53Speaker 3: a time.
- 37:53Speaker 4: It's unusual to do too.
- 37:54Speaker 3: And I think the reason they did this it is
- 37:57Speaker 3: I think they knew this woman's record was pretty right
- 38:00Speaker 3: and she was going to have a really rough time.
- 38:02Speaker 3: I think they really want the left wing judge from
- 38:05Speaker 3: Maine on the fifth circuit on the first circuit, and
- 38:09Speaker 3: they know that her record is terrible too. She keeps
- 38:11Speaker 3: letting violent criminals go with really really short prison sentences.
- 38:16Speaker 3: But they knew, so you know, look, I spent I
- 38:19Speaker 3: don't know, forty five seconds laying out the terrible record
- 38:22Speaker 3: about this judge letting violent criminals go early. But you
- 38:25Speaker 3: had a communist next to her. I don't know if
- 38:27Speaker 3: she's a communist. She just volunteers for the communists, so
- 38:30Speaker 3: you decide what that is. I think it was a strategy.
- 38:33Speaker 3: They know the sixth circuit judge will go down, that
- 38:36Speaker 3: she's not going to get the votes, but they're trying
- 38:38Speaker 3: to ram the other judge through, and the other judge
- 38:40Speaker 3: from Maine got a bumpy ride, but a much better
- 38:43Speaker 3: ride than if she'd been solo and people had actually
- 38:45Speaker 3: been able to really dive into a record.
