- 2:36Speaker 1: is for you. Let me help you understand something real clear.
- 2:42Speaker 1: You ain't gonna make it the way you want to,
- 2:46Speaker 1: and you're not going to make it to the heights
- 2:50Speaker 1: that's fully out there and available for you without God.
- 2:54Speaker 1: And I'm just kidding. Keep it real, simple and clean
- 2:56Speaker 1: for you today. You're not going to make it the
- 3:01Speaker 1: way you want to, and you're not going to get
- 3:06Speaker 1: to the heights that's available to you without God. You
- 3:11Speaker 1: have to get this through your head. Now, listen to me.
- 3:15Speaker 1: You can try it if you want to, because I did.
- 3:18Speaker 1: I'm here to tell you I am talking purely from experience. Here.
- 3:23Speaker 1: You can try it without God, and you can see
- 3:26Speaker 1: how far you can get. Now when you have some
- 3:30Speaker 1: measures of success, of course you will will will will
- 3:35Speaker 1: it feel like days like you might make it? Of
- 3:37Speaker 1: course you will, of course without a doubt. But let
- 3:41Speaker 1: me ask you a question, though, What you're gonna do
- 3:44Speaker 1: about them days when you feel like you ain't gonna
- 3:46Speaker 1: make it. What you're gonna do about them, days when
- 3:49Speaker 1: you feel like giving up. When you're gonna do about them,
- 3:52Speaker 1: days where it feels like there are no answers to
- 3:55Speaker 1: your questions. What you're gonna do about them days? What
- 3:57Speaker 1: you're gonna do about them, days when everybody laughing at
- 4:00Speaker 1: and turn against you. What you're gonna do about them,
- 4:02Speaker 1: days when you just don't see no way through it?
- 4:05Speaker 1: What you're gonna do about them days? See? I got there,
- 4:09Speaker 1: I got the sunshine. You know, sunshine cool. Everybody got
- 4:13Speaker 1: friends when it's Sunday outside. You want some friends, hit
- 4:15Speaker 1: the lotto? You you, you, you, you, you want you
- 4:20Speaker 1: want to get rid of them? Friends, Go ask for
- 4:22Speaker 1: some help. You want some friends hit the lotto. You
- 4:25Speaker 1: wanna you wanna get rid of some people, Go ask
- 4:27Speaker 1: for some help. Man, I'm telling my man, they scattered
- 4:30Speaker 1: like roaches when lights come on. I'm trying to tell
- 4:33Speaker 1: you so now I'm here, here we go again. You
- 4:37Speaker 1: can do this without God now because I've done it,
- 4:41Speaker 1: and you can have yourself some measure success. But I
- 4:44Speaker 1: want to let me, let me even hip you too
- 4:45Speaker 1: a little bit closer, though, Let me tell you why
- 4:48Speaker 1: you are doing it without God and having some measure
- 4:51Speaker 1: of success. Can I tell you why? Because of God's
- 4:54Speaker 1: grace and mercy to us, because of His grace and
- 4:57Speaker 1: mercy trying to keep us in spite of ourselves, for
- 5:02Speaker 1: the real mission that He really got for us. See
- 5:05Speaker 1: that's the truth of the matter. Now, now what we're
- 5:07Speaker 1: talking about nasty See. So yeah, yeah, you can do
- 5:10Speaker 1: it without God, and you can have some measure success
- 5:12Speaker 1: without God. And yeah, you know, you know, yeah, you
- 5:14Speaker 1: got your little degree and everything. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 5:18Speaker 1: you completed the program, got all that, YadA YadA YadA.
- 5:22Speaker 1: But don't you know something. It's because of God's grace
- 5:25Speaker 1: and mercy that he that he put that he helps
- 5:28Speaker 1: us anyway when even when we ain't asking for help,
- 5:31Speaker 1: When he bails us out anyway, when we don't even
- 5:33Speaker 1: ask him to be bailed out. You know why, because
- 5:36Speaker 1: He loves us that much that he would that he
- 5:38Speaker 1: would allow us to exist until we get our mind
- 5:41Speaker 1: together where he could take us where really trying to
- 5:43Speaker 1: take us. But now let me tell you something though,
- 5:46Speaker 1: Let's get this real straight and clear today. You can
- 5:50Speaker 1: do this without God if you want to. But I
- 5:53Speaker 1: am telling you to get to where you really want
- 5:56Speaker 1: to be and to be all that God has for you.
- 5:59Speaker 1: You got to have God. There's no ifs ands but
- 6:03Speaker 1: about it, and and and and and let me tell
- 6:07Speaker 1: you this here. I don't really care what nobody then
- 6:10Speaker 1: told you. Are you listening to me? I don't care
- 6:15Speaker 1: what they say. Don't get this thing twisted. They got
- 6:20Speaker 1: these people out here talking about their luminatis and all listen, man,
- 6:23Speaker 1: don't listen to me. Don't get caught in this mess.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Don't get caught in no foolishness. You were created by God.
- 6:34Speaker 1: God created you, ain't your soul. We were all created
- 6:38Speaker 1: in His image, all of us. Don't. Don't. Don't get
- 6:43Speaker 1: to talking about you, FINNI to cut a deal with
- 6:44Speaker 1: the with the devil and all you ain't cutting no
- 6:46Speaker 1: deal with nobody, man and dead. The devil don't do deals.
- 6:49Speaker 1: He one sided you. I'm taking you to hell. You
- 6:53Speaker 1: going to hell. You're burning here. That's his deal. I
- 6:57Speaker 1: want your soul. I want you to lose hope. I
- 7:00Speaker 1: want you to take your life. I want you to
- 7:01Speaker 1: take some other people's lives. I want you to feel hopeless.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I want you to realize that it ain't no God.
- 7:07Speaker 1: That's his whole deal. His whole deal is negative. Oh
- 7:11Speaker 1: he can talk to you in the dealing drugs if
- 7:13Speaker 1: you want to. But let me tell you something about this.
- 7:15Speaker 1: I watched these shows all the time, drug ink and
- 7:17Speaker 1: all this here, cocaine mafia. Everybody on now go to
- 7:22Speaker 1: jail and get killed. Everybody on now, our prisoners is
- 7:27Speaker 1: filled the day with our young boys because somebody that
- 7:29Speaker 1: did because they thought they could outslick the system. They
- 7:33Speaker 1: thought they had a way they thought, they said them
- 7:36Speaker 1: been here and they failed. For the old cliche, Man,
- 7:38Speaker 1: I gotta do what I gotta do, I gotta get
- 7:40Speaker 1: this money. Well, the only reason you gotta do what
- 7:42Speaker 1: you gotta do is because, like I said all the time,
- 7:44Speaker 1: you didn't do what you were supposed to do. Had
- 7:46Speaker 1: you just done some of the things you were supposed
- 7:49Speaker 1: to do, had you just stayed in that school when
- 7:51Speaker 1: it didn't look right, Well, if you had just formed
- 7:54Speaker 1: a relationship with God and and and and gotten rid
- 7:57Speaker 1: of that, I ain't gonna make it that I'm hopelessness
- 7:59Speaker 1: feel you wouldn't have found yourself doing something so far
- 8:03Speaker 1: out the box, got you out here being in the
- 8:05Speaker 1: spirit that don't even belong to you. God ain't created
- 8:08Speaker 1: you to be no dope dealer or no such a
- 8:10Speaker 1: thing or nothing even close to that. So see, let's
- 8:13Speaker 1: get your mind right. See see, let's get your mind
- 8:16Speaker 1: right and understand what's going on here. You know that
- 8:21Speaker 1: that's that's that's that's that's that's what I need. Everybody,
- 8:24Speaker 1: I need, I need everybody to get me clearly about this.
- 8:28Speaker 1: This is not going to happen without a relationship with God.
- 8:32Speaker 1: It will not happen for you in any shape, form
- 8:36Speaker 1: or fashion. Now, one more time, for those of you
- 8:39Speaker 1: that think you're making it without him, I want you
- 8:42Speaker 1: to understand something. Clearly. It is but because of His
- 8:45Speaker 1: grace and mercy that we exist. And God has just
- 8:48Speaker 1: taken care of you, looking out for you. Got some
- 8:51Speaker 1: angels encamped around you until you get your mind right
- 8:54Speaker 1: so he can get you where you're going. But now
- 8:56Speaker 1: I want you to understand something. There's a cause and
- 8:59Speaker 1: a consequence and a penalty for everything we do this
- 9:02Speaker 1: outside the will of God. That's for all of us.
- 9:05Speaker 1: All of us have consequences, penalties, and everything that we
- 9:09Speaker 1: got to deal with outside of the will of God.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Understand that. Clearly. Don't get this thing twisted sideways. You
- 9:18Speaker 1: understand me. So now while we're dealing and we're operating,
- 9:22Speaker 1: I want you to understand something that you know. I
- 9:25Speaker 1: heard a young man tell me one day. He said, Steve,
- 9:29Speaker 1: you know, man, I just don't see how God looking
- 9:31Speaker 1: out for me and he would allow all these things
- 9:33Speaker 1: to happen to me. I'm having such a hard time
- 9:35Speaker 1: in my life. I really don't see how there's a
- 9:38Speaker 1: God looking out for me. I looked the young man.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I said, the manage is something. Man, you're still breathing.
- 9:44Speaker 1: He said, yeah, I'm standing here talking to you. I said,
- 9:47Speaker 1: you're still talking and he said yeah. I said you're
- 9:49Speaker 1: still free. He said what you mean? I said, you
- 9:51Speaker 1: ain't locked up? Are you? Said no, I'm standing here
- 9:54Speaker 1: talking to you. I said, where you get them close
- 9:56Speaker 1: from I bought him? I said, when you bought him
- 9:58Speaker 1: with what I bought him with money? Where you get
- 10:00Speaker 1: the money from you? So I got a job. Mr.
- 10:03Speaker 1: I got a job. I said, well, well where you
- 10:06Speaker 1: live though, he's I got apartment? I said, where you
- 10:09Speaker 1: gort department for Mr. Hor I'm working. I got an apartment.
- 10:12Speaker 1: I got a job. I was okay, okay, so now
- 10:16Speaker 1: this this, this God ain't looking out for you. Thinkin
- 10:19Speaker 1: finish telling me what you're telling me. We'll see. Man,
- 10:22Speaker 1: I'm having it real hard right now. I said, hey, hey, man,
- 10:25Speaker 1: are you are you hungry? You have you had lunch yet?
- 10:28Speaker 1: He said yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, already had lunch yet.
- 10:31Speaker 1: I said, okay, okay, So so so gone finished telling
- 10:35Speaker 1: me about this how God ain't looking out for you?
- 10:37Speaker 1: He said, oh, and you know, man, every every time
- 10:40Speaker 1: I try to do something. It seemed like it go
- 10:42Speaker 1: wrong for me. I said, but lett, let me know
- 10:44Speaker 1: match something, man, I said, every time you go wrong
- 10:46Speaker 1: for y'all, say somehow you survive it. He said, yeah, yeah,
- 10:49Speaker 1: I survive it some kind of way. But it's still
- 10:52Speaker 1: be all messed up from me. I said, but but
- 10:54Speaker 1: you still got through it though. He said yeah. I said, okay, Man,
- 10:57Speaker 1: gonna finish telling me how how God ain't looking out
- 10:59Speaker 1: for you? And he stopped. He said him it's harm.
- 11:02Speaker 1: He said, how come every time I tell you something
- 11:04Speaker 1: that's going wrong, you keep telling me God looking out
- 11:06Speaker 1: for me? I said, because you're still here, man, I said, See,
- 11:09Speaker 1: you don't understand it. I said. You seem to think man,
- 11:12Speaker 1: that that is supposed to be, that you're supposed to
- 11:15Speaker 1: just supposed to skate through life, that is all supposed
- 11:18Speaker 1: to go how you want it, any kind of way.
- 11:20Speaker 1: I said, Man, Jesus, the test of your faith, I say,
- 11:23Speaker 1: God looking out for you the whole time. I say,
- 11:24Speaker 1: every time you tell me something going wrong, you seem
- 11:28Speaker 1: to turn around and tell me how you survived, and
- 11:29Speaker 1: you keep telling me what ain't going right, But you
- 11:32Speaker 1: keep telling me all these things you have. I said, man.
- 11:34Speaker 1: So what you gotta do is you gotta stop looking
- 11:36Speaker 1: at the stop looking at the what you ain't got column,
- 11:39Speaker 1: and start focusing on what you do have column, because
- 11:42Speaker 1: what you do have, it's probably God looking out for you.
- 11:46Speaker 1: I said, not a part where is going wrong. Let's
- 11:48Speaker 1: think about what you're doing wrong that's making it go wrong.
- 11:50Speaker 1: I said. We are all products of our decisions in
- 11:53Speaker 1: our life. I said, young man, I said, get your
- 11:55Speaker 1: head out of the negative column and put it in
- 11:57Speaker 1: the positive coluge. Be grateful for the things that God
- 12:00Speaker 1: I didn't gave you, and then God will probably give
- 12:01Speaker 1: you some more. But if you ain't happy with nothing
- 12:03Speaker 1: He hadn't done for you, you wanted to keep piling
- 12:05Speaker 1: stuff on. I said, you fail in the test, young man.
- 12:08Speaker 1: The test is are you grateful for where you are
- 12:11Speaker 1: right now so I could give you more so we
- 12:14Speaker 1: can move forward? He said, A man, I never even
- 12:16Speaker 1: looked at like that. I said, well, why don't you
- 12:18Speaker 1: take your blessed cell phone on somewhere and sit down?
- 12:20Speaker 1: He saith, I think I'm going over here and let
- 12:22Speaker 1: you finished talking. I said, thank you. So sometimes you
- 12:25Speaker 1: just got to look at what you do got fork
- 12:26Speaker 1: that's all it is. Okay, you can't make it without God, y'all.
- 12:30Speaker 1: You got me today. All right, let's be clear, let's go.

- 15:15Speaker 1: biggest lie you ever told? Why you were taking? I was,
- 15:19Speaker 1: I was with my boy and Tony Fields and ran
- 15:23Speaker 1: into this girl who was from each of the girl
- 15:26Speaker 1: wasn't too fine. She was three fine, hold on, hold
- 15:32Speaker 1: on was too fine. She was three fine fine. I

- 16:51Speaker 1: Actually it's just you know, because you know, God and
- 16:55Speaker 1: Allah is the same. It's the same, you know what
- 16:59Speaker 1: I mean? So he just really just yeah he lyned anyway,
- 17:02Speaker 1: So I think might work. We throw it. Yeah he
- 17:06Speaker 1: said something else. Pimper, he said something, pimper. Say it again?
- 17:09Speaker 1: What do you say, Joe? I said, when when we
- 17:12Speaker 1: run to am, the first thing out, the first thing
- 17:14Speaker 1: that comes out of our mouth is what it is.
- 17:16Speaker 1: You know, we think we can do it the first
- 17:18Speaker 1: thing out of the mouth, But what comes out first
- 17:21Speaker 1: thing we think comes out our mouth. Yeah. You know,
- 17:25Speaker 1: if your company hear you, you're gonna lose your job.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Let us say help job because they do not know
- 17:35Speaker 1: who worked for the white folks, have no what Jeef
- 17:41Speaker 1: really about. So let me go on and help you. Man.
- 17:46Speaker 1: You need to think that Joe complaints coming out. You're
- 17:51Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show coming on the top
- 17:57Speaker 1: of the hours with our national news and headlines. But
- 18:03Speaker 1: right before we get to the san of course the
- 18:06Speaker 1: pastors ch complaints. We here we go again complaining this
- 18:32Speaker 1: church every Monday morning. We got a membership that got
- 18:37Speaker 1: some prop and what is it now, decon pastor, Well,
- 18:43Speaker 1: you were there yesterday, but before you came out of
- 18:46Speaker 1: your study, you didn't see what took place during the
- 18:50Speaker 1: plane that was going on in uh the sanctuary, pastor.
- 18:58Speaker 1: As you know, Uh, Dwayne Willis was playing Jesus better
- 19:04Speaker 1: on this big Dan but they could not He's too heavy.
- 19:07Speaker 1: They couldn't get him on the cross. Uh. Sister Phyllis
- 19:12Speaker 1: Johnson who was playing married just walked off and lapping.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Now and the two thieves were from the prison minister.
- 19:19Speaker 1: They still actually on the crosses and can get they
- 19:22Speaker 1: stilled up there. Now, this was a disaster. It really
- 19:26Speaker 1: was the church of all the two thieves. I ordered
- 19:32Speaker 1: them to stay up on the cross because they had
- 19:34Speaker 1: actually stole two offerings, and so it was my idea
- 19:39Speaker 1: to let them play the thieves. And it was a
- 19:42Speaker 1: bit of a trick because they punishment is now there.
- 19:45Speaker 1: They is up on them crosses and they're gonna remain
- 19:49Speaker 1: there until they talk, because that offering was the offering
- 19:53Speaker 1: I was gonna used to go to Vegas. Now that
- 19:56Speaker 1: trip counsel what you're going the game? Big Duh better
- 20:05Speaker 1: known that Duncan, Big Duncan, He said, Excuse me, I said,
- 20:14Speaker 1: he said that the deacon told us he was Big d. No,
- 20:18Speaker 1: that's for Big Duncan. Duncan. Donuting you allow me to
- 20:22Speaker 1: do these jokes right here, said to Sherley. The fact
- 20:25Speaker 1: that you don't get them and need explaining on them.
- 20:28Speaker 1: I know he said that with Big d. But I
- 20:30Speaker 1: said that Big Duncan is what we had called in
- 20:33Speaker 1: for Shore, for Duncan do nutting. Well, he was the
- 20:37Speaker 1: reason why it's a disaster path because they couldn't get
- 20:40Speaker 1: him on the cross. They got him halfway up and
- 20:41Speaker 1: they had to come down. Well, I had told him
- 20:44Speaker 1: when I found that Dwayne was gonna play Christ to
- 20:48Speaker 1: just lay the cross on the floor and then don't
- 20:52Speaker 1: raise it up. Just allow people to walk by and
- 20:55Speaker 1: see the resurrection in a stretched out of laid down position.
- 21:04Speaker 1: So that you are right, though, Deacon, it was a
- 21:07Speaker 1: disaster yesterday. And but but mom gonna, as a pastor,
- 21:13Speaker 1: do not take them two thieves down off the cross
- 21:17Speaker 1: until we find out what happened to the money. That understood, Deacon,
- 21:23Speaker 1: That is understood. Pastor, You have no I thank you
- 21:27Speaker 1: problems with me at all. Pastor. Well, I know you
- 21:32Speaker 1: were excited yesterday that um three hundred and sixty people
- 21:39Speaker 1: joined church yesterday. But what you did not realize that
- 21:42Speaker 1: it's the same three hundred and sixty two that join
- 21:45Speaker 1: last Easter. These are really considered the Easter members. But
- 21:50Speaker 1: what we did as charged each one of them fifty
- 21:53Speaker 1: dollars for coming in. I did that on my own, pastor,
- 21:57Speaker 1: and some of the deacons are mad, but I raised
- 22:00Speaker 1: island and one dollar. Well eighteen thousand? How much? How
- 22:05Speaker 1: much was the total we have in treasury now, Deacon?
- 22:10Speaker 1: A total? Right now we are sitting on twenty four thousand,
- 22:15Speaker 1: two hundred and twenty five dollars. Let me get up
- 22:22Speaker 1: a minute, colder on one second, I've gotta do some
- 22:25Speaker 1: figurations here, how much deacon four thousand? How much? Two
- 22:36Speaker 1: hundred and we just need fifty nine million, and nine
- 22:45Speaker 1: hundred and seventy five thousand, seven hundred and five dollars
- 22:49Speaker 1: for my jet. I don't know what's taking y'all so
- 22:53Speaker 1: long with this, but at this page right here, ain't
- 22:56Speaker 1: no telling where I'm gonna get this jet. Now that
- 22:59Speaker 1: we show fifty nine million, nine on at seven at
- 23:04Speaker 1: five thousand, seven hundred and five dollars, I'm gonna breaking
- 23:13Speaker 1: right here. I'm gonna have to change mind from a
- 23:16Speaker 1: jet to just a Cadillac. You're listening to the Steven Show,
- 23:24Speaker 1: all right, she's here. Steve introduced, ladies and gentlemen, the
- 23:27Speaker 1: lovely and trip. Thanks Steve. Good morning everybody out there.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Sairly call of Tommy. Everybody out there, This is a
- 23:33Speaker 1: trip with the news, all right. Cops in Cleveland are
- 23:36Speaker 1: on the lookout for a man who says he killed
- 23:38Speaker 1: twelve people last week, and who says that they filmed
- 23:41Speaker 1: himself murdering one guy, an innocent man who we went
- 23:43Speaker 1: up to on the street and shot at seventy four
- 23:46Speaker 1: year old man and then put the video on his
- 23:48Speaker 1: Facebook page. The suspect is identified as Steve Stevens, about
- 23:51Speaker 1: six ft tall, two d four pounds, with a ball
- 23:54Speaker 1: head and a full beard. Police Chief Calvin Williams, you
- 23:57Speaker 1: want this much piece of we can bring to this
- 24:00Speaker 1: right now, and uh we want him to turn himself in. Currently,
- 24:04Speaker 1: there are no other victims that we know of. We've
- 24:07Speaker 1: checked several locations that we're either in the polst itself
- 24:12Speaker 1: or that we got information about, and so far there
- 24:15Speaker 1: are no more victims that we know that are tied
- 24:17Speaker 1: to Steve's and this incident. The man who he shot,
- 24:21Speaker 1: allegedly the victim is seventy four. You A Robert Godwin
- 24:24Speaker 1: Sior China says attention over North Korea must be stopped
- 24:27Speaker 1: from reaching an irreversible and unmanageable stage. Last week, the
- 24:31Speaker 1: Trump administration dispatched a Navy aircraft carrier and its battle
- 24:35Speaker 1: group to the waters off the Korean peninsula because they
- 24:37Speaker 1: were concerns that North Korea was going to conduct some
- 24:40Speaker 1: missile tests this past weekend. Well it did, but it failed,
- 24:43Speaker 1: reportedly blowing up almost immediately. However, the Trump administration wants
- 24:47Speaker 1: a Chinese government to pressure North Korea into backing down
- 24:50Speaker 1: because as National Security Advisor hr Vic Masters says, China
- 24:54Speaker 1: has the wherewithal on our allies like we always do,
- 24:58Speaker 1: but we're also going to have to rely on on
- 25:00Speaker 1: Chinese leadership. I mean, North Korea is very vulnerable to
- 25:04Speaker 1: pressure from the Chinese. Of North Korea's trade comes from China.
- 25:09Speaker 1: All of their energy requirements are fulfilled by China. And
- 25:13Speaker 1: that's why the administration is pressuring China. But they don't
- 25:16Speaker 1: know if China's going to actually do what they say
- 25:18Speaker 1: they're going to do. McMasters appeared on ABC's This Week.
- 25:21Speaker 1: The Presidents tweeted about this weekends a nationwide protest calling
- 25:24Speaker 1: in him to release his tax returns, saying quote, I
- 25:27Speaker 1: did what was almost an impossible thing to do for
- 25:29Speaker 1: a Republican, easily winning the electoral College. Now tax returns
- 25:33Speaker 1: are brought up again. Trump's tweet comes after thousands of
- 25:35Speaker 1: organized protests urged him to release his tax returns like
- 25:38Speaker 1: other Americans. By tomorrow, April eighteenth, at least twenty people
- 25:42Speaker 1: were arrested in a protests in Brooklee, California. Meanwhile, Trump
- 25:45Speaker 1: says someone should look into who paid the demonstrators. When
- 25:48Speaker 1: Trump was asked to release his tax returns during the campaign.
- 25:50Speaker 1: You may remember he said he couldn't because he was
- 25:52Speaker 1: being audited, and then they asked the I R S
- 25:54Speaker 1: about that, and the I R S said, no, he
- 25:56Speaker 1: can do it if he wants to, but he never did.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Tops to the box office with the East Your Weekend
- 26:00Speaker 1: was the latest and the Furious franchise. The Faith of
- 26:02Speaker 1: the Furious starring Vin Diesel and the Rock blew everything
- 26:05Speaker 1: else out of the water, bringing in a jaw dropping
- 26:08Speaker 1: one million dollars for Justice first weekend. But the game
- 26:12Speaker 1: has changed now. Dominic just went rogue. Don't give up
- 26:17Speaker 1: on them so easy. One thing I can guarantee. No
- 26:22Speaker 1: one's ready for this. I don't know if you're ready
- 26:25Speaker 1: for this, but no one can guarantee this. But this
- 26:27Speaker 1: is guaranteed Faith of Furious to bring in about a
- 26:29Speaker 1: half a billion dollars internationally. What a film. Now back
- 26:33Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Thank you missing as always,
- 26:36Speaker 1: Let's go to the phones. Here's the question, what's the
- 26:38Speaker 1: worst lie you've told to impress A date? Eight seven
- 26:42Speaker 1: seven twenty nine, Steve Line three, Cat Lalyssa out of Mississippi. Hey, Melissa, Lisa, Lisa, Hey,

- 27:00Speaker 1: it looks bad to me. Strong girl, strong, Hey, So
- 27:04Speaker 1: let me ask you something. What's the worst lie you
- 27:06Speaker 1: ever told while you were dating? Well, the worst lie
- 27:10Speaker 1: I ever told while I was dating? Um, Well, I
- 27:12Speaker 1: met this guy at the church that in Carolina, well,
- 27:16Speaker 1: where I was visiting some people at and and he's
- 27:18Speaker 1: really a really nice guy, look really good. He served
- 27:21Speaker 1: the army and he was just really nice. He had
- 27:23Speaker 1: a nice car and everything, and he was trying to
- 27:25Speaker 1: talk to me and everything. So okay, I gave him
- 27:28Speaker 1: my number. We've been talking for about a month and everything.
- 27:31Speaker 1: And I told him that I had a B and
- 27:33Speaker 1: which I don't have no B and W. So now
- 27:36Speaker 1: you know, we're trying to get together. And so now
- 27:38Speaker 1: I'm so nervous. I don't know what to do because
- 27:40Speaker 1: I don't have no B and duck. I told him
- 27:43Speaker 1: when I was there visiting that my being dept was
- 27:47Speaker 1: being service during this three month service dy, you know
- 27:50Speaker 1: that loose job in the car change and all. And
- 27:53Speaker 1: then he has a nice curse. So yeah, a baby, baby,
- 27:56Speaker 1: listen to me, they stole your car, they did it. Yeah,
- 28:05Speaker 1: see that's all. See baby, you gotta learn how to
- 28:07Speaker 1: lie now, so something when once you start line, you
- 28:10Speaker 1: gotta start stacking. Not the best way to not have
- 28:14Speaker 1: a car is they stolen. Yeah, they did. They stole
- 28:18Speaker 1: my car, and and that's why I don't have it
- 28:20Speaker 1: and everything. Now listen to me, now, now, listen to me.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Listen to me. He already liked you. He already liked
- 28:27Speaker 1: what he saw. We don't care what kind of car
- 28:29Speaker 1: women dry me And don't care what kind of car
- 28:33Speaker 1: or woman dry. They just they just want what they want.
- 28:36Speaker 1: So so don't tell no more lies because you're not
- 28:40Speaker 1: good at this. Because this can't even throw a man
- 28:42Speaker 1: into nothing. I ain't got no BM done it, man.
- 28:44Speaker 1: They don't stole my damn car. Hold on, I'm gonna
- 28:47Speaker 1: be late, baby, I'm gonna be late. They don't stole
- 28:49Speaker 1: my cohole. I'm on the line with the police right now.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Call you back. I got to put the real into
- 28:55Speaker 1: it now. See you, you ain't good at telling you
- 29:00Speaker 1: right now, just when you get that they stole my car,
- 29:04Speaker 1: and be a little bit upset, but I wanted to
- 29:06Speaker 1: come see you anyway. Okay, that's a great thing. Oh
- 29:10Speaker 1: it's so good. I'm gonna try to use all of that.
- 29:13Speaker 1: She's so excited. See, don't try key to line is
- 29:19Speaker 1: total commitment. I got to write something so I can remember,
- 29:27Speaker 1: not what she does. So yeah, let this be the
- 29:35Speaker 1: last life. You gotta get back in the truth telling
- 29:39Speaker 1: me church convention. Yes can you steal? Are you? No? No?
- 29:53Speaker 1: You actually threw her when you told her to laugh
- 29:56Speaker 1: your car? They did? I mean, oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 30:05Speaker 1: thank you. Listen. I don't know what. I hope it

- 45:05Speaker 1: All right, buckle up, hold on time. We got it
- 45:06Speaker 1: before you here. It is Strawberry Letta. Think enough you subject.
- 45:10Speaker 1: I moved her, but now I cannot dump her. Hey,
- 45:12Speaker 1: Steven Shirley. I'm twenty six years old and three years
- 45:15Speaker 1: ago I graduated college. I met a nice young lady
- 45:18Speaker 1: who I've been with since then. After graduation, I ended
- 45:22Speaker 1: up moving back to my hometown, and yes, I took
- 45:25Speaker 1: her with me. Before I started dating my girlfriend, who
- 45:28Speaker 1: is four years younger than me, I was living on
- 45:32Speaker 1: my own. I moved my girlfriend and with me because
- 45:34Speaker 1: her mom kicked her out of the house. I am
- 45:37Speaker 1: really a good man. I'm very motivated, ambitious, and I
- 45:41Speaker 1: take business seriously. However, since I moved my girlfriend to
- 45:45Speaker 1: my hometown with me, everything has gone bad. She is
- 45:48Speaker 1: very in love with me, but we are just two
- 45:52Speaker 1: different people. She doesn't have goals and the only thing
- 45:55Speaker 1: she likes to do is take pictures of herself in
- 45:57Speaker 1: the mirror, post Intagram pictures, Instagram pictures, and get her
- 46:02Speaker 1: hair done. Our appointment lease ends and we we have
- 46:07Speaker 1: to go our separate ways because our apartment lease ends.
- 46:14Speaker 1: And we have to go our separate ways because to
- 46:16Speaker 1: save money, I'm moving in with my parents for a
- 46:18Speaker 1: few months, and I feel that now she has extra
- 46:21Speaker 1: baggage that I can't get rid of. I feel bad
- 46:24Speaker 1: because I know she does not know how to survive
- 46:27Speaker 1: out here on her own, and I see no future
- 46:29Speaker 1: with us, and I offered to move her back home,
- 46:31Speaker 1: but she wants to stay. I'm not in love with
- 46:34Speaker 1: her anymore, but I feel obligated to still take care
- 46:36Speaker 1: of her. This brother here got dreams and goals, and
- 46:39Speaker 1: I do not want to hold myself back and regret it. Sincerely,
- 46:41Speaker 1: young brother. Wow, um, okay, she's twenty two. She's a
- 46:46Speaker 1: grown woman. You're not responsible for a grown person. Yes,
- 46:50Speaker 1: you took her in when her mom kicked her out
- 46:52Speaker 1: and moved her out of town with you, but things
- 46:56Speaker 1: have changed now. I mean they've really changed. It's not
- 46:59Speaker 1: working out beat in the two of you again. She's
- 47:02Speaker 1: grown and old enough to be able to take care
- 47:03Speaker 1: of herself. Just as you have to cut back on
- 47:06Speaker 1: your expenses and move in with your folks, she has
- 47:09Speaker 1: to do the same. She has to get it together
- 47:10Speaker 1: for herself. You've offered to move her back home, so
- 47:13Speaker 1: do that. I mean, the only thing, um with this
- 47:16Speaker 1: letter is you sound a bit arrogant to me. You know,
- 47:19Speaker 1: you're a very good guy. You're not in love with
- 47:22Speaker 1: her anymore, but she's very in love with you, and
- 47:26Speaker 1: you know, I don't know. I hope when you do,
- 47:30Speaker 1: uh break up with her, that you do it, you know, nicely,
- 47:34Speaker 1: and that you consider her feelings at least, you know,
- 47:38Speaker 1: for a little while, because you don't sound like that
- 47:40Speaker 1: type necessarily to me. But you just, guys, are just
- 47:43Speaker 1: broken up. I mean, that's life, and she's gotta gotta go.
- 47:46Speaker 1: Your separate ways now, Steve, Well, Charlie, I think he's
- 47:50Speaker 1: a decent guy. I think he's very nice. I think
- 47:53Speaker 1: him writing the letter and wanting to find the right
- 47:56Speaker 1: way to do it, says that about the young man
- 48:02Speaker 1: you in the picture, she thinks she Kim Kardashi and
- 48:05Speaker 1: what's wrong? Yeah, taking pictures and posting you in the mirror,
- 48:11Speaker 1: just taking pictures, selfies, posting him on Instagram. He and
- 48:16Speaker 1: love with a no, mo, you move your girlfriend in
- 48:21Speaker 1: cause your mom kicked out. I'm gonna just come back
- 48:24Speaker 1: and just tell you exactly what the brother doing, what
- 48:26Speaker 1: he's gonna doing, what his plan is, and how he
- 48:29Speaker 1: going about him. That's eighteen after That's when we'll come
- 48:40Speaker 1: back with part two of Steve's response to you're listening
- 48:45Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, we're back. We're in
- 48:50Speaker 1: the middle of the Strawberry Letters subject. I moved her,
- 48:53Speaker 1: but now I cannot dump her. Part two of Steve's
- 48:56Speaker 1: response coming up. Appreciate all right, This twenty six year
- 49:03Speaker 1: old got three years ago, graduated college man, A nice
- 49:06Speaker 1: young lady. She fell on some hard times, fell out
- 49:10Speaker 1: with her mama, so he let her move in with her.
- 49:14Speaker 1: She's four years younger than me. He was living on
- 49:18Speaker 1: his own, moved a girlfriend, and mom kicked out. He
- 49:23Speaker 1: saw I'm really a good man of very motivated, ambitious.
- 49:25Speaker 1: I take care of this. I take business seriously. However,
- 49:28Speaker 1: since I moved my girlfriendto my hometown, everything is going bad.
- 49:31Speaker 1: She's very in love with me, but we're just two
- 49:34Speaker 1: different people. She don't got gold, she doesn't have goals.
- 49:37Speaker 1: The only thing she liked to do is take pictures
- 49:39Speaker 1: herself in the mirror, post Instagram pictures and get her
- 49:42Speaker 1: hair done. Okay, so you you you're the mood in
- 49:45Speaker 1: Kim Kardashi. Without the money, now, you know, now at
- 49:53Speaker 1: least go in, and we gotta go out several ways
- 49:55Speaker 1: because to save money, I'm moving in with my parents
- 49:58Speaker 1: for a few months. I feel that now she's extra
- 50:01Speaker 1: baggage and I can't get rid of. I feel bad
- 50:03Speaker 1: because I know she don't know how to survive out
- 50:06Speaker 1: there on our own. I see no future for us
- 50:08Speaker 1: and offer to move her back home, but she won't sustain.
- 50:11Speaker 1: I'm not in love or anymore, but I feel obligaged
- 50:13Speaker 1: to still take care of this brother here got dreams
- 50:16Speaker 1: and goals, and I do not want to hold myself
- 50:18Speaker 1: back and regret it's sin. Seriously, young brother, Well here's
- 50:21Speaker 1: the deal. Let me let me tell you what's up.
- 50:24Speaker 1: First of all, you're not gonna really move back home.
- 50:28Speaker 1: The reason you have a hard time financially because you're
- 50:31Speaker 1: not taking care to people. So really, when your apartment
- 50:35Speaker 1: lease is up, you've told her this is the story.
- 50:38Speaker 1: You don't came up with that you're gonna move her.
- 50:41Speaker 1: You're gonna move in with your mama so she can
- 50:43Speaker 1: go back home. See you're a bright, motivated hardwareking take
- 50:47Speaker 1: bs and seriously, you ain't gonna move back home. That's
- 50:50Speaker 1: the story. You didn't create it so she can gonna
- 50:53Speaker 1: get the hell on. Now. I'm with your partner, but
- 50:56Speaker 1: already know you just ain't no grown dude been living
- 50:59Speaker 1: with no check fing to move back home with his mama.
- 51:02Speaker 1: You already used to having played towards laying around. You
- 51:05Speaker 1: ain't gonna do that, man, So now you're not going
- 51:08Speaker 1: back home. And you created this story to get her
- 51:12Speaker 1: to move back. Now she don't want to go. That's
- 51:14Speaker 1: what this lad about. Let me tell you something. You
- 51:17Speaker 1: gotta get her out of that house before she get pregnant.
- 51:24Speaker 1: I cannot tell you how many people have played this
- 51:27Speaker 1: game right here. So if this girl ain't pregnant, man,
- 51:31Speaker 1: listen to me very carefully, just from a cat that's
- 51:34Speaker 1: seen a lot. Now, make you move. Give her the
- 51:38Speaker 1: money to go home and go live at your mama
- 51:41Speaker 1: house until she moved out of town. When she moved
- 51:44Speaker 1: back out of town, gona get your money going over
- 51:47Speaker 1: there and get your another apartment back. That's all this is.
- 51:51Speaker 1: But you better do it before she tried to have
- 51:53Speaker 1: a baby on you, because there are a lot of
- 51:55Speaker 1: people that don't have morals and values who think that's
- 51:58Speaker 1: gonna hold a man. That's very true, Steve. Now if
- 52:02Speaker 1: you don't think that's a move, and I'm sorry for everybody,

- 1:02:51Speaker 1: being a good girl for the last year. I mean
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: my Uncle Steve's book, Think like a woman, Act like
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: a think like man, Act like a woman, and all
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: of that. All the steps meant this guy really really
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: liked he was cool. We went to Uncle Ste's restaurant,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: waffle House, and then we went and had a couple
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: of drinks. Nice guy never meant to violate me, but
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: I took it too far after a kiss. I'm so
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: disappointed with myself that I fell off. The guy still
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: acts like he likes me, but he's not calling as much.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: So I totally messed up. And I needed to get
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: me enough book because I forgot the instructions. So I'm
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: mad because I'm not a lady anymore. Now. I'm just
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: hot stuff who just needed to take care of a
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: little itch. And I should have seen on my track
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: with wit that waffle house and that drink? What did
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: got a smother thing cup? But I know what you had? Yeah,
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: wh got them drinks? And then it all J J
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: and just all felt. Paul's just I don't know what
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: happened after that. I really don't. It just was nice. Yeah,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: because you got scattered, smothering, covered again, that's what happened.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: I surely did. And and and now I just I
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: just don't know how to get clean no more. I
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: just got to get some more gravy or something. And
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: I don't want to want to be a good girl. Yeah,
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: but if it ain't broke, don't fix it, baby segment.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: I can't get through to the segment that I need
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: to get through, right Yeah, what you got through with
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: this one? I ain't here to help you. Uh, you
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: have to call another time. Then you have to send
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: your stuff into the drawbar and letter. This right here
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: is just confessing. Now you get back to getting scattered,
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: smothered and covered. And I thank you for calling. God
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: bless you all right spring flower, you keep springing, baby,
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: thank you. I am so so not wanting to be
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: here right now. Let's go. Don't nobody want no waffles
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: right now? I don't want to know what a girl
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: needed help? Yeah, yeah, let's go to line five. Talked
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: to William out of Virginia. This is a confession. What's up, baby,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: confessed to the nephew. What's happening with um? As? This
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: old Nicki Minaj's thing, this thing they're going on for
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: about two weeks. Um, you know, I recently just you know,
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: my birthday just passed. I'm a little bit older than
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: what I was, and I'm pretty much done with like
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: hip hop altogether. I'm pretty much given up. That's your confession?
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: Uh where you get hip hope? Well, yeah, because I
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: mean it's more true it than that. I mean just
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: you know, I have children of my own, you know,
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: and I mean I feel like hip hop with something
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: it was more of a culture thing. So I've always
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: you know, been a fan of the coach. I've been
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: a fan of you know, the image. But where it's
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: going now with like you know, like Joe solm out
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: with Nicki Minaj's walking around with brushed out and know
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: just last year you were supposed to be like trying
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: to be an inn for the kids. You're leading the
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: kids in the wrong direction. So you know, I can't
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: really support how to get down with that? And you
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: call the man William who said that her breasts look good,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: that this is the show you called. They're just trying
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: to get through. Understand what you're saying about the keys.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: I got you all that part to help out. If
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: you're talking to this, Damn William, when you you're gonna
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: have to call. And I really respect what you're saying.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Who are you? I just it's William. Well, you know
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Who are you? I can't help you
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: right now? You see what I'm saying. Okay, Bill, Bill,
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: I can't help you right now. I understand you got
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: cheering and I got cheering too. And um, I understand
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: where you come from. On yeah, that's what I said.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: And I understand where you're coming from all this here
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: who but listen, this is just confession thing. I need
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: you to confess some you do. You can gave up?
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: You didn't gave up hip hop? Okay? And and uh well,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: thank you, will thank you. It was all a dream
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: used to read. Where what does you want me to
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: tend him? I mean I can, I can. I'm giving
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: him the best day hip hop right now? You know
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: he threw with it okay where I'm lying to Mohammed
