Composers and Their Classical Cats
Saturday, August 8 is International Cat Day. It’s a day to celebrate cats and raise awareness about how to help and protect them. International Cat Day was established in 2002 by the International Fund for Animal Welfare and other animal welfare organizations, to draw attention to the needs of cats worldwide and the importance of encouraging adoption and educating the public about responsible care. We’re celebrating the day with music by cat-loving composers throughout the day, and we’ve created a photo gallery of some of them. Take a look at these composers who adored their feline friends…
