- 2:00Speaker 1: uh huh, I shall will come on and everybody you're
- 2:04Speaker 1: listening to the voice, come on dig me now. One
- 2:08Speaker 1: and only. Steve Harvey got a radio show man. Oh man,
- 2:12Speaker 1: oh man? How many times I got to say that
- 2:16Speaker 1: before I get tired of it? M I think it's
- 2:19Speaker 1: gonna be a minute, folks. I gotta be real with you, because, boy,
- 2:23Speaker 1: that Steve Harvey got a radio show man. Clear indication
- 2:28Speaker 1: of how God can do some unexpected wonderful things for you,
- 2:34Speaker 1: How he leads your life in directions that you never
- 2:37Speaker 1: ever saw coming. You know. I was talking with somebody
- 2:39Speaker 1: the other day and they were talking about how man
- 2:43Speaker 1: they were young and they were doing things, and they
- 2:46Speaker 1: never knew that the things that they were doing as
- 2:48Speaker 1: a youngster would come and and help help form who
- 2:53Speaker 1: they were today as an adult. This guy's fifty years old,
- 2:57Speaker 1: and uh, you know the same thing for you. You
- 3:00Speaker 1: look back on your life and all of the things
- 3:03Speaker 1: that you've done, it helps shape you into who you
- 3:06Speaker 1: are now. This is provided now that you take the
- 3:11Speaker 1: positive approach. Now when I say look back at your
- 3:14Speaker 1: life and see what you've done, that doesn't mean doll
- 3:17Speaker 1: on the misfortunate moments. Because the misfortunate moments were necessary.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I know it. It's hard to see that when it's
- 3:24Speaker 1: happening to you, But the unfortunate moments are necessary. You know,
- 3:29Speaker 1: what really makes you appreciate summer vacation is winter work.
- 3:34Speaker 1: What really makes you appreciate a walk on the beach,
- 3:38Speaker 1: it's when it's cold as raining outside. What really makes
- 3:42Speaker 1: you appreciate when you're up, it's because you've been down.
- 3:47Speaker 1: See if you are up all the time. Just the
- 3:51Speaker 1: nature of us as human beings, we would lose our
- 3:53Speaker 1: appreciation for because it becomes case Sarah, whatever it is,
- 3:57Speaker 1: well it is what it is. I'm just what what
- 4:00Speaker 1: what you take it for? Granted it becomes expected. But
- 4:04Speaker 1: what happens in life's is it has so many twisting turns,
- 4:07Speaker 1: and then you learn how to deal with those twisting turns,
- 4:10Speaker 1: which makes you now a more experienced person. And then
- 4:14Speaker 1: when the sunny days come, man, you go wild. It's
- 4:16Speaker 1: really nice outside. You really want to appreciate how warm
- 4:20Speaker 1: weather just stay in a bunch of cold weather all
- 4:22Speaker 1: the time. I'm you know, you know what I'm saying.
- 4:24Speaker 1: I'm just this is really really simple and now analogies,
- 4:28Speaker 1: but it helps you along the way. Now here's what
- 4:31Speaker 1: I came to say today to everybody out there. And
- 4:34Speaker 1: this has helped me in my life. I can't tell
- 4:37Speaker 1: you what it's done for me. But a lot of
- 4:41Speaker 1: people are struggling with moving forward with their future, their
- 4:46Speaker 1: future plans, their future goals, their future aspirations, their future hopes,
- 4:53Speaker 1: their future dreams. Just simply that your future wants a
- 4:58Speaker 1: lot of people trying to have a hard time mapping
- 5:00Speaker 1: out their future. Even what I'm gonna do, what I'm
- 5:04Speaker 1: gonna be, what I'm gonna make, how or go about it?
- 5:08Speaker 1: What do I do next? I want to share something
- 5:11Speaker 1: with you that I had to come to terms with
- 5:14Speaker 1: The quickest way to lose focus on your future is
- 5:18Speaker 1: to keep focusing on your past. You know, it's like
- 5:22Speaker 1: I said at the beginning. You know when I say
- 5:24Speaker 1: it's it's wonderful to look at your life and review it,
- 5:27Speaker 1: because if you look at it, it'll tell you, uh it.
- 5:31Speaker 1: It really helps shape inform you today as the person
- 5:34Speaker 1: you are now if you look at it in a
- 5:37Speaker 1: positive sense. But if you dwell in harp on the
- 5:40Speaker 1: negative that's happened to you, then that keeps you from
- 5:44Speaker 1: seeing the good in the incident. Every bad thing that's
- 5:47Speaker 1: happened to you, there was a silver lining behind it.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I know people who were on drugs who finally man
- 5:54Speaker 1: just got sent to prison for still in because of
- 5:57Speaker 1: their habit. I know cats so dope. Well, he went
- 6:01Speaker 1: to prison. He told me one time. He said, Steve,
- 6:04Speaker 1: it's a man. It's the best thing ever happened to
- 6:06Speaker 1: me to save my life. Now, most people would think,
- 6:09Speaker 1: how in the world is going to prison helpful for you?
- 6:13Speaker 1: The brother said, it saved my life. First of all,
- 6:17Speaker 1: it got me clean. He saw, I've been cleaned for
- 6:20Speaker 1: five years from sitting in here. That's for starters. I'm cleaned.
- 6:24Speaker 1: I ain't stilling no more. I ain't putting myself in jeopardy,
- 6:27Speaker 1: and I ain't jeopardizing nobody else. He said. Now, man,
- 6:31Speaker 1: I don't went to college. I didn't got a college
- 6:33Speaker 1: degree while I met here. Then he was released from prison,
- 6:38Speaker 1: and the brother's life was completely turned around. He married,
- 6:42Speaker 1: he got a family, he got a great job. He
- 6:45Speaker 1: got to work every day. He's a productive citizen. I mean.
- 6:49Speaker 1: So he looks back on his incarceration, even his drug abuse,
- 6:55Speaker 1: and it taught him how to appreciate the things in
- 6:58Speaker 1: life that he had taken for granted and was missing
- 7:00Speaker 1: because he said, Man, my life was just in a blur.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I didn't even know what was going on. He said,
- 7:06Speaker 1: Now I appreciate every day I wake up. That's what
- 7:09Speaker 1: I mean. Even in your missteps in life, there is
- 7:13Speaker 1: a purpose for the missteps. Every time you fail, there
- 7:17Speaker 1: was a reason for the failure. See what I had
- 7:20Speaker 1: to do was I had to learn that all of
- 7:22Speaker 1: my failures taught me how to get back up. So
- 7:26Speaker 1: I became a very strong and tough person in getting
- 7:29Speaker 1: back up. And then I was down and out so
- 7:32Speaker 1: long that it taught me how to really appreciate the up.
- 7:37Speaker 1: And so I've taken all of that and used it
- 7:40Speaker 1: those experiences that happened to me, and I became a
- 7:44Speaker 1: more experienced person. So next time when people talk about
- 7:47Speaker 1: me who don't know me, it don't shake me. Because
- 7:52Speaker 1: everybody's not gonna like you. Man, you might as well
- 7:53Speaker 1: gonna get on this train right now. And so what
- 7:57Speaker 1: I'm saying to you out there is the quickest way
- 7:59Speaker 1: to lose focus on your future is to keep focusing
- 8:02Speaker 1: on your path. Let it go, man, go forward. It's over.
- 8:07Speaker 1: You made it, you got through it, You're beyond it.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah he left. But like I told us
- 8:13Speaker 1: lady on my TV show the other day, sometimes the
- 8:16Speaker 1: breakup is the blessing. I know it's hard to break
- 8:19Speaker 1: up because now you're loaning you by yourself. But man,
- 8:22Speaker 1: but when you in misery, when you was in that,
- 8:24Speaker 1: weren't you in complete misery in that? Now you kept
- 8:29Speaker 1: asking God to fix it. But it takes two people
- 8:31Speaker 1: to fix a relationship. It don't just take one. It
- 8:34Speaker 1: takes two to make a thing go right. It takes
- 8:38Speaker 1: two to make it out of sight. Say you know
- 8:41Speaker 1: that's that's that's a song. But man, that's so true.
- 8:45Speaker 1: You really do have to have two people wanting a
- 8:48Speaker 1: relationship to work. It can't just be one person one
- 8:50Speaker 1: the relationship. So you can pray about the relationship all
- 8:53Speaker 1: you want. If the other person don't want you no
- 8:56Speaker 1: more and ain't gonna act right, you can't make him
- 8:58Speaker 1: do that or you can't make her do that. So man,
- 9:02Speaker 1: the relationship to break up. Sometimes it's a blessing. It's over.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Let it go go forward. Quit looking at how much
- 9:10Speaker 1: time you wasted. Man, that's that kills people from getting
- 9:14Speaker 1: the next if you're constantly dwelling on how much time
- 9:17Speaker 1: I gave him and how much time I gave her,
- 9:20Speaker 1: and now here I am lost it alone. Oh, you
- 9:24Speaker 1: ain't wasting no time. Some of the times was good,
- 9:27Speaker 1: a lot of them was bad. So what you're gonna
- 9:30Speaker 1: do now? You You ain't gonna have no future because
- 9:33Speaker 1: you're gonna keep focusing on your past. Are you serious?
- 9:38Speaker 1: So now you're asking God to give you another relationship
- 9:42Speaker 1: when you don't even have enough sense to appreciate the
- 9:46Speaker 1: fact that you are now available for another relationship. But
- 9:50Speaker 1: you steady asking God for a new relationship. But you
- 9:55Speaker 1: are yet to be grateful that you are in a
- 9:59Speaker 1: position to have a relationship. And you keep harping on
- 10:02Speaker 1: the past. You don't think you hear that. I'm just
- 10:04Speaker 1: a dude with a show and I hear it all
- 10:06Speaker 1: the time. Let it go go forward. It's over. You
- 10:11Speaker 1: made it, He bought you through it, you conquered, you
- 10:15Speaker 1: survived it. Why are you dwelling on it and making
- 10:19Speaker 1: it the cross around your neck when clearly he had
- 10:23Speaker 1: removed it for you. Now, all you got to do
- 10:26Speaker 1: is come on. So if you're sitting behind them walls,
- 10:29Speaker 1: brothers and sisters, I'm talking directly to you sometimes. Man,
- 10:33Speaker 1: you just got to get it right. All this repeat
- 10:36Speaker 1: of fitting the business that's for? Who is that for?
- 10:38Speaker 1: How ignorant can you be to keep giving your life
- 10:42Speaker 1: back to the penal system? Be free, man, walk the streets,
- 10:46Speaker 1: do the right thing. Ask God to help connect you.
- 10:48Speaker 1: He could do anything. You think he can't give you
- 10:51Speaker 1: a job? Are you serious? Man? Put some faith on it.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Let's move forward, y'all. Let it go. Let's move you're listening.
- 11:04Speaker 1: I'm just a bill. I'm only a bill, and I'm
- 11:07Speaker 1: sitting here, calpter here. I'm sorry. Those are the days
- 11:11Speaker 1: that I grew up at school. Lady in the building
- 11:17Speaker 1: holding it down for our feel as leader who is
- 11:19Speaker 1: out on vacation today, the one and only Steve Harby,
- 11:22Speaker 1: So welcome to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Whether nephew
- 11:25Speaker 1: was holding it down. But I can't do it by myself.
- 11:29Speaker 1: There is a crew. There is ensemble here that makes
- 11:33Speaker 1: this whole thing work around. Put your hands together for
- 11:37Speaker 1: Colin Farrell, Why are you talking like that? I don't know?
- 11:41Speaker 1: Good morning? What is it? Thursday? This week is going?
- 11:44Speaker 1: Ain't nobody ground you? I'm sorry dog? That came out
- 11:51Speaker 1: my mind. And a good morning, Tommy, Shirley, Jay and Junior.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Happy Thursday to you guys. What's going on? Mm hmm
- 12:03Speaker 1: surely Strawberry, Hey, good morning now if your morning everyone,
- 12:07Speaker 1: everyone on this show and throughout the world, thank you
- 12:11Speaker 1: so very much, my brothers and sisters. Morning everybody. That's wrong.
- 12:19Speaker 1: That's it's not a crisis. No, I've only been sleep
- 12:26Speaker 1: thirty minutes. I've been packing. Oh you're moving, that's right, yeah,
- 12:30Speaker 1: across country. Yeah, I've made it to work. Wow. That's
- 12:35Speaker 1: good man, that's good. Okay, I'm picking up in a minute.
- 12:39Speaker 1: It's different. Oh, yes, it's very different now. You know
- 12:44Speaker 1: when the Beverly Hill Bill. He's went through because you
- 12:46Speaker 1: hand it to Severn. He didn't strike oil different loads,
- 12:55Speaker 1: clearly if he's packing himself, right, Anthony Brown, what's going on?
- 13:04Speaker 1: This is the day the Lord has made. Watch out
- 13:08Speaker 1: there now those two things don't go together. And be
- 13:12Speaker 1: glad that too. And watch out there now, all right?
- 13:23Speaker 1: Learned the word. Yes. Yesterday Jack and I was on
- 13:27Speaker 1: the phone just talking. I said, no, no, no, no,
- 13:31Speaker 1: no no. He said, I don't even realize. No no, no,
- 13:39Speaker 1: to put it on a shirt that works, to it works,
- 13:44Speaker 1: that works. So it's Thursday. It is storms, Cindy pounding
- 13:52Speaker 1: the golf coasts with heavy rain. Yah know, I ain't
- 13:54Speaker 1: no good. Yeah, he hates thunderstorms, he does. He You
- 14:00Speaker 1: talking about just getting somewhere and hiding, shutting off the
- 14:03Speaker 1: phone stuff. That's why I was brought up. I mean,
- 14:06Speaker 1: you sit down somewhere, let the Lord do his work.
- 14:08Speaker 1: My grandmother would be like, get the Bible. The lightning
- 14:15Speaker 1: sends me into a get off the phone. Yeah. Yeah.
- 14:21Speaker 1: My mom was the same way though. She would hide
- 14:23Speaker 1: in her closet in the back of her bedroom, sitting
- 14:26Speaker 1: in a chair in her closet. She was the exact
- 14:29Speaker 1: same way she hated thunder and lightning, feeling like we
- 14:32Speaker 1: could always find you no matter where you since the
- 14:38Speaker 1: term lightning. Alright, coming up, it is time for Junior's
- 14:41Speaker 1: Truth be Told. He's gonna tell us what that's all
- 14:45Speaker 1: about when we come back. And then, um, Reverend Adnoid,
- 14:51Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, coming up,
- 14:55Speaker 1: Reverend Alan Adnoid is in the building with today's call
- 14:59Speaker 1: and respon and he'll have a little help on that
- 15:02Speaker 1: from Deacon deaf Jam also in the building. But right
- 15:05Speaker 1: now Junior is here with Truth be Told. Junior. Yes, yes, morning, everybody, listen.
- 15:14Speaker 1: I've been thinking and I saw something that really made
- 15:20Speaker 1: me really really want to change careers. And I'm and
- 15:23Speaker 1: I'm telling you I'll probably be changing here in the
- 15:25Speaker 1: next month. Uh. Connor McGregor is fighting Floyd Mayweather. Yes,
- 15:32Speaker 1: and I think that's gonna be a really nice fight.
- 15:34Speaker 1: I really do. But Connor McGregor has never boxed. Never,
- 15:40Speaker 1: He's never what wait what, Yeah, he's never boxed, and
- 15:43Speaker 1: he's fighting Floyd Maywether, who was the greatest boxer of
- 15:46Speaker 1: his generation. He has never lost the fight. He's a brawler,
- 15:50Speaker 1: and I found out that Connor McGregor is making a
- 15:54Speaker 1: hunting million. Never fight Floyd and Mayweather, you can do that.
- 16:02Speaker 1: I'm not even trying to win here, people, I'm trying
- 16:05Speaker 1: to just get in the ring. If I get in
- 16:08Speaker 1: the ring, you can knock the hell out of me
- 16:12Speaker 1: hunting million dollars, because when I wake up, I'm quite
- 16:15Speaker 1: sure I'm rich. I can take the criticism if I
- 16:20Speaker 1: lose for a hunting millions. He didn't put up an effort. No,
- 16:23Speaker 1: I didn't, because when I woke up, I am rich.
- 16:29Speaker 1: The people talking about me don't have near as much
- 16:32Speaker 1: money as I do. What's wrong with this? I got
- 16:35Speaker 1: a good name and everything. When I step in the ring.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Junior jaw dropped space. Yeah, matter of fact, I would
- 16:46Speaker 1: have other people that I know come in and knock
- 16:48Speaker 1: me out after I come back through because one of
- 16:51Speaker 1: the sunrises. My bank account is different. I ain't even
- 16:54Speaker 1: want my stat sheet to even have a stat on it.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Four hunting million dollars watching I thought I was never
- 17:00Speaker 1: expected to win anyway, Get yourself together and go get
- 17:06Speaker 1: you a different career. I'm saying, I don't see why
- 17:10Speaker 1: everybody's tripping I think this is a good move for me.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Don't feel bad for me. I may have brain damage.
- 17:15Speaker 1: They don't matter how Floyd get a running start you
- 17:19Speaker 1: hit me. He could get a running start, and I
- 17:22Speaker 1: will hold my chin out for a hunting me. And
- 17:27Speaker 1: so you're not a sparring. You're just practicing getting in
- 17:30Speaker 1: the ring. Tim Let me tell you something. My pre
- 17:34Speaker 1: fight gonna look like I'm gonna win, though Brown. I
- 17:39Speaker 1: am over there rolling shoulder, But when they ring that bell,
- 17:42Speaker 1: I swear to you, I'm about to get knocked out.
- 17:45Speaker 1: And that's just the truth being told. For a hunt
- 17:47Speaker 1: and he's never boxed Floyd. You know you want some
- 17:51Speaker 1: of you. Come on, Floyd, that's what you won't All right,
- 17:58Speaker 1: let me go ahead and throw it on over. Man's
- 18:01Speaker 1: time to go ahead and talk to my boy man
- 18:03Speaker 1: thinking def jam. I thank you very much, Hunt a million.
- 18:08Speaker 1: I appreciate that it brings me. I must not love
- 18:13Speaker 1: to bring one to the stage. Who's going to bring

- 22:48Speaker 1: give you a call. There's been some conversation about it,
- 22:51Speaker 1: but wanted to give you a call about your appearance
- 22:53Speaker 1: in the office. Okay, okay, now you're you're your pearance
- 23:00Speaker 1: seems to be pretty much in tacts for your clothing
- 23:03Speaker 1: is concerned. So it's nothing that has nothing to do

- 23:35Speaker 1: you an actual doctor's appointment because we want to see
- 23:39Speaker 1: about helping you get a breast reduction. Oh what a break?

- 24:43Speaker 1: I ain't never had no problem with nobody telling me
- 24:46Speaker 1: some of my friend. So what you need to do
- 24:49Speaker 1: is find out who's going around here and making these rumors.
- 24:51Speaker 1: And first of all, I'm gonna dig up because maybe
- 24:53Speaker 1: one needs up in here talking about me and you know,
- 24:56Speaker 1: jealous because I'm on top of about and they're jealous
- 24:58Speaker 1: of me. Is I'm gonna you know, I want my

- 25:35Speaker 1: how adam? Because I'm gonna find whoever doing it because
- 25:38Speaker 1: they tell us I'm a bad They don't understand it.
- 25:41Speaker 1: And the man's come in and what whoo whoo? Will
- 25:43Speaker 1: they come to little? They come to my desk, ask little,
- 25:46Speaker 1: they ask for me mona, mona, I understand that. But

- 25:52Speaker 1: and I gotta get your breast brought down first. Low
- 25:54Speaker 1: whoever you are, you might need to come see. You
- 25:56Speaker 1: can sit to the front of my dead and see
- 25:59Speaker 1: how you look. You want to come back and bring

- 26:23Speaker 1: whoever you mean to go see. I ain't trying to
- 26:26Speaker 1: hear you hear what I'm gonna do. If they said
- 26:31Speaker 1: you would act like this, Mona, they said you would
- 26:33Speaker 1: react just this way. This is what the people in
- 26:35Speaker 1: the office are talking about. I don't give her down
- 26:37Speaker 1: what they'll be in this covert almost a year. Ain't
- 26:40Speaker 1: no nobody counting me telling me some about my friend.
- 26:43Speaker 1: What you need to do. First of all, you need
- 26:45Speaker 1: to come me and see me because you might like

- 29:45Speaker 1: Cat Graham, the lady who plays Jada Pinkett Smith, she
- 29:49Speaker 1: said that she before the movie, she contacted Jada Pinkett Smith.
- 29:53Speaker 1: You know, Jada Pinkett is a little upset about the
- 29:55Speaker 1: way relationship was depicted. But Cat Graham, the actress who
- 30:01Speaker 1: played Jada, says she contacted Jada and the producers to
- 30:05Speaker 1: make sure, you know, everybody was cool. And she said, uh,
- 30:08Speaker 1: Jada had nothing but support for her, And yeah, nothing
- 30:14Speaker 1: but support. You want to know what the problem is
- 30:31Speaker 1: with this movie? I liked the movie. Ms Anne is
- 30:35Speaker 1: gonna be here coming up, guys with national news. You're
- 30:38Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Miss
- 30:44Speaker 1: Anna standing by to give us the latest on tropical
- 30:47Speaker 1: Storm Cindy. Heavy rain pounding the Gulf coast right now.
- 30:51Speaker 1: She'll talk about that, but first, boy, this was disturbing, disturbing, disturbing.
- 30:56Speaker 1: I think the most disturbing story so far this week
- 30:59Speaker 1: and it's Thursday. Um. Recently, Minnesota cop officer Geronimo uh
- 31:05Speaker 1: Yanez was found out I found not guilty of killing
- 31:09Speaker 1: Philando Castile, an African American motorists in Minnesota. Remember this,
- 31:14Speaker 1: he was pulled over for a broken tail light. Now,
- 31:18Speaker 1: dash cam footage from uh Yanez's patrol car was publicly
- 31:22Speaker 1: released yesterday for the first time. Uh some of the
- 31:27Speaker 1: most disturbing UH footage ever. I mean, um, boy, this
- 31:33Speaker 1: was Yeah. To watch this, Yeah, to watch this. Man.
- 31:37Speaker 1: If they don't see what we see, I don't know how.
- 31:41Speaker 1: I don't know how you couldn't see how baby with
- 31:45Speaker 1: the baby in the car. Yeah, this was just anyway. Uh.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Stevie Wonder music legend Stevie Wonder recently spoke at the
- 31:56Speaker 1: Conference on Peace in Minneapolis, which focused on ending youth unviolent.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Stevie said, it's in your hands to stop all of
- 32:03Speaker 1: the killing and shooting wherever it might be, because you
- 32:07Speaker 1: cannot say black lives matter and then kill yourselves because
- 32:12Speaker 1: you know we've mattered long before it was said. But
- 32:15Speaker 1: the way we show that we matter, and the way
- 32:17Speaker 1: that we show all the various people of color matter
- 32:20Speaker 1: is by loving each other and doing something about it,
- 32:24Speaker 1: not just talking about it. Stevie also told the crowd
- 32:27Speaker 1: he's tired of seeing so many lives cut short. And um,
- 32:31Speaker 1: I mean you know, of course we all agree with
- 32:33Speaker 1: that we kill ourselves. And then I mean, you know,
- 32:37Speaker 1: we kill each other. I should say we kill each other.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Uh and then yeah, you know, yeah, because we do matter.
- 32:45Speaker 1: All lives matter, of course, Black lives matter. This this
- 32:48Speaker 1: film again was horrific and if you if your stomach,
- 32:52Speaker 1: if your heart can take it, I mean watch it.
- 32:55Speaker 1: I think it'll um if you were leaning the other way.
- 32:58Speaker 1: And if partner didn't even see it, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 33:01Speaker 1: he he actually picked up the little girl and took
- 33:04Speaker 1: her out, you know, away from the car and everything
- 33:07Speaker 1: on the film. Um, but oh my goodness, who the
- 33:10Speaker 1: partner dude? Yeah, he was yelling, get get the baby,
- 33:14Speaker 1: get the baby. It was I mean, you executed this
- 33:16Speaker 1: child's father and while she was in the car and
- 33:20Speaker 1: you remember his girlfriend, remember she was on Facebook live. Yeah,
- 33:27Speaker 1: And for the longest that was all we had, you know,
- 33:31Speaker 1: that's all we were able to go on and what
- 33:33Speaker 1: she was recording and what she was seeing. And then
- 33:36Speaker 1: this is released and it's just terrific to see it.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Just a little this little baby is going to be traumatized.
- 33:44Speaker 1: I mean for for what she saw and what she
- 33:48Speaker 1: lived through. She was pleading with her mom, please, mom,
- 33:51Speaker 1: just be quiet, and she said, I don't want you
- 33:53Speaker 1: to get shooted. I don't want you to get shooted,
- 33:56Speaker 1: you know, just please mommy. Yeah, it was It's just horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible,
- 34:02Speaker 1: And and he got off, the officer got off. I
- 34:04Speaker 1: just don't see him. Yeah, but we keep seeing this
- 34:08Speaker 1: over and over over and over and over again, over
- 34:13Speaker 1: and over and over again. Anyway, yeah, yeah, And and
- 34:18Speaker 1: what Stevie said was right. Okay, uh, as we move on, Tommy,
- 34:24Speaker 1: all right, it's that time we got national news with
- 34:26Speaker 1: the one and only miss A and Trip. Thanks guys,
- 34:29Speaker 1: thank you very much. This is a trip with the news. Okay,
- 34:32Speaker 1: let's start out with the storm. Tropical Storm Cindy has
- 34:35Speaker 1: made landfall this morning in southwestern Louisiana. The storm is
- 34:38Speaker 1: moving northward. Sad news in Alabama already, A ten year
- 34:42Speaker 1: old tourism Missouri was killed yesterday while vacationing in the
- 34:45Speaker 1: South Alabama on the South Alabama coast. What happened, a
- 34:48Speaker 1: long washed up in the rough surf and struck the
- 34:50Speaker 1: child and killed him close to roads and close from
- 34:54Speaker 1: now Louisiana to Florida the Panhandle this morning. The National
- 34:57Speaker 1: Weather Service says that Cindy is expected to move into
- 35:00Speaker 1: south eastern Arkansas by tomorrow morning and Tennessee by later
- 35:04Speaker 1: on Friday. The details of the Senate's new healthcare bill
- 35:07Speaker 1: still a secret, even to Republicans like Mike Lee of Utah,
- 35:10Speaker 1: and a lot of people ask me specifically when the
- 35:14Speaker 1: healthcare bill is going to be released to the public.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Why it isn't public. Uh. The short answer to the
- 35:18Speaker 1: question is, I haven't seen it yet either. Even though
- 35:21Speaker 1: I've been a member of this working group, I haven't
- 35:23Speaker 1: seen the bill. It's not being written by us. It's
- 35:26Speaker 1: apparently being written by a small handful of staffers for
- 35:30Speaker 1: members of the Republican leadership in the Senate. So if
- 35:32Speaker 1: you're frustrated by the lack of transparency in this process,
- 35:35Speaker 1: I share your frustration. I share it wholeheartedly. However, Senate
- 35:39Speaker 1: Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says that the details will be
- 35:42Speaker 1: known and soon. I expect to have a discussion draft
- 35:45Speaker 1: on Thursday, and we will go to the bill obviously
- 35:50Speaker 1: once we got a CBO score. Now the Congressional Budget
- 35:53Speaker 1: Office that's the CBO has to estimate the cost of
- 35:55Speaker 1: the plan and its efficiency. By the way, today is Thursday,
- 35:59Speaker 1: so we'll see GOP Congressman Steve Salice, who was shot
- 36:02Speaker 1: in Alexander, Virginia last week during practice for Republican versus
- 36:06Speaker 1: Democrats baseball game. Scalase now listed in fair condition. The
- 36:09Speaker 1: fifty one year old scolease the number three Republican, very
- 36:11Speaker 1: very good. Yeah that no one died. Uh. The gunman
- 36:15Speaker 1: you know, has been of course arrested. Uh, he was
- 36:18Speaker 1: and then killed. He died as well. Anyway, a six
- 36:21Speaker 1: six year old James Hodgkinson. They say didn't post any
- 36:23Speaker 1: online threats or have any terrorist ties, but if already
- 36:26Speaker 1: say he really digly disliked President Trump and other Republicans.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Scalase initially was in critical condition. He underwent a number
- 36:32Speaker 1: of surgeries. Doctors say he's now expected to recover, although
- 36:35Speaker 1: it'll take some time. Several other people were injured that
- 36:38Speaker 1: day and they are recovering. A former Milwaukee police officer
- 36:42Speaker 1: has been acquitted a first degree reckless homicide and the
- 36:45Speaker 1: death of a black man last year. Yeah, here we
- 36:47Speaker 1: go again. Dominick Hagen Brown, though is also African American
- 36:50Speaker 1: he fatally shot Silvo Smith after a brief footchase. Silvo
- 36:54Speaker 1: Smith's death sparked large street demonstrations in Milwaukee. Tyreek Smith
- 36:58Speaker 1: ranked as a number one fourth defensive tackle in the
- 37:00Speaker 1: class of eighteen or a very special T shirt to
- 37:03Speaker 1: Ohio States Camp this piece of this Weekend. It says,
- 37:06Speaker 1: I hope I don't get killed for being black today.
- 37:09Speaker 1: He said he wore the shirt to bring attention to
- 37:11Speaker 1: the epidemic of blacks being killed by the way. Terek
- 37:13Speaker 1: says a shirt designed by his brother. It's for sale
- 37:16Speaker 1: on Twitter direct message. You want to check it out,
- 37:18Speaker 1: check out my Facebook page and trip Okay, and today

- 37:37Speaker 1: the crew is in and coming up. We're gonna talk
- 37:40Speaker 1: about funny nicknames. If you know anyone with a funny nickname,
- 37:45Speaker 1: or or if you yourself that's my brother. If you yourself, Yeah,

- 38:36Speaker 1: Who's too much? You don't know? Baby? So anyway, let
- 38:48Speaker 1: me say this what it's down to me? And why
- 38:53Speaker 1: am I person for my audition? And I'm going in

- 39:56Speaker 1: you know what. You make that paper. But when you're
- 39:59Speaker 1: making that paper, you gotta learn some rules that go
- 40:01Speaker 1: with it. You gotta learn the difference between guns and bottom.
- 40:05Speaker 1: That's a difference the two types of negros in this world.
- 40:09Speaker 1: The negros with guns, the negros with bottom. Now what
- 40:12Speaker 1: are the guns? The guns that's the real estate. You know.

- 40:47Speaker 1: be baby boy. I ain't rehearsed with me coming, So
- 40:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna talk funny nicknames. Call us eight seven, Steve,
- 40:58Speaker 1: you're listening Hardy Morning Show. All right, this is a

- 41:17Speaker 1: we're gonna take phone calls. We have people on the line.

- 41:24Speaker 1: happy that he like, no, no, no, I'm gonna tell

- 41:41Speaker 1: about my eyes. They were about my eyes. Oh those

- 42:13Speaker 1: Has a little short story. I always wanted to drum
- 42:16Speaker 1: for Christmas, and some of my mom got me a drum. Now,
- 42:18Speaker 1: all my friends got bikes, so in order to hang
- 42:20Speaker 1: out with them, I wrote my sister's bike. They called
- 42:23Speaker 1: it the fish truck, henceforth the name fish. So that's
- 42:28Speaker 1: so if I go to South Carolina and I hear fish,
- 42:30Speaker 1: I know it's somebody that didn't know me real close.
- 42:34Speaker 1: And if you were ever to hang out with my brother, Yeah,
- 42:37Speaker 1: we were voting around. I did a show in prison
- 42:40Speaker 1: one time. I heard somebody said fish. One of my
- 42:42Speaker 1: friends was in jays got bubble lips big when I
- 42:54Speaker 1: was young. Yeah, but I knew a guy. I knew
- 43:02Speaker 1: a guy in my cousin's neighborhood. His was this is crazy.
- 43:06Speaker 1: His was peel back. And it took me a long time. Yeah,
- 43:11Speaker 1: it took me a long time until I asked my cousin.
- 43:13Speaker 1: I say, why y'all keep calling him the peel back down?
- 43:16Speaker 1: He ain't say, I'm saying. I'm like, oh my god,
- 43:18Speaker 1: how did that information? I didn't even ask that part.
- 43:22Speaker 1: I didn't. I could never beat my cousin up, so
- 43:25Speaker 1: I never questioned how you knew that? Let that go
- 43:30Speaker 1: by one. Let's go to Mohammed out of New York.
- 43:32Speaker 1: Our audience always wants to get in on it, you know, Mohamed,
- 43:37Speaker 1: Mohamed Mohammed, how how you doing this morning man? What's
- 43:43Speaker 1: your nickname? Nickname Strawberry? This is the same Mohammed that
- 43:51Speaker 1: you met before, but I did with the T shirts y. Yeah,
- 43:56Speaker 1: for the very reason why I wanted to call you.

- 44:01Speaker 1: a real close friend of mine from the mark were
- 44:04Speaker 1: too far before. He was the rough riters for all
- 44:06Speaker 1: of us. Had nickname big Blue, I mean bick Gluey.

- 44:14Speaker 1: nickname was nap Tun threw thiss Kyle really was threw
- 44:18Speaker 1: this that we had? Why was you niptune? We had
- 44:21Speaker 1: a Joey store in the market were to five back
- 44:23Speaker 1: in the day before j Jackson was what that my
- 44:27Speaker 1: rough riders for rough viters and comply. Yeah. We just
- 44:36Speaker 1: recently um had this throw and everything and we had
- 44:39Speaker 1: Memorial had problem Alicia kids performed and everything. So no family.
- 44:44Speaker 1: We thank you Mohammed pre Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Let's go
- 44:52Speaker 1: to line three, also out of New York. Good morning,
- 44:59Speaker 1: how you going? Good morning? I'm fine, How are you
- 45:02Speaker 1: were good? We're talking nicknames? Baby, what you got? My
- 45:05Speaker 1: nickname is Meatball? Meatball explain that. Well, it was a
- 45:12Speaker 1: chubby baby at a round face and a little round body.
- 45:15Speaker 1: And he looked at me. It's a meatballokey. Let me
- 45:22Speaker 1: tell you a quick story. I was taking my father
- 45:24Speaker 1: to the doctor and um, he was behind the scenes
- 45:27Speaker 1: and he had the nurse come out and say, meat ball,
- 45:30Speaker 1: is there a meatball here? Because he wanted me to
- 45:31Speaker 1: come back. You look up, got up cheapishly. I got
- 45:39Speaker 1: up in walks back there. He called my sister stumpy
- 45:41Speaker 1: because he's short. My other sister grandma, and I don't
- 45:44Speaker 1: know why he calls her grandma, but he does. He's
- 45:46Speaker 1: got nick. We got yeah, we got to get out
- 45:49Speaker 1: of here, all right. Never Tim's frank phone called coming
- 45:52Speaker 1: up right after this jam. You're listening, coming up at
- 45:58Speaker 1: the top of the hour. Write about four minutes after
- 46:01Speaker 1: the hour, get ready for today's Strawberry letter, the subject
- 46:06Speaker 1: I want to live out my fantasies. I want to
- 46:09Speaker 1: live out my fantasies. But up next, Come on, nephew, Tommy,
- 46:14Speaker 1: what you got for the prank? Phone called today? That
- 46:17Speaker 1: ain't my brother baby? Right there? That aggressiveness? That ain't
- 46:22Speaker 1: my brother baby? So much aggression? What did I say?
- 46:25Speaker 1: That ain't my brother baby? The baby don't need to
- 46:30Speaker 1: be seeing this. That's my brother he lived here. Don't
- 46:43Speaker 1: worry about it's something I need to take care. I
- 46:45Speaker 1: talked to man, I speak to Terry. My name is Darryl.
- 46:49Speaker 1: Damon is my brother. I don't live in Dallas where
- 46:51Speaker 1: y'all live. That I'm the one that live out of town.
- 46:54Speaker 1: But we didn't have a family meeting and talked about it.
- 46:57Speaker 1: And uh, I know Travis is your soon he eight
- 47:00Speaker 1: years old. But the problem is the reason why I'm
- 47:03Speaker 1: calling you, Uh, Terry is called. We didn't find out
- 47:07Speaker 1: that Travis ain't none of Damon's child. Excuse me, Travis
- 47:12Speaker 1: ain't none of damon child. He'd been paying you child
- 47:14Speaker 1: support here for the last eight hold on, and you
- 47:17Speaker 1: said your name was who I'm dare, I'm damon brother,
- 47:20Speaker 1: and who gave you this information? We we all have
- 47:23Speaker 1: found the information out. We actually gonna go down there
- 47:25Speaker 1: to the courthouse and get all this stuff rectified. But
- 47:27Speaker 1: we didn't find out that Travis ain't nothing, ain't none
- 47:31Speaker 1: of Damon's child. And he've been sitting up here sending
- 47:33Speaker 1: you money seven eight hundred dollars a month and this
- 47:36Speaker 1: child ain't even here. Now. I hate for Travis to
- 47:38Speaker 1: find this out, and he's gonna have to find it out.
- 47:40Speaker 1: But he ain't. Why are you calling me? Look, the
- 47:45Speaker 1: family din't had a meeting, and I'm the one that
- 47:47Speaker 1: they decided to make the phone call and tell you
- 47:49Speaker 1: what's going on. Now. You you, you don't have a
- 47:53Speaker 1: damn thing to do with this. You You ain't nobody
- 47:55Speaker 1: daddy over here. So I'm not sure what you're calling for.
- 47:58Speaker 1: Who God made you? Key wanted you to be here
- 48:01Speaker 1: in charge to call but that it's not gonna work out.
- 48:03Speaker 1: But let me why why are you doing this to
- 48:06Speaker 1: my brother? That's what I'm saying. For eight years, the
- 48:08Speaker 1: man have been sitting you seven hundred seven dollars a
- 48:10Speaker 1: month and and this ain't even his child, you know,
- 48:14Speaker 1: uh whim? Why am I even talking to you? I'm
- 48:17Speaker 1: not really sure your brother need to call me if
- 48:20Speaker 1: he has any problems with questions. You have a good dame.
- 48:26Speaker 1: You don't hang no damn phone up on me. Damon
- 48:29Speaker 1: told me in the last was hard headed anyway. Now
- 48:31Speaker 1: look you know what you got the wrong one, baby,
- 48:34Speaker 1: Like I'm trying to not lose all my religion today,
- 48:37Speaker 1: but you're about to make me lose it on your
- 48:40Speaker 1: You don't know who you over here? So, like I
- 48:42Speaker 1: said before, uh my fun your nephew that you're trying
- 48:46Speaker 1: not to claim over there. I don't know why you
- 48:48Speaker 1: came from wherever the here you said you came from
- 48:50Speaker 1: the downards to try to I came from California down
- 48:53Speaker 1: here to Dollar and I'm telling you need to take
- 48:55Speaker 1: your back come back to California because down here if
- 48:58Speaker 1: you don't know me like that, no, I don't know,
- 49:00Speaker 1: but I'm fending know you and TRAVI has been to
- 49:02Speaker 1: know that my brother ain't his daddy. I don't know.
- 49:05Speaker 1: You know what. You need to talk to your brother again.
- 49:07Speaker 1: That's what you need to do. And you don't need
- 49:08Speaker 1: to be talking to me. You've been to send us
- 49:10Speaker 1: all the money and my brother then set y'all. I
- 49:16Speaker 1: and when I do, Look when I said, when I
- 49:18Speaker 1: send all that eight years worth of money back, you're
- 49:21Speaker 1: gonna send every dime back because it belonged to my
- 49:23Speaker 1: brother that ain't my brother. Child. Now, we ain't got
- 49:25Speaker 1: time to be going on on Mari repover showing nothing
- 49:28Speaker 1: to find out who you know what? Like I said,
- 49:31Speaker 1: you picked the wrong want to be your best bed
- 49:33Speaker 1: not to call me anymore. You actually it is a

- 49:37Speaker 1: on my bro, you got you with to day, No
- 49:39Speaker 1: you go, that's my second thing I've been to do.
- 49:42Speaker 1: If we can't rectified over the file, I don't have
- 49:44Speaker 1: a problem coming over there knocking down some does and
- 49:47Speaker 1: getting some questions answered, because damn it, this ain't Damon's baby.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Obviously you must wish you with yours. So you're taking
- 49:53Speaker 1: for much entry now it ain't mine. But but it
- 49:56Speaker 1: ain't games either, and we got my head in and

- 54:15Speaker 1: season of Power. It premiers this Sunday night on Stars,
- 54:19Speaker 1: of course, and I know I can't wait. It looks
- 54:23Speaker 1: so good. It really really does. Yeah, all right, now,
- 54:29Speaker 1: oh uh, I don't think Yeah, I don't think either,
- 54:39Speaker 1: because we've heard about everything else in her life, right yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 54:44Speaker 1: I don't think so. Yeah. Oh boy, okay, it's quickly. Um.
- 54:53Speaker 1: A woman's grandmother was in the hospital, really wanted to
- 54:56Speaker 1: see her dog to her little granddaughter disguise the dog
- 55:00Speaker 1: is a baby, and brought her in, put a little
- 55:03Speaker 1: bonnet on the dog and everything, but the hospital had
- 55:06Speaker 1: a no pet policy. Yeah, it looked like she knocked
- 55:16Speaker 1: her in. She snuck her in. I love it. He's bad,
- 55:20Speaker 1: he's you can't say that. Strawberry letter coming up next.

- 55:39Speaker 1: to it. Buckle up and hold on tight, we got
- 55:41Speaker 1: it for you, Strawberry letter. Alright, thank you, nephew. Subject.
- 55:46Speaker 1: I want to live out my fantasies. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 55:50Speaker 1: I have been married for two years. I love my
- 55:54Speaker 1: wife with everything inside of me, and I want to
- 55:57Speaker 1: spend the rest of my life with her. Her. She
- 56:01Speaker 1: is an amazing mother and wife. We have a great
- 56:04Speaker 1: sex life. My problem is that I want more. I
- 56:09Speaker 1: want to be in an open relationship or at least
- 56:12Speaker 1: a swinging couple. I've had this desire for a long time,
- 56:17Speaker 1: and I don't want to live the rest of my
- 56:18Speaker 1: life and not be satisfied. I want to live out
- 56:23Speaker 1: my fantasies. I don't think my wife would go for it.
- 56:27Speaker 1: I'm afraid that if I tell her my true feelings
- 56:30Speaker 1: she would I feel like she's not enough woman for
- 56:33Speaker 1: me sexually. Sometimes I feel like I'm way too freaky
- 56:38Speaker 1: because I would like to have several sexual encounters with
- 56:42Speaker 1: women and men. I would like to have sexual encounters
- 56:45Speaker 1: with women and men. I don't want a relationship with
- 56:48Speaker 1: others just sex. What should I do? Please help me?
- 56:54Speaker 1: M I think if i'm I think Mdia had a
- 56:58Speaker 1: movie about this. It's called why did I get married? Okay,
- 57:03Speaker 1: that's what it's called. And so I ask you the
- 57:06Speaker 1: same question, why did you get married? Why? Why? Why
- 57:09Speaker 1: would you do this to yours too? It's not not
- 57:11Speaker 1: to yourself but to your wife? Okay, you know you
- 57:15Speaker 1: need to be single. That that's that's the point in
- 57:18Speaker 1: this whole letter. You writer of this letter man that's
- 57:22Speaker 1: been married, uh for for two years, who loves his
- 57:25Speaker 1: wife with everything inside of him and wants to spend
- 57:27Speaker 1: the rest of his life with her. She's an amazing
- 57:30Speaker 1: woman and wife. You've had great sex, but you want
- 57:33Speaker 1: an open relationship that doesn't go together. That doesn't go together.
- 57:39Speaker 1: You need to be free to be freaky. Okay, that's
- 57:43Speaker 1: what you need. You can be as free as you
- 57:46Speaker 1: as free as you want to be, to be freaky
- 57:48Speaker 1: with whoever you want to be freaky with. I mean,
- 57:50Speaker 1: I just think it's yeah, I think it's I think
- 57:56Speaker 1: it's so unfair to your wife to expect her to
- 57:59Speaker 1: be a part of this. I mean, you know you
- 58:01Speaker 1: could have laid this out for her before you guys
- 58:03Speaker 1: took the vows. Okay, because you take the vows to
- 58:06Speaker 1: love each other, it doesn't say anything about you know,
- 58:10Speaker 1: any open relationship or or or living out your fantasies,
- 58:15Speaker 1: your sexual fantasies and anything like that. I think your
- 58:18Speaker 1: wife is Um, you kind of got her in a
- 58:20Speaker 1: trick bag with this one. Um. You know, no one
- 58:23Speaker 1: gets to do whatever they want to do sexually when
- 58:26Speaker 1: they're married. I mean, yeah, you have fantasies, but anyway,
- 58:30Speaker 1: I just think it's unfair to your wife. And what
- 58:32Speaker 1: should you do? Uh? Yeah, tell your wife and see
- 58:36Speaker 1: how she feels. I uh suspect she will walk out
- 58:40Speaker 1: at this point because she can't. You're right, she can't
- 58:43Speaker 1: compete with this. She there's nothing. She can't keep up
- 58:45Speaker 1: with all of this. You need to be single. Why
- 58:48Speaker 1: did you get married? Jay? First of all, he's already
- 58:52Speaker 1: doing what he wrote about. That's already being done. And
- 58:56Speaker 1: if you're doing what you wrote about before you wrote
- 58:59Speaker 1: about it, I hope you're out there practicing safe sex.
- 59:04Speaker 1: Please you don't want to take that to the house,
- 59:06Speaker 1: then you will have something to explain. Okay, you know
- 59:09Speaker 1: what I'm saying. It's like sometimes you said you want
- 59:12Speaker 1: that extra piece of pie, and you already had the pie.
- 59:16Speaker 1: So you can't bring your wife into this. Just do
- 59:19Speaker 1: what you've been doing. Keep it to yourself, keep your
- 59:23Speaker 1: mouth shut, and enjoy your life. Just do what you've
- 59:29Speaker 1: been doing, keep it to yourself, keep your mouth shut.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Everybody ain't got to know what you're doing. Well, now
- 59:38Speaker 1: it's mill. People know, they don't know who this guy.
- 59:43Speaker 1: This guy could be somebody at the bank. Man, because
- 59:45Speaker 1: your wife is not going for this at all at all. Yeah,
- 59:51Speaker 1: he needs to be free to be freaky, okay, because
- 59:53Speaker 1: if you tell her, not necessarily, if you tell her,
- 59:57Speaker 1: she's out. You can be freaking man. Let me get
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: straight on that, but not like this. I'm talking about
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: open relationships. You know, several parts at that point. You're right,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: so at some point some of us gonna come to
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: the house. Yeah, this is no. Yeah, you need to
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: be freaking free, all right. Come on, This is another
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: case here of a possible selfish woman. That's what to see.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: This is another case of a possible selfish woman. The
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: man is the heat, and he must lead now wherever
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: he takes you. That's where you go. What if he
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: leads you to a swingers party, then you do what
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: your man did, all right. Your man has a freaky
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: bucket list, and there's some things on it. He got
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: to get checked off. You got to say, you know what,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: I'm with my man. I'm riding with my man. Cannot
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: believe the level of stupidity. We've been saying it every day.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Let me ask you too late? Is something? Is your
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: man your husband's the head of your house? Yes? Do
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: you follow your husb he leaves now? If he's walking
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: down the sets to see you got these little conditions,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: that's that's long. Let me say this. Let me say this.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: It always makes sense, It always likes sense. But even
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: if it don't make sense to you, then you should
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: steal follow your man. And if your man say, get
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: your ass we're going somewhere, we're gon and go hang
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: out to night. And you just happened to be at
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: a party and the gathering and everybody's having a good
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: time and there's some drinks flowing and some orders moving around,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: and then all of a sudden people start taking clothes off.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: Guess what. It's not time for you to run out
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: and say maybe no, no. But if your man started
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: pulling his shirt off, hello, he I don't think so.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: All I'm saying is I hope you got to ride home.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: I'm saying I'll take my shirt off and she don't
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: take hairs off right after me. We got a problem
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: here with the with the union. What did it say?
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: What God has bringing together? Letting? No, man, what what
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: don't you I'm not I'm just not. I'm just saying
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: we're not gonna use it when it's just convenient. Come
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: on now watching because I'm going somewhere right to the
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: swing of club. When I swing, you swing just like that.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: When I swing, you swing like that, you swing back
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: toward me. Swing. Oh my god, I want to get
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: freaky with you. Okay. Part two of the Nephew's response.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: We're gonna hear from the young one to uh after
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, back
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: to this crazy letter. But first coming up at forty
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: one after the hour from our favorite TV show you

- 1:03:58Speaker 1: uh Shell Underwood is on deck too to come up.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: But let's get back to this letter. Part two of
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letter. It is called the subject I want
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: to live out my fantasies. Now listen. If you have
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: a problem, if you have a relationship issue, you do
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: want to email us those at Steve Harvey dot com.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: He wants some advice from Steve and I, uh, we're
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: here to help. So go to Steve Harvey dot com
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: and send us those letters. Yes, we are all right,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: remember yeah, subject, I want to live out my family's
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: I'll read my fantasies. I'll recap quickly. Uh, this is
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: from a young man. I'm assuming he's a young man.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: He's been married for two years. He he loves his wife,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: he says with everything in him, she's great. He wants
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: to spend the rest of his life with her. They
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: have a great sex life. All of that, I mean,
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: all the bells and whistles, is a wonderful marriage. Except
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: for one thing he has a problem with. He just
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: doesn't get enough sex. He wants an open relationship, he
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: wants to swing, and he wants to have with women men.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: He's just way too freaky just to have one person. Yeah. So, um,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: he doesn't know what to do and he doesn't want
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: to tell his wife because he's afraid his wife or
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: leave him if he tells tells her and you know
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: she will she will. Yeah, all right, agree, Come on, nephew,
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: wrap up, and we want to hear from the young
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: one on the crew to last, not least, what you
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: should do. Brother, Sometimes you have to shock your woman
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: into something. Just take her to want of easy events
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: and just not let her know this is what's going
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: on and just shock it into it. And that's what
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: is she gonna follow you? Man, I promise you. Just
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: just do what you got to do. Do what you
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: got to do. This from one player to another player,
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: do what you got to do. Trying to live out
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: your bucket list. This how you go in. That's an
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: age limit on being a player, and you've passed that.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: I just want to let you know the out of
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: the mouth of babes what you got junior. Did y'all
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: not hear me on the first part? What you said? Nothing?

- 1:06:13Speaker 1: don't have these feelings. I don't know what to tell you.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: I can relate to it. I have been in some
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: encounters and some things I popped off. I didn't like it.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: It should be limitations, so sick, hold on, hold on,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: wait just a minute, wait a minute, Wait a minute.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: So back in the nineties with me and you left
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: the comedy club and we wind up. Shut up, Tommy,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: he shut up, shut up. You look back over at me.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: We was high five? What what we was doing? Something
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: else that wasn't us missing? Just two people are missing
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: the bottom line. What should he do? Don't tell your wife.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: Don't tell you what she's leaving. She's you know she's not.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: You need to be single if you want to be
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: this freaky all right, we was in l a Junior quiet,
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: all right, yeah, go to we gotta get out of here.

- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter and my girl surely so so come on,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: Jay introduced our girl from the Talk Chryl Underwood. Yea,
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: give it up on stage Jay on comedy Stagey, let's go, Cheryl.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Let's hey, look, I'm gonna need you to come on
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: after the star doman me just like I wouldn't it
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: be wild if we all went on tour did our
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: own will be so cool? Me? Tommy Junior closing, Oh,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: you can go close close, Let's just go get the checks.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: People right on, right on. You know what they always say,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: it's favorite Nations. And I will be fellowship with with
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: my sorrosers. AATA five Beta will be in the Birmingham, Alabama,
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Hoover area because I'll be at the start them. But
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: on Saturday afternoon we'll be with the SUTs at five Beta. Now,
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: I got a whole bunch of things I want to
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: talk about, so I'm gonna dispatch the serious stuff first
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: because we're gonna clown at the end. Now, everybody talking
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: about how mad we both be about Bill Cosby, and
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: they always want to use black people when it's somebody
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: black first, About anybody mad about Bill Cosby? Just because
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: twelve people couldn't get together tend um and say guilty.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Two of them say, I don't know what's going on.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: That's right, I ain't mad. Ain't nobody mad about Bill Cosby.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: It is what it is when we're mad about is
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: when a Hispanic cop and a black cop kill black men.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: They're found not guilty, and the only thing they lose
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: is their jobs. If we don't start putting police in jail.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: They will never understand that when you take a life
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: outside of that color of authority. You will lose your
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: your freedom just like any other person that goes up
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: against the state and my right brothers, and that's right.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: We want good police. That's what ice Cube was saying.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: When ice Cube was on BI on My show and
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: he got in that I'm sorry call out about to
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: say a word bill show. He talked about that black
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: people want good police. We want police with integrity. We
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: are not anti police, We are anti people that go
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: above that badge and my right brothers. Okay, I'm about
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: to preach on the fact that George Clooney and Cindy
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Crawford Amanda made a billion dollars off off Conya the Rock.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: Thank you. Let's start brewing it up, brothers, and because
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: thinking that we need to be making it something last
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: but not least, what the else going on with our
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: shoting the selfie he took. Have you gotta see it? Listen,
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: Let let me tell some I've had sex with a
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: lot of little boys, but they have always been get
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: with out shopping because he could teach me how the
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: lout way. Dick Gregory called and said, you need to
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: take all of my diet and stopped playing. If our
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: shot can get my stuffing to go down. We can
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: get barried. We lit the hair mine just missing at
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: the top in the middle shop and Rick Ross get
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: together them wins me really really good. Come out, get
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: with me, baby. I'm gonna put some meat on them bones.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: You got all right? Thank you, Cheryl. We love a girl. Actress,
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: Notori noting Tasha st. Patrick from Power on Stars is
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: coming up next. We'll be back. You're listening to Steve
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, we gotta have a drum
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: roll for this one. We got to you already ready, y'all.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: Don't understand. This is this is mine right here, this
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: is what I watch. All right, y'all. Here we gonna
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: the highly anticipated new season new season of the stars
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: hit drama Power. It kicks off Sunday, June. Power, as
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: you know, is centered around a drug kingpin, King Pen.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: He's struggling to get legit in New York City. Night
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: Like last season ended with some cliffhangers, so we can't
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: wait to see what unfolds this season. Jordan us Now
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: is a dynamic actress that stars as Tasha st. Patrick
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: on Power. Put your Hands Together. The one and Only
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: Miss Ntori Notton Thank you, Oh my god. I can't
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: wait for the show man. Thank you all for having me.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: It's going down, you guys return on Sunday Night on Stars.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: Last season, uh ended with some Cliffhangers Ghosts played by
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: Amari Hartwick, who the girls love so much. Yeah she's married. Yeah,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: but you know the Fellas over here, we love us.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: That's right, I love I love to Yeah. Yeah. Last
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: season ended on a on a crazy you know, I
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: think Cliffhanger Ghosts is arrested by his mistress and also
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: fed Angela. You know, yes, um, she thinks that he
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: killed Greg. It's a whole thing, and this season is
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: going to kind of pick up right where were left off.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: I can't wait for people to see because I think
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: it's going to be a really powerful, exciting ride. It's
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: gonna be a little scary, so just I would say,
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: get ready because season four is gonna blow your mind. Listen, wait, wait, wait,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: hold on the Tory make no mistake. We are a team, Tasha, please,
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: thank you, Oh never never, never, and baby, when you
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: checked her at the apartment building in the lobby, boom, yeah,
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: we were right there with you, were right there in
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: my hands. Yes, can we expect Tasha to try to
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: get her family back together. Can we expect that? I mean,
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: that's all that she really has been trying to do.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: She definitely wants you know, Tarik is missing. She you know,
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: he he's acting crazy out there. We came in and
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: you know, I need to make sure that my kids
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: are saying. I don't know if Tasha's focus is as
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: much about ghosts and the family together, doesn't mean that
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: they have to be together. I think she's just trying
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: to keep you know, give the kids some foundation and
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: some stability. So Ghosts he's been running around with Angela
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: is so long that I think Tasha is tired of
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: trying to beg him to get it together. I think
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: she's ready to kind of figure herself out and live
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: her own life. How many times do you have people
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: come up to you in the street and go you
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: just wrong for that? Now you're just wrong? Oh my goodness.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: People people are so passionate. They kill me and I
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: live in New York so you know it's a New
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: York City show. They're like, uh, you don't got the
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: driver killed and met ghost. I mean, they have so
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: many don't they believe the that's but that's the sound
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: of a good show. And really that point. His name
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: is josephs Achord, the one that plays Tommy. Man. He
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: can so scary, but he's so sweet in real life. Yeah,
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: it's so funny. We're nothing like our character, right because
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: you know him and Ghosts are at odds right now.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: So Tommy, you know that is he finally gonna be
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: in control since ghost is in jail now, he's gonna
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: step up and definitely be in control. Tasha had to
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: step up to actually Tommy and just my TV girlfriend.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: I said, hey, you're funny. Yes they yeah, is wrong?
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: So um yeah, I know it's gonna be an interesting
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: interesting right. You can't wait. I cannot wait this Sunday. Yeah,
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: but I gotta ask for this La is she dad?
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: I can't answer. I know everybody wants to know where
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: the kisaid we you will see episode one. It will
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: be revealed. I can't give it all away, but I'm
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: just you know, I'm not gonna let my best friend
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: and go go out like that. And La is such
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: a great job. We love the characters and it's just
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: good for Tasha to have you know, her roll dog,
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: her her Ace and that's a lukisha. So we'll see
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: what happens, right, No more, I know? And oh yeah,
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: it's that. That show is so good. The act real good.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: It's so real. It's so I mean, you guys really
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: are believable in what you're doing in those roles. You
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: really believe. I have us believe in it, and I
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: know he has him. He's so good is Kane. And
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: it's causing people to be upset. Yeah yeah, but he's
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: doing a great job. And this season you're really not
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: gonna like kanean this year. Is he a good boss? Notori?
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: Is he? Because I know he's executive producers here? Oh yeah, yeah,
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: he's a great boss. He's fun to have on set.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: He's really genuine and a pleasure. So I enjoy working
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: with fifties. It's a great it's a great energy that
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: he brings. Good And we gotta get we have to
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: get you guys nominated for some Emmys too. How about that?
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: What I'm gonna call them and let them know. This
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: fourth season, come on, this show was excellent. Yeah, it's
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: so good. You're pregnant. How's that going? It's going good?
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: I can't complain. And eight months and one more months ago. Okay, well,
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: a happy, healthy delivery, and we wish you all the
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: best and we will be watching this Sunday and every
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: episode thereafter as long as you guys really appreciate it.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: I hope y'all. I hope y'all stick it out. Don't
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: get mad at me, don't all day Yeah, baby Tasha. Alright,
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: Power returns this Sunday, June nine pm, eight Central on Stars.

- 1:19:20Speaker 1: this is really my show, Shirley. I love this, I
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: love it. It's been so good lately. Yes, it was
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: so good. Okay, So me me cannot stand Joscelyn. She
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: really really can't stand. Yes, she told her baby daddy
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: is Stevie J, that she doesn't want their daughter Eva
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: all around Jocelyn. I want to round to no, Mimi
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: told Jocelyn. And you don't need that voice. Somebody told
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: her mom that she spent some time with her dad
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: and Jocelyn. I remember the girls were on this trip
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: to Jamaica. They were on their girls getaway. Baby girl,
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: MEMI packed our bags, left Jamaica, went to Atlanta to
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: put a protective order in against Jocelyn. And if you
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: want to know what happened, why does Mimi just can't
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: stand Jocelyn so much? Last year it was kind of
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: like a sick attempt to get revenge, Joscelyn put out
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: on social media allegations that Stevie J molested his seven
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: year old daughter Eve. You don't you know that's Mimi's daughter,
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: So MEMI, yeah, that's Mimi's salty. She's not having it.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: She doesn't want Jocelyn around her daughter Stevie. You know
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: he has other daughters as well, and his oldest one
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: of his older daughter, Savannah. She was very upset with
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: Jocelyn and what she did. She can't forgive her for
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: lying about her father and sister and Josh and Savannah
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: went off on Joscelyn. Jocelyn apologized for what she said,
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: but it was too late. Savannah was not hearing when
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: behind on this show. Yeah, well it got close, Savannah.
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: She wasn't no humility at all about what she said. Um,
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: and also looks like you know the whole secret baby
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: drama with Kirk. You know that whole thing, uh, the
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: baby mother Jasmine, she is now going to take a
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: DNA test to prove to her current boyfriend that her
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: ex boyfriend Logan is not the father of her baby
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: and Kirk, who is married to Rashida, is the father
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: of her baby. That's what she is. One more time,
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: Jasmine has to take a DNA test to prove to
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: her current boyfriend that her ex boyfriend Logan is not
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: the father of her baby. And she is claiming that Kirk,
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: who is married to Rashida, is the alleged father of
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: her basic. Yes, so now you're all caught up with
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: loving hip hop Atlanta, Let's move on. According to page six,
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: Kenya MOR's husband has been revealed. We finally know if
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: you guys didn't know, Kenya More from Real Housewives of
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: Atlanta is married and she tied the knot with Marcus
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: Days a restaurant in Brooklyn, and Kenya said on her
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: social media post, you are the best man I've ever
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: known than loving me unconditionally. My Rada died. Bonnie and
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: Clyde hash she didn't get married on the show. I
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: don't know man been after her? You need protection? Well,
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: speaking of that, Junior, Speaking of that, just one more thing.
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: That judge has granted Kenya a one year restraining order
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: against her ex boyfriend Matt Jordan. Yeah, yeah, so this
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: you know. She had a temporary restrainting order against Matt
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: back in April. Jordan's Matt Jordan is to stay at
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: least two hundred yards away from Kenya Moore and her
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: family her new hunts. Do people know when they two
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: hundred yards? Did you walk that off? How do you
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: know when you far in when you not gonna get
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: in trouble? Get back get that. Yeah, imagine. Alright, moving
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: on from the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Last week during
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: reality Update, um, I told you about Bachelor's in Paradise.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: You remember the contestant, rand Olympios, who is white. She
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: said that she was a victim of sexual assault from
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: a fellow castmate. His name was Damario Jackson. He's a brother.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: Now Warner Brothers, they shut down production to conduct a
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: sexual assault investigation. Well, the investigation is complete. The cast
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: of Bachelor's in Paradise is headed back to Mexico after
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: producers say the show will resume filming. Now, the brother
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: de Mario Jackson has been asked to return to Bachelor
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: in Paradise after Warner Brothers found no evidence of edge
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: ms cod Yes, thank you, yes. Yes. However, Jackson he
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: feels that damage has been done and last week he
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: said that he had been defamed by false accusation and
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: claim that he lost his job as a result, because
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: remember they did fire him and they weren't even finished
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: with the investigation. But they have, yeah, they have asked
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: him to come back. And then this is kind of interesting.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: There's an article on CNN and there this writer said
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: that there is this racist stereotype that persists that black
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: men are criminal and that their sexuality poses a threat
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: to white women, and so you know, yeah, to do
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: that every day. Yeah, breaking news here. Yeah, we we
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: kind of talked about this. J We were talking about
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: this too last week when this story, uh, when we
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: found out about this story that um uh, you know,
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: when we learned that Karen was white and Damario Jackson
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: was black, you know, and then now that the investigation
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: is over and they found no misconduct, and it's like, okay,
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: we go back to the show. Well wait a minute,
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: this was damaging, but now it's back. They invited him back.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: It's uncle. It's unclear whether she will return. I couldn't
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: find information to see I think she said no, I
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: think she says she will. Yeah. I was kind of
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: trying to look that up to see if she was
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: going to return. And her lawyer still want to conduct
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: an investigation because they have all these witnesses that didn't
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: come forth before. Yeah, you're all caught up. That's reality
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: update with your girl, Carla. But the minute I didn't
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: get to go ahead, Lyn, did you're listening to show? Oh, Tommy,
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: do I have a story for you? But I'm not
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: going to do it right now. I'll do it in
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: a minute story a story for you though. I'll tell
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: you about this one first. Think about this Instagram college.
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: Instagram college. Just just let that marinate for a moment.
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: A university in China is offering courses. This isn't the
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: one for you, Tommy. A university in China is offering
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: courses on how to become a social media star. This
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: is a college course, now, okay, yeah, and this and
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: this stop at jay and this is serious business. It
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: may seem crazy, but this fashion entrepreneur and blogger has
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: earned forty six million dollars. He earned that back in
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: two thousand and sixteen. His name is zang Uh, more
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: than China's top actresses. Um yeah, since going to college.
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: Moving on, Okay, alright, moving on. This isn't the one
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: for you either, Tommy. Here's a question. Do you spend
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: more time with Facebook than your friends or you know,
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: being on social media or whatever than your friends even
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: when you're together. Uh, It says ignoring your real life
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: friends right in front of you because you're busy with
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: social media has become such a problem and a common
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: practice now that there's even a name for it. It's
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: called um well, I'll get to that in a minute.
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: But psychological researchers from the University of Kent have dubbed
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: this fubbing bubb you heard me subbing. It's called phone Yeah,
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: it's called phone snubbing. Phone snubbing, also known as phone
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: So with your friends, you're just ignoring them and you're
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: on your phone. Yeah, you can't do that. Knock your
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: phone out your hand. And phone snubbing. Yeah, it is
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: the practice of focusing on your phone instead of the
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: friends sitting around the table with you. Well, we're so
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: connected to the phone. That really unbelievable. The old picture,
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: back in the day, when people get to finished with sex,
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: it would smoke. Now grab your phone, you grab your phone, yeah,
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: and send somebody a text. He was terrible again. All right, Tommy,
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: I love you. Kids. Get together like my daughter when
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: they had played eight, these kids look at each other,
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: they beg for the parents to get them together, and
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: then they on their phone the entire Yes. Yeah, play
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: is different. Yes, it's crazy, It really, really really is crazy.
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: Right now. All right, Tommy, this one's for you. I
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: don't know if you've done this before, but we travel
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: a lot. We all travel a lot. We have to
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: you know, uh, live in hotels when we travel, right,
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: we have to stay there. Um, don't take a bath
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: in your hotel room. Don't do that. Don't do that, Tommy,
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: this one's for you. Get ready. This this is cringe
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: worthy though. According to a study, if you're soaking in
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: a hotel tub, you're pretty much soaking in bacteria and
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: cleaning chemicals. The fact is that housekeeper sponges their mops,
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: the same ones used to clean the hotel bathroom. They
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: put all that in the tub, and the tubs are
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: full of germs. So do not take a bath in
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: a hotel room. And Tommy is such a germophobe that
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: I knew this story would just creep them out. Yeah,
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: I have taken I have taken a bath with socks home.
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: I have student a shower with sox phone. Alright, alright,
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: coming up, we're gonna talk more about tropical storm Cindy.
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: We'll be back with an update. Okay, you're listening to alright.
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: In our effort to keep you updated and informed about
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: what's going on in the country, in the world, especially
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: right now with this um tropical storm Cindy. Uh here
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: we go. Gulf States were in for a third day
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: of rough weather as tropical storms Cindy slashed ashore early
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: today in southwestern Louisiana. Already blamed for one death in Alabama,
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: Cindy was expected to keep churning seas and spinoff bands
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: of severe weather from eastern Texas to northeastern Florida. The
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: storm's maximum sustained winds had increased to nearly uh forty
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: miles per hour this morning, with additional weekend weekending expected,
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: the U S National Hurricane Center has said. Louisiana Governor
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: John Bell Edwards declared a state of emergency along with
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: Alabama mon Knoxville, Tennessee. The power generating Tennessee Valley Authority
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: said it was drawing down water levels on nine lakes
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: it controls along the Tennessee River and its tributaries in Tennessee, Alabama,
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: and Kentucky, anticipating heavy runoff from Cindy's rains. So there
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: you go. Yeah, she's still doing her thing. Tropical Cindy.
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: Tropical storms Cindy. Yeah. I think when people hear about
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: tropical storms and hurricanes, they think about, oh, well, it's
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: not windy outside, so you know, if the winds aren't
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: that bad, they think that the storm is not as
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: bad as forecasters have predicted. But when it comes to
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: that rain and that downfall and flooding, you have to
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: you have to listen to the officials, the state officials,
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: your local officials about being safe and having your supplies.
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: You know, just from experience myself. You know, I was
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: I don't know j if you know that, but yeah,
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: I was in katrain of my husband and he's from
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: the Orleans. And there's just some basic things as we
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: kick off hurricane season. I mean, this is the third
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: season of the third storm of the season, and it's
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: just what June, the third week in June. So there's
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: some things you just have to remember, you know, to
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: be prepared in batteries and water and non imperishable food items.
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: Keep your phone charge if a storm is coming in
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: you think you might lose power, the medication formula for
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: babies and diapers, all these supplies, and cash. Keep cash
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: on hand, you know, because of you know, you may
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: not be able to get to an ATM machine. So
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: make sure you listen to your local authorities and uh,
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: don't tune them out. I mean, I remember last year Louisiana,
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: southwestern Louisiana, it was a lot of flooding in the
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: Late Charles area and it wasn't a hurricane. It was
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: just rain, A lot of rain, a lot of flooding
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: along that it in quarter. So make sure you gotta
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: stay safe, be prepared, becare of full. Yeah, all of that,
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: and and most of all, stay prayed up to you
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: know that never hurt, that never hurts, never heard. Um. Okay,
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: So we've had the h the All Eyes on Me
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: Tupac movie, so possibly coming to a theater near you.
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: Next will be Two Live Crew. Remember Two Live Crew. Yeah,
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: Hell Luke and then Luke and then Li. Lion's Gate
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: is signed on to produce a biopic on the group.
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: The working title is The Book of Luke. It's based
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: on Luca cambell uh It's based on his memoir The
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: Book of Luke, My Fight for Truth, Justice and Liberty City.
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: Craig A. Williams is reportedly writing the script for the
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: Book of Luke, which is described as straight out of
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: Compton meets the People of the People versus Larry Flynn.
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: Mike Epps has also signed to produce the film. So
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: there you go. Rate it. On the third night, we'll
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: be back. Yeah, this coming up, our last break of
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: the day. We'll be back to a close out of
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: the show. Just one more thing coming up. You're listening
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Uh, this is
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: our last break of the day. Boy this day. Yeah,
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: it's time for just one more thing, just one more thing. Uh.
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: The announcement of Floyd Mayweather Connor McGregor the fight has
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: been the talk of Vegas. It's actually been the talk
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: of this show because we're trying to figure out how
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: can we be down or Yeah, we want to go
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: see it. I'm not training on nothing, a hundred million dollars,
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: no experience necessary, y'all. Don't want to side of this.
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: Going to get night, going to get knocked off. When
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: I came through, your will is on in order, Junior,
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: j When I come through, you can't tell me nothing. Yeah,
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: but that's when you catch him, Junior. You catch maywelling
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: your hook and real tight and whispering and looking at him,
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: and two to the head and one town you grab them.
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: You say, you get your chicken, got I'm about to
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: get mine. Mayweather is gonna return to the ring at
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: age forty. Uh, he has confirmed a boxing match against
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: twenty eight year old Connor McGregor. You're right. The talk
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: is that Connor will get a hundred million, and I
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: think Mayweather stands to to to the purse for him
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: is three hundred million. My god, I love it though.
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: Um anyway, here's here's the other thing that we didn't
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: know about the fight through all this noise, one other
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: event has been lost in the mix. Uh. The August
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: fight has been scheduled on the same night get this
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: guy's as Ice Cubes Big Three Basketball League. Oh and
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: both are scheduled at the T Mobile Arena. Yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: So this could be No, this could be a bit inconvenient,
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: Cube says. However, the businessman that he is, he's perfectly
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: willing to give up the venue if the price is right. Okay,
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: he is a businessman, he says. He says. If they
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: do what they're supposed to do and make us happy, yeah,
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: we'll move. Yeah. Thing as though this fight looks to
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: bring in hundreds of millions of dollars, Like we said,
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: we're thinking they could really afford this. Here, here, and here,
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: which one would you choose to fight or I love,
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: but I'm going to the fight. I'm choosing the fight
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: like Alan, I'll gonna miss that. Yeah, yeah Mayweather though. Yeah,
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: Connor mocked Mayweather's age. I told you he was forty
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: by attaching a photo of floyd sixty four year old
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: father and uh yeah. This is when he confirmed on
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: Twitter that the matches on. He mocked his age by
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: attaching a picture of Floyd's dad. Fans retweeted the image
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: nearly two hundred thousand times. I guess they thought it
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: was funny or something. Yeah, this should be interesting because
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: I didn't know who this guy Connor was is when
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: you worked up with Amnesia Hunt. So he's a mixed
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: martial artist. Yes, he's never boxed before before, right, never never.
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: He's good, he's good mixing the sports like this. No boxing,
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: it's exciting. Yeah, differ and why is it exciting? Why
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: is it exciting because people get beat up? Why? Yeah,
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: he is. He's going up against the twenty eight year
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: old though that has no boxing experience, and you're gonna
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: get in the ring. Good look for Floyd. You're gonna
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: get in the ring with one of the best pound
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: for pound fighters. In the world then happen though undefeated,
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: don't forget Yeah that barbag night, Hey anything? Neither one
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: of them were fighters? Are they both going to get
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: this money? I will to change I want Connor McGregor
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: is not even expected to win the fight. Oh so
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: he's gonna get a hunted me for no expectations for
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: showing up, just for showing to change your career. Yeah,
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: why not getting the ring? Get a hunted me? Knocked
- 1:38:49Speaker 1: me out? Basically you got nixed. That's what you're saying.
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: I won't floyd right after, I won't flow it right after.
- 1:38:57Speaker 1: It doesn't that kind of taint the sport there, he's
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: just doing it for Yes, yes it does. You all
