- 0:00Speaker 1: So is it time to bury the GOP establishment and
- 0:04Speaker 1: start something new. Senator Josh Holly, a Republican from Missouri,
- 0:10Speaker 1: is now calling for the Republican Party to undergo reform
- 0:13Speaker 1: after it was projected the party would not regain control
- 0:18Speaker 1: of the US Senate. The old party is dead. Time
- 0:22Speaker 1: to bury it build something new. That's what Congressman Holly
- 0:26Speaker 1: tweeted following Katherine Cortez Mastos, the Democrat in Nevada's victory
- 0:32Speaker 1: over the Republican Adam Laxall and the Nevada Senate race.
- 0:37Speaker 1: He said, the old party is dead. Time to bury
- 0:40Speaker 1: it and build something new. Obviously, the mainstream Republicans did
- 0:47Speaker 1: not like this message. Now, this comes after several within
- 0:52Speaker 1: the party were hopeful they would regain control of the
- 0:56Speaker 1: Senate since they only needed to ship one seat. However,
- 1:03Speaker 1: as of Saturday night and into Sunday, the GOP is
- 1:06Speaker 1: now at risk of losing one seat in the upper
- 1:08Speaker 1: Chamber depending on the results of the Georgia Senate runoff
- 1:11Speaker 1: in December. The day before the midterm election, Holly indicated
- 1:15Speaker 1: his support for change within the party following his statement
- 1:18Speaker 1: that he would not support Senor Mitch McConnell, Republican from Kentucky,
- 1:22Speaker 1: for the Senate leadership. He said, I don't imagine I will. No,
- 1:26Speaker 1: he said when asked if he would back McConnell, I'm
- 1:29Speaker 1: not sure if any other Senator will run or not.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Nobody's indicated they would, but my view is that we
- 1:34Speaker 1: need new leadership in that position. McConnell now facing even
- 1:38Speaker 1: more criticism, facing intense criticism from within the party after
- 1:43Speaker 1: the Superpack. He is aligned with the Senate Leadership Fund
- 1:47Speaker 1: with Drew Adds spending for Republican candidate Blake Masters and
- 1:51Speaker 1: the Winnable Airs on a Senate race to attack fellow
- 1:55Speaker 1: Republican Kelly a fellow Republican challenger who is allnging McConnell
- 2:01Speaker 1: ally Senator Lisa Murkowski in the Alaska Senate race. The
- 2:06Speaker 1: Missouri Center then joined Senor Marco Rubio and other colleagues
- 2:09Speaker 1: and calling for the GOP Senate leadership vote to be
- 2:12Speaker 1: delayed until the Georgia's Senate runoff results are determined, saying
- 2:17Speaker 1: exactly right, I don't know why Senate GOP would hold
- 2:20Speaker 1: a leadership vote for the next Congress before this election
- 2:24Speaker 1: is finished. We have a runoff in the Georgia's Senate seat.
- 2:27Speaker 1: They are saying that doesn't matter, doesn't disenfranchise herschel Walker,
- 2:32Speaker 1: it absolutely would. Since he was elected in twenty eighteen,
- 2:36Speaker 1: Senator Holly has been one of the few Republicans to
- 2:39Speaker 1: challenge the GOP establishments orthodoxy, which typically prioritizes corporate interest
- 2:45Speaker 1: and foreign inter interventionalism in the past, in favor of
- 2:49Speaker 1: prioritizing working in middle class families. The non orthodox policies
- 2:55Speaker 1: that Holly has voice support for include regulating and breaking
- 2:58Speaker 1: up big tech, giving wage subsidies to low wage workers
- 3:04Speaker 1: employed by small businesses, creating tax credits for working class families,
- 3:10Speaker 1: and calling for the US to withdraw from the wto Now.
- 3:15Speaker 1: There is no doubt that this election was screwed up
- 3:18Speaker 1: by the Republican leadership. The Associated Press has also called
- 3:23Speaker 1: the Washington three race for the Democrat Marie Perez over
- 3:27Speaker 1: the Republican Joe Kent. This is getting worse and worse
- 3:32Speaker 1: as the days go on. There are obviously people that
- 3:35Speaker 1: are very angry, there's people that are very upset. What
- 3:38Speaker 1: I know is, you had every issue on our side
- 3:40Speaker 1: and we still screwed it up. How do we screw
- 3:43Speaker 1: it up because the Washington leadership didn't get behind the
- 3:46Speaker 1: right candidates. I'm going to tell you more, but I
- 3:48Speaker 1: also want to say thank you and remind you about

- 4:56Speaker 1: Ben There's also another thing here that people need to understand,
- 5:00Speaker 1: and that's this, when you run bad candidates, you get
- 5:05Speaker 1: bad results. Let me say that again. When you run
- 5:09Speaker 1: bad candidates, you get bad results. Doctor Oz was a
- 5:13Speaker 1: bad candidate, for example, you get bad results. Chris Christie
- 5:20Speaker 1: also not totally wrong with what he said today on TV.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I'm not a big Chris Christie fan, but I do
- 5:26Speaker 1: think his response to what has just happened makes a
- 5:29Speaker 1: lot of sense. He said, there's no scenario Republicans can
- 5:33Speaker 1: win twenty twenty four unless they get Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.
- 5:37Speaker 1: That's right, and to get those can the same Republican
- 5:41Speaker 1: leadership that just screwed up these elections actually figured out
- 5:43Speaker 1: in the next year years. I'm not willing to take
- 5:46Speaker 1: that risk. Take a listen. Look, you know, I think
- 5:49Speaker 1: Donna made a really interesting point that Republicans need to
- 5:51Speaker 1: think about Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. There is no scenario
- 5:58Speaker 1: under which Republicans can win the presidency in twenty twenty
- 6:01Speaker 1: four and lose all three of those states. They just can't.
- 6:04Speaker 1: The electoral math doesn't work, and those candidates lost. In
- 6:09Speaker 1: my view, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania because they were seen as
- 6:14Speaker 1: unstable Trump like candidates in all three of those states
- 6:19Speaker 1: and the governor's races. And so we've got an assessment
- 6:23Speaker 1: to make. Are we the party of me or we
- 6:25Speaker 1: the party of us? Are we going to be the
- 6:27Speaker 1: party of you know, Donald Trump, whatever's good for me,
- 6:29Speaker 1: it's good for all of you, whether you think it
- 6:31Speaker 1: is or it isn't, Or are we gonna be the
- 6:32Speaker 1: party to try to represents the rest of the country.
- 6:35Speaker 1: And that's the huge decision that has to be made
- 6:37Speaker 1: the next two years, and the presidential process will help
- 6:39Speaker 1: to decide that and some other things as well. And
- 6:41Speaker 1: one thing going back to McCarthy and governing, you know,
- 6:45Speaker 1: when he's only gonna have one House, if they if
- 6:47Speaker 1: they have the House of Representatives Senates with the Democrats,
- 6:51Speaker 1: you're playing defense. Then it's different than if they had
- 6:54Speaker 1: won the Senate and wanted to put legislation together they
- 6:56Speaker 1: were going to push You're not going to advance legislation anyway, right,
- 6:59Speaker 1: So my point is that eighteen nineteen, twenty twenty one
- 7:02Speaker 1: is less important because all they're really going to be
- 7:05Speaker 1: doing is stopping the Biden agenda. Now they can't advance
- 7:09Speaker 1: their own agenda because Schuber won't advance their agenda in
- 7:11Speaker 1: the Senate. Now, their job is to play defense and
- 7:14Speaker 1: stop Biden from doing some of the things that they
- 7:16Speaker 1: disagree with. That's why I think it doesn't matter as much. George.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Maybe it wasn't clear about that my first comment. It
- 7:22Speaker 1: is in this instance, there's not a small, medium or
- 7:25Speaker 1: large gavel. Kevin McCarthy, to his credit, four years ago
- 7:29Speaker 1: they were in the minority, they had lost in twenty
- 7:32Speaker 1: eighteen in a wipeout, and four years later he's going
- 7:36Speaker 1: to bring them back to the majority predominantly through his
- 7:39Speaker 1: efforts and his leadership. So I think he deserves some
- 7:41Speaker 1: credit for that, and I think he's not going to
- 7:43Speaker 1: be on defense as a speaker. Here's the other thing
- 7:46Speaker 1: that's interesting about what Chris Christie just said there. He's right,
- 7:51Speaker 1: we ran bad candidates in those three states, and when
- 7:54Speaker 1: you run bad candidates in those three states, you get
- 7:58Speaker 1: bad results. You know. Senator Ron Johnson is very upset,
- 8:03Speaker 1: and he should be because he had an opportunity to
- 8:05Speaker 1: investigate Hunter Biden and his dealings with Joe Biden and
- 8:08Speaker 1: James Biden and he said that, you know, the investigations
- 8:11Speaker 1: of Hunter Biden's dealings will continue. The budget was cut
- 8:15Speaker 1: sixty to seventy percent. That's a lot. Take a listen
- 8:21Speaker 1: to what change because we ran some bad candidates like
- 8:24Speaker 1: doctor Oz. Well, let's also talk about what's possible now
- 8:28Speaker 1: that we know it's likely that the Democrats are going
- 8:32Speaker 1: to have the majority in the Senate. Next week, you've
- 8:34Speaker 1: got Christopher Ray testifying in front of the Homeland Security Committee,
- 8:39Speaker 1: and your committee, what are you going to ask him?
- 8:41Speaker 1: And are you going to continue your deep dive investigation
- 8:43Speaker 1: on the DOJ, on the FBI, on the Biden family
- 8:47Speaker 1: influenced pedaling. Well, I've got a number of questions. I
- 8:50Speaker 1: only get seven minutes, probably, so I'll have to pick
- 8:52Speaker 1: in shoes based on where other people who asked him
- 8:54Speaker 1: before me or in the House. But I've got a
- 8:57Speaker 1: long list of oversight letters to the FBI. I've no
- 9:01Speaker 1: answers from them all. Here's the one right here who
- 9:04Speaker 1: directed the briefing to Senator Grassley and I that was
- 9:06Speaker 1: a setup used to smear me. Later on, two years later,
- 9:10Speaker 1: a number of public letters, I still don't know who
- 9:12Speaker 1: directed that FBI briefing which was a complete setup. So
- 9:16Speaker 1: I'll be asking him that for sure, and now that
- 9:18Speaker 1: he's aware of that, he better have an answer for well.
- 9:21Speaker 1: I mean, look, people want to understand when this politicization
- 9:24Speaker 1: in the FBI started. You have been doing this deep
- 9:27Speaker 1: dive and have actually gotten real information about Hunter Biden
- 9:31Speaker 1: and the way the Biden family tries to get money
- 9:35Speaker 1: lining their own pockets. And then Joe Biden has to
- 9:38Speaker 1: make decisions on behalf of America. How's Joe Biden going
- 9:41Speaker 1: to protect America meeting Jijing Ping tomorrow when we know
- 9:45Speaker 1: he's taken in all that money from Chinese officials tied
- 9:47Speaker 1: to the CCPA. By the way, the question that she's
- 9:50Speaker 1: asking here is one that is a question that deserves
- 9:55Speaker 1: to be answered, and that should be answered. It deserves
- 10:00Speaker 1: to be answered, and it should be answered. But unfortunately
- 10:03Speaker 1: it looks like we screwed up this election. But before
- 10:06Speaker 1: I get to that part of the story, I want
- 10:07Speaker 1: to tell you a little bit about my good friends
- 10:09Speaker 1: over at Patriot Mobile. If you are ready to have
- 10:12Speaker 1: an impact every time that you use your phone, and
- 10:15Speaker 1: I'm talking about have an impact by supporting First and
- 10:18Speaker 1: Second Amendment rights, supporting the rights of the unborn and
- 10:21Speaker 1: fighting back. Every time you make a phone call, you
- 10:24Speaker 1: need to know about Patriot Mobile. Patriot Mobile is America's
- 10:28Speaker 1: only conservative Christian mobile phone provider, and they are using
- 10:34Speaker 1: your phone bill when you paid every month, to actually
- 10:38Speaker 1: fight for conservative causes while saving you money. Now, this
- 10:40Speaker 1: isn't any extra ad on your bill. They take a
- 10:43Speaker 1: portion of your bill every month and they give it
- 10:46Speaker 1: back to fund conservative causes and Canada to believe in
- 10:50Speaker 1: the sanctity of life, freedom of speech, and the Second Amendment.
- 10:54Speaker 1: And they are winning. Patriot Mobile has now been attacked
- 10:58Speaker 1: by the big media. Big tech is now coming after them,
- 11:02Speaker 1: and that's why I want you to support them. If
- 11:05Speaker 1: you want an affordable plan and you want to get
- 11:08Speaker 1: the same great coverage you have right now, switch to
- 11:10Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile. You're gonna save money. They use the same
- 11:12Speaker 1: exact towers you're using right now. It's an affordable plan
- 11:16Speaker 1: for you and your family, are even your business or
- 11:18Speaker 1: small business. They offer the same nationwide coverage as the
- 11:21Speaker 1: major carriers because they use the same towers. If you
- 11:26Speaker 1: haven't found out about Patriot Mobile, check them out Patriot
- 11:28Speaker 1: Mobile dot com slash ferguson. That's Patriot Mobile dot com,
- 11:33Speaker 1: slash ferguson or call them nine to seven to Patriot.
- 11:37Speaker 1: You'll get free activation with the offer code ferguson nine
- 11:41Speaker 1: seven to Patriot check them out. So, now what does
- 11:46Speaker 1: it mean moving forward? That's the other part of the question.
- 11:52Speaker 1: We're not going to have the investigation that we were
- 11:54Speaker 1: hoping to and the Hunter Biden since we've lost the Senate.
- 11:57Speaker 1: And the question that was asked if Senator john and
- 12:00Speaker 1: about the money is an important one. Senator Johnson was
- 12:04Speaker 1: very frustrated right that he We're not going to have
- 12:07Speaker 1: the Senate to investigate James Biden. The President is going
- 12:11Speaker 1: to have a meeting clearly with the Chinese leadership. And
- 12:17Speaker 1: the question now is so then what happens with the
- 12:19Speaker 1: Chinese leadership? How can the president adequate adequately ask questions
- 12:27Speaker 1: of somebody that clearly has compromising information on him. Now,
- 12:31Speaker 1: it's obvious that President Biden is highly compromised because of
- 12:35Speaker 1: Hunter Biden's money influence peddling, and that's what it was.
- 12:39Speaker 1: And of course the FBI is known about this, probably
- 12:41Speaker 1: going back to twenty fourteen twenty fifteen, when you know
- 12:45Speaker 1: you had the prosecutions or investigations of Devin Archer, Hunter
- 12:49Speaker 1: Biden's business partner. So this corups has been going back
- 12:52Speaker 1: quite a few years. It needs to be fully exposed.
- 12:54Speaker 1: You know, hopefully I'll have my budget restored and the
- 12:57Speaker 1: last Congress, you know I should be I will be
- 13:00Speaker 1: ranking member of the Permit Subcommite investigations. Our budget was
- 13:04Speaker 1: cut back to about sixty or seventy percent of what
- 13:07Speaker 1: it was from my committee chairman and the ranking member
- 13:10Speaker 1: that funding needs to be restored, so I have enough
- 13:12Speaker 1: staff to do the proper investigations. Well, are you going
- 13:15Speaker 1: to get your budget restored? Who'll cut your budget? Well,
- 13:20Speaker 1: that would be the chairman of the committee, Senator Peters
- 13:22Speaker 1: and the ranking member, Rob Portman. So hopefully our new
- 13:26Speaker 1: ranking member will steal the same chairman, but hopefully the
- 13:29Speaker 1: new ranking member will restore the funds necessary to really
- 13:33Speaker 1: conduct to the type of investigations that the Permit Subcommite
- 13:36Speaker 1: Investigation was designed to do. And you feel that you'll
- 13:39Speaker 1: be able to still conduct proper investigations even though you
- 13:42Speaker 1: don't have you won't have subpoena power, right, correct, But
- 13:47Speaker 1: we also do have things like Foyer requests, and we've
- 13:49Speaker 1: done quite a bit with that. Remember the four thousand
- 13:52Speaker 1: pages of Fauci emails were foyed. We looked at those.
- 13:55Speaker 1: We identified four hundred of those pages that were heavily
- 13:59Speaker 1: redacted Congresses and subject redactions. So we've pressured HHS. They've
- 14:03Speaker 1: allowed us to see three hundred and fifty of those pages.
- 14:07Speaker 1: It changes to that they will not allow us to
- 14:09Speaker 1: look at fifty of those pages that are still redacted.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I think we know kind of where the real incriminating
- 14:15Speaker 1: evidence is. You think about where we were going into
- 14:21Speaker 1: election day, and you think about where we are now,
- 14:24Speaker 1: and you think about just how frustrating it is. I'm angry.
- 14:29Speaker 1: I assume most of you are angry, and the fact
- 14:32Speaker 1: that not only did we not win back the Senate,
- 14:34Speaker 1: but we may be in the exact same spot that
- 14:35Speaker 1: we're in right now is incredibly frustrating. It makes me
- 14:41Speaker 1: unbelievably angry. It makes me furious that we are sitting
- 14:47Speaker 1: here having this ridiculous conversation, because it is ridiculous. We
- 14:54Speaker 1: had the issues, and the issues were on our side,
- 14:58Speaker 1: and we picked bad candidates. There was something interesting that
- 15:01Speaker 1: happened with Donald Trump and doctor Oz. He understands. I
- 15:05Speaker 1: think now just how bad of a candidate doctor Oz was.
- 15:08Speaker 1: In fact, he decided to throw his wife under the bus,
- 15:11Speaker 1: Melania Trump, claiming it was her idea that doctor Oz run,
- 15:15Speaker 1: not his. He then came out and apologized for that,
- 15:20Speaker 1: later claiming it was her idea, not his, to run
- 15:24Speaker 1: doctor Oz. And what we learned from Donald Trump is
- 15:28Speaker 1: that Donald Trump can get you through a primary. What
- 15:31Speaker 1: we also learned is that Donald Trump cannot necessarily get
- 15:34Speaker 1: you through a general election. Doctor Oz is a perfect
- 15:39Speaker 1: example of this. Doctor Oz should have never been on
- 15:43Speaker 1: the ballot to begin with. Doctor Oz was a bad candidate.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I did not support him in the primary. I did
- 15:49Speaker 1: not think he was electable. And that's exactly what we
- 15:53Speaker 1: found out through all of this. He is not a
- 15:56Speaker 1: candidate that was electable. He also wouldn't give up his
- 16:00Speaker 1: Turkish citizenship, an actual adversary the United States of America,
- 16:04Speaker 1: unless he won the Senate race. He is a spokesperson
- 16:08Speaker 1: for Turkish airlines, putting money ahead of his campaign. Things
- 16:14Speaker 1: like that cost you an election, especially if the election
- 16:17Speaker 1: is tight. It's another example of running a bad candidate.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Look at what's happened in Arizona. Look at what has
- 16:24Speaker 1: happened in Michigan. You know the fact that the Democratic
- 16:28Speaker 1: Party was able to elect a dead guy, a guy
- 16:33Speaker 1: that clearly is incapacitated in Fetterman tells you that we
- 16:38Speaker 1: really screwed up. That's the takeaway for me. How do
- 16:43Speaker 1: they screw up this bad? Now you know how they
- 16:46Speaker 1: screwed up this bad and the Republican Party has to
- 16:52Speaker 1: decide what we're gonna do moving forward. We should have
- 16:57Speaker 1: picked up, by the way, more house seats. There's a
- 17:00Speaker 1: lot of people now saying, all right, what does this
- 17:02Speaker 1: mean moving forward? Because in Florida, Florida is where we
- 17:06Speaker 1: actually had a legitimate, authentic red wave. Florida and what
- 17:11Speaker 1: happened with Desantists down there was an incredible red wave.
- 17:14Speaker 1: It was unbelievably impressive. They won every single statewide seat
- 17:21Speaker 1: in the state Assembly when it comes to the AG
- 17:24Speaker 1: and things like that. Incredible, every statewide race they won,
- 17:28Speaker 1: the Republicans won. You look at what Desantists did. You
- 17:32Speaker 1: cannot tell me. He didn't run that election perfectly, and
- 17:35Speaker 1: he didn't run it the way that it should have
- 17:36Speaker 1: been run. And now there's people saying, all right, you
- 17:40Speaker 1: have to look at him as a serious contender and
- 17:43Speaker 1: then there's the other problem, and that is we still
- 17:47Speaker 1: have people that don't realize just how important it is
- 17:50Speaker 1: to win in Georgia. I spent time in Georgia this
- 17:55Speaker 1: past week campaigning for herschel Walker. It is vitally important
- 18:03Speaker 1: that we spend quality time supporting herschel Walker, whether it's
- 18:08Speaker 1: through donations, because if we don't win that seat or
- 18:12Speaker 1: even even more trouble, why because I believe they would
- 18:16Speaker 1: blow up the filibuster and I also believe they would
- 18:19Speaker 1: try to pack the Supreme Court. Democrats right now are
- 18:23Speaker 1: not afraid of changing traditions in our government, and they
- 18:27Speaker 1: certainly don't care about our constitution. So that's why I
- 18:32Speaker 1: think they would do it. That race in Georgia is
- 18:35Speaker 1: going to be unbelievably important moving forward, and if we
- 18:39Speaker 1: lose that, specially that runoff there, Democrats, I believe, will
- 18:44Speaker 1: feel like they have a mandate to an essence, do
- 18:47Speaker 1: whatever they want to do on any issue, including blowing
- 18:51Speaker 1: up the filibuster and packing the Supreme Court with four
- 18:54Speaker 1: more justices. There's other issues that Democrats might do things
- 18:59Speaker 1: that they might tide to move forward and do. One
- 19:01Speaker 1: of those examples would be giving statehood to places like
- 19:05Speaker 1: DC are giving statehood to places like Puerto Rico. Why
- 19:11Speaker 1: would they do that because they believe that that would
- 19:13Speaker 1: be at least at bare minimum four more senators that
- 19:17Speaker 1: would be on the Democratic side of things indefinitely. They
- 19:20Speaker 1: believe that in Puerto Rico they would vote for Democrats overwhelmingly.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Based on what we see in the data there. That's
- 19:26Speaker 1: not a bad it's not a bad take on where
- 19:30Speaker 1: they are. It's pretty clear that's where they believe they
- 19:34Speaker 1: can pick up. And then imagine what the Senate would
- 19:36Speaker 1: look like if they were able to pick up two
- 19:38Speaker 1: seats in each place. It is shocking what has just happened.
- 19:43Speaker 1: It is shocking just how quickly it happened. It is
- 19:48Speaker 1: shocking how bad Republicans screwed up this election. I need
- 19:54Speaker 1: to tell you about my good friends at Legacy Precious Medals.
- 19:57Speaker 1: If you're paying attention, you've seen that the style market
- 20:00Speaker 1: has been plumbing. Many economists are predicting this is just
- 20:04Speaker 1: the beginning, and we could see a market pullback well
- 20:07Speaker 1: into twenty twenty three. If that happens, you're going to
- 20:10Speaker 1: see tremendous losses in your portfolio. Many of you have
- 20:13Speaker 1: already seen those losses. That is where there's an upside
- 20:18Speaker 1: with gold. In the two thousand and eight crash, when
- 20:20Speaker 1: the market dipped, gold win up. Legacy Precious Metals is

- 21:03Speaker 1: Legacypminvestments dot com. That's Legacypminvestments dot Com. At the end
- 21:11Speaker 1: of the day, there's no reason to beat around the bush.
- 21:14Speaker 1: We got beat. The Democrats had a good mid term.
- 21:18Speaker 1: They want a Senate seat in Pennsylvania which was held
- 21:21Speaker 1: by a Republican because we had a god awful candidate.
- 21:26Speaker 1: And if they hold on to their seat in Georgia,
- 21:30Speaker 1: they will actually end up plus one the Senate, and
- 21:32Speaker 1: if they lose Georgia, they will still keep the majority
- 21:35Speaker 1: with a vice president as the tiebreaker, just as they
- 21:38Speaker 1: did in one hundred and seventeenth Congress. Democrats also gained
- 21:43Speaker 1: one governorship. And as for the US House, that's, unfortunately,
- 21:48Speaker 1: as I'm talking to you right now, still in play. Yes,
- 21:53Speaker 1: it does seem likely that Republicans will control the eighteenth
- 21:56Speaker 1: Congress on the House side, but only by the narrowists
- 22:00Speaker 1: of margins when we should have had a big victory.
- 22:04Speaker 1: So are there any silver linings for Republicans and do
- 22:08Speaker 1: they point to Sunnier skies for the GOP and future elections,
- 22:12Speaker 1: including obviously the most important, the presidential elections in twenty
- 22:16Speaker 1: twenty four. Well, let's talk about the enthusiasm gap. In
- 22:21Speaker 1: twenty twenty Joe Biden won the popular vote by more
- 22:24Speaker 1: than seven million, eighty one million ballots compared to Donald
- 22:28Speaker 1: trumps seventy four million. Yet this year Republicans beat Democrats
- 22:32Speaker 1: in the total vote for the US House. GOP candidates
- 22:38Speaker 1: received fifty two thousand, one hundred and forty two votes
- 22:42Speaker 1: as of right now. That could change over the next
- 22:45Speaker 1: couple hours. Democratic candidates received forty seven thousand, one hundred
- 22:50Speaker 1: and twenty seven votes. Now, that is a gap of
- 22:53Speaker 1: five million votes more for Republicans and Democrats, and more
- 22:57Speaker 1: of the story is where we ran good candidates, we
- 23:00Speaker 1: had overwhelming support. The margin for the GOP shift from
- 23:04Speaker 1: minus seven million last time, granted it was a presidential
- 23:07Speaker 1: election year to plus five million in twenty twenty two.
- 23:11Speaker 1: That's a margin shift to twelve million votes. That's significant. Now,
- 23:17Speaker 1: we should be cleared this was a midterm election, it
- 23:19Speaker 1: was not a presidential election. According to data compiled by
- 23:25Speaker 1: US Election Project, the drop off in the last five
- 23:28Speaker 1: decades presidential to mid terms has been about a third.
- 23:33Speaker 1: If the Democrats vote total fell by more than a
- 23:36Speaker 1: third from twenty twenty to twenty twenty two, forty two percent.
- 23:41Speaker 1: In fact, by contrast, Republican vote fell by just twenty
- 23:46Speaker 1: nine percent. Yes, is a bit mysterious as to how
- 23:50Speaker 1: Republican candidates managed to do so poorly relative to voter
- 23:54Speaker 1: or enthusiasm. But I think it's also clear that when
- 23:56Speaker 1: you have a bad candate, you run a bad candiate, well,
- 23:59Speaker 1: then bad things happened. Now, the other question is what
- 24:07Speaker 1: happens with the Republican leadership, What do we do right
- 24:13Speaker 1: with Republican leadership, there's still an opportunity here going into
- 24:19Speaker 1: the presidential the White House, for example, on November the ninth,
- 24:24Speaker 1: the day after the elections, a reporter asked the President,
- 24:28Speaker 1: Joe Biden, what in the next two years do you
- 24:31Speaker 1: intend to do differently? The President smiled and answered nothing,
- 24:38Speaker 1: because we're just finding out what we're doing. The more
- 24:42Speaker 1: they know about what we're doing, the more support there
- 24:45Speaker 1: is referring to the American people. That was the official
- 24:48Speaker 1: response from Joe Biden. The good news as it doesn't
- 24:51Speaker 1: see the Democrats learn from the mid term elections either.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Biden's approval rating is about forty and he hasn't been
- 24:59Speaker 1: above fi since August of twenty twenty one. And yet
- 25:04Speaker 1: as far as he's concerned, everything is going fine. All
- 25:08Speaker 1: he needs to do, he thinks, is more of the
- 25:10Speaker 1: exact same thing that he's been doing right now. On
- 25:13Speaker 1: November the thirteenth, how Speaker Nancy Pelosi. On Sunday, November thirteenth,
- 25:20Speaker 1: less than a week after election day, Nancy Pelosi told
- 25:24Speaker 1: ABC News that Biden should run again in twenty twenty four.
- 25:26Speaker 1: As she put it, he's has been a great president,
- 25:30Speaker 1: and he has a great record to run on. In fact,
- 25:34Speaker 1: while it's almost certain that the Democrats will lose their
- 25:36Speaker 1: House majority this year, there's at least a chance at
- 25:38Speaker 1: Pelosi eighty two will stay on as a Democratic leader,
- 25:42Speaker 1: as minority leader, if not Speaker, depending on the total
- 25:46Speaker 1: vote counts. She was, after all, re elected to her
- 25:50Speaker 1: House seat, and she said on November the thirteenth that
- 25:53Speaker 1: she has no plans to resign from Congress, basically because
- 25:56Speaker 1: Democrats did so well on an election day when it
- 25:59Speaker 1: was supposed to be a brutal beat down of Nancy Pelosi,
- 26:02Speaker 1: and we screwed that up as Republicans. So the question
- 26:07Speaker 1: is whether or not she would seek the post of
- 26:10Speaker 1: minority leader. Pelosi, born in nineteen forty, has been the
- 26:14Speaker 1: head of the Democrats in the House and the majority
- 26:16Speaker 1: and in the minority since two thousand and three, so
- 26:20Speaker 1: she has all the scars as well as strengths that
- 26:23Speaker 1: come from two decades of high profile politics. She clearly
- 26:29Speaker 1: relishes the leadership job, and yet for years now, younger
- 26:33Speaker 1: House Democrats have been well angry about her long tenure,
- 26:37Speaker 1: just like many conservative Republicans are about Mitch McConnell. Under
- 26:41Speaker 1: pressure from her juniors, in twenty eighteen, she agreed to
- 26:44Speaker 1: serve only two more terms as Democratic leader, and she
- 26:48Speaker 1: reaffirmed that agreement in twenty twenty. And yet now that
- 26:52Speaker 1: the time's up, what will she do? Will she stepped down,
- 26:54Speaker 1: will she break her pledge? No one knows Pelosi, who's
- 27:00Speaker 1: eighty two. If she does stay, what are the other
- 27:03Speaker 1: two top Democratic House leaders, Cindy Hoyer and Jim Clyburn,
- 27:07Speaker 1: They too, by the way, are over eighty. You look
- 27:11Speaker 1: at the leadership in this country right now. It's a
- 27:13Speaker 1: bunch of eighty year olds. Just so we understand this,
- 27:16Speaker 1: Joe Biden will turn eighty on November the twentieth. So
- 27:19Speaker 1: basically the entire country is now being run by older,
- 27:23Speaker 1: senile individuals. Let's just be honest about that. Which brings
- 27:28Speaker 1: me back to Georgia. If Democrats get their way, and
- 27:33Speaker 1: I do believe that the Democrats are going to get
- 27:36Speaker 1: their way, they are going to keep the Senate, as
- 27:39Speaker 1: I mentioned, and they may even be able to grab
- 27:42Speaker 1: this spot, which terrifies me in Georgia. And if we
- 27:47Speaker 1: don't back herschel Walker, there's a very good chance they
- 27:50Speaker 1: could end the filibuster, and when you end the filibuster,
- 27:53Speaker 1: they could pack the Supreme Court and they could give
- 27:56Speaker 1: statehood to DC in Puerto Rico, which would add four
- 27:59Speaker 1: new senators, which means the Democrats believe they get all four.
- 28:04Speaker 1: That's why it's so important in Georgia we win this race.
- 28:10Speaker 1: That's why it's important that every one of us get
- 28:12Speaker 1: involved financially if you can, by donating to Herschel Walker's
- 28:17Speaker 1: campaign teamherschel dot com is his website. I rarely tell
- 28:24Speaker 1: people to give to a campaign, but if you can,
- 28:29Speaker 1: please give, because the Democrats are doing everything they can
- 28:33Speaker 1: to get rid of them. Team herschel dot com, teamherschel
- 28:40Speaker 1: dot com, go there and give if you can. I
- 28:45Speaker 1: want to get your phone calls. I want to get
- 28:47Speaker 1: your reaction to Mitch McConnell. And also, there was one
- 28:51Speaker 1: state that had a real red wave, only one, and
- 28:55Speaker 1: that state was Florida. There's a lot of people now
- 29:00Speaker 1: believe that the leadership of the Republican Party should be
- 29:04Speaker 1: looked at through the eyes of what that man did,
- 29:07Speaker 1: Governor DeSantis. Donald Trump attacking de Santis like never before.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Is that good for the party. Make sure, by the way,
