- 0:15Speaker 1: like the moking buck bus things and its cub me
- 0:19Speaker 1: true good it. Steve har listening to movie together for Steve. Please, Bobby,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join joined me to be with me. You
- 0:58Speaker 1: gotta gotta turn hurting the You gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Got to turn out to turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water. Come, come on your baby, that it? Huh?
- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will. A good morning everybody. You are listening
- 2:05Speaker 1: to the voice, come on dig me now. One and
- 2:08Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey got a radio show man. If y'all
- 2:14Speaker 1: only knew, I think I'll tell it to you this
- 2:17Speaker 1: morning man started off real crazy. But it's just those
- 2:21Speaker 1: little mishaps where we as people who are striving to
- 2:26Speaker 1: be successful that makes all the difference in the world.
- 2:30Speaker 1: When you have those little minor things that come up,
- 2:33Speaker 1: you can't let the minor things stop you. You've got
- 2:36Speaker 1: to keep pressing forward. Now, could I have played the
- 2:40Speaker 1: role of where is my car? Where is my car? Oh?
- 2:44Speaker 1: Where is my car? Instead of hustling and grab a cab?
- 2:50Speaker 1: So what am I? Am? I above a cab ride now?
- 2:54Speaker 1: Or do I have to look at the bigger picture
- 2:56Speaker 1: and say, okay, I could act like a little spoiled
- 2:59Speaker 1: brat some type of star and go I don't ride
- 3:01Speaker 1: in cabs, or where's my car? And then go to
- 3:04Speaker 1: blaming people for not having a car, Or do I
- 3:06Speaker 1: make the adjustments because ain't like I ain't been in
- 3:08Speaker 1: a cab before now slow down? Ain't like I ain't
- 3:11Speaker 1: never been in a in a beat up car before,
- 3:14Speaker 1: slow down? Ain't ever like I ain't never had a
- 3:16Speaker 1: cab and roll the bus before slow down? Ain't like
- 3:20Speaker 1: I ain't never been homeless before, and ain't have nowhere
- 3:23Speaker 1: to go? Slow down. So in those moments right there,
- 3:27Speaker 1: always remember where you come from, but even more importantly,
- 3:32Speaker 1: always remember where you're trying to go, because it's important
- 3:35Speaker 1: for me that I get here as many mornings as
- 3:38Speaker 1: I possibly can. It's important because that's the goal. And
- 3:42Speaker 1: so many people allowed a minor things to stop them
- 3:45Speaker 1: on their road to success. And I'm giving you this
- 3:47Speaker 1: example today not to say hey, look at me, but
- 3:51Speaker 1: to say to you, hey, listening to me. They are
- 3:54Speaker 1: going to be a lot of things that's gonna happen
- 3:56Speaker 1: along your way to being successful, And if you allow
- 3:58Speaker 1: the small things to stop you, there's no way you'll
- 4:01Speaker 1: make it. You've got to always press forward and stop
- 4:04Speaker 1: looking at the situation for what it is and look.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Sometimes you have to take your offer right now and
- 4:08Speaker 1: put your eye into future. You know, God has blessed
- 4:11Speaker 1: me in so many ways. I mean, what can I say?
- 4:14Speaker 1: You know, I ask God for this syndicated show. He
- 4:16Speaker 1: gives me a syndicated show. Now I act like I
- 4:18Speaker 1: don't want to come to it. Hold on, man, slow down.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Did not you ask for this? Do I not realize
- 4:25Speaker 1: that there are certain people man, who look forward to
- 4:28Speaker 1: this message in the morning. I've heard it from people,
- 4:31Speaker 1: So from the hundreds that I've heard it for, that
- 4:34Speaker 1: could represent thousands for all I know. So if I
- 4:38Speaker 1: think somebody's counting on me, I got to try to
- 4:40Speaker 1: get there and give something. So today I didn't have
- 4:43Speaker 1: any time at all to think about what I might say.
- 4:46Speaker 1: I just walked right in and the jingle was playing,
- 4:48Speaker 1: and so I decided to just tell you about my
- 4:51Speaker 1: day and maybe you can relate it to something you're
- 4:53Speaker 1: going through alone the way, Because no matter who you are,
- 4:56Speaker 1: you're going to have some moments man, where things are
- 4:59Speaker 1: going to happen. And like I always tell my kids,
- 5:02Speaker 1: and I just had this conversation with my little girl,
- 5:04Speaker 1: it ain't that things ain't gonna happen. It's how you
- 5:07Speaker 1: handle what happens that matters. But it don't matter. It's
- 5:11Speaker 1: how you handle what happens that's the determining factor on
- 5:15Speaker 1: where you get in life and how soon you get
- 5:18Speaker 1: there and how long you stay there. That will always
- 5:21Speaker 1: be a mishap, something that's gonna throw you off. That
- 5:26Speaker 1: will always be something man, that could deter you. That
- 5:30Speaker 1: will be something somewhere man, that will make you doubt it.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Now that you know that's gonna happen, then let's talk
- 5:37Speaker 1: about how you handle what happens, because it's going to happen.
- 5:41Speaker 1: So now what do you do as a person when
- 5:43Speaker 1: these moments come about in your life? How do you handle? Oh?
- 5:47Speaker 1: Woe is me? Oh I guess it wasn't meant to be. Well,
- 5:52Speaker 1: if the Lord wanted me to have this, I'd have that.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Know how many deal how many times you hear people
- 5:56Speaker 1: say that, You know, man, it really irks me. Man.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Stop using God as your excuse. God ain't no excuse
- 6:05Speaker 1: God is a reason. He's a reason why the good happens.
- 6:11Speaker 1: He's a reason. He's not an excuse. God don't have
- 6:14Speaker 1: no excuses in none of his scriptures or writings, not
- 6:17Speaker 1: that ive. He just don't make excuses. I would have
- 6:21Speaker 1: done this. But you know there's a scripture that says
- 6:25Speaker 1: the poor will all shall always be amongst us. Why
- 6:28Speaker 1: that's got to be you. Yeah, he said the poor
- 6:31Speaker 1: will always be amongst us, because you know, everybody ain't
- 6:34Speaker 1: gonna follow the principles of success. But he also said
- 6:37Speaker 1: he came to give you life and give it to
- 6:39Speaker 1: you more abundantly. He said that too. But old, no,
- 6:42Speaker 1: you don't want to hear that because your life kind
- 6:44Speaker 1: of trip it out a little bit. So now what
- 6:46Speaker 1: you do with it? Now you twist it and you
- 6:48Speaker 1: go to that one little scripture that say well, the
- 6:51Speaker 1: poor shall always be amongst us. Well, that's put in
- 6:55Speaker 1: there because that's a that's auggests in case. See, that's
- 6:58Speaker 1: a just in case you all don't want to follow
- 7:01Speaker 1: the scriptures. That's just in case you don't understand that
- 7:05Speaker 1: faith without works is dead. That's just in case you
- 7:08Speaker 1: have not because you ask not. It's just in case
- 7:12Speaker 1: you don't believe, and shall not doubt he got all
- 7:15Speaker 1: that in there. But in case you don't want to
- 7:17Speaker 1: do that, there is a scripture that tells you who
- 7:19Speaker 1: don't happen if you don't do it, And here it
- 7:22Speaker 1: is the poor shall always be a monster. But then
- 7:25Speaker 1: you get that when they say, well, that's I guess
- 7:27Speaker 1: that's the Lord's will, Lord's will, really, really, really really,
- 7:33Speaker 1: that's amazing. I just don't believe that about him. I
- 7:36Speaker 1: don't believe that God created your life to be a
- 7:39Speaker 1: life of misery. I think that we make decisions along
- 7:44Speaker 1: the way that cause us to have lives of misery.
- 7:47Speaker 1: But I really really just don't believe that God created
- 7:52Speaker 1: you for that. I've heard Nelson Mandela speak, and you know,
- 7:58Speaker 1: you gotta go wild. All those years in prison, man,
- 8:03Speaker 1: what was it about. When you hear him speak, you
- 8:05Speaker 1: understand what it was about. He said he always knew
- 8:09Speaker 1: he would be free one day. Now, what he said
- 8:12Speaker 1: he never knew was he said he never knew that
- 8:15Speaker 1: he would be the president of that country. Oh my goodness,
- 8:21Speaker 1: what a long way around. But he could have sat
- 8:24Speaker 1: there and got involved in prison activities that wasn't up
- 8:28Speaker 1: to pawing things like that, and they said whenever young
- 8:32Speaker 1: inmates used to come in. He was telling the story
- 8:34Speaker 1: one time of how young inmates used to come into
- 8:37Speaker 1: the prison. They all sit around and talk to him
- 8:39Speaker 1: about what they were doing and how many kids they
- 8:41Speaker 1: had in their lives, and it helped them keep track
- 8:44Speaker 1: of the outside a little bit, and it kept a
- 8:47Speaker 1: sense of time for them and reminded them in to
- 8:49Speaker 1: talk about what they left behind, and it kept them
- 8:51Speaker 1: going because something was great on the other side. Had
- 8:57Speaker 1: he allowed that to stop him, had he allowed out
- 9:00Speaker 1: the imprisonment, which is a pretty major deal. Oh, by
- 9:02Speaker 1: the way, then guess what he would have never been
- 9:05Speaker 1: to Nelson Mandela that we know to day, a martyr,
- 9:08Speaker 1: a leader, a great force. People want to go around him.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Even people that imprisoned him could not understand his staunch strength,
- 9:17Speaker 1: his faith, his unwavering commitment. They couldn't understand it. So
- 9:22Speaker 1: things are going to happen in your life. But it's
- 9:24Speaker 1: how you handle what happens doesn't matter. So keep pushing, y'all.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Don't let the little things get in the way, okay,
- 9:30Speaker 1: And if you just sometimes you just don't know. I
- 9:32Speaker 1: got in the cab thinking I wasn't gonna make it,
- 9:34Speaker 1: but at least let's go see, let's try. I made it. Now.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Guess what that gives me another piece of information that
- 9:41Speaker 1: I have and all I had to see it again
- 9:44Speaker 1: to date. Guess what I said today? Man, Sometimes when
- 9:47Speaker 1: it looked like you ain't gonna make it, just go
- 9:49Speaker 1: ahead on anywhere. Now. I could still be back there
- 9:51Speaker 1: at the hotel time I wear my car, but I
- 9:54Speaker 1: got up in here made it. So now what y'all
- 9:56Speaker 1: gonna do with it? Let's go. You're listening morning show,
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Boys and girls, this is not quiet story.
- 10:07Speaker 1: This is Steve Harder deserving his voice because it's leaving
- 10:12Speaker 1: him and overworked, and have decided that I've got to
- 10:17Speaker 1: slow it down. So, ladies and gentlemen, this show will
- 10:20Speaker 1: be ran today by two foods. And I want to
- 10:24Speaker 1: apologize for anything happening. And Shirley and uh Carla, I
- 10:29Speaker 1: want to say good luck to both of you because
- 10:32Speaker 1: you are going to have a tough time controlling two
- 10:34Speaker 1: foods normally being you know, just ignorant. I am here
- 10:40Speaker 1: to provide some type of stability, but I won't be
- 10:42Speaker 1: able to to my boys don't, don't, don't, don't, don't

- 11:36Speaker 1: going with eighty three, eighty three. And see when you
- 11:39Speaker 1: tell people you eighty three, they go, no, you look
- 11:41Speaker 1: so good. Well, y'all go ahead and take it over.
- 11:54Speaker 1: You gotta help you what yeah? Yeah, yeah, but see

- 12:07Speaker 1: so I'm waiting on an assistant who posted been here

- 12:15Speaker 1: you know what, I ain't gonna be saying his ass
- 12:18Speaker 1: ain't here. Too many motames? Did you speak to the
- 12:20Speaker 1: nephew because one time it's gonna be his ass. Ain't
- 12:24Speaker 1: here no more. You didn't speak to the nephew. I
- 12:29Speaker 1: really didn't think it was morning morning. I got you,
- 12:33Speaker 1: I got you. You're over worked. Well, let's be real
- 12:36Speaker 1: about it. You're not underpaid. We gotta you're not underpaid.

- 12:56Speaker 1: Said that years ago we were on the radio just
- 12:59Speaker 1: in La and he fell out. You had to take
- 13:02Speaker 1: your throat out and look at Wow. Okay, well, how
- 13:11Speaker 1: was your birthday? Oh it was great. I'm still celebrating.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Still celebrating, man, I'm not supposed to have a whole
- 13:17Speaker 1: lot of cake. We had a little celebration at the
- 13:20Speaker 1: comedy club, the Jay Spot. It was one hundred and
- 13:23Speaker 1: eighteen comedians came wow, no no, no no, no, no no, no, no, no,
- 13:27Speaker 1: about three hundred and forty. Oh well that's why it
- 13:32Speaker 1: must have been at another clue about Jay's birthday. When
- 13:37Speaker 1: we come back on something funny. Had a date last night.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Yeah you're listening. It is time for something funny now, Steve,
- 13:49Speaker 1: I wanted to ask you, and and the guys as well,
- 13:52Speaker 1: what's the weirdest or the craziest thing you were caught
- 13:56Speaker 1: doing red handed? Something you know you weren't supposed to do,
- 13:59Speaker 1: but it was crazy though. Maybe it was something you
- 14:02Speaker 1: were looking up online, or maybe it was an embarrassing
- 14:05Speaker 1: moment in the bathroom. You told us about when you
- 14:08Speaker 1: were a chess at your girlfriend's house one time and
- 14:11Speaker 1: you had a real bad explosion. Uh no, anything something
- 14:17Speaker 1: that happened during you know, on the job on one done? Anything?
- 14:20Speaker 1: I mean, which one you want? Hand? Busk? You? Rish
- 14:30Speaker 1: everybody down. I've heard all these statements in my life
- 14:36Speaker 1: right there, put your chats you hands up? Yeah, I've
- 14:40Speaker 1: had all Which one you want? Something funny? Sheldy wasn't
- 14:45Speaker 1: none of the funny. Getting busted just ain't funny. Right?
- 14:50Speaker 1: Have you been caught? Have you been caught? Budon Nick? No,
- 14:54Speaker 1: it ain't no been caught button? Well you know I
- 14:57Speaker 1: want it? Wait, well I tell you what time I will?
- 15:02Speaker 1: You know, but I wanted to get caught. What do
- 15:06Speaker 1: you mean? I was at the girl's house one time,
- 15:09Speaker 1: she was at work, and I told her I was
- 15:12Speaker 1: gonna cook for when she came in. So I got
- 15:15Speaker 1: over to the house and set it all up and
- 15:18Speaker 1: I cooked everything. I cooked pretty good. You know. I
- 15:20Speaker 1: was young as our young dude then. So she had
- 15:23Speaker 1: a duplex townhouse. The kitchen, living room downstairs, two bedrooms
- 15:28Speaker 1: was upstairs. I decided to go on upstairs and wait
- 15:31Speaker 1: for you know, I hadn't done all this cooking, all
- 15:34Speaker 1: that the moon, and uh so I just had a
- 15:38Speaker 1: trail of clothes all the way up the steps. I'm
- 15:44Speaker 1: under the cover, nicked, okay, looking like new money shower it. Yeah.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I got so much baby all on me. This was
- 15:52Speaker 1: before I knew how to handle baby all. I had
- 15:55Speaker 1: so much baby all on me. I don't ruin us sheets. Yeah,
- 16:00Speaker 1: all in my hell excess man, baby. I didn't know
- 16:05Speaker 1: what I was doing then. And uh she was picking
- 16:09Speaker 1: up the clothes coming up steals, laughing, You're so crazy.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Oh you're so bad. You know. I had, you know,
- 16:15Speaker 1: one sock, then another sock, you know belt, you know, drawls,
- 16:23Speaker 1: you know, sure, all that placed up the steps. The
- 16:28Speaker 1: last thing was a draw Yeah. She got up there
- 16:32Speaker 1: and I snatched the covers off. I'm butt niked, but
- 16:38Speaker 1: I got so much all on me. All she said was,
- 16:42Speaker 1: oh my god, look at my sheets. I said, your ship.
- 16:49Speaker 1: You talk about your sheath, but you need to wearry
- 16:53Speaker 1: about rhyme with sheet. But that's I don't know what
- 16:58Speaker 1: you're talking about. Look at on the sheet. She was
- 17:01Speaker 1: so mad because I had baby all on the sheet.
- 17:05Speaker 1: She missed the point. Yeah, the whole damn point. Oh man,
- 17:11Speaker 1: So end up happening, not a damn thing. She mad
- 17:15Speaker 1: real attitude too about her sheet. Some sheets that sad.
- 17:19Speaker 1: So I got up, you know, no, hell no, just
- 17:22Speaker 1: reglass cotton sheet. Now I'm going down. I got to
- 17:25Speaker 1: collect all my stuff all the way back down the
- 17:28Speaker 1: damn still Ain't this about nothing. I'm putting stuff on
- 17:31Speaker 1: on the stairways. So when I got to the bottom,
- 17:33Speaker 1: I was fully dressed. Yeah, because I took the stuff
- 17:36Speaker 1: off strategically, So I just put it back on the
- 17:39Speaker 1: same way. You got my drawls, yeah, yeah, some pants
- 17:44Speaker 1: shut yeah, my socks, my shoe. By the time I
- 17:48Speaker 1: got to the bottom, I just got on dressed. When
- 17:50Speaker 1: on got my car, went on him, Yeah what I
- 17:54Speaker 1: what you're nothing to do is be mad at me
- 17:55Speaker 1: all this damn time. What happened to the meal and
- 18:01Speaker 1: the spaghetti and the salad in the frigerator got at
- 18:11Speaker 1: So you got you put on your clothes and got
- 18:13Speaker 1: in your car and went home. What happened the next day? No,
- 18:16Speaker 1: ain't doing talk for a while. Okay. Then she called me.
- 18:20Speaker 1: She said, so, I ain't heard from you. You ain't
- 18:24Speaker 1: heard from you? Now you know, she called my partner.
- 18:29Speaker 1: I ain't heard from me, because you know, I hate
- 18:32Speaker 1: to tell y'all this what No sell phone them back.
- 18:37Speaker 1: I ain't heard from you, I said, way, what what
- 18:39Speaker 1: you want to hear from me? I spent all that
- 18:41Speaker 1: time cooking you a meal, and all you complained about it.
- 18:44Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Nah, hell, I'm sorry. Nothing. I see how
- 18:48Speaker 1: you are, see your ass crazy. I ain't gonna get
- 18:51Speaker 1: involved with you. So that was it? Yeah, yeah, it
- 18:55Speaker 1: never went nowhere. Did you buy her some new sheets?
- 19:00Speaker 1: Some shot? Wash them? Hey what number baby one? Yeah?
- 19:07Speaker 1: It was to get out that dog if they're bad sheets.
- 19:13Speaker 1: But you complain you missed the point. Skip, Thank you
- 19:15Speaker 1: for cooking the meal. All this hit none of that,
- 19:20Speaker 1: you know, She laughing up the steps at the clothes.

- 27:54Speaker 1: what is what is the baddest and I mean the
- 27:57Speaker 1: baddest radio show in the land, Harvey Morning Shuff. What
- 28:07Speaker 1: y'all think I said it already? You played to me
- 28:12Speaker 1: it can happen. I just want to know if I'm
- 28:13Speaker 1: stupid enough to keep asking us. Well, I just want
- 28:18Speaker 1: to know. Am I stupid enough? Look, we got to
- 28:22Speaker 1: call you stupid. You to be convinced real quick, real quick,
- 28:27Speaker 1: you ain't want wanted to tribute. I want to ask
- 28:30Speaker 1: you if I prank a bunch of teachers, what would
- 28:35Speaker 1: you what would be a good title for my CD?
- 28:38Speaker 1: If I prank a bunch of teachers, professors, just people
- 28:42Speaker 1: to work at schools, what would be a good title
- 28:45Speaker 1: for my series? Yeah? Well, when we come back? Cool?
- 28:52Speaker 1: All right? Well, uh you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Steve.
- 29:01Speaker 1: You know, we just came up with some questions. You
- 29:04Speaker 1: know how you love asked Steve and we love asking
- 29:06Speaker 1: you questions. Now, this ain't CEO or nothing, just regular
- 29:10Speaker 1: sta some random questions. Yeah all right, Uh, well you
- 29:15Speaker 1: could just take this one and run with it. Actually,
- 29:17Speaker 1: this is an asked Steve. We're going to ask Steve
- 29:20Speaker 1: st You know how you love this ask steal. There
- 29:23Speaker 1: should be a level of appreciation from the upper management
- 29:29Speaker 1: for the job you all have done it. But I'm
- 29:32Speaker 1: looking around the room and I don't really see nothing
- 29:35Speaker 1: that special going on. One person. I don't really see
- 29:38Speaker 1: nothing that special going on. So you know, I mean,
- 29:40Speaker 1: you're in't here because there's a check. The moment I
- 29:43Speaker 1: cut these checks, I would expect none of you to
- 29:45Speaker 1: come back the next day. I would come for free
- 29:48Speaker 1: love all those a lot. We also now, now that
- 29:53Speaker 1: we've got that out the where, I have come to
- 29:56Speaker 1: the conclusion that your loyalty is a catch a check,
- 30:01Speaker 1: and therefore my desires for perfection from you should be
- 30:07Speaker 1: reflective of that check. Okay, So now as you all
- 30:12Speaker 1: ask your questions today, I will also give you not
- 30:15Speaker 1: only the answer, but the rebuttal to that. So y'all
- 30:19Speaker 1: can begin anytime you like, or meeting is open in
- 30:22Speaker 1: a journey, all right, Steve, if you had let's see,
- 30:26Speaker 1: if you made your goal one billion dollars, uh huh,
- 30:30Speaker 1: would you break us off? And how much? Yeah? If
- 30:35Speaker 1: I made a billion dollars and I left the radio
- 30:39Speaker 1: show early, yeah, I would give y'all something. What would
- 30:43Speaker 1: that be? I probably everybody get a million? Wow? How
- 30:47Speaker 1: can we how can we look at your books to
- 30:50Speaker 1: know that you I don't know it. I need to
- 30:56Speaker 1: know that you when you close to that being, because
- 30:59Speaker 1: what I don't want is for you to get there
- 31:01Speaker 1: and we don't know you were working for years and
- 31:06Speaker 1: then he keeps can't we can't find him? If I
- 31:12Speaker 1: got a billion, I'm not getting up every morning do
- 31:14Speaker 1: the radio. So he here, so you know, I'm now
- 31:17Speaker 1: clue clue number one, clue number one, and now you
- 31:21Speaker 1: can't look at my board. And when you get like
- 31:24Speaker 1: a hundred thousand from that billion, I'll at your bar
- 31:29Speaker 1: so I can make that deposit over in there and
- 31:32Speaker 1: you will be there because I know the million coming back.
- 31:35Speaker 1: You see what I'm saying. Nine hundred million. Yeah, I'm
- 31:38Speaker 1: gonna get you in there. Oh minding one to the
- 31:43Speaker 1: strip celebration. I know that. Okay, Next, sports for sure?
- 31:52Speaker 1: All right, okay, an you got a question? Go ahead.
- 31:56Speaker 1: What do you think you were good at but you
- 31:58Speaker 1: are actually quiet bad at it? What do I think
- 32:05Speaker 1: I was good at but I'm actually quite bad at golf?
- 32:14Speaker 1: I hit a shot one time I thought I was somebody.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Right after that I found out I would golf has
- 32:23Speaker 1: been a challenged for me. Uh, I was I was
- 32:29Speaker 1: headed to be a pretty good piano player. At one
- 32:32Speaker 1: point I could have been oh yeah, yeah, but I
- 32:38Speaker 1: could have been really good at the piano, and then
- 32:41Speaker 1: poverty struck. There were no money for lessons. We didn't
- 32:47Speaker 1: have money for a lessons or piano. So Steve, it's
- 32:51Speaker 1: time for today's headlines, ladies and gentlemen, miss An Tripp,
- 32:55Speaker 1: Thank you very much, everybody. This is a trip with
- 32:58Speaker 1: the news, and here we go. The House of repre
- 33:00Speaker 1: Senitives has approved a measure that gradually increases the federal
- 33:03Speaker 1: minimum wage federal minimum wage to fifteen bucks an hour
- 33:07Speaker 1: over the next several years, over the next five or
- 33:09Speaker 1: six The hike is supported by Democrats. The problem is
- 33:12Speaker 1: it's not expected to pass the GOP dominated Senate. Senate
- 33:15Speaker 1: majority leader has already Mitch McConnell already says that he's
- 33:19Speaker 1: not forty doesn't think it would be right. Republicans generally
- 33:21Speaker 1: say that increasing the federal minimum wage would force some
- 33:24Speaker 1: companies to lay off some workers, and they shouldn't do
- 33:27Speaker 1: that while the economy is so good. But then, of
- 33:29Speaker 1: course critics say, well, when are we supposed to do it?
- 33:31Speaker 1: When the economy is bad. Calls continue for New York
- 33:34Speaker 1: City Mayor to Blasio to fire police officer Daniel Pantelao.
- 33:37Speaker 1: That's the white cop involved in the death of an
- 33:39Speaker 1: elderly black man named Eric Garner, who was simply trying
- 33:41Speaker 1: to sell loose cigarettes on the street by the way,
- 33:44Speaker 1: six years ago. This week, want to be cop George
- 33:46Speaker 1: Zimmerman was acquitted of all charges by an all female,
- 33:49Speaker 1: mostly white jury, and the shooting death of an unarmed,
- 33:51Speaker 1: innocent black teenager named Treyvon Martin, sparking your national outcry
- 33:55Speaker 1: which spawned the Black Lives Matters movement. On the other hand,
- 33:58Speaker 1: in Philadelphia, where one died, officials say that thirteen local
- 34:02Speaker 1: cops are losing their jobs for making racists and other
- 34:04Speaker 1: offensive Facebook posts. The thirteen among these seventy two officers
- 34:08Speaker 1: placed on administrative duty recently after an online database shared
- 34:12Speaker 1: more than five thousand Facebook posts and comments. Some of
- 34:15Speaker 1: the post homophobic. Others suggested taking minority suspects out back
- 34:19Speaker 1: and shooting them like rabid dogs are hanging them. Besides
- 34:22Speaker 1: the thirteen who are being let go, some other cops
- 34:25Speaker 1: are being suspended for five days. Seventeen others more severely
- 34:29Speaker 1: disciplined like suspension with the intent to dismiss. Demonstrations continue
- 34:34Speaker 1: this week in Puerto Rico. In New York and other
- 34:36Speaker 1: places been of Puerto Rico protests demanding the resignation of
- 34:39Speaker 1: Puerto Rico's Republican governor Ricardo Rosejon. A whole huge amount
- 34:43Speaker 1: of recently leaked emails, about eight hundred pages of them,
- 34:47Speaker 1: showed rose Yo and his senior aids making fun of women,
- 34:51Speaker 1: the disabled, the LGBTQ community, even the victims of Hurricane Maria,
- 34:56Speaker 1: which hit their island, and there have been a few
- 34:58Speaker 1: violent classes during the demonstrations outside the governor's residence in
- 35:01Speaker 1: San Juan. A black family in California just never stops. Okay,
- 35:05Speaker 1: never stops. The black family in California says they were
- 35:07Speaker 1: racially profiled at a Nike store in Santa Monica when
- 35:11Speaker 1: a white female manager accused them of stealing a mini
- 35:14Speaker 1: basketball that they bought for their eighteen month old little son. Apparently,
- 35:18Speaker 1: the little boys started playing with the ball, so they
- 35:20Speaker 1: paid for it, and as they tried to lead the store,
- 35:22Speaker 1: the woman accused him of stealing it. They explained that
- 35:25Speaker 1: they had bought it and kept walking. She flags down
- 35:28Speaker 1: a white cop who tells the family to give him
- 35:30Speaker 1: the stolen ball. They show him the receipt proving that
- 35:34Speaker 1: they paid for it. They did go back into the store, though,
- 35:36Speaker 1: They brought the ball back, and they demanded a refund,
- 35:39Speaker 1: and they're now suing. A video of all this is
- 35:41Speaker 1: on the internet. Finally, Today's National ice Cream Day. I
- 35:47Speaker 1: love ice cream too. Now back into the Steve Harvey
- 35:49Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening to show. When you know it's
- 35:55Speaker 1: time to go back to church, it's time, you know,
- 35:58Speaker 1: when it's church. Okay, when you know it is time
- 36:03Speaker 1: to take your but that the church. Somebody needs to
- 36:08Speaker 1: lay hands on me right like now, Jesus, Jesus, how
- 36:13Speaker 1: did I get here? When you wake up and you
- 36:15Speaker 1: went somebody and you don't know their name, it is
- 36:19Speaker 1: time to sho who you talk about? Backsliding? Yeah huh?
- 36:28Speaker 1: How long we've been laying Why I got handcuffs? Try
- 36:38Speaker 1: to go back to the church. When you wake up
- 36:40Speaker 1: and this bike box, you can't explain nothing. Who I'm
- 36:47Speaker 1: doing too much? Too much? You know? It's when you
- 36:53Speaker 1: wake up and you got her phone home? What they're here?
- 36:58Speaker 1: We why you so? And it's backwards you got in
- 37:08Speaker 1: the back and in the back pard in the front.
- 37:12Speaker 1: That's the crazy, ye, crazy visual. Right, there's time for
- 37:19Speaker 1: you to go back to the church. When you're starting
- 37:21Speaker 1: to look at your boys grandmama and starting to feel sometimes,
- 37:27Speaker 1: yeah you to me, I never felt away left. You
- 37:45Speaker 1: know it's time to go back to the church. When
- 37:48Speaker 1: you see spake mark on your behind and you don't
- 37:51Speaker 1: know how they got that? Yeah, excuse me? Did you no?
- 38:00Speaker 1: And it's a man hand. It's pretty rough way. You know,
- 38:12Speaker 1: when your light's watering game get turned off the same day,
- 38:17Speaker 1: you can't do nothing. It's time. You know it's time
- 38:22Speaker 1: to go back. When you wake up and your whole
- 38:24Speaker 1: chest is peer time for you to go back to church.
- 38:40Speaker 1: You've been arguing with this fine girl for on ahead,
- 38:45Speaker 1: trying to convince her that ain't no way y'all can
- 38:49Speaker 1: be cous It's we're not really cousins. Now, come on,
- 38:56Speaker 1: how you figuring that we're aout down to the fifth fifth?
- 39:03Speaker 1: All right, more of this crazy ignorant show. Steve Harvey
- 39:07Speaker 1: Morning Show right after this. You're listening, all right, ladies
- 39:13Speaker 1: and gentlemen, get ready, we consulting an expert because we
- 39:17Speaker 1: wanted to know the real deal. Okay, Steve is here
- 39:20Speaker 1: with his breakup handbook. All right, Jesus, things that you
- 39:25Speaker 1: need to have in mind after the break up. Most
- 39:29Speaker 1: most of it is for fellas. That is because when
- 39:35Speaker 1: we take a break off hard, it's ugly. It's ugly
- 39:39Speaker 1: out there. Now. These are things from Steve Harvey's break
- 39:44Speaker 1: Up Handbook, How to act when you break up? All
- 39:51Speaker 1: right now here. Rule number one, You are allowed only
- 39:58Speaker 1: one drunk die You know how you call him up
- 40:03Speaker 1: when you drop. You only get the one. And it
- 40:08Speaker 1: sounds like something like this, Hello is me? You know
- 40:16Speaker 1: who me is? Don't play with me? You know who?
- 40:22Speaker 1: Men't play with my emotions? Who is me? You know
- 40:28Speaker 1: you know who me? I many? You get one one,
- 40:35Speaker 1: get one of them? All right. Now here's the next rule.
- 40:40Speaker 1: You are not allowed to roll up on your ex
- 40:44Speaker 1: just because you see that car parked outside the club,
- 40:48Speaker 1: the restaurant or church. Who you can't do that. We
- 40:55Speaker 1: broke up. I can't go in there, but I see
- 40:57Speaker 1: the car. You can know you can't roll up on them. Now.
- 41:03Speaker 1: I got something with church later on, but just stay
- 41:06Speaker 1: that stay out right, you girl. Can't roll up on
- 41:08Speaker 1: them Oh that she is, I'm gonna go in now,
- 41:12Speaker 1: Oh that he is. I'm going in there. You can't
- 41:14Speaker 1: do that, call, okay, allegen? All right, next one, y'all's
- 41:22Speaker 1: favorite spot. It's off limits to both parties for at
- 41:28Speaker 1: least foe months. Tell nobody else over there. At least
- 41:36Speaker 1: here's another one. Okay. Texting your favorite song to each
- 41:40Speaker 1: other is off limit. You can listen to it, you
- 41:44Speaker 1: can cry to it, you playing over and over, but
- 41:47Speaker 1: you can't send it. So I'm trying to move on
- 41:54Speaker 1: and I'm killing now. Listen to this, you all, y'all? Stuff,
- 42:07Speaker 1: all possessions is collected at one time, and one time on.
- 42:14Speaker 1: Anything that's left behind will be thrown away by both parts.
- 42:19Speaker 1: Like that, you keep coming over here looking for stuff
- 42:22Speaker 1: that you can't keep coming back over here. I got
- 42:27Speaker 1: coming to you in the closet looking for your tank top.
- 42:34Speaker 1: Keep it real. You hit a big one right here.
- 42:41Speaker 1: Nobody is allowed to talk to each other's. Mama friends
- 42:54Speaker 1: with you, and you can't be friends with mama. Come home, mama,
- 43:00Speaker 1: what d Yeah? Hit? At least that's a good one, Steve.
- 43:03Speaker 1: I like trying to pick up some greens and you
- 43:06Speaker 1: and hit talking rolling your ass when I walk into dough. Yeah,
- 43:10Speaker 1: here's the next one. Yeah, okay, all parties. She find
- 43:15Speaker 1: a new church home. Yes, but yeah, definitely, Yeah, we
- 43:21Speaker 1: can't work. I love all your friends should be divided
- 43:27Speaker 1: up equally, except the ones you hate. You can have him.
- 43:34Speaker 1: Here's another. No posting of nude pictures. Yeah, yeah, you know,
- 43:40Speaker 1: like her naked or him dressed up like the damn Easter,
- 43:44Speaker 1: but the private what about I'm gonna do. I'm gonna
- 43:52Speaker 1: finish this one old naked picture? All right? Well never
- 43:58Speaker 1: you tell me has a prank fall coming up, and
- 44:00Speaker 1: we'll finish out steams break up rules right after this.
- 44:04Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show, all right, coming up
- 44:08Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, right about four minutes
- 44:10Speaker 1: after don't Forget Today, Strawberry letter is on tap. But first,
- 44:14Speaker 1: the nephew in the building with the prank phone call Yo,
- 44:17Speaker 1: dos or doors for you, Shirley. Well, for most people,
- 44:22Speaker 1: Yo does know what he was talking about. It was
- 44:29Speaker 1: never a moment of doubt. For me, you were clear.
- 44:34Speaker 1: Who's perfectly clear? Yo? Do your doors? Hello, Hello, I'm
- 44:40Speaker 1: trying to reach a mister Paul. Please call Virginia senior,
- 44:45Speaker 1: probably senior. Okay, this is man. How are you doing today?
- 44:47Speaker 1: I'm good. I'm gonna listen. My name is Mark. I'm
- 44:49Speaker 1: actually calling from a company called Doors. Are you Are
- 44:54Speaker 1: you at court? Yes? Correct? You guys just built at home? Right? Yeah,
- 44:58Speaker 1: I'm like I said, my name is March even so
- 45:00Speaker 1: I'm actually calling from Doors. We're actually the company that
- 45:04Speaker 1: uh supplied the doors that are actually throughout your house. Okay, great,
- 45:09Speaker 1: what are you calling from? A follow up? Oh no,
- 45:10Speaker 1: this isn't a follow up. Actually, we've got a couple
- 45:13Speaker 1: of glitches we want to try and get get straighten
- 45:14Speaker 1: out if we could find uh. Well, here's here's the problem, sir.
- 45:18Speaker 1: The problem we're having is that the contractor that actually
- 45:21Speaker 1: built you all's home, yes, has not paid for the doors.
- 45:26Speaker 1: You guys have been there two and a half months
- 45:28Speaker 1: and we can't seem to get the contractor to come
- 45:32Speaker 1: in and pay for the doors. Try to call them.
- 45:35Speaker 1: We've tried to call him several times and we have
- 45:37Speaker 1: not been able to get up for the yav on him.
- 45:39Speaker 1: Because you have a good number, I can give you
- 45:41Speaker 1: a number because I really don't have anything to do
- 45:44Speaker 1: with that. It's like, how do you get my number? Well, actually,
- 45:47Speaker 1: we had your number of files as the homeowner, and
- 45:50Speaker 1: that's pretty much how we had you. But the problem
- 45:52Speaker 1: we're facing here, sir, is we've tried to get this
- 45:55Speaker 1: guy for the last couple of months and we can't
- 45:57Speaker 1: get him. So, actually, what's what's gonna happen here in
- 46:01Speaker 1: the next day or so is we're probably gonna have
- 46:03Speaker 1: to come and get all the doors. Always can do
- 46:06Speaker 1: what We're probably gonna have to come and get all
- 46:08Speaker 1: the doors in your house, take them off and bring
- 46:11Speaker 1: them back here to the plant until we get you
- 46:13Speaker 1: gonna get out of my doors. We're gonna have to
- 46:16Speaker 1: get those doors until either we get a contractor or
- 46:19Speaker 1: you know, we get paid for the doors. Now, what
- 46:21Speaker 1: could happen is you could pay for the doors. No, no, no,
- 46:24Speaker 1: already paid for the doors. That's that's that's past tense.
- 46:27Speaker 1: I've done that, paid you, saint. Paying that means I
- 46:30Speaker 1: got a double back. Well, sir, we haven't been paid,
- 46:33Speaker 1: sir for the doors as well. No, no, no, the
- 46:35Speaker 1: contractor was paid for the doors. That's who paid you. Okay,
- 46:40Speaker 1: And what I'm trying to explain to you, sir, we
- 46:41Speaker 1: haven't been paid at all? Here at doors? Now at all? Oh? Okay,
- 46:47Speaker 1: well at doing they should have received a check from
- 46:50Speaker 1: my contract and misleading you, sir, is that that hasn't
- 46:54Speaker 1: been done since you have not been paid. You're gonna
- 46:57Speaker 1: come back and get my doors out? You said. We Now,
- 46:59Speaker 1: who's all this? You? And who are the gonna come?
- 47:02Speaker 1: Here's the problem here? Like, no, no, there ain't no problems.
- 47:04Speaker 1: We're gonna we're gonna resolve this very peacefully. But who
- 47:07Speaker 1: who is we? Okay? So what's taking place here? My
- 47:10Speaker 1: job is they've taken this money out of my check
- 47:13Speaker 1: that hasn't been paid for the doors. Oh yes, I
- 47:16Speaker 1: can understand that, but why would they take it out
- 47:18Speaker 1: of your check? You did the man hours, you you've
- 47:19Speaker 1: done your work. Why I don't understanding, sir. But since
- 47:22Speaker 1: the company hasn't been paid, the company is taking it
- 47:25Speaker 1: out on me and it's not gonna come down on me.
- 47:27Speaker 1: So either I'm gonna get the doors. Well, you need
- 47:29Speaker 1: to quit your job because they ain't gonna because they
- 47:32Speaker 1: need to give you a not just give you a bonus,
- 47:34Speaker 1: but give you some our only work. Because bottom line
- 47:36Speaker 1: is you're talking about company to getting my doors. No
- 47:39Speaker 1: that's not gonna happen either we resolve this peacefully as
- 47:42Speaker 1: if you pay for it, or I come out and
- 47:44Speaker 1: get the doors and I'm not fin the city and
- 47:46Speaker 1: go back. You need to go in and come get
- 47:49Speaker 1: these doors. Gas up and come get these doorscause you're
- 47:51Speaker 1: not gonna come and get this. I'm not gonna send
- 47:53Speaker 1: you no money, okay, sir. Then then then what we
- 47:56Speaker 1: need to do is get a schedule time where I
- 47:57Speaker 1: can come out and get all the doors all your time.
- 48:00Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm on your time now, so you got this.
- 48:02Speaker 1: You must be paying me now since I'm on your time,
- 48:05Speaker 1: what are you talking about? Because you're talking about you're
- 48:07Speaker 1: gonna set up a time with me. That means I
- 48:09Speaker 1: have to leave and do what I do to be
- 48:11Speaker 1: meet you here to get something don't belong to you,
- 48:13Speaker 1: which is my door, So you don't have to be
- 48:15Speaker 1: there at all, because I'm gonna say, I'm gonna come
- 48:17Speaker 1: in and take the front door off and I'm gonna
- 48:19Speaker 1: keep keep moving through the house and get all the
- 48:21Speaker 1: doors and get them back here to the player. I
- 48:23Speaker 1: don't think you hear yourself now first and for almost
- 48:25Speaker 1: how you when you coming to the front door. I'm
- 48:27Speaker 1: gonna be without waiting on you as you as you
- 48:30Speaker 1: taking off the lads, I'm gonna be on your behind
- 48:32Speaker 1: making sure you realize you're gonna have to take this
- 48:34Speaker 1: door or take this and I'm taking I'm pretty show
- 48:37Speaker 1: I'm coming to you and you get that first door.
- 48:39Speaker 1: So I can't keep going back and forth with you.
- 48:41Speaker 1: Let me say this to you. I'm coming to get
- 48:43Speaker 1: them doors, even if I got to take a because
- 48:46Speaker 1: I gotta get my money back from the company that
- 48:48Speaker 1: they that took from me, because your damn contractor did
- 48:51Speaker 1: not pay for the damn door. Say you better, hey,
- 48:53Speaker 1: bringing your turns down when you talk to me, you're
- 48:55Speaker 1: talking to a girl. Man, I'm gonna I'm gonna put
- 48:58Speaker 1: this on you. I'm not gonna how you to come
- 49:00Speaker 1: in my halls and take these damn doors and you
- 49:02Speaker 1: ain't coming to getting no money. I'm coming to get
- 49:05Speaker 1: them doors that I'm coming to get them today. I
- 49:07Speaker 1: need every lo What time you're coming. I want to
- 49:10Speaker 1: be repaid when you come next with these doors, because
- 49:13Speaker 1: I make so. Please what time you're coming. Don't don't
- 49:16Speaker 1: worry about when I'm coming. You don't know when I'm there.
- 49:17Speaker 1: When I take the first door off the heads every door,
- 49:21Speaker 1: we're gonna meet at that door. I'mna whok that and
- 49:23Speaker 1: tell you what I'm gonna pay you. I'm playing dollar equipment.
- 49:27Speaker 1: Now take that check and gonna take that inside whipping
- 49:30Speaker 1: the night. I'm gonna take that, hope if that's what
- 49:32Speaker 1: it take. But I gotta take this door. You want
- 49:34Speaker 1: get my money? I mean you to do next time,
- 49:36Speaker 1: get your damn money. Stop, get a job to pay
- 49:39Speaker 1: you better for this equipment. You're gonna get it in
- 49:41Speaker 1: fed well, I'm not sure. I'm not gonna keep going
- 49:44Speaker 1: back and forth with you about you whooping by any more.
- 49:47Speaker 1: That is the end. Ray take this wimen and take
- 49:50Speaker 1: it on home. But I'm bringing them doors to every
- 49:53Speaker 1: door track. You should have been calling a contract killing
- 50:00Speaker 1: on some dude from from my damn call. Now I'm
- 50:02Speaker 1: telling you what you need to be calling him. He
- 50:04Speaker 1: got me to get a hippy dough you got in
- 50:06Speaker 1: that home? May that number? I tell you what you
- 50:08Speaker 1: know what I do? I just want do you go

- 50:23Speaker 1: your mama running on them doing and you know what
- 50:26Speaker 1: else I'm coming to do what I'm coming to tell
- 50:29Speaker 1: you who I am? You do you know who I am?
- 50:32Speaker 1: I know who you are? Working. I'm not sure. I
- 50:35Speaker 1: just does myself. You aren't come get it. I can't

- 53:38Speaker 1: All right, nephew, let's go just like this one. Here
- 53:40Speaker 1: we go. Buckle up, hold on tight, we gotta full you.
- 53:43Speaker 1: Here it is Strawberry Letter. Subject I have tried, but
- 53:47Speaker 1: I'm not being satisfied. Dear's Steve and miss Strawberry. I
- 53:51Speaker 1: have been dating my boyfriend for over a year and
- 53:54Speaker 1: I love him so much. We hardly ever argue or
- 53:57Speaker 1: fight because we live an hour away from me each other,
- 54:01Speaker 1: so when we are together, we make the best of
- 54:03Speaker 1: our time. We do everything together except one big thing.
- 54:08Speaker 1: When we do see each other, I always find a
- 54:10Speaker 1: way to avoid having sex with him. He is very handsome,
- 54:15Speaker 1: but when it comes to the bedroom, he just doesn't
- 54:18Speaker 1: have it. I hardly ever get in the mood with him.
- 54:22Speaker 1: He doesn't complain much, but I can tell he gets frustrated.
- 54:26Speaker 1: Sometimes I just lie there and fake moan and lie
- 54:29Speaker 1: about how good he is in bed. He said it
- 54:32Speaker 1: makes him feel good when I give him feedback. I
- 54:35Speaker 1: feel bad for saying this, but he is lacking in
- 54:38Speaker 1: the packing. I blame Steve because I waited for six months.
- 54:43Speaker 1: It's right there in bullprint. I blame Steve because I
- 54:47Speaker 1: waited for six months before we were intimate, just to
- 54:50Speaker 1: later find out that the sex is bad. I often
- 54:54Speaker 1: find myself thinking of a man from my past while
- 54:57Speaker 1: I'm intimate with my boyfriend. Friends have been giving me
- 55:01Speaker 1: hints that he is going to propose to me soon,
- 55:03Speaker 1: so I just want to know, what can I do
- 55:06Speaker 1: to make our bedroom life better so I can marry
- 55:09Speaker 1: this good man and live happily ever after? Is this
- 55:12Speaker 1: even possible? Please help? I don't want to deal with
- 55:15Speaker 1: this every night. You pretty much answered your own letter
- 55:19Speaker 1: your own letter when you said I don't want to
- 55:21Speaker 1: deal with this every night happily ever after? I mean, yeah,
- 55:25Speaker 1: that's possible in fairy tales, and this is real life.
- 55:28Speaker 1: This is not a fairy tale. I don't want you
- 55:30Speaker 1: to marry this man just out of obligation or just
- 55:33Speaker 1: because he asks you. You have to marry him because
- 55:35Speaker 1: you love him, and you, guys, think you can make
- 55:37Speaker 1: a future together and have a great life together, not
- 55:40Speaker 1: because of some obligation you feel toward him. But you
- 55:45Speaker 1: lie to him to make him feel good. What about
- 55:48Speaker 1: your feelings? Why can't you tell him in a nice
- 55:51Speaker 1: way what you need in this relationship if you're going
- 55:54Speaker 1: to marry him, Steve, she's mad at you. Go ahead,
- 55:58Speaker 1: but she mentioned your name? Ain't you Steve? What you
- 56:05Speaker 1: blaming Steve? Because you made her weight? She said, you know,
- 56:13Speaker 1: anybody told you what to weight on. I'll get to
- 56:16Speaker 1: that in a second. I've tried, but I'm not being satisfy.
- 56:21Speaker 1: You know how many letters we get from women who
- 56:25Speaker 1: just upset because they dude ain't packing, he ain't bringing.
- 56:30Speaker 1: You know how many times we've had this letter, Chully? What? Yeah, yeah,
- 56:35Speaker 1: what are you doing? Why? See, I'll be paying attention
- 56:38Speaker 1: to No, you ain't gonna drift off while I'm doing this.
- 56:42Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I did you know, but you're gonna do
- 56:45Speaker 1: it like I'm the dude in the letter. You just bored.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Now you just off trying to occupy your mind with
- 56:54Speaker 1: your it you all on Instagram. All right, I'm back,
- 57:01Speaker 1: I'm back. I'm focused, Steve, I'm focused. I've been dating
- 57:04Speaker 1: for over a year and you just love him so much.
- 57:08Speaker 1: Down Ever, all fight CAUs they live all way from
- 57:11Speaker 1: each other, so when we get together, they just make
- 57:14Speaker 1: the best of day time. We do everything together except
- 57:16Speaker 1: one big thing. When we do see each other, I
- 57:19Speaker 1: always find a way to avoid having sex with him.
- 57:23Speaker 1: He's very handsome, or when it comes to the bedroom,
- 57:27Speaker 1: he just don't have it. Well, I think one of
- 57:29Speaker 1: the reasons he ain't having it it's because you keep
- 57:32Speaker 1: aboarding him. The man can't practice. That could be one thing,
- 57:37Speaker 1: but let's read deeper. I hardly ever get in the
- 57:40Speaker 1: mood with him, that cause he don't know nothing about
- 57:43Speaker 1: folk play. See getting in the mood is folk play.
- 57:47Speaker 1: See all this stuff y'all doing, going shopping and all
- 57:50Speaker 1: is here. Y'all need to be doing something that to
- 57:52Speaker 1: work towards the culmination of the evening, make your afternoons
- 57:56Speaker 1: a little bit more special. He doesn't complain much, but
- 58:00Speaker 1: I can tell he gets frustrated because sometimes I just
- 58:04Speaker 1: lay down and I fake moan and I lie about
- 58:07Speaker 1: how good he is in bed. He said it makes
- 58:10Speaker 1: him feel good when I give him feedback. I feel
- 58:13Speaker 1: bad for saying this, but he's lacking in the packet. Well,
- 58:17Speaker 1: see you fake moaning? What he means he say he
- 58:21Speaker 1: feels good when he gets feedback. Stop lying to the maga,
- 58:27Speaker 1: thank you? See you are uh think he's really doing something?
- 58:33Speaker 1: Oh lord, change that to this hill. So what fucking
- 58:40Speaker 1: her teeth? Do that one time? Like she's bored her mind?
- 58:45Speaker 1: Why he doing it? Paint your nails, Reach up on
- 58:49Speaker 1: the nice stay and get some water. Checking emails, text
- 58:54Speaker 1: your mama, call your girlfriend. That's how you let him
- 58:57Speaker 1: know he ain't doing nothing. He's on the phone while
- 59:00Speaker 1: he's doing your mom. You're gonna church this Sunday. Yeah,
- 59:05Speaker 1: check him counter paint your nails? Why he doing it?
- 59:10Speaker 1: Why he doing it? Take that finished sheet and fit
- 59:13Speaker 1: it back on one of the corner because they always
- 59:16Speaker 1: come on. She's up out of the bed, now, you know,
- 59:19Speaker 1: because that's when you really aint. She just got him thought,
- 59:23Speaker 1: just why in that stoking up the bed with him? Idiot?
- 59:29Speaker 1: Take that finish heat, put it back on that cold
- 59:31Speaker 1: that's the first day. Come up, all right, Steve. Yeah,
- 59:36Speaker 1: we're gonna have part two of Steve's response when we
- 59:39Speaker 1: come back at twenty three after the hour. You're listening,
- 59:44Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Come on, let's get to part two
- 59:46Speaker 1: of your response to today's Strawberry letter. I have tried,
- 59:50Speaker 1: but I'm not being satisfied. Satisfied, come home, boy, ain't
- 59:55Speaker 1: got it. He don't do what he posted. Do now
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: you all in here just laying that fake moning. You
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: lie about how good it is. I said, he said
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: to make him feel good when he giving feedback. I
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: told you some stuff you can do, you say, but
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: he's lacking in the packing. Then the line right after
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: that is I blame Steve. Let's get to it. Finally
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: blame you. I blame Steve your because I waited six
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: months before we were intimate, just to later find out
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: that the sexist bad. Well, waiting six months, six weeks,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: or six years ain't the reason the sexiest bad. And
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: it ain't because I told you to wait on it.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: You can't blame me. And you said for little fella's
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: inability to perform and bring the heat. Because if he
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: knew me, you wouldn't be in this damn letter he did,
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: Uncle Steve did, This wouldn't even be damn letter. You
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: would be somewhere trying to catch your breath, pull yourself together.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: You'd be somewhere calling in to work. I said ninety days,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: just to be clear. Now, I don't give it. I
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: put fresh on people. Uncle Steve was in the pressure
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: braining bitch up in the back of your head somewhere. Yeah. Nothing.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: I make all for the corners, come up off the
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: sheet and fitted sheets, all for the corner. But she's
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: still in there. She's up fixing the making the bed.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: Hell no, you ain't up trying to climb out. I
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: have you looking like Eddie Murphy and the nuttie Professor.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: When Dave Chappelle was cracking on his marble and he
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: tried to climb out that booth. You know what I
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: had you day. Are you sitting in the barber chest
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: spinning yourself a run? Then what I was doing. I
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: don't actually have sparks coming off the sheet from where
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: my toes were slipping off getting tracked. You don't understand.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: I blame Steve. If your man was me, you wouldn't
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: have a damn letter on the headboard somewhere. You got
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: it going on, husty, Shelly, Shelly, Listen to me, girl,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: I don't know what I'm doing to hell. You've heard
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: a lot of things about me on the hand of neck,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: but you ever heard that that ain't been out there.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: They can't even put that out. They don't good in hell. Well,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: Steve answers praying to me, I don't need what is
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: he doing money? Ain't doing nothing? He sound like a man,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: So it don't sound good at all. Somewhere, man, all
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: the stuff out and done in my life I'm talking
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: about you. Blame Steve. Could have yourself in a real relationship.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: You knew what I knew. So looking at the bottom,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: looking looking for water bottles, what do you need? What's
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: the water bottles for? Set up in here? Just thirst?
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: You don't even understand the stuff out of? I had
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: out of, had people bring lunch cooler or eglood set

- 1:04:15Speaker 1: Just in case? Well, okay, Steve, So what should she tell?
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: What does she need to tell him to do? First
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: of all, you can't man him. Small packages can't held
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: unless well tell us Tommy, Hey, no I'm not in that.

- 1:04:46Speaker 1: bad timing. That sounds like you were speaking out. Yeah,
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: for a sertain group of people. So give him some advice, Steve, seriously,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: now both Yeah, she needs to know what to tell.

- 1:06:14Speaker 1: who's right or wrong. Tommy is always the one who
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: wants to know whether he's right or wrong. Now, so
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: far it has been a ninety that he has been wrong. Well,
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: I think ten percent of the time I have agreed

- 1:08:13Speaker 1: Right where you get that from? Okay, we explain this then, Tommy,

- 1:08:40Speaker 1: damn dog your father, which is very good, I might ask. Okay,
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: so what have we learned? What have we learned to
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: be thinking by you're listening to? Here's how to get
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: into the mood in advance to make sex more amazing.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: Don't look bored like you already know this, Steve, Okay,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: like you don't need any help in this area. Look
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: at all the guys in the room like yes, yes,
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: like they could have written all the stuff about me. Hey, okay,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: first of all, get in the mood. Time to start
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: thinking about what's going to turn you on later. So
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: that's how you get in the mood. You start thinking
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: about what's going to turn you on later. Okay, say
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: it's now. You know, when we get up, you start
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: thinking about it now. So by the time we get
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: up work and you get home, you tell me what
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: I mention it. Hey, we're gonna do something when we
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: get home. Yeah, that's enough, easy, stop stop everything you do.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: Promise me something. You know we've been turning me on. La.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: I've been catching her and I don't know what it is.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: When I catch her animal, I just, boy, when I
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: catch her hand, it just it happens right there at
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: the animals, because some kids don't really come into the
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: launching part of them. Boy, we'd be right there animal
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: the whole weight. Man. I like, I like, I like
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: when you're walking up the steps and I'm behind. That's it.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: The game name makes sense. Ironing is not sexy. So
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: you boy, when my baby leaning over behind him, God,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: that is the greatest thing in the world. Now, I'd
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: be like these pills. It's on forty five damn dollars,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: I'm going down. Do you have to hear about these
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: pills every time, the cost of the pills, all of that,
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: every time, every single time. Yes, okay, so here's another
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: here's another tip, so you know, when you're thinking about
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: it early, start texting, because it takes women a little longer.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: We're not as ready set go as you guys, so
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: it takes us a long time to warr you know,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: longer time to warm up to get where you guys
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: already are. And I have another problem with that because
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: I'm such a bad speller. And then I tick, I'm
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: gonna ted that grass up and time almost she's looking
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: at her like what she gonna say ain't good? Because
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: I mean asking you to call let that garbage. Okay,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: So they say eat frisky friendly foods, you know, like um,
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: like oysters, things like that. You know, the foods that
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: say that they're aphrodisiacs. Don't eat the rito. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: they don't want you to eat learn cool wrench on
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: your breath. It's not cool. It smells a lot like
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: a rint. Cools your breath do smell like a rinch.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: Ain't nothing cool. But that's exactly what they says. Avoid
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: foods that cause bloating and bad breath. That's exactly what.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: The cigars are not helpful, no at all. No, boy,
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: you don't know how many time you love your cigars. Yeah,

- 1:13:37Speaker 1: then you know, I go eat something cool and refreshing. Men,
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: but don't come in there at all with cigar brow no,

- 1:15:48Speaker 1: You know when it's time. It's a ba church. Okay,
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: when you know it is time to take your butt
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: to church, somebody needs to lay hands on me right
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: like now, Jesus, Jesus, how did I get here? When
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: you wake up and you with somebody and you don't
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: know their name, it is time to sho who you
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: talk about? Backslid? Yeah? Yeah, how long we've been laying
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: Why I got handcuffs? Yeah? You know, try to go
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: back to church. When you wake up and this bike
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: box you can't explain nothing. Who I'm doing too much?
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: I'm doing too much? You know. It's when you wake
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: up and you got her phone home? What to here?
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: We why? And it's backwards you got in the bast
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: and in the back, pard in the front. It's a
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: crazy visual help crazy visual right there that it's time
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: for you to go back to the church. When you're
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: starting to look at your boys grandmama and starting to
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: feel sometime. Yeah, you me, I never felt away. You
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: know it's time to go back to the church. When
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: you see spake mark on your behind and you don't
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: know how they got that. Yeah, you can't excuse me?
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: Did you no? And it's a man hand. It's pretty rough.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: Tell way, you know what's time to church. When your
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: lights water and gave get turned the same day, you
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: can't do nothing time. You know it's time to go back.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: When you wake up and your whole chest is peer
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: time for you to go back to church. You've been
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: arguing with this fine girl for on ahead, trying to
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: convince hard. It ain't no way y'all can be cused.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: It's we're not really cousin's now, come on, how you
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: figuring that? We out down fifth? Fifth? All right? Steve
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: coming up closing remarks right after this, you're listening morning show.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: All right, Here we are, Steve, last break of the
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: day for this beautiful Friday. Take us into the weekend
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: with some lovely inspiring closing remarks. Let's go all right.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: I chose this one today because I think it's important
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: for people to understand this. You know, comparing yourself to
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: other people's success is very dangerous because it puts you
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: in a position I'm never really paying close enough attention
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: to where you are. It's not you should not rate
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: your success on the success of other people. I'll tell
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: you why. Let me give you a saying that's in
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: a proverb. I'm priaraphrasing a proverb. Success isn't how far
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: you got, but the distance you travel from where you started.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: Listen to, success isn't how far you got, but the
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: distance you travel from where you started. See, some people
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: don't know how to measure their success. If you keep
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: putting it up against somebody else, somebody else may have
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: been doing it longer than you, somebody else may have
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: another gift of talent than you. If you're always comparing
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: yourself to somebody else, you're gonna come up short, and
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: you'll never really realize that you too, have your own
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: level of success. And you should relish in that, you
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: should be proud in that, you should show gratitude in that.
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: But if you always looking at what somebody else is doing,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: you ain't gonna ever be happy with yourself. And that's
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: a miserable position to put yourself in. Success is not
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: how far you got, but the distance you travel from
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: where you started. You've heard old people say in church,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: I ain't where I want to be, but I think
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: the Lord, I ain't where I was. See, you gotta
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: look at it like that. You gotta calm silly, take
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: inventory of your life that way. That's why I say
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: all the time, listen to me. Life is not a game.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: It's a contest. See if you look at life as
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: a game. If I look at life as a game,
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: and I look at Oprah Winfreed or Tyler Perry, and
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: I look at how much money they make, then it's
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: a game and I consider them winning. If I consider
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: Oprah winning or Tyler winning, then guess what I must
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: be losing. I must be losing because I'm not where
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: they are. So if life were a game, games have
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: winners and losers, you can't look at life like that.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: Life that life ain't filled with winners and losers. If
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: I look at where I started and I look at
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: where I've gotten to, I win. That's why I say
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: life ain't a game. Life is a contest. See, a
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: contest is different. You ever been to the fai everybody
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: can get a blue ribbon at the family. You just
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: gotta get in your right category. Somebody to get the
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: blue ribbon for biggest squash, Somebody to get the blue
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: ribbon for best server, Somebody to get the best best
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: can corn. Somebody to get a blue ribbon with the
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: best sheep, Somebody to get a blue ribbon with the
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: fattest hug, somebody to get a blue ribbon from making
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: the best apples. So just get in your lane and
