- 0:01Speaker 1: All right, if you're running for office or you're looking
- 0:04Speaker 1: at somebody to vote for come November, I am going
- 0:07Speaker 1: to explain to.
- 0:08Speaker 2: You the type of people we need in Washington.
- 0:12Speaker 1: And when I say need, I'm talking about people that
- 0:14Speaker 1: actually care, that actually take their time to ask thoughtful questions,
- 0:19Speaker 1: that actually aren't there self serving and just putting out propaganda. Now,
- 0:23Speaker 1: I say this because I'm going to play for you
- 0:26Speaker 1: in a moment two different things that happened the last
- 0:29Speaker 1: twenty four hours, both very different issues.
- 0:32Speaker 2: One dealing with global warming.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Another issue dealing with a judicial nominee, both obviously important issues. Now,
- 0:41Speaker 1: there are a lot of deadbeat Republicans in Washington, d C.
- 0:45Speaker 1: There are actually some Republicans that have been elected that
- 0:47Speaker 1: are honestly, really stupid. There are a lot of Democrats
- 0:51Speaker 1: that have been elected that are extremely stupid as.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Well, and I expect them to be stupid.
- 0:54Speaker 1: But I do expect Republicans and Conservatives to be at
- 0:58Speaker 1: a higher level than the lowest common de nominated with
- 1:00Speaker 1: the Democratic Party. Now, I say this because there are
- 1:04Speaker 1: certain centers that are just special. One of those that
- 1:08Speaker 1: I'm going to play for you is John Kennedy. John
- 1:10Speaker 1: Kennedy from Louisiana is a guy that if he's asking
- 1:13Speaker 1: you questions, you'd better be paying attention before his committee.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Democrats are trying to spend fifty trillion dollars, not billion,
- 1:24Speaker 1: fifty trillion dollars for the United States of America to
- 1:28Speaker 1: become carbon neutral. They held a hearing about this and
- 1:33Speaker 1: they had expert witnesses that were called to tell Congress
- 1:37Speaker 1: why we should spend fifty trillion dollars to become carbon
- 1:42Speaker 1: neutral in America. One of the Democratic witnesses they brought
- 1:47Speaker 1: before the committee with someone that Senator Kennedy wanted to
- 1:50Speaker 1: ask some questions of. This is a quote expert witness.
- 1:54Speaker 1: These aren't just random people that are there. This is
- 1:56Speaker 1: one of their expert witnesses, and this witness is there
- 2:00Speaker 1: to tell Senator Kennedy and the rest of America why
- 2:02Speaker 1: we should spend fifty trillion dollars to become carbon neutral
- 2:08Speaker 1: in just a couple of years.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Take a listen to what then ensued.
- 2:12Speaker 3: What is what is carbon dioxide?
- 2:17Speaker 4: I'm I went to high school, but that's uh. Carbon
- 2:20Speaker 4: dioxide is a guess. Okay, I'm not I'm not a
- 2:26Speaker 4: I'm not.
- 2:26Speaker 5: A professional to talk about carbon dioxide so much.
- 2:29Speaker 1: But well you, by the way, let me tell you
- 2:32Speaker 1: who's talking. This is a guy whose name played in
- 2:35Speaker 1: front of him, says mister gush Schumacher. Mister Gus is
- 2:39Speaker 1: an American cross country skier.
- 2:43Speaker 2: And an Olympian.
- 2:45Speaker 1: This guy, who is an expert, just says, hey, I'm
- 2:48Speaker 1: not an expert. Now that's not a good start, right.
- 2:52Speaker 1: It gets a hell of a lot worse. Before I
- 2:55Speaker 1: play the rest of this, I want to tell you
- 2:56Speaker 1: about my friend's over at Patriot Mobile. And for ten years,
- 2:58Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile has been the America's only Christian conservative wireless provider.
- 3:03Speaker 1: And if you've got a cell phone right now and
- 3:05Speaker 1: you're with Big Mobile, you need to switch now, because
- 3:07Speaker 1: when you pay your bill, you're actually supporting the Democrats
- 3:11Speaker 1: in this election coming up, Yes you are. Big Mobile

- 3:19Speaker 1: well as candidates running at the local, state, and national level.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Big Mobile gives big donations to Plan Parenthood year after
- 3:27Speaker 1: year after year. That is where your money is going
- 3:30Speaker 1: when you pay your bill. If you're like me and
- 3:33Speaker 1: you say enough is enough, switch to Patriot Mobile. I
- 3:36Speaker 1: look down on my phone. I have the word Patriot
- 3:38Speaker 1: in my top left corner. I know I'm making a difference.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile offers you dependable nationwide coverage, giving you the
- 3:45Speaker 1: ability to access all three major networks out there, which
- 3:49Speaker 1: means you get the same coverage you've been accustomed to
- 3:51Speaker 1: without funding the Left. And when you switch to Patriot Mobile,
- 3:54Speaker 1: about five percent of your bill every single month is
- 3:58Speaker 1: given back to support organizations that stand for free speech,
- 4:01Speaker 1: that stand for religious freedom, that stand up for the
- 4:04Speaker 1: sanctity of life, as well as our Second Amendment. And
- 4:07Speaker 1: then part of your bill every month will go to
- 4:10Speaker 1: support our military, our veterans, our wounded warriors, and our
- 4:14Speaker 1: first responder heroes. Now you're doing all this every time

- 4:44Speaker 1: slash Ben. All Right, I want to get back to
- 4:47Speaker 1: this back and forth again.
- 4:48Speaker 2: This is a expert.
- 4:50Speaker 1: This is a guy who you're supposed to be Congress
- 4:53Speaker 1: and the American people are supposed to be listening to.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Mister Gus, an American cross country skier and Olympian. He says, well,
- 5:00Speaker 1: I'm not an expert on carbon dioxide. The dim witness
- 5:04Speaker 1: did say, it's a huge part of our atmosphere, is it.
- 5:09Speaker 1: It's actually a very small part of our atmosphere about
- 5:12Speaker 1: zero point zero three five percent.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Keep listening.
- 5:15Speaker 3: You want us to abolish it? Right?
- 5:18Speaker 5: No, There's always going to be carbon dioxide.
- 5:21Speaker 6: Right, So what is it you want us to do?
- 5:26Speaker 6: Let me back up, because I want to. I mean,
- 5:29Speaker 6: you're here as an expert, tell me more about what
- 5:32Speaker 6: carbon dioxide is.
- 5:34Speaker 4: I'm here as an expert cross country skier who sees
- 5:37Speaker 4: the changes in my winters and the landscape that I
- 5:42Speaker 4: live in Alaska, and so carbon dioxide is what I
- 5:46Speaker 4: see it as is you know, it's a gas that
- 5:48Speaker 4: exists in our atmosphere, and is.
- 5:51Speaker 3: It the major part of our atmosphere?
- 5:53Speaker 5: It's a huge part of our atmosphere.
- 5:55Speaker 3: It's actually very small part of our atmosphere.
- 5:58Speaker 4: Well, okay, but yeah, I don't know what are you
- 6:03Speaker 4: asking specifically?
- 6:05Speaker 6: Well, you say we need to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
- 6:09Speaker 6: I'd like to know first if you know what it
- 6:11Speaker 6: is you want us to abolish fossil fuels.
- 6:15Speaker 5: I never said that.
- 6:16Speaker 3: You never have said that.
- 6:17Speaker 6: No, okay, what do you think we ought to do
- 6:20Speaker 6: with fossil fuels?
- 6:22Speaker 5: What will we do with fossil fuels?
- 6:24Speaker 3: Yeah, should we make any changes?
- 6:26Speaker 4: I would like to see a decrease in the use
- 6:28Speaker 4: of fossil fuels. I think there's a possibility to use
- 6:32Speaker 4: more electric generation.
- 6:33Speaker 6: Over over what period of time? Ten years, fifty years,
- 6:37Speaker 6: one hundred years.
- 6:39Speaker 4: That's not I would like to see it come as
- 6:41Speaker 4: fast as possible.
- 6:42Speaker 5: While continuing how fast, sorry, how fast?
- 6:48Speaker 6: I don't have a you don't know for that, No, okay,
- 6:50Speaker 6: you just think, well, how much will it cost for
- 6:54Speaker 6: us to become carbon neutral in the United States by
- 6:58Speaker 6: two thousand and fifty.
- 7:00Speaker 5: I'm not a professional on that.
- 7:01Speaker 3: I don't have any You don't have any idea. No,
- 7:04Speaker 3: you just think we all to spend the money.
- 7:06Speaker 5: I'm not an economist.
- 7:07Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's going to cost money. You were lass that.
- 7:11Speaker 4: Yeah, but we've also talked about the trade off of
- 7:14Speaker 4: what the cost of climate change as emergencies will cost
- 7:18Speaker 4: in the future.
- 7:18Speaker 6: Also, so right, but it's going to cost trillions of
- 7:21Speaker 6: dollars come carbon neutral by twenty thy fifty.
- 7:24Speaker 4: Right.
- 7:26Speaker 5: I do not know.
- 7:27Speaker 3: You don't know. You just think we all to do it.
- 7:30Speaker 5: I don't have a great answer for you.
- 7:33Speaker 7: But I think if we spent if we spent those
- 7:36Speaker 7: trains of dollars and became carbon neutral by twenty and
- 7:39Speaker 7: fifty in the United States, which you advocate, how much
- 7:45Speaker 7: will reduce world temperatures.
- 7:48Speaker 5: I don't have an answer for that.
- 7:50Speaker 6: You don't know, No, you just think we all to
- 7:52Speaker 6: spend the money and then see what happens.
- 7:55Speaker 4: I think, as an athlete, I think if we spend
- 7:58Speaker 4: that money and invest in our future, hopefully those temperatures
- 8:03Speaker 4: stop rising and maybe the snow at least stabilizes where
- 8:06Speaker 4: it is for me. But yeah, I don't think anyone
- 8:09Speaker 4: knows for sure.
- 8:10Speaker 5: I don't know anyway.
- 8:11Speaker 6: Well, when my colleagues invite witnesses to come to us
- 8:16Speaker 6: to tell us advise us on passing legislation, always check
- 8:21Speaker 6: out the background of our witnesses, because I'd like to
- 8:25Speaker 6: know who I'm talking to. I checked yours out in
- 8:29Speaker 6: mister Schumacher, and I want to be sure I understand
- 8:33Speaker 6: it as I valuate your testimony. On June eighth, twenty twenty,
- 8:40Speaker 6: you tweeted, I'm going to quote the war on drugs
- 8:46Speaker 6: was intentionally created to incarcerate black people? On Moss end
- 8:52Speaker 6: quote the war on drugs, you said, was intentionally created
- 8:57Speaker 6: to incarcerate black people? Moss who intentionally created the war
- 9:03Speaker 6: on drugs to put black people in jail?
- 9:05Speaker 3: Who were you talking?
- 9:06Speaker 5: I don't remember typing that.
- 9:08Speaker 3: You don't know it's on your Twitter feed?
- 9:11Speaker 5: Maybe a retweet. I don't know. I haven't used that
- 9:13Speaker 5: in a while.
- 9:14Speaker 6: Well, even if it's a retweet, it shows your support, right.
- 9:19Speaker 4: Maybe, Yeah, But it's not the topic of this conversation though.
- 9:23Speaker 6: Right, right, But it has to do with you're here
- 9:26Speaker 6: giving us advice, and I just kind of like to
- 9:28Speaker 6: know a little bit more about you.
- 9:30Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, I mean, I'm here as an athlete
- 9:32Speaker 4: giving you my story and what I've seen in my.
- 9:37Speaker 6: On August twenty seventh of twenty twenty, you tweeted this quote.
- 9:43Speaker 6: I'm gonna quote police are paid with taxpayer dollars. If
- 9:48Speaker 6: they are not answerable to us, we can demand new service.
- 9:51Speaker 3: And that's what this is.
- 9:53Speaker 6: Abolish the police in favor of that new service.
- 9:57Speaker 3: End quote. You think well to bile some police, do you?
- 10:01Speaker 5: Again? Not the topic I'm here to talk about today.
- 10:03Speaker 3: I know, but you tweeted do you think we ought
- 10:05Speaker 3: to about some police?
- 10:07Speaker 5: That's not what I'm here to talk about.
- 10:08Speaker 6: Should we do that before or after we get rid
- 10:11Speaker 6: of fossil fuels. I'm not going to a dress that
- 10:16Speaker 6: you don't want to address it.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Okay, we need more people that are elected office to
- 10:25Speaker 1: do what Senator Kennedy just did. You're an expert. This
- 10:29Speaker 1: is who the Democrats brought to Congress to give us
- 10:32Speaker 1: all of this information. Giving us all this information, ask
- 10:39Speaker 1: them questions. They can't answer the damn questions because they're
- 10:43Speaker 1: not experts. They're activists, they're radicals, they're extremists. And by
- 10:47Speaker 1: the way, they don't even know how much carbon accid
- 10:51Speaker 1: is in the atmosphere, which they're saying.
- 10:53Speaker 2: We just spend fifty trillion dollars to get rid of
- 10:59Speaker 2: Senator Kennedy. By the way, wasn't done asking tough questions.
- 11:04Speaker 1: He obviously decimated this kid, this young adult, whatever you
- 11:09Speaker 1: want to call him, This olympian, right, who's telling us
- 11:11Speaker 1: we had to spend fifty trillion dollars to get carbon
- 11:13Speaker 1: neutral and doesn't even know how much carbon dioxide's in
- 11:16Speaker 1: the atmosphere.
- 11:17Speaker 2: But we'll move on from that. Right, let's move to
- 11:20Speaker 2: something else. It's even a bigger deal.
- 11:21Speaker 4: Now.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Granted, spending fifty trillion dollars is a big deal, but
- 11:25Speaker 1: let's talk about judicial nominees. Senator Kennedy had a lady
- 11:29Speaker 1: by the name of she is a judge. Judge Nancy L.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Maldonado was in front of him. She is a Biden
- 11:37Speaker 1: judicial nominee, and he decided, I'm going to.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Ask her some questions.
- 11:42Speaker 1: And the nominee struggled to define what an assault weapon was.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Yet she is on the record is saying she wants
- 11:50Speaker 1: to abolish all assault weapons in America. And this is
- 11:54Speaker 1: a judge that you could be in front of in
- 11:56Speaker 1: a court one day. Listen to how this went.
- 12:00Speaker 6: You said, quote, assault weapons may be banned because they're
- 12:05Speaker 6: extraordinarily dangerous and are not appropriate for legitimate self defense purposes.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Close quote. Tell me what you meant by assault weapons?
- 12:16Speaker 8: Thank you, Senator Kennedy. Just to clarify, Just to clarify there,
- 12:21Speaker 8: I was local counsel are supreme.
- 12:24Speaker 2: But you wrote the brief.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Tell you what you meant by assault weapons.
- 12:27Speaker 8: Senator Kenny. Actually, I did not write the brief. The
- 12:31Speaker 8: brief was written by you.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Signed the brief though, correct.
- 12:34Speaker 2: I signed the brief.
- 12:35Speaker 3: Sign a brief.
- 12:36Speaker 6: You're testifying to the court that everything in it is true, right, yes,
- 12:42Speaker 6: and I they're your words in terms of the court. Right.
- 12:45Speaker 8: Well, you're you're correct, Senator Kennedy. I would never sign
- 12:49Speaker 8: what you meant by assault weapons. So I am not
- 12:52Speaker 8: a gun expert. And at the time that brief I
- 12:55Speaker 8: think was about ten years given the.
- 12:57Speaker 6: Court advice about say ban assault weapons. What is I'm
- 13:02Speaker 6: just you told the court you weren't you were you
- 13:05Speaker 6: were an expert. Just tell me what you wanted to.
- 13:08Speaker 8: Ban, Senator sitting here today, as I said, I did
- 13:13Speaker 8: not write that brief.
- 13:14Speaker 2: I was local counters a brief.
- 13:16Speaker 8: I understand at the.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Time maybe what you wanted to ban, that's all I
- 13:20Speaker 3: want to know.
- 13:21Speaker 8: I don't remember the exact definition of assault weapons in
- 13:24Speaker 8: the ordinance that was that issue.
- 13:26Speaker 6: So you submitted a brief to the appellant brief, you
- 13:32Speaker 6: signed it, and you don't know what and you said
- 13:36Speaker 6: aboassed assault weapons, and you don't know what you wanted
- 13:39Speaker 6: them to abolish.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Senator.
- 13:41Speaker 8: At the time that I signed the brief, I read
- 13:44Speaker 8: the brief because our Supreme Court required someone an.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Illinois bar member, to sign the brief.
- 13:51Speaker 8: I was not responsible for researching the content.
- 13:54Speaker 3: You were watched for the brief.
- 13:56Speaker 8: Absolutely absolutely, and sitting here today, I do not remember
- 14:00Speaker 8: are the characteristics of of that were that were cited
- 14:04Speaker 8: in the ordinance for the assault weapons ban. It's not
- 14:06Speaker 8: an area of practice that I have specialized in. I'm
- 14:10Speaker 8: sure ten years ago I would I could have answered
- 14:13Speaker 8: your question. It's sitting here today.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Promoted record.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Senator, I stand by my record.
- 14:24Speaker 3: I stand by my record.
- 14:26Speaker 1: I stand by my record. You think you deserve to
- 14:29Speaker 1: be promoted? Simple question not He's not being a jerk.
- 14:33Speaker 1: He's asking a simple question someone that wants a big
- 14:36Speaker 1: judicial nominee position a judge. The question let's go back
- 14:41Speaker 1: to the very beginning. So tell me what you meant
- 14:43Speaker 1: by assault weapons, this judge, So I'm not a gun expert,
- 14:49Speaker 1: and at the time that that breathed, I thinking I
- 14:52Speaker 1: was about a tent. But you've given the court advice
- 14:56Speaker 1: about it, right, You're an expert in the court. You're
- 14:58Speaker 1: giving the court advice and you're saying ban assault weapons.
- 15:02Speaker 1: What is I'm just you told the court you're you are,
- 15:05Speaker 1: you're an expert. Just tell me what you want a demand.
- 15:08Speaker 1: She can't answer the question. Now, I play these two
- 15:12Speaker 1: different clips from you, because my point is this, we
- 15:15Speaker 1: need to elect better people to Washington. Two that are
- 15:19Speaker 1: there not to grandstand and go around and wear their
- 15:23Speaker 1: suits and their you know, pant suits and act like
- 15:27Speaker 1: they're a big, you know, big to do people. We
- 15:29Speaker 1: need people to go to Washington and when there's someone
- 15:32Speaker 1: up for a major position or job within our government
- 15:37Speaker 1: or a massive policy that we're about to change, for example,
- 15:40Speaker 1: spending fifty trillion dollars to go carbon neutral in America,
- 15:43Speaker 1: like that'll bankrupt us. It's kind of a big deal.
- 15:46Speaker 1: And the Democrats bring their experts. We need somebody that's
- 15:51Speaker 1: going to know how to ask them questions about what
- 15:53Speaker 1: they think and what they believe in and what they're doing.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I'll give you another example, not from I'm Senor Kennedy,
- 16:01Speaker 1: and this deals absolutely with our national security. An Air
- 16:06Speaker 1: Force general has now come out due to questioning and
- 16:10Speaker 1: revealed that there is a quote alarming number of drones
- 16:14Speaker 1: crossing into the US airspace at the southern border.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Now, what is the definition of alarming?
- 16:21Speaker 1: Is the first question when I see this headline, I'm like,
- 16:23Speaker 1: all right, well, what's the definition of alarming?
- 16:25Speaker 2: Like, what is really alarming? What does that look like?
- 16:29Speaker 6: Well?
- 16:29Speaker 1: The Air Force general revealed to Congress that the number
- 16:33Speaker 1: of drones crossing into the US airspace at the southern
- 16:37Speaker 1: border is now more than one thousand a month.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Yes, I would agree that is an alarming number.
- 16:43Speaker 1: More than one thousand drones per month are crossing into
- 16:46Speaker 1: the US airspace near the border with Mexico. A top
- 16:50Speaker 1: general is telling us, Okay, so who's flying the thousand
- 16:53Speaker 1: drones per month? And are we shooting any of them down?
- 16:57Speaker 1: They're coming into our airspace right like, so are we
- 17:01Speaker 1: taking them out? They then go on to say the
- 17:05Speaker 1: number of unmanned drone incursions not only is alarming and
- 17:10Speaker 1: presents quote a growing potential threat to national security. Is
- 17:15Speaker 1: what Air Force General Gregory Glot, the commander of North
- 17:20Speaker 1: American Defense Command and US Northern Command said at the
- 17:25Speaker 1: Senate Armed Services Committee hearing, how did we just find
- 17:31Speaker 1: out about one thousand drones a month crossing into the
- 17:33Speaker 1: US airspace near the border with Mexico?
- 17:36Speaker 2: And who is flying those drones?
- 17:39Speaker 5: Like?
- 17:39Speaker 1: How did it get to the point where it was
- 17:40Speaker 1: a thousand before you and I heard about it? You
- 17:43Speaker 1: want to know the only reason why we've heard about
- 17:46Speaker 1: this because of another US senator who's asking the right questions.
- 17:50Speaker 1: And if there's a theme for today's show, it is
- 17:53Speaker 1: this theme we need less need. We need fewer elected
- 17:56Speaker 1: officials that are on TikTok and more elected off officials
- 18:00Speaker 1: that are in Washington asking real questions. Senator Ted Buddy's,
- 18:06Speaker 1: a new senator, a Republican from North Carolina, said, quote,
- 18:10Speaker 1: the number of incursions was something.
- 18:12Speaker 2: That was alarming to me as I took command last month.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Last month, you think, yeah, that's what That's what this
- 18:22Speaker 1: army commander said while talking to the centator, like, hey,
- 18:25Speaker 1: I just got there, you just got here. Hey, the
- 18:27Speaker 1: number of incursions is something that was alarming to me
- 18:30Speaker 1: when I took command last month. So how long have
- 18:33Speaker 1: we had a thousand drones per month crossing into the
- 18:37Speaker 1: United States airspace near the border with Mexico. Is it
- 18:40Speaker 1: been months, has it been six months, Has it been
- 18:43Speaker 1: a year, Has it been two years?
- 18:44Speaker 2: Have been three years? Have been four years? I just
- 18:47Speaker 2: want to know.
- 18:49Speaker 1: I'm genuinely curious, what like, how long has this been
- 18:54Speaker 1: going on? And how did it take a new.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Guy in the Senate to even ask the right question
- 18:59Speaker 2: to get to this point?
- 19:02Speaker 1: And the other question is how many other senators knew this?
- 19:06Speaker 1: How many other people in our military knew this? That
- 19:08Speaker 1: refuse to tell the truth or to let anybody know.
- 19:12Speaker 1: How many other questions are not being asked that we
- 19:14Speaker 1: should be asking to deal with our national security at
- 19:17Speaker 1: the southern border, that no one is asking the question
- 19:19Speaker 1: because they don't. We don't have smart enough people in
- 19:21Speaker 1: Washington to actually ask these basic, simple questions, whether it's
- 19:27Speaker 1: coming from Center Bud, whether it's coming from Senator Cruz,
- 19:29Speaker 1: where it's coming from Senor Kennedy. The fact that you
- 19:31Speaker 1: usually know the people that are going to ask the
- 19:33Speaker 1: real tough questions, and the list is so short compared
- 19:37Speaker 1: to that.
- 19:37Speaker 2: I mean, there's one hundred members of the Senate.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Folks, How often am I talking about the one hundred
- 19:44Speaker 1: different members not very often, and it's because the majority
- 19:48Speaker 1: of them they don't give a crap about actually asking
- 19:52Speaker 1: real tough questions or looking out for America's best interests.
- 19:58Speaker 2: That's the problem.
- 20:00Speaker 1: I want you to hear Senator Button again, Freshman Senator
- 20:05Speaker 1: asking the right questions, uncovering an alarming number of drones?
- 20:10Speaker 2: Who are that?
- 20:11Speaker 1: Are that are coming into American air space the southern border?
- 20:14Speaker 1: Over a thousand a month, and none of us were
- 20:17Speaker 1: told about any of this until he asked the right
- 20:19Speaker 1: question in Washington.
- 20:21Speaker 9: It's my understanding there's been a lot of drone incursions
- 20:23Speaker 9: along our southern border.
- 20:26Speaker 3: How many drone incursions have we had?
- 20:28Speaker 5: And what are they doing?
- 20:33Speaker 9: Senator? The number of incursions was something that was alarming
- 20:37Speaker 9: to me as I as I took command last month.
- 20:41Speaker 9: I don't know the actual number. I don't think anybody does,
- 20:44Speaker 9: but it's it's in the thousands. I have talked to
- 20:47Speaker 9: Customs and Border Protection, who are responsible for the U
- 20:51Speaker 9: S incursions and in the in the border along with
- 20:57Speaker 9: d O J and they put the number at thousands
- 21:01Speaker 9: over what period of.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Time is that thousands?
- 21:04Speaker 9: I would say in the probably over a month, we
- 21:07Speaker 9: could probably have over a thousand a month.
- 21:10Speaker 3: General, do they, in your view represent a homeland defense threat?
- 21:15Speaker 5: Senator?
- 21:15Speaker 9: They alarm me from the being the person responsible for
- 21:20Speaker 9: homeland defense. I haven't seen any of them manifest in
- 21:24Speaker 9: a threat to the level of national defense, but I
- 21:26Speaker 9: see the potential only growing.
- 21:30Speaker 6: Now.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Not only did you say he sees a threat only growing,
- 21:33Speaker 1: there's like fifteen follow up questions.
- 21:36Speaker 2: I've got.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Okay, what was last month, the month before, the month before,
- 21:41Speaker 1: the month before, the month before, right, Like, what are
- 21:43Speaker 1: these numbers?
- 21:44Speaker 2: Can you get those for me?
- 21:45Speaker 1: That's number one. Let's move on from that. I got
- 21:47Speaker 1: a second question for you, Who the hell's find these drones?
- 21:51Speaker 1: Is it human traffickers? It sex traffickers, is it child rapists?
- 21:56Speaker 1: Is it drug dealers? Is it those bringing across fetnoh
- 21:59Speaker 1: and heroin and crack cocaine and acid and and and
- 22:03Speaker 1: and pills laced with feedennol? Like I want to know,
- 22:07Speaker 1: I mean this sincerely, Like we might need to know
- 22:12Speaker 1: some of this stuff one day. It would be important
- 22:16Speaker 1: that we know who's flying these drones. Are we doing
- 22:20Speaker 1: anything to stop these drones from coming across our southern border?
- 22:25Speaker 6: Uh?
- 22:26Speaker 1: Do we have a way to shoot them down when
- 22:28Speaker 1: they when they come over into our airspace, Like I
- 22:32Speaker 1: would like to volunteer.
- 22:33Speaker 2: That would be a really fun spring break for me.
- 22:35Speaker 1: I would love to go to the southern border and
- 22:38Speaker 1: I would love to go down there and shoot drones
- 22:42Speaker 1: if they're being flown by the cartels out of the sky.
- 22:45Speaker 1: I think that would be a really fun uh guy's
- 22:49Speaker 1: weekend trip of like who can get the most drones
- 22:51Speaker 1: and and knock them down?
- 22:53Speaker 2: Like that would be amazing.
- 22:56Speaker 1: But in all seriousness, this is three examples, and I'm
- 23:03Speaker 1: going to do a better job of when this happens
- 23:06Speaker 1: highlighting it because I think we need to start expecting more,
- 23:11Speaker 1: a lot more. We need to be expecting a ton
- 23:14Speaker 1: more from our elected leaders. Our leaders are not doing enough, okay,
- 23:20Speaker 1: Like our leaders are not doing even close to enough
- 23:25Speaker 1: as they were in the past. Like our leaders should
- 23:28Speaker 1: be doing a much better job of asking basic questions.
- 23:34Speaker 1: We don't do enough to ask questions. We don't do
- 23:37Speaker 1: enough to make the people that are making the policy answers.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Like I still cannot believe that this is the first
- 23:44Speaker 1: time ever we've found out from an air Force general
- 23:48Speaker 1: that we've got a thousand of these drones that are
- 23:50Speaker 1: incurring per month crossing into US airspace near the Mexican border.
- 23:55Speaker 1: They're obviously up to no good. Are we even trying
- 23:57Speaker 1: to stop them? Is there an initiative to them? He said, Look,
- 24:02Speaker 1: I see the potential threat only growing.
- 24:05Speaker 4: Now.
- 24:06Speaker 1: This is what I do know, because after this came
- 24:09Speaker 1: out and top near artificials know that while the number
- 24:12Speaker 1: of incursions alarming, they haven't seen them manifest in a
- 24:16Speaker 1: threat to the level of national defense. Okay, well, what
- 24:19Speaker 1: does a drone look like if it's being used a
- 24:22Speaker 1: threat to the national defense?
- 24:23Speaker 2: It would have I'm assuming, like armory on it, like
- 24:26Speaker 2: bombs on it.
- 24:27Speaker 1: We've seen these drones have been used for attacks, for
- 24:30Speaker 1: example right now between UK or Ukraine, I should say
- 24:34Speaker 1: in Russia. We've seen these be used in the Middle
- 24:37Speaker 1: East to attack American soldiers.
- 24:39Speaker 2: So it only takes one moment for this to change.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Now, what we think the majority of these drones, after
- 24:46Speaker 1: asking other experts, is is this Mexican cartels are using
- 24:50Speaker 1: the drones to track the locations of American authorities along
- 24:54Speaker 1: the US Mexico border in order to quote more easily
- 24:57Speaker 1: smuggle humans and draw uggs across the southern border, according
- 25:02Speaker 1: to US.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Customs and Border Protection officials.
- 25:05Speaker 1: The Rio Grand Valley Sector chief told the House Oversight
- 25:09Speaker 1: Committee in February of twenty twenty three, so this is
- 25:14Speaker 1: last year, over a year ago, that in her Texas
- 25:18Speaker 1: sector alone, more than ten thousand drone incursions and more
- 25:21Speaker 1: than twenty five thousand drone sightings had been reported in
- 25:24Speaker 1: the last year just in her sector. The adversaries have
- 25:29Speaker 1: seventeen times the number of drones, twice the amount of
- 25:33Speaker 1: flight hours, and unlimited funding to grow their operations, is
- 25:38Speaker 1: what was said by the Rio Grand Valley Sector chief.
- 25:41Speaker 1: So to be clear, the sector chief and again none
- 25:44Speaker 1: of us have heard about this until today, told Congress
- 25:48Speaker 1: that the drug cartels in absence have a seventeen x
- 25:54Speaker 1: at vantage on r safety and.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Security measures at the Southern border.
- 26:00Speaker 1: When it comes to drones, the adversaries have seventeen times
- 26:03Speaker 1: the number of drones that we the American government have,
- 26:06Speaker 1: they have twice the amount of flight hours that we have,
- 26:09Speaker 1: and they have an unlimited funding to grow their operations.
- 26:12Speaker 1: So what she's really warning us that we again, this
- 26:15Speaker 1: is a year ago, they warned us about this, but
- 26:17Speaker 1: none of US heard about it because no one is
- 26:19Speaker 1: asking the right questions. What we're really finding out is
- 26:22Speaker 1: that the cartels have an air force, and their air
- 26:26Speaker 1: force is massive. Their air force is well trained and organized.
- 26:30Speaker 1: It's not human beings up in airplanes. It's drones everywhere.
- 26:36Speaker 1: In January of twenty twenty three, we have found out
- 26:39Speaker 1: for the first time today this is over a year ago,
- 26:43Speaker 1: authorities discovered drone footage of border patrol agents allegedly shot
- 26:50Speaker 1: by human smugglers during a raid that was believed to
- 26:54Speaker 1: be a safe house used to hide migrants illegally crossing
- 26:57Speaker 1: the US Mexico boundary.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Quote.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Human smugglers use it using drones to survey the border
- 27:04Speaker 1: patrol is a growing trend that we've observed along the border.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Is with the San Diego sector, chief agent said in
- 27:12Speaker 1: a statement, quote, this technology provides transnational criminal organization, so transnational,
- 27:20Speaker 1: So this could be starting in China, veetnel coming over,
- 27:24Speaker 1: then it gets to Mexico, then it's coming over again.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Or it could be terrorist organizations like CAMAS or has Bob.
- 27:30Speaker 1: We don't know who's flying all these drones. We know
- 27:32Speaker 1: it's a lot of cartel members, but it's a transnational
- 27:36Speaker 1: criminal organization with new capabilities that are eager to exploit
- 27:43Speaker 1: American weaknesses. So I think it's fair to say the
- 27:48Speaker 1: drug cartels and those that are bringing in the number
- 27:52Speaker 1: one killer of people in this country and the number
- 27:55Speaker 1: one killer. We all know what the number one killer
- 27:57Speaker 1: is of people forty nine and under the number one
- 28:00Speaker 1: killer of people forty nine and under in this country
- 28:05Speaker 1: is FETNYL. And the people that are bringing in have
- 28:07Speaker 1: an air force, okay, have an air force to bring
- 28:12Speaker 1: it in that is seventeen times.
- 28:16Speaker 2: The size of our US militaries.
- 28:18Speaker 1: And Border Protections air force when it comes to drones
- 28:22Speaker 1: and surveillance at the southern border.
- 28:25Speaker 2: We found all this out today because one senator asked
- 28:28Speaker 2: the right questions.
- 28:30Speaker 1: We found out that the people that are the experts
- 28:32Speaker 1: on global warming actually aren't experts.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Because of another senator who asked the right questions, we.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Found out that these experts want to spend fifty trillion
- 28:43Speaker 1: dollars and don't even know what it would actually do
- 28:46Speaker 1: to the environment if they got what they wanted. We
- 28:49Speaker 1: found out from Senator Kennedy that there's a judicial nominee
- 28:53Speaker 1: who couldn't define what an assault weapon was except she
- 28:56Speaker 1: told a court that she was an expert on assault
- 28:59Speaker 1: weapons and that we should ban set assault weapons. And
- 29:02Speaker 1: this is someone who is actually right now, right now
- 29:06Speaker 1: in America, a judge looking for a promotion to an
- 29:10Speaker 1: even bigger post as a judge this November.
- 29:16Speaker 2: I say this as sincerely as I can.
- 29:19Speaker 1: We better start looking at candidates, not just to get
- 29:21Speaker 1: a warm body or a quote conservative to DC and
- 29:25Speaker 1: then we think, all right, we did our job. We
- 29:28Speaker 1: need to start asking the right questions, and we need
- 29:31Speaker 1: to start finding, most importantly, the right people to run
- 29:38Speaker 1: for office who will go to office and will actually
- 29:41Speaker 1: fight and ask the questions that I just described today.
- 29:44Speaker 1: If we don't, we're going to continue to screw up
- 29:47Speaker 1: this country. Make sure you share this podcast with your
- 29:50Speaker 1: family and your friends. Please put it on social media
- 29:52Speaker 1: wherever you are, and I'll see you back here tomorrow
