- 0:01Speaker 1: Border security was one of the top issues for so
- 0:04Speaker 1: many Americans when it came to this past election and
- 0:09Speaker 1: supporting Donald Trump. And if there's anywhere he has a
- 0:11Speaker 1: mandated is in securing our border and also getting rid
- 0:15Speaker 1: of the millions of legal immigrants are in this country. Well,
- 0:18Speaker 1: the man who's in charge of the border, Tom Homan,
- 0:21Speaker 1: has now set down with Senator Cruz and I to
- 0:24Speaker 1: talk about where we are in.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Securing that border.
- 0:26Speaker 1: What are the major threats now, whether it be Fetnohl
- 0:30Speaker 1: or terrorists that have already come into our country under
- 0:33Speaker 1: the open border policy of Biden Harris. I want you
- 0:37Speaker 1: to hear all that he had to say in this
- 0:39Speaker 1: sit down.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Take a listen. Well, Tom Homan is serving as President
- 0:43Speaker 2: Trump's Borders Are. He is the former acting director of
- 0:47Speaker 2: the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement and he has been
- 0:50Speaker 2: borders Are since Trump resumed office as president. His formal title,
- 0:56Speaker 2: which I like, is what White House Executive associates Director
- 1:00Speaker 2: of Enforcement and Removal Operations. And to be clear, his
- 1:04Speaker 2: job is to secure the border, keep US safe, and
- 1:08Speaker 2: remove dangerous illegal aliens. He's doing a hell of a job. Tom.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Welcome to Verdict.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Thanks for having me so Let's.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Start with just how are we doing. We're four months in,
- 1:20Speaker 2: almost five months into the Trump presidency. How are we doing?
- 1:25Speaker 2: Tell us what has happened since President Trump became president again?
- 1:28Speaker 2: On the border?
- 1:30Speaker 3: Well, President Trump today, I'm talking to today Santa Cruz.
- 1:33Speaker 3: We have the most secure border in the history of
- 1:37Speaker 3: this nation today and most secure board ever. I mean
- 1:40Speaker 3: we even beat Trump forty five. Well, we hand the
- 1:43Speaker 3: Bide administration most secure boarder ever ahead of that time. Yeah,
- 1:46Speaker 3: but the data is even better now. And let me
- 1:48Speaker 3: give you a few numbers, just a few numbers. Under
- 1:51Speaker 3: Biden administration, we were dealing with ten eleven thousan even
- 1:54Speaker 3: a few times fifteen thousand aliens today yesterday was two
- 2:00Speaker 3: hundred and eleven. We went from thirteen fourteen thousand to
- 2:04Speaker 3: two hundred and eleven.
- 2:06Speaker 2: And that's across the entire southwest border.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Yes, gotaways under Biden an average gotaway day and under
- 2:13Speaker 3: Biden was eighteen hundred plus eighteen hundred plus. What was
- 2:18Speaker 3: the got aways yesterday? Thirty nine?
- 2:21Speaker 2: Wow.
- 2:21Speaker 3: And then the most impressive number the first hundred days
- 2:25Speaker 3: on President Trump compared to the first at the same
- 2:28Speaker 3: time period last year under Biden. Biden released over one
- 2:32Speaker 3: hundred and eighty four thousand illegal animates in this country
- 2:36Speaker 3: the Trump administration one there was nine releases, but for
- 2:41Speaker 3: more material witnesses. As you know, we want them come
- 2:44Speaker 3: here to testify in the cartol troal so form. We
- 2:46Speaker 3: want to command. Four came across the border in such
- 2:49Speaker 3: bad shape that we had to call an ambulans and
- 2:51Speaker 3: take care of the medical needs. We had allowment insided
- 2:54Speaker 3: do medical treatment, but we had one one discretionary release
- 3:00Speaker 3: compaired at one hundred and eighty four thousand released under
- 3:02Speaker 3: the same time period in biden most Secure Border Historistination
- 3:06Speaker 3: Interior Enforcement Offerings ICE's arrest of three times more criminals
- 3:10Speaker 3: one of them Biden did during the same time period.
- 3:13Speaker 3: We got more to rest, We got many more to rest.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Let's but they're already hitting the ball out of park
- 3:18Speaker 3: and we're gonna keep doing it. We need to do
- 3:19Speaker 3: more of it, and we're hoping for a budget real
- 3:22Speaker 3: soon here so we can step up efforts there. But
- 3:25Speaker 3: it's it's game changing. President Trump's been a game changer,
- 3:27Speaker 3: and the men and win vice and men women border
- 3:30Speaker 3: stood up taking on the task and cousin Trump did
- 3:33Speaker 3: in seven weeks, but Joe Biden couldn't or wouldn't do
- 3:35Speaker 3: in four years.
- 3:36Speaker 2: My favorite line from from President Trump's most recent State
- 3:39Speaker 2: of the Union address it is when he said, you know,
- 3:42Speaker 2: Joe Biden stood here a year ago and said that
- 3:44Speaker 2: he couldn't secure the border without new legislation passing Congress.
- 3:49Speaker 2: And then Trump said, it turns out we didn't need
- 3:51Speaker 2: new legislation. We just needed a new president. And that's
- 3:56Speaker 2: powerfully true. So let me ask just just a simple
- 3:58Speaker 2: question for those Look, you're you're an immigration expert, but
- 4:02Speaker 2: for someone at home, how did the numbers drop so precipitously?
- 4:06Speaker 2: What specifically are y'all doing differently than what Joe Biden,
- 4:11Speaker 2: Kamala Harris did.
- 4:13Speaker 3: The biggest thing we've done is President's executive orders that
- 4:17Speaker 3: we're a game changer, remain in Mexico a game changer.
- 4:21Speaker 3: I have the third SAIF Country agreements a game changer,
- 4:24Speaker 3: and finally ending catcher release. People know, you come to
- 4:28Speaker 3: a border, now you're not being released, and we just
- 4:30Speaker 3: follow the law because, as you know, under federal statue,
- 4:34Speaker 3: an ailien arrives at our border without proper documentation to
- 4:38Speaker 3: enter the language is you shall be detained now, maybe
- 4:42Speaker 3: not thinking about it, not problem shall and that's exactly
- 4:45Speaker 3: why we're doing. Those three things by themselves have been
- 4:48Speaker 3: a major game changer, and all three of them were
- 4:50Speaker 3: executive orders by President.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Trump's But I want to talk to you real quick
- 4:53Speaker 1: about the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. Most of us,
- 4:57Speaker 1: when we go to bed at night, we don't have
- 4:58Speaker 1: to worry about their being an explosion that awakes us
- 5:01Speaker 1: in the middle of the evening. We climb into our beds,
- 5:04Speaker 1: we turn off the lights, and we sleep in relative safety.
- 5:07Speaker 1: But the people of Israel are facing non stop threats
- 5:11Speaker 1: on seven different fronts. They do have a red alert
- 5:14Speaker 1: system to warn of incoming attacks, and last month, red
- 5:18Speaker 1: alerts blared nearly fifty times every single day, something we
- 5:23Speaker 1: can imagine living with The toll on families and first
- 5:26Speaker 1: responders is brutal and right now, Israel's first responders are
- 5:31Speaker 1: facing an urgent need life saving supplies that are running low,
- 5:34Speaker 1: and that's why the work of the International Fellowship of
- 5:37Speaker 1: Christians and Jews is so critical. Your gift of only
- 5:40Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty dollars will help provide first responders
- 5:43Speaker 1: with helmets, flat jackets, medical rescue bags, and even armored
- 5:48Speaker 1: service vehicles to keep people alive. Your gift is urgently needed,
- 5:53Speaker 1: and if you want to stand with the people of Israel,
- 5:55Speaker 1: you can call eight to eight four eight eight IFCJ.
- 6:00Speaker 1: That's eight eight eight four eight eight four three two five.
- 6:04Speaker 1: You can also give securely online at IFCJ dot org.
- 6:09Speaker 1: That's if CJ dot org. You mentioned budget a moment
- 6:14Speaker 1: ago and how important it is to have the budget
- 6:17Speaker 1: for you guys to continue your job.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Explain for everyone listening.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Is that referencing that the big beautiful bill and what
- 6:23Speaker 1: is in there that you need so much to continue
- 6:26Speaker 1: to do your job at the border.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Well, we want to make the border secure permanently, so
- 6:31Speaker 3: we need more infrastructure, right, so we need to finish
- 6:33Speaker 3: building a wall. Now, let's be clear. Every place they
- 6:36Speaker 3: build a border barrier, illegal migrations went down, illegal drug
- 6:39Speaker 3: flow went down, But most important, walls saved lives. Women
- 6:43Speaker 3: and children can't get over that wall, the most vulnerable,
- 6:46Speaker 3: so they go to a place, Well there's not a
- 6:47Speaker 3: wall on. What's waiting on them the men and women
- 6:49Speaker 3: of the Border patrol first of all, So it's ball
- 6:51Speaker 3: saves lives. So we need to finish the border barrier.
- 6:54Speaker 3: We need money to finish the technology within the existing
- 6:57Speaker 3: border wall, because not only did Present buy in stop
- 7:00Speaker 3: the construction of the wall, he stopped adding the technology
- 7:03Speaker 3: in that smart wall. Technology that lets us know how
- 7:05Speaker 3: someone climbs that wall, touch this wall, dig on under
- 7:07Speaker 3: that wall. Technology where borbitual agents in the middle of
- 7:10Speaker 3: nowhere can get on the radio and use the wall
- 7:13Speaker 3: as a repeater to talk to other agents for help.
- 7:15Speaker 3: There are some places on the southern border where they
- 7:17Speaker 3: lose all communications, so all that technology needs to be done.
- 7:21Speaker 3: More technology yet and portive entries to make sure no
- 7:24Speaker 3: Ventano's coming through. And as far as the entire enforcement,
- 7:27Speaker 3: we need beds. Right now, we got about fifty two
- 7:30Speaker 3: thousand people in detention. We're funder that thirty four thousand
- 7:33Speaker 3: ice is already in the hole. We need about one
- 7:36Speaker 3: hundred thousand beds because everybody we arrest needs a bet.
- 7:39Speaker 3: We just don't rest somebody in New York City and
- 7:41Speaker 3: put them on a plane leave. We got to detaining
- 7:43Speaker 3: for several days or several weeks to get travel doctrines,
- 7:45Speaker 3: get flight arrangements, flight finances. So we need bets. So
- 7:50Speaker 3: we need. You know, so this budget, that depending budget
- 7:52Speaker 3: right now, the big beautiful Bill will give us some
- 7:54Speaker 3: money fi those beds. They're going to give us thousands
- 7:56Speaker 3: of more borbitual license, thousands more ICE agents. It's going
- 7:59Speaker 3: to give ICE a budget to bring in more contracts up.
- 8:03Speaker 3: What I mean by that badges and guns shouldn't be
- 8:05Speaker 3: sitting at a desk doing reports of processing. They shouldn't
- 8:10Speaker 3: be sitting at a desk doing travel documents and all
- 8:13Speaker 3: the all the administrative duties that occurred within ICE. You
- 8:17Speaker 3: can have a contractor sitting there doing that work. Give
- 8:19Speaker 3: that badging gun, get them out on the street to
- 8:22Speaker 3: arrest the public safety thrusts and national security threats. So
- 8:25Speaker 3: we needed the money to. Like I said, we're doing
- 8:27Speaker 3: more than Biden did, but Biden wasn't doing anything. We
- 8:29Speaker 3: need to do ten times more than buying too, not
- 8:31Speaker 3: three times more. And I'll leave you with this. We
- 8:34Speaker 3: got seven hundred thousand illegal Alians in this country with
- 8:37Speaker 3: a criminal conviction walking the streets this country. We got
- 8:40Speaker 3: to get them, We got to get it quickly. We
- 8:42Speaker 3: got one point four man illegal aliens who do have
- 8:44Speaker 3: du process a great taxpayer expense, were ordered removed by
- 8:48Speaker 3: a federal judge and didn't leave, and they become fusitives.
- 8:51Speaker 3: We got a lot of work to do and we
- 8:52Speaker 3: need money to do more. We're doing good, but more
- 8:55Speaker 3: money we have, the more we.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Can do well. And Ben, I'll say this that Congress,
- 9:00Speaker 2: we will get this Reconciliation bill passed. It's gonna take time,
- 9:03Speaker 2: it's gonna be bumpy, but we'll get it done. And
- 9:06Speaker 2: when we get it done, we're gonna have funding to
- 9:07Speaker 2: build the wall. We're gonna have funding for technology on
- 9:10Speaker 2: the wall. We're gonna have funding for more border patrol agents.
- 9:12Speaker 2: We're gonna have funding for more ice agents. We're gonna
- 9:15Speaker 2: have funding for more detention beds. We're gonna have funding
- 9:17Speaker 2: for more fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft. We're gonna
- 9:19Speaker 2: have funding for more drones and more infrared and technology.
- 9:23Speaker 2: We are stepping in now. It's gonna take a little
- 9:25Speaker 2: bit of time to get the bill across the finish line,
- 9:28Speaker 2: but I'm confident we'll do it. And I will say
- 9:31Speaker 2: it really underscores something we've said on Verdict many times,
- 9:34Speaker 2: which is the most important factor in securing the border.
- 9:38Speaker 2: And this is what Tom said just a minute ago.
- 9:40Speaker 2: It is a policy decision, and it is a decision
- 9:44Speaker 2: what happens when you apprehend an illegal immigrant. And if
- 9:47Speaker 2: the answer is you put them on a plane and
- 9:50Speaker 2: you fly them back home. They all have cell phones.
- 9:53Speaker 2: They pick up their phones and they call home and
- 9:55Speaker 2: they say, don't come. They're not letting you stay. And
- 9:58Speaker 2: the flip side is true if when you you apprehend them,
- 10:00Speaker 2: you let them go. You say what city do you
- 10:02Speaker 2: want to go to? And you put them on a plane,
- 10:04Speaker 2: you put them on a bus, and you let them
- 10:05Speaker 2: go in every city in America, which is what Joe
- 10:07Speaker 2: Biden was doing. Again, they all have phones. They pick
- 10:10Speaker 2: up the phone, they call their friends and family, and
- 10:13Speaker 2: the numbers skyrocket. And so when President Trump left office
- 10:18Speaker 2: the first time, he had produced the lowest rate of
- 10:22Speaker 2: illegal immigration in forty five years. That's what Joe Biden inherited.
- 10:26Speaker 2: It immediately skyrocketed to the worst rate of illegal immigration
- 10:30Speaker 2: in history. Joe Biden allowed twelve million of the illegal
- 10:33Speaker 2: immigrants to come into this country. And regular listeners of
- 10:37Speaker 2: Verdict will recall I predicted. I said, we will see
- 10:40Speaker 2: the numbers plummet, and it won't take a year, it
- 10:44Speaker 2: won't even take six months. It will happen immediately because
- 10:48Speaker 2: on day one, catch and release is going to end
- 10:51Speaker 2: and we're going to see the numbers plummet. Now, all
- 10:53Speaker 2: that being said, Tom, let me ask you honestly, I
- 10:56Speaker 2: will admit I predicted loudly that the numbers would plummet.
- 11:00Speaker 2: I'll confess I didn't think they'd drop over ninety nine percent.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Are you I'm surprised at just how massive the success is.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Are Are you a little bit surprised.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Or no, I'm not surprised for all the success. I'm
- 11:14Speaker 3: surprised how fast that happened. When President Trump, when he
- 11:17Speaker 3: called me, asked me to be the borders. Our course,
- 11:19Speaker 3: I didn't has day came back and the first meeting
- 11:21Speaker 3: who he had, he asked me, how long would it
- 11:23Speaker 3: take you down the secure the border? I says, sir,
- 11:25Speaker 3: I need I need at least one hundred and twenty days.
- 11:28Speaker 3: He says, well, they kid a ninety I said, sir,
- 11:29Speaker 3: I'll to respect one hundred and twenty days, even pushing
- 11:32Speaker 3: that we did this in seven weeks. Seven weeks numbers
- 11:36Speaker 3: already down.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Yep.
- 11:38Speaker 3: And You're exactly right. Everything you said was right. But
- 11:41Speaker 3: I want to add one thing. When Joe Biden opened
- 11:43Speaker 3: that border up. He's the first president in the history
- 11:46Speaker 3: of this nation who came into office and unsecured a
- 11:49Speaker 3: border on purpose. This wasn't mismanagement, this wasn't incompetence. He
- 11:53Speaker 3: ran on open borders, and that's exactly what he did.
- 11:56Speaker 3: You know, so when you tell the whole world enter
- 11:58Speaker 3: this country legally, don't worry about it. We're going to
- 12:00Speaker 3: release you anyways. And when you've got a secretary of
- 12:03Speaker 3: ma orkist on ice, you can't arrest somebody for being
- 12:06Speaker 3: here illegally unless they got a serious criminal conviction. The
- 12:08Speaker 3: whole world's going to come. You can cross the border illegally.
- 12:11Speaker 3: You get released in twenty four hours. We won't give
- 12:13Speaker 3: you a free plane ticket to the city of your choice.
- 12:16Speaker 3: We're going to put you in a free hotel room.
- 12:18Speaker 3: We're going to give you three meals a day, We're
- 12:20Speaker 3: going to give you free medical attention, and guess what,
- 12:22Speaker 3: hang out for one hundred and twenty days. We're going
- 12:23Speaker 3: to give you a work offficization. The very reason they
- 12:25Speaker 3: came here not because of asylum, because they wanted a job.
- 12:29Speaker 3: So Biden did what he did on purpose and President
- 12:32Speaker 3: Trump came back in seven weeks. Again seven weeks did
- 12:36Speaker 3: what Joe Biden couldn't do or wouldn't do.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Repeat the numbers you said about how many illegals are
- 12:42Speaker 2: in the US right now who have criminal convictions. And
- 12:46Speaker 2: to be clear, these are convictions for crimes other than
- 12:48Speaker 2: crossing illegally into the country. Every illegal has committed that crime.
- 12:51Speaker 2: But how many have convictions for murder, for rape, for
- 12:55Speaker 2: other crimes other than crossing the border illegally.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Just under seven hundred thousand.
- 13:01Speaker 2: I mean, that is a stunning number. And what you're saying,
- 13:06Speaker 2: and I agree with you, is that Joe Biden deliberately
- 13:09Speaker 2: chose we're going to leave murderers here, We're going to
- 13:13Speaker 2: leave rapists in America, We're going to leave child molesters
- 13:16Speaker 2: in America. We're not going to send ice to arrest them,
- 13:19Speaker 2: We're not going to pick them up, we're not going
- 13:20Speaker 2: to deport them. That they put partisan politics above protecting
- 13:25Speaker 2: American families, about protecting our kids.
- 13:29Speaker 3: And that's why I woke up four years pissed off
- 13:31Speaker 3: every morning. President Trump when he called me, asked me
- 13:34Speaker 3: to come back, and he said to me, we've been
- 13:35Speaker 3: even bitching about it for four years, want to come
- 13:37Speaker 3: back and fix it? And I did because I knew
- 13:40Speaker 3: every morning I wake up, And Senator you know this
- 13:42Speaker 3: just as well as I do. I knew every morning
- 13:44Speaker 3: I woke up. How many children died acrossing the borders
- 13:47Speaker 3: till last night. Yeah, how many women got sexually assaulted,
- 13:49Speaker 3: how many people on Terrace Rosster's got across the border.
- 13:52Speaker 3: How many women and children were sex trafficking this country?
- 13:55Speaker 3: How many billions of dollars in the car tells make
- 13:57Speaker 3: how many Americans died in the last twenty four hour
- 14:00Speaker 3: from Fetanah coming across the open border? For four years?
- 14:03Speaker 3: I was pissed off. President Trump came back, like I said,
- 14:05Speaker 3: in seven weeks, we had a border down ninety percent
- 14:08Speaker 3: in seven weeks. So you know, if you said it
- 14:12Speaker 3: was a matter of president, the matter of enforce the law,
- 14:14Speaker 3: you know, I'll tell you it's in a cruise. And
- 14:16Speaker 3: you know, every time I see in the meeting, every
- 14:18Speaker 3: time I see you in the meeting, I call you out.
- 14:21Speaker 3: I call you out because you've been a tip of
- 14:22Speaker 3: the speer on this thing. I appreciate your working this.
- 14:25Speaker 3: You're from Texas, you know, And God bless Governor Abbit
- 14:28Speaker 3: and Governor Abbitt did he was more of a Secretary
- 14:30Speaker 3: of Homeland Security moral it's ever been to wherever thought
- 14:32Speaker 3: of being so God blessed day of Texas. They took
- 14:35Speaker 3: the first rail on this and again, I can't thank
- 14:38Speaker 3: you enough. Every time I see I call you out,
- 14:40Speaker 3: thank you for being the tip of the spear. I
- 14:42Speaker 3: see you everywhere wanting the secure border, and you're fighting
- 14:45Speaker 3: hard for me, and you're fighting hard for the men
- 14:47Speaker 3: and women the border tow You're fighting hard for the
- 14:49Speaker 3: men and women of Ice. I love each and every
- 14:51Speaker 3: one of those men to put their life on line
- 14:53Speaker 3: for this country every day, men and women, and I
- 14:55Speaker 3: appreciate your fight for them. You've had their sixth and
- 14:58Speaker 3: day one and I love you for it. I appreciate it.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Well, Tom, let me thank you for that. I appreciate that,
- 15:03Speaker 2: and I appreciate your passion and commitment. You're showing up
- 15:07Speaker 2: and you said something that I think is really important
- 15:09Speaker 2: for our listeners to understand. You and President Trump right
- 15:13Speaker 2: now are quite literally saving lives. You are saving lives.
- 15:18Speaker 2: There are Americans, and there are significant number of Americans
- 15:21Speaker 2: who are alive today because a violent criminal did not
- 15:27Speaker 2: cross the border, was not released, and didn't murder them.
- 15:30Speaker 2: There are women who have not been raped because you've
- 15:33Speaker 2: stopped the Biden practice of releasing rapists. There are children,
- 15:38Speaker 2: and the number of children who haven't been physically and
- 15:41Speaker 2: sexually assaulted by human traffickers. It is already I think,
- 15:46Speaker 2: well into the thousands. And I want you to think
- 15:48Speaker 2: about that. Thousands of little girls, thousands of little boys
- 15:53Speaker 2: have not been violently, repeatedly raped by human traffickers. Why.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Because President Trump came in and because you've been the
- 16:02Speaker 2: borders are implementing it and secured the border, and those
- 16:05Speaker 2: kids are no longer being trafficked. That is a profound
- 16:08Speaker 2: legacy in just four or five months.
- 16:12Speaker 3: And then we go one step further. Trump asked me
- 16:15Speaker 3: to do three things. Security border, run the large largest
- 16:18Speaker 3: deportation offeras I have ever seen, and find these children,
- 16:21Speaker 3: and buy an administration. Over half a million children were
- 16:25Speaker 3: smuggling in this country, separated from their family, smoggling this
- 16:28Speaker 3: country and put in the hands of sponsors, many unvettered sponsors.
- 16:32Speaker 3: The last administration lost track of three hundred thousand of them.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Doesn't Trump's committed to finding as many as you can
- 16:38Speaker 3: We've already found over seventy five hundred of them. Wow,
- 16:41Speaker 3: someone were for free, safe with families. Some were perfectly
- 16:43Speaker 3: safe and some weren't. Example just there for yes, say
- 16:46Speaker 3: a fourteen year old little girl already to sex traffic
- 16:50Speaker 3: was pregnant living with two men who trafficking. There whether
- 16:52Speaker 3: they're going to prison, and we're helping that little girl.
- 16:55Speaker 3: So we're going to rescue everyone of these little girls
- 16:57Speaker 3: and make sure that they're safe. And so many of
- 17:00Speaker 3: them are going to be okay with family members, they
- 17:02Speaker 3: just didn't respond to followings or so forth. But many,
- 17:05Speaker 3: I guarantee, I've been doing this for over forty years.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Many of them are in sex trafficking. Many of them
- 17:10Speaker 3: are in forced labor, living a life of hell every day.
- 17:13Speaker 3: We're committed to find every one of these little children
- 17:15Speaker 3: and making sure they're safe.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Tom, you mentioned finding them all. Let's talk about sanctuary
- 17:21Speaker 1: cities for a second. It's very clear Democrats are not
- 17:24Speaker 1: backing off of that. How dangerous is the policy and
- 17:29Speaker 1: who is being harbored in these cities that are refusing
- 17:32Speaker 1: to work with you guys? Will there be accountability? Are
- 17:36Speaker 1: they harboring MS thirteen gang members? And domestic terrorists, foreign terrorists, uh,
- 17:41Speaker 1: those that are putting the Fetnoel out in society. How
- 17:44Speaker 1: dangerous are these cities?
- 17:47Speaker 3: They're the dangerous for everybody because in a sanctuary city meets,
- 17:50Speaker 3: I don't have access to the jail or rust a
- 17:52Speaker 3: bad guy public safety threat in the safety and security
- 17:55Speaker 3: of the jail. Were they alien safe, the officers safe,
- 17:59Speaker 3: on the public safe. When sanctuary cities knowingly leased a
- 18:02Speaker 3: public safety a threat back in the street, it certainly
- 18:05Speaker 3: puts the community at risk. It even puts an alien
- 18:07Speaker 3: at risk because anything can happen during the street arrest
- 18:10Speaker 3: and great, it puts your officers that great arrest because
- 18:12Speaker 3: now we've got to arrest a criminal alien public safety
- 18:15Speaker 3: threat on his turf. We has access to who knows
- 18:17Speaker 3: what weapons. It's very dangerous and natural host sanctuary cities accountable.
- 18:21Speaker 3: Its PAM binding has already fought lawsuits against several were
- 18:25Speaker 3: we're working with DJ now again. We want we want
- 18:29Speaker 3: where's that right? Where's that where's that line? When do
- 18:31Speaker 3: you cross that line? You can sit there and watch
- 18:34Speaker 3: ice do your job. Because here's what irritates me the most.
- 18:38Speaker 3: I don't care what party you're in. If you're an
- 18:40Speaker 3: elected mayor, elect a city council person, or elected governor.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Your number one responsibility it's the safety and security of
- 18:50Speaker 3: your neighborhoods, your communities. ICE has been clear from the
- 18:53Speaker 3: beginning with President Trump, we're going to prioritize public safety
- 18:56Speaker 3: threats and national security threats. Why will you not help
- 19:00Speaker 3: us make your community safer? There's no downside on that.
- 19:04Speaker 3: And the sanctuary cities want to argue what we're a
- 19:06Speaker 3: sanctuary city because we want victims and witnesses of crime,
- 19:10Speaker 3: if they're illegally the United States, to feel comfortable coming
- 19:13Speaker 3: to the law enforcement without fear of working with ICE.
- 19:16Speaker 3: That is a bunch of crap. Victims and witnesses of
- 19:19Speaker 3: crime don't want the bad guy in the neighborhood either.
- 19:22Speaker 3: And as far as the illegal alien community, I'll say this,
- 19:26Speaker 3: despite being here illegally, many of them are god fearing
- 19:29Speaker 3: family people. They don't want a preser in they neighborhood either.
- 19:32Speaker 3: They don't want someone convicted DUI ten times driving to
- 19:35Speaker 3: their neighborhood either. So you know, if you go to
- 19:38Speaker 3: the immigrant community and ask them one simple question, would
- 19:41Speaker 3: you rather have ICE operating in the jail or in
- 19:43Speaker 3: your community. What do you think they're going to say,
- 19:45Speaker 3: They're going to be say to jail, so sanctuarous cities
- 19:47Speaker 3: will be held accountable. Matter of fact, we're reissuing the
- 19:49Speaker 3: ICE detainer. We just changed the new ICE detainer. We're
- 19:52Speaker 3: letting them black and white. Let them know this person
- 19:54Speaker 3: is a designated terrorist, this person is a designated returned felon.
- 19:59Speaker 3: We're gonna let them know exactly who do detaining based
- 20:01Speaker 3: on biographic and biometric information and see what they do.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Are they going to violate Relation and Riley Act, Then
- 20:08Speaker 3: we'll go out to prosecution. Now they're going to know
- 20:10Speaker 3: at least a terrorist, then we're going to go out
- 20:12Speaker 3: to prosecution. So it's about to get a lot tougher
- 20:15Speaker 3: and it's the right thing to do.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Well, And let me ask you, how worried are you
- 20:20Speaker 2: that they're a terrorists who came across the southern border
- 20:23Speaker 2: in the last four years, that are out there and
- 20:26Speaker 2: that are planning acts of terror in the United States?
- 20:28Speaker 3: Right now, I'm convinced we got over two million known guideways.
- 20:33Speaker 3: Why did two million people pay more to get away?
- 20:36Speaker 3: They pay the car tells a lot more money to
- 20:39Speaker 3: escape apprehension and get to New York's Icnago wherever. Why
- 20:42Speaker 3: don't they pay less? Why would you pay more to
- 20:45Speaker 3: get away because you don't want to be vetted, you
- 20:48Speaker 3: don't want a two finger printed. It's just scared to
- 20:50Speaker 3: hell off. Every American scares of hell on me. Somebody's
- 20:53Speaker 3: are going to be, you know, child traffickers. Some of
- 20:55Speaker 3: these are Karen Fatinal and some of these are going
- 20:57Speaker 3: to be people from the terrorort sponsored country. Under Joe Biden,
- 21:00Speaker 3: we wrest over four hundred people on terras wass's come
- 21:03Speaker 3: in the Southwest border. If you don't think a single
- 21:05Speaker 3: one of the two main guidaways didn't come from a
- 21:07Speaker 3: country sponsor and terror didn't come here to do us harm,
- 21:10Speaker 3: then you just crazy as you know it was what
- 21:13Speaker 3: was it? Just a few months ago we arrested eight
- 21:17Speaker 3: that we're planting a terrorist attack, a Russian type terrorist
- 21:20Speaker 3: atack in the United States. Lucky intelliens. The community call
- 21:23Speaker 3: him on some chad and we are able to arrest them.
- 21:25Speaker 3: But we're not perfect. Intelligence community isn't perfect. They weren't
- 21:29Speaker 3: perfect on Afghanistan. They weren't perfect on a lot of things.
- 21:32Speaker 3: So God help us. I think they're here. There's intelligent
- 21:35Speaker 3: port stander here. We know where some aren't being monitored,
- 21:38Speaker 3: but we don't know where others are. So that scares
- 21:41Speaker 3: the hell on me.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Well, And as you know, Chris Ray, the former director
- 21:44Speaker 2: of the FBI, every few months would come to Congress
- 21:47Speaker 2: and he would do everything but set off an alarm
- 21:50Speaker 2: and bang a drum to say we are at major
- 21:52Speaker 2: risk of a terrorist attack from the open Bordersmas and
- 21:56Speaker 2: Hezblah have declared jahads on America. As you know, the
- 22:00Speaker 2: border patrol under Joe Biden was advised beyond on the
- 22:03Speaker 2: lookout for Hamas has Blun Palestinian Islamic Jehad terrorists coming
- 22:07Speaker 2: across the southern border. And one of the things, Tommy
- 22:10Speaker 2: you said that was really important. Of the twelve million
- 22:12Speaker 2: illegal immigrants that came under Joe Biden, roughly two million
- 22:16Speaker 2: of those were god aways. That's by far the most
- 22:18Speaker 2: troubling of all those folks. The other ten million are
- 22:21Speaker 2: people who are apprehended, and apprehended in many instances is
- 22:24Speaker 2: the wrong term, because as you know, and I've spent
- 22:28Speaker 2: a lot of time down on the southern border, I
- 22:30Speaker 2: almost always go out on midnight patrol with the border
- 22:33Speaker 2: patrol agents when I'm there apprehended doesn't even characterize what
- 22:37Speaker 2: they were doing. Most nights, people would cross the border
- 22:40Speaker 2: and they'd go look for a border patrol agent and
- 22:42Speaker 2: actively turn themselves in because the result would be that
- 22:46Speaker 2: Joe Biden would say where do you want to go
- 22:48Speaker 2: and would fly them to wherever they wanted to be. Literally,
- 22:51Speaker 2: the Biden administration was the last mile of the human
- 22:54Speaker 2: trafficking network. But Tom, what you said is exactly right.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Those two million godaways are much more likely to be
- 23:02Speaker 2: violent criminals, much more likely to be murderers or rapist
- 23:05Speaker 2: or child molesters, much more likely to be MS thirteen
- 23:08Speaker 2: gang members, much more likely to be terrorists. And that's
- 23:12Speaker 2: the population that is most worrisome. And speaking of MS
- 23:16Speaker 2: thirteen gang members, just when I thought politics could not
- 23:20Speaker 2: get weirder, the Democrats have decided to go all in,
- 23:24Speaker 2: making their central party platform be that we should admit
- 23:29Speaker 2: more illegal aliens, and in particular, we want more Venezuelan
- 23:32Speaker 2: gang members MS thirteen gang members here. And they decided
- 23:36Speaker 2: that Kilmar Abrego Garcia is their poster child for the
- 23:39Speaker 2: Democrat party. Tom, how confident to tell us about Abrego Garcia.
- 23:44Speaker 2: How confident are you that he's a gang member, that
- 23:47Speaker 2: he's a criminal.
- 23:49Speaker 3: I'm very confident, and I've talked to the head of
- 23:52Speaker 3: Vice numerous times. People are understanding. So he got no
- 23:55Speaker 3: due process, Yes he did. He got due process from
- 23:57Speaker 3: two different federal judges who said he's in the United States,
- 24:02Speaker 3: a citizen OWL Salvador, and he gave up order of deportation.
- 24:05Speaker 3: He had a great two process, a great tax bayer expense.
- 24:08Speaker 3: On top of that, men went rice and they sent
- 24:10Speaker 3: those two plane loads of TDA and MS thirteen. Hundreds
- 24:13Speaker 3: and hundreds of hours were spent on every case. They
- 24:16Speaker 3: went to the criminal history, the immigration history, they went
- 24:18Speaker 3: to intelligence report, they went to confidential informant statements, they
- 24:22Speaker 3: went to wire taps, they went to a bunch of
- 24:25Speaker 3: stuff to to certify these people were members of TVA
- 24:30Speaker 3: and MS thirteen. So they got due process several times
- 24:33Speaker 3: Obrego Garcia's home, he's a citizen OWL Salvador. And for
- 24:36Speaker 3: those the Democrats said, well, they made a mistake. I
- 24:39Speaker 3: still say it was a mistake. It was an over
- 24:41Speaker 3: temporary oversecond. Here's the problem he had it withholding order.
- 24:45Speaker 3: He had not returned to Al Salvador because he feared
- 24:47Speaker 3: death from the gang. Two things have changed since that
- 24:50Speaker 3: order was given. Number one, he's a designated terror, so
- 24:53Speaker 3: that with holding order has been set aside. Number two,
- 24:55Speaker 3: the gang he feared it no longer exists now Salvador,
- 24:59Speaker 3: because a great work BUCKHETI did there. So the circumstances
- 25:02Speaker 3: surround that with building order are no longer valid. And
- 25:06Speaker 3: here's what would happened. If somebody was to make this
- 25:09Speaker 3: guy return to the United States, he would be detained
- 25:11Speaker 3: and removed the next day. If not, tell Salador to
- 25:14Speaker 3: another country. He's not here, but as President Boukeley said,
- 25:18Speaker 3: he is a pre certified national of Al Salvador. He
- 25:22Speaker 3: is home. He is home. He is a certified administer
- 25:25Speaker 3: team member, not just by ice, by local police departments,
- 25:28Speaker 3: intelligence reports, immigration judges in the Counch of Al Salvador.
- 25:32Speaker 3: Says his emistery team member, He's home is exactly where
- 25:35Speaker 3: he should be. This country, his wife, his neighborhood is
- 25:39Speaker 3: a lot safer because he's locked up.
- 25:42Speaker 1: I want to go back to accountability for a second time,
- 25:44Speaker 1: and I want to ask you there are a lot
- 25:46Speaker 1: of people that believe that there were laws that were
- 25:48Speaker 1: broken deliberately in the last administration. They knew they were
- 25:52Speaker 1: breaking the law. One of those would be former Homeland
- 25:54Speaker 1: Security Secretary my orci is that you mentioned a moment ago.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Should he be criminally the prosecuted for his role in
- 26:01Speaker 1: the border crisis if it was as deliberate as it
- 26:04Speaker 1: now seems.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Look, I think what he did was borderline trees in US.
- 26:08Speaker 3: I'm not an attorney, I'm not a prosecutor. But what
- 26:11Speaker 3: he did, he did more damage to this country. Him
- 26:14Speaker 3: and the Biden administration. What they did to this country,
- 26:17Speaker 3: I can tell you when they opened that border up,
- 26:21Speaker 3: sex trafficking women show to increase tenfold. A record number
- 26:26Speaker 3: of migrants died making that journey, over four thousand. A
- 26:29Speaker 3: record number of Americans died from fatanah that come across
- 26:32Speaker 3: that open border. And it's just what he calls this
- 26:36Speaker 3: country and from a national securities perspective, because here's what
- 26:39Speaker 3: his orders were, process quick, release quick. They didn't care
- 26:44Speaker 3: about the crisis. They cared about the optics of the crisis.
- 26:48Speaker 3: If there's no overcrowding, there's nothing to see here. So
- 26:51Speaker 3: border trades were processed as quick as they could and
- 26:54Speaker 3: releasing a quick as they could, and there's been several
- 26:56Speaker 3: instances would they release so quickly they have? The ice
- 27:00Speaker 3: can didn't come back and and it came back hot.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Actually they already remember reased. They came back hot as
- 27:06Speaker 3: a non inspected terrorist. So yeah, he what he did
- 27:09Speaker 3: was unconsortable. What he did is in my opinion, borderline
- 27:13Speaker 3: trees and is he should be held accountable because a
- 27:16Speaker 3: lot of deaths occurred under his watch. And look at like,
- 27:19Speaker 3: like Sandra Cruz said a few minutes ago, right now,
- 27:22Speaker 3: ninety six percent decline and illegal immigration when ninety six
- 27:25Speaker 3: percent less people are coming, How many women aren't being raped,
- 27:29Speaker 3: How many children aren't dying crossing that border, How many
- 27:31Speaker 3: no inspected terrorists aren't getting in the country. How many
- 27:34Speaker 3: pounds of fatanyl is not getting the country? What are
- 27:35Speaker 3: you going to see on the President Trump's administration? Vaentanyl
- 27:38Speaker 3: deaths to decrease, sex trafficking with decrease, smuggling with decrease,
- 27:43Speaker 3: and no inspected terists. They got no open night anymore.
- 27:46Speaker 3: Now that we've got the border secure, every single borders
- 27:49Speaker 3: religion is on the lying on patrol during his national
- 27:52Speaker 3: security duty under Joe Biden. It was an average most days,
- 27:56Speaker 3: an average seventy percent seven zero seventy percent of agents
- 28:01Speaker 3: were no longer on patrol. They were changing diapers, making
- 28:04Speaker 3: baby formula, making hospital runs. The last time. Aren't down there.
- 28:07Speaker 3: Before the election, I talked to hundreds of boarder players
- 28:10Speaker 3: and told me to hang on, hang on, changes coming.
- 28:12Speaker 3: I really think pleasant Trump's going to win. But they
- 28:14Speaker 3: told me no, we're sick of being tour station. We're
- 28:17Speaker 3: sick of being uber drivers. We process and delivered these
- 28:20Speaker 3: people to the very same people who pay for their smuggling.
- 28:24Speaker 3: They couldn't recruit. They couldn't people were quitting. They were
- 28:27Speaker 3: quitting before the even else well for retirement. They couldn't
- 28:30Speaker 3: read recruiting numbers. You know, last month, Ice, I'm excuse me,
- 28:33Speaker 3: Bord Patrol had the highest recruiting numbers and the history
- 28:38Speaker 3: of that agency just last month.
- 28:40Speaker 2: That's fantastic. And look, I will say, Tom's not exaggerating
- 28:45Speaker 2: at all. Like when I would visit with Border Patrol
- 28:48Speaker 2: agents the frustration. Look, the men and women who sign
- 28:51Speaker 2: up for the Border Patrol, they do do so because
- 28:53Speaker 2: they're patriots. They do so because they love America. They
- 28:56Speaker 2: do so because they want to keep our communities and
- 28:58Speaker 2: our families and our kids safe, and they want to
- 29:01Speaker 2: be out on patrol. Look these that's what you sign
- 29:04Speaker 2: up in the job. And they were sitting there just
- 29:06Speaker 2: shuffling paperwork. They were processing and just running a revolving
- 29:11Speaker 2: door to try to release as many illegal immigrants as
- 29:15Speaker 2: fast as possible. That's what may ORC has looked viewed
- 29:17Speaker 2: as job is accelerate illegal immigration, not stop it, but
- 29:22Speaker 2: make it go more quickly. Let me ask you, Tom,
- 29:24Speaker 2: you mentioned fentanyl. What do we know about the numbers
- 29:28Speaker 2: of fentanyl traffic over the first four months of the
- 29:31Speaker 2: Trump administration.
- 29:33Speaker 3: There's been a decrease, and I've got from three or
- 29:35Speaker 3: four different sources. The percentage of decrease is different from
- 29:38Speaker 3: every source. The problem is the CDC doesn't have good
- 29:42Speaker 3: metrics on fatanyl. But look across the country. You can
- 29:45Speaker 3: see the decrease in fatanyl. Fatanyl's being c's on the
- 29:48Speaker 3: southern border and the metrics and that's maybe something you
- 29:54Speaker 3: all to work on up there in the Senate. CDC
- 29:57Speaker 3: needs a track is more more accurately. Like I said,
- 30:02Speaker 3: you got you got a number of deaths reported by states,
- 30:05Speaker 3: you got number of death reported by CDC, none of
- 30:07Speaker 3: them match. So, but we do know there's been a reduction.
- 30:10Speaker 3: You don't see you know, three hundred of people dying
- 30:14Speaker 3: every day from fatola like we did see right, We
- 30:17Speaker 3: know we don't have two, you know, nine to elevens
- 30:20Speaker 3: a week happening from kids dying from Fatanah. So I
- 30:23Speaker 3: don't have exact numbers, but we already see the effects
- 30:25Speaker 3: of a secure boarder.
- 30:26Speaker 2: And Tom, let me ask you also, So, one of
- 30:28Speaker 2: the things we've talked about on this podcast. In twenty eighteen,
- 30:32Speaker 2: the Mexican drug cartels made roughly five hundred million dollars
- 30:37Speaker 2: from human trafficking. Last year, the drug cartels made over
- 30:41Speaker 2: thirteen billion dollars from human trafficking. That's a twenty six
- 30:46Speaker 2: hundred percent increase. Do we have any data yet? Do
- 30:49Speaker 2: you have any visibility on what has happened to the
- 30:53Speaker 2: drug cartel's revenue? Because one of the worst consequences of
- 30:56Speaker 2: what Biden's open border did is is it turned these vicious, murderous,
- 31:02Speaker 2: transnational criminal organizations into incredibly wealthy powerhouses, and it put
- 31:09Speaker 2: huge resources in their pockets. Did do you have any
- 31:11Speaker 2: date on what's happened to their revenues.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Well, one of the first best thing President Trump did
- 31:15Speaker 3: is designative terrorist organization because these cartells have killed more Americans. Yes,
- 31:20Speaker 3: every urance organization were combined. We knew that. That's why
- 31:24Speaker 3: there's so much buy on some Mexico. The last four
- 31:26Speaker 3: years cartels were fighting each other for control of the plausas.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Why because they're making record amounts of money, smuggling people,
- 31:33Speaker 3: record amount of money and trafficking women, children, and the
- 31:36Speaker 3: record amount of money moving dope across that border. Now,
- 31:39Speaker 3: with the board secure, we're hitting them where it hurts.
- 31:42Speaker 3: Are smugglings down, both drugs and people. Trafficking is down,
- 31:46Speaker 3: So we're hitting where it hurts. That's why the latest
- 31:48Speaker 3: intelligence force I see they're trying to produce and push
- 31:52Speaker 3: more fatanol into Asian European nations because their market here
- 31:56Speaker 3: in the United States has been so brutally attacked. I
- 32:00Speaker 3: wish what would happen is that Mexico would agree with
- 32:04Speaker 3: President Trump to let us help them take the cartels
- 32:07Speaker 3: and wipe them off the face ears because right now
- 32:09Speaker 3: they're like the police for cartel. They're in forty four
- 32:13Speaker 3: countries around the globe. They're like a fortune five hundred company.
- 32:16Speaker 3: It's going to take the United States to take them on.
- 32:18Speaker 3: Mexico's failed for decades to do it, and a lot
- 32:20Speaker 3: of mech show you know that military, police and government
- 32:23Speaker 3: rises are corrupt. I'll say this, a lot of the
- 32:25Speaker 3: corruption is force corruption. Because you're a police officer Mexo.
- 32:29Speaker 3: You're making you know, four hundred dollars a month, but
- 32:32Speaker 3: the Mexican cartel comes up and obviously ten thousand look
- 32:34Speaker 3: the other way, and you're going to take it? Are
- 32:36Speaker 3: they going to kill you and your family? I think
- 32:38Speaker 3: Mexico will be a much safer and much prosper more
- 32:40Speaker 3: prosperous country if they let President Trump help them wipe
- 32:43Speaker 3: the cartels off the face of the ear.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Look, that is absolutely right. And let me underscore that point.
- 32:49Speaker 2: A lot of people don't realize, particularly those on the left,
- 32:52Speaker 2: that what Joe Biden the Democrats did, it wasn't just
- 32:55Speaker 2: horribly cruel to the American people, it was horribly cruel
- 33:00Speaker 2: to Mexican nationals in Mexico. Turning these vicious criminals into
- 33:06Speaker 2: the most powerful economic force in Mexico has increased the
- 33:12Speaker 2: murder rate, the crime rate, the kidnapping, rape rate. I
- 33:16Speaker 2: visited with with a Mexican mayor of a town on
- 33:18Speaker 2: the other side of the border. And I'm not going
- 33:20Speaker 2: to say which mayor because he told me in confidence
- 33:24Speaker 2: because he was afraid, but he said in his town
- 33:27Speaker 2: they had had over three thousand disappearances, just people Mexican
- 33:33Speaker 2: nationals living in Mexico who just ran a foul of
- 33:37Speaker 2: the cartel and they just disappear, and they find mass
- 33:39Speaker 2: graves and the suffering and murder and kidnapping that that
- 33:44Speaker 2: has happened in Mexico because of the Democrats political decision
- 33:49Speaker 2: I think was cruel and horrible. And Tom, you're exactly
- 33:53Speaker 2: right that the US military can take out the cartels,
- 33:58Speaker 2: and we've done it before in Columbus. President Eurebe asked
- 34:01Speaker 2: the military to come in and take out the cartels
- 34:04Speaker 2: in Columbia, and we came in and did that, and
- 34:06Speaker 2: we could do it again and and and I do
- 34:08Speaker 2: think it would be much better if the Mexican government
- 34:11Speaker 2: invited us in it. It would have transformational impact within Mexico.
- 34:17Speaker 3: Yeah, they say a lot of lives, like say, Lexing
- 34:19Speaker 3: cartels have killed thousands of judges and prosecutors and journalists. Yeah,
- 34:24Speaker 3: and citizens. So you know, I wish they. I wish
- 34:28Speaker 3: they'd joined with President Trump, and that would be a
- 34:30Speaker 3: game changer, Uh, for Mexico and the United States.
- 34:34Speaker 2: All right, final question, we saw just this week that
- 34:38Speaker 2: that New Jersey Democrat Congresswoman Lamonica mac Ivor was charged
- 34:43Speaker 2: for assaulting law enforcement at an ICE facility. Uh, tell
- 34:47Speaker 2: me tell us how important that is? And and and
- 34:49Speaker 2: what do you think about about the fact that that
- 34:51Speaker 2: charges were brought for assault? We saw during the Biden
- 34:54Speaker 2: administration repeatedly, Uh, law enforcement, Customs, Border Patrol ICE agents
- 35:00Speaker 2: were subject to physical assault and no charges were brought.
- 35:04Speaker 2: How important is it that these charges were brought?
- 35:07Speaker 3: The Sun's a strong mentions is very important. It also
- 35:10Speaker 3: proves I don't bluff. I'd said them the day inauguration.
- 35:13Speaker 3: If you want to not support ICE, we'll shame mind you.
- 35:16Speaker 3: But you have that right. If you want to protest
- 35:17Speaker 3: against ICE and to protest against Trump's policies, that's fine.
- 35:21Speaker 3: If you want to watch ICE come in and clean
- 35:23Speaker 3: your city up because you're a sanctuary city don't want
- 35:25Speaker 3: to help, you can do that too. But I said
- 35:27Speaker 3: from day one, you can't cross that line. You can't
- 35:30Speaker 3: cross the line on impediment. That's a felony. You can't
- 35:32Speaker 3: cross the line on noiling and harboring, concealing and they
- 35:35Speaker 3: will go amas mice. That's a felony. You certainly can't
- 35:38Speaker 3: commit criminal trespasses at our facilities, and for God's sake,
- 35:42Speaker 3: you can't put hands on our ice officers. And this
- 35:45Speaker 3: happened during the same time frame. The same week, I
- 35:48Speaker 3: went to Blue Mass in Washington, d C. And Remembrance
- 35:51Speaker 3: of the men and women in law enforce and put
- 35:53Speaker 3: their lives out line to this country every day. So
- 35:56Speaker 3: we spent a week just just just praising these men
- 35:59Speaker 3: and women, talking to their families who also paid the
- 36:02Speaker 3: ultimate sacrifice. They lost the loved one forever. Children lost
- 36:05Speaker 3: their fathers and mothers, and mothers and fathers lost their
- 36:08Speaker 3: sons and daughters. In the same week we're supposed to
- 36:10Speaker 3: be hot in law enforcement, you got you got some
- 36:12Speaker 3: of the member Countress putting their hands in shoving an
- 36:14Speaker 3: ice officer, which makes that facility very unsafe. And I'm
- 36:17Speaker 3: sick and tired of hearing what we have Congressional oversight responsibilities.
- 36:21Speaker 3: There is a right way and wrong way to do it.
- 36:23Speaker 3: You don't force your way in the facility. You don't
- 36:25Speaker 3: put hands on an officer. There's we do oversight all
- 36:29Speaker 3: the time, and what are they finding out as people
- 36:31Speaker 3: are getting tours in that facility that they got the
- 36:34Speaker 3: highest detention standards in the industry, and it puts every
- 36:38Speaker 3: every other uh uh detention center in jail in the
- 36:42Speaker 3: state of New Jersey, whether it is a county or state.
- 36:45Speaker 3: It puts them to shame because our detention standards are
- 36:48Speaker 3: so high. So when you go and calls that kind
- 36:51Speaker 3: of practice, where we're trying to maintain a facility with
- 36:54Speaker 3: very dangerous people inside, we got to protect not only
- 36:57Speaker 3: the criminals, we got to protect the employees in the
- 36:59Speaker 3: city is on the outside. What she did was just horrendous.
- 37:03Speaker 3: She put hands on the officer. Like they said for
- 37:06Speaker 3: four years, no one's above the law. You're damn right.
- 37:09Speaker 3: They're not above the law, even members of Congress. The
- 37:11Speaker 3: president is above the law, but these are members of Congress.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Look amen, and I will say, Tom, I've visited dozens
- 37:18Speaker 2: of ICE facilities and CBP facilities. I've never found it
- 37:22Speaker 2: difficult to refrain from physical assault on an officer. Somehow,
- 37:26Speaker 2: that temptation was never there for me, and in fact,
- 37:29Speaker 2: for the opposite. It is my job to have their backs.
- 37:33Speaker 2: That's a job I take incredibly seriously. And I just
- 37:35Speaker 2: want to say, Tom, you were a patriot, You were
- 37:38Speaker 2: a great American. We have roughly a million unique listeners
- 37:41Speaker 2: who listened to verdict, and I want to say, on
- 37:43Speaker 2: behalf of all of them, and on behalf of thirty
- 37:46Speaker 2: one million Texans, thank you for what you are doing.
- 37:49Speaker 2: You are keeping my children safer, and Tom, I am
- 37:53Speaker 2: grateful you are on that front line for us, and
- 37:56Speaker 2: you and President Trump are making a massive difference for
- 37:59Speaker 2: the entire country.
- 38:01Speaker 3: Well, I appreciate that, but I'm not gonna take credit.
- 38:03Speaker 3: Please give the things for your listeners. You see a
- 38:06Speaker 3: borbite relation, you see Ana, Yes, just say thank you,
- 38:10Speaker 3: because I cannot believe that we knew they're gonna take
- 38:13Speaker 3: hate as soon as President Something got back in. But
- 38:16Speaker 3: say thank you because these men and women, their mothers
- 38:18Speaker 3: and fathers too. They don't hang their heart on a
- 38:20Speaker 3: hook at home and you go to work. They see
- 38:22Speaker 3: a lot of terrible things. They put the life on
- 38:24Speaker 3: the line. At three o'clock this morning, when everybody is sleeping,
- 38:28Speaker 3: me and send her is sleeping at three am this morning,
- 38:31Speaker 3: there's borbit relations standing on a dirt trail someplace going
- 38:33Speaker 3: to take something on. They don't know if it's just
- 38:35Speaker 3: an illegal alien or heavily armed drug smunker. They're gonna
- 38:38Speaker 3: take it on in the nearest back of us, miles away.
- 38:41Speaker 3: God bless the men and women of Barbatow, God best
- 38:43Speaker 3: the women of Ice, and God bless this great nation
- 38:46Speaker 3: we're taking it.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Amen. Amen, do me a favor.
- 38:49Speaker 1: Make sure you share this podcast with your family, your friends,
- 38:53Speaker 1: put it up on social media wherever you are on
- 38:55Speaker 1: social media, and I will see you back here tomorrow.
