- 0:01Speaker 1: Well, the happiest man in America right now may actually
- 0:06Speaker 1: be Joe Biden. Joe Biden walking out having just a
- 0:11Speaker 1: grin from ear to ear just I mean ear to ear,
- 0:18Speaker 1: happy as can be, thrilled, just thrilled to address the
- 0:25Speaker 1: country as the President of the United States of America
- 0:29Speaker 1: and clearly excited that the Democratic Party lost after they
- 0:34Speaker 1: excommunicated him.
- 0:36Speaker 2: From the White House. From the race.
- 0:38Speaker 1: I think he truly believes there's no doubt in his
- 0:41Speaker 1: mind that he would have beaten. In his mind, he
- 0:45Speaker 1: believes Donald Trump. But when the mafia turned on him,
- 0:50Speaker 1: and that's exactly who the mafia. When I say the mafia,
- 0:53Speaker 1: I'm not kidding, I mean it. The Democratic mafia in
- 0:56Speaker 1: the Five Families had turned against him. They turned against
- 1:01Speaker 1: him and said we're going to twenty fifth Amendment you
- 1:04Speaker 1: or you're gone. Well, now we know the end of
- 1:08Speaker 1: that story. They forced him out, They ran Harris, and
- 1:13Speaker 1: Harris ended up being a massive failure.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Joe Biden, Joe Biden, by the.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Way, who hates Kama Harris, had to be happy watching
- 1:23Speaker 1: the election results come in as vindication for them, going, Yeah,
- 1:26Speaker 1: they thought they could throw me out of here, and
- 1:28Speaker 1: they could win thiseg didn't work. Joe Biden addressing the
- 1:32Speaker 1: country in the Rose Garden. Here's part of what he
- 1:34Speaker 1: had to say.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Yeah, it's good to see you all, particularly good to
- 1:39Speaker 3: see my granddaughter sitting in the front row. Here ht Van,
- 1:42Speaker 3: Helloai honey. For over two hundred years, America's carried out
- 1:47Speaker 3: of the greatest experiment in self government and history of
- 1:51Speaker 3: the world. That's not hyperbole. That's a fact. For the people.
- 1:55Speaker 3: The people vote and choose their own leaders, and they
- 1:58Speaker 3: do it peacefully, and we're in a democracy. The will
- 2:02Speaker 3: of the people always prevails. Yesterday I spoke with President
- 2:08Speaker 3: elect Trump to congratulate him on his victory, and I
- 2:12Speaker 3: assured him I direct my entire administration to work with
- 2:16Speaker 3: his team to ensure a peaceful and orderly transition. That's
- 2:21Speaker 3: what the American people deserve. Yesterday I also spoke with
- 2:24Speaker 3: Vice President Harris. She's been a partner and a public servant.
- 2:30Speaker 3: She ran an inspiring campaign and everyone got to see
- 2:34Speaker 3: something that I learned early on to respect so much
- 2:37Speaker 3: her character. She has a backbone like a rammod. She
- 2:40Speaker 3: has great character, true character. She gave her whole heart
- 2:44Speaker 3: and effort, and she and her entire team should be
- 2:47Speaker 3: proud of the campaign they ran. You know, the struggle
- 2:51Speaker 3: for the soul of America since our very founding has
- 2:56Speaker 3: always been an ongoing debate, still vital today. I know
- 3:02Speaker 3: for some people it's a time for victory to state
- 3:06Speaker 3: the obvious. For others, it's a time of loss. Campaigns
- 3:10Speaker 3: the contest of competing visions. The country chooses one or
- 3:15Speaker 3: the other. We accept the choice the country made. I've
- 3:20Speaker 3: said many times, you can't love your country only when
- 3:25Speaker 3: you win. You can't love your neighbor only when you
- 3:30Speaker 3: agree something. I hope we can do no matter who
- 3:34Speaker 3: you voted for, they see each other not as adversaries,
- 3:38Speaker 3: but as fellow Americans. Bring down the temperature. I also
- 3:43Speaker 3: hope we can later rest the question about the integrity
- 3:46Speaker 3: of the American electoral system. It is honest, it is fair,
- 3:51Speaker 3: and it is transparent, and it can be trusted, win
- 3:55Speaker 3: or lose. I also hope we can restore the respect
- 3:59Speaker 3: for all our election workers who busted their next and
- 4:02Speaker 3: took risks at the outset. We should thank them, thank
- 4:05Speaker 3: them for staffing voting sites, counting the votes, protecting the
- 4:10Speaker 3: very integrity of the election. Many of them are volunteers
- 4:14Speaker 3: who do it simply out of love for their country
- 4:16Speaker 3: and as they did as they did their duty as citizens.
- 4:20Speaker 3: I will do my duty as president. I'll fulfill my
- 4:24Speaker 3: oath and I wanted the constitution. On January twentieth, we'll
- 4:29Speaker 3: have a peaceful transfer of power here in America. To
- 4:33Speaker 3: all our incredible staff, supporters, captain members, all the people
- 4:37Speaker 3: who been hanging out with me for the last four years.
- 4:39Speaker 2: God love you.
- 4:39Speaker 3: As my mother would say, thank you so much. You
- 4:42Speaker 3: put so much into the past four years. I know
- 4:45Speaker 3: it's a difficult time.
- 4:47Speaker 2: I know it's a difficult time.
- 4:49Speaker 1: That is as smiley and as joyous as I have
- 4:53Speaker 1: ever seen. Joe Biden coming out to a big grin
- 4:58Speaker 1: Joe Biden saying that the result of the twenty twenty
- 5:01Speaker 1: election twenty twenty four election are what he describes as well.
- 5:06Speaker 1: We're in a democracy.
- 5:07Speaker 3: For over two hundred years, America has carried out the
- 5:10Speaker 3: greatest experiment in self government and history of the world.
- 5:15Speaker 3: That's not hyperbole, that's a fact.
- 5:18Speaker 2: For the people.
- 5:19Speaker 3: The people vote and choose their own leaders, and they
- 5:22Speaker 3: do it peacefully. And we're in a democracy. The will
- 5:26Speaker 3: of the people always prevails. Yesterday I spoke with President
- 5:31Speaker 3: Elect Trump to congratulate him on his victory, and I
- 5:35Speaker 3: assured him I direct my entire administration to work with
- 5:40Speaker 3: his team to ensure a peaceful and orderly transition.
- 5:45Speaker 2: A peaceful and orderly transition.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Now there's part of me it's like, all right, this
- 5:50Speaker 1: is impressive, right, Like this is really impressive. He is
- 5:55Speaker 1: genuinely sitting there, genuinely saying, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
- 6:00Speaker 2: I'm just gonna be honest with you.
- 6:02Speaker 1: The smile on his face was, Hey, I'm going to
- 6:04Speaker 1: hand over the White House to the guy that you
- 6:06Speaker 1: guys thought I couldn't beat. Yeah, I'm gonna hand over
- 6:10Speaker 1: the White House to the guy that you guys thought
- 6:12Speaker 1: I couldn't beat, and you threw me out of office,
- 6:16Speaker 1: And I'm gonna sit here and say, not my fault.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Much of the work we've done is already being felt
- 6:22Speaker 3: by the American people. If the vast majority of it
- 6:24Speaker 3: will not be felt, we felt over the next ten years,
- 6:28Speaker 3: we have legislation we passed. It's just only now just
- 6:33Speaker 3: really kicking in. We're going to see over trillion dollars
- 6:36Speaker 3: worth of infrastructure work done, changing people's lives and rural
- 6:40Speaker 3: communities and communities that are in real difficulty because it
- 6:46Speaker 3: takes time to get it done, and so much more.
- 6:49Speaker 3: It's going to take time, but it's there. The road
- 6:52Speaker 3: ahead is clear, assuming we sustain it. There's so much,
- 6:57Speaker 3: so much we can get done, and we'll get done
- 7:00Speaker 3: based the way the legislation will passed. And it's truly historic.
- 7:05Speaker 3: You know, we're leaving behind the strongest economy in the world.
- 7:11Speaker 3: I know people are still hurting, but things are changing rapidly. Together,
- 7:16Speaker 3: we've changed America for the better. Now we have seventy
- 7:19Speaker 3: four days to finish the term. Our term.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Let's make every day count seventy four days to finish
- 7:27Speaker 1: the term. As he described it, saying that much of
- 7:30Speaker 1: what they did won't be realized for decades. That's what
- 7:33Speaker 1: you call fictitious legislation, guarantees and promises. By the way,
- 7:39Speaker 1: no one votes for president nine. It's America for something
- 7:41Speaker 1: you're going to do twenty years from now. Joe, and
- 7:44Speaker 1: I understand you're trying to build your legacy, and I
- 7:49Speaker 1: get that, I really do. I understand that you're trying
- 7:52Speaker 1: to act like you did all these amazing things, and
- 7:56Speaker 1: this is the easiest or the best way to act
- 7:58Speaker 1: like you did it right, Like this is the this
- 8:01Speaker 1: is the easiest, this is the easiest or the best way.
- 8:06Speaker 2: It's pretty funny, it's laughable.
- 8:11Speaker 1: It's hilarious that he's like, I'm gonna I pass legislation
- 8:15Speaker 1: that twenty years from now, you're gonna feel it. Right,
- 8:18Speaker 1: twenty years from now, you're gonna really feel this. It's
- 8:24Speaker 1: gonna be amazing we pass legislation. You don't even realize
- 8:27Speaker 1: it's gonna have an impact on you. Now you're like, wait, what,
- 8:31Speaker 1: Welcome the Democratic Party. That's all I gotta say is
- 8:34Speaker 1: welcome the Democratic Party. It's like a Kamala Harris word
- 8:39Speaker 1: salad special.
- 8:41Speaker 2: You know, can't you hear going You won't.
- 8:44Speaker 1: You won't know what we've done until we've done what
- 8:46Speaker 1: we've done, and then you will know what we've done
- 8:49Speaker 1: twenty years from now.
- 8:50Speaker 2: That's what Joe Biden just said.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Joe Biden saying this, the will of the people always prevails.
- 9:01Speaker 1: I don't know that's always true, but take a listen.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Over two hundred years, America has carried on the greatest
- 9:08Speaker 3: experiment in self government and history of the world. That's
- 9:12Speaker 3: not hyperbole.
- 9:13Speaker 2: That's a fact. For the people.
- 9:15Speaker 3: The people vote and choose their own leaders, and they
- 9:18Speaker 3: do it peacefully, and we're in a democracy. The will
- 9:22Speaker 3: of the people always prevails.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Yesterday, you guys, by the way, did try to lock
- 9:28Speaker 1: up Donald Trump. You did, like greatest house, You did
- 9:33Speaker 1: go after him and his family. So let's die down
- 9:37Speaker 1: the crazy for a little bit here. And I appreciate
- 9:40Speaker 1: the kumbay ayism now, but I'm also not I'm not
- 9:44Speaker 1: dumb enough to not remember. Okay, Like I remember like
- 9:48Speaker 1: the idea that that you know, you're sitting here and
- 9:51Speaker 1: you're like, oh, hey, everything's great and we respect everything.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Now, like I'm calling bs.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You guys have tried to overthrow the other people with
- 10:00Speaker 1: the Russian collusion hoax.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Never forget that you guys.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Knew, you knew, you knew that the Russian collusion the
- 10:11Speaker 1: studealsa was created by you, the Democratic Party, because y'all
- 10:14Speaker 1: paid for it. So Hillary Clinton's campaign and used it
- 10:18Speaker 1: to try to overthrow the will of the people and
- 10:19Speaker 1: impeached Donald Trump back in twenty sixteen, and to undermine
- 10:22Speaker 1: his presidency. You guys locked up people around him, put
- 10:26Speaker 1: him in jail, try to get people framed like General Flynn,
- 10:32Speaker 1: you abuse your power. Luckily, the American people saw it.
- 10:36Speaker 1: The American people understood what you were doing. The American
- 10:39Speaker 1: people were able to overcome all the corruption and everything
- 10:46Speaker 1: that you have done. And I think that is the
- 10:50Speaker 1: part here that's so important for people to understand.
- 10:53Speaker 2: That is the story here.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Is that the American people, even as you guys tried
- 10:59Speaker 1: to screw the America out of electing its own president,
- 11:04Speaker 1: you guys, the American people fought back and we want
- 11:10Speaker 1: that is amazing, It's truly incredible.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Thank goodness, Thank goodness.
- 11:19Speaker 1: This is now where we are, where we have a victory,
- 11:23Speaker 1: and we have you know, Joe Biden, who is happy right,
- 11:28Speaker 1: which makes me laugh because they try to throw them
- 11:33Speaker 1: out unceremoniously. And now there is this is this is
- 11:36Speaker 1: the revenge five three five nine seven three two five
- 11:41Speaker 1: three five nine seven three two eight hundred number one,
- 11:45Speaker 1: eight hundred and four seven four nine seven three two.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Want to get your phone calls in here your reaction
- 11:53Speaker 1: to all of this.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Now.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Some other news this morning, and that is that it
- 11:57Speaker 1: looks like peace in the least may be coming very
- 12:00Speaker 1: soon between Israel and Hamas Hamas seems to be winding
- 12:06Speaker 1: down the war quickly because they're afraid of what's going
- 12:10Speaker 1: to happen when Donald Trump takes office.
- 12:13Speaker 2: They are very worried about this. And if you think
- 12:16Speaker 2: that's the only thing that's changing, it's not.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Mayor Adams in New York City, knowing changes are coming
- 12:21Speaker 1: from the federal government, has announced he's inning food voucher
- 12:25Speaker 1: program for illegal immigrants in New York City.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Take a listen.
- 12:29Speaker 4: He is.
- 12:30Speaker 5: The mayor just announced that the city will no longer
- 12:33Speaker 5: issue vouchers to migrants to pay for food, ending a
- 12:36Speaker 5: controversial program that had repeatedly come under attack by conservatives
- 12:40Speaker 5: and others.
- 12:41Speaker 6: This pilot program in New York City, drenched in both
- 12:43Speaker 6: humanity and controversy, distributed debit cards to migrant family staying
- 12:48Speaker 6: in city funded hotels and allowing them to buy their
- 12:51Speaker 6: own Food's reporter Josh honyre following the breaking news for.
- 12:54Speaker 7: US, Josh Mobill, It's a program that, as you say,
- 12:56Speaker 7: generated plenty of controversy, but now it's absence may raise
- 13:00Speaker 7: even more questions. The so called Immediate Response Cards pilot
- 13:04Speaker 7: program was designed to help feed migrant families who'd found
- 13:07Speaker 7: themselves in New York with no way to afford food.
- 13:11Speaker 2: The one year contract.
- 13:12Speaker 7: Provided what the city described as culturally relevant food to
- 13:15Speaker 7: twenty six hundred migrant families, allowing them to basically buy
- 13:18Speaker 7: what they wanted. A family of four with under two
- 13:21Speaker 7: kids with two kids under five got about three hundred
- 13:24Speaker 7: and fifty dollars per week to cover food, in a
- 13:26Speaker 7: program the city said would actually save taxpayers millions a year,
- 13:30Speaker 7: but also reduced food waste. You may remember, the food
- 13:33Speaker 7: the city had been providing in migrant shelters was seen
- 13:36Speaker 7: as not culturally sensitive to the needs of some migrant groups,
- 13:40Speaker 7: and it ended up just going to waste. More than
- 13:42Speaker 7: a year, the city was groaning under the weight of
- 13:44Speaker 7: more than two hundred thousand asylum seekers. Official said the
- 13:47Speaker 7: migrant population has actually reduced lately. In fact, a massive
- 13:51Speaker 7: shelter on Roosevelt Island is in the process of closing.
- 13:54Speaker 7: In the meantime, Mayor Adams spoke on the phone yesterday
- 13:57Speaker 7: with President elect Donald Trump, who had vowed during his
- 14:00Speaker 7: campaign to mass deport migrants. Aside from congratulating him on
- 14:05Speaker 7: his window, Adams today would not say what they discussed.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Following Trump's victory, New York City mayor announcing he's ending
- 14:14Speaker 1: the food voucher for illegals, and its absence may raise
- 14:19Speaker 1: even more questions of what else is going to change
- 14:21Speaker 1: in New York. They're going to keep giving them billions
- 14:24Speaker 1: of dollars in free hotel rooms. That numbers, not exaggeration.
- 14:27Speaker 1: That's what they're spending. Why is this happening, I'll tell
- 14:32Speaker 1: exactly why. Because they know a different administration's coming in
- 14:37Speaker 1: and the rule of laws coming back to the White House.
- 14:40Speaker 1: That's what this is. Charlemagne the God African American host
- 14:47Speaker 1: this morning saying this Trump speaks to people's grievances better
- 14:53Speaker 1: than Democrats. I know people are going to talk about
- 14:56Speaker 1: misinformation and the dumbing down of society. I understand all
- 14:59Speaker 1: of that, but you don't have be intelligent to know
- 15:01Speaker 1: you can't pay your bills.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Didn't he say f Trump to Harris?
- 15:06Speaker 1: I mean in an interview, like, I'm pretty sure he did,
- 15:09Speaker 1: same guy.
- 15:11Speaker 2: It's amazing how fast.
- 15:12Speaker 1: And they'll change their tune when she and this is
- 15:16Speaker 1: a cautionary tale to any Democrat out there, Okay, Like
- 15:19Speaker 1: this is a very cautionary tale. If you think they
- 15:23Speaker 1: care about you, they don't if you think that they
- 15:26Speaker 1: worry about you, they don't. They don't even care about
- 15:29Speaker 1: Kama Harris. Like when they're done with her, they're done
- 15:31Speaker 1: with her, Like they don't care. They just don't care.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Folks. It's all about power. It always has been. It's
- 15:40Speaker 2: always been about power.
- 15:43Speaker 1: How is it possible that Kamala Harris could lose to
- 15:46Speaker 1: Donald Trump? Democrats now figured it out. They are now
- 15:50Speaker 1: officially blaming Joe Biden, saying that this is somehow Joe
- 15:54Speaker 1: Biden's fault. Joe Biden getting the blame by Harris' team
- 16:00Speaker 1: for the vice president's resounding loss, including okay, and this
- 16:07Speaker 1: just makes me laugh in including the popular vote. Remember
- 16:11Speaker 1: when they said it was all about the popular vote
- 16:13Speaker 1: and the electoral College is evil and it doesn't work
- 16:15Speaker 1: and it's racists.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Remember that. Yeah, yeah, there you go.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Joe Biden's name wasn't on the ballot, but history will
- 16:24Speaker 1: likely remember. The Associated Press is writing this morning, uh,
- 16:29Speaker 1: but history will likely remember Kamala Harris's resounding defeat as
- 16:36Speaker 1: his loss too, they write, as Democrats quote, pick up
- 16:43Speaker 1: the pieces this morning.
- 16:45Speaker 2: I do love the obituary. Like the obituary side of.
- 16:49Speaker 1: This is just oh so fun, because it's just so
- 16:53Speaker 1: fun to watch them freak out and to be so angry,
- 16:57Speaker 1: to be so frustrated, picking up the pieces, right, they're frustrated,
- 17:07Speaker 1: and now they're trying to figure out what to do.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Democrats picking up the pieces, ap says falling president like
- 17:12Speaker 1: Donald Trump's Trump's decisive victory, some of his of the
- 17:16Speaker 1: vice president's backers are expressing quote real frustration.
- 17:21Speaker 2: The Biden's decision to seek reelection.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Until this summer, despite long standing concerns about his age
- 17:30Speaker 1: and unease about post pandemic inflation, as well as the
- 17:36Speaker 1: US Mexico border, all but sealed his party's.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Loss of the White House.
- 17:43Speaker 1: So this is now Joe Biden's fault, not Kama Harris.
- 17:47Speaker 1: There are also many that are angry this morning and saying, well,
- 17:52Speaker 1: one of the big problems is we're mad. We're really
- 17:57Speaker 1: mad that we get to know Kama Harris, that there
- 18:02Speaker 1: wasn't enough time for her to introduce herself to the
- 18:05Speaker 1: American people. Hold on a second, You've been the vice
- 18:09Speaker 1: president for four years and you're telling me the American
- 18:13Speaker 1: people didn't have time, as you describe it, to get
- 18:17Speaker 1: to quote know you are you kidding me. The biggest
- 18:22Speaker 1: owners of this loss is on President Biden, said Andrew Yang,
- 18:25Speaker 1: who ran against Biden in twenty twenty for the Democratic nomination,
- 18:29Speaker 1: endors Harris unsuccessful run.
- 18:31Speaker 2: If he had stepped.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Down in January instead of July, we may have been
- 18:36Speaker 1: in a very different place. Biden will leave office after
- 18:40Speaker 1: leading the US out of the worst pandemic in a century,
- 18:43Speaker 1: the AP rights galvanizing international support for Ukraine in the
- 18:48Speaker 1: aftermath of Russia's invasion, and passing a one trillion dollar
- 18:53Speaker 1: infrastructure bill that will impact communities for years to come.
- 18:56Speaker 1: That's what they're saying his resume now is. But having
- 19:01Speaker 1: run four years ago against Trump to quote, restore the
- 19:05Speaker 1: soul of the country, Biden will make way after just
- 19:10Speaker 1: one term for his immediate predecessor, whoever came to impeachments,
- 19:15Speaker 1: a felony conviction, and an insurrection launched by his supporters
- 19:19Speaker 1: the AP Rights. Trump is vowed to radically reshaped the
- 19:23Speaker 1: federal government and roll back many of Biden's priorities. Maybe
- 19:27Speaker 1: in twenty or thirty years history, the AP Rights will
- 19:31Speaker 1: remember Biden for some of these achievements. That's what Tom Riley,
- 19:35Speaker 1: co director of the Center for the Independent and Sustainable
- 19:37Speaker 1: Democracy at Arizona State University said, but in the short term,
- 19:43Speaker 1: I don't know, he escapes the legacy of being the
- 19:46Speaker 1: president who beat Trump, only to Usher and another Donald
- 19:49Speaker 1: Trump administration four years later. The President on Wednesday stayed
- 19:53Speaker 1: out of site for the second straight day, making congrat
- 19:57Speaker 1: congratulatory calls to Democratic lawmakers who won down ballot races,
- 20:01Speaker 1: as well as one to Trump, who he invited for
- 20:04Speaker 1: a White House meeting that the present elect accepted. Biden
- 20:09Speaker 1: is set to deliver Rose Guard address today about the election.
- 20:13Speaker 1: He issued a statement shortly after Harris delivered her concession
- 20:17Speaker 1: speech on Wednesday, praising Harris for running an historic campaign
- 20:22Speaker 1: under extraordinary circumstances. Some high ranking Democrats, including three advisors
- 20:28Speaker 1: to the Harris campaign, expressed deep frustrations that Biden and
- 20:34Speaker 1: it was his fault for failing to recognize earlier in
- 20:37Speaker 1: the election cycle that he was not up to the challenge.
- 20:41Speaker 1: The advisor spoke on condition of eminemity because they were
- 20:45Speaker 1: not authorized to quote comment publicly. Biden eighty one ended
- 20:50Speaker 1: his re election campaign in July, weeks after a abysmal
- 20:53Speaker 1: debate performance sent his party to a spiral and raised
- 20:57Speaker 1: questions about whether he still had the mental acuity and
- 21:01Speaker 1: stamina to serve as a credible nominee, But polling long
- 21:07Speaker 1: before hand showed that many Americans worried about his age.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Some seventy seven percent of Americans said in August of
- 21:13Speaker 1: twenty twenty three that Biden was too old to be
- 21:16Speaker 1: effective for four more years, according to a poll.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Now that was a year ago. This article right here
- 21:23Speaker 2: just makes me laugh.
- 21:25Speaker 1: They don't understand that the real reason why Kamala Harris
- 21:28Speaker 1: lost and Joe Biden was going to lose. They don't
- 21:31Speaker 1: understand that the real reason is because they never listened
- 21:34Speaker 1: to the American people. They never listened to the American people.
- 21:41Speaker 1: That's the problem. And if they would have listened to
- 21:44Speaker 1: the American people, we'd be having a very different conversation
- 21:47Speaker 1: right now.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Thank goodness, they didn't.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Thank goodness, they refused to listen to the American people.
- 21:54Speaker 1: They're all fighting over a dude's age. That's what they're
- 21:59Speaker 1: fighting over. They're all fighting over the age of an
- 22:05Speaker 1: individual and fighting over well, she should have been given
- 22:08Speaker 1: more time. And if you would have given her more
- 22:10Speaker 1: runway and they didn't know her, she didn't get a
- 22:12Speaker 1: chance to introduce herself. Are you kidding me? She had
- 22:15Speaker 1: one hundred plus days and another three and a half
- 22:18Speaker 1: years as the vice president. Everybody knew who she was.
- 22:22Speaker 1: They rejected what she said she wanted to do. It's
- 22:26Speaker 1: that simple. CNN having a meltdown over him inviting Donald
- 22:31Speaker 1: Trump to the White House as well.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Here is what CNN said when they reported the.
- 22:36Speaker 4: News Deerson As we mentioned that the top President Biden
- 22:40Speaker 4: and President elect Trump also spoke today. We learned that
- 22:43Speaker 4: mister Biden will address the nation tomorrow. CNN's Kayle's how
- 22:47Speaker 4: she is at the White House for US First, Kayla,
- 22:50Speaker 4: what do we expect to hear from the president tomorrow?
- 22:53Speaker 4: And what did you hear about the conversation he had
- 22:56Speaker 4: not only with Donald Trump, but of course with his
- 22:58Speaker 4: vice president.
- 23:00Speaker 8: The conversations were very brief, they are a very high level.
- 23:03Speaker 8: A White House official said that President Biden congratulated the
- 23:06Speaker 8: vice president on what he described as a historic campaign,
- 23:10Speaker 8: and as for the conversation with now President elect Donald Trump,
- 23:14Speaker 8: President Biden talked about being a president for all people
- 23:16Speaker 8: and ushering in a peaceful transition of power, and those
- 23:19Speaker 8: are some of the things that we're expecting President Biden
- 23:21Speaker 8: to touch on tomorrow when he delivers this address. Despite
- 23:25Speaker 8: some of the more piercing rhetoric from the campaign trail
- 23:27Speaker 8: in recent weeks. We expect the president to talk about
- 23:30Speaker 8: how he was a president for all people and he
- 23:33Speaker 8: expects Donald Trump to be the same, how he will
- 23:37Speaker 8: uphold democracy, which is of course one of the core
- 23:40Speaker 8: pillars of what he ran on protecting back in twenty
- 23:44Speaker 8: twenty and frequently revisited throughout the course of the last
- 23:48Speaker 8: four years. Now, clearly it is not a bittersweet moment
- 23:51Speaker 8: for President Biden. It is expected to be quite bitter
- 23:54Speaker 8: as he delivers this address in a race he believed
- 23:57Speaker 8: that he could have won. That there's any tinge of
- 24:02Speaker 8: that in his remarks, we don't expect there to be.
- 24:04Speaker 4: We expect him to.
- 24:05Speaker 8: Be on script and speaking at a high level, but
- 24:08Speaker 8: of course we'll see when he actually delivers them.
- 24:10Speaker 4: Dana, Yeah, I mean you sort of alluded to this.
- 24:12Speaker 4: This is obviously a fraud dynamic here because President Biden,
- 24:17Speaker 4: as you said, still believed that he could have beaten
- 24:21Speaker 4: Donald Trump.
- 24:22Speaker 8: He was.
- 24:24Speaker 4: Sort of unceremoniously removed, even though he said he did
- 24:28Speaker 4: not his own what are you hearing from his advisors
- 24:31Speaker 4: about what's going on there behind the scenes. Well, Dana,
- 24:34Speaker 4: there are three schools of thought that have sort of
- 24:36Speaker 4: emerged in the light of day after the results have
- 24:39Speaker 4: come in and not just come in, but shown a
- 24:42Speaker 4: landslide and decisive victory of sorts for Biden's predecessor that
- 24:46Speaker 4: he really ran campaigned directly against. And those three schools
- 24:50Speaker 4: of thoughts are as follows. The first is, perhaps Biden
- 24:53Speaker 4: should have just remained the candidate. He had that strong
- 24:55Speaker 4: coalition in the blue wall of white working class voters
- 24:59Speaker 4: that helped tip the ray to his favor in twenty twenty,
- 25:01Speaker 4: and that carried Donald Trump in twenty sixteen. Perhaps he
- 25:04Speaker 4: would have been able to carry that out. Then there's
- 25:06Speaker 4: the school of thought that perhaps blame should be placed
- 25:09Speaker 4: on former President Barack Obama for anointing Hillary Clinton in
- 25:13Speaker 4: twenty sixteen, and to Speaker and mere to Nancy Pelosi
- 25:16Speaker 4: who effectively pushed Biden out of the race this time around,
- 25:19Speaker 4: with aids saying that it was essentially the party's most
- 25:22Speaker 4: powerful that told Biden that he needed to step aside.
- 25:25Speaker 4: They said that any other Democrat could beat Donald Trump,
- 25:28Speaker 4: and clearly they say that was not the case. And
- 25:30Speaker 4: then there's a final school of thought that is, perhaps
- 25:33Speaker 4: they just didn't fully grasp but just how unpopular President
- 25:37Speaker 4: Biden was. They believed that the data would eventually play
- 25:41Speaker 4: out in voter sentiment that President Biden's approval rating did
- 25:45Speaker 4: not accurately reflect how people actually felt on the ground. Batanna.
- 25:49Speaker 8: As we know, voters are never wrong. They have this
- 25:52Speaker 8: opportunity to speak their mind, to cast their ballots and
- 25:56Speaker 8: show where their priorities are. And that is the source
- 25:59Speaker 8: of a lot of reckoning for the Biden team in
- 26:01Speaker 8: the light of day.
- 26:02Speaker 4: Yeah, and it's pretty clear their priority was with inflation
- 26:05Speaker 4: and the economy. Cala, thank you so much, Anderson.
- 26:09Speaker 1: They should don't get it like they're the infighting here
- 26:12Speaker 1: is great news for us, because they don't get it.
- 26:15Speaker 2: They don't get that.
- 26:16Speaker 1: They didn't just they should have just shut up and
- 26:19Speaker 1: they should have listened to the voters they like, they
- 26:22Speaker 1: don't get it, folks, They do not. They refuse to
- 26:26Speaker 1: understand what is happening right now in this country.
- 26:32Speaker 2: And then what this was actually about.
- 26:34Speaker 1: They lied to the American people, for example, about this
- 26:37Speaker 1: last minute di je effort to say that Donald Trump
- 26:40Speaker 1: wanted to kill Liz Cheney, and everybody that heard the
- 26:43Speaker 1: quote knew that it was a lie. They lied and
- 26:46Speaker 1: said this was the last election where free speech will
- 26:50Speaker 1: take a stand, saying if Donald Trump gets elected, you're
- 26:52Speaker 1: electing a hit A guy named Hitler, a Nazi and
- 26:55Speaker 1: his supporters are Nazis. That didn't land. Lawrence Odona went
- 27:01Speaker 1: out there on TV last night. He was angry blaming
- 27:04Speaker 1: white men for Kamla Harris, saying you're racist.
- 27:07Speaker 9: Listen, Frederick Douglas would be so proud and admiring of
- 27:12Speaker 9: Kamala Harris. He did not just fight for the right
- 27:16Speaker 9: to vote for black men when only white men could vote.
- 27:20Speaker 9: He also fought for the right to vote for all women.
- 27:25Speaker 9: When he was editor of the newspaper The North Star,
- 27:29Speaker 9: Frederick Douglas wrote, we hold woman to be justly entitled
- 27:33Speaker 9: to all we claim for man. That was a very
- 27:38Speaker 9: unpopular opinion among white men in this country at that time,
- 27:42Speaker 9: and it remains an unpopular opinion among some white men
- 27:47Speaker 9: in this country to this day. It may be that
- 27:51Speaker 9: not enough people in this country yet believe in the
- 27:53Speaker 9: full equality of women to elect a woman president of
- 27:57Speaker 9: the United States.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Wow there.
- 28:00Speaker 1: It is white men you're to blame for Kamma's crushing
- 28:03Speaker 1: defeat because they do not yet believe in full equality
- 28:08Speaker 1: of women. No, I just didn't believe in our socialists
- 28:11Speaker 1: and communist ideas like price controls at grocery stores. Call
- 28:15Speaker 1: me old fashioned, locking up, locking up, actual criminals call
- 28:19Speaker 1: me old fashion, this idea that somehow it's you know,
- 28:23Speaker 1: oh if you and this and again, this is where
- 28:26Speaker 1: they're not paying attention. This is where they are not
- 28:30Speaker 1: paying attention. I can disagree with a candidate and it
- 28:34Speaker 1: shouldn't come down to racism, as you point the finger
- 28:39Speaker 1: at me afterwards, like that's their line every time if
- 28:43Speaker 1: you don't do what they say, Hey, we ran a woman,
- 28:47Speaker 1: is a is a candidate, and you didn't vote for
- 28:51Speaker 1: and so you're white, so therefore you're racist and you
- 28:54Speaker 1: hate women.
- 28:56Speaker 2: We heard it before with Hillary Clinton. We heard it
- 28:59Speaker 2: before Barack Obama. If you don't vote for Barack Obama,
- 29:02Speaker 2: you're an internal.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Racist like that that that is what I mean. I'm sorry,
- 29:08Speaker 1: Like this is now where we are and they don't
- 29:12Speaker 1: understand it. Folks, they don't understand it. Make sure you
- 29:18Speaker 1: share a podcast wherever you can with your family and
- 29:21Speaker 1: your friends, and I'll see you back here tomorrow
