Life calls us to many things. We will have to step-up in more ways and in more situations that we'd likely prefer at times. And when we have to step-up, the manner in which we do so becomes extremely important. We can do so in ways that are less than admirable or less than honest. We can attempt to side-step something, manipulate it to our convenience, shape it to our likes or dislikes, engage it in a way that invites the praise of the people that we admire, or we can ignore it altogether.
