- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know, y'all a suit on giving them like the
- 0:16Speaker 1: mos things in the sub Steve listen to mother for Steve,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't joint turn turn, turn out, turn. You got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn out to turn the water the water. Come
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your back, Uh huh, I shure We'll all
- 2:03Speaker 1: a good mart And everybody you're listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: come on dig me now, point and only Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Man o man o man? How
- 2:13Speaker 1: good is God to me? And part of the mission
- 2:17Speaker 1: and the reason that I have a radio show is
- 2:20Speaker 1: to become a share of more and more of a
- 2:23Speaker 1: shaff you know. I just hear my mother say it
- 2:27Speaker 1: to me all the time. But God blesses you to
- 2:29Speaker 1: become a blessing. And I think the more you understand
- 2:32Speaker 1: that about yourself, I think the more blessings will flow
- 2:35Speaker 1: your way. I think that once you understand the principle
- 2:39Speaker 1: that you know. But it's kind of tied together with
- 2:43Speaker 1: some other scriptures, and I'm not too knowledgeable about them,
- 2:46Speaker 1: of course, as usual, but I do know what I've heard,
- 2:50Speaker 1: you know, and you know, if you look at something
- 2:53Speaker 1: simple as do unto others as you would have them
- 2:55Speaker 1: do unto you. Wouldn't you want somebody to help you
- 2:59Speaker 1: if you need help? I just know how to get
- 3:02Speaker 1: it down there to where I've been able to understand it.
- 3:06Speaker 1: If if there's a scripture similar that it says do
- 3:10Speaker 1: unto others as you would have them do unto you,
- 3:15Speaker 1: or if that's you know in a prayer, would not
- 3:19Speaker 1: you want somebody to help you if you needed help?
- 3:25Speaker 1: You've heard you reap what you sow? Do you understand
- 3:30Speaker 1: that if you so discord, that discord is gonna come
- 3:34Speaker 1: your way. That if you hate, hate gonna come your way.
- 3:39Speaker 1: If you blog nothing but negative comments about people, your
- 3:43Speaker 1: life will be filled with negativity. If all you do
- 3:47Speaker 1: is talk about people, then guess what somebody got to
- 3:49Speaker 1: turn that gun around and talk about you. See, it
- 3:54Speaker 1: just stands to reasons. So what I've learned in my
- 3:57Speaker 1: life and through all the trial and tribulations that I've had,
- 4:02Speaker 1: is to take those lessons and share them with people
- 4:06Speaker 1: in case you ain't heard it from somebody else. See sometimes,
- 4:10Speaker 1: and the reason it seems like I'm redundant at times
- 4:14Speaker 1: is what I am is because I'm always trying to
- 4:17Speaker 1: find a different way to say the same thing, because
- 4:20Speaker 1: it's a funny thing. Man, you got to hear it
- 4:23Speaker 1: a certain way for it to click with you. How
- 4:27Speaker 1: many times have I heard a saying and then I
- 4:32Speaker 1: heard it a different way that it clicked with me?
- 4:37Speaker 1: You know, I've heard of this saying right here. Remember
- 4:41Speaker 1: this now, everybody's not happy for you. We've all heard that, right,
- 4:45Speaker 1: everybody's not happy for you. Well, that's very simple that
- 4:50Speaker 1: I don't need no explanation. That simply means of all
- 4:54Speaker 1: the people you know or do not know, when something
- 4:57Speaker 1: happens to you and you celebrating it, everybody's not gonna
- 5:01Speaker 1: join in on the celebration. That's all that is. But
- 5:05Speaker 1: then you take it one step further. My father used
- 5:08Speaker 1: to say something to me all the time. He says, son,
- 5:10Speaker 1: everybody come, which you can't go with you. I didn't
- 5:13Speaker 1: get that when I was fifteen. Everybody come, which you
- 5:15Speaker 1: can't go with you. He said, you're gonna lose some
- 5:17Speaker 1: of these friends you got along the way. But I
- 5:20Speaker 1: don't care where you get in life. No, this right here,
- 5:25Speaker 1: everybody can't go with you if you are constantly trying
- 5:28Speaker 1: to improve yourself. You constantly have to take assessment of
- 5:31Speaker 1: the people around you, because if you are going to
- 5:35Speaker 1: continue to go and continue to grow, then guess what
- 5:38Speaker 1: you got to have people that's on the goal and
- 5:41Speaker 1: willing to grow, or else, guess what you're gonna learn
- 5:47Speaker 1: the valuable lesson. You know, the late boxing promoter Butch Lewis.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I was talking with Butch Lewis one time, and man
- 5:54Speaker 1: with a good brother. Man, he say, every successful man
- 5:59Speaker 1: is doing what I call he got rope work to do.
- 6:02Speaker 1: He got rope work to do. He got to put
- 6:05Speaker 1: in work on rope. And I'm sitting there listening to
- 6:08Speaker 1: Butcher Lewis and all the money he had made and
- 6:11Speaker 1: all the people's lives he had changed, and all of
- 6:13Speaker 1: the moves he was made, and his incredible skills as
- 6:16Speaker 1: a negotiator on behalf of some very very wealthy people.
- 6:20Speaker 1: He was just an amazing man with no education, but
- 6:24Speaker 1: he read everything. He Butch Lewis read all that, all
- 6:27Speaker 1: the papers, all the periodicals. That brother knew everything. He said,
- 6:31Speaker 1: you got to put in rope. And I was sitting
- 6:34Speaker 1: there listening. He said, here is the analogy, little brother.
- 6:37Speaker 1: He say, you are on rope there's a thick rope.
- 6:41Speaker 1: You have on no shirt, you have on some tattered clothes.
- 6:45Speaker 1: You have on no shoes. Your shorts is cut off
- 6:49Speaker 1: just below the knee, and they tattered, and you got
- 6:51Speaker 1: dirt on you and you're sweating. There's this huge, huge
- 6:55Speaker 1: raw rope over your shoulder. That's burn marks on all
- 6:59Speaker 1: of your shoulder. Connected to that rope is a wagon.
- 7:03Speaker 1: That wagon has all your weight on it, all your responsibilities,
- 7:09Speaker 1: all the people you're responsible for, all your children, your wife,
- 7:13Speaker 1: your family members, your employees, your coworkers, your friends. They
- 7:19Speaker 1: all on that wagon. Man, They just sitting there. He's saying,
- 7:23Speaker 1: what you gotta do is you gotta pull that wagon
- 7:25Speaker 1: up the heel. The only thing with it is, can't
- 7:28Speaker 1: nobody help you pull your wagon? You pull your wagon alone.
- 7:33Speaker 1: He saying, Now, what you can do along the way
- 7:36Speaker 1: of pulling your wagon, as you can find yourself a
- 7:38Speaker 1: good wife, a good woman. He's saying that what that
- 7:41Speaker 1: woman does is she get down off the wagon. She
- 7:45Speaker 1: fan you while you pull it. She put water on
- 7:47Speaker 1: you while you pull it. She put stuff in your
- 7:49Speaker 1: mouth while you pull it. She kicked rocks out the
- 7:52Speaker 1: way while you pull it. But she but she pull
- 7:55Speaker 1: it for you. But she is equally as important as
- 7:58Speaker 1: you are on the pull of the He said, you
- 8:01Speaker 1: hear me clearly now, young soldier. He said, NA get
- 8:03Speaker 1: this hell, He says, people on your wagon that you're
- 8:06Speaker 1: responsible for. But you want the people on your wagon
- 8:10Speaker 1: to help you get your wagon to the top. So
- 8:13Speaker 1: what you hope is that they got their foot hanging
- 8:16Speaker 1: over the side pushing, They got one leg over the back,
- 8:20Speaker 1: or maybe both legs over the back pushing. They got
- 8:23Speaker 1: they might have their butt on the wagon, but they
- 8:25Speaker 1: push you with both legs. They're back facing your back,
- 8:28Speaker 1: maybe some of them facing you when one of them
- 8:30Speaker 1: got left leg hanging over trying to push. And you
- 8:33Speaker 1: hope that all the people on the wagon you pull
- 8:36Speaker 1: it's back there at least trying to help the wagon
- 8:38Speaker 1: get to the top of the hill. Here goes your problem.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Though everybody ain't pushing, Everybody ain't puck, ain't bear, everybody
- 8:46Speaker 1: ain't pulling, Everybody ain't kicking rocks out the way. You
- 8:49Speaker 1: got some people on your wagon that's just laying on
- 8:52Speaker 1: the wagon, drinking lemonade, looking at you, talking about how
- 8:56Speaker 1: long it's taking you to get your wagon up to
- 8:59Speaker 1: the top. Can let you talk my whitest wagon so slow.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Then when you start picking up picking up speed, they
- 9:05Speaker 1: want you to pull harder, you to pull faster, you
- 9:08Speaker 1: to pull mo. Then they want you to throw what
- 9:11Speaker 1: you then earned on the way up the hill backed
- 9:13Speaker 1: on the wagon so they can have MO. But guess what,
- 9:16Speaker 1: they ain't helping you get more. But they got a
- 9:18Speaker 1: sense of entitlement that since you got MO, they should
- 9:21Speaker 1: have more. Everybody come with you can't go with you.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Sometimes you gotta kick the people off the wagon that
- 9:28Speaker 1: ain't pushing and pull it and say, hey, man, I'm sorry.
- 9:31Speaker 1: I thought I could do this with you, and I
- 9:34Speaker 1: thought you was going with me. But it's clear to
- 9:36Speaker 1: me you ain't nothing but dead weight. And it ain't
- 9:38Speaker 1: my responsibility to carry dead weight anymore. I have carried
- 9:42Speaker 1: you as long as I have to carry you. You
- 9:44Speaker 1: are no longer my responsibility. I'm responsible for my family,
- 9:49Speaker 1: my wife, my children. I'm not responsible for you. You
- 9:52Speaker 1: got to get off my wagon because I'm a man
- 9:54Speaker 1: on rope. I'm on a mission, baby, I'm pulling. You're listening, show,

- 21:09Speaker 1: us to talk about his new prime time new show
- 21:13Speaker 1: on b ET and b H one that is coming
- 21:16Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour. But right now
- 21:18Speaker 1: it is time to ask the clo our chief Love Officer,
- 21:23Speaker 1: Steve Harvey in the building, to try and help you
- 21:27Speaker 1: with your love questions. Here we go, Juel and Saint
- 21:30Speaker 1: Pete says, I've been dating a man for a few
- 21:32Speaker 1: months and he used to work with my dad. When
- 21:35Speaker 1: my dad found out about us, he told me that
- 21:37Speaker 1: my boyfriend got fired for stealing office supplies. Do I
- 21:41Speaker 1: break it off now or take my time and form
- 21:43Speaker 1: my own opinion? Well, everybody to stole officers flat they
- 21:49Speaker 1: like you stole a call or you know, runner the
- 21:53Speaker 1: truck from down at the county, who ain't stole officers flay?
- 22:01Speaker 1: For the first time ever in my house one time
- 22:03Speaker 1: I owned the stapler. I have never thought said, why
- 22:09Speaker 1: who by a staple? Dog? I had a staple at
- 22:12Speaker 1: my house. Man, I had a paper cutter. I stole
- 22:15Speaker 1: a paper cutter one time. Yeah, with the book a
- 22:19Speaker 1: big blade on it. I don't even know why I
- 22:20Speaker 1: stole that? How did you see it? As a question?
- 22:26Speaker 1: Put it under something card and put it in my car.
- 22:30Speaker 1: I stole from cafetier. Who ain't stolen the officupply? To
- 22:34Speaker 1: break up with? No man because he stole office supply?
- 22:38Speaker 1: Just like you can't run for nothing. You do know this,
- 22:42Speaker 1: you know this well, you know you know it's you
- 22:45Speaker 1: know I'm gonna go right back to old something called
- 22:50Speaker 1: taught me. The word is a LLEGI hello, yes, you
- 22:55Speaker 1: better use it, baby. They don't have no proof, not
- 22:57Speaker 1: what you know. It's what you can prove at all
- 23:00Speaker 1: easy jokes. Any damn Trump can be president. You can
- 23:05Speaker 1: run Raven and belize, says my boyfriend and I were
- 23:11Speaker 1: hanging out with some of his friends and one of
- 23:13Speaker 1: them brushed against me and told me I had nice lips.
- 23:16Speaker 1: I just smiled and quickly walked away. My boyfriend asked
- 23:20Speaker 1: what he said? Do I tell him the truth or
- 23:22Speaker 1: keep it to myself? Now you need to keep that
- 23:25Speaker 1: to yourself because there's gone the energy we have about
- 23:29Speaker 1: that type of stuff is different as long as you
- 23:32Speaker 1: don't respond. No, don't tell you man that one, because
- 23:37Speaker 1: that that that you have no idea what that could go.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Now the question you need to ask yourself, Craven, did
- 23:44Speaker 1: you want him brushing up against you? Did it bother you?
- 23:48Speaker 1: What he said? Don't just walk away? And that's all
- 23:55Speaker 1: he said, you got some nice lips. He can't say
- 23:58Speaker 1: that in front of your boyfriend. They paid your compliment. Person.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Now you know that means him and him and him
- 24:04Speaker 1: and your boyfriend and him. Ain't that close? Y'all? Was
- 24:07Speaker 1: hanging out with some people that ain't his boy boy,
- 24:10Speaker 1: that ain't his home. Now, he wouldn't do that, so
- 24:12Speaker 1: you know, the real homie ain't gonna do that. But
- 24:15Speaker 1: you know, as y'all relationship progresses, keep your owning and
- 24:19Speaker 1: then Warren's boyfriend. Let's get back to these lips though.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Go to Steve harfilm dot com. Let us see what
- 24:26Speaker 1: they're looking like so we understand what the man were
- 24:29Speaker 1: talking about. We can't get a clear picture to stand without.
- 24:32Speaker 1: We want to zero, We want to see it all right.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Moving on to Ursela and Hampton. Ursula says, I'm thirty
- 24:40Speaker 1: nine years old and I'm having an affair with your sons. Huh,
- 24:45Speaker 1: not with the name Ersla. You ain't go ahead and
- 24:48Speaker 1: they ain't making no more Ursa than him. No, that's
- 24:54Speaker 1: young for Ersla. Come on, Sherlan. Anyway, she's having an
- 24:59Speaker 1: affair with her son's best friend's dad. Okay, she said,
- 25:03Speaker 1: we all went on a spring break trip like we're
- 25:05Speaker 1: a family. So I'm confused as to why he won't
- 25:08Speaker 1: leave his wife. My son will figure things out soon,
- 25:11Speaker 1: So how should I handle this? What? Wait a minute,
- 25:15Speaker 1: they all went on a trip together. We all wife. Yeah,
- 25:21Speaker 1: she said they went on a spring break trip like
- 25:23Speaker 1: we're a family. So I'm confused as to why he
- 25:26Speaker 1: won't leave his wife. She must be sick. It must
- 25:31Speaker 1: be sound wrong with the wife. Let's why she stupid?
- 25:37Speaker 1: She had to be. I'm trying to figure out what
- 25:43Speaker 1: black woman, let's humble go with the other woman. She
- 25:47Speaker 1: couldn't make the trip. You ain't working? How she was working? Yeah, hey,
- 25:51Speaker 1: medical leave. You can't let that go? Right? Is she
- 25:56Speaker 1: an cast her? Right? Dog? I don't. I don't. God,
- 26:00Speaker 1: I can't think of no way that black making this trip.
- 26:04Speaker 1: So I but yeah, I got nothing. Now, your question
- 26:08Speaker 1: is why won't he leave his wife? Because why? Why? Why?
- 26:13Speaker 1: Why do he have to? Yeah, he got you. He
- 26:17Speaker 1: didn't say he wanted to marry you. He said he
- 26:19Speaker 1: wanted you. Y'all be adding too much to the center.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Oh my god, I want you so bad. He didn't
- 26:25Speaker 1: say he wanted to be with you the rest of
- 26:27Speaker 1: his life. He didn't say he wanted to marry you.
- 26:30Speaker 1: He just said he wants you so bad, and he
- 26:32Speaker 1: wants you more than he wants anything in life. Those
- 26:35Speaker 1: all these his true statement. Anybody man, no ursela Now
- 26:42Speaker 1: because of her name. Well, I'm not pinning to be
- 26:44Speaker 1: sitting up there, don't work out, I'm not I'm not
- 26:50Speaker 1: fifty doing this. Yeah, Steve, Steve grandmama Hill name alone?
- 27:00Speaker 1: Is that what we concerned about? Her name? All right? Oh?
- 27:14Speaker 1: Here we go, so all right? Moving on last one
- 27:18Speaker 1: Steve Katherine in Stamford. Catherine says, I'm married to a
- 27:22Speaker 1: man that won't wear his wedding band. He wants to
- 27:25Speaker 1: get a tattoo on his ring finger instead. I don't
- 27:28Speaker 1: think that's good enough, And he said, I'm overthinking his decision.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Is a tattoo acceptable to you? Am I overthinking things? No?
- 27:36Speaker 1: But the NN it ain't a ring, it's a tattoo. Yeah, man,
- 27:41Speaker 1: I tattooed my left hand, third face. You know how
- 27:44Speaker 1: many stories overhead about that tattoo, But like, give us one.
- 27:48Speaker 1: I'm married to Chris. I'm married to my dreams and visions. Yea,
- 27:58Speaker 1: And every time I look at it to remind asked
- 28:00Speaker 1: me to be remained dedicated to all the goals I've
- 28:03Speaker 1: set to myself. I'm married to creating a secure feature future. Oh,
- 28:09Speaker 1: this tattoo gonna have so many meanings behind it. And
- 28:12Speaker 1: then I ain't got to tell nobody I'm married. I'm
- 28:15Speaker 1: finna lie too, because you the whole tattooed man, he
- 28:19Speaker 1: gonna get a tattooed. Got what well? I mean, but
- 28:23Speaker 1: that's cool. See everybody they favors. No, but it don't
- 28:28Speaker 1: matter though, I mean, who don't know they they married?
- 28:31Speaker 1: Like I left my winding ring at the house one day.
- 28:34Speaker 1: I was taping Family Feud and I walked out on
- 28:37Speaker 1: stage and I realized I didn't have it, and I
- 28:39Speaker 1: told somebody to tell somebody from the house to bring
- 28:41Speaker 1: it down to the set. And Miss harg you're gonna
- 28:43Speaker 1: tape your show without your ring? Yeah? What if? Miss Marge?
- 28:46Speaker 1: You see that? Miss Margie know who who she mans? Right?
- 28:50Speaker 1: And everybody out here know I'm married. I'm gonna this ring. Listen,
- 28:54Speaker 1: But we're not fin a tattooed all the day. I mean,
- 29:01Speaker 1: they can do that whatever you want to do, all right? Uh,
- 29:08Speaker 1: coming up next, renowned journalist Ed Gordon will be our
- 29:12Speaker 1: special guest right after this. You're listening, everybody, Uh, Like,
- 29:21Speaker 1: I promise we got an old family memo on the phone.
- 29:24Speaker 1: He's back to the show. He's an Emmy Award winning
- 29:27Speaker 1: journalist television host. He's a bestselling author and for years
- 29:32Speaker 1: he has covered the nation's top stories, and now he's
- 29:36Speaker 1: featured on America in Black. It's a news magazine show
- 29:41Speaker 1: that highlights the stories and issues that impact Black America.
- 29:45Speaker 1: We're gonna find out more about it. Lady Legitimate, please
- 29:48Speaker 1: welcome to the show. My dude, my boy straight out
- 29:53Speaker 1: of Detroit cast Peck High. He went to college, but
- 29:58Speaker 1: I don't want nothing about that. This cast take damn

- 30:11Speaker 1: hey man, what's going on in I've been away from y'all? Man? Man,
- 30:14Speaker 1: this crazy man. But she was out. You was what

- 30:24Speaker 1: grewing you was you was brewing, You was married nat
- 30:29Speaker 1: he was in the lab. Okay, coming up with Yeah,
- 30:34Speaker 1: it's recording the album what are you talking? Yeah, hey man,
- 30:38Speaker 1: let's talk about this man. Because American Black is called
- 30:41Speaker 1: the news magazine show. So what sets this apart from
- 30:44Speaker 1: the other news show? Well, set to the partners, it's
- 30:48Speaker 1: about us, UH, CBS News and BT of collaborated to
- 30:52Speaker 1: bring this news magazine and we've been trying to get
- 30:55Speaker 1: something like this for a long time, and so you know,
- 30:59Speaker 1: whenever I place, people say ed, you know, we want
- 31:01Speaker 1: to see you back. We need your voice out there.
- 31:04Speaker 1: So here it is. And you know what I tell
- 31:06Speaker 1: people is we got to support this kind of stuff.
- 31:09Speaker 1: You say you want it, so when it's there, you
- 31:11Speaker 1: gotta support it. It's a monthly comes on BET the
- 31:14Speaker 1: first Sunday and every month it's ten pm Eastern, and
- 31:19Speaker 1: then after that you can see it on all Paramount platforms,
- 31:22Speaker 1: so Paramount plus, b ET, vh RON on all of
- 31:26Speaker 1: their platforms. It's all over. So we're excited about the possibility.
- 31:30Speaker 1: But I tell people, you've got to support it. Yeah,
- 31:33Speaker 1: that's absolutely right. Man. We got in the first episode
- 31:36Speaker 1: of America in Black, which comes on, like he said,
- 31:39Speaker 1: every Sunday at ten pm on BT and VH one.
- 31:43Speaker 1: This Sunday's episode is April second. Tell us about this
- 31:47Speaker 1: episode April second. So Michelle Turner from Entertainment Tonight has
- 31:54Speaker 1: a profile of LLL cool j of Jerika Duncan does
- 31:59Speaker 1: a story about Shade Room. Everybody's on there checking out
- 32:03Speaker 1: the news that inperation, I do a story about land Return.
- 32:06Speaker 1: You know, everybody heard about Bruce's Beach, and the family
- 32:09Speaker 1: that had that portion of Manhattan Beach returned and they
- 32:14Speaker 1: had to sell it back, but they received twenty million dollars.
- 32:17Speaker 1: But the woman who wrote Raising and the son, Lorraine Hansbury,
- 32:21Speaker 1: her family used to be own thirteen properties in Chicago.
- 32:25Speaker 1: If that family still owned them today, they would be
- 32:28Speaker 1: worth millions and millions and billions of dollars. The city
- 32:31Speaker 1: took it from her father, who was a gangster man.
- 32:35Speaker 1: And I don't mean it in the true sense, but
- 32:38Speaker 1: he was ahead of his time. In the thirties, he
- 32:40Speaker 1: went the Supreme Court and one integrated a neighborhood that
- 32:44Speaker 1: they ultimately took his properties, and now they're fighting to
- 32:47Speaker 1: get that property back. So I do a story about that,
- 32:50Speaker 1: and really, black folk all over the country can lay
- 32:53Speaker 1: claim to land that would help close this wealth gap
- 32:57Speaker 1: we've been dealing with for a long long time. There's
- 33:00Speaker 1: money to be had. You know, we always say this
- 33:03Speaker 1: country was built on the back of black folks, and
- 33:06Speaker 1: we did it for free. And so now some people are,
- 33:09Speaker 1: you know, turning back and saying no, no, we want
- 33:12Speaker 1: that money back. I bet that you mean you mean
- 33:20Speaker 1: you better not find that you got any mo man
- 33:22Speaker 1: let's be clear on that come out. I am bad
- 33:28Speaker 1: at you, mister Harvey. I ain't bad at your brother.
- 33:30Speaker 1: You've been doing it the right way for a long time. Yeah,
- 33:34Speaker 1: but I bet not have on It's no day you man,
- 33:41Speaker 1: Hey man, CBS thing God would be T and VH
- 33:45Speaker 1: and VH one for this new show American Black. Why
- 33:48Speaker 1: is it a project like this? Why is this important
- 33:51Speaker 1: to CBS? You gonna have to ask CBS that I'm
- 33:58Speaker 1: clear about this. Uh. You know a lot of this
- 34:00Speaker 1: stem from the unfortunate murder of George Floyd, and these
- 34:05Speaker 1: companies started to look and they felt like they needed
- 34:08Speaker 1: to give black folks a voice. And again, I'll say
- 34:12Speaker 1: again what I started out with. If we don't support,
- 34:15Speaker 1: it's gonna go away. And so you know, let's make
- 34:19Speaker 1: sure that the stories that are import to us and
- 34:23Speaker 1: the things that are important to us, we say we
- 34:25Speaker 1: want them. And here's an opportunity. So, you know, I
- 34:28Speaker 1: don't really care why it started. I just appreciate that
- 34:32Speaker 1: it's here and I'm gonna do my damn just to
- 34:34Speaker 1: bring the stories that I know are important to us.
- 34:37Speaker 1: I just say that all the folks who tell me
- 34:39Speaker 1: every day when they see me. We need you out there.
- 34:41Speaker 1: We want them stories here. They are well, folks. Ed
- 34:45Speaker 1: Gordon's back. Now it comes on. This show is called
- 34:49Speaker 1: America in Black. It comes on every Sunday at ten
- 34:53Speaker 1: pm Eastern on b ET and VH one. Now listen
- 34:59Speaker 1: to me. We have got to support this type of programming.
- 35:04Speaker 1: We've missed this brother, He's back, and the only way
- 35:07Speaker 1: for these programs to keep coming is we got to
- 35:10Speaker 1: support them. So we got to take advantage. Get off
- 35:12Speaker 1: of TikTok and get off of damn Instagram quick making
- 35:17Speaker 1: that show new sauce. Half that stuff ain't writing. Note
- 35:21Speaker 1: dog away, Let's get behind Ed Gordon. It starts this
- 35:24Speaker 1: Sunday night, y'all, ten pm easton on b ET and

- 35:53Speaker 1: right after this. Don't go nowhere because I'll still be
- 35:56Speaker 1: here man, and these fools are working with you're listening,
- 36:05Speaker 1: all right. So Steve, we know you have your new product,
- 36:08Speaker 1: Elevate Out the Healthy Green Powders, So tell us about it.
- 36:12Speaker 1: I mean, you know on the show we're using it
- 36:15Speaker 1: and all that. So we want to just find out
- 36:18Speaker 1: more about it. Let the people know elevate it. Well,
- 36:20Speaker 1: I think the best way to talk about it. I
- 36:22Speaker 1: can talk about it, but I don't want to be
- 36:25Speaker 1: a salesman. Well, I got him to the health and
- 36:28Speaker 1: wellnessed space to try to help people change some things
- 36:33Speaker 1: about them. Digested energy, brainfall, you know that type of thing.
- 36:39Speaker 1: And I found the way and I do it. I mean,
- 36:41Speaker 1: look at I'm very clear in the mornings. It's obvious.
- 36:45Speaker 1: You know my team is clear now timing you're using
- 36:48Speaker 1: the product. Yep, Junior's using Caller is using it, and
- 36:52Speaker 1: my husband and you should see tis so before he
- 36:56Speaker 1: goes to the gym, because you know he's a mortgage
- 36:59Speaker 1: loan officer, he's like on the phone on zooms confidence,
- 37:02Speaker 1: you know, like all day. So when he gets ready
- 37:04Speaker 1: to go to the gym, Steve he has a tumbler
- 37:08Speaker 1: and he's shaking it like like it's a it's just
- 37:12Speaker 1: so good, so he hadn't shaking it. And then he
- 37:17Speaker 1: drinks it, and then he goes to the gym, so
- 37:20Speaker 1: he gets to love boost. He loves it. He loves
- 37:22Speaker 1: the chocolate. So it's it's a good boost. It's a
- 37:25Speaker 1: good and it lasts pretty much most of the day.
- 37:29Speaker 1: That's what I like. And that flavor, that cherry. I
- 37:34Speaker 1: don't know what y'all drinking, but that cheryl. I'm chocolate.

- 37:40Speaker 1: this Juilior. I'm on the cherry. I'm with you. I'm
- 37:43Speaker 1: on the cheer. You know. We get up early in
- 37:45Speaker 1: the morning, up to do this show man, and then
- 37:47Speaker 1: what you normally for this though, I would tire out
- 37:50Speaker 1: by two o'clock, just tire out, hit the wall. I
- 37:54Speaker 1: don't have none of that problem no more. Man. I
- 37:56Speaker 1: go all day until all my business is finished for
- 37:58Speaker 1: the day. And you know it caused to elevate you absolutely.
- 38:02Speaker 1: I know. I can tell before they ended, I was
- 38:03Speaker 1: hitting the wall two o'clock. I'm now, folks, I'm not
- 38:07Speaker 1: I didn't tell them. This is what they had to
- 38:09Speaker 1: say this is just unsolicited. There are so many testimonials
- 38:13Speaker 1: out there about how good this green drink is that
- 38:17Speaker 1: I've come up with because I took some time and
- 38:20Speaker 1: I hired the right people, and this drink really does
- 38:24Speaker 1: what it's supposed to do. If you are trying to
- 38:28Speaker 1: be rid of brain fog and you want to be
- 38:30Speaker 1: just a little bit more regular good health. Is Keith
- 38:34Speaker 1: say that? Here? Will? I will say this. Jackie got
- 38:40Speaker 1: some issues with it because it's giving me so much energy.
- 38:44Speaker 1: I'm chasing her around that damn house with a boy
- 38:46Speaker 1: come home. I'm just trying to tell you, I'm chasing
- 38:48Speaker 1: her all way around this house. I'm just saying, you
- 38:53Speaker 1: ain't got leave to get that. Now. About elevation, just
- 39:03Speaker 1: go to elevate you dot com. L apostrophe evate elevate
- 39:08Speaker 1: you dot com. All right, all right, thank you. Coming up.
- 39:12Speaker 1: At thirty four minutes after the hour, a TCU football
- 39:16Speaker 1: coach had a very necessary talk with his team about
- 39:19Speaker 1: sexual harassment and the video has gone viral. We'll let
- 39:22Speaker 1: you hear it. Right after this, you're listening to Dave
- 39:26Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Texas Christian University's assistant A. D. And
- 39:32Speaker 1: strength coach Kaskazati had a very timely and very frank
- 39:37Speaker 1: talk with his team about what quote consent and sexual
- 39:41Speaker 1: harassment are. A cell phone video of the conversation has
- 39:44Speaker 1: gone viral and it has received a lot of positive feedback.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Take a listen, let's finish on this. Consent. Remember we
- 39:53Speaker 1: went over consent deserves good. You're with a young lady.
- 39:57Speaker 1: She has to consent to every act. So if you
- 40:00Speaker 1: were in the car with her and something went down
- 40:02Speaker 1: in the car, that does not mean that something has
- 40:05Speaker 1: to go down at the apartment. If y'all did something
- 40:08Speaker 1: in the car, that does not mean something else has
- 40:10Speaker 1: to happen that next day. You cannot assume it is
- 40:15Speaker 1: okay to send it or something like that. If you're
- 40:18Speaker 1: in study hall and attraction walks by you and she's
- 40:22Speaker 1: got tyson and she's going to study, you can and say,
- 40:27Speaker 1: look at that fat in harassment. She has every right
- 40:31Speaker 1: to turn around and press charge against you. If you're
- 40:34Speaker 1: not quite sure what to say, picture of being your
- 40:37Speaker 1: little sister or your mother and they show what you
- 40:39Speaker 1: call the thug. Are we clears what I'm talking about?
- 40:44Speaker 1: You need people to be real clear about this thing. Yeah,
- 40:50Speaker 1: now here go to people. Why is he talking to
- 40:53Speaker 1: the children like that, because your damn children away from you.
- 40:57Speaker 1: It is doing stuff that's very unchildlike. And you're trying
- 41:02Speaker 1: to get the message home. And if people kill me
- 41:04Speaker 1: man like some people are talking about mister Harvey, I
- 41:07Speaker 1: talk you heard you talk to Adam Minister. One time
- 41:10Speaker 1: came to my boys camp and I was talking to
- 41:12Speaker 1: these boys who were doing something wrong, and I was
- 41:15Speaker 1: cussing them. The minister said, mister Harvey, I was disapproving that.
- 41:18Speaker 1: If you're gonna be talking to these kids like that,
- 41:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna go home. I said, for brother, you don't
- 41:22Speaker 1: have to talk to him this way. You don't have
- 41:25Speaker 1: to talk to him this way. But I know who
- 41:28Speaker 1: I'm dealing with right here. See you just walked up
- 41:30Speaker 1: and heard it. You don't even know what they was doing.
- 41:33Speaker 1: You disapprove of what I was the way I was
- 41:35Speaker 1: saying it to them, if you knew what they was
- 41:37Speaker 1: doing and what they was getting ready to do, right
- 41:41Speaker 1: thing you used to do when you were a kid, bro.
- 41:43Speaker 1: And then he got this a man. The minister got
- 41:45Speaker 1: mad and left. Whatever. Dude, Look, man, y'all be tripping
- 41:49Speaker 1: with the method and the way people say stuff. Man,
- 41:52Speaker 1: you don't know how you got to deal especially boys. Man,
- 41:56Speaker 1: I'm sorry. Now, if you can talk to him the
- 41:59Speaker 1: way get through to him, that's cool. I got plenty
- 42:01Speaker 1: of people come to the ranch, talk customery, plenty of
- 42:04Speaker 1: speakers come up there. Don't say a mummling word. But
- 42:07Speaker 1: I've been with you for five days now. On day folk,
- 42:11Speaker 1: i'd have told your ass we ain't doing that over here,
- 42:15Speaker 1: and you'd have done it again. Okay, but but a
- 42:19Speaker 1: very timely message from the coach to the players, to
- 42:22Speaker 1: the team. Perfect man. In this day and age, man,
- 42:26Speaker 1: you can't say what you want to say to people.
- 42:29Speaker 1: And this is the problem, and that athletes are losing scholarships,
- 42:34Speaker 1: athletes are losing careers, are losing careers, People are losing
- 42:43Speaker 1: everything they spent their whole life building up to because
- 42:48Speaker 1: they had a moment. Hey man, it took hundreds of
- 42:53Speaker 1: years to be all wrong, wrong, fail in the day
- 42:58Speaker 1: behind what Yeah, yeah, that's not a slight on women.
- 43:07Speaker 1: That's the power of women's right. If you don't think
- 43:10Speaker 1: women are powerful, women can crumble countries, impies, I mean,
- 43:16Speaker 1: but it's outstanding for this coach to speak out and
- 43:19Speaker 1: care about these kids that he's coaching, that he's looking
- 43:22Speaker 1: out for every single day, because it's just like you said, Steve,
- 43:25Speaker 1: they can lose their future, their scholarships, the college education,
- 43:29Speaker 1: just like that, like that for every everything you work
- 43:32Speaker 1: for for a moment, right and then sometimes you know
- 43:36Speaker 1: a lot of kids don't want to hear it if
- 43:38Speaker 1: their parents tell them. They need to hear it from
- 43:41Speaker 1: somewhere else, out a different messenger. Yeah, like they're like
- 43:44Speaker 1: their coach, like a friend, like someone like that. You know.
- 43:47Speaker 1: So this is good. Thank you, thank you, thank you, coach, coach,
- 43:54Speaker 1: coach shut out to coach that was your coach? Yeah, yeah,
- 44:03Speaker 1: all right. Coming up next the nephew and the prank
- 44:06Speaker 1: phone call for today. Right after this, you're listening to show,
- 44:13Speaker 1: all right, coming up in about four minutes after the hour,
- 44:15Speaker 1: it's my Straw Barry letter for today and the subject
- 44:19Speaker 1: is my ex was on my couch. Huh. But it
- 44:26Speaker 1: could have been worse now, it could have been could
- 44:29Speaker 1: have been someone he could have been in the band. Yeah,
- 44:31Speaker 1: that'st thing you want to do, is wake up with
- 44:33Speaker 1: your ex. That's the last thing you wanted. That's not exy,
- 44:38Speaker 1: that's not exy. That's not sexy either, well might be
- 44:41Speaker 1: sexy anyway. All right, nephew, it's on you. Time for
- 44:46Speaker 1: the prank phone call. What you got? This is the
- 44:50Speaker 1: prank of decks, the prank of decks. I'm sorry, the
- 44:53Speaker 1: prank of decks. And we're about let's see two hundred
- 44:56Speaker 1: and eighty one, two hundred and eighty five. Let's go
- 44:59Speaker 1: to number three h two, number three O two, says
- 45:03Speaker 1: told truck driver. Told truck driver, one of that thing
- 45:08Speaker 1: you've been told shared. I can't think it's been a minute,
- 45:14Speaker 1: but I have been told. Okay, this is what your
- 45:16Speaker 1: this moment goes on in your twenties when you get
- 45:18Speaker 1: told and you know, you know, most of it this
- 45:21Speaker 1: was tickets, but sometimes this was just it just don't
- 45:24Speaker 1: work no more. It just I just gotta get it
- 45:25Speaker 1: told in just right. Here is the told truck driver,
- 45:29Speaker 1: also known it's candy Man. Let's go catch dog man.
- 45:34Speaker 1: They didn't blew out the whole electrical system in the
- 45:36Speaker 1: old Hello. Hello, I'm trying. I'm trying. I'm trying to
- 45:39Speaker 1: find Candy. Who is It's candy man? Okay, you you are?
- 45:44Speaker 1: You the guy with the told truck you're you're the
- 45:45Speaker 1: told truck driver truck. Okay, hey, man, you just started
- 45:50Speaker 1: my girl called three days ago and blew the old
- 45:54Speaker 1: electrical system out. Man, I did, hold on, hold on,
- 45:57Speaker 1: let me get back to my truck. He said, I
- 45:59Speaker 1: did what. Now, you do jump people's vehicles when they
- 46:01Speaker 1: when they got to stall vehicle, don't you allow that's
- 46:04Speaker 1: what I do. I jumped vehicles. Okay, so you actually
- 46:08Speaker 1: did my girl's car about three days ago. Man, you
- 46:12Speaker 1: just started her car. But now when you do when
- 46:14Speaker 1: you over jumped it, it's what you did. Okay. You
- 46:16Speaker 1: didn't blow out the whole electrical system in the old car,
- 46:19Speaker 1: the dad board, everything is just completely out. And they
- 46:22Speaker 1: talk about this's gonna be my fifteen hundred dollars to
- 46:25Speaker 1: get fifth thing. I'm sorry now it was this my
- 46:27Speaker 1: name Kemp Man. But you mur girl ceiler man, you
- 46:30Speaker 1: jump started, you over jumped hard car. Well just wait,
- 46:34Speaker 1: wait a minute, cannady, there's no such thing as over
- 46:37Speaker 1: jump in a car. You can't over jump a car. Man. Man,
- 46:40Speaker 1: let me tell your couch now, whoever told you that?
- 46:41Speaker 1: That's just now, that's just hey, let me tell you something. Man,
- 46:44Speaker 1: You overjump my girl's car. Okay, and you blew out
- 46:49Speaker 1: jump a car? What do you mean you that's what
- 46:51Speaker 1: you did, man. You didn't blow out the entire electrical system,
- 46:54Speaker 1: the entire dad's board. It's completely dead. The people at
- 46:57Speaker 1: the dealership saying it's gonna take fifteen hundred dollars to
- 47:00Speaker 1: get this thing backed up and running, well, you may
- 47:02Speaker 1: want to take a coping there. So they're trying to
- 47:04Speaker 1: rip you off. There's no such there ain't no such
- 47:06Speaker 1: thing is over jumping a car and blowing. And if
- 47:10Speaker 1: she drove off that day, then she should be fine.
- 47:14Speaker 1: I've jumped plenty of cars. I jumped cars all day long.
- 47:17Speaker 1: People always need to jump. I know I've never overjumped
- 47:21Speaker 1: the car. And look, you overjumped this car, okay, And
- 47:26Speaker 1: that's the reason why it's completely shut down. All the
- 47:29Speaker 1: fuses have blown out, everything is completely dead. You over
- 47:33Speaker 1: jumped the car, and now it's the fifteen hundred dollars.
- 47:36Speaker 1: And the reason why I'm calling you is you should
- 47:38Speaker 1: be the person playing for this. No, no, hell no, no,
- 47:42Speaker 1: now that's sure ain't gonna happen. I'm not gonna pay
- 47:44Speaker 1: for something I didn't do. You did it? You don't

- 48:14Speaker 1: don't get this fifteen hundred dollars to take care of
- 48:16Speaker 1: this whole car, in the whole electrical system, well I
- 48:18Speaker 1: tell you what. I'm over here on Martin Luca King
- 48:21Speaker 1: right now. And if you're talking about whooping somebody, you
- 48:23Speaker 1: bring it tone over here now. I don't over jumping cars.
- 48:27Speaker 1: And I'm gonna you know, money is your only fifteen
- 48:30Speaker 1: hundred dollars. You cut your son of them. You only
- 48:33Speaker 1: hold you. So let me tell you something. You'll be
- 48:35Speaker 1: in for a long day. I will take this told
- 48:38Speaker 1: truck and women straight up your And I'm not playing
- 48:42Speaker 1: with you now, I don't. I well don't talk to
- 48:45Speaker 1: people like this. And I should have held don't appreciate
- 48:47Speaker 1: it when someone talks to me like that, whooping you
- 48:51Speaker 1: gotta do? You know what? You're gonna mess around and
- 48:54Speaker 1: get your little cold truck told off something. That's what's
- 48:57Speaker 1: gonna do? What? And you're gonna get you what? Whooping
- 49:00Speaker 1: in the mix to all of this. Man, let me
- 49:01Speaker 1: tell you something. I need this fifteen hundred dollars today
- 49:05Speaker 1: offs for tomorrow so I can get my girl. Cost

- 49:33Speaker 1: gonna get this fifteen hundred out you. Now you're gonna
- 49:36Speaker 1: make a decision on which one you want to do.
- 49:38Speaker 1: If you're gonna bring me the fifteen hundreds today or tomorrow,
- 49:42Speaker 1: how you're whoop? You got your five o'clock tomorrow turn.
- 49:45Speaker 1: You ain't gonna way on tomorrow. I made my decision

- 53:59Speaker 1: Hear it, strawberryletta thank you nephew subject my ex was
- 54:04Speaker 1: on my couch. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm in my mid
- 54:08Speaker 1: thirties and I got divorced a year ago and I
- 54:11Speaker 1: was getting over my ex husband and I had started
- 54:14Speaker 1: dating someone new. I got the house and the divorce,
- 54:17Speaker 1: so my ex did not have a problem with that
- 54:19Speaker 1: until he found out I was dating a man that's
- 54:23Speaker 1: way more handsome and put together than he's ever been.
- 54:26Speaker 1: He got jealous and started texting me things about the
- 54:29Speaker 1: man being over to my house all night, and he
- 54:32Speaker 1: said it wasn't a good look. I blocked a cell number,
- 54:35Speaker 1: and I blocked him on social media, but our mutual
- 54:38Speaker 1: friends kept him in the loop about every little thing
- 54:41Speaker 1: I did with the new guy. It got messy, but
- 54:44Speaker 1: I was only focused only on this new guy and
- 54:47Speaker 1: losing weight because he is so fine. One of my
- 54:50Speaker 1: girls popped by one evening and my new man was
- 54:54Speaker 1: painting the kitchen with his shirt off. She went and
- 54:57Speaker 1: spread that bit of tea, and then my ex husband
- 55:00Speaker 1: started writing by my house. He sent a message to
- 55:03Speaker 1: me through my sister, saying we need to talk about
- 55:06Speaker 1: selling the house. This is my house, so I knew
- 55:10Speaker 1: that was alive. I thought avoiding him would make him
- 55:13Speaker 1: go on with his life, but it only made him
- 55:16Speaker 1: try harder to get to me. When I got home Thursday,
- 55:20Speaker 1: his car was parked out front and my front door
- 55:23Speaker 1: was opened. I called my sister to tell her that
- 55:26Speaker 1: he was there, and she encouraged me to go inside
- 55:29Speaker 1: and talk to him. I found him sitting on the
- 55:33Speaker 1: couch crying. He pulled me close to him and he
- 55:37Speaker 1: apologized for cheating and said he can't stand to see
- 55:40Speaker 1: me with another man. I've waited for that apology for
- 55:43Speaker 1: almost two years. He said he will never stop loving me.
- 55:48Speaker 1: My heart melted. We made love, and then he asked
- 55:52Speaker 1: for a second chance to get things right. Is he
- 55:54Speaker 1: being sincere or is he doing all of this because
- 55:58Speaker 1: he is jealous? Well, of course he's doing all of
- 56:02Speaker 1: this because he's jealous. I mean, you know, it's getting
- 56:05Speaker 1: back to him that you got a new man, and
- 56:07Speaker 1: he's fine and all of that. But yeah, he's jealous.
- 56:11Speaker 1: But he didn't think about any of this when he
- 56:13Speaker 1: was out there cheating on you now did he. But
- 56:16Speaker 1: now since you've moved on with your life with this
- 56:18Speaker 1: fine man, you're enjoying your life now, you're happy. Now
- 56:22Speaker 1: your ex realizes how much he missed you and everything.
- 56:25Speaker 1: It's been a year since you guys got the divorce
- 56:29Speaker 1: and everything, so he's had time to think about what
- 56:31Speaker 1: he's lost. I'm sure he has regrets. But guess what
- 56:36Speaker 1: he did this He broke up the family, he broke
- 56:39Speaker 1: up the home. We all know life is about changes.
- 56:42Speaker 1: We know that, and the wrong decision. Life is about choices,
- 56:46Speaker 1: I should say, the wrong decision can affect you for
- 56:49Speaker 1: the rest of your life. And clearly your ex didn't
- 56:53Speaker 1: make the right choice and he acted stupidly when he cheated.
- 56:56Speaker 1: I mean, that's obvious. My suggestion is if you want
- 57:00Speaker 1: to move on, would be to put the house on
- 57:04Speaker 1: the market and sell it. Okay, just like your husband suggested,
- 57:09Speaker 1: move away, start over if you can. Your ex won't
- 57:12Speaker 1: let you have any peace. You see that in this
- 57:14Speaker 1: house you two used to share, because he just can't
- 57:17Speaker 1: stand the sight of another man in what he thinks
- 57:20Speaker 1: is still his home. The other thing is, please keep
- 57:23Speaker 1: all these other people out of your business. Please The sisters,
- 57:27Speaker 1: the friends, all of that. They can't just be popping up.
- 57:30Speaker 1: They know where you live. You know that would be
- 57:31Speaker 1: a good reason to sell it too. They're running back
- 57:34Speaker 1: telling your ex what's going on now? He's asking for
- 57:36Speaker 1: another chance. So it boils down to does he deserve
- 57:40Speaker 1: a second chance after what he did to you? Will
- 57:43Speaker 1: you ever be able to forgive him and trust him again?
- 57:46Speaker 1: Most importantly, do his words line up with his actions?
- 57:49Speaker 1: If the answer to any of these questions is no,
- 57:52Speaker 1: then no, move on, Continue to move on with your life.
- 57:57Speaker 1: Steve Well was on my couch. This is really borderline
- 58:04Speaker 1: dangels a little bit, but I'm gonna give you my
- 58:08Speaker 1: honest opinion. And here it is. You and your mid thirties.
- 58:13Speaker 1: You got divorced a year ago. You was getting over
- 58:15Speaker 1: your ex. He started dating somebody knew you got the
- 58:18Speaker 1: house in the divorce. X didn't heal problem with that
- 58:21Speaker 1: until he found out I was dating a man that
- 58:23Speaker 1: was way more handsome and put together than he has
- 58:27Speaker 1: ever been. Okay, Jack Pott, So now you have moved
- 58:33Speaker 1: on and found something actually better. But you gotta understand
- 58:39Speaker 1: how busy the devil is. And I'm gonna show you
- 58:42Speaker 1: that in this letter. So now he got jealous and
- 58:45Speaker 1: started texting me things about the man being over my
- 58:48Speaker 1: house all night, and he said it wasn't a good look.
- 58:51Speaker 1: It wasn't a good look to who. It ain't a
- 58:53Speaker 1: good look to him. It ain't a good look for him.
- 58:58Speaker 1: Why it ain't a good look. Why because he got
- 59:01Speaker 1: all these spies out here. You're divorce. It's been over
- 59:06Speaker 1: a year. But let me explain something to you. It's
- 59:09Speaker 1: actually been more than a year. The divorce is just
- 59:13Speaker 1: the date that the courts give you. The marriage was
- 59:16Speaker 1: over before that. It just took y'all time to get
- 59:19Speaker 1: the old Kate finalization from the from the court. Y'all
- 59:24Speaker 1: had been stopped being all right with each other long
- 59:28Speaker 1: time before that, So it's really been way more than
- 59:31Speaker 1: a year. I blocked his sale number, I blocked him
- 59:35Speaker 1: on social media, but our mutual friends kept him in
- 59:37Speaker 1: the loop about loop, about every little thing I did
- 59:39Speaker 1: with this new guy. Now, I want you to understand
- 59:41Speaker 1: something we're saying our mutual friends because they ain't your friends. Them,
- 59:47Speaker 1: it's his friends. Them are not those They're not your
- 59:52Speaker 1: friend's sister. It got messy, but I was only focused
- 59:56Speaker 1: on the new guy and losing weight because he's so fine.
- 59:59Speaker 1: You better go good, going to get your life right.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: You got a man that's helping you improve yourself. You
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: got a chance to be happy. When I come back,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: I'll tell you the rest. All right, Steve, hang on,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: we'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter title
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: my ex was on my couch. We'll get back into
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening, all right, Come on, Steve.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject my ex was
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: on my couch? What you got a divorce from your
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: ex husband? Why you got a divorce? I don't know.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: He cheated, I understand later on, but he'd been doing
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: you wrong for a while. You've been divorced for over
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: a year. That's just the legal moment that the courts allotted.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: Your marriage was over long before that. So it's been
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: over two years probably since you've been out there in
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: the dating game. So you got out there, you'd have
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: met somebody way finding your husband and he ever been
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: and and you and your husband is jealous, started telling
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: you stuff about the man, and it wasn't a good look.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: It ain't a good look for who. Man, Stop letting
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: people put their insecurities and ill feelings on you. And
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: why you got it's a bad it's not a good
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: look for food. And then so you blocked him cell number,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: you blocked him on social media. But then you'll mutual
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: friends kept him in the loop about every little thing
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: I did with the new guy. Those are not your
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: mutual friends. Stop looking at that. Them haters, and the
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: devil is busy, man. The devil use a lot of
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: people to get his way. So the devil don't want
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: you to be happy. The devil don't want you to
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: see this new blessing because I tell people all the
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: time to break up is often the blessing. But to
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: get you not to see it, now here the devil
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: come with all these tricks. And now you said, you know,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: you've only been focused on this new guy and losing
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: weight because he's so fine. One of my girls popped
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: by one or even then my new man was painting
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: to kitchen with his shirt off. She went and spread
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: that bit of tea and then my ex husband started
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: riding by my house. Okay, he sent a message to
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: me through my sister saying, we need to talk about
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: selling the house. Selling the house. Why once again something
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: to benefit him. It's not a good look. It's not
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: a good look to him. We need to think about
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: selling the house. This is my house. We ain't selling, sugar, honey.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: I t that's what we ain't doing. I wish I would. Man,
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: you're gonna give up your asset and share it with
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: him like it's a week. No, no, sister, he keeps
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: dropping this guilt on you like he got right. He
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: gave up them rights when he gave up his marriage,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: So I knew that was a lie. I thought avoiding
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: him would make him go on with his life, but
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: only made him try harder to get to me. But
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: why though, See, you know what somebody told me one time.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: The finest woman in the world is your ex on
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: the arms of another man. She'll tell you that film Boomerang, Grandmama,
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: the finest woman in the world, it's your ex on
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: the arms of another man. And now hear his ass come,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: we're selling the house. Well, no, it's your house. Why
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: would you say on the house for what? That's your asset?
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: You know you got your new man paying the kitchen
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: with your shirt off. True. When I got home Thursday's
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: car was parked out in the front of My front
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: door was open. I called my sister to tell her
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: that he was there, and she encouraged me to go
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: inside and talk to her. What now you go inside
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: to talk to her? I found him on the couch crying.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: Where was all them tears when he was over the
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: other chicks? Hope? Where was all them tears? And divorce court?
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: Seeing court man, they give you a chance to rethink
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: the divorce. They will ask you if this is what
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: you really want to do? But what no tears? Then? Yeah,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: let me get on out of here. I got some
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: things I got to do. He pulled me close to
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: him and he apologized for cheating and said he can't
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: stand to see me with another man. I told you
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: that I've waited for that apology for almost two years.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: Here week ago, I've waited for that apology for almost
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: two years. I told you wasn't just a year this
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: marriage been. I've waited on that apology for two years.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: Why would it take a person who is kind hearted
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: two years to apologize? And what is this? What is
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: this closure that women always want? See you just wanted
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: some closure. Now here he come with this apology that
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: you've been waiting for for two years. He said he
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: would never stop loving me. I know, okay, cool, my
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: heart melted. We may love And then he asked for
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: a second chance to get things right. Is he being
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: sincere or is he doing all this because each other?
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: He jealous? Yeah, he regret losing you. I bet he'd do,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: because you don't jumped over that fence. Thought that grass
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: was green, but don't see the only reason that grass
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: look greener on the other side because you stop watering
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: the grass on your side. So now you don't went
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: over there and found out that day they weren't number
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: a bunch of tricks in the first place. Now you
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: want your real girl back, you know. I would be
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: curious what would happen system in your mid thirties if
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: you would share all this information with your current new boyfriend.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: Just share the information with him. He may have a
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: plan for you this way better than this food ever had.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: You may be you may you may have a blessing
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: right in your house. And now you're fitting to mess
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: up and listen to this food right here. If I
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: were you before, I make a decision to go back
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: to your ex husband who divorced you. Always remember why
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: you got the divorce in the first place and what
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: has changed system Well, what changed to the same. If
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: I were you, I would sit down and have this
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: discussion with my new man and see what his intent
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: saw before I go back to this movie. Just don't
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: sound good to meet those systems. It's really thought. All right.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: Thank you. Leave your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter on

- 1:06:31Speaker 1: let's go ahead and talk about these girls out of

- 1:06:40Speaker 1: they beat Maryland the other day eighty six to seventy five.

- 1:06:46Speaker 1: gonna take it. Man. The way they played. Man, they
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: they ain't losing, but they ain't winning by a small margin.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: They winning by fifteen and up. That's a difference. Yeah, man, Yeah,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: I mean they do. Man, that point guard cooked and
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: that girl sent of Boston. Oh my god, Jia Boston.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: They're doing it, man. So they're on their way to
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: the final four. Virginia Tech was over Higher State eighty
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: four to seventy four in the women's They on their

- 1:07:39Speaker 1: some good news too. Man for my brother Man, I
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: love this coaching his energy. On the men's side of
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: the NCAA. Texas former interim coach Rodney Terry is now
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: a head coach. Dropped this interim he got the job
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: five year deal. Uh great, that brother man had a
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: lot of energy. Man took text to lead eight. Man.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: But I'm just glad they did the right thing. Get
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: kept five year deal. Man. Well, who is in the
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: final fault for that? We talked about that? Miami? Well, no,
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: I don't fau A. San Diego State and State is
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: in the Yeah for the first time they beat Craton. Yeah,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: then you got Miami and KNU. So that's gonna now
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: you got to put your money on. My only disappointment
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: is Alabama in now. Yeah, that's my only only I'm
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: trying to tell y'all about Miami. Yeah, Miami though, yeah
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: I did too, but not that much. Kind of told that, y'all, Yeah,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: you kind of told it. We know, man, somebody either State. Boy,
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: that's Cinderella right there. They isn't that man, So he
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: wasna State. They ain't never had no basketball team. I
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: don't know what San Diego State, what san Diego State?
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: They never had a basketball team they served. They isn't now.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: So that's gonna see me. It's gonna be to get
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: basketball this weekend. Okay, I'm excited because the championship game
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: is coming Monday, Monday night. Yes, Miami's playing. Who my
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: AMMI is playing? You call? Oh you come, yeah, I'm playing.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: You would possibly have two Florida teams in the finals
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: and we're gonna see her. Come on, Lord Atlantic. All right, Junior,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: thank you, thank you. Guys. Coming up at the top
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: of the hour, we'll talk about Drake canceling his concert
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening show, all right, So Drake
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: has some very upset fans and saw Apolo Brazil. He
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: was scheduled to perform at Lollapaloosa on this past Sunday,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: but Drake canceled his show. He canceled it just hours
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: before his call time, and his production team said he
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: had to cancel due to unforese seen circumstances. But this
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: picture surface showing Drake hanging out with fifty cent at
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: a Miami strip club the night before his god became
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: even more outraged. Yes, yes, yes, and blasted him on
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: social media. He couldn't say he missed his flight because
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: everyone knows he has his own jet. I mean, after all,
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: we're talking about Drake here. So so strip club is
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: unforeseen circumstances. You ain't ever seen the show tomorrow? God huh.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: So here's a question. Have you guys comedians, I know
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: you travel a lot um. Have you had to cancel
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: a show at the last minute like Drake? No, I
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: got to go. I got to be there, yeah yeah,
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: And Steve always taught us to get there the day
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: before because miss mom, because I'm at a ship club.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Steve harm Drake got that Madre can miss some shows.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: I got to be there, Yeah, I ain't missing. Yeah,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Tim already already show Sam, I'm here, okay. But see
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: if you did miss the show right because you you
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: were traveling, you wanted to get there the day of
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: the show, and that's what taught you the lesson. I
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: think that I missed two shows in my entire career.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: Driving through Knoxville, Tennessee, trying to get the Asheville, North
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Carolina car broke down. I got that thirty minutes late,
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: too late. And then I missed the show in Birmingham
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: due to weather across the day on and I and
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: I me booming wa was waiting on this plane, and
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: the weather came and messed it up, and I got
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: there and I missed one show. I got there in
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: time for the next two after that, never again, I'm
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: going in the night before m I've never ever missed
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: my show called Time except twice. In my lesson is
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: the best lesson. I'm one and that first show I
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: missed what number one hundred dollars, and that cracked me.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: That would hurt more than the Birmingham show because I
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: needed that hundred. Lord, Lord, God, if you keep going
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: on this path though that you're on now with all
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: these lessons and everything. You're gonna be something one day.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: What you're doing now, Yeah, I'm trying some yourself it. Yep,
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: I'm trying to appreciate. I've been praying for you. I've
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: been you can have every you know, all the stuff

- 1:13:14Speaker 1: credit cards? Like there's no bills? Is everything just just
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: debt free? Well I don't. I don't do cause that's

- 1:13:35Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do that. I mean, but you know,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: I mean in the in the interim, you gotta do
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: what you gotta do. You want a card on your heel,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: ain't like I ain't never done it before. I just
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: had like like I have a house that's not like

- 1:16:40Speaker 1: A lot when I hear calling me Steve, act like
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: I don't hear damn thing so brute her. No, he
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: don't know what where did you get to twenty of them?
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: You gotta let us lest some time go by. Call
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: Stevens times. I gotta say your name. Maybe hear me,
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: hear me. That's horrible. Pass me. I'm scared my wife.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: I don't really know. Yeah, I ignored a question before
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: I saw the reb cushions. I can't do that. I
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: was looking at the TV. They just turned off. I
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: didn't know it up, didn't know she had to remote
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: just hit the power button. I'm not doing that. No,
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: I'm gonna answer these questions, smart man. Would you rather
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: get just one thing, just one thing on your body
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: reduced or would you rather get one thing on your
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: body enlarged reduced? Yeah? What would you reduce? Don't my stomach?
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: Cut that bad boy right down? I'll say, I have
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: so many roles. I'm muscling on this thing right here.
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: You quit talking to me. Clar if you're gonna have
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: a problem, because all I'm wearing is best, and we
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: have talked about these bottoms. You will have some bottoms on.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: I don't want no shirt though, or either all my
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: shirts is gonna be fishing shirts. Ain't crop nine, ain't
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: gonna crop them. You ain't gonna do that to my Look,
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: show up that six pack. Yeah, yeah, No, I'm getting
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: my legs elon, yeah, elongated so you can be taller.
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: See what it's like up him right around six one.
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: I ain't trying. I ain't trying to go to times
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: six one. Man, your nose and be bleeding all the time.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: All right, let's get this last one in. Would you
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: rather walk to the subway late at night for a
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: snack or would you rather just go to bed hungry? Yeah?
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: I don't need to be out there late at night
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: trying to get no damn sandwich to Big African Show.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: Were doing mega hats only you could get rope around
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: my neck and my sandwich fall. Now I got to
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: crawl through this darkness to find this fillway sandwich. All right, look,
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: that's today's round it would you rather? We'll be back
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: to close out of the show with Steve Harvey right
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to all right, guys, here we
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: are our last break of the day, and uh, it's
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: been a day. Um. We gotta say thank you to
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: Ed Gordon who was with us earlier. Yes, and we
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: love that Gordon. He has a brand new show coming
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: out this Sunday on b ET and M. Yeah, we
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: make sure we watch that and thank you Ed for
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: coming by and sharing with us America and Black. It's
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: what it's called. There's this Sunday night, ten pm Eastern
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: on b ET v H one and streaming on b
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: ET Plus and b ET her. So please don't miss it.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: Congratulations on Friday night. As long as you ain't on Friday,
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: I want to my closing remarks it d fuck the
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: people in Nashville. They're really a conversation overall. Again, our hearts, prayers,
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: condolences have to go out again to yet another group
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: of families who have suffered a census loss of child
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: family members. Somebody's mother, somebody's grandmother, somebody's aunt, somebody's daughter,
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: somebody's sons, somebody's child. Once again we have to send
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: out our prayers and condolences to another city, Nashville, Tennessee.
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: We're gonna fly flags at half mass at the Capitol
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: again to show that we're with you and we support you.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: We again the Democrats will call on the Republican Party
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: to do something about these guns. We will find out
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: again that these guns represent too much income for anybody
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: to do anything about it. We are going to find
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: out that our children is not considered as valuable as
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: their children. We are going to find out that your
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: life and the American public's lives come second to the
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: profit and the will of the NRIA. The NIA has
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: done a masterful job of corrupting the Republican party because
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: there isn't a Republican anywhere that will vote for any
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: gun lobbies because they have masterfully crafted the Second Amendment.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: Now they got those of you who are not rich,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: who are not making profits off of these guns. They
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: got you voting in the right way because they got
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: you thinking somebody's coming to take your guns from you,
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: and we're not gonna let that happen. And that ain't
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: what passing the gun laws is about. Nobody wants to
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: take your hunting gun. Nobody wants to stop you from hunting.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: Nobody wants to stop you from going to the gun range.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: Nobody wants to stop you from protecting your house, or
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: your property, or your family. Even what we are trying
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: to get everybody to understand is everybody got a gun,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: don't need one. You know, what about what is your
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: gun for that you're purchasing. Isn't this conjunction with hunting?
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: Shouldn't you have a license to have it at your
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: house or even if you're gonna have a license to carry.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: I don't know what the real answer is, but I
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: do know we ain't supplying no damn answers. See, it
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: ain't that we don't know what the answer is, because
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: I think we do. We need to stop the sale
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: of a lot of these guns. But you ain't fit
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: to do that, though, because the n I ain't got
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: y'all in their hip pocket. And for those of you
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: Republicans out here, man, really, man, you can pull the
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: blindness over your eyes all you want, but they're killing
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: people out here today and you won't do a damn
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: thing about it because you want to keep supporting the
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: Republican Party because of everything they stand for, and that's
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: your right. But dog gone, man, you still think these
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: guns is okay? How many more children? How many more
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: innocent people have to die at the hands of some
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: butthole that walks into a classroom, a movie, a church,
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: a mosque, a synagoge, a mall, anywhere, amusement park. You
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: can't go no damn where without some told coming in
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: here man with a rightful killing people. Are you serious
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: and you don't want to do nothing about it? Let
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: me tell you why. I don't think you want to
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: do nothing about it, because it ain't happening to your kids. See,
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: you got your kids wrapped up and protected in a
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: cocoon in these certain I'm talking to senators now, I'm
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: talking senators, Congressman, I'm talking about House representatives. Or you
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: got your kids wrapped up in a nice little cocoon,
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: or they got probably some safety things in place, but
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: we ain't got the funding to do that at all schools.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: So here comes this batty health of the other day
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: and walks in of the school in Nashville and kill
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: all these innocent people. Horrific that a parent has to
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: get the call to go up here to get your
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: baby's body? Are you kidding me? And we ain't gonna
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: do nothing about it because y'all damn Republicans would rather
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: sit here and vote for Trump and vote for the
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: Senates and let them take black history out of schools
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: and flawed, and let them remove blacks from this and
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: stop the border and all this here. Oh, the drugs
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: is coming across. If you'll ask wasn't using all these drugs,
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: they would quit bringing them over here. But we got
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: the largest amount of drug users. And it ain't cause
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: they're making the drugs. It's because we're using the drugs.
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: They ain't gonna do nothing about that either, because y'all
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: got your hand in that pocket too. It's about money, y'all.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: It's about that, all money. The Almighty dollar OJ said
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: it best. People will sell the precious body for a
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: small piece of paper. It carries a lot of weight
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: for that mean old, mean mean green, and that green
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: is more important than these lives out here. And that's
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: the America we live in. And that's a damn shame.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: And all of you Republican voters who do nothing about it,
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: these kids bloods on your hands. Then my closer remarks.
