- 2:18Speaker 1: Got a radio show because God to let you turn
- 2:20Speaker 1: your life around. Business, got a radio show because God
- 2:24Speaker 1: no better than you know. Yeah, Steve Harvey got a
- 2:28Speaker 1: radio show. Didn't see it coming, but he did. I'm
- 2:31Speaker 1: gonna share with you today a principle of success. You know,
- 2:37Speaker 1: it's it's important that we get our lives together. I
- 2:42Speaker 1: mean it really really is. You know, to hear after
- 2:44Speaker 1: is exactly what it says, is to hear after, and
- 2:48Speaker 1: hopefully for the majority of us, that's quite a way
- 2:51Speaker 1: He's off. So what about how you living today? How
- 2:56Speaker 1: about now? You know often talk to you talk in
- 3:00Speaker 1: the morning about your relationship with God that can never change.
- 3:03Speaker 1: That is at the forefront and the best thought process
- 3:10Speaker 1: that I can give you. And I know who I'm
- 3:12Speaker 1: talking to on the radio. I'm talking to a lot
- 3:15Speaker 1: of people, man, who out there just not sure. And
- 3:19Speaker 1: I'm talking to a lot of people out there man
- 3:21Speaker 1: that's trying to pull it together. In other words, you know,
- 3:25Speaker 1: I'm talking to a lot of people like myself. There
- 3:29Speaker 1: is a principle of success that is out there that
- 3:32Speaker 1: if more people understood one of the baits, this is
- 3:34Speaker 1: just one of one of the basic principles of success,
- 3:38Speaker 1: you would have more success in your life. And that
- 3:40Speaker 1: principle is this, the more people you help become successful,
- 3:46Speaker 1: the more successful you become. Well, the more people you
- 3:51Speaker 1: help become successful, the more successful you become. Because you
- 3:55Speaker 1: are a practicing helping your and as you do onto
- 4:00Speaker 1: others than it's done unto you. You know, you you
- 4:04Speaker 1: you build relationships. When you do that, people forget in success,
- 4:10Speaker 1: that has to be relationships. There is no one person
- 4:13Speaker 1: in this world who is just successful all on their own.
- 4:17Speaker 1: You are successful, and successful people form relationships and you've
- 4:23Speaker 1: got to really coddle these relationships. You've got to nurture
- 4:27Speaker 1: these relationships. They don't just happen. You don't just get
- 4:32Speaker 1: cool with people just cause you cool. No, you've got
- 4:36Speaker 1: to do some cool things to these people and for
- 4:38Speaker 1: these people, for these people to be cool with you
- 4:41Speaker 1: when you need some cool. I don't know if I'm
- 4:44Speaker 1: explaining that right, but that's the best way I can
- 4:46Speaker 1: tell it to you. I'm just regular, you know, I'm
- 4:48Speaker 1: I just speak like that. This is an important principle
- 4:53Speaker 1: to put into your life. The more people you help
- 4:56Speaker 1: become successful, the more successful you become. You cannot look.
- 5:01Speaker 1: You have to say to people, hey, look, I've done that.
- 5:04Speaker 1: This is what you got to do. You got to
- 5:06Speaker 1: take some time out to share. You have to share information, experiences, thoughts.
- 5:12Speaker 1: You got to take a minute man to uplift somebody,
- 5:16Speaker 1: give them some encouragement. Hey man, you can do it.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Don't give up. You have no idea. You you you
- 5:25Speaker 1: right now. You have no idea how significant you are
- 5:30Speaker 1: to someone else, how your words of encouragement could be
- 5:34Speaker 1: the difference maker. Today I'm talking about it's a person
- 5:38Speaker 1: looking at you that you don't even really know you.
- 5:40Speaker 1: You don't really know them, and you see them struggling
- 5:42Speaker 1: with something, just say, hey, you know what, I've been
- 5:44Speaker 1: watching you from afar. You're gonna be all right, man,
- 5:47Speaker 1: I see some men. You keep doing the right thing. Man,
- 5:50Speaker 1: You're gonna be all right. I had a meeting with
- 5:53Speaker 1: a young man for the first time, and this young
- 5:57Speaker 1: man came into my office. I never met him. He
- 6:01Speaker 1: has an internet service, which anybody can teach me something
- 6:05Speaker 1: about the Internet because I know little too close to nothing.
- 6:09Speaker 1: He was twenty seven years old, and he was amazingly
- 6:14Speaker 1: bright at this and I guess you know that it's
- 6:18Speaker 1: not that hard to impress me. But the fluid speech
- 6:23Speaker 1: pattern that he had about this very very difficult subject.
- 6:26Speaker 1: He was tossing around the terms I had heard, but
- 6:29Speaker 1: he was actually putting him in sensances where it had
- 6:31Speaker 1: made sense to me. It's very fluid, very very sure
- 6:35Speaker 1: of himself when he was talking about this little things,
- 6:38Speaker 1: young dude twenty seven years old. And when he got through,
- 6:43Speaker 1: the woman that had introduced me to him, I was
- 6:45Speaker 1: leaving my office and she was going to escort him out,
- 6:48Speaker 1: and I turned around and I said, young man, I said,
- 6:52Speaker 1: what what size pants are you and I guessed it
- 6:55Speaker 1: because I'm I've been dressing for long. I've been all
- 6:58Speaker 1: them sizes. And I said, you about a thirty ways?
- 7:01Speaker 1: He said, yes, Sir. I said, what side shoe you
- 7:03Speaker 1: ways at nine and a half? I said what side
- 7:06Speaker 1: shirt is? At a medium? He saw, I really like
- 7:09Speaker 1: extra lodge. I said, well, that's too big for you.
- 7:12Speaker 1: You just want to look blousy and bagging. And so
- 7:16Speaker 1: I was talking to him and I said, Man, I'm
- 7:18Speaker 1: gonna help you out. I said, man, because let me
- 7:20Speaker 1: tell you something. You're a sharp young dude. Man, you
- 7:24Speaker 1: are raised a sharp. I say, You've really really impressed
- 7:27Speaker 1: me today. I said, and you know what, young brother,
- 7:30Speaker 1: I said, You're gonna make a lot of money one day. Man,
- 7:33Speaker 1: I said, but I want you to get your image up.
- 7:36Speaker 1: I want you to. I want you to look at
- 7:37Speaker 1: how you dressed, because you're coming into professional people's office
- 7:41Speaker 1: and you're talking about doing something for them in it,
- 7:44Speaker 1: and it takes money to make it happen. I gotta
- 7:45Speaker 1: give you money to make this happen. What you cannot
- 7:48Speaker 1: afford to do is look like you need every dime
- 7:51Speaker 1: of this money. See you get when you're going in
- 7:54Speaker 1: and you talking about money with another person, the person
- 7:58Speaker 1: that's gonna give you this money. Can you can't look
- 8:00Speaker 1: like you need every dime of this money, you know,
- 8:03Speaker 1: So you gotta start presenting yourself. And that's all I
- 8:06Speaker 1: just said to him. I just said, man, but you
- 8:08Speaker 1: know what you shock, You're gonna make yourself some money.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna help you out a little bit. I walked out.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I went on about my business. Later on that afternoon,
- 8:16Speaker 1: I had a meeting with the woman that bought him
- 8:17Speaker 1: in and she said, mister Harvey, you have no idea
- 8:20Speaker 1: what you just did. He said, his eyes just teared
- 8:23Speaker 1: up when you walked out. He said, wow, man, that
- 8:26Speaker 1: man don't even know me, and he just encouraged me.
- 8:30Speaker 1: He's a man always thought I might could make it,
- 8:32Speaker 1: but he said, I ain't. Never had nobody like him
- 8:35Speaker 1: tell me I could make it. And just HEARDing it
- 8:38Speaker 1: from him, Man, that's all right. I'm I'm gonna get
- 8:42Speaker 1: my clothes together. But you know, I've been homeless. And
- 8:45Speaker 1: then he started telling the woman that he had been homeless,
- 8:49Speaker 1: and so, you know, then she telling me that now
- 8:50Speaker 1: I'm fitting the cry because you know, I've been in
- 8:52Speaker 1: that hole before. And I just I'm just sharing that story.
- 8:56Speaker 1: What y'all just to say. You don't know who you
- 8:59Speaker 1: talking who? But what does it hurt if you just
- 9:03Speaker 1: extend your hand to a person and give them a
- 9:05Speaker 1: moment of encouragement. See this young brother right here, he
- 9:10Speaker 1: could come back one day and be a major benefit
- 9:13Speaker 1: to me because he has a skill set that I
- 9:17Speaker 1: don't have. Oh. I might be old, mister Steve Harvey,
- 9:20Speaker 1: but hey, guess what, I don't know nothing about what
- 9:23Speaker 1: this young cat know. And he'd went off and educated himself.
- 9:26Speaker 1: And just a word of encouragement from somebody like yourself
- 9:31Speaker 1: can make all the difference in another person's life. So
- 9:35Speaker 1: remember on your way to the top, the more people
- 9:39Speaker 1: that you help become successful, the more successful you become.
- 9:44Speaker 1: It's a requirement of God that you do that. That
- 9:47Speaker 1: ain't Steve Harvey talking. If you read your Bible. Somebody
- 9:50Speaker 1: got a Bible verse to back me up? Email it
- 9:52Speaker 1: to me today if you know what it is. I
- 9:54Speaker 1: don't know, but y'all do out there all right, you're listening.

- 11:50Speaker 1: they got this segment on Jimmy Fallon where they have
- 11:53Speaker 1: this guy dressed in a diaper and they had like
- 11:55Speaker 1: baby New Year. He dances every time Biden sends out
- 11:58Speaker 1: a normal tweet, he's called the normal. But he's been
- 12:03Speaker 1: on a jam. Yeah, I love it. Yeah, some good
- 12:12Speaker 1: things came out of it. Yeah, Bernie Sanders T shirts
- 12:16Speaker 1: doing well, sweat shirts for meals for meals and wheels. Yes,

- 12:50Speaker 1: I'm about I'm with you on that me too. Well,
- 12:53Speaker 1: what do you think I said being It's not like
- 12:56Speaker 1: you said being healthy, but you say eating same thing.
- 12:59Speaker 1: But you say, okay, eating a healthy healthy working out?
- 13:04Speaker 1: What'd you think I said? If you not to understand
- 13:10Speaker 1: what I said? Yeah, anytime you tell black people I'm
- 13:13Speaker 1: fend to eat healthy, somebody in the room get tight.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Yeah here you mean eat hell? Yeah, I knows. Now. Oh,
- 13:27Speaker 1: you're too good. You've been listen, guys coming up in
- 13:37Speaker 1: thirty two minutes after the hour. Get ready for Ask
- 13:39Speaker 1: the CLO. The Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the
- 13:42Speaker 1: building right after this. You're listening to show all right.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Time now for Ask the CLO. This one is from
- 13:52Speaker 1: Cameron and Lafayette, Louisiana. You're ready, CLO close, stay ready, Okay,
- 13:58Speaker 1: here we go. Cameron says, I've been single for the
- 14:01Speaker 1: past six years and I can't seem to find anyone
- 14:04Speaker 1: that's successful and focused on the future like I am.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I'm an optometrist, and I would love to meet a
- 14:10Speaker 1: professional man that loves his mother. And the lord has
- 14:14Speaker 1: his own everything, it knows how to spoil a woman.
- 14:17Speaker 1: I'm not just seeking a mate in the town I
- 14:19Speaker 1: live in. I am willing to move if my future
- 14:22Speaker 1: man lives elsewhere. I don't date around and I've been
- 14:25Speaker 1: celibate for two years. What should i be doing to
- 14:29Speaker 1: prepare myself for a husband? Great question, Celo, Oh yeah, well,
- 14:37Speaker 1: I think I think you're doing it. I think you're
- 14:40Speaker 1: doing it. It's just that you know, it's this hunt
- 14:46Speaker 1: that you're own that might be throwing you off. I
- 14:51Speaker 1: think more of a focus on the preparation. I think
- 14:53Speaker 1: she has a career, she has her standards of what
- 14:56Speaker 1: she wants. You know, it takes time. Let me ask
- 15:01Speaker 1: this question. It's a great question, but here's what people
- 15:04Speaker 1: don't know. How long did it take you to locate
- 15:08Speaker 1: the person of your dreams? See? How many? How many
- 15:13Speaker 1: frogs did you have to kiss before you got to
- 15:17Speaker 1: your prince? How many bad relationships did I have to
- 15:22Speaker 1: be in to get to a good relationship. Very few
- 15:26Speaker 1: people hit it right off. Oh it happens, But I
- 15:30Speaker 1: don't from my standpoint, I know very few people who
- 15:34Speaker 1: hit it right off. The one it happens. My mom
- 15:38Speaker 1: was one. You know, our parents have found it. But
- 15:41Speaker 1: I think it's I don't know. Sometimes you got to
- 15:44Speaker 1: go through a few so there's no time limit. I
- 15:46Speaker 1: think she's doing all the right things. She sounds like
- 15:49Speaker 1: she had herself together. Just stop the hunt because you know,
- 15:54Speaker 1: you're saying, I've been celibate for two years, right, for
- 16:00Speaker 1: two years? Though? How much damage was you out there doing?
- 16:05Speaker 1: What had you done? Because she's been singing yes, right, well,
- 16:12Speaker 1: but see, but you only been celibate for two so
- 16:14Speaker 1: what to you know? Maybe maybe you just need you know,
- 16:18Speaker 1: a little while to get the airy thing lying back up,
- 16:21Speaker 1: get it, get it back in whacket, get everything out
- 16:26Speaker 1: of whack. Okay, are you moving on right? In? Houston
- 16:34Speaker 1: says my husband and I have been arguing over a
- 16:36Speaker 1: lot of petty little things. We've been married for ten years,
- 16:39Speaker 1: so we're finally getting on each other's nerves. He has
- 16:42Speaker 1: a problem with saying everything he's thinking. Saturday, I ran
- 16:46Speaker 1: to the store and a pair of leggings and a
- 16:49Speaker 1: cropped hoodie. When I got back, he said I shouldn't have.
- 16:54Speaker 1: He said, I shouldn't have ever left the house with
- 16:57Speaker 1: my butt uncovered, because it has gotten a lot wider lately.
- 17:07Speaker 1: He said he was joking, but I wanted to smack him.
- 17:09Speaker 1: How can I get him to stop playing with me
- 17:11Speaker 1: like that? Wow? Uh? Behind? Let me let me introduce
- 17:18Speaker 1: you to this concept of plague at joke telling behind
- 17:23Speaker 1: every playful gesture, every joke. In order for it to
- 17:27Speaker 1: be funny, it has to have ninety percent truth in it.
- 17:32Speaker 1: What he just playing with you? I think? He Oh,
- 17:39Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure after ten years there's a possibility that
- 17:43Speaker 1: it has gotten a little bit wider. The fact that
- 17:46Speaker 1: he wouldn't mention it is the ten years of y'all
- 17:49Speaker 1: on each other nerve, Now, girl, you've been I don't
- 17:53Speaker 1: even know why you took all that out of him
- 17:55Speaker 1: with just that little crop top body on. Dude, you
- 17:59Speaker 1: should have had a house coold on, you know, stuff
- 18:01Speaker 1: like that housecoad. You know, y'all, y'all are tired of
- 18:05Speaker 1: each other. Yeah, quarantine, hyeah, COVID. COVID brought all that out. Yeah. Yeah,
- 18:14Speaker 1: So you're saying COVID and broke up a lot of families. Boy,
- 18:18Speaker 1: you're saying he was serious. You're saous your but it's
- 18:23Speaker 1: gotten a lot wider lately. Well yeah, you know, you're saying,
- 18:26Speaker 1: he playing with you, but but this plan is coming
- 18:29Speaker 1: too often, too frequent, and it's starting to hurt you.
- 18:33Speaker 1: So I think he's just at the point where you
- 18:35Speaker 1: just said, y'all tired of each other, and that's his
- 18:38Speaker 1: Now he tired. He's saying what he wanted to say.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Two can play that game. But then y'all ain't gonna
- 18:43Speaker 1: have nothing, but y'all gotta y'all gotta stop hurting each
- 18:46Speaker 1: other like this. It's gonna be over, Yeah, because you
- 18:48Speaker 1: can't take that stuff back. You know, you really can't
- 18:52Speaker 1: all right now? Yeah, Verna and New Mexico. Steve says,
- 18:55Speaker 1: I'm a fifty six year old married woman and my
- 18:58Speaker 1: husband and I retired recently and moved to New Mexico.
- 19:02Speaker 1: We've made a few new friends in our community, and
- 19:04Speaker 1: my husband is a social butterfly, but I'm fine with
- 19:08Speaker 1: reading books and watching my shows on TV every other evening.
- 19:12Speaker 1: He's made plans to hang out and socialize with our
- 19:15Speaker 1: new friends. He knows I don't care to hang out
- 19:17Speaker 1: a lot, so he stopped asking me to join him.
- 19:20Speaker 1: I still want to be invited and have the right
- 19:23Speaker 1: to refuse. Am I asking for too much? You know
- 19:27Speaker 1: you ain't going, But well, lady, come on now, damn
- 19:31Speaker 1: you don't want to go and eat it. But he
- 19:34Speaker 1: does stop asking you because you don't ever want to go.
- 19:37Speaker 1: So now you're mad because he does stop asking and
- 19:40Speaker 1: you want to refuse him. So you just want to
- 19:42Speaker 1: be able to turn him down. No, yes, you want
- 19:46Speaker 1: to go? No? No? Yeah, there with them down, people, right,
- 19:53Speaker 1: have yourself a good time. I'll be right here mine
- 19:57Speaker 1: in my bed. Yeah, see right, see that right there,
- 20:00Speaker 1: I'm a cur up right there. Don't make no damn sense.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Get your ass to go out and enjoy your enjoy
- 20:08Speaker 1: your life with your man. Yeah, I don't know what
- 20:11Speaker 1: you ask more to New Mexico for Who the hell
- 20:13Speaker 1: do that? Who go to New Mexico? Who goes to
- 20:21Speaker 1: New Mexico? Don't black people don't go to New Mexico
- 20:25Speaker 1: to retire? She didn't say she was black? Verna? What ye?
- 20:35Speaker 1: How many white women you know? Not a one? Not
- 20:40Speaker 1: a one? Girl? Stop all right, Fielo, we gotta go.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Coming up next to nephew would run that frank bag
- 20:50Speaker 1: right after this? Hey, Verna, girl, you're listening. Stry morning
- 20:56Speaker 1: show coming up at the top of the hour. Miss
- 20:59Speaker 1: Ann's standing by with our national news headlines. The House
- 21:03Speaker 1: delivered Trump impeachment articles by the Senate, and we are
- 21:08Speaker 1: trending in entertainment news. Guess what Trey Songs got arrested
- 21:13Speaker 1: at the Kansas City Chiefs game and ooh that was something.
- 21:17Speaker 1: And Spenderella, Oh she's mad about the Salt and Peppa
- 21:21Speaker 1: Lifetime movie biopic. Yeah, we'll talk about all of these
- 21:25Speaker 1: stories at the top of the hour, but right now
- 21:27Speaker 1: the nephew is here with run that prank back? What
- 21:30Speaker 1: you got for uber hers a Uber hers. Yeah, that's
- 21:37Speaker 1: what we do, uber Hers. Let's go Kat now. Hello, Hello,

- 22:49Speaker 1: now listen, I'm I'm I'm an SUV. But it's a
- 22:53Speaker 1: kind of a little different. So that's why I kind
- 22:55Speaker 1: of the reason for the call. I wanted to kind
- 22:56Speaker 1: of give your heads up that I am an SUV.
- 23:00Speaker 1: So I just want you to look for the the

- 23:09Speaker 1: a black hurse tomorrow morning seven ms uh Okay, okay,
- 23:16Speaker 1: it's a suv or Hurts. No, No, it's a Hurts.
- 23:19Speaker 1: It's a hurse. Actually, what's happening is is I have
- 23:22Speaker 1: another drop off at the airport as well. You know,
- 23:26Speaker 1: there's a I mean, it's it's it won't affect you
- 23:28Speaker 1: at all. There'll there'll be a body in the back,
- 23:30Speaker 1: but that has to we're trying to get that to
- 23:32Speaker 1: the airport too. But you know, like I said, and
- 23:35Speaker 1: a matter of fact, is that body waiting the whole man, No,
- 23:41Speaker 1: I ain't not rising my body. Well, there's a I mean,
- 23:44Speaker 1: there'll be a body, but actually it's just causing you less.
- 23:46Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, So you don't have to man, Well,
- 23:49Speaker 1: I'm lawns what you're talking about, man, dude, it'll be
- 23:53Speaker 1: it'll ain't ride the body. Hang on, man, listen, you
- 23:58Speaker 1: wanted to SUV. I'm not ride with the body. Dude.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Now you're tripping, cancel the trip. I'll get another over.
- 24:06Speaker 1: I'm not riding with a body, dude. Okay, if you cancel,
- 24:09Speaker 1: that's gonna cause you fifty dollars. Fifty dollars, man, Yeah,
- 24:13Speaker 1: like you like just downloaded the here's the deal. I
- 24:17Speaker 1: know for a fact when you cancel over just five dollars,
- 24:20Speaker 1: I'm canceling and that's gonna be five hours. Like gonna
- 24:23Speaker 1: no fifty dollars, it's gonna be fifty dollars, sir. It's
- 24:26Speaker 1: a different one. You have my man, you can pay
- 24:28Speaker 1: me a thousand dollars. I'm not riding with the body.
- 24:30Speaker 1: You feel me the understanding. You understand you now, But
- 24:34Speaker 1: do you want to get to the airport or not? Look,
- 24:36Speaker 1: why don't you lay down next to the body and
- 24:38Speaker 1: you drive yourself there with the body like in the
- 24:41Speaker 1: path to just see I'm not doing it. Tell me
- 24:43Speaker 1: what the problem is. I mean, obviously you're used to
- 24:46Speaker 1: driving around with bodies and that's not my thing. You
- 24:48Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. What's the problem? I mean, you're
- 24:51Speaker 1: gonna be in the front of the hurst, You're not
- 24:52Speaker 1: gonna be in the back. We'll put my bodies in
- 24:54Speaker 1: the back, put your luggage in the back. I mean,
- 24:56Speaker 1: that'll be fine, right, you're my man. You're tripping. Man,
- 24:59Speaker 1: this is a crazy you're calling wrong with this crazy book, Dude,
- 25:03Speaker 1: I'm not doing none of that. What part of that?
- 25:06Speaker 1: Don't you understand? I'm going to get you there on time, sir,
- 25:09Speaker 1: But it's going to be in a hurse. That's all
- 25:12Speaker 1: the difference is. Man, You'll be riding when I'm supposed
- 25:15Speaker 1: to be laid out in it. You understand right now?
- 25:18Speaker 1: You got me fucked up? What kind of phone call
- 25:21Speaker 1: is this? Well? I mean, what's what's the problem. Obviously
- 25:24Speaker 1: you're used to rolling with with dead bodies and hearses
- 25:26Speaker 1: and all that sin. When it over, start rolling with
- 25:30Speaker 1: hearses to pick up regular lot more, because to get
- 25:34Speaker 1: them from place to place. This is some crazy. I
- 25:37Speaker 1: want you to think, when when did you think that
- 25:41Speaker 1: it would just be cool or as a regular picking
- 25:44Speaker 1: up a body and just driving around in the street.
- 25:46Speaker 1: I don't know, man, I mean, you know, I got
- 25:48Speaker 1: two jobs. You know what I'm saying. I do for
- 25:51Speaker 1: you know, and also you know, work for a mortuary
- 25:54Speaker 1: to you know what I'm saying. So you know, but
- 25:55Speaker 1: my vehicle is is certified and proved so I'm able
- 26:01Speaker 1: to use it as an SUV. So you you calling
- 26:03Speaker 1: him is and you gave him ride a lot more
- 26:07Speaker 1: and they don't have no reaction, no reaction to riding
- 26:11Speaker 1: around with them embody in the back. Well, you know,
- 26:15Speaker 1: sometimes there's a few people acting a little, you know,
- 26:17Speaker 1: a little. It's a little different for him. I get it,
- 26:19Speaker 1: you know. But like I said, the only reason why
- 26:22Speaker 1: I'm calling you obviously you don't get that because you're
- 26:25Speaker 1: trying to hit me with a fifty dollars in charge
- 26:28Speaker 1: that I'm not I'm not going for and you're trying
- 26:31Speaker 1: to get me to ride with him in that body. Dude,
- 26:34Speaker 1: I'm not doing that. So I'll tell you what, brou
- 26:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you this right here. I'm gonna get
- 26:37Speaker 1: all the phone tomorrow and seven in the morning, me
- 26:40Speaker 1: and Tommy gonna be there, So be looking forwards here.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Who's Timmy the body? No? No, me and Tommy gonna
- 26:47Speaker 1: be there tomorrow morning at seven. Mayhem. You know what
- 26:49Speaker 1: I'm saying. Just be ready for that. Then you're Timmy
- 26:51Speaker 1: gonna have a problem. Okay, okay, all right, tell that
- 26:55Speaker 1: to Tommy though, because see Tommy, don't Tommy don't take
- 26:57Speaker 1: this too kindly, So tell it to him in the morning.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Who's Timmy? But now, okay, you don't know who Tommy is? No,
- 27:05Speaker 1: I don't what it's Tommy? Okay, do you know Tommy
- 27:08Speaker 1: from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Do you know nephew Tommy?
- 27:13Speaker 1: Oh come on, man, hey, oh man, oh man, that's hey,
- 27:28Speaker 1: hey man, come in and no, man, your boy. You
- 27:32Speaker 1: got a boy named Chase that you worked with. Chase
- 27:34Speaker 1: gave me your number, told me to get your call.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Oh man. Yeah, I'm gonna put that one in a hearset. Man.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Oh hey man, you gotta give me one more thing. Man,
- 27:50Speaker 1: What is the baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio
- 27:52Speaker 1: show in the land, Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey man,
- 27:57Speaker 1: I pick you up a set my right beat there?
- 28:00Speaker 1: All right, I think I'm onto something. I think there'll
- 28:06Speaker 1: be a great business right there. You don't think so,
- 28:10Speaker 1: you know, he was not having no dead body man,
- 28:15Speaker 1: a cost service and a hearse at the same time.
- 28:18Speaker 1: That's making double money, right then, you know what I'm saying.
- 28:21Speaker 1: That's I like that. He was mad. Yeah, I just
- 28:29Speaker 1: wanted you to know when you come down here, which
- 28:30Speaker 1: what car to be looking for? Okay, like too much.
- 28:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna get you where you got to go, and
- 28:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna get this body where the body need to go.
- 28:39Speaker 1: We're working together on this. Let's happen. Let's row. I
- 28:46Speaker 1: told you, man, he's not laying down. The next of
- 28:48Speaker 1: no dead body no coming up at the top of
- 28:58Speaker 1: the hour. Entertainment and National News was right after this.
- 29:01Speaker 1: You're listening to show in today's entertainment news. Trace Songs.
- 29:09Speaker 1: I'm sure you guys have heard about this. Tray Songs
- 29:11Speaker 1: got arrested at Sunday's Kansas City versus Buffalo's AFC Championship
- 29:17Speaker 1: Gang game. Trey Songs was being heckled by some fans
- 29:22Speaker 1: a few rows back. We don't know why they were
- 29:25Speaker 1: heckling him. He asked them to be quiet, and then
- 29:28Speaker 1: that's when a police officer came over and physically tried
- 29:32Speaker 1: to remove Trey Songs. KCPD said that Trey Songs was
- 29:36Speaker 1: arrested for refusing to wear a mask and violating the
- 29:40Speaker 1: Arrowhead Stadium's COVID nineteen protocols. Security was unsuccessful to try
- 29:45Speaker 1: and get Trey Songs to wear his mask, so they
- 29:48Speaker 1: called for backup police. Backup cops say Tray Song still
- 29:52Speaker 1: refused to comply, and witnesses say that things got really
- 29:57Speaker 1: aggressive at that point. Some say Trey pun the cop
- 30:00Speaker 1: and put him in a headlock. Of yeah. Other witnesses
- 30:04Speaker 1: say the officer was way out of line and Trade
- 30:07Speaker 1: was fighting back in self defense. Trade Songs was arrested
- 30:11Speaker 1: and charged with trespassing, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Trade Songs has been released and the case has been
- 30:20Speaker 1: referred to the Jackson County Prosecution Office. Are you kidding me?
- 30:26Speaker 1: Why is he not in a suite? What are you
- 30:28Speaker 1: doing in general population? What glass are you down there
- 30:32Speaker 1: at the game? Doesn't make sense to me? What is
- 30:36Speaker 1: you down on the twenty yard line? Come home? But
- 30:42Speaker 1: you know, man, I'm gonna say this. You know, Trade
- 30:44Speaker 1: Songs doesn't strike me as it's probably a second incident.
- 30:49Speaker 1: We've heard about stuff like that. But he doesn't strike
- 30:53Speaker 1: me as a I just don't understand how. I really
- 30:57Speaker 1: would like to know how to escalated to this point.
- 31:00Speaker 1: If it was you, if you were out of game
- 31:01Speaker 1: and somebody was heckling you, that's it. Buying is all
- 31:05Speaker 1: game long. Heckling sports arenas is far heckling you shop,
- 31:12Speaker 1: throw the ball? What are you doing? Your brom play
- 31:16Speaker 1: some je Ferris, get a new quarterback. That's commonplace. I
- 31:20Speaker 1: know that whatever they were saying the trays on Trayson
- 31:22Speaker 1: can't turn asked about be quiet. We came here, we
- 31:28Speaker 1: came here to halling. Yeah, we came here. Had COVID. Yeah,
- 31:35Speaker 1: that's right. He sure did get it again to happen,
- 31:40Speaker 1: but I had to get it again. Well, one thing
- 31:45Speaker 1: about it. If I find out your ass had COVID,
- 31:48Speaker 1: you got to not breathe on me though. And once
- 31:53Speaker 1: I find out you had it. Yeah, if I find
- 31:57Speaker 1: out you had COVID, your ass nice to back up
- 32:00Speaker 1: off me and try posted a picture of him with
- 32:04Speaker 1: the security guard at the game with his mask on,
- 32:08Speaker 1: So it's like, what is going on with this story? Yeah?
- 32:12Speaker 1: We yeah, we gotta find out what's Yeah, it just
- 32:16Speaker 1: it just sounds a bit much, man, But he don't
- 32:18Speaker 1: strike me as a guy that would do something like
- 32:22Speaker 1: that at a at a football game and I don't
- 32:26Speaker 1: know what it is and it was a lot of cops. Steve, Yeah, Okay,
- 32:31Speaker 1: we're gonna move on. And other and other entertainment news
- 32:36Speaker 1: and DJ Spinderella is fuming over how she was portrayed
- 32:40Speaker 1: in Lifetime Salt and Pepper Biopicum, the group's former DJ,
- 32:45Speaker 1: tweeted out her displeasure on Friday, saying, sorry, but I
- 32:48Speaker 1: got to speak on this Life's Time special. Too often
- 32:51Speaker 1: black women who have made meaningful, controversial contributions in their
- 32:55Speaker 1: industry are left out of historical narratives. Wow, she said,
- 33:00Speaker 1: She's going to write her own story and Steve, now
- 33:02Speaker 1: it's time for today, ladies and gentlemen, Miss Ann trip Oh,
- 33:07Speaker 1: thank you very much, everybody, in good morning. The US
- 33:09Speaker 1: House officially transmitted an article of impeachment to the Senate
- 33:14Speaker 1: last evening, now triggering preparations forehand historic trial. The House
- 33:17Speaker 1: transmitted its first impeachment measure against Donald Trump. You may
- 33:20Speaker 1: remember a little over a year ago. This time it's
- 33:23Speaker 1: for foreign President Trump's alleged roland inciting the Capitol Hill
- 33:26Speaker 1: riot January sixth, and the Senators who will act as jurors,
- 33:30Speaker 1: and the impeachment trial are to be sworn in later
- 33:31Speaker 1: on today. The trial to begin February ninth. President Biden
- 33:35Speaker 1: signed several executive orders yesterday. Now. One of them is
- 33:38Speaker 1: designed to encourage the government to buy American, which was
- 33:41Speaker 1: one of Biden's campaign pledges. This new order directs agencies
- 33:45Speaker 1: to kind of gin up the requirements related to purchasing
- 33:48Speaker 1: various goods and services from American businesses, and it also
- 33:51Speaker 1: creates a new White House position to be responsible for
- 33:54Speaker 1: making sure that all these directives are adhered to. That's
- 33:57Speaker 1: because the Trump administration also issued some American rules too,
- 34:01Speaker 1: but some companies complain that they weren't strictly enforced, so
- 34:04Speaker 1: the Biden administration wants to make sure that they're enforced
- 34:07Speaker 1: by the way. President Biden says that in about three weeks,
- 34:10Speaker 1: the US is going to be able to provide a
- 34:11Speaker 1: million or more coronavirus shots every single day, although he
- 34:15Speaker 1: feels things will nevertheless get worse before they get better,
- 34:18Speaker 1: and the President says his focus is not just on
- 34:20Speaker 1: the nation's health, but also on our businesses and especially
- 34:23Speaker 1: our schools. I believe we should make school classrooms, safe
- 34:29Speaker 1: and secure for the students, for the teachers, and the
- 34:34Speaker 1: help that's in those schools maintaining the facilities. Right now.
- 34:37Speaker 1: On top of the UK form of the coronavirus, there's
- 34:41Speaker 1: another variant out there of COVID nineteen out of South
- 34:43Speaker 1: Africa and another one out of Brazil. The Justice Department's
- 34:47Speaker 1: internal watchdog has initiated an investigation into whether any officials
- 34:52Speaker 1: in the dj tried to overturn the twenty twenty election.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Inspector General for the Department of Justice, Michael Harvitz, says
- 34:59Speaker 1: that his office is looking into whether any current or
- 35:02Speaker 1: former Justice Department officials quote engaged in improper attempts to
- 35:06Speaker 1: have the Department change the results of the presidential election.
- 35:09Speaker 1: According to The New York Times, former acting Assistant Attorney
- 35:12Speaker 1: General Jeffrey Clark discussed with then President Trump a plan
- 35:15Speaker 1: to fire the acting ag and then challenge the outcome
- 35:18Speaker 1: of the balloting on alleged baseless claims of fraud. The article, though,
- 35:22Speaker 1: says that Trump did not move forward with that plan. Finally,
- 35:26Speaker 1: a move that is going to play apparently forward, apparently
- 35:28Speaker 1: the move to replace the image of Andrew Jackson on
- 35:30Speaker 1: the twenty dollar bill with Harriet Tubman's likeness. The Obama
- 35:33Speaker 1: administration announced the desired change in twenty sixteen. Three years later,
- 35:36Speaker 1: the Trump administration says, well, it can't take place to
- 35:39Speaker 1: at least twenty twenty eight because of technical stuff. Well,
- 35:41Speaker 1: the White House Press Secretary Jen Sachi says the Biden
- 35:44Speaker 1: administration is working on the Treasury Department is taking steps
- 35:47Speaker 1: to resume efforts to put Harriet Tubman on the front
- 35:49Speaker 1: of the new twenty dollars. Notes it's important that our
- 35:53Speaker 1: money reflect the history and diversity of our country, and
- 35:57Speaker 1: they will now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:00Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show in trending.
- 36:04Speaker 1: Super Bowl news viewers tuning in for the commercials won't
- 36:07Speaker 1: be seeing any Clydesdale horses this year because Budweiser has
- 36:12Speaker 1: announced that it will not advertise during the Big Game
- 36:15Speaker 1: on February seventh, And they're not the only big company
- 36:18Speaker 1: taking a pass. Steve Budweiser will skip the game for
- 36:21Speaker 1: the first time in thirty seven years, citing financial uncertainty
- 36:26Speaker 1: due to COVID nineteen. Instead, the company plans to spend
- 36:31Speaker 1: the money throughout the year on an ad Council campaign
- 36:35Speaker 1: to raise awareness about COVID nineteen about the vaccine specifically.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Bud Light, however, will run and add during the game.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Other usual advertisers like Coke, Pepsi, and Hyundai also announced
- 36:48Speaker 1: they're going to be taking the year off, although Pepsi
- 36:51Speaker 1: is sponsoring the Super Bowl halftime show with the weekend.
- 36:55Speaker 1: Super Bowl is set for February seventh in Tampa Bay,
- 36:59Speaker 1: Tampa Bay, Buck and Ears versus the world champion Kansas
- 37:02Speaker 1: City Chiefs. No word whether Trey Songs will be at
- 37:06Speaker 1: the Super Bowler. No, no, he probably He probably not
- 37:12Speaker 1: gonna be singing this year. Uh uh. If he do
- 37:17Speaker 1: sing this year, the Super Bowler to be a Blues number. No, no,
- 37:23Speaker 1: But what back to the commercial, Zoe, Yeah commercial. Yeah,
- 37:26Speaker 1: it's gonna be different this year. Yeah. Well the commercials
- 37:30Speaker 1: are so expensive too, they're really high. But they're a
- 37:33Speaker 1: big part of you know when you watch them. Yeah. Yeah,
- 37:41Speaker 1: Just it's Geico gonna be there, that's all. But I
- 37:43Speaker 1: tell you one thing, I don't believe that bud Wiser
- 37:49Speaker 1: is not doing a commercial because they're gonna put the
- 37:51Speaker 1: money towards COVID. A wadness. Who the hell ain't aware
- 37:55Speaker 1: of COVID by now vaccination vaccine getting information out on that. PEPSI,
- 38:03Speaker 1: like I said, is sponsoring the halftime show with the Weekend,
- 38:07Speaker 1: so that's something. Okay. Hey, let me ask you all
- 38:11Speaker 1: a question. Does the Weekend have enough hits? So really,
- 38:16Speaker 1: why is it going to work? Yeah? For sure, Steve
- 38:22Speaker 1: is a lot of especially pop hits. Okay, but is
- 38:25Speaker 1: he a great live performer? You know, honestly, I've never
- 38:29Speaker 1: seen him live, only an award shows. He's a huge
- 38:32Speaker 1: fan base though, huge following Steve, But what do he
- 38:35Speaker 1: do during the week? Come on, Diann Warwick, all right,
- 38:42Speaker 1: coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour, we'll
- 38:45Speaker 1: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 38:48Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Show. Today marks the one
- 38:53Speaker 1: year anniversary of the passing of Los Angeles Lakers legend
- 38:57Speaker 1: Kobe Bryant and his daughter ge Kobe's widow, Vanessa, posted
- 39:02Speaker 1: a message to people who are dealing with grief. She says,
- 39:05Speaker 1: grief is a messed up cluster of emotions. One day
- 39:09Speaker 1: you're in the moment of laughing, and the next day
- 39:11Speaker 1: you don't feel like being alive. Vanessa Bryant went on
- 39:15Speaker 1: to say, find your reason to live. I know it's hard.
- 39:19Speaker 1: I look at my daughters and I try to push
- 39:21Speaker 1: through that feeling for them. Wow. Wow, Lord, a whole
- 39:26Speaker 1: year boy, time flies, you know? And you know that thing,
- 39:33Speaker 1: that thing she's talking about, grief. Yes, sir, you can
- 39:37Speaker 1: give people all the advice you want. It's an individual thing.
- 39:42Speaker 1: It affects everybody the different and it affects everybody the
- 39:46Speaker 1: same because the hurt is real. You can't you can't
- 39:52Speaker 1: tell a person what just don't think about it. What
- 39:55Speaker 1: have you ever heard somebody tell you that? Somebody told
- 39:57Speaker 1: me that one time. Some man, my mama. Man, don't
- 39:59Speaker 1: think about it? Hold on, man, you don't think about it? Yeah,
- 40:04Speaker 1: I knew. I knew this woman for forty years. When
- 40:07Speaker 1: you don't think about it, when I don't think about
- 40:12Speaker 1: my mom, I'm here because of her. When when do
- 40:18Speaker 1: you forget that? You know? And so people not knowing.
- 40:22Speaker 1: I think what she's saying is right and trying to
- 40:25Speaker 1: help people get through it. But it's tough. It's really tough. Yeah.
- 40:29Speaker 1: And and how giving of her and generous of her,
- 40:31Speaker 1: she's going through her own grief and she's reaching out
- 40:34Speaker 1: to help others. Um. There's also been reports that the
- 40:37Speaker 1: Bryan family has reportedly m asked the NBA teams and
- 40:41Speaker 1: the league not to hold tributes today. And it's good
- 40:45Speaker 1: to know that people respect their wishes. So yes, I'm
- 40:50Speaker 1: sure that has to be painful for her to turn
- 40:53Speaker 1: on the TV and to see that ye over and
- 40:58Speaker 1: over and you can't she can't, you can't heal h
- 41:03Speaker 1: no so famous. Yeah, and her daughter because you know,
- 41:06Speaker 1: like she said, she say, one day you laughing and
- 41:09Speaker 1: then the next day you don't feel like living well
- 41:11Speaker 1: on the days you're laughing, what you don't want it's
- 41:15Speaker 1: for somebody to bring it up. Yeah, you see it
- 41:19Speaker 1: and you see it over and over. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 41:23Speaker 1: just praying for her Vanessa. Yep. You have to take
- 41:28Speaker 1: as long as you have to take to to grieve.
- 41:30Speaker 1: You know, no one can give you a time limit. Yeah,
- 41:35Speaker 1: it's individual, Like you said, it doesn't it doesn't stop.
- 41:38Speaker 1: It just something you're able to tolerate it, Yeah, say
- 41:41Speaker 1: you live with it. Yeah right, yeah, but I don't
- 41:44Speaker 1: even know if that if that's it when people say
- 41:47Speaker 1: that now surely now that you know we've all gone
- 41:51Speaker 1: through grief and people say time heals all wounds. I
- 41:55Speaker 1: don't even know if that's the case. It's just or
- 41:58Speaker 1: is it that you're living with it? Yeah, struggled with deal. Yeah,
- 42:02Speaker 1: I think it helps to heal, you know, it lessens
- 42:06Speaker 1: the pain lessons. But that that's my personal experience. But yeah,
- 42:12Speaker 1: the time, you know, But but I am brave different.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Yeah for the time that that that I've had, you know,
- 42:20Speaker 1: like like what I had with my father, I was
- 42:22Speaker 1: glad the amount of time yeah yeah, yeah, taught you
- 42:26Speaker 1: to be the man you are today. Absolutely. Yeah. And
- 42:33Speaker 1: in turn, you're a great dad to your kids too.
- 42:36Speaker 1: I always say that about you, Tommy. He has a
- 42:39Speaker 1: great father to Junior, is present in his nephews, like
- 42:44Speaker 1: he's a good he's a great uncle. Man. His daddy
- 42:47Speaker 1: told him I'm talking about he don't want to ever
- 42:49Speaker 1: see him again. I said, man, he got an uncle
- 42:50Speaker 1: left the world. Yeah, you got to worry about it. Yeah, yeah, man,
- 43:00Speaker 1: Well yeah, I know. Yeah, I mean, you know, what
- 43:04Speaker 1: are you gonna do? What are you gonna do? But um,
- 43:08Speaker 1: we have a new president that gives us hope for
- 43:12Speaker 1: change in the world, you know, as we move on,
- 43:15Speaker 1: because life does go on you know. Yeah, and that's
- 43:20Speaker 1: what Vanessa Brian about. Find a reason, find something to live,
- 43:24Speaker 1: hope to live, to get up for every day, every day.
- 43:27Speaker 1: You gotta have that hope. Once you stop hoping, you
- 43:31Speaker 1: gotta have hope, you do, you know? Yeah, mix that
- 43:35Speaker 1: with yeah all right. Coming up next, we're switching gears.
- 43:39Speaker 1: The nephew is here with today's praying phone call. Right
- 43:43Speaker 1: after this you're listening to. Coming up at the top
- 43:49Speaker 1: of the hour, right about four minutes after, it's my
- 43:51Speaker 1: Strawberry letter for today, the subject hot and ready for
- 43:56Speaker 1: my younger man. We'll get into that. Yeah, we're gonna
- 44:00Speaker 1: to that. That's not what you think right now, though.
- 44:03Speaker 1: The nephew is here with today's praying phone call. What
- 44:06Speaker 1: you got for us? Nast early, Your title cain't top

- 44:35Speaker 1: person that lives in um in nineteen eight? Yeah? Yeah,
- 44:38Speaker 1: nineteen eight Gary, what's up? Um? I'm trying to find
- 44:41Speaker 1: the lady that lives in in nineteen eight? Am I
- 44:46Speaker 1: calling the right place? You're talking about Bree Breath? That's yeah,
- 44:50Speaker 1: that's it. Bree is Bree available? Uh? Nah? Man, she
- 44:56Speaker 1: she's probably at work. Oh okay, all right, well listen,
- 45:00Speaker 1: I'm I'm I live in Um. I live on the
- 45:03Speaker 1: eighteenth floor. I men, some of the guys on the
- 45:04Speaker 1: eighteenth floor are throwing throwing a party on the rooftop
- 45:09Speaker 1: and we were gonna we were inviting a few people.
- 45:11Speaker 1: So I was trying to see yeah, yeah, yeah, so
- 45:14Speaker 1: we was gonna invite Bree. I've never seen you before.
- 45:17Speaker 1: I didn't know you. So you live in the building too,
- 45:19Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, man, I live in the nineteen eighth
- 45:21Speaker 1: was there? Yeah that's my girl. What's right? Wait? Where's
- 45:23Speaker 1: the party? Uh? Okay the parties Friday night? All right,
- 45:27Speaker 1: the parties Friday night. So yeah, Well, like I said,
- 45:29Speaker 1: we was we were reaching out and um, you know,
- 45:31Speaker 1: we wanted to invite I've never like I've seen Bree
- 45:34Speaker 1: coming in out of the building and um and uh
- 45:36Speaker 1: you know, the doorman told me that he thinks she
- 45:38Speaker 1: lives on the nineteenth floor somewhere. So so yeah, I
- 45:41Speaker 1: was trying to um, um coming here one year on
- 45:46Speaker 1: the eighteenth floor. Yeah, I'm on eighteen four. Yeah, I'm
- 45:51Speaker 1: at eighteen y. So the parties, um, you know, is
- 45:54Speaker 1: on Friday night, like about ten o'clock, ten to ten
- 45:56Speaker 1: to one. We're inviting a few people out. So but
- 46:00Speaker 1: but um, like I said, you know, I didn't I
- 46:02Speaker 1: didn't know you lived with Brede. But this is a
- 46:05Speaker 1: this is a cool thing, man. But so we're having
- 46:07Speaker 1: a um we're having a panty party on Friday night.
- 46:10Speaker 1: What a panty party? Yeah, yeah, on on the rooftop.
- 46:14Speaker 1: We're having a panty party. And we got food and
- 46:16Speaker 1: drinks and all that kind of stuff. So I was
- 46:18Speaker 1: wanting to see if she wanted to come out. So
- 46:21Speaker 1: so that that's what you do, market, that's what you'll
- 46:23Speaker 1: do on the eighteen four. Y'all just hit up folks
- 46:25Speaker 1: and try to get dude girls come to a panty party.
- 46:29Speaker 1: A panty party. We have a party once once every
- 46:32Speaker 1: you know, once every once a quarter. We throw a party.
- 46:35Speaker 1: So you know, keep up this bullshit. Brother to me,
- 46:38Speaker 1: the last party you throwing doesn't matter what you calling
- 46:41Speaker 1: me after the language, the language, bro, Hold on, Hold on,
- 46:46Speaker 1: First of all, I didn't know Breathe lived with someone
- 46:49Speaker 1: in nineteen. Hey, I've never seen anybody other than Breathe. Okay, yeah,
- 46:53Speaker 1: because I worked my ass off. Dog, who are you market? So?
- 46:58Speaker 1: So okay, I'm Marcus. But let's just calm down. Like
- 47:01Speaker 1: I said, I'm trying to do is invite Breed to, um,
- 47:05Speaker 1: you know, to a party. Now, Bree ain't coming to
- 47:07Speaker 1: the penny party? Boy, what's the matter with you? Okay,
- 47:12Speaker 1: So let's let let me ask you this, sir. I
- 47:15Speaker 1: called for Breath. I don't know, yeah, and you got Gary.
- 47:19Speaker 1: If I don't know, I don't know nothing about Garry. Okay,
- 47:23Speaker 1: So Breed will have to let me know that that
- 47:25Speaker 1: she doesn't want to come to the party. But um,
- 47:28Speaker 1: I don't since I thought I had to write a
- 47:30Speaker 1: number for Breath. What I'll do is find out how
- 47:33Speaker 1: to get in touch with Breath directly, because once again
- 47:36Speaker 1: I didn't know I was getting in contact with a Gary.
- 47:38Speaker 1: I thought I was get in touch with Breath. Yeah. Yeah,
- 47:40Speaker 1: you never be worth much to Breed man. When I
- 47:42Speaker 1: cut that golf, you to call me that's my girl.
- 47:45Speaker 1: That's my girl. Okay, so it's your girl, all right.
- 47:48Speaker 1: But like I said, I didn't know she had a
- 47:50Speaker 1: boyfriend anything, But that doesn't stop me from asking brief
- 47:53Speaker 1: if she wants to come to the party. Yeah, well
- 47:56Speaker 1: she ain't single. She's not single. The only the only
- 47:58Speaker 1: thing single at night is that single barrel. That's the
- 48:01Speaker 1: only thing that single up in nineteen eight. Okay, so
- 48:04Speaker 1: let me ask you this man, how long have you
- 48:06Speaker 1: breathe been together? Don't worry about what the guy in
- 48:08Speaker 1: with my girl? Who the are you? Hey? I think
- 48:12Speaker 1: I think Bree can make her own decision or she
- 48:14Speaker 1: want to come to the party. I just called her directly.
- 48:17Speaker 1: I just got the wrong number mixed up, That's all
- 48:19Speaker 1: it is. No, you got the right number, Marcus, you
- 48:22Speaker 1: got the You got the right number and the wrong mother. So,
- 48:26Speaker 1: like you're trying to say, Brie can't make up her
- 48:28Speaker 1: mind on she want to come to the party or not?
- 48:30Speaker 1: Can make up? She can make up her mind if
- 48:32Speaker 1: she wants to. I think she has made it up, Marcus.
- 48:34Speaker 1: I think she has. Well, how do you know that?
- 48:37Speaker 1: I haven't even asked her to come to the panting party? Hello,
- 48:40Speaker 1: what do you want? Marcus? What do you really want?
- 48:43Speaker 1: I won't breathe at the panting party. That's why you won't.
- 48:48Speaker 1: You can't have at no pandy party. That's mine. Listen, mother,
- 48:53Speaker 1: I'm at work right now. Don't come in here with
- 48:56Speaker 1: this both. I've been in that building for years. I've
- 48:58Speaker 1: never heard no handy party before. Are you gonna ask
- 49:02Speaker 1: her to come to the panty party? Or do I
- 49:03Speaker 1: need to ask that penny party? And you marcus my
- 49:08Speaker 1: girl and coming to no damn penny party? All right,
- 49:11Speaker 1: all right, I see what I gotta do now. I
- 49:13Speaker 1: gotta go to the doorman and get Brihanna's get breeze number,
- 49:17Speaker 1: and I ask her to come because you're not gonna
- 49:18Speaker 1: pass on the message that I want her to ask.
- 49:21Speaker 1: Let me, let me tell you something. You better not
- 49:23Speaker 1: come into doorman. You better not come to nineteen eight.
- 49:25Speaker 1: That's my girl. Stay the away from her, Okay, okay, okay,
- 49:30Speaker 1: all right? Cool. So, I mean, I don't know what
- 49:33Speaker 1: else to say. Parties in a few days, and I'm
- 49:36Speaker 1: not gonna I'm not gonna let up until I at
- 49:38Speaker 1: least give Brie and I'm an invitation to come out
- 49:40Speaker 1: to the panty party. Give invitation Brian coming up. The
- 49:44Speaker 1: only mother you can see there is me. So let
- 49:46Speaker 1: me ask you this, are you as saying the breeze panties?
- 49:49Speaker 1: Do you not want her? You do not want us
- 49:51Speaker 1: to see her in the in the in her panties.
- 49:53Speaker 1: I mean what. We don't worry about me or my
- 49:57Speaker 1: girl or her pennies. You got me, You got me? Okay?
- 50:01Speaker 1: All right? Man, I'm not if I wasn't that work

- 53:28Speaker 1: Buck it up and hold on tight. We got it
- 53:29Speaker 1: for you. Here. It is Strawberry letter, all right. It
- 53:32Speaker 1: says hot and bretty for my younger man. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 53:37Speaker 1: I'm a sixty seven year old woman married to a
- 53:41Speaker 1: very handsome gentleman that is thirteen years younger than me.
- 53:46Speaker 1: We've been married for four years, but we've been we've
- 53:49Speaker 1: known each other for six years. When we first met,
- 53:52Speaker 1: he waited a while to have sex with me, and
- 53:55Speaker 1: it finally happened when we were away on vacation. I
- 53:58Speaker 1: have always been the aggressive in the bedroom, and he
- 54:01Speaker 1: would just let me take advantage of him in all
- 54:03Speaker 1: kinds of freaky ways. Two years ago, I decided to
- 54:07Speaker 1: switch things up because I got tired of always initiating
- 54:10Speaker 1: sex and doing the most work in the bedroom. I
- 54:13Speaker 1: also got tired of suggesting different places for us to
- 54:17Speaker 1: have sex throughout the house. Well, when I pulled back,
- 54:20Speaker 1: he did not step up, and we've gone for weeks
- 54:22Speaker 1: at a time without having sex. When we do have it,
- 54:27Speaker 1: it's a quickie and then he goes straight to sleep.
- 54:30Speaker 1: I have asked him if he's okay or if his
- 54:32Speaker 1: sex drive was decreased because of his age, and he
- 54:35Speaker 1: says he's fine. Since the quarantine is over. He works
- 54:40Speaker 1: long hours and when he comes home he's too tired
- 54:43Speaker 1: to do anything. He goes to bed around ten pm
- 54:46Speaker 1: most nights, so I feel bad about waking him up
- 54:49Speaker 1: for sex. I planned a nice vacation for us, and
- 54:52Speaker 1: we had our own cabana on the water. I thought
- 54:55Speaker 1: it would be a perfect romantic setting, but all he
- 54:58Speaker 1: did was drink Pina colot till he passed out. Nightly.
- 55:02Speaker 1: It says till he passed nightly in the copy in
- 55:06Speaker 1: the letter, but I'm sure she meant passed outrightly. I'm
- 55:11Speaker 1: hot and ready for him all the time, but he's
- 55:13Speaker 1: never in the mood. I confided in my male cousin
- 55:16Speaker 1: and asked for his advice. He told me to stop
- 55:19Speaker 1: taking the lead in the home and with finances and
- 55:22Speaker 1: let my husband step up and be a man. I
- 55:25Speaker 1: have a very dominant personality. I'm a very dominant person,
- 55:29Speaker 1: but I never intended to emasculate my man. Is this
- 55:33Speaker 1: all my fault? Well, this letter kind of took a
- 55:36Speaker 1: turn hard left at the end when with you asking
- 55:40Speaker 1: about emasculating your man and everything. I don't know about
- 55:44Speaker 1: all of that, and I didn't even know that you
- 55:46Speaker 1: were financing everything. You didn't mention that till the very end.
- 55:50Speaker 1: But I do think your cousin is right, your male cousin,
- 55:53Speaker 1: I think you're doing way too much. You definitely need
- 55:56Speaker 1: to let your husband step up and be a man,
- 55:58Speaker 1: and if he doesn't, you should stop trying to make
- 56:02Speaker 1: him and realize what's going on here, because honestly, honestly,
- 56:08Speaker 1: and I hate to say this, I really do but
- 56:10Speaker 1: he doesn't sound like he's interested in you. He doesn't
- 56:12Speaker 1: sound like he wants to do it, or that he
- 56:15Speaker 1: cares if you do it, or his interest lies someplace else.
- 56:20Speaker 1: Because he's not interested, you're always the aggressor. Because all
- 56:25Speaker 1: the signs are there. He never initiates sex. You said it,
- 56:29Speaker 1: he's too tired after work. He goes to bed at
- 56:32Speaker 1: ten pm straight to sleep. When you pulled back because
- 56:37Speaker 1: huh nothing, Oh, when he's too tired after work. When
- 56:43Speaker 1: you pulled back because you were tired of always being
- 56:46Speaker 1: the aggressor, he didn't step up. He didn't do anything.
- 56:50Speaker 1: You guys just didn't have sex. And you said to yourself,
- 56:54Speaker 1: he's never in the mood. Never again. The signs are
- 56:59Speaker 1: there there, ma'am. The signs are all there. On vacation,
- 57:02Speaker 1: he gets drunk and passes out every night. And why
- 57:06Speaker 1: are you trying to finance everything? I mean, he's fifty four.
- 57:09Speaker 1: What does he do? Is he working? Does he contribute
- 57:12Speaker 1: to the household or to you in any way? It
- 57:15Speaker 1: just doesn't sound like it, because you didn't say that
- 57:17Speaker 1: in the letter. I think you know, if you're gonna
- 57:20Speaker 1: stay here with this loser, get used to this behavior
- 57:23Speaker 1: because he's not gonna change. I certainly hope you get
- 57:27Speaker 1: wise and see that he's not interested and move on
- 57:31Speaker 1: with your life. You're sixty seven, you still have a
- 57:34Speaker 1: healthy sex life and all of that. You sound energetic.
- 57:37Speaker 1: You can do way better than this guy, Steve. What, Shirley,
- 57:47Speaker 1: We didn't read it two different damn letters, right, we did.
- 57:51Speaker 1: I didn't see none of this that you saw in
- 57:54Speaker 1: this letter. You know. I normally started the top of
- 57:57Speaker 1: the letter. But see you got rolled off in the
- 58:00Speaker 1: letter by her cousin. He threw you off. Course, he
- 58:04Speaker 1: not fit to throw me off. She went to the
- 58:07Speaker 1: cousin to ask for his advice because she's getting under sex.
- 58:13Speaker 1: He told her to stop taking the lead in the
- 58:16Speaker 1: home and with finances and let my husband step up
- 58:20Speaker 1: and be a man. What the question was, I'm being
- 58:26Speaker 1: under sex? What can I do to get him to
- 58:29Speaker 1: take the lead? Your dumb ass cousin talking about finances
- 58:34Speaker 1: and something that take him Let him be a man
- 58:37Speaker 1: at the house. That ain't what's this damn letter about.
- 58:40Speaker 1: Let me tell you what's really wrong in this damn letter.
- 58:44Speaker 1: Your old ass is too damn much. That's what's wrong
- 58:49Speaker 1: with this damn letter right here. He's not interested. Let
- 58:52Speaker 1: me just walk you through, girl, he ain't got a
- 58:55Speaker 1: chance to be interested. Let me walk you through this
- 58:58Speaker 1: letter so you can understand him. Sixty seven year old
- 59:01Speaker 1: woman sixty seven mad to a handsome man thirteen years
- 59:06Speaker 1: younger than her. That mean he fifty four. They've known
- 59:09Speaker 1: each other for six years. That means she met him
- 59:13Speaker 1: when she was sixty one. They've been married for four years. Yeah, man,
- 59:19Speaker 1: when he was fifty, she was sixty one. She was
- 59:24Speaker 1: sixty one. Now she ain't talking about no. We waited
- 59:29Speaker 1: a while to have sex with me. You was sixty one.
- 59:34Speaker 1: What don't you mean waited a while? A while for
- 59:38Speaker 1: her could have been three weeks. She fast, Shirley, I've
- 59:42Speaker 1: been wanting to come back. I'm gonna tell you what's
- 59:43Speaker 1: wrong with her. This woman is two damn much. He's
- 59:46Speaker 1: not interested. All right, we'll have part two of Steve's
- 59:49Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hours,
- 59:52Speaker 1: subject hot and ready for my younger man. We'll get
- 59:55Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening, harty morning,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Subject hot and Ready for my younger man. You and
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: I disagreed completely on this letter. Go ahead completely, and
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: I'll tell you why this letter is title Hot and
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Ready for my younger man. The whole letter, three ninety
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: eight percent of the words in here is pertaining to sex.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: She decided, saying she's getting under sex, to go to
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: her male cousin and confide in him. After all this
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: talk about sex. His advice was, he told her to
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: stop taking the lead in the home and with finances
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: and let my husband step up and be a man.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: What did he even listen to you? So that's why
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: I think your cousin is stupid. Surely this ain't got
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: nothing to do with how much money this man makes.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: She take? Can care the finances? She that ain't what
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: this letter about. When it's sitting the letter, she said,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: stop taking the lead on financing me. She taking the
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: money paying bills and all this. Here the man working,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: and it's saying the letter. He worked all the time,
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: and he come home tied, So it ain't like he
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: ain't working. He got money. All right. Let me let
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: me show you this ship. Six seven year old woman
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: man to this dude thirteen years younger than me. He
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: fifty four. They dated for six years. First he waited
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: a while he has sex with me, and it finally
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: happened we were away on vacation. Then she said, I
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: have always been the aggressor in the bedroom. Okay, right there,
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: since you always the aggressive, you don't know how to
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: sit your old ass down and wait on nothing. You're
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: pushing the button every time you come through the damn house. Okay,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: he didn't get used to that. You started that. He
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: would just letting me take advantage of him in all
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: kinds of freaky waves. Well, let me tell you something.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: You was freaky with him at sixty one. You've been
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: married six years. You ain't the same. I'm just gonna
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: tell you that right now. You ain't the same. The
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: position that was sexy when you was fifty, that position
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: at sixty seven has changed. I'm just telling you what
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: you used to be able to put your foot up
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: on when you was sixty, it's a little different putting
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: your foot up there at sixty seven. So I'm just
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: letting you know, a little miss hot Mama, your ass
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: ain't all that damn hot. You might be aggravating at
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: this point. To tell you the truth, I take advantage
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: him and all kinds of freaky waves. You sixty seven,
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: stop saying freaking what does that have to do with anything,
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: because I'm saying freaky. You're sixty seven, you're too old.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: You telling some damn right. Okay, we'll listen to this
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: my letter now. Surely two years ago we disagree. I
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: decided to twitch things up because I got tired of
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: always initiating sex and doing the most work in the bedroom.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: She and that got hamles and stuff, bringing in all
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: these twols and stuff, got suitcases, luggage, video film in that,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: breaking paper in there, got rope with them all down
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: at ace hardware, buying equipment in you and that with
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: a jungle. You don't put up a junger gym in
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: the damn bedrooms. Tired of your ass two damn much
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: kind of sandbox in there, and bud and no, nobody
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: want all this old freaking ass down, and all people,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: all people freaking different, you know, if they don't know
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: all the new stuff that's down at the sex stores
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: and at the adult store. She all up in the
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: room with bacon, grease and stuff. Don't nobody won't that
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: no more? They have lubricants and stuff that they use
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: down there that's scented with flavors in it. You got
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: all this crisco in the room. Everybody want that on them,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: some damn west at all. So now I got tired
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: of suggesting different places for us to have sex throughout
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: the house. Sixty seven throughout the house. What is you
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: in the basement leaning up against the furnace fault? Bring
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: your ass upstairs where with your seat? It's dogged down
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: here in this damn basement. You're all up in there.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: You're all up in the addict, hanging on to the
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: beams and stuff like you meet me in a sex tape.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: You can't do all that. Put that shower curtain down.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: That is not false. We're not swinging on this shower.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Do anything. Well, then I pulled back. He didn't step up,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: Hell because he scared. He didn't step up, step up.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: He need a break. He's fifty four. You're always hurt
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: of her old ass in here with all these ideas.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Every damn like to oh, okay, well, we can't even
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: take a walk because your ass wants to have sex.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: That go down to the park. Hold up before we go,
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: let me give you a little something. I've asked him
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: if he's okay if his sex drive has increased, Hell,
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: has yours has increased? That's the problem. It ain't that
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: his has decreased. It's just that your ass thinks you
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: way sexy than you really are. See, you're fighting what's
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: really happening to you, and you're trying to overprove that
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: you're still sexy. Now you sixty seven are You're doing
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: two damn much. Clothes don't fit like they used to.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: You're just you're just too much. Now, let's stop all this.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: Sit your he go to bed at ten o'clock, old people,
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: go to bed. Your ass supposed to be sleep somewhere,
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: sixty seven, get your damn rest. I think, all right,
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: she sounds worthsome to me. Che that ain't gone. He
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: just doesn't want her. He's not interested. All right? Listen,

- 1:07:05Speaker 1: If the fan is scanning the dog, then you have
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: the option to take a rapid results test. The game
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: attendants will be kept under two thousand. I just have
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: two questions, how much and how do I get one?
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: This is what I need to know. How much and
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: how do I get one of these dogs of the
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: house get the whole time they give a nasal swam

- 1:08:20Speaker 1: What kind of dogs are they using? I don't even
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: they don't even say no, Junior, not the dog. The
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: game ain't that serious. I'm sorry, I stay at home.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: The game is. Don't you're taking a chance your whole

- 1:15:52Speaker 1: Kobe's widow, Vanessa posted a message to people who are
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: dealing with grief. She says grief is a messed up
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: cluster of emotions. One day you're in the moment of laughing,
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: and the next day you don't feel like being alive.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: Vanessa Brant went on to say, find your reason to live.
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: I know it's hard. I look at my daughters and
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: I try to push through that feeling for them. Wow. Wow,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: a whole year, you know still and you know that thing,
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: that thing she's talking about, grief. Yes, you can give
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: people all the advice you want. It's an individual thing.
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: It affects everybody the different, and it affects everybody the
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: same because the hurt is real. You can't you can't
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: tell the person. We just don't think about it. What
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: have you ever heard somebody tell you that? Somebody told
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: me that one time? Some man, my mama. Man, don't
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: think about it? Hold on, man, what you mean? Don't
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: think about it? Yeah? I knew. I knew this woman
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: for forty years. When you don't think about it, I
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: don't think about my mom. I'm here because of her.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: When when do you forget that? You know? And so
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: people not knowing? I think what she said is right
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: and trying to help people get through it. But it's tough.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: It's really tough. Yeah. And and how giving of her
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: and generous of her. She's going through her own grief
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: and she's reaching out to help others. Um. There's also
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: been reports that the Bryant family has reportedly asked the
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: NBA teams and the league not to hold tributes today.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: And it's good to know that people respect their wishes.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: So yeah, yes, I'm sure that has to be painful
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: for her to turn on the TV and to see that, Yeah,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: over and over, And you can't can't you can't heal
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: so famous? Yeah, and her daughter, because you know, like
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: she said, she say, one day you laughing and then
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: the next day you don't feel like living well on
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: the days you're laughing, what you don't want is for
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: somebody to bring it up. Yeah, see it and you
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: see it over and over. Yeah, yeah, yeah, just praying
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: for her, ye, Vanessa, yep. You have to take as
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: long as you have to take to to grieve. You know,
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: no one can give you a time limit. Yeah. It's individual,
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: like you said, it doesn't it doesn't stop. It's just
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: something you're able to tolerate it. Yeah, say you live
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: with it. Yeah, yeah, it's troubled the deal. Yeah, I
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: think it helps to heal, you know, it lessens the
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: pain lessons. But that that's my personal experience. But yeah,
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: the time, you know, But coming up, it's our last
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: break of the day and we'll have some closing remarks
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: from the one and only Steve Harvey coming up at
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after the hour. Right after this. You're
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: listening all right here we are, guys, our last break
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: of the day, just still basking in the glow of
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: it all x ailing and all of that. You know. Yeah,
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: we've got a normal president. Yeah, yeah, sleep at night
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: in the morning, and yeah, what is food? And did today? Yeah,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: none of that. Stud I'm not as anxious, trying to
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: be patient with COVID and the vaccine roll out, just
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: getting information, you know what. I'm dog Donald Trump, he
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: didn't even have a plan for distributing the vaccine. Biden
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: him inherited all these vaccines, just sitting there without no
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: plan for districting none. Man states he just wanted to
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: disassociate himself from the virus so he wouldn't get blamed
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: for the depths and four hundred thousand Americans have left
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: this world because this fool didn't care. Yes, that's it.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: State you know something. In closing, let me share this
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: with you, Okay, you know, here's a deal. You know, Um,
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: this is twenty twenty one and everybody, you know, I've
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: been listening to a lot of people man rehash twenty
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: twenty and let me just offer you a different way
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: to look at it. I can't tell anybody what to do,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: so let me just tell you what I've done and
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: maybe just offer you a different way to look at it.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: We all know twenty twenty was more than a notion.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: I don't think twenty twenty went and it started off crazy,
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: and it just kept getting crazier as the year went on.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: A lot of blas since happened, a lot of challenges happens,
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: a lot of heartbreak happened, a lot of losses happen,
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: a lot of victories happened. Twenty twenty was a very
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: different year, one of the most different years of my life.
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: And I know it was different because the whole world
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: shared in the same problem. This is the first time
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: I've ever heard everybody talking about the same thing. You know,
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: everybody don't talk about climate Everybody don't talk about wellfare reform,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: everybody don't talk about inmates. Everybody from every section of
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: the world. I know every news channel dealt with the pandemic.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: Now listen to this. This is twenty twenty one. Here's
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: what I've decided to do. And I'm just offering this
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: as a thought for people out there. Twenty twenty is gone.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: It cannot come back. We cannot change a single thing
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: about twenty twenty. We do have they to have an
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: effect on twenty twenty one. Now listen to me. I'm
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: not a soothsayer, I'm not a psychic. Most people are not.
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: We have no idea what can happen or what's going
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: to happen in twenty twenty one. But you can set
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: yourself up for prosperity. By setting your mind up for prosperity.
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: You can set yourself up and position yourself for success.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: If you position your mind for success, you can elevate
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: your place and position in life. If you elevate your mind,
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: everything starts from your mind. I'll give you an example.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: If you wake up in the morning and you say,
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: oh man, I hate waking up in the morning. Oh man,
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: I got to go down here to this damn job.
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: Oh man, I showed her feel like this today? Man,
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: what they're talking about? I don't feel like this traffic.
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: I can tell you right now. If you wake up
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: like that, you have started your day off and you've
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: positioned yourself to have a rough day because you started
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: it in your mind. You ain't even went to work
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: yet you already don't like it. You ain't even got
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: in your car and got in the traffic. You're already
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: complaining about it. You ain't even ran up into that
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: person that you don't really care for. You already put
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: them in your head. You've began the process of having
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: a dismal day. If you just wake up in the
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: morning and say, wow, I woke up this morning. Thank
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: you Lord, Man, I got another opportunity. Thank you Lord.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: I got an opportunity to a chance to get it right.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: Today I can move one step closer to my goals.
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: Thank you Lord. I promise you, if you start your
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: day that way, I expect great things to happen today. Father,
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: you put yourself into position to start receiving, looking for
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: and guiding yourself through a better day. Now that's not
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: to say that things are not going to happen, but
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: at least you set yourself up for success so when
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: it does happen, you can realize, Okay, this is part
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: of the process. But let me ride this out. God
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: got something from me because he woke me up this morning.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: I still thank you Lord. Give me the strength and
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: the wisdom and understanding to get through this today. In
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: other words, to do the Lord's prayer. Give us our
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: give us this day our daily bread. Just give me
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: the strength to get through today. I'm telling you, man,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: it all change the aspects. Get yourself. Some vision boards
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: write down your dreams, man, meditate on things that you
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: see coming. Put the things down that's in your imagination.
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: Ask God to make your dreams come true. Meditate on
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: the positive and the glowing outlook of life. Realizing though
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: that along the way you're going to be challeng lenge
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: to attain those dreams, aspirations and things in your imagination.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: But at least you position yourself for success. People who
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: don't do that, you don't even position yourself for success,
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: So when anything comes along, you further perpetuate the old
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: woe is me mindset. But if you got your mind
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: made up that God is going to do something great
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: for you, when things happen, you still look for the greatness.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: You have got to start positioning yourself for success. I
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: suggest that to you, twenty twenty is gone. We got
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: twenty twenty one in front of us. Y'all. Think about that.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: You're twenty twenty one can be the best year of
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: your life. Thank y'all for having us. This day. Will
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: see you tomorrow God, will it have a great day.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Talk to God he loved to hear front me. Bye
