- 0:22Speaker 4: Well, happy Friday morning. You made it to the weekend.
- 0:25Speaker 4: Ben Ferguson with you, and here are the big stories
- 0:27Speaker 4: we're covering today. On the forty seven Morning Update, President
- 0:31Speaker 4: Trump has unveiled a new plan for the quote largest
- 0:35Speaker 4: tax cut in the history of this country for middle
- 0:38Speaker 4: class working Americans.
- 0:40Speaker 5: What's in it?
- 0:41Speaker 4: I'll give you all the details coming up in just
- 0:43Speaker 4: a moment. Also, you know about how much money the
- 0:46Speaker 4: government was giving to private media companies. That's been exposed
- 0:50Speaker 4: by DOJE. But what happens when you have radio stations
- 0:55Speaker 4: that are backed by George Soros broadcasting the live locations
- 0:59Speaker 4: of undercover ICE agents. Well, the FCC is now open
- 1:04Speaker 4: an investigation into exactly that.
- 1:06Speaker 5: I'll give you those details as well.
- 1:08Speaker 4: And finally, if you are a Christian or religious individual,
- 1:12Speaker 4: you're gonna love what President Trump is planning on sunny,
- 1:15Speaker 4: an executive order creating a task force to eradicate anti
- 1:19Speaker 4: Christian bias within the US federal government. It is the
- 1:24Speaker 4: forty seven Morning Update, and it starts right now.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Story number one.
- 1:28Speaker 4: There are two themes that we are witnessing happening each
- 1:31Speaker 4: and every day coming from the Oval Office. Number one,
- 1:35Speaker 4: slashing the size of government, and two giving those savings
- 1:39Speaker 4: back to American taxpayers. Now, the slashing is happening at
- 1:42Speaker 4: record rates. The Secretary of State Marco Rubio just deemed
- 1:46Speaker 4: that only two hundred and ninety four USAID staffers are
- 1:51Speaker 4: necessary out of the more than fourteen thousand that are
- 1:55Speaker 4: currently on the pay roll. The entire agency will be
- 1:59Speaker 4: immediately reduced from the fourteen thousand to two hundred and
- 2:03Speaker 4: ninety four employees. This has to be the biggest mass
- 2:06Speaker 4: firing so far in the Trump administration. Now, the second
- 2:09Speaker 4: question is, well, if we're going to start saving all
- 2:11Speaker 4: this money, what are we going to do with it? Well,
- 2:14Speaker 4: we have an answer to that question coming from the
- 2:17Speaker 4: White House today, as the White House Press Secretary came
- 2:20Speaker 4: out announcing the largest tax cut in history for middle
- 2:24Speaker 4: class working Americans.
- 2:26Speaker 5: What's in it? She describes it.
- 2:28Speaker 1: So, these are the tax priorities of the Trump administration
- 2:32Speaker 1: that the President has laid out for members in that
- 2:34Speaker 1: meeting today. No tax on tips, which is obviously a
- 2:38Speaker 1: very public campaign promise that the President made. No tax
- 2:40Speaker 1: on seniors Social Security, no tax on overtime pay. Renewing
- 2:46Speaker 1: President Trump's twenty seventeen middle class tax cuts. Again, these
- 2:50Speaker 1: are the President's priorities. Adjusting the salts cap, eliminate all
- 2:54Speaker 1: the special tax breaks for billionaire sports team owners, close
- 2:57Speaker 1: the carried interest tax deduction loophole, tax cuts for made
- 3:01Speaker 1: in America products. This will be the largest tax cut
- 3:04Speaker 1: in history for middle class, working Americans. The President is
- 3:07Speaker 1: committed to working with Congress to get this done.
- 3:09Speaker 4: You hear that list, and there's some things in there
- 3:11Speaker 4: that should really stand out. One of those is incredible
- 3:15Speaker 4: about a tax cut for quote made and America products.
- 3:19Speaker 4: That one should stand out to all Americans and American
- 3:22Speaker 4: manufacturers or companies that manufacture overseas. What is the president
- 3:26Speaker 4: trying to do. He's trying to create industries in this country,
- 3:31Speaker 4: create products that are made in America, and make sure
- 3:34Speaker 4: that American workers have the great opportunity to succeed instead
- 3:38Speaker 4: of watching their jobs be shipped off overseas. Now, if
- 3:43Speaker 4: you look at what happened in this meeting, it was
- 3:46Speaker 4: one that was very important. The meeting was with House
- 3:48Speaker 4: Republican leaders, and the President outlined his proposal as he
- 3:53Speaker 4: described to them, to eliminate federal taxes on that list,
- 3:57Speaker 4: tips overtime pay, security benefits are at the top of
- 4:02Speaker 4: the list. Now, to offset the potential revenue loss from
- 4:05Speaker 4: these cuts, President Trump has suggested ending tax benefits for
- 4:09Speaker 4: billionaire sports team owners and heads fund managers, specifically by
- 4:14Speaker 4: closing the carried interest loophole. Now, the administration is working closely.
- 4:18Speaker 4: We've also been told from inside the White House with
- 4:21Speaker 4: Congressional Republicans to finalize these tax initiatives. Internal debates are
- 4:26Speaker 4: happening as we speak.
- 4:28Speaker 5: Now.
- 4:28Speaker 4: While you may be asking yourself, why doesn't President Trump
- 4:31Speaker 4: just do this through executive order, Well, he's not allowed to.
- 4:34Speaker 4: Implementing them through an executive order is not feasible as
- 4:38Speaker 4: tax legislation requires congressional approval, which is exactly why he
- 4:42Speaker 4: had the meeting with Republican congressional leaders. Therefore, the administration
- 4:46Speaker 4: is now stating that their sole focus is on pushing
- 4:50Speaker 4: legislative avenues to achieve these objectives that were laid out.
- 4:54Speaker 4: At the end of the day, the President is saying
- 4:56Speaker 4: it again, I'm going to save you your money that's being
- 4:58Speaker 4: wasted by our government, and then I want to return
- 5:01Speaker 4: much of it to you. Now story number two, as
- 5:04Speaker 4: most of you probably already know, we've now found out
- 5:07Speaker 4: that our federal government was sending millions and millions of
- 5:11Speaker 4: your tax dollars to major media organizations. In essence, they
- 5:16Speaker 4: were state sponsored media under the Biden Harris administrations. Whether
- 5:20Speaker 4: it's Politico, which has received eight point two million on
- 5:23Speaker 4: subscriptions alone, or the New York Times, which has received
- 5:27Speaker 4: millions of dollars as well the Associated Press add them
- 5:31Speaker 4: to the list on the take from the government.
- 5:33Speaker 5: And then you have literal government.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Media like National Public Radio, which receives an incredible amount
- 5:39Speaker 4: of money from the federal government. Now all of this
- 5:42Speaker 4: is being exposed and much of it is being stopped.
- 5:45Speaker 4: But there's also other problems we're now finding out about
- 5:49Speaker 4: when it comes to private radio stations. In fact, right
- 5:53Speaker 4: before Donald Trump came into office, the Federal Communications Commission
- 5:58Speaker 4: approved a license deal delivering leftist billionaire George Soros control
- 6:04Speaker 4: over two hundred Odyssey radio stations. Yes, there was dissenting
- 6:09Speaker 4: commissioners that were calling it quote unprecedented at the time
- 6:13Speaker 4: it took place.
- 6:14Speaker 5: So why did they do it?
- 6:15Speaker 4: Well, the deal was to allow Soros to acquire much
- 6:18Speaker 4: power in the United States of America, and there were
- 6:21Speaker 4: some that were saying this is flat out wrong.
- 6:23Speaker 5: Well guess what they've been doing with those radio stations.
- 6:26Speaker 4: Well now the Federal Communications Commission, the same group that
- 6:31Speaker 4: just a few months ago allowed for foreign backed billionaire
- 6:35Speaker 4: George Soros to own two hundred plus radio stations in America,
- 6:39Speaker 4: has launched an investigation into those radio stations. Yes, this group,
- 6:45Speaker 4: backed by the Hungarian born Soros, purchased those stations, and
- 6:49Speaker 4: now they're using those stations, apparently to help criminals and
- 6:53Speaker 4: their activity. According to Fox News, one of those stations,
- 6:58Speaker 4: k CBS SZ seven forty AM in San Francisco, has
- 7:03Speaker 4: come under scrutiny from the SEC for revealing live locations
- 7:09Speaker 4: of undercover ice vehicles and agents that we're conducting deportation
- 7:14Speaker 4: operations in the San Jose area. The FCC Enforcement Bureau
- 7:19Speaker 4: has already sent a formal letter. We're being told of
- 7:22Speaker 4: inquiry to the radio station as part of the FCC investigation.
- 7:26Speaker 4: The Enforcement Bureau proceeding is inquiring whether the radio station,
- 7:31Speaker 4: which is licensed to operate by the FCC, is violating
- 7:35Speaker 4: the terms of their license, which requires that they operate
- 7:39Speaker 4: in the public interest. Now, the ICE agents we're reportedly
- 7:43Speaker 4: operating in response to violent gang activity, we're talking about
- 7:48Speaker 4: the worst among us. On January the twenty sixth, the
- 7:51Speaker 4: host of KCBS radio Weekend News revealed over the public
- 7:56Speaker 4: airwaves that undercover ICE agents were quote carrying out an
- 8:00Speaker 4: operation on the east side of town, and then revealed
- 8:04Speaker 4: the specific make, color, and model of several unmarked vehicles
- 8:09Speaker 4: used in the operation. This all coming from Fox News.
- 8:13Speaker 4: The FCC Commissioner, a Trump now appointee, said in a
- 8:16Speaker 4: statement that broadcasting such locations could potentially put agents at risk,
- 8:21Speaker 4: which would violate the public interests. Saying this, I want
- 8:24Speaker 4: to express my thanks and appreciation to the Department of
- 8:27Speaker 4: Homeland Security and ICE agents. These law enforcement professionals are
- 8:31Speaker 4: honorably serving their country and carrying out vital missions, their
- 8:34Speaker 4: safety as paramount. The FCC will hold broadcasters accountable for
- 8:39Speaker 4: complying with their public interest obligations. So if you want
- 8:43Speaker 4: to know why Democrats ran this through right before Trump
- 8:46Speaker 4: came into office, it was because they wanted George Soros
- 8:49Speaker 4: to be able to control the airwaves and apparently give
- 8:52Speaker 4: out live data on law enforcement operations to help those
- 8:56Speaker 4: that are wanted.
- 8:57Speaker 5: And lastly, story number three, maybe one.
- 9:00Speaker 4: Of the most important announcements that Donald Trump will make
- 9:03Speaker 4: in his presidency. President Trump announced on Thursday that he
- 9:07Speaker 4: will sign an executive order to create a task force
- 9:10Speaker 4: that will eradicate anti Christian bias from the federal government.
- 9:14Speaker 4: The President made the announcement at the National Prayer Breakfast
- 9:18Speaker 4: in Washington, d C. Adding that the Attorney General, Pam Bondi,
- 9:21Speaker 4: will lead that task force. Here's the President, in his
- 9:25Speaker 4: own words.
- 9:26Speaker 2: To confront such weaponization and religious persecution. Today, I'm signing
- 9:30Speaker 2: an executive order to make our attorney General, who's a
- 9:34Speaker 2: great person.
- 9:35Speaker 6: She's going to be a great Attorney General, Pambondi.
- 9:38Speaker 2: The head of a task force brand new to eradicate
- 9:41Speaker 2: anti Christian bias.
- 9:43Speaker 6: About time right, anti Christian bias.
- 9:46Speaker 2: The mission of this task force will be to immediately
- 9:50Speaker 2: halt all forms of anti Christian targeting and discrimination within
- 9:54Speaker 2: the federal government, including at the DOJ, which was absolutely terrible,
- 9:59Speaker 2: the ira US, the FBI terrible, and other agencies in
- 10:04Speaker 2: addition to task Force will work to fully prosecute anti
- 10:08Speaker 2: Christian violence and vandalism in our society and to move
- 10:12Speaker 2: heaven in order to defend the rights of Christians and
- 10:15Speaker 2: religious believers nationwide. You've never had that before, but this
- 10:19Speaker 2: is a very powerful document. I'm signing you. You got
- 10:23Speaker 2: it now, first time you've had it. If we don't
- 10:26Speaker 2: have religious liberty, then we don't have a free country.
- 10:29Speaker 6: We probably don't even have a country.
- 10:32Speaker 4: The order clearly establishes a task force called the Quote
- 10:36Speaker 4: Task Force to end the War on Christians and will
- 10:39Speaker 4: include members of Trump's cabinet and agencies. The task Force
- 10:44Speaker 4: will review all departments to identify and eliminate anti Christian policies, practices,
- 10:50Speaker 4: or conduct. The President's order also will seek to find
- 10:55Speaker 4: gaps and laws and enforcement contributing to such conduct, and
- 10:59Speaker 4: then make recommendations on further action if necessary. The task
- 11:04Speaker 4: Force will be required to submit an annual report on
- 11:06Speaker 4: its progress and a final report when it concludes its work.
- 11:11Speaker 4: The best part is Pambondi is going to be leading
- 11:13Speaker 4: the way. And one other thing that's very important is
- 11:16Speaker 4: the presidents also promise to go back to crimes that
- 11:20Speaker 4: were committed in the not so distant past. President Trump
- 11:24Speaker 4: had also promised at the fifty second Annual March for
- 11:27Speaker 4: Life rally in January to instruct the Department of Justice
- 11:32Speaker 4: to investigate the hundreds of pro abortion attacks on churches
- 11:37Speaker 4: and pregnancy sinners that occurred following the leak of the
- 11:42Speaker 4: Supreme Court's Dab decision in twenty twenty two. If we
- 11:46Speaker 4: don't have religious liberty, then we don't have a free country.
- 11:50Speaker 4: We probably don't even have a country. That is how
- 11:54Speaker 4: Donald Trump put it today, and I couldn't agree more
- 11:57Speaker 4: with what he said.
