- 0:01Speaker 1: I want to take you back to February of this year,
- 0:04Speaker 1: and something big happened at the White House. The Trump
- 0:07Speaker 1: administration designated several major drug cartels, including the Sinaloa Cartel,
- 0:13Speaker 1: MS thirteen and others, as quote global terrorists organizations. Well,
- 0:19Speaker 1: now we know more about why that decision was made.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Donald Trump's executive authority has now been used and has
- 0:26Speaker 1: signed a directive empowering the Pentagon to prepare military options
- 0:32Speaker 1: on land and at sea against Latin American drug cartels
- 0:37Speaker 1: that have been designated as quote foreign terrorists organizations. Preparedness
- 0:43Speaker 1: and non immediate action is what this is really all about.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Military plans are being drawn up, we're being told now,
- 0:51Speaker 1: including special forces, intelligence operations, naval operations, and surveillance. The
- 0:59Speaker 1: threshold fractual deployment has not been crossed yet. No ground operations,
- 1:04Speaker 1: we've been told, are imminent. But Mexico is already responding
- 1:09Speaker 1: to this. In fact, today Mexico extradited twenty six top
- 1:16Speaker 1: cartel leaders to the US and a Trump administration deal.
- 1:21Speaker 1: The transfer comes ahead of a twenty five percent tariff
- 1:25Speaker 1: on Mexican goods imposed by President Trump. Mexico handing over
- 1:30Speaker 1: these twenty six top cartel leaders in the United States
- 1:33Speaker 1: of America this week is massive. It's something that Biden
- 1:36Speaker 1: never even tried to do or Obama. The cartel figures
- 1:40Speaker 1: were scheduled to fly the US on Tuesday, we were
- 1:43Speaker 1: being told by reporters today is the latest example of
- 1:47Speaker 1: the Trump administration's historic effort to dismantle cartels and foreign
- 1:53Speaker 1: terrorists organizations. That's what Attorney General Pam Bondi said to
- 1:57Speaker 1: Fox News, saying, quote, these twenty six men have all
- 2:01Speaker 1: played a role in bringing violence and drugs to American chores.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Under the Department of Justice, they will face severe consequences
- 2:09Speaker 1: for their crimes against his country. And we're grateful to
- 2:13Speaker 1: the President of Mexico and the Mexican government for their
- 2:16Speaker 1: collaboration in this matter. Now, one of the twenty six
- 2:20Speaker 1: cartel members that was turned over the US is a
- 2:23Speaker 1: man that was wanted. His name was Gonzales Vallecina. He
- 2:28Speaker 1: was a leader of one of the top Mexican cartels
- 2:31Speaker 1: and he also is accused of participating in the two
- 2:34Speaker 1: thousand and eight killing of a Los Angeles sheriff deputy.
- 2:38Speaker 1: He's one of those that is among the twenty six
- 2:41Speaker 1: that are being handed over to the US. The Trump administration,
- 2:45Speaker 1: by the way, has classified that cartel, the CJNG, as
- 2:50Speaker 1: a terrorist organization. Mexico's Attorney General's office and the Security
- 2:55Speaker 1: Ministry confirmed the men were being handed over, saying the
- 2:58Speaker 1: deal was made after the US this Justice Department said
- 3:01Speaker 1: it wouldn't seek the death penalty for any of the men.
- 3:06Speaker 1: The deal comes amid the Trump administration's focus on border security,
- 3:10Speaker 1: an attempt to crack down on Mexican cartels that's in
- 3:13Speaker 1: drugs across the border. President Trump's top priority is protecting
- 3:18Speaker 1: the homeland, which is why it took the bold steps
- 3:21Speaker 1: to designate several cartels and gangs as foreign terrorist organizations.
- 3:25Speaker 1: That's what the Deputy White House pres Secretary said today
- 3:28Speaker 1: in a statement that was released Mexican President on Friday,
- 3:32Speaker 1: so the US military would not be entering Mexican territory
- 3:36Speaker 1: following reports that Washington could take action to combat the cartels, saying, quote,
- 3:42Speaker 1: we co operate, we collaborate, but there is not going
- 3:46Speaker 1: to be an invasion. It's off the table, absolutely off
- 3:50Speaker 1: the table, quote unquote, which brings me back to the
- 3:54Speaker 1: White House. I want you to take a listen to
- 3:57Speaker 1: part of what was said about what the president is
- 3:59Speaker 1: planning to do and how serious he is about combating
- 4:03Speaker 1: these terrorists. Here he is in his own words.
- 4:07Speaker 2: You were talking about sending military forces to fight against
- 4:10Speaker 2: the drug cartels in Latin America.
- 4:12Speaker 3: Do you think it's worth sending our forces or US
- 4:15Speaker 3: forces there to take this.
- 4:16Speaker 4: On cartels where central Latin America.
- 4:20Speaker 5: Latin America's got a lot of cartels, They've got a
- 4:23Speaker 5: lot of drugs flowing. So, you know, we want to
- 4:26Speaker 5: protect our country. We have to protect our country. We
- 4:29Speaker 5: haven't been doing it for four years. And we love
- 4:32Speaker 5: this country like they love their countries. We have to
- 4:35Speaker 5: protect our country. So you know, we're playing a tough game.
- 4:39Speaker 5: But we'll have more to say about that soon.
- 4:41Speaker 1: We'll have more to say about that soon. Clearly the
- 4:45Speaker 1: President United States of America not messing around when it
- 4:48Speaker 1: comes to protecting the homeland. Are you one of those
- 4:51Speaker 1: that's just so tired of giving your money to radical
- 4:54Speaker 1: left woke companies that actually are fighting against your values
- 4:58Speaker 1: every day? Well, there are certain bills that you pay
- 5:01Speaker 1: every month that if you can go with a conservative company,
- 5:05Speaker 1: why not do it? In fact, why not go with
- 5:07Speaker 1: a conservative company? That actually takes part of your bill
- 5:10Speaker 1: every month that you're going to pay to somebody, and
- 5:12Speaker 1: they give it back to organizations that support your First
- 5:16Speaker 1: and your Second Amendment rights, that support the rights of
- 5:18Speaker 1: unborn children, that stand with our military, are first responders,
- 5:24Speaker 1: and so many wounded warriors that need help. Well, that
- 5:28Speaker 1: bill I'm talking about is your cell phone bill. And
- 5:32Speaker 1: I've been telling you for a long time about Patriot Mobile.
- 5:35Speaker 1: But there's no better time to switch than right now.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Not only does Patriot Mobile operate on all three major
- 5:41Speaker 1: networks in this country, yeah, all three. That means you
- 5:44Speaker 1: get the same great coverage you're used to right now,
- 5:47Speaker 1: but you also make a difference with every call you
- 5:49Speaker 1: make and every text you make. And why would you
- 5:51Speaker 1: want to give your money a big mobile? Big Mobile
- 5:54Speaker 1: has been giving big donations to democratic causes, democratic candidates,
- 5:59Speaker 1: and radical left organizations. I'm talking about organizations that actually
- 6:03Speaker 1: support abortion. That is why I want you to switch
- 6:08Speaker 1: right now to Patriot Mobile. Go ahead and make the switch,
- 6:12Speaker 1: and it's so easy. All you have to do is
- 6:15Speaker 1: simply call Patriot Mobiles one hundred percent US based team
- 6:19Speaker 1: from the comfort of your home or your office, and
- 6:21Speaker 1: they'll have you activated in minutes, and if you're still
- 6:24Speaker 1: locked in a contract, not a problem. Patriots Mobile contract
- 6:27Speaker 1: buyout program covers up to five hundred dollars per device.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Keep your same number, keep your phone, or upgrade do
- 6:34Speaker 1: a new one. So back to my point, what are
- 6:36Speaker 1: you waiting for? Call Patriot Mobile today and make a
- 6:39Speaker 1: difference every single day with every call you make. Patriot
- 6:43Speaker 1: Mobile dot com slash ferguson. That's Patriot Mobile dot com
- 6:48Speaker 1: slash ferguson or nine to seven to two Patriot. And
- 6:52Speaker 1: if you use the promo code ferguson, you're gonna get
- 6:55Speaker 1: a free month of service on top of that. Patriot
- 6:58Speaker 1: Mobile dot com slash ferguson or nine seven to two Patriot.
- 7:02Speaker 1: That's Patriotmobile dot com slash fergusoner ninety seven to two Patriot. Now,
- 7:07Speaker 1: the President has not only sent a queer message he's
- 7:09Speaker 1: not messing around with Mexico, but the former acting ICE
- 7:12Speaker 1: Director says this quote, the game is up for the
- 7:15Speaker 1: cartels amid Trump's border crackdown. Here's more of what he
- 7:19Speaker 1: said this plan could look like.
- 7:21Speaker 6: Donathan Fehe, former acting ICE Director and former DHS Deputy
- 7:24Speaker 6: Assistant Secretary Jonathan great to have you on the show.
- 7:27Speaker 6: I want to play some sound here from the Secretary
- 7:29Speaker 6: of State Marco Rubio. He said this about targeting cartels
- 7:34Speaker 6: as terrorists.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Their behavior is going to have to change one way
- 7:37Speaker 3: or another, but it allows us to now target what
- 7:39Speaker 3: they're operating and to use other elements of American power,
- 7:42Speaker 3: intelligence agencies, the Department of Defense, whatever, Yeah, to target
- 7:45Speaker 3: these groups. If we have an opportunity to do it,
- 7:47Speaker 3: we have to start treating them as armed terrorist organizations,
- 7:51Speaker 3: not simply drug dealing organizations.
- 7:54Speaker 6: I mean, I think it's a proper assessment. I don't
- 7:55Speaker 6: know what you think about this, Jonathan, but it's interesting
- 7:58Speaker 6: because these cartels are no longer just providing these illegal
- 8:01Speaker 6: products by the thousands of pounds. They're killing thousands of Americans.
- 8:07Speaker 7: You're exactly right.
- 8:08Speaker 8: And if you think about it, just during the Biden administration,
- 8:11Speaker 8: four hundred thousand people died of overdose tests just in
- 8:15Speaker 8: that four year term, and as we know, there is
- 8:17Speaker 8: just a complete dereliction of duty on the border as
- 8:20Speaker 8: well as taking it to their cartels. And just for
- 8:22Speaker 8: some context, that's one hundred thousand more than during the
- 8:26Speaker 8: first Trump administration, So a massive increase. We need to
- 8:29Speaker 8: take it to them because, yeah, people are dying, and
- 8:32Speaker 8: President Trump isn't going to just stand by and just say, oh,
- 8:35Speaker 8: this is now the status quo. One hundred thousand Americans.
- 8:38Speaker 8: Ye're going to die of overdose. This is unacceptable. He's
- 8:41Speaker 8: going to take it to them. And there's a you know,
- 8:44Speaker 8: another benefit to this by by even talking about this.
- 8:48Speaker 8: The messaging is so strong on this. This will inspire
- 8:51Speaker 8: cooperation from all these countries where we may be acting
- 8:54Speaker 8: in so all of these will be a good thing.
- 8:56Speaker 8: And we'll track this at the end of the year
- 8:58Speaker 8: where these overdose tests go.
- 9:01Speaker 6: And I'm interested, and you know, when you get pushback
- 9:04Speaker 6: on this, because the upside is enormous on this, and
- 9:07Speaker 6: the downside is also enormous. I mean, if you don't
- 9:10Speaker 6: do this and you continue to let tens of thousands,
- 9:13Speaker 6: hundreds of thousands of Americans die, I mean it is
- 9:17Speaker 6: this is something that there is a fix to at
- 9:19Speaker 6: least there's somewhat of a remedy.
- 9:21Speaker 7: To this if we go forward.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 9:24Speaker 8: And it's almost like we've had four years where we
- 9:26Speaker 8: weren't even trying to do something during the Biden administration. Yeah,
- 9:29Speaker 8: it's not acceptable because one hundred thousand people of your dying.
- 9:33Speaker 8: Those are those people, their families, their communities. Everyone in
- 9:36Speaker 8: this country is affected by this. So it's time to
- 9:39Speaker 8: take it to these cartels. And their good days are over.
- 9:42Speaker 8: They had their heyday under the Biden administration. But the
- 9:45Speaker 8: game is up and the Trump Investation's going after them.
- 9:49Speaker 8: And I think this is very effective, not only substantively,
- 9:52Speaker 8: but I think the messaging is quite clear on.
- 9:54Speaker 6: This meantime, let's bring the subject back to some action
- 9:58Speaker 6: by federal agents in this count Here's DHS Secretary of
- 10:02Speaker 6: Christy Nolan.
- 10:03Speaker 4: The debate over so called sanctuary policies has real consequences
- 10:07Speaker 4: and has consequences for our law enforcement officers, but also
- 10:10Speaker 4: for the families that live here in the businesses that
- 10:12Speaker 4: are just trying to provide for their community. Governor Pritzker
- 10:16Speaker 4: and Mayor Johnson are answering that question every single day
- 10:19Speaker 4: of who should be our priority, who should be our responsibility,
- 10:25Speaker 4: and over and over again they're choosing criminals.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Over and over again. They're choosing criminals. Christin Nome is
- 10:31Speaker 1: absolutely right. The Democratic Party is choosing radicals, lawlessness, anarchy,
- 10:37Speaker 1: the cartels, and the people that are poising our kids
- 10:40Speaker 1: with fetanyl every single day, and President Donald Trump is
- 10:44Speaker 1: saying very clearly now we're coming after those people, and
- 10:48Speaker 1: we're going to go after the cartels wherever they are
- 10:51Speaker 1: so that we can protect American interests. And that's exactly
- 10:55Speaker 1: why Mexico handed over twenty six top cardtis hell members
- 11:00Speaker 1: of the US today in a bombshell report, a Democratic
- 11:06Speaker 1: whistleblower has come forward a longtime staffer on the House
- 11:12Speaker 1: Intelligence Committee and told the FBI back in December of
- 11:17Speaker 1: twenty seventeen, during Donald Trump's first year in office, that
- 11:23Speaker 1: then Representative Adam Schiff authorized the leaking of classified information
- 11:30Speaker 1: during the Russia Gate investigation to discredit President Donald Trump,
- 11:37Speaker 1: believing that he would be appointed CIA director under a
- 11:41Speaker 1: potential Hillary Clinton presidency. In meetings, Adam Shift allegedly stated
- 11:48Speaker 1: the leaks would be used to indict President Trump. When
- 11:52Speaker 1: the whistleblower objected, others reportedly reassured him that they would
- 11:58Speaker 1: not quote b he caught. The whistleblower described a system
- 12:03Speaker 1: where sense of material was funneled to Shift and then
- 12:08Speaker 1: selectively leaked to the press. One document allegedly seen by
- 12:13Speaker 1: a small group including Shift and Representative Eric Swalwell. You
- 12:17Speaker 1: remember the congressman that was literally sleeping with a Chinese
- 12:20Speaker 1: spy was leaked almost verbatim within a day. The whistle
- 12:26Speaker 1: blower labeled these actions unethical and potentially treason US and
- 12:32Speaker 1: sought FBI involvement, though the Department of Justice reportedly declined
- 12:37Speaker 1: to pursue the investigation further. The White House Press secretary,
- 12:42Speaker 1: calling the report a bombshell, cigning the newly released FBI
- 12:46Speaker 1: documentation about the whistleblower's account. Here's more of what Caroline
- 12:50Speaker 1: Levitt had to say when she was asked about it
- 12:52Speaker 1: in the White House briefing room.
- 12:54Speaker 9: Okay, thanks Caroline. My question involves Russia Gate.
- 12:57Speaker 10: A whistleblower alleged that the Congressman Adam Shift approved leaking
- 13:01Speaker 10: classified information to smear President Trump's image during the Russia
- 13:05Speaker 10: Commut scandal.
- 13:06Speaker 5: As a president planned to investigate.
- 13:08Speaker 10: Adam Shift and what would accountability look like if more
- 13:12Speaker 10: information confirms this support. The President has already said he
- 13:15Speaker 10: wants to see Adam Shiff held accountable for the countless
- 13:18Speaker 10: lies he told the American people in relation to the
- 13:20Speaker 10: Russia Gate scandal. I brought Tulca Gabbert out to this
- 13:23Speaker 10: podium to talk to you about all of that. And
- 13:26Speaker 10: this administration is taking accountability very seriously. As for this
- 13:29Speaker 10: new FBI whistleblower report, I understand cash Pttel last night
- 13:33Speaker 10: declassified a three h two FBI document showing that a
- 13:37Speaker 10: whistleblower who is a Democrat, a career intelligence officer who
- 13:41Speaker 10: worked for Democrats on the House Intel Committee for more
- 13:44Speaker 10: than a decade, repeatedly warned the FBI in twenty seventeen
- 13:49Speaker 10: that then Rep. Adam Shiff had approved leaking classified information
- 13:54Speaker 10: to smear then President Donald Trump over the Russia Gate scandal.
- 13:58Speaker 10: This is obviously a bombshell whistleblower report. Hopefully more people
- 14:03Speaker 10: in this room will cover it as such. And I
- 14:05Speaker 10: have a quote from the FBI director for all of you.
- 14:08Speaker 10: He has said this for years. Certain officials use their
- 14:10Speaker 10: positions to selectively leak classified information to shape political narratives.
- 14:15Speaker 10: It was all done with one purpose, to weaponize intelligence
- 14:18Speaker 10: and law enforcement for political gain. Those abuses eroded public
- 14:22Speaker 10: trust in our institutions. The FBI will now lead the charge,
- 14:25Speaker 10: with our partners at DOJ and Congress will have the
- 14:28Speaker 10: chance to uncover how political power may have been weaponized
- 14:32Speaker 10: and to restore accountability. That's what the administration is focused on.
- 14:35Speaker 10: And hopefully we'll see some more media reports on this
- 14:39Speaker 10: whistleblower allegation. If this were reversed, if this were allegations
- 14:45Speaker 10: against the President or any of these cabinet officials, I'm
- 14:48Speaker 10: sure everyone in this room would cover it as such.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Carol I Lovitt, by the way, is absolutely right. The
- 14:53Speaker 1: media is not covering the story. Thank goodness, we're covering it.
- 14:56Speaker 1: And also they had a very interesting way of covering
- 14:59Speaker 1: this at five News on Brett Baar's show. I want
- 15:02Speaker 1: you to hear the latest of what he had to
- 15:03Speaker 1: say from Washington other.
- 15:05Speaker 11: Store we're following tonight, California Senator Adam Shiff is being
- 15:09Speaker 11: accused by a fellow Democrat of leaking classified information relating
- 15:14Speaker 11: to the Russia Gate scandal. Ship's office is denying those claims.
- 15:18Speaker 11: Senior Congressional correspondent Chad Program has all the details this
- 15:21Speaker 11: evening from Capitol Hill.
- 15:24Speaker 7: Treasonous and illegal. That's how a Democratic whistleblower characterized Adam Schiff,
- 15:29Speaker 7: accusing him of green lighting the leak of classified information
- 15:32Speaker 7: to undercut President Trump during the twenty seventeen Russiagate investigation.
- 15:37Speaker 10: The President has already said he wants to see Adam
- 15:39Speaker 10: Shiff held accountable for the countless lies he told the
- 15:42Speaker 10: American people in relation to the Russia Gate scandal.
- 15:45Speaker 7: The whistleblower was a veteran House Intelligence Committee staffer. The
- 15:49Speaker 7: FBI summary obtained by Fox says Schiff told Aids he
- 15:52Speaker 7: would quote leak classified information which was derogatory to the
- 15:56Speaker 7: president in hopes of scoring an indictment for the commander
- 15:59Speaker 7: in chief.
- 16:00Speaker 12: It's beyond unseemly.
- 16:02Speaker 7: This was just an egregious breach and really a reprehensible
- 16:09Speaker 7: act on the part of Adam. Schiff's office calls this
- 16:12Speaker 7: baseless smears, saying the whistleblower was quote not reliable, not credible,
- 16:17Speaker 7: and was fired. Schiff was the top Democrat on the
- 16:20Speaker 7: House Intelligence Committee as it probed possible twenty sixteen election interference.
- 16:25Speaker 13: If the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it aided
- 16:29Speaker 13: or abetted the Russians, it would not only be a
- 16:31Speaker 13: serious crime, it would also represent one of the most
- 16:34Speaker 13: shocking betrayals of democracy in history.
- 16:37Speaker 7: Schiff, who led the democrats first impeachment of President Trump,
- 16:40Speaker 7: now faces an unrelated criminal investigation for alleged mortgage fraud.
- 16:45Speaker 5: Now it looks like Adam Schiff really did a bad thing.
- 16:50Speaker 7: They have a Democrats say the GOP is trying to
- 16:54Speaker 7: shift the narrative.
- 16:55Speaker 5: Look, this is a nonsense.
- 16:56Speaker 8: This is an effort to change the subject away from
- 17:00Speaker 8: the Epstein files.
- 17:02Speaker 7: The FBI summary indicates that Schiff hope Hillary Clinton would
- 17:06Speaker 7: win in twenty sixteen. Schiff aspired to run the CIA.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Right, can you imagine if Adam Schiff was running the
- 17:14Speaker 1: CIA what he would have done knowing that apparently he
- 17:17Speaker 1: was leaking this type of classified information totally to take
- 17:21Speaker 1: down the president of the United States of America. So
- 17:25Speaker 1: when you look back over this issue moving forward, yes,
- 17:28Speaker 1: there should be accountability. There are some saying, wow, this
- 17:31Speaker 1: shouldn't be an issue of accountability, let's just move on
- 17:34Speaker 1: from it. If you're saying that, I think you're insane.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Because these people went totally outside of the law. Time
- 17:42Speaker 1: and time again, they abuse their power to try to
- 17:45Speaker 1: overthrow the will of the people. And that's exactly why
- 17:49Speaker 1: the White House reacted to this Democratic whistleblower as a bombshell,
- 17:53Speaker 1: And it's also the reason why the media in general
- 17:56Speaker 1: is not covering it. Jonathan Turley, breaking down the latest
- 18:01Speaker 1: allegations against Adam Shift, had this to say about it.
- 18:04Speaker 7: Take a listen.
- 18:06Speaker 12: Welcome back Democrat Senator Adam Shift. He's known to shift
- 18:10Speaker 12: the narrative, particularly on the Russia collusion hoax.
- 18:14Speaker 2: This is about as clear evidence you could find of
- 18:17Speaker 2: intent by the campaign to collude with the Russians. He
- 18:21Speaker 2: may be the first president in quite some time to
- 18:24Speaker 2: face the real prospect of jail time. The Russians offered help,
- 18:26Speaker 2: the campaign accepted help, The Russians gave help, and the
- 18:30Speaker 2: President made full use of that help. The evidence is
- 18:33Speaker 2: now overwhelming and unequivocal.
- 18:36Speaker 12: There is reporting almost testifying as to evidence linking Donald
- 18:41Speaker 12: Trump to Russia. Newly released FBI memos, by the Way,
- 18:46Speaker 12: obtained by Fox show a Democrat whistleblower who's accusing Adam
- 18:50Speaker 12: Shift of green lighting a leak of classified information in
- 18:55Speaker 12: order to damage Trump during the Russia Gate investigation. The
- 18:59Speaker 12: source called the following. In the meeting, Shifts stated the
- 19:02Speaker 12: group would leak classified information which was derogatory to President
- 19:07Speaker 12: of the United States Donald J. Trump. Shift stated the
- 19:10Speaker 12: information would be used to indict President Trump. Someone stated
- 19:14Speaker 12: this would be illegal, and upon hearing his concerns, an
- 19:17Speaker 12: unnamed member of the meeting reassured that certain someone they
- 19:21Speaker 12: would not be caught leaking classified information. No weather ever
- 19:26Speaker 12: going to get caught woots. FBI Director Cash Pattel posted,
- 19:32Speaker 12: we found it, we declassified it. Now Congress can see
- 19:35Speaker 12: how classified info was leaked to shape political narratives and
- 19:38Speaker 12: decide if our institutions were weaponized against the American people.
- 19:43Speaker 12: Shift is saying no, no, no, no, Wait a minute, Wait
- 19:44Speaker 12: a minute, wait a minute. I'm not guilty of leaking
- 19:46Speaker 12: classified information. Those baseless smears are based on allegations that
- 19:50Speaker 12: were found to be not reliable, not credible, and uncstantiated
- 19:53Speaker 12: from a disgruntled former staffer who was fired by the
- 19:55Speaker 12: House Intel Committee for cause in twenty seventeen, including for
- 19:59Speaker 12: herrass and potentially compromising activity on official travel for the committee.
- 20:06Speaker 12: You want me to think about official travel for the committee
- 20:08Speaker 12: when I'm sitting here concerned about you leaking classified information?
- 20:11Speaker 12: Joining me now, George Washington University law professor and Fox
- 20:14Speaker 12: News contributor Jonathan Turley, Professor's great to see you here today.
- 20:18Speaker 12: Leaking classified information that's a potentially very serious charge is
- 20:22Speaker 12: it not.
- 20:23Speaker 9: It doesn't get much more serious than that. The chairman
- 20:27Speaker 9: of the House Intel Committee doesn't have declassification authority over
- 20:30Speaker 9: these types of documents. They are made available to Congress
- 20:34Speaker 9: under very tightly controlled rules. This has been a source
- 20:37Speaker 9: of tension for years, and members of both parties have
- 20:42Speaker 9: gone out of their way to assure that this material
- 20:45Speaker 9: would be closely held and not weaponized. Shiff was viewed.
- 20:50Speaker 9: It is one of the most political chairs of that
- 20:52Speaker 9: committee in its history, and this is a truly chilling
- 20:57Speaker 9: account if true. Now I first read it, frankly, I
- 21:01Speaker 9: was taken aback because it's perfectly moronic to commit such
- 21:05Speaker 9: a felony with a planning conference meeting with staff. That's
- 21:12Speaker 9: not usually how things are leaked in Washington, d C.
- 21:17Speaker 9: What makes this different, Will is that this was a
- 21:21Speaker 9: statement made to FBI agents. The person who made this
- 21:25Speaker 9: statement was no doubt aware that lying to FBI agents
- 21:28Speaker 9: is not just a crime, but a crime that was
- 21:30Speaker 9: repeatedly prosecuted during prior administrations, including the Obama and Biden administrations.
- 21:37Speaker 9: So making this statement puts you at risk. That's why
- 21:41Speaker 9: someone's lying here, and someone's a felon.
- 21:44Speaker 1: The question now is do you believe Adam Schiff or
- 21:49Speaker 1: is Adam Schiff the felon and maybe the liar all
- 21:52Speaker 1: at the same time. We're going to keep covering this one.
- 21:55Speaker 1: I can promise you that Donald Trump has done something
- 21:59Speaker 1: that's truly incredible. Allow law enforcement to do their jobs,
- 22:03Speaker 1: and now Americans are signing up in record numbers to
- 22:06Speaker 1: get in on law and order. We now have found
- 22:10Speaker 1: out that over one hundred thousand Americans have submitted applications
- 22:15Speaker 1: for jobs at the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement known
- 22:20Speaker 1: as ICE, following the launch of a Department of Holaned
- 22:23Speaker 1: Security hiring campaign in late July. The Trump administration initiatives
- 22:28Speaker 1: seeks to add ten thousand more ICE personnel. Because of
- 22:32Speaker 1: the tens of millions of illegal immigrants that are in
- 22:34Speaker 1: this country, ICE agents are needed, and now they're offering
- 22:38Speaker 1: major perks as well and even easing some of the
- 22:41Speaker 1: qualification restrictions to make sure that we get incredible people
- 22:45Speaker 1: that are willing to work within ICE. This is one
- 22:49Speaker 1: of the best parts of all of what Donald Trump
- 22:51Speaker 1: has done. In a statement, the Department of Homeland Security
- 22:54Speaker 1: Secretary Christy Nomes stress the significance of the hiring push,
- 22:58Speaker 1: saying quote. This is a defining moment in our nation's history.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Your skills, your experience, and your courage have never been
- 23:06Speaker 1: more essential. Together, we must defend the homeland. No emphasize
- 23:10Speaker 1: that ICE agents are responsible for deporting the worst of
- 23:14Speaker 1: the worst criminals from the United States of America. To
- 23:18Speaker 1: draw in applicants, ICE is providing sign on bonuses as
- 23:21Speaker 1: high as fifty thousand dollars, along with programs for repaying
- 23:26Speaker 1: or for giving student loans and additional perks. This hiring
- 23:30Speaker 1: campaign occurs amid DHS statistics showing an eight hundred and
- 23:36Speaker 1: thirty percent surge in attacks on ICE agents, a number
- 23:40Speaker 1: that no medicated has now climb to one thousand percent
- 23:45Speaker 1: because the radical left demonizing law and order. The acting
- 23:50Speaker 1: ICE Director Todd Lyons has drawn also attention to the
- 23:53Speaker 1: difficulties ICE agents are enduring and encountering in the public.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Because of the open border policies of the former Biden
- 24:01Speaker 1: Harris government, the dedicated men and women of ICE now
- 24:05Speaker 1: face unprecedented challenges in removing millions of criminal legal aliens
- 24:09Speaker 1: from our country, and that's exactly why they're trying to
- 24:12Speaker 1: hire ten thousand new individuals now. The ICE hiring portal
- 24:17Speaker 1: features various positions such as deportation officer, criminal investigator, and
- 24:23Speaker 1: general attorney, and it also clearly responds to the occupational hazards,
- 24:29Speaker 1: noting that agents are quote expertly trained and that all
- 24:33Speaker 1: possible measures are implemented to protect them. Every candidate for
- 24:38Speaker 1: law enforcement position will be subject to health evaluations, substance screenings,
- 24:43Speaker 1: and fitness tests during the recruitment. This is exactly why
- 24:47Speaker 1: they've received more than one hundred thousand applicants, because so
- 24:50Speaker 1: many people are willing to fight to protect this country
- 24:53Speaker 1: when they know the commander in chief is backing them up.
- 24:56Speaker 1: And that's exactly what you're getting from President Trumpe. Share
