- 0:00Speaker 1: This is an agency that is near and dear to
- 0:02Speaker 1: my heart as a former assistant the United States Attorney

- 0:07Speaker 1: top of the Department of Justice. Obviously, we thank Pam
- 0:10Speaker 1: for our service and she's served the administration for this
- 0:14Speaker 1: first fifteen months. But the next person who's heading the
- 0:17Speaker 1: Department of Justice has got to be aggressive. We have
- 0:19Speaker 1: a limited period right now with President Trump and the
- 0:22Speaker 1: White House, with the House Republicans and Center Republicans, we

- 1:04Speaker 3: Mobile isn't just a wireless provider. They're an activist organization
- 1:08Speaker 3: funded by selling top tier cell service. They've been on

- 2:17Speaker 3: dot com slash ben forty seven or nine seven to
- 2:21Speaker 3: two Patriot and make the switch today. It's a forty
- 2:25Speaker 3: seven Morning Update, and it starts right now.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 2:29Speaker 3: There was major news coming out of the White House
- 2:32Speaker 3: today and that was the reporting that Pambondi has been
- 2:36Speaker 3: fired from any official position in the Trump administration. I
- 2:41Speaker 3: want to walk you through exactly what happened here and
- 2:44Speaker 3: why it's happening, so you understand. Over the last twenty
- 2:47Speaker 3: four hours, there have been rumors circulating all over Washington
- 2:51Speaker 3: that Pambondi was either fired, forced out, or stepping down
- 2:55Speaker 3: amid internal conflict. However, none of those claims well became
- 3:00Speaker 3: the real story until the White House made it very
- 3:02Speaker 3: clear that she was out of a job. Here's how
- 3:06Speaker 3: the news broke on Fox News Channel.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Kaylee, I just got off the phone with President Trump.
- 3:10Speaker 4: We have a big scoope. Pam Bondi will soon leave
- 3:14Speaker 4: her job as the Attorney General. She is going to
- 3:17Speaker 4: get a different job within the administration. It doesn't sound
- 3:21Speaker 4: like there is any bad blood between her and President Trump,
- 3:24Speaker 4: but it does seem like they want her to go
- 3:27Speaker 4: and do something else, and in an interim role. She
- 3:30Speaker 4: will be replaced by Todd Blanche who is currently her
- 3:34Speaker 4: deputy at the Justice Department. So it doesn't sound like
- 3:38Speaker 4: Blanche is being elevated long term to the attorney General.
- 3:41Speaker 4: There might be somebody else that the President wants to
- 3:43Speaker 4: go in there. But President Trump soon will announce to
- 3:48Speaker 4: the entire world that it is the end of Pam
- 3:52Speaker 4: Bondi's time as the Attorney General. He still thinks that
- 3:55Speaker 4: she is a great person and that she did a
- 3:57Speaker 4: good job, and he still wants her in the because
- 4:00Speaker 4: she will still be an important part of the administration,
- 4:03Speaker 4: he tells me, but no longer as the top law
- 4:07Speaker 4: enforcement officer of the United States. That at least for
- 4:11Speaker 4: a little while, is going to be Todd Blanche Or do.
- 4:14Speaker 1: You see that right here?
- 4:15Speaker 5: First, that's rather a big news. And I'm sure you
- 4:17Speaker 5: don't have answer to this, but there have been some
- 4:18Speaker 5: rumored names to replace her. Did you happen to catch
- 4:21Speaker 5: that so far?
- 4:23Speaker 1: Tom Blanche.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Now, even as that news broke, there were still questions
- 4:28Speaker 3: being asked. Hold on a second, was Pam Bonni fired?
- 4:30Speaker 3: Was she not fired? And is she actually going to
- 4:33Speaker 3: stay within the administration. Well, here's a new headline from
- 4:36Speaker 3: the New York Post right now. Pam Bonnie speaks out
- 4:39Speaker 3: for the first time after Trump fired her as the
- 4:42Speaker 3: Attorney General Now the former US Attorney General, Pam Bondi
- 4:47Speaker 3: is their headline. Spoke out after being fired for her
- 4:49Speaker 3: perch as the head of the Justice Department and teased
- 4:53Speaker 3: her new private sector role where she will continue fighting
- 4:57Speaker 3: for President Trump. She put with this out on next
- 5:01Speaker 3: saying quote, leading President Trump's historic and highly successful efforts
- 5:05Speaker 3: to make America safer and more secure has been the
- 5:08Speaker 3: honor of lifetime and easily the most consequential first year
- 5:12Speaker 3: of the Department of Justice in American history. I remain
- 5:16Speaker 3: internally grateful for the trust that President Trump placed in
- 5:21Speaker 3: me to make America safe again.
- 5:23Speaker 6: Now.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Trump's decision to axe Bondi came weeks after making the
- 5:27Speaker 3: first cabinet level firing of his administration. That is where
- 5:30Speaker 3: he terminated the former Secretary of Homeland Security, Christy Nome,
- 5:34Speaker 3: who is now serving a Special Envoy to the Shield
- 5:37Speaker 3: of the Americas. Bondi is getting a new private sector role,
- 5:42Speaker 3: is what she said, where she will be allied with
- 5:45Speaker 3: the administration, but details of that position are not fully
- 5:48Speaker 3: clear at this moment. In the meantime, Trump is tapped
- 5:52Speaker 3: a Deputy Attorney General, Todd Blanch to serve as interim
- 5:55Speaker 3: ag while he decides on a permanent replacement. The name
- 6:00Speaker 3: that I'm hearing the most right now is the EPA
- 6:03Speaker 3: administrator Lee Zelden. Apparently he is seriously considering looking at
- 6:08Speaker 3: him for the job. Bonnie also added on x this,
- 6:13Speaker 3: I will be working tirelessly to transition the office of
- 6:16Speaker 3: Attorney General to the amazing Todd Blanche before moving to
- 6:19Speaker 3: an important private sector role I'm thrilled about and where
- 6:22Speaker 3: I will continue to fight for President Trump and this
- 6:26Speaker 3: administration now. President Trump told Pam Bondi in person on
- 6:31Speaker 3: Wednesday that she was on the outs. The source had
- 6:35Speaker 3: told The Post that conversation took place after the two
- 6:38Speaker 3: attended the Supreme Court's oral arguments in the birthright citizenship
- 6:42Speaker 3: case earlier in the day. Bondi, who served as the
- 6:46Speaker 3: Florida Attorney General from twenty eleven through twenty nineteen. It
- 6:50Speaker 3: was a key ally of Trump in the twenty twenty
- 6:53Speaker 3: election aftermath, has been the President's second choice to howme
- 6:56Speaker 3: the DOJ after Representative Matt Gates's true She quickly faced
- 7:02Speaker 3: controversy after claiming on Fox News last February that a
- 7:06Speaker 3: list of late sex predator Jeffrey Epstein's clients was sitting
- 7:11Speaker 3: on my desk right now to review later. MAGA influencers
- 7:16Speaker 3: are welcome to the White House and given those binders
- 7:19Speaker 3: that were titled the Epstein Files Phase one. White House
- 7:23Speaker 3: Chief of Staff Susie Wilds later told Vanny Fair in
- 7:26Speaker 3: an interview last year that Bonnie completely whiffed the Epstein situation,
- 7:32Speaker 3: chiding that there is no client list and it's sure
- 7:36Speaker 3: as hell wasn't on her desk. Again, that coming from
- 7:40Speaker 3: the White House Chief of Staff, and that is where
- 7:43Speaker 3: the turmoil really began. Key allies of the President, such
- 7:47Speaker 3: as Laura Lumer publicly and privately pushed Trump to get
- 7:51Speaker 3: Bonni the boot after firing. Several Republicans in Congress, such
- 7:55Speaker 3: as Representative Nancy Mace cheered Trump, who famously had a
- 8:00Speaker 3: falling out with the ags of his first term Jeff
- 8:03Speaker 3: Sessions and Bill Barr, appeared frustrated with the DJ's lackluster
- 8:07Speaker 3: attempts to prosecute some of his political foes. Is what
- 8:11Speaker 3: many in the media are also trying to spend this
- 8:14Speaker 3: ass Now, let me be clear, a lot of this
- 8:16Speaker 3: really did come down to the Epstein Files. Trey Goudie,
- 8:20Speaker 3: talking on Fox News Channel had this to say about it.
- 8:25Speaker 5: Todd will do a great job, and I know the
- 8:27Speaker 5: President thinks highly of him.
- 8:29Speaker 6: She obviously had some dusk stops up on Capitol Hill
- 8:32Speaker 6: numerous times whenever she went up there to testify. Here
- 8:35Speaker 6: she is versus GOP lawmakers. I moved that the Committee
- 8:39Speaker 6: issue a subpoena to the Honorable Pamela Joe Bondi to
- 8:42Speaker 6: apear before the Committee for a deposition regarding the department's
- 8:45Speaker 6: handling of the investigation to Jeffrey Epstein.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Within forty minutes, Wexter's name was added back.
- 8:52Speaker 6: Within forty minutes of me catching you red handed, nobody
- 8:56Speaker 6: on our side is defending pam Bondy. Okay, sue that
- 9:00Speaker 6: what built up do you think that handling early on
- 9:04Speaker 6: of Epstein? I know you say she's not tied to it,
- 9:06Speaker 6: but how it was handled early on?
- 9:08Speaker 5: Yeah, but it wasn't just her bred I mean, how
- 9:10Speaker 5: many different podcasters and other folks promised us all this
- 9:15Speaker 5: information on Jeffrey Epstein, and those of us that actually
- 9:19Speaker 5: were prosecutors were sitting there thinking, you've had three opportunities.
- 9:23Speaker 5: You had Florida, you had Maxwell before she was convicted,
- 9:27Speaker 5: and you had Epstein before he killed himself. So where
- 9:31Speaker 5: are the co conspirators? The problem was whenever you And
- 9:37Speaker 5: it wasn't just Pam. There are other members of this
- 9:39Speaker 5: administration that wrote checks with their mouths that the rest
- 9:42Speaker 5: of their body couldn't catch. Now you played a clip
- 9:45Speaker 5: from somebody who's running for governor in South Carolina. I mean,
- 9:49Speaker 5: why would you subpoena a Republican attorney general when all
- 9:53Speaker 5: you have to do is what I did this morning,
- 9:55Speaker 5: call her on the phone. So she was a victim,
- 9:57Speaker 5: a little bit of other people's ambition light now a victim,
- 10:01Speaker 5: a little bit of getting out over her skis. But
- 10:06Speaker 5: let's be allus. When did we start releasing files?
- 10:09Speaker 4: Brett?
- 10:10Speaker 5: I mean, I haven't seen the Matt Gates file, have you.
- 10:13Speaker 5: I haven't seen the job in a Ramsey file. When
- 10:15Speaker 5: did we start releasing files?
- 10:17Speaker 3: One thing is sure, it's the president said it was
- 10:20Speaker 3: time for someone new. Pam BONDI will go to the
- 10:23Speaker 3: private sector, she said, and support the president. What will
- 10:26Speaker 3: be very interesting to see is who gets the job now,
- 10:29Speaker 3: and we expect that to come very shortly. And when
- 10:32Speaker 3: that name is named, we'll give it to you.
