- 2:15Speaker 8: I'm okay. I'll tell you who I am in a
- 2:17Speaker 8: little bit. You know, I get around. Man, it's so much.
- 2:20Speaker 8: But man, good morning everybody. You know today. I was
- 2:26Speaker 8: having a conversation with my wife last night and we
- 2:29Speaker 8: were talking about our plans. You know, we often sit down,
- 2:34Speaker 8: you know, just like a married couple. I mean, you know,
- 2:36Speaker 8: you know we're married. You know, we have children, we
- 2:38Speaker 8: have aspirations, we have hopes, we will I mean know,
- 2:42Speaker 8: we have things we want. You know, when you're married,
- 2:44Speaker 8: you know, I mean it's important to sit with your partner.
- 2:47Speaker 8: I'm not telling you anything you don't know it's common sense. Really.
- 2:51Speaker 8: It's important to sit down with the person that you've
- 2:54Speaker 8: chosen and decided to share your life with it and
- 2:57Speaker 8: have multiple conversations on a lot of things. And we
- 3:00Speaker 8: try to make sure that all of our conversations aren't
- 3:04Speaker 8: always just business related and always kid related, you know,
- 3:09Speaker 8: because that that becomes it's a part of it. But
- 3:14Speaker 8: it weighs so much on the marriage that because that's
- 3:18Speaker 8: the grunt work of being married. You know, your children,
- 3:21Speaker 8: your family, your bills, your your mortgage, your your car notes,
- 3:26Speaker 8: you know the what's due, what's coming up, and if
- 3:31Speaker 8: you're not careful, you'll you'll start that becomes the focal
- 3:36Speaker 8: point of you all's conversation. And this woman or man
- 3:40Speaker 8: or person that you've decided to have this life with,
- 3:43Speaker 8: all of a sudden, they're an extension of your business
- 3:47Speaker 8: and you guys become business partners or whatever and and
- 3:52Speaker 8: just get so anywhere. I'm just saying that that is
- 3:54Speaker 8: important to sit down and have these conversations, but it's
- 3:58Speaker 8: even more important to have of the other conversation. You know,
- 4:02Speaker 8: it's important with the person that you're planning on making
- 4:05Speaker 8: the run with to sit down and talk about other things,
- 4:08Speaker 8: you know, on a more upbeat note. You know, we
- 4:12Speaker 8: were having a conversation and she was reminding me of
- 4:16Speaker 8: what she loved about me, and then I, in turn,
- 4:20Speaker 8: was turned around telling her the things that I admired
- 4:24Speaker 8: about her and loved about her. And we kind of
- 4:27Speaker 8: have these all the time, you know, when we sit
- 4:29Speaker 8: down and we talk about the things that we still
- 4:33Speaker 8: enjoy about one another, or we may talk about some
- 4:36Speaker 8: of the things that we miss in one another, but
- 4:38Speaker 8: we constantly have these conversations about appreciation. You know, it's
- 4:43Speaker 8: so important, man, that the other person feels appreciated. So
- 4:48Speaker 8: these things important. But we got into the conversation deeper
- 4:51Speaker 8: last night, and I was telling her about this idea
- 4:55Speaker 8: that I had and that I wanted her to help
- 4:58Speaker 8: me with and make a phone call for me because
- 5:01Speaker 8: she knows these people, and I was going to be
- 5:03Speaker 8: doing this, and then my wife reminded me of something
- 5:07Speaker 8: not once again. You know, as always, you know, when
- 5:10Speaker 8: I'm talking to you, I just keep it as real
- 5:12Speaker 8: as I can. I don't know the Bible inside out.
- 5:16Speaker 8: I can't quote to you scriptures and tell you exactly
- 5:18Speaker 8: where it is. I just you know, I heard her
- 5:21Speaker 8: say it but it kind of blew by me. I
- 5:25Speaker 8: was telling her about something I wanted to make happen,
- 5:27Speaker 8: and she reminded me that there's a scripture somewhere, and
- 5:31Speaker 8: somebody emailed it to me today. I'm sure. Well, the
- 5:34Speaker 8: Bible reminds us not to be anxious for anything. Don't
- 5:38Speaker 8: be anxious for something. And you know, it really mattered
- 5:43Speaker 8: to me at that point yesterday that she brought this
- 5:45Speaker 8: to my attention, because how many times I've been guilty
- 5:49Speaker 8: of that in my past and I've learned better now,
- 5:52Speaker 8: but every now and then I need to be reminded,
- 5:55Speaker 8: you know. And I think that what she was saying
- 5:59Speaker 8: to me was us. You know, I've gotten to a
- 6:01Speaker 8: point in my life and we all should get to
- 6:04Speaker 8: a point where. You know, you've heard old people say this,
- 6:08Speaker 8: if you're gonna pray about something, then don't worry about it,
- 6:11Speaker 8: And if you're gonna worry about it, don't pray about it.
- 6:15Speaker 8: Back to this, be anxious for nothing, don't. If you're
- 6:19Speaker 8: going to trust in God, then't do that. And trusting
- 6:24Speaker 8: in him means sometimes you got to be patient. God
- 6:30Speaker 8: has never been too late. You don't know the plan
- 6:34Speaker 8: he has you don't know. You don't really always know
- 6:36Speaker 8: his will. You definitely don't know his route, his way
- 6:40Speaker 8: of doing anything. So he's always on time. He's always
- 6:44Speaker 8: been there on time for me. He's always been there
- 6:47Speaker 8: on time for you. How many times have you thought
- 6:50Speaker 8: it was over only to find out it's really just begun.
- 6:55Speaker 9: How many times have people wrote you off? There are
- 7:00Speaker 9: those of you who have lost jobs, but you are
- 7:04Speaker 9: still maintaining. But man, God has already began to turn
- 7:09Speaker 9: around process for many of us. Some of us lost
- 7:13Speaker 9: jobs and now have better jobs. Some of us lost
- 7:17Speaker 9: jobs and now has forced us to rekindle that dream
- 7:21Speaker 9: and that vision for business we had. Sometimes the mishap
- 7:26Speaker 9: is the thing you need to make something good happen.
- 7:30Speaker 9: See a lot of times we get so comfortable in
- 7:33Speaker 9: our life where we.
- 7:35Speaker 8: Just we get complacent. We just settled in and when
- 7:40Speaker 8: this is it and this is what I'm doing. But
- 7:42Speaker 8: in actuality, God has a tremendous amount of abundance for you.
- 7:47Speaker 8: He has an amazing amount of things. He has all
- 7:49Speaker 8: these boxes packaged up with your name on him that
- 7:53Speaker 8: he's willing to ship if you would just align yourself
- 7:58Speaker 8: with some of his wills. So you could get some
- 8:00Speaker 8: of these things. How many times have you thought it
- 8:03Speaker 8: was over and it didn't really go over. How many
- 8:06Speaker 8: times have you thought have well, this is it and
- 8:09Speaker 8: it wasn't it at all. Well, how many times do
- 8:11Speaker 8: you thought, well, it don't look like this gonna work out,
- 8:14Speaker 8: and it didn't work out, but then something better came along?
- 8:18Speaker 8: How many times has that happened? You've got to realize this. Man.
- 8:22Speaker 8: I was talking to a family who had got displaced
- 8:25Speaker 8: from the Katrina thing that happened down there in New Orleans.
- 8:29Speaker 8: And Man, when they said, yeah, we got a displaced
- 8:32Speaker 8: from Katrina, and I braced myself because, oh woe is me?
- 8:36Speaker 8: Here comes this story. I gotta hear this, and I
- 8:38Speaker 8: gotta be encouraged and think of something. It was totally different.
- 8:41Speaker 8: They totally totally blew me away. Man. The brother said, Man,
- 8:47Speaker 8: is actually the best thing that ever happened to my family.
- 8:50Speaker 8: And I went whoa? And he said, yeah, man, he said,
- 8:53Speaker 8: because what happened was he said, I got settled in.
- 8:57Speaker 8: He said, Plus, I was doing some things outside of
- 9:01Speaker 8: my marriage down there, He said, I was doing some
- 9:03Speaker 8: stuff in the streets I ain't need to be doing.
- 9:05Speaker 8: He said, man, it all got washed away. We thought
- 9:08Speaker 8: our life would never be the same. But he said, man,
- 9:10Speaker 8: my life ain't need to be the same. He said, Man.
- 9:14Speaker 8: Now we live up here in Texas. We got a house,
- 9:17Speaker 8: don't know nobody, he said, I ain't got nobody I
- 9:20Speaker 8: know to get into trouble with. He said, Man, I
- 9:22Speaker 8: done rediscovered my wife, how beautiful she really is, how
- 9:25Speaker 8: much my family really was counting on me. And he said, man,
- 9:28Speaker 8: it straightened me up. Man, he said, so, I gotta
- 9:31Speaker 8: tell you, Steve, it was the best thing that ever
- 9:33Speaker 8: happened to me. Now that's not always the case, but
- 9:37Speaker 8: it's how you look at a situation. But just don't
- 9:40Speaker 8: be anxious for anything, because God got a fix for
- 9:43Speaker 8: you if you just let him work. So just stay
- 9:46Speaker 8: on course, stay focused, don't lose faith, don't be anxious. Man,
- 9:51Speaker 8: just stay in the wheel. Let God work with you.
- 9:55Speaker 8: He got some great stuff in the store for you.
- 9:57Speaker 10: You're listening morning show ladies and Jimmy ballplayers, attorneys, secret admirers,

- 10:26Speaker 8: people of the night. This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:31Speaker 8: We are starting it with gratitude, realizing that without God
- 10:36Speaker 8: we will be nothing, absolutely nothing. Know that, Understand that.
- 10:43Speaker 8: Put that in your put that in your plate. Chew
- 10:45Speaker 8: it up, swallow it. Steve hartin Morning to show everybody,

- 10:59Speaker 11: Hey, let me let me ask you some unc. I'm
- 11:01Speaker 11: trying to have a talk with my nephew. I don't
- 11:03Speaker 11: think it went well. Uh you know he at the
- 11:05Speaker 11: age he got a.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Call, Yeah, starting to pick up girls? Yeah, how is
- 11:11Speaker 2: he twenty two? Okay, go ahead, Yeah, he starting to
- 11:15Speaker 2: pick up girls?
- 11:16Speaker 11: And uh, you know, uh, my mom asked me to
- 11:19Speaker 11: have a talk with him because, you know, some other
- 11:22Speaker 11: thing happened.
- 11:22Speaker 1: So she said, could you talk to him about the.
- 11:24Speaker 8: Birds and the bees? Uh?
- 11:27Speaker 11: Yeah, Well he ain't that type of kid, but I've
- 11:30Speaker 11: tried to talk to him about the birds and the bees.
- 11:32Speaker 11: I said, listen, let me tell you about the birds
- 11:33Speaker 11: and the bees. He said, I don't like bees. They
- 11:35Speaker 11: staying my hand got swolled two weeks ago. I said,
- 11:37Speaker 11: this ain't to kind of talk I'm talking about. I'm
- 11:39Speaker 11: not talking about bees. So this is not going well
- 11:43Speaker 11: at all. I don't even know why I try. So
- 11:46Speaker 11: we're safe on that because my worried about him, you know,
- 11:49Speaker 11: bringing young girls over there late at night and something happening.
- 11:52Speaker 8: You can pretty much right now, Yes, sir, did we

- 21:12Speaker 5: show on Amazon Prime. Actor Michael J. Fox said, if
- 21:16Speaker 5: you became a celebrity in the eighties, you were tougher
- 21:19Speaker 5: than today's celebrities. And the nephew has a big announcement
- 21:23Speaker 5: for us. Yeah, he said it. Big announcement. We can't
- 21:25Speaker 5: wait for that. That's all coming up at the top
- 21:28Speaker 5: of the hour. But right now it is time to
- 21:31Speaker 5: ask the clo. This is from Dana in Roanoke. Dana writes,
- 21:36Speaker 5: I work a part time job at a grocery store.
- 21:39Speaker 5: My son is my boss, and he knows I'm slower
- 21:42Speaker 5: than the other kids that work for him. He shows
- 21:45Speaker 5: me no grace or favor because of my age. He
- 21:49Speaker 5: said he has to do that. Well, does he really
- 21:52Speaker 5: should I go find another job?
- 21:54Speaker 8: Yeah? Yeah? What is the job she has?
- 21:57Speaker 2: Does she say that?
- 21:58Speaker 8: No, she didn't say, but buts than other kids? Mm hmm,
- 22:06Speaker 8: she's yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's on a computer.
- 22:09Speaker 2: That's yeah.
- 22:11Speaker 8: They looking stuff up, googling, and you know it's probably
- 22:15Speaker 8: a tech position. Yeah yeah, you probably be job now.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:22Speaker 8: She need to be somewhere like that, you know, counting,
- 22:24Speaker 8: can food stuff like that.
- 22:26Speaker 2: You need job at grocery stuff.
- 22:28Speaker 1: But what is he saying to his mom though grocery store?
- 22:32Speaker 8: Mom, you need a job at the grocery store. You
- 22:34Speaker 8: need to be somewhere count can pack your bag, something
- 22:37Speaker 8: like that, you know, manual label, just thinking stuff. Answer
- 22:40Speaker 8: you because these kids are flowing right by you. Know,
- 22:43Speaker 8: and you're pretty much slower in my whole company down.
- 22:46Speaker 8: Matter of fact, if MoMA wann't you gonna sit at
- 22:48Speaker 8: the house and I'll just see you, I'm.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Gonna see.
- 22:54Speaker 8: But here though you ain't gotta work. I'm gonna send
- 22:55Speaker 8: your check moment just going to the house, to the
- 22:57Speaker 8: I'm gonna send you your check to the house. You
- 23:00Speaker 8: ain't got to come down here. Don't tell anybody else.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Wow, he's ashamed of his mom.
- 23:08Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, stay at house all right.
- 23:13Speaker 5: Moving on to Wayne and Glendale, Wayne says an old
- 23:17Speaker 5: friend was in town, so I stopped by her hotel
- 23:20Speaker 5: and had breakfast with her before work. My wife called
- 23:24Speaker 5: and I told her exactly where I was. She hung up,
- 23:28Speaker 5: and she hasn't spoken to me in days. Why be honest,
- 23:32Speaker 5: if this is how she's acting, exactly, I exactly, I
- 23:39Speaker 5: be damn. Just because you're honest doesn't mean people aren't
- 23:43Speaker 5: gonna get mad. They still want to know the truth.
- 23:49Speaker 5: What Yeah, they still want to know the truth. She
- 23:51Speaker 5: she she wants to hear the truth, but it doesn't
- 23:55Speaker 5: mean she's not to get mad.
- 23:58Speaker 8: No, no, no, no, no no. Why when she called him,
- 24:02Speaker 8: did he tell her exactly what an old friend of
- 24:05Speaker 8: mine stopped into town. An old friend of mine is
- 24:10Speaker 8: in town. I stopped by to see her at her hotel. Well, now,
- 24:16Speaker 8: number one, how did you know she was coming to town?
- 24:21Speaker 2: Number two? How did you know where she was?
- 24:24Speaker 8: Dead? And number three? Why is your ass over there?
- 24:28Speaker 4: Yes?
- 24:29Speaker 8: And the big one is the hell you telling me?
- 24:32Speaker 8: That fault with your stupid behind. See, women prove to
- 24:37Speaker 8: you why the truth ain't necessary all. It's no way
- 24:41Speaker 8: I would pick that phone and tell my wife that
- 24:44Speaker 8: it's no what.
- 24:45Speaker 1: What would you have said? What would you where you're there?
- 24:48Speaker 5: But what would you have told your wife?
- 24:51Speaker 2: I'm down at the country club in Finish Tea.
- 24:56Speaker 5: That's it, that's it.
- 25:00Speaker 8: As a matter of fact, I'll put myself so far
- 25:02Speaker 8: away from a hotel and women. I'm down at the
- 25:06Speaker 8: country club. I'm fitling tall. I just got out the car.
- 25:14Speaker 8: I'm walking this store. I'm finished picked up some stuff
- 25:16Speaker 8: while I come home anywhere. I'm walking into the gym
- 25:23Speaker 8: right now. I decided to come down here and get
- 25:25Speaker 8: a little work out in. There's no way I'm telling
- 25:28Speaker 8: my wife. An old friend of mine came into town.
- 25:30Speaker 8: I'm in her hotel room.
- 25:32Speaker 5: Would you have been there in the first place though, Well, no,
- 25:36Speaker 5: that ain't the questions my question.
- 25:39Speaker 7: Now you asked, you don't have to ask. My client
- 25:44Speaker 7: does not have to answer that.
- 25:45Speaker 5: You don't you're attorney. Would you have been over there
- 25:50Speaker 5: at her hotel having breakfast with her in the first
- 25:53Speaker 5: place so you wouldn't learn it?
- 25:55Speaker 8: My attorney has.
- 26:00Speaker 1: And you are full of it.
- 26:01Speaker 5: Okay, Moving on to Tudy in Valdosta, Tudy says, I
- 26:07Speaker 5: met a man online and I really like him, but I.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Can't stand his hair.
- 26:12Speaker 5: He has a high top fade and it's sticky and wet,
- 26:14Speaker 5: like a Jerry curl without the curls. Do I throw
- 26:17Speaker 5: him away because of his hair? Or do I tell
- 26:20Speaker 5: him he needs a good haircut and degreasing.
- 26:24Speaker 8: No, no, no, no no no. First of all, if
- 26:27Speaker 8: you really like him, make sure that he likes you,
- 26:31Speaker 8: and it slowly, for surely bring it up. You need
- 26:37Speaker 8: a decreasing and all that slowly for sure might take
- 26:40Speaker 8: you some time to get I don't know, you know,
- 26:43Speaker 8: but it takes time, you know.
- 26:46Speaker 5: So I mean you're saying she should say something eventually.
- 26:50Speaker 5: Just don't crush him right away.
- 26:52Speaker 8: You know, like with little stuff like like okay, like
- 26:55Speaker 8: what let's say let's say they dating in this summer.
- 26:59Speaker 8: You know, you see a cute little straw hat that
- 27:02Speaker 8: will look good on hat, Buy the straw hat. There's
- 27:12Speaker 8: just little things you could do to kind make But baby,
- 27:15Speaker 8: it's high tops. You don't don't about to do that
- 27:16Speaker 8: at the moment. Cut it down a little bit. Oh
- 27:19Speaker 8: look at this.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Hand back on that hat.
- 27:22Speaker 5: I'm gonna take a hand.
- 27:24Speaker 8: I'm gonna give you something.
- 27:25Speaker 2: He gonna cut his hat down.
- 27:27Speaker 5: Oh yeah, makes some change. What about the Jerry curl?
- 27:35Speaker 8: The Greek were gonna we're gonna do it that that
- 27:37Speaker 8: you know, it's just greasy light. He just got the
- 27:39Speaker 8: wrong hair product in his hair. You know, he could
- 27:45Speaker 8: be old school. Maybe that's ultra seed. You know, he
- 27:48Speaker 8: get everything all there could be that whole line of
- 27:51Speaker 8: Ultrachine Bergermont, you know over hur.
- 27:56Speaker 6: Whole train.
- 27:58Speaker 8: Oh lasses, you don't know. You just got to bring

- 28:15Speaker 5: husband stopped wearing his band, meaning his wedding dance. He
- 28:19Speaker 5: said his hands got bigger and it's too tight.
- 28:21Speaker 8: Now.
- 28:22Speaker 5: I suggested he get the ring re sized, but he
- 28:25Speaker 5: won't do it. Is he not wearing it on purpose?
- 28:29Speaker 5: She wants to know.
- 28:30Speaker 8: Well, he not wearing it Accident't what you mean? Is
- 28:35Speaker 8: he wearing it? Don't not wearing it on purpose? Yes,
- 28:38Speaker 8: he's not wearing it on purpose. His hands cad get bigger.
- 28:41Speaker 8: You know, he probably got inflammation.
- 28:44Speaker 5: But he won't go down there and get it resized.
- 28:47Speaker 7: Well, it's hard to make a ring bigger. All of
- 28:50Speaker 7: our hands have gotten bigger since since then wedding.
- 28:53Speaker 8: Day, all of them.
- 28:55Speaker 12: So did you get in that ring indentation on my head?
- 29:00Speaker 12: I was saying, from wearing your rings? Yeah, but what

- 29:50Speaker 5: Do you think it'll be a smooth transition for Kelsey
- 29:53Speaker 5: from tight end to game show host? Steve? What you think?

- 32:37Speaker 5: We appreciate it and we love this. Thank ye yes,
- 32:43Speaker 5: all right, well, moving on, this might be debatable. In
- 32:46Speaker 5: a recent interview with People, actor Michael J. Fox said
- 32:50Speaker 5: that celebrities that became famous in the nineteen eighties were
- 32:54Speaker 5: tougher than present day celebrities in regard to being famous
- 32:58Speaker 5: back then, I said, well, you had to be talented.
- 33:03Speaker 5: That helped. We were tougher. We didn't have social media,
- 33:07Speaker 5: we didn't have any of that crap. We were just famous,
- 33:10Speaker 5: left to our own resources, and it was an amazing time.
- 33:15Speaker 5: So she, having been a celebrity a very long time,
- 33:17Speaker 5: do you agree with him that celebrities back then, back.
- 33:20Speaker 8: In the day I started in eighty five, I wasn't
- 33:24Speaker 8: really a celebrity in eighty five. I just got started,
- 33:29Speaker 8: so I would I didn't experience being a celebrity. Well,
- 33:32Speaker 8: I started building thinking about it, but I didn't really
- 33:35Speaker 8: started being a celebrity. My first taste of celebrity was
- 33:40Speaker 8: a showtime to the Apollo.
- 33:41Speaker 11: That was the first love love it was.
- 33:48Speaker 8: It was It was very light then compared to now,
- 33:52Speaker 8: and there was no social media. That weren't no phone cans,
- 33:56Speaker 8: you know, so you know it was just different, man, Yeah.
- 34:00Speaker 5: Ask you this was it was he shading when he said,
- 34:02Speaker 5: first of all, you had to have talent. Was that
- 34:04Speaker 5: some shade?
- 34:08Speaker 9: No?
- 34:09Speaker 8: No, I mean really, you know, it's just like music.
- 34:12Speaker 8: I mean, it's just like music.
- 34:14Speaker 2: You know.
- 34:14Speaker 8: Back in the day, you had to really be able
- 34:16Speaker 8: to sing.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Man, you really had to have talent.
- 34:18Speaker 8: Well, now they got all the tunes, they got all
- 34:21Speaker 8: these algorithms they put on you and they start then
- 34:24Speaker 8: all these one hit wonders. Man, your ass had to
- 34:27Speaker 8: have it back then. Yeah.
- 34:29Speaker 1: That's because of YouTube.
- 34:31Speaker 8: And uh Facebook and and and and live. YouTube got
- 34:37Speaker 8: live Facebook Live, you got everybody got a TV show now,
- 34:40Speaker 8: you know what I mean? People got podcasts because they
- 34:42Speaker 8: think they should have a TV show, Which how many
- 34:46Speaker 8: people don't need a damn.
- 34:47Speaker 2: TV show on.
- 34:51Speaker 8: Siously, man's it's horrible out there if you look at
- 34:54Speaker 8: the landscape. Yeah, I got a podcast, damn ain't they
- 34:58Speaker 8: got that thing on every phone that looks trying on
- 35:00Speaker 8: every phone. Anybody can have a podcast, it's it's very
- 35:04Speaker 8: few good podcasts.
- 35:08Speaker 2: It's very few.
- 35:09Speaker 8: And then it is exposed how people try to get
- 35:15Speaker 8: their fame by shading somebody else. All these all these
- 35:20Speaker 8: podcasts with all this negative content. You think that's the way.
- 35:24Speaker 8: I don't know, did not Wendy Williams teach y'all nothing.
- 35:31Speaker 2: There you have?
- 35:31Speaker 8: Man? All right?
- 35:34Speaker 5: All right, so Michael J. Fox may have something. Man,
- 35:37Speaker 5: they were tough.
- 35:38Speaker 9: Man.
- 35:38Speaker 8: If you male version of Wendy Willis, I just be
- 35:42Speaker 8: looking at you, like, man, what you doing? You gotta
- 35:47Speaker 8: do it on Friday. You're gonna go and do it
- 35:49Speaker 8: on Friday.
- 35:49Speaker 3: You got your own podcast, all right, gonna do it.
- 36:00Speaker 8: All right?
- 36:00Speaker 5: Coming up in twenty minutes after, imagine getting a job
- 36:03Speaker 5: as a pro basketball player and the team's mascot. The
- 36:06Speaker 5: mascot makes more money than you. We'll talk about it
- 36:09Speaker 5: right after this.
- 36:11Speaker 1: You're listening the Hardy Morning Show, all right.
- 36:14Speaker 5: As you guys may have heard, Caitlin Clark was the
- 36:17Speaker 5: number one pick in the WNBA draft and she'll be
- 36:19Speaker 5: playing for the Indiana Fever. Okay, congratulations to Caitlin Clark.
- 36:23Speaker 5: But what shocked everybody was her salary for playing professional basketball.
- 36:29Speaker 5: Three hundred and thirty eight thousand, fifty six dollars for
- 36:33Speaker 5: four years.
- 36:34Speaker 1: Okay, that's over a four year period.
- 36:36Speaker 5: This breaks down to seventy six a little over seventy
- 36:39Speaker 5: six thousand dollars in twenty twenty four. This year, seventy eight.
- 36:43Speaker 5: It goes up to seventy eight next year, then in
- 36:45Speaker 5: twenty twenty six eighty five thousand, then in twenty twenty
- 36:50Speaker 5: seven over ninety seven thousand dollars a year. Now consider
- 36:54Speaker 5: this the NBA mail players. We all know they make
- 36:57Speaker 5: more money, but they earn an average andnnual salary of
- 37:01Speaker 5: over ten million dollars annually. Ten million dollars. This is
- 37:05Speaker 5: for the men the NBA. And to make it worse,
- 37:10Speaker 5: that's average. That's average, though, Tommy. And to make it worse,
- 37:13Speaker 5: the mascots, the mascots of the NBA teams make a
- 37:18Speaker 5: lot more per year than w w NBA players. The
- 37:22Speaker 5: Denver Nuggets mascot, for instance, earns six hundred and twenty
- 37:26Speaker 5: five thousand dollars a year.
- 37:31Speaker 3: Sell insulting church stands.
- 37:38Speaker 5: Okay, all right, The mascot for the Atlanta Hawks six
- 37:44Speaker 5: hundred thousand dollars a year.
- 37:46Speaker 2: Come on, boy, Chicago right there, that's how you.
- 37:50Speaker 5: Holp Chicago Bulls mascot annually four hundred grand a year.
- 38:00Speaker 5: So what are we saying here? This is this is
- 38:02Speaker 5: a mess. Talk about this horrible, yes, But but on
- 38:07Speaker 5: the brighter side.
- 38:11Speaker 8: I'm gonna say it again. Listen to me. Women's basketball
- 38:16Speaker 8: is great to watch, but you have to put more
- 38:21Speaker 8: bodies in those stands so that you can get more
- 38:26Speaker 8: TV rights and you can have more viewership. And women
- 38:30Speaker 8: have got to support women athletics. This is on you.
- 38:36Speaker 8: Guys are going to the game. We're going to see
- 38:40Speaker 8: men play, You're going to see women.
- 38:43Speaker 5: Do guys see women play?
- 38:45Speaker 4: No?
- 38:46Speaker 8: Everybody, no, no, because it's two different games we're watching.
- 38:52Speaker 8: But women should support women athletics. I don't. I don't
- 38:56Speaker 8: see why that's a hard ask. I really don't. The
- 39:00Speaker 8: more women in this world than now are men go
- 39:03Speaker 8: to the games and.
- 39:04Speaker 5: Women watch, then they make more money and get more
- 39:07Speaker 5: TV exposure and all of that.
- 39:09Speaker 8: If women want more pay in this sports world, you've
- 39:12Speaker 8: got to support your team. That's all it is. Just
- 39:16Speaker 8: go to the game.
- 39:18Speaker 2: By ticket, go to the game.
- 39:19Speaker 5: Go to the but the bus well anyway, I was
- 39:22Speaker 5: gonna say that Kaitlyn, Kaitlyn Clark does have sponsorship deals
- 39:25Speaker 5: worth three million with Nike State Farmyar Block coming up
- 39:29Speaker 5: in thirty four minutes after the hour. Roscoe Wallace will
- 39:32Speaker 5: be in the building right after this.
- 39:34Speaker 1: You're listening Hard Morning Show.
- 39:38Speaker 5: All right, you see him. He's here, the one and
- 39:42Speaker 5: only Roscoe Colin take it away.
- 39:47Speaker 8: We're going on it?
- 39:48Speaker 2: Who going away?
- 39:49Speaker 5: Should it?
- 39:50Speaker 6: Hey?
- 39:50Speaker 5: Roscoe?

- 54:18Speaker 5: it could be yours.
- 54:19Speaker 7: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 54:21Speaker 7: We got it for you here. It is strawberry letter.
- 54:24Speaker 5: Thank you nephew. Subject he doesn't want me to be
- 54:27Speaker 5: with his brother. Dear Stephen Shirley. My husband and I
- 54:31Speaker 5: live in a duplex and his brother and the brother's girlfriend.
- 54:34Speaker 1: Live next to us.
- 54:35Speaker 5: I don't get along with a girlfriend, and she knows
- 54:38Speaker 5: she will never be welcomed in my house. My husband's
- 54:42Speaker 5: brother and I are the same age. We're forty six.
- 54:45Speaker 5: My husband is fifty eight and he has problems with
- 54:48Speaker 5: sleep apnea, so he's been sleeping with a sea pat
- 54:51Speaker 5: machine to help him sleep at night because of it.
- 54:55Speaker 1: I don't have a lot of sex.
- 54:56Speaker 5: With my husband. I have it with his brother ind instead.
- 55:00Speaker 5: He gives me all of the great sex that I
- 55:03Speaker 5: want and need, and we don't even have to sneak
- 55:05Speaker 5: around to do it. He comes over after my husband
- 55:08Speaker 5: falls asleep and the sounds of his sleep machine drown
- 55:11Speaker 5: out any sounds we're making in the next room. We
- 55:14Speaker 5: are usually able to make love two or three times
- 55:17Speaker 5: a night, once or twice a week. My husband sleeps
- 55:21Speaker 5: right through it all, and I wake up happy and fulfilled.
- 55:25Speaker 5: The girlfriend doesn't suspect a thing because her man is
- 55:28Speaker 5: at his brother's house. The only issue that I'm having
- 55:32Speaker 5: with this love triangle is that my husband's brother doesn't
- 55:35Speaker 5: want me to have sex with my husband anymore. We
- 55:38Speaker 5: had a talk and he was serious about that. I
- 55:41Speaker 5: told him that I have to be intimate with my
- 55:43Speaker 5: husband too, or he'll know something's not right. So what's
- 55:47Speaker 5: crazy is I have to sneak to have sex with
- 55:50Speaker 5: a man I'm married, but I can freely have sex
- 55:53Speaker 5: with his brother. Make it make sense? He has threatened
- 55:57Speaker 5: to end our affair. Does his brother have the right
- 56:00Speaker 5: to be jealous? Does this sound crazy to you? What
- 56:03Speaker 5: should I do here?
- 56:05Speaker 1: Does this sound crazy to you?
- 56:08Speaker 4: No?
- 56:08Speaker 5: No, no, this sounds perfectly sane and sensible to me.
- 56:13Speaker 5: Perfectly you and your brother in law having sex in
- 56:16Speaker 5: your house, right under your husband's nose. What's crazy about
- 56:19Speaker 5: that your brother in law doesn't want you to have
- 56:22Speaker 5: sex with his brother, your husband anymore, just with him. Nope,
- 56:26Speaker 5: still doesn't sound crazy to me. Your brother in law
- 56:30Speaker 5: is threatening to stop your affair if you don't stop
- 56:33Speaker 5: having sex with your own husband. Well, doesn't every brother
- 56:37Speaker 5: who's sleeping with his brother's wife want this? I mean, really, Okay,
- 56:42Speaker 5: I'm being sarcastic here, of course, because I want you
- 56:45Speaker 5: to hear how ridiculous this sounds. We are to believe
- 56:49Speaker 5: that because your husband sleeps with a seapap machine, you're
- 56:52Speaker 5: having sex with his brother. You never once said your
- 56:56Speaker 5: husband wasn't a good husband. You never said he doesn't
- 56:59Speaker 5: love you. You never even said you don't love your husband.
- 57:02Speaker 5: Your husband's not cheating, nothing like that. I guess you're
- 57:06Speaker 5: sleeping with his brother because you can, because he's right
- 57:10Speaker 5: next door, or simply because you don't like his girlfriend.
- 57:13Speaker 5: Those are the only things you told us about any
- 57:16Speaker 5: other thing besides you and the brother in law. You
- 57:20Speaker 5: asked Steve and I to make this make sense. Hmm.
- 57:23Speaker 5: Really that's kind of impossible, because no one can make
- 57:27Speaker 5: sense of this foolishness, and I don't want any.
- 57:30Speaker 1: Parts of it.
- 57:31Speaker 5: I mean, how can we possibly help you here? You
- 57:33Speaker 5: don't want our help, because if your husband just happens
- 57:36Speaker 5: to wake up one of those nights that you think
- 57:39Speaker 5: that you think he's sleeping through, I feel sorry for
- 57:42Speaker 5: you and his brother. But until then, do you boo Steve.
- 57:47Speaker 8: Wow, I'm forever amazed at how people have created these
- 57:53Speaker 8: new norms, how everybody now does has all this dysfunctional
- 57:59Speaker 8: faith or dysfunctional behavior, and then you want us to
- 58:05Speaker 8: normalize it, like, y'all don't see what I'm trying to
- 58:10Speaker 8: do here. No, no, we don't, and we don't. And
- 58:14Speaker 8: you trifling. You trifling. Your husband's brother is trifling. So
- 58:20Speaker 8: this is a letter full of trifling mess. And now
- 58:23Speaker 8: at the end of it, does this her brother have
- 58:26Speaker 8: the right to be jealous? What are y'all talking about? Okay,
- 58:32Speaker 8: your husband and you and your husband live in a
- 58:35Speaker 8: duplex plexit, and his brother and the girlfriend live next
- 58:39Speaker 8: door to y'all in the duplex. I don't get along
- 58:42Speaker 8: with the girlfriend, and she knows she will be never
- 58:44Speaker 8: be welcome in my house. Well, now let's take this
- 58:47Speaker 8: line right here, because this is now that we've read
- 58:50Speaker 8: the letter, this makes perfect sense. I don't get along
- 58:55Speaker 8: with the girlfriend and she knows she will never be
- 58:58Speaker 8: welcome in my house. Also, she can't come over there.
- 59:02Speaker 8: You got a lot of well we know based on
- 59:06Speaker 8: this letter, we know why she can't come over. Yeah, right,
- 59:10Speaker 8: because it's the party house, and she the only one
- 59:13Speaker 8: ain't involved in the party. Out of the four people,
- 59:16Speaker 8: she's the only one not involved in the party. You
- 59:21Speaker 8: and the party, your husband and the party, your brother
- 59:23Speaker 8: in law in the party. She can't come to the
- 59:26Speaker 8: party house. My husband's brother and I the same age.
- 59:29Speaker 8: We forty six. Your husband is fifty eight. He's got
- 59:31Speaker 8: problems with sleep, appnew, so he been sleep with a
- 59:34Speaker 8: seatpack machine to help him sleep at night. In case
- 59:37Speaker 8: y'all don't know what that is, that's that mask. That's
- 59:41Speaker 8: that mask you put on. It pushes ad through your
- 59:44Speaker 8: nasal passages and everything, so you don't stop breathing due
- 59:49Speaker 8: to a couple of problems you might have, and it
- 59:51Speaker 8: causes you to breathe or more freely. Okay, So now
- 59:55Speaker 8: he got the machine on that. This is seapack machine, y'all.
- 1:00:16Speaker 8: I used to sleep on a seapack machine till I
- 1:00:18Speaker 8: found a way to heal myself. Praise God for that.
- 1:00:21Speaker 8: But one night the seapack machine came off and it
- 1:00:24Speaker 8: fell in my lap. You know, I sleep naked. Then
- 1:00:26Speaker 8: I found a whole nother need for that seapack machine.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you, hang on, sepap you take.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: That cuff and you leave it there. Let me tell
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: you some.
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: twenty three minutes after the hour. Thank you for the
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: background seatpap machine noise.
- 1:00:46Speaker 8: Uh.
- 1:00:46Speaker 5: The subject of today's strawberry letter he doesn't want me
- 1:00:49Speaker 5: to be with his brother. We'll get back into it
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: right after this.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: You're listening morning show.
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: The subject is he doesn't want me to be with
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: his brother.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: All right, let me go through this quickly.
- 1:01:03Speaker 8: Here's this woman that's forty six years old that lives
- 1:01:05Speaker 8: in the duplex with her husband who's fifty eight. They
- 1:01:08Speaker 8: next door neighbors. Right next door in the duplex, it's
- 1:01:10Speaker 8: his forty six year old brother with her girlfriend. She
- 1:01:13Speaker 8: don't like the girlfriend, and the girlfriend may walk come
- 1:01:15Speaker 8: over to the house. We know in the letter why
- 1:01:17Speaker 8: she ain't walcome over to the house. Her husband and
- 1:01:20Speaker 8: her don't have sex because he got some health issues.
- 1:01:23Speaker 8: He sleep on a seapack machine at night, and so
- 1:01:26Speaker 8: we don't have a lot of sex with my husband.
- 1:01:28Speaker 8: I have it with his brother in state that line
- 1:01:33Speaker 8: you raggedy, healful? So now you sleeping with your her
- 1:01:38Speaker 8: husband's brother. He gives me all the great sex that
- 1:01:41Speaker 8: I want and need, and we don't even have to
- 1:01:44Speaker 8: sneak around to do it.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: Wait a minute, what you don't have to sneak around
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: to do it? Well, let me show you what she
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: called now sleep sneaking around.
- 1:01:54Speaker 8: He comes over after my husband falls asleep, and the
- 1:01:58Speaker 8: sounds of his sleep miss drown out any side, any
- 1:02:02Speaker 8: sounds we're making in the next room. Wait a minute, man,
- 1:02:07Speaker 8: y'all having sex in the next room? Why your husband
- 1:02:12Speaker 8: is in the other rooms sleep? His brother is in
- 1:02:16Speaker 8: here sleeping with his wife. And you think the sleep
- 1:02:20Speaker 8: machine drowns out the sounds, y'all make it. We're usually
- 1:02:23Speaker 8: able to make love two to three times a night,
- 1:02:26Speaker 8: once or twice a week. My husband sleeps right through
- 1:02:31Speaker 8: it all, and I wake up happy and fulfilled. Yes,
- 1:02:35Speaker 8: the girlfriend don't suspect a thing because her man is
- 1:02:41Speaker 8: at his brother's house. The only issue that I'm having
- 1:02:45Speaker 8: with this love triangle. Now, guess what, and you know
- 1:02:47Speaker 8: why you're over there at the house because you don't
- 1:02:49Speaker 8: allow her to come over either. Remember that at the
- 1:02:51Speaker 8: top of the letter and see will because you don't
- 1:02:54Speaker 8: like her. You created the dislike you did this the girlfriend.
- 1:02:58Speaker 8: They did nothing wrong to you. You doing something wrong
- 1:03:00Speaker 8: to the girlfriend and your husband.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: So now.
- 1:03:05Speaker 8: The only problem I'm having with this love triangle is
- 1:03:07Speaker 8: my husband's brother does not want me to have sex
- 1:03:11Speaker 8: with my husband anymore. What we had a talk and
- 1:03:18Speaker 8: he was serious about that. I told him I have
- 1:03:21Speaker 8: to be intimate with my husband too, or he'll know
- 1:03:24Speaker 8: something's not right. So what's crazy is no? No, no, no, no,
- 1:03:29Speaker 8: you ain't got to say that crazy ben happened. But
- 1:03:35Speaker 8: now here she come and she see this is what
- 1:03:37Speaker 8: I'm talking about. These people have these abnormal behaviors and
- 1:03:40Speaker 8: try to normalize them. Did she say, what's so what's crazy?
- 1:03:46Speaker 8: Is now.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: What you mean?
- 1:03:49Speaker 8: What's crazy? That's already crazy. I have to sneak to
- 1:03:56Speaker 8: have sex with the man I'm married to, but I
- 1:04:01Speaker 8: can freely have sex with his brother. Wait a minute, lady, no, no,
- 1:04:11Speaker 8: y'all have locks on these doors. You're supposed to have
- 1:04:16Speaker 8: sex with your hus You shouldn't be sneaking around on
- 1:04:23Speaker 8: your hugs, And you really shouldn't be sneaking around with
- 1:04:28Speaker 8: his brother in the room next door while he and
- 1:04:32Speaker 8: that listening to that damn seatpack machine. Then she says,
- 1:04:41Speaker 8: I can freely have sex with his brother. How you
- 1:04:44Speaker 8: call that freely having sex? You're sneaking with your husband. No,
- 1:04:49Speaker 8: you're not freely Your husband is next door. She says
- 1:04:55Speaker 8: that I can freely have sex. Make it make sense?
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: Why we can't? What can we do? It make sense?
- 1:05:05Speaker 8: What's wrong with y'all? I done told y'all quitting having
- 1:05:08Speaker 8: these crazy ass behaviors. You have made it normal. Now
- 1:05:12Speaker 8: you want us to help you. We got no help
- 1:05:14Speaker 8: for you. We don't give a damn what you do.
- 1:05:17Speaker 8: I'm gonna tell you what's gonna happen. Though, let me
- 1:05:19Speaker 8: tell you what's gonna happen. He has threatened to end
- 1:05:22Speaker 8: our affair. Does his brother have the right to be jealous? Well,
- 1:05:28Speaker 8: whether he have the right or not, he jealous. He
- 1:05:32Speaker 8: don't have the right to be sleeping with his brother's wife,
- 1:05:35Speaker 8: but he doing it. You don't have the right to
- 1:05:41Speaker 8: violate your husband's trust in y'all's marriage with the dude
- 1:05:45Speaker 8: that stay next door, which happens to be his brother.
- 1:05:48Speaker 8: Does this sound crazy to you?
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: Helpful?
- 1:05:56Speaker 8: Do this sound crazy to you? What should I do here? Okay,
- 1:06:03Speaker 8: let me tell you what's gonna happen. Your man gonna
- 1:06:06Speaker 8: wake up one night, because let me tell you what happened.
- 1:06:08Speaker 8: When you wake up with that seatpack machine on, you
- 1:06:11Speaker 8: can set it down and it'll blow freely for a
- 1:06:14Speaker 8: couple of couple of beats, not long, for about fifteen
- 1:06:19Speaker 8: ten fifteen seconds.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: I think it'll blow freely.
- 1:06:25Speaker 8: And then and then it'll cut off, and then you
- 1:06:28Speaker 8: have to come back and put it on, and then
- 1:06:29Speaker 8: it'll start back up again. M I think what's gonna
- 1:06:33Speaker 8: happen is he gonna have to go bathroom one of
- 1:06:35Speaker 8: them nights exactly.
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: He's gonna wake wake up.
- 1:06:38Speaker 8: Yeah, he gonna wake up, and that seapack machine gonna
- 1:06:42Speaker 8: cut off, and he gonna hear that noise. Then he
- 1:06:45Speaker 8: gonna look over and realize you ain't in bed. He
- 1:06:48Speaker 8: don't think somebody has broke in the house and over
- 1:06:50Speaker 8: that beating you. He gonna walk in the room. Y'all
- 1:06:53Speaker 8: ain't gonna hear him, and even if you do hear him,
- 1:06:57Speaker 8: what is y'all doing in this damn bed together?
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: It's gonna happen and then it's gonna be on and cracking.
- 1:07:04Speaker 5: Yes, all right, leave your comments on today's friend.

- 1:10:31Speaker 5: needs some advice, Steve. He invited a woman to ride

- 1:10:36Speaker 5: She wants to know if that's his way of flirting
- 1:10:38Speaker 5: with her m we'll find out right after.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: This you're listening morning show.
- 1:10:47Speaker 5: See this is from Eleanor in Minneapolis. Eleanor says, one
- 1:10:51Speaker 5: of my neighbors recently lost his wife. So I roasted
- 1:10:54Speaker 5: three hens and made some potato salad and I dropped
- 1:10:57Speaker 5: it by his house for him and his daughters. He
- 1:11:00Speaker 5: was grateful, and he said he returned my dishes. He
- 1:11:03Speaker 5: came by a few days later with my empty dishes.
- 1:11:06Speaker 5: I told him he was dressed nicely, and he said
- 1:11:09Speaker 5: he dressed up just for me. A day later he
- 1:11:12Speaker 5: called and invited me to ride to the cemetery with
- 1:11:14Speaker 5: him since his wife was laid to rest where my
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: husband is buried. I told him I don't like visiting cemeteries,
- 1:11:21Speaker 5: and I think I hurt his feelings. Is he flirting?
- 1:11:24Speaker 5: Did I give him the wrong impression when I took
- 1:11:26Speaker 5: him that food.
- 1:11:28Speaker 8: It's a dead giveaway.
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: Bad, my bad dog.
- 1:11:34Speaker 8: It was just there, dumb.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: And your uncle. My goodness, So what's going on here?
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: Well?
- 1:11:49Speaker 8: Yeah, you know what? And you know why you took
- 1:11:51Speaker 8: your stuff over there? Because she liked the man wife?
- 1:11:56Speaker 8: Did she sings? You took two hands over that? What
- 1:11:59Speaker 8: old people?
- 1:12:00Speaker 5: Three people?
- 1:12:02Speaker 8: They take some chicken over there. Yeah, she know what
- 1:12:04Speaker 8: she was doing. She took all that time baking that chicken. Queen,
- 1:12:11Speaker 8: she don't try no chicken. She took two hens over that.
- 1:12:16Speaker 8: She know what that is. Showed our little grave in
- 1:12:19Speaker 8: the bottom of the dog cornish dish all that. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:22Speaker 8: she knew what she was doing. Did I send the
- 1:12:24Speaker 8: wrong impression? It went just like you wanted it.
- 1:12:27Speaker 5: To go with a date to the cemetery though, Hey,
- 1:12:31Speaker 5: you want to ride with me down here?

- 1:12:50Speaker 8: that kind of hurted. See, he ain't been out there
- 1:12:52Speaker 8: in a while. He ain't dated in a while, so
- 1:12:54Speaker 8: he gonna know date.
- 1:12:55Speaker 9: Move.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: He just trying to know that a date of the
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: cemetery is wrong. He don't know.

- 1:13:03Speaker 8: What better way to have a woman than to have
- 1:13:05Speaker 8: to console's.
- 1:13:08Speaker 4: Not working for me.
- 1:13:09Speaker 8: Sorry, Look he he ain't look here. Move passed some
- 1:13:18Speaker 8: time to the to the goat and you know, you

- 1:14:18Speaker 8: No, it's not sexy.
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: It's not at all.
- 1:14:21Speaker 5: And your voice is not sexy.
- 1:14:24Speaker 8: I want to break up with Hi because he's boy.
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: I want a lot of time.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: All right, we have time for another one, Steve.
- 1:14:31Speaker 5: This is from Benita in clear Water Old Boys. Benita said,
- 1:14:36Speaker 5: I have a home based business making custom cakes. I
- 1:14:40Speaker 5: was asked to do a specialty cake for a bachelorette
- 1:14:42Speaker 5: party in the shape of a man's front parts. I
- 1:14:45Speaker 5: shaped the cake and I was preparing to put the
- 1:14:48Speaker 5: icing on it when my husband saw it and pitched
- 1:14:51Speaker 5: a fit, saying it was too vulgar.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: He told me to cancel the order.
- 1:14:55Speaker 5: I refused to do it. He's he used to be
- 1:14:57Speaker 5: a heathen, but now he's saved and sanctified. He judges everyone.
- 1:15:01Speaker 5: My cake turned out great. I got paid a lot
- 1:15:03Speaker 5: of money. How do I get my holy rolla husband
- 1:15:06Speaker 5: to relax?
- 1:15:07Speaker 8: Well? One of the things change.
- 1:15:11Speaker 5: About that voice again?

- 1:16:52Speaker 3: and charge more.
- 1:16:58Speaker 5: Could you be a comedian with a voice like that?
- 1:17:00Speaker 8: Though?
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: No, will he done it?
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: Yes, we'll have more of the.

- 1:20:22Speaker 5: coming up next, we'll close out the show with the
- 1:20:24Speaker 5: one and only Steve Harvey. Right after this, you're listening.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: Morning show.
- 1:20:30Speaker 5: All right, guys, here we are last break of the
- 1:20:32Speaker 5: day on this Friday. It's been a great day. And
- 1:20:36Speaker 5: before we get to Steve's closing remarks, we have got
- 1:20:39Speaker 5: to say congratulations once again to the Nephew for his
- 1:20:44Speaker 5: show Ready to Love.
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: Tell us one more time, Tommy.
- 1:20:47Speaker 8: Ready to Love is getting ready to hit Philadelphia. So
- 1:20:50Speaker 8: it is Ready to Love Philly. It sounds like Philly
- 1:20:53Speaker 8: to me.
- 1:20:53Speaker 7: We will be shooting this summer and we're looking for
- 1:20:57Speaker 7: we're looking for singles in Philadelphia, So y'all get ready.
- 1:21:00Speaker 7: If you are a single lady that's looking to get
- 1:21:02Speaker 7: out there and you're looking for love, having found to
- 1:21:04Speaker 7: get time, it gonna help you find it. Okay, I
- 1:21:08Speaker 7: will navigate you through a journey so you can find love.
- 1:21:11Speaker 7: We start out with twenty people, ten men, ten women,
- 1:21:15Speaker 7: all looking for the same thing. Process of elimination. Each week,
- 1:21:19Speaker 7: women eliminate men, man eliminate women. That dwindles down till
- 1:21:22Speaker 7: we got six people left, three couples who have hopefully
- 1:21:26Speaker 7: found love. That's the prize. The prize is love. It
- 1:21:30Speaker 7: ain't no million dollars, it ain't no trip around the world.
- 1:21:32Speaker 8: It is love. That's the prize.
- 1:21:35Speaker 5: And Tommy Steve asked you earlier, have you had couples
- 1:21:38Speaker 5: that have gone on to get married or to.
- 1:21:41Speaker 13: Dot remember they got there on another TV show? Now, yeah, dude,
- 1:21:52Speaker 13: good dude, Yeah, yeah.
- 1:21:55Speaker 5: Yeah, yep, they're still married doing their thing.
- 1:21:57Speaker 8: Yep.
- 1:21:58Speaker 7: All right, see, people, there's actually been people from one season.
- 1:22:02Speaker 7: I'm sorry, there's actually been people from one season hooked
- 1:22:05Speaker 7: up with people from other seasons. It's crazy, oh like that. Yeah,
- 1:22:09Speaker 7: but the key word is single though, keyword you need
- 1:22:14Speaker 7: to be single. So Philadelphia, you need to be single.
- 1:22:17Speaker 7: On coming there and you're married, you separated, y'all kind
- 1:22:20Speaker 7: of going through something, y'all still living together?
- 1:22:24Speaker 8: No, you looking for single people?
- 1:22:29Speaker 5: Congratulations nephew.
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: All right, Steve, Hey, I got.
- 1:22:33Speaker 8: A question for you.
- 1:22:34Speaker 9: Man.
- 1:22:35Speaker 11: You know, I'll watch a lot of the things that
- 1:22:37Speaker 11: you do. You got TV shows, you got family, You've
- 1:22:40Speaker 11: built this life.
- 1:22:41Speaker 8: Do you I got that? I got what he I
- 1:22:43Speaker 8: got TV showing.
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: Gone asking and as.
- 1:22:49Speaker 11: Ahead, Yeah, well you know he doing he's doing it too.
- 1:22:53Speaker 11: I just had to ask talk because I think about
- 1:22:55Speaker 11: all the stuff you have. Do you ever do you
- 1:22:57Speaker 11: ever think about the pressure is to maintain that life on?
- 1:23:00Speaker 8: Well, I don't have to think about the pressure. I'm
- 1:23:02Speaker 8: under it every day. You know, I got all that
- 1:23:06Speaker 8: on my back. But you know, the blessing in it
- 1:23:10Speaker 8: is that I'm built for this. You are built for
- 1:23:13Speaker 8: whatever your situation is. You are built to carry the load.
- 1:23:18Speaker 8: He never puts more on you than you can bet
- 1:23:20Speaker 8: than you can bear, and if you maintain a relationship
- 1:23:23Speaker 8: with God, he will constantly reinforce that for you. What
- 1:23:27Speaker 8: happens to most people is we stray away from our
- 1:23:30Speaker 8: relationship with God and now we don't have the backup.
- 1:23:35Speaker 8: We don't have the fortified strength, the peace of mind,
- 1:23:40Speaker 8: the joy and the realization that God is with me.
- 1:23:45Speaker 8: And once you don't have that, that's when life appears
- 1:23:48Speaker 8: to be overwhelming for people, but life gets feels can
- 1:23:53Speaker 8: feel overwhelming for me at times, but I'm never far away.
- 1:23:58Speaker 8: I'm just one prayer away from peace. That's what I
- 1:24:01Speaker 8: always know. I'm always just one prayer away from peace.
- 1:24:05Speaker 8: So when it gets to be a bit much for me,
- 1:24:08Speaker 8: I take it to God and I hand it to
- 1:24:10Speaker 8: him because you let me have all this. You blessed
- 1:24:15Speaker 8: me with it and gave it to me. So you
- 1:24:18Speaker 8: have to know that I have what it takes to
- 1:24:21Speaker 8: carry the load, So just provide me with the necessary
- 1:24:25Speaker 8: inspiration to do it. I'm under an immense amount of pressure,
- 1:24:30Speaker 8: but I happen to and this is not bragging. I'm
- 1:24:33Speaker 8: just telling you what's afforded me because of God's grace
- 1:24:36Speaker 8: and mercy. I'm under immense amount of pressure, but I
- 1:24:43Speaker 8: handle it extremely well, extremely well. Of all of the
- 1:24:49Speaker 8: public scrutiny you've ever seen me under, of all of
- 1:24:54Speaker 8: the misinformation about me and my wife online, about all
- 1:25:00Speaker 8: of the accusations that's been levied against me, and ninety
- 1:25:06Speaker 8: nine percent of them never are even close to the truth.
- 1:25:11Speaker 8: I managed to get up and keep going anyway. But
- 1:25:15Speaker 8: that's God's favor. All my life. That's God's blessing. That's
- 1:25:19Speaker 8: what he gives you when you when you commune with him,
- 1:25:24Speaker 8: When you communicate with him, he will provide you a
- 1:25:28Speaker 8: level of comfort and peace that will help you, that
- 1:25:31Speaker 8: will help you sustain through all of your woes and worries.
- 1:25:36Speaker 8: And then I have prayer. You've heard the old people
- 1:25:40Speaker 8: say it a million times. If you're gonna pray about it,
- 1:25:42Speaker 8: don't worry about it. And if you're gonna worry about it,
- 1:25:44Speaker 8: then don't pray about it. You know, when I get
- 1:25:47Speaker 8: when I find myself worry, I stop because I ain't
- 1:25:52Speaker 8: got to carry this by myself. And when you got
- 1:25:54Speaker 8: God in your life, man, you don't have to carry
- 1:25:56Speaker 8: the load by yourself. The load is overwhelming when you
- 1:26:00Speaker 8: take it on yourself. And the majority of the weight
- 1:26:03Speaker 8: that people are put on themselves is tomorrow. They carry
- 1:26:07Speaker 8: two things with them that make it overbearing. You bring
- 1:26:10Speaker 8: your past with you, and you worry about the future,
- 1:26:13Speaker 8: and you ain't got no control over neither one of them.
- 1:26:17Speaker 8: You keep hanging on to something you did, and you
- 1:26:20Speaker 8: allow people to remind you of it all the time.
- 1:26:23Speaker 8: That makes you heavy. And now hear you worrying about
- 1:26:25Speaker 8: tomorrow when today is plenty. So if you get yourself
- 1:26:31Speaker 8: overwhelmed like that, refocus, talk to godet and get on
- 1:26:36Speaker 8: today because today is enough and it keeps me from
- 1:26:40Speaker 8: becoming overwhelmed. So, yeah, do I feel the pressure of
- 1:26:43Speaker 8: my life. Oftentimes I do, But I'm also built for this.
- 1:26:47Speaker 8: God made me and designed me wonderfully for this moment
- 1:26:51Speaker 8: right here. And so even though it seems a lot,
- 1:26:54Speaker 8: and it is, it ain't too much. All you got
