- 2:17Speaker 1: oh man, what a journey it has been. I thank
- 2:19Speaker 1: God for every single step of the way. I learned
- 2:23Speaker 1: to thank him for the bad times too, because it
- 2:26Speaker 1: taught me something. All the bad times, all the failures,
- 2:30Speaker 1: they became valuable experiences in my life. Every time I failed,
- 2:34Speaker 1: I learned a little bit more about getting up. Every
- 2:36Speaker 1: time I was told no, it moved me one step
- 2:39Speaker 1: closer to yes. It made me stronger, tough in my skin.
- 2:43Speaker 1: It made me learn how to deal with haters. It
- 2:46Speaker 1: made me learn how to deal with people who don't
- 2:49Speaker 1: have your best interests at heart. Man, ain't y'all all
- 2:52Speaker 1: out there feeling me on this one right here? It
- 2:54Speaker 1: teaches you who is who in your life. It shows
- 2:59Speaker 1: you who you can to hin on and who you came.
- 3:02Speaker 1: And at the end of the day, what has taught
- 3:03Speaker 1: me most of all my hardships in my life, And
- 3:06Speaker 1: it's really about me and God. That is the one
- 3:10Speaker 1: factor that has been never changed in my life. God
- 3:15Speaker 1: has always been the same for me and for you
- 3:19Speaker 1: and for all of us. His word is true. It
- 3:22Speaker 1: don't waiver, it don't shake. You can shape it, re
- 3:25Speaker 1: readjusted if you want to. It is really the way
- 3:28Speaker 1: it's written, It really is. You have your version of
- 3:31Speaker 1: it if you want to. But if you just read
- 3:33Speaker 1: it the way it is, it's real clear. Ain't no
- 3:36Speaker 1: loopholes in it. Every time you jump through a loophole,
- 3:39Speaker 1: there's something over that written that that counters that. So
- 3:44Speaker 1: is is what I want to get to today with everybody,
- 3:49Speaker 1: And this is gonna be good. Listen to me. You
- 3:53Speaker 1: got it within you Oh it's there. Just use it.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Listen to me close. You got it within you? Oh
- 4:04Speaker 1: is there? Just use it? Man now now if if
- 4:12Speaker 1: you hear me clearly, I'm really fin to show you
- 4:14Speaker 1: something this morning. You got it within you? Oh is there?
- 4:20Speaker 1: Just use it? Stee what you're talking about. See, here's
- 4:24Speaker 1: what's wrong with a lot of people. Here's what's stopping
- 4:27Speaker 1: so many people. I did it. I did it to myself.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Here's what's stopping a lot of people. You keep looking.
- 4:37Speaker 1: We keep looking for others to save us. We keep
- 4:43Speaker 1: looking for someone else to rescue us. We always looking
- 4:47Speaker 1: for some group of people or somebody to accept us.
- 4:52Speaker 1: We keep looking for someone else's approval. We always looking
- 4:57Speaker 1: for some group or somebody to deliver us, somebody, some
- 5:02Speaker 1: group of people to give us credibility, somebody or some
- 5:09Speaker 1: group of people who says we matter. We spend so
- 5:14Speaker 1: much time right there, and when the cavalry don't come
- 5:19Speaker 1: over the hill, when there ain't no saving and ain't
- 5:22Speaker 1: no deliverance, and there you don't get accepted, and and
- 5:25Speaker 1: then don't nobody really come to save you, And don't
- 5:28Speaker 1: nobody vouching for you and giving you credibility and throws
- 5:31Speaker 1: you into sunth now you into this little state of man.
- 5:35Speaker 1: I don't know what I'm gonna do. You don't know
- 5:38Speaker 1: what you're gonna do. Oh you got it within you?
- 5:41Speaker 1: Oh is there? Just use it? See you want to
- 5:46Speaker 1: know what the real deal is, y'all is you and God,
- 5:53Speaker 1: and it's the God in you. Man. I wish I
- 5:57Speaker 1: could explain this right to you today. I want you
- 6:00Speaker 1: to feel me on this right here, when you shake
- 6:03Speaker 1: everything out the way, get rid of all your expectations
- 6:07Speaker 1: of people. The relationship you thought was gonna last forever
- 6:10Speaker 1: that didn't make it. The child that you wanted to be,
- 6:13Speaker 1: this that turned out to be that. You blaming yourself
- 6:16Speaker 1: for this. You your friend you thought was your friend,
- 6:18Speaker 1: that stabbed you in the back. You found out they
- 6:20Speaker 1: wouldn't the job you thought was gonna keep you and
- 6:23Speaker 1: you retire on they didn't close down, gave you a
- 6:25Speaker 1: pink slip. All of this. Man, that the promise that
- 6:30Speaker 1: somebody told you they was gonna loan you this money,
- 6:32Speaker 1: and on long day they say they ain't got it.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Oh man, oh man, on man, this money you thought
- 6:38Speaker 1: was gonna come through on this check, the check ain't there. Oh, man,
- 6:42Speaker 1: how many disappointments in life can you get? You thought
- 6:45Speaker 1: you had enough credit. I was to graduate. You found
- 6:48Speaker 1: out two weeks before you didn't. You can't grat all
- 6:51Speaker 1: this here? Man? What's gonna happen? Man? Look at the
- 6:54Speaker 1: disappointment in my life right now? But let me explain
- 6:59Speaker 1: something to you. When you get rid of all of that,
- 7:03Speaker 1: guess what you really got? You got God. That's the
- 7:07Speaker 1: whole anchilada. Baby, that's the ball of wax, that's the
- 7:09Speaker 1: monkeys in the barrel, that's the bag of chips. You
- 7:13Speaker 1: listen to me, If you got God, do you understand
- 7:16Speaker 1: that that's sufficient? That that's all you need? Can you
- 7:20Speaker 1: feel me now? You and God and the God in you,
- 7:27Speaker 1: it's really what you need. Stop looking for all these
- 7:31Speaker 1: outside sources for approval, to gain acceptance, to get credibility,
- 7:36Speaker 1: somebody that saved you, the cavalry coming over the hill.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Why won't they recognize me? Why won't they give me closure?
- 7:43Speaker 1: Why they fire me? Why they vote closing on my house?
- 7:46Speaker 1: Don't they know I'm laid off? When you get through
- 7:48Speaker 1: it all, it at whining. Can I tell you something,
- 7:53Speaker 1: It's gonna come down to you and God and the
- 7:56Speaker 1: God in you. If God created man in his own image,
- 8:02Speaker 1: God is a part of you that is a piece
- 8:05Speaker 1: of you that's godly. I don't care who you are.
- 8:09Speaker 1: I don't care what mistake you made. The murderer that's
- 8:13Speaker 1: sitting in jail to day because of a moment in
- 8:17Speaker 1: his life that he's now paying for, has God in you.
- 8:23Speaker 1: The biggest criminal when he gets through criminalizing or whatever
- 8:27Speaker 1: you wanna call and he's sitting there by hisself, that
- 8:31Speaker 1: is a piece of God in him that lets him
- 8:34Speaker 1: know this ain't the way this wrong. You out of line.
- 8:37Speaker 1: You can love his money if you want to put
- 8:39Speaker 1: you out of line, and you're gonna pay. It's at
- 8:44Speaker 1: the end of the day, when I get through on
- 8:46Speaker 1: this microphone, on this TV, all these articles, when I
- 8:49Speaker 1: get through with all of that, you know what it
- 8:51Speaker 1: comes down to. Because see, it ain't always been this
- 8:53Speaker 1: way for me. You know, I've been trying to get here,
- 8:56Speaker 1: trying to get that. Listen to me. It's been me
- 8:58Speaker 1: and God, and it's been to God in me. And
- 9:02Speaker 1: when I woke up a few years back and I
- 9:05Speaker 1: realized that's really what it was, it changed my whole life.
- 9:10Speaker 1: It changed my whole life. Your whole life can get
- 9:13Speaker 1: changed when you realize that it's really you and God
- 9:16Speaker 1: and the God in you. That's really what it is
- 9:20Speaker 1: really Men, people disappoint you, You argue with people, You
- 9:23Speaker 1: fall out with people, You break up with people, you
- 9:26Speaker 1: divorce people. You got people who you thought was free
- 9:29Speaker 1: as all of a sudden you find out they're talking
- 9:30Speaker 1: about it's crazy out here. You've been going, what's going on?
- 9:33Speaker 1: What's really going on? But that's because guess what you
- 9:38Speaker 1: got all yours banked on them. When you're gonna banking
- 9:41Speaker 1: on the one thing that you can count on, the
- 9:43Speaker 1: one God's word ain't change since we got him. It's solid.
- 9:48Speaker 1: If you pray, believe, work hard, don't doubt you'll get
- 9:51Speaker 1: whatever you ask for. That's a fact. There ain't no
- 9:54Speaker 1: rumor speople out here doing it every day. Now. If
- 9:57Speaker 1: you ain't trying that, listen to me. You got it
- 10:00Speaker 1: within you, Oh is there? You just got to use it.
- 10:05Speaker 1: There is a weapon available to man called prayer. Use that.
- 10:10Speaker 1: See I look at my life, man, whenever I get
- 10:12Speaker 1: a little shaky, I look back, or hey man, I
- 10:15Speaker 1: ain't really talk with him too much yesterday, Oh tighten up.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I'm just telling you real. You got a bad answer.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Oh oh, oh, I know what. Oh oh, my bad, Steve. Now, Steve,
- 10:28Speaker 1: I ain't winning. Course, they didn't get me the loan on. Now, Steve,
- 10:31Speaker 1: I ain't winning cause she left me. He left me.
- 10:34Speaker 1: I ain't winning, Steve, because I got steck with these kids.
- 10:36Speaker 1: I got a divorce. They fired me. How they foreclosed
- 10:40Speaker 1: on my home. That one. I ain't winning. You ain't
- 10:42Speaker 1: winning cause you ain't praying. You got to pray and
- 10:44Speaker 1: believe in work. That's the key. Come on, man, you
- 10:49Speaker 1: got it within you. Oh it's there. You just got
- 10:52Speaker 1: to use it. It's just you and God, and it's
- 10:54Speaker 1: to God and you and what y'all gonna do. But
- 10:56Speaker 1: that you're listening Steve. Ladies and gentlemen, Steve Harvey Mortar
- 11:03Speaker 1: Show is in full effect. Good morning, everybody, have a
- 11:06Speaker 1: great day. Be grateful. Tell God you appreciate him waking
- 11:10Speaker 1: you up in the morning. You cannot be depressed or
- 11:15Speaker 1: not a morning person if you start off each day
- 11:19Speaker 1: with gratitude, thanking him for everything he's done for you
- 11:24Speaker 1: and the things that's come in your way. That immediately
- 11:27Speaker 1: killed depression. Eat immediately. Dare you to try watch what happened.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Good morning Ship, thank you Lord, Good morning Steve, Good
- 11:38Speaker 1: morning Steve, or morning hug thanking Lord. I'm here, Tommy,
- 11:44Speaker 1: tom thank you, thank you, thank you Steve Harvey. Yes,
- 11:53Speaker 1: we long, Steve. I'm proud of you. I am. Don't say, oh,
- 12:01Speaker 1: I'm proud of you all the jobs you have, all
- 12:05Speaker 1: the jobs you have, and then you come to work
- 12:08Speaker 1: so early in the morning with such a pleasant, beautiful attitude. Girl,
- 12:12Speaker 1: I ain't got no choice. Yeah, and you're still grateful.
- 12:14Speaker 1: That's what. I can't tell people to be grateful and fine,
- 12:18Speaker 1: come on, how that's gonna work. They don't ever hear
- 12:23Speaker 1: me thanking God for nothing. But I'm telling people, y'all
- 12:25Speaker 1: got to be grateful. What about you? Stay what you're
- 12:29Speaker 1: doing over there? Why are you so saying I thought
- 12:32Speaker 1: you was grateful? Yeah? Man, this is a new new
- 12:37Speaker 1: era for me. I've entered a new era into my life.
- 12:40Speaker 1: What does that mean? I'm increasingly becoming more of a
- 12:45Speaker 1: global or businessman? Oh? I believe that's real. How so yeah,
- 12:52Speaker 1: what are you doing? Well? You know, I'm just working.
- 12:55Speaker 1: First of all, laid claim to it, yes, step on
- 12:58Speaker 1: out faith, and then I just started doing the work necessary,
- 13:03Speaker 1: taking the meetings and meeting people, shaking people's hands. Somebody
- 13:08Speaker 1: asked me one time, how you know all these people?
- 13:09Speaker 1: I stuck my hand out. I'm Steve Harvey. How are
- 13:13Speaker 1: you doing? What? What do you do? Man? Man? I'd
- 13:15Speaker 1: love to learn more about that. I never asked anybody
- 13:19Speaker 1: for anything. I only asked him to show me what
- 13:23Speaker 1: they do and how they did it. I want to
- 13:27Speaker 1: be taught how to fish, that's all. Don't give me
- 13:31Speaker 1: the sandwich. I have my own bucket, and you love fishing,
- 13:36Speaker 1: so it's all good. I don't see how they worked out.
- 13:41Speaker 1: And look at God, right, can let it go? Hush
- 13:50Speaker 1: there whatever? But how to fish? Well, what's all got going?
- 14:02Speaker 1: What's happened? I mean it's thirty two. Well, I'm gonna talk.
- 14:07Speaker 1: We're gonna talk about your good friend din we call
- 14:10Speaker 1: him Denzel, but Denzel Washington what you call him den Well,
- 14:15Speaker 1: when we come back right after this at thirty two
- 14:19Speaker 1: after you will see, sir, you will see he was
- 14:22Speaker 1: asked to give up some ringside seats. Okay, that's a
- 14:26Speaker 1: little hint right there. And yeah, well yeah, Oscar winning
- 14:32Speaker 1: Denzel talking to right, we'll talk about that right after this,
- 14:39Speaker 1: you didn't know you you're listening to show. Well, guys,
- 14:48Speaker 1: if you've ever found yourself in the wrong seat at
- 14:50Speaker 1: an event, I mean that happens. You go to a
- 14:52Speaker 1: concert and you know, you look at your tickets and
- 14:55Speaker 1: you think the seat matches, but you know oftentimes it doesn't.
- 14:59Speaker 1: So take heart, you are not the only one. Okay.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Apparently Denzel Washington, Yes, the Denzel Washington found himself No right,
- 15:12Speaker 1: just saying yes, Denzel. Anyway, Denzel found himself in a
- 15:19Speaker 1: similar situation over the weekend. According to page six, now,
- 15:23Speaker 1: Denzel was at the Triple G and Canelo Alvarez fight
- 15:27Speaker 1: Steve when a Los Angeles Las Vegas high roller asked
- 15:30Speaker 1: him to move from where he was sitting with Los
- 15:33Speaker 1: Angeles legend and Debbie Allen's husband, the One and Only
- 15:36Speaker 1: Norm Nixon. So Denzel was sitting with Debbie Allen and
- 15:39Speaker 1: Norm Nixon. Someone came along and asked Denzel to change
- 15:43Speaker 1: his seat. It seems like he was in the wrong seat.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Were exactly Tommy, So, as the story goes, the unnamed
- 15:53Speaker 1: man offered, I love you. Uh talking to Denzel, I
- 15:57Speaker 1: love you, but you're in my seat. This isn't a movie.
- 16:00Speaker 1: This is real life. Okay, that's what he told him. Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, okay, okay, alright, alright,
- 16:08Speaker 1: I'm putting cases on all you high rollers. I'll be here.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Huh huh. You think you can do this to me, Jake, Jake,
- 16:16Speaker 1: you think you can ask me for my seat? You'll
- 16:19Speaker 1: be playing watching boxing Impeller can play when I'm through
- 16:23Speaker 1: with you, Tree, lockdown, Shoot Shine, I'm sorry, I got it. Yeah,
- 16:30Speaker 1: it's it could have happen just like that, Tommy. But
- 16:33Speaker 1: Denzel gave up his seat? What uh? As Will Smith, Lebron, James,
- 16:39Speaker 1: Dave Chappelle and others looked on when asked for a comment. Yeah,
- 16:44Speaker 1: this is crazy, right when you know Denzel's rep said
- 16:48Speaker 1: he didn't know a thing about it, So this actually happened.
- 16:55Speaker 1: He didn't call you and tell you about this season.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Call him see what happened. Let's because I was the
- 17:06Speaker 1: wrong seat. Huh. Always knew I was in the wrong
- 17:09Speaker 1: What do you mean that's how I went to the concert.
- 17:12Speaker 1: I would in the concert to sit in your seat.
- 17:16Speaker 1: I knew where my ticket was soon as winning five
- 17:21Speaker 1: tickets went don't say I bought man, but eleven dollars
- 17:26Speaker 1: as alway as you could be if it was. But
- 17:31Speaker 1: what is that seat you had with Mayweather? Huh? What
- 17:35Speaker 1: if it was that seat when you was at the
- 17:36Speaker 1: Mayweather fight, that's where Denzel was. Come on now, right,
- 17:41Speaker 1: you know you're talking about last year. Can nobody come
- 17:46Speaker 1: talk to you about your seat? Well, you can come
- 17:48Speaker 1: talk to me, but please know what I know is
- 17:51Speaker 1: I know how to make shell. I'm in my dams.
- 17:54Speaker 1: But what you ain't gonna do this hitting out on
- 17:56Speaker 1: TV is another fight? The fight. Oh my god that
- 18:05Speaker 1: I watching. Oh my god, there's Steve be up in there,
- 18:10Speaker 1: like Charles Oakland and Madison square Garden fighting at the fight.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Yeah that velvet. Oh that was so Burgundy. Uh huh.
- 18:23Speaker 1: So yeah, so this he had to leave. Denzel left.
- 18:27Speaker 1: She couldn't have been that fall. I mean one role. Ye,
- 18:33Speaker 1: I don't think so. He probably just said it shouldn't
- 18:36Speaker 1: even be a story. Really are we talking about? Well,
- 18:39Speaker 1: it's a story because it's Denzel and he was in
- 18:41Speaker 1: the wrong. Well it is a story a time we
- 18:46Speaker 1: can get news on Denzel. It's a story. Ye want
- 18:50Speaker 1: to talk about back in the day, Back in the
- 18:53Speaker 1: day when you was the earth win in fire concert?
- 18:54Speaker 1: Did you ever get told to get up? Oh? Here
- 18:57Speaker 1: are you? And what'd you do? Just moved another seat
- 19:00Speaker 1: that wasn't your dance harder? And these are the concepts
- 19:07Speaker 1: that you used to dress like the theme. I went
- 19:14Speaker 1: to the LTD concept with the cape on hold up
- 19:21Speaker 1: though I knew they was wearing this phoenix on the
- 19:26Speaker 1: back of their capes. So I found the eagle on Eagle.
- 19:33Speaker 1: I had the money for the whole thing that was
- 19:35Speaker 1: on top of the trans phoenix that was on top
- 19:37Speaker 1: of the transp That's where the LTD came out. I
- 19:40Speaker 1: did had the eagle it was And these are the
- 19:45Speaker 1: concerts that you didn't take a date to write. It's
- 19:48Speaker 1: just you had money. Let me two dollars. Then I
- 19:54Speaker 1: got the park and then we're gonna try to get
- 19:56Speaker 1: something drink too much that was level and had all
- 20:03Speaker 1: seats and stuff like that. You know, it just depends. Wow,
- 20:08Speaker 1: you know, then move and I'd be up at the top.
- 20:11Speaker 1: As soon as the main concert started. I just wait
- 20:16Speaker 1: word for y'all, dude, doom, don't don't don't do. I
- 20:23Speaker 1: just go on down, catch that escalator, start going on down.
- 20:28Speaker 1: As soon as the Winning Five come out. I started
- 20:33Speaker 1: stepping up that aisle kate throw moccasons. I'm down on
- 20:40Speaker 1: the floor. Anyone I was up at the ceiling, couldn't see.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Did anyone say anything to you about your outfit? Or
- 20:48Speaker 1: were there a conversation? A little man, little man? I
- 20:51Speaker 1: was always real skinny little man. I see you, boy?
- 20:54Speaker 1: Oh you earn weird with it? Well? Yeah, I love that.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Knew all the slide right, man, I'd be about like
- 21:03Speaker 1: on a row eight or something nice slide right on
- 21:06Speaker 1: in there. I've been watching them seats since the beginning
- 21:09Speaker 1: of the show. And if you ain't here when the
- 21:10Speaker 1: Winning five come on, you probably ain't come. You know
- 21:14Speaker 1: the radio seats people ain't win didn't show up. I'm
- 21:17Speaker 1: down that in it. Yeah, it's too much security and
- 21:21Speaker 1: stuff now for that to be happened. Oh no, that
- 21:24Speaker 1: wouldn't stop me down on the floor. I'm down here.
- 21:30Speaker 1: You see this outfit, right, I'm in there. I'm with
- 21:33Speaker 1: the band. Damn to look like I'm in this group.
- 21:37Speaker 1: All right, here we go. Never you tell me is
- 21:40Speaker 1: coming up next with a prank phone call. He's gonna
- 21:43Speaker 1: run it back right after this. You're listening to Steve
- 21:47Speaker 1: Morning Show coming up at the top of the hour.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Inside Entertainment News, Kanye West said, I saw him when
- 21:54Speaker 1: he said that I'm moving back to Chicago. But right
- 21:57Speaker 1: now the nephew is here with run that prank back?

- 54:19Speaker 1: cop just saw you people in that famous show. Because
- 54:21Speaker 1: a lot of people are standing there. When they saw

- 55:16Speaker 1: it for you here it is. It's that time the
- 55:18Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter. Thank you A subject unhappily engaged and ready
- 55:23Speaker 1: to walk. Dear Stephen Shirley, My fiance and I have
- 55:27Speaker 1: been together for six years. He's fifty and I'm thirty five,
- 55:31Speaker 1: and this will be the first marriage for both of us.
- 55:35Speaker 1: When he proposed, my intuition told me he was not
- 55:38Speaker 1: ready to be married. A month ago, my fiance got
- 55:42Speaker 1: and I got into a big argument about his family,
- 55:45Speaker 1: and I didn't like his response or how he acted
- 55:48Speaker 1: in front of our three year old daughter, so we
- 55:51Speaker 1: haven't really been speaking. Two nights ago, he never came
- 55:54Speaker 1: home from work and he did not answer my calls
- 55:57Speaker 1: or text messages. I received a message from a pouintance
- 56:00Speaker 1: on social media saying that my fiance was at a
- 56:03Speaker 1: bar downtown, so I drove down to the bar, hoping
- 56:07Speaker 1: to see him there. Alone so we could try to
- 56:10Speaker 1: resolve our issue. As soon as I walked in and
- 56:13Speaker 1: saw him, my heart sank. He was at a table
- 56:17Speaker 1: with another woman. I walked right over to their table,
- 56:20Speaker 1: and I sat next to the woman and I started, okay, yeah,
- 56:30Speaker 1: I started going on why, I don't know, I don't know.
- 56:36Speaker 1: The woman was in shock, and she remained totally quiet.
- 56:40Speaker 1: I told him that the wedding was off, and then
- 56:43Speaker 1: I left. I cried all the way home. He came
- 56:46Speaker 1: home shortly after me, and we talked. He said that
- 56:49Speaker 1: I am overreacting and I jumped to conclusions because of
- 56:53Speaker 1: how it looked. He told me that she is his
- 56:55Speaker 1: coworker and she wanted to watch the game after work,
- 56:59Speaker 1: and that's all it us. It definitely, would you say, Steve,
- 57:03Speaker 1: oh you like that? Uh? It definitely didn't look innocent
- 57:07Speaker 1: to me. She had on makeup, her hair was done,
- 57:10Speaker 1: and she was not dressed like she had uh, like
- 57:13Speaker 1: she had been at work all day. Steve, you say
- 57:16Speaker 1: that a woman's intuition is her greatest gift. So my
- 57:19Speaker 1: intuition tells me he's lying, and therefore I concluded that
- 57:23Speaker 1: he's not ready to get married. What do you think well,
- 57:28Speaker 1: I think you're absolutely right. You have to go with
- 57:30Speaker 1: your gut. I mean, in the third sentence of this letter,
- 57:34Speaker 1: you said you're intuition told you he wasn't ready for marriage,
- 57:38Speaker 1: and the second to the last sentence, uh, you said
- 57:41Speaker 1: he's not ready as well. So you just, you know,
- 57:44Speaker 1: just based on those two things, I would have to
- 57:47Speaker 1: agree with you, he is not ready. You guys don't
- 57:50Speaker 1: even know how to resolve conflict or anything. I mean,
- 57:52Speaker 1: you you got into an argument about his family. You
- 57:56Speaker 1: he says something crazy, you didn't like his response, and
- 58:00Speaker 1: you didn't like how he acted in front of your
- 58:02Speaker 1: three year old daughters. So you guys have issues, unresolved,
- 58:06Speaker 1: issues that need to be taken care of. You You
- 58:09Speaker 1: you stopped talking. He didn't come home that night. You
- 58:12Speaker 1: find him at a bar with another woman. He gives
- 58:14Speaker 1: you a pretty lie. But it is a lie. But
- 58:18Speaker 1: Steve liked it. It was a pretty one. Now it
- 58:22Speaker 1: was a pretty one. But yeah, the guys like it.
- 58:26Speaker 1: The women can see through it. No, he was You're right,
- 58:29Speaker 1: he was lying. Whatever your intuition tells you that. That's yeah. Yeah,
- 58:34Speaker 1: come on now, um, but but yeah, you guys aren't ready.
- 58:38Speaker 1: You you aren't ready either, Steve, Oh, this let us
- 58:44Speaker 1: kind of crazy. Tell you the truth. My fiance and
- 58:48Speaker 1: I've been together for six years. He fifty, I'm thirty five.
- 58:52Speaker 1: This would be the first marriage for both of us.
- 58:54Speaker 1: Real flag, He fifty and I'm thirty five. This will
- 59:01Speaker 1: be the first marriage for both of us. Red flat
- 59:05Speaker 1: fifty old man ain't never been married? M h flat.
- 59:11Speaker 1: When he proposed, my intuition told me he wasn't ready
- 59:13Speaker 1: to be married. What he fifty? If he ready? What? What? What?
- 59:19Speaker 1: What are waiting? Y'all been together six years? A man
- 59:24Speaker 1: proposed to you that you think ain't ready for Marridge?
- 59:27Speaker 1: He fifty? Y'all been together six years? He ain't ready
- 59:30Speaker 1: to get married? Wow? What you're talking to him for? What? What? What? What? What?
- 59:36Speaker 1: What is your takeaway from this relationship? You know he
- 59:40Speaker 1: ain't ready to get married. You're talking to him? He fifty?
- 59:43Speaker 1: He still ain't ready? Why are you with him? But
- 59:47Speaker 1: you got a baby now, so you know, trying to
- 59:50Speaker 1: make it work. A month ago, my fiance got into
- 59:53Speaker 1: a big argument about his family. I didn't like his
- 59:56Speaker 1: response in high acting in front our three year old.
- 59:58Speaker 1: So we haven't been speaking two nights ago, he never
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: came home from work, and he did not answer my
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: calls a text. What now that you cannot You cannot
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: not come home and then don't answer no text or
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: no calls. Dog, dog, you cannot do that. I received
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: a text from acquaintance on social media. Uh, you have
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: an acquaintance on social media. Acquaintance. See you didn't say
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: girlfriend one of my girls. Some dude. Probably, I'm just
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: assuming since it's an acquaintance. Some dude saying that your
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: fiance was at a ball downtown. So you got in
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: your car. You drove downtown hoping to see him there
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: alone in a ball alone. Ain't the ball overen? No?
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: How you going to see him alone at a ball?
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: She meant by himself, not with another woman. You know
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: what she meant? No, no, no, no, She drove down
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: there trying to bust him. The acquaintance told him he
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: was at a bar, and the acquaintance said he was
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: with a girl. You best to believe that. That's why
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: you got in your car and drove down because the
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: acquaintance told you he was at the bar with a girl.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: That's why you would say I drove down there hoping
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: to see him there alone. Well, who makes that statement.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: I'm going to see if he's alone. No, you already
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: had the information, So let's stop this so we could
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: try to resolve. As soon as I walk in, I
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: saw him, my heart save he was at the table
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: with another woman. I walked right with today table, sitting
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: next to the woman and started going a lot. Man left, God,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: she pinned her in. Let me tell you. Soon as
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: I saw you walking to the table, I got him,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: got my jacket wood. That's right. I no, no, I
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: walk right past you like we never saw each other,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: with nothing to do. Sit over there next to her
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: and go off. You go over there and sit next
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: to her. But I'm gonna be in the cough all right,
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: say that, Steve. Don't worry. We're gonna have part two

- 1:03:39Speaker 1: They've got an argument. They quit talking. This man don't
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: come home from work for a day or so. Don't call,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: don't return none of the calls or ticks. Did she
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: get a message from an acquaintance quote wink wink, That
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: mean dude on social media was downtown at the battle.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: So your man was down to you. Drove to the
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: ball hoping to see him alone. You know good Neil
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: Willy wasn't guys. As soon as I walked in, I
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: saw him in my heart. Say you don't think his
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: heart ache. He shut up, Shirley, this ain't you. She
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: thinks heart was the only one that saying. You don't
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: think when he looked up and saw you, You don't
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: think he swallowed his tongue. Yeah, but he caring about him.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: You don't think he damned they had to give himself
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: a hamley. Then you walk right over to the table
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: and sitting next to the woman and start going off.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: The woman was in shock. She remained totally quiet. I
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: told him that the wedding was off, and then I left.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: You wouldn't have had a chance to do that to me,
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: because when I saw you coming, I would have got
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: my members only chest and walked right past you. Hey,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: where are you going? I want to act like I
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: never said you're not getting married. I told him the
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: win was off and our level. I cried all the
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: way home. He came home after me and we talked.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: He said, I'm overreacting and jumped to conclusions of high.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: Look you did you did jump to a conclusion of high. Look.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: The problem he made was he ain't been home, he
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: ain't returned no phone calls, and no text. He printed
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: guilty on this situation. He printed guilty on this. He
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: told me that she's his co worker and she wanted
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: to watch the game after work. That's a good Since
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: when did it become your job to make sure she
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: see the game? That's what I can't She was, she
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: was at work and she wanted to see the game.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: So we came down him now here to her problem.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: Now here her problem. She wanted to watch the game
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: at the work, and that was it. It definitely didn't
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: look innocent to me. She had on makeup, her hair
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: was done, and she was not dressed like she had
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: been to work, unlike you. How she who got this
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: damn message? And now you to come down to the
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: ball your hair, roller set, you gotta roller set and
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: a rag around your head tied into it? Ain't your
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: man and not in the front. You got that housecoat
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: on with all of them damn fourballs on it, the
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: one where you didn't picked up wait because you know
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: the baby three. You ain't lost the baby weight, so
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: it don't really tie in a boat. You got it
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: tied in a knock. Now you got all these all
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: these all these lip balls on this thing. You got
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: Joe House slippers on with the chicken grease on them.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: But if you're coming down to the ball to strain,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: ain't got a stick of makeup on a matter of fact,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: forgot to take that damn cold cream. You walked in
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: the bar looking like the joker. Nah, you man, this
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: woman she's sitting up in here, got makeup on and
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: got her half done. This half for knew I was
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: coming down here looking like, ain't Jemima at the spot.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: That's what happened. What happened. That is exactly Steve, you say.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: A woman's intuition is her greatest gift. I told you that.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: So what you go down that dress like that folk
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: looking like I'm telling you she was looking crazy because
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: the first thing she said, she's sitting up in here,
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: got makeup on, her hair done. She in public. People
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: put makeup on and do they had to go in public.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: But that ain't what you was looking like when you
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: take you she was looking jet crazy. It looks like
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: your mama looks when she used to come up to
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: the school. What my mama had to come up to school,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: had that coat on their hand, no buttons on it. Yeah,
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: I notice saying I know exactly what happened. She don't
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: got got got that outfit on. She's sleeping and that
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: hunting outfit got Mitch mc thickass socks on down the
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: help a jam came down the jam with that fur row,
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: with that, with that, with that robo looks like it
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: ought to be on the back of the toilet, and
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: the other girls looking all sexy and fine. She's sitting
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: up in here with her had done got makeup on
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: for that in public, you're the one came out the
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: house looking like, ain't your mama in due rest? Come
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: down hitting me? You cussing up the wadness all oh man,
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: you're looking like that, know huh? Sitting up in here?
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: Now what you want us to tell? Now? My intuition
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: tells me he's lying. And before I could use that,
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: he's not ready to get mad? What do you think?
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: What do we think? I ain't gonna ain't your first
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: time walking in up somebody You rolled up on the
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: bunch A matter of fact, this is your thing, you
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: like rolling up, you to roll up in her car
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: running outside. That's why the woman didn't say nothing, because
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: she was scared. You know how you look when you
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: got call on your face and your hair roller set?
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: Why would she go out the house looking like that
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: because the man called and told her she was down there,
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: so to beat him, she got to go down there
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: as is. And that's just how crazy she was looking
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: cold cold cream, got that got that scar phone with
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: the glover's main on it. It was around game time.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: She up in here. Man got that scarf on the
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: smell like self eight. All right, look we gotta go, Steve,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: We'll go here. Uh listen, yeah, it is. Neither one
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: of them are ready. Uh just get your child support ready. Okay, guys,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: we we gotta get out of here, like I said.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Email us or instagram us your thoughts on today's Strawberry
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: letter at Steve Harvey f M coming up in about
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: ten minutes. Former Sesame Street writers as Burt and Ernie
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: we're gay and the show says otherwise. Though, yeah, the
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: show says otherwise. We'll talk about it when we come
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Show.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: Following an interview given by a former Sesame Street writer
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: who said he wrote the beloved characters Burden Ernie as
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: if they were gay. The show has said otherwise. Sesame
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Street on Tuesday tweeted as we have always said, Bert
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: and Ernie are best friends. They were created to t
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: preschoolers that people can be good friends with those who
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: were very different from themselves, focusing specifically on their orientation.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: The statement continued, even though they are identified as male
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: characters and possessed many human traits and characteristics, they remain
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: puppets and do not have a sexual orientation. The response
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: from the show comes two days after Mark Saltzman, who
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: is openly gay, spoke um about his own coming out
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: story and the iconic duo came up. Saltzman was a
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: writer on the show from Five to Night, and he
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: basically said this was kind of like his life. This
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: was you know what he was writing. None of that
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: when I was a kid watching this, I ain't seen
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: none of that. Well, the show made a statement. They
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: already said, yeah, yeah, they were two best friends, and
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: they wanted to show you know that even though you
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: have differences, you can still get along. I think I
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: povert hair right to be with who we want to
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: be with. Yeah, and if they want to be real
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: good for in public, they could be real good. Franp Alright, guys,
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: we're switching gears now and other breaking news that Senate
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: hearing featuring testimony from Donald Trumps Supreme Court nominee Brett
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: Kavanaugh and the woman who has accused him of sexual assault,
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: well that may not happen. On Tuesday, speaking through her lawyers,
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: Dr Christine Blasi Ford said that she wants the FBI
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: to investigate her allegations first, because some senators have already
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: made up their minds about the incident. Can I ask
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: you a question? When she say he assaulted him, has
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: anybody made clear what she's meaning what she say happened? Yeah,
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: he assaulted her. They were at a party, and uh,
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: I think he pushed her down in the bed or
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: something and had his hand covering her mouth. And she
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: made the statement like she thought he was going to
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: kill her. Sexual assault. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it was like that.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: Yeah yeah. Okay, Now let me ask you a question
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: to suggest a question, because I'm trying to gather the fact.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: Was she at the party in a bikini? I know? Yeah,
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: that part. I don't know that that makes it okay.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: I'm just asking. No, I don't I thought I was.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: I must have been hearing mixed stories. I'm not. I'm not.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: I don't really know what this is about I don't
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: you know what. I don't know what to say about this,
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: because I mean, you gotta get some type of corroboration, witnesses,
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: somebody that saw something, well something I well, the one
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: guy that she said was there, um, he said that
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: he doesn't remember because this happened like over thirty years ago, Steve.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: And that one guy says he doesn't he doesn't remember,
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: and he doesn't want to testify. And because you're right
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: right now, it's just he said, she said, we don't
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: Republicans sairly trying to keep it going so they can
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: get him already into the absolutely yeah, because yea, my
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: attitude is what's the right, you know, but the Russia
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: is before the mid terms, they want to confirm him
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: and everything, because they were supposed to confirm him tomorrow Thursday, right,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: they were supposed to take a vote. But now all
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: that's been pushed back because of these It's really I
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: don't know anything about this case. I can't call it
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: one way or the other, so I can't, No one can.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: I don't know it. You know. It's just well, I
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: think to Steve, if if if this woman is saying
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: that this man who's trying to get a job for
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: a lifetime job. Then you need to look at what
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: he's done in his lifetime. And so if she's saying
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: he's sexually assaulted her, people have a right to know,
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: and she's saying you need to investigate it. That is
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: her point, and that's right, and they're trying to push it.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: Can hurt him get in there, Yeah, exactly, Well, they
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: don't care about justice in this country anymore. I'm convinced
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: of that. They don't care about that in this country.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: It's it's it's party over the people all day. It's
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: what the party wants. You can't justify what Donald Trump
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: is doing on behalf of the party, which is so
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: against the people and how the average person even is. Man,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: it's really sad what's happening. So I don't know what
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: to make of this story. I don't have the facts.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: I want to know what she's accusing him. Okay, she
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: says during a pool party, so she may have had
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: on a bikini. Steve during a pool party in suburban Maryland,
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: uh Kavanaugh drunkenly pinned her down on a bed and
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: groped her, trying to remove her one piece bathing suit.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: One piece she did not have in a bikini, one
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: piece bathing suit and other clothing. She told the newspaper
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: The Post, that he covered her mouth when she tried
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: to scream for help. She escaped when Kavanaugh's friend jumped
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: on the bed, sending all three tumbling off. Blaise Ford continues,
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: the incident, Uh, she she considers I should say the
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: incident and attempted rape. This is according to her attorney.
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: She's saying, she, yeah, so that's why that's not I
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: didn't I didn't know any details. That's why I that
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: that's in a major accusation. You know, you you covered
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: women's mouth and bro and that's when she said she
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: thought he might kill her, you know. And she's nobody
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: should go through that. That is serious, and she she
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: didn't want it to come forth at first, but now
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: she says that she feels it's her civic responsibility. Um uh,
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: she feels like her civic responsibilities outweighing her anguish and
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: terror about retaliation. All right, She says she's been trying
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: to this far to say that, you know what I'm saying,
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: it's a lot that she's risking her repute. He ain't
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: made this up. It's yeah, it's and she has a
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: right to be heard. You know, I don't believe for
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: one minute that she's making this up. Yeah, and you
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: know that that's nothing, it's nothing in it for her
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: to win. Yeah, this is there's no win for this woman.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: And Steve, this is the same way I felt back
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: in the day about Anita Hill, you know, comparing Yeah,
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: they're definitely comparing it to the Anita Anita hillcase with
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Clarence Thomas. And he ain't seeing nothing. He's not gonna
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: say nothing. Got the job. Yeah, and it's for life,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: you know, until you get ready to retire or you know, man,
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: I didn't know that's what the details were. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: you just can't do that to women. You just can't listen.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: When we come back, we're gonna play an edition of
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: Ask Steve coming up right after this. You're listening to
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. So Steve Um, you know, we
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: don't talk about this a lot out on the show,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: but uh, I cused your intelligence intelligence quote. We don't
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: talk about that, but I just wanted to know from you.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: I'll start it off, which actions do you associate with
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: a below average i Q? Which which actions do you
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: associate with the below average IQ? Slabby? Automatically? Thanks, I'm
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: wrong with your whole front of your shirt? Just win?
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: Oh what else it is? But I know someone who's
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: slabbers bright to want? Oh what else is a sign? No?
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: Just kidding? Okay, junior, you ask your questions. A person
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: who is slabbers, yeah, as yours. All right, So back
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: to this. So any time you see somebody's slab they
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: auto out, No, forget, you got to go back and
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: do that for me one more time. Slobbling on their self,
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: slabbery and driving way to word eating uh in the
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: barber chair. In the barber chair. All that happen if
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: you were in church praising him. But you're just slobbling
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: on yourself. It's all on the fan. Okay, all right,
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: thank you? Are you clear now? I just want to
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: all right, let me see, let me thank let me
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: thank um. How about this? If you had, if you
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: had a ninety nine percent chance to succeed on the
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: next thing you did, what action would you? I'm already
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: doing it? What what is it? I'm working on becoming
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: a billion? Oh okay, how close are you? I'm a
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: long way away. But I got chance of it happening. Okay,
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: I love that your questions. That's your question. I'm working
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: on becoming a billionaire, and I feel like strongly I
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: got a nine nine percent chance of that happened. I
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: love your faith. Come on, Curler, you have a question
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: that we're doing, asked Steve. We're asking to Steve, just
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: random questions. All right? What currently, Steve? Can you not
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: get enough of the same? I ask? But we all
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: got the same. Wait that will never change, Steve? What
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: was you just put it on me somewhere? Can you
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: can give it to me as a sad you can
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: smear on me like a sap a smoothie. I think
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: we get it. Yeah, yeah, all right, I think it's
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: my turn again. I wear mine his fingers? All right,
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: too far man? What color is that? What are you
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: look like? You can put mine in my outfit, in
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: my car, just my whole and has it? Let it
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: blow out of that? Man? You have it, all right, Steve,
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: here's what you can It can come in the box
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: in the form of spositories. I'll take all eight over. Really,
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: I think that's the first time I've ever said that
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: word on this show. It could be in a cage
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: with rattlesnakes. Damn snake that all snake scooed over. You
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: better move. Okay, all right, I was gonna I'm sorry,
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: I asked, all right, we're doing asked Steve. Okay, Um,
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: let's see um Betty White. I think she's like ninety
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: six right now. And they honored her a couple of
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: nights ago at the Emmy Awards, Steve. So she was
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: thanking everyone and saying how blessed she was to still
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: be able to do what she does. Uh at ninety six,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: you know, stay in the business for so long, Yeah,
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: that is a blessing. So I just wanted to ask you,
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: how long do you think you're going to continue to
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: entertain us? And uh, if you do retire, what's the
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: first thing you're gonna do when you retire? First of all,
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: you'll know when I have the billion dollars because when
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: you cut on family feud or anything, and you your
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: next question gonna be so unlike Betty White, he must
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: have that billion. You're working on your soon. That is
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: my exit. Okay. You know, a matter of fact, I'm
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: gonna get out the photo build. But you know, and
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: what was your next Well, the part two the follow
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: up was what would be the first thing you're going
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: to do when you retire? Go to that thing? We
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: can't get enough to stop answering. All right, you know
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: you've been famous for real long time. What could you do? Like,
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: what's something you want to do right now that I
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: could do? Just probably a day. I'll tell you what
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: I'd like to do, man, A couple of things. I
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: kind of wish I could walk in the mall m
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: you know, just like walk through the mall looking windows
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: and stuff, see what they see, what they got, Man.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: I like to go in like a foot locker, really
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: Champ sporting goods, Oh no, you don't want to do it,
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: and out ball I was gonna bring. I remember the
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: last time I actually did see you in the mall
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: in Atlanta, Steve at the Perimeter Mall. You were coming
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: out of Macy's and and I was with some friends.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: Yeah it was Macy's, and I kept saying, they kept saying,
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: there goes Steve. I was like, no way, Steve, department draws. Yeah,
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: and we said you were like they were kept saying
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: that is Steve, that yes, that is I was like,
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: he would not be at the mall. It was dark.
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: I thought I could get in there, but you know,
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: the man's department is right at the door. Uh yeah,
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: I thought I could just run in body draws and
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: come on out. That did not work. As soon as
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: I walked in there. Hell, I thought Perimeter Mall Atlanta.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: Uh yeah, I thought I was gonna going up in
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: the board. It was on me. Manh you need a
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: drive through draws. Yeah, but that's what i'd go to
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: a mall. Man, that'd be pretty all right. All right,

- 1:29:15Speaker 1: All right? More of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: The Preme Court Brett Kevanaugh is accuser. Professor ford Uh
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: said without an FBI investigation, she will not appear in
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: a public hearing. Uh. So there you go with that.
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: In entertainment news, Kanye is speaking in public again, he
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: told a crowd in Chicago, his hometown that he Kanye
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: West is moving back to Chicago and that does not mean, however,
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: he's abandoning l A. Kanye made the announcement at a
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: Windy City event with Chance the Rapper and uh here
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: it is, take a listen. So personally my mind that
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: I have to tell you. I gotta let you know
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: that I've moved back to Chicago. I'll never leave it again.
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: They loved it. Chicago is ready for him. So Steve,
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: you're moving back to Cleveland. That's a name you don't
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: give me. I know not to go back. He don't
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: know yet. He'll be right on back out in l A.
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: It's Kim going up there and all that cold and weather.
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: I think they're gonna go back and forth. They'll have
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: dual residences like a lot of people, like a lot
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: of people do. Yeah, Well, just going to summertime something
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: where you want to get uh really January February, according
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: to Yeah. According to TMZ, Kanye said he and Kim
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: have already found a home in Chicago, and that's where
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: we know he wants to establish his permanent residents. But
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: they are keeping all of their properties and businesses and
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: stuff in l A. In addition to the house they
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: just built, they have multiple properties in l A, including
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: three hundred acres that Kanye is developing, and that project
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: is still a goo. TMZ is also reporting that Kanye
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: will move his Yeezy offices from Calabasas, California to Chicago.
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: So he's going back home, back home. Protually wants to
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: go to be relevant again, part of the culture. I
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: think he would chance to excluded. Yeah, in l A
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: and in this world of you know, he mustn't be
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: a part of culture and hip hop and all that.
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: I think that's probably and his baby. His baby's name
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: is Chicago, so yeah, making music and being part of
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: what's going on with chance to wrap me that's part
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: of it too, because there's my baby name Winter. But
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: I don't want no positive Winter. I didn't say that. Well,
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: his baby's name is name is named Chicago when you
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: stay all the time, because that's not a name. I
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: did not name her after a hotel. No, alright, So
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: there you have it. Kanye is moving back. Yeah, I
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: think you're right, Carla, that's part of it. He wants
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: to be part of the whole scene in Chicago now.
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: I don't know what that means in l A. I don't.
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: I don't know. Hip hop doesn't originate from l A. No,
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: it isn't that. I'm just saying his lifestyle. Yeah, I
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: know nothing about Well, he went to Wyoming to record
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: his latest album, so he'll just go to Wyoming from Chicago. Yeah,
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: I shall tell you what it to me because I forgot.
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back to close out the show
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: right after this at after you're listening to show. All Right,
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: here we are last break up the day it is
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: time Steve to spread the word, spread the knowledge. In
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: closing remarks today, I want to remind you all of
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: something and try to get you to understand very important
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: concept that I've learned about success. If you stay in
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: your comfort zone, that's where you'll fail. If you stay
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: in your comfort zone, that's where you fail. Success is
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: an uncomfortable process. Success requires you to step out of
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: your comfort zone into charted territory, untraveled paths, unsailed waters.
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: You're going to have to go where you've never gone.
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: In order to get to where you've never been. You've
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: got to step out of your comfort zone. Look, everybody
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: would like to remain comfortable throughout their life. But convenience
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: is built through inconvenience. It's the only way to have convenience.
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: You you have to be It has to be built
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: through inconvenience. I don't know if I told you this
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: the other day, but I was talking with the guy
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: uh at this fashion show. This guy was a tailor,
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: very young taylor from London, and he told me something
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: that his father told him that stuck with him. He said,
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: why are you young? If you party now, you will
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: work till you die? But why are you young? If
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: you work now, you can party till you die. Did
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: you understand that if while you're young, if you party now,
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: you're gonna end up work until you die. But if
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: while you're young, you work now, when you get old,
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: you can party till you die. That's that's the exchange
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: of life. But that would cause you to step outside
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: of your comfort zone in order to be successful. That's
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: where you have to go, because success is not in
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: the comfort zone. I wish it was. I wish I
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: could lay in the bed longer. I wish I didn't
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: have to work as much as I do. I wish
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: man I could mail it in. I wish I could
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: call on in and take off. I wish I had
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: more off days. I wish I could get five months
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: off to travel the world. I wish I could well.
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: In order to make any of those wishes, I won't possible.
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: I got to put it in now. I got to
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: get myself uncomfortable, because convenience is built through inconvenience. It's
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: not the other way around. It never will be. I
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: had some millennials on the show the other day and
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: we were having no incredible conversation about working in sacrifice,
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: and one young man said, when the old people's mind
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: set gonna change, because I don't like coming to work
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: early in the morning. I do better if I can
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: come in around noon. And old people's mind set and
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: needs to get used to the new way. And he
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: had a valid point because with technology, so many people
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: can work from home now. Because of technology, people got computers.
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: A lot of workers done on the computer. And I
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: told him, I said, that's great. I said, is great
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: what you're saying, And it may be eventually it will
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: turn that way. I said, but the problem you got
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: the baby June, the baby boomer generation, the dudes that's
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: fifty and sixty. My generation. Well, we don't want to
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: own the companies, and we didn't get here coming in
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: at twelve, and we're not gonna sit here and watch
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: you come in here twelve thinking you're gonna get it.
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: And I said it for in reality that death doesn't work,
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: young man, I said, I I wish you the best.
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: What you're thinking, I said, but why don't you comphind
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: this technology you have with some hard work. If you
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: combine what you all have today with my work ethic,
