- 0:01Speaker 1: Well, Happy Memorial Day from all of us here at
- 0:04Speaker 1: Verdict with Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you, and I
- 0:07Speaker 1: just want to take a moment to say thank you
- 0:10Speaker 1: to every single one of you that has served this
- 0:14Speaker 1: country warn a badge and for all of those that
- 0:18Speaker 1: have given the ultimate sacrifice to protect and defend this
- 0:22Speaker 1: country and our Freedom's center Cruise and I want to
- 0:25Speaker 1: say thank you. You know, Memorial Day weekend, so many
- 0:28Speaker 1: people just sing of it as a Monday off, a
- 0:31Speaker 1: three day weekend, a time to you know, hang out
- 0:34Speaker 1: with family and friends and cook out, and that is
- 0:37Speaker 1: certainly a part of the tradition. But one of the
- 0:40Speaker 1: things that I just want to make sure we take
- 0:42Speaker 1: a moment and pause is remind everyone in your family,
- 0:47Speaker 1: your kids, and your grandkids that this day is about
- 0:51Speaker 1: so much more than just a Monday off. This day
- 0:56Speaker 1: is about honoring those that have fought and protected and
- 1:00Speaker 1: defended and given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. And
- 1:05Speaker 1: that is something that is so important that we not
- 1:08Speaker 1: lose that opportunity to talk to our kids and our
- 1:11Speaker 1: grandkids about it. I am going to be doing that
- 1:14Speaker 1: today and honoring veterans as I cook out having some
- 1:19Speaker 1: incredible American heroes over in my little way of saying
- 1:23Speaker 1: thank you, and I hope that you will do the
- 1:25Speaker 1: same to anyone that you know that service country, thank
- 1:28Speaker 1: them for their service to what they have done. And
- 1:31Speaker 1: I hope that you have a fabulous Memorial Day with
- 1:34Speaker 1: your family and your friends. And to many who are
- 1:38Speaker 1: going to be sad and have a somber moral day
- 1:41Speaker 1: remembering their loved ones that they've lost, don't forget them
- 1:44Speaker 1: because today as we're grilling out, many of them are
- 1:48Speaker 1: going to be visiting their loved ones in their funeral
- 1:52Speaker 1: homes where they have laid to rest. And that is
- 1:55Speaker 1: something that I will never forget, having family and friends
- 1:59Speaker 1: of love people serving this country, and that is what
- 2:02Speaker 1: they do on Memorial Day. Let's not forget the ultimate sacrifices.
- 2:07Speaker 1: With that being said, also, I know so many of
- 2:10Speaker 1: you are traveling. Be safe on the road. And here
- 2:13Speaker 1: are some of the big subjects at the center, and
- 2:15Speaker 1: I talked about this past couple of weeks that I
- 2:18Speaker 1: want to make sure you hear about Center. Let's talk
- 2:22Speaker 1: about the bigger overview picture. We have known for quite
- 2:28Speaker 1: some time, but it's really come out recently that there
- 2:31Speaker 1: was a lot of money coming in from foreign nations
- 2:33Speaker 1: that are avisaris US into college campuses. We now see
- 2:38Speaker 1: what they were buying, which was they were buying influence
- 2:41Speaker 1: over a generation. We see massive donations that went into
- 2:44Speaker 1: the Biden Pen Center, for example, directly from China. And
- 2:48Speaker 1: now we're saying that it's not just buying influence to
- 2:51Speaker 1: change hearts and minds of college students at the Ivy
- 2:54Speaker 1: Leagues and other schools. But now they moved into direct
- 2:57Speaker 1: activism with these campus protest which seems to be phase
- 3:02Speaker 1: two of their plan.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Ben That's exactly right. There's a major report that came
- 3:07Speaker 2: out on Monday this week from NCRI. NCRI is the
- 3:10Speaker 2: Network Contagion Research Institute. This is the same group that
- 3:14Speaker 2: put out the empirical studies of TikTok and how the
- 3:17Speaker 2: Chinese Communist government was pushing communist propaganda on TikTok and
- 3:22Speaker 2: it led to ultimately Congress passing the legislation forcing the
- 3:26Speaker 2: Chinese Communist government either to sell TikTok or shut down
- 3:29Speaker 2: in the US. So NCRA is CRI rather, there's a
- 3:33Speaker 2: serious organization that does serious research. The report they put out,
- 3:37Speaker 2: I want to go into it in detail because it's
- 3:40Speaker 2: getting very little coverage and it should get a lot
- 3:42Speaker 2: of coverage. Here's how it begins quote. This report analyzes
- 3:47Speaker 2: the activities and foreign connections of the Shut It Down
- 3:49Speaker 2: for Palestine SID four P movement since its formation in
- 3:54Speaker 2: October twenty twenty three. It examines SID four p's use
- 3:59Speaker 2: of protest, direct action initiatives and sophisticated media campaigns to
- 4:03Speaker 2: advance anti America and anti Israel narratives, both online and offline. Additionally,
- 4:10Speaker 2: it highlights the involvement of a network link to the
- 4:13Speaker 2: Chinese Communist Party that funds and supports both alternative, anti
- 4:19Speaker 2: establishing media organizations promoting anti American initiatives, as well as
- 4:23Speaker 2: seemingly grassroots activist movements such as including SID four P.
- 4:30Speaker 2: So here are the key takeaways and assessments. Number one
- 4:34Speaker 2: SID four p's emergence. Shut It Down for Palestine is
- 4:38Speaker 2: an anti capitalist, anti police, and anti government protest movement
- 4:43Speaker 2: that emerged after October seventh, twenty twenty three. It functions
- 4:47Speaker 2: as a hybrid online real world network for mobilizing frequent
- 4:51Speaker 2: demonstrations as well as a gradually escal escalating direct action
- 4:57Speaker 2: campaigns targeting critical infrastructure and public spaces. Two SID four
- 5:04Speaker 2: p's ties to CCP linked entities. Conveners or organizations operating
- 5:10Speaker 2: under the SID four P umbrella are members of the
- 5:15Speaker 2: Singham Network donor portfolio. The Singham Network is a global
- 5:19Speaker 2: network global web of nonprofits, fiscal sponsors, and alternative news
- 5:24Speaker 2: sources tied to Neville Roy Singham, a known conduit for
- 5:29Speaker 2: CCP geopolitical influence. Three SID four p's funding. The Singham
- 5:36Speaker 2: Network exploits regulatory loopholes in the US nonprofit system to
- 5:40Speaker 2: facilitate the flow of enormous sum of US dollars to
- 5:45Speaker 2: organizations and movements that actively stoke social unrest at the
- 5:50Speaker 2: grassroots level. Four Alternative media and social media strategy. Alternative
- 5:56Speaker 2: media outlets associated with Singham Network have played a central
- 6:00Speaker 2: role in online mobilization and cross platforms social amplification. For
- 6:05Speaker 2: SID four P and five ties to extremist groups. SID
- 6:10Speaker 2: four P has ties to extremist groups that embrace a
- 6:14Speaker 2: violent single state resolution to the Israeli Palestinian conflict. At
- 6:19Speaker 2: least one SID four P convener is linked to the
- 6:22Speaker 2: extreme edge of pro Palestinian groups operating in the US
- 6:27Speaker 2: that advance anti American and anti Jewish agendas. Let me
- 6:32Speaker 2: ask you a question real quick.
- 6:33Speaker 1: If you knew that you were giving money to a
- 6:36Speaker 1: company that was supporting hardcore graftes running for office, if
- 6:40Speaker 1: you knew you were giving money to a company that
- 6:42Speaker 1: was supporting planned parenthood, if you knew that you were
- 6:45Speaker 1: giving money to a company that was giving money to
- 6:47Speaker 1: take away your First and Second Amendment rights, would you
- 6:50Speaker 1: keep doing it and do it every single month? Well,
- 6:53Speaker 1: if you're with Big Mobile, that's exactly what is happening.
- 6:56Speaker 1: You may not realize it, but now you know Big
- 6:59Speaker 1: Mobile support it's big leftist causes, including planned parenthood. And
- 7:04Speaker 1: that's why I want you to make the switch to
- 7:06Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile. For more than a decade, Patriot Mobile has
- 7:10Speaker 1: been America's only Christian conservative wireless provider and the number
- 7:15Speaker 1: one reason why people don't switch cell phone providers. They
- 7:17Speaker 1: think it takes forever. And it used to. You used
- 7:19Speaker 1: to have to go into a store, you had to
- 7:21Speaker 1: sit there, you had to port your number over. It
- 7:22Speaker 1: was exhausting, and so people are like, forget it, I'll
- 7:25Speaker 1: just stick with what I've got. It doesn't work that
- 7:28Speaker 1: way anymore. In fact, you can switch right now to
- 7:30Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile over the phone. It is incredibly easy because
- 7:35Speaker 1: of technology now and you get to keep your same
- 7:38Speaker 1: cell phone number you have and you can keep the
- 7:40Speaker 1: same cell phone you have in your hand right now,
- 7:42Speaker 1: or you can upgrade to a new one. Now, here's
- 7:44Speaker 1: the best part. When you switch to Patriot Mobile, they
- 7:47Speaker 1: actually take about five percent of your bill every month
- 7:49Speaker 1: at no extra cost to you, and they fight for
- 7:53Speaker 1: the values that we believe in. That's right, your bill
- 7:56Speaker 1: every month goes to support free speech, really just freedom,
- 7:59Speaker 1: the same of life, as well as supporting our Second Amendment.
- 8:03Speaker 1: And then they do something else. It's amazing. They stand
- 8:06Speaker 1: with our military veterans, our wounded warriors, and our first
- 8:09Speaker 1: responder heroes. So in essence, when you make a phone call,
- 8:12Speaker 1: when you pay your bill every month, you're standing up
- 8:15Speaker 1: for what you believe in. Just go to Patriot Mobile
- 8:18Speaker 1: dot com slash verdict that's Patriotmobile dot com slash verdict,
- 8:22Speaker 1: or call them at nine seven to two Patriot. That's
- 8:25Speaker 1: nine seven to two Patriot. And here's the other thing.
- 8:27Speaker 1: You'll get free activation when you use the offer code
- 8:31Speaker 1: verdict Patriot Mobile dot com slash verdict or nine to
- 8:34Speaker 1: seven to two Patriot. This is next level and it's
- 8:39Speaker 1: obviously being orchestrated at the highest levels within these governments.
- 8:44Speaker 1: And it's not just China, it's also Cuba that is
- 8:49Speaker 1: involved in this as well, and this seems to be
- 8:51Speaker 1: part two of their master plan. China and I'm guessing
- 8:56Speaker 1: on this one, but based on what we've seen from
- 8:59Speaker 1: disclosures on donations, probably is giving more money to American
- 9:03Speaker 1: universities than any other nation would be my guess. And
- 9:07Speaker 1: if they're not the top, they're probably one, two or three.
- 9:11Speaker 1: I can't even imagine who would be above them. We
- 9:13Speaker 1: see massive money coming into the Ivy League's, massive money
- 9:16Speaker 1: that came in the Biden pen Center. The list goes
- 9:18Speaker 1: on and on. But this is almost like, Okay, how
- 9:21Speaker 1: do we infiltrate a country, how do we change the
- 9:24Speaker 1: opinion of the people in that country, and then how
- 9:27Speaker 1: do we literally have revolutions in that country? And they're
- 9:32Speaker 1: doing it all in front of our very eyes and
- 9:34Speaker 1: no one seems to be stopping it.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Well, that that is right, And if you look at
- 9:39Speaker 2: this report from NCRI, it details how China is spending
- 9:44Speaker 2: millions upwards up potentially one hundred million dollars funding these
- 9:49Speaker 2: protests that are occurring on campuses, that are shutting down bridges,
- 9:52Speaker 2: that are shutting down airports. And you might think, Okay,
- 9:56Speaker 2: what does China care about Hamas, What does China care
- 9:59Speaker 2: about it? And the truth of the matter is they don't.
- 10:02Speaker 2: But they care about America. They care about tearing our
- 10:04Speaker 2: country apart. They care about chaos and fomenting dissent and
- 10:09Speaker 2: dissension that paralyzes our country. Let me read another portion
- 10:13Speaker 2: from this report from the NCRI. Quote. On the evening
- 10:16Speaker 2: of April thirtieth, twenty twenty four, over one hundred activists
- 10:20Speaker 2: gathered at the People's Forum, a far left nonprofit in
- 10:24Speaker 2: Manhattan that describes itself as a quote movement incubator for
- 10:28Speaker 2: working class and marginalized communities, to discuss the ongoing gaza
- 10:32Speaker 2: encampments on university campuses. The activists called on Columbia protesters
- 10:37Speaker 2: to recreate the civil unrest associated with quote the summer
- 10:42Speaker 2: of twenty twenty remember the Summer of Love. Hours later,
- 10:46Speaker 2: Columbia University's Hamilton Hall was forcibly occupied and barricaded. After
- 10:52Speaker 2: the hall was subsequently cleared by law enforcement, the New
- 10:54Speaker 2: York Police Department reported finding industrial grade chains, US masks, earplugs, helmets, goggles, hammers, knives,
- 11:04Speaker 2: and ropes. Following processing, the Washington Post reported per NYPD
- 11:10Speaker 2: that more than twenty five percent of the arrest at
- 11:12Speaker 2: Columbia University and sixty percent at the City College of
- 11:16Speaker 2: New York were not students. This is communist China paying
- 11:23Speaker 2: real money to disrupt America and to sow dissension. And
- 11:28Speaker 2: by the way, this group of conveners, I'll read another
- 11:33Speaker 2: portion of the report. SID four P was established and
- 11:36Speaker 2: structured against the backdrop of increased pro Palestinian activism starting
- 11:40Speaker 2: October twenty twenty three. On November first, SID four P
- 11:45Speaker 2: officially registered its domain shut it down for Palestine dot org,
- 11:49Speaker 2: and launched its site by November sixth. By November ninth,
- 11:53Speaker 2: SID four P publicly list its seven core organizations referred to
- 11:58Speaker 2: as conveners, as well as now numerous organizations referred to
- 12:01Speaker 2: as endorsers, reflecting the confluence of far left and pro
- 12:05Speaker 2: Palestinian radical activism. The official SID four P conveners include
- 12:10Speaker 2: the following groups. One The People's Forum, two Answer Coalition,
- 12:14Speaker 2: three the International People's Assembly, four Alada, New York five
- 12:19Speaker 2: the National Students for Justice in Palestine NSJP, six the
- 12:24Speaker 2: Palestinian Youth Movement, and seven the Palestinian American Community Center
- 12:28Speaker 2: New Jersey. The seven conveners of SID four P can
- 12:32Speaker 2: be divided into two distinct groupings based on ideological affiliation
- 12:35Speaker 2: and fiscal sponsorship. The coalition's far left members, namely the
- 12:39Speaker 2: People's Forum IPA and Answer Coalition, demonstrates significant financial, personnel,
- 12:45Speaker 2: and operational overlap. The remaining four conveners are all pro
- 12:49Speaker 2: Palestinian activist organizations, with at least two NSJP and al
- 12:53Speaker 2: Adwa known to have ties to US designated terrorist organizations.
- 13:00Speaker 2: In addition to NSJP and il a ADA, among SI
- 13:06Speaker 2: D four p's endorsers is Submuduan, which some Western intelligence
- 13:12Speaker 2: services classify as a front for the PFLP, the Popular
- 13:17Speaker 2: Front for the Liberation of Palestine, which is designated as
- 13:20Speaker 2: a foreign terrorist organization by the United States, Germany, and Israel.
- 13:27Speaker 1: So the question that everyone I think that's listening right
- 13:29Speaker 1: now is asking is how is this then legal? And
- 13:32Speaker 1: if there's directies that are going back to terrorism, how
- 13:36Speaker 1: is again this legal? And if foreign finds are coming
- 13:39Speaker 1: in from our adversaries to pay and fund this anarchists
- 13:46Speaker 1: on college campuses. How is that legal? Is there anything
- 13:49Speaker 1: that the government can do to say we're allow this
- 13:52Speaker 1: to happen? And we're talking about the finances.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Of this, well, look, there should be an enormous amount.
- 13:57Speaker 2: The Department of Justice should be investigating this, the FBI
- 14:00Speaker 2: should be investigating this. We've got money coming from communist
- 14:04Speaker 2: China behind these protests, behind these anti American, anti Israel protests.
- 14:08Speaker 2: We've got money coming from organizations that have close ties
- 14:12Speaker 2: to designated terrorist organizations. And so whether it is Hamas
- 14:16Speaker 2: and Hesbela pushing this, whether it is affiliated allies of
- 14:19Speaker 2: their pushing this, whether it is a Ran pushing this,
- 14:22Speaker 2: or whether it's communist China pushing this, the FBI ought
- 14:25Speaker 2: to be all over it. And I got to tell you, Ben,
- 14:28Speaker 2: my level of confidence that the FBI and the Department
- 14:30Speaker 2: of Justice is even looking at this is incredibly low, because, sadly,
- 14:36Speaker 2: this Biden Department of Justice is so politicized that they're
- 14:42Speaker 2: much more interested in tracking down some little old lady
- 14:46Speaker 2: on the National Mall on January sixth who was waving
- 14:48Speaker 2: an American flagging seeing God bless America and finding every
- 14:52Speaker 2: Facebook post she put twenty years ago, than they are
- 14:55Speaker 2: actually interested in finding communist China spending millions of dollars
- 14:58Speaker 2: trying to rip America apart.
- 15:00Speaker 1: And Senator, look, education and quality education and going to
- 15:07Speaker 1: a prestigious school was something that you worked incredibly hard for.
- 15:12Speaker 1: But you now look at what's happened at our colleges.
- 15:16Speaker 1: And I'm talking about it our quote best colleges. How
- 15:20Speaker 1: much of now what we're witnessing with them tolerating all
- 15:25Speaker 1: of these protests the way that they did in the
- 15:27Speaker 1: presence is because maybe they can't say no to the
- 15:31Speaker 1: foreign cash and the amount of foreign cash and therefore
- 15:34Speaker 1: foreign influence it's coming in from these same countries.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Look, the foreign cash is enormous problem. And let me
- 15:43Speaker 2: give you Let's look at the IVY League. So the
- 15:45Speaker 2: Ivy League eight colleges have historically been among the very
- 15:49Speaker 2: best colleges in America. I want us to look at
- 15:52Speaker 2: the percentage of foreign students in the IVY League. So
- 15:56Speaker 2: Brown University, what percent of foreign students do you think
- 15:58Speaker 2: are at Brown? It's got to be twenty percent plus.
- 16:01Speaker 2: I would guess nineteen percent. You're off by point. Okay,
- 16:05Speaker 2: how many students two thousand and ninety eight Columbia University.
- 16:08Speaker 2: What do you think the percentage is at Columbia twenty
- 16:11Speaker 2: five thirty thirty eight percent. You want to know how
- 16:15Speaker 2: many students that is? Fourteen thousand and eighty eight, fourteen
- 16:19Speaker 2: thousand foreign students. Cornell University twenty six percent, Dartmouth College
- 16:24Speaker 2: seventeen percent, Harvard University twenty two percent, Princeton University, Mi
- 16:29Speaker 2: alma mater twenty three percent, University of Pennsylvania twenty three percent,
- 16:33Speaker 2: Yale University twenty four percent. We are talking about thousands
- 16:37Speaker 2: and thousands and tens of thousands of foreign students. Now,
- 16:41Speaker 2: part of the reason the university's like these is because
- 16:44Speaker 2: the foreign students all pay full freight, so it's a
- 16:46Speaker 2: great money making endeavor. But why exactly are we educating
- 16:50Speaker 2: people who among them and not all of the foreign
- 16:53Speaker 2: students are that case? Look, my best friend in college,
- 16:57Speaker 2: who you know well, David Panton, was Jamaica. He was
- 17:00Speaker 2: a Ford and student. He came from Jamaica. He arrived
- 17:02Speaker 2: at Princeton at sixteen. He was the best man at
- 17:05Speaker 2: my wedding. He has been other than Heidi, my best
- 17:08Speaker 2: friend in life. He was a Ford and student. That
- 17:09Speaker 2: was great. That's very different a Jamaican kid who's talented
- 17:14Speaker 2: and wants to go go get a good education. Or
- 17:17Speaker 2: for that matter, my dad in nineteen fifty seven coming
- 17:20Speaker 2: as a student from Cuba to the University of Texas.
- 17:23Speaker 2: He came on a student visa. He came fleeing oppression.
- 17:26Speaker 2: He'd been in prison, he'd been tortured, but he was
- 17:28Speaker 2: coming seeking freedom. That is very different from bringing in
- 17:32Speaker 2: a bunch of radical anti America, anti Israel radicals. Look,
- 17:39Speaker 2: as far as I'm concerned, if you have a student
- 17:43Speaker 2: on a student visa who gets out there and is
- 17:45Speaker 2: burning an American flag and channing death to America, you
- 17:49Speaker 2: should deport him that day. We have no obligation to
- 17:53Speaker 2: allow people to come on student visas, which is permissive.
- 17:56Speaker 2: It is a choice. It is a discretionary choice if
- 17:59Speaker 2: they are going to tear down this country. And part
- 18:01Speaker 2: of the problem with the Ivy League schools is when
- 18:04Speaker 2: you're looking at anywhere from seventeen percent Dartmouth College at
- 18:08Speaker 2: the low point to thirty eight percent Columbia University at
- 18:13Speaker 2: the high point that are foreign students, you have a
- 18:15Speaker 2: bunch of students who are not Americans, and far too
- 18:18Speaker 2: many of them don't give a damn amount American or
- 18:20Speaker 2: trying to tear America down.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Unbelievable bias in this case, and it's another example of that.
- 18:26Speaker 1: I want to tell you real quick about an amazing
- 18:27Speaker 1: organization that I want you to know about, and it
- 18:30Speaker 1: is an organization called it Preborn. When a mother with
- 18:34Speaker 1: an unplanned pregnancy meets her baby on ultrasound and here's
- 18:39Speaker 1: their heartbeat, it is a divine encounter that doubles a
- 18:43Speaker 1: baby's chance at life. By six weeks, eyes are forming
- 18:48Speaker 1: with a baby. By ten weeks, a baby is able
- 18:51Speaker 1: to suck his or her own thumb, and for just
- 18:55Speaker 1: twenty eight dollars, you could be the difference between the
- 18:58Speaker 1: life or death of a child. That is what Preborn does.
- 19:03Speaker 1: They give women the ability to hear their baby's heartbeat
- 19:08Speaker 1: on ultrasound. It's just like putting your hand over your heart.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Right now, you know that you're alive because you can
- 19:14Speaker 1: feel that heartbeat. And the same is for a preborn baby.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Their heart begins to form at conception and at just
- 19:21Speaker 1: three weeks it's already beating. At five weeks, of baby's
- 19:24Speaker 1: heartbeat can be heard on that ultrasound, and that's why
- 19:27Speaker 1: we partnered with Preborn, because we need to help these
- 19:30Speaker 1: precious babies. Every day Preborn's networks of clinics they rescue
- 19:36Speaker 1: two hundred babies from abortion. That is why I want
- 19:41Speaker 1: you to get involved. All gifts are tax seductible. You
- 19:45Speaker 1: can donate by just dialing pound two point fifty and
- 19:49Speaker 1: say the keyword baby. That's pound two fifty say the
- 19:52Speaker 1: keyword baby. Or you can donate securely at preborn dot
- 19:56Speaker 1: com slash verdict. That's preborn dot com slash verdict. Get
- 20:02Speaker 1: in the game. Help fight back against what they're doing
- 20:04Speaker 1: over it planned parenthood. Help the people at Preborn who
- 20:08Speaker 1: are giving mothers a chance to hear their baby's heartbeat
- 20:12Speaker 1: for the very first time. Pound two point fifty on
- 20:15Speaker 1: your phone and then use the keyword baby, or donate
- 20:19Speaker 1: securely at preborn dot com slash verdict sentater. When we
- 20:25Speaker 1: go back to the mar Lago raid, there was outrage
- 20:28Speaker 1: enough just on that happening. Never in my wildest dreams
- 20:33Speaker 1: would I have thought that I would have witnessed the
- 20:36Speaker 1: breaking news that took place. That said, not only did
- 20:40Speaker 1: the Biden administration and the Attorney General Merritt Garland authorize
- 20:45Speaker 1: this raid. But on top of that, they authorized the
- 20:50Speaker 1: use of deadly force.
- 20:52Speaker 2: That's exactly right. According to a filing that was unsealed
- 20:56Speaker 2: this week, here's what it says. Quote. According to an
- 21:01Speaker 2: operations order produced in discovery, the FBI believed its objective
- 21:06Speaker 2: for the Marlago raid was to seize quote classified information,
- 21:11Speaker 2: NDI and US government records, as described in the search warrant.
- 21:15Speaker 2: The order contained a policy statement regarding quote use of
- 21:21Speaker 2: deadly force, which stated, for example, quote law enforcement officers
- 21:26Speaker 2: of the Department of Justice may use deadly force when necessary.
- 21:32Speaker 2: The agents planned to bring quote standard issue weapons AMMO,
- 21:37Speaker 2: handcuffs and medium and large sized bolt cutters, but they
- 21:42Speaker 2: were instructed to wear unmarked polo or collared shirts.
- 21:48Speaker 1: There's so many questions that I have right now. One
- 21:51Speaker 1: of them center is the fact that it's like, were
- 21:54Speaker 1: you setting this up to be a disaster? Because the
- 21:58Speaker 1: Secret Services job is to protect the President of the
- 22:01Speaker 1: United States of America former presidents at all costs. So
- 22:05Speaker 1: if you send in the FBI and you give them this, hey,
- 22:09Speaker 1: you've got authorized to use deadly force in this raid.
- 22:13Speaker 1: And the Secret Service there whose job is to use
- 22:15Speaker 1: deadly force to protect the former president the United States
- 22:18Speaker 1: of America. Why would Merrick Garwin set up that disastrous
- 22:24Speaker 1: situation even be a possibility.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Well, and look, they were anticipating potential conflicts with Secret Service.
- 22:30Speaker 2: So another one of the documents released says contingencies. Should
- 22:35Speaker 2: media be President Marlago, all personnel will refer to MMOSC
- 22:40Speaker 2: and I don't know all these acronyms, and I adhere
- 22:43Speaker 2: to FBI media policy as briefed. Two. Should f potus
- 22:50Speaker 2: former President of the United States arrive at mar A Lago,
- 22:53Speaker 2: FBI mme EM and OSCs will be prepared to engage
- 22:58Speaker 2: with f POTUS and US Secret Service security team so
- 23:02Speaker 2: prepared to engage. Should US Secret Service provide resistance or
- 23:08Speaker 2: interfere with FBI time line or accesses, FBI MMEM will
- 23:15Speaker 2: engage with and it's blocked out. We don't know what
- 23:17Speaker 2: it is and blocked out. Blocked out will engage with
- 23:23Speaker 2: US Secret Services point of contact per existing liaison relationships.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Should mar A Lago guest reception be unwilling to provide
- 23:33Speaker 2: a list of occupied guest rooms, FBI search team will
- 23:37Speaker 2: knock on each guest room door to determine occupation status.
- 23:43Speaker 2: FBI will request a map, list of rooms and skeleton
- 23:47Speaker 2: key slash card for all rooms from mar A Lago
- 23:50Speaker 2: Staff five. An FBI MM slash TTA with lock picking
- 23:56Speaker 2: equipment will be on the scene so their anticipate heating
- 24:00Speaker 2: Secret Service may actively resist the FBI, and they're prepared
- 24:05Speaker 2: to engage, And they're prepared to engage with an order
- 24:08Speaker 2: that explicitly authorizes deadly force, like what in the hell.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Let's remind people of Merrick Garland's own words, he was
- 24:17Speaker 1: very proud of this raid. In August, yes, twenty twenty two.
- 24:23Speaker 1: He went out there Justice Department, you know, insignia behind him,
- 24:28Speaker 1: the Justice Department flag to his left, the American flag
- 24:32Speaker 1: to his right, and he told the world in a
- 24:35Speaker 1: live report everyone carried it this.
- 24:39Speaker 3: There are, however, certain points I want you to know. First,
- 24:45Speaker 3: I personally approved the decision to seek a search warrant
- 24:48Speaker 3: in this matter. Second, the Department does not take such
- 24:53Speaker 3: a decision.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Lightly, clearly not, Senator, because they were planning for the
- 24:58Speaker 1: use of deadly force to possibly be used.
- 25:01Speaker 2: So let me give a caveat defending this in a
- 25:05Speaker 2: tiny respect, and then let me take that caveat away.
- 25:08Speaker 2: The caveat I would give is is is this sort
- 25:11Speaker 2: of authorization. An authorization of use of deadly force is
- 25:15Speaker 2: standard when the FBI is exercising a search warrant. Look,
- 25:20Speaker 2: if you're exercising a search warrant in any context, if
- 25:23Speaker 2: you're going to a drug dealer's house or something else,
- 25:26Speaker 2: there there is a risk of armed resistance, and so
- 25:29Speaker 2: an authorization of of of deadly forces is typical with
- 25:34Speaker 2: with a search warrant. That's the caveat. Now I'm going
- 25:38Speaker 2: to take back every so little of every word of
- 25:40Speaker 2: what I just said. Holy crap, this was the President
- 25:43Speaker 2: of the United States. Are you out of your mind?
- 25:47Speaker 2: Like like like this is And for Merrick Garland to
- 25:51Speaker 2: say I personally approved it the absolute hubris of this administration. Listen,
- 25:59Speaker 2: Merrick Garland is drunk with power. He believes he should
- 26:02Speaker 2: be on the Supreme Court, and he is engaged in
- 26:05Speaker 2: a global revenge tour against everyone he thinks who wronged him.
- 26:10Speaker 2: But is there no judgment on the part of the
- 26:14Speaker 2: Attorney general. Is there no judgment on the part of
- 26:17Speaker 2: the Deputy Attorney General? Is there no judgment on the
- 26:20Speaker 2: part of any advisors anywhere at DOJ. Is there no
- 26:23Speaker 2: judgment on the part of the head of the FBI.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Is there no judgment on the part of anyone involved
- 26:28Speaker 2: in this process to say, you know, this guy was
- 26:32Speaker 2: the president of the United States Secret Services guarding him
- 26:39Speaker 2: for a reason. Yeah, maybe we should not be authorizing
- 26:46Speaker 2: deadly for uced like can you imagine listen.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Well, can you speak to the chain of command just
- 26:52Speaker 1: for people to understand this. Merrick Garland's over the FBI,
- 26:55Speaker 1: but also isn't he over the Secret Service as well?
- 26:59Speaker 1: Is that not un his No?
- 27:01Speaker 2: No, Actually secret Service reports us, so they're in different
- 27:05Speaker 2: different silos.
- 27:06Speaker 1: So, but wouldn't he be talking or realizing that he's
- 27:10Speaker 1: setting them up for a war?
- 27:13Speaker 2: You know, I don't know, and listen, it is difficult
- 27:17Speaker 2: to imagine. Look, who knows what happens. But the idea
- 27:21Speaker 2: that okay, if Secret Service resists, you guys go like that,
- 27:26Speaker 2: there is no sense. And this reminds me back at
- 27:30Speaker 2: the beginning of Crossfire Hurricane. Crossfire Hurricane, you remember, was
- 27:34Speaker 2: the DOJ and FBI targeting the Trump campaign back when
- 27:37Speaker 2: he was a candidate. They went after him, and they
- 27:40Speaker 2: went in and wire tapped him, and they went after
- 27:42Speaker 2: Carter Page and they created fraudulent documents that they used
- 27:45Speaker 2: to get a warrant from the fiz of Court. I mean,
- 27:47Speaker 2: it was a grotesque abuse of power that the Department
- 27:51Speaker 2: of Justice Inspector General detailed in very painstaking detail.
- 27:57Speaker 1: And the media gave cover because they said Donald Trump
- 27:59Speaker 1: was crazy. You imply that he was being spied on,
- 28:03Speaker 1: his campaign was being spied on. They said he was
- 28:05Speaker 1: a lunatic. In fact, he was right the entire time.
- 28:07Speaker 2: He was exactly right. But look, when you go back
- 28:11Speaker 2: to the launch of Crossfire Hurricane part of the problem,
- 28:14Speaker 2: and this goes to DOJ during Obama when this all
- 28:17Speaker 2: started an FBI during Obama, there were no adults in
- 28:22Speaker 2: the room. Listen, there are circumstances you could imagine where
- 28:27Speaker 2: a criminal investigation, a search, warrant of prosecution has to
- 28:31Speaker 2: be authorized against a high level of government official, but
- 28:35Speaker 2: especially when that high level official is in the opposing party,
- 28:39Speaker 2: especially when that high level official is the leading candidate
- 28:44Speaker 2: for the opposing party and the likely opponent for the
- 28:48Speaker 2: sitting president. When you're going after your political opposition, the
- 28:52Speaker 2: threshold for anything should be extraordinarily high, and it wasn't
- 29:01Speaker 2: at all based on some ridiculous, half baked OPO research
- 29:07Speaker 2: paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign that contained the
- 29:11Speaker 2: notorious P tape and all that nonsense, which has all
- 29:14Speaker 2: been debunked. We now know it was all made up.
- 29:16Speaker 2: But look, when the Hillary Clinton campaign pays over a
- 29:19Speaker 2: million bucks to make up OPO research, they come up
- 29:21Speaker 2: with some creative stuff.
- 29:23Speaker 1: When you look at this, this is going to be
- 29:26Speaker 1: and it has to be. I would assume a major
- 29:28Speaker 1: campaign issue, especially in the presidential campaign. I can't imagine
- 29:32Speaker 1: this not coming up of the presidential debates. But there
- 29:35Speaker 1: also seems to be panic right now. In response to this,
- 29:40Speaker 1: Jim Comey went on MSNBC and said this, take a listen.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Are you concerned that it may get a test unlike
- 29:50Speaker 1: any other if.
- 29:51Speaker 3: Donald Trump is reelected.
- 29:53Speaker 1: I mean, when you think about a second Trump administration,
- 29:55Speaker 1: what do you think the implications would be for the FBI?
- 29:59Speaker 4: Oh? Serious, for the Justice Department and the FBI, because
- 30:02Speaker 4: Trump is coming for those institutions. He knows their power,
- 30:05Speaker 4: and I think he has regrets that he didn't work
- 30:07Speaker 4: hard enough to corrupt them last time. So he's coming
- 30:10Speaker 4: for them, and that's a danger for all Americans. He's
- 30:13Speaker 4: going to put people in positions in those organizations. He
- 30:16Speaker 4: didn't have all stars the last time. He'll have the
- 30:18Speaker 4: bottom of the barrel this time, but people who will
- 30:21Speaker 4: want to do his will, and that should weary every American.
- 30:24Speaker 4: This election matters because of a reason like that. People
- 30:28Speaker 4: have to participate. You cannot sit on the sideline. I
- 30:31Speaker 4: don't care how you feel about Joe Biden. You must
- 30:34Speaker 4: vote for him because the consequences on the other side
- 30:37Speaker 4: are too severe.
- 30:38Speaker 1: I don't care how you feel about Joe Biden, you
- 30:40Speaker 1: must vote for him. That's the former FBI director saying
- 30:42Speaker 1: that Senator.
- 30:44Speaker 2: Well, and when he talks about corrupting the FBI, I
- 30:47Speaker 2: will say, listen. I would admit Jim Comey as an
- 30:50Speaker 2: expert witness at any trial of the planet on corrupting
- 30:53Speaker 2: the FBI, because he was front and center. He did
- 30:55Speaker 2: exactly that. He was the point person behind weaponizing the FBI.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Jim Komy as someone who fancies himself I believe to
- 31:02Speaker 2: be j Edgar Hoover. He had delusions of power. It
- 31:06Speaker 2: is one of the gravest mistakes of the first term
- 31:09Speaker 2: of the Trump presidency that Trump did not fire Jim
- 31:14Speaker 2: Comy on January twentieth, twenty seventeen, the first day in office.
- 31:18Speaker 2: He should have said, thank you for your service to
- 31:20Speaker 2: the nation. Your services are no longer needed. Nobody would
- 31:22Speaker 2: have blinked. But the White House foolishly thought they could
- 31:27Speaker 2: get Komy to be part of the administration, to do
- 31:31Speaker 2: his job, to not be a disloyal, power hungry snake,
- 31:36Speaker 2: and they were wrong. He's continuing to do that. And
- 31:40Speaker 2: by the way, let's understand there's an enormous amount of
- 31:42Speaker 2: CYA in Komy and that he's very afraid if they
- 31:46Speaker 2: have accountability at the FBI, that his personal rear end
- 31:51Speaker 2: is in the sling. And so that's he's like, please, please,
- 31:54Speaker 2: please make sure you put people in power that cover
- 31:56Speaker 2: up for me and that continue the corruption of the
- 31:58Speaker 2: FBI and continue weapon to get to attack their enemies,
- 32:01Speaker 2: because that's what I did, and I don't want to
- 32:03Speaker 2: be held for account. That's among the most self interested
- 32:06Speaker 2: testimony I've ever heard.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Final question on this now, knowing what we know about
- 32:11Speaker 1: the raid, is it warranted and justifiable if Donald Trump
- 32:17Speaker 1: is elected again for him to go in in thoroughly
- 32:21Speaker 1: clean house in these institutions.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Warranted, justifiable and incredibly necessary. What has happened is we
- 32:30Speaker 2: have hardcore partisans who have corrupted these institutions from the inside.
- 32:36Speaker 2: They occupy senior positions in the career bureaucracy. And if
- 32:41Speaker 2: Trump is reelected, and I hope and pray that he is,
- 32:44Speaker 2: he needs to appoint serious, strong leaders at DOJ, at
- 32:48Speaker 2: the FBI, and the rest of the alphabet soup of
- 32:51Speaker 2: the administration who understand what they're doing, who have the
- 32:53Speaker 2: seriousness of purpose to go in and clean them out,
- 32:57Speaker 2: because we need to restore the institution. Listen that there
- 33:00Speaker 2: are some Republican some conservatives that say things like abolish
- 33:05Speaker 2: the FBI. I'm not in that camp. Why Because the
- 33:09Speaker 2: FBI is enormously important. The FBI does hugely important things
- 33:14Speaker 2: like finding and catching terrorists and stopping them from killing Americans.
- 33:18Speaker 2: It does hugely important things like finding kidnappers and child predators,
- 33:23Speaker 2: and going after the mafia and mobsters and going after
- 33:26Speaker 2: Mexican drug cartales, like all of that is really damn important,
- 33:30Speaker 2: and I don't want to blow that up. What I
- 33:34Speaker 2: want to do is restore the integrity of the FBI
- 33:37Speaker 2: and the DOJ by getting the partisans out of office
- 33:41Speaker 2: who have corrupted it. As you know, Chris Ray, the
- 33:43Speaker 2: current director of the FBI. I've known for twenty five years. Chris. Interestingly,
- 33:49Speaker 2: Chris is not a Liberal. He's a Republican. He still
- 33:52Speaker 2: considers himself a Republican to this day. Chris's problem, I believe,
- 33:56Speaker 2: is that he is a company man. Now, look, Donald
- 33:58Speaker 2: Trump put him in that position. He pointed him to
- 34:00Speaker 2: that position. Chris is a company man, and he is.
- 34:03Speaker 2: He and I have had screaming arguments on this where
- 34:07Speaker 2: he believes it is his job as administrator of the FBI,
- 34:10Speaker 2: director of the FBI to defend the career leaders at
- 34:15Speaker 2: the FBI, And I've told him, Chris, you are not
- 34:17Speaker 2: defending the institution of the FBI if you support people
- 34:21Speaker 2: who are corrupting it and destroying its integrity. What does
- 34:24Speaker 2: it tell you that half of America doesn't trust the
- 34:26Speaker 2: institution anymore because you've been so politicized. And he has
- 34:32Speaker 2: proven utterly incapable of seeing it and even less capable
- 34:36Speaker 2: of taking it on and stopping.
- 34:38Speaker 1: So, if you're like me and you love to go shooting,
- 34:40Speaker 1: you're a hunter, maybe you just like to practice shooting.
