- 0:59Speaker 1: because Andrew Commons Thank you so much. For having me,
- 1:04Speaker 1: thanks for having me. Well, first of all, thank you
- 1:06Speaker 1: you on the West Coast. You're based in Oakland, California. Yes,
- 1:10Speaker 1: I'm here, um right across from San Francisco and go Warriors.
- 1:17Speaker 1: That's the good thing. But I don't think the Warriors
- 1:21Speaker 1: are keeping you in Oakland, California. In California. Why Oakland California. Uh, well,
- 1:27Speaker 1: you're well, you're just like using social media, using the
- 1:30Speaker 1: internet to build your brand. But while Oakland, California, why
- 1:33Speaker 1: are you? Why are you there? Um? Well, I'm here
- 1:37Speaker 1: because this is home for me and there's no place
- 1:39Speaker 1: like home. So you know, Um, I came back because
- 1:43Speaker 1: there's a certain type of energy, there's a certain type
- 1:46Speaker 1: of grit that I learned while being here, and I
- 1:49Speaker 1: felt like I needed that energy once again in my life.
- 1:53Speaker 1: So I circled back after making a few pitch stops,
- 1:56Speaker 1: and I'm back home now. Those pitch stops. I always
- 1:59Speaker 1: tell people like I've lived in New York, I've lived
- 2:01Speaker 1: in Chicago. I've really lived I mean years, lived in
- 2:04Speaker 1: Los Angeles the longest fifteen years, and presently I've been
- 2:08Speaker 1: in Atlanti since two thousand seven, so it's about fifteen years. Here,
- 2:13Speaker 1: but I'm originally from Houston, Texas. Each stop, maybe a
- 2:16Speaker 1: better person, maybe understand that different people in different parts
- 2:20Speaker 1: of this country think differently, have a different set of
- 2:22Speaker 1: cultural rules, and also have different dreams. In your travels
- 2:26Speaker 1: and the places that you said you had these pitch stops,
- 2:29Speaker 1: how did they impact you and made you the person
- 2:31Speaker 1: that you are today? Well, I had a couple of
- 2:34Speaker 1: pit stops. I too, lived in l a Form quite
- 2:38Speaker 1: a long time. I think it was about ten years.
- 2:40Speaker 1: I finished school down there at USC and then from USC,
- 2:44Speaker 1: I wasn't quite ready to go home yet, and so
- 2:48Speaker 1: I ventured out to Houston, Texas. I actually was pursuing
- 2:52Speaker 1: a career as a broadcast journalist, and so I had
- 2:55Speaker 1: some opportunities to go out there and really work on
- 2:59Speaker 1: the craft of becoming a news reporter and had dreams
- 3:03Speaker 1: of becoming a news anchor. And then I had to
- 3:07Speaker 1: grow up. I had to actually go back to what
- 3:09Speaker 1: I knew best, and that was, you know, the money industry,
- 3:13Speaker 1: and ended up coming back to the West Coast, where um,
- 3:17Speaker 1: I started my career in financial services with a I
- 3:20Speaker 1: g Well, you know, I don't really use the word
- 3:23Speaker 1: grow up, you know, because a lot of people if
- 3:26Speaker 1: that was kids, a lot of people out there immature.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I think that the realization of where your true gifts
- 3:31Speaker 1: or your challenge. That's why I talk about your gifts
- 3:33Speaker 1: or your purpose. You know, be with it. You know
- 3:35Speaker 1: that's what you're doing now. You're leading with your true
- 3:37Speaker 1: gifts just because you want to do something like I
- 3:39Speaker 1: wanted to play basketball, but I just knew that that
- 3:43Speaker 1: wasn't my gift, nor was that my purpose. And so
- 3:46Speaker 1: what you just realized is that this is my true
- 3:48Speaker 1: gift take advantage of I remember I would tell I
- 3:50Speaker 1: wrote on my I was living in the l A
- 3:52Speaker 1: was October nine nine one, and I had a said, guard,
- 3:56Speaker 1: if you allow me to maximize all of my talents,
- 4:00Speaker 1: and I will follow the talent that will lead me
- 4:02Speaker 1: to my where I was supposed to go. Because we
- 4:05Speaker 1: all if we if when we were young, we have
- 4:07Speaker 1: so many visions of grandeur about what we can do well,
- 4:11Speaker 1: but no goal are tied. It's tied to it. That's
- 4:14Speaker 1: what I felt that you're back in the financial world
- 4:16Speaker 1: because you put goals to it, and the goals come expectations,
- 4:21Speaker 1: and we reached out the expectation you start reaping results.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Whereas I was one time in the entertainment business, I
- 4:27Speaker 1: was a very successful stand up comic. I just didn't
- 4:30Speaker 1: I couldn't become goal order with that. You're going for audition,
- 4:34Speaker 1: then he tell you some people said they like it,
- 4:36Speaker 1: and they don't call you back. They call you back,
- 4:38Speaker 1: then somebody else gets it. So I can't tie goals
- 4:40Speaker 1: to that. I'm just a logical thinking person. So I
- 4:43Speaker 1: just think you're just a logical thinking person and my
- 4:45Speaker 1: correct Scassandra, absolutely, but you know, make no mistake about it.
- 4:50Speaker 1: I've definitely endured a lot of rejection um that was
- 4:54Speaker 1: really filled in the news broadcasting world, got a lot
- 4:58Speaker 1: of notes sent out, a lot of demot aids UM.
- 5:01Speaker 1: And I would have, you know, have to say that's
- 5:03Speaker 1: been the case even in financial services. You have a
- 5:06Speaker 1: lot of clients that don't necessarily established rapport with you,
- 5:10Speaker 1: they don't necessarily want to work to you. That's just
- 5:13Speaker 1: you know, a sotal form of rejection as well. And
- 5:16Speaker 1: I mean I too have fire clients because it just
- 5:19Speaker 1: wasn't a good personality fit or you know, they were
- 5:22Speaker 1: looking for something that I may not be able to
- 5:24Speaker 1: successfully deliver on. So I mean I think it's just
- 5:28Speaker 1: everyday part of life dealing with those nose. And those
- 5:31Speaker 1: nose they make you pivot, so you end up having
- 5:35Speaker 1: to change course. And that's okay because sometimes when one
- 5:39Speaker 1: door closes, right as they say, another door opens, and
- 5:42Speaker 1: sometimes it could be the grand prize in that new door.
- 5:47Speaker 1: I agree, I agree, And I think that a lot
- 5:49Speaker 1: of people don't realize that, you know, they feel they'd
- 5:51Speaker 1: be They allow themselves to be blindsided by what your
- 5:55Speaker 1: own goals, and the goals might not be the right
- 5:58Speaker 1: goal from them. I know that, and that's why I
- 6:00Speaker 1: wanted to bring you on the show because just looking
- 6:02Speaker 1: at your your body of work, it has it has
- 6:05Speaker 1: tied to Joney's tied to decision making, and often times
- 6:09Speaker 1: when you are and I just say that, when you
- 6:11Speaker 1: are an attractive woman, then a lot of people will
- 6:13Speaker 1: not give you the credit do credit because of your attractiveness.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Am I wrong and making those statements like that? Absolutely? Um.
- 6:22Speaker 1: I've always sort of played my beauty down a little
- 6:25Speaker 1: bit um for the most part, and I would say
- 6:29Speaker 1: in recent years, I told myself, I'm not playing small.
- 6:32Speaker 1: This is who I am. Right that just so happens
- 6:35Speaker 1: that I have the brains that comes with a pretty face,
- 6:39Speaker 1: and I need to actually use that as an asset.
- 6:42Speaker 1: You are trying to uggly yourself up, no mo huk,
- 6:44Speaker 1: because then well, you know, I just you know, just
- 6:48Speaker 1: learn how to put on some eyelash, some laws. But
- 6:52Speaker 1: before then, you know, it was just really like, you know,
- 6:57Speaker 1: this is who I am. It come from Oakland. You know,
- 7:01Speaker 1: we don't do a lot of beautification here. I would say,
- 7:04Speaker 1: you know, we grew up, wasn't a lot of you know,
- 7:07Speaker 1: provocative clothing and things like that. We were really from
- 7:11Speaker 1: the town and we had a different way of maneuvering
- 7:15Speaker 1: here that didn't really require you to flex your beauty.
- 7:19Speaker 1: You really had to show improve in different ways and
- 7:21Speaker 1: not leave with your face. So I learned that. But
- 7:25Speaker 1: as I started to make those pit stops, I saw
- 7:28Speaker 1: really how advantageous you know, pretty as privileges, and I
- 7:32Speaker 1: really needed to use that to my advantage absolutely, you know,
- 7:35Speaker 1: like saying, look at me, I got my suit on.
- 7:36Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, I'm trying to pretty. I'm
- 7:40Speaker 1: trying to look as pretty as I can. So you're
- 7:42Speaker 1: talking to you looking hands to think I like that.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I like that because you know, as we go through life,
- 7:50Speaker 1: you know, you have to like put all of your
- 7:53Speaker 1: all your bullets in the gun. You know what I'm saying,
- 7:55Speaker 1: It's just start shooting, and you want you shooting your
- 7:58Speaker 1: best shot and so and so. That's but the one
- 8:01Speaker 1: thing that we know that that you leave with is
- 8:03Speaker 1: your intellect. When you leave with your brand, you leave
- 8:06Speaker 1: with the fact that you have you can provide a
- 8:09Speaker 1: strategy or f natural goals that can change people's lives.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Tell a little bit of how you came to be
- 8:15Speaker 1: a wealth and investment strategist. It was really from my
- 8:18Speaker 1: college mentor. Her name is Angela, and I mean this
- 8:24Speaker 1: woman is was a powerhouse, and you know, I wanted
- 8:30Speaker 1: to emulate her. And I saw her moving and shaking.
- 8:34Speaker 1: She was a bond trader here um at Citing Stock Exchange.
- 8:38Speaker 1: She worked in finance, and I was like, I want
- 8:41Speaker 1: to be like her when I grow up because I
- 8:44Speaker 1: came from you know, very humble beginnings for on welfare
- 8:48Speaker 1: and I had an opportunity to now have a mentor
- 8:52Speaker 1: have someone that could you know, get my foot in
- 8:55Speaker 1: the door and really show me the ropes um. And
- 8:58Speaker 1: so that was really my introduction to financial services. It
- 9:02Speaker 1: was my introduction to really putting myself out there to
- 9:07Speaker 1: help others. She is so generous with her time, with
- 9:10Speaker 1: her knowledge, and that's something that I just wanted to
- 9:13Speaker 1: emulate and it just really became a part of who
- 9:16Speaker 1: I am. Now we'll be right back with more Money
- 9:19Speaker 1: Making Conversations Masterclass with Rushan McDonald. Now, let's return to
- 9:25Speaker 1: Money Making Conversations Masterclass with Rushan McDonald. Now, and you
- 9:30Speaker 1: say who you are? So now you are a mentor? Yes,
- 9:34Speaker 1: now you are a leader. Now responsibility comes with that. Yes,
- 9:43Speaker 1: I mean I never imagined the impact that I would have,
- 9:47Speaker 1: Like I saw the impact she had, but I think
- 9:51Speaker 1: I have definitely ten x that in it. I definitely
- 9:54Speaker 1: did had impact on you before you know, social media
- 9:57Speaker 1: got out there, you know for the then that became
- 10:00Speaker 1: the craze. So you know, she shehart, she's a lot
- 10:04Speaker 1: more intimate, a lot more personal or now you know,
- 10:07Speaker 1: you post up on lengthdin, you post up on social media,
- 10:10Speaker 1: people a d M, you and all these things and
- 10:13Speaker 1: whether you will respond to them or not, sometimes you
- 10:15Speaker 1: don't want to, and sometimes you have to something. Yes,
- 10:18Speaker 1: people to follow you to build your brand and your relationship.
- 10:21Speaker 1: That that's the world you live into. Now you're you're
- 10:24Speaker 1: the founder of the Stocks and Stilato Society. What exactly
- 10:28Speaker 1: is that? So it's an online community of women investors.
- 10:32Speaker 1: And I mean we've got women in there who are
- 10:35Speaker 1: at the very beginning of their investing journey, haven't even
- 10:38Speaker 1: bought their first stock. We've got women who are in
- 10:41Speaker 1: there with you know, multimillion dollar portfolios. So there are
- 10:45Speaker 1: black women in there that run the gamut. And we
- 10:47Speaker 1: really wanted to create this space where women could really
- 10:51Speaker 1: feel comfortable about talking about money, whether it would be
- 10:54Speaker 1: questions like you know, how do you even buy a
- 10:56Speaker 1: stop too? You know, I need to do a tax
- 11:00Speaker 1: loss harvesting. And so we wanted to create that space
- 11:03Speaker 1: where women who were well seasoned and investing could also
- 11:08Speaker 1: help and embrace the ones who were coming up in
- 11:11Speaker 1: this investing game. And I think this community has done
- 11:15Speaker 1: a great job of making sure that we leave no
- 11:18Speaker 1: system behind. Now, when you say one hundred women investors,
- 11:24Speaker 1: is that a is that a newsletter? Is there a
- 11:27Speaker 1: Facebook club? Where where are these? Where are these one
- 11:31Speaker 1: hundred thousand women apologizes? So we have currently we have
- 11:35Speaker 1: about nineties six thousand in a Facebook groups. Yeah, yeah,
- 11:41Speaker 1: and then we have about eighteen thousand on our Facebook page,
- 11:45Speaker 1: and we have about forty thousand on Instagram, and so collectively,
- 11:50Speaker 1: when we look across all of our social media platforms,
- 11:54Speaker 1: some huge numbers. Now I'm just gonna let you know
- 11:57Speaker 1: that you know, this is this is this is ninety
- 12:00Speaker 1: six thousand in your Facebook group, which is you know,
- 12:03Speaker 1: if you watch Facebook, there were a lot of commercials
- 12:05Speaker 1: encouraging people to join groups, you know, and then you
- 12:08Speaker 1: also on your Facebook page you have eighteen thousand, and
- 12:14Speaker 1: then on Instagram you got another forty thou Yeah, Now
- 12:19Speaker 1: do you all do uh retreats? We do? We um
- 12:25Speaker 1: what we do a signature event called the Stocks to
- 12:28Speaker 1: Star some in in Vegas every year October six through
- 12:31Speaker 1: the AID or the first weekend in October. And it
- 12:35Speaker 1: is a party unlike any other. I mean, I've never
- 12:38Speaker 1: seen a group of women come together around the idea
- 12:42Speaker 1: of investing and have so much fun. And we learn
- 12:46Speaker 1: from some of the top people in the industry. So
- 12:49Speaker 1: it's folks, and you know, I call it entertainment. We
- 12:52Speaker 1: come out, we have a good time, we learn how
- 12:54Speaker 1: to grow our money, and then we get to business.
- 12:56Speaker 1: We get down to business after we leave there. Okay,
- 12:59Speaker 1: now October six through the Okay, in our in Vegas.
- 13:04Speaker 1: What hotel y'all at? We got one of the best
- 13:14Speaker 1: buffets and vegans. I'm a buffet. I love buffaith I
- 13:17Speaker 1: love buffet's already hotel, I got one of the best buffeties.
- 13:20Speaker 1: I mean, you go in there. They got it all
- 13:22Speaker 1: up in there. Now, I just wanted to test thee
- 13:27Speaker 1: You're my only thing with Cassandra comference. You know, I'm
- 13:29Speaker 1: testing her. You know, you know the people come on
- 13:31Speaker 1: this show, you know they throw our numbers all the time,
- 13:34Speaker 1: and actually you know, well you know I'm trying. I'm trying,
- 13:37Speaker 1: but she has just she just set me back. You know,
- 13:39Speaker 1: where were showing six thousand. You can round up if
- 13:42Speaker 1: you want to. You you you got you know, mad
- 13:44Speaker 1: that's a that's either way. You see anything above point five,
- 13:48Speaker 1: you round up anyway. That's okay. Now, if you really
- 13:53Speaker 1: if you really think I'm front eighteen thousand sitting over there, okay,
- 13:57Speaker 1: if you really think in front of forty thousand sitting
- 13:59Speaker 1: over there now, if you really think up front Vegas,
- 14:01Speaker 1: you know, as a multi day event, you know, I
- 14:04Speaker 1: told me six through the egg you know at the Aria.
- 14:08Speaker 1: You know we're not off the beaten track with the Aria.
- 14:12Speaker 1: You know when you going there, everything everything is controlling
- 14:14Speaker 1: that hotel room by the phone, the phone controlled everything,
- 14:18Speaker 1: turn back through lives, the every lives open, the front door,
- 14:22Speaker 1: back door, back and then Lord of Shade everything the Aria.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I know exactly when you're at whoa, we all on
- 14:29Speaker 1: the strip, on the strip. I love it. So how
- 14:34Speaker 1: long after you have this? Uh? The Stocks and Stiletto
- 14:37Speaker 1: Society has been around And when did this start? Uh? Well,
- 14:42Speaker 1: we've been around since two thousand and sixteen, so six years.
- 14:46Speaker 1: And it started after I left Morrow Ledge. I was
- 14:50Speaker 1: talking with a friend and I was just telling drop
- 14:55Speaker 1: name again. She dropped the area. Just see, I just
- 14:58Speaker 1: love talking she just drops his name. I left, Marylynch,
- 15:01Speaker 1: you know, just left. I just I had something to do.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Oakland girl here. I just started winning Live Floss and
- 15:06Speaker 1: Eland a couple of weeks ago. You know, I've been
- 15:10Speaker 1: winning naturally I've been winning naturalizes. So so I'm making
- 15:19Speaker 1: money over here, absolutely so. So. Meryl Lynch. And the
- 15:23Speaker 1: reason the reason I bring that up because of the
- 15:25Speaker 1: fact that in order to get respect you have to
- 15:28Speaker 1: be respectable brands, And when you with respectable brands and
- 15:33Speaker 1: you made the decision to lead a respectable you have
- 15:36Speaker 1: to have a goal. Now that goal might not happen immediately,
- 15:39Speaker 1: but you know that, Okay, what they're doing doesn't fulfill me.
- 15:44Speaker 1: There's a lot of people watch my show, listen to
- 15:46Speaker 1: my show, the trapped in jobs because they're afraid to change,
- 15:51Speaker 1: They're afraid of the unknown. I'm pretty sure there was
- 15:54Speaker 1: some fear tied to this. How did you overcome that
- 15:57Speaker 1: dear of the unknown? Consentrac You know, I would have
- 16:01Speaker 1: to say it had to be my circle. You know,
- 16:04Speaker 1: it was my circle that was rooting for me. They
- 16:06Speaker 1: were my cheerleaders. They were like, you got this, sis,
- 16:10Speaker 1: You're gonna do this. And I had a very difficult
- 16:13Speaker 1: time really finding my lane afterwards because I had been
- 16:17Speaker 1: trained to do things a certain way, and so I
- 16:20Speaker 1: had to unlearn those things and reprogram myself to to
- 16:24Speaker 1: really go out here and serve in a different capacity.
- 16:28Speaker 1: And so it took me about a year to kind
- 16:30Speaker 1: of catch my footing. But I did have a conversation
- 16:33Speaker 1: with one friend and she was like, you need to
- 16:35Speaker 1: start a Facebook group, and I'm like, what is that
- 16:37Speaker 1: You know, because we couldn't really be on social media
- 16:40Speaker 1: like that with the firm. And once I opened up
- 16:45Speaker 1: the Facebook group, I had about fifty people and before
- 16:48Speaker 1: I knew it, I had like five thousand people and
- 16:50Speaker 1: it just took off from there. That is awesome as awesome. Now,
- 16:54Speaker 1: let's go back to the Las Vegas event. Yeah, and
- 16:58Speaker 1: what we're prompted that type of retreat and you know
- 17:02Speaker 1: we talked, we really didn't go take Can you break
- 17:04Speaker 1: down what happens on each day or they're like seminars
- 17:08Speaker 1: and speakers because I know there's entertainment in Vegas. There's entertainment.
- 17:13Speaker 1: What what is the what is the take away from
- 17:15Speaker 1: that type of event from a standpoint of education? Yeah, so, um,
- 17:22Speaker 1: we make sure you get municated, sure in a different
- 17:25Speaker 1: realms of investing. So Day one is our v I
- 17:28Speaker 1: P Day. They come out and they actually have two
- 17:30Speaker 1: master classes. So we have two amazing speakers come out
- 17:34Speaker 1: and they both teach our V I P ladies something.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Um that's gonna help propel them right. And then when
- 17:41Speaker 1: we get today too, which is the general sessions, we
- 17:45Speaker 1: basically have morning breakout sessions and that's gonna be either
- 17:49Speaker 1: between options or day trading, and then we have afternoon
- 17:54Speaker 1: breakout sessions and that's gonna be really centered around UM.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Let me remember, UM, I can't remember off the top
- 18:02Speaker 1: of my head, but we have to probably like crypto
- 18:05Speaker 1: and something else right that side hustles, So crypto inside hustles.
- 18:11Speaker 1: So morning we do options and day trading. In the
- 18:14Speaker 1: afternoon we do crypto and UM side hustles. Then on
- 18:19Speaker 1: the third day is when we have our panels. So
- 18:23Speaker 1: we have a real estate panel, we have an angel
- 18:25Speaker 1: investing panel, UM, we have a entrepreneurship panel this year. UM,
- 18:31Speaker 1: we talk about a lot of things that help women
- 18:34Speaker 1: take have some takeaways that they can actually go and
- 18:38Speaker 1: act on right away. So we give them actionable gems.
- 18:42Speaker 1: And it's not a bunch of fluff. You know. I'm
- 18:44Speaker 1: really big on, you know, getting away from the ro
- 18:48Speaker 1: ra rod and stuff like. I want people to have
- 18:51Speaker 1: things that they can't go and put into place when
- 18:53Speaker 1: they leave this event. We'll be right back with more
- 18:56Speaker 1: Money Making Conversations Masterclass with Rushan mc donald. Now let's
- 19:02Speaker 1: return to Money Making Conversations Masterclass with Rashan McDonald. Lem
- 19:08Speaker 1: gonna tell you something, you know, because I'm really impressed
- 19:11Speaker 1: with you and not saying that it wasn't impressed with
- 19:13Speaker 1: you before you came on the show. But you have
- 19:15Speaker 1: a certain style. I think it's very um, very comfortable.
- 19:19Speaker 1: I think that's important, especially dealing with your money, people money.
- 19:23Speaker 1: You want to be comfortable on somebody you giving your
- 19:25Speaker 1: money to. Don't everyone be nervous about across the table
- 19:31Speaker 1: with anybody now? Bit coin and cryptocurrenty, Okay, Lord knows
- 19:36Speaker 1: the Black community keeps getting left behind because we don't know,
- 19:39Speaker 1: we don't trust you know, Lord, you know we we
- 19:42Speaker 1: just took our money out of the mattress, you know,
- 19:45Speaker 1: thirty years ago, Okay, and we're still in black communities
- 19:49Speaker 1: dealing with these check cash and places and don't know
- 19:52Speaker 1: anything about apps, don't even know anything about zell anything. Okay,
- 19:57Speaker 1: this is true talk. Okay. I want to want to
- 20:00Speaker 1: turn into a couple of a couple of things into
- 20:02Speaker 1: little snippets for you. Can you talk to the black
- 20:05Speaker 1: community a boy, why they should be involved with the
- 20:08Speaker 1: bigcoin and then separately talk to them about cryptocurrency. Uh? Well,
- 20:13Speaker 1: bitcoin is definitely the granddaddy of cryptocurrency. Um, it's been around,
- 20:18Speaker 1: I believe about twenty years now. It's been around for
- 20:22Speaker 1: a long time, twelve maybe twelve years, and so you know,
- 20:26Speaker 1: like I say, with bitcoin, it takes time to get
- 20:30Speaker 1: to a certain level of you know, investment success with anything, right,
- 20:35Speaker 1: you've got to have sort of like this long term view,
- 20:38Speaker 1: even with crypto. So bitcoin has definitely gotten a lot
- 20:42Speaker 1: of buzz, a lot of media attention and things like
- 20:45Speaker 1: that because it has definitely come into its time, right,
- 20:50Speaker 1: it's a forty something thousands now. If you want to
- 20:53Speaker 1: buy bitcoin, you can still buy bitcoin. You don't have
- 20:56Speaker 1: to buy a full point. So if you want to
- 20:58Speaker 1: put a thousand dollars on bitcoin, five hundred dollars on
- 21:01Speaker 1: big point, you can, and you can still you know,
- 21:04Speaker 1: make money off of that. There are tons of all
- 21:07Speaker 1: coins we call those are all coins, and so those
- 21:10Speaker 1: are your dolge coins, your Shiba coins and things like
- 21:13Speaker 1: that that you can get into that are really really inexpensive.
- 21:17Speaker 1: And so you can put in five hundred dollars and
- 21:20Speaker 1: walk away with like, you know, five hundred thousand shares
- 21:24Speaker 1: of a coin. Why investing in some of these all
- 21:28Speaker 1: coins that may have the potential to rise and increase
- 21:32Speaker 1: as much as bitcoins. So that's really what the game
- 21:35Speaker 1: is now. People are looking for the next bitcoin in cryptocurrency. Um.
- 21:41Speaker 1: The other thing too that's really big in crypto right
- 21:44Speaker 1: now is really investing in coins that are tied to
- 21:47Speaker 1: the metaverse. I was just talking to someone this morning about,
- 21:51Speaker 1: you know, coins that are heavily involved in digital real
- 21:55Speaker 1: estate in the metaverse, and so a lot of people
- 21:57Speaker 1: are starting to allocate money and it could be a
- 22:00Speaker 1: small amount to some of these coins like Gala and
- 22:04Speaker 1: the Central Land and things like that that are heavily
- 22:08Speaker 1: connected with the metaverse and digital real estate. So there
- 22:12Speaker 1: are really good opportunities, especially from black people, to get
- 22:15Speaker 1: in with very little money and you know, very little
- 22:19Speaker 1: risk um with crypto. So right, digital metaverse, none of
- 22:25Speaker 1: that's real, it's not really you know, black people thought
- 22:30Speaker 1: stock market wasn't really at one. Well, I know where
- 22:33Speaker 1: ibm at, I know where the whole deep I go.
- 22:37Speaker 1: I can lose some mother hole DEEPO get mad and
- 22:39Speaker 1: on deepot digital real estate. Huh huh. And that's the
- 22:44Speaker 1: part that we have to cross that line over understanding
- 22:48Speaker 1: the reality of n f t s. You know, the
- 22:53Speaker 1: college athletes learning about els, all these things were fast
- 22:59Speaker 1: moving into a society where education really may never catch
- 23:03Speaker 1: up with us. So it means that the ability to
- 23:06Speaker 1: be a participant may never be an opportunity. And so
- 23:11Speaker 1: bringing you on my show at least helps us understand
- 23:15Speaker 1: that there are people like us. There's a community of
- 23:18Speaker 1: women out there who don't want to be average. You
- 23:21Speaker 1: don't want to be left in the back, who want
- 23:24Speaker 1: to be able to say, how can I be a
- 23:26Speaker 1: party of this? Now, you have a little program called
- 23:28Speaker 1: build a Bag of Wealth. I think that's the best
- 23:31Speaker 1: way to close up with you and this interview. But
- 23:34Speaker 1: also want I have a show. I do my show
- 23:36Speaker 1: live on Tuesdays on w CLK Campus. I take phone calls.
- 23:40Speaker 1: I love to invite you on my live show. It
- 23:43Speaker 1: also plays back on my national platform. But you are
- 23:45Speaker 1: so engaging, and whenever I bring an investor on somebody
- 23:48Speaker 1: talking about stock, the phone flight up. And that's why
- 23:51Speaker 1: I know these black folk want to know how to
- 23:53Speaker 1: make some money. I mean I can bring on celebrities,
- 23:56Speaker 1: no calls, I bring on somebody talking about stock home
- 24:00Speaker 1: they find their way to that phone. So I know
- 24:03Speaker 1: there's education that they want, but the opportunity to participate
- 24:08Speaker 1: they're being left out on, So talk about your build
- 24:11Speaker 1: a bag of wealth. Yeah. So build a Bag is
- 24:15Speaker 1: a program that um I came up with to teach
- 24:18Speaker 1: women and man. It's actually open to everyone. Um how
- 24:22Speaker 1: to trade options. And options are contracts um to buy stocks.
- 24:28Speaker 1: You're not obligated to buy them, but oftentimes, you know,
- 24:31Speaker 1: we don't have a lot of money to get into
- 24:33Speaker 1: the stock market to buy the Amazon's, to buy the
- 24:36Speaker 1: Google's because they're just really priced, you know, extremely high.
- 24:41Speaker 1: But if you learn how to trade contracts, you can
- 24:44Speaker 1: still make money off of Amazon or IBM or home
- 24:47Speaker 1: depot would have you with very little money. And so
- 24:51Speaker 1: we have designed this program called build a Bag where
- 24:55Speaker 1: we show people how to go from five hundred dollars
- 24:58Speaker 1: to five thousand dollars and me about a month and
- 25:01Speaker 1: a half to two months. See see see I am
- 25:08Speaker 1: about talking about staff. So we should have started out
- 25:11Speaker 1: with that conversation five the five thousand dollars. You know,
- 25:16Speaker 1: some we're gonna book you on my show My Money
- 25:19Speaker 1: Makes Mother Master Clay, I'm firing some people off the
- 25:22Speaker 1: show to bring you on this. Okay, they need to
- 25:26Speaker 1: trade options, they need to here. Okay, we're gonna start
- 25:29Speaker 1: off with the five other dollars to five thousand dollars
- 25:32Speaker 1: in the market. We don't that conversation though immediately, but
- 25:36Speaker 1: you've been fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm glad you
- 25:39Speaker 1: contact me. I'm glad we contacted you. It was it
- 25:42Speaker 1: was a synergy. My people were reaching out to you
- 25:44Speaker 1: and you naturally reach it out to me. I know
- 25:46Speaker 1: that you'll be hearing from me again. I want to
- 25:47Speaker 1: bring you on my live show. It's just like this
- 25:50Speaker 1: very funny NBR airs on a lot of twin HBCU
- 25:54Speaker 1: campus at seven one stations nationwide with number one week
- 25:57Speaker 1: and show on Black radio in America. But more under,
- 26:00Speaker 1: you are number one in my financial heart. Okay, we're
- 26:02Speaker 1: gonna we're gonna win together here girl, five hundred dollars
- 26:05Speaker 1: of five thousand dollars of the month. I'm looking forward
- 26:09Speaker 1: to it. I appreciate you. Thank you for coming on
- 26:10Speaker 1: Money Making Conversation master Class. Thank you. If you want
- 26:14Speaker 1: to see or here into my interviews, please go to
