- Scott Miller: Well, this case, I'm not sure if the decision was today or yesterday, but the case revolves around the Louisiana case where they had created a second minority access district. And in order to create it, the word gerrymander comes from a practice that they had a long time ago where they would literally create these serpentine looking districts that just, there was no rational justification for why they did why they constructed that way and this one parkings back to that it literally goes it's a literally 250 miles long goes diagonally across almost the entire state of Louisiana and And there's no way to justify that and what the what the justices said was Justice Roberts said in fact was you can't fix racism with racism and that building these districts like this Greg Fink: Right. Scott Miller: is by definition because they're racially defined. They literally construct them by counting how many minority people are physically in the district and the district in ways contorting the district and whatever way it takes to make them do that. Greg Fink: Right.
