- 0:01Speaker 1: Governor Abbot in Texas has decided to do something that
- 0:06Speaker 1: is pretty amazing because the federal government is refusing to
- 0:12Speaker 1: do their job with illegal immigrants that are running across
- 0:15Speaker 1: the border. He has now come out and said, we're
- 0:19Speaker 1: not going to allow this to happen anymore. In fact,
- 0:22Speaker 1: if you come across the border, we're going to start
- 0:26Speaker 1: arresting and jailing border crossers. We're not going to waste
- 0:31Speaker 1: our time anymore catching and then having the federal government
- 0:36Speaker 1: go right behind our backs and release. Now, I believe
- 0:40Speaker 1: that this is long overdue. I want you to hear
- 0:43Speaker 1: what Governor Abbott had to say as he has issued
- 0:46Speaker 1: a disaster declaration over Biden's out of control border neglect. Now,
- 0:51Speaker 1: let me also remind you that Kamala Harris is the
- 0:53Speaker 1: woman that was supposed to be put in charge of
- 0:55Speaker 1: the border crisis problem. Right, She's not one single time
- 1:02Speaker 1: gone to the border. Think about that. She's not going
- 1:06Speaker 1: to go to the border. I would argue as well,
- 1:09Speaker 1: she has no intention of going to the border. Why
- 1:12Speaker 1: would she. She doesn't want to fix the border. In fact,
- 1:16Speaker 1: they have purposely created the crisis at the border, and
- 1:20Speaker 1: the reason why they created the crisis at the border
- 1:23Speaker 1: was so that they could use it to their advantage.
- 1:27Speaker 1: They want to fundamentally change this country. They want to
- 1:29Speaker 1: fundamentally change what this country is. Now. Take a listen
- 1:36Speaker 1: to Governor Abbott in his own words about one issuing
- 1:40Speaker 1: this disaster declaration, which I would argue other governors need
- 1:43Speaker 1: to hurry up and do, and also saying you're gonna
- 1:46Speaker 1: go to jail if you come into our state illegally.
- 1:49Speaker 1: We're not going to weigh on the federal government any longer.
- 1:52Speaker 1: I don't think this has ever happened before where a
- 1:54Speaker 1: disaster declaration was made for border counties because of the
- 1:57Speaker 1: influx of people coming across the border. But I did
- 2:01Speaker 1: because we're about to change the way that Texas addresses
- 2:05Speaker 1: the challenges on the boarder. And we're going to start
- 2:07Speaker 1: by helping these thirty four counties respond by increasing arrests.
- 2:12Speaker 1: We got a new game in town in the state
- 2:14Speaker 1: of Texas. It's going to begin next week. We're going
- 2:16Speaker 1: to start. Why can't you just say you're not allowed
- 2:20Speaker 1: in and just protect the border and say go back.
- 2:25Speaker 1: I'll be very clear with you, Sean, and that is
- 2:27Speaker 1: you may remember this. I know you did interviews on
- 2:29Speaker 1: this more than a decade ago, when you talked to
- 2:31Speaker 1: jam Brewer. When Jam Brewer was governor of Arizona, Arizona
- 2:35Speaker 1: passed laws that did exactly that, where they would send
- 2:38Speaker 1: people back and they would not accept people. And the
- 2:41Speaker 1: law that Arizona passed went all the way to the
- 2:44Speaker 1: US Supreme Court in a case called Arizona versus the
- 2:46Speaker 1: United States, where the United States Supreme Court said, Arizona
- 2:49Speaker 1: does not have that. You know the attorney general that
- 2:51Speaker 1: I used to be, and so I followed the law,
- 2:54Speaker 1: and the law that I'm going to use will be
- 2:56Speaker 1: legal ways in which Texas is going to start arresting
- 3:00Speaker 1: everybody coming across the border. Not just arresting them, but
- 3:02Speaker 1: because this is not going to be aggravated trespass, they're
- 3:05Speaker 1: going to be spending a half a year in jail,
- 3:07Speaker 1: if not a year in jail, as well as other
- 3:10Speaker 1: actions that I will be announcing next week. I love this.
- 3:14Speaker 1: It's about time that you had a governor that did
- 3:17Speaker 1: something exactly like this. We're not just going to charge
- 3:20Speaker 1: him with aggravated trespassing. We're going to put him in
- 3:23Speaker 1: jail for six months to a year and then there's
- 3:26Speaker 1: going to be other stuff coming on top of that.
- 3:29Speaker 1: We're going to start arresting and jailing border crossers in Texas.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Now everybody else needs to be paying attention to this.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Here's the other thing that's amazing about what Governor Abbott's
- 3:46Speaker 1: also doing. Not only is he coming out to secure
- 3:50Speaker 1: the border, but what he's also doing is he's coming
- 3:53Speaker 1: out and saying that we are going to step up
- 3:56Speaker 1: and we are also going to defund the cities that
- 4:02Speaker 1: defund the police because we are a law and order state. Well,
- 4:08Speaker 1: the reason it's stronger is because, as you pointed out,
- 4:11Speaker 1: I'm about to sign a law that will ensure that
- 4:14Speaker 1: cities in the state of Texas will not be able
- 4:17Speaker 1: to defund police. First, the context and that is that
- 4:20Speaker 1: you pointed out what's going on in Minneapolis, where it
- 4:23Speaker 1: is both a tragedy and a disaster, what's going on
- 4:27Speaker 1: for the residents of Minneapolis because of the defunding of police.
- 4:30Speaker 1: And you've seen the same thing in Portland and Seattle,
- 4:33Speaker 1: in Chicago and New York, etc. Harris, Unfortunately, we had
- 4:37Speaker 1: the same thing happened here in the state of Texas
- 4:39Speaker 1: where the city of Austin defunded police, which is why
- 4:42Speaker 1: you saw that tragic situation reported in Austin, Texas. And
- 4:46Speaker 1: because Austin defunded police. We wanted to do two things
- 4:49Speaker 1: in this session. One, we wanted to make sure that
- 4:53Speaker 1: there we're going to be consequences for the city of Austin.
- 4:55Speaker 1: The second is we wanted to make sure that no
- 4:58Speaker 1: other city in the state of tech would defund police.
- 5:01Speaker 1: And so here's what we're doing in the State of
- 5:03Speaker 1: Texas to put teeth into this law that provides real
- 5:07Speaker 1: consequences for cities that do defund the police. One, we're
- 5:11Speaker 1: going to dry up their revenue sources in a way
- 5:14Speaker 1: that basically will put the city out of business. What
- 5:17Speaker 1: happens is a residency we're going to defund the city.
- 5:23Speaker 1: We are going to prohibit cities from being able to
- 5:26Speaker 1: annex in the future, but also allow people who have
- 5:30Speaker 1: been annexed for thirty years to be able to d
- 5:34Speaker 1: annex because they were annexed and they were paying money
- 5:36Speaker 1: into the city for the purpose of being able to
- 5:39Speaker 1: receive police protection. And then the last thing I'll add
- 5:42Speaker 1: to you, and that is the State of Texas Department
- 5:45Speaker 1: of Public Safety. They will provide additional policing in the
- 5:49Speaker 1: City of Austin. However, it's going to be the City
- 5:51Speaker 1: of Austin sales tax revenue that will be paying for
- 5:55Speaker 1: the state law enforcement to make sure that there will
- 5:57Speaker 1: be safety and security in the city of Austin. I
- 6:00Speaker 1: love this because Austin's gone full woke, full leftists. Austin
- 6:06Speaker 1: has gone full anti police. And what the governor's saying is,
- 6:10Speaker 1: you ain't getting any money from us if you do this,
- 6:13Speaker 1: You're not getting anything from us. Now, the left is
- 6:16Speaker 1: saying that Governor Abbott is racist and bigoted because he's
- 6:20Speaker 1: going to take people that are just wanting a better
- 6:22Speaker 1: life and he's gonna lock him up for six months
- 6:25Speaker 1: or a year. What other option do you have? I
- 6:30Speaker 1: mean it, how many millions of people are you gonna
- 6:34Speaker 1: allowed to come across the border illegally before you actually
- 6:37Speaker 1: do something? Because it's very clear the federal government is
- 6:41Speaker 1: not going to do anything. The federal government has refused
- 6:45Speaker 1: to do their job. The federal government. No no, no no, no,
- 6:48Speaker 1: Let me let me let me say that differently. It's
- 6:50Speaker 1: not that the federal government has refused to do their job.
- 6:52Speaker 1: The federal government has deliberately decided that it is not
- 6:58Speaker 1: in their interests because of what Joe Biden and Kamala
- 7:03Speaker 1: Harris have decided to do to this country, which is
- 7:05Speaker 1: invoked socialism. It is not in their best interest to
- 7:10Speaker 1: secure the border. It's in their best interests to flood
- 7:13Speaker 1: the border with illegal immigrants. And the reason why is
- 7:17Speaker 1: pretty clear. The reason why is extremely clear. They want
- 7:24Speaker 1: to give out amnesty to fifteen twenty million people or
- 7:28Speaker 1: maybe even more. The number for them, I think is
- 7:31Speaker 1: honestly kind of unlimited. They want this country to be
- 7:37Speaker 1: flooded with immigrants. They are excited about it. That's their objective,
- 7:45Speaker 1: that is their goal, and then they give the amnesty
- 7:48Speaker 1: and then they vote for them. They want this country
- 7:51Speaker 1: to be fundamentally changed from what it is now. They
- 7:55Speaker 1: don't like law and order, they hate police. They want
- 8:00Speaker 1: cities to burn, they want high rates of poverty. They
- 8:06Speaker 1: want people dependent on the government. They want a legal
- 8:09Speaker 1: immigrants to come in and give them citizenship, and they
- 8:11Speaker 1: want them to be dependent on them the government. That's
- 8:14Speaker 1: what they want to happen. They're not just not doing
- 8:21Speaker 1: their job. This has planned and orchestrated. Kamala Harris is
- 8:25Speaker 1: another example of this she's quote in charge of the
- 8:28Speaker 1: crisis of the border, and she's not gone on the
- 8:30Speaker 1: border one time because she has no intention of stopping this.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Christis the border because they don't believe it's a crisis.
- 8:37Speaker 1: This is exactly what they wanted to happen. This has
- 8:40Speaker 1: been their goal all along. This has been their objective
- 8:44Speaker 1: from day one. Flood the United States of America with people.
- 8:48Speaker 1: They can give amnesty two and then give it to
- 8:50Speaker 1: them and they'll vote for you forever, and then we
- 8:53Speaker 1: have total control. You know. You look at Governor Abbott
- 8:56Speaker 1: in Texas and one of the reasons why I think
- 8:58Speaker 1: the left is rilled with the number of illegal immigrants
- 9:04Speaker 1: come across the border, as it's having an impact on
- 9:06Speaker 1: the state's politics. Democrats, if they can figure out a
- 9:10Speaker 1: way to start winning Texas, they win the White House
- 9:14Speaker 1: every time. If they can figure out a way to
- 9:17Speaker 1: start winning Texas. Think about those two Senate seats and
- 9:20Speaker 1: what that does, and think about all the congressional seats.
- 9:24Speaker 1: You look at liberal cities like Austin, San Antonio. Those
- 9:29Speaker 1: are major cities with major voting box, with large Hispanic
- 9:32Speaker 1: populations and very large illegal immigrant populations. They've gone so
- 9:39Speaker 1: woke in Austin. They're anti police there that their crime
- 9:43Speaker 1: is skyrocketing, and the left doesn't care, right because they're
- 9:47Speaker 1: hoping that conservatives will leave so then they can have
- 9:50Speaker 1: even more control. Total control, complete and utter control. That's
- 9:59Speaker 1: their object. If that's their goal. They want complete and
- 10:03Speaker 1: total control of these cities. They desperately need it. You
- 10:09Speaker 1: destroy these cities all these seas around the country. Look
- 10:12Speaker 1: at the riding and looting that's taking place in Minneapolis
- 10:16Speaker 1: after a guy points a gun and shoots at the
- 10:18Speaker 1: police and they kill the guy who's wanted for gun charges.
- 10:21Speaker 1: He's a he's wanted for felony gun crimes. Think about that.
- 10:28Speaker 1: They shoot him because he shoots at them, the police
- 10:30Speaker 1: where they're trying to take him into custody, and they
- 10:33Speaker 1: riot and loot again in that city, and they chant
- 10:35Speaker 1: black lives matter blank the police, kill the police, We're
- 10:38Speaker 1: gonna kill more of you, threaten to kill all these people.
- 10:41Speaker 1: That's what they do. This is what they do, and
- 10:49Speaker 1: they're proud of it. Well, somebody's got to stand up
- 10:54Speaker 1: at some point, somebody's got to fight back at some point.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Governor Abbott doing this is amazing, you know, he's also
- 11:05Speaker 1: not afraid to stand with Donald Trump because he understands
- 11:08Speaker 1: that Donald Trump has done the right thing. Donald Trump
- 11:11Speaker 1: has come out endorsing, supporting Greg Abbott. Greg Abbott mentioned
- 11:14Speaker 1: that when he was talking about these new policies, and
- 11:16Speaker 1: he's saying, I'm not running away from Donald Trump. Donald
- 11:19Speaker 1: Trump is still a partner with me in Texas, and
- 11:22Speaker 1: we are going to secure this country in this border,
- 11:25Speaker 1: and I'm not afraid to say it. He's right, by
- 11:29Speaker 1: the way, no one should be afraid to be associated
- 11:32Speaker 1: with Donald Trump when it comes to the border issue.
- 11:35Speaker 1: The President's endorsement, if you look at it, it was
- 11:37Speaker 1: more than just yeah, I endorse Greg Abbott. Look at
- 11:40Speaker 1: the words that he used to talk about why he's
- 11:42Speaker 1: endorsing me, and how we partnered up together to do
- 11:45Speaker 1: things like secure the border, to make America greater, to
- 11:49Speaker 1: create so many jobs in Texas that are now being
- 11:52Speaker 1: crushed by the Biden Green new disaster. And this is
- 11:56Speaker 1: exactly why and why President Trump is so appreciated in Texas. Remember,
- 12:01Speaker 1: he was able to get votes in counties along the
- 12:04Speaker 1: border the other Republican presidential Canadas had never been able
- 12:08Speaker 1: to get. He won counties along the border that no
- 12:11Speaker 1: Republican candidate for president had ever won. And it's because
- 12:16Speaker 1: people who live on the border, Hispanics who live on
- 12:18Speaker 1: the border, they want to have their border secured. Is
- 12:21Speaker 1: contrary to the Democrat narrative where the Hispanics on the
- 12:24Speaker 1: border they want open borders. That's false, it's not true.
- 12:28Speaker 1: President Trump proved that people of all backgrounds who live
- 12:32Speaker 1: on the border, who live Inland, in Texas, in America,
- 12:35Speaker 1: they want a secure border. And that is what I
- 12:38Speaker 1: am trying to step up and achieve. You know, Governor
- 12:42Speaker 1: Abbott and Donald Trump have one thing in common, and
- 12:46Speaker 1: that's this. They both understand the threat that comes from
- 12:48Speaker 1: these cartels, from the gang members coming across, from the
- 12:52Speaker 1: sexual assaults that happen from the fete and all that
- 12:55Speaker 1: comes across that kills American citizens, From the human smuggling
- 12:59Speaker 1: and human trafficking and sex trafficking and the violence spills
- 13:03Speaker 1: over into America. They understand it. They're not going to
- 13:07Speaker 1: shy away from it. They're not afraid to talk about it.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Remember when Donald Trump said what he said about what
- 13:16Speaker 1: was coming across the border, and people lost their minds,
- 13:19Speaker 1: I mean they went nuts. He said, they're all this, this, this, this,
- 13:26Speaker 1: and this. No, he didn't. That's not what he said. Yes,
- 13:29Speaker 1: it is. He said they're all rapists, that they're all murderers,
- 13:33Speaker 1: he's he hates Hispanic people. No, that's not what he said.
- 13:39Speaker 1: He said there are gang members and there's those that
- 13:40Speaker 1: are actually coming across the border and they are causing harm.
- 13:44Speaker 1: He absolutely did say that. And the reason why he
- 13:47Speaker 1: said it was because it's true. That's why he said it.
- 13:53Speaker 1: He said it because it was accurate. He said it
- 13:56Speaker 1: because it needed to be said in so many of
- 13:59Speaker 1: these towns. And he's absolutely right in the way that
- 14:01Speaker 1: it was just described. So many of these border towns
- 14:05Speaker 1: voted for Donald Trump, and they do it again. They
- 14:09Speaker 1: would do it again because that's how bad it's gotten,
- 14:12Speaker 1: that's how dangerous it's gotten. And many of them are Hispanic,
- 14:15Speaker 1: by the way, who came to this country legally, the
- 14:17Speaker 1: right way. They can't stand the onslaught of illegal activity
- 14:22Speaker 1: and illegal immigrants coming across the border. Cannot stand it.
- 14:28Speaker 1: They want law and order. They don't want to be
- 14:32Speaker 1: worried about who's gonna attack or hurt or kill them
- 14:35Speaker 1: from an illegal immigrant that may come across the border
- 14:38Speaker 1: or a gang member. If you're waiting for Joe Biden
- 14:42Speaker 1: and Kamala Harris to secure the border, if you're waiting
- 14:46Speaker 1: for them to protect America, stop, they're not going to
- 14:51Speaker 1: do it. They're trying to fundamentally change this country. I
- 14:55Speaker 1: give an example. They don't want to even inspire you
- 14:58Speaker 1: when it comes to our basic history of how great
- 15:00Speaker 1: of a nation we are. They want you to overlook
- 15:03Speaker 1: things like Dday, Remember Memorial Day weekend. Kamala Harris told
- 15:09Speaker 1: people to have a nice long weekend, remember to have
- 15:12Speaker 1: a nice three day weekend with a picture of herself.
- 15:14Speaker 1: She doesn't want to remember the people that sacrifice to
- 15:16Speaker 1: protect and defend this country and to make it what
- 15:18Speaker 1: it is, because they're trying to remake this country. Look
- 15:23Speaker 1: at Joe Biden neglecting to commemorate D Day. Instead, he
- 15:29Speaker 1: tweeted about the Tulsa masacre and the people that he
- 15:32Speaker 1: met with. He posts a video of himself meeting with
- 15:36Speaker 1: survivors of the nineteen twenty one Tulsa Masaker. Now, I'm
- 15:39Speaker 1: not saying that that's not an appropriate tweet. What I'm
- 15:41Speaker 1: saying is, if that's what you post on the seventy
- 15:44Speaker 1: seventh anniversary of D Day on Sunday instead of talking
- 15:50Speaker 1: about D Day. There's a problem. You know, there's a
- 15:56Speaker 1: difference between this president and other presents. And I will
- 15:59Speaker 1: remind you of a guy who was a Democrat who
- 16:02Speaker 1: I miss, FDR. When FDR told the country about D Day,
- 16:08Speaker 1: he didn't just talk about what was going to happen.
- 16:10Speaker 1: He prayed. He prayed for this nation. This is a
- 16:15Speaker 1: Democrat who understood by the way borders, because borders mattered,
- 16:20Speaker 1: which is what Dday was all about. People had invaded
- 16:24Speaker 1: other countries and we were going to restore law in
- 16:27Speaker 1: order to the world. And he prayed to God something
- 16:30Speaker 1: that that in this country right now we have lost
- 16:33Speaker 1: our way. I want to play for you what FDR
- 16:37Speaker 1: said on the DDA speech June six, nineteen forty four,
- 16:40Speaker 1: and I want you to think about that. This the
- 16:43Speaker 1: first three minutes of his speech explained to the country.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Dday was actually a prayer. My fellow Americans, last night,
- 16:54Speaker 1: when I spoke with you about the fall of Rome,
- 16:59Speaker 1: I knew at that moment the troops of the United
- 17:03Speaker 1: States and our allies were crossing the channel in another
- 17:08Speaker 1: and greater operation. It has come to pass with success
- 17:14Speaker 1: thus far, and so in this poignant hour I ask
- 17:21Speaker 1: you to join with me in prayer. Almighty God, our sons,
- 17:32Speaker 1: pride of our nation, this day have set upon the
- 17:36Speaker 1: mighty endeavor, a struggle to preserve our public, our religion,
- 17:43Speaker 1: and our civilization, and to set free a suffering humanity.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Lead them straight and cruel, Give strength to their arms,
- 17:56Speaker 1: stoutness to their hearts, steadfastness in their faith. They will
- 18:03Speaker 1: need Thy blessings. Their road will be long and hard,
- 18:09Speaker 1: for the enemy is strong. He may hurl back our forces.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Success may not come with rushing speed, but we shall
- 18:20Speaker 1: return again and again. And we know that by Thy
- 18:25Speaker 1: grace and by the righteousness of our cause, our sons
- 18:30Speaker 1: will triumph. They will be sore, tried by night and
- 18:36Speaker 1: by day, without rest, until the victory is won. The
- 18:43Speaker 1: darkness will be rent by noise and flame. Men's souls
- 18:49Speaker 1: will be shaken with the violences of war. For these
- 18:55Speaker 1: men are lately drawn from the ways of peace. They
- 19:01Speaker 1: fight not for the lust of conquest. They fight to
- 19:06Speaker 1: end conquest. They fight to liberate. They fight to let
- 19:12Speaker 1: justice arise and towns and good will among all thy people.
- 19:21Speaker 1: They yearn but for the end of battle for they
- 19:26Speaker 1: return to the haven of home, some will never return.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Embrace these father and receive them thy heroic servants into
- 19:43Speaker 1: Thy kingdom. And for us at home, fathers, mothers, children, wives, sisters,
- 19:56Speaker 1: and brothers of brave men overseas, we're thoughts from prayers
- 20:03Speaker 1: ever Lam help us Almighty God, to rededicate ourselves and
- 20:11Speaker 1: renewed faith in the in this are of great sacrifice.
- 20:19Speaker 1: You think about what FDR said. He didn't say, he
- 20:23Speaker 1: prayed it. And now we live in a country where
- 20:27Speaker 1: we're supposed to be ashamed of our men and women
- 20:29Speaker 1: in uniform. We're supposed to hate our police. We're supposed
- 20:33Speaker 1: to be happy with open borders, and we have a
- 20:35Speaker 1: present that won't even remember men and women who give
- 20:39Speaker 1: the ultimate sacrifice on d Day and the anniversary of it.
- 20:47Speaker 1: That is sick. Don't forget our podcasts. We do a
