- 0:21Speaker 5: Good Monday morning, so nice to have you with us
- 0:23Speaker 5: on the forty seven Morning Update and hear the big
- 0:25Speaker 5: stories we're covering today. First up, it has been one
- 0:29Speaker 5: year since the assassination attempt on President Donald Trump and
- 0:32Speaker 5: Butler Pennsylvania. The President set down to do an interview
- 0:35Speaker 5: on that and many other issues, and oddly enough, he
- 0:38Speaker 5: wasn't too worried about the assassination attempt. He's more worried
- 0:42Speaker 5: about putting Americans first, and we'll have that for you
- 0:45Speaker 5: in just a moment. Also, Democrats got to go to Alcatrez,
- 0:50Speaker 5: you know, Alligator Alcatraz, and what do they do? They
- 0:53Speaker 5: freaked out and they lied. Tom Homan set the record
- 0:56Speaker 5: straight of what actually is happening at Alligator Alcatraz, and
- 0:59Speaker 5: we have the details for you. But first I want
- 1:02Speaker 5: to talk to you about starting my day. I do
- 1:04Speaker 5: it every morning with an amazing cup of Crockett coffee.
- 1:08Speaker 5: If you want unbelievable coffee every morning, then I got
- 1:11Speaker 5: to introduce you to Crockett Coffee. And I just had

- 1:32Speaker 5: every morning that makes you feel like you're outside by
- 1:35Speaker 5: a campfire, then you gotta check out the aroma of
- 1:39Speaker 5: Krockett coffee. It brews in your home or your office
- 1:42Speaker 5: and you're going to love it.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Now.
- 1:43Speaker 5: This is premium coffee. If you want an average cup
- 1:46Speaker 5: of coffee, do not order Krockett coffee. There is also
- 1:50Speaker 5: one other thing I love. It is owned by great conservatives,
- 1:53Speaker 5: fellow Patriots, Buck Sexton and Clay Travis. They came up
- 1:57Speaker 5: with this idea and their two guys that never sell out.
- 2:01Speaker 5: So if you're ready to have a great cup of coffee,
- 2:04Speaker 5: then choose between the fresh ground, the whole bean or
- 2:07Speaker 5: the k cups. And if you're instead of mushroom coffee
- 2:09Speaker 5: and the positive benefits that come with that, you can
- 2:12Speaker 5: also check that out at Crockett Coffee. Now, I want

- 2:44Speaker 5: off your first order. Try it right now. It's the
- 2:46Speaker 5: forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
- 2:49Speaker 4: Story number one.
- 2:50Speaker 5: It has been one year since the assassination attempt on
- 2:54Speaker 5: Donald Trump. Donald Trump looking back at that year, making
- 2:57Speaker 5: it clear that he is doing this job now for
- 3:00Speaker 5: the American people, and it's clear that he has a
- 3:03Speaker 5: mission to do what he promised, which was to put
- 3:06Speaker 5: Americans first. The president was asked about that one year
- 3:09Speaker 5: since Butler Pennsylvania in an interview that he did with
- 3:13Speaker 5: his daughter in law on Fox News Channel. And I
- 3:16Speaker 5: want you to hear what the President had to say
- 3:18Speaker 5: looking back over the last year.
- 3:20Speaker 3: But they briefed me, and I'm satisfied with it. I'm
- 3:23Speaker 3: satisfied with it. They should have had somebody in the building.
- 3:26Speaker 3: That was a mistake. They should have had communications with
- 3:29Speaker 3: the local police. They weren't tied in, and they should
- 3:31Speaker 3: have been tied in. So there were mistakes made and
- 3:34Speaker 3: that you know, shouldn't have happened. And that building was
- 3:36Speaker 3: a prime building in terms of what they were trying
- 3:39Speaker 3: to do. So but I was satisfied in terms of
- 3:43Speaker 3: the bigger plot, the larger plot.
- 3:45Speaker 1: I was satisfied.
- 3:46Speaker 3: And you know, I have great confidence in these people.
- 3:50Speaker 3: I know the people and they're very talented, very capable.
- 3:53Speaker 3: That they had a bad day, and I think they'll
- 3:55Speaker 3: admit that had a rough day. This is a very
- 3:58Speaker 3: dangerous job being president, you know, I say, a race
- 4:01Speaker 3: guard driver one percent of one percent, think of that die.
- 4:06Speaker 1: It's not a lot a bull rider. I think that's
- 4:09Speaker 1: pretty dangerous.
- 4:11Speaker 3: It's like one tenth of one percent die, and with
- 4:14Speaker 3: a president's like five percent.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Why didn't you tell me this?
- 4:17Speaker 3: I could have maybe made a different decision, but I
- 4:20Speaker 3: wouldn't have made a different decision because we're doing so well.
- 4:23Speaker 1: The country's back.
- 4:25Speaker 5: The country's back. The President of the United States of
- 4:27Speaker 5: America making it clear that he has a mission, a
- 4:30Speaker 5: mission statement, and his mission is to protect Americans and
- 4:34Speaker 5: put Americans first. He also had this to say about
- 4:38Speaker 5: a what he wants for the future of this country.
- 4:40Speaker 2: A lot of people look at what you've done, though,
- 4:42Speaker 2: and they say, had you not had four years in between,
- 4:46Speaker 2: maybe all this success would not be possible.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Do you agree with that? Well, experience is very important
- 4:55Speaker 1: in life.
- 4:56Speaker 3: I think talent is more important than experience, But if
- 4:58Speaker 3: you can have them both somehow, it's a very good thing.
- 5:01Speaker 1: But experience is very important. I think it also helped.
- 5:04Speaker 3: It was very bad for the country, but it also
- 5:07Speaker 3: helped to have four years of horror. What went before
- 5:10Speaker 3: me was horror, and by comparison, I think anything looks good,
- 5:15Speaker 3: and I don't want it to mean what we've done,
- 5:17Speaker 3: because we've done a lot of records, but what they've
- 5:20Speaker 3: done to our country should never be forgiven. Allowing millions
- 5:25Speaker 3: and millions of people to come into our country that
- 5:27Speaker 3: shouldn't be here.
- 5:28Speaker 1: It's such a big aspect of what.
- 5:29Speaker 3: We're doing now with the borders, and it could have
- 5:32Speaker 3: been so easy. When I gave over the country, the
- 5:34Speaker 3: border was great. Now it's better than it was, but
- 5:38Speaker 3: it was much worse than it was in twenty sixteen
- 5:40Speaker 3: when I took it over.
- 5:41Speaker 1: That was a border problem also.
- 5:42Speaker 3: But I think when people see the horror show that
- 5:45Speaker 3: we had for four years, an absolute horror show. They
- 5:49Speaker 3: tried to kill it was almost like they tried to
- 5:51Speaker 3: kill our country. And the beautiful thing is now we
- 5:54Speaker 3: have the hottest country in the world the present.
- 5:57Speaker 5: Making it clear, I have a lot to do. I
- 6:00Speaker 5: have a legacy. I am working for the American people.
- 6:04Speaker 5: I am doing things. For example, the Big Beautiful Bill,
- 6:08Speaker 5: which is going to help Americans, and I made it
- 6:11Speaker 5: a reality, another part of his commitment to the American people.
- 6:15Speaker 1: It's unbelievable.
- 6:17Speaker 3: It's the most incredible bill, one of the most incredible
- 6:19Speaker 3: bills ever passed, and it's the biggest.
- 6:22Speaker 1: It's the biggest bill.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Of its kind ever passed, and we have to talk
- 6:26Speaker 3: about it when you think about no tax on tips,
- 6:28Speaker 3: no tax on Social Security, no tax on overtime, a
- 6:32Speaker 3: big tax cut in addition to that, plus we're saving
- 6:35Speaker 3: the tax cut.
- 6:35Speaker 1: That we made years ago, which is big.
- 6:37Speaker 3: It expired in another couple of months that would have expired,
- 6:41Speaker 3: they would have had a sixty eight percent tax increase.
- 6:45Speaker 1: And now they have a tax cut.
- 6:46Speaker 3: And you have to explain that to people, because you
- 6:49Speaker 3: know the public, they're driving a cab, they're working as
- 6:53Speaker 3: a lawyer, accountant, or a teacher, or doing it any
- 6:56Speaker 3: one of a million different things.
- 6:58Speaker 1: They're not into it like we are.
- 7:00Speaker 3: You have to explain it, so every chance you get,
- 7:02Speaker 3: because what they do is they set a phony.
- 7:04Speaker 1: You know, they're fake. The Democrats are fake.
- 7:06Speaker 3: They're part of the fake news, and the fake news
- 7:09Speaker 3: will take it and they'll go with it.
- 7:10Speaker 1: It's unbelievable.
- 7:12Speaker 5: I love this president how quickly he moves on from
- 7:16Speaker 5: a question like, hey, year ago, they tried to kill you.
- 7:19Speaker 5: He's making jokes. He is making jokes and going back
- 7:24Speaker 5: to what he's trying to do put together an incredible
- 7:27Speaker 5: administration with an incredible cabinet that is doing incredible things
- 7:31Speaker 5: for the American people.
- 7:33Speaker 3: We have really good people this time, and they get
- 7:36Speaker 3: along with each other, they love each other, they love
- 7:39Speaker 3: the country, and it's smoother.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I think it's smoother.
- 7:43Speaker 3: You know, we did a lot of people thought my
- 7:45Speaker 3: first term was phenomenal.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I did. I thought.
- 7:48Speaker 3: You know, we got the largest tax cut in history,
- 7:51Speaker 3: the biggest tax cut in history, the biggest regulation cuts
- 7:55Speaker 3: in history by four times. Nobody even came close. We
- 7:58Speaker 3: rebuilt our military. They gave some of it away to Afghanistan,
- 8:02Speaker 3: and one of the most embarrassing moments ever. But you know,
- 8:05Speaker 3: we we terminated ISIS was one gone and terminated. They
- 8:12Speaker 3: started making a little bit of a comeback since Biden
- 8:14Speaker 3: got in, as you know, but they were gone, and
- 8:17Speaker 3: we'll take care of it. But now we're doing things
- 8:20Speaker 3: that maybe are on even a different level.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Now.
- 8:23Speaker 3: It's been especially this last couple of weeks, has been
- 8:27Speaker 3: pretty amazing.
- 8:28Speaker 5: Protecting Americans, standing up for Americans, protecting us at the border,
- 8:33Speaker 5: protecting us with taxes, protecting us from terrorists. That's what
- 8:37Speaker 5: the president wants.
- 8:38Speaker 4: You to remember about it now. Story number two.
- 8:40Speaker 5: President Donald Trump made it very clear when he was
- 8:42Speaker 5: running for president, if you vote for him, he's going
- 8:45Speaker 5: to secure the southern border and also have the largest
- 8:47Speaker 5: deportation this country has ever seen of illegal immigrants. The
- 8:51Speaker 5: President holding true to that promise, regardless of how much
- 8:54Speaker 5: the media tax him. Which brings us to the big
- 8:57Speaker 5: story about Alligator Alcatraz. It is simply the Everglades Detention Center.
- 9:03Speaker 5: It's located at the Dad Callier Airport in the Florida Everglades,
- 9:06Speaker 5: and the facility has actually been nicknamed Alligator Alcatraz. And
- 9:11Speaker 5: that's where the media lost their minds now. It began
- 9:14Speaker 5: operations on July third. It's intended to hold up to
- 9:17Speaker 5: five thousand immigration to dainees. As of today, lawmakers and
- 9:22Speaker 5: the press have visited under tight restrictions. Democrat officials infuriated,
- 9:28Speaker 5: describing it as quote vile, horrible, and citing overcrowded cages,
- 9:34Speaker 5: lack of sanitation, extreme heat, worm infested food, flooding toilets,
- 9:40Speaker 5: and restricted legal access. The reality that's all a lot
- 9:45Speaker 5: the Trump administration. Republican officials have defended it, saying it
- 9:50Speaker 5: meets standards and it serves a deterrent, and plans exist
- 9:54Speaker 5: to replicate this model in other states, doubling down now.
- 9:59Speaker 5: It's currently a flashpoint in the immigration debate, praise by
- 10:03Speaker 5: many like myself who support the present saying this is
- 10:06Speaker 5: effective in condemning illegal immigration, even as Democrats quote unquote
- 10:12Speaker 5: call it inhumane. Well, the President of the United States
- 10:15Speaker 5: of America making it clear, sending out Tom Holman to
- 10:19Speaker 5: do TV to talk about immigration and also Alligator Alcatraz,
- 10:25Speaker 5: and he set the record straight with Dana bash On
- 10:27Speaker 5: see it in take a listen.
- 10:29Speaker 2: I do want to turn to what is going on
- 10:33Speaker 2: in Florida, and that is what the administration, what you
- 10:37Speaker 2: call Alligator Alcatraz, was visited by Democratic members of Congress yesterday.
- 10:43Speaker 2: They were given limited access. And this, of course is
- 10:48Speaker 2: a new detention facility set up by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
- 10:52Speaker 2: What these congress people described was sweltering heat, bug and infestations,
- 10:57Speaker 2: meager meals. They say, they heard detail needs crying out
- 11:00Speaker 2: for help. The wife of one man detained there said
- 11:03Speaker 2: he's not been given access to a lawyer. He's been
- 11:06Speaker 2: in detention for about two weeks. Is that acceptable to you?
- 11:10Speaker 2: And is that what you're saying when you go, I
- 11:12Speaker 2: have not been there.
- 11:13Speaker 6: Yet, and I doubt a lot of that's factual. I mean,
- 11:16Speaker 6: bottom line is, you know from the day one I've
- 11:19Speaker 6: been doing this job since nineteen eighty four, detainees complain
- 11:23Speaker 6: about the conditions of detention. And I said this many times.
- 11:26Speaker 6: You can simply go to ICE dot GUB and look
- 11:30Speaker 6: at the detention standards ICE has. They have the highest
- 11:32Speaker 6: attention standards in the industry. But these same congressmen that
- 11:35Speaker 6: complaining about alligator alcatracts, you didn't see him complaining about
- 11:39Speaker 6: under Biden administration people being held in borbitual parking lot
- 11:42Speaker 6: surrounded by a fence and the swacter heat. Not a word.
- 11:46Speaker 6: You didn't hear a word about half a million children
- 11:48Speaker 6: being trafficked in the country and them not being able
- 11:50Speaker 6: to locate three hundred thousand. President Trump, this administration is
- 11:53Speaker 6: finding thousands of those children. So you know, they have
- 11:57Speaker 6: a lot of anger under President Trump and how we're
- 11:59Speaker 6: doing business. And they ignored four years of open borders,
- 12:02Speaker 6: historic migrant death, historic Americans dying from fatanhl, historic numbers
- 12:06Speaker 6: and women chilling me a sex traffic, historic number of
- 12:10Speaker 6: people on Jervis's coming across the border. Silence, silence because
- 12:14Speaker 6: they're complicit. But they didn't take the administration on and
- 12:17Speaker 6: ask them security border. You can't have strong national security
- 12:21Speaker 6: in this country if we don't have border security. We
- 12:24Speaker 6: got to know who's coming and what's coming to where's coming. Well,
- 12:26Speaker 6: instead they kept silent, and they kept feeding the American people.
- 12:30Speaker 6: We have a secure border, and we did.
- 12:31Speaker 5: Not tom home and make it clear that Trump officials
- 12:35Speaker 5: have given him a job. And reportedly they arrested thirty
- 12:38Speaker 5: thousand undocumented migrants in June, the Trump administration putting out
- 12:43Speaker 5: the new numbers, saying that this was a significant escalation
- 12:47Speaker 5: in immigration enforcement. According to ICE data, now, the surge
- 12:52Speaker 5: reflects a focus on detaining individuals, with over fourteen thousand
- 12:58Speaker 5: convicted criminals nine eight hundred facing pending charges. Among those
- 13:03Speaker 5: apprehended since January, only about eighteen thousands so far have
- 13:08Speaker 5: actually been deported, highlighting a gap due to overcrowded attention
- 13:12Speaker 5: facilities and pending asylum cases, yet again proving the point
- 13:16Speaker 5: of just how many illegal immigrants were allowed into the country. Now,
- 13:20Speaker 5: you may ask, what is the reason behind Alcatraz? Right,
- 13:24Speaker 5: this alligator Alcatraz is the media keeps freaking out over.
- 13:29Speaker 5: It's obviously meant to be a deterrent. Do not break
- 13:33Speaker 5: in to the United States of America. If you do,
- 13:37Speaker 5: we will come after you. Dana Bash also asking Homan
- 13:42Speaker 5: about this and listen to his response.
- 13:44Speaker 6: In communities and sanctuary cities.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Well, you just said that there are called collateral arrests
- 13:51Speaker 2: and that is sparking fear in communities where people are
- 13:57Speaker 2: again scared to go out. Well, I guess my question
- 14:01Speaker 2: is do you have compassion for those people who are
- 14:05Speaker 2: seeing what's going on hearing you speak, seeing what's happening
- 14:09Speaker 2: in their neighborhoods, shouldn't have any concern, but do just
- 14:14Speaker 2: because of.
- 14:14Speaker 6: The reality data. The bottom line is if you want
- 14:20Speaker 6: less collabor arrest and let us in the jail, I
- 14:22Speaker 6: mean we want to arrest a bad guy in the
- 14:24Speaker 6: safety and security of the accounty jail, with sanctuary cities
- 14:26Speaker 6: or releasing in the community, which means we've got to
- 14:28Speaker 6: go to the community and find him. And when we
- 14:30Speaker 6: find that bad person, many many times, whether it's at
- 14:33Speaker 6: the work site or in the community, they're with other people.
- 14:35Speaker 6: Other people in the United States illegally and We're going
- 14:38Speaker 6: to let ICE enforce law, uphold the ohth they took.
- 14:41Speaker 6: We're not going to be like the last administration who
- 14:43Speaker 6: told Ice instructed Ice you can't arrest somebody for simply
- 14:47Speaker 6: being here illegally. They got to be convicted of a
- 14:49Speaker 6: serious offense. That's not the law, says we're enforcing the law.
- 14:53Speaker 6: But look, immigration enforcement, I'm going to be clear. Immigration
- 14:55Speaker 6: force has always been emotional. It's always been controversial. I've
- 14:58Speaker 6: been doing this since nineteen eighty four. I get it,
- 15:01Speaker 6: and I understand why people want to come to the
- 15:04Speaker 6: greatest nation on Earth. I get it. Well, we can
- 15:07Speaker 6: send the message to the whole world it's okay to
- 15:10Speaker 6: enter this countryly. You don't worry about it. Emails of
- 15:12Speaker 6: crime coming enter I legally, and when you get order
- 15:15Speaker 6: removal from a judge, you don't have to leave. You
- 15:17Speaker 6: can become effusitive and we'll never look for it. We
- 15:20Speaker 6: got to send a message the whole world. There are
- 15:22Speaker 6: consequences of breaking laws, and I think that's why one
- 15:25Speaker 6: of the reason we have the most secure boarder in
- 15:27Speaker 6: history of this nation today. It's just not because we've
- 15:29Speaker 6: got boots on the ground on the border, not because
- 15:32Speaker 6: we end the catcher leaves a lot of its consequences.
- 15:35Speaker 6: You're watching what's happening, We're enforcing the immigration law, and
- 15:38Speaker 6: I think that consequence has a lot to do with
- 15:40Speaker 6: having the most secure border in the history of this nation.
- 15:43Speaker 5: Having the most secure border in the history of this nation,
- 15:46Speaker 5: exactly what President Donald Trump promised, and now we're seeing
- 15:49Speaker 5: the numbers backing it up.
