From the beginning God created His people to be in relationship with Him. Through humankind’s rebellion in the Garden of Eden, in the days of Noah, and at the tower of Babel, God has dealt decisively with sin while maintaining a way for His people to know Him. God called Abraham to be the father of a nation to be God’s own people. Through many years God nurtured Abraham’s family providing guidance through the law and the prophets.
