- 2:06Speaker 1: listening to the voice, come on digging now, one and
- 2:10Speaker 1: only Steve Harley got a radio show to date. Um,
- 2:15Speaker 1: I wanted to give you something that I've been learning
- 2:18Speaker 1: more and more U lately. Um. You know I'm a
- 2:24Speaker 1: I'm a huge fan of the book The Secret. But
- 2:28Speaker 1: I did myself a favor because I know I learned
- 2:30Speaker 1: better this way. I learned better about hearing, and so
- 2:34Speaker 1: I downloaded The Secret onto my iPhone. So I got
- 2:40Speaker 1: the audio book and man on, man on man, what
- 2:44Speaker 1: a smart move that really was for me? Because I
- 2:46Speaker 1: know how I learned. You know, I do very well
- 2:50Speaker 1: with visual When I can see what it is that
- 2:54Speaker 1: i'm after how to do something, I do it better.
- 2:57Speaker 1: And when I'm listening, I just I learned better. Like that.
- 3:01Speaker 1: I wish I had known that about myself in college
- 3:04Speaker 1: and stuff like that, where I didn't do so well.
- 3:07Speaker 1: If I could have learned that that's the way I learned,
- 3:09Speaker 1: I would have used more tools to help me. But um,
- 3:14Speaker 1: let's let's just say I figured it out. And so
- 3:17Speaker 1: I'm grateful for that. And and and and I was
- 3:21Speaker 1: listening to the audio portion of this book, and I've
- 3:23Speaker 1: been learning so much more. I've rephrased a lot of
- 3:26Speaker 1: it to fit how I think and more of how
- 3:28Speaker 1: I talk. And I just wanted to share that with
- 3:31Speaker 1: you this morning. Man. It might help you out a
- 3:33Speaker 1: great deal. And one of the things that my mother
- 3:36Speaker 1: had always taught me. And because it's a it's a
- 3:38Speaker 1: it's a spiritual thing with my mother's it's a biblical
- 3:42Speaker 1: reference to my mother. Uh And and the book The
- 3:45Speaker 1: Secret grabbed that principle and uses it very well. And
- 3:49Speaker 1: it's gratitude. I want to run this by you every
- 3:53Speaker 1: every day. You know what I started doing. I started
- 3:57Speaker 1: spending my every waking moment, being thankful, showing gratitude. Now,
- 4:05Speaker 1: the book it says to put that out there in
- 4:07Speaker 1: the universe. But if you're waking up and you're saying
- 4:10Speaker 1: thank you, I mean who you saying thank you too?
- 4:13Speaker 1: I mean, let's let's let's be real here that that
- 4:16Speaker 1: universe was created by God. That is my belief. That's
- 4:19Speaker 1: the majority of people's belief that I know. I'm not
- 4:21Speaker 1: knocking you. If you don't believe that, do you let
- 4:23Speaker 1: me know how they work out for you, though. But so,
- 4:26Speaker 1: my thank you is to my heavenly Father, as is
- 4:30Speaker 1: a lot of yours. But here's here's the here's the thing.
- 4:34Speaker 1: I started saying thank you from the time I wake
- 4:38Speaker 1: up till I go in the bathroom, till I shower,
- 4:43Speaker 1: till I dress, till I get in my van, till
- 4:49Speaker 1: I get to work while I'm on the elevator, until
- 4:54Speaker 1: I sit down and crack the mic. Now, somebody, somebody
- 4:58Speaker 1: might said, man, that's a lot of time. Not hold up, man,
- 5:01Speaker 1: hold hold up, it's really not. Because what it does
- 5:05Speaker 1: for you, it does more for you than for anyone else.
- 5:09Speaker 1: This is about you showing gratitude and being grateful it's
- 5:13Speaker 1: for you, and let me tell you what it does.
- 5:16Speaker 1: When I started doing this, man, it started changing my day.
- 5:22Speaker 1: It started changing my attitude towards the day. So when
- 5:27Speaker 1: the difficulties of the day began, they were nothing to
- 5:30Speaker 1: me because I was so filled with gratitude. I'm talking
- 5:34Speaker 1: about continuous thanks for all things. You cannot run out
- 5:38Speaker 1: of things to be grateful for, not if you fine
- 5:42Speaker 1: tune your gratitude, not if you do it in a
- 5:45Speaker 1: way where you're being very specific about what you're grateful for.
- 5:50Speaker 1: When you wake up and you're grateful for waking up,
- 5:53Speaker 1: When you're grateful for the ability to move today, when
- 5:56Speaker 1: you are grateful for the fact that you have solid
- 5:59Speaker 1: thoughts right now, that you are in your right mind.
- 6:03Speaker 1: When you start thanking him for the flexibility that you
- 6:06Speaker 1: feel in the morning and the stiffness and as it
- 6:09Speaker 1: wears off as you start moving around, that's another reason
- 6:13Speaker 1: to be grateful that you have a shower to take
- 6:16Speaker 1: that there are many people who don't have a place
- 6:19Speaker 1: to shower, That the fact that you're brushing your teeth,
- 6:23Speaker 1: the fact that you have somewhere to go, the fact
- 6:26Speaker 1: that your job may not be ideally the job you want,
- 6:29Speaker 1: but you have a job to go to, that you
- 6:32Speaker 1: have a measure of health, that you have a place
- 6:35Speaker 1: to go and get a cool drink of water to
- 6:38Speaker 1: start your day, or you can make a cup of coffee,
- 6:40Speaker 1: or the fact that you can grab yourself a yogat
- 6:42Speaker 1: on the way out the door. And the fact that
- 6:44Speaker 1: you have a way to get to work, whether it's
- 6:46Speaker 1: on the subway, the bus, the cab, or you have
- 6:49Speaker 1: the uh the wherewithal to walk to work or you
- 6:52Speaker 1: driving to work, and whatever kind of card is that
- 6:55Speaker 1: you have a place to be to provide when you
- 7:00Speaker 1: start really fine tuning your gratitude, it is amazing, man.
- 7:06Speaker 1: And what it does is it puts you in a
- 7:09Speaker 1: in a state of mind that is so uplifting to
- 7:13Speaker 1: you that it is the perfect way to start your day.
- 7:16Speaker 1: I'll think I'm clowning what you here. I am not.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Try it. Try it. You are what you think. So
- 7:25Speaker 1: you start the day off as this grateful creature, this
- 7:29Speaker 1: grateful person, this grateful soul. You start your day off
- 7:35Speaker 1: as grateful man on man on man. How good is that?
- 7:39Speaker 1: And it just spirals throughout your day and it puts
- 7:42Speaker 1: you in a great mood. My mood has totally changed.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I'm not a bad mood person anyway, but you know,
- 7:50Speaker 1: when my day started getting heavy. Man, Sometimes it gets
- 7:53Speaker 1: on me man, because I mean, I'm from the time
- 7:56Speaker 1: I wake up till I go home at night. Can
- 8:00Speaker 1: you imagine having somebody move you around all day? What
- 8:05Speaker 1: it would feel like to have somebody making you accountable
- 8:09Speaker 1: for every single moment of your day, The moment you
- 8:12Speaker 1: stopped to take a breath. Somebody finds that as an
- 8:15Speaker 1: opportunity to spend a moment with you because to them,
- 8:18Speaker 1: it's just a minute, but they don't know all the
- 8:22Speaker 1: minutes that's occupied in your day. Imagine that. So it
- 8:28Speaker 1: used to get on me real heavy sometimes, man. So
- 8:31Speaker 1: I try to steal some minutes here, steal some minutes there,
- 8:34Speaker 1: steal some man. But now, man it it don't jump
- 8:38Speaker 1: on me that way, you know what I'm saying. I look,
- 8:41Speaker 1: I gotta take some time to myself throughout the day.
- 8:44Speaker 1: So as soon as I get off the air, I
- 8:45Speaker 1: take a twenty minute break before I go to my
- 8:48Speaker 1: brief and to start my talk show. Uh you say,
- 8:51Speaker 1: twenty minutes ain't nothing. It ain't, but it's all I
- 8:53Speaker 1: got and I use it to shut myself down, meditate,
- 8:57Speaker 1: have a quiet moment, become even more ain'tful. Then after
- 9:01Speaker 1: the show is over, I got another briefing that I do.
- 9:04Speaker 1: I even I even have my lunch during the briefing.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I don't have a lunch where I sit down and
- 9:10Speaker 1: I'm in my room talking cheerful stuff. I'm doing the
- 9:15Speaker 1: briefing for the second show that I taped that day.
- 9:17Speaker 1: During my life. But I'm grateful for that. I'm grateful
- 9:21Speaker 1: for everything because, man, I have a show too that
- 9:26Speaker 1: keeps me busy. I have a radio show that keeps
- 9:28Speaker 1: me busy. I got another TV. I'm just grateful for
- 9:31Speaker 1: all of it. Man. And what happens is, let me
- 9:34Speaker 1: let me share this with you. It changes your focus
- 9:39Speaker 1: because now your focus is not on what you don't have.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Your focus is on what you do have. Do you
- 9:47Speaker 1: understand that amazing turnaround in your life if you can
- 9:49Speaker 1: make that when folks, if your focus became on the
- 9:53Speaker 1: things that you do have and your focus leaves the
- 9:56Speaker 1: things that you don't have, do you know the feeling
- 9:59Speaker 1: of accomplishment, the feeling of satisfy us satisfication, the feeling
- 10:06Speaker 1: of being feel and half empty and half full is
- 10:13Speaker 1: two different thoughts. It's amazing when you start thinking your
- 10:16Speaker 1: life is almost full, so full, instead of looking at
- 10:19Speaker 1: it as being so empty. When you change that focus
- 10:22Speaker 1: through gratitude, you then open up the pathways for more
- 10:27Speaker 1: stuff to come to you. A lot of us are
- 10:30Speaker 1: blocking our blessings today because we ain't grateful for the
- 10:33Speaker 1: ones we have. See we're so busy, we're so busy
- 10:36Speaker 1: telling God and putting out in the universe what we
- 10:39Speaker 1: don't have, what we ain't God, that we no longer
- 10:43Speaker 1: are receptive to things that we could have. You have
- 10:48Speaker 1: now blocked all your blessings from coming because your focus
- 10:52Speaker 1: is not on the come. It's to what you ain't got.
- 10:57Speaker 1: So how can more blessings come your way? How can
- 11:00Speaker 1: a good things come your way? How can positive things
- 11:02Speaker 1: start happening to you? If your focus is on the
- 11:05Speaker 1: negative things, if your focus is on the things that
- 11:08Speaker 1: you don't have, if your focus is on what you're
- 11:11Speaker 1: lacking instead of what the abundance that you have and
- 11:16Speaker 1: what you expect more of. If you change your gratitude,
- 11:22Speaker 1: you change your attitude and it changes your altitude. Man, Man,
- 11:33Speaker 1: use your gratitude to change your attitude. Which then affects
- 11:40Speaker 1: your altitude. Do you feel me? Now? Come on, man,
- 11:46Speaker 1: ain't that a good thing? I've had to rework it
- 11:50Speaker 1: to the way I say it, but man, that's been
- 11:52Speaker 1: so helpful for me every day. Start your data way.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Just try try it starting now, or you want to
- 11:58Speaker 1: get a fresh start during tomorrow morning. But watch what
- 12:00Speaker 1: happens to you. Okay, it's going to amazingly revolutionize the
- 12:05Speaker 1: way you face your day. You're listening to the Steve
- 12:09Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Eighteen minutes after the hour church music.

- 14:16Speaker 1: take it, so he leave it tonight on a midnight train. Well, Georgia,
- 14:27Speaker 1: you better preach up in here. Why am I saying
- 14:30Speaker 1: that is because in New Orleans there's an incredible event
- 14:38Speaker 1: going down. It's called Body Grind, Body Grind, and Weak.
- 14:47Speaker 1: And on the same weekend, the NBA thought it'd be
- 14:53Speaker 1: a good idea to have an All Star game at
- 14:57Speaker 1: the same time. How ChIL you're packing one weekend? How
- 15:03Speaker 1: many tricks gonna fly in the New Orleans for this?
- 15:07Speaker 1: Just gonna be hell on hot wheel? You to do?

- 15:26Speaker 1: And now they're gonna bring in the NBA players. You know,
- 15:29Speaker 1: the boys don't know how to stay out of New
- 15:31Speaker 1: Strip Club. But you're gonna mess around in New Orleans
- 15:34Speaker 1: going the wrong kind of strip club. We're gonna wind
- 15:37Speaker 1: up watching the duncan do some things that you didn't
- 15:40Speaker 1: know what was doing. But you're gonna going the mess
- 15:42Speaker 1: a rounding New Orleans, gonna find out what folk mention
- 15:45Speaker 1: really do? You around New Orleans and Barby Street got
- 15:49Speaker 1: treats for you. I don't think some of them NBA
- 15:52Speaker 1: players is gonna make it out of live this weekend.
- 15:55Speaker 1: They're gonna be in the news. They've been to be
- 15:57Speaker 1: on TMZ. Everybody going to New Orleans and see what
- 16:01Speaker 1: kind of fool they're gonna make out their self. Come on, Lebron,
- 16:05Speaker 1: make it back and stay clean. Watch yourself to ain't way.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Come back and be clean. Come on down now, come
- 16:13Speaker 1: mell Old, make it back like the strong fella that
- 16:16Speaker 1: you is. I'll tell you one thing. They need to
- 16:19Speaker 1: seeing Child's uklely down that this weekend and so we
- 16:22Speaker 1: could clean out from Cleveland. And what I'm talking about
- 16:28Speaker 1: is gonna be some problems some of them young players.
- 16:32Speaker 1: It's gonna get caught up in the hype. Some of
- 16:37Speaker 1: them young boys gonna get out now and gonna be
- 16:41Speaker 1: all over the police this week. Is My only wish
- 16:47Speaker 1: is that I was young enough to go my damn
- 16:50Speaker 1: self come out was where to God? I want to
- 16:53Speaker 1: be down there? If I could just be a fly
- 16:55Speaker 1: on the wall or wall on the fly, they don't
- 16:59Speaker 1: be no difference. What do you think the panther Raymond Green?
- 17:05Speaker 1: The photos are already down now, but they your picture
- 17:11Speaker 1: proceeds and your presence, Stefan career, all them stars is
- 17:17Speaker 1: gonna be dying there, shocking Barkley, old pros that know
- 17:22Speaker 1: how to do it. Take a lesson from them old
- 17:25Speaker 1: pros on how to that down now. Try to remember
- 17:28Speaker 1: that everybody got a phone camera. Gonna say it again.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Try to remember that everybody got a phone camera shooting
- 17:37Speaker 1: to be on it. And yeah, you find be sensational.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Well hip Hop's gonna be your new owner, timsy Well Star,

- 17:57Speaker 1: if they can't do you, they're gonna make up something
- 17:59Speaker 1: that we'll get you done. You gotta be careful when
- 18:02Speaker 1: you get out on the fuller. We wanted to inform
- 18:08Speaker 1: and don't forget the light skinned people path that's Steph
- 18:11Speaker 1: carry and running the board and warned the dunk contest. Yeah,
- 18:23Speaker 1: New Orleans proved too much for the man. One more
- 18:29Speaker 1: thing path could you take it? So he leaves on
- 18:36Speaker 1: a midnight train to well, Atlanta is in Georgia. Ain't
- 18:44Speaker 1: that much safer, But at least it ain't Marty Growl.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Marty Growl. In the NBA All Star Game, the Arrist
- 19:00Speaker 1: the Rappers, that's cash money territory. Yeah, that wheezy territory.

- 21:43Speaker 1: at Bobby J. Wilson's birthday party, his fifth birthday party.
- 21:46Speaker 1: First when hand held camera cameras came out the first
- 21:50Speaker 1: time he recorded at Uncle Reggid Wilson got into a fight.
- 21:54Speaker 1: M Okay, now his woman he had named her name
- 21:57Speaker 1: was Brenda Side, I Cooper. Okay, now Brenda's side Cooper.
- 22:02Speaker 1: We were called side because she had a lazy eye. Okay.
- 22:06Speaker 1: The I was always look it looked like she was
- 22:09Speaker 1: always looking at another man. According to Richie, Reggie called
- 22:12Speaker 1: her looking at Marvin Washington, who had just got home
- 22:16Speaker 1: from Jim. Okay, that is all at the baby fifth
- 22:19Speaker 1: birthday party. They got it all on camera. Reggie god
- 22:22Speaker 1: confront Marten about why is he looking at Brenda and
- 22:26Speaker 1: Brenda looking at him. Marga said, I'm not looking at
- 22:29Speaker 1: Brenda's side, I Cooper, because Brenda got a lazy eye.
- 22:32Speaker 1: That wasn't enough for Richard. Reggie swan on Marten, this
- 22:36Speaker 1: is on take nothing. Reggie swaan on Martha. If I
- 22:40Speaker 1: tell you that Marvin went ham on, Reggie beat the
- 22:44Speaker 1: frame off of them on this on camera. Now he
- 22:46Speaker 1: just got home. Okay, here, just got home. Beat the
- 22:49Speaker 1: frame off of took five men to get Marvin off
- 22:52Speaker 1: of Regie. They recorded it that night. The whole neighborhood
- 22:56Speaker 1: had heard about what happened at the birthday party. Everybody
- 22:59Speaker 1: came over and they aid to take They watched it
- 23:01Speaker 1: by the four hundred times. We just now known as
- 23:04Speaker 1: the first black reality show that we had ever seen. Why, yeah,
- 23:11Speaker 1: the first time a reality show had ever had. It's
- 23:16Speaker 1: still in circulation to day. What's their name again? Wilson?
- 23:21Speaker 1: And yeah, oh that bring the side cool side got
- 23:28Speaker 1: got re ass beat down. Marvin went to time. He
- 23:32Speaker 1: had to go back to jail because it was on tape.
- 23:36Speaker 1: First reality show it was not. It was that ass
- 23:40Speaker 1: swooping over Wills. Alright, nephew, what you got? Thank you?
- 23:45Speaker 1: You will all right here it is Man nineteen thirty six. Okay,
- 23:52Speaker 1: that is sick Hortensia Lavander Lewis. Alright, now listen her.
- 23:59Speaker 1: But this is in Lexington, Kentucky. Her butt was astronomically huge.
- 24:06Speaker 1: When she walked, her pennies would gather in the middle

- 24:25Speaker 1: She went to her mama, Henrietta Lewis, and asked her

- 24:32Speaker 1: panics and cut out as much as she could, but
- 24:37Speaker 1: still left from connected from the top to the bottom.
- 24:42Speaker 1: All right. Hortensia kept saying, Mama, this is wrong, this
- 24:46Speaker 1: is wrong, and her mama said, this is the only
- 24:50Speaker 1: way you're gonna be able to get by without all
- 24:53Speaker 1: these problems. There was the birth of the Throne. The
- 24:57Speaker 1: first throne was worn in nineteen thirty six by Hortensia
- 25:03Speaker 1: Lavander Lewis Lexington, Kentucky is where the thorne came from.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Put him on the map clothes. She just I'm just

- 25:27Speaker 1: but would literally eat half her dress everything, Galbert, I'm sorry,
- 25:32Speaker 1: all right. These are little known facts that are that
- 25:38Speaker 1: are no longer unknown. Alright, Coming up next, it's called
- 25:41Speaker 1: run that prankback. What I gotta get the whole type.
- 25:45Speaker 1: When I get back on the tell you I'm still

- 26:14Speaker 1: run that prank back. What is it, nephew, Let's get married.
- 26:19Speaker 1: Let's get married. It sounds good, but it's ignorant. You
- 26:24Speaker 1: doesn't know it's gonna turn on me and my friend
- 26:27Speaker 1: won't get married, that's all. Hold on? Is your friend ready?
- 26:34Speaker 1: But you are this way for the plan? How you doing?
- 26:51Speaker 1: My name is Virgil. I was reaching out to you,
- 26:54Speaker 1: trying to uh, well, I'm trying to get married and
- 26:57Speaker 1: I wanted to know what it took to get married
- 26:58Speaker 1: at your church. Excuse me, virgin? Quick question? Where'd you
- 27:03Speaker 1: get my personal noum? I'm not. I don't know where
- 27:07Speaker 1: I got to know. I mean, never mind, we'll deal
- 27:09Speaker 1: with it. What's your question? Well, what I'm what I'm
- 27:11Speaker 1: trying to get at is I'm trying to get uh,
- 27:14Speaker 1: I'm trying to get married. I really like your church.
- 27:17Speaker 1: I've been there several times and I'm really interested about
- 27:21Speaker 1: you know, what will it take to get married in there?
- 27:23Speaker 1: And I really I may be calling you at the
- 27:25Speaker 1: last minute, man, I want to get married at the
- 27:26Speaker 1: end of February. Well, being in the here, I we'll
- 27:31Speaker 1: have to go through counseling first, maybe four to six weeks,
- 27:35Speaker 1: and uh we can take it from there. Uh you
- 27:38Speaker 1: have to keep a call back on that. But tell
- 27:41Speaker 1: me a little bit about just a little well, well,
- 27:44Speaker 1: what it is that we would You know, we've been
- 27:45Speaker 1: trying to get married for a long time. We've had
- 27:47Speaker 1: a lot of difficulties with it and never really really
- 27:50Speaker 1: found the right church that we thought would be a
- 27:52Speaker 1: good place to get married. You know, I think it's
- 27:54Speaker 1: it's you gotta feel it in your heart that this
- 27:56Speaker 1: is the best place to get married, you know what
- 27:58Speaker 1: I mean. So, uh, you know, like I said, we've
- 28:01Speaker 1: been in your church uh quite a few times, maybe
- 28:04Speaker 1: about four or five times, and and we have you know,
- 28:07Speaker 1: both agreed that this would be the perfect place for
- 28:10Speaker 1: us to get married. Uh. You know remember at no, sir,
- 28:15Speaker 1: No sir, I'm not like I said, I visited. You know,
- 28:18Speaker 1: we've visited four or five times. We really liked it,
- 28:20Speaker 1: and we just were sold on trying to get married
- 28:23Speaker 1: at the church. Well, go through the count four to
- 28:26Speaker 1: six weeks, once a week and uh, we can talk
- 28:30Speaker 1: about the rest of it at another time, okay, okay,
- 28:33Speaker 1: And after that then you're saying we'll be prepared to
- 28:36Speaker 1: get married, then I would think, so, yeah, yeah, no problem.
- 28:41Speaker 1: How soon were you talking about Well, like I said,
- 28:43Speaker 1: we were trying to do it in the February. Let
- 28:45Speaker 1: me ask you this here now after going through counseling.
- 28:49Speaker 1: But we really have you be the person to actually
- 28:51Speaker 1: perform the ceremony, because that's what I know. That's I know,
- 28:55Speaker 1: that's what I want, because for you to actually to
- 28:58Speaker 1: perform the proceed Yes, that's okay. Well listen. Uh, Like
- 29:04Speaker 1: I said, let me apologize, I don't know I had
- 29:06Speaker 1: your personal number. I do apologize for that. I do
- 29:09Speaker 1: have my soon to be spouse on the phone, and
- 29:12Speaker 1: they would like to ask you a couple of questions too,
- 29:14Speaker 1: if that's all right. Yeah, it's okay, it's okay. I
- 29:17Speaker 1: can speak with her, okay. Uh, Alfred Alfred, Yes, yes, hi, pastor,
- 29:23Speaker 1: how are you doing? Go ahead of Alfred? Hey, hey,
- 29:26Speaker 1: how pass? My name is Alfred, and uh I wanted
- 29:28Speaker 1: to have a couple questions myself. I just wanted to
- 29:31Speaker 1: know how well it's the capacity of your church, because
- 29:33Speaker 1: we got quite a few few friends and family members
- 29:36Speaker 1: that we're gonna attend. So one thing I ain wanted
- 29:40Speaker 1: to know about. Uh, that's that's that's that sounds good. Well,
- 29:47Speaker 1: that's what That's what we wanted. We wanted to make
- 29:49Speaker 1: sure it was enough enough with our friends, and we're
- 29:52Speaker 1: probably gonna invite about three hundred friends, so that should
- 29:55Speaker 1: be fine. Pastor, when can we get when can we
- 29:58Speaker 1: get counseling started? We? Oh, um, Alfred, if you're you're
- 30:06Speaker 1: getting married, you have Alfred. I'm sorry, Alfred's who want married,
- 30:10Speaker 1: Pastor Alfred and are trying to get married? Body in
- 30:13Speaker 1: the way. So when can we actually excuse me? I'm sorry,
- 30:16Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I was talking to Virgil now I'm Virgil. Yeah, Oh,
- 30:23Speaker 1: Alfred is on the phone with me. Alfred is is
- 30:26Speaker 1: who I'm getting married to? So we want to know
- 30:28Speaker 1: when can who who whoa whoa? Excuse us? So, Pastor winn,
- 30:33Speaker 1: when when can we start cancl church? We? Who who is? We? Yes?
- 30:39Speaker 1: When when can we start? Excuse me? We we can't start,
- 30:43Speaker 1: No damn counter at my church. Not a steam about counseling.
- 30:49Speaker 1: You need to come to the Bible study was he
- 30:52Speaker 1: talking about the pros needs to be the problem. Excuse me?
- 30:56Speaker 1: What seems to be the problem? What is the problem
- 30:57Speaker 1: that we can't get married at your church? The problem
- 31:00Speaker 1: is the institute of marriage is between a man and
- 31:04Speaker 1: a woman. God did not put Adam in Eve to
- 31:09Speaker 1: be Adam Insteve. You just said we go through counseling
- 31:12Speaker 1: for four to six weeks. Everything would be fun. Hell counseling.
- 31:16Speaker 1: You're on another level. Now. I don't believe in same
- 31:20Speaker 1: sex marriage, bro, but people are the same sex are
- 31:24Speaker 1: getting married all over the country. So what seems to
- 31:26Speaker 1: be the problem? Pass right and long if that matters
- 31:31Speaker 1: to me what people are doing around the country. And
- 31:34Speaker 1: now we're sticking by the bill. The Bible says that
- 31:39Speaker 1: the institute of marriage is between a man and a woman.
- 31:44Speaker 1: I don't find you tube to do that. I really,
- 31:47Speaker 1: I'm really not a pussative of the phone call now
- 31:50Speaker 1: being insult how no, excuse me? No, No, I can't married.
- 31:55Speaker 1: But can you can you make an exception? I can't
- 31:58Speaker 1: make an exception. But we love you exactly, thank you, Alfred.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Yes we do. I'm glad you do. I'm happy for you.
- 32:06Speaker 1: But we don't know we don't really like that. Bro,
- 32:09Speaker 1: you wanna be ashamed of yourself. I don't want to slut. No,
- 32:14Speaker 1: I'm not a man and a woman. My third love
- 32:20Speaker 1: the mother and father and keys until his wife. You
- 32:25Speaker 1: don't see the problem here. I really don't have anything else.
- 32:29Speaker 1: I really don't have anything else to say. Okay, but
- 32:31Speaker 1: oh you go? Can I say something else to you? Hey?
- 32:34Speaker 1: You man, if love you already? The soulted me. We
- 32:37Speaker 1: got your number from Reverend Chapman. Reverend Chapman, the assistant
- 32:41Speaker 1: past The Reverend Chapman is the one thing Woman Chapman,
- 32:45Speaker 1: he gave you my no no, no, no no. Man.
- 32:52Speaker 1: I I really don't have much more time. I need
- 32:54Speaker 1: to talk to chat. Okay, okay, but Reverend Chapman said
- 32:57Speaker 1: you wouldn't have a problem marrying up. Reverend Chapman said
- 33:00Speaker 1: I wouldn't have a problem. Reverend Chapman said I wouldn't
- 33:05Speaker 1: have a problem marrying you. I'm really don't have mu
- 33:08Speaker 1: stand for you. Okay, Well, let me go ahead and
- 33:10Speaker 1: say this, Pastor, I just don't know of the assistant pastor.
- 33:16Speaker 1: I'm nephew Tommy from the Steve Harpin Morning Show. When
- 33:18Speaker 1: you've just been pranked. Wait wait, helloa later Wait, Uh,
- 33:42Speaker 1: I need to wait a minute, Chaps if Chapman, they've
- 33:46Speaker 1: got nothing better to do. We really need to sad

- 34:08Speaker 1: and I can guarantee you one saying he won't be
- 34:11Speaker 1: listening to the I gotta ask you this, what is
- 34:16Speaker 1: the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in

- 35:02Speaker 1: morning to tell us all about the movie Put your
- 35:04Speaker 1: Hands Together. Oh my god, the One and Only Ice
- 35:13Speaker 1: a little Stock. Good morning. How y'are doing? Good? Man?
- 35:17Speaker 1: How you doing? I'm doing real good. You know, got this,
- 35:20Speaker 1: got this hilarious movie coming out, the Law. So it
- 35:24Speaker 1: looks funny too, Oh it looks funny. Yeah, it's a
- 35:27Speaker 1: funny premise. Man. We all you know, we all know
- 35:30Speaker 1: about three o'clock bell ring and so to you know,
- 35:33Speaker 1: two of the students getting ready to fight. But this
- 35:35Speaker 1: is completely different. Man, tell us about it. You know,
- 35:40Speaker 1: everybody in every workplace, you know, it's somebody this close
- 35:44Speaker 1: to getting nick butt wolf right now. We're in school
- 35:49Speaker 1: and the school is so bad that it's the pressure
- 35:52Speaker 1: to teach us and to having to fist fight after
- 35:54Speaker 1: school three o'clock parking lot, Old school Stock. Yeah, we
- 35:59Speaker 1: know that. Teachers beefend, you know, teachers get into it. Yeah. Yeah,
- 36:10Speaker 1: and uh so we just we just took it to
- 36:13Speaker 1: the next level and have fun with it. Of course,
- 36:16Speaker 1: we don't condone. We don't condone no violence in the workplace.
- 36:20Speaker 1: But in a movie, how you go, Hey, man, our
- 36:28Speaker 1: boy Tracy Morgan back on the scene. Boy, what was
- 36:31Speaker 1: it like working with him? Back on the scene. Man,
- 36:35Speaker 1: it was just so good to have him around and
- 36:38Speaker 1: to see that he was the same old Tracy Morgan.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Tracy Morgan is the most inappropriate sincere sincere dudes, you know.
- 36:48Speaker 1: So he's both sides of the spectrum, you know what
- 36:50Speaker 1: I mean. So it's cool to to just have him around.
- 36:54Speaker 1: And I think the accident made him funnier, to be honest,
- 36:58Speaker 1: I love that line. I look like he's killing it
- 37:05Speaker 1: in this movie. Funny as ever. So man, y'all got
- 37:08Speaker 1: a lot of action going on. Cute man, you you're
- 37:10Speaker 1: there throwing throwing fists. Man, are you doing most of this? Hey? Man?

- 37:17Speaker 1: it was an eight day shoot for the just the
- 37:20Speaker 1: fight along took eight days to shoot because it's an
- 37:24Speaker 1: epic fight and it it goes on forever. I was like, damn, man,
- 37:28Speaker 1: are we shooting Rocky or we shot I still need
- 37:34Speaker 1: him Aside from that movie, man, I'm still sore I'm
- 37:37Speaker 1: shooting that movie. But it was all us for real
- 37:40Speaker 1: crazy snitches get stitches, Yeah, snitches get stitches for shows,
- 37:45Speaker 1: you know. And I've been wont to work with Charlie
- 37:48Speaker 1: Dave for a long time. Charlie Funny. He got his
- 37:51Speaker 1: own style of comedy. And I knew if me and
- 37:54Speaker 1: him did a movie together that that we kill it.
- 37:57Speaker 1: And uh, you know, fist Fight is hilarious on all levels.
- 38:01Speaker 1: And you know it's some scenes stealing things going on
- 38:04Speaker 1: in there. Man, that that people just gonna fall out
- 38:06Speaker 1: they see. Period. So did you learn anything man about
- 38:10Speaker 1: playing a teacher? Yeah? You know, I like playing a teacher.
- 38:13Speaker 1: I had a teacher like that name Mr Tucson, one

- 38:51Speaker 1: used to teach kids how to work with their hands.
- 38:53Speaker 1: And we had wood shop and he was a wood

- 45:28Speaker 1: I like me some um first of our Dennis Rodman
- 45:32Speaker 1: was so good in the game. And why do you
- 45:37Speaker 1: like Dennis Rodman so much? Because he was a rebounder.
- 45:40Speaker 1: He was a very good rebounder, and he was just
- 45:43Speaker 1: you know, he had more energy to anybody. What is
- 45:45Speaker 1: the greatest basketball player of all time? You can't say no,
- 45:49Speaker 1: damn Dennis right stupid. You don't even understand the game.
- 45:55Speaker 1: If you think he's the greatest basketball player of all time,
- 45:58Speaker 1: you don't even understand the game. I can beat you.
- 46:05Speaker 1: Is that a challenge? We gonna do what I however,
- 46:09Speaker 1: he wanted to deal with. But I'm just saying I
- 46:10Speaker 1: could beat him. Do you think he could beat Steve?
- 46:13Speaker 1: I can beat him in one of my outfits, trust me, really,
- 46:18Speaker 1: and one of your outfits. First, I ain't I tell
- 46:22Speaker 1: you back on the reel. On the reel if I
- 46:25Speaker 1: just went back out there for four days and just
- 46:28Speaker 1: got my rhythm back, it's gonna pull something. You you
- 46:33Speaker 1: are Tommy is this is me a year, this is
- 46:37Speaker 1: me and you? Right now? What I'm trying to use
- 46:43Speaker 1: them where they First of all, you, first of all,
- 46:46Speaker 1: let me explain something. You ain't a dog right now?
- 46:50Speaker 1: Then you can't beat me though. It's no way because
- 46:53Speaker 1: you had to have a lot of dog in you.
- 46:56Speaker 1: It ain't guess the dog get in the back. Well,
- 46:59Speaker 1: if you're in the fight where the doll get, it's
- 47:02Speaker 1: just the opposite. That's Dan. What happened? Do you want
- 47:07Speaker 1: to do? You want to play an I'll play Tommy.
- 47:10Speaker 1: I don't want to play you because I'm not. You
- 47:13Speaker 1: don't want to blame me because you don't deserve to
- 47:18Speaker 1: be on the same floor. Because you scared my Crows
- 47:20Speaker 1: album that we gotta go. We have scared nobody but
- 47:25Speaker 1: the people that know it. We have to go crossover
- 47:29Speaker 1: and scared nobody but Gloria, goodbye. Coming up next, we're
- 47:36Speaker 1: gonna go to the phones. If you're getting a tax return,
- 47:38Speaker 1: what are you planning on doing with that money? Part
- 47:40Speaker 1: two of this question? Uh, the NBA All Star Game
- 47:44Speaker 1: is this weekend in New Orleans. What do you think
- 47:46Speaker 1: and who do you think is the greatest basketball player
- 47:49Speaker 1: to ever play the game? You're listening morning show? Coming
- 48:03Speaker 1: up next, we're going to the phones. If you're getting
- 48:05Speaker 1: a tax return, what are you gonna do with your money?
- 48:08Speaker 1: And who do you think is the greatest NBA player
- 48:11Speaker 1: of all time? You know? The NBA All Star Game
- 48:14Speaker 1: is this weekend in New Orleans. Call us eight seven
- 48:17Speaker 1: seven twenty nine, Steve, we'll be back. All right. Let's
- 48:22Speaker 1: go to line two and talk to line three, that is,
- 48:25Speaker 1: and talked to Done out of Illinois. Hey, don are
- 48:29Speaker 1: you getting a tax return? Yes? All right? So what
- 48:32Speaker 1: you gonna do with your money? Done? Well? I have kids,
- 48:35Speaker 1: they have two kids, one boy, one girl, and I
- 48:38Speaker 1: like to spending all that I can. I isn't I
- 48:40Speaker 1: can to try to see if they'm have them what
- 48:43Speaker 1: they don't have? So I see you, I just spending
- 48:45Speaker 1: on my keys. Nice Hey, man, that ain't bad. All
- 48:50Speaker 1: lot of kids dont sixth one boy, one girl? Okay,
- 48:55Speaker 1: slow down on spending with the boy. Oh you know that? Yeah? Uh.
- 49:01Speaker 1: But that little girl just gonna keep on spoiling the
- 49:03Speaker 1: dog that has set the pattern for the boys to
- 49:06Speaker 1: come into her life because they don't they don't know
- 49:08Speaker 1: how they dad have treated them, and then they expect
- 49:11Speaker 1: that from a boy then and they get treated better
- 49:13Speaker 1: that way. Alright, alright, now, let me ask you this
- 49:16Speaker 1: here question, don the greatest basketball playoff all time? In
- 49:20Speaker 1: your opinion? What city you calling from down Chicago that
- 49:25Speaker 1: would definitely have something to do with this? What all
- 49:28Speaker 1: basketball player do you think is the greatest basketball play
- 49:31Speaker 1: off all time? So well, actually, Mr Harvey, if I
- 49:35Speaker 1: had to go back in time, I would save the
- 49:38Speaker 1: fools in there in the later days when they had
- 49:41Speaker 1: Bob Love and Earl of Pearl. But then I had
- 49:44Speaker 1: to bring it back to this time. Were as before
- 49:48Speaker 1: Jordan left the game. I had to say, even before Mike,
- 49:52Speaker 1: it was always Dr Jay. Wow, Okay, this is a
- 49:57Speaker 1: basketball connoisseur, he said, Earl the Pearl. I watched this
- 50:05Speaker 1: thing on thirty last night about the Knicks. Man Lord Jesus,
- 50:11Speaker 1: Dave Bushell, Dollar, Bill Bradley Field Jackson. Then they had
- 50:18Speaker 1: Cassie Russell, Willis Reid, Dick Barnett, Clyde Frasier, walk damn man,
- 50:28Speaker 1: that boy Walt Frasier. Y'all don't even y'all, y'all you
- 50:32Speaker 1: know what Junior? See you young mhm see y'all think
- 50:36Speaker 1: these teams today is so great? But if they have
- 50:38Speaker 1: played them boys back then and now they got their
- 50:41Speaker 1: laundry handed to him? Who what you mean? Who owe
- 50:45Speaker 1: you another? Yea? When you're stupid too? Did you just
- 50:53Speaker 1: say you gotta be stupid because you're young? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 50:58Speaker 1: that's usually when you're most stupid. I think back when
- 51:02Speaker 1: you was younger than this, when't you dumber than this? Yes?
- 51:05Speaker 1: She was? Ye a matter of fact, that comment was stupid.
- 51:09Speaker 1: I just put that. You don't yeah, yeah, yeah, that's
- 51:16Speaker 1: hard work man, all right? You think you think that
- 51:22Speaker 1: Steph curry Neil and the Cavaliers could have beat the
- 51:26Speaker 1: Lakers back then? I'm not saying that the showtime the
- 51:29Speaker 1: Lakers worthy? Hold on, Do you think that you think
- 51:38Speaker 1: that uh, Steph Curry Neil could beat the Boston Celtics
- 51:43Speaker 1: when when Larry Berg, Kevin mcale, Robert Harris was down there.
- 51:47Speaker 1: Don't you really think that, man, who is you talking to?
- 51:51Speaker 1: I'm talking to anybody listening? You think just because if
- 52:02Speaker 1: you show about what you're saying, then be show. Do
- 52:05Speaker 1: you think any wanted, any team could have beat Isaiah Thomas,
- 52:10Speaker 1: ricked My Horns, Dennis Rodman and then boys dog On
- 52:14Speaker 1: Joe dumars Man forever that they could have beat the
- 52:21Speaker 1: damn bad Boys the Detroit Pistol. Do you really think
- 52:25Speaker 1: there's a team today that could have done that? Raise
- 52:28Speaker 1: your hand? Come on, I'm listening, and y'all will we
- 52:35Speaker 1: come back after the break. Tommy gonna have a brank
- 52:37Speaker 1: phone call for us m find out what it is
- 52:40Speaker 1: right afterday you're listening to Steve, be back for the
- 52:48Speaker 1: day after that. Hey, y'all coming up the top of
- 52:50Speaker 1: the how we got strawberry letter? But come on food,
- 52:53Speaker 1: what you got in b iff you huh? No blacks
- 53:01Speaker 1: for you? N b F you, No blacks for you?
- 53:06Speaker 1: You too? Man? When he said it to me, I
- 53:17Speaker 1: got the brank coming. How y'all said back into that
- 53:24Speaker 1: ready set go people, it's black his money, n b
- 53:30Speaker 1: F you no black people here we go right after this. Hello,
- 53:39Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach uh Nicole. Please, how you doing? Listen,
- 53:45Speaker 1: I'm giving you a call. You you happen to be
- 53:47Speaker 1: UM in a relationship with a with a black man?
- 53:52Speaker 1: Am I? I'm all right, I'm sorry. Who is this?
- 53:55Speaker 1: I'm sorry? My name is Brian Well, I don't want
- 53:58Speaker 1: to give my full name, but it's Jediah Jediah Malcolm okay,
- 54:04Speaker 1: and and I'm sorry, why are you calling? Okay? You
- 54:07Speaker 1: now you you you are a Caucasian woman? Correct, Okay,
- 54:13Speaker 1: why I'm I'm still trying to get to why are
- 54:15Speaker 1: you calling? Well, what's going on is UM, I'm with
- 54:19Speaker 1: an organization and we're calling people who are in interracial relationships,
- 54:24Speaker 1: and for my understanding, you are in a interracial relationship. Correct, yes, okay,
- 54:31Speaker 1: I'm would n b FU and that's uh NBFU is
- 54:36Speaker 1: no blacks for you. And what we're doing is we're
- 54:40Speaker 1: trying to get uh racist to go back to dating
- 54:44Speaker 1: each other, you know, which means Caucasians going back. I'm sorry,
- 54:48Speaker 1: I'm sorry. At first, I don't know who do you
- 54:52Speaker 1: think you are calling my house? But that's just not
- 54:55Speaker 1: gonna happen. And I don't know where this organization is
- 54:57Speaker 1: based out of. I mean, you must be country bumpkin
- 55:01Speaker 1: or something, and you have just really called the wrong house. Okay,
- 55:04Speaker 1: well when uh NBFU man, it's been around since uh
- 55:09Speaker 1: the early nineteen forties. Yeah, I can imagine. I can
- 55:12Speaker 1: imagine that. I'm sure at some points you guys have
- 55:15Speaker 1: to shut down because this is just ridiculous. Do you
- 55:18Speaker 1: know what I mean? Obama's mother was white. Are you
- 55:20Speaker 1: gonna go knock on his door to what the hell
- 55:23Speaker 1: are you? I'm not gonna have time to knock on
- 55:24Speaker 1: Obama's door. He's busy to whatever play I'm trying to
- 55:28Speaker 1: do was get the rest of the country black. And
- 55:34Speaker 1: that's what I'm playing. What I'm trying to try to
- 55:36Speaker 1: tell us we can't be together because you're black and
- 55:39Speaker 1: I'm white. He's calling you know what's up? Who is? Uh? Okay? Who? Who? Who?
- 55:47Speaker 1: Who is this? This is a I'm a man who this? Okay?
- 55:52Speaker 1: This is Jeodayah Malcolm. And what I'm doing, man, is well,
- 55:56Speaker 1: you know, I'm with an organization called n b f
- 55:59Speaker 1: U and NBFU man, there's no blacks for you, which
- 56:02Speaker 1: what we're trying to do is we're trying to get
- 56:04Speaker 1: all races to go back to each other. What you're
- 56:07Speaker 1: telling get tripping? Man? You are what what? What kind
- 56:11Speaker 1: of organization has that y'all are tripping? Okay, brother, let
- 56:14Speaker 1: me ask you something. You don't feel You don't feel
- 56:16Speaker 1: empty without the sister on your side. You don't feel
- 56:19Speaker 1: empty without loving black woman on your side. That's what
- 56:24Speaker 1: I'm asking you, brother. I got I got plenty of
- 56:26Speaker 1: black women on my side, but that don't mean that
- 56:28Speaker 1: I had to be in a relationship with a black woman.
- 56:30Speaker 1: I'm in relationship with a woman I loved, So that's
- 56:32Speaker 1: what it's about. Now, I don't feel empty. That's the
- 56:34Speaker 1: first problem with your organization right there. That the premise
- 56:37Speaker 1: is wrong. Okay, okay, okay, but brother, what we're trying
- 56:40Speaker 1: to do, man, we don't want to lose our rate.
- 56:43Speaker 1: We don't want the blacks to lose the strength that
- 56:45Speaker 1: we have. And if blacks continued to date and mate
- 56:47Speaker 1: with blacks, then we would be as powerful and stronger
- 56:51Speaker 1: than any other race in the world. What do you
- 56:53Speaker 1: get this number from? Man? Excuse me? How do you
- 56:55Speaker 1: get this nothing? In the first Like, dude, I mean
- 56:57Speaker 1: I ain't got time all this man. This is a
- 56:59Speaker 1: not is bro? How you why are you calling that? Hey? Man?
- 57:02Speaker 1: Because on y'all or interracial or a couple? Yeah, but
- 57:05Speaker 1: what business does that? Man? That ain't not in your business? Hey,
- 57:07Speaker 1: but it is my businesses I'm with if I'm with
- 57:09Speaker 1: N B L. You know who? You're a black person
- 57:14Speaker 1: that integrated within another race. And what we're trying to do, man,
- 57:17Speaker 1: is get you to understand to come back to your
- 57:20Speaker 1: race and be comfortable and happy in your race. You know, really,
- 57:25Speaker 1: now come back to my race. I never left my
- 57:27Speaker 1: lazy dog. You're a trip him, yo, and be you
- 57:31Speaker 1: you y'all get off our phone. Man, don't call here
- 57:34Speaker 1: no more? With that? Do you think that you are
- 57:36Speaker 1: happier with a Caucasian woman than you would be with
- 57:39Speaker 1: a black woman? Man, I don't even I don't want
- 57:42Speaker 1: to entertain it. Don't call here no more. Don't call
- 57:46Speaker 1: here no more? What do you let me ask? You?
- 57:48Speaker 1: Be a man and answer the question? Dog? You know
- 57:51Speaker 1: what you're about to get your dog? You know you really,
- 57:55Speaker 1: you really gonna get you up? Will be a man
- 57:58Speaker 1: as great? You know what? If you bring it over here,
- 58:02Speaker 1: you'll find out how much of a grown man? I am, Hey, man,
- 58:05Speaker 1: don't get your man while I'm in the middle of
- 58:07Speaker 1: asking you these questions, because I ain't got no problem
- 58:10Speaker 1: coming over there. I got your phone number, I got
- 58:12Speaker 1: your address to bring your gown over and see what
- 58:15Speaker 1: you frying. I'm asking you about these relationships? Man, Are
- 58:19Speaker 1: you more comfortable in a relationship with a Caucasian woman
- 58:23Speaker 1: than you are with a black woman? Dog? I told
- 58:26Speaker 1: you Land it ain't even about that, and we ain't
- 58:28Speaker 1: even going into that. So look this, please, brother, can
- 58:32Speaker 1: you stop calling him? Don't call my girl. We're calling
- 58:35Speaker 1: all interracial people around the country. That's what n b
- 58:39Speaker 1: F you does. We call all of y'all and we
- 58:42Speaker 1: try to talk some sense in to you and see
- 58:44Speaker 1: if you can change the world and go back to
- 58:46Speaker 1: the racist from which is you came. You're tripping. You're
- 58:50Speaker 1: really tripping, man. You know what. Obviously you you just
- 58:54Speaker 1: a mental institution you're calling from because there's something wrong
- 58:56Speaker 1: with you. So look, don't call him no more, and
- 59:00Speaker 1: we ain't got no more problems. I say this, I
- 59:02Speaker 1: say this to you. I'm going to your your girl's job,
- 59:06Speaker 1: and I'm talking to her face to face. Tomorrow about
- 59:09Speaker 1: this whole situation. You know what, and you're gonna get you. No,
- 59:12Speaker 1: I ain't getting my I'm going tomorrow, and I'm talking
- 59:15Speaker 1: a matter of fact, I ain't even call to talk
- 59:17Speaker 1: to you. You put her back on the fall. Damn
- 59:19Speaker 1: what you showed at a job, Deman, he would happen.
- 59:23Speaker 1: I'm showing up at her job. Put her back on
- 59:26Speaker 1: the phone. Show up at her job tomorrow, see what happens.
- 59:29Speaker 1: You didn't change, man, You change. Don't know me from
- 59:31Speaker 1: the beginning. How are you gonna come down and change?
- 59:34Speaker 1: You don't know me? Look at me. I know how
- 59:36Speaker 1: your brothers get. Man. I'm as black as I ever was,
- 59:39Speaker 1: and you can't measure my blackness because of who I'm dating.
- 59:42Speaker 1: You show up at a job tomorrow, You're gonna get
- 59:44Speaker 1: your You ain't gonna sit and threaten me. Man, I
- 59:47Speaker 1: am with you. You don't work him up, and now
- 59:50Speaker 1: I'm work that here. You're done. You're done, so you
- 59:53Speaker 1: can stop calling the housing to your job. Do you
- 59:57Speaker 1: want to I'm coming again. A matter fact, you can
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: have your man at your job at lunch time. Not
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: only am I gonna talk to you at lunch time,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: I'm a whooping. There's not gonna be any talking. You
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: show up, there's not gonna be any talking. Yeah, it's
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: gonna be man, you have a discussion to uphold and
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: help you won't. Okay? You know what? There's a saying,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: are you on what the fool? Makes you a fool?
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: So this conversation is over? Could I say one more
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: thing to you? Watch? This is nephew Timmy from the
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Steve Hobby And Morning Show. You just got pranked by
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: your girlfriend. My goodness. Wow. Okay, he's about to take
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: his bloody nephew Tommy. I ain't another like it. Gotta
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: ask y'all before I leave, and I need to hear
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: this from both of y'all. What is the baddest ray
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: video show in the land? Did I take the White
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: Lady though? Yeah? Took on the trip man. That's get
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: on the lane. That's how we do it. Tell him
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: what we are at tonight? Man? Oh man, tonight, don't
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: we definitely win it? Hall in Portsmith, Virginia o'clock show,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: were about to do this off we again here that
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: come on? Way to win it? Hallet it. You're listening
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, all right, it's a time.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: Let's buckle up and hold on time. Here it is strawberry,
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: all right, here we go. Subject robbed at gunpoint. It's
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: been a nightmare. Stephen Shirley, please help me. I was
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: robbed at gunpoint and my spouses teenager set it up
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: and watched. My children were there. It was very scary.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: My spouse never disciplined to his child for this. We
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: don't have a good relationship. Blended families are not easy,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: but if both adults are not on the same page,
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: it won't work. I've had to deal with disrespect, theft,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: et cetera. But the icing on the cake was the robbery.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: Forgiveness is the hope that the past could have been different.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: I've told my spouse I will forgive in my time.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: I've been asking God to help me with this. My
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: spouse and I have decided to go our separate ways.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: He wanted us to work it out, but I refused
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: to live like a prisoner. We have children together, and
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: their happiness is important to me. I've never been rich,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: but I feel like I struggle more financially when he
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: was in the home. I'm still struggling, and I pray
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: every day that things will get better. Please help me.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: Thank you. This is really awful. Uh, and I don't
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: understand how this happened with no percussions. A true statement
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: you made in the letter, blended families are not easy.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Very true statement, but but really, who expects to be
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: robbed by one of the blended family members? Who expects that?
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: Another true statement you made if if both adults are
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: not on the same page, it won't work. That's really true,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: and that's why your stepchild wasn't reprimanded for setting up
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: and watching this robbery his dad. Your husband didn't step
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: in and handle it. You're his wife. His kid had
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: you set up to be robbed and then he watched it.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Your husband should have handled that. He should be taking
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: care of you, you know what. I'm just really I'm
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: glad that you guys are going your separate ways. I
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: really am. This is not going to work. You're right, Um,
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: it's good to end it here because your husband and
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: his criminal kids have just brought nothing but pain and
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: misery to your life. You should have left a long
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: time ago. You and your kids are better off without them.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: That's what I say, Steve. I'm still struggling, and I
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: pray every day that things will get better. Hope is
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: the beginning of the turnaround process. Then once you learn
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: how to hope strong enough, then hopefully that turns into faith. Hope.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Hope is the beginning of the process. You know, it's
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: it's it's it's hope. Hope means a brighter outlook. That's
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: what hope is. I have hope for them, arow, I
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: hope it gets better. You know, it's usually you're done
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: in a positive way, so I think you're on the
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: right path. I think you need to turn this into
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: faith though, and know that things are gonna get better
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: because you've been delivered from obviously a horrible situation. My
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: spouse is teenager. I was robbed at gunpoint and my
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: spouses teenager set it up and watched right after that.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: If I was writing this letter, it would just have
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: dot dot dot, and then you'd see a whole bunch
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: of stuff you couldn't read, and be blood on the paper,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: and it'd be a lot of tails and stuffy be
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: blood on the paper, and then what is it that's
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: where the boy was prying when I was hanging him over.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: I can tell you a lot that's gonna happen, but uh,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: your children were there. It was very scary. And then
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: your spouse, who is your husband, never disciplined his child
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: for this. Wait a minute, wait, wait a minute. You
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: got robbed at gunpoint by your stepson. I'm assuming in
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: this blended family that you say are not easy, which
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: is true, yours really ain't easy because they robbing you
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: at gunpoint. I've had a couple of problems in the
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: blended family too, but I bet you one thing. Bet
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: not now one of them pull a gun out and
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: pointed at me and don't kill me. Okay, let me
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: watch this letter, y'all. I really can't even get my
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: You should have you shouldn't. You should have did that
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: this boy. You should have called the police, but didn't understand.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: No mom wants to call the police and what's supposed
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: to be her child. I do understand that. But this
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: dad who allowed this to happen without disciplining this boy,
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: discipline is on the word. I don't know what. I'm sorry.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I can't even formulate my thoughts about this one.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: I really apologize because normally I'm better than this. But
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: this letter right here, If you're angry, you're upset. Who
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: does this? I mean, how could something like this happen
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: and he not step up? I'm levels, I mean, I
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: don't know where to start with my anger. First of all,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: this dude set you up. But this is your child, stepson.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: But did daddy know about it? It ain't did nothing,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: and he wants to work it out. He wants to
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: work the marriage out. We got you got somebody rob
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: your wife, man, and you watch and you don't do nothing?
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: Body you ain't no man. I don't see why you
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: want to stay with a dude that ain't a man?
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: No damn? What get out now? All right? Uh well,
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: let formulate your thoughts Steve party can get it together
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: coming up twelve after you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning show. Hey,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: I got part to this letter coming up, so don't
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: go away. All right, Let's get back to this ignorant
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: that robbed the gunpoint this lady and spouses teenagers set
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: it up and watched her children with their was very scary.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: My spouse never disciplined his child for this. We don't
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: have a good relationship. Blended family is are not easy
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: and what blended families ain't? This though? Um, but if
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: both adults are not on the same page, it won't work.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: That's another true statement. I've had to deal with disrespect, theft,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: et cetera. Icing on the cake was the robbery. Forgiveness
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: is the hope that the past could have been different.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: I told my spouse I will forgive in my time.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: I've been asking God to help me with this. My
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: spouse and I have decided to go out separate ways.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: He wanted us to work it out, but I refused
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: to live like a prisoner. We have children together, and
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: their happiness is important to be I've never been rich,
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: but I feel like I struggle more financially when he
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: was in the home. I'm still struggling, and I pray
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: every day that things will get better. Please help me.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: I can't comment on this letter because I'm I'm really
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: for the first time. I'm so mad on so many
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: levels because the father, for starters, allows this to happen.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: A man will not allow his wife to be robbed
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: and he witnessed it and know who did it, and
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: don't do nothing. That ain't no man. There ain't no
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: man gonna let nothing happen to his girl like that,
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: and he won't do nothing next level. My son puts
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: my wife at gunpoint. Boy, But that's okay, that's the
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: other level. This might mean me and you going to
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: take this daddy something to a whole another level. That's
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: disturbing the fact that the son sets it up and
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: watches his stepmother, who, no matter how you feel about her,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: does she deserve that. And suppose that damn gun go off.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: You know, it's so many levels. And then the daddy
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: don't do nothing about it, and then they're breaking up.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: He want to work it out. She's struggling with the
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: forgiveness part of it. Man, looking forgive and leave. You
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: can forgive, please get out. Yeah, but see what you
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: will even to do is be a prisoner in the house.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: Like she said, he's still his stuff. Got a gun point.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: I'll tell you what though, good point this boy. I
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: cannot kill him and his cool boy had to beat
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: a press charge. Boy had to be and it's cool.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: I just what a hot whatever whatever age that he is.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: I got time. Yeah, And she says she's still struggling.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: We understand that it's over. That you take a baseball
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: back down there and get rid of some of his tension.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: What to do with the body all right. Today's letter
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: is posted on Steve Harvey dot com. You can also
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: tweet or instagram me your thoughts at my Girls Shirley
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: Now coming up after the break at thirty four after
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: the hour NBA All Star Game this weekend. Who is
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: the greatest basket ball player to ever play the game? Tommy,
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: who you think it is? It's Jordan Jordan's hands down.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: I love Lebron, but it's Jordan. Well, Lebron is still playing. Yeah,
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: but he didn't done that already. You know what. I'm
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: wait when he finish his career. We'll see. You're listening
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey, I questioned the day
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: are you getting a tax refund? What are you playing
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: on doing with the money? And Part two, The greatest
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: basketball player of all time? Hey, uh, time to give
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: me your top five best players? Think about it and
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna come back to you, Junior. Give me your
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: top five. I'll think about it. I'm gonna come back
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: to you. All right. We could go to phone, but
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: let me do this right. Save you some time here.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: Top five basketball players of all time Julie Jordan's, Kobe Bryant, Magic,
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: Johnson Burg and a chem Lash one nice? Wow? How
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: many did you name? Though? I ain't five? Michael Jordan,
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: Kobe Bryant, Madgic Johnson, Larry Bird, and Kim Lodge one wow, Tommy,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: all right, y'all got a bad women on this now.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: Jordan's yeah, Lebron, Muggsy Bowl, Spud Webb and Chris Paul.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: You pick off short. I tried to school with Nate
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: Robinson in there. But I have you said five? Why
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: are you laughing so hard? Just over five? What's Jordan
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: was the greatest player of all time? Bird and magic
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: are one because they made each other. You can't say
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: magic without saying bird. You can't say bird without saying magic.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: So magic bird is one. You just can't. You can't
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: separate them to man from college when it was Indiana
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: against Michigan State, I mean not Indiana, but the school yet,
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: a little school in Indiana French Lique from that all
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: the way through the part. You can't the one without
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: the other. It's not so. I considered him one. Magic
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: and Bird same, So that's two. Lebron James has done
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: enough to go down in history. Is one of the
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: greatest basketball players of all time. The next most I'm
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: a little torn with this window. I want to give
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: Kobe his due because Kobe asked, man bald he dad,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: boy bawled man, and he bawled with an intensity, you know.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: And did did he win a ring without shock? Yes?
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: He did? See See, So I had to get a
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: boy his I had to get that boy head. And
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: then the person that changed the game to revolutionized basketball
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: was Kareem I d Jibal. I just thought that that
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: boy right there, that sky hook and then he eliminated.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: They stopped dunking in college because of him. You could
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: not dunk because of Kaream. They ruled out dunking. Because
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: of Kaream up du Jibal, they stopped dunking in college basketball.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: It was the craziest thing you've ever seen. Still, like
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: Elijah one for Jr. I mean, it's cool this. Everybody
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: got their opinion. But Kareem du jaibab no, sir, no sir.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: When you threw it to him, he was money. He
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: was money man. So Dr J didn't make your five
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: not the greatest five hand. Yeah, he's a great ball,
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: and he's right. I'm talking about what I saw revolutionize
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: the game. Now, if I told you all the real truth.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: You wouldn't even understand it because you don't even you
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: don't you don't even know nothing about Oscar Robinson. You
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: don't need to understand what he was. So I just
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: ain't even don't need to me throwing that in there,
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: because y'all you don't even know that. You don't even
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: know l Jim Bail. You're sounding mad though, Yeah, you
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: will chamber it boy hunting points in the damn I'm
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: talking about doing ignorant mess. I've seen all that. You
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: don't need to me throwing that in there. Because women, right,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: that's the one they had. Other women he puts some
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: numbers up, well, had more women than Rodman had points
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: women in his career. Alright, coming up at the top
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: of the hour, we will have Steve Harvey World premiere
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: of a brand new Mary J. Blive song. Okay, alright,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: this one's called You plus Me love lesson. Mary J
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: wanted to Steve Harvey Nation to get to hear it first,
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: and we will play it at the top of the hour.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: We'll be back. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: All right, here we go, alright, floats, marching band, street
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: parties and Uh, they're about to converge with slam dunks,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: three point clays, and buzzer beaters in New Orleans. It's
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: gonna be a lot going on in New Orleans. Yes,
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: Marty Grass, revelers and basketball fans alike, We'll let the
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: good times roll when New Orleans Marty Gras meets NBA
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: All Star Weekend. I love it. Let's go. This is
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: gonna be a lot going on in New Orleans. Yes,
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: Marty Gras, revelers and basketball fans alike, will let the
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: good times roll when New Orleans Marty Gras meets NBA
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: All Star Weekend. I love it. Let's go. Marty Gras
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: is one reason why the NBA's annual showcase is in
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: New Orleans for a third time. When the NBA pulled
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: the two thousand seventeen All Star Game from Charlotte because
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: of a North Carolina law that limits the protections of
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: LGBT people, New Orleans hurriedly put together a bid to
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: host that the full weekend of events involving celebrities and
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: the NBA elite would coincide with the first major Marti
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: Gras Parade was pitched as more of a selling point
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: than a complication. I love it. We were in a
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: good position in that we were already prepared for Marty
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: Gras and already had our special events operations going, uh
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: to kind of plug the NBA into that. Ryan Bernie,
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: a spokesman for our friend Mayor Mitcheland, said in an
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: interview with The Associated Press, I love it. They were
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: already ready for Marty Gras. So yeah, let's come on,
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: let's bring it on down the All Star Game. Okay.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: NBA owners, officials, players and other dignitaries yet have been
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: invited to parties at prime viewing areas along with historic St.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: Charles Avenue on Friday night, and they'll have an opportunity
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: to experience Marty Grass like a local. This is according
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: to Jay Cicero, he's president of the Greater New Orleans
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: Sports Foundation. What a great way to expose Marty Grass
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: to people who may never have seen it. Said right now,
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: I can I say my husband is on his way.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: Go ahead and don't lose your mind. He get real
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: brand new though. My husband when he goes home to
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: New Orleans a real different he that's funny, right yeah,
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: with his fellas the guys, Because you know, I went
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: to the super Bowl. So he's like, that's cool, that's
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: all Star. Go on, have fun. Did he tell you
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: to have fun? Yeah, don't go kicking, don't call he
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: already told you, Carl, don't come back by then, Ye
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: go to clubs all of that. Yeah. When I came back,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: he was like, from the super Bowl. Yeah, man, the fellas. Yeah,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: we haded to an NBA All Star road trip. Got
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: my sick gards, he said, and his mighty grotto. I'm
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: going home. He got his beads, he got everything. You
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: don't throw no beans. You get your hand broke, throw
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: your beads up to me something, Mr. That's what you say,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: the beads, you say, throw me something, Mr. And you
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: got some beans. But call all right now, alright, what
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: you do? And you got him? Call him before you
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: gotta get him first. We can see I'm married to
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: a man from New Orleans. All right, let's go. Let's
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: go to the were going to Yeah, if you're right,
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: if you're gonna get a tax return, what are you
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: gonna do with that money? And here's part two of
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: that same question. Who do you think is the greatest
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: basketball player of all time? Allen out of Texas. Steve Alan, Hey,
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: what's uping? Man? What up with you? Boy? I don't
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: see harn dog. I'm just uping here. You're doing what
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: I do. Man, I'm just making it happen, Make it happen,
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: and allan, Allan, I I fear no man, but God, Hey,
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: I feel you, man, I feel you. God bless you. Man.
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: I feel the man to God myself. Man, but I
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: swear I don't a man. You're getting a refund check man,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: that's what they tell me to see it first. What
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: they chell me, I don't know, you know what to
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: the loans man? If you stinking up for you? Man,
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: I don't never playing for nothing, but yeah, do give
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: me something. Man, I'm gonna pray. How do you Bettles though?
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: All right? Yeah, man, I ain't mad at you. Man.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: I tried to see Nethew Timmy that this ticket is
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: too high? You know what I'm saying? How much? How
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: much his tickets? Man? Man, this ticket his ticket was up.
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: That man, the scalpell trying to get you man. That
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: wasn't mean that was the scalpel. No, I ain't done that.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: I ain't I wouldn't do that. Why why time of
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: tickets so high man. I guess that's he got to
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: pay all the people you game, and I mean like
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: they're the same people. I don't know when that's funny
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: if everybody got to get the cut, you know how? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: tell me how much this ticket down? For real? Man

- 1:22:51Speaker 1: really really cool person. All right, Speaking of Mary J.
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: This past Saturday, Mary J performed and warned the audience
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: at the Clive Davis Gala uh that she was not
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: in a good place. Okay, so you know what that
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: means when she's not side. She says I look happy somewhat,
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: but I'm going through some horrible stuff right now. She
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: was about to perform and tribute to Saturday Nights on
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: a re b Et Networks president Deborah Lee. She says,
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: it's called a divorce. H it's called a divorce that
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: it ain't got hig behind the scene day anyway, Mary J.
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: We are rooting for you. We are some spouse was
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: support how much he wanted kind of foolishness Hunter sometimes
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: on a month or something like, Yeah, you've got to
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: get your answer job, man, you gotta get your answer job.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: Dog about going to take care of you? A chef?
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: You better get you some passing plays. You better ask
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: for something to cook with. About to take care of you.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: I don't know, man. The divorces ugly. Man. I feel
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: bad because she's got to keep trying to live and
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: do her thing in her career. It's always sad when
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: the other person can just sit and make allegations and attack.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: Why you out there still trying to make your life
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: working happen. And boy, let me tell you something, when
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: they attack you, they got time. They got time. You
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: know the part that I don't like. Here's here's the
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: thing that has to change in this country. When you
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: sue a person or make a claim against a person
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: and it's of the false nature, and then you go
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: to court and then the one person that you accused
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: gets he's vindicated. It didn't happen. If you find out
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: that you was lying and you bought four false something
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: should happen to you, Something should happen to your You
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: can't just skip your ass on back to the house. Well,
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: I didn't get the millions. I thought I was gonna
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: get nice try and then some damn lawyers sitting up
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: there he didn't invested two three hundred thousand of his
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: money because he's thinking he's about to hit the potted
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: goal at the end of the rainbow. So they all
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: then they dragged you through the mud. Then you get vindicated,
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: then you get to just skip off like ain't nothing happened.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: That's unfair, man, it is. That's unfair man. I really
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: don't like in divorce, and I've been divorced as well,
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: when the man tries to get money from the woman.
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: You know, I can't like alimony and stuff. I cannot
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: with that. Sorry. I don't care how the woman was
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: or how much money she has you know. Now, let
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: me tell you something. I understand a woman's position. She
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: has children. She sacrificed herself to help you get where
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: you are. You know, she gave of herself. I noticed
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: and men saying, well, we did the same thing, but
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: not actually. Um, you know, you jumped on a banana
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: boat dog and it was full of fruit. Um. I
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: think that women who are you know, domestic engineers and
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: give them themselves. And you marry this man, and y'all
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: build this life together, you know, and then y'all build
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: a life together, and their divorce it's gonna be some
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: ALIMONYA I got that, I really do, but I'm sorry.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: But a man though, that marries a woman who's already famous,
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: already working, and then you marry into that. And now
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: you want to check, bro, Come on, you want to
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: shift looking for you the rest of your life to
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: get you a barbecue pit man and get out there
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: and make some sense and some money, make some sand. Hey. Sure,
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: it's tough, man, it's tough to get a divorce and
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: still go to work and get all that. It's like
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: somebody died in your life. That's what it feels like.
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: A death. Yeah, And that's what and a lot of
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: people say that it feels like death, like you lose someone.
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: What did yours feel like? See both of them? Oh, okay,
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: let's move on. Be honest. The first woman, it was
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: it was really me. Be honest with you. It's really me,
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: just totally. That's all I could say. It was just
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: all me that first and you were really young. Man.
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: I ain't had nothing, man, I didn't have nothing. I
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: didn't had nothing, guild offer. I thought I had a plan.
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: A couple of things went wrong. Man, I just it
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: wasn't It wasn't hurt, man, it just wasn't. No. I mean,
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: you know, I said it at my daughter's wedding, you know,
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: when I gave my speech, and I think, you know,
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: Marjorie and everything for pulling the family together, and I
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: think Brandon calling for staying together, and I think, but
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: then I turned around and I said, I have to
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: think marsh for raising my daughters the way she did,
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: you know, for taking them to church and putting them
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: in dance class and teaching them. You know, this woman
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: did did all that without me, that in front of
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: all those people. You know, I knew all the people
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: was from Cleveland. I knew. Have her family hated me?
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: I know? Yeah? Coming up next Pastor Motown, Deacon Death
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: Jam in the building, Help you have food in the corners,
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: mouthful lot of time Coming up next Pastor Motown, Deacon
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: Death Jam in the Building, her Morning show. All right?
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: Coming up next Pastor Motown and Deacon Death Jam are
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: here singing my thank you. You're in the mood we
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: we today. I want to bring something to your attention.
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: All right. Uh. The simon for today is New Orleans
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: is too much, yeah to talk about. Yeah, matter of fact,
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: let's go deeper. New Orleans. It's too much. New Orleans
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: proved too much for the man. He couldn't take it,
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: so he's leaving, leaving on a one on the midnight
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: train to Joe. Right. That's right. There's someone are calling
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: me right now and they don't know that I'm in
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: the middle of a sermon and I'm gonna have to
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: call you back. Uh. New Orleans proved too much for
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: the maid. He couldn't take it, so he leave it
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: tonight on a midnight train. Well, Georgia, you better preach
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: up in here. Why am I saying that? Is because
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: in New Orleans there's an incredible event going down. It's
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: called Body Grind, Body Grind and Weak And on the
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: same weekend, the NBA thought it'd be a good idea
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: to have an All Star game at the same time.
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: How much hell can you packing one weekend? How many
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: tricks gonna fly in the New Orleans for this? It's
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: gonna be hell on Hot Wheel and New all to do.
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: Ain't no truth for you. Everybody in New Orleans going
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: to hell this weekend. Marty gral Beach, women pulling up
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: their chests, showing their boobies, everything for a little Ruby.
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: And now they're gonna bring in the NBA players. You
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: know the bus don't know how to stay out of
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: New strip club. But you're gonna mess around in New
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: Orleans going the wrong kind of strip club. We're gonna
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: wind up watching the Duncan do some things that you
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: didn't know was doing. You're gonna going there mess around
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: in New Orleans, gonna find out what folk men really do.
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: You're like around New Orleans and Barby Street got tricked
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: for you. I don't think some of them in BA
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: players is gonna make it out of live this weekend.
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: They're gonna be in the news they've been to be
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: on TMZ. Everybody going to New Orleans and see what
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: kind of fool they're gonna make out their self. Come on, Lebron,
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: make it back and stay clean. Watch yourself to ain't way,
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: come back and be clean. Come on down now, comell o,
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: make it back like the strong fella that you is.
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: I'll tell you one thing. They need to seeing Charles
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: Oakley down that this weekend and so we can clean
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: out from Cleveland. And what I'm talking about is gonna
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: be some problems some of them young players. It's gonna
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: get caught up in the hype. Some of them young
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: boys gonna get out now and gonna be all over
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: the place this weekend. My only wish is that I
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: was young enough to go my damn self col OUs
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: where to God. I want to be down there, if
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: I could just be a fly on the wall or
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: wall on the fly. They don't make no difference. What
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: do you think about Draymond Green down their panther, Raymond
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: Raymond Green, The photos are already down now, Steve Hardy
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: Morning Show. I try we back. Let's get to these
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: back to back jails. Cat, let's go right to treat
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: me right, I try. When we come back. We got
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: time for just one more thing. Uh, President Trump will
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: not be filling out the bracket. We'll tell you about
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: it after the break. I don't know what you talked
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: to him. Back down. You're gonna get enough of this him.
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: You're listening, Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up next. We
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: got time for just one more thing. President Trump will
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: not be filling out the bracket this year. All right,
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: here we go, just one more thing. It looks like
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: President Donald Trump isn't just a complete opposite of former
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: President Obama at the polls. He's a complete opposite at
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: the polls to march madness pools. That is. Okay, let's
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: distinguish which pools we're talking about. Unlike President Obama has
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: the past eight years, President Trump will not be picking
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: brackets for the two thousand seventeen men's and women's tournaments.
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: Remember how President Obama used to do that every year
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: and it would be fun and everybody would get into it. Well,
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: not this president. The White House notified ESPN yesterday that
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: the President will pass on making picks this year, saying
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: in a statement, we expressed our interest to the White
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: House and continuing the presidential bracket, they have respectfully declined.
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: Of course, being the shrewd businessman that he is, Trump
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: kept the lines of communication open, having White House spokesman
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: Hope Hicks also mentioned we look forward to working with
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: ESPN on another opportunity in the near future. Still, it
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: has practically become a tradition since former President Obama, who
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: was an avid basketball fan, agreed to fill them out
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: for the men's and women's tournaments and discuss his picks
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: on Sports Center. What's wrong, Steve, Don't nobody kill that
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: he doesn't want to do it? You mean, well, it
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: made the news. I mean it was one of the
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: top stories yesterdayball and he was fit and he could play.
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: And don't Trump play golf? Now? You pudin get to
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: pick in basketball? President Obama play when y'all be together?
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: Do he be telling my putin stack? Reached back. I'm sorry.
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: It's funny, though, Steve. If you're a comedian, these are jokes,
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: you're supposed to laugh. What is wrong with you? Next
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: time y'all golf? And asked him who gonna work there?
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: While he tell me up, surely we have stuff last
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: set up? I can do it? He do me all
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: the same because everybody you know what's coming back done.
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: But the real question is when is we going to Russia?
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: I know we gotta be going. No, we prided in
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: the Russian I know that for everybody, call show. Filling
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: up a lot of this break. You know what I'm thinking?
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: On a big Russian hat. Nice, I've seen him on TV.
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: I won't meet one. You can get a big Russian head.
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: You're gonna need a bottle of vodka to you're filling
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: up this Yeah, I'll tell you one thing. You're filling
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: up this last break way better. You're filling up will
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: at Hall? He is personal. Stop you quit you stop that.
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: Oh no, But what you don't know is when the
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: hall is getting full, getting full? Yes and stuff? You
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: said yesterday we sold out christ La Halle, so you
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: can quit coming. Yeah, that's when we did last year?
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: What years did I say that? Time? I did that?
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: We try to act like you know we couldn't do
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: christ Yes you did? I hold on, why didn't we
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: talking about two times fifteen? How many seats was in
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: christ La Hall? However many it was? How many seats
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: was in Christla Hall? Whatever the else? Just give me Monica,
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: look at though for me, right quick, just just just
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: google it right so I can give you all the
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: credit you need. Come on, now, let's go. Okay, this
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: is gonna be nice. What is the evilness? It ain't
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: no even this, I'm fit to give you all the
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: credit you want. What are you talking about? This man?
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: He's gonna five? How we talked to hid right? Then
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: we know that we know he didn't sold. We ain't
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: got time to be doing this. Man in Christ let
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: me find you. You just got to know. Okay, here
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: we go, all right, christ lay almost twenty five hunt
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: christ Ling Hall is right? The pauls yes, so in
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: two thousand seventeen Wollen Hall ain't but two thousand and
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: that ain't so out Yet we go, Lord Jesus, what
- 1:38:53Speaker 1: is happening to your damn career? Is it going the
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: other ways? Little five hundred thieves? Bothered you? I didn't
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: even bring it up, tom I knew how many seas would.
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: I knew he was gonna do your stupid Steve. Why
