- 2:18Speaker 1: something that's uh that rings for everybody here it is.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Did you know? Did you know? And I'm talking to everybody,
- 2:30Speaker 1: did you know that there is a life for you
- 2:35Speaker 1: that's greater than you could have ever dreamed of? Did
- 2:41Speaker 1: you know that there is a life for you better
- 2:45Speaker 1: than you could have ever imagined. There's a life for
- 2:49Speaker 1: you better than the one you thought you could have.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Did you know that there's a life for you better
- 2:56Speaker 1: than the one you've ever felt before? Did you know
- 3:02Speaker 1: that that was a life for you greater than the
- 3:06Speaker 1: one you saw for yourself. Did you know that there
- 3:13Speaker 1: is a life for you greater than you had expected?
- 3:20Speaker 1: And did you know that there was a life for
- 3:22Speaker 1: you much bigger than the one you wanted? At Lastly,
- 3:30Speaker 1: did you know that what I just said it is true?
- 3:35Speaker 1: Did you know that? Did you know that the things
- 3:39Speaker 1: I just said are available to you? Yeah? You? It's
- 3:46Speaker 1: not just intended for other people. It's not just intended
- 3:52Speaker 1: for the rich. It's not intended for those with college degree.
- 4:01Speaker 1: It's not just intended for those who receive awards. It's
- 4:08Speaker 1: for everybody. Yeah, you two, It's for you who didn't
- 4:17Speaker 1: get your high school diploma. It's for you who are incarcerated.
- 4:25Speaker 1: It's for you who have two strikes. It's for you
- 4:32Speaker 1: who've been sentenced to life. It's for you who've gotten
- 4:38Speaker 1: out and have a felony record and can't seem to
- 4:40Speaker 1: get it together. It's for you who have an illness.
- 4:47Speaker 1: It's for you who the doctors have given up on.
- 4:51Speaker 1: It's for you, this life I'm talking about, it's for you.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Did you know that there's a life for you better
- 5:04Speaker 1: than the one you dreamed about? Better? Than the one
- 5:07Speaker 1: you've imagined, a life better than the one you thought of.
- 5:12Speaker 1: That there's a life for you better than the one
- 5:14Speaker 1: you've ever felt before. There's a life for you better
- 5:18Speaker 1: than the one you saw for yourself. There's a better
- 5:21Speaker 1: life for you than the one you expected and even
- 5:24Speaker 1: the one you wanted. Did you know that this is
- 5:28Speaker 1: true for you? See? Here's let me give you the
- 5:33Speaker 1: secret to this thing. Now you have to believe that
- 5:39Speaker 1: it is for you. Now, you got to fight through
- 5:42Speaker 1: the doubts. You got to fight through the wheel of satan,
- 5:45Speaker 1: because the devil is busy. Man. The devil wants you
- 5:48Speaker 1: to think that is hopeless. The devil wants you to
- 5:51Speaker 1: think that this is it. The devil wants you to
- 5:53Speaker 1: think there ain't no more to it. The devil wants
- 5:56Speaker 1: you to think that this applies to other people. But you, Yeah,
- 5:59Speaker 1: you be dealt the worst hand of them all, which
- 6:02Speaker 1: you ate. But that's what the devil wants you to think.
- 6:04Speaker 1: So you gotta fight through. Now, you gotta fight through
- 6:07Speaker 1: to get to what I just said is available for you.
- 6:10Speaker 1: But what else you got to do? You ain't doing
- 6:13Speaker 1: nothing else? Might as well fight? Why just wake up
- 6:16Speaker 1: and just let it be. Why would you wake up
- 6:18Speaker 1: every day and just exist when there's a chance for
- 6:21Speaker 1: you to actually live. See the reason I don't mind
- 6:25Speaker 1: smiling so much now is because I'm no longer existing.
- 6:28Speaker 1: I'm living now. See. See, that's what you want to
- 6:32Speaker 1: get to. You don't want to exist to wake up,
- 6:35Speaker 1: paycheck to paycheck, date today, not knowing, not understanding, not having,
- 6:40Speaker 1: can't can't get this, can't get that, can't go here,
- 6:44Speaker 1: can't go there, Gotta wait, gotta wait, gota wait, gota
- 6:47Speaker 1: wait till it seems like you never get nowhere. You
- 6:50Speaker 1: can get out of that rut of life, feeling like
- 6:52Speaker 1: when you wake up in the morning, that your life
- 6:54Speaker 1: is whole hum that you're just in a rut. I
- 6:57Speaker 1: drive the same way to work. I do the same
- 7:00Speaker 1: thing on my job. When I get off, I drive
- 7:02Speaker 1: all the way back home. I sit there, I read
- 7:05Speaker 1: the newspaper, I water the lawn. I'm so sick of
- 7:08Speaker 1: my life. It ain't this, ain't what I wanted. Man
- 7:11Speaker 1: and start, wake up, start over, do the same thing.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Then the weekend gets in. You got to mow the lawn,
- 7:17Speaker 1: and then you try to fix something in the garage,
- 7:20Speaker 1: and you feel like your life is in the rut
- 7:22Speaker 1: I'm talking about. If this feels like a rut to
- 7:24Speaker 1: you now, if it's what you've always wanted, I'm cool
- 7:26Speaker 1: with that. But I'm talking to people who want it more,
- 7:30Speaker 1: who would love their life to be more, who would
- 7:32Speaker 1: love their life to different, to be different. I'm not
- 7:35Speaker 1: criticizing you if I just described your life. I'm just
- 7:39Speaker 1: only talking to the ones who would dare to believe
- 7:43Speaker 1: that there's more to it than this. I'm only talking
- 7:46Speaker 1: to the ones who would dad dad to accept the challenge,
- 7:50Speaker 1: to fight through and see what God got for you
- 7:54Speaker 1: instead of listening to Satan all the time. Devil is busy, man,
- 7:57Speaker 1: Please understand, he's so busy, so busy trying to trick you,
- 8:01Speaker 1: get you into the groove. You know they're doing all
- 8:04Speaker 1: kinds of stuff now man, you know atheists and already
- 8:08Speaker 1: got prayer. Taking out of schools. Excuse me, look at
- 8:10Speaker 1: our skills schools, not as a push by the atheist
- 8:13Speaker 1: to get the words in God we trust, taking off
- 8:16Speaker 1: our money. Here's a deal. If you don't believe in God,
- 8:18Speaker 1: and you don't want trust in God, just going about
- 8:20Speaker 1: your business. But what you can't do is spill off
- 8:22Speaker 1: all into what I'm talking about. That's the problem I
- 8:25Speaker 1: have with all of them. If you're gonna do you,
- 8:27Speaker 1: didn't do you, but don't spill off into what I
- 8:30Speaker 1: got now. See, If you don't believe what I'm saying,
- 8:32Speaker 1: then I ain't talking to you. Let's just be clear
- 8:35Speaker 1: about the relationship with Steve Harvey and his crew. I'm
- 8:38Speaker 1: only talking to the people that believe that are looking
- 8:41Speaker 1: for something else, that wants something more, that wants something better,
- 8:46Speaker 1: that's gotta be out there searching and hoping and trying
- 8:49Speaker 1: to do more. That's all I'm talking to now. If
- 8:53Speaker 1: you don't believe what I'm saying, it's true, didn't go
- 8:55Speaker 1: ahead and try it your way? Go see write me,
- 8:57Speaker 1: email me, let me know how it's going for you.
- 9:00Speaker 1: But I'm telling you of a way that's tried and true.
- 9:03Speaker 1: If you go to God, if you go to your creator,
- 9:06Speaker 1: your makeup, if you go to him and you go
- 9:10Speaker 1: to him for real and tell him, hey, you know what,
- 9:14Speaker 1: I want you to go ahead and take over from here.
- 9:17Speaker 1: I'm done. I didn't done all I know how to
- 9:19Speaker 1: do out and tried everything I know how to try.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I'm sick. Of me right now. Hey, look here, you
- 9:25Speaker 1: created me what you want me to do, and here
- 9:27Speaker 1: a cool thing about it. When I made that decision, y'all. See,
- 9:30Speaker 1: I was so afraid for years that I was gonna
- 9:33Speaker 1: miss out on something if I did that, I couldn't
- 9:35Speaker 1: do this no more. But the stuff I needed to
- 9:37Speaker 1: stop doing, I really need to stop. The things I
- 9:39Speaker 1: was afraid of not being able to do anymore, were
- 9:42Speaker 1: the very same things I really didn't need to be
- 9:44Speaker 1: doing no more in the first place. On the real man,
- 9:47Speaker 1: on the real all that temporary fun I was having
- 9:52Speaker 1: all them temporary outlets. I was using all them temporary
- 9:55Speaker 1: things trying to fulfill myself I was doing. I was
- 9:58Speaker 1: just doing a bunch of temporary mess man. I said,
- 10:01Speaker 1: hold up, man, I want something permanent. Man, I want
- 10:04Speaker 1: a permanent feeling in my heart that it's gonna be
- 10:07Speaker 1: all right. So he replaced all that fun with joy.
- 10:10Speaker 1: But it's only because I went and I faced him.
- 10:14Speaker 1: He didn't take me and stop me from being me.
- 10:17Speaker 1: He just made a better version of me. See, God,
- 10:21Speaker 1: don't take he because all the stuff he sent you through,
- 10:24Speaker 1: he needed you to go through all him. He needed
- 10:26Speaker 1: you to have him experience or what it felt like
- 10:27Speaker 1: to be locked up. He needed you to have experience
- 10:30Speaker 1: and know what it was to lose everything. He needed
- 10:32Speaker 1: you to have experience to make you tough. You're just
- 10:36Speaker 1: gonna be a tough one. I'm a tough soldier in
- 10:39Speaker 1: his army. That's all I just say. One of the
- 10:41Speaker 1: weak ones. I protect the weak ones. God didn't take
- 10:47Speaker 1: a lot of stuff from except the stuff I needed.
- 10:50Speaker 1: But the stuff he made me to be. He allowed
- 10:52Speaker 1: me to keep it, and he just made a better me.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Do that, y'all, and you can have what you want.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You're show ladies and gentlemen. We are here today, gathered
- 11:05Speaker 1: for the radio show. This is not a game. This
- 11:09Speaker 1: is a contest. Anybody can win it. You can get
- 11:13Speaker 1: your own blue ribbon. Step right up, one, all for one,
- 11:17Speaker 1: All ye who come? You are blue ribbon candidates. Welcome
- 11:22Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Contest. What do you want a
- 11:26Speaker 1: blue ribbon in today? That's the question, Shirley, what do
- 11:30Speaker 1: you think you could qualify to get a blue ribbon
- 11:32Speaker 1: in just the way I do the show, the way
- 11:35Speaker 1: I run the show? Carla, what do you think you
- 11:37Speaker 1: could get a blue ribbon in the way I direct
- 11:40Speaker 1: a show. Now, let's begin the ignorance. Junior, what do
- 11:46Speaker 1: you think you could get a blue ribbon? I could
- 11:48Speaker 1: get a blue ribbon in animal sounds? See that the jay.
- 12:02Speaker 1: What do you think you could get a blue ribbon
- 12:04Speaker 1: in ignorance from nowhere when you don't think it's coming straight? Ignorance,
- 12:09Speaker 1: ignorance out of nowhere? Nephew, Tommy, share with us what
- 12:15Speaker 1: you could get a blue ribbon in that you have
- 12:19Speaker 1: probably already had thousand the seriousness of stupidity. I bring
- 12:25Speaker 1: it to a whole another level. I just have to
- 12:28Speaker 1: say one thing, seriously, Junior, I take offense with what
- 12:33Speaker 1: you did because on the show I do animal noises.
- 12:37Speaker 1: I do animals, animal animal You can't change your answer.
- 12:45Speaker 1: You you don't do, you don't do. But one, he
- 12:48Speaker 1: doesn't do animal noises. I ain't animal noises on the show. No, okay,
- 12:54Speaker 1: stop stop, stop, stop stop. Shirley do a kangaroo? Whatever
- 13:03Speaker 1: did this? Candidate? Okay, Shirley do a gorilla? Okay, okay, okay, okay,
- 13:16Speaker 1: Shirley not do a chimpanzee. She's good at that, man,
- 13:26Speaker 1: She's really good. Thank you. That was Caesar? Who was
- 13:30Speaker 1: that one? Who was that Sheley? Yeah, that was Shirley Man,
- 13:33Speaker 1: that was that was her best one. Now watched her kills.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Do a dog, Shirley. Okay, Shirley, Shirley, do a sheep? Okay, Shirley, Shirley, Sheley.
- 14:00Speaker 1: You appekcans just had a spell. It don't sound like
- 14:10Speaker 1: I don't know like I didn't I I don't know
- 14:21Speaker 1: what a kangaroo sounds like. We'll be back. Most Shirley
- 14:29Speaker 1: sounds all morning to talented and we didn't even know
- 14:36Speaker 1: she did animal sound. Come back. You're listening to show.
- 14:47Speaker 1: All right, it is time for something funny. And seventy
- 14:51Speaker 1: percent of workers say the thing they love most about
- 14:54Speaker 1: the holiday time in the office is time up, followed
- 14:58Speaker 1: by getting a bonu. Love those also in the survey,
- 15:02Speaker 1: workers say right there, let's just address this one at
- 15:05Speaker 1: a time, because I see that there's some smiling going
- 15:09Speaker 1: on amongst you. Yeah. See two things you can't do.
- 15:14Speaker 1: What is get time off, get your same check, get
- 15:20Speaker 1: some time off, and get a damn bonus too. And
- 15:24Speaker 1: you need to make up your mind what you want
- 15:28Speaker 1: the bonus. We need a bonus type effort. Okay, okay, check.
- 15:34Speaker 1: So when we give you that then the bonus is
- 15:36Speaker 1: coming when you give me what? Yeah? When do we
- 15:42Speaker 1: know we're working at bonus speeds? Well, first of all,
- 15:46Speaker 1: let's just get this straight and understood it. Okay, everybody
- 15:51Speaker 1: in here get paid? Yeah yeah, hostility there, thank you?
- 15:59Speaker 1: That is yeah, we don't need that. They never talk
- 16:02Speaker 1: to you. What more do you want outside, Joe chick? Okay?
- 16:08Speaker 1: Can I ask a question, Shoka? The question is this
- 16:12Speaker 1: we are all working right right now, right now, we'll
- 16:15Speaker 1: all work, yes, so we put in a good job.
- 16:17Speaker 1: What level do we have to crank this up to
- 16:21Speaker 1: to get bonus? That's why you have to crank it
- 16:23Speaker 1: up to? CEO? What a minute? You are already to
- 16:30Speaker 1: see that position is taken. You got one? Yeah? Can
- 16:35Speaker 1: we Well, do you understand what I'm saying? Get your bonus? One?
- 16:43Speaker 1: Let me read on I go in the survey workers
- 16:47Speaker 1: say they look forward to the office holiday party. Yeah
- 16:53Speaker 1: uh uh, although although they would give that up to
- 16:57Speaker 1: get a bonus or more vacation. Back to that bonus. Yea,
- 17:05Speaker 1: we stopped Christmas part why because of an incident at
- 17:12Speaker 1: the party. I loud to see old Old or the
- 17:16Speaker 1: company to stand up and give us speech. He still
- 17:20Speaker 1: have made the statement that when he prayed, he prayed
- 17:23Speaker 1: to himself. Why that stopped all Christmas part the room
- 17:29Speaker 1: got quiet. And this, folks, is not a joke. This
- 17:34Speaker 1: actually happens. He prayed a hoo to myself. That's why.
- 17:43Speaker 1: That's why you shut that down. I'm scared because you
- 17:47Speaker 1: didn't replace it with anything. Though we didn't get our
- 17:50Speaker 1: bonus or or more vacation times. He actually cost you
- 18:00Speaker 1: all your extra activities. Now did he did he give
- 18:03Speaker 1: us a bonus before? Did you give us one? I
- 18:06Speaker 1: can't remember? Okay Na, See, some jobs, some jobs give
- 18:12Speaker 1: you like turkeys, and we give out. We give all
- 18:18Speaker 1: our turkeys away at Thanksgiving to the less fortunate, right right,
- 18:22Speaker 1: which is a great which that makes us less fortunate.
- 18:29Speaker 1: The CEO, Well, the reason you don't qualify for a
- 18:33Speaker 1: bonus is because all of you have multiple supplemental income.
- 18:39Speaker 1: You're causing me. You're not supposed to look at that.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Oh what what do you think? He don't know that.
- 18:46Speaker 1: I ain't sped. I see one of y'all. I'm supposed
- 18:53Speaker 1: to look at it. How do you go now your concern?
- 19:03Speaker 1: Yes it is? Yes? See then everywhere I go, I
- 19:07Speaker 1: see one of y'all. Every dog go, I ain't got
- 19:10Speaker 1: a gig named the gig. I got n't see one
- 19:13Speaker 1: of y'all. I can't say nothing now sue suit line
- 19:19Speaker 1: about the owner one. I ain't got to go down now.
- 19:24Speaker 1: And that's another thing you won't help with. You won't
- 19:27Speaker 1: help with the writing. None of these books with your
- 19:29Speaker 1: wonta damn bone. That's how you get a bonus. Get
- 19:33Speaker 1: involved with everything. I don't see your help and drive
- 19:37Speaker 1: me around. None of y'all go get me nothing to eat,
- 19:41Speaker 1: with the exception of Monica, Monica the only one try
- 19:44Speaker 1: to help me out at the station. Well, you don't
- 19:46Speaker 1: want you don't want men getting your food, so you don't,
- 19:52Speaker 1: and I would be happy to cook for you, Okay,
- 19:55Speaker 1: I would. We don't want to kill to see ya.
- 20:00Speaker 1: So this is where we want to ask everyone does
- 20:03Speaker 1: our office does the office? Does the CEO? And everyone?
- 20:06Speaker 1: Do you think they do a good job of bringing
- 20:08Speaker 1: holiday cheer to our workplace? No? Not this office. I'm sorry.
- 20:16Speaker 1: This is why I jump off. I'm gonna say yeah
- 20:20Speaker 1: because I maybe doing way to ceo. Go WHI y'are
- 20:22Speaker 1: not about to do one of my job. This survey yeah,
- 20:28Speaker 1: I'll tell you that much. Yeah, it's great cheering here. Okay,
- 20:31Speaker 1: well what kind of holiday? What kind of holiday related
- 20:33Speaker 1: activities do we have? We don't have the party anymore.
- 20:36Speaker 1: What else? What even though we have to have a
- 20:42Speaker 1: Christmas tree up, we have age which has been very healthful.
- 20:48Speaker 1: What is that CEO? That's holiday talk, just a conversation talk.
- 20:56Speaker 1: We talked lightning everybody off. We'd be smiling up. Yeah, look,
- 21:05Speaker 1: sure that's your bonus. I need a tree with some
- 21:11Speaker 1: ornaments on it. At this point, let me should be
- 21:16Speaker 1: saying you're welcome. I think, yeah, he should be saying
- 21:20Speaker 1: you're welcome for the holiday talk. So Tommy, take some
- 21:25Speaker 1: pictures from me this year, because I never get to
- 21:28Speaker 1: see these pictures. Take some pictures from me this year,
- 21:33Speaker 1: you know, under the tree. Some shots to moths. Phone
- 21:40Speaker 1: from under the tree. You're listening to Steve Morning Show.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Next it is the nephew with today's prank phone. Call
- 21:49Speaker 1: what you got now? Call them? Yes, we don't need
- 21:53Speaker 1: your mama dressing. Whoa my god, we tell me no, mama.
- 22:07Speaker 1: You know we don't need it. Benjy, we don't need
- 22:10Speaker 1: your mama started a fight right there. Yes, I actually
- 22:16Speaker 1: want to run it. All right, come on, hello, Hello?
- 22:21Speaker 1: Who is this? Miss Glendon? Who is this this Benjy?
- 22:24Speaker 1: I'm college? Is missus Purvis there? Um? You know she's
- 22:28Speaker 1: saying here right now, but this is our daughter? Um?
- 22:31Speaker 1: Is there a problem? Oh? No, this this this Benjy.
- 22:34Speaker 1: This Mama, Mama, Lorid's nephew. Who is this again? This
- 22:38Speaker 1: is Glendam Mama Lod, Mama lords jo Ain't it? Ain't
- 22:43Speaker 1: it correct? Mama Lord's and Miss Perviot's sister. Okay, I'm Benjy.
- 22:48Speaker 1: I'm I'm her nephew from the other side of the family.
- 22:51Speaker 1: You say your name? Whatno Glenda? Okay, we'll tell y'all
- 22:54Speaker 1: supposed to get in and we used to be there
- 22:56Speaker 1: by the afternoon. Okay, Uh, is missus Purvis? This is
- 23:00Speaker 1: your mama making the dresses. Yeah, she's making enough for
- 23:04Speaker 1: about forty five people. We actually, um, this was discussing
- 23:07Speaker 1: about a month ago, right, y'all on the y'all they
- 23:11Speaker 1: had the conference call, the conference because family had the
- 23:14Speaker 1: conference call, right, yes, sir, Okay, Nah, listen what the
- 23:19Speaker 1: reason why they got me to call? They wanted me
- 23:21Speaker 1: to go in and call and I was trying to
- 23:23Speaker 1: get me this pervious. She's not there. You know, she's
- 23:26Speaker 1: not here. What's wrong? Uh? Okay, they're not gonna They're
- 23:30Speaker 1: not gonna need her to do them, to do the dressing.
- 23:33Speaker 1: And why wouldn't they need a disdresss she been making it,
- 23:35Speaker 1: but ken years we did, We just discussed it. So
- 23:38Speaker 1: what do you mean they say that they got somebody
- 23:40Speaker 1: down here that's gonna do the dresses, especially since y'all traveling.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Y'all ain't got to bring it, you know, and be
- 23:45Speaker 1: traveling with it. But they got somebody gonna do the dressing. Okay, Well,
- 23:49Speaker 1: first of all, who are you? You're you're BENI? What
- 23:52Speaker 1: is your name? That was not my name, Benjamin? But
- 23:54Speaker 1: they called me Benji. But but but like I say, uh,
- 23:58Speaker 1: I'm on the other side of I ain't on y'all side. Okay. Well,
- 24:02Speaker 1: I'm still trying to figure out why are you calling me?
- 24:05Speaker 1: Because she's been making the dressing for ten years, like
- 24:07Speaker 1: I said, and I mean, it's been discussed. So I
- 24:10Speaker 1: don't even know why why you're calling me. I don't
- 24:12Speaker 1: even know you. Okay. Well, what I'm trying to explain
- 24:15Speaker 1: to you this right here, is that they got something, y'all.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Y'all ain't got to worry with bringing the dressing. They
- 24:20Speaker 1: got somebody gonna bring. They got somebody down here that's
- 24:23Speaker 1: gonna cook it so and otherwhere with you know, if
- 24:26Speaker 1: you can tell Miss Pravice she ain't got to worry
- 24:28Speaker 1: about the dressing this year. I'm say you want me
- 24:30Speaker 1: to tell my mama, after she'd been making dressing for
- 24:32Speaker 1: ten years that y'all said, y'all ain't worried about she
- 24:36Speaker 1: shouldn't have to make this year because we're driving there.
- 24:38Speaker 1: We drive every year, So I'm not gonna do that
- 24:41Speaker 1: to her. So, I mean, I don't I don't even
- 24:43Speaker 1: know who you are to be calling me anyway. Why
- 24:45Speaker 1: isn't somebody calling me that I don't know regarding it? Okay, okay,
- 24:49Speaker 1: you're good the right, I am blended. All right, listen,
- 24:52Speaker 1: let me say this, because I don't mind saying what
- 24:55Speaker 1: everybody thinking, but most people don't want to say. Let
- 24:58Speaker 1: me just say this right here. Really, what's going on
- 25:01Speaker 1: is just right here. A lot of people in the family,
- 25:05Speaker 1: you know, don't really don't don't really like Miss Prayer
- 25:09Speaker 1: of his dressing. Dni Benjamin h He's supposed to be
- 25:17Speaker 1: let me sporty something the my mama gonna make it, Christen,
- 25:21Speaker 1: you gonna kiss it, and we ain't bringing that wrong
- 25:24Speaker 1: with us. So you can tell your family that I
- 25:26Speaker 1: said that because you understand me. Now. I mean, for
- 25:30Speaker 1: first of all, you got to understand that I'm bringing
- 25:32Speaker 1: news that that people didn't don't voted on, and it's
- 25:35Speaker 1: what everybody want to do, don't nobody? Well, why didn't
- 25:37Speaker 1: Nick house we had a meeting, she been making it
- 25:41Speaker 1: ten years? Ain't Nobody had been saying nothing and against
- 25:44Speaker 1: what when them up in that house, Nobody did not
- 25:47Speaker 1: be walking up and through that. I'm talking about my
- 25:49Speaker 1: mamma either, And you know I'm gonna eat it. Okay,
- 25:51Speaker 1: we'll see right there. Why why if people don't like
- 25:54Speaker 1: the dress in Glinda, why do you want to make
- 25:56Speaker 1: submit everybody to have it to eat it? If they
- 25:59Speaker 1: don't like it, you don't eat. This is how I know.
- 26:01Speaker 1: I don't know. You want to call me, don't well,
- 26:03Speaker 1: I don't, no, No, Benjamin Benjie, who I would here?
- 26:06Speaker 1: I want my mama Lord's nephew from the other side
- 26:09Speaker 1: of the family exactly, And I don't know yet. Okay,
- 26:12Speaker 1: and it really really to the bad all that I
- 26:15Speaker 1: don't really know you, but I'm but but I'm but
- 26:17Speaker 1: I'm man enough. I'm in another car you and tell
- 26:20Speaker 1: you what we're gonna do. What we ain't gonna do
- 26:22Speaker 1: what I know I ain't I say it wasn't I
- 26:25Speaker 1: repeat it again. She gonna make dressing you. I'm gonna
- 26:29Speaker 1: eat it, and we're gonna round by my name. Okay, okay,
- 26:32Speaker 1: right there, listen, And I know this might be hard.
- 26:35Speaker 1: You don't understand what you grew up with liking everybody
- 26:39Speaker 1: else might not liken say what you want to. I
- 26:42Speaker 1: ain't don't even remember you white, so you ain't it
- 26:46Speaker 1: like it because you aren't done around. But she makes
- 26:48Speaker 1: it dress it now. First of all, when y'all get
- 26:51Speaker 1: down here, it's gonna already be some more dressing here, okay, okay,
- 26:55Speaker 1: And she gonna make country and sense and we're gonna
- 26:56Speaker 1: see down and we go. I'm gonna eat and it's
- 27:00Speaker 1: not even me discussed my friend, and that I said
- 27:03Speaker 1: I can say, because your name's gonna hurt my mama feeling. Okay,
- 27:06Speaker 1: there ain't nobody to try. That's why I'm trying to
- 27:07Speaker 1: tell you. To tell her don't make it nah, so
- 27:10Speaker 1: she won't even bring it down. We don't gonna get anyway. Hey, look,
- 27:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna say this here because every dealer you ain't
- 27:17Speaker 1: really understanding what I'm saying to you. I'm gonna say
- 27:19Speaker 1: it as clear as I can say. If y'all come
- 27:22Speaker 1: down here with that dress, I'll promise you we already
- 27:25Speaker 1: got dressing made. We're throwing that dressing in the trash
- 27:28Speaker 1: so everybody can get the dressing that we made fun
- 27:31Speaker 1: of him. Floy Blake. That's what we're doing. Please let
- 27:35Speaker 1: me spad something in you. I'm gonna be undressing Patrolle
- 27:38Speaker 1: and if I find out you then through my mama
- 27:40Speaker 1: dressing in the trash, it's gonna be something. If we're
- 27:43Speaker 1: gonna set that out, I'm not playing with you. That's
- 27:46Speaker 1: what's so funny to me. I'm gonna call, ain't tell
- 27:49Speaker 1: me we don't hung it compas coming ain't no ball.
- 27:53Speaker 1: I'm not to tell us. I'm telling us to bull.

- 30:07Speaker 1: Uh it's a stretchy pouch. It fits over the belly.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Although these pants are decorated in a festive stuffing pattern,
- 30:14Speaker 1: you may want to get them for the man in
- 30:16Speaker 1: your life. You may want two ladies if he's one
- 30:18Speaker 1: of those guys who likes you know how guys like

- 32:56Speaker 1: them too because he can take them to school for showing.
- 32:59Speaker 1: What is he say? You mean to tell me you
- 33:03Speaker 1: and Jordan in the pay bank? Ruth. Okay, come, we
- 33:10Speaker 1: see we got to stop this foolish now, very old
- 33:13Speaker 1: talented person of fact. No fake news here, miss a trip,
- 33:20Speaker 1: Thanks Steve. Good morning everybody. This is a twerp with
- 33:22Speaker 1: the news. Firefighters in California still struggling to contain three
- 33:26Speaker 1: deadly wildfires burning in both the northern and southern parts
- 33:29Speaker 1: of the state. Rain is predicted for tomorrow, which is
- 33:32Speaker 1: both bad and good. Now, it's good because obviously it'll
- 33:35Speaker 1: help put out the flames. But it's bad news, they say,
- 33:37Speaker 1: because the authorities say that all that water will most
- 33:40Speaker 1: likely cause wet ash and mud to start flowing down
- 33:43Speaker 1: steep inclines in the area's hardest hit by that campfire
- 33:46Speaker 1: in the north, making it even harder to search for
- 33:49Speaker 1: missing people. The campfire in northern Cali has burned some
- 33:52Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty thousand acres. Meanwhile, wet weather is
- 33:55Speaker 1: also predicted for the southern part of the state tomorrow,
- 33:58Speaker 1: where the Woolsey wildfire is destroyed about fifteen hundred homes
- 34:01Speaker 1: in LA and the Ventura County. He's a total death
- 34:03Speaker 1: toll now stands this morning at seventy nine. Two more
- 34:06Speaker 1: bodies were found overnight, and about seven hundred people are
- 34:09Speaker 1: still unaccounted for. It's happened again. This time. Cops in
- 34:12Speaker 1: Chicago say a government opened fire yesterday inside of a
- 34:15Speaker 1: Windy City hospital, killing at least three people. They say
- 34:18Speaker 1: the government also dead, although in early reports is no
- 34:21Speaker 1: mention of whether the shooter was killed or if he
- 34:23Speaker 1: took his own life. The killing still placed in Chicago's
- 34:26Speaker 1: Mercy Hospital, and authorities say that a police officer and
- 34:29Speaker 1: a pharmaceutical assistant were killed along with the doctor. They
- 34:32Speaker 1: say this woman had dated the gunman. Now that the
- 34:36Speaker 1: contentious battle for Georgia Governor's officially over, Republican Governor elect
- 34:40Speaker 1: Brian Kemp has begun letting voters in on who he's
- 34:43Speaker 1: selecting for his transitional team. We're bringing some from the
- 34:46Speaker 1: Secretary of State's office, some from other parts of government,
- 34:49Speaker 1: and some from private sector and other places to make
- 34:52Speaker 1: sure that we fulfill our promises and work hard for
- 34:55Speaker 1: the people of this state. Camp says he's thankful for
- 34:57Speaker 1: President Trump's help. Meanwhile, the woman who ran again Camp Democrats,
- 35:00Speaker 1: Stacy Abrams, has accused him of purposely mishandling the election
- 35:04Speaker 1: using his job as Secretary of State. In fact, Kemp
- 35:07Speaker 1: was being sued for allegedly purging black and brown voters
- 35:10Speaker 1: from the roles just before the election took place, and
- 35:13Speaker 1: Stacy Abrams says she plans to find a lawsuit against
- 35:15Speaker 1: the State of Georgia for mismanagement. The election supervisor Broward County, Florida,
- 35:20Speaker 1: as she promised, has resigned her position. Brenda Snipes sent
- 35:23Speaker 1: her resignation letter in a day after her people submitted
- 35:26Speaker 1: its final recount totals to the state for that highly
- 35:28Speaker 1: contested Florida Senate in governor's races. Miss Snipes, who was
- 35:32Speaker 1: African American, held the election post for at least fifteen years,
- 35:35Speaker 1: but became a target this time around, Republicans, claiming she
- 35:38Speaker 1: was incompetent. A group of Democratic senators telling challenging President
- 35:43Speaker 1: Trump's selection of Matthew Whittaker as acting Attorney General, saying
- 35:47Speaker 1: that Whittaker, who was merely a chief of staff was
- 35:49Speaker 1: selected over a deputy attorney general, which is not in
- 35:52Speaker 1: the order to the pecking order because the attorney generals
- 35:54Speaker 1: are vetted by the Senate and he wasn't federal judge.
- 35:57Speaker 1: In San Francisco's rule, the Trump administration cannot bar people
- 36:00Speaker 1: who went to the US illegally from seeking asylum. And finally,
- 36:03Speaker 1: today is a beautiful day day starting right now. Beautiful morning, exactly,
- 36:09Speaker 1: a beautiful morning. But whatever, this has been a trip
- 36:12Speaker 1: with the news. Now back to the Steve Harding Morning Show.
- 36:15Speaker 1: You're listening Morning show? All right, Jay, stuff that people
- 36:20Speaker 1: will eat hot cold or three days old? The first
- 36:24Speaker 1: day he put it, how to cold three days old? Chicking? Well, okay,
- 36:32Speaker 1: but first a second day day? We can change a bit.

- 51:47Speaker 1: up next Today's Strawberry Letter. You're listening Stave Harvey Morning Show.
- 51:53Speaker 1: Let's go now. I look at your book A little
- 51:55Speaker 1: out out tight here? Do you style? Very little. Ah,
- 52:00Speaker 1: it's oatmeal, thank you oatmeal? All right. Subject, my man
- 52:05Speaker 1: is bugging me, Dear Stephen Shirley. I have a problem.
- 52:10Speaker 1: I met a guy and I consider him a good friend,
- 52:13Speaker 1: and I want to get to know him better. He
- 52:15Speaker 1: has taken me on a few dates and all went
- 52:17Speaker 1: well at first. The problem arose after one of our
- 52:22Speaker 1: recent dates, after a really good date, we decided we'd
- 52:27Speaker 1: pick up some food and go back to his house
- 52:29Speaker 1: to chill and eat our food. Well, when we got
- 52:33Speaker 1: to his house with our food and he turned the
- 52:35Speaker 1: lights on, boom bam boom. Roaches went flying from east
- 52:40Speaker 1: to west. They were so now, they were so bad
- 52:45Speaker 1: they were even crawling on his dog. I told him,
- 52:49Speaker 1: I told him politely that I was not eating my
- 52:52Speaker 1: food there. He sat there, eating his food and looking
- 52:55Speaker 1: at meat like I was crazy. He didn't see that
- 52:58Speaker 1: there was a problem. When he dropped me off at home,
- 53:01Speaker 1: I immediately took my clothes off and as soon as
- 53:04Speaker 1: I walked in. I'm not saying that I'm better than
- 53:07Speaker 1: anyone else. I have dealt with bugs in my home too,
- 53:10Speaker 1: but clearly this was an infestation. This was not normal.
- 53:15Speaker 1: This was the last time I spent time at his house. Now,
- 53:19Speaker 1: he asked me why I won't come over. I don't
- 53:22Speaker 1: even want him over at my place because he may
- 53:25Speaker 1: bring bugs with him and spread them to my house.
- 53:28Speaker 1: When we go out together in public, it makes me
- 53:30Speaker 1: think he's not clean and his car is not clean
- 53:33Speaker 1: because of how he keeps his house. I don't want
- 53:35Speaker 1: to lose a good man, but I just can't deal
- 53:37Speaker 1: with the bugs. What should I do? Please help me?
- 53:40Speaker 1: Oh my god, I couldn't do this. I'm just gonna
- 53:43Speaker 1: tell you right now. I could not, and I don't
- 53:46Speaker 1: know how you can. I mean the fact that he's
- 53:48Speaker 1: not embarrassed about it, and that he brought you over
- 53:51Speaker 1: his house and there. My skin is itching right now
- 53:54Speaker 1: just thinking about it. He brought you over there and
- 53:57Speaker 1: he didn't see anything wrong with it. He was looking
- 53:59Speaker 1: at you like you were crazy. I don't get it,
- 54:03Speaker 1: and eating food there. No, ma'am, no, ma'am, no, ma'am.
- 54:09Speaker 1: It's not a situation where you're better than he is.
- 54:12Speaker 1: Your way cleaner than he is, for sure, and clean
- 54:16Speaker 1: that you know. That's one of the primary principles of
- 54:18Speaker 1: dating someone. They have to be clean for having's sakes.
- 54:22Speaker 1: And yeah, I wouldn't let him over my house because
- 54:24Speaker 1: he might bring bugs over there. I'm sorry, I don't know.
- 54:29Speaker 1: I just couldn't. I couldn't do it. Personally, I couldn't
- 54:32Speaker 1: do it. I don't know how good of a guy
- 54:34Speaker 1: he is. I just don't know for him not to
- 54:36Speaker 1: notice this. I have a problem with this, and I
- 54:39Speaker 1: think you should too, Steve Well, this ladder right here
- 54:44Speaker 1: is a very easy one for me. I've had this
- 54:47Speaker 1: experience before. I dated a woman who lived in a
- 54:50Speaker 1: roach infested house with her mama. I'm from the hood.
- 54:54Speaker 1: I've seen roaches before. We've had him at our house
- 54:57Speaker 1: when I was young. It was just out in infestation.
- 55:02Speaker 1: Tell everybody, you know, everybody, everybody had a roach at
- 55:05Speaker 1: the house. Come on, now, you can cut all this out.
- 55:08Speaker 1: That's what you ain't gonna do is let it become
- 55:10Speaker 1: an infestation. You were scared at the roaches time because
- 55:13Speaker 1: they was the same size as you want to tell
- 55:18Speaker 1: all of that. You over that riding roaches and business
- 55:21Speaker 1: and but but that's I wanted the roach for Christmas
- 55:24Speaker 1: and all this because you thought they were awesome. That's
- 55:28Speaker 1: another story. Man. He wanted a pony, so we got
- 55:32Speaker 1: him a roach in. Now, you didn't want all that out,
- 55:39Speaker 1: didn't you just stay out the damn let She didn't
- 55:43Speaker 1: met this friend of husday. Everything going good, and went
- 55:47Speaker 1: out on several days. Then one e he invited over.
- 55:49Speaker 1: They stopped and picked up some food. They come into
- 55:52Speaker 1: the house and they turned the lights on. Boom bam boom.
- 55:58Speaker 1: See that must be your first time seeing roach, because
- 56:00Speaker 1: that ain't the sound, it's seeing power. I stayed wanting
- 56:07Speaker 1: what's the sound? Because when you turn that night on,
- 56:14Speaker 1: the ass is rolling. Now that threw you off. Roaches
- 56:20Speaker 1: was flying from east to west. They were so bad.
- 56:24Speaker 1: They was crawling on the dog. The dog is tidy.
- 56:28Speaker 1: It was so much tail swishing. Pause. He didn't killed
- 56:31Speaker 1: as many as he couldn't and just resigned to the fact.
- 56:36Speaker 1: Hell they wint y'all. Just just don't bite me, y'all
- 56:42Speaker 1: just crawl on me, but don't but don't bite me.
- 56:46Speaker 1: He's so sick with his tail tongue, Paul, he just
- 56:49Speaker 1: stamping on. He got four feet. He can't stomp him out.
- 56:53Speaker 1: So the dog didn't just mad hell, so he just there.
- 56:59Speaker 1: I told him politely that I was not eating my food.
- 57:02Speaker 1: There to hit the key he said, they eating this food,
- 57:05Speaker 1: looking at me like I'm crazy. Come here, don't see
- 57:06Speaker 1: the problem. It's Jack roaches, it's Jess roaches. Clear your
- 57:14Speaker 1: area out and enjoy your meal. I've been at the
- 57:19Speaker 1: girl's house playing cards, and I could not understand the
- 57:23Speaker 1: number of roaches that was in the hell lights on day.
- 57:27Speaker 1: I ain't none of them running. They actually stay here.
- 57:31Speaker 1: They walk across the table and I'm just knocking stuff
- 57:34Speaker 1: off with my cards. I'm trying to shuffle hard so
- 57:38Speaker 1: the wind can knock them off as I'm dealing cards.
- 57:41Speaker 1: I'm trying to deal them while I can knock one
- 57:44Speaker 1: off as the card come to you. I'm doing everything.
- 57:47Speaker 1: I'm mean here fighting. I'll fine. Was she oh love
- 57:52Speaker 1: for me? Back? Then? Top knoch Now she was fine.
- 57:57Speaker 1: I was dealing with it. So now you said there
- 58:00Speaker 1: he looked at you like you crazy. He didn't see
- 58:02Speaker 1: that was a problem. Then he dropped me off at home.
- 58:06Speaker 1: I immediately took my clothes off as soon as I
- 58:09Speaker 1: walked in. That's some mistake. Too late. You gotta get
- 58:13Speaker 1: them clothes off outside. I listen to me. My friend
- 58:19Speaker 1: used to pick me up over the girls and before
- 58:22Speaker 1: I got in the car. He's ain't. Man, Come on,
- 58:24Speaker 1: now you know what shake down? I can't he I
- 58:32Speaker 1: know she find one love, but you can't head. He wrote,
- 58:34Speaker 1: just up in this car. So I was standing there
- 58:39Speaker 1: with a Maxi coat on, just shaking. I got bail
- 58:43Speaker 1: bottoms on, just shaking, platform shoes on, an Apple hand.
- 58:48Speaker 1: I'm just shaking. You have got to start shaking these
- 58:53Speaker 1: clothes as soon as he dropped you off. Don't go
- 58:56Speaker 1: inside because they're they coming. Roaches is coming. Quits sitting
- 59:04Speaker 1: in his car. They in there, They in the car.
- 59:10Speaker 1: That's they look for other places. They know it's infested.
- 59:14Speaker 1: They roaches don't like living in infested places, like living
- 59:18Speaker 1: in the hoods somewhere else. They gonna take it. We're
- 59:22Speaker 1: gonna have part two Steve's response coming up in You're
- 59:27Speaker 1: Listening show. All right, Steve, come on, let's get to
- 59:32Speaker 1: part two of like You're response to today's Strawberry letter,
- 59:37Speaker 1: subject to my man is bugging me. See key word bugging.
- 59:41Speaker 1: We ain't got to get over this. She dating the
- 59:43Speaker 1: dude has got a roach investation at his house. P
- 59:47Speaker 1: She don't know what to do. These roaches is everywhere.
- 59:51Speaker 1: The roaches are so bad. They're crawling on the door.
- 59:53Speaker 1: The dog then gave, oh, he ain't got no pads
- 59:56Speaker 1: on the bottom of his pause. He's been stoking bro
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: Bottom with his pause as well. He just been up
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: in the house. He'd embarked them. They don't even They
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: not moved by him anybody. The reason when he cut
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: the lights on, they start running everywhere is because that
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: he don't stay there enough. What do you mean you're
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: gonna have to do like this girl family did. They
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: was in there so much that the roach is no
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: longer ran. You're gonna have to You've heard the old
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: saying if you can't beat them, join them. You can't
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: beat the infestation because y'all fight me with the wrong stuff.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Black flag does nothing. I know that for interest station.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: It will kill it only on direct contact. And you
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: gotta wait till the roachs flip over. This sprame on
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: on the side. If you don't do that, Black Flag
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: don't do nothing for the roach. You have to put
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: something in that house that really does roaches wrong? What
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: is that with sign that it gets rid of roaches
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: that hurt the dog? The dog grown out anyway, I
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: can promise you your dog is looking for the quickest
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: out he can. He don't mind. He can go to
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: dog heaven and live a much better life. He has
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: a reward in it for him. Hell, he ain't no cat.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: He noticed it. Take me, Lord, Take me now. You
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: don't think he laying there with him roaches on him going,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: Come on, Lord, take me now. Listen to me. Ex terminator,
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: that's what you're saying. You can get an exterminator. But
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: you if if his house is connected to another home,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: this is where you get rid of roaches. You gotta
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: bring exterminator in there weakly for four months. The driveway
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: on both sides of the house must be destroyed. What
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: that's the connection to the other house. Listen to me
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: after destroy the drive concrete. Yeah, because they're coming from
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: next door. They didn't tunnelm. If you don't destroy that driveway,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: then people stay next door. They got them. We must
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: kill the route. No, I don't know like driveway though, right,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: you have got to destroy the driveway. My father knew this.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: He said he knew gonna he Whilly Williamson had Wow.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: They was coming over because we kept a clean house.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: So my mom couldn't understand why we was having these
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: roaches my daddy say, they're probably coming up under the driveway.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: She said, slick, you got to do something. My daddy
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: went out there and destroy the dry I'm talking abouse.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: He got kind of coming home and my mamma rock
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: damn broke. I'm gonna flow this damn driveway. They had
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: me and my brothers out there with Jackhamilson everything. Jack.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: I'm nine years old with a Jackham. I don't even
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: know what I'm doing. Just lean on it. Got got
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: got got got got got, got got got. It's true.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: This is a true star. My daddy destroyed a damn
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: driveway from the WILLIAMS. Oh Man good Boy said he
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: was just in the jacket man when he put the
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: dirt back, and that he met her furic acid in
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: the dirt. So they get shipped next time. They crazy.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: Then we asked father, the driveway were just two weeks. Yeah,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: my dad had a parking station where so I only
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: car come up missing up the woods. Creative American problem. Yeah,
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: did you stay? No one asks you if you were
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: going back to stand not with this story. If you
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: structured roach and it loves me. I've never heard anything
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: like this before. It was a week for you station
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: wagon on the side of the street. Daddy has keep
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: on the port. Now, my dad's sleeping on the porch
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: when he's so, I don't nobody stealing dawn space. Got
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: toosing it. You don't understand. And my dad's gone. He
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: can't sleep because his precious car is I my dad
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: Williams crossing Williams roach. Seriously, I've never heard this in
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: my life. Crazy daddy. That was my mother complained about.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: My daddy got tired and I'm about he take out
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: the damn He blew up my daddy as they were
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: people rowing up the street. Mister Harvey, what is you
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: doing away from him? I was unsafe. You acid in
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: the new aid in that so when they started turning
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: to the sick because you knew that he didn't like
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: mister Williams, That's what it was. And the dog wanted
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: to die. Oh my god, bloody roach story. Roaches have
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: changed from people's lives. Ya, apparently yours. I have roche story.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: I have never ever you have a You have a
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: mouse story too? That's crazy. He got another roach story.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: That's crazy too. Let me tell you something, man, that's
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: that girl that I was crazy about. My boy Biggie
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: Weed came over that picked me up. Oh yeah, and
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: I had a called big and telling more time to come.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: We have more show. You want to hear the roach
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: story to change my life? That wasn't in that? All right?
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: Coming up, I know you've been waiting for this, all
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: you Greenleaf lovers out there. Coming up in about ten minutes.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: U Merle Dandridge, a ka. Grace Greenleaf from the show
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: green Leaf on Own, will be our special guest. Gigi,
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: get on my nerve. There's a lot of show green Leaf.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: You're listening show all right, ladies and gentlemen, boy, are
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: you in for a treat? Our very special guest this
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: morning is an accomplished actress and singer. She currently starts
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: as Grace Greenleaf on the hit own drama green Leaf.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: And as you know, the Greenleaf family runs a sprawling
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: mega church in Memphis and the church is filled with scandalous,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: scandalous secrets and lies. Jason three, I know right. Season
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: three is full of drama and we are here for it.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: Please let's find out more about Greenleaf. Welcome to the show,
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: our special guest, Miss Merle Dandridge. Oh my goodness, we
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: love you and we love the show. Mary, thank you
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: so much. You're welcome and we feel so lucky. Oh yeah,
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: because it's a great show, great cast, great acting. Yeah,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: it's a fantastic show. Yeah, number one, Everyone from you know, writing, producing, directing,
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: in the whole cast, everybody just comes correct and and
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: it's it's really showing and the fact that it's landing
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: on the audience in the way that it is that
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: he tells us that we're he had heading in the
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: right direction. Yeah, and what we needed seems like at
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: this time. So so Grace's I mean, Merle as I mentioned,
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: you play the role of Grace, the estranged daughter of
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: Bishop James green Leaf, but you're back with the family
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: after being gone many many years. So please, I know
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: it's a lot of drama, it's a lot of stuff
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: to pack in these few minutes, but please bring us
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: up to speed on what's happened so far this season.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Oh right, I know. Well, you know, after the huge
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: circumstances of season two where Grace slayed the proverbial dragon
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: murder him him out, well, you know, we had to
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: do it to the mat for real, and Ed Greg
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: Allen was just so wonderful to work with But after that,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: suddenly she found herself in a position that Okay, so
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: she's back in the church, now she's back in the family.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: What does that look like now that she's grown. Now
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: that she's a grown woman, people aren't don't have the
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: same power over her to silence her. She really had
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: to find her own strength, find and listen again to
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: the original call that God had in her life. And
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: how does she go from a life that was completely
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: out of the ministry to aligning herself back to the
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: original call in her life. So you see, you see
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Grace in a position this season of searching and finding
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: um and and working her way back to that place
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: that she knows she's supposed to be in. And and
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: I think it's it's been really great to see this
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: other side of her, you know, where she's trying to
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: figure it out, because I think we've all been in
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: that place where like, oh, I I know I have
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: big things planned for me. I know that I have
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: I have been um uh what's the word? Just not
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: quite in alignment? And the way that we find that
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: and the way that you look inward and also look
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: vertically and pay attention to what God is trying to
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: tell us, and that's that's the place that Grace is
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: in and it just gets stronger and stronger as a drama,
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: just completely unfold. There's so many skeletons with these greenly
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: sago Yes, yes there is, Yeah, but that's what makes
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: it good. Right. Can I jump in here with Grace
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: and her daughter Sophia. Now she's having issues with her
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: faith and the sadness that she's dealing with. But you're
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: being her mom and the family. What's happening with that?
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: How are you trying to get Sophia back? She's talking
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: to her grandfather, but still she's she's very heartbroken right now. Yeah, exactly.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: And that storyline breaks my heart because I think, uh,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: just knowing so many people who struggle with their faith
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: and are are in a place where they're in pain
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: and and just searching for the answers and the why
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: and and and how to get back to a place
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: of understanding, just understanding their circumstances. I just think Desert
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: does a wonderful job in the heartbreak because it's just
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: touched the vein with the audience, it touch the brain
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: with me. To be in the room with that story
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: was really meaningful. And powerful and really what I've always
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: wanted to do with my work, something that intersects my
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: faith in my craft. I think that that particular storyline
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: really sits in the heart of that right in the
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: seat of it, and it has been as far as
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: Grace is concerned. It's a tough position to be in
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: when Grace has been troubled in her own faith walk
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: and her daughter having watched her do that. So part
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: of Grace coming back to the place that she's supposed
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: to be in alignment with her call requires her to
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: get it together so she can be a better example
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: to her daughter. When Sophia comes to her with those things,
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: what does she says, walk to walk this crazy walk? Yeah?
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: Can I ask the question that everybody really wants to
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: know when Michelle will, will Grace find out who her
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: real daddy is? That's what we want to know that
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: I'm tuning in, Merle I know the season finale is
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: November twenty first, So so can you give us a
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: hint anything? Uh? You know, as far as how it
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: how it's all gonna play out? Show a load of
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: questions on it's I mean, the fate of the church
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: and the feature of the family all hangs in the balance,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: and as as the show has always come back to,
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: it's always Grace's fault. You know what is Grace going
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: to do about it? It was your fault last season,
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: A lot of it really was. I even tweeted that
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: that it was all your fault. Ideas, He's not gonna
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: let these these sleeping sleeping dogs lies. He's gonna wake
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: them up and she's gonna make everybody deal with it.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: And it came back for yeah, yeah, exactly. But now
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: that so everyone in the green Leaf family is in
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: some kind of trouble. Everybody is dealing everybody, Jacob, everybody, everybody, everybody. Yes, yeah,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: I think we really find out what the green Leafs
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: are made of now that the family business stands to
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: be lost to them on completely right. The season finale,
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: as we mentioned, is November twenty. First, please catch all
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: the new episodes of Greenleaf on Wednesdays at ten pm,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: nine Central. It's only on the own network. Merle, thank
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: you so much for joining us today. We love Greenleaf.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: Keep doing what you're doing and we will keep watching
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: and thank you for that support. We it means so
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: much to us. Thank you you're listening. To Steve Show.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: All right, Steve, So we started with the Strawberry letter
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: about this woman and this man and these roaches, and
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: then you went on to tell us this roach story
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: that I've never heard before in my life about roaches.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: So you have another one for us, talking about this
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: girl I was dating that had all these roaches and
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: the infestations. She knows she was fine, and uh, you know,
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: wn no cell phones back then. So my boy Biggie Wig.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: I told Biggie Wig to come and pick me up
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: at a certain amount of time. I said, as a
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: matter of fact, Wig, I'll call you at your house
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: if something changed thirty minutes before one o'clock and let
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: you know if I need a little bit more time
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: or not. So I were in there, we're playing card.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: Roaches is everything. It lights on and anyway, they ain't
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: nobody in on them rushing, But this one ain't stake.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: You're playing cards, and I know it's too many of
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: many here. I didn't got up off the couch to
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: play cards because I just they was on the couch,
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: They was on the carfer table, they walked cross TV screen,
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: They was just everywhere. So I figured least let me
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: set up in a wooden chair with four legs on it,
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: the least amount of exposure. I already got cuffs in
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: these bail bottoms I got. I got the damn never
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: make cool locks out of these. I took them because
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: I got them. Two inch cuffs in these bail bottoms.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: I know they're in here. Yeah, I don't get here.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Were in here in the Yeah, they're looking for a route.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: Some mean, they're just playing cards, these factions everywhere. I'm
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: just flicking them, you know, just sticking them off with
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: the cards and hands comes. And the girl's sisters was
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: real nice. They was hood, but there was some nice girl.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: But laud them. Girls talk trash when they played cars.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: So we're there, we're just a customed each other. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: you know, I've been. I've never been mobies. According to women,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: look at you, little skinny, be what you're gonna do.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: So I'm don there. We just talking trad So I
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: look up at the clock and I said, let me
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: go on in here and call b and tell him
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: I'll be ready about one thirty. Something happened, man, I
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: forgot to call these roaches. It's one am now day
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: in full blast. I don't know what it is about.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: One am. Yeah, but roaches. I don't know if the
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: club they was all out for dinner that night, stroll
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: and they was with their families. You know, we was
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: playing music. So they was out at the club. The
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: club that was going to dinner. I was in the park.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: I don't know what be happening with roaches was everywhere
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: I'm talking about. Listen to me when I tell y'all,
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: there was nowhere you could look and you didn't see
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: a roach. Wow, say so cool. All of a sudden,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: the doughbell rang and her sister jump up and said,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: I got it. We're playing spades, so it's my play.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: So I said, I got to get to this dope
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: because I got to tell his food Biggie, wig big
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: when you come in here listening, they got a roach problem.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: I liked the girl. Don't embarrass him, just act like
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: you're a see. I had a whole screech out a
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: matter of fact, when I called him thirty minutes before,
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: I was gonna tell him, yeah, because here a good brother.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: But when you don't want him though, there wasn't no texting,
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: ain't no cell phone. I just didn't go. So next
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: thing I know she at the dough. So by the
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: time I make my play, all I hear is at
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: the doors. Damn here here what? And then and this
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: all you here he out there in the fall. You
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: ain't just stop. I'm still hot and I'm standing there
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: just looking at it, and and the sisters is mortified.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: I was here and here I'm ting home. God want here.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: I'm only wait CD and y'all don't see man. He plaking,
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: he breaks his everyone else Yeah, yeah, ain't wonder loud.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: Now he calling me. I'm six feet away, but his
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: dog he don't see me. Ain't wonder loud. I'm just
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: sitting here. Man, you don't stop. So he's shaking his coat,
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: lifting his collar. He knocking him off the wall. He
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: didn't pull his head off. Now he got against the
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: brill right and a massive goat. So he pulls his
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: hat off and he just watch wa man, he's all
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: on the wall. Man, these mother blanchers anywhere, Man, I
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: don't see this, steady asking them, girl, Yah, don't see this.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: I'm standing there with my AUMs folded, just uiliated. Broach
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: fell off the ceiling and landed on his heel. He
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: reached up with bad man. The mother blanches different and
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: I'm just standing there looking at him, and hear my
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: off backing the stone. Here. I just went on. Told
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: the girl, I said, I said, hey, excuse me, hey,
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: let me get him a cough And you knew it
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: was the end. That was Yeah. I kissed the girl
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: on the cheek. I tell Big, said, come on, man,
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: let's go. Yeah, hell yeah, man, Man, I don't know
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: how you're sitting up in here. You can see these

- 1:20:14Speaker 1: So we stand. She said, look you good, I said, Big,
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: you had to make all the man. Damn that man.
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: Let's shake off, man, I said, he and flip your

- 1:20:28Speaker 1: So we outside. Damn they're undressed. I just got the vote.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: Vote dog, I can't get nothing. That was wild. The
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: bigwig over the girl's house with the roaches. You're listening show,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Here he is with another classic, murdering
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: the hits. If you might lose a friend on the side.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we were doing blue. Yeah you weren't doing good.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: You had a nice run we did. Yeah. I don't
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: know if you could call him now if he's up.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: But if you know John Legend's personal numbers, I didn't know.
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: I didn't do anything wrong. It's just why are you
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: doing them twice? You already murder the hits. That's what
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: we do. Murder the hits, god murder from Pop Morning Show.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: Check it out. Stop saying, yo, what's up? Man? What's happening? Man?
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: Everything's good, everything's good man, glad open. But yeah, you
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: know I had Lunelle up there, and I'm up there
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: on you know this week, and then on the Halloween
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: night it got flame. I speak, it's gonna be a
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: nice Halloween party. Oh please on your time? But oh man,
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: what you gotta against John Legend? I don't have nothing
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: against John Legend. I'm just not interest music music into

- 1:28:29Speaker 1: is he gonna say? You mean to tell me, you
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: and Jordan the pandangar ruth you're listening to show. We
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: love to hear your inspirational closing remarks, Steve your motivational
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: closing remarks, and for us today, I got one for
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: you today. I um, I think it's important that everybody,
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: everybody really really up your expectations in two eighteen, I
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: mean really really focusing focus on upping your expectations for
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: two thousand eighteen. This year really put a positive twist
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: on your life. You can do that, man, you can.
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: You can up your expectations. You have to say so
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: in your outcome. But you have to adjust the attitude.
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: You've got to think positive. You've got to focus on
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: the positive things that's happening in your life. You have
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: to take inventory constantly of everything that's going right in
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: your life. Stop focusing on the negative. Everybody got something wrong.
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: That's not a person living that ain't got something wrong.
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: So what Yeah you got something wrong. Yeah you're not
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: where you want to be, But guess what you can
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: be on your way. And that's the thing that people
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: lose focus of. Sometimes they get so caught up into
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: where they are now that they lose focus on the
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: where they could be going, where you're headed, where you're
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: at now. Let me explain something to you about right now.
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: Right now is a very fleeting moment because let's say
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: you're talking about something now, do you know in just
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: sixty seconds, is now a part of the past. It
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: doesn't matter where you are, it's where you're going. Don't
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: get stuck in where you are somebody sent me a
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: plaque one time, and I keep it on my desk
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: in Atlanta, and I was going through a real, real,
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: real dog period in my life. And he's a friend
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: of mine, and he knew it. He's an accountant. As
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: a matter of fact. It is Rogers Salted and I'm
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: saying my financial up in Chicago, and he knew I
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: was going through a dog dog period in my life.
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: And he sent me a plaque and I keep it
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: on my desk. And the plaque said, when you going
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: through Hell, just keep going. And that registered with me
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: because why would you be going through hell and stop there?
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: So you're just gonna put it on park in the
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: middle of hell? Or doesn't make sense to keep going
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: because it just ties into what I'm telling you. It
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: doesn't matter where you are, it's where you're going. You've
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: got to get your focus on twenty eighteen to move
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: in the right direction. I'm gonna give you the scripture
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: again in case all of you. It's something I read
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: all the time. It's Epheesians three twenty and I read
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: it every day, you know, I memorize it. But it
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: says God will do exceedingly and abundantly above all that
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: I ask A think, because I honor him, his blessings
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: will chase me down and overtake me. I will be
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: in the right place at the right time. People will
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: go out of their way to be good to me.
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: I am surrounded by God's favor. This is my declaration.
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: If you read this every day and you implement this
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: once again, it's Ephesians three twenty. Now I got the
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: Bible with the four different translations in it, so I
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: can understand what I'm saying. So this is not the
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: King James version I gave you. It's a translation of
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: what it actually means. But memorizing the scripture for how
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: what it means is what you need. You don't got
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: to go word for word. You need to get the
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: meaning of it. Don't trip on that other part right there.
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: But if you incorporate this in your life on a
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: day to day, you be amazed what can happen to you.
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: You all can put your life into the realm of expectation.
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: I expect good things to happen to me. Even when
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: something bad happens to me, I still look for something
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: good to happen to me, and it always does. I
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: don't care what mistake I've made. God has always gotten
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: me through it, and he's done the exact same thing
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: for you. He's always gotten you through it. Just look
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: at your life. All that stuff you thought you wasn't
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: gonna make it through, he got you, man, He pulled
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: you through it somehow, all them days you didn't think
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: you was gonna make it. You remember where you was,
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: and they look at where you at now. Now, if
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: you think that you're in a worst place now than
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: you were in your past, why don't you get back
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: to that expect something good to happen to you. Live
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: a life filled with positive expectations. Don't do not bury
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: yourself by going through hell and then staying there. Some
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: people cannot get out of their misery because they won't
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: quit acknowledging the misery. Look, if the Bible says a
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: man is as he thinking, and all you ever think
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: is old woe is me, then guess what old oh
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: is me? But if you look for the upside, the
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: bright side, if you look for and live a life
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: and expectation that there are some good out there for you,
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: then good comes your way. It's that's the way it is.
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: That's not a theory of mine. That's a promise of God.
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: I ain't up in his spew and nothing. I think
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: I'd have seen this stuff work for me. You know
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: how many public mistakes I've made. Y'all been watching me, y'all, y'all,
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: it's been fans of minds for years. You all have
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: seen the evolution of me. Now, he ain't through with
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: me yet, but you've seen me back when I was this,
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: when I was that, when I made that mistake, when
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: I made this mistake. But you know it. I never
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: allowed the mistakes to bury me or define me. I
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: expected something good to happen. And guess what I've recovered
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: from them all. He's pulled me through them all. Get
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: through the same thing for you, Ephesians three twenty. Start
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: reading it every day, man, and live your life in
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: a positive expectation A hard You better say that. Follow
