- 1:42Speaker 7: Turn.
- 1:43Speaker 3: You probably got to turn the mouth to turn him out.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Turn a wad of the money up.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come on, you think that, Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 8: Good morning everybody you are listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:06Speaker 8: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey ha got
- 2:10Speaker 8: a radio show you know today. I was thinking of
- 2:14Speaker 8: what I would say today, and it just dawned on
- 2:17Speaker 8: me this way, and I just want to share this
- 2:18Speaker 8: with everybody listening. You've got to get some help to
- 2:22Speaker 8: make it through life. I cannot imagine where I would
- 2:26Speaker 8: be if it was not for the help of my God,
- 2:30Speaker 8: if it wasn't for his grace and mercy, if I
- 2:34Speaker 8: did not have the ability to lean on him and
- 2:37Speaker 8: all the times I've had to lean on him, which
- 2:40Speaker 8: has become a daily basis, I have no idea where
- 2:43Speaker 8: I would be, but clearly I know for a matter
- 2:46Speaker 8: of fact, I would not be here today. You have
- 2:49Speaker 8: got to get some help to get through this thing
- 2:52Speaker 8: called life. I am begging you to look into it. Man,
- 2:56Speaker 8: you've got to form a relationship with God. Without a
- 2:59Speaker 8: relationshiphip with God, this thing called life.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Is daunting at times. I don't care who you are.
- 3:05Speaker 8: I know I'm speaking the truth right now, because listen,
- 3:09Speaker 8: no matter who you are, what job title you have,
- 3:13Speaker 8: what aspirations you may have, I don't care what your
- 3:16Speaker 8: educational background is or is not. It does not matter
- 3:21Speaker 8: if you don't get a real relationship going on with God.
- 3:24Speaker 2: I don't see how you can make it.
- 3:25Speaker 8: So many people are faking in fronting out here like
- 3:28Speaker 8: they got it going on, and you don't know, and
- 3:31Speaker 8: you really don't know how many people that you think
- 3:34Speaker 8: in your neighborhood had it going on because you saw
- 3:37Speaker 8: a car pull up in the driveway, or they house
- 3:39Speaker 8: look bigger, or the grass is cutting nicer, and you
- 3:42Speaker 8: only find out that a foreclosure side on they house too. See,
- 3:47Speaker 8: you don't know. The mask that people put on to
- 3:49Speaker 8: parade around in is for appearance sakes. So a lot
- 3:53Speaker 8: of people you looking at that you think got it
- 3:56Speaker 8: going on. Who might be the pattern of success that
- 3:59Speaker 8: you on a trace. You got to be real careful
- 4:01Speaker 8: with that because it may not be as it appears
- 4:04Speaker 8: to be. But one thing is for sure, no matter
- 4:07Speaker 8: what's going on in your life, I know that behind
- 4:11Speaker 8: whatever mask I'm wearing, or I realized, no matter what
- 4:16Speaker 8: the appearances may be, that on the other side of me,
- 4:20Speaker 8: I'm gonna be just fine.
- 4:22Speaker 2: See.
- 4:22Speaker 8: You may be outwardly people hating on you, talking about you,
- 4:27Speaker 8: dragging your name through the mud. Look, man, people can
- 4:30Speaker 8: say stuff about you. Most people talking about you don't
- 4:33Speaker 8: even know you. They just participating in it. You can
- 4:36Speaker 8: have that appearance going on, but behind you, within you,
- 4:40Speaker 8: if you have a relationship with God, it don't matter
- 4:44Speaker 8: because you can be all right. I've seen it get
- 4:47Speaker 8: real stormy on the outside for me, but on the
- 4:49Speaker 8: inside I just had to feel and I was gonna
- 4:52Speaker 8: be all right.
- 4:53Speaker 2: See.
- 4:53Speaker 8: That's what the relationship gives you, man. It gives you
- 4:56Speaker 8: the confidence to know that the things that you're going
- 4:59Speaker 8: through a temporary that is just the space that you
- 5:03Speaker 8: happen to be in. Like I said the other day,
- 5:05Speaker 8: you got to remember something. The road to success is
- 5:09Speaker 8: always under construction. You might as well get ready for that.
- 5:13Speaker 8: If you plan it on changing, getting better, doing something
- 5:17Speaker 8: about your health.
- 5:18Speaker 2: If you decide, hey.
- 5:19Speaker 8: Look, I just would like to live a longer, more
- 5:21Speaker 8: prosperous life, or hey I want to make X amount
- 5:24Speaker 8: of dollars, or hey man, I'm gonna stop staying out
- 5:27Speaker 8: in these streets and I'm gonna come home and treat
- 5:29Speaker 8: my family way they ought to be treated. I don't
- 5:31Speaker 8: care what decision you make. When you strike out on
- 5:34Speaker 8: that road to success, it's under construction, partner. There's barrels
- 5:38Speaker 8: out there, there's wide turns, there's detours.
- 5:42Speaker 2: You know.
- 5:42Speaker 8: It's being out there holding signs saying slow down. Sometimes
- 5:46Speaker 8: they put the stop sign up. You got to wait
- 5:49Speaker 8: and watch people go by you on the other side.
- 5:52Speaker 8: Then before you can take off again. You've all been
- 5:55Speaker 8: on the road with construction on it. It can be
- 5:58Speaker 8: so frustrating. And the whole time you on that road,
- 6:01Speaker 8: I know, when I'm on the road we can under construction.
- 6:04Speaker 8: I'm always thinking of an alternative path. I ain't ever
- 6:09Speaker 8: set in traffic under construction, man, and thought of if
- 6:13Speaker 8: I get off on this exit, where would it take me?
- 6:16Speaker 8: Not knowing, but just man, could I keep moving if
- 6:19Speaker 8: I go that way? That's a dangerous thing sometimes, see,
- 6:22Speaker 8: because oftentimes when we get off the road to success
- 6:26Speaker 8: and we take that other path, we get further and
- 6:29Speaker 8: further off course. Because wasn't no detourls signed for that,
- 6:32Speaker 8: Just a decision I made on my own because I
- 6:34Speaker 8: don't like sitting here sometimes I don't have the patience
- 6:37Speaker 8: I ought to have, so I've taken some what I
- 6:39Speaker 8: thought might be shortcuts. But I got to tell you something,
- 6:42Speaker 8: ain't no shortcuts on the road to success. Even the
- 6:45Speaker 8: detour signs wind up taking you a little bit out
- 6:48Speaker 8: your way and look back around. I remember one time
- 6:51Speaker 8: I was coming from Las Vegas and that was some
- 6:54Speaker 8: type of chemical spill in the truck and you could
- 6:59Speaker 8: all most see the smoke up ahead.
- 7:02Speaker 2: It very faint. So they detoreed us through the desert
- 7:06Speaker 2: and we had.
- 7:07Speaker 8: To go all the way around, and I drove, man
- 7:09Speaker 8: like an hour and a half out of the way.
- 7:12Speaker 8: And when they entered us back on the freeway where
- 7:15Speaker 8: we were to go back to La as soon as
- 7:17Speaker 8: I got it that exit to get back on the freeway,
- 7:20Speaker 8: I looked right there and there the accident was. Now
- 7:24Speaker 8: it was an hour and a half hour forty five
- 7:27Speaker 8: all the way around in that desert to get back
- 7:30Speaker 8: to almost the same place. But it was the best
- 7:34Speaker 8: way to go because see, that was the route to take.
- 7:38Speaker 8: And that's what you got to understand about trying to
- 7:40Speaker 8: make the right decision to be successful, that the road
- 7:43Speaker 8: to success is always under construction. You're gonna have to
- 7:47Speaker 8: go round a little bit. So quis stop being impatient
- 7:50Speaker 8: with I don't want to go around. I'm gonna go
- 7:51Speaker 8: this way, you go that way if you want to
- 7:53Speaker 8: just follow the detour science.
- 7:55Speaker 2: See, because somebody that came up this road before.
- 7:58Speaker 8: You have somebody and travel the road already, and they
- 8:02Speaker 8: took the way around, and yeah, it seemed like it's
- 8:04Speaker 8: a longer way, and you want to make that other decision.
- 8:07Speaker 8: But stay on the road to success. It's under construction, man,
- 8:11Speaker 8: That's just the way it goes. Don't lose your patience
- 8:14Speaker 8: and try to create a shortcut for yourself. I'm gonna
- 8:17Speaker 8: go away. Ain't nobody ever gone way? Hold up on you,
- 8:20Speaker 8: you really think you're gonna do that? Listen, there's oftentimes
- 8:23Speaker 8: a lot of rewards when you go the least travel path,
- 8:27Speaker 8: But the road to success is the least travel path.
- 8:30Speaker 8: That's what you keep getting mixed up. You keep thinking
- 8:33Speaker 8: if you go another way, No, No, stay on the
- 8:35Speaker 8: road to success. That is the least travel path. It's
- 8:39Speaker 8: under construction. You can go out there with your machete
- 8:42Speaker 8: if you want to talking about cutting new trails. You
- 8:45Speaker 8: think the road to success is under construction, Take the
- 8:49Speaker 8: other route and get that machete out and see how
- 8:52Speaker 8: long you be out there trying to cut a path. Sometimes, man,
- 8:56Speaker 8: you just got to stay patient. The road to success
- 8:59Speaker 8: has been traveled before by millions of people in front
- 9:02Speaker 8: of you, everybody that has some setbacks in life. But
- 9:05Speaker 8: don't get off the road to success just because you
- 9:07Speaker 8: having some setbacks, just because you see some orange barrels up,
- 9:11Speaker 8: just because there's some men out.
- 9:12Speaker 2: There with vest on. What they got to do with you? Everybody,
- 9:16Speaker 2: everybody that's trying to be successful, is on that road.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Your relationship with God helps you guide yourself around the barrels.
- 9:26Speaker 2: It helps you have the patience to go around that way.
- 9:30Speaker 2: He gonna get you back where you gotta be. But
- 9:32Speaker 2: you got to go out there so you can learn
- 9:34Speaker 2: some things.
- 9:35Speaker 8: See, you need God to make it in life, because
- 9:39Speaker 8: the road to success is always under construction. He calms
- 9:43Speaker 8: you down. When the barrels is up, he lets you
- 9:46Speaker 8: know it's gonna be all right. He rewards you with
- 9:49Speaker 8: the patience to finish because he gonna get you right
- 9:52Speaker 8: back where you need to be and you can get
- 9:54Speaker 8: on which way.
- 9:55Speaker 2: You was going. Okay, all right, Joall, we're gonna try
- 9:57Speaker 2: that today.

- 10:53Speaker 2: Love Mercy.
- 10:58Speaker 8: Comment show. The comedy thing got out of hand a
- 11:02Speaker 8: little bit. I had to reel it back in.
- 11:06Speaker 3: A little bit.
- 11:08Speaker 8: You forgot I was hard too, because I was. I was,
- 11:11Speaker 8: I was motivating. But you know, I'm always gonna use
- 11:13Speaker 8: my gift because I don't like boring speakers.
- 11:16Speaker 2: You know. Yeah, people, a little bit of a little
- 11:18Speaker 2: bit of cussing. Yeah, I told them at the top
- 11:22Speaker 2: that's probably what's gonna happen.

- 12:03Speaker 8: some lunt with some dark money green gator crop.
- 12:09Speaker 9: Money green.
- 12:11Speaker 2: She Somebody says, stop him before he kill us. Somebody say,
- 12:18Speaker 2: stop him before he killed us. When you turned that coat.
- 12:23Speaker 1: They knew who they were there to see.
- 12:25Speaker 8: No, No, I ain't no doubt now it was. It
- 12:29Speaker 8: was a great opportunity for me.
- 12:30Speaker 5: Man.
- 12:31Speaker 8: It put me into a new genre, new arena. I'd
- 12:34Speaker 8: never been anywhere like that.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Uh uh.
- 12:38Speaker 8: You know, I've given motivational speeches before, but never just
- 12:43Speaker 8: to sell out a show in that capacity.
- 12:45Speaker 2: That was a wonderful thing. So I may be on
- 12:47Speaker 2: the something pill know what to do.
- 12:49Speaker 8: I'm not gonna I'm just gonna wait and see what
- 12:52Speaker 8: God tell me to do. You know, I don't know

- 16:58Speaker 11: It's not a double negative, it's a double positive. You've
- 17:01Speaker 11: actually come back positive. Say he's written here on the
- 17:05Speaker 11: actual cup.
- 17:06Speaker 12: Maybe you have more than one faith.
- 17:08Speaker 11: No, no, we don't have more than one faith. You're
- 17:10Speaker 11: the only fake. I've actually double checked that myself. You

- 17:22Speaker 11: Are you trying to tell me that if I come
- 17:23Speaker 11: and pick you up and take your year and now,
- 17:25Speaker 11: your urine is gonna.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Come up negative? Is that what you're saying.
- 17:28Speaker 12: I'm telling you that you're a double positive. With that,
- 17:32Speaker 12: my urine is gonna come up negative.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Ma'am.
- 17:36Speaker 11: I hate to I don't want to come out haul
- 17:38Speaker 11: you in in front of your family, but you're actually
- 17:40Speaker 11: gonna be coming in and you're gonna do three months.
- 17:42Speaker 2: That's all I can tell you.
- 17:43Speaker 12: You've got confidence, sir, You got the wrong. Say I
- 17:46Speaker 12: don't know you got the wrong. It's one of the two,
- 17:49Speaker 12: might be both. You got the wrong. You got the

- 32:44Speaker 10: least a million dollars in damages over the abandoned rights
- 32:47Speaker 10: to Teddy's life story. TMZ claims that Miss Joan reportedly
- 32:52Speaker 10: granted him the rights to a book and film in
- 32:54Speaker 10: exchange for Voltron Entertainment agreeing to invest in the projects
- 32:59Speaker 10: and use his celebs status to promote them and Teddy's legacy. However,
- 33:04Speaker 10: back in twenty twenty two, Miss Joan apparently refused to
- 33:09Speaker 10: extend the rights to Tyrese and recently posted a statement

- 34:05Speaker 8: hold of though. It's just not how it works. And
- 34:08Speaker 8: I don't even know why. I don't know why my

- 34:14Speaker 8: really loved me.
- 34:16Speaker 2: No, I don't think you, because if she really loved me,

- 34:43Speaker 8: like that, man, Take your ass somewhere and sit down.
- 34:45Speaker 8: You don't see me going to court. It didn't work
- 34:47Speaker 8: out for me.
- 34:49Speaker 1: He said, he's confident and things will get worked out.
- 34:51Speaker 1: But finally we have to.

- 38:57Speaker 7: Morning show.
- 38:59Speaker 10: Listen to this, you guys. A Japanese couple have been
- 39:02Speaker 10: married for many years. They share a child, they've never
- 39:06Speaker 10: shared a home though, and only really see each other
- 39:09Speaker 10: on the weekend. It's called a quote separation marriage, and
- 39:13Speaker 10: it's become a bit of a trend in Japan. Couples
- 39:16Speaker 10: in separation marriages say they enjoy having each other's love
- 39:20Speaker 10: and support, but they also like to maintain an individual
- 39:23Speaker 10: lifestyle away from their partner. During a news interview, the
- 39:27Speaker 10: husband said, I rarely stay over night at my wife's house.
- 39:31Speaker 10: My career carries a lot of weight and importance in
- 39:33Speaker 10: my life. The wife said, if my husband is at home,
- 39:37Speaker 10: I might not feel free to do some things which
- 39:40Speaker 10: stresses me out. This way, I'm free from that kind
- 39:44Speaker 10: of stress. Their child lives full time with the mother.
- 39:47Speaker 10: They both strongly believe that living together is not essential
- 39:51Speaker 10: for a happy marriage.
- 39:52Speaker 1: What do you guys think.
- 39:53Speaker 2: We got to get that over here?
- 39:55Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 39:57Speaker 1: I will marriage this morning, moaning it this.
- 40:02Speaker 8: Moaning, But bring that on over here. As you introduce it,
- 40:09Speaker 8: I want you to know it's gonna be some pushback.
- 40:12Speaker 5: Just.
- 40:13Speaker 1: A little bit. Well, let me so. So you guys
- 40:19Speaker 1: think this might be a cool concept.
- 40:21Speaker 11: I think it's amazing and I think it's the way
- 40:24Speaker 11: life should have been from the beginning.
- 40:25Speaker 10: Yes, married, live in your own self house now.
- 40:32Speaker 15: Yeah, question is is we gonna get to do it?
- 40:35Speaker 5: No?
- 40:37Speaker 1: Well do this if you move to Japan?
- 40:39Speaker 15: Maybe, Yeah, we married the black women, come on that.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right.
- 40:46Speaker 2: You know that you give all that over in Japan.
- 40:50Speaker 8: Matter of fact, I'm just asking you don't come over
- 40:52Speaker 8: here with it, and please don't come to my house
- 40:54Speaker 8: and try to introduce it, because you're gonna get yourself
- 40:57Speaker 8: killed over here. I'm just like, you know, you're gonna
- 41:00Speaker 8: you're gonna get both of us killed over here with
- 41:02Speaker 8: that to just keep it in Japan.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Okay.
- 41:05Speaker 10: So here's a question, though, what would you do differently
- 41:08Speaker 10: if you were married but you had your own place
- 41:10Speaker 10: to live?
- 41:11Speaker 2: Just you know, I don't even like the questions you ask,
- 41:16Speaker 2: and I got my own place is almost stay married.

- 42:07Speaker 9: the rules ahead.
- 42:08Speaker 2: And she get in there? Can she get in that house?
- 42:11Speaker 8: Tell you right now, go ahead, I'm gonna have to
- 42:14Speaker 8: hire full time security service and bill towers in front
- 42:20Speaker 8: of my house. To shoot her coming over old. Yes,
- 42:25Speaker 8: I tell you right now on Wednesday, she's not gonna
- 42:29Speaker 8: stay her ass. I just y'all tell now, I'm gonna
- 42:32Speaker 8: have to get some shooters up on post.

- 53:48Speaker 10: Thank you nephew. Subject, find somebody else to play with.
- 53:52Speaker 10: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm dating a man that thinks the
- 53:55Speaker 10: sun rises and sets on him. He's very self entered,
- 54:00Speaker 10: and because he has beautiful hazel eyes, he's had these
- 54:03Speaker 10: all of his life. He's very conceited. We started dating
- 54:06Speaker 10: because I made him pursue me. In the beginning, I
- 54:10Speaker 10: never called him, and when he texted me, I left
- 54:13Speaker 10: him on read so he would have to work hard
- 54:15Speaker 10: to get my attention. He thought it was all a game,
- 54:18Speaker 10: and he said he never had to work so hard
- 54:20Speaker 10: to get someone that he was interested in.
- 54:23Speaker 1: I wanted him to know that I'm the prize, not him.
- 54:26Speaker 10: So now we've been dating for almost a year and
- 54:29Speaker 10: I've fallen back.
- 54:31Speaker 1: I've fallen in love with him.
- 54:32Speaker 10: The tables have turned and he started back talking to
- 54:36Speaker 10: me crazy. The other day, I told him that I
- 54:39Speaker 10: love him, and his response was, how could you not?
- 54:42Speaker 10: This is not cute at all, And I checked him
- 54:45Speaker 10: on it. During that argument, he said that he doesn't
- 54:47Speaker 10: need to say that he loves me. Every day because
- 54:50Speaker 10: if he didn't love me, he wouldn't he wouldn't left.
- 54:54Speaker 10: He would have left a long time ago because he
- 54:57Speaker 10: meets beautiful women every day. Let him know that he
- 55:00Speaker 10: better stop playing with me, because the same goes for me.
- 55:04Speaker 10: I can also find someone that shows me love and appreciation.
- 55:08Speaker 10: It's always about him, and if he hasn't had a haircut,
- 55:11Speaker 10: we can't go on a date. I've canceled plans so
- 55:13Speaker 10: many times because he felt like he didn't look presentable.
- 55:17Speaker 10: I've started going out without him because it is awkward
- 55:23Speaker 10: because most of our friends are coupled up. But it's
- 55:25Speaker 10: awkward because most of our friends are coupled up. Sex
- 55:29Speaker 10: is awkward too, because he says stuff like look into
- 55:33Speaker 10: these hazel eyes when we're doing it. He is a
- 55:36Speaker 10: beautifully handsome man, but he needs to find somebody else
- 55:39Speaker 10: to play with. Can he be fixed or does he
- 55:41Speaker 10: need to date himself? Well, he kind of is dating himself.
- 55:47Speaker 10: You know, we love to see confidence in people, but
- 55:50Speaker 10: it does sound like your man is quite a bit
- 55:52Speaker 10: full of himself.
- 55:54Speaker 1: Okay.
- 55:55Speaker 10: The only other thing I could say about him is
- 55:57Speaker 10: that he's been like this since day one. This letter
- 56:00Speaker 10: is filled with him, him, him all the way through
- 56:04Speaker 10: the letter. He hasn't changed from the beginning of your
- 56:08Speaker 10: letter to the end, but it seems you have changed,
- 56:11Speaker 10: and you've changed a lot. You're not the confident, self assured,
- 56:15Speaker 10: playing hard to get woman that you were when you
- 56:17Speaker 10: guys first met.
- 56:19Speaker 1: I guess because you've fallen in love with him.
- 56:21Speaker 10: You say in the beginning, you made him chase you,
- 56:25Speaker 10: you know when he texted you, you didn't answer him
- 56:28Speaker 10: right away, all those things. But now you've let your
- 56:31Speaker 10: guard down and mister conceited and he's changed the game
- 56:35Speaker 10: on you. It's perfectly fine to be in love with someone,
- 56:39Speaker 10: but not at the expense of your own happiness. Okay,
- 56:43Speaker 10: So all I can say is that if this guy
- 56:45Speaker 10: isn't giving you what you want, and he isn't.
- 56:48Speaker 1: Like telling you he loves you when you need that.
- 56:51Speaker 10: Or he's not going out with you because he didn't
- 56:53Speaker 10: get a haircut, or if the sex is awkward, then
- 56:56Speaker 10: you need to move on and live your life. I mean,
- 56:59Speaker 10: you know, all you've talked about is how he looks anyway.
- 57:03Speaker 10: You never said you know that he's a good man
- 57:05Speaker 10: or anything like that. And like you said, you can
- 57:07Speaker 10: find someone to love and appreciate you. Maybe he's just
- 57:10Speaker 10: too pretty or too selfish for you, and he's very
- 57:13Speaker 10: conceited and stuck on himself, and he can't, you know,
- 57:17Speaker 10: give you any love or any time.
- 57:19Speaker 8: Steve Well, she says the title of letter, find somebody
- 57:26Speaker 8: else to play with. Well, lady, I got to tell
- 57:28Speaker 8: you a first. You you're doing it right. You made
- 57:31Speaker 8: him chase you, You made him work for it, you
- 57:33Speaker 8: made him earn it. You know, men like the pursuit.
- 57:38Speaker 8: We pursue things that we think have value. And the
- 57:43Speaker 8: more value you have on yourself, the more valuable we'll
- 57:46Speaker 8: treat you when we get you. The only problem you
- 57:50Speaker 8: have is you didn't understand what you have to do.
- 57:55Speaker 8: After you get them to pursue you. You must keep
- 57:59Speaker 8: raising the bar. Men understand that we are competitors by nature.
- 58:06Speaker 8: We know if we want to be the fastest boy
- 58:08Speaker 8: on the street, we gotta beat all the boys on
- 58:11Speaker 8: the street.
- 58:11Speaker 2: Now, if a new boy move.
- 58:12Speaker 8: On the street, we gotta be the ass and we
- 58:13Speaker 8: won't keep beating on the fastest. That's the rule. If
- 58:17Speaker 8: you want to be the best box on the street,
- 58:19Speaker 8: you gotta box everybody on the street. You can Now,
- 58:21Speaker 8: if you can't whoop everybody on the street, you can't
- 58:24Speaker 8: say you're the best box on the street. The bar
- 58:26Speaker 8: always moves when you go up in grades. I'm the
- 58:29Speaker 8: best football player in the ninth grade. Well we're going
- 58:32Speaker 8: to tenth now, damn it. Some other people over here.
- 58:36Speaker 8: You know, you run track at the little school, you
- 58:39Speaker 8: go to the little private school, you win it gonna
- 58:42Speaker 8: go down there in that hood because they got some
- 58:46Speaker 8: different people down there running track. About to give a
- 58:50Speaker 8: damn about your little jacket with the with the emblem
- 58:52Speaker 8: on it. They're gonna blow you in that emblem. Asks
- 58:54Speaker 8: gonna be off on the ground. Don't nobody care about
- 58:57Speaker 8: you going down that little private school. You going here
- 58:59Speaker 8: with these black kids. They don't care nothing about that,
- 59:02Speaker 8: because the competition changes. Men are raised and understand that
- 59:07Speaker 8: the bar moves constantly. Women, you cannot forget when you're
- 59:12Speaker 8: dating men, to keep moving the bar that you got
- 59:17Speaker 8: the rise to the occasion, create new occasions, don't stop.
- 59:23Speaker 8: That's what happened to this sister right here. She made
- 59:26Speaker 8: him pursue him. He's everything now she looks caught up
- 59:29Speaker 8: now because he pretty we're gonna get into that second
- 59:32Speaker 8: half because I have told y'all about dating these pretty
- 59:35Speaker 8: ass men.
- 59:36Speaker 2: Ain't now, ain't.
- 59:38Speaker 8: I told y'all i'd have told y'all about dating pretty men.
- 59:43Speaker 8: Iudn told y'all. Now, look at you got the little
- 59:46Speaker 8: pretty thing. Now y'all can't go nowhere because he ain't
- 59:48Speaker 8: got no hair cut. See right there, you come back.
- 59:52Speaker 8: We're gonna get into that. No thought you picked pretty,
- 59:57Speaker 8: Just what you get.
- 59:58Speaker 1: All right, that's what I me.
- 1:00:00Speaker 10: Well that part too of Steve's response coming up. Why
- 1:00:03Speaker 10: are you mad about that? Coming up in twenty three
- 1:00:06Speaker 10: minutes after today's Strawberry letters, subject find somebody else to
- 1:00:10Speaker 10: play with. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:13Speaker 10: You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve,
- 1:00:17Speaker 10: let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject finds somebody else
- 1:00:21Speaker 10: to play with.
- 1:00:22Speaker 8: Yeah, she didn't met this pretty dude, made him pursue it,
- 1:00:25Speaker 8: and then she forgot to keep raising the bar. Now
- 1:00:29Speaker 8: he hadn't changed on him. You know, we started dating
- 1:00:32Speaker 8: because I made him pursue me in the beginning. I
- 1:00:34Speaker 8: never called him back. I made him work for it.
- 1:00:36Speaker 8: He thought it was a game. He said, he ain't
- 1:00:37Speaker 8: never had to work so hard, to have to fight
- 1:00:40Speaker 8: to get somebody who.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: Was interested in it. I wanted him to know that
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: I'm surprized, lady. I'm telling you you did everything anyway.
- 1:00:47Speaker 8: So now that we've been dating for all most a
- 1:00:49Speaker 8: year and I'm falling in love, when the tables have turned,
- 1:00:51Speaker 8: and he started talking back to me crazy, See right there,
- 1:00:54Speaker 8: the tables didn't turn.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: You didn't raise the bar. You have to keep raising
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: the bar.
- 1:01:01Speaker 8: A person can only talk to you crazy if you
- 1:01:03Speaker 8: let him, if you let them.
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: The other day, I told him I loved him. His
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: response was, how could you not?
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: I love you?
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: You see me, look at me. You see how pretty
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: I am? Look at me.
- 1:01:21Speaker 8: This is not cute at all. And I checked him
- 1:01:24Speaker 8: on it doing that argument. Now, you in an argument,
- 1:01:27Speaker 8: you have told the man you love him. Man, it
- 1:01:29Speaker 8: resulted in an argument. He said, if he didn't love you,
- 1:01:32Speaker 8: he ain't gotta tell you that every day, because if
- 1:01:34Speaker 8: he didn't love you, he would have left you a
- 1:01:35Speaker 8: long time ago.
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: Dog, What like?
- 1:01:38Speaker 8: Nah, that's to make you feel fortunate because he meets
- 1:01:42Speaker 8: beautiful women every day. Okay, So I let him know
- 1:01:46Speaker 8: he better start playing with me because the same goals
- 1:01:48Speaker 8: for me. I can also find somebody shows me love
- 1:01:51Speaker 8: and appreciation. It's always about him. If he ain't had
- 1:01:54Speaker 8: a haircut, we can't go out on the date. I
- 1:01:56Speaker 8: canceled playing so many times because he felt like he
- 1:01:58Speaker 8: didn't look presentable. I started going out without him. But
- 1:02:01Speaker 8: it's awkward because most of our friends a couple up.
- 1:02:04Speaker 8: Then sex is awkward too because he says stuff like
- 1:02:06Speaker 8: looking to these haze alves.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: When we're doing it.
- 1:02:09Speaker 8: He's a beautifully handsome man, but he needs to find
- 1:02:12Speaker 8: somebody else to play with. Can this be fixed or
- 1:02:14Speaker 8: does he need to date himself? All right, let's go
- 1:02:16Speaker 8: back to this lot right now. He told you it
- 1:02:20Speaker 8: is the funniest line I ever heard. One time, I
- 1:02:22Speaker 8: used to play golf with this dude named Pretty Ricky.
- 1:02:24Speaker 8: He used to win the Black Enterprise golf tournament every year.
- 1:02:27Speaker 8: To this young frit brother's son came along and started whooping.
- 1:02:31Speaker 8: Pretty Ricky was a funny guy man. We called him
- 1:02:33Speaker 8: Pretty Ricky. This girl was one time was talking to us.
- 1:02:36Speaker 8: We was having a break at the ninth hole. She
- 1:02:39Speaker 8: came up to Pretty Ricky said, so you're Pretty Ricky.
- 1:02:43Speaker 8: He said, yes, I am she said, why they called
- 1:02:47Speaker 8: you pretty Ricky? Isn't it obvious?
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: He said?
- 1:02:54Speaker 8: She said, why they call you pretty ricky? He said,
- 1:02:56Speaker 8: isn't it obvious? I fell out laughing because it was
- 1:03:00Speaker 8: the coolest remark I had ever heard, and isn't it obvious?
- 1:03:05Speaker 8: And so it reminds me of this dude with hey
- 1:03:07Speaker 8: but but pretty Ricky was a good.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: Dude if he I got loved for him.
- 1:03:11Speaker 8: But now you know you dating this pretty dude. I'un
- 1:03:14Speaker 8: told y'all about get these pretty ass me. Now you're
- 1:03:16Speaker 8: trying to go on a date. You can't go nowhere
- 1:03:18Speaker 8: cause he don't got no hair cut, So just come on,
- 1:03:22Speaker 8: no trim your little hair with your little edges at
- 1:03:25Speaker 8: the house, and come on, you canceling dates because he pretty.
- 1:03:28Speaker 8: He's spending more time in the mirror than you. He
- 1:03:31Speaker 8: licking his baby fangle, wiping down his eyebrows. I don't
- 1:03:34Speaker 8: date nobody like that. You see a man lick his
- 1:03:37Speaker 8: baby finger and then smooth his eyebrow with his baby finger.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: Cambl camful.
- 1:03:42Speaker 8: Now he's sitting up here now not making having sex
- 1:03:45Speaker 8: is awkward? Yeah, yeah, look into these hazel alive.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: I got news for you, brown eyes do that too.
- 1:03:53Speaker 8: Yeah, here's some brown eyeboys and he'll put it on you.
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: Huh. Come on, now, come on, I got a part.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: We call him Syclops.
- 1:04:01Speaker 8: He got one eye, he's kind of the other one
- 1:04:03Speaker 8: kind of gray because he got you know, he got
- 1:04:07Speaker 8: he got an accident when we was kids and cut
- 1:04:10Speaker 8: his eye. You know, they ain't had nothing to fix
- 1:04:11Speaker 8: it back then, so he just got this gray eye.
- 1:04:13Speaker 8: We call him Cyclops. Well, not in front of the girls.
- 1:04:16Speaker 8: We just call him Clops for short, Sydeclops when.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: The girls got out.
- 1:04:24Speaker 8: You know, we call him Clops when the girls around,
- 1:04:26Speaker 8: but the Cyclops when we buy ourself watching.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: Man like we'll be cheering for the game.
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: He go.
- 1:04:33Speaker 8: Man, you see that, They say, did you.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: The letter crazy?
- 1:04:44Speaker 8: This is a letter. Listen to me, ladies, that's date you.
- 1:04:48Speaker 8: Get you an ugly man. Get you a man that's
- 1:04:50Speaker 8: vaunable to look at. Yeah, because you know, pretty man
- 1:04:56Speaker 8: don't ever work out. They just don't ask anybody that's
- 1:04:58Speaker 8: married or dating a pre it don't worry.
- 1:05:02Speaker 10: Get you a man that's just you know, there's somebody
- 1:05:06Speaker 10: on the show that will disagree with you.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: That's why he married though. And I'm doing just fine.
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: They work out for him.
- 1:05:14Speaker 8: If she married somebody that's bearable. You've never heard him
- 1:05:17Speaker 8: and they say, oh my god, he's pretty. You've never
- 1:05:20Speaker 8: heard ever. And I've known him the whole time they've
- 1:05:24Speaker 8: been married. I've never once said, but he is so pretty.
- 1:05:27Speaker 8: Have you ever heard anybody say he was pretty?
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: But that's in his mind though?
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: Straight, No, it don't matter. Strange.
- 1:05:34Speaker 8: You should have it in your mind that you're attracted,
- 1:05:37Speaker 8: but knowing your heart that you're not.
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: Stop lying to yourself. Just hey, man, look when I
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: walk out on stage already know just dress nice as
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: you can because you got flaws. Just wear nice a
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: suit as yea.
- 1:05:56Speaker 8: In your mind say you attractive, but in your heart
- 1:06:00Speaker 8: you know your ass is blown.

- 1:08:24Speaker 2: he the real deal. He tried. Damn here we.

- 1:09:27Speaker 10: It is thank you you and your thank you pimping
- 1:09:31Speaker 10: coming up at the top of the hour.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: A listener needs some advice.
- 1:09:34Speaker 10: He says, I call my married neighbor's side piece on
- 1:09:37Speaker 10: my brain camera.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: What do I do? We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:09:41Speaker 10: You're listening hardy Morning show. All right, Steve, This is
- 1:09:47Speaker 10: from Gabrielle and Steve barb f N. She says, my
- 1:09:50Speaker 10: husband and I are close to the couple Duan and Sherry.
- 1:09:54Speaker 10: Remember those namesd Wan and Sherry. Do Wan and Sherry
- 1:09:57Speaker 10: live across the street. We've known them since we moved
- 1:10:01Speaker 10: in four years ago, and the four of us are
- 1:10:03Speaker 10: fairly tight. Recently, the ring camera we have facing the
- 1:10:06Speaker 10: street and their house has recorded several visits by a
- 1:10:10Speaker 10: young woman with a cliffboard. She's never visited when both
- 1:10:14Speaker 10: of them were home, just when Dewan was alone Deuan
- 1:10:18Speaker 10: lets her in, she stays for an hour or two,
- 1:10:21Speaker 10: and she leaves. My husband and I didn't think much
- 1:10:23Speaker 10: of it until the last time, when the woman was
- 1:10:27Speaker 10: leaving but leaned back inside the door and to our surprise,
- 1:10:31Speaker 10: gave Dewan a kiss before heading down the sidewalk walked
- 1:10:35Speaker 10: to her car. My husband and I don't know what
- 1:10:38Speaker 10: to do with this, as we like this couple a
- 1:10:41Speaker 10: great deal.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: Do we ignore it?
- 1:10:43Speaker 5: Though?
- 1:10:44Speaker 10: We're not sure we can act the same around Dewan
- 1:10:47Speaker 10: after this?
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: Should we show the videos to Sherry or to Dewan.
- 1:10:52Speaker 10: We're at a loss and we have a dinner scheduled
- 1:10:54Speaker 10: with them next week, so what should they do about?
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: Listen to me, yo ringan camera is to capture stuff
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: at your house, your damn security yo ring camera. You
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: bought it for your house. It ain't even supposed to
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: be aim that high. Lower your damn do'bell ring.
- 1:11:15Speaker 8: Put your stuff down just from your mailbox back up
- 1:11:18Speaker 8: to your house. What is you aiming all out in
- 1:11:20Speaker 8: the street for that ain't none of your damn business.
- 1:11:24Speaker 8: And you, you and your husband trying to figure out
- 1:11:27Speaker 8: that y'all should show her or him?
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: Y'all act like you've been like, it ain't your damn business.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: Should they show Sherry or should they show the wand.
- 1:11:38Speaker 9: First thing, why don't you show nobody?
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Yeah? Wow, what they're supposed to do when they go to.
- 1:11:44Speaker 8: Surprise that your husband? And this is really her and
- 1:11:47Speaker 8: her husband. I'm pretty I promise you her husband ain't going.
- 1:11:51Speaker 8: I wonder what we should do unless he just square.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: His head off to talking about what we are to dress.
- 1:11:58Speaker 8: Oh my god, I don't know where we're gonna do.
- 1:12:00Speaker 8: It just seems like there's such a nice couple for
- 1:12:01Speaker 8: him to be doing this. What's the clipboard for?
- 1:12:03Speaker 6: You know?
- 1:12:04Speaker 8: It's been going on for quite some time. She leaned
- 1:12:05Speaker 8: back in and the kids I just said, oh my god, now.
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: What she said?
- 1:12:10Speaker 10: Can her husband don't know what to do because they
- 1:12:12Speaker 10: like the couple a lot, and they're going to dinner
- 1:12:14Speaker 10: with them next week.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: Just go to dinner. What is y'all talking about? What
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: you gotta do with it?
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: They don't feel the same now about de Wan. They
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: don't want to be, you know, fake.
- 1:12:27Speaker 9: I'll tell you what you.
- 1:12:28Speaker 8: Do, then I'll tell you what if you don't feel
- 1:12:30Speaker 8: the same about Duan didn't canceled dinner next week. But
- 1:12:33Speaker 8: they're all so close, so eventually they ain't close no more.
- 1:12:39Speaker 8: Dan close to close. Yag Duan got.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: New friend, the lady with the clipboard.
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: Dan got new friend.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: She got the clipboard for.
- 1:13:00Speaker 10: She already use it all right, Well, I think we
- 1:13:04Speaker 10: think we have time for another one. Victoria on Facebook Rights.
- 1:13:09Speaker 10: My dad passed away when I was young, and a
- 1:13:11Speaker 10: few years later, my mom started dating a new guy.
- 1:13:14Speaker 10: After they were together for less than a year, they
- 1:13:17Speaker 10: had my little brother. We are both adults now, and
- 1:13:20Speaker 10: my mom is still with my little brother's father. The
- 1:13:24Speaker 10: problem is that he's not a good person. He's cruel
- 1:13:27Speaker 10: and dishonest. My brother and I hardly have any relationship
- 1:13:31Speaker 10: with him. Neither of us will take our kids to
- 1:13:33Speaker 10: see him, but my mom comes to see her grandkids often.
- 1:13:37Speaker 10: She's not even fifty yet, and I'm afraid she's going
- 1:13:39Speaker 10: to spend her golden years with a man who isn't
- 1:13:42Speaker 10: caring or a good person. How can I get her
- 1:13:45Speaker 10: to see what his own son sees.
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: What you probably need to do is by yourself a
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: doughbell like.
- 1:13:54Speaker 17: And gets you some footage, get you some footage of
- 1:13:59Speaker 17: him being a bad person. Indeed, you'll take it a
- 1:14:02Speaker 17: lot and have and showed him the video and had
- 1:14:06Speaker 17: de wont come over for and just saind want these
- 1:14:11Speaker 17: ain't the old people got dough bills?
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: Now?
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: Wow?
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: All right, thank you.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: Sometimes you gotta let people just learn on their own.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, all right.
- 1:14:24Speaker 10: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:14:26Speaker 10: up at twenty minutes after the hour right after this.
- 1:14:29Speaker 10: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, this is
- 1:14:35Speaker 10: a weird animal news story, Steve. This is an emotional
- 1:14:39Speaker 10: support alligator. Okay, we know we've heard about emotional support.
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: Dogs and cats and all that. This is an.
- 1:14:45Speaker 10: Emotional support alligator. This alligator was turned away from a
- 1:14:50Speaker 10: baseball game. Turned away from a baseball game in Philly,
- 1:14:53Speaker 10: but he was invited by the players.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: His name is Wally.
- 1:14:57Speaker 10: He's a six foot long, fifty five pound all gator
- 1:15:00Speaker 10: who has over twenty five thousand followers on Instagram. Well,
- 1:15:04Speaker 10: he was turned away because he did not meet the
- 1:15:06Speaker 10: requirements of a quote service animal. While he's owner, mister
- 1:15:10Speaker 10: Henny has told multiple news media outlets that he wanted
- 1:15:14Speaker 10: to clarify this story and that Wally had been invited
- 1:15:18Speaker 10: to the game. In fact we were invited. There's a
- 1:15:21Speaker 10: big difference. I don't just do stuff on my own.
- 1:15:25Speaker 10: Mister Henny works with alligators, and Wally is special. He
- 1:15:28Speaker 10: says he helped him get through depression during his cancer treatment.
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: Hey, that ain't no service. You had cancer.
- 1:15:38Speaker 8: I ain't got nothing due that damn alligated I had
- 1:15:41Speaker 8: cancer anyway, talking about the alligator, and if I tell you,
- 1:15:43Speaker 8: if the players invited it, Canda damn alligated down in
- 1:15:47Speaker 8: that damn dugout, that's what's bringing out. And see how
- 1:15:50Speaker 8: many people stay in that damn dugout.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: Clear the dugout.
- 1:15:56Speaker 8: Hell you bringing them down in them game for talking
- 1:15:58Speaker 8: about you had cance and everything you He.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: Said, Wally is special. He's not like other alligators. Steve, Okay, okay, keep.
- 1:16:11Speaker 10: Coming up in thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:16:14Speaker 10: play around.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: And would you rather right after this.
- 1:16:18Speaker 10: You're listening hard morning show and it's time now for
- 1:16:22Speaker 10: a round. And would you rather would you rather have
- 1:16:24Speaker 10: a quickie or would you rather have an all night
- 1:16:28Speaker 10: escapade quickie or all night long work?
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: Quirky, how about doing all that be?
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: Junior said, b all night?
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: Yeah, one night?
- 1:16:40Speaker 9: Steve, you said all night escape.
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: I got those work.
- 1:16:48Speaker 9: To go to work all night long.
- 1:16:50Speaker 15: Oh no, yeah, we're saying in a few years, but
- 1:16:53Speaker 15: I just got me so yeah.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Oh okay, all right, junior, all right, I see.
- 1:16:57Speaker 8: You see you don't know nothing yet.
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: All right, teach you. It's all about that ending the
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: mood and ending up.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: It didn't work, It don't didn't work.
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: No, come on, man, come on, all right you how
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: many times I've done this before? Stop? Already know what
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: they's leading to. Let's what it's supposed to get laid to.
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:17:38Speaker 10: So would you rather date someone with no emotions, no
- 1:17:41Speaker 10: emotions at all? Or would you rather date a compulsive
- 1:17:45Speaker 10: liar someone that can't Possibly?
- 1:17:48Speaker 11: I want that non emotional person, just flat just.
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: I want a liar.
- 1:18:00Speaker 9: Do you want to because I'm lying too?
- 1:18:06Speaker 8: Other everybody I've been married to you even got the liar.
- 1:18:10Speaker 8: So I ain't no need to stop it now. You
- 1:18:14Speaker 8: asked me any question?
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: Watch this?
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: Will you ever grow hair back on your head?
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:18:19Speaker 8: Maybe say just lying for no.
- 1:18:22Speaker 10: Reason, for no reason, the truth would have been fine
- 1:18:25Speaker 10: right there.
- 1:18:26Speaker 8: Right there, But right there, you know, just in case
- 1:18:28Speaker 8: you want some some go on with some hair mighty.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: Well he said he can grow it back. Okay, all right.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: Last one?
- 1:18:37Speaker 10: Would you rather have Thanksgiving leftovers for lunch every day
- 1:18:40Speaker 10: for the rest of your life? Thanksgiving lunch leftovers for
- 1:18:44Speaker 10: lunch every day? Or would you rather have a kale
- 1:18:47Speaker 10: salad for lunch every day? Leftovers from Thanksgiving? Or kale salad?
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: I don't want no kill salad no matter what. Okay, call,
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: I'll never answer.
- 1:18:58Speaker 8: Okay, tell you what if you get a kale salin
- 1:19:01Speaker 8: or real kale santin, they don't cut it up real fine.
- 1:19:05Speaker 8: To eat it, you had to get down on all fours.
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: That's a different texture.
- 1:19:18Speaker 10: Yes, So Thanksgiving leftovers for lunch every day?
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: There turkey dressing, mac and cheese. All right, that's today's rounded.
- 1:19:26Speaker 10: Would you rather coming up at forty nine minutes after
- 1:19:29Speaker 10: the hour our last break of the day and Steve
- 1:19:31Speaker 10: Harvey will close out the show right after this.
- 1:19:34Speaker 7: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:19:38Speaker 10: Here we are, guys, our last break of the day
- 1:19:40Speaker 10: on this Tuesday.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: It's been a good day. Welcome back, skeeeze.
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you.
- 1:19:47Speaker 8: Did a lot of travel in the past couple of
- 1:19:49Speaker 8: days after I left the weekend Motivational two.
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: I want to thank everybody. At your Marvel Casino and
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: Resort down in Highland, California. I was pleasantly surprised. That
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: resort is really really nice, Oh really really really nice.
- 1:20:10Speaker 8: Okay, And I don't know the nation of Native Americans
- 1:20:16Speaker 8: that are, but I'm gonna get a DNA test because
- 1:20:18Speaker 8: I think we're related somebody. They got a lot of money,
- 1:20:23Speaker 8: and I think we need to look into it. They're
- 1:20:26Speaker 8: doing exceptionally well. Yeah, that casino, and then they just
- 1:20:31Speaker 8: recently bought the Palm Hotel in Vegas, so they make
- 1:20:35Speaker 8: it a lot of money.
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:20:36Speaker 8: The theater was amazing, three thousand, completely sold out. A
- 1:20:41Speaker 8: lot of people came down from LA There was a
- 1:20:44Speaker 8: lot of fans in there.
- 1:20:45Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: It was really heartwarming for me.
- 1:20:47Speaker 8: I haven't gone to a venue selling tickets since twenty fifteen.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: You know, what did you learn from that experience?
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: I still got it. I still got it.
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: You know.
- 1:21:00Speaker 8: It's a motivational tour, but I'm going to always use
- 1:21:03Speaker 8: my gift of comedy to keep it interesting. The second
- 1:21:07Speaker 8: night in Durant, Durant, Oklahoma at the Chalk Tawk Reservation,
- 1:21:11Speaker 8: another great facility. I was pleasantly surprised it sold out again,
- 1:21:16Speaker 8: completely sold out standing room tickets only, and the Comedy
- 1:21:21Speaker 8: Park got a little.
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: Bit out of hand. What mean mean well I wrote
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: about I probably wrote over the weekend, probably five bits.
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: I wrote five bits on stage because I didn't plan
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: on any bits, but I stumbled across five bits that
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: if I do a comedy special, five of them things
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: could be written up into some real nice stuff.
- 1:21:45Speaker 8: But it was so many people came up from the
- 1:21:47Speaker 8: Dallas area one oh five point seven KR and b
- 1:21:52Speaker 8: down there in Dallas. Man, a lot of people came
- 1:21:55Speaker 8: but felt like Dallas to me. Man, it really did.
- 1:21:58Speaker 8: It was cheering, man, it was crazy standing ovation. It
- 1:22:01Speaker 8: made me feel warm. It was the first time I've
- 1:22:03Speaker 8: really gone out as a motivational speaker. I still use
- 1:22:09Speaker 8: the comedy because I like the whole people's attention. But
- 1:22:12Speaker 8: it was about faith, It was about discipline, It was
- 1:22:14Speaker 8: about imagination, it was about building bridges. It was just
- 1:22:21Speaker 8: about a lot of stuff. Man, I discovered some things.
- 1:22:23Speaker 8: I want to thank my son, my oldest son, who
- 1:22:27Speaker 8: was with me on the tour, helping me with all
- 1:22:30Speaker 8: of the logistics of it, holding me down and understanding
- 1:22:35Speaker 8: what I was trying to do. My bodyguard, Boomerang and
- 1:22:40Speaker 8: JT came up. I had a good time seeing them boys.
- 1:22:45Speaker 8: We was joking about everything too, because you know, the
- 1:22:48Speaker 8: out there was talking about the internet. I said, you know,
- 1:22:50Speaker 8: there's a rumor going around about my bodyguard and my
- 1:22:53Speaker 8: wife that he is over there.
- 1:22:54Speaker 5: Now.
- 1:22:54Speaker 8: I don't know how you think that's real. I don't
- 1:22:57Speaker 8: know how you think I'm gonna let his ass stand
- 1:23:00Speaker 8: over there. Oh yeah, yeah, I said, oh yeah, oh,
- 1:23:03Speaker 8: I said. They was in that holly. I dressed up
- 1:23:08Speaker 8: some of the social media stuff. I just had a
- 1:23:10Speaker 8: good time.
- 1:23:10Speaker 7: Man.
- 1:23:10Speaker 8: It was a but it was mostly me just sharing
- 1:23:13Speaker 8: some jewels and gems I've learned along the way, mostly
- 1:23:17Speaker 8: about faith. And the audience was really really receptive to that. Man,
- 1:23:22Speaker 8: there's a lot of people. You know something, I try
- 1:23:25Speaker 8: to encourage people, you know. I said it in a
- 1:23:28Speaker 8: jokingly way. I've never said this before, but on stage
- 1:23:31Speaker 8: I said it in a joking way.
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: I said, the.
- 1:23:34Speaker 8: Bible says that's none perfect, no, not one. I said,
- 1:23:38Speaker 8: So I quit trying. So I do the best I can.
- 1:23:41Speaker 8: When I stumble, I get back up, I ask for
- 1:23:43Speaker 8: forgiveness and I move on. I don't know who these
- 1:23:46Speaker 8: people are.
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: They're sitting up in here telling you you're gonna be perfect,
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: and you gotta practice perfection and practice it all you want.
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: It's not gonna happen. So what you have to do
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: is when you make a mistake or you fall short,
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: ask for forgiveness and get back up on the bike
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: and ride off. You know what knocks people down there
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: is this constant preaching of perfection, and it makes you
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: think you ain't worthy. No more.
- 1:24:08Speaker 8: Nobody's worthy, nobody, everybody's imperfect. Nobody gets through this thing
- 1:24:16Speaker 8: seeing free, nobody. You were born into this world as
- 1:24:19Speaker 8: a sinner, you will die a sinner. But through God's
- 1:24:24Speaker 8: grace and mercy, He's prepared to heaven. Now if there
- 1:24:27Speaker 8: are no perfect people, but yet and still he has
- 1:24:30Speaker 8: a place called heaven.
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: Who going See? That's why people get off the wagon
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: the wrong way. You keep preaching perfection at people, and
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: you make Christianity seem too hard, So then people scared
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: to try it because they don't want to fail at it.
- 1:24:48Speaker 8: Well, everybody gonna fail at it if there's none perfect, no,
- 1:24:52Speaker 8: not one, but he then prepare to heaven. Who's going
