- 0:38Speaker 1: don't join join me. You're doing me. You gotta turn,
- 1:22Speaker 1: you gotta turn to turn them out, turn love, got
- 1:43Speaker 1: to turn out. Then turn the water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your fad it. I shall will come Martin.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Everybody you are listening to the voice, come on now
- 2:08Speaker 1: dig me one and only Steve Harvey Man got a
- 2:12Speaker 1: radio show. What God doing, y'all? Huh? What are he doing?
- 2:16Speaker 1: What are he doing in your life? He doing something?
- 2:19Speaker 1: He moving, he working. Don't lose your patience though so
- 2:23Speaker 1: I did that before. Don't lose your patience. Don't don't.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Don't get so sick of waiting that you take matters
- 2:30Speaker 1: into your own hands. Don't do that. Boy, you're blowing it.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Listen to me. You're listening to somebody who's done it
- 2:38Speaker 1: that way. I had a dream. I had a vision.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I had some hope, I had some faith, I had
- 2:45Speaker 1: some aspirations, but I got a little impatient waiting on it.
- 2:49Speaker 1: So I tried a couple other things move it along.
- 2:52Speaker 1: But I can't tell you how I messed it up.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Then I messed it up. Then, because God gave me
- 2:57Speaker 1: the power of decision, what I had to do was
- 2:59Speaker 1: then after I took matters into my own hand, messed
- 3:03Speaker 1: it up. Now, guess what, He still got something from me.
- 3:06Speaker 1: But now I gotta fix all the mistakes. Now I
- 3:09Speaker 1: gotta straighten them out. I gotta I gotta suffer some consequences.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I gotta pay for my transgressions. All of that, All
- 3:16Speaker 1: of that, it's gotta go down. You can't do something
- 3:20Speaker 1: wrong and not pay for it. It's you call it, calma,
- 3:24Speaker 1: call it whatever you wanna call it. Every action has
- 3:28Speaker 1: an equal and opposite reaction every action. If it just
- 3:33Speaker 1: stays sunny all the time, you might think it's cool,
- 3:36Speaker 1: but there's gonna be a reaction to it. Ain't no dark,
- 3:38Speaker 1: ain't no shade, ain't no break, ain't no rain. Gonna
- 3:42Speaker 1: be hard if it's just sunny all the time, vice versa.
- 3:46Speaker 1: So you need you need the opposite. You need the
- 3:49Speaker 1: darkness so you can get your break from that sun.
- 3:52Speaker 1: You need the rain so you can nourish the roots
- 3:55Speaker 1: so that sun it can soak up the sun and
- 3:59Speaker 1: get the benefit of the son. If you don't get
- 4:01Speaker 1: the opposite, you got a problem, man. And it happens
- 4:04Speaker 1: throughout nature, it happens throughout your life. Don't think that
- 4:08Speaker 1: you can do wrong and not have to pay for that.
- 4:12Speaker 1: See some mighty as. We're just going to get with
- 4:15Speaker 1: that now, because that's it. You reap what you sold.
- 4:19Speaker 1: That's it. That's that's that's standard that that's a rule,
- 4:25Speaker 1: that's a law of nature, that's God's law. You can't
- 4:28Speaker 1: get around that. I don't care who you are. You
- 4:31Speaker 1: want to be the world's greatest drug pin You're gonna
- 4:33Speaker 1: die just like that. You reap misery on other people's lives,
- 4:38Speaker 1: misery coming to your life. You can justify it and
- 4:42Speaker 1: call while I'm in a gang, dismhood, you call it
- 4:45Speaker 1: whatever you want to call it. With that foolishness, you
- 4:48Speaker 1: file and you out of line, and you're gonna pay
- 4:50Speaker 1: for that. Do you think this is man? We We
- 4:53Speaker 1: we think man because we'd have made a decision that
- 4:56Speaker 1: we think is best for us, and no matter how
- 4:58Speaker 1: it affect nobody else, we out the right to make
- 5:00Speaker 1: that call. No, you don't. No, you don't. Whoever it
- 5:04Speaker 1: is telling you that, whoever's misguiding you into the gang life,
- 5:08Speaker 1: telling you, yeah, man, you need to be this a
- 5:10Speaker 1: way to be down with us. I'll tell you what.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Get yourself stuck on chuck with that gang. See how
- 5:14Speaker 1: many of them be there for you. Oh they'll go
- 5:16Speaker 1: around the corner with you and starts shooting. But okay,
- 5:19Speaker 1: when it's time to do some time and they can
- 5:22Speaker 1: lessen their centers, you're gonna get that time. They're gonna
- 5:25Speaker 1: point their finger dead at you. I watched for eight
- 5:27Speaker 1: hours all the time, man. I watched locker up raw
- 5:30Speaker 1: all the time, all the time, man, all the time.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Ain't no real cold dudes out there, just holding to
- 5:36Speaker 1: the mantra and sticking to it. Even the mob turns stateside,
- 5:40Speaker 1: evidence go fed all that. Now we are out the hood.
- 5:44Speaker 1: We didn't created this ignorant mess called no snitchet. With
- 5:47Speaker 1: that hignorant mess, you don't even understand. No snitching was
- 5:50Speaker 1: created by criminals as a code of honor. If you
- 5:53Speaker 1: do dirt and you get busted doing the dirt, don't
- 5:55Speaker 1: bring my name up. If I was with you, that's
- 5:58Speaker 1: a code of honor amongst the thieves. Now, so many
- 6:01Speaker 1: code of honor thieves that then came out of prison.
- 6:03Speaker 1: They ain't gotten no honor. They then bought that stuff
- 6:05Speaker 1: back to the street. Now that's all in the neighborhood.
- 6:07Speaker 1: No snitching. No snitching, you gotta be crazy. That's for
- 6:11Speaker 1: people who disobey the law. That's who people have made
- 6:14Speaker 1: a code of honor amongst themselves as thieves. Hey, man,
- 6:17Speaker 1: if you get busted, don't drag me down. What you
- 6:19Speaker 1: just do your time? Oh man, you can't bring that
- 6:22Speaker 1: stuff out here to me. I'm a law biden citizen. Dog.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I'm trying to live right over here. Man, I don't
- 6:28Speaker 1: want to crack house up street from my mama's house.
- 6:31Speaker 1: I'm trying to do right out here. Man, you can't
- 6:33Speaker 1: do wrong and expect wrong not to come to you.
- 6:36Speaker 1: You got to make a decision every day to do right.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Ask God. I was watching this thing on TV. This
- 6:41Speaker 1: gang down in Miami. They say a prab before they
- 6:45Speaker 1: go out and do a hit. What what? What? You're crazy?
- 6:50Speaker 1: Who have you let tell you? This hog? This work
- 6:53Speaker 1: got something ritual they go through man like God going
- 6:56Speaker 1: honor them and protect them. On some dirt. God ain't
- 7:00Speaker 1: got no protection you on dirt. You got what you
- 7:02Speaker 1: got coming. You made a decision. You go down there
- 7:06Speaker 1: to get some you might got get got see, we
- 7:10Speaker 1: got to come on. I'm talking to so many men
- 7:13Speaker 1: out here right now. I should have said that adn't
- 7:15Speaker 1: be getting but my conversation kind of got away from that.
- 7:18Speaker 1: I was going to talk to you about something else
- 7:19Speaker 1: this morning, but did just only man, because our communities. Man,
- 7:22Speaker 1: it's just going to the pot man, because it ain't
- 7:25Speaker 1: nobody can about nobody else. Don't nobody care when they
- 7:30Speaker 1: see that young dude over that doing wrong. Look at
- 7:32Speaker 1: them foods over that man, Go over there and talk
- 7:34Speaker 1: to one of them. Put them to the side. Man.
- 7:37Speaker 1: You might not be able to approach the group, but
- 7:39Speaker 1: you can approach an individual. Come in, young man, Let
- 7:42Speaker 1: me talk to you. I saw you the other day. Man.
- 7:43Speaker 1: You look like you got something going on in your life.
- 7:45Speaker 1: What's happening with you? Let me talk to you, man,
- 7:48Speaker 1: Let me share something I learned. I was doing what
- 7:50Speaker 1: you was doing. You know. It's like Tommy did a
- 7:53Speaker 1: prank phone call one time as a limo driver, and
- 7:57Speaker 1: the dude the prank was he called this limo company
- 8:00Speaker 1: to ask this limo driver to take him to this
- 8:04Speaker 1: location late at night, and the limo driver got a
- 8:08Speaker 1: young business he going, yeah, okay, I got you. I
- 8:09Speaker 1: don't normally work like that. But how long you need it?
- 8:12Speaker 1: He say for just about an hour? He said, well,
- 8:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to charge you for the full three though,
- 8:16Speaker 1: because a three hour minimum. Tommy told him, now, I
- 8:19Speaker 1: just needed for one hours. He said, okay, I'll give
- 8:21Speaker 1: you a break. Young man. You're trying to do something.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Where you want to go? He gave an address. The
- 8:25Speaker 1: man stopped writing. He said, that's a bank. He said, yeah.
- 8:30Speaker 1: He said, you want to go to the bank at
- 8:32Speaker 1: twelve thirty at night. He say, yeah, and I'm gonna
- 8:35Speaker 1: be in for a few minutes. And when I come
- 8:37Speaker 1: out that bank, I need for you to flow it.
- 8:41Speaker 1: That to dude with the limo He stopped writing. He said, ho,
- 8:44Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, man. You want me to take
- 8:48Speaker 1: you to a bank twelve thirty at night. You're gonna
- 8:51Speaker 1: be in there for a few minutes and you're gonna
- 8:53Speaker 1: come out, and you want me to float it. He says, sir,
- 8:56Speaker 1: I don't do stuff like that. He said, you got
- 8:58Speaker 1: the wrong company. He said, what made you call here?
- 9:01Speaker 1: He said, hey, man, don't worry about that. You a
- 9:02Speaker 1: limo come to you. Just dry. He stopped and took
- 9:05Speaker 1: the time out. He said, young man, let me tell
- 9:08Speaker 1: you something. He said. I've been down before, I've been
- 9:11Speaker 1: locked up before. It ain't pretty. He said, that's what's
- 9:15Speaker 1: wrong with you young people to day. Instead of going
- 9:17Speaker 1: to get a job, trying to work your way, you're
- 9:19Speaker 1: always looking for some fast money. Head. I'm gonna tell
- 9:21Speaker 1: you what I already know. Don't go down they're messing
- 9:23Speaker 1: with them people's money like that because they love that
- 9:25Speaker 1: money where more than they love you, and they're gonna
- 9:28Speaker 1: do something to you down now. Now, you stop this foolishness.
- 9:31Speaker 1: And I'm not caring you nowhere, but I'm gonna take
- 9:33Speaker 1: a little bit of time out to tell you something.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Don't go down here with messing with these people's money
- 9:39Speaker 1: because it ain't gonna go good. They're gonna take care
- 9:41Speaker 1: of their business where they come to that money. Tommy
- 9:43Speaker 1: kept insisting to this man to pick him up in
- 9:45Speaker 1: the limit. It was a playing phone call. But the
- 9:47Speaker 1: point I'm making is the man took out time he
- 9:50Speaker 1: could just hung the phone up. But you know what
- 9:52Speaker 1: he's said, he's a hold up young man. Let me
- 9:55Speaker 1: hip you to something. Because the brother had been locked
- 9:57Speaker 1: up before. He said, no, no, no, I see I've
- 9:59Speaker 1: done that when I was. Now I'm gonna stop and
- 10:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna take some moment out to tell you. I'm
- 10:03Speaker 1: gonna here, working man trying to earn an honest living.
- 10:05Speaker 1: I ain't going back down there because I don't. I don't.
- 10:08Speaker 1: They make you eat what they want you to eat.
- 10:09Speaker 1: You don't want the food. You gotta get up when
- 10:11Speaker 1: they say get up. You gotta stay where they say stay,
- 10:13Speaker 1: live with who they say live. He said, man, you
- 10:16Speaker 1: don't want that, and he just tried to talk the
- 10:18Speaker 1: young man out of it. You can change a young
- 10:21Speaker 1: man's mind with a conversation. A conversation can change a
- 10:25Speaker 1: young man's mind. Most of these young men that are
- 10:27Speaker 1: misguided ain't having conversations with real men. They just not
- 10:31Speaker 1: having them. And it's up to us, who know what
- 10:34Speaker 1: manhood is is, to start delivering the message. The problem
- 10:37Speaker 1: that we have in our communities we could solve ourselves.
- 10:40Speaker 1: It didn't escalated to a point because we who are
- 10:43Speaker 1: men won't stop on our corporate climb and our day
- 10:46Speaker 1: to day making money and trying to ball out. We
- 10:49Speaker 1: won't stop and grab some of these young soldiers and
- 10:52Speaker 1: tell them the truth about manhood. That's the real deal. Okay,
- 10:55Speaker 1: So I went there. I don't know where they came from.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You're listening to show Top Top Top Top Top Tops,
- 11:04Speaker 1: Top up the morning. It is a Steve Happy morning show.

- 18:37Speaker 1: let you know the same thing I said everybody else
- 18:39Speaker 1: out the attitude family and no family. Surely, I said
- 18:43Speaker 1: him over, Yes, that's what I wanted you to have.
- 18:48Speaker 1: You have you? Have you talked to your pastor? Maybe
- 18:52Speaker 1: I ain't said nothing in my past. My pastor can't
- 18:55Speaker 1: say nothing to me right now right now. I ain't
- 18:58Speaker 1: trying to hear that right now. Try to hear prayer. Yeah,
- 19:01Speaker 1: I ain't trying to hear that right now. You ain't
- 19:04Speaker 1: trying to hear prayer. I ain't trying to hear. No.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Bow your head right now, not right now. Back up, everybody,
- 19:11Speaker 1: back up, Everybody back up, everybody back up. I had
- 19:17Speaker 1: to turn into that guy. I'm Colt forty five in
- 19:19Speaker 1: Newport with a searette behind you, behind your ear. Somebody,
- 19:27Speaker 1: somebody go get me some Winston's strong, oh man, No,
- 19:36Speaker 1: all jokes aside. I'm in a good place. Man. You
- 19:39Speaker 1: know we're playing and we're being silly right now. But
- 19:41Speaker 1: you know I've just made the decision to just literally
- 19:44Speaker 1: just say Okay, I'm done. I moved on like I'm
- 19:47Speaker 1: literally just not. I'm not entertaining or addressing what I've
- 19:50Speaker 1: addressed several times anymore. That's so we got to say.
- 19:54Speaker 1: I'm so proud of you for saying that, Kevin, because
- 19:56Speaker 1: I think you're taking a stand. You're taking a serious stand,
- 19:59Speaker 1: because you're right you when what you said. I mean,
- 20:03Speaker 1: if you once you apologize, people keep asking. You have
- 20:05Speaker 1: to apologize over and over, and it's never enough. He
- 20:11Speaker 1: apologized again. You got to stop it. People don't get
- 20:14Speaker 1: people don't move on. They won't allow you to move
- 20:17Speaker 1: on and grow. So you took a stand. Well, it's
- 20:20Speaker 1: not it's not about moving on in growth. It's about
- 20:23Speaker 1: what you've already put on display. You know why. Yeah, yeah,
- 20:27Speaker 1: your actions are already on display. There's a ten year gap.
- 20:30Speaker 1: So once you realize that, you you know what, I'm
- 20:32Speaker 1: trying to do the right thing by addressing it again
- 20:37Speaker 1: and re again and again and again, and then it's
- 20:39Speaker 1: still not being received. So I'm done. I'm done, just
- 20:43Speaker 1: such as you, just understanding you, I understand me, and
- 20:47Speaker 1: understanding me. I know when I've done all that I
- 20:49Speaker 1: can do. So I'm done. Trying to do more. It's
- 20:54Speaker 1: the same thing, the same I was just I was.
- 21:03Speaker 1: I was done. I'm sorry. I've done all I can do.
- 21:07Speaker 1: When I was done, she still played child support though
- 21:10Speaker 1: I did that. And when we come up, he said,
- 21:13Speaker 1: what we're talking about? She said, I'm so confused to
- 21:17Speaker 1: talk about I'm so us Okay, um, back up all me, sir,
- 21:22Speaker 1: When I get the mind out here. When I get
- 21:24Speaker 1: the mind, back up off me. You don't ask me
- 21:27Speaker 1: about my child, I pass off. All right. Listen, we're
- 21:31Speaker 1: coming back with the nephew. Okay, everybody has an attitude
- 21:34Speaker 1: on this show apparently, but he's gonna run that prank bit. Gon.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Kevin Hard is our special guest family member. We're coming
- 21:42Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening Kevin Hard in the building.
- 21:49Speaker 1: He has our special guest today. Yeah. Yeah, what an attitude.
- 21:53Speaker 1: I'm here and they know attitude. Just a little aggressive.
- 21:57Speaker 1: He's going in and out with it. Yeah, I know,
- 22:00Speaker 1: I had a dude. I'm all right, you know, I
- 22:02Speaker 1: still love the Lord. Hey, I ain't changing, you see
- 22:04Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Happy to hear that. Yeah, that's all right. Well,
- 22:08Speaker 1: before we get into that, why don't you introduce the
- 22:10Speaker 1: nephew to run that. Frank back, I will right now,
- 22:13Speaker 1: my favorite, my nephew Tommy, not really my nephew, but
- 22:17Speaker 1: his name is nephew Tommy. And I was trying to
- 22:18Speaker 1: explain it. Whatever, I'm on edge. We gotta for you
- 22:25Speaker 1: the truck driver exchange. Truck driver exchange. Here it is Hello, Hello,

- 25:01Speaker 1: There's some foreign exchange program y'all got going on it.
- 25:04Speaker 1: I'm not being part of this. You pulled my name

- 25:13Speaker 1: in salad out you know. No, I don't know not

- 25:19Speaker 1: I think you're gonna like it, and no, it's not
- 25:20Speaker 1: a good thing. What do you tell me it's a
- 25:22Speaker 1: good thing. I got wife and kids. But I'm what

- 26:44Speaker 1: not going my like someplace Facebook. Can I tell you
- 26:47Speaker 1: this that your salary actually doubles the six months while
- 26:51Speaker 1: you're over there. Don't try to don't try to tell
- 26:53Speaker 1: me about that South African dollars or American dollars? What
- 26:57Speaker 1: is it? What is it? You don't tell that Americans Franklin. Franklin,
- 27:04Speaker 1: it will be American dollars. I'm not going to know
- 27:07Speaker 1: South Africa. I am not going to. Matter of fact,
- 27:10Speaker 1: this is my last day in the bro y'all could
- 27:12Speaker 1: come pick up this rigging and the talking like, because

- 27:24Speaker 1: you've been into Country Company eight eight plus years and
- 27:28Speaker 1: I just gotta tell you you are obligated. You've been
- 27:31Speaker 1: chosen out of a pool. All you have to do
- 27:33Speaker 1: is six months. You're gonna get paid double. Your family's
- 27:35Speaker 1: gonna be fine. You'll be back. I ain't obligated to
- 27:38Speaker 1: do but driving truck like I do everything day, I'm
- 27:41Speaker 1: not going. You can't tell me about being obligated. Let
- 27:44Speaker 1: me tell you what I'm obligated to you. I'm obligated
- 27:47Speaker 1: that truck. I'm fourth year, and try right to your
- 27:52Speaker 1: human resources window because I ain't going to South Africa.
- 27:55Speaker 1: And I keep telling you that I told you that
- 27:57Speaker 1: since you got in the damn phone, I ain't going nowhere. Okay,
- 28:02Speaker 1: uh but but but but let me ask something. Frankly,
- 28:05Speaker 1: you've been here for what us for eight some years? Man,
- 28:08Speaker 1: you don't you don't want to continue your job here
- 28:10Speaker 1: with the company. I don't give a about this job
- 28:13Speaker 1: right now, trying to send me overseas like setting me
- 28:15Speaker 1: up from them, I ain't gonna out of fact. Let
- 28:17Speaker 1: me turn this truck on right now. I'm coming down
- 28:20Speaker 1: and see you, mister Roses out. Okay, hold on, h
- 28:25Speaker 1: do you know Jermaine, Yeah, I know Rivers, But what
- 28:30Speaker 1: do you gotta do with it. Okay, let me go
- 28:32Speaker 1: and don't say this, Frankly. This right here that you're
- 28:35Speaker 1: talking to is nephew Tommy and your boy Rivers got
- 28:39Speaker 1: me the planking phone called you. You just got pranked
- 28:42Speaker 1: by your boy Jermaine Rivers. Oh that wait till I
- 28:50Speaker 1: see River. So you ain't no roses though, And I
- 28:53Speaker 1: ain't got to go to South Africa, No got man, nothing, man,
- 29:03Speaker 1: I just listening on the roads. You want to play
- 29:07Speaker 1: a little I want to push some sugar in your trunk,
- 29:13Speaker 1: all right, Frankly, before we leave, man, tell me this,
- 29:16Speaker 1: what is the baddest radio show in the land? That
- 29:20Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show? Was that stupid enough? Yeah? You
- 29:30Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. It was enough? You know what
- 29:32Speaker 1: I'm saying. Sometimes you gott approach stupid in a different
- 29:34Speaker 1: kind of way. You know, you sneak up on stupid
- 29:36Speaker 1: and you let it out. You know what I'm saying.
- 29:38Speaker 1: You gotta sneak up on it and didn't hit it.
- 29:39Speaker 1: That's how I do. It's still signing a little aggressive
- 29:41Speaker 1: as well, because I have a good prank that I
- 29:43Speaker 1: just run. Okay, just something that comedians having. It's contagious
- 29:50Speaker 1: he gave it to me. I got it from there.
- 29:52Speaker 1: It's a tough time for games right now. Time. Wait
- 29:55Speaker 1: a minute, Junior, you got out of here? Yeah, coming
- 29:59Speaker 1: out of this. He's here. Kevin Hart is gonna talk
- 30:04Speaker 1: about his brand new movie The Upside right after this.
- 30:08Speaker 1: You're listening to show Kevin Hart. Our special guests are
- 30:15Speaker 1: very aggressive special guests this morning, and it's contagious in
- 30:19Speaker 1: the building this morning. But it's okay, Kevin. Just to
- 30:22Speaker 1: clear up a couple of things, are you apologizing anymore?
- 30:25Speaker 1: Just what I tell you, Poppy, Poppy? Right now, Pop,
- 30:33Speaker 1: I get a bald up magazine and get you right
- 30:36Speaker 1: before here. What I said, I say, I was done
- 30:39Speaker 1: with it, okay. So just to clear all of it up,
- 30:41Speaker 1: are you hosting the Oscar? Say what I say to you?
- 30:48Speaker 1: I get to switch. Seriously, though an entertainment news, Kevin,
- 30:54Speaker 1: Your movie The Upside is in theaters right now. This
- 30:57Speaker 1: is inspired by a true story, right sure is tell
- 31:00Speaker 1: us about the character Dell. So it's a story about
- 31:03Speaker 1: a quadriplegic Mayle who is very successful, very rich, very
- 31:09Speaker 1: well off, but suffered his injury doing what he loved
- 31:12Speaker 1: and after suffering an injury, kind of going into depressed state.
- 31:15Speaker 1: And being in a depressed state, I come across my
- 31:19Speaker 1: character is called Dell, and I accidentally apply for a
- 31:22Speaker 1: job that I had no idea was available. And because
- 31:24Speaker 1: I'm not what other people work and I'm not kissing
- 31:27Speaker 1: and sucking up to him the way these other people
- 31:29Speaker 1: were because of who he was in his status, he
- 31:31Speaker 1: takes a liking to me and offers me the position
- 31:35Speaker 1: of being his caretaker, and doing that, we both get
- 31:39Speaker 1: educated on each other's lives and backgrounds. We both had
- 31:43Speaker 1: a false I guess you said. We both had a
- 31:45Speaker 1: false presentation of what we thought the other person was
- 31:49Speaker 1: based off of stereotypes and based off of, you know,
- 31:53Speaker 1: knowledge that may or may not have been true. But
- 31:55Speaker 1: after we got to know one another, we really learned
- 31:58Speaker 1: about one another and learning the respect level grew and
- 32:01Speaker 1: we basically found a way to enlighten and motivate each
- 32:05Speaker 1: other and give each other a reason to look at
- 32:08Speaker 1: the upside of life. And he finds out in me.
- 32:10Speaker 1: I find that in him. But it's a it's a
- 32:12Speaker 1: dope love story between two guys that builds his friendship
- 32:15Speaker 1: that they didn't see coming. And I think it's something
- 32:17Speaker 1: that's needed today. You know, we're quick to judge, we're
- 32:20Speaker 1: quick to assume without really having an understanding of who
- 32:24Speaker 1: people really are. And in the times today, I think
- 32:26Speaker 1: that if we learn more about the people and we understand,
- 32:30Speaker 1: then we may be a little more patient and tolerant
- 32:32Speaker 1: with how people can grow and evolve. Because that's what
- 32:34Speaker 1: these two guys were in this film. And you see
- 32:36Speaker 1: what the bonus was. The bonus was an amazing friendship
- 32:40Speaker 1: that's now a lifelong thing. This is a real story.
- 32:43Speaker 1: These guys are real friends, and I love how it happened.
- 32:46Speaker 1: I love the story that's told, especially from my guy
- 32:50Speaker 1: being an ex convict and feeling like he can't get
- 32:52Speaker 1: another shot because the system won't allow him to get
- 32:55Speaker 1: high his past. Phil, who's played by Brian Caranton, he
- 32:59Speaker 1: may me understand that I shouldn't worry about the excuses
- 33:03Speaker 1: and just worry about the change. It's dope. It's really
- 33:05Speaker 1: really good man. I think people are gonna love it.
- 33:07Speaker 1: I mean already the reviews are coming in and the
- 33:09Speaker 1: people that are going to go see the movie are
- 33:10Speaker 1: just raving about it. It looks like some of your
- 33:12Speaker 1: best work yet. Serious first, serious world, Yeah, the first
- 33:16Speaker 1: time that I'm taking this approach, and you know, I
- 33:18Speaker 1: wanted to make sure that the project was right, that
- 33:20Speaker 1: I decided to give this opportunity too. And it is.
- 33:23Speaker 1: I think my audience is going to like the fact
- 33:25Speaker 1: that I'm baby stepping in this direction. Yeah, and it's uh,
- 33:28Speaker 1: it's it's just me showing the other side of talent.
- 33:30Speaker 1: And there's going to be more to come after. So
- 33:34Speaker 1: it's men bond differently than women. I mean, women to
- 33:40Speaker 1: me bond quicker. You know, we can bond over a
- 33:42Speaker 1: bag or a pair of shoes. We got we gotta
- 33:44Speaker 1: go through something a little all right, Kevin, Like, we're
- 33:48Speaker 1: not hosting the Oscar, but we might be up for
- 33:53Speaker 1: what irony and that would be so oh my god,
- 33:59Speaker 1: and that that would be all right, Kevin, Time for
- 34:03Speaker 1: today's headlines. Please introduce miss and for us, oh today's headlines.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Of course, we're talking to h miss Anne, who I
- 34:10Speaker 1: love unlike everybody else. Okay, Kevin, good morning everybody. This
- 34:17Speaker 1: is entered with the news. Well, President Trump was in
- 34:19Speaker 1: Texas and then San Diego, California yesterday to rev up
- 34:23Speaker 1: support for his five and a half billion dollars border wall.
- 34:26Speaker 1: The chief Boarder patrol agent out there says he supports
- 34:29Speaker 1: the building of new walls even though the illegal human
- 34:31Speaker 1: traffic has been greatly reduced with the wall already there.
- 34:35Speaker 1: So they say, well, why would you need the next wall. Well,
- 34:37Speaker 1: Agent Rodney Scott says that now he'd like to see
- 34:39Speaker 1: new walls further into Mexico so that his agents don't
- 34:43Speaker 1: have to chase people through dangerously rugged ravines. Meanwhile, though
- 34:47Speaker 1: some other working Americans wanted to be heard, federal work
- 34:49Speaker 1: is affected by the partial government shot down. Held a
- 34:52Speaker 1: rally yesterday in Washington. We have mortgage and rent to pay.
- 35:00Speaker 1: We have student laws to pay, we have daycare costs
- 35:03Speaker 1: to pay, we have car bills to pay. We have
- 35:06Speaker 1: all of our bills to pay, and we need our
- 35:09Speaker 1: paycheck now. By the way, today's day twenty one of
- 35:12Speaker 1: the partial governments shut down, the day that some eight
- 35:14Speaker 1: hundred thousand federal workers will miss their first paychecks. Many
- 35:18Speaker 1: have been furlough of course, without half of them are
- 35:20Speaker 1: still working for deferred Hey. The group made it clear
- 35:24Speaker 1: yesterday they blamed the president, Setate, Minority Leader Mitch McConnell,
- 35:28Speaker 1: and other Republicans for refusing to consider legislation that would
- 35:31Speaker 1: reopen the government while allowing lawmakers time to work out
- 35:34Speaker 1: a deal on board of Security. The demonstrates accused of
- 35:37Speaker 1: GOP lawmakers of quote blackmailing the American people by refusing
- 35:41Speaker 1: to reopen the government. House Republicans, meanwhile, though, are criticizing
- 35:44Speaker 1: one of their own. Some GOOP lawmakers the calling Representative
- 35:48Speaker 1: Steve King of Iowa a racist after he was quoted
- 35:52Speaker 1: in The New York Times saying, quote white nationalist, white supremacist,
- 35:57Speaker 1: Western civilization. How did that language become? I'm offensive? Well,
- 36:01Speaker 1: Wyoming Congress from Liz Cheney calls King's remarks abhorrent and racist.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Another Republican, Justice Amosh of Michigan, describes Congress from King's
- 36:09Speaker 1: remarks quote an embrace of racism and evil ideology. The
- 36:14Speaker 1: twenty four year old Houston man charged with fatal shooting
- 36:16Speaker 1: of a seven year old late young lady named Jasmine
- 36:19Speaker 1: Barnes as she wrote in the family car with her
- 36:21Speaker 1: mom and sisters, says he can't get a fair trial
- 36:23Speaker 1: in the city and he's asking for a change of
- 36:25Speaker 1: venue for his upcoming trial. Larry woodruff Is his name's
- 36:28Speaker 1: charged with capital murder in a case It was originally
- 36:30Speaker 1: thought to have been a brutal racist killing because when
- 36:32Speaker 1: the kids in the car looked up, they saw a
- 36:34Speaker 1: white man in the red truck, so that's who they
- 36:36Speaker 1: thought had been doing the shooting. Apparently he was a bystander.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Both suspects, by the way, in this case, our black
- 36:41Speaker 1: Houston comps say the suspects actually shot into Jasmine's mom's
- 36:45Speaker 1: car by mistake, hoping to shoot somebody else. The other
- 36:48Speaker 1: suspect is identified, by the way as Eric Black Junior.
- 36:52Speaker 1: The Recording Academy of America and Music mogul Clive Davis
- 36:55Speaker 1: to put on a special concert and Tyler Loretha, a
- 36:57Speaker 1: Grammy celebration for the Queen of Soul, takes place this
- 37:00Speaker 1: Sunday in Los Angeles and to be broadcast later on
- 37:03Speaker 1: this year. And you may not have known his real name,
- 37:05Speaker 1: but Carlos Sanchez, the act who played Juan Valdez and
- 37:08Speaker 1: all those Colombian coffee commercials, has died at age eighty three,
- 37:13Speaker 1: which reminds me coffee. Now back to Steve harvey Mourning Show.
- 37:18Speaker 1: You're listening to, all right, Kevin, I know you've probably
- 37:23Speaker 1: been watching the news. A lot of people, you know,
- 37:26Speaker 1: about the government shutdown. Eight hundred thousand federal workers will
- 37:30Speaker 1: not get their paychecks today, which is sad sad news.
- 37:33Speaker 1: And negotiations about the government shutdown between the Democrats and
- 37:37Speaker 1: the President and the Republicans have stalled. The President went
- 37:41Speaker 1: to the southern border yesterday and he is ready to
- 37:44Speaker 1: declare a state of emergency to get his wall built. Now,
- 37:48Speaker 1: do you guys remember when the President said that Mexico
- 37:50Speaker 1: would pay for the wall. Yeah, we'll all remember it
- 37:52Speaker 1: when he was on campaign trail. Well, now the President
- 37:56Speaker 1: is saying this. Take a listen. One of the things
- 37:59Speaker 1: that really is happening is when I say Mexico is
- 38:03Speaker 1: going to pay for the wall. That's what I said,
- 38:05Speaker 1: Mexico is going to pay. I didn't say they're gonna
- 38:07Speaker 1: write me a check for twenty billion or ten billion.
- 38:09Speaker 1: Told you're gonna write a check. They said they're gonna
- 38:11Speaker 1: pay for the wall. And if Congress approves this incredible
- 38:14Speaker 1: trade bill that we made with Mexico and Canada by
- 38:17Speaker 1: the way, but with Mexico in this case, they're paying
- 38:20Speaker 1: for the wall many many times over, really talk about backpeddling,
- 38:25Speaker 1: would he see it? No pay means writing a check
- 38:28Speaker 1: or some cash or something like that. That's what pay
- 38:30Speaker 1: usually means. But when he was campaigning, when the president
- 38:33Speaker 1: was campaigning on his website, there is a memo when
- 38:36Speaker 1: he was campaigning, and the verbage in the memo said
- 38:40Speaker 1: that Mexico will write or they will pay one time
- 38:45Speaker 1: payment for the wall to ten billion. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 38:49Speaker 1: So what's that at one time paid? Yea. And the
- 38:51Speaker 1: verbiage from the president of Mexico, what was that? You
- 38:54Speaker 1: can't even say it right, say everything that you're absolutely right?
- 38:59Speaker 1: He said, you're absolutely right. So I mean, come on,
- 39:03Speaker 1: come on, who who are you kidding with this? And
- 39:05Speaker 1: let you think gonna build this wall? What do you
- 39:09Speaker 1: mean it ain't it ain't he ain't been to Texas.
- 39:12Speaker 1: It ain't nothing. No, he must ain't being because Mexico
- 39:18Speaker 1: is down there right on the bat. So if Texas
- 39:22Speaker 1: builds wall, Mexican isn't gonna have to build. Can you
- 39:24Speaker 1: belied the water they're gonna be if they got the building.
- 39:26Speaker 1: They don't got no tunnel to get in. And if
- 39:29Speaker 1: you building the wall, they're gonna build the wall. They're
- 39:31Speaker 1: gonna have all. It's gonna be nice down there. They're
- 39:34Speaker 1: gonna have restaurants. It's gonna be shopping. It could be
- 39:37Speaker 1: a Gucci store. It's a river wall. You have a
- 39:41Speaker 1: river wall down there, that wall, Kevin, you perform it
- 39:43Speaker 1: down there at the border wall area and Kevin Hart
- 39:47Speaker 1: coming to the Walls show. I'm booking the first show.
- 39:54Speaker 1: You should ken what you're doing. Oh man, y'all know
- 39:58Speaker 1: I'm down here the wall Warman, check me out. Don't
- 40:05Speaker 1: tell I mean you can't find no work because they
- 40:07Speaker 1: had at the wall. Black people may building a wall.
- 40:11Speaker 1: You're not alone. Take it. It'd be twenty twenty two. Week,
- 40:16Speaker 1: got three bricks, hard out of here. It's too hot today.
- 40:24Speaker 1: My hair? What I gotta go buy my mama? You
- 40:31Speaker 1: ky Week Coming up in thirty four after the hour,
- 40:35Speaker 1: we're gonna have more with our special guest and family member.
- 40:37Speaker 1: We love him, starve the new movie The Upside, which
- 40:40Speaker 1: is out now. Kevin Hart. You're listening to show, all right,
- 40:47Speaker 1: Kevin Hart, our special guest this morning. We're so happy
- 40:50Speaker 1: to have you. Kevin. Yeah, Kevin has addressed all of
- 40:54Speaker 1: the Oscar drama. He did that earlier on the show,
- 40:57Speaker 1: so everyone can hear it from Kevin. His out. So Kevin,
- 41:01Speaker 1: what do you want to say about the oscars. I
- 41:03Speaker 1: just wanna say I'm over. I got it. Don't ask
- 41:06Speaker 1: me nothing, Okay, answer the questions, don't ask me about
- 41:15Speaker 1: don't nobody ask me nothing else. But you can be
- 41:17Speaker 1: here all morning, so can we. I'm gonna be here
- 41:19Speaker 1: all morning, and I'm full of these answers. I'm over, Okay,
- 41:23Speaker 1: I gotta. I got a backpocket full of I'm over.
- 41:26Speaker 1: So ask me nothing about Kevin. We can actually just
- 41:29Speaker 1: replay the Michael Strahan interview that you did, because that
- 41:33Speaker 1: could Yeah, I'm over. My credit card you can charge
- 41:38Speaker 1: it too, I'm over. I got credit cards all over
- 41:45Speaker 1: the place to say that. All right, here's something, here's
- 41:47Speaker 1: something we can't ask you about. The upside, Yes, yes
- 41:50Speaker 1: she can. Uh. Like I said, guys in theaters excited today.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Like I told you, this movie is dropping. This is
- 41:57Speaker 1: just as I believe, the biggest movie of my career
- 42:01Speaker 1: to date. This is by far my best performance in
- 42:05Speaker 1: a movie. And I credit that to my amazing actor
- 42:09Speaker 1: and actress co star Brian Cranton, the coole Kidman, who
- 42:12Speaker 1: were so gracious when we were on set of just
- 42:15Speaker 1: you know, setting Me up Man. I learned so much
- 42:17Speaker 1: from watching them, watching how they approached their day to day, um,
- 42:21Speaker 1: just just from being true thesbians. So when you get
- 42:24Speaker 1: to when you get to get some of that and
- 42:27Speaker 1: take that and put that in your pocket and and
- 42:30Speaker 1: use it and apply it, you take advantage of it.
- 42:32Speaker 1: And in this movie, I really feel like I did,
- 42:34Speaker 1: and I think the audiences are going to be blown away,
- 42:37Speaker 1: not just by the movie but by the performance. So,
- 42:39Speaker 1: like I said, this is the first step that I'm
- 42:40Speaker 1: taking in it's more dramatic direction. What made you decide
- 42:45Speaker 1: to take a role like this, to take this on,
- 42:47Speaker 1: because I feel like it's just time to show growth.
- 42:49Speaker 1: You know, I've been doing the comedy side for quite
- 42:52Speaker 1: some time and I've had a lot of success and
- 42:55Speaker 1: I'm going to continue to have more success over there,
- 42:57Speaker 1: but I want to I want to just continue to
- 43:00Speaker 1: to expand that resume. You know what I mean. Right
- 43:02Speaker 1: now when you look at it from action to action,
- 43:05Speaker 1: comedy to romances to buddy um, ensembles, um animation, I'm
- 43:13Speaker 1: really touching all all aspects and this is what I've
- 43:18Speaker 1: yet to do. So now it's time for me just
- 43:20Speaker 1: to find some more roles that could be a little
- 43:22Speaker 1: more challenging, a little more serious, so I can say
- 43:24Speaker 1: that I've done it, and just so I can be complete.
- 43:26Speaker 1: I wanted to go and being a complete circle when
- 43:29Speaker 1: it's all said and done, to say that that guy
- 43:32Speaker 1: did it all. He did everything. That's what I'm trying
- 43:34Speaker 1: to do. Wow, that's I think that's cool. How did
- 43:37Speaker 1: you prepare for the world though, Kevin? Well, you know,
- 43:39Speaker 1: I'm a I'm a talented cat. I don't like to really,
- 43:42Speaker 1: you know, I don't really like to throw that out
- 43:43Speaker 1: there too much. But I'm I'm not. I'm not. I
- 43:50Speaker 1: just think it's time to people know. Yeah, so let
- 43:54Speaker 1: me let me what's that sun? This is breaking one
- 43:59Speaker 1: of the bad cats on the tube right now. Was
- 44:03Speaker 1: there any intimidation when it was time to get with this?
- 44:09Speaker 1: There's no, There's no intimidation. There's there's excitement. You know,
- 44:13Speaker 1: when you when you're working with people like this, you're
- 44:14Speaker 1: excited because you get to you get to go toe
- 44:17Speaker 1: to toe with them, you get to you get to
- 44:19Speaker 1: lacias shoes up and approach your data same way and
- 44:23Speaker 1: more importantly, give it you all and learn, like you
- 44:26Speaker 1: get to watch from far and learn. That's what I
- 44:28Speaker 1: was excited about did you know them before or did
- 44:30Speaker 1: you just know their work? I knew Brian, I knew Brian,
- 44:34Speaker 1: I had met Nicole a couple of times, but I
- 44:36Speaker 1: wasn't as familiar with them then as I am now,
- 44:39Speaker 1: Like I can say that we're pairs, we're close, we're friends,
- 44:43Speaker 1: and I like the fact that they're good people. You know,
- 44:46Speaker 1: when we were in between takes, they didn't go to
- 44:49Speaker 1: the trailers and need to be by themselves. We stayed
- 44:52Speaker 1: on the set. We laughed, we joked around, we played,
- 44:54Speaker 1: And that's that to me, that's how good movies become
- 44:58Speaker 1: great because because of that chemistry, because of that rapport,
- 45:01Speaker 1: when you guys are okay with being around one another
- 45:04Speaker 1: for long periods of time, and that we were. Yeah,
- 45:07Speaker 1: the movie is full of good positive energy and we
- 45:09Speaker 1: need it. Go out, get up, get to the movies.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Go see it and take some of his positivity and
- 45:15Speaker 1: allow it to rub off on you so you can
- 45:18Speaker 1: then rub it off on other people. That's what our
- 45:20Speaker 1: world needs right now, positivity, not negativity. Go get something.
- 45:24Speaker 1: And did you want to say anything? You wanted to
- 45:26Speaker 1: say anything about the Oscars show? Yeah? I want you
- 45:30Speaker 1: to go to WW dot, I'm over it, and the
- 45:36Speaker 1: break phone all right after this, you're listening, coming up
- 45:43Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, right about four minutes
- 45:45Speaker 1: after Kevin, it is today's Strawberry Letters. Subject I'm all
- 45:49Speaker 1: gassed up about losing weight. Oh yes, you're saying you
- 45:52Speaker 1: got gas from Okay, we're not close. I love you
- 46:01Speaker 1: and everything, but honest, right, all right, right now, we
- 46:06Speaker 1: got another prank call when nephew Timmy always a good
- 46:09Speaker 1: time man. I love them. I know you guys do too.
- 46:12Speaker 1: Enjoy this right here, Kevin, this call cough control. You
- 46:16Speaker 1: know what I say. I said, cough control. We can't
- 46:18Speaker 1: about it. Call no, so this right here, call let
- 46:20Speaker 1: me let me break it down. What is your attitude
- 46:23Speaker 1: about we we we understand, Kevin, about I was supposed
- 46:28Speaker 1: to host the Oldest Awards. I didn't have some over there.
- 46:33Speaker 1: That's right, Oscar, But they brothers, don't worry about that
- 46:37Speaker 1: right now and the oldest ghost nobody comes to you
- 46:45Speaker 1: out right inspired this. I'm just a little congested and
- 46:52Speaker 1: a little Kevin, hello, sterily being on our nerves. Don't
- 46:58Speaker 1: inspired this prank phone called heaven because you just been coughing. Okay,
- 47:04Speaker 1: congested congested is one thing. Word on the street. What
- 47:07Speaker 1: you've been doing. That's word on the street. We're about
- 47:12Speaker 1: to get you looked at that. I'm over at Kevin,
- 47:15Speaker 1: I'm over. I'm moving on here. It is called control. Hello. Hello,

- 47:36Speaker 1: sent to us that we want to try to address
- 47:38Speaker 1: and see if we can handle this in a in
- 47:40Speaker 1: an orderly fashion. You've been over in the client services
- 47:43Speaker 1: department for what last three four years? Now almost five years? Okay, Um,
- 47:50Speaker 1: we're getting some complaints Carla about um you. I don't
- 47:55Speaker 1: know if you're sick, but you're you seem to be
- 47:58Speaker 1: coughing quite a bit, and there's people on that floor
- 48:02Speaker 1: that are starting to complain about it is. Do we
- 48:05Speaker 1: need to like give you some time off? Tell me
- 48:08Speaker 1: what's going on with you? Oh? No, no, no, no, no,
- 48:10Speaker 1: there must be a mistake. I mean I had a
- 48:12Speaker 1: cold for a couple of days, that's it. Yeah, I
- 48:17Speaker 1: can't I can't imagine. Have you had a extension cost
- 48:21Speaker 1: that's been going on longer than a week or two.
- 48:23Speaker 1: Have you been coughing a lot? I don't. I don't.
- 48:27Speaker 1: I don't count when I how many times I coughed,
- 48:30Speaker 1: you know, I don't. I don't really understand. Well, let
- 48:35Speaker 1: me let me, let me, let me tell you what
- 48:36Speaker 1: we're gonna do, because you know, you've been with a
- 48:39Speaker 1: long time, and we understand that, you know, the weather
- 48:42Speaker 1: has been bananas, and you know, we want to make
- 48:45Speaker 1: sure that everybody's accommodated. Now, what we've come up with
- 48:48Speaker 1: just to try to accommodate everybody, We're gonna move you
- 48:52Speaker 1: right now. I know you on the fourth floor, So
- 48:55Speaker 1: we're gonna move you to the seventh floor in the
- 48:58Speaker 1: next and the next couple of weeks, where you know
- 49:00Speaker 1: there's that's kind of where um, it's kind of like
- 49:04Speaker 1: an area where there's more coughing people up there. No, no, no, no, no,
- 49:08Speaker 1: no no, no, that won't be necessary. I'm I'm feeling
- 49:11Speaker 1: much better. I've been at the same spot the entire
- 49:15Speaker 1: time I've been with the company. I don't need to
- 49:17Speaker 1: be moved to the seventh floor. I don't need to
- 49:19Speaker 1: be moved for any health reasons. I'm doing fine, I'm good.
- 49:23Speaker 1: You don't have to worry it about that. Hey, hey,
- 49:26Speaker 1: let's slow down a minute, carlin um. And I understand
- 49:30Speaker 1: where you're coming from. I know what. You don't want
- 49:32Speaker 1: to be moved because you've been there and you're probably
- 49:33Speaker 1: comfortable where you are. But they're asking that you wear
- 49:38Speaker 1: one of the uh, you know, surgical mask for two
- 49:41Speaker 1: weeks until we get you up to the to the
- 49:43Speaker 1: next Wait, you got you guys can't just move men?
- 49:47Speaker 1: Are you gonna just move me without asking me my
- 49:49Speaker 1: side of the story. Well, you're coughing out of control,
- 49:53Speaker 1: you know you got Well listen to me, you got
- 49:55Speaker 1: you know there's people and I complaining about Well, it
- 50:01Speaker 1: must be the people that are actually right around you.
- 50:04Speaker 1: I mean, I'm hearing she's spreading zernes. They think you
- 50:07Speaker 1: have the flu. But some people are saying it's disgusting
- 50:10Speaker 1: you keep coughing and coughing, which was not that doesn't
- 50:14Speaker 1: last for months. Like, I'm good, I'm all set. I
- 50:17Speaker 1: had a little cold, but not enough to be more
- 50:20Speaker 1: than me. Okay, Well, let me tell you what it's doing.
- 50:23Speaker 1: It's it's creating a real hostile environment is what it's doing.
- 50:29Speaker 1: No one said anything said maybe a god bless you
- 50:32Speaker 1: once and when I sneeze, I don't understand why when
- 50:34Speaker 1: we take this human resources. Are you saying, you guys
- 50:38Speaker 1: want me to wear a mask as a tomorrow starting tomorrow, tomorrow,
- 50:44Speaker 1: it'll be we'll have that at your cubicle tomorrow. No,
- 50:48Speaker 1: that's not you. You guys can't just have me wearing
- 50:51Speaker 1: a mask the night before. I've never said it's a
- 50:56Speaker 1: it's a it's a surgical man. You'll wear that for
- 50:58Speaker 1: two weeks until till I can get you upstairs to
- 51:01Speaker 1: where that's the coughing floor. We'll have you up there
- 51:04Speaker 1: when people are coughing and nobody's gonna be complaining about you.
- 51:06Speaker 1: That doesn't sound very hygienic to me. You're gonna put
- 51:09Speaker 1: it's not it's but it's not hygienic of what's going
- 51:12Speaker 1: on on your floor, your coffee and the people are
- 51:15Speaker 1: going playing. Let me tell you something right now, I'm
- 51:17Speaker 1: gonna appeal this decision. I'm not going to those seventh floor.
- 51:21Speaker 1: I'm not wearing a mask. I feel good. If you
- 51:23Speaker 1: guys want some health records, I can provide that for you.
- 51:26Speaker 1: But shul ain't gonna have me moving an accent looking
- 51:28Speaker 1: crazy just because somebody said I don't like that I cough.
- 51:31Speaker 1: We all cough in the winter. Okay, Carla, let's let's
- 51:34Speaker 1: let's let's slow down. Okay. I want to try to
- 51:37Speaker 1: help use. I want to help me to slow down.
- 51:39Speaker 1: But you're one talking about moving me, making me wear
- 51:42Speaker 1: a mask on in the in the morning. Like that's
- 51:44Speaker 1: not right. No, No, that's okay, Carla. If you can't
- 51:47Speaker 1: put the mask on tomorrow, I'm gonna have to ask
- 51:50Speaker 1: you to not come in tomorrow. Now that decision is
- 51:53Speaker 1: up to you. No, that decision is not up to me,
- 51:55Speaker 1: because I want to appeal the decision for you. Who
- 51:58Speaker 1: else can I talk to? Because this, this is this
- 52:00Speaker 1: conversation is not this. We'll have this meeting next week.
- 52:04Speaker 1: I will let you know when it is, but you
- 52:06Speaker 1: can't come in until we have the meeting at this point,
- 52:08Speaker 1: all right? Oh, so, am I gonna get paid days off?
- 52:12Speaker 1: You're not getting pay days off? You can come out.
- 52:15Speaker 1: I can't talk to you anymore. You're not talking to
- 52:17Speaker 1: the surgical mask and not thinking any sense. I can't
- 52:20Speaker 1: talk to you, all right, you can piss me off.
- 52:22Speaker 1: This is not right. None of this sounds legal right now.
- 52:25Speaker 1: I need to talk to somebody else because because I
- 52:28Speaker 1: can't right now. Do you want to wear the surgical
- 52:32Speaker 1: that is the way I'm going to allow you to
- 52:34Speaker 1: work tomorrow. No, I'm not wearing the mask. Stop talking
- 52:38Speaker 1: to me about a mask. I'm not sick. Well i'll
- 52:40Speaker 1: do tomorrows. I'm gonna go talk with them boy and
- 52:43Speaker 1: my doctor and give y'all, give y'all something else to
- 52:45Speaker 1: think about. Okay, Well, here's what we'll do. I will
- 52:48Speaker 1: schedule you of meeting at eleven o'clock. It looks like
- 52:51Speaker 1: we have something available on Wednesday of next week. No, no, no,
- 52:55Speaker 1: no problem. Listen, you keep your damn meeting. You're the meeting.
- 52:58Speaker 1: Will have it with the lawyer because I'm sure this

- 53:04Speaker 1: Would you like our lawyer to call your lawyer. I'm
- 53:07Speaker 1: getting off the phone with you. I need to go

- 53:15Speaker 1: would you like to know who's complaining about you? Yeah?
- 53:18Speaker 1: A matter of fact, I would like to know. I
- 53:20Speaker 1: want to know exactly what complaining about me? Okay, Tommy
- 53:24Speaker 1: is the one that's saying that you're calling all over
- 53:27Speaker 1: the place. You don't put your hand over your loud
- 53:29Speaker 1: hear you. Who'd you say, Tommy? There's no Tommy on
- 53:33Speaker 1: my floor. You have the wrong person, Like, no, I don't.
- 53:37Speaker 1: That's not complaining about you. Tommy is the one that
- 53:42Speaker 1: it's you that doesn't make any sense because there is
- 53:45Speaker 1: no Tommy on my floor. I don't even know a Tommy.
- 53:48Speaker 1: Do you know a nephew Tommy from Steve Harvey Morning Show?
- 53:52Speaker 1: Do you know him? Oh? My law calla you just
- 53:59Speaker 1: got prank by your co worker the veto baby. Oh
- 54:05Speaker 1: my god, I'm sitting here for having hot flashes stressed
- 54:11Speaker 1: out about the fly and look on the internet for
- 54:14Speaker 1: a lawyer. I can't. Oh my god, oh my god,
- 54:21Speaker 1: Like I'm mad at you. Why do you gotta take
- 54:24Speaker 1: it that far? Though you went so far? You gotta

- 54:32Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land. Listen, it's the
- 54:37Speaker 1: Steve Harvey's on his show, that's for sure. The seventh Flowers.
- 54:48Speaker 1: You got to go to the seventh Flowers. You can't
- 54:49Speaker 1: beat out here with us that you're on the coffin flow.

- 54:56Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew. All right, up next, it's the Strawberry Letters.

- 55:02Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steven Show. All right, guys, it
- 55:07Speaker 1: is time now for today's Strawberry Letter, and let me

- 55:24Speaker 1: I'm ready. I'm here, I'm locked in and I'm over it.
- 55:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna try and get through this today. I've been
- 55:30Speaker 1: struggling all week. All right, let's go bugle up a
- 55:34Speaker 1: hole on tight. We got it for you. It is
- 55:35Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter. All right, submit your letter. We could
- 55:38Speaker 1: be reading yours live on the air, just like this one.
- 55:41Speaker 1: Subject I'm all gassed up about losing weight. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 55:46Speaker 1: My husband and I have been married for a year now,
- 55:49Speaker 1: and since then we have both gained a considerable amount
- 55:52Speaker 1: of weight. I've gained at least forty pounds, which is
- 55:56Speaker 1: totally unacceptable for me. This extra weight has caused me
- 55:59Speaker 1: to have extreme self esteem issues, so I've changed my
- 56:04Speaker 1: eating habits. I go to the gym more, and I
- 56:06Speaker 1: started making an herbal supplement that my trainer recommended to
- 56:10Speaker 1: increase my stamina and burn fat. The supplement gives me
- 56:15Speaker 1: so much energy and I'm able to do way more
- 56:18Speaker 1: reps at the gym than ever before. I can also
- 56:21Speaker 1: see a few pounds dropping, so I need to keep
- 56:23Speaker 1: using them. But there's one big problem with the herbal
- 56:28Speaker 1: supplements dot dot dot. They give me gas, yes, really
- 56:36Speaker 1: bad gas, and it only comes at night when I'm asleep.
- 56:40Speaker 1: I got so bad the other night that my husband
- 56:43Speaker 1: jumped up out of the bed because it's scared. That's
- 56:47Speaker 1: bad right there exploded. Of course, my husband complains about
- 56:54Speaker 1: the smells and finally gave me an ultimatum. He said
- 56:57Speaker 1: that if I don't stop taking the supplements, I will
- 56:59Speaker 1: be sleeping alone. He already started sleeping on the couch,
- 57:02Speaker 1: and I think that he is being utterly selfish. I
- 57:05Speaker 1: cannot control the gas. If I'm sleep and I don't
- 57:08Speaker 1: think it's so bad that he can't deal with it
- 57:11Speaker 1: a little bit longer. I want to get this weight off,
- 57:13Speaker 1: but we are still newly weds, and I don't like
- 57:15Speaker 1: sleeping alone. Do you think my husband is being inconsiderate
- 57:19Speaker 1: or do you think I should stop taking the supplements?
- 57:22Speaker 1: I cannot stand sleeping without my husband next to me.
- 57:24Speaker 1: Please help? All right, all right, here's the thing. No,
- 57:28Speaker 1: your husband's not being inconsiderate. You have to stop taking
- 57:31Speaker 1: these supplements immediately. This is not sexy. You're a newly wed, Okay,
- 57:36Speaker 1: you guys have just gotten married. You don't want to
- 57:39Speaker 1: run him out of the bedroom in the first year.
- 57:41Speaker 1: Come off, and what are you doing. You gotta find
- 57:44Speaker 1: something else. You have to find something else. I'm sorry.
- 57:47Speaker 1: And forty pounds is a lot of weight to gain
- 57:49Speaker 1: in a year. So you got your health to consider.
- 57:52Speaker 1: But keep eating properly, keep going to the gym, keep
- 57:56Speaker 1: doing all those things, but stop taking those supplements. That
- 58:01Speaker 1: is gonna kill your marriage. Yeah, you want to sleep
- 58:03Speaker 1: with your husband, that's what it's all about. Especially you
- 58:06Speaker 1: know when you're a newly wed and everything. This is
- 58:08Speaker 1: not good. It's not sexy at all. Stop it immediately,
- 58:14Speaker 1: he can find something else. He said, it scared him
- 58:17Speaker 1: that it is not good, all right, all right, so
- 58:21Speaker 1: please take fresh literally, Yes, scared him. Yeah, it's scared him.
- 58:26Speaker 1: Build it up when it came out. Slosh, this is
- 58:29Speaker 1: not good. You're gonna have to change some things and
- 58:31Speaker 1: start immediately with those supplements. Kevin, I'm as with you.
- 58:35Speaker 1: I'm disgusted. I don't even really feel like comment. This
- 58:43Speaker 1: isn't good for my spirit. I'm in a place where
- 58:48Speaker 1: I'm trying to be positive and not negative and dealing
- 58:53Speaker 1: with a person that knows that they've become a gassy
- 58:57Speaker 1: bandy still that's it's okay with it and asking for advice?
- 59:01Speaker 1: What advice you need? What? What? Tell me? What? What?
- 59:05Speaker 1: What are you looking for? We know the issue here,
- 59:08Speaker 1: You know the issue. Stop taking the mess and get
- 59:11Speaker 1: your nasty behind out the bed until you figure it out.
- 59:14Speaker 1: You're sitting in here blowing this man back loose and
- 59:18Speaker 1: not the proper way. You're doing it the proper ways,
- 59:22Speaker 1: blowing this back and loose. You might be busting out
- 59:26Speaker 1: the band though all through the night. Let me tell
- 59:28Speaker 1: you something. This moment in the middle of night where
- 59:30Speaker 1: you may get cold, and your first thing that you
- 59:33Speaker 1: do is take the covers and throw the covers over
- 59:35Speaker 1: your head. If you're dealing with old Pooh, but Patty
- 59:37Speaker 1: and poop, but Patty be doing what she wants, that's
- 59:40Speaker 1: a that's a difficult situation for everybody in that household, man,
- 59:43Speaker 1: because I can't even be comfortable in the bed. This
- 59:45Speaker 1: is this is this is divorce like material, this is
- 59:50Speaker 1: this is, this is it. It's time for you to
- 59:51Speaker 1: move on you if, if, if this is what it
- 59:55Speaker 1: takes for you to lose weight, then maybe I need
- 59:57Speaker 1: to accept the new you. Maybe I need to accept
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: the new you. Hello, if this is what you are
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: going to do and the process of getting to a
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: place that you feel you want to be health wise,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: maybe maybe it ain't about being healthy for us. Maybe
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: maybe maybe we should be on that other road and
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: just enjoy that. But this isn't fair, This is not
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: this is not looking at your partner and understanding your
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: partner's feelings. Ain't no where in hell, ain't no whe
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: in hell. I would deal with it. I don't know
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: about Joe. I don't know anyone who would deal with this,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: And I mean her attitude about it. Her attitude is
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: like he's being inconsiderate. No, you're being inconsiderate. Nobody wants
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: to deal with this, no one. This is not cute persistent.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: You're talking about consistently busting your head. Let me say,
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: you're talking about back the backs. You're not talking about
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: one offs. You're not talking about a oops and laugh.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: You're talking about repetitive behavior. This is this is. I
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: get mad at Zoe, when Zoe, when Zoe get the
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: fire and off the baby, my baby. I get mad
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: at the baby. But I thought, that's why I'm telling you.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: How man I will be in an delt if they
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: were doing the same thing, this baby, the baby. I
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: told him the other day, I said, maybe it's time
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: for you to change these foods. You didn't give him this,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: this organic mess. Maybe that's not for you. Maybe maybe
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: I got to throw this other stuff in your system
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: to your little stomach to handle it better. Because this
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: ain't right. Yeah, this ain't right. This is how you
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: talk to you. My son smelled like a grown man.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: Is he talking now, Kevin? They say he's saying a
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: couple of things, some stuff together. What he can't say
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: is stink. I can't say that. What he can't say
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: it's stink. I can say that, that's stink. Stink. Son,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: you go, you go in that other one. Baby can walk,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: he's number one, walking all over the house. Just let
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: me go. But what are these what are in these supplements?
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: What's in here? I don't want crazy, I don't, I don't. Yes,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: you gotta get this, and you gotta hit this in
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: your sleep, so you don't hit it because she's asleep,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: like she said, she doesn't think he's being fair because
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: she doesn't know and she's asleep. But if that blow
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: a man out out, but it didn't only blow him out,
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: it scared him. Shot y, get the pistol. What the
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: piston come when you hear get a shotgun? They outside?
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: All right, listen, we're gonna have virtue of our response
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: to the Strubberry letter. We got to hear from Junior.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: We got to hear from the next year of the
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: subject I'm all gas, stop about losing weight. We'll be
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: back at twenty three after the hour. Right after this,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: you're listening Steve Harping Morning Show, Kevin Nephew, Junior, Let's
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: recap today's strawberry letter. Here we go, subject I'm all
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: gassed up about losing weight. A woman wrote this letter.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: She and her husband have been married for about a
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: year now, so they're newlyweds. And you know, during that time,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: that blissful time, you know, you're eating, you're chilling, you're loving.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: You might gain a few pounds. In her case, she's
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: gained forty pounds. It's unacceptable to her, she says, so um.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: She you know, she has self esteem issues now, so
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: she wants to get the weight off. She's gotten a trainer,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: she goes to the gym. She's changed her eating habits,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: and she started taking this herbal supplement that she got
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: from her trainer, and she says it gives her more energy.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: She can do more reps in the gym and all that,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: and she's seeing the pounds start coming off. But the
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: problem is at night, when she's sleeping in bed with
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: her husband, she has terrible indigestion and gas and it's
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: blowing him up. He's he's scared. He doesn't want to
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: sleep with her anymore, and he's given her an ultimatum,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: Ei either stop taking the supplements or you sleep by yourself.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: She doesn't want to sleep by herself. She's a little
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: upset with her husband. She thinks he's being inconsiderate. She
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: doesn't like the fact that he gave her an ultimatum.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: She wants to know what should she do because she
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: can't stand sleeping without her husband. All Right, we heard
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: from me, we heard from Kevin. I think we're both
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: on the same page with this. This isn't sexy. Stop
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: taking the supplements. I mean, this is an easy fix.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: I think. All right, Junior, what's your guy? I'm rich.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: I see something different here. I don't believe it's the supplement. Oh,
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: because I take herbal supple too. I've never done this. Okay,
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: one year equals forty pounds. That means what have y'all
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: been eating? Because what is the prop yea que? Because
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: what do you happen? I'll tell you what it is.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: It's that the herbal suf You know what it is.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: It's them turkey. Next, she's been fine. Yeah, y'all have
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: been gathering. You're gathering forty pounds a year. More people
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: don't twenty in a year. Funny, y'all been doing some
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: eat it's just ham hockey, but eat that hamhock. You
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: had one of them that will feel you gotta gass yep, Okay,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: hark head cheese, you ever headed that this year? They
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: eating this that gave you gass. Pig feet give you gass.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: She's even wrong. Yeah, all of that give you gass.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: It's not a herbal supplement. Okay, can you take herb
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: uh No. I don't what you're looking at as a
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: natural gift from guy you heard he runs with heart.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't take stuff. I don't know.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: I just never I never went down that path, not
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: to knock anybody that does. I just believe that you
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: can do it. You know, you can do it without.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: But I know that some people just wanted to use
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: it as added motivation. But I don't. I don't do it.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: And I like to be able to control my gas
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: bottom line. Yeah. Yeah, I like to know when it's
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: coming and actually be able to hold it. Every one,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: you know, let me go and stand in this corner
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: and get rid of this and then come back in
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: the bed, or let me let me baby, let me
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: right back. I'm gonna get some water from the flat. Yeah,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: I don't. I don't like the fact that this woman
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: has no control over what's happening. Yeah, this is that's
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: a different situation for me. And she'd at her husband
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: about it though, calling him and considerate. All right, nephew,
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: what you got? I think we're missing something. He always
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: says that Jia said it was the food. Yeah, but
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: I don't think we're looking at the I hate to
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: say that the upside. Last side, you know, you know,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: let's profit off this gass says, you understand what I'm saying.
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: Let's profit off this gas. Do you know how many
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: people that work for bpeter are listening right now that
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: could would like to get this gas? It's on Texico? Kay,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: all these people can utilize this gas from that. Yes,
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: you can do that. Now, I'm gonna tell you, I'm
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: gonna be out the environment thing. Yes, yes. Why do

- 1:07:18Speaker 1: You can get somebody from La the Atlanta one way
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: you could do that. You know the costing for plane gas?

- 1:10:33Speaker 1: in this acting game. More importantly, you're gonna love the message. Man.
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: Walk away from this movie with the good feeling. Feeling
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: that good positive feeling, man, that's what I like. I
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: like the fact that this is a movie with a purpose,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: as a movie with an amazing story, a true story,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: and one that people can relate and just gravitate too.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: So make sure you go see it today. It's in
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: theaters today. Get up, get out and go, go, go, go, go,
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: go and go see. Let's make it number one. Yes,
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: that's what I want to see. Yeah, let's make this
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: number one. Come on, we can do it. We can
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: do it, all right, Kevin, So you're here, so it's
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: time to have some real fun with you. Okay. I
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: know we start off your little aggressive and all that,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: but yeah, you're aggressive. You're aggressive right now. Agive and nothing.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: But it's like you're anticipating us to say, you to
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: tell me what this is? May you? This is Mayweather aggressive?
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: Who are you? Who are you to tell me what
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: I am? But you ain't been with me all morning?
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: Have you did? You? Were you with me in the car?
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: You don't know what I am? Kevin, we've been with
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: you pretty much all morning. Who are you? Who do
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: you think you are? That's my question? Think you want
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: to ask him something about it? You're trying to ask you?
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: Ask me then and we might all right, it's time
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: for rapid fire questions. We're gonna play that with Kevin.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: Tell me you go first. I'm gonna jump it off.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: I don't jump it off all. I can't hit it.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: If you could be an animal, what would it be?
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: And why? If I could be animal, would have been? Why? Uh?
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: It'll probably be a ferret, just because I think ferret
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: got cool teeth. Ferret. I want to be a ferret
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: like that. When I eat steak sometimes it takes me
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: a long time. Ferret, if you get through that steak fast,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: because because a faretre amazing son, I'm gonna go with
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: a fair Come on, Carla, next question. All right, Kevin,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: describe yourself in three words. In three words, uh, petite,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: um loving and charismatic loving charismatic, petite loving, charismatic man.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: That's how it just for political office, all right? Come on, Junior,
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: what you got? All right? All right, Keith? If you
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: were stranded on the tropical island, what two things would
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: you want with me? This is an easy one, my
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: whoopee cushion because that makes me laugh. I don't know
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: why whoopee cushions are for ever funny um, you know.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: And I feel like if you buy yourself, the one
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: thing that you don't want to lose is your humor.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: So a good whoope cushion joke is gonna come in handy.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: And the other thing that I would have to take
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: would be, um, a frisbee, because if you buy yourself
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: you have to play games. That's gonna keep you busy.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: You can you can keep throwing it and go on
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: to the other side of catching it and talk to
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: yourself on the other side, like you better get this one.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: This is gonna be a good throw you know this.
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: And just I just feel like that your answers are
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: way too long. How I vetted out who are you
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: to tell interview? Tell me, tell me, tell me who
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: you are? Why? Why? Why? Folk? Can't my answers be why?
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: Come on? Boy? And they're crazy? Mister Ferrett Man. All right, Kevin,
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: here's one. What's the first thing you do when you
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: get up in the morning. Oh, oh, that's easy. I
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: take a warm towel and put it on my toilet seat. Yeah.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: I like to basically warm the toilet seats up. Uh,
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: differently than what technology does. Warm towel gives you a
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: more comfort sit So that's the first thing I do.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: Why wouldn't you buy a heated tarlet because you got money?
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: Who are you to tell me? Who you how should
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: be spending my money? I don't know my budget. You
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: don't know I don't know where my monthly breakdowns are.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: You don't know the expenses that go into I had.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: I had seven of those electrical toilets that go up
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: and down all night. And you know what they do
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: to do it all night? Be in the middle of
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: the night and the toilet just starts lifting up, And
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: you think somebody in the house. True story, true story.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: You think people in the house because they got a
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: mind of the own. I got rid of them. So
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: now we just put towels on the seat to tell
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: me about what I'm gonna do with you got another question? Question? Listen, now,
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: don't you got deceits because you got money? You know
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: what I got? I got? Tell me what they got.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: Here's the next question. What is the lowest grade you
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: haven't ever been given? And what class was it for? Well,
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: it wasn't a grade. It was a conversation of should
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: I be in this particular grade whole grade? They wanted
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: the basic at the test score that I handed. They
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: wanted to drop me the whole level because they said,
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: there's no way, there's no way that I could have
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: passed a year before and not know the information that
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: I got. As the sad part, as I tried, I tried,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: tried your best, they didn't even like, you know, when
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: they handed they give one person the test and they
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: pass some back. They took mine out the group and
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: they called me. I'm saying, They said, Kevin, come out,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: come out in the hallway, And I was like why,
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: They said, because you don't want nobody else to see
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: this score. All right, let's go rapping fire. Here we go. Kevin,
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: if you could change one thing about your looks? What
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: would it be not? I knew he was gonna say that.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: That's a great answer. I'm a dom Why would I
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: change that? I thought you didn't like your feet? Well, no,
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: don't you know what you like? Tell y'all, I brought
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: new feet. Oh that's where that seat money went. I
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: dropped seven million on some feet. And granted they're not
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: my complexion lights, but the mind. You understand the concept
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: of wrapping fire? What are you talking about? That's my answer?
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: And who are you to tell me? How do I
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: understand the concept of a game? You don't know what
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: I processed? And I kick you with this. Listen, Kevin
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: Nartist here in case coming up at the top of
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: the hour, Kevin is gonna talk football. He's gonna talk
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: about those Eagles on how about those Eagles? keV? Heye,
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: he goes right after this. You're listening. Here we go,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: Kevin's here. We gotta talk football. Yeah, we have to
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: talk from football, even though we're Houston in here and
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: we're not playing normal to now, we're not playing you ever,
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: not playing keV Oh. I mean, listen, first of all,
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: so I'm fortunate what happened he are. Hey, hey, even
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: got to say that. Well, I want to let you
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: guys know you're a good program and your future is bright.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: Everybody can't fly like an eagle. Here we go. What
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: I'm saying is, understand what you're witnessing. People. You're witnessing
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: the story of underdogs about to be repeated again. Yes,
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: the Eagles last share. We won the Super Bowl by
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: being an underdog. Okay, we weren't supposed to do. We
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: dig because we had a backup quarterback and we did it.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: And yet this backup quarterback gets to put together a
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: story that has never been told before by being a
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: backup and coming in again and having to clean up
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: the same thing to be cleaned up the year before.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: This is Nick Foles writing history for himself. This is
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Nick Foles becoming a Hall of Famer. Trust me when
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: I tell you we will shock New Orleans, and when
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: we do, I best believe we're getting to the super Bowl.
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: You're supposed to die at Carlin because you don't have
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: a team to watch, so that's what you have to do.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: But from New Orleans, you know you're going listen. I'm
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: not going to diet that the Saints are an amazing
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: football team and Drew brees is have an amazing football season.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: But what they aren't. They're not expect the Eagles to
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: come in with the mentor that we are we on
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: to hide. You're on the five game win street, you're
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: closing out the season strong, and you're closing it out
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: with Nick Foles feeling like he's getting a job done.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: Walking into another stadium with that feeling and that understanding
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: is what gets the job done. We are Philadelphia. We
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: do man expect you know you can't stand up to
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: the occasion. Let me tell you this. Kevin Steve Harvey,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: your friend, your mentor. He's just happy that the Cleveland
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: Browns won seven games, okay bowl heat in his heart
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: they won. He don't know what to do it himself.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: He write what to do with himself. I saw him
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: with a with a Cleveland Browns jacket on, and I
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: just didn't even speak to him. You're just taking his
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: way too far. But what we are going to embrace
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: is how Philadelphia is shining. If he shine bright like
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: a diamond Philadelphia, hey gee, he he goes okay there,
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: go to the game, to the game because I'm working. Okay,
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: If I could go to the game, I would, but
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: guess what I got. I got a movie coming out
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: that's spreading positivity. So while I'm spreading this positivity, I'm
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: gonna watch the football game and take some of that
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: energy and throw it over to the Eagles so they
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: can get the job done. And then I can take
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: that energy apply it back to my promo tour and
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: get other people to get inspired and go see my
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: movie and chair for my team at the same time,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: when when everybody's happening scene all right, he's back at
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: his team. So this is going to be in the
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: super Bowl, though, Cay who you got in the pages again?
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: Part two? You think? So you're just like the Chargers.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: Ain't gonna do nothing to them. You already got the sweet.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: I already booked a sweet for the Super Bowl in
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: Atlanta for Yeah, I'm already gonna there. I already said, guys,
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: get my same suite. I already called security to make
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: sure that what happened last year doesn't happen again. To
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: go through the proper channels and I watch, I watch
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: how much I drink so I remember what to do
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: that TV that was a great place. Cussford though, I
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: tell you that. But listen, when I cussed on TV,
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: I tell you I've never I literally I know I'm small.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: I know I'm a small man. I have never felt
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: like a child in my life until I saw myself
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: on TV. Go oops and cover my mouth like I
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: got caught doing something bad by my mom, right right right.
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: I turned around, put my hands in the air, and
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: I believe my friend Wayne helped me down. Somebody helped
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: me down off the stage by grabbing me under my arms.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: Sander's face. Get out of here, Yeah, come on, get
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: out of here, brother get He just looked at me
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: with disgust. Get out of here, brother Jesus, Come on,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: Come on, Kevin, he said, come on, Kevin, I said,
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: you're gonna judge me, So who are you to judge me? Dan?
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: Are you all of a sudden you missed the perfect
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: missed the perfect man. I started doing the shutt when
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: I got down. I think I did the Dion shuffle
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: down here. God, I'm gonna do the same thing this year.
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: I promise you we'll be back in the super Bowl.
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: Expect me to be at the same place. Well, I'm
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: rooting for you, Kevin. I'm not rooting for the Patriots.

- 1:23:21Speaker 1: Rams will get the cowboys, La Rams, And we know
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: you're gonna take the Patriots over the charge, Patriots over
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: the charges on Eagles over the Saints, and after that

- 1:26:43Speaker 1: Can we talk about these Christmas gifts that you gave
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: your plastic couple? Yeah? I got them all cars as
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: tour gifts. They excuse me, I got them all cars.
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: You know, my guys, automobiles, automobiles like Hot will. I'm
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: I'm an old school card junkie, and they always, you know,
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: comment on my cars because I just love I love cars,
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: so people don't know that about me, but I love
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: to drive on the home. So my guys are always like, Dude,
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: this car's dad or this one's dad. keV Oh my god,
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: that looks good. So I just picked their brain for
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: months about that they could have an old school what
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: they want, and I got the information and I went out.
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: I found all the cards that they talked about, and

- 1:33:13Speaker 1: when you have a good time. That's right, that's it's
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: called having a good time. People have a good time
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: in any and everything that you do. Okay, don't don't don't,
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: don't not embrace the opportunities to have a good time,
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: have a good time. Positivity over negativity. Everything else comes
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: in third, fourth and fifth. Just did broke that down.
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: I'm thinking about becoming a motivational speaker. That's the next
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: goal to the summer. You know, you get qualified over something. Yes,
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: I'm already going to go get my license. All you
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: gotta do. You gotta just do some stuff when you
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: get people to like do cool stuff that you think
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: that you can get him to do this. It's easy,
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: The test is easy. But I'm gonna do it. I
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: think we really become more okay because of what you
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: just with really deep motivate. Come on, let's track and
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: the morning you wake up, you got two choices. Put
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: your feet on the ground or put your back on
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: the bed. One is productive. One is not my choice
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: is making the right one. Come wown movie. It's called
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: The Upside. It's out in theaters today. Go ahead and
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: get your tickets. Do it this morning while you're listening.
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: Please do what's happened the morning? Do it this morning.
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: If I jump all over you like a spider monkey chick,
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: I love it night. I'm I'm a jacked up on
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: mountain dude. You're gonna let him talk to me like that? Yeah, yeah,

- 1:35:12Speaker 1: our goal for this weekend. Yeah, Grants and the cool
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: kidming myself. The movie doesn't disappoint, Get up, get out
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: and go see it. Houston, I'll see you tomorrow, Pencil Cola, Florida.
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: I'll see a Sunday. Your responsible tour will be in
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: in in in the wraps. That's it, man, it's over. Yeah.
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: I think we have a couple more minutes. We can
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: ask you, we can finish up our Yeah, ask me?
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: Are you gonna ask me? Wasn't that new chicken rat? No?
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: Crazy food? Here's one, Kevin. What's the last thing that
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: you liked on social media? Now? I like that? That's sweet? Ye?
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: Wait what you limited you like anything? I don't like
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: nothing else scoring Instagram? I don see nothing else on Instagram.
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: We got you, we got you? Yeah? What keV? What
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: is your best man, your best childhood memory? What's what
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: is that? My best childhood memory? Oh? Man, let me
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: think about it. My best childhood memory, I would probably say.
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: I probably say my best childhood memory is, uh is
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: when my dad took me. He took me crabbing. We
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: went crabbing, and when he took me crabbing, he was like, hey, Kevi,
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: you don't know what you're doing, so let me teach
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: you how to do it. You know, he was taking
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: his time and try to really break down the process
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: to crabbing. So he's like, you take the bread. You
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: gotta put the bread in the cage. Then you dropped
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: the cage down and give him some time down there
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: so the crabs can settle in. He's like to pick
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: it up for a long time, and I was like,
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: all right, and I did it. I put the bread
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: in there and I dropped the cage down. I was like, Dad,
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: I want to pick it up. He's like, it ain't
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: time yet. I was like, na, let me pick it up, Dad,
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: I feel like it's time. He's like, no, it ain't
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: time yet. Left the crab settling in his son and
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: I just picked it up anyway. It was like thirty
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: crabs at this about something? Ain't this about something? All
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: this time. I ain't caught dead crab about it. Never
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: caught a crab about it. That's my favorite childhood memory.
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: I love with my dad and crab. And that's a
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: true story. I love it all right, key, Oh, I
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: got okay, I got it down. Um, I don't I
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: don't like. I don't like. I don't like people to
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: smack their food, punch you in the face, punch you
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: dead in your face. I don't like that. And and
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: I don't like it when women take like a utensu
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: or a pin for the end of a comb and
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: scratch their head. Sound like meek Mill. He doesn't like
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: lace rum wigs. Well, that's understandable. I know what he's saying.
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: What is he saying? Kevin? All right, I got one
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: cab ahead, all right? What chores do you hate doing?
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: What chores? What chores you said? Did you talk about
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: when I was younger? You don't do chores now? You
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: don't take out the garbage. No, I'm not gonna sound
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: like a Michael sound like a jerky if I say
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know what what are they? What
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: are you talking about? Okay, so let's take it back
- 1:38:37Speaker 1: back in the day. What chores did you hate? Or? Oh? Okay, okay,
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: all right, I got you now, all right, I'm on
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: the same page. I wasn't big with the whole dishes thing. Um,
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: I'm watching me. Yeah, I don't reason why because we
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: would leave a dish in the singing and that dish
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: might be that might have been in there for like week,
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: because my mom didn't see it. She get mad. My
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: brother was notorious for leaving plates under his bed, like
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: trying to sneak food late at night, so then when
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: you finally got to it, it'd be hard catch up
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: and peanut butter and stuff, and who knows he was
- 1:39:08Speaker 1: on that plate. She'll make me clean because my brother
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: would always say it was me, so that kind of
- 1:39:13Speaker 1: turned me off against dishes. My brother was me, my brother.
- 1:39:17Speaker 1: My brother made me pick up My brother made me
- 1:39:19Speaker 1: pick up a dead mouse one time in the house.
- 1:39:21Speaker 1: True story. He said, pick it up for I punch
- 1:39:23Speaker 1: you in a fig. Come on, man, don't make me
- 1:39:26Speaker 1: do this. Don't make me do this, he said, do it,
- 1:39:29Speaker 1: pick it up, put it into trash. Kevin, we just
- 1:39:33Speaker 1: have a few seconds left. We want to just say
- 1:39:35Speaker 1: thank you so much for you know, we love here again. Yeah,
- 1:39:39Speaker 1: we went to upside and theaters today. Ain't gonna shit it. Also,
