- 0:03Speaker 1: Y'all know what time y'all don't know y'all back a
- 0:09Speaker 1: suit on, looking back to back down, giving them more
- 0:15Speaker 1: like theming buck bus things. And it's true. Could it
- 0:20Speaker 1: be Steve has listening to movie together for Stu Bar Please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join ya joining me. You gotta turn you,
- 1:24Speaker 1: you gotta turn to turnout, turn got to turnmout to
- 1:45Speaker 1: turnout to turn the water the water go. Come come
- 1:58Speaker 1: on your baby daddy, huh, I sure will. But good
- 2:03Speaker 1: morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Oh, come
- 2:07Speaker 1: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey Man
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show, Boil Boil boy. I can't even
- 2:15Speaker 1: tell you, man um. I've been doing some thinking and
- 2:22Speaker 1: and one of the things that I wanted to mention
- 2:24Speaker 1: today to you as one of the principles of success
- 2:30Speaker 1: being grateful at all times. It's difficult to do. Being
- 2:38Speaker 1: grateful at all times. It's very difficult to do. I
- 2:44Speaker 1: find that to be true with myself. Now there are
- 2:47Speaker 1: others that might be able to do it, but just
- 2:50Speaker 1: just from talking and listening and and and living and learning,
- 2:54Speaker 1: being grateful at all times is difficult to do, but
- 2:59Speaker 1: it's necessary because it's such an act of faith in
- 3:05Speaker 1: knowing that no matter what's going on, it's going to
- 3:09Speaker 1: be all right. And it's hard to see that when
- 3:13Speaker 1: things are not going in your favor, when things have
- 3:18Speaker 1: turned so dramatically the other way, and it seems as
- 3:22Speaker 1: though you're the only one in the situation where you're
- 3:26Speaker 1: involved with other people, or someone got an accusation against
- 3:29Speaker 1: you falsely, or somebody trying to do something to you unjustifiably,
- 3:34Speaker 1: whatever the case may be. When it's happening to you,
- 3:38Speaker 1: it does appear to you that, oh, my goodness, man,
- 3:43Speaker 1: this is horribly one sided. So it is difficult. It's
- 3:48Speaker 1: hard to do to be grateful at all times, but
- 3:51Speaker 1: it's so necessary, and I just I just want to
- 3:55Speaker 1: point out a couple of things to you. First of all,
- 3:59Speaker 1: the difficult in being grateful in hard times is that
- 4:05Speaker 1: number one, the present circumstances. Oftentimes it's just so pressing
- 4:10Speaker 1: and so overwhelming that a lot of your energy is
- 4:14Speaker 1: devoted to trying to come up with the solution for that,
- 4:17Speaker 1: or trying to muster the strength to whether the storm,
- 4:21Speaker 1: or trying to just brace yourself to try to get
- 4:24Speaker 1: through it, and in doing that you don't it's hard
- 4:28Speaker 1: to be grateful. It's hard to be grateful in pain,
- 4:33Speaker 1: and I know it is. But here is the trick
- 4:36Speaker 1: for me. This is what I've had to learn how
- 4:40Speaker 1: to do, and I guess it takes practice to get here.
- 4:44Speaker 1: It's not nothing you can just start doing right away.
- 4:47Speaker 1: You got to practice it in small increments to really
- 4:49Speaker 1: get it. What I've always had to say to myself
- 4:52Speaker 1: and what I've learned to say to myself is this
- 4:56Speaker 1: is happening to me because God is working me through something.
- 5:01Speaker 1: This is happening to me because it's some form of
- 5:05Speaker 1: tests that I have to pass in order to graduate
- 5:08Speaker 1: to the next grade, that in order to be allowed
- 5:12Speaker 1: to move to the next level. This is happening to
- 5:15Speaker 1: me because there's something I need to purge my life,
- 5:20Speaker 1: of my body, of my spirit, of something's purging in me.
- 5:25Speaker 1: And when you purge something, it's it's painful. You know,
- 5:29Speaker 1: It's like a person getting off drugs. The withdrawal is agonizing.
- 5:35Speaker 1: I've been told and every documentary I've ever watched it
- 5:38Speaker 1: it's an agonizing process to go cold turkey, to withdraw,
- 5:43Speaker 1: to pull away after you've been doing something so long.
- 5:48Speaker 1: And so I know that this process is tough when
- 5:53Speaker 1: you're going through some pain, But when you're purging your system,
- 5:58Speaker 1: when you're when you having to pass a test, when
- 6:02Speaker 1: you're about to make when you're being made ready for
- 6:06Speaker 1: the next level, that moment right in there, in realizing
- 6:11Speaker 1: that that's what's happening, that's where you find the gratitude.
- 6:15Speaker 1: That's where I found the gratitude. I hope I'm explaining
- 6:18Speaker 1: this correctly. I'm gonna keep trying until I get it,
- 6:21Speaker 1: But that's where you find the gratitude. The second part
- 6:26Speaker 1: of it is is that God has never left me
- 6:31Speaker 1: in all the things I've done, in all the mistakes
- 6:35Speaker 1: I've made, all the lies I've told, all the situations
- 6:40Speaker 1: I've gotten myself into, from being greedy and wanting too
- 6:44Speaker 1: much for me at the expense sometimes of other people,
- 6:52Speaker 1: not doing it deliberately or in a vindictive way, because
- 6:56Speaker 1: I've never had that spirit. I'm not a vindictive or
- 7:00Speaker 1: mean person, but sometimes in my life, in wanting to
- 7:05Speaker 1: do what I wanted to do, I didn't totally weigh
- 7:08Speaker 1: out the cause and effect of the other person. I mean,
- 7:12Speaker 1: can't just be real with you with that. I mean,
- 7:14Speaker 1: how many times we had all done that look, it
- 7:17Speaker 1: doesn't don't make you a bad person. You know, good
- 7:21Speaker 1: people do bad things all the time. I just happen
- 7:24Speaker 1: to have come to the realization that unknowingly and and
- 7:30Speaker 1: not and not with malice intent towards a person. I've
- 7:36Speaker 1: heard people looking at something I wanted to do without
- 7:41Speaker 1: really looking at what the cause and effect would be
- 7:45Speaker 1: on the other person. So in doing some of these things,
- 7:49Speaker 1: I've created situations for myself. But God, through his grace
- 7:53Speaker 1: and mercy, has allowed me to even get beyond that.
- 7:58Speaker 1: So what I'm saying that God has never left me
- 8:00Speaker 1: in spite of myself. He's always gotten me through. So
- 8:05Speaker 1: that's the other part of it too. See that no
- 8:08Speaker 1: matter what you're going through, you've got to understand that
- 8:11Speaker 1: God has always gotten you through it. Now, hasn't it.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Now that may not be the way you want it
- 8:16Speaker 1: or the way you liked, But guess what, you can't
- 8:19Speaker 1: do wrong and not pay for that. Now that that's
- 8:21Speaker 1: not how this works, That's never going to be the case.
- 8:25Speaker 1: But the great thing about God is he fires warning
- 8:27Speaker 1: shots at us all the time. He gives us an
- 8:29Speaker 1: opportunity to stop. You know, he don't fully punish us
- 8:34Speaker 1: right away. Every time we do something wrong, now does it?
- 8:37Speaker 1: You know eventually you're going to get caught doing whatever
- 8:40Speaker 1: it is you're doing. You do understand that, don't you.
- 8:43Speaker 1: But the first time, that close call, that was a
- 8:47Speaker 1: warning shot for you to stop. Look, I know you're
- 8:50Speaker 1: not perfect. I know we all sent us down here,
- 8:52Speaker 1: so I know you're gonna make mistakes. One time. I
- 8:54Speaker 1: know you was looking at her when you wasn't supposed to.
- 8:57Speaker 1: I know you said something to him when you wasn't
- 8:59Speaker 1: supposed I know you got with her when you know
- 9:02Speaker 1: you wasn't supposed to. And I know you got with
- 9:04Speaker 1: him when you know you wasn't supposed to. So I'll
- 9:06Speaker 1: tell you what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna fire warning
- 9:08Speaker 1: shot and maybe you'll slow your roll this time. But
- 9:11Speaker 1: we keep on though. See see see that's what happens.
- 9:14Speaker 1: See we just keep on and then the next thing,
- 9:17Speaker 1: you know, we get caught. Now, old Lord, have mercy,
- 9:21Speaker 1: I won't out of this. Yeah. Well see you didn't
- 9:23Speaker 1: dug this hole pretty deep, and he gonna get you out.
- 9:27Speaker 1: But there's some things that's got to go down now
- 9:30Speaker 1: because you didn't pay attention to the warning shot. See
- 9:32Speaker 1: had you stopped the first time, you felt bad about
- 9:35Speaker 1: it and said you wasn't gonna do it no more,
- 9:37Speaker 1: the situation wouldn't be as critical. But because we don't stop,
- 9:40Speaker 1: and we go again. But God always for gives, He
- 9:46Speaker 1: always allows us to get back up again. He always
- 9:50Speaker 1: gives us mercy, He always gives us his grace. He
- 9:55Speaker 1: always does that. You're listening. One, two, three, four, five
- 10:09Speaker 1: oh eight. We can stop all this conversation. We can
- 10:17Speaker 1: end all the debates. Stop offering up your terms of engagement,
- 10:26Speaker 1: your invalid factors of proof. It has been decided on
- 10:32Speaker 1: last night that the greatest team sport athlete of our
- 10:40Speaker 1: time it's Tom Brady. I know some of y'all got
- 10:50Speaker 1: your finger in the back of your throat, but you
- 10:54Speaker 1: gonna have to give it up, y'all of what lady
- 11:00Speaker 1: and gentlemen to Steve Harvey Morning Show on the heels
- 11:04Speaker 1: of History. Last night. You saw it, I saw it,
- 11:08Speaker 1: A lot of people saw it. Tom Brady is the goat.
- 11:13Speaker 1: The debate is open for anybody that wants to offer
- 11:16Speaker 1: other things. I will listen now, I will listen. You
- 11:22Speaker 1: can you can start telling me what all everybody else did,
- 11:27Speaker 1: and they sport. I listen not changing my damn Ladies
- 11:34Speaker 1: and gentlemen. Steve Harvey Morning Show dedicated to greatness, Sirley Strawberry,

- 14:23Speaker 1: Lord killed it, yes she did, Yes, killed it with
- 14:27Speaker 1: the country singer. Yeah, Eric Church. She was beautiful and flawed.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Oh that was That was the boss performance of the
- 14:34Speaker 1: night right there. It really was, It really was. So
- 14:37Speaker 1: we'll talk more about it Alicia Keys and her Okay,
- 14:41Speaker 1: all of that, but right now it is time to help.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Someone asked the CLO is upon us are you ready, Chloe,
- 14:48Speaker 1: Steve Hardy, Yeah, let's go. This one is from Clyde
- 14:51Speaker 1: and Georgia. I'm forty four and I'm going through a
- 14:54Speaker 1: terrible divorce because I got cheating. I got caught cheating
- 14:59Speaker 1: my I've put me out and gave most of my
- 15:02Speaker 1: clothing to goodwill. We live in a small town and
- 15:04Speaker 1: everybody knows our business. I'm starting my life over and
- 15:09Speaker 1: I'm working on co parenting for our two sons. My
- 15:12Speaker 1: soon to be ex wife is still better and she's
- 15:15Speaker 1: making my life hell. She'll never forgive me, But is
- 15:18Speaker 1: there any way I can get her to be civil
- 15:21Speaker 1: in front of our boys? Nope, Nope, to the club
- 15:29Speaker 1: homing d no, no, no. Mine wasn't fun at not
- 15:40Speaker 1: saying I didn't. But I ain't get caught all the time.
- 15:50Speaker 1: We're keeping it one hundred dog ain't ain't nothing dog
- 15:55Speaker 1: dog dog. Hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn.
- 16:00Speaker 1: She felt scorn. Here it is Pardner. Dig in, buckle up,
- 16:06Speaker 1: hold on tight. This is the straw beheaded him, hey man,
- 16:14Speaker 1: And it's gonna go on for years, years until she
- 16:19Speaker 1: finds somebody else to make her feel good about herself.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Tag you it. The problem with sin. It costs you
- 16:29Speaker 1: more than you want to pay and makes you stay
- 16:32Speaker 1: longer than you want to stay. That's the problem with sin.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Welcome to the damn clue, say welcome to sin. All right,
- 16:44Speaker 1: here we go Shy in Delaware. Thank you, cello. I'm
- 16:47Speaker 1: thirty three years old and I'm single. I started going
- 16:50Speaker 1: to a new church in my area and I have
- 16:52Speaker 1: a crush on my pastor. I damned him on the
- 16:55Speaker 1: IG to tell him that he's very handsome. He said
- 16:59Speaker 1: to be sure to introduced myself on Sunday, So I
- 17:03Speaker 1: did or one Sunday. He dmmed me that same night
- 17:06Speaker 1: and asked me to meet him across town at a
- 17:08Speaker 1: restaurant in front of a hotel. He's engaged, so he's
- 17:12Speaker 1: not off limits. But I think he's trying to meet
- 17:15Speaker 1: up to have sex since we're going so far away.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Or could it be that he's trying to get to
- 17:19Speaker 1: know me? Please advise? What do you think and what
- 17:23Speaker 1: do you care? And what did you DM him for? All?
- 17:26Speaker 1: This is happening the way you wanted it to happen.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Now you want some advice. Most restaurants just crossed the
- 17:33Speaker 1: street from a hotel. Some damn well. But I'm gonna
- 17:37Speaker 1: tell you right now. The little restaurant you're meeting up
- 17:40Speaker 1: in front of, it ain't that swan care of a place,
- 17:42Speaker 1: because the Quinta Ends is always over that by Shawnees,
- 17:47Speaker 1: and Red roof Is is always over there by Waffle Housing.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Now you got to make up your mind. I don't
- 17:53Speaker 1: know what kind of churches is. I don't know if
- 17:55Speaker 1: it's no big one than nothing like that. But most
- 17:58Speaker 1: restaurants is over that by a hotel. Now, yes, he's engaged,
- 18:04Speaker 1: but you summar so he's not really off limits? Then
- 18:07Speaker 1: what you DM the man for? And you gotta crush
- 18:10Speaker 1: on him? Eddie invited you to dinner and you gonna
- 18:13Speaker 1: girls stop? What what? Right away? And I tell you
- 18:22Speaker 1: one thing. He ain't no old pastor either because he
- 18:24Speaker 1: got DM skills. I still don't know how to get
- 18:27Speaker 1: into my DM. You get a notice and everything. No,
- 18:33Speaker 1: let me tell you something. I don't know how to
- 18:34Speaker 1: get into DM. I don't know how to post nothing.
- 18:37Speaker 1: When you see something on my Instagram, somebody on my
- 18:40Speaker 1: team has been posted, I don't even know how to post.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Well that's cool. And I had to make people take
- 18:46Speaker 1: stuff down yeah. I don't know half to stuff up
- 18:50Speaker 1: there until I get a text from one of my
- 18:51Speaker 1: old a friends. I see you boy, what all right?
- 18:57Speaker 1: So you know she's in for a ride with the
- 19:01Speaker 1: pastor all right? Literally all right? Donna in Vegas CLO says,
- 19:08Speaker 1: I've been single for the past few years, so I
- 19:10Speaker 1: took matters into my own hands, and I'm dating three
- 19:13Speaker 1: men because the old way of dating didn't work. I
- 19:16Speaker 1: spent four years with a man that wouldn't marry me,
- 19:18Speaker 1: so I decided to have three options instead of wasting
- 19:21Speaker 1: time with one. God, my brother said, I need to
- 19:24Speaker 1: tell the men I'm casually dating so I don't get
- 19:27Speaker 1: caught up in a situation. Men don't warn us when
- 19:30Speaker 1: they're seeing a bunch of females at one time. It
- 19:32Speaker 1: sounds so crazy for him to suggest that should I
- 19:35Speaker 1: tell the men or not? Well, because there's double standards,
- 19:38Speaker 1: and your brother knows as double standards period. So like,
- 19:43Speaker 1: let's suppose you do like one of them. But let's
- 19:45Speaker 1: suppose in this plan that you have of creating three options,
- 19:49Speaker 1: that one of those options actually goes, Wow, that's wifey material,
- 19:55Speaker 1: and then he finds out that you've been dating two
- 19:59Speaker 1: other dudes. You falls off the wifie wagon right fast.
- 20:03Speaker 1: So now where you at And that's why he's saying
- 20:06Speaker 1: you got to be fourth, right, so you can put
- 20:09Speaker 1: all out. The ones that's in it to win it
- 20:11Speaker 1: are the ones that don't care who you seeing. See
- 20:14Speaker 1: your brother smart now to tell you that. Or you
- 20:16Speaker 1: could just play your game out. You know, he could
- 20:19Speaker 1: work out for you. You could play your game out.
- 20:21Speaker 1: He could work out for you, but it probably won't
- 20:25Speaker 1: because it don't work out for guys either. Yeah, yeah,
- 20:29Speaker 1: we do it, and but do we get away with it? No? No,
- 20:34Speaker 1: you know it right? All right? Thank you, Cello. Great
- 20:37Speaker 1: advice as usual. Coming up next Church Complains, Robend Motown
- 20:41Speaker 1: Deacon Deaf Jam in the building. Right after this. You're
- 20:44Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at
- 20:48Speaker 1: the top of the hour, trending national and entertainment news,
- 20:51Speaker 1: Super Bowl fifty five, the commercials. We'll talk about the
- 20:54Speaker 1: tenth annual NFL Honors, hosted by a very own Chief
- 20:58Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. We'll talk about all of these stories at
- 21:02Speaker 1: the top of the hour, But right now it is
- 21:04Speaker 1: Super Monday and it is time for Church Complaints with
- 21:07Speaker 1: Reverend motown and Deacon death jam we yeah, gavel old grogaciously,
- 21:19Speaker 1: we motiffictonis lead posculate in the way that he would
- 21:31Speaker 1: have us diconomize we are, I said, diconomize. I'm preaching
- 21:42Speaker 1: now you we are here to gavel on this Monday
- 21:47Speaker 1: morning to hell. The differentiation of a nunciation of complications
- 21:58Speaker 1: or situation. Look at that now, don't you don't human now?
- 22:03Speaker 1: And these is the church complaints I passed at the
- 22:09Speaker 1: The church commercial did not add that was supposed to add.
- 22:15Speaker 1: You know, we paid three hundred dollars for the commercial
- 22:17Speaker 1: that air and uh, it didn't run. And they want
- 22:21Speaker 1: to sue CBS, but it's that our commercial did not run.
- 22:26Speaker 1: So you need to talk to the powers that be.
- 22:28Speaker 1: But we paid three hundred dollars for our commercials to
- 22:31Speaker 1: as we didn't or Deacon, based on the prices of
- 22:35Speaker 1: the super Bowl commercial, your three hundred dollars allows you
- 22:40Speaker 1: to say that you had submitted or commercial. We paid
- 22:49Speaker 1: three hundred dollars path and we won't. We won't. We won't,
- 22:53Speaker 1: we don't and and and and for the three hundred
- 22:55Speaker 1: you get to do just what you was doing right now.
- 22:59Speaker 1: You just to say you submitted for commercial They not
- 23:04Speaker 1: airon or damn thing for three hundred dollars, not CBS,
- 23:09Speaker 1: TBS or ups and don't do anothering for three hundred
- 23:14Speaker 1: a man, Come on, all right, this this is a
- 23:20Speaker 1: situation with you. Now. The J P j J booking
- 23:25Speaker 1: House made a lot of money off the Big Game yesterday.
- 23:28Speaker 1: We noticed you left right after the game ended and
- 23:32Speaker 1: didn't pay out. Now, uh do you when do you
- 23:36Speaker 1: pay playing to pay these members? Because you owe a
- 23:38Speaker 1: lot of money. You oh, oh, and and and and
- 23:41Speaker 1: and let me ask you something or decon, why do
- 23:46Speaker 1: our old money for the booking? What? What? What was
- 23:49Speaker 1: the situation exactly when we had the Super Bowl pool
- 23:54Speaker 1: and you you, um, you better? I almost about a
- 23:57Speaker 1: thousand dollars. You had different squares, but you didn't win.
- 24:00Speaker 1: But you I also owe some people some man answer,
- 24:03Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out high is I'm betting on
- 24:07Speaker 1: squares but then lose on squares. You see, am, I
- 24:18Speaker 1: can't be the bet tall and the bed t See
- 24:25Speaker 1: y'all don't know the rules of gambling, but I didn't see.
- 24:31Speaker 1: I didn't start the pool. The pool was started by
- 24:35Speaker 1: Deacon death Jam. This is his pool. Wait wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
- 24:39Speaker 1: I gonna put it on me now. See I put
- 24:41Speaker 1: the thousand dollars work square? Who I give my thousand two?
- 24:44Speaker 1: Did I give to you? Yeah? But hello, that's because
- 24:50Speaker 1: you came to me with the square game. I bet
- 24:53Speaker 1: my thousand What you didn't know was down at the
- 24:57Speaker 1: boocket house. I bet fifteen hundred old a Hume braidy that,
- 25:01Speaker 1: y'all problem, fifteen hundred dollars. You didn't go through me.
- 25:07Speaker 1: You're supposed to go through me on that you said,
- 25:10Speaker 1: I went down to the booking house professionals. Yeah, as
- 25:17Speaker 1: a pastor. Well, I have it on my phone. It's
- 25:21Speaker 1: an altital I didn't know you was betting you. You're
- 25:34Speaker 1: not telling me everything you're doing. Now, that's a problem already, World, World,
- 25:39Speaker 1: that's gonna forever beat or problem? All right, let me
- 25:43Speaker 1: keep moving. Listening here Andy read the Kansas City coach
- 25:49Speaker 1: is asking that y'all that we pray for time Brady
- 25:52Speaker 1: to retire so they can possibly go to the Super
- 25:56Speaker 1: Bowl again next year, maybe win. They want you to
- 25:59Speaker 1: talk the time about not coming back. That's what they
- 26:02Speaker 1: want you to do. Or maybe you didn't understand my
- 26:06Speaker 1: or prior statement, I bet asked him to do anything
- 26:17Speaker 1: except give me a hood the goat all right pastor
- 26:27Speaker 1: looking here? The halftime was just a damn I'm sorry,
- 26:32Speaker 1: was a disaster. And the Death Choir is in an
- 26:37Speaker 1: outrage that they didn't get to perform, and they say,
- 26:41Speaker 1: you know, the Weekend can't hold a counter to them,
- 26:43Speaker 1: and they mad that they didn't get to perform. I'm
- 26:46Speaker 1: gonna need you to talk to the Death Choir because
- 26:48Speaker 1: they said they could really have done a lot better
- 26:50Speaker 1: job than what he did. I actually thought that Death
- 26:53Speaker 1: Choir was the background day you did pass. Why do
- 27:01Speaker 1: you think that like on them? I thought the Death
- 27:09Speaker 1: cho was in the background dancer for the Weekend. Thought
- 27:13Speaker 1: they made it so I thought, you know or Deacon
- 27:17Speaker 1: death Jam being a member or capa officer. You know
- 27:21Speaker 1: they who they? You know they wear masks when they performed. Wait, wait,
- 27:26Speaker 1: wait a minute, night, I didn't know we was bringing
- 27:30Speaker 1: opportunities and we never bring ours into the wh you
- 27:35Speaker 1: just well, I did cast Cappa sometimes performed with mask on,
- 27:43Speaker 1: so that half opera mask of the white Man, which
- 27:46Speaker 1: I've never understood why y'all would be, And sometimes the
- 27:51Speaker 1: performed with they shirt South and sweating, and that's that's all. All.
- 27:56Speaker 1: That's fine and good. You know, we take our share,
- 27:58Speaker 1: But why we will wear a mask of a white man?
- 28:01Speaker 1: That's what wonder what was going on with? You're not
- 28:05Speaker 1: gonna kid can't do this to kids now, you're not
- 28:08Speaker 1: gonna do it. Now. I would come out, I wouldn't
- 28:11Speaker 1: say nothing wrong. I would talk about this voice and
- 28:14Speaker 1: my old hand. I want you to understand the question.
- 28:16Speaker 1: I was not saying anything was wrong with it. I
- 28:19Speaker 1: was wondering about it. Well, I ain't never won't no
- 28:23Speaker 1: half white man mask. But what you're not gonna do
- 28:25Speaker 1: is come out. That's what you're not going or you
- 28:29Speaker 1: as a capital y'all, I ain't nothing. Well, I've just
- 28:35Speaker 1: seen it on a lot of times. I don't know
- 28:37Speaker 1: what that is for y'all worth it man? Okay, Well,
- 28:39Speaker 1: one most suggestion like that, ain't you're gonna get half
- 28:42Speaker 1: I ass whipping that because you tell me I bought
- 28:43Speaker 1: half a white man. I ain't want to know half
- 28:45Speaker 1: a white man. Well, I'm not talking to a cuter
- 28:48Speaker 1: half a ass. Whooping is all you're gonna be able
- 28:50Speaker 1: to issue because your gonna be for you not then
- 28:53Speaker 1: this is gonna be still half but don't think you
- 28:55Speaker 1: can't get your behind whipped. But maybe coming out well,
- 28:59Speaker 1: I'll tell you what ain't gonna go to a half man,
- 29:01Speaker 1: white man that ain't name. The national news right after this,
- 29:05Speaker 1: you're listening to show in today's trending news. As we
- 29:13Speaker 1: all know, the Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- 29:17Speaker 1: defeated the Kansas City Chiefs and Super Bowl fifty five.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Yeah they did, They really did. Also, trending singer The
- 29:25Speaker 1: Weekend promised he promised a cinematic experience with his Pepsi
- 29:30Speaker 1: super Bowl halftime show, and he definitely delivered. That's exactly
- 29:33Speaker 1: what it was. During his set, did you see, Yeah,
- 29:38Speaker 1: it kind of appeared like an angel descended from the sky.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Did you pay attention to that? Yeah, yeah, before revealing like, huh,
- 29:48Speaker 1: what'd you say? I didn't understand a damn thing. But
- 29:50Speaker 1: y'all go ahead them go here, go ahead, you can
- 29:53Speaker 1: go ahead and do what you're doing. But I didn't.
- 29:57Speaker 1: Weekend last week Thursday Fried, I understand a damn thing.
- 30:01Speaker 1: All the young people that I talked to loved it. Yeah, okay,
- 30:04Speaker 1: with an old person over here fifty three, I ain't
- 30:07Speaker 1: understand a damn thing, so go here. Anyway, the angel appeared,
- 30:13Speaker 1: It looked like it was an angel before revealing this
- 30:16Speaker 1: wall of background singers and dancers wearing plastic masks, masks
- 30:21Speaker 1: that you were talking about earlier in the show, Steve.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Then he performed Steve. Steve wasn't talking about any plastic masks.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Motown pastor Motown. Oh sorry, yes, Pastor said, they don't.
- 30:34Speaker 1: They don't know Pastor Motown is Steve. Well, they know it,
- 30:40Speaker 1: but you have to separate the two. Where you talking
- 30:43Speaker 1: to professionals like me and Tommy. Oh okay, yeah, but
- 30:49Speaker 1: there were there were mixed reviews Tommy on the Weekend's
- 30:53Speaker 1: halftime performance. A lot of people loved it. A lot
- 30:55Speaker 1: of people didn't love it so much or didn't understand
- 30:58Speaker 1: it like you, But I liked it. I didn't understand
- 31:00Speaker 1: the damn thing I'm saying Weekend's music though, Yeah, I
- 31:06Speaker 1: like music, but half time I didn't understand the damn thing. Well,
- 31:09Speaker 1: I his dancing skills is equivalent to mad and that's
- 31:14Speaker 1: what I was concerned about. Our scoring. But it was
- 31:17Speaker 1: it was a big show. Though it was, it was
- 31:19Speaker 1: big halftime. I could have done the steps he was doing.
- 31:25Speaker 1: He looked like he did all of Michael Jackson moves
- 31:29Speaker 1: for a sixty five year old. We're not gonna quite moonwalk.
- 31:38Speaker 1: We just gonna malwalk, all right, guys. So let's talk
- 31:44Speaker 1: about the commercials. Uh, which ones were your favorite? Okay?
- 31:49Speaker 1: There was a State Farm one with uh, you know,
- 31:52Speaker 1: Jake from State Farm and then Drake from State at
- 31:58Speaker 1: the same time. It was Yeah, that was cute. Cardie
- 32:03Speaker 1: B popped up on the set of Wayne's World to
- 32:05Speaker 1: promote Uber eats. Yeah, that one. That was cute. Yeah,
- 32:09Speaker 1: I like that one. Yeah, sad the entertainer Steve had
- 32:12Speaker 1: won the Butt night, you know, and him and post Malone. Yes,
- 32:16Speaker 1: man is always in super He's always in Supervio. Yeah.
- 32:21Speaker 1: My favorite, though, was Tracy Morgan appearing in those pretty
- 32:25Speaker 1: sure Rocket mortgage commercials were good. Yeah, love love love
- 32:31Speaker 1: those and of course the fan favorite, um uh Michael B.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Jordan as Alexa. Yes, yeah, that we talked about that
- 32:39Speaker 1: one last. Yeah. A lot of feel good type um
- 32:43Speaker 1: bringing together, coming together type commercials too. Um. Fairly that
- 32:48Speaker 1: movie looks good. Old It's called Old Yeah Old. Yeah, Yeah,
- 32:53Speaker 1: that looks good. Yeah. When you go to this Island
- 32:56Speaker 1: as a young person. And oh I saw that. Yeah yeah.
- 33:00Speaker 1: And did you see the Coming to America too trailer? Yeah? Yeah,
- 33:05Speaker 1: waite that. I can't wait for that one. I really can't.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Any favorite stick out in your mind, Steve. I didn't
- 33:12Speaker 1: really watch him tell you the truth, be honest with you.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Oh yeah, very long, but it was good. It talked
- 33:21Speaker 1: about unity. The country was a jeep ad. Yeah, yeah,
- 33:24Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't really watch him. I saw the
- 33:27Speaker 1: one where where the little caption said, you know, you
- 33:31Speaker 1: could have just told us it was a boy. You know,
- 33:34Speaker 1: the blue the blue powder blue up on commercial. Yeah. Yeah.
- 33:45Speaker 1: And finally something you did see, Steve, because you were
- 33:48Speaker 1: part of it. You hosted the NFL Honors. Uh, Saturday night,
- 33:52Speaker 1: Saturday Night? Blue cheese? What you were? Blue cheese? You were?
- 34:01Speaker 1: I missed what you had on? Thought, Oh what, man?
- 34:05Speaker 1: Come on, talk about it? Black and white? No, you
- 34:09Speaker 1: talk about I want to be you know what I mean?
- 34:12Speaker 1: I just had it on. Well, what was the fabric?
- 34:19Speaker 1: Was it silk? Because it was beautiful? It was the
- 34:23Speaker 1: black and white and white? Yeah. No, it was like
- 34:26Speaker 1: a stretch. It's had a little stretch to it. It
- 34:30Speaker 1: was like a. It was like a linen silk. Oh okay,
- 34:34Speaker 1: it was really nice. The jacket black and white bold print.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Then he had on black tuxedo pants with a white
- 34:41Speaker 1: shirt and a white bow tie. Tommy, you missed. That
- 34:44Speaker 1: was good? It was yeah yeah. And then and then
- 34:49Speaker 1: he had on this leopard jacket, same fabric I think
- 34:53Speaker 1: with I think what Monica call diamonds all over it
- 34:56Speaker 1: because it was sparkling everywhere. Yeah, they weren't diamond it
- 35:00Speaker 1: was beautiful, Yeah they were. They were fake glitter, but
- 35:05Speaker 1: it was beautiful. Yeah. You really. Yeah, you did your thing.
- 35:08Speaker 1: You did your thing. Now, how was that for you? Performing?
- 35:13Speaker 1: I mean, you know, I mean it's it's hard. There's
- 35:16Speaker 1: no crowd, I mean, you know. And and I thought,
- 35:19Speaker 1: I'm on even doing it. Steve, Please, we've got to
- 35:23Speaker 1: get your monologues. You're just famous, now, come on. Please.
- 35:27Speaker 1: And so we did it, I mean, you know the reviews. Yeah, yeah,
- 35:31Speaker 1: the reviews, uh, you know, we're viral. So it was good,
- 35:34Speaker 1: you know, I felt I felt good about it. Not
- 35:37Speaker 1: to have an audience, you know, I thought the jokes
- 35:39Speaker 1: was timely, you know, I did, I did. I did
- 35:42Speaker 1: some stuff I thought was funny. You know, and it
- 35:46Speaker 1: was all right. Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour,
- 35:49Speaker 1: our resident poet Junior is here. Oh wow, he's gonna
- 35:53Speaker 1: bless us with a brand new poem. Right you're listening,
- 35:59Speaker 1: Steve Harpy Morning Show. Well she did it again. Youth
- 36:03Speaker 1: poet Laurea Amanda Gorman honored team captains and frontline COVID
- 36:07Speaker 1: nineteen heroes in her poem Course of the Captains. During
- 36:11Speaker 1: the last night's Super Bowl, Young Amanda was outstanding yet again.
- 36:15Speaker 1: We just simply love her. We do, Yes, Shirley, I
- 36:21Speaker 1: wanted to say this. I was. We had a two
- 36:24Speaker 1: man Super Bowl party, Junior and I kid, y'all not.
- 36:28Speaker 1: We were sitting there watching it when the young girl
- 36:31Speaker 1: came out and started doing the boy junior face twisted face.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Sideway said, j's you for real? Yeah, because she's dragging me.
- 36:47Speaker 1: She is dragging me. She's so talented competitive, Well he
- 36:54Speaker 1: said dog, he said, dog, she got me again. Well,
- 36:59Speaker 1: not to be out done, our very own residence poet
- 37:02Speaker 1: Junior is here with the new poem What you got, Junior?
- 37:05Speaker 1: Here we goes. This is from Tom Brady. Listen from
- 37:08Speaker 1: Tom Brady, and the poem is called who's too old?
- 37:14Speaker 1: Here we go, not the coach or the QB. Because
- 37:18Speaker 1: the coach is sixty eight and the QB is forty three.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Who's too old? You say we passed our prime, but
- 37:26Speaker 1: we just sold TV old beach young boys behind. They
- 37:29Speaker 1: was talking about retirement, putting me in a home. Brady's
- 37:33Speaker 1: name never came up. It was my homes, my homes,
- 37:36Speaker 1: my homes. And here's to all the old people. Don't
- 37:39Speaker 1: stand up, stay seated, because Brady gave my homes of
- 37:43Speaker 1: buck whooping, the buckwhooping that he needed. So here's to
- 37:47Speaker 1: the old people. Yesterday was your day. And did you
- 37:50Speaker 1: know that coach of Tampa is just as old as Jay?
- 37:53Speaker 1: That's Japany Brown the end. Take that, amandergord Man. Man,
- 38:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna keep fighting girl. So let me tell you this.
- 38:05Speaker 1: So Julia asked me doing the Super Bowl. He said, oh,
- 38:11Speaker 1: you didn't tell him I did poetry. I said, yeah,
- 38:14Speaker 1: I did. I submitted foulk samples from the show to
- 38:18Speaker 1: the NFL. Yeah, I say that's why he asked out
- 38:22Speaker 1: there right now? Yeah, because you didn't get Roger to day,
- 38:29Speaker 1: none of my poets to keep fighting day. Yeah, she's
- 38:36Speaker 1: dragging me right now. She's killing you. G This is old.
- 38:42Speaker 1: If I see her at the Grammars, I know I'm over.
- 38:45Speaker 1: Oh yeah. Her poems are always on point, and so
- 38:49Speaker 1: are yours. She did a great job. Yea. She really
- 38:54Speaker 1: such a talented young lady. All right, coming up in
- 38:57Speaker 1: thirty four minutes after the hour. What's on your mind
- 38:59Speaker 1: this morning? Call us eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve.
- 39:03Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Si, and time to the people.
- 39:11Speaker 1: Let's go talk to us eight seven seven Steve, huh,
- 39:16Speaker 1: go ahead, Shirley Lime one. Honey Graham, Honey Graham. I
- 39:21Speaker 1: like that name, Honey Graham. Out of Are you hey,
- 39:26Speaker 1: Honey Graham? And how you doing good? How are you,
- 39:29Speaker 1: Honey Graham? I'm great. It's such a pleasure to speak
- 39:33Speaker 1: to you guys. Okay, what you got, Honey? I listen
- 39:38Speaker 1: to see what I have. I just want to know.
- 39:40Speaker 1: Do we feel I mean, do you guys think that
- 39:43Speaker 1: Donald duck? I mean, Donald Trump is going to get
- 39:46Speaker 1: away with um? Is he going to be I responsible
- 39:48Speaker 1: for his acsence for insight and a riot? Or is
- 39:50Speaker 1: he gonna get away like he normally does? Well? In
- 39:54Speaker 1: my opinion, I think because a lot of this is
- 40:00Speaker 1: gonna have to be inhald in the Senate, and I
- 40:05Speaker 1: don't think the Republicans are going to make a move
- 40:07Speaker 1: to convict him. I think they're are mostly comprised of cowards.
- 40:13Speaker 1: I think the Republican Party is more concerned with power,
- 40:18Speaker 1: position and money than they are justice, equality and rights
- 40:22Speaker 1: and morality or immorality. They've lost their moral compass to
- 40:27Speaker 1: that party. To Donald Trump, I think that the Republican
- 40:31Speaker 1: Party became the Trump Party for real. I think they're
- 40:34Speaker 1: scared of him, and I think that they're not gonna
- 40:38Speaker 1: do much now. He is going to pay in another way,
- 40:44Speaker 1: I wish they would impeach him, because if they would
- 40:48Speaker 1: impeach him, that means he would lose Secret Service protection
- 40:53Speaker 1: for the rest of his life. He loses the salary,
- 40:56Speaker 1: and he's unable to run again for political office. And
- 41:01Speaker 1: all I want is him to not be able to
- 41:02Speaker 1: surface again and in the political front. And I think
- 41:06Speaker 1: these people are gonna find out how he's self centering
- 41:08Speaker 1: he is once and for all, because he's gonna desert
- 41:11Speaker 1: him because once he finds out he can't run for
- 41:14Speaker 1: political office again, he's gonna he's gonna disappear he don't
- 41:18Speaker 1: care about people, you know, he just cares about himself. Now,
- 41:22Speaker 1: do I hope, Yes, I hope he does pay. But
- 41:24Speaker 1: now New York gonna make him pay for all his crimes.
- 41:28Speaker 1: They're not playing, They're waiting. He all this divulgion of
- 41:32Speaker 1: taxes and all of this and hiding all this here.
- 41:34Speaker 1: He gonna he gonna need a lot of money. So
- 41:36Speaker 1: that's my opinion, and that's my hope. But he will
- 41:39Speaker 1: pay on some level because I mean, just simply put,
- 41:42Speaker 1: I mean, God don't like ugly, so and he has
- 41:45Speaker 1: been very ugly. That's my opinion. Honeygram Let's go to
- 41:52Speaker 1: line too. Steven talked to Donald out of Philly and
- 41:57Speaker 1: Donald out of Philly. Two of my favorite names as
- 42:00Speaker 1: my brother and my uncle's name is Donald, and I
- 42:03Speaker 1: love Philly one on five point three sound like Philly
- 42:08Speaker 1: to meet? Yes, sir, what's happening for that? What's happening
- 42:12Speaker 1: to crew? How you're doing? Yeah? Hey, I just want
- 42:14Speaker 1: to say that, this is Donald the NASCAR guy with
- 42:18Speaker 1: the children's book. I haven't talked to y'all in the wild,
- 42:21Speaker 1: but I just want to say, yeah, I just want
- 42:23Speaker 1: to say that in the middle of all this stuff
- 42:25Speaker 1: been going on, It's been one of the best years
- 42:28Speaker 1: for me and my wife and my family. We got
- 42:30Speaker 1: a daughter in community college. We got a new book.
- 42:33Speaker 1: We got a new book, and I'm dealing with some
- 42:35Speaker 1: of the people from Shark Tank with it. And I
- 42:37Speaker 1: just want everybody know just to be a courage because
- 42:39Speaker 1: in the middle of all this storm, God still take
- 42:42Speaker 1: care of his people. Come on, boy, right now, right,
- 42:46Speaker 1: Thank God does his best work in the middle of
- 42:49Speaker 1: the storm, because that's when he's most needed and most
- 42:54Speaker 1: sought after him. You seek him, you shall fine. Ain't
- 42:58Speaker 1: no doubt about it. Boy, Twenty twenty was a rough year,
- 43:02Speaker 1: but but but I have some amazing things happened in
- 43:04Speaker 1: my life. All right, let's try to get one motion.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Thank you, don Let's go to line three and talk
- 43:10Speaker 1: to Camilla out of Michigan. Camilla, Camilla, Good morning everyone.
- 43:16Speaker 1: I listened to you guys every morning driving to work.
- 43:19Speaker 1: So since I got a break as an educator, here's
- 43:21Speaker 1: my question, when do educators become frontline valuable that we
- 43:26Speaker 1: are able to get the shot. I have friends in California,
- 43:30Speaker 1: California and New York, Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, some of them
- 43:34Speaker 1: have not even been vaccinated, although they've been asked to
- 43:37Speaker 1: register for it. Yeah, well, I agree with you. It's
- 43:42Speaker 1: to my understanding that they're in the process right now
- 43:44Speaker 1: doing it because in Georgia they're moving now because I
- 43:47Speaker 1: just saw the news and have a lot of educators
- 43:50Speaker 1: lighting up. It's been slow. It's been slow because the
- 43:53Speaker 1: previous administration had no plan for administering the vaccine. Joe
- 43:57Speaker 1: Biden and Kamala Harris on a fast catch up pace,
- 44:01Speaker 1: so it's gonna happen. But you all are very important
- 44:04Speaker 1: to the call, so please don't give up. You all
- 44:06Speaker 1: love our education. We do, we really do. Thank you, Camilla,
- 44:10Speaker 1: appreciate all the calls today. Coming up next the nephew
- 44:13Speaker 1: with the prank phone call. Right after this, you're listening
- 44:16Speaker 1: to the Stry Morning Show Who stay out to water Fall?
- 44:26Speaker 1: Random coming up at the top of the hour. Write
- 44:31Speaker 1: about four minutes after it's my Strawberry letter for today.
- 44:33Speaker 1: The subject the little Gremlin is here to stay. We'll

- 46:05Speaker 1: you know the Reda Clark. Who is there? Oh that's
- 46:08Speaker 1: not someone I associate where personally. That's Chad's ex wife
- 46:12Speaker 1: And that doesn't make any sense for her to be
- 46:13Speaker 1: sending us to anything. So you don't you don't even
- 46:16Speaker 1: have I don't think she sent us. Did she didn't
- 46:20Speaker 1: send it. She said this chance, she didn't send it
- 46:23Speaker 1: to you. Okay, well, I'm just gonna let you know
- 46:25Speaker 1: we don't need that delivery, So thank you. Anyway, you

- 46:45Speaker 1: now I'll just discard it myself if you if you
- 46:48Speaker 1: need to bring it. But I'm sure I have to
- 46:50Speaker 1: bring it. But let me ask you something. I mean this, lady.
- 46:54Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not trying to pry into anything, but
- 46:56Speaker 1: I mean, have you have you bought him anything for battle? There? No,
- 47:00Speaker 1: I haven't, but I have plenty of time to get
- 47:04Speaker 1: about something that don't make sense to me? Why why
- 47:06Speaker 1: haven't you about it? All right? I don't think you
- 47:09Speaker 1: need to worry about what I get from my man
- 47:11Speaker 1: or what I don't get from my husband. All right,
- 47:12Speaker 1: that's none of your concerns. Well is concerned about making

- 47:41Speaker 1: questioning me about what I do or don't do for
- 47:43Speaker 1: my husband. That's absolutely none of your God business. I
- 47:45Speaker 1: need to know Chad is gonna be there so mister
- 47:48Speaker 1: Chad might want. Don't worry so much about Chad. This
- 47:50Speaker 1: is our family business, family business. I'm his wife. Do
- 47:54Speaker 1: you understand what that means? I'm his wife. I understand it.
- 47:57Speaker 1: But ever thenly his ex wife want him to have
- 47:59Speaker 1: his fruit. If you want to be pissed me on Chad,
- 48:03Speaker 1: and I'm not gonna I'm not gonna come delivering nothing
- 48:06Speaker 1: to you and you're gonna throw it away. This is
- 48:08Speaker 1: Chad's fruit basket and she did she sends you? Did
- 48:12Speaker 1: you read to send you specifically? I just want to
- 48:15Speaker 1: understand what the hell is going on because you seem
- 48:17Speaker 1: really invested in in my husband's ex wife. I don't
- 48:20Speaker 1: even understand why, but it's gonna piss me off. So
- 48:22Speaker 1: I want some answers. And you use the right word.
- 48:25Speaker 1: You're not invested in Chad? Why haven't you bought anything
- 48:28Speaker 1: for Chad's why perk fruit Perkins. I'm gonna need to
- 48:32Speaker 1: speak to your guy and manager because I'm getting real
- 48:35Speaker 1: upset right now and you don't want no problems with me,
- 48:37Speaker 1: So why don't you hand over your manager of the
- 48:38Speaker 1: phone and we're gonna settle this, me and your manager
- 48:41Speaker 1: And I don't want to ever see you because I
- 48:43Speaker 1: don't even know what I'm gonna do. I've been so
- 48:45Speaker 1: disrespected on this phone call right now? Will am I
- 48:48Speaker 1: hold them in day? So why don't you pass your
- 48:50Speaker 1: manager of the phone. I'm not friend to put you
- 48:52Speaker 1: on the phone, manage to put me on the phone
- 48:54Speaker 1: with your manage. You don't have some to me. I'm
- 48:55Speaker 1: gonna call back. I'm gonna make sure you get fired.
- 48:57Speaker 1: But disrespect to me. You're taking your anger out on
- 49:01Speaker 1: the ex wife and you're taking it out on me.
- 49:03Speaker 1: The anger that you have for her, you're taking it
- 49:05Speaker 1: out on me. That's what you're doing. No, I'm taking
- 49:07Speaker 1: out the disrespect that you keep laying on top of me,
- 49:11Speaker 1: like like you don't know how to talk to somebody.
- 49:13Speaker 1: I don't stand how you have this job, calling me
- 49:14Speaker 1: disrespected me like this. All I'm saying is the lady
- 49:17Speaker 1: won't chad to have this proud bask In business. None
- 49:21Speaker 1: of your business. So, like I said, give you manager
- 49:23Speaker 1: the phone because I'm seated it that you're fired. Okay, okay,
- 49:27Speaker 1: all right, can you hold on for a minute. Yeah,
- 49:29Speaker 1: I can't hold on. Go ahead any time. This is
- 49:32Speaker 1: the man's wife. She don't want me to deliver the
- 49:35Speaker 1: stuff because the ex wife is who sent it to him,
- 49:40Speaker 1: and she don't want serious. So now she got the
- 49:43Speaker 1: attitude and she's cuts in at me and I've been
- 49:46Speaker 1: talking crazy to her and I haven't the boots stuff.
- 49:50Speaker 1: It's fight for him, the fruit bask I need you
- 49:53Speaker 1: to just give you manager the phone. If that's enough explaining,
- 49:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell him what over. Hello much film, I
- 50:00Speaker 1: speaking with Liz Hi. My name is Davina, and I
- 50:03Speaker 1: need to talk to you about your your customer service
- 50:06Speaker 1: delivery person, whatever he is. I have been so disrespected
- 50:10Speaker 1: on the phone. I've never been met with such hostility
- 50:13Speaker 1: on the phone before. At this point, I just I
- 50:16Speaker 1: just want to put this behind me. I just want
- 50:18Speaker 1: you to take it. Make sure you speak to him,
- 50:20Speaker 1: penalized him as if he doesn't understand where he just did.
- 50:23Speaker 1: But he just speaks. I will, I will, I will.
- 50:25Speaker 1: I will definitely reprimand him for that. And I don't
- 50:28Speaker 1: want him make no delivery, not to my not to
- 50:30Speaker 1: my place, to this. I'm here on Friday all day.
- 50:32Speaker 1: I don't need any delivery. I don't want him to
- 50:35Speaker 1: make the delivery. But can I ask you a question? Delivery?
- 50:38Speaker 1: I'm sorry, go ahead, Okay, I can't take it. I
- 50:40Speaker 1: can't take it. Listen. This is nephew Timmy from the
- 50:43Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Mourning Show. All right, your husband Chad got

- 51:15Speaker 1: so stressed. I'm gonna kill my husband. Let me ask
- 51:20Speaker 1: you something. What's the baddest and I mean the baddest
- 51:22Speaker 1: radio show in the lane? The Steve Harvey Morning Self
- 51:27Speaker 1: for short? Who you play? You have it? I'm playing
- 51:35Speaker 1: with people about fruit Devita Derita Perkins. Get that name Perkins.
- 51:47Speaker 1: But you know what to do? But to get indignant though,
- 51:51Speaker 1: Oh but she gonna get him something. But you ain't
- 51:55Speaker 1: your opinion? She said, you know what, you seem to
- 51:57Speaker 1: be really invested in the delivery of eg what you
- 52:00Speaker 1: got to do with this? Right? She was a smart
- 52:07Speaker 1: what excuse me? Right? I love when you talk to
- 52:12Speaker 1: to the manager. Boy, I'm telling the manager I'm making
- 52:20Speaker 1: a smooth for me. I'm trying not to lose my job.
- 52:24Speaker 1: I don't get I love Perkins the name though, excuse me, Perkins,
- 52:31Speaker 1: that's the last name you Yeah, yeah, there's Perkins. You
- 52:36Speaker 1: know I'm the delivery guy. That's what I do. You
- 52:38Speaker 1: know I'm not gonna lose my job because because you
- 52:41Speaker 1: ain't done nothing for your man. Hey, that's a personal problem.
- 52:47Speaker 1: His wife's gonna give him something, but you ain't gonna
- 52:48Speaker 1: be him. You have a delivery for us, No, not
- 52:54Speaker 1: for us, for him, I don't say I said for him,
- 52:57Speaker 1: but not you. You have nothing to do with this. Okay,
- 53:04Speaker 1: you're so wrong, way too much. Okay, do something for
- 53:12Speaker 1: your husbband because you have it, lady. Ain't nothing like
- 53:19Speaker 1: a good prank on a Monday morning. Ain't nothing like Superman?
- 53:23Speaker 1: All right, nephew, thank you so much for the prank.
- 53:26Speaker 1: H Strawberry Letter coming up next. The Little Gremlin is

- 54:21Speaker 1: up and hold on tight. We got it for you.
- 54:23Speaker 1: Hear it eves the strawberry, all right, nephew, subject the
- 54:27Speaker 1: little gremlin is near to day. Here's Stephen Shirley. I'm
- 54:33Speaker 1: thirty two. I'm a thirty two year old single woman,
- 54:35Speaker 1: and one of my best friends recently got engaged to
- 54:38Speaker 1: a man she's known for less than a year. I
- 54:41Speaker 1: have a close knit group of girlfriends and we were
- 54:43Speaker 1: all single before the quarantine. But one of our girlfriends
- 54:47Speaker 1: got bored and started talking to a guy she met
- 54:49Speaker 1: at the airport. We think she got lonely at home
- 54:52Speaker 1: alone with nothing to do, and the little man filled
- 54:56Speaker 1: that void. She looked forward to talking to him daily,
- 55:00Speaker 1: and he would talk to her for hours, probably because
- 55:03Speaker 1: he could not believe she actually wanted to talk to him.
- 55:07Speaker 1: She had been single for years because she has a
- 55:10Speaker 1: certain type of man she's attracted to. No man was
- 55:13Speaker 1: ever good enough for her, so I was surprised when
- 55:16Speaker 1: I saw this little creature she was talking to. This
- 55:22Speaker 1: is the line though right here. He's the ugliest little
- 55:25Speaker 1: man I have ever seen. He is short and creepy looking,
- 55:32Speaker 1: with very harsh, jagged features. I sent this picture to
- 55:36Speaker 1: my other girlfriends in our group. In our group text
- 55:40Speaker 1: and they nicknamed him the Little Gremlin. The worst part
- 55:43Speaker 1: of it is there's nothing we can do about it,
- 55:46Speaker 1: because she says he has the best personality of any
- 55:48Speaker 1: man she's ever dated. We try to pretend we're happy
- 55:51Speaker 1: for her, but we had to ask if she's planning
- 55:54Speaker 1: to have a baby with this man. She told us
- 55:56Speaker 1: that she and the Little Gremlin are planning to start
- 55:58Speaker 1: a family in me at least, So we're thinking we
- 56:01Speaker 1: need to have a heart to heart talk with her
- 56:03Speaker 1: before we have to babysit baby gremlins one day. We
- 56:07Speaker 1: know the type of men she's attracted to. We think
- 56:10Speaker 1: that being stuck in the house alone for four months
- 56:12Speaker 1: took its told on her mentally. I know you're thinking
- 56:16Speaker 1: that this is none of our business, but if we
- 56:19Speaker 1: really believe this was a man for her, we would
- 56:21Speaker 1: step aside. It's our place to save her. Don't you agree? No?
- 56:26Speaker 1: I do not agree, and you already know that it's
- 56:30Speaker 1: not your business. What you really want to know is
- 56:33Speaker 1: would it be all right if you slapped some sense
- 56:35Speaker 1: into her. I think that's what you're really asking at
- 56:38Speaker 1: this point, And you know we don't condone violence on
- 56:40Speaker 1: this show. So no, But as the saying goes, and
- 56:44Speaker 1: you've heard it before, I'm sure. I'm sure beauty is
- 56:47Speaker 1: in the eye of the beholder, and your friend obviously
- 56:50Speaker 1: sees something in him, pandemic or not. Seriously, and have
- 56:55Speaker 1: you even met the guy, because I've seen well, I
- 56:59Speaker 1: won't say, but I've seen very unattractive guys get the
- 57:03Speaker 1: most beautiful women, and for a whole lot of reasons,
- 57:07Speaker 1: like swags ahead, I've seen it, a whole lot of
- 57:12Speaker 1: reasons like swag personalities you mentioned in the letter Kindness conversation.
- 57:18Speaker 1: You know, maybe they've seen him interact with their kids.
- 57:20Speaker 1: They're a good dad, they're a gentleman, and of course,
- 57:23Speaker 1: lots and lots of money always helps if you're very unattractive.
- 57:27Speaker 1: Two of my good girlfriends have told me that they
- 57:30Speaker 1: quote love ugly guys. They say ugly guys work harder
- 57:36Speaker 1: to please them. They say ugly guys take care of them,
- 57:39Speaker 1: and ugly guys are more appreciative of them. So maybe
- 57:42Speaker 1: your friend is not crazy, you know, like you think
- 57:45Speaker 1: after all, you know, you said, she may have some
- 57:47Speaker 1: sort of mental problem. Maybe this little man, as you
- 57:50Speaker 1: call him, this little Grimlin brings something other than looks
- 57:54Speaker 1: to the table and has touched your friend's heart like
- 57:56Speaker 1: no man has before. He's got to be a heck
- 57:59Speaker 1: of a guy to get your friend, and looks aren't everything.
- 58:03Speaker 1: They really aren't. So stay out of her business friend
- 58:06Speaker 1: and just be happy for her friend. Steve. Well, you know,
- 58:15Speaker 1: here we go. Now I give you my response to
- 58:18Speaker 1: this letter once again. Don't email me, don't text me,
- 58:23Speaker 1: don't tweet me. I don't care. I don't care. Somebody
- 58:27Speaker 1: on this show has to tell the raw, uncut, edited truth.
- 58:33Speaker 1: Lou Grimlin is here to stay. You got a thirty
- 58:36Speaker 1: three year old single woman and your friend recently got engaged.
- 58:43Speaker 1: Now she known this man for less than a year,
- 58:47Speaker 1: and y'all close knit. And during the quarantine, one of
- 58:52Speaker 1: your girlfriends got bored and started to talk to a
- 58:54Speaker 1: guy she met in the airport. I thought y'all was quarantine,
- 58:58Speaker 1: so she met this dude in the airport. We think
- 59:01Speaker 1: she got lonely at home alone and nothing to do,
- 59:05Speaker 1: and the little man feel avoid now right away on
- 59:09Speaker 1: this show when we say little man, i'm our mind
- 59:13Speaker 1: or gravitates to a certain person. But this is not him.
- 59:18Speaker 1: This letter has nothing to do with him, because it's
- 59:22Speaker 1: you know, they described this man as a little grimling,
- 59:26Speaker 1: and you know he's not that. You know, she's been
- 59:29Speaker 1: single for some years and certain type of man she's trained,
- 59:32Speaker 1: and no man ever been good enough for so when
- 59:35Speaker 1: they were surprised when they saw this little creature. Now,
- 59:38Speaker 1: our little man has never been referred to as a
- 59:40Speaker 1: little creature. So once again, less not even think that
- 59:45Speaker 1: because he is not a little creature statue at all.
- 59:50Speaker 1: Never nobody ever said little grimling, nor none like that.
- 59:53Speaker 1: Just little man all we've ever and this is the
- 59:58Speaker 1: ugliest man I've ever seen. Wow, the ugliest man you've
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: ever seen, which once again removes our little man because
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: he is not the ugliest man you've ever seen, because
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: we're not attractive in our family, but we're not just
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: flat out blue. Now, all right with you today? I
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: deal with this when we come back. Yeah, we have
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: coming up. That's a little gremlins here to stay as
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: the subject. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Morning Show. All right, Steve, come on,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject of the little
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: gremlin is here to stay. Well, we got this thirty
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: two year old single woman and one of her best
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: friends got engaged to a man she's known less than
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: a year. Now. They are a tight group of girlfriends
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: and they all single. All of them is single before
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: the quarantine. But one of their girlfriends met this guy
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: in the airport and they say that just got tired
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: of being alone and met this little man that feel
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: a void. She looked forward to talking to him daily
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: and he would talk to her for hours. Seat Now,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: the problem that they haven't with this is is that
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: this is not her type of guy, and no man
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: has ever been good enough before. And they were surprised
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: when they saw this little creature that she was talking to.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: He is the ugliest man I have ever seen. Now,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: let me explain something to y'all. Let let me explain
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: something to y'all. This is the ugliest man you've ever seen.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: He has spent hours talking to her. Let me explain
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: something to you about ugly people when you talk back
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: to them. They are surprised anyway, because like, like, if
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: you're real ugly you're talking to me, I keep it
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: briefe because I'm looking at you the whole time, and
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: I know me so let me just keep this brief
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: for I say something because the girl show on my face. Hey, Steve,
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: how you doing m I saw you on NFL Honors.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: You looked real nice. You did a great job. Yeah,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: I appreciate that. All right, Hey listen, I gotta go.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: But wait a minute, Steve, but I wanted to ask
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: you were those sparklies on your jacket? Were those real
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: diamonds of rhinestone? Yes, yes, yes, yes, I'm gonna talk
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: to you. I got to go. Baby sick, baby babies.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna say something something to get out of it. Yeah,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: we gotta do that. So anyway, now, he's the ugliest
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: man you've ever seen. He's short and creepy looking, with
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: very harsh, jagged features. I sent a picture to my
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: other girlfriends in group tick and they nicknamed him a
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: little Grimy. All right, now, let's just call him Little
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Grimly or LG. Now. LG has been talking to this
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: woman for hours, because ugly people are shocked when people
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: talk back. So they're good conversationalists because they have a
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: lot of time to sit around and imagine what they
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: would say if somebody would stop long enough to talk
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: to him and ugly people can talk a lot longer
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: on the phone because it ain't no uq ain't got
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: nothing to focus on them. Yeah, and the key to
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: being ugly is you gots to be nice. That's the
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: key to being ugly. What you cannot do is be
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: ugly and rude, because now, ain't nobody got no time
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: for you. Ugly people are some of the sweetest people
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: I've ever met, promise you not all the time that
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: some of them has let the ugliness affect them Ugly, ugly, ugly. Well,
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: since I'm ugly, watched this and that that's the wrong approach.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: If you're gonna be ugly, you want to be kind,
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: So somebody want to be bothered with you? Now, little
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: Grimlin that y'all called him as obviously has mastered the
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: art of kindness, shivalry, conversation, sweet and so now the
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: worst part of this is that there's nothing they say
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: they can do about it, because she says he has
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: the best personality of any man she's ever dated. He
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: got to he got to, you developed these skills. Let
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: me give you a personal story. I've never considered myself
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: to be an attractive man because I was never encouraged
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: in the attractive arena arena. When I was younger, a
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: matter of fact, everything geared towards me was to let
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: me know what was wrong with me. I was such
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: a kind young guy, you know, I was always nice,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: but they forced me into being difficult with some of
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: the reactions I was getting from girls. You know. I
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: asked a girl to go to the prom, and she
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: said knowing. Then I asked her why, and I kept
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: pressing or why she didn't won't go to the problem
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: with me? She said, because I don't like your facial features.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: That's a little shocking as a young man, you know
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: what I mean. It was crushing to me, you know,
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: very hurtful of me. So I had to focus, Okay,
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: how can I what can I do to get these
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: women to quit focusing on these obviously very large facial features.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: That was that was crippling my dating game. So I
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: developed my sense of humor. Where I was, I was
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: always smiling, and they was at least glad to see me.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: So when I walked into the room, they were glad
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: to see little Stevie because he was he was he
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: was happy, and I had a human If I had
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: you laughing, I just you know, and all of a
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: sudden they leaned over and touching me on my shoulder,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: laughing and stuff, you know, like get in touch. So
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: if that's where to get, so get funnier. So I
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: hold my skills as a comedian because women enjoyed it,
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: and that's one of the things. And so what little
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: Gremlin was doing, the little gremlin has developed the best
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: personality and day now they try to pretend they're happy
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: for But we asked if she was planning to have
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: a baby with this man, and she told us that
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: she and the Little Gremlin is gonna planning on starting
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: the family immediately. Well, y'all gotta get ready to start
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: making I think I'm gonna have to come back on
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: this letter because I don't have the time to take
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: you now. If they have this start this family immediately,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: there are some words that you're gonna have to learn
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: to help you when you see this baby hold on
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: and I had him for you. When we come back
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: to Stay Part three right after this you're listening show. Okay,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: this is one of those times we rarely do this,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: but this is one of those times when we do.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: Steve felt the need to do a Part three of
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: the Strawberry letter, for say, the subject the little Gremlin
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: is here to stay. So here's the whole thing. I'm
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: gonna just recapture very quickly. This young woman, she's thirty two.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: She's got a girlfriend and they've been in quarantine. She
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: met a man in the airport and after just one year,
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: she's engaged. The problem that they're very close knit group
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: of friends have is they've labeled him the little Gremlin.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: They've said, this is the ugliest little creature that they
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: have ever seen. He has very jagged fitts, so obviously
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: to them, this boy's tore up. But the girl says,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: this man has the first best personality of any man
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: she's ever dated. They are engaged. The girlfriends are concerned
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: because they maybe they just think this is going too far,
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: too fast. And then so they tried to pretend that
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: they was happy for but they asked her if she's
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: planning on having a baby with this man. She told
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: them they're gonna start a family immediately. I don't know,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: this is none of our business. We think we stuck
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: in the house alone. They don't. They scared the babysit
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: the baby because they don't know what it's going, well,
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: the baby gonna be tow up just off the back.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: You think this baby don't have a chance of being
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: cute if this man is a little grimlin. There are
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: some words you're gonna have to learn when you see
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: the baby, and they have to be complimentary words, but
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: allow you to get it out at the same time.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: As soon as you see the baby, first thing you
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: should say is oh my God. That's a compliment, but
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: it's also relief. Here's another one. Look at this little
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: bundle of joy. See that Jesus. Sweet things you can
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: say the people that show you ugly babies. Then here's
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: another one that I use when I see real ugly baby.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Don't you give you wing your booboo? Baby, baby talk coming?
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: And that what I said when you union booboo, which
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: translation me, when you look jet like somebody's ass booboo.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: You're gonna need to know that. Then here's another when
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: you want to say, Lord Jesus, yeah, that's like a
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: compliment and a prayer. And then here's the one I use.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: When my boy Onion showed me his baby for the
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: first time. I looked at that little boy. He opened
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: up that blanket. I said, boy, you look jet like
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: your daddy, your favorite go to You need all these
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: terms when you see this, baby, you're listening show all right, Steve,
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: come on, let's go to the phones and talk to
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: the people. Eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve, let's go
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: to line one and talk to Stephen out of Alabama.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: Who is it, Stephen? His name is Steven, Hey, Stephen, baby? Hey, Hey,
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: what's going on? Man? What's on your mind today? How
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: are you doing? Mister Harvey and Crewe? Good morning once again,
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: I listen to y'all, Love you, shell morning, Thank you. Man. Hey,
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: did you see the streaker that came on the field
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: yesterday at the game? Yes? Yes, yes, wasn't that crazy?
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: Wasn't that crazy? I'm from I'm from New I lived
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: down here in Alabama. Now I'm from New England, Foxborough
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: where Tom Brady is, where gold is. But he did
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: his thing. Patrick, shouldn't never let him go? And uh
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: I'll see him retired and ut five years old and
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: then get another championship. Well, Steven, let me be the first,
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: as a Cleveland Browns fan to say we don't really
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: give a damn that the Patriots are not in the playoffs.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: I've hated Boston with everything in me mind, tire life
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: ever since they flipped over that black school bus years ago.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: So we appreciate you moving Alabama because at least we'll
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: take your call. My radio show don't even take call
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: from Foxborough. So thank you for moving. Other than that,
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: we wouldn't even be talking in the playoffs and the
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: Browns was. We're gonna like and talk to Alvin out
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: of Atlanta, Steve Alvin, Alvin, Alvin line too, Alvin? Hello,
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: Hey Alvin? What's on your mind? Man? What's going on?
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: Nothing much? Man? Thank you miss Harvard for taking my call.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: I'm down hard Atlanta saying so, I don't want to
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: get in trouble with you about no football, so let
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: me just go ahead and get to the point. Thank
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: you so much, True for being the interractional team that
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: you are. Love you all, my son. Attending your minnering
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: camp sometimes though, it was absolutely amazing, And because of
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: your advice to me about jumping and not only having faith,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: of stepping out on faith, I did just that, and
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: because of that I am a very wildly successful blues artist.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: I got my first major record deal and allowed me
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: to buy my home for me and my kids as
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: a single father. It has been nothing but a great journey.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: Thank you, mister Harvard for investing in people. You are
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: the voice and you you talked to us about voting
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: and everything you said came true. Man. We just we
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: love you and we appreciate you all and lowly lived
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: a Steve Harvard Morning Show. Yes, Alvin, that was pretty boss, man.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: I appreciate ain't that man? Album took the jump. Man's
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: got to do that. Yeah, in the morning show, Man,
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: we were so committed last year. I'm very proud of
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: that for that the team put forward for voting and
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: everything that they did, Man to keep everybody informed and
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: appreciate those words of encouragement. Album we accepted. Thank you.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: We got time for another with Sherlitan. Yeah, let's go
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: to line three and talk to units out of Maryland.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: You and this yes seven five. I love you guys.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: I listened to you every mornings. Miche when were you born?
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: I'm a DC girl. I mean I'm three generations. I
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: mean I'm a real DC girl. Okay, DCG I'm not
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: at a k D. Okay, you're not gonna answer the question. Okay,
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: where he said before nineteen said anybody named Dave units
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: after that. But I'm Timothy's mother in the Bible. Steve, Now, yeah, no,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: I don't know. Ain't nothing wrong with unis. It's just
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: you know, has you know that cage to it? That's anyway,
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: I love you anyway. Yeah, you have the president vice
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: president here, and two things close to my heart is
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: that education things feel they're doing. They make everything in
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: this country like a welfare program, and I wish they
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: would make this education thing for all kids going to
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: college and maybe make the criteria they have to have
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: a BOC average or whatever. The second thing close to
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: my heart is water. If they can do legislation to
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: make instead of us having to go out and by
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: water all the time, the part of whoever I'm gonna
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: make their name up, I'm sorry, but it don't make
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: nonsense and legislation to make them bring the water up
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: to the level they need to be, the same level
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: that those water companies bring it up. I'm trying well,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: but you know, hold on, I want to address that question.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: Can we come back? Yeah, we have anyway, All right,
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: the time, We'll be back with more of the Steve
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show right after that you're listening to Steve
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, so listen Steve, you are trending, okay.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: You know from when you hosted the NFL Honors on
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: Saturday night, people just love your monologue. Take a listen
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: to this. Do you know how good it feels to
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: be a Browns fan and we make the playoffs and
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: the Patriots don't. Do you know how good that feels?
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: Jarvis Landry, thank you man, from the bottom of my
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: hark from a Cleveland boy all his life, die hard clean.
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: We're in the playoffs, man, I don't give a damn
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: if though none of y'all cloud the Browns is in
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: the playoffs. And if your ass ain't clapping, if you
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: on the screen, hey, your ass ain't in the playoffs either.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: So let's just spread it around us. You know, they
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: have fass clapping in Football Player, but y'all might work
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: not getting mad at me because you're in the playoffs either.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: Why you're on the screen. Everybody in the playoffs in Temple,
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: I think they were not clapping because they were in disbelief.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: Is he really saying this stuff? Yeah? But a lot
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: of the clear brown fans and Buffalo Bill fans. They
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: were retweeting that because they were happy you were saying
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: that I thought the system was a good show. Yeah,
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: Like Shirley said, all right, we'll have more of the
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show thirty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Listen.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: I mean the Super Bowl, what can you say? Great game?
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: Would you guys consider that a great game? I thought
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: I thought it was a great game because it's stunned everybody.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: First of all, Tampa Bay were underdogs. M true, Tampa
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: Bay was underdogs and dog for them to play the
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: way they played. But you know I was I told everybody,
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: I said, hey, you know, I'm pulled for Patrick mahone
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: because that's what but I say, I'm scared of Tampa Bay.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: When you looked at this team, this team, Tampa Bay
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: was in the top five offensive teams in football and
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: the top five defensive teams in football. Kansas Cities in
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: the top offense, but their defense wasn't in the top nothing.
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: So you got to deal with that. The top fifteen
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: players in the NFL in the Tampa Bay and and
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: and and um uh, Tampa Bay in Kansas City. I
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: think I'm saying this. Rights has fifteen of the top
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: players in the NFL. Five of them is on Kansas City.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: Then mother ten is over. There were on Tampa Bay,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: you know, and when nobody really thinking about this, and
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: then they played in Tampa Bay. This is their home field.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: Like that last interception, They couldn't add what that guy said,
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: but he said this my blanket, the blank house, and
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: and and you know you it's hard to kicker dudes
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: tail in his house. It's hard to whipper man in
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: his house. Yeah. Yeah, what about the streaker though, all
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: the way down to the one yard that's got way
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: closer to Kansas City ever, got I think the Chiefs
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: gonna sign him this morning. Rested yards, Yeah, yeah, more
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: rested yards, all of the running backs for Kansas City.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: Everybody thought that Tampa that Kansas City had a chance.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: When they stopped uh, Tampa Bay on the goal line stance,
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: that was a strong, strong stance. And I wasn't really
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: worried about the game in the first half because my
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: home they played such a thing. But my home was
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: running the entire game running for a while. Yeah, So
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: this this is history, right, Tampa Bay won the first
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: team to win the Super Bowl in their home right city. Right, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: that's his story. Right. And you know what else, what
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: about the female referee that was the first? Ye Yeah,
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: nobody excited about that. Whatever women were, Yeah cool, you
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: know what, No, I really was. I mean she was
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: a referee. Good job. I mean she did, she did
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: a good job. She didn't make no mistakes. You know,
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: made history. It was a super Bowl. I ain't kidding
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: about that. I was watching the Super Bowl. I got
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: money on this game. I'll give a damn you have
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: ponytail all you won't sticking out the back of your head.
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: What I kill? I'm trying to win this paper up
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: in hill. All right, coming up, Last break of the day,
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: closing from Steve a forty nine minutes after right after this,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, here we
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: are Steve, Last break of the day on this Monday,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: Super Bowl yesterday. It's great super Bowl. Yeah, super Monday,
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: that's what we're calling it, of course. Yeah, yeah, it was.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: It was fun. It was great. Even Um, I sat
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: down and watched a lot of it. Yeah, oh good,
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: you watched it. Sat down and watched a lot of it.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: I'm excited. Surely sat down and watched a lot of
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: it because I was. I was cheering for Tom Brady.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: I was because I loved his story. I just liked
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: his story. Seven super Bowl rings, Boy, goat, you got seven?
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: Huh and seven out of ten. That's a pretty good one.
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: He's the greatest team sport athlete, the greatest team sport
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: accomplishment of any athlete. Because it's so hard to get
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: to the super Bowl. It's so hard. Oh he made
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: it look so easy. He posted like he's the Tom
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: Brady just went to a team. Y'all want to go
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: to the super Bowl? Yea? Who want to go to
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: the super Bowl? You know? Like, and I think like
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: in terms of sports, like you know, it's always been
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: thought of as the greatest team sport athletes, it's been
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: Michael Jordan and in basketball. In basketball, there's an argument
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: now because and I've been listening to people's argument about
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: who's the greatest basketball player of all time? Is it
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: Jordan or is it Lebron? And um, you know, man,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: Jordan had six NBA titles, never went to an NBA
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: finals and lost, and he played basketball in a different
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: era and the young cats today don't understand what that
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: era of basketball was. What no flagrant five house? I mean, man,
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: them cats, and they had some dudes that stayed in
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: the paint that made your life Russ. And it was
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: a totally physical game of basketball. Basketball was a physical game.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: And he won six Lebron has won how many now,
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: Junior Folk four? Lebron has won it on three different teams. Yeah,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: And it was great for me because he came back
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: to Cleveland and one one, it was in Miami, one two.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: Then he went to La and LA and one another.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: Everywhere this guy goes, Man, he's championship material. So he
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: is making a strong argument to be known as the
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: greatest basketball player of all time. Has it surpassed Jordan yet?
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: He's very very close, and an argument can be made
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: for him right now. And if I had to pick
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: between the two of them right now, at this particular moment,
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: it would be very hard for me. Man, I'm gonna
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: tell you right now, it's very hard for me because
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: I love this cat man because he came to Cleaning
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: and gave Cleaning the title. But he in La and
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: he got another one. And this is a bad dude
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: and his social consciousness is sold sold crazy man, the
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: schools and stuff he's doing, you know. And I think
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: Michael got a bad rap for not being socially conscious,
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: but he was. But they took some stuff he said
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: and they and they put it in a negative way
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: to hold comment about, you know, Republicans by shoes too.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: I think a lot of people took that out of
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: contacts as he didn't care, but Michael Dill's can. And
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: then you know what I mean, he just gave for
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: this new cause, Black Lives Me one hundred million. I mean,
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: you know, not to say he didn't before, but now
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: we're hearing about it for one hundred million, you can
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: say you are the great. Yeah. But I do like
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: I do like the young people today man, because I'm
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: gonna tell you something, Black Lives Matter movement really really
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: made a difference and it's rivaling I mean what Civil
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: Rights movement was. I'm you know, for those of you
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: that's not old enough to know this, you know, but
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: I was. I was alive when they was talking about
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: black people, Kate drink out of this water fountain. Black
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: people had to go to this. They had colors only
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: water fountains in West Virginia. You know what I'm standing.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: They had you know, colors only restrooms in West Virginia.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: You know, I'm old enough to have seen that. And
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: so civil rights, that was times when blacks couldn't eat
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: at certain lunch counters. That was times when black people
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: had to go to the back door gas station. This
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: was still happening down south in the eighties. Oh by
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: the way, in eighty five, two black comedians couldn't perform
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: on the same show in the comedy club in nineteen
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: eighty five, the year I started, So don't it's not
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: far removed of what we see today. But civil rights
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: made a huge accomplishment till to bussing, to housing, to education,
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: affirmative action, lunch counters, all types of stuff. Them boys,
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: and civil rights was tough. But this new movement of
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: Black Lives Matter was very, very powerful, and social media
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: and the news coverage made it goal and they joined forces.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: And the reason Biden and Kamala Harrison in the White
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: House today is because of basketball players and football players
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: and rappers and all listen people who joined force and
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: and made a very very active difference, you know, and
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: the young activists out there that Tamika Maoris and the
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: Charlemagne's and these young casts out here. There's lions that
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: roar loud with their platforms. It's what made a big difference.
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: So I want to say, I'm very proud of Black
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: Lives Matter movement. I'm very very proud of the young
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: people who stood up and made a huge difference with
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: voting and Stay Abrams and people like that who really
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: were foot soldiers in all of this. So yes, sir God, Yeah,
