- 2:07Speaker 1: dog me now want and only Steve Harvey's got a
- 2:13Speaker 1: radio show, yoh man. God is in the blessing business
- 2:16Speaker 1: all day every day. God got hundreds of millions of
- 2:21Speaker 1: blessings that he passes out every day. All I wanna
- 2:25Speaker 1: do is be the recipient that I'm the recipient of
- 2:30Speaker 1: what He has for me. That's all I want. I
- 2:35Speaker 1: just want God's favor, and I go. I want God's blessings.
- 2:40Speaker 1: You know, of course I need his mercy and his grace,
- 2:44Speaker 1: but I just want his blessings and his favor. I want.
- 2:50Speaker 1: I want that in my life because it does things
- 2:52Speaker 1: for me that I'm absolutely incapable of doing for myself.
- 2:57Speaker 1: And I've been a recipient of many of those, and
- 3:00Speaker 1: you can be the recipient of them too. You already are, really, really,
- 3:05Speaker 1: you already are. If you're getting up every morning, that's
- 3:09Speaker 1: a blessed. If you're getting one day closer to anything
- 3:13Speaker 1: you're trying to accomplish, that's a blessing. But now let's
- 3:16Speaker 1: let me let me talk to you about this part
- 3:18Speaker 1: right here, folks, because this is the part that messages
- 3:20Speaker 1: people up a great deal. What happens when you get
- 3:24Speaker 1: off track? What is that? What does that mean? When
- 3:28Speaker 1: you get off track? See, I've been off track. I
- 3:34Speaker 1: can't tell you how many times, and it happens in
- 3:37Speaker 1: so many aspects of your life. But but what is
- 3:40Speaker 1: it that makes getting off track so debilitating to some people?
- 3:45Speaker 1: You know, there are some people who want to stay
- 3:47Speaker 1: off track, They off course, they off the dream, they
- 3:51Speaker 1: own to something else. And you cannot allow the fact
- 3:55Speaker 1: that you've gotten off track to stop you can. I
- 4:01Speaker 1: tell you something. Everybody gets off track. Nobody does a
- 4:07Speaker 1: diet exactly, meal per meal, calorie by calorie exactly. Everybody
- 4:14Speaker 1: makes mistakes, But somehow. There are people who have made
- 4:19Speaker 1: a success of themselves. There are people who are living
- 4:24Speaker 1: their life's dreams. There are people who lose weight in
- 4:31Speaker 1: spite of getting off track. See what happens when you
- 4:34Speaker 1: get off track. Here's the simple thing to do. The
- 4:37Speaker 1: simple thing is just to get back on track. Now
- 4:40Speaker 1: that's that's but that's easier said than done, ain't it,
- 4:43Speaker 1: Steve Yeah? Because see people, when you get off track.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Here's some of the things that happened. See you get
- 4:49Speaker 1: the Here comes tony sayers, some of them from the outside,
- 4:54Speaker 1: some of them internally. Here's what gets said when you
- 4:58Speaker 1: get off track. See I told you, I told you,
- 5:05Speaker 1: you know you. You you start hearing that it's not
- 5:09Speaker 1: for you. Okay, this is all just because you got
- 5:15Speaker 1: off track. It's not for you. Okay. Here's another one.
- 5:19Speaker 1: It ain't meant to be. You can hear it all.
- 5:23Speaker 1: You could say it. Well, I guess it's just not
- 5:26Speaker 1: meant to be. These are all things that people say
- 5:30Speaker 1: to themselves once they get off track. You can't do it, well,
- 5:36Speaker 1: I don't guess I can do it. Here's another one.
- 5:40Speaker 1: I thought you said that you was gonna make it.
- 5:45Speaker 1: You know, I was show hoping I could have made it.
- 5:47Speaker 1: It comes external or internal. But these are just some
- 5:51Speaker 1: of the things that's that I thought you said you
- 5:54Speaker 1: was gonna lose weight. Well, you know I had tried
- 5:57Speaker 1: to lose some weight. I'm just going down the list
- 6:01Speaker 1: of some of the things that goes through a person's
- 6:05Speaker 1: mind when they get off track. But let me ask
- 6:08Speaker 1: you a question. Who made the rule that when you
- 6:13Speaker 1: get off track you can't get back on? Who Who
- 6:17Speaker 1: made that rule? Where has that written that once you
- 6:21Speaker 1: get off track you can't get back on? See, because
- 6:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you something, folks, there's no such rule.
- 6:29Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, it's it's quite the opposite. See,
- 6:35Speaker 1: everybody in pursuit of a dream, a goal, and aspiration
- 6:40Speaker 1: or a mission, it's going to get off track. Sometimes
- 6:44Speaker 1: you're going to get derailed. They're going to be days
- 6:47Speaker 1: where you're not going to get it right. That are
- 6:50Speaker 1: going to be days where you feel like giving up.
- 6:52Speaker 1: There's going to be days when you're just gonna flat
- 6:54Speaker 1: out get it wrong. That's the journey. But let me
- 6:58Speaker 1: tell you something. Every six scessful person that I know
- 7:01Speaker 1: ever met talked to set out and chopped it up
- 7:04Speaker 1: with have shared one thing in common. We all get
- 7:07Speaker 1: off track. We all get it wrong along the way.
- 7:12Speaker 1: I don't care who the person is. The president got
- 7:15Speaker 1: it wrong along the way. Your pastor got it wrong
- 7:20Speaker 1: along the way, quite directed who I got it wrong
- 7:23Speaker 1: along the way. The principle at your school got it
- 7:26Speaker 1: wrong along the way. The valor victoria of your class
- 7:30Speaker 1: got it wrong along the way. The star of the
- 7:35Speaker 1: team got it wrong along the way. They've all been
- 7:40Speaker 1: off track. Your boss down at your job, he got
- 7:44Speaker 1: it wrong along the way. Your immediate supervisor got it
- 7:47Speaker 1: wrong along the way. Everybody I know that has any
- 7:53Speaker 1: measure of success in every in every level that you
- 7:56Speaker 1: call success, however you want to label it, has gotten
- 7:59Speaker 1: a track. As a matter of fact, it's impossible. Listen
- 8:06Speaker 1: to me, it is umpossible not to get off track
- 8:12Speaker 1: in pursuit of your dreams, goals, visions, aspirations. It is impossible.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Don't you let nobody tell you that they got through
- 8:22Speaker 1: life unscathed, that they made it because they was just
- 8:26Speaker 1: so determined and I would let nothing turn me back. Yeah,
- 8:30Speaker 1: you might not have let nothing turn you back because
- 8:32Speaker 1: you're here. Oh but you thought about it, Oh, you
- 8:36Speaker 1: thought about it on days when you was off track.
- 8:39Speaker 1: But see, people don't like to tell the whole story.
- 8:42Speaker 1: They just want you to think as much as you
- 8:44Speaker 1: can about them. So when they tell you that story,
- 8:47Speaker 1: they leave out the stuff alone. The way it was
- 8:50Speaker 1: just hard work and determination that got me here. No
- 8:53Speaker 1: it wasn't, No, it wasn't. It was the fact that
- 8:56Speaker 1: you got off track and the grace and mercy of
- 8:59Speaker 1: God allowed you to get back on. His forgiveness allowed
- 9:03Speaker 1: you to get back on because you would not believe
- 9:05Speaker 1: what some of the people have done. So when you
- 9:08Speaker 1: get off track, don't allow the nay sayers outside and
- 9:13Speaker 1: the big nay sayer inside, because let me tell you something,
- 9:17Speaker 1: the biggest nay sayer of them all comes from inside. See,
- 9:21Speaker 1: it don't matter what other people say out there. They
- 9:23Speaker 1: takes some time for you to learn this. And I
- 9:25Speaker 1: understand because it took me some time to learn it. See,
- 9:28Speaker 1: I have a lot of nay sayers out there, but
- 9:31Speaker 1: I ain't operating for them, operating function for the ones
- 9:35Speaker 1: that love me, for the ones that get me, for
- 9:38Speaker 1: the ones that understand what I'm really trying to do.
- 9:41Speaker 1: And so don't you be the one that doesn't allow
- 9:47Speaker 1: yourself to get back on track when you get off track, Because,
- 9:50Speaker 1: like I said, who made the rule up that you
- 9:53Speaker 1: can't get back on track? There's no such rule out there.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Stop stopping her self from getting it right. So what
- 10:03Speaker 1: you started to diet at the beginning of the year,
- 10:06Speaker 1: and you already off start another one, start over, try
- 10:12Speaker 1: it again, don't ever stop trying. If you stop trying,
- 10:16Speaker 1: you can't make it. But if you never give up
- 10:18Speaker 1: the effort, if you never give up and say it's over,
- 10:22Speaker 1: it ain't over. You heard the saying it ain't over
- 10:24Speaker 1: to the fat ladies, saying I never invite her. She's
- 10:29Speaker 1: not invited. It ain't over to the fat ladies saying
- 10:34Speaker 1: I don't know where the fat ladies stay. I have
- 10:37Speaker 1: not sent her an invitation to none of my events.
- 10:40Speaker 1: She's not welcome here. She didn't ask me a couple
- 10:44Speaker 1: of times. How come I never get invited? Because you're
- 10:47Speaker 1: gonna start saying it and I ain't got time for that.
- 10:51Speaker 1: All right, stop inviting the fat lady to all your events.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Thank you. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls.
- 11:04Speaker 1: You are listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. It
- 11:07Speaker 1: is official it's here, it's today. It's going down right now.
- 11:11Speaker 1: I am Steve Harvey. The following people I will announced
- 11:15Speaker 1: to you are responsible for the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Without them, this whole thing would not be possible because
- 11:21Speaker 1: no one would motivate me to come in here every day. Therefore,
- 11:25Speaker 1: without them, there is no us. And I'm serious about that.
- 11:29Speaker 1: The moment Shirley Tommy Jr. Leave As you're done. I
- 11:35Speaker 1: can't do this by myself. Here to be four hours
- 11:38Speaker 1: of this damn radio. You're never be tuning there? Go? Man?
- 11:41Speaker 1: What is he up? That? Did you hear what Steve said?
- 11:45Speaker 1: He tripped? He just stopped talking for fifteen minutes. We're
- 11:50Speaker 1: gonna play in the background. But do you ever just
- 11:53Speaker 1: get tired of talking though? Just talking? Yeah? I really do.
- 11:58Speaker 1: This weekend was really really enlightening for me because you know,
- 12:02Speaker 1: my wife had something really really important to do and
- 12:05Speaker 1: I couldn't be a part of it. So we couldn't
- 12:07Speaker 1: go to the derby like we had play we at
- 12:10Speaker 1: all but we've never been. We've been playing on going
- 12:12Speaker 1: to the derby. We worked it all out and then
- 12:15Speaker 1: something came up. My wife couldn't get out of a
- 12:17Speaker 1: commitment she forgotten about. So I don't want to go
- 12:20Speaker 1: by myself, you know. And so I went to play
- 12:23Speaker 1: golf and I didn't have to talk as much. You know,
- 12:26Speaker 1: a lot of cussing. You know, all don't go where
- 12:28Speaker 1: you wanted to go. That's different, you know how you
- 12:33Speaker 1: ask can't hit the ball? Man? Oh I do that?
- 12:40Speaker 1: What the hell? Hey man? I hit one. Good morning everybody.
- 12:45Speaker 1: How y'all doing. Let me tell you what I did.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I'm off the te box. I hit the ball into
- 12:52Speaker 1: a fair way barker, which is a saying trap up
- 12:54Speaker 1: the fairway. I had a good shot to hit about
- 12:57Speaker 1: two forty. It rolled off into the saying trap. Uh,
- 13:02Speaker 1: I'm up against the lips. So I try to punch
- 13:05Speaker 1: it out just to get it in the fairway. I
- 13:08Speaker 1: hit it too hard. It rolls across the fairway into
- 13:11Speaker 1: another sand trap. All right, come out of that saying trap.
- 13:19Speaker 1: I hit it trying to make it to the green.
- 13:22Speaker 1: I hit it into the sand trap on the side
- 13:26Speaker 1: of the green at two forty. Dry was nice for me.
- 13:31Speaker 1: So I've hurt it. Now I'm on the side of
- 13:33Speaker 1: the green. I get it out the trap again. I'm
- 13:38Speaker 1: up on the green. But I'm forty feet from the
- 13:41Speaker 1: stick from the hole. Now that's my part, my part
- 13:46Speaker 1: putting for part forty feet away. I missed that I
- 13:50Speaker 1: bo get. I felt really good because I bow get
- 13:53Speaker 1: that hole. Because I've been in every singing trap and
- 13:56Speaker 1: just one over that's like outstanding for me. I did
- 13:59Speaker 1: really good. Here's my problem. And I know you are
- 14:03Speaker 1: not gonna understand this, but on two paw threes, on
- 14:07Speaker 1: two paw threes, I triple bogey. On Sunday, I shot
- 14:14Speaker 1: at nine. You're playing, you're behind off. Surely you don't understand.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I heard that I shot at ninety yesterday. I ain't
- 14:22Speaker 1: shot at ninety At a minute, you've been you've been
- 14:25Speaker 1: shooting eighties, seven, eight nine. Lord, let's just go break. Okay, well, listen,
- 14:33Speaker 1: coming up at thirty two after something funny, and uh,
- 14:36Speaker 1: I gotta tell you about Meek Mill, what he did
- 14:38Speaker 1: when a Philly fan asked him for an autograph. Okay,
- 14:42Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright,
- 14:47Speaker 1: it is time for something funny. But first you guys
- 14:50Speaker 1: know Meek Mill. Of course he's out of jail now
- 14:53Speaker 1: helicopter Yeah yeah, yeah, So me Meek was at the
- 14:57Speaker 1: seventies Sixers in Celtics game when a Philly fan just
- 15:00Speaker 1: walked up to him and asked him to sign a
- 15:02Speaker 1: custom Eagles jersey that read free Meek on the back
- 15:07Speaker 1: of it. Okay, that's what I had in the back.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Meek happily obliged, but rather than just signing his name,
- 15:13Speaker 1: Meek sign did Meek free? I love that make free
- 15:18Speaker 1: exclamation mark? Okay, must feel good to be free after
- 15:23Speaker 1: all that time. And uh, you know it just made
- 15:27Speaker 1: me think of you, Steve, because I know, yeah it
- 15:30Speaker 1: is Meek free, yeah, me free yeah instead of Meek
- 15:33Speaker 1: mill make free. Oh. I thought, if you flip it over,
- 15:37Speaker 1: you freak meat, right, freak me. You just sounded like
- 15:42Speaker 1: freak me if you flip it over, but meek freak
- 15:45Speaker 1: meek free meet free. Yeah all freak meat? What do you?
- 15:52Speaker 1: What do you say? Anyway? Because yeah, it reminded me
- 15:55Speaker 1: of you. How you hate giving autographs and pictures and
- 15:59Speaker 1: all that stuff up. You know, you just don't when
- 16:01Speaker 1: you're in your your your zone and your flow and
- 16:04Speaker 1: you're walking, you hate for people to stop you and
- 16:06Speaker 1: ask you for stuff, you know, So I just wanted
- 16:08Speaker 1: to get out of jail ship you pretty much want
- 16:11Speaker 1: to sign everything. Yeah, but it reminded me of Steve. Yeah,
- 16:15Speaker 1: meet free, I'll get out of jail. What I really
- 16:17Speaker 1: want to do is sign that paperwork after release, which
- 16:20Speaker 1: I've done, sivertized. That's a really exciting time that Yeah,
- 16:29Speaker 1: I'll be I'll be looking at the guard make sure
- 16:30Speaker 1: there ain't no problem. So what is the craziest thing?
- 16:34Speaker 1: I mean, has anyone ever asked you know how some
- 16:36Speaker 1: rock stars people want to sign their chest lett what
- 16:40Speaker 1: I've signed a lot of breath? I have signed a
- 16:44Speaker 1: lot of breath with a shopping what Yeah, just remember
- 16:51Speaker 1: you took it there? What you ain't signed one breask? Nope?
- 17:00Speaker 1: Oh man, you didn't sign a breast before? Quick? And
- 17:02Speaker 1: no you mean in the jay put no back in
- 17:05Speaker 1: the day and not. The potential lawsuit is too great?
- 17:08Speaker 1: Ye see tell me you didn't think about that? Did
- 17:11Speaker 1: you asked me to sign they breast? Why? As I'm
- 17:16Speaker 1: getting sued for because it's your name that caused the infection.
- 17:29Speaker 1: The lady give me a pion to sign too hard?
- 17:32Speaker 1: He could be anything I got, scarring anything. Yeah, you
- 17:36Speaker 1: have to think about those things now. Temmy Okay, I
- 17:40Speaker 1: will keep you in mind. The next breast that's in
- 17:42Speaker 1: front of me. Okay, they still ask you. I don't
- 17:46Speaker 1: believe that at your but don't sign the breast now? No,
- 17:52Speaker 1: can I sign a shoulder back? Why do you have
- 17:55Speaker 1: to sign skin? There's paper? What I mean? Can how many?
- 18:00Speaker 1: How many autographs? He thank you? That side total? What
- 18:04Speaker 1: would you think that would be tough? Tommy? Just how many?
- 18:12Speaker 1: How many of you think you've saying time? Okay, watched
- 18:18Speaker 1: this huntle Come on, I gotta be about one point
- 18:22Speaker 1: six meal at least of just signing my name. I
- 18:25Speaker 1: know that. What one point six meal? That's that's way
- 18:31Speaker 1: more than you have ever signed. Because I got that,
- 18:35Speaker 1: I got that that that carpet tone, I got all that.
- 18:39Speaker 1: All that from saying carpet tunnel. You got your carpet
- 18:42Speaker 1: toneal came from you. It's not carpet No, I was
- 18:47Speaker 1: what I was gonna say, that gonna be good? What
- 18:50Speaker 1: the joke do? Carpet to joke out? Didn't do? God,
- 18:56Speaker 1: I gotta apologize, apologize for even thinking. Man, want to
- 19:03Speaker 1: know one point six million times one point six meal?
- 19:09Speaker 1: Big dog? Yeah? Man, I'm just I'm just youre popular
- 19:14Speaker 1: than we thought you were. If that's how many, and
- 19:16Speaker 1: that's what I keep trying to tell. Yeah, I didn't know.
- 19:19Speaker 1: I mean I hadn't been all overseas signing with the troop.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Y'all have been asked somebody, Yeah, wow, starting to look
- 19:26Speaker 1: at you differently, and I want you to one point
- 19:33Speaker 1: what's not what's your number? The whole point? You can stop.
- 19:38Speaker 1: It's not one point six, Steve, come on, sign more books?
- 19:43Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, we don't even got two people. Hey,
- 19:49Speaker 1: let's lead the people out there. Okay, I didn't sign books. Yeah,
- 19:53Speaker 1: he's got you there. Tell me because I forgot about
- 19:55Speaker 1: the books. Yeah, I got my got I got more breast,
- 19:59Speaker 1: I got more. Yeah, you definitely have more breast. I
- 20:05Speaker 1: catch it eating. I'm sorry. That wasn't funny, did Junior?
- 20:12Speaker 1: That was not fun? That was not man. That wasn't
- 20:15Speaker 1: fun at all. Man. Think this started with a meek
- 20:18Speaker 1: story and happy belated birthday by the way to meet.
- 20:22Speaker 1: He turned thirty one on Sunday. He celebrated in Miami.
- 20:25Speaker 1: He right now is living his best life. He really is. Well, yeah,
- 20:29Speaker 1: well we got to start making some money. Get in.
- 20:34Speaker 1: He's playing. Ain't none of his transfer, not living his
- 20:41Speaker 1: best life. He frees, we got to get to making
- 20:44Speaker 1: some paper, partner, get back in the studio. You gotta
- 20:47Speaker 1: do something. We need a concert. Do you need a
- 20:51Speaker 1: record that he needs something? Well, concert would be great.
- 20:54Speaker 1: That's a good idea concert would be And he's on
- 20:57Speaker 1: a mission to help, you know, the people that he
- 20:59Speaker 1: left behind bars for better things like that. Yeah, I
- 21:03Speaker 1: admired m. But you got to get back in that studio. Yeah,
- 21:10Speaker 1: he's in there. I'm sure he's in the studio. Yeah,
- 21:13Speaker 1: I'm sure he's doing both all right. Well, coming up next, guys, Uh,

- 21:36Speaker 1: Run that prank back with the nephew. Right after this,
- 21:38Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up
- 21:42Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, we're gonna talk about
- 21:44Speaker 1: new music. Oh this new music video by Childish Gambino.
- 21:48Speaker 1: You guys, this video is prinding in a major way.
- 21:51Speaker 1: We're gonna talk about that, uh a little later on,
- 21:54Speaker 1: but right now it is time for the nephew to

- 22:30Speaker 1: there has been some new issues that will be going
- 22:33Speaker 1: into effect. That was just tomorrow morning, and we're calling
- 22:37Speaker 1: everyone letting them know the new changes that have been
- 22:40Speaker 1: um issued that will take effect first thing tomorrow morning.
- 22:42Speaker 1: So we're giving everyone a call, So don't be alarmed.
- 22:45Speaker 1: It's just give me a call letting you know what
- 22:48Speaker 1: the what the higher ups have changed. Okay, okay, there's
- 22:51Speaker 1: no problem. Minutes to listen, Okay, as up tomorrow, what's
- 22:54Speaker 1: gonna happen is when you guys come in, you'll be
- 22:56Speaker 1: issued a new key card, and that particular card will
- 22:59Speaker 1: act the registers when you come in and go out. Okay,
- 23:03Speaker 1: all right. Second one is there will no longer be
- 23:06Speaker 1: any personal internet at the job any longer. You won't
- 23:10Speaker 1: be able. They're actually putting a block on all computers,
- 23:12Speaker 1: all the computers will no longer be able to go
- 23:15Speaker 1: to a lot of these sites that you guys go
- 23:18Speaker 1: to that you've been um that's been available here in
- 23:21Speaker 1: the past. Okay, okay, all right. The last one is
- 23:25Speaker 1: reesa do you um, do you wear a hair weave?
- 23:28Speaker 1: What do you wear a hair weave or a wig? Okay, well,
- 23:33Speaker 1: here's one thing and hopefully you can get this change
- 23:36Speaker 1: about tomorrow. There's no weaves or hair or wigs gonna
- 23:40Speaker 1: be allowed uh at the job site from this point on.
- 23:44Speaker 1: So as of tomorrow morning, everyone must be wearing their
- 23:47Speaker 1: natural hair. You're joking. Uh, No, These are the issues
- 23:52Speaker 1: that are gonna be that are in stated, and these
- 23:54Speaker 1: are going to take effect as of tomorrow morning, seven o'clock.
- 23:57Speaker 1: What to do with a check and just the first
- 24:00Speaker 1: two I can understand punching in and then on the internet, Yes,
- 24:04Speaker 1: that's something that that corporate. But hair we've and you're
- 24:09Speaker 1: getting in us are they're looking down upon it. Uh,
- 24:14Speaker 1: Wigs and hair weaves they have to go. So I'm
- 24:18Speaker 1: assuming that if you, like you said, you do have one,
- 24:22Speaker 1: it doesn't come out there. Taking it down now and
- 24:25Speaker 1: prepare your hair to be natural as you come in
- 24:27Speaker 1: to work. Tomorrow. I'm not taking my hair down. I've
- 24:30Speaker 1: been here seven years and I've dealt with all the
- 24:32Speaker 1: changes that y'all have made. But there's no way that
- 24:35Speaker 1: I'm taking my hair we've down. I'm sorry. I wish
- 24:37Speaker 1: your name Byron? Yes, my name is Byron, and I'm sorry.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Let's get back to your weed. This has you're gonna
- 24:45Speaker 1: have to do something. Is there's someone that you can
- 24:47Speaker 1: call tonight to help you get your hair down and
- 24:49Speaker 1: so you can look presentable with your natural hair tomorrow. No, my,
- 24:53Speaker 1: We've called over two or three hundred dollars and I'm
- 24:56Speaker 1: not about to take that down. I mean it takes
- 24:59Speaker 1: along to them. That's take that down. Okay? Uh? I mean,
- 25:02Speaker 1: is this something? Maybe you can take it down and
- 25:05Speaker 1: just wear it on the weekends because as of now,
- 25:07Speaker 1: you're not gonna be allowed to actually wear it on
- 25:10Speaker 1: the property. And how will you know if someone has
- 25:12Speaker 1: a weave or not? Are you gonna do head checks
- 25:14Speaker 1: or something? Okay, I'm ma'am. I'm not quite sure what
- 25:18Speaker 1: they're gonna do to check it. But by you telling
- 25:21Speaker 1: me that you you have a weave, then I have
- 25:24Speaker 1: to write it down that you have confirmed that you do,
- 25:27Speaker 1: and we got to make sure that tomorrow morning you're
- 25:29Speaker 1: not wearing one. But you don't know what my natural
- 25:32Speaker 1: hair looks like from my weaves. Are you heard how
- 25:35Speaker 1: much I pay for it? So it's a good weave, ma'am.
- 25:38Speaker 1: It's not about how good you know with the quality
- 25:41Speaker 1: of your weaver or anything. They don't want it. They
- 25:43Speaker 1: want natural hair. I don't know what that means. But
- 25:46Speaker 1: they're going natural. They're going green, they're going natural. I
- 25:49Speaker 1: don't know what it is. They're going natural, and so
- 25:51Speaker 1: will you. Tomorrow morning you need to come in with
- 25:54Speaker 1: your hair completely down. Okay, I'm gonna do it. I'm
- 25:57Speaker 1: not taking my weave down. Okay. Don't like that. Y'all
- 26:00Speaker 1: gonna write me up or something? Okay, ma'am. Do you
- 26:02Speaker 1: not want your job? Yeah? I want my job, But
- 26:04Speaker 1: this don't make no sense. You're talking about personal appearance.
- 26:08Speaker 1: I can understand y'all have address coach and enforcing a
- 26:11Speaker 1: dress code, that's one thing. But but telling somebody to
- 26:15Speaker 1: change that, have you lost your mind? Man? You're crazy, ma'am.
- 26:19Speaker 1: I'm not good. I have other people that I have
- 26:20Speaker 1: to call. Bottom line is, get your hat out and
- 26:23Speaker 1: get your butt into work tomorrow and let's not go
- 26:26Speaker 1: back and forth anymore. Okay, well, listen, by rand you're
- 26:30Speaker 1: a lost mine. If you're thinking I'm taking my weave out,
- 26:33Speaker 1: I'm not taking out at all. Risa is coming up
- 26:37Speaker 1: in there with her hair and I'm gonna sit down
- 26:39Speaker 1: at my desk and do my job. Y'all gonna have
- 26:41Speaker 1: to drag me out that we've you lost your mind,
- 26:45Speaker 1: you and your powers that be or whoever they may be.
- 26:48Speaker 1: You tell them that I said that. Wa amnute, Wait
- 26:51Speaker 1: a minute, listen. Are you telling me that you're coming
- 26:53Speaker 1: in regardless with your hair on? Right? That's what I
- 26:57Speaker 1: just said? All you? Then then we need Why don't
- 27:02Speaker 1: you go ahead and bring some boxes in because you
- 27:04Speaker 1: may I'm not you bring man, I don't want to
- 27:08Speaker 1: have to pack. You get your stuff and box it up,
- 27:10Speaker 1: and you're losing your job because you can't take you
- 27:13Speaker 1: know what? You can do that because I'm a call
- 27:15Speaker 1: the news station and tell them you're dragging me out
- 27:17Speaker 1: of behind some weeds. Who's wrong? You're wrong? You're wrong?
- 27:22Speaker 1: You stupid? Are you gonna? You need to watch your language?
- 27:25Speaker 1: Young lady? Why I need to watch my language? I'm
- 27:27Speaker 1: at home. You call me on my own home phone
- 27:30Speaker 1: on my time. I'm at my house. I'm not on
- 27:33Speaker 1: your fock. I say what I want to say on
- 27:35Speaker 1: my phone. Okay? Can I say what I want on
- 27:37Speaker 1: my phone and then I don't let you go and
- 27:39Speaker 1: you can come into the work anywhere you want to tomorrow.
- 27:42Speaker 1: What is it, Bob on? What else you got to say?
- 27:44Speaker 1: I want to up. I want to tell you that
- 27:47Speaker 1: your girlfriend, Jennifer at your job got me to prank
- 27:50Speaker 1: phone call you. This is nephew Tommy from the Steve
- 27:54Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show say, I I know you, hey, reasons
- 28:04Speaker 1: this is this is not for your job, baby from
- 28:06Speaker 1: the Steve Way. More than is your gentlemen, your co
- 28:08Speaker 1: worker got me to pray phone call with my blood
- 28:11Speaker 1: pressure up. I'm gonna kill it tomorrow and I'm gonna
- 28:14Speaker 1: pull a whole weave out. You want to come down
- 28:16Speaker 1: there and watch me drink out of the blood pressure.
- 28:22Speaker 1: You can't be doing that to me behind my weave.
- 28:24Speaker 1: I paid too much money. I definitely been on my kids.
- 28:28Speaker 1: Ain't nothing like a black woman and her hell oh man, Okay, baby,
- 28:35Speaker 1: I got one more thing to ask you, girl. What
- 28:37Speaker 1: is the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show
- 28:40Speaker 1: in the land. Well, after this prank, he has to
- 28:44Speaker 1: be the Stevening Show. God was going with your babes.
- 28:53Speaker 1: She was gonna whoop your behind. I do know that always.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Now she was serious about her weeds though, listen to this.
- 29:02Speaker 1: You'll ready, yes, you Tommy two words that would be me?
- 29:15Speaker 1: That would be me, man, and have it on a Wednesday.
- 29:21Speaker 1: But right after him to work this thing I need
- 29:27Speaker 1: for you to do. Tommy is look puzzled. That's to
- 29:31Speaker 1: give you a minute, but he's not because he's not going.
- 29:38Speaker 1: I need to be in the mirror working on all right, man,
- 29:40Speaker 1: let's work on it. You ready, here we go you Tommy? Yeah,
- 29:46Speaker 1: that time again? Come on you, Tommy. Who who's asked?
- 29:56Speaker 1: Who's asked these? You? Tommy? That depends day. Well, Tommy,
- 30:11Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, we're going
- 30:13Speaker 1: to talk about Childish Gambino a k a. Donald Glover.
- 30:17Speaker 1: He's causing quite a stir on social media. Right after this.
- 30:26Speaker 1: You're listening to The steven Show. Alright, actor Donald Glover,
- 30:32Speaker 1: who's also now known as a Childish Gambino. The rapper,
- 30:36Speaker 1: hosted and performed on Saturday Night Live over the weekend,
- 30:39Speaker 1: he was great. He was in so many skits it
- 30:41Speaker 1: was unbelievable and he performed well. Um. Also over the weekend,
- 30:46Speaker 1: he released his new single, it's called This Is America,
- 30:49Speaker 1: and after the show, the music video This Is America
- 30:53Speaker 1: was released and it has gone viral. Guys. Uh. The
- 30:57Speaker 1: song gives social commentary on guns, culture, racism, and police brutality.
- 31:02Speaker 1: The video features a shirtless dandy Donald Glover and Uh.
- 31:06Speaker 1: He's dancing with children in a warehouse one moment, then
- 31:09Speaker 1: he guns down a gospel choir in the next clip. Uh.
- 31:13Speaker 1: This video, a clip of it, anyway, is on our
- 31:15Speaker 1: Steve Harvey f M Instagram page. If you haven't seen it,
- 31:19Speaker 1: you need to go check this out. It is really
- 31:21Speaker 1: really good. I think this is art and I think
- 31:24Speaker 1: it is um. Oh man, I mean it's just yeah,
- 31:28Speaker 1: it's it's just you know, I think what he's trying
- 31:31Speaker 1: to say, Steve, you've seen it, right, Yeah, it took
- 31:34Speaker 1: me a minute. I didn't get it the first time
- 31:36Speaker 1: because I was I was sitting on the golf course
- 31:40Speaker 1: watching it and I didn't. I didn't get it at first. Yeah,
- 31:43Speaker 1: but you get it now, really really really rich yea.
- 31:48Speaker 1: You know, um, he's making an incredible statement, you know
- 31:51Speaker 1: while were dancing and party in our life away. That's
- 31:54Speaker 1: what's my takeaway from all these tragic things are happening. Yeah,
- 31:59Speaker 1: you know in our church, police brutality, bro, everybody, you know,
- 32:03Speaker 1: all of it, but we just in and whipped. Yeah,
- 32:07Speaker 1: becoming desensitized to to it all. You know that's going
- 32:10Speaker 1: on around us. I mean it's great social commentary, it's
- 32:14Speaker 1: very artistic. A lot of people are saying, this is
- 32:16Speaker 1: what Kanye should be doing, you know, this is what
- 32:20Speaker 1: he should be doing with his art. Well, hold on, man,
- 32:23Speaker 1: hold on, a lot of people are saying that no, no, no, no, no,
- 32:26Speaker 1: you can't dump this on Kanye. No, it's not a dump.
- 32:30Speaker 1: That's just what they're saying. Well, I mean, if that's
- 32:32Speaker 1: the case, jay Z should be doing it. Everybody should
- 32:36Speaker 1: be doing it, We should be doing it. That's unfair
- 32:39Speaker 1: because if that's not your psyche, if that's not where
- 32:43Speaker 1: you're set and if that's not given to you, I mean,
- 32:48Speaker 1: what yet that ain't then you just set out and
- 32:51Speaker 1: go do But based on what Kanye is doing of late,
- 32:55Speaker 1: you know, with him getting into politics or him getting
- 32:59Speaker 1: Kanye is not into politics. Y'all, y'all stop this here.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Kanye not running for president. Kanye not gonna be president
- 33:06Speaker 1: of the United States? Are we are we serious here? Well,
- 33:10Speaker 1: I mean he's commenting on he's commenting on politics. He
- 33:14Speaker 1: has an opinion on politics. Yeah, he did say somebody
- 33:17Speaker 1: or or somebody said he should run for president, but
- 33:21Speaker 1: not not like that, but just his social commentary, his
- 33:24Speaker 1: commentary on what's going on in the world. His political
- 33:27Speaker 1: views is what they're saying he did. He doesn't have
- 33:31Speaker 1: the money to run. Well, I mean a lot of
- 33:35Speaker 1: people don't, but they get sponsors and donors and contributors
- 33:39Speaker 1: to their campaigns. Name me one sponsor for to do this. Yeah. No,
- 33:48Speaker 1: Donald Trump is in that house and everybody in that
- 33:56Speaker 1: house for some reason losers, damn lamar law hid, damn
- 34:00Speaker 1: man in their half. Can you you're losing? He listen
- 34:03Speaker 1: at you. Danny loves anybody. A lot of people say that. Great.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Well anyway, bottom line, go check out the video. It's
- 34:19Speaker 1: from Childish Gambino. It's called This is America. You can
- 34:22Speaker 1: check it out on Steve Harvey f m okay and
- 34:25Speaker 1: make your make make up your own mind and what
- 34:27Speaker 1: you think it's about. Okay, you're listening to the Steve
- 34:30Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, so you have yet
- 34:33Speaker 1: another clip from Family Feud that everyone is talking about.
- 34:37Speaker 1: It's on TMZ because well, it's funny, it's a little
- 34:40Speaker 1: disturbing at the same time. On this particular episode of
- 34:44Speaker 1: Family Feud, you asked the question, what might a man
- 34:47Speaker 1: do if his ex wife was telling everyone that he
- 34:51Speaker 1: has a teeny weeny kill her? Max gonna shut this down?
- 35:09Speaker 1: This little statement about me goes no further to get it.
- 35:14Speaker 1: You're getting I like it was telling everyone everyone. It
- 35:29Speaker 1: is a bit uncomfortable. Yeah, yeah, it makes you a
- 35:32Speaker 1: little slightly uncomfortable. It's funny. I'm glad it wasn't up there.
- 35:36Speaker 1: But kill her though, kill Okay? Wow? But but the
- 35:44Speaker 1: young dude, the one, the one that answer said killer.
- 35:48Speaker 1: He was sixteen. He was a young right now. He
- 35:54Speaker 1: knows at that age this can't get out at sixteen,
- 35:58Speaker 1: this could ruin me that down, killer, he said something,
- 36:05Speaker 1: This ain't going nowhere. Partner, I got, I got team.
- 36:10Speaker 1: That was a crazy question too, though, Yeah, family few
- 36:14Speaker 1: does that? Yeah, and people be talking to me what
- 36:18Speaker 1: y'all got to do with these, Steve, How you be
- 36:20Speaker 1: coming up with them answers? How you come up with them?
- 36:23Speaker 1: I don't come up with nothing. I just I read
- 36:25Speaker 1: the question for the first time while out there. I
- 36:27Speaker 1: don't know any of the questions beforehand, and I show
- 36:30Speaker 1: don't know what the answers. Oh no, I don't know
- 36:32Speaker 1: how you could. Yeah, but but as a host you
- 36:35Speaker 1: kind of played the game too. When people say stuff
- 36:36Speaker 1: like it ain't up there, You're right, he didn't even
- 36:41Speaker 1: turn around for divorce. Yeah, it killer what just a
- 36:52Speaker 1: dictor just this this thing about me goes nowhere? No, lady,
- 36:57Speaker 1: you're never I'm seeing plut the little dude with see team.
- 37:00Speaker 1: I can't let this out. Yeah, as this parent when
- 37:04Speaker 1: he got home, I'm know it's small. I'm only but
- 37:10Speaker 1: I was like your reaction to the question, Steve, I'll
- 37:13Speaker 1: let you have. Yeah, my face is saying what everybody
- 37:16Speaker 1: at the house is thinking. Yes, that's what I've done
- 37:21Speaker 1: that no other game show host. Do you know if
- 37:24Speaker 1: you never said a word because of your face, if
- 37:28Speaker 1: you never said a word, we would know what you
- 37:30Speaker 1: meant for real? You Tommy, Yeah, what's up? Telling up
- 37:39Speaker 1: about ten minutes at thirty four after the hour, we'll
- 37:43Speaker 1: talk about First Lady Milannia Trump's platform that was announced yesterday.
- 37:48Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Boy, have
- 37:53Speaker 1: we lost some sleep over this? I'm so happy that
- 37:55Speaker 1: it's finally here. Milannia Trump announced her eagerly awaited form
- 38:00Speaker 1: platform yesterday sixteen or what's seventeen months into her tenure
- 38:04Speaker 1: as First Lady. That's almost a year and a half later.
- 38:07Speaker 1: First Lady Michelle, of course, that unveiled her let's move
- 38:10Speaker 1: uh platform in February of two thousand ten, just eleven
- 38:13Speaker 1: months into her tenure as a First Lady, and Laura
- 38:17Speaker 1: Bush debut Ready to Read, Ready to Learn during her
- 38:21Speaker 1: first year as First Lady or you can't get mad
- 38:23Speaker 1: at Milannia was trying to figure out if she was
- 38:26Speaker 1: still gonna be first exactly. Hers was a little bit slow.
- 38:30Speaker 1: You can't get mad at this moment. Yeah. I think
- 38:33Speaker 1: she really does move independently of the President a lot
- 38:36Speaker 1: of times, though she does. Yeah, she does her own
- 38:39Speaker 1: thing when they're together. The Yeah, he does his own
- 38:46Speaker 1: thing too. You're right, Steve, You're right. Milannia is focusing
- 38:51Speaker 1: her efforts on the well being of children. Let's take
- 38:54Speaker 1: a listen and what she plans to do. Good afternoon,
- 38:57Speaker 1: Welcome to the White House. As a mother and as
- 39:00Speaker 1: first lady, it concerns me then, in today's fast paced
- 39:05Speaker 1: and ever connected world, children can be less prepared to
- 39:10Speaker 1: express or manage their emotions, and oftentimes turn to forms
- 39:15Speaker 1: of destructive or addictive behaviors such as bullying, drug addiction,
- 39:21Speaker 1: or even suicide. I feel strongly that as adults, we
- 39:26Speaker 1: can and should be best at educating our children about
- 39:30Speaker 1: the importance of a healthy and balanced life. So today
- 39:35Speaker 1: I'm very excited to announce be Best, an awareness campaign
- 39:41Speaker 1: dedicated to the most valuable and fragile among us, our children.
- 39:48Speaker 1: But it's a good thing for her to focus on children. Um,
- 39:52Speaker 1: I'm sure she cared deeply for children, as Hello to
- 39:56Speaker 1: Milannia is doing just fine for her husband to be
- 40:00Speaker 1: who he is and running the race that he ran
- 40:02Speaker 1: and doing what he's doing in the presidency. I ain't
- 40:05Speaker 1: got no problem with the woman hanging the Milani. You
- 40:08Speaker 1: know she can dress, just give her that for always does. Oh,
- 40:16Speaker 1: she'd be killing the game. But you know, and and then,
- 40:20Speaker 1: but I'm not never been a proponent of dogging out
- 40:22Speaker 1: the first ladies. You know, I've just never been a
- 40:27Speaker 1: fan of that. I don't think that should happen. I
- 40:30Speaker 1: think we got a big problem with the presidency. I
- 40:33Speaker 1: think the rise of all nationalists and white supremacy and stuff.
- 40:39Speaker 1: They're coming out of the sand now because I think
- 40:42Speaker 1: they think they have a spokesperson. The sad thing about
- 40:46Speaker 1: it is he doesn't realize it, but he's been but
- 40:50Speaker 1: he caters to that, to that, to that base of people,
- 40:55Speaker 1: and which is like scary man, because he just caters
- 40:59Speaker 1: to it. For the first you can't be the president
- 41:02Speaker 1: for all people? Why not? What's wrong with that? Well,
- 41:06Speaker 1: he doesn't know all the people. Well neither yeah, neither
- 41:10Speaker 1: did presidents before him, previous presidents, but they tried to
- 41:14Speaker 1: be president the president for all Wait a minute, Jimmy
- 41:16Speaker 1: Carter knew all people. Obama knew all people, Clinton knew
- 41:21Speaker 1: all people. Bush did a better job of knowing all people. Kennedy, This,
- 41:28Speaker 1: this man here doesn't know all people. His associating his
- 41:33Speaker 1: association with immigrants is basically at his house and and
- 41:39Speaker 1: and in his golf courses. That he doesn't understand the
- 41:45Speaker 1: viable contribution that a lot of illegal immigrants have made
- 41:48Speaker 1: to this country, and he's trying to act like he
- 41:52Speaker 1: doesn't understand their value to the workforce. But they are very,
- 41:55Speaker 1: very real and valid. You also don't have a heart
- 41:58Speaker 1: for Dhaka because you don't get it. You keep wanting
- 42:05Speaker 1: to hold the law up that you broke the law
- 42:07Speaker 1: by entering illegally. Your parents did well, they were born here.

- 54:23Speaker 1: You're crazy, Steve. Here we go strawberry letter, all right,
- 54:29Speaker 1: subject a stinky situation. Dear Stephen Shirley. I met a
- 54:33Speaker 1: very nice man three months ago and we headed off
- 54:36Speaker 1: pretty quick. He has been taking me on a lot
- 54:38Speaker 1: of nice dates and we have really good time together.
- 54:41Speaker 1: I thought I had finally met the man of my
- 54:44Speaker 1: dreams until two weeks ago we ended up back at
- 54:47Speaker 1: his house after a great dinner date. We both were
- 54:50Speaker 1: ready to be intimate, and we knew it was about
- 54:53Speaker 1: to go down, so we started taking off our clothes.
- 54:56Speaker 1: He took his shirt off first, then his pa ants
- 55:00Speaker 1: and Stephen Shirley, a funk I had never smelled before,
- 55:05Speaker 1: hit my face, hit me in the face. I realized
- 55:09Speaker 1: that the smell was indeed coming from him, So I
- 55:13Speaker 1: told him that I no longer that I was no
- 55:16Speaker 1: longer in the mood and I needed more time to
- 55:18Speaker 1: be sure I was ready for intimacy. As I left
- 55:22Speaker 1: his house, I thought that maybe he had a long,
- 55:26Speaker 1: busy day at work and didn't have time to freshen
- 55:28Speaker 1: up before that date. But he's not a small guy,
- 55:32Speaker 1: so he should have known better. I didn't say anything
- 55:35Speaker 1: to him about it. A week later, I decided to
- 55:38Speaker 1: give it another try to see what happens this times.
- 55:43Speaker 1: As things guide it, that same body odor hit me
- 55:47Speaker 1: in the face again. Now I can't make Now, I
- 55:52Speaker 1: can't make any more excuses for him. He is a
- 55:54Speaker 1: grown man. When he's fully dressed, he looks clean, and
- 55:58Speaker 1: he smells like a nice cologne. But when he starts
- 56:00Speaker 1: taking his cloves off, it's unbelievable. I don't know how
- 56:07Speaker 1: he can walk around like that. Am I wrong for
- 56:09Speaker 1: not being honest with him and helping him work past
- 56:13Speaker 1: the smelly issue? Besides the funk, he is a great
- 56:16Speaker 1: and loving guy. What should I do? Oh? This is horrible.
- 56:22Speaker 1: I mean, this really is bad. This is this is
- 56:26Speaker 1: really really bad. This is because I mean, this is
- 56:30Speaker 1: like a deal breaker right here. This is a deal breaker. Uh.
- 56:34Speaker 1: And I don't know how he doesn't know it because
- 56:37Speaker 1: we smell ourselves first, don't we before anyone else does?
- 56:42Speaker 1: I mean, is this is this some sort of he's
- 56:45Speaker 1: got to smell this? That's all I can say. If
- 56:47Speaker 1: you like him, if you want to have a future
- 56:49Speaker 1: with him, you have to tell him. You should tell him.
- 56:53Speaker 1: You have got to tell him. I don't I don't
- 56:56Speaker 1: know if I would stick around for this. I don't
- 56:58Speaker 1: know how great he is. I don't think I would. Um,
- 57:02Speaker 1: but it could be that he just doesn't know. Although
- 57:05Speaker 1: I don't know how he doesn't know. Maybe he doesn't
- 57:07Speaker 1: he has a bad sense of smell. I don't know.
- 57:10Speaker 1: But this problem has to be addressed, and you have
- 57:13Speaker 1: to tell him. That's all I can tell you. You
- 57:15Speaker 1: have to sit him down and tell him. And if
- 57:17Speaker 1: it's a medical issue, if he's sick or something, you
- 57:20Speaker 1: gotta go to the doctor and and get it checked out.
- 57:23Speaker 1: This is bad. This is a deal breaker breaker, Steve. Well,
- 57:28Speaker 1: First of all, let's get this clear. This ain't medical. See,
- 57:32Speaker 1: let's go through this. Let let me tell what happened.
- 57:34Speaker 1: You finally met a man of my dreams ago. We
- 57:38Speaker 1: ended up back at this house after some dayton We're
- 57:42Speaker 1: both ready to be intimate. We knew it was about
- 57:47Speaker 1: to go down, key word, about to go down, so
- 57:53Speaker 1: we started taking our clothes off. He took off his
- 57:57Speaker 1: shirt first. He knows to do this first because just
- 58:01Speaker 1: to break in move okay, all right, took off his
- 58:05Speaker 1: shirt first, then his hands. Wait a minute, come back,
- 58:10Speaker 1: what she is a person into it? You can't just
- 58:14Speaker 1: snatch you know, he no, let me take your shirt
- 58:19Speaker 1: off first. Ready, now to pants. Stephen shellon a funk
- 58:32Speaker 1: that I had never smelled before. Hit me in the face.
- 58:37Speaker 1: It in gulf the room. That's what you're trying to say.
- 58:40Speaker 1: I can't see it. It had been contained in the pans. Hats,
- 58:48Speaker 1: got a belt on it, draw all wrapped around it,
- 58:51Speaker 1: pairs legs, its been oozing out to bottom the whole night,
- 58:57Speaker 1: all around his ankles got funk on it because that's
- 59:00Speaker 1: the only outlet. When you got passed. You're walking so
- 59:04Speaker 1: and when you walk and you're spreading, and there's people
- 59:06Speaker 1: behind y'all going, what is that? But you don't know it?
- 59:12Speaker 1: But when he pulled him passed down, I only got
- 59:17Speaker 1: a minute. So I'm gonna have to tell you when
- 59:19Speaker 1: I come back. I'm gonna let you know what happened
- 59:23Speaker 1: when the pass came down, why happened, and why it
- 59:27Speaker 1: continues to happen, and how you can fix it. Okay,
- 59:32Speaker 1: all right, we're go When the past came down? Well
- 59:40Speaker 1: that part two. If Steve's response coming up in twenty
- 59:42Speaker 1: three after the hour you're listening to Steve show, all right, Steve,
- 59:49Speaker 1: let's go when you left off in part one, you
- 59:52Speaker 1: covered the top area. Now now part two it's the
- 59:56Speaker 1: bottom area. So let's get to it. The Strawberry letter
- 59:59Speaker 1: for today a stinky situation. Let's recap Steve. This woman
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: that meant the man in her dream. They've been going out.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: He's lovely, wonderful. One day they went out. Weeks later,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: great dinner date. We're both ready to be intimate. We
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: knew it was about to go down, so we started
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: taking our clothes off. He took his shirt off first.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Then in his past and as the lady wrote, Stephen Shirley,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: a funk that I had never smelled before hit me
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: in the face. That's cause it had been released. It's
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: been locked up a belt, got it in drawings, got
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: it in passed leg told it is once you pulling
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: them passed down. We wrote a song about it, the
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: Hot Tops. When the fun kissed the face, all the
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: people start to jail. I'm come on, get with me.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: So now you're with him. Now I realized that the
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: smell was indeed coming from him. I told him I
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: wasn't in the mood. And let's make sure he's ready. Here,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: she said, but he is not a small guy, so
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: he should have known better. Whit What did that do?
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Don't worry about that. A week later I decided to
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: give it another try to see what happened this time?
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Things got heated the same body or to hit me
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: in the face. Now I can't make any excuses for him.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: He's grown, man, He's fully dressed, he looks clean, he
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: smells like Knights cologne. But when he started taking his
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: cloth off is unbelievable. I don't know how you can
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: walk around like that in my wrong from not being
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: honest when helpn work past? The smell issue's not wrong.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: He didn't got used to it. He can't smell what
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: you smell. It's stay. You ever been on people's houses
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: and they gotta smell to it, and you'll be going, Man,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: how y'all sitting up in the hill? See they they living? Now?
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: See he lived with the phone. Now let me tell
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: you why he stayed. Because inside them pass it's crevices
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: and cracks, key words cracks. No, you were what you want?
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: It's the unleashen. It's like you've seen that movie Prides
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: of the Cribbin when the cracking, the cracking cracking. That's
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: what he got. The cracking leaves in his pass and
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: the cracking comes up out the water. Key word crack
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: and crevices. The cracking comes up and devours everything in
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: his pad. The cracking. He takes his pants down. It
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: everywhere is all in the room. Flowers start fine, paper
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: start burning on the edges. Your eyes is watering up.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: And he's standing there a large man. This man needs
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: a bath. First of all, he is not cleaning himself properly.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: He taking bird back. He needs to get he tapping
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: up on top. He got to getting some water. He
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: needs pine salt. I'm gonna just be real with you.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: He needs folk caps of pine saw in his bath water. Really,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: your pine saw stuff you clean the toilet with. Well,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: don't he smell like about? He needs to run some
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: bath water and put that little man in the boat
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: from tide and boating. He need to drop tide and
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: bowls and tablets in that damn water with him. He
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: got to get something bubbling in there. See, I can't
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: tell you what I really want to tell you because
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: I had to rethank my answer because there's a lot
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: of words in that. A lot of people ain't gonna understand.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: But let's just say cracks and crevice. We know what
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: it is. Yeah, we got Let me tell you what.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: Let let me tell what the real Probably that center
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: split that thing right there, it's it's got some something
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: going on. It's got something going on that he's not
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: cleaning itself. Probably he used the bathroom and he wiping
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: himself like he twels. See when you're grown, you got
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: to move God to do a little bit different. You
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: gotta put a washcloth next to your toy which so
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: you need a budate. He need to installed a budate today.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: Need to date. Tell that damn shower out, move it
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: over a little bit. You need to put the date
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: on this tote. Toto has a toilet seat that you
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: can buy youall. It's an automated toilet seat that you
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: you don't have to buy them. See, I had a
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: toilet that do the washing, drying, all that spray all
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: that every single time you go in there, and it
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: keeps me, keep me baby fresh. If you don't have
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: that money, they make a toilet seat that sits on
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: top of your toilet. You take your toilet seat off
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: and you install it and it will shoot your hot water.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: It will dried for you. It will put pressure washing
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: on it. He got to get pressure now. If he don't,
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: if you don't have the money for that home deepot sales,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: pressure washing, that's gonna hurt, even on his lowest settings.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: Is not made for the human body. But he needed
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: to grit his teeth in bear wood. It fresh fresh. Yeah,
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: see under his fribe. It's his privates he needs now. Now,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: he's not gonna do this here because it looked real scary.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: He needs He needs to pack Alko corn starch on him.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: I had a rash one time and I put Alko
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: corn starch on me, and I forgot that I had
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: it on with this girl I was in college and
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: pulling my drawl or she saw him white pellets. Only
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: that girl started crying. I didn't know what she was
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: crying about. I was thinking myself, I feeling pretty proud.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: He don't be afraid of it, and it ain't gonna
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: anything's gonna bite you. I looked down, saw him white
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: balls with Alko corn starch on. MENA, what I'm with
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: you on? The pressure was all right coming up in
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: ten minutes, we're gonna recap some trending stories and update
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: you on Chloe and Tristan. Sounds like they're back together.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Hard Morning Show.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, We're gonna
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: talk sports with the Fellows as usual the Big Cavaliers
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Raptors match up with last night. And speaking of basketball,
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: it looks like Chloe Kardashian has gone public in her
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: support for baby daddy Tristan Thompson. She cheered him on
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: Saturday night at the Cleveland Toronto game at Quicken Loans
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: Arena in Cleveland. Chloe is the most um uh, certainly
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: showing that she and Tristan are back together despite the
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: cheating scandal right before she gave birth to their daughter. So, Steve,
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: I mean, are you with it? You're cool that they're
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: back together? You have any comment on it? Whatsoever? People
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: make mistakes. I think this young man probably learned an
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: incredibly valuable lesson about what he did, and um, you know,
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: people have the right to try to move on and heal.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: You know, he's a father the baby. You know. Everybody
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: want to say, well, I don't know, I leave him. Well,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: not not so fast, Not so fast. It's steal the
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: baby's father. You still have feelings for the man, he
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: obviously have feelings for you. So everybody with this ain't
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: I'm leaving. Well, I got you, I got what you're saying.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: But oftentimes when people weigh the whole thing out, sometimes
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: it's worth trying to salvage. That's all I have to say.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: And I think that's what they want to do, then
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: I think that's good for him. I think we should
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: go for the baky happen. Yeah, all right, okay, moving on.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: Uh United Airlines flight attendant Steve appeared to be heavily intoxicated.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: I don't know if you heard about this, but this
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: is during a flight from Denver to North Dakota. This
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: is according to the Toronto Sun. United Airlines has issued

- 1:09:20Speaker 1: I was jr. If you'll see as you are, Steve
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: as much as you like, cousin, yeah right here supporting
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: up well. United has issued an apology, Thanks United for
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: a terrifying flight. Drunk or stone Steward is endangered everybody's lives.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: Boarding announcements where if your seat belt isn't fastened, here
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: ft up? What thank? I'm lying? You don't want to
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: see bad. I ain't got to tell you what his
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: extac is. You better get off here. She didn't told
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: him jokes while she was so booked and she got drunk,
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: and they came exactly Steve, exactly fine. I sit here
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: and burn your heads there, just cuss. I'll be off
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: to man. Somebody got a report. I jump out this
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: exit though, follow me. Look that baby louds. The truth
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: tells the truth. Ain't even a loss of cabin pressure.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: Put your mask on your dad. Babies can breathe longer
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: than anyway. This is what the tweet said, Thanks United
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: for a terrifying flight. Drunk or stone Steward has endangered
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: everybody's lives. Boarding announcements were if your seatbelt isn't fastened,
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: you left up. That's crazy. Yeah, man, wow as comedians. Now,
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: did you guys hear about this story? You know Kim Young,
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: the comedian that started Hangover and the TV show Dr Ken. Well,
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: you know he's he quit. Well, I'll tell you the story.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: He was performing at Stand Up Live Comedy Club and Phoenix. Okay,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: you guys may be familiar with stand up Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: This was on Saturday night when a woman began having
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: a seizure in the third row of his audience. He
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: initially thought he was being pranked, then realized that the
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: situationtion was very serious. Young reportedly cleared the area and
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: monitored the woman until paramedics arrived. Then he stepped right
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: back on the stage and continued his set. But you
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: know he's he's a doctor. You do know that he's
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: a medical doctor. He has a medical degree. He earned
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: Chapel Hill School of Medicine. Back so you have to
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: ask why did he choose to be an actor and
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: a comedian. I mean, I guess that's where his heart
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: really yeah, his heart really yeah. He's very funny. He
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: was hilarious and I've had him on my show before.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: When you can do this or be a doctor, why
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: would you be a doctor? Yeah, funny lady's all right
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: then yeah, yeah, yeah. But you jump off the stage
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: in the middle of your set, you save her, and
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: then after that, when the paramedics come, you jump right
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: back into your seat. And that's because he good see
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: how to jumped off stage and went to the back,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: stay away from the situation to avoid any potential loss.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: You had to do that. He always think of the lawsuit,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: a lawsuit involved and no matter what the shake it,
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: I don't know. I love that though. He jumped right
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: back on stage, right back into his set. But yeah,
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: I guess he does love this more Steve, like you said,
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: than being a doctor. But he can, you know, do
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: it if needed it. Can be a doctor and save
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: your life if needed. If he can't, because I've been
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: killing him, you know how to do it. Oh no, CPR,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: you don't know how to do all right. Uh, we're

- 1:23:51Speaker 1: is stack of money up next to the stack of
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: money on the same side. I have the same reaction. Tommy, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: you see it. Shall Yes, you are fine. That deal
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: with a girl not to mention sexy. Oh my god,
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: big lifts and a stack of money. Yes, we have
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: learned time that when you ugly you have to have
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: extra attributes. Yeah, and right now only things can say
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: you here money. But when you put that picture you
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: and that rose us on the Instagram, a lot of
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: people go, man, that's a nice car. Dude. Hey man,
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: when you when the car is prettier than you, when
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: the car is prettier than you, I will never do
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: that again. The side you remember after hit Cock when
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: he used to come over and then our last Hey
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: that was a classics show, Yes it was that you
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: have a Jimmy cricket from the It's time. Well, we'll
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: be back with more of a Steve Harvey Morning show.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: We're cute. We're cute up in here. Right after this,
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Show. Alright. Actor Donald Glover,
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: who's also now known as a Childish Gambino the rapper,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: hosted I'm performed on Saturday Night Live over the weekend.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: He was great. He was in so many skits it
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: was unbelievable and he performed well. Um. Also over the
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: weekend he released his new single, it's called This Is America.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: And after the show, the music video This Is America
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: was released and it has gone viral. Guys. Uh. The
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: song gives social commentary on guns, culture, racism, and police brutality.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: The video features a shirtless dandy Donald Glover and uh,
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: he's dancing with children in a warehouse one moment, then
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: he guns down a gospel choir in the next clip. Uh.
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: This video, a clip of it, anyway, is on our
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: Steve Harvey f M Instagram pay age. If you haven't
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: seen it, you need to go check this out. It
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: is really really good. I think this is art and
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: I think it is um man, I mean, it's just yeah,
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: it's it's just you know, I think what he's trying
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: to say, Steve, you've seen it right, Yeah, it took
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: me a minute. I didn't get it the first time
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: because I was sitting on the golf course watching it
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: and I didn't. I didn't get it at first. Yeah,
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: but you get it now, really really really rich. Yeah.
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: You know, Um, he's making an incredible statement. You know,
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: while were dancing and party in our life away. That's
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: what's my takeaway from it. All these tragic things are happening. Yeah,
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: you know in our churches, police, brutality, everybody, you know,
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: all of it, and we just in and whipping. Yeah,
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: becoming desensitized to to it all. You know that's going
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: on around us. I mean, it's great social commentary. It's
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: very artistic. A lot of people are saying, this is
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: what Kanye should be doing, you know, this is what
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: he should be doing with his art. Well, hold on, man,
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: hold on, a lot of people are saying that no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: you can't dump this on Kanye. It's not a dump.
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: It's just what they're saying. Well, I mean, if that's
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: the case, everybody should be doing, we should be doing it.
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: That's unfair because if that's not your psyche, if that's
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: not that, ain't that you just set out and go do.
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: But based on what Kanye is doing of late, you know,
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: with him getting into politics or him getting Kanye is
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: not into politics, Kanye not running for president? Are we
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: serious here? Well, I mean he's commenting on he's commenting
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: on politics. He has an opinion on politics, is what
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: they're saying. Name me one sponsor for you think is
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: going to do this. Donald Trump is in that house,
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: and everybody in that house, for some reason, loses the
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: damn Lamar lost his damn man in that house. Knye,
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: you're losing. He listen to you, Daddy lost. You ain't
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: even in the house. Well anyway, bottom line, go check
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: out the video. It's from Childish Gambino. It's called this
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: is America. You can check it out on Steve Harvey
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: f M. Okay and make your make up your own
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: mind and what you think it's about. Okay, alright, Steve,
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: coming up our last break of the day, closing remarks. Okay,
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: get ready people, right after this, you're listening to Steve
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, it's time for your
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: closing remarks. Yeah, my closing remarks today is kind of
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: gonna be a combination of things. But it's two people
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: who passed recently. One of them was a great playwright
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: and producer, Shelley Garrett, famous for all the beauty shops
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: and all of that. I remember going to see those plays.
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: Shelley Garrett passed at age seventy one, one of the
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: great playwrights and producers of our times. Really really nice
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: guy too, man, so I only met him a few times.
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: I know Tommy worked with him quite a bit, but
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: wen't really really cool people man, Shelley Garrett passed away.
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: A more not so famous person was a guy who
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: worked as my personal chef in Chicago for a year
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: and a half. Problem with his name was Chef Judson
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: Todd Allen. He passed away a couple of days ago
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: after working out and passed from a heart attack about
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: forty years old. And U chef uh Justin Todd was
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: just a warmhearted person man. He always was in a
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: great mood, always accommodating, excellent, excellent culinary skills. One of
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: the nicest guys I've ever met. And uh, Monica Barn
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: informed me that he had passed, and I called my
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: wife immediately because he had even come to our home
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: in Chicago and fixed meals for several times, and so
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: Margie was heartbroken. And uh, we send our condolences out
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: to both families. Um, I know Todd's chef, Todd Allen's
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: mom and brother had gone to the hospital after they
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: found out. So our condolences goes out to both families
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: for people who knew them, for the gift that they
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: had in this world, very very talented people. Man. One
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: was food and one was entertainment, but both of them
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: left the mark. You know, when people can say kind
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: things about you, not only when you're living, but as
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: you've gone away, that's that's a testament to who you
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: were as a person. And for me to take this
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: time out to mention those two people's because they crossed
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: my path and it made a difference. So Kelly Garrett's
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: family condolences. One of the great playwrights and producers of
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: our time was really at the forefront of what was
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: later to become this great empire to Tyler Perry built.
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: I mean, he was doing those plays long before and
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: kind of set the mark, and all types of players
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: were born off of that. But Chef Justin Todd allen Man,
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: what a what a great human being. He was made
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: very very helpful to me many many times really really
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: sad news. But to his mother, his brother, whoever, he's
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: all left, that's the only ones I know. I know
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: this that he was important, that that he did his
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: time extremely well. He was important, that he mattered to people,
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: and that's all any of us can hope to do.
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: You know, when we passed, there's three pieces of information
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: on the tombstone. It's the date of birth, and it's
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: the date of demise. Mr. Year you were born in
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: the year you passed. Those two dates are almost tombstone.
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: But the most important information on that tombstone is that dash.
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: It's the dash. I was taught that that's the most
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: important piece on your tombstone. Your birthdate is one that's
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: a guaranteed, and the date of your demise that's a guarantee.
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: But the most important thing is that dash. It's what
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: you did in the middle of those birth and death dates.
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: It's the thing you did that people will talk about
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: the most. So what I've always been taught to do
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: was to work on my dash. You're already here, and
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: all of us will have to leave this world sooner
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: or later. But dash, the dash is the mark that
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: you leave on this earth. When you go away, you
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: will you will be what people talk about. Those two
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: men worked on their dash. I'm working on my dash.
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: Make sure you're working on your dash. Make sure that
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: all of us are putting the place together, a marked together.
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: That will ensure that our dash will be talked about
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: in in in grand terms to some people. And you
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: don't have to be famous now to make your dash matter.
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: The people with the biggest dashes are not famous people,
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: but people who do their own the ground bootwork in
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: our neighborhoods and our communities, at our churches, at our
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: schools and our community centers, as law enforcement officers, as teachers,
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: as as people who just mentor who tutor. That's your dash.
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: Work on your dash, because your end date is coming.
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: That's for sure, the end date, it's guaranteed to come
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: for us. All what you gotta work on is that dash,
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: because that's all you have, is that dash. So those
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: are my closing remarks. I'm working on my dash, but
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: I'm really sad about the passing of Shelly Garrett and
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: Chef Shuts and Todd Alan. I hope this gets to
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: their families and let them know that we thought about
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: them today on behalf of all of us on the
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: Morning show. We will miss them. Deal in our prayers
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: and heartfelt condolences goes out to both families. There are
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: so many others. Those are just to to to wo mentioned.
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: Those are my clothes remarks to day. Thank you all right, Steve, Yeah,
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: you can drop the mic on that one as well.
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: Let's leading hang on in there. I'm a gonna do
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: the rest of his day to day, all right. What
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: do you have? Oh? Talk shows meeting? You know, just
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: same on the same. I only got one more week
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: to talk shows though. Really then you're going on hiatus,
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: going to work at Family Few full time. Yeah, I
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: don't know what a hike about. Hi hell, trying to
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: get this boat body together. You'll have a great weekend, man,
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: I'll be a family few this weekend. Like I said,
