- 0:001944 my grandmother put me in the dress, told me how cute I
- 0:03was. Affirmation is mind altering.
- 0:06Why was she doing that to you? At that time, there were no
- 0:08words. I didn't even understand there
- 0:10were other people until Christine Jorgensen hit the news
- 0:14in the mid 50s. Army soldier becomes
- 0:17transsexual. So I thought, oh, there's the
- 0:19word. So that becomes an identity.
- 0:21You become aware. Of yeah, I wonder if that's who
- 0:22I am. But there's no other voice
- 0:24saying no, you're not. I decided to go see a gender
- 0:27specialist. Sounds like he was excited to
- 0:29have a candidate that he had run his project.
- 0:31On Yeah, I trashed it all with one ridiculous mistake of
- 0:35allowing somebody to carve me up like a piece of sushi.
- 0:42Hey everybody, welcome back to the Lila Rose show.
- 0:44I'm sitting down today with Walt Hire, who is the in some ways
- 0:48original outspoken D transitioner.
- 0:51He is also someone who has offered free of charge support
- 0:55and counsel to thousands of other individuals who themselves
- 0:59have struggled with what the culture is calling gender
- 1:01dysphoria. In this conversation, Walt
- 1:04shares some really incredible insights.
- 1:05He debunked some of the myths around the transgender issue.
- 1:09He talks about what parents should do if their child may be
- 1:12struggling with what they think is gender dysphoria and so much
- 1:15more. You're not going to want to miss

- 1:39Report. Walt Tyre, welcome to the
- 1:41podcast. Thank you.
- 1:42Thank you. I'm glad to be.
- 1:43I'm so glad you're here. It's really an honor to get you
- 1:46coming in studio. I know all the way from North
- 1:48Carolina. How was the flight?
- 1:50Yeah, it was. It was great, actually good.
- 1:53We're here in today's world, you know, having a great flight is a
- 1:57rarity, so I'm glad to hear that.
- 1:59Yeah, so it's a pleasure to be here.
- 2:02I first saw you, I think I was telling you earlier, over a
- 2:04decade, maybe a decade and a half ago, I first saw your
- 2:08story, I think I went to your website and I was blown away.
- 2:12And I remember thinking, you know, it was around the time
- 2:15that I had first seen, I saw a child actually at a restaurant
- 2:18who was basically being transgender.
- 2:20This was a decade and a half ago, a little boy dressed up as
- 2:23a girl by two men. One of them was a cross dressing
- 2:26man cross dressing as a woman. And I remember Googling this
- 2:29afterwards because I just, my heart was just torn up about
- 2:32this poor child. And I Googled it.
- 2:33They said, oh, there's 17,000 or, you know, several 10s of
- 2:37thousands of trans children. Now we're in a situation where
- 2:42there are this is kind of seize the country and and really the
- 2:45West by storm. Increasingly young people think
- 2:48that they're transgender. So you, you're, you are your
- 2:51voice. Your story on this predates the
- 2:54modern you know, the last decade you've been you've been a
- 2:56prophetic voice in the wilderness on this topic now for
- 3:00a decade and 1/2 or two almost 2 decades.
- 3:03Yeah, definitely. And, and my journey actually
- 3:05started in 1944, eighty years ago.
- 3:09Tell me, tell me about the beginning of your journey.
- 3:11Yeah, in 1944, my grandmother was my babysitter and and she
- 3:17was making women's clothing. And I used to just sit with my
- 3:21arms on her sewing machine watching what she was doing. 4
- 3:24years old, what do I know? And I was very curious about it.
- 3:29So she decided to make me a purple chiffon dress.
- 3:32And she put me in the dress, told me how cute I was, and
- 3:35we're off and running. You know, this is that whole
- 3:38thing where you begin to wonder about who you are.
- 3:41You know, when somebody starts affirming you, affirmation is
- 3:45mind altering. And so her affirmation toward me
- 3:49had me confused about who I was. And so this, she told me, this
- 3:54is a secret. Don't tell your parents.
- 3:56And so this went on for about 2 1/2 years.
- 3:58So you can imagine you got a 2 1/2 year indoctrination into
- 4:01this. At that time, there were no
- 4:03words, right? They didn't even come up with
- 4:05the word transgender that they use and all this stuff.
- 4:08I was just a boy cross dressing, but I was being affected by it
- 4:11to the point to where I got so used to the affirmation that I
- 4:17wanted to wear the women's clothing because because it was
- 4:20making me feel like I had some sense of value.
- 4:24And your parents had no clue that this was happening.
- 4:26And how is that? How didn't they know?
- 4:28Well, because I was at Grandma's house and my parents were off
- 4:33camping and fishing and when they'd come home on the weekend
- 4:36and Take Me Home. But the dress never came up
- 4:39until about 2 1/2 years in I decided I got so accustomed to
- 4:43wearing the dress I snuck it in a brown paper bag in the car and
- 4:47took it home, put it in my bottom dresser drawer so I could
- 4:50experience the cross dressing when I was home.
- 4:52Well, my mom found the dress and boom that that game was over.
- 4:57How old were you at this time? About 6 1/2.
- 4:59The the cross dressing that your relative was doing of you
- 5:02happened for 2 1/2 year period starting at around 4:00 and did
- 5:07you, you know how, how, how many hours would you be at?
- 5:11Your weekend. Grandma's house.
- 5:12Yeah, you know, they dropped me off Friday night and picked me
- 5:15up Sunday afternoon. And why?
- 5:17Why was she doing that to you? You know, I, I, I think she just
- 5:21thought it was benign. She thought it was fun.
- 5:26I wasn't complaining because I had no, no method for
- 5:31complaining. I didn't know the difference,
- 5:32right? I mean, what is a four year old,
- 5:335 year old, 6 year old kid and they don't know anything.
- 5:37They don't even know what they want for breakfast, let alone
- 5:40you know about wearing a dress and the effects it's going to
- 5:43have on the psyche. It, this is child abuse.
- 5:48Let that sink in. It's emotional and psychological
- 5:52child abuse for anybody to cross dress a boy or cross dress a
- 5:57girl and tell them they can become somebody else, or infer
- 6:01that they can, or suggest they can, or play that they can.
- 6:04This is damaging to the brain and it alters the brain at the
- 6:09level of where our identities are being formed and people
- 6:13don't ever get the proper effective treatment.
- 6:16They need to rewrite the wrongs that were done by a parent or or
- 6:21relative or sometimes even a sibling.
- 6:23Sometimes older siblings are cross dressing their younger
- 6:26siblings. Can 1 instance of cross dressing
- 6:29leave a wound or would you say it has to be?
- 6:32I doubt that. I doubt that.
- 6:34I think it has to be repeated and I think it has to be kind of
- 6:39flourishing where everybody in the family's involved and and
- 6:42you get this going on and so there you are.
- 6:44So I yeah, I don't think 11 incident is going to do it.
- 6:51But you were doing this weekends upon weekends at Grandma's
- 6:54house. Your mother finds the dress in a
- 6:57paper bag. How did she respond?
- 6:59Well, you know, she said, where'd this come from?
- 7:01And I said, well, grandma made it.
- 7:03And so she was very angry. And then when my dad heard that,
- 7:07he exploded and he went totally berserk.
- 7:11But what she was doing to his boy.
- 7:14And so I was never allowed to go back to grandma's house unless
- 7:16the whole family was there. And so even the fact that she
- 7:21told me to keep it a secret and I and the secret was now out, I
- 7:25felt responsible for breaking the secret, like I had done
- 7:29something wrong. So you see, there's another
- 7:31layer of shame and guilt and stuff that went on.
- 7:35And so, and, and I'm causing my parents to fight.
- 7:39That's, that was on me, you know, as a, as a kid, 6 1/2
- 7:42years old, I'm, I'm the one causing this discord in the
- 7:45house. And so there's all of a sudden
- 7:48you've taken on a responsibility as a young child.
- 7:51That's not your responsibility, but that's how it feels.
- 7:55And, and you feel terrible. And I was crying myself to sleep
- 7:58and like, who am I? What am I doing?
- 8:00At 6 1/2 years. Old at 6 1/2 years old.
- 8:03Well, I got to ask, I know I kind of, we were touching on it
- 8:06earlier, but it's, it's, I think it's a big question because it's
- 8:10happening a lot. There's a lot of moms today.
- 8:13I know one through a friend of a friend that are transing their
- 8:17kids or thinking their son is a girl.
- 8:19Their son says he's a girl. So they're dressing them as a
- 8:22girl and the dads are involved and maybe OK with it.
- 8:25But if there's some women that really it becomes this agenda
- 8:28for them to do this. They think they're doing their
- 8:30child a favor. It sounds like your grandmother.
- 8:33Really. It was more than a game for her.
- 8:35She did it every time you came over it sounds like.
- 8:38Yeah, I, yeah, I, I don't, I can't get into her head on it.
- 8:41So I don't know. She drank a lot and I, she
- 8:47seemed to gain some enjoyment out of it.
- 8:50But let me be clear, no parent should ever cross dress their
- 8:56kid and affirm them. And and be, as you say, a mom
- 9:01transing their kid and the mom actually should be taken out of
- 9:04the home and given counseling because the kid is being
- 9:09destroyed by mom. Why do you?
- 9:11Think if you can share and if it's OK if they don't have a
- 9:14hypothesis on this. Why do you think maybe you can't
- 9:17get your grandma's head? But why do you think some women?
- 9:20It seems to be a trend today almost.
- 9:23It's happening more than it's ever happened before.
- 9:25Want to do this? Want to support their very young
- 9:28child, sometimes their two year old in cross dressing.
- 9:31Yeah, because if they bring this up in a conversation among other
- 9:35people, then they can tell you they're smarter than you are
- 9:40because they have a trans kid and they're much more open to
- 9:43things and they they are psychologically helping their
- 9:47child. And the opposite is true.
- 9:50Mom is nuts and they're destroying their kid and it's,
- 9:53this is, it's so hideous. It's it's institutionalized
- 9:58child abuse. Easter is a season to celebrate
- 10:01Jesus Christ, resurrection and go deeper into our faith.
- 10:03That's why I'm a big fan of Hollow App, which is the number
- 10:06one prayer app in the world. They have a whole series
- 10:09dedicated to helping you go deeper into your faith this

- 10:21and our freedom as God's sons and daughters.
- 10:24Hollow App also has thousands of prayers, prayers, meditations,

- 10:34Really anybody and everyone in the family will find something
- 10:36for them that they can do even on a daily basis on the Hollow
- 10:39App. So during this Easter season, I

- 10:53thatshallow.com/lila. What happened after the your
- 10:59parents found out? Now you go to grandmother only
- 11:01on supervised visits. What happened next in your life?
- 11:04Yeah, well, my dad obviously was.
- 11:06He was a Los Angeles auxiliary policeman.
- 11:09He was a judo expert. He was an industrial salesman.
- 11:14Strong guy, great guy. He decided that he was going to
- 11:19knock the dress out of me with heavy discipline.
- 11:23And so he was giving, I mean, he was laying on some pretty hard
- 11:27discipline with a hardwood floor plank.
- 11:29When I did anything wrong, he was really trying to do like a
- 11:32blacksmith would do to iron that you put in the furnace and then
- 11:36put it on an anvil and then shaping it.
- 11:38He was trying to unshape the damage that Grandma did.
- 11:41He was only causing more damage because it was such severe
- 11:46discipline. But the kicker was his adopted
- 11:51brother, Uncle Fred found out about the purple dress.
- 11:55Uncle Fred was in his teens at the time and he began when I was
- 11:59about 8 years old sexually molesting me because of the
- 12:02dress. So here's the the instruction
- 12:05here for people to listen to is that because of the dress, I was
- 12:10sexually molested. Because of the dress, I was hit
- 12:13with a hardwood floor plank. Because of the dress.
- 12:16I started to wonder who I was. Let that sink in.
- 12:22I think people need to get their head around the fact that, be
- 12:26clear, there is nobody in all of world history that's ever
- 12:29changed their gender. You can't do it.
- 12:32You can change your persona. You can change what you look
- 12:36like. Your biological gender is formed
- 12:40in the womb nine months before you're born, between the egg and
- 12:44the sperm. That's where it starts and it's
- 12:46not changeable. Why does anyone?
- 12:49I can't for the life of me cannot understand how people can
- 12:53even think for a moment that somebody's gender can be
- 12:57changed. It can't happen.
- 12:58It's that part is insane. When your uncle, your teenage
- 13:05uncle, was doing this to you, abusing you, was it kind of a a
- 13:10thing of mockery because the word was out that little Walt
- 13:14was dressing up in a dress? Can you share more about that?
- 13:17I just think for him it was, you know, who knows, but probably
- 13:21just seemed like I was fair game.
- 13:24And so when I told my dad what he was doing, told my mom what I
- 13:27what he was doing, they said, well, Fred would never do that.
- 13:30So they never believed me. I'm so sorry, Walt.
- 13:32Yeah. And so they went to him and he
- 13:34said no, I didn't do it. Of course he's not going to say
- 13:36he did. So then that then the trust
- 13:40issue came in because there was no sense in me trying to share
- 13:43anything with anybody because they weren't going to believe
- 13:45me. So why, Why would I even spend
- 13:47the time and energy trying to share with them something that
- 13:50was happening that was harmful to me?
- 13:52Because they they wouldn't believe me anyway.
- 13:55Was that abuse recurring? It was, yeah.
- 13:59And what would you, what was your kind of feelings deep
- 14:03inside at this time when you felt you couldn't talk to your
- 14:06parents? You're being abused.
- 14:08You have this maybe desire still to did you have a desire still
- 14:11to cross dress? I mean, what was what was the
- 14:14innermost part of Walt like at that time?
- 14:16Yeah, I think the what happens is your feelings go numb and you
- 14:22don't want to be who you are. You don't want to be the person
- 14:26who's been cross dressed it with a hardwood floor plank and
- 14:29sexually abused. You want to be somebody else.
- 14:32I don't want, I didn't want to be the person that was
- 14:35collecting all this stuff before I was 10 years old.
- 14:39So where do you go with that? Was there anyone you felt safe
- 14:42with growing up? No, I'm so sorry.
- 14:48Yeah, so I found that I just had to navigate this stuff on my own
- 14:56and and I didn't even really begin to understand there were
- 15:00other people until Christine Jorgensen hit the news in the
- 15:04mid 50s early, I think 5354, somewhere in there made the
- 15:08headlines. You know, Marine or Army
- 15:12soldier, whatever it was, becomes transsexual.
- 15:15And so I thought, oh, there's, there's the word how?
- 15:18Old were you? That would have been, you know,
- 15:21about 141212 to 14. So that becomes an identity.
- 15:25You become aware of transsexuals and identity.
- 15:27Yeah, I wonder if that's who I am, Right.
- 15:29So that then the message to me is that, yeah, maybe that's who
- 15:34I am, but there's no other no, no other voice saying, no,
- 15:38you're not, right. So you only have this one
- 15:41channel that you're going down, this one lane you're following,
- 15:45but you know the pain. I think there's something called
- 15:48adverse childhood experiences. And adverse childhood
- 15:51experiences cause trauma, and trauma needs to be treated by a
- 15:56trauma therapist. I had suffered a great deal of
- 15:59trauma and I never had any effective sound therapy about
- 16:04it. I was dealing with this on my
- 16:06own. And if you don't get trauma
- 16:08taken care of, it's going to manifest itself in some way.
- 16:13And that's what happened. It manifested itself in a
- 16:16negative way. It ended up what we'll talk
- 16:20about as we go on here. So what happens?
- 16:25You're 14, You hear about transsexual as an identity for
- 16:28the first time, You're already struggling.
- 16:31Yeah. Was was this was the abuse still
- 16:32ongoing at this point? Or no abuse had stopped by the
- 16:35time I was 10 years old. And but I about that time I
- 16:39decided to take on this secret identity I didn't share with
- 16:43anybody called Crystal West. And it was just my way of sort
- 16:46of coping. And I because I felt like I had
- 16:49a radio in my head that just played, there's something wrong
- 16:52with you. You're not right or you're a
- 16:54female, you're this. And so I was battling on the
- 16:57outside. I was purely male, young, small
- 17:00boy, not, not strong, not like a lot of guys that were big,
- 17:05muscular. I was small and not very big
- 17:09today, but so that played a part in it.
- 17:13And so I but taking on Crystal W was just sort of a way for me to
- 17:17have a way to vent or a way to cope with the stress.
- 17:23And so maybe it was a way of dissociation from who I was not
- 17:28wanting to be the person being abused.
- 17:30I could take on this identity that was not getting abused
- 17:33because Crystal West never got cross dressed by anybody, never
- 17:37got hit by anybody and was never molested by anybody.
- 17:41That was that was the safe person in my life.
- 17:43Why the name Crystal West? I don't know.
- 17:45I just one afternoon came up with it.
- 17:48It wasn't too creative. When did you first tell someone
- 17:51about Crystal, WI? Don't remember telling anybody
- 17:54about it. It was like a secret life.
- 17:57Yeah. So when you hit puberty, how did
- 18:00how did how did you handle that? Yeah, I, you know, I, I had a
- 18:05girlfriend, you know, I, I was never, never had any homosexual
- 18:10feeling. Never.
- 18:11That was never an issue with me. I just had a broken identity.
- 18:15And so I had a girlfriend. The first one, I think I was in
- 18:19grammar school when I had a girlfriend.
- 18:21And then all through life I had girlfriends.
- 18:24And so Lola Joy Phipps, is that a cool name?
- 18:29And so she was a redhead. Cool.
- 18:31And, you know, so I was on the outside look very normal.
- 18:37If you went around and listened to me, you'd think he's a normal
- 18:41kid, right? Struggled academically because I
- 18:45had so much confusion. But I looked real normal.
- 18:50I had good friend, boyfriends, girlfriends, you know, I was in
- 18:54groups of guys that were in sports cars, all that sort of
- 18:58stuff. I did all the right stuff, you
- 19:00know, I was on track. I played what they called B
- 19:04football at Eagle Rock High School, so I looked real normal.
- 19:09If someone had asked you at that time, well, are you, are you
- 19:12doing OK? Are you, is something hurting
- 19:15you inside? Do you think they're like, I'm
- 19:16fine like? Yeah, I would have said yeah,
- 19:18because I, I didn't want to let anybody in.
- 19:21You know, it's like if you go back to the time when I told my
- 19:24parents what would happen and how what a big failure that was,
- 19:28I couldn't take that risk again. I couldn't take that risk again
- 19:33that that shut down right there. I couldn't tell anybody.
- 19:36If my parents weren't willing to listen to me, then nobody in the
- 19:40world is going to willing to listen to me.

- 20:38reconcile with you and and you know, apologize for not
- 20:41believing you. Did you end up having that
- 20:43conversation later on with your parents?
- 20:45No my my father passed away when I was 20 and my mom was actually
- 20:52an abuser abused me and and in her entire life to my knowledge
- 20:56never told me she loved me. She really didn't want to have
- 20:59me. I think that was part of the
- 21:01problem. Early 40s for the war was going
- 21:05on. They were financially struggling
- 21:09and she was kind of an angry teenage girl that my brother
- 21:13came before me. So she was only 18 when she had
- 21:17my brother and so 20 when she had me.
- 21:21So I think there was just too many things coming at her with
- 21:25the war money. Yeah.
- 21:28And. When you say she never said she
- 21:30loved you, she never said those words, ever.
- 21:32Or really, is that partly A generational thing?
- 21:37You think the the family she came from, they never said it.
- 21:39Did you ever? I think she grew up and she had
- 21:42her own tough life. And so I look, I look at where
- 21:46she came from and go, yeah, I can get that.
- 21:48Probably nobody ever told her, told her they loved her.
- 21:53So she never, she never experienced that.
- 21:55So she never need to pass it on. When you graduate high school,
- 22:00what happens next? Yeah, I graduated from high
- 22:03school. I went to Pasadena City College
- 22:05and started studying electronic drafting.
- 22:09I went to work for Libroscope in Burbank, CA and worked on the
- 22:15Polaris missile system. I was kind of very determined to
- 22:18get into this new age of rockets and stuff.
- 22:23And so I was doing electronic drawings and I became what they
- 22:27called a design engineer, which was, it started out on the
- 22:32drafting table, but I worked up to where I was a design engineer
- 22:35on the Apollo space missions. Very cool I.
- 22:38Worked on Apollo One in the area of cryogenics and working on the
- 22:42connectors and helped helped form the NASA specifications for
- 22:48cryogenic connectors in a small group of people.
- 22:51I went from there to the automotive industry where I
- 22:53worked for American Automotor Company.
- 22:56I became the national operations manager at Honda later on in my
- 23:03automotive career. So I had, I had a great career,
- 23:06you know, but I was struggling with all these things that
- 23:09happened. And by the time I got to Honda,
- 23:11I was coping with using alcohol and then eventually started
- 23:15using cocaine because nothing could kill the pain of the
- 23:19purple dress being physically abused and being sexually
- 23:23abused. So I was using my own therapy,
- 23:27which was drugs and alcohol to try to numb the pain that was
- 23:31never resolved. Did you get married?
- 23:33I got married at right 1962 so I would have been 22.
- 23:41First child came when I was 24, next one came at 28.
- 23:47Did she know about your first wife?
- 23:49Did she know about anything? That was going on right out
- 23:51front. So she knew about the abuse, the
- 23:53purple dress, She knew. Yeah, she didn't know about that
- 23:55part. I just told her I was
- 23:56struggling. Still didn't know what to tell
- 24:00people, except I told her I was struggling with this.
- 24:02I didn't know where it went. And we, like, both kind of blew
- 24:05it off going. You know, once you get married
- 24:07and have kids, you know you got a job, everything's cool.
- 24:10Did you have a temptation to want to cross dress?
- 24:13During that time, yeah, that feeling really never went away.
- 24:17But I think this was, this is the thing that's hardest to
- 24:20explain is when you've been abused and you've suffered a
- 24:24great deal of trauma, you're trying to find ways to escape
- 24:27it. And if we can just stop and and
- 24:30kind of look at somebody trying to use a different identity as a
- 24:35way to escape the pain that the other person felt and that
- 24:39there's two containers, one was badly abused, the other was not.
- 24:46So at what point did you, you know that first kind of inkling
- 24:49when you were 14, you heard that term transsexual for the first
- 24:53time. Now you're married, you have two
- 24:55kids, your your career is going really, really well.
- 24:57You're working on very interesting things.
- 24:59You've kind of American dream. You've arrived despite all these
- 25:02childhood traumas, but deep down you're still struggling.
- 25:06Yeah, see. And that's where the struggle
- 25:08really, I, I held it at Bay, but I had to start using alcohol.
- 25:13I felt like to numb the pain and I used more and I used more at
- 25:17the marriage started struggling. My, my job wasn't struggling as
- 25:21much as the marriage was struggling.
- 25:23I was drinking on the way home. I was not reliable.
- 25:28I even if I drank all night, I still got up and went to work
- 25:31the next day. I always was at work.
- 25:34I never missed a day of work. I was always steady on.
- 25:37The money would come into the house, but I couldn't fix all
- 25:42the stuff that had been broken early in my life.
- 25:46At what point did you think I want to come out publicly as A
- 25:51at what point did it kind of cross your mind that that was an
- 25:54option and you felt like that would cure the pain?
- 25:56Yeah, going public didn't really happen until I was.
- 26:02I decided to go see a gender specialist, which by the way,
- 26:05don't ever go to a gender specialist because they only
- 26:08have one thing in mind, changing your gender and they they're not
- 26:11there to help you, they're there to destroy your life.
- 26:14And were you still married at this point?
- 26:15I was married. So did she know you were going
- 26:17to a gender? Specialist.
- 26:18I didn't tell her, you know, I thought, man, I I can solve this
- 26:22on my own. I'll go in and find out what's
- 26:23going on. Because in your mind, did you
- 26:25think, oh, this transsexual thing is why I'm drinking so
- 26:27much? Yeah.
- 26:28And you thought that's that's ruining my career, it's ruining
- 26:30my marriage. Got to fix that.
- 26:32Going to go quietly to this counselor.
- 26:33Going to solve it. That kind of where?
- 26:35You're on. But then he said you had gender
- 26:37dysphoria. Now keep in mind, gender
- 26:39dysphoria didn't even become a diagnosis until 2013.
- 26:44This was in 1981. He said I had gender dysphoria.
- 26:48This was the therapist, Doctor Paul Walker, who wrote the
- 26:52standards of care that are in existence today.
- 26:54This guy was the world leading gender therapist who was my
- 26:59director of therapy. How did you find him?
- 27:02He was in San Francisco and, and I asked people you know, around
- 27:07and they said this guy is the number one guy.
- 27:09He this is who you got to see. And that's where you guys were
- 27:11living at the time. Yeah, we were living in Sonoma.
- 27:14Beautiful. Yeah, in Sonoma.
- 27:17So I went to his Union Street office drunk and went in there,
- 27:23and he diagnosed me while I was intoxicated with gender
- 27:25dysphoria. Was this on a weekend?
- 27:27Where, Where? What was?
- 27:28That was AI don't remember what day it was and then he said come
- 27:33back next week and I went back the next week and he had the
- 27:36letter of approval already written for me to have surgery.
- 27:39He says you're a candidate for hormones and surgery.
- 27:42Sounds like he was excited, yeah, to have a candidate that
- 27:45he could run his project on. Yeah, so so I got the letter and
- 27:50then I went back and that's when I talked to my wife about it.
- 27:53And so then, you know, obviously the the marriage within two
- 27:57years totally collapsed and we got divorced and then.
- 28:00How did how did you don't mind me asking, how did your wife
- 28:03respond when for the first time you show up with this letter and
- 28:07it's from a there a counselor who's saying you're going to get
- 28:09a surgery and what was the surgery that was being
- 28:11recommended? Yeah, you know, gender
- 28:15reassignment surgery is what they called it in those days.
- 28:17Sex change surgery. That includes castration, right?
- 28:20And so you're, you're giving your wife a letter saying this.
- 28:24Well. I didn't give her the letter.
- 28:25I just told her what he said. And she's, you know, I don't
- 28:28think she was surprised because she, she, you know, she knew I
- 28:30was struggling. She knew I was coming home
- 28:32drunk. She knew I'd had trouble.
- 28:35I don't think she knew to the degree of which, how much the
- 28:38depth of the struggle was. But I think in many ways she was
- 28:42relieved, you know, because it's, she probably started to
- 28:46see maybe the light at the end of the tunnel.
- 28:48You know, we can dissolve the marriage because I'd been, I'd
- 28:51been out of the house, in the house, out of the house, living
- 28:53in an apartment back. And so it was chaotic.
- 28:56So I think for her, it was kind of a relief.
- 29:00And then she quickly got an attorney and had me sign divorce
- 29:05papers. And so we were divorced in early
- 29:071983 in January, I believe it was maybe February.
- 29:11I had the quote sex change surgery in April.
- 29:18April is this April. We're in April.
- 29:21How many years ago was that? 1983.
- 29:24Wow, what is that? Is that?
- 29:26Over. 40 years now. Or over 40 years 40.
- 29:29Years now. Wow.
- 29:31Yeah. So that was a long time ago, but
- 29:34the surgeon who Doctor Biber who did my surgery had already
- 29:37performed over 3000 of them in 1983.

- 30:45whatever you're willing to share, Walt and I so appreciate
- 30:47you. Just, you know, this is a huge
- 30:49part of your ministry today is you just share the truth about
- 30:52what you experienced. When when we talk about sex
- 30:55change surgeries, I think they're a little bit there's a
- 30:58little bit of a desensitization around what this actually means.
- 31:01Yeah. And so when you're talking about
- 31:03a Doctor Who in San Francisco, he was in San Francisco, right?
- 31:06This this the. Surgeon was actually in
- 31:08Trinidad, Co. The surgeon was in, but he's
- 31:11referred by the San Francisco doctor you had mentioned.
- 31:14So it's in Colorado. He's done already 3000 of these
- 31:17surgeries. Are these men and women?
- 31:20All men, All men and So what what do they do?
- 31:22They do a castration. Can you share us just briefly
- 31:25what this sex change surgery actually?
- 31:27Means yeah to to. Because to what you were saying,
- 31:29you can't change your sex. Yeah, it it's important for
- 31:32people to realize they they don't remove the penis, it's
- 31:36remains there. They just invert it.
- 31:40So you they're using all the same parts you always had.
- 31:43They're just trying to redefine them.
- 31:46It's mutilating people. It's barbaric.
- 31:51It's it dehumanizes who you are and it destroys your ability to
- 31:58function the way God made you to function.
- 32:02Dehumanizing and and and actually so destructive.
- 32:06When you were preparing to go in for that surgery, how did you
- 32:10feel? Well, the actually the first
- 32:12time when I went to Trinidad, Co, I was, I'd gone and signed
- 32:17into the hospital, sat in the waiting room to go in for the
- 32:20surgery. And I left the hospital, got on
- 32:23the bus, flew back home, admitted to my wife that I had
- 32:26was at the place to have surgery and said I'm not going to do it.
- 32:29I really need to get my life back together and not get this
- 32:33going. Were you still married at this
- 32:35point and were you trying to make it work the.
- 32:38I was trying to make it work but.
- 32:40How does she respond to that? Yeah, I think she was skeptical,
- 32:44but she was not willing to try. But I I think here's the thing
- 32:49that when anybody has suffered extensive childhood trauma, we
- 32:55need to be really clear about how deep and how long and how
- 33:01much therapy that person needs to get right with themselves.
- 33:05And it's not an easy fix. And there's a lot that needs to
- 33:08be dealt with emotionally and psychologically.
- 33:13And so I, I, I want people to understand if you've suffered
- 33:18any kind of sexual abuse, physical abuse or emotional
- 33:21abuse, you need a trauma therapist.
- 33:23You don't need a gender therapist and you need you need
- 33:26to commit for long term therapy depending on the extent of of
- 33:31what's going on in your life. And you would eventually get
- 33:34that therapy later. I would after.
- 33:36After after going through. Yeah, after, after the fact.
- 33:40Yeah, after being, you know, completely tore up and ripped
- 33:44up. And, you know, I was never
- 33:46suicidal until after I had the surgery.
- 33:49I attempted suicide twice. Let's go back to that time if we
- 33:53if we can, and I meant to ask something earlier.
- 33:55I'd like to ask you if it's OK is, was faith a part of your
- 34:00childhood? Was it a part of your marriage?
- 34:03How did you see God during all of this time?
- 34:05Yeah, I think, you know, I went to church from the time I was
- 34:07seven years old. And so I think, you know,
- 34:11there's a lot of us who go to church, church and, and we think
- 34:17we're connecting, but we're just going through the motions and
- 34:20we're saying the words we're reading, singing the songs and
- 34:23but we really, we really haven't connected with the Lord and, and
- 34:29giving our life to the Lord, that's a whole different scope
- 34:32of things, isn't it? And so throughout my marriage,
- 34:36we went to church, we went to Forest Home Christian Conference
- 34:40Center in the mountains as a family.
- 34:42My kids accepted Jesus. And so we're a family of faith.
- 34:47But again, I go back and say this, this happens to people of
- 34:52faith because they've they've been damaged.
- 34:57And because they're not looking directly into the eyes of Jesus
- 35:01Christ, they're looking into the eyes of a gender therapist.
- 35:05Jesus is going to help you. The gender therapist is going to
- 35:09ruin you. I think also there's more
- 35:11awareness and resources than maybe there were, you know,
- 35:1430-40, fifty years ago. This was, of course, 4030 to 40
- 35:18years ago when you were going back to your wife after that
- 35:21first, you know, flying to Colorado for the surgery.
- 35:25You just said I can't, I'm not going to do this.
- 35:27You left was was your faith a part of that decision at like
- 35:31you wanted to have this life of, you know, a faithful husband, a
- 35:34a Good Wife, kids. Is that what you was at war with
- 35:37inside of you at the time? You know the one thing I always
- 35:39I had this picture. I can picture it today.
- 35:41I had a picture of myself in a cabin at the edge of a lake.
- 35:45You know, staying married to one woman, nice kids, taking care of
- 35:49the family, being responsible. And I trashed it all with one
- 35:56stupid, ridiculous mistake of allowing somebody to carve me up
- 36:01like a piece of sushi. So you went back?
- 36:07So. You went back to Colorado.
- 36:11About a year and a half later, you know, and so I was just too
- 36:15badly damaged. And that's what I see in the
- 36:17people I work with. The damage is too extensive and
- 36:21we don't go to the right people to get help with, we go to the
- 36:23wrong people. And so I that's why I keep
- 36:28coming back to it. Don't go to a gender therapist.
- 36:32They only have one thing in mind and it is not to help you.
- 36:36After you had, you went back to the Colorado, you went for that
- 36:42surgery, was the marriage at this point over or was it?
- 36:45Yeah, it was, yeah. So you you had you done an
- 36:49absolution or a dissolution at this point?
- 36:51Yeah, we. It was, we knew it was over.
- 36:53You know, I think there was just, it was, it was a terrible
- 36:57time because you know, the, the level of pain from the childhood
- 37:02and then seeing your career collapse, you know, you're,
- 37:05you're going through this stuff because after I had the surgery,
- 37:10I was terminated from my great job immediately.
- 37:13And why? Because of what I did did.
- 37:17You show up to work as a. Dressed as a woman?
- 37:19No, I just told them I was doing it and they they gave me a box
- 37:22that put your stuff in it. Were eliminating your job.
- 37:24See, They didn't want to fire me, they said we've decided to
- 37:27eliminate your position in the company so that means we don't
- 37:30need you. Clever way of terminating it.
- 37:34So within within a few weeks I was homeless and living in a
- 37:39park in Long Beach, CA in a pile of vomit.
- 37:42What did you think when you went in for that surgery?
- 37:46Not the first time when you left, but the second time when
- 37:48you actually went through with it?
- 37:49What did you think was going to happen afterwards?
- 37:51Were you hopeful that your life was going to change for the
- 37:54better? You must have been.
- 37:55I think I was still trying to get rid of the pain, you know,
- 37:58because no one was telling me there was an alternative about
- 38:02how to get rid of the the pain. Being sexually abused, being
- 38:06physically abused, being emotionally abused.
- 38:10My mom admitted to my wife today, not today, but I mean the
- 38:14wife I have today. But she admitted before she died
- 38:17that she almost killed me and I knew that there was something
- 38:20that happened between us. But she.
- 38:23When you were what age? Of Round 2.
- 38:27Did she try to kill you or you? She just gets so angry that she
- 38:30shook me so hard that, you know, she is, you know, shaking
- 38:34syndrome. She just lost it.
- 38:37And, and I remember things like that and I even confronted her
- 38:41about it one time and she said it didn't happen.
- 38:43But before she died, she admitted that it did.
- 38:49So when you got that sex change surgery, you thought this is
- 38:53finally going to resolve this pain inside of me because now
- 38:57I'm going to be crystal. I mean, did you assume a name?
- 39:00Laura Jensen is the name. Laura Jensen And so, because now
- 39:05Laura Jensen, she's a new person.
- 39:07This is this Walt. History is not hers.
- 39:10That kid is not. This is the real person, Laura,
- 39:13and she doesn't have the baggage.
- 39:17Which is a total crock because you're still the same person.
- 39:20You just change the cover. It's like changing the cover on
- 39:24a book. The writing inside still the
- 39:26same. And and so we're trying to mask
- 39:32the truth, trying to cover up the truth.
- 39:34We're not being honest with ourself.
- 39:36And so I lived the life for eight years, but during those
- 39:40eight years I worked for the FDICI, got federal jobs, I
- 39:46worked at the post office. There was never a time when I
- 39:51wasn't struggling now. And, and I think it's
- 39:55instructive for us to understand, I was still
- 39:56struggling because I'd never dealt with being physically
- 39:59abused, emotionally abused and psychologically abused.
- 40:02And and so when you don't resolve those things, and by the
- 40:07way, if you do resolve them, you'll never want to have
- 40:09hormones and surgery. Did you feel any short term
- 40:14relief after the sex change surgery?
- 40:16Yeah. Probably for about 72 hours.
- 40:20Like a like a high, like a lot different now.
- 40:23Was it physically painful? Yeah, to some degree, but I
- 40:29don't think I think it was the whole thing for me was all
- 40:32psychological and emotional. And it's just a sad tale when
- 40:38you're when you're trying to erase who you are and try to
- 40:44become someone you can never become.
- 40:46And that's all it is. Well, besides the sex change
- 40:50surgery, what are some of the other things that you did around
- 40:53that time to achieve transition and what were you doing in those
- 40:57that eight-year period to try to really be that, Laura?
- 41:01I had, I had face peels, I had all kinds of other chin implants
- 41:05and nose surgeries. And I went, I did all these
- 41:09crazy things. Sad to say, again, I didn't want
- 41:15to be the person who had been abused.
- 41:18And so we can't recreate ourself and hormones are not effective
- 41:26in changing your gender. Having all the same body parts
- 41:30reversed and changed around doesn't change who you are.
- 41:35You still have all your same parts.
- 41:37They just rearrange them and put them in a different place.
- 41:41So the reality of this is how it devalues you, dehumanizes you,
- 41:48and destroys you. That's all this.
- 41:50That's all the procedures do. Devalue, dehumanize and destroy.
- 41:54That's the equation of being a transgender identifying person.
- 41:59If someone had met you and I'm sure you know, you're meeting
- 42:01people and maybe they were asking this, I don't know.
- 42:04But let's say like a few years into that transition process,
- 42:07let's say you got the first, you know, facial surgery adjustment
- 42:10to try to feminize. And you know, you've obviously
- 42:13had this initial sex change surgery get not changing your
- 42:15sex, but doing this procedure. And if somebody had said to you
- 42:20at that time, are you you're doing this whole thing now.
- 42:23You're Laura, you used to be Walt, you don't you're not
- 42:26married anymore. If someone had said to you, are
- 42:28you happy? Do you feel like you're you're
- 42:30you now? What would that Walt at that
- 42:33time have? Said, I don't know.
- 42:35You know, no one ever posed that question.
- 42:37I, I scared everybody. They didn't know what to say to
- 42:40me because they, most of the people I ran into had never
- 42:42heard of anybody. They didn't know what they were
- 42:44doing. They didn't know what they were
- 42:45dealing with. And I think people were afraid
- 42:49to say anything. And so I scared him, scared him
- 42:55straight, I guess, you know, they just couldn't say anything.
- 42:58And I, I had a lot of friends who I, I believe were trying to
- 43:02help me, but they really didn't know how.
- 43:05And it took a long time For me, I think it was after I wrote a
- 43:10poem and I was posing it to the Lord.
- 43:13It was called Who am I? And I, I was in the poem, which
- 43:18got published in Omni magazine many years ago, talked about I'm
- 43:23reaching out to you. Are you there for me?
- 43:25I need you. My life has been broken and
- 43:27scattered across decades. I need you.
- 43:30Will you please reach down and help me?
- 43:34How many years into the transition were you?
- 43:36That was about seven years. And did you hear an answer?
- 43:41I didn't and I started going, you know, I had my alcohol and
- 43:46drug use and in just a few weeks I'll have 39 years clean and
- 43:51sober. Wow.
- 43:52And so. That is.
- 43:53Awesome. Yeah.
- 43:55So congratulations. Well, yeah.
- 43:56So I was working with a Christian psychologist on my 4th
- 44:00step, which you go in and you go through a whole series of things
- 44:04where you do forgiveness to everybody you have blamed for
- 44:08your broken life. And so we spent many hours going
- 44:12through. I had a list.
- 44:13This was. This is why you were still in
- 44:16transition. This is you.
- 44:17Were so Laura, I had gone back to Walt by now.
- 44:19OK, this was like 1990 got it. And so it's getting sober.
- 44:25I started in 86 so I'd had about four years of sobriety and so
- 44:31I'd written that poem and I didn't hear anything that was
- 44:3688. I believe I wrote the poem.
- 44:39So two years later, I'm working on my sobriety and and I'm doing
- 44:44the four step and I'm in an office with a psychologist and
- 44:50we're going through these things, had gone through many of
- 44:52the things we just talked about being abused physically,
- 44:55emotionally and psychologically. And I'd forgiven each one of
- 44:58those people sort of like emptying the junk out of the
- 45:01trunk. And at that point, I took time
- 45:04to, and that's what the one thing that about sobriety, you
- 45:08go through this and you begin to take responsibility for your
- 45:10life and don't blame anybody. And that's what I was cleaning
- 45:14up in the four step. So I forgave everybody.
- 45:17I took full responsibility for what happened in my life.
- 45:21And we went outside his office after hours.
- 45:24I had all this stuff written down into the parking lot, and
- 45:29he took a match to the paper that I had all these things
- 45:32written down on. And he lit a match to burn them
- 45:36up. And they burned up and went
- 45:40away. The wind just carried it away.
- 45:42And he said, patted me on the shoulder.
- 45:44He says, come on now. We need to go pray about what
- 45:46happened. And this guy is one of those
- 45:49people who prays forever. And I thought, I've already
- 45:51spent 2 1/2 hours with you. And it's like, I really don't,
- 45:54you know, I didn't tell him this, but in my head, I'm going.
- 45:56I'm prayed up. I'm prayed up.
- 45:58It's like we've been, you know, we prayed about all this.
- 46:00I don't know if I want to do this.
- 46:01And and he said we got to pray about it and I'm oh, I don't
- 46:04know. He said, yeah, come on.
- 46:05So he got me to come back to his office.
- 46:08He said across from me, we started praying and I, I was so
- 46:12tired. I, I was just listening to him,
- 46:14but I wasn't connecting with the prayer.
- 46:17And he kept praying and he kept praying and he kept praying and
- 46:21I'm going, Oh my gosh, how long is this going to last?
- 46:25And I was starting to feel bad about the fact that I couldn't
- 46:28connect, you know, and all of a sudden I couldn't hear him and
- 46:32his voice went silent. And, and I looked up and I saw
- 46:38the Lord Jesus. And the Lord Jesus was coming
- 46:41down and in front of me there was a little baby I could see.
- 46:46And the baby that was there was me.
- 46:50And the Lord was coming down and picked up that baby, held that
- 46:54baby in his arms, turned to me and looked at me and said, you
- 46:57are now safe with me forever. And he disappeared.
- 47:00And the prayer was over. That was the day that it was
- 47:03redeemed and restored to Jesus Christ.
- 47:06I've never. Looked back, beautiful.
- 47:11Wow, he loves you so much. Yeah, so I've been serving him
- 47:19ever since. I'm still in his arms today.
- 47:21You're doing a great job. He's done a great work in me and
- 47:29just keeps me going. So I'm I'm thrilled that he came
- 47:33that day in a prayer that I didn't want to have.
- 47:37I was tired and I didn't want to pray.
- 47:41But he came not because I invited him, because I'd written
- 47:46a poem two years earlier and he just answered the poem two years
- 47:51later. Wow, how many years ago was
- 47:58that, Walt? Well, 1990, 3535 years ago,
- 48:06yeah, so. And since then, I'm married 28
- 48:10years, sober 39 years, and been in helping people for over 20
- 48:17years find their way back to Christ.
- 48:20And if they didn't find their way back to Christ, at least
- 48:23they were able to find their way out of identifying as a person
- 48:27they're not and found their true identity, which is how God made
- 48:31them to function and be how He made them.
- 48:36I'm excited to talk to you more about that ministry because it's
- 48:39incredible. Thank you.
- 48:41I want to ask you one more question on the timeline here
- 48:44because I think it's it's very educational for people.
- 48:48You have this amazing encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ
- 48:51changes you forever. He loves you so much.
- 48:54He loves us so much. Before that you had this, it was
- 48:57at 8 years in the wilderness identifying as Laura and you
- 49:02towards the end of that. I'm curious, you know, you're
- 49:04still in hurting inside a lot like you were sharing.
- 49:07What was it that helped you start to identify again as Walt
- 49:10and leave? But there was a huge battle
- 49:13inside of me, and so I was literally switching back and
- 49:17forth from Laura to Walt four or five times a day.
- 49:23This was the whole time of the eight years or more.
- 49:25No, just toward the end there was this sort of crescendo of
- 49:30things happening after the the poem and after attempting
- 49:34suicide. All kinds of things were
- 49:37happening. I mean, I was struggling.
- 49:39I was trying to fight back, but the enemy was stronger than I
- 49:42was and I was battling. And so is this.
- 49:45I'd be Walt, I'd be going down the road.
- 49:47I'd pull into a gas station and change back to Laura.
- 49:50I'd leave the gas station and go an hour and change again.
- 49:53So I didn't, I mean, I was going through turmoil about who I was
- 49:57and. Is that, excuse me, not to
- 50:00interrupt here, but you mentioned the suicide, the
- 50:02attempted suicide, Was that during this period?
- 50:06So you attempted suicide while you were going back and forth
- 50:09between the identities. Yeah.
- 50:11And, and and was there one suicide attempt attempt?
- 50:15There were two suicide attempts. Can you share the circumstances
- 50:19around those? Yeah, well, the first one was
- 50:22kind of early on in this process, probably less than a
- 50:26year, and I tried to overdose on cocaine and I really was in bad
- 50:34shape. But the Lord goes, no, not
- 50:37coming home yet. And so the next time was several
- 50:41years later when I was on top of a building getting ready to
- 50:45jump, and they called the police, and the police came and
- 50:48got me down and actually took me to jail.
- 50:53But it was after that that I wrote the poem Who Am I?
- 50:57And so from that point on, I was in even greater turmoil because
- 51:03I think I was really trying to kill Walt and Laura.
- 51:09I didn't want either one of them.
- 51:10I didn't know where I was going. And so, you know, one would come
- 51:17out and the other would come out.
- 51:18And so I, I ended up going to therapy sometimes four times a
- 51:23week, or I had people that would make made that possible because
- 51:29I couldn't afford it. But there are people around me
- 51:32in the church I was going to that made it possible for me to
- 51:35see a therapist frequently, which probably saved my life.
- 51:40But so going through that and then getting that time with the
- 51:46the the therapist where the Lord came, then that's when things
- 51:51changed. And then everything was behind
- 51:53me. The four steps you mentioned,
- 51:56you know, going through that process with this with your, was
- 51:59it a therapist or that was doing that process with you and he was
- 52:02a sponsor. He was a Christian therapist.
- 52:04What was the, I mean, what you described earlier was
- 52:07incredible. This process of, you know, the
- 52:09forgiveness and prayer and then this encounter with Jesus
- 52:13Christ. What would you say were the two
- 52:14or three things that you did in therapy during that period that
- 52:19helped you break free from the this false identity of Laura and
- 52:24that helped you heal that emotional, psychological, sexual
- 52:28abuse that you had endured? Yeah, definitely stopped blaming
- 52:31people and realizing that you're the only one responsible for
- 52:36what's going on. If you want to see the person
- 52:38that's causing you the biggest problem in your life, look in
- 52:41the mirror and you'll find them because there's nobody else but
- 52:45the one you're looking at. And I learned that in therapy,
- 52:48and I learned that from a A. And so I I can only change
- 52:53myself. I can't change other people.
- 52:55And if I'm going to find my way out of this, I need to, I need
- 53:00to work on myself, not other people.
- 53:02And so when I did that that day, I didn't realize that he'd been
- 53:07preparing me for two years since I wrote the poem for that day.
- 53:11And so there was a lot of stuff that I went through and, and in
- 53:17that process, again, I think it's instructive for us to hear.
- 53:22It took me two years, right? Two years of therapy.
- 53:25Well, two years of recognizing that I needed it wasn't two
- 53:29years of therapy. I was probably in therapy longer
- 53:31than that, actually, but there was some a much deeper intense
- 53:35therapy toward the end when the Lord came.
- 53:38But I was giving, you know, I was giving up alcohol, right?
- 53:41I mean, I didn't have my crutch. I didn't have drugs, I didn't
- 53:45have the numbing anymore. I was just facing life head on
- 53:49and I was now facing life head on with the Lord Jesus Christ as
- 53:53my backbone in my heart and my soul.
- 53:57And that's something that you just can't.
- 54:00There's just nothing better. There's a kind of therapy EMDR
- 54:07that a lot of folks say is very powerful in treating trauma
- 54:12right. Did you ever use EMDR?
- 54:14I didn't use EMDR therapy, no. There's a kind of therapy that
- 54:19it sounds like it you effectively did it, you know,
- 54:21supernaturally God did it with you of also going back in time
- 54:25and going to the scenarios of the abuse, the scenario, the
- 54:29events that were so painful and looking at that child, typically
- 54:35that is enduring that abuse and responding with what that child
- 54:39should have been given as opposed to the abuse that that
- 54:42child endured. Absolutely.
- 54:45That was something that you worked on with therapists as
- 54:47part of your process. And that does take time, right?
- 54:51And that's gut wrenching work right there.
- 54:52And. It and one session typically
- 54:55doesn't do it, although I've heard people say that one
- 54:57session they've been able to do it.
- 54:59Wow. So you just can't underestimate
- 55:02how some people can process it and how some people can be do
- 55:06very good with EMDR therapy and other people don't.
- 55:09So I think it's a matter of if one therapy doesn't work, try
- 55:13another one. Right.
- 55:15I wanted to ask too about the impact.
- 55:18You mentioned your marriage. You mentioned the separation,
- 55:21the dissolution of that marriage.
- 55:23You also had two kids during this time.
- 55:25How old were they when you started transitioning?
- 55:28Probably 12 and 15 or somewhere in that.
- 55:33Neighborhood boy and girl. Yeah.
- 55:35How did they receive your transition?
- 55:37Well, my son, when he was 12, had an interesting response.
- 55:43He said. Yeah, I, I, I understand what
- 55:46you're trying to do outside, but I know who you are inside.
- 55:51You're my dad, yeah. And so my daughter just shut
- 55:56down and it really, really hurt her deeply because we were
- 56:02really close. And thankfully, we're close
- 56:05today. But yeah, I I think any father
- 56:11who does this and I say does this to their children.
- 56:16Does what transition? Yeah, I mean.
- 56:18Becomes a woman. Yeah, not.
- 56:20You're not becoming a woman. You're destroying your family.
- 56:24You know you're going to regret it deeply.
- 56:29And if you have a heart and soul, let me tell you, your kids
- 56:33and your wife are a lot more important than you are.
- 56:37Or a dress or putting on makeup or your little red pumps.
- 56:41Forget it. Your kids are a million times
- 56:44more important than anything you could ever do to, you know, look
- 56:48like a woman. Skip it.
- 56:51Selfish. Stop being selfish and realize
- 56:55that your kids need you and that's who you need to work on
- 56:58is with your children. There's a number of
- 57:02personalities, public figures who or biological are men,
- 57:08biological men and they transitioned become they're
- 57:11saying they're women, transgender women.
- 57:14They have children. And you know, there's one
- 57:17example is Bruce Jenner, you know, now called Caitlyn Jenner,
- 57:21obviously the father of multiple Jenner children, I think a son
- 57:25and multiple daughters. You know, I think he says or she
- 57:29says, you know, she says she's she's a he, but he says we have
- 57:33a good relationship. You know, some of the Kardashian
- 57:36Jenner girls, one of them, I think it was Kylie was
- 57:39expressing, she felt uncomfortable, like is this is
- 57:42still dad, but now it's mom. But I ought to have a mom.
- 57:45And I think. But the general kind of media
- 57:47story of the of Bruce Jenner's transition was everyone's OK in
- 57:51the end, there's a little discomfort.
- 57:53But now finally, Caitlin is living her real, you know,
- 57:56identity. Do you buy that narrative?
- 57:59I think people will, you know, around Jenner, learn to cope
- 58:04with it, but, you know, deep down inside, nobody's really
- 58:07talking about how they really feel, right?
- 58:10Because it's not. You're not going to gain any
- 58:14friends by saying my dad's an idiot and I don't like what he's
- 58:18done. And it's really harmed me.
- 58:20I think we need to understand that people are doing things in
- 58:24an effort to try not to create any discord in the family.
- 58:29So I think there's a lot of people making up things.
- 58:33And, you know, if you look at Diane Sawyer's interview with
- 58:37Jenner, he talked about after going for facial surgery, talked
- 58:41about he paced the floor all night thinking about committing
- 58:45suicide. That's that's in the Diane
- 58:48Sawyer Bruce Jenner film. And so I think everybody comes
- 58:54to this precipice where they don't they they're struggling.
- 58:59But Jenner is not a female. Sorry, Jenner's still Bruce.
- 59:05Well, he identifies, and I think that's a clear distinction.
- 59:09You can identify as a transgender.
- 59:12You can never become one. I want to show you a video of
- 59:18one of these sort of public figure slash influencers.
- 59:22There's multiple now, you know, figures like, you know, Bruce
- 59:26Jenner, but there's others as well who are kind of Instagram,
- 59:29social media influencers, TikTok influencers where they're men
- 59:32that transition. And so they're very much, you
- 59:35know, presenting in a feminine way.
- 59:37Several of these people are married, two women have
- 59:40children. And their whole narrative is
- 59:42everybody's happy and my true self.
- 59:44Now look how great we are. I want to get your thoughts on
- 59:46this one. This is a popular TikTok and IG
- 59:51influencer here. Now it says, I see that my life
- 59:54has unfolded just as it was meant to be.
- 59:56And obviously there's this beautiful soundtrack.
- 59:58They take these beautiful images and you know, we're playing this
- 1:00:01for the podcast listeners for if you're listening on audio right
- 1:00:04now, there's these like beautiful images.
- 1:00:06Him and a very cute little boy, sweet little boy, you know,
- 1:00:08marries this lovely woman, has these beautiful kids.
- 1:00:11And all of a sudden, BAM, he's dressed as a woman, long hair
- 1:00:13now and he's saying we're all so happy now.
- 1:00:16What, what do you make of this? I mean, based on your experience
- 1:00:18and all of the research you've done on this now the the
- 1:00:20thousands of people you've counseled, what, what do you
- 1:00:23make of that? Well, this is just one chapter.
- 1:00:27It's not the final chapter. If we this is where they are at
- 1:00:31this point. But we don't know if the
- 1:00:34person's suffering from autogynophilia, they're
- 1:00:37suffering from body dysmorphia. If they're doing it just because
- 1:00:41they make a lot of money off of TikTok.
- 1:00:43Some of these people are doing it just for the money as they
- 1:00:46get a lot of money off of it. So I don't have those answers.
- 1:00:50I just know that if you were to take the time to sit down with
- 1:00:54the individual and look at their life, you would find out that
- 1:00:58something happened early in their life that caused them to
- 1:01:02not like who they are. And if you spend time addressing
- 1:01:06what that issue is and spend time in resolving what caused
- 1:01:10them to not like who they are, they wouldn't be doing this.
- 1:01:13And so, you know, the final chapter is going to be 20 years
- 1:01:18from now. Tell me what it's like.
- 1:01:20Tell me what the kids are saying.
- 1:01:23He. Says on his account my kids are
- 1:01:26so happy and he has videos. He films videos of his children,
- 1:01:31very young children. I think 1 is maybe six years
- 1:01:34old. Yeah.
- 1:01:35Now it's still my I I even call Mama now, not Papa, I mean.
- 1:01:39And they said he's putting him on the Internet for the whole
- 1:01:42world to. Show this is just way too
- 1:01:43painful for me because the the the kids are being traumatized,
- 1:01:49they're being abused. The kids of the man who says
- 1:01:53he's a woman. Abusing those children.
- 1:01:55This is child abuse, pure and simple.
- 1:01:59This is not this. He's playing a game and
- 1:02:02destroying kids identities during kids lives.
- 1:02:06He's he's in it for himself. It is all about him.
- 1:02:11It's all about him. This is empowerment, narcissism.
- 1:02:15He's narcissistic and he doesn't really care about what happens
- 1:02:19to other people, only about what happens to him.
- 1:02:22Everything is me, me, me. Nothing about the effects on
- 1:02:26other people. This to me is tragic.
- 1:02:29It actually makes me ill to see these people do this.
- 1:02:32They're making a lot of money off of it.
- 1:02:34One thing you won't find me on TikTok or anything else is
- 1:02:37because I don't, you know, I just speak the truth.
- 1:02:40I'm not out for the money. You're talking, we're talking
- 1:02:44earlier about that. You're, it's a nonprofit and
- 1:02:46you, you count, you've counseled thousands of people, giving them
- 1:02:49advice, flew out to meet with them, and you do that for free.
- 1:02:52It's just out of love. Absolutely.
- 1:02:55You mentioned autoguidophilia. Yeah, there's someone like, you
- 1:03:00know, Rachel Levine is the name that he uses now, but was, you
- 1:03:04know, decorated military leader that it was actually given an
- 1:03:09appointment by President Biden, you know, infamously, famously,
- 1:03:14everyone say it obviously mentioned Bruce Jenner.
- 1:03:16Are there many others? Leah, Leah.
- 1:03:22Thomas, There's Leah Thomas there's, I think if we can
- 1:03:25follow Leah Thomas, probably one of the few people with good
- 1:03:29courage, bad manners, but good courage came out and said I'm
- 1:03:35autogynophilia actually put it on a social platform.
- 1:03:39And I think that's being honest and I think that's important
- 1:03:45that this manifest itself. What is autogynophilia?
- 1:03:49OK, a guy becomes dressed in women's clothing and looks in
- 1:03:54the mirror and what he sees in the mirror is the object of his
- 1:03:59sexual affection. He becomes sexually aroused.
- 1:04:01They made a movie on it. It was called The Danish Girl
- 1:04:06and you can go look at the movie.
- 1:04:07You can see Otto genophilia depicted in The Danish Girl and
- 1:04:12it talks about one of the first surgeries that was ever done to
- 1:04:16quote transition a male to a female and that individual in
- 1:04:20the story in the movie accurately portrayed the person
- 1:04:23dying from surgery. From the sex change surgery.
- 1:04:29From attempting a sex. Nobody has a sex change.
- 1:04:32But yeah, so I think, you know, there's, you know, the history.
- 1:04:37Even Doctor Charles L Ellenfeld was at the Harry Benjamin Clinic
- 1:04:42in the 70s, was the endocrinologist at the clinic,
- 1:04:47worked there for six years, administering hormones to over
- 1:04:49500 men who were transitioning. Quote, that's their word, not
- 1:04:54mine. And he was speaking to
- 1:04:57clinicians in Tappan, NY in 79. And he says, I'm going into
- 1:05:02psychiatry because these people have much deeper psychological
- 1:05:06issues that need to be addressed that you can't.
- 1:05:09You're not helping them with giving them hormones because
- 1:05:13what I have seen is too much unhappiness and too many of them
- 1:05:17end in suicide. Even after transition.
- 1:05:22AS 19 times more likely to die by suicide after you take
- 1:05:27hormones and have surgery. 19 times higher incidence of
- 1:05:32suicide after you take hormones and have surgery.
- 1:05:36But people say you, they lie, they say you need to take they
- 1:05:39lie in surgery, otherwise you will commit suicide.
- 1:05:41No, it's totally. And they flip everything upside
- 1:05:44down. They say you change genders.
- 1:05:46Nobody's ever changed genders. Nobody.
- 1:05:49So the you're saying the research shows that you're 19
- 1:05:52times more likely to commit suicide if you are struggling
- 1:05:57with gender dysphoria and you have the surgery and you have
- 1:06:00the hormones, it makes you more likely to commit suicide.
- 1:06:03Yeah. Wow.
- 1:06:05Yeah, it's documented. Sweden, they track everybody for
- 1:06:09over 30 years because it's medicine that they do government
- 1:06:14wise. So they have everybody's
- 1:06:15records. And their records show that the
- 1:06:18people they helped with hormones and surgery were 19 times more
- 1:06:22likely to commit suicide attempt suicide than the people that
- 1:06:25didn't have hormones and surgery.
- 1:06:28Further, the University in of Birmingham in the UK did an
- 1:06:33extensive study in 2004. It was published in the UK
- 1:06:37Guardian, which is no right wing magazine that the headline says
- 1:06:42sex change surgeries are ineffective, say researchers in
- 1:06:46the third paragraph. It also echoes the fact that the
- 1:06:50people who've gone through hormones and surgery are
- 1:06:53traumatized, quote, traumatized to the point of suicide after
- 1:06:58sex change surgery at some point.
- 1:07:02So these are not I'm just telling you what the research is
- 1:07:05showing. And we know that if they, you
- 1:07:09know, I've worked with, as I've said, thousands of people,
- 1:07:12including myself. I have never been counted among
- 1:07:15the people who had unsuccessful or regretted.
- 1:07:22I'm not a regretter. According to them, I don't
- 1:07:24exist. So they don't count regretters
- 1:07:27to keep the numbers low. I don't know anybody that I've
- 1:07:31worked with that's ever been counted among the group who had
- 1:07:35a regrettable outcome. So if you don't count them, you
- 1:07:38can keep the numbers pretty low. Have you heard of Jazz Jennings?
- 1:07:43Yeah, yeah, that's a sad story. Follow that.
- 1:07:47That's a mess. I mean, that speaks for itself.
- 1:07:53Speaks for itself. Yeah.
- 1:07:56I mean, the person's life's been destroyed by it.
- 1:08:01There's nothing good about that. Why would you, man?
- 1:08:04It is. That's painful.
- 1:08:06And the surgeon who did the surgery has done a lot of
- 1:08:12surgeries and makes 1.3 million a year doing the surgeries.
- 1:08:18I've had people contact me saying that they did the surgery
- 1:08:21and it and it was terrible and want me to help him so.
- 1:08:25I think Jazz was how old? I mean, he had a number.
- 1:08:28He was, he was put on hormone block, puberty blockers.
- 1:08:32I mean they started cross dressing him when he was maybe 5
- 1:08:35or 6, right? Little boy, little kid.
- 1:08:38And then they did a reality show on him and he's being cross
- 1:08:42dressed. Put the hormone blockers on.
- 1:08:44They have, they have, they're injecting him in the doctor's
- 1:08:47office. He's like 11 or 12 I think.
- 1:08:49And then they go in at forecast, you know, not you, like you
- 1:08:52said, not castration per SE, but they called bottom surgery when
- 1:08:55he's, I don't know, he was 15 or 16 years old.
- 1:08:59Yeah, this is Frankenstein stuff.
- 1:09:02The Frankenstein monster. We're just making
- 1:09:04Frankenstein's. How many people have reached out
- 1:09:08to you since you first shared your story over?
- 1:09:11Is it been 30-30 years now since you first shared?
- 1:09:14Shared it was probably, I don't know, 20 years ago.
- 1:09:18I guess I have no. Idea publicly, it's been, it's
- 1:09:20been about a couple decades. Yeah, about 20 years.
- 1:09:23How many people have reached out to, would you say?
- 1:09:25I don't even know. Thousands.
- 1:09:27Oh yeah. Oh yeah.
- 1:09:29And thankfully some of the people who are thinking about
- 1:09:33doing it saw my story and wrote me and said, I don't even need
- 1:09:36to talk to you because I just heard what I need to know.
- 1:09:40I'm not going to do it. And I've had the occasion to
- 1:09:43talk to people on the phone that were thinking about doing it.
- 1:09:46And they actually told me, thanks, I think you saved my
- 1:09:49life so. I bet there's and there's for
- 1:09:53everyone that sends you that e-mail.
- 1:09:56Oh yeah, same thing. You.
- 1:09:59You helped persuade them not to do this.
- 1:10:01Yeah, I, I've, I've had that happen where people have run
- 1:10:04across. I was at an NRB conference in
- 1:10:07Tennessee and somebody ran across room and said, Oh my
- 1:10:09gosh, you're helping so many people in South Africa.
- 1:10:12What do you mean? I've never even been there.
- 1:10:14And they said, oh, yeah, but we use your videos and it really
- 1:10:18helps people. So, you know, I, I just know
- 1:10:22that this is insane to tell somebody they can change.
- 1:10:28It's a lie that they can change their gender.
- 1:10:31They can't do it. If we could, why are we even
- 1:10:36using the terminology transgender?
- 1:10:39Because because there's people on the left that want you to use
- 1:10:43it. Because if you use the word
- 1:10:45transgender, then it sounds like somebody changed their gender.
- 1:10:50And so that's why they love people who say I'm a
- 1:10:52detransitioner because then it effectively says, oh, we really
- 1:10:58did change them from male to female or female to male,
- 1:11:02because now they're D transitioning.
- 1:11:04I don't even use those terms. To me, there are no D
- 1:11:07transitioners. There are no transitioners.
- 1:11:10The people don't have gender dysphoria and there's no such
- 1:11:13thing as a transgender. There are people who struggle
- 1:11:17with their identity. And if we spend time digging
- 1:11:20into what happened that caused them to not like who they are,
- 1:11:23we will find out what happened. And you talked about EMDR
- 1:11:27therapy and this one of the best examples.
- 1:11:29I've got a lot of them. But one of the best examples, a
- 1:11:32guy's 73 years old and he's writing me and he says I have a
- 1:11:37gender therapist I've been going to for years.
- 1:11:40I at 13, I started identifying as a female.
- 1:11:43I'm transgender. I transitioned.
- 1:11:46I did all this stuff and he said, I looked at your website
- 1:11:51and I'm just curious what you have to say.
- 1:11:53And so I wrote him back and I said, well, and I did.
- 1:11:56I wrote him back. This is exact words.
- 1:11:58Your therapist is a quack. You've never transitioned.
- 1:12:02You're not a transgender, and I doubt that you have gender
- 1:12:05dysphoria. If you're going to work with me,
- 1:12:06we're going to find out what really happened.
- 1:12:09And so he wrote back and he said, well, that's interesting.
- 1:12:11What do you want to know? I said, you, you started to have
- 1:12:14these feelings when you were thirteen years old.
- 1:12:17Tell me also, I want to know is what happened when you were 13?
- 1:12:20Tell me what was going on in your life, what your atmosphere
- 1:12:23of your life in your home? What was it like?
- 1:12:26He wrote back and said, my mom was a raging alcoholic.
- 1:12:29She would get a butcher knife and chase my dad around the
- 1:12:32house trying to murder him about three times a week.
- 1:12:36I wrote him back and said, I'm not a therapist, not a doctor,
- 1:12:40but it sounds like that's trauma and you need a trauma therapist.
- 1:12:45And I said, so the next time you go for therapy, tell your gender
- 1:12:49therapist you need a trauma. This is a true story trauma
- 1:12:53therapist and not a gender therapist.
- 1:12:55And Walt Hire told me to tell you that.
- 1:12:57And she goes, well, I'll find out if Walt Hire is right or
- 1:13:00not. I'll test you on the trauma
- 1:13:02scale, is, she said. Because I'm also a trauma
- 1:13:06therapist. The gender specialist.
- 1:13:09The gender specialist was a trauma therapist so now I've
- 1:13:13been collecting 225 bucks a week for years without ever asking
- 1:13:16any questions. Did the Did the gender therapist
- 1:13:19even know about the butcher knife and.
- 1:13:20They don't ever ask. What at what point did did he
- 1:13:24actually get asked question Actually asked questions about
- 1:13:26the butcher knife then? She never asked.
- 1:13:28She never even did, even though so.
- 1:13:30You're saying they don't ever, they don't ever go there?
- 1:13:32Well, what ended up happening with the with the girl?
- 1:13:34Well, so he goes in and she says, OK, we'll, I'll test you
- 1:13:38in on the Asus scale and you're 7 out of 10.
- 1:13:42He's right. You're very high on the trauma
- 1:13:44scale. Instead of doing the usual
- 1:13:47therapy, we're going to do EMDR therapy, which you mentioned,
- 1:13:50which I don't advocate for any kind of therapy because I don't
- 1:13:53know. But she said, but it's going to
- 1:13:55be a longer session, we're going to do EMDR therapy.
- 1:13:58And so he's writing me back a couple of days later.
- 1:14:01And he said, usually my sessions were a lot of fun.
- 1:14:04I enjoyed them, but this was painful.
- 1:14:06It was hard, it was difficult. But won't they want you to know
- 1:14:10something? Here's his word.
- 1:14:11It's not mine. Him.
- 1:14:12Free one session of EMDR therapy, 73 years old, 60 years
- 1:14:20of history. He's free. 60 years of misery
- 1:14:24solved in one session because I asked what happened.
- 1:14:29Did he go back to his true identity?
- 1:14:32Yeah, was the gender therapist. Matt, Where's my girl, I mean.
- 1:14:37You know, he I kept writing him every week.
- 1:14:39Are you still OK? And he'd write back and say,
- 1:14:41yeah, I'm fine. I'm telling you I'm free.
- 1:14:43I did it for an entire month. I said, I'd like to tell your
- 1:14:46story. And he got angry.
- 1:14:48He said, I'm so angry about this whole thing, about where they
- 1:14:51keep you bound to this whole ideal, this ideology, and you
- 1:14:56can't get out. And he said, I just appreciate
- 1:14:58you telling me, but I, I want nothing to do with this anymore.
- 1:15:01I mean, he was angry. Wow.
- 1:15:03And he didn't want, he didn't want anybody to know that he'd
- 1:15:05gone through that for 60 years for nothing.
- 1:15:09What has been the most one of the most surprising inquiries
- 1:15:13you've gotten from somebody around this issue?
- 1:15:16Yeah, probably the most surprising one was recently
- 1:15:19somebody wrote me there, they had scheduled the surgery.
- 1:15:25Man or woman? Man, wife contacted me and I
- 1:15:28went through the thing about auto gyneophilia.
- 1:15:30She said I don't know, you know, he's pretty secretive about his
- 1:15:33stuff. And so she said he wants to talk
- 1:15:39to you though. He said, you know, 1% chance.
- 1:15:42He said that you have to, to straighten him out.
- 1:15:44That's how much a chance he gave me.
- 1:15:46And so he wrote me and we went back and forth and I said if you
- 1:15:50had any trauma in your life and he said no, none whatsoever.
- 1:15:53I my life has been fine. He said I started wearing
- 1:15:56women's underwear when I was 4. And he said, where did he get
- 1:15:59women's underwear? From his sister.
- 1:16:01And so he said, I knew I had gender dysphoria from the time I
- 1:16:06was 4. So he's locked into this.
- 1:16:09So I went back and forth and I kept saying, you sure there
- 1:16:12wasn't some trauma in your life? And he said, no, I'm telling you
- 1:16:14there was no trauma. And I, I kind of, I just felt
- 1:16:17like he was so adamant about it that there had to be.
- 1:16:21And so I, I said, well, I'm going to is it OK if I write to
- 1:16:25your wife? He said yeah.
- 1:16:26And he agreed to it. So I wrote his wife and said,
- 1:16:29tell me, has he had any trauma in his life?
- 1:16:31She goes, Oh yeah. I said, well, what was the
- 1:16:34trauma? She said well, his mother
- 1:16:39committed suicide by burning the house down with her in it.
- 1:16:44At what age? He was in his 20s.
- 1:16:47Wow. And it was after that that it
- 1:16:50began this whole idea about changing.
- 1:16:56Now here's a guy and saying he had no trauma and when I
- 1:17:01confronted him about his mom burning in the house that was.
- 1:17:05White Did she die? The mother.
- 1:17:06Oh yeah, Burned her crisp. Yeah, done.
- 1:17:10It was horrible. The whole house burned to the
- 1:17:12ground with her in it. But then I come to find out she
- 1:17:15was a very abusive mom. She screamed and yelled at at
- 1:17:20his wife. They had a bad relationship.
- 1:17:22There was nothing good about it. There's tons of trauma around
- 1:17:25that and dad ran off with another lady to Canada.
- 1:17:30I mean, there there was just tons of problems, all kinds of
- 1:17:33adverse childhood stuff. But he couldn't he couldn't
- 1:17:36admit that there was something going on that could be treated
- 1:17:42that would avoid him needing or feeling the need to have
- 1:17:45hormones and surgery. So he went through with the
- 1:17:48surgery, denying that he ever had any trauma.
- 1:17:50And that was just about 3 weeks ago.
- 1:17:52I'm. So sorry.
- 1:17:54So but I you know, they they can't.
- 1:17:57I contacted him only four days. They gave me 4 days before the
- 1:18:01surgery to pull him out of this which was.
- 1:18:04You didn't have a lot of time. Didn't have enough time?
- 1:18:06What do you think that is, though?
- 1:18:07Because I think in most children's lives, there's going
- 1:18:11to be something ambiguous that happens around gender that they
- 1:18:14might be able to remember. Because little kids, you know, a
- 1:18:17boy will pick up a doll. You know, you, you, you put on
- 1:18:21your big sister or brother's clothing.
- 1:18:23You're the little kid. And maybe it's the opposite
- 1:18:25gender with the big sister's underwear.
- 1:18:27So what do you think it is that gives someone like this man?
- 1:18:31If you could hypothesize, if you're willing to, to go back in
- 1:18:35time And he has this big trauma around his 20s where, you know,
- 1:18:38his mother kills herself in this horrific way.
- 1:18:40That's when it sounds like I'm really reading the timeline
- 1:18:43right that you're sharing. That's when he starts to wonder
- 1:18:46about his childhood with my really a, you know, trans.
- 1:18:49What do you make of that? Yeah, I, I think there's two
- 1:18:52things that are real clear about people.
- 1:18:54There's people who have tremendous resilience, can take
- 1:18:57anything and it doesn't affect them.
- 1:19:00They just blow through things because they have tremendous
- 1:19:02resilience. There's other people that have
- 1:19:04very real small amount of resilience and they're the ones
- 1:19:09that fall prey to these ideologies.
- 1:19:11And because of things that happened, their resilience has
- 1:19:14been weakened. And I think in some of these
- 1:19:17cases, we have to dig into what that is.
- 1:19:19So I think you have to look at each case, see what where their
- 1:19:23strengths are in their life for their weaknesses are did they
- 1:19:26have a good strong relationship with their father?
- 1:19:29Was their father absent? Was their mom primary?
- 1:19:32You know, so there's a lot of things to put into the equation.
- 1:19:35So I don't think you can generalize on it.
- 1:19:38But I do think that all of these cases really take a great deal
- 1:19:42of time and exploration into finding out what happened, what
- 1:19:46was the dynamic. And what I found is that if you,
- 1:19:50if you have the opportunity and they give you the opportunity
- 1:19:53to, to dig in and spend time with them, you can find out what
- 1:19:57happened. What happened to make them think
- 1:20:00that they are the other gender? Yeah, that, that either reduce
- 1:20:03their resilience or, you know, I, I some of the cases where a
- 1:20:08girl became a boy, but she saw the dad beating mom and she
- 1:20:13said, I don't want to be the woman who gets beat by a man, so
- 1:20:16I'll be a man. It's just some simple things
- 1:20:19like that. My dad's an alcoholic and my mom
- 1:20:22is not OK. I'm going to be like my mom
- 1:20:25because I don't want to be like my dad.
- 1:20:26I mean, some of these things are fairly simple, but there's other
- 1:20:30things that lead up to it. So I think we we see in the
- 1:20:34final analysis, there's things that click at some point because
- 1:20:38these things transpire over a period of time.
- 1:20:40There's just a moment where they finally go.
- 1:20:42You know, I'm kind of done with that.
- 1:20:46Do you think that, you know, there's so many cases now?
- 1:20:49I don't know what the percentages are.
- 1:20:50You probably do, of young people, very young people
- 1:20:53thinking they're transgender. You know, it's dramatically
- 1:20:56ballooned in the last decade. Yeah, that's because we're
- 1:20:59telling them they're transgender.
- 1:21:01You think it's because we're telling them?
- 1:21:02If we stopped today telling kids they're transgender, we would
- 1:21:07have no transgender kids. We're we're we are manufacturing
- 1:21:13transgender. You don't have a trans kid
- 1:21:15unless you manufacture 1. Now the parent would say usually
- 1:21:20you know, the mom who's on TikTok or whatever, you know,
- 1:21:22whatever could be a very well-intentioned, I'm not trying
- 1:21:24to disparage everybody or anything.
- 1:21:26But let's say they say, well they they told me at 3-4 years
- 1:21:30old, they said I'm a girl mom when they're really a boy.
- 1:21:34Yeah, you know, guess what? You're not.
- 1:21:38You don't have to. You don't have to affirm
- 1:21:39anybody. You can tell them no, you're
- 1:21:41not. And I love you as you are.
- 1:21:44Yeah, if we spend as much time affirming the kid the way they
- 1:21:49were designed in the womb, we wouldn't have any of these.
- 1:21:54Then maybe they would struggle. But we don't need to give them
- 1:21:57hormone blockers. We don't need to do surgery.
- 1:21:59We don't need to dress them in different clothes.
- 1:22:02Stop the madness. This is a a society that is
- 1:22:07destroying the next generation and it is absolutely insane.
- 1:22:15I remember what you said earlier about affirmation, how powerful
- 1:22:18that can be. Oh, it's, it's, it is so
- 1:22:21powerful. That's why they want you to
- 1:22:23affirm people. In the certain direction, it has
- 1:22:26to be their direction. Of course it has to be we.
- 1:22:28We're both for affirmation, but it's affirmation and in your in
- 1:22:31the design you're given. Yeah, in God's design.
- 1:22:34Affirm them in God's design. Do you think part of the
- 1:22:37problem, Walt could be, I mean, I think about gender
- 1:22:41stereotypes. Boys are tough girls like
- 1:22:44flowers, you know, you know, then there's the tomboy, then
- 1:22:47there's the boy who's more maybe interested in things that are
- 1:22:50more stereotypically feminine, right.
- 1:22:52And so you take, you know, we had Leonard Sachs on the on the
- 1:22:55show, I think last year and he's a big, you know, doctor, really
- 1:22:59phenomenal research and work on boys health, raising healthy
- 1:23:02boys, raising healthy girls. ANYWAYS, he was just talking
- 1:23:05about how, you know, just because a boy likes to do
- 1:23:09something that's more stereotypically feminine,
- 1:23:11there's still a boy, you know, not to say that gender roles
- 1:23:15don't matter, they do. But we can be so rigid sometimes
- 1:23:18that we're pushing people away from their own identity, saying
- 1:23:21that's not who you are because you think you look more like
- 1:23:25the, you know, the other sex. What do you?
- 1:23:28Here's my take on it. There's nothing wrong with a
- 1:23:30feminine boy and there's nothing wrong with a masculine woman.
- 1:23:33And we don't need to give the feminine boy hormones.
- 1:23:35We don't need to give the masculine woman.
- 1:23:38Let them be, that's who they are.
- 1:23:40But we don't need to change them.
- 1:23:42Let them be, That's who they are.
- 1:23:44We can't change or enhance and make them any better.
- 1:23:49I believe that people are perfect the way they are.
- 1:23:52We don't need to give. That's the whole thing.
- 1:23:55Stop with the hormones, stop with the surgeries, because the
- 1:24:00only people who are changing people's bodies and stuff are
- 1:24:06these gender clinics. If I were the president of the
- 1:24:09United States, I would close down every gender clinic in the
- 1:24:13United States. It would be against the law to
- 1:24:16give somebody hormones and surgery.
- 1:24:20It's too destructive. I've my my inbox has been filled
- 1:24:24up with regrettable outcomes. 19 times more likely to commit
- 1:24:28suicide. You can go on the Reddit
- 1:24:31subgroup R/D trans. There's 55,000 people on there.
- 1:24:37You talk about regrettable outcome 55,000.
- 1:24:40There are some incredible stories on there, just
- 1:24:42devastating. Yeah.
- 1:24:43And so, yeah, I'm not. I've been doing this a long
- 1:24:47time. And I said I would quit the day
- 1:24:51that they stop harming people. So if you want me to get off the
- 1:24:56air and stop doing this, then stop harming people because they
- 1:24:59keep contacting me because you're destroying their life.
- 1:25:03Do you regret your surgeries? Of course, but by the same
- 1:25:07token, I'm thankful that the Lord came and redeemed my life
- 1:25:12so that I can serve Him and speak into helping other people
- 1:25:16and get people to realize we don't need to give people
- 1:25:21hormones and surgery. You're not changing anybody's
- 1:25:24and I've said that probably 15 times, but it.
- 1:25:27Seems the truth you got to say. It again and again, you know, it
- 1:25:29seems to be I, I go nuts when they talk about this transgender
- 1:25:34person. There's they're not transgender,
- 1:25:37you know, the transgender track runner.
- 1:25:39No, it's a man identifying. If we just properly in our media
- 1:25:45say it's a man identifying as a woman, I'll go with that.
- 1:25:48It's a woman identifying as a man.
- 1:25:50That is accurate. Using the word transgender
- 1:25:54should be completely taken off the map.
- 1:25:58I'm sure there's a lot of people listening right now who are
- 1:26:00very, you know, I hope and courage, but certainly inspired
- 1:26:05by your boldness and speaking the truth in a world that's just
- 1:26:08gone increasingly mad on this issue.
- 1:26:10I do think we're turning a bit of a corner though, culturally
- 1:26:12is enough push back to the to the craziness of the agenda.
- 1:26:16But there's certainly people who have maybe loved ones who are
- 1:26:18struggling with gender dysphoria.
- 1:26:21I want you to particularly give your thoughts on the case of a
- 1:26:24parent or parents who have a child who thinks that they're
- 1:26:28the other gender. Yeah, but they don't have gender
- 1:26:30dysphoria. That's the other word that is
- 1:26:32incorrect. They have dysphoria, but it's
- 1:26:38not about gender. What do you mean?
- 1:26:41Well, dysphoria comes like I didn't have gender dysphoria.
- 1:26:44I was, I had dysphoria about who I was.
- 1:26:47Dysphoria is the opposite of euphoria.
- 1:26:50You don't like who you are. That's not about gender, that's
- 1:26:53just I don't like who I am so. Would you say the proper term is
- 1:26:55identity dysphoria? I would just, I just say it's an
- 1:26:59identity distress. They have dysphoria, but you
- 1:27:03don't know what the dysphoria is about until you actually get in
- 1:27:06and talk to them. And there's, there's a term
- 1:27:09that's been used called generalized dysphoria that's
- 1:27:12written up. You can look it up generalized
- 1:27:14dysphoria, but it's you can you can disconnect from the word
- 1:27:18gender and find there is dysphoria, but you'll find that
- 1:27:23it's not about gender, it's about being sexually abused.
- 1:27:26It's about being physically. You can have dysphoria about
- 1:27:29being physically abused. You can have dysphoria about
- 1:27:32being emotionally abused, but it's not about your gender.
- 1:27:36The only reason that you use the word gender dysphoria is because
- 1:27:41they put it in the DSM in 2013 and they explained the reason
- 1:27:46for putting it in the DSM was so listen to this so people did not
- 1:27:51feel bad about having a disorder.
- 1:27:55That's the only reason it's in there.
- 1:27:58Meaning they gave a generalized, they gave the gender dysphoria
- 1:28:03title on it. So that you didn't feel bad
- 1:28:05because prior to that it was called identity disorder, which
- 1:28:09would be correct? That was actually correct.
- 1:28:13They took the wrong. They took what was good and
- 1:28:16changed it to gender dysphoria. So what you're what you're
- 1:28:20saying is that they made the by making it about gender
- 1:28:23specifically, they're picking a culprit that they didn't have
- 1:28:26any right to pick. I'm saying they went to the
- 1:28:29wrong place to treat them. That's why there's so much, so
- 1:28:32many regrettable outcomes. And so the other thing that
- 1:28:36happens is if you look at the clinics and all the places, the
- 1:28:40only way that is changing, but the only way when it first came
- 1:28:44out that you could get access to getting hormones and having
- 1:28:49surgery was if you were diagnosed with what, gender
- 1:28:53dysphoria? So if you were diagnosed with,
- 1:28:57you know, body dysmorphia, you couldn't get hormones in
- 1:29:01surgery. You absolutely had to be
- 1:29:04diagnosed. It's a forced diagnosis of
- 1:29:07gender dysphoria that I have found.
- 1:29:09I haven't found one person in the thousands of people I've
- 1:29:12worked with that actually had gender dysphoria.
- 1:29:14Really. No, they don't have.
- 1:29:16They don't have DID. Anybody have gender dysphoria?
- 1:29:18The guy that had gender dysphoria explained to you that
- 1:29:21had the EMDR therapy, he was that with his mother chasing
- 1:29:25somebody around the house with a butcher knife.
- 1:29:26Is that gender dysphoria? So does gender dysphoria exist
- 1:29:29at all in your view? No.
- 1:29:31So anybody who thinks they have that, it's something else.
- 1:29:34Is what you're saying. I think gender dysphoria is
- 1:29:36definitely a symptom, and if we look at gender dysphoria as a
- 1:29:41symptom, that should cue us as people who are trying to help
- 1:29:45them look for what the real problem is.
- 1:29:49With someone like a Bruce Jenner, I don't know if you can
- 1:29:51theorize her if you want to, but what would you think is going on
- 1:29:54with someone like him? Yeah, You know, I think Jenner
- 1:30:01actually got started in this and he's such a big advocate, said,
- 1:30:06you know, that I don't think even if he has regret, he
- 1:30:10doesn't see his way out. He boxed himself in and.
- 1:30:16And, you know, he said he was heterosexual, but he's.
- 1:30:20I don't know. You know, I'm not going to try
- 1:30:22to speculate on Jenner. I think it's a sad story.
- 1:30:25What I really like is the stories of people who find their
- 1:30:28way back and who find Jesus Christ like yourself.
- 1:30:32Yeah. And so.
- 1:30:34Do you see a lot of those? I see, I see them.
- 1:30:38I don't know about a lot of them.
- 1:30:39A lot of people find their way back and they find Jesus later.
- 1:30:43I was just real fortunate that the Lord, the Lord actually gave
- 1:30:48me this opportunity to speak out on the issue.
- 1:30:51And I have a great deal of passion about it.
- 1:30:54And at 84, you know, I'm just still, still going and I'm in.
- 1:30:59As long as I have a voice, I'm going to keep trying to save
- 1:31:01people's lives that. Was going to be my next
- 1:31:03question. What's your hope for your
- 1:31:05ministry and for the future? Yeah, well, I have a new book
- 1:31:08coming out is called Embracing God's Design.
- 1:31:11Beautiful Co written that book with Doctor Jennifer Bowens, who
- 1:31:15is a trauma therapist. And so we took what I've
- 1:31:18referred to as the street drunk and the trauma therapist and put
- 1:31:21them together and and put the base of the book is on biblical
- 1:31:25basis and brings the two together and helps will help
- 1:31:29churches and help families kind of resolve the underlying issues
- 1:31:34and find out that it's not gender dysphoria, that it's
- 1:31:37something else. And if we identify what it is,
- 1:31:40then we can treat it. If you keep calling it gender
- 1:31:43dysphoria, you're going to keep giving them hormones in surgery.
- 1:31:46And that's not that's not right, it's not correct.
- 1:31:49It's and that's what you find out afterward is that when they
- 1:31:53have a regrettable outcome, they they tell me I didn't have
- 1:31:56gender dysphoria. Why did they do this to me?
- 1:32:00And I said they did it to you because the only way you could
- 1:32:02get hormones in surgery was be diagnosed with gender dysphoria.
- 1:32:08Because if you have a dissociative disorder or PTSD or
- 1:32:12bipolar one disorder, or obsessive compulsive disorder,
- 1:32:16schizophrenia, if you have any of those disorders, you can't
- 1:32:19get hormones in surgery and change your gender.
- 1:32:22So they have to say you have gender dysphoria.
- 1:32:25Now you may have all those other disorders too, but they're going
- 1:32:28to add that one in so they can give you hormones in surgery.
- 1:32:31So I guess it sounds like your message would be to parents who
- 1:32:34might have a child struggling with this.
- 1:32:35If they have the, you know, a power, they're still the
- 1:32:37guardian of that child to take him to a proper a proper trauma
- 1:32:42or just a proper therapist that they can trust us not going to
- 1:32:44push the city ology on their child.
- 1:32:46If you see a therapist that has a rainbow flag, don't take him
- 1:32:51there. If you see a therapist say
- 1:32:53they're gender affirming, don't take him there.
- 1:32:56Take him to somebody who doesn't believe that you can change your
- 1:33:00gender. Somebody who knows how to
- 1:33:02provide effective sound therapy for what the underlying problem
- 1:33:07is. Somebody who's actually going to
- 1:33:08do a deep dive into their history and find out if this
- 1:33:13obsessive compulsive body dysmorphia, bipolar one
- 1:33:17disorder, schizophrenia, and you'd name it because I do it.
- 1:33:21I'm not a therapist. All I do is ask them simple
- 1:33:24questions and I ask everybody what happened that caused you to
- 1:33:30not like who you are? That's not a difficult question,
- 1:33:34but it gets them to think what happened that caused you to not
- 1:33:37like who you are? And if they're hesitant, I said,
- 1:33:40why do you want to erase who you are and try to become someone
- 1:33:45you can never become? Because I don't understand it.
- 1:33:47I want you to explain it to me. So I make them dig and go back,
- 1:33:52dig deeper to find out what the issues are.
- 1:33:54And they, they began to do it. And once they do, and then
- 1:33:58because I start probing them, you know, were you abused?
- 1:34:01Were you hit, were you abandoned?
- 1:34:04In some, in some cases, the kids moved to a new location and
- 1:34:09felt, you know, they had built up relationships where they
- 1:34:12were. They moved them to a new
- 1:34:14location. They're in a different school.
- 1:34:16The kids are different, the town is different.
- 1:34:18They felt uncomfortable and, and they got dysphoria about being
- 1:34:24where they are. And so they wanted to fit into a
- 1:34:27group and they picked a trans group to get involved with, but
- 1:34:32they were never involved before. So the other component we have
- 1:34:36here is the thing called social contagion.
- 1:34:38And it's not rapid onset gender dysphoria.
- 1:34:41That's a total misnomer. It's rapid onset social
- 1:34:46contagion. And so kids get together.
- 1:34:49We have four or five girls going to Planned Parenthood together
- 1:34:53to get male hormones and they just hand them out like candy.
- 1:34:57I got to share. We haven't released this yet,
- 1:35:00Walt, but we did an investigation of Planned
- 1:35:02Parenthood on that topic. You call them up, you say, I
- 1:35:05think I'm the other gender. They say, come on in, we'll give
- 1:35:09you the prescription in 3rd 10 minutes.
- 1:35:12I mean, it's incredible, right? There's no doctor's assessment,
- 1:35:16psychological evaluation. They will just write you that
- 1:35:20drug prescription. They will give you the hormones.
- 1:35:2310 years ago I did the same thing with Planned Parenthood.
- 1:35:27I called him up and and said, you know, I'm this and that, but
- 1:35:31come on in. They they were doing it 10 years
- 1:35:34ago. Wow.
- 1:35:35They've been doing it forever. They now say it's one of their
- 1:35:37top services. Yeah, once, yeah.
- 1:35:40And so one. Of their most, I should say it's
- 1:35:42one of their fastest growing services.
- 1:35:43Planned Parenthood is destroying more people today, including all
- 1:35:51the other stuff they do. They're a destruction site if
- 1:35:55they can't kill the baby and they're going to destroy their
- 1:35:58life with hormones if the kid comes out of the womb.
- 1:36:03Their job and they feel, I believe, is to try to change
- 1:36:07their gender. They're they're there to destroy
- 1:36:09people. I'm not a fan of Planned
- 1:36:12Parenthood. I would love to see Trump
- 1:36:14completely cut off all their funding.
- 1:36:16Hasn't happened yet, needs to happen.
- 1:36:18It needs to happen and I, I, if I had a chance to tell him, cut
- 1:36:22it off because they're, they're doing, I get more people, adults
- 1:36:27and children going to Planned Parenthood and they just give
- 1:36:30them the hormones. There's no, it's like a window
- 1:36:33you walk up like pay window. Here you go.
- 1:36:35So. The people emailing you are
- 1:36:36getting their hormones from Planned Parenthood.
- 1:36:38Yeah, wow, young young kids too. 18/19/20 or 12 it doesn't
- 1:36:44matter. This is all very incredibly
- 1:36:50important to learn about. Be aware of every, I mean, I
- 1:36:53think virtually everybody at this point is affected by this
- 1:36:55issue and one way or another in this country, one way or
- 1:36:57another. What's a success story you can
- 1:37:01share something that you've seen of all these people emailing
- 1:37:03you, but you shared some earlier, but you know when
- 1:37:06you've done some of this initial work to help them see their the
- 1:37:10truth? Yeah, I think, you know, there's
- 1:37:13a lot of them and, and, and it takes, I think it's important
- 1:37:18also to mention that it sometimes takes one or two years
- 1:37:22after they've contacted me for them to go through the process.
- 1:37:25And many of the people haven't had, you know, top and bottom
- 1:37:30surgery. They've just taken hormones and
- 1:37:32so they can stop the hormones and many of the people have had,
- 1:37:36if they're girls, just had top surgery.
- 1:37:39Most of the women don't have bottom surgery.
- 1:37:41I don't. Very few women ever go through
- 1:37:43the bottom surgery part. The men sadly go through the
- 1:37:47bottom surgery and then have breast implants.
- 1:37:50So they're affected in terms of their ability to foster
- 1:37:56children. Is any of that reversible for
- 1:37:59men? No, no.
- 1:38:01And so girls who take male hormones for an extended period
- 1:38:05of time will be left fertile too.
- 1:38:07I just talked to an endocrinologist on the phone
- 1:38:10yesterday who's sending me a report on this, that they're
- 1:38:13realizing that it's really affecting both male and females,
- 1:38:17the hormone blockers and hormones.
- 1:38:20And and we're trying to do something about it.
- 1:38:22The endocrinologist from up in Sacramento.
- 1:38:26Surprise, surprise. It's so tragic and they're told
- 1:38:30that it doesn't affect their fertility or it's very unlikely
- 1:38:33to. They they're real good about not
- 1:38:36being truthful, yeah. What do you think needs to
- 1:38:40happen, Walt, for us to completely change our culture
- 1:38:44back to sanity on this issue? Yeah, I, you know, laws are one
- 1:38:48thing, but I think getting the truth out and about I, I'm a,
- 1:38:54I'm real strong on changing the language.
- 1:38:58I don't, I don't use gender dysphoria.
- 1:39:01I don't, I, I, I say this thing about you're not a transgender,
- 1:39:06you didn't transition and you don't have gender dysphoria.
- 1:39:09And that's where I want to start because it's something else.
- 1:39:13You know, you've, you've been indoctrinated into thinking that
- 1:39:17that's what it is. But when I work with you, and
- 1:39:20when we find out what the real issue is, we'll find out you
- 1:39:22were sexually abused by your dad.
- 1:39:24You're physically abused by somebody.
- 1:39:28And I've had this happen so many times and I'm, I'm not even, I
- 1:39:33mean, when I first started doing this, my wife would say, well,
- 1:39:36you don't know, you know, you're not sure.
- 1:39:38And I go, OK, and I win this one and I say, OK, mark that one
- 1:39:42down. Well, I'm 100% when I say
- 1:39:44there's something that happened. I have 100%.
- 1:39:48I find out what happened if they allow me the time to do it.
- 1:39:52Do they always end up agreeing with you?
- 1:39:54Yes, that had the impact or sometimes they just.
- 1:39:57Yeah, well, they end up seeing it for themselves.
- 1:40:00I don't. I just said you, you just tell
- 1:40:03me what went on. Let's find out what it was.
- 1:40:05It's like you actually took time to care.
- 1:40:07You know, that's the thing that's so tragic about it.
- 1:40:09You actually took time to ask the questions, to care about
- 1:40:11them, to listen. You're listening.
- 1:40:13Some of it is is kind of silly because if mom will some of the
- 1:40:18ridiculous ones and mom said, you know, my son never had any
- 1:40:21trauma and here he is. He's quote transitioning and I
- 1:40:24don't know, I said well. How old was he this one?
- 1:40:26I think he was in his teens, 14 or 15.
- 1:40:29And I said, what do you mean? He never had any.
- 1:40:31There had to be something that happened.
- 1:40:33I'm convinced there's something happened.
- 1:40:35Either dad left the house, you had a divorce.
- 1:40:38He was put in and came from foster care.
- 1:40:39You tell me something happened. Well, he did have cancer and
- 1:40:43they had to cut his leg off. Oh my gosh.
- 1:40:46And I said OK. Oh my goodness.
- 1:40:48You see what I'm finding this is this is really.
- 1:40:50And she said to you, he has no trauma.
- 1:40:53Parents do not know what trauma is.
- 1:40:58They don't know what trauma is. There's little T trauma and
- 1:41:01there's big T trauma. Trauma is bad stuff.
- 1:41:06And trauma can include a dad being gone to war, coming back
- 1:41:10injured from the war, not being available to work with the
- 1:41:14child. There's there's the list is, you
- 1:41:18know, exhausting. But we need to start
- 1:41:21understanding and start doing what I do.
- 1:41:23This is easy for me. I know there's something
- 1:41:26happened. I don't, I know they're not
- 1:41:28transgender. I know they don't have gender
- 1:41:30dysphoria. I don't buy into any of that
- 1:41:32nonsense. And when I spend the time
- 1:41:36digging, I find it. But if you don't spend the time
- 1:41:40digging, like the therapist who never asked about what happened
- 1:41:43with at 13 and the kids watching his mom try to murder dad,
- 1:41:49that's trauma. But he'd been the therapist,
- 1:41:51never addressed that issue, never even asked.
- 1:41:54They don't care. They don't want to go there.
- 1:41:57They don't want to know. I do.
- 1:42:00I don't charge anybody a dime. I don't even ask him to buy my
- 1:42:04book. I don't put out videos.
- 1:42:08I just help people try to find out what happened that caused
- 1:42:13them to not like who they are so that they never get hormones and
- 1:42:16never have surgery. That's all I want to do.
- 1:42:20And you know what? You can save a life.
- 1:42:25I bet you have. Oh, I know I have.
- 1:42:28I've, I've had, I've been on doing a conference on video and
- 1:42:36the person would come into my ear and say I just had a lady
- 1:42:39call in, was listening to you and she was getting ready to
- 1:42:43commit suicide until she heard you.
- 1:42:47And she, you gave her hope and she decided not to commit
- 1:42:53suicide and she's staying and listening.
- 1:42:55I was on for four hours. Wow.
- 1:43:01Yeah. When you look back on all of the
- 1:43:04work you've done, what are you most proud of?
- 1:43:11Probably I'm most proud of my my current wife hanging in with me
- 1:43:14for 28 years. She's lovely, by the way.
- 1:43:17I got to meet. Her earlier.
- 1:43:19You know, I, I don't have anything that I'm, I'm proud of
- 1:43:24because there's so much more work to do.
- 1:43:28I mean, we've only started and I've been doing this for nearly
- 1:43:3320 years. I've had my website for over 17
- 1:43:35years and we're not doing enough to help people.
- 1:43:40I want to do more. I want to sit with Donald Trump
- 1:43:43in his office and say, Donald, listen to me, come on, you want
- 1:43:47some truth, Let's get at it. I want to look him in the eye
- 1:43:51and tell him what he needs to do because I don't think he knows.
- 1:43:54What does he need to do? He needs to start shutting down
- 1:43:56Planned Parenthood. He needs to start closing the
- 1:43:59clinics. He needs to do a lot more
- 1:44:02advocating for stopping this. I mean, he's he's touching
- 1:44:06around the sports issue, which is all these things are good,
- 1:44:09but you got to cut the head off the snake.
- 1:44:12And they they should not be allowed.
- 1:44:14This should be considered socially destructive to society
- 1:44:22because it is. Why is Why are we allowing
- 1:44:25clinics to mutilate children? And I would say, why are we,
- 1:44:31like you were saying it's child abuse, the parents stuff.
- 1:44:33Yeah, I mean, I remember my husband and I were living in the
- 1:44:36East Bay, the Bay Area, you know, not far from where you
- 1:44:39were living earlier. And I would go to the farmers
- 1:44:42market and I saw, you know, woman, you know, questionable.
- 1:44:47I don't know if she's Butch, what she's, you know,
- 1:44:49identifying as lesbian. I don't know.
- 1:44:50It's hard to know, right? But, you know, the alternative,
- 1:44:52right? Doesn't have to be necessarily a
- 1:44:54bad thing, but, you know, some things might be.
- 1:44:56Might be interesting there little boy again.
- 1:45:00Sparkle sparkle everywhere. We don't even dress girls like
- 1:45:03this. Like over the top sparkle nail
- 1:45:05Polish, sparkle shoes 22 crazy hair of some of the hairs dyed
- 1:45:10blue like the child. Looked like an experiment and
- 1:45:14the child was looking listless and unhappy, not like a happy
- 1:45:17kid, the mom or the woman. The person was checked out on
- 1:45:20the phone like, and I just thought, what hell am I looking
- 1:45:24at? How are we allowing this?
- 1:45:25And maybe you want to call the cops in the middle of this
- 1:45:27farmers market to rescue this child who is and but it's like,
- 1:45:31what can you what, what can we do right?
- 1:45:33These these children are at risk.
- 1:45:37Yeah, absolutely. And and it needs to stop.
- 1:45:39I mean, I remember watching ABC show many, many years ago and a
- 1:45:44mom, they were filming her because she had a kid that she
- 1:45:47was sending to school as a girl boy.
- 1:45:49And mom is combing the the boy's hair and she's talking to the
- 1:45:54interviewer. And in a in a crushing moment
- 1:45:59that should have captured everybody's imagination, only
- 1:46:01apparently captured mine. The kid turned to mom and said
- 1:46:05would you love me if I was a boy?
- 1:46:10Mom's dressing them like a girl and send them to school and the
- 1:46:14kids saying Would you love me if I'm a boy?
- 1:46:16What? Did she say?
- 1:46:18She she froze. She had nothing to say.
- 1:46:21Oh, Oh. She went away from it.
- 1:46:24No answer. It's dark.
- 1:46:28So, you know, any parent in my view who does this needs to go
- 1:46:35to therapy. Oh yeah.
- 1:46:37And, and, and sorry to say, in some cases they probably
- 1:46:41shouldn't have full custody of the child.
- 1:46:44That's harsh it. Is tough.
- 1:46:47But you know, again, I I lived it, it's child abuse.
- 1:46:52We're not calling it what it is. When I see a mom cross dressing
- 1:46:56a boy saying I have a trans kid, child abuse should ring a big
- 1:47:00bell, should stop. It's nonsense.
- 1:47:03Mom's sick. Something's happening.
- 1:47:05And I know in some cases, you know, I've, I've worked with
- 1:47:09divorces where mom is actually using the child's, you know,
- 1:47:13gender identity to keep the the father who doesn't like the idea
- 1:47:18because he won't call them by the correct pronouns.
- 1:47:22Of course, the the only correct pronoun, and I want you to hear
- 1:47:25it first on your podcast. This is it.
- 1:47:28The correct pronoun is wacko. That's your pronoun for the day.
- 1:47:33And so because the father won't use the correct pronouns, mom's
- 1:47:38going to not allow him to have custody of the child.
- 1:47:42Insane. Right.
- 1:47:43So these are the things, these are gamesmanship.
- 1:47:46And so I've sat down with kids who the mom says, you know, is
- 1:47:52trans. And I've worked with the dad and
- 1:47:54sat with them and they're not. I, I, I can't have to say this.
- 1:47:58I've noticed, Walt, that there have been so many, I see a
- 1:48:03preponderance of women doing this to their children, and it's
- 1:48:06often women to sons turning them into girls.
- 1:48:09I don't as much see men doing this to their children and I
- 1:48:12don't see it as much men doing it to, you know, a focus as much
- 1:48:16on the turning the girl into a boy.
- 1:48:18Have you noticed that? Do you notice that in the
- 1:48:20thousands of correspondences you get, it's like a particular
- 1:48:23sickness that these women are transing their sons?
- 1:48:27Yeah, and you get to dig into what what's going on in in their
- 1:48:30life too, because there's something wrong.
- 1:48:31It's dark. It's dark.
- 1:48:33It's bad. It's like they're trying to get,
- 1:48:35I mean, there's that what is that that condition that parents
- 1:48:38can have where they over medicalize the kids and it
- 1:48:40brings them a sense of. Identity Munchausen's.
- 1:48:42Munchausen's syndrome, right? It's a syndrome.
- 1:48:45It's that, but for. Yeah, for this.
- 1:48:48But I I do think some men are transitioning their kids, but
- 1:48:51they're the gay men. It's like the men that I saw a
- 1:48:55decade and a half ago in the restaurant with the little boy
- 1:48:58dressed as a girl, 2 gay men, one cross dressing as a woman.
- 1:49:03Because this is their world, right?
- 1:49:05This whole rainbow world, right? So yeah, I just wish we had more
- 1:49:15people on board and stop using the language.
- 1:49:17I would love for the people in media to not ever use the word
- 1:49:20transgender. Is there another shorthand word
- 1:49:23we can use instead? A man identifying as a woman or
- 1:49:28or. Just man if it's a man cross.
- 1:49:30Dressing, yeah. I mean, it's a man cross.
- 1:49:31Dressing man, Cross dressing woman.
- 1:49:33Cross dressing man, cross dressing woman.
- 1:49:36You know, we don't need to. We don't need to give praise to
- 1:49:40the idea that they changed, because they didn't.
- 1:49:45Yeah. I can't be a part of that lie.
- 1:49:49I'm incredibly grateful for your work.
- 1:49:51You're you're on it book 8 now and and it's just incredible to
- 1:49:56me that people can reach out to you and you respond.
- 1:49:58That's so amazing that you're serving all these people.

- 1:50:30Am I Written off My poem, the title of the movie from the
- 1:50:33poem. We've been working on a script.
- 1:50:36I've got 1 script written and and it's out, but we're going to
- 1:50:40probably do some more scripts and try to get that movie out,
- 1:50:44which is about an $8 million project.
- 1:50:47Amazing. And so right now we've got about
- 1:50:51$3500. OK.
- 1:50:54So can we can we link? Is it a GoFundMe?
- 1:50:57How do people support that as a crowdfunding?
- 1:50:59Yeah, we're doing crowdfunding, OK.
- 1:51:01And so. Put in the link you can support
- 1:51:04what's amazing Mark. Who am I?
- 1:51:07The movie whoami.com. Amazing.
- 1:51:10So we have a lot of things going.
- 1:51:12We're trying to catch them from every angle.
- 1:51:14But I think if I can sit down with Donald Trump in the White
- 1:51:18House, I can do a whole lot more in one day than I have in the
- 1:51:22last 17 years. You've done a lot in the last 17
- 1:51:25years. Don't under don't undersell
- 1:51:27that. Thank you, Walt, seriously, It's
- 1:51:30a it's a, it's a pleasure and honor to talk to you truly.
- 1:51:33Thank you for your courage. Thank you for your willingness

- 1:51:40already. And I know it's like you said,
- 1:51:41you're just getting started. Yeah, well, it's all because of
- 1:51:44the Lord. Jesus Christ came to redeem my
- 1:51:46life. Not because I'm good, it's
- 1:51:49because God is good. Amen.
