- 1:43Speaker 1: haven't got to turn them out? Then turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come come on your baby now. Uh huh.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I share will a good morning everybody. You' are listening
- 2:06Speaker 1: to the voice Come on dig me now, one and
- 2:08Speaker 1: all is Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, today
- 2:13Speaker 1: is simple. I want to tell you. I want to
- 2:18Speaker 1: just talk to you about effort today. Just about effort.
- 2:25Speaker 1: You know, it's it's it's it's a word that people
- 2:28Speaker 1: use to describe sometimes trying. But what I found out
- 2:34Speaker 1: about trying is trying is just a noble way of
- 2:37Speaker 1: saying you didn't get it done. I tried when and
- 2:43Speaker 1: then everybody go, well, he tried, that was the best.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Well that's that's not exactly true though, that that's that's
- 2:51Speaker 1: not exactly true. You are and I want to talk
- 2:54Speaker 1: to you about that because I don't want you to
- 2:57Speaker 1: be one of the people who just tried. See trying,
- 3:03Speaker 1: I mean, I gotta tell you to attempt something. You're
- 3:06Speaker 1: gonna have to first try, but I want you to
- 3:09Speaker 1: change your mindset from trying to getting it done. See,
- 3:15Speaker 1: that's a big difference. I'm really more apt to listen
- 3:19Speaker 1: to the person that says to me, I'm gonna get
- 3:21Speaker 1: it done. I'm gonna try. What try does is it
- 3:25Speaker 1: allows you to fail. It's the person that has the
- 3:28Speaker 1: mindset that I'm gonna get it done. Is the person
- 3:31Speaker 1: who changes the complexion of things. I'm gonna get it done.
- 3:36Speaker 1: It's very different than I'm gonna try. You know. Look, man,
- 3:40Speaker 1: I know, I know this sounds a little harsh, but
- 3:43Speaker 1: you gotta stop feeding yourself these little old wise sayings
- 3:47Speaker 1: that ain't it was a valiant tribe. Hey man, you
- 3:51Speaker 1: talk to anybody that took second place in the super
- 3:55Speaker 1: Bowl and see how they feel about their valiant try.
- 3:58Speaker 1: The only way to gain God's real blessings is you
- 4:05Speaker 1: have to try something. Steve your backpedaling, now, listen to
- 4:10Speaker 1: me close. You have to put forth an effort to
- 4:18Speaker 1: allow God to put his finger on something to bless
- 4:23Speaker 1: on your behalf. You must start to attempt now, insane
- 4:30Speaker 1: getting it done and I'm gonna try. That's a difference
- 4:33Speaker 1: of two different faiths to me that I'm just talking
- 4:37Speaker 1: about me. Now, you may be different, so I can't.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I can't say this about you, but I can't say
- 4:42Speaker 1: this about me. If I say I'm gonna get it done,
- 4:47Speaker 1: I have a lot of faith in it. I am
- 4:52Speaker 1: going to get it done because I just don't see
- 4:55Speaker 1: failure as an option. A lot of times now, if
- 4:58Speaker 1: somebody says to me, like the Olympic team invited me
- 5:02Speaker 1: out to curl one day, which is throw these stones
- 5:05Speaker 1: on the ice. If you're not familiar with it's very simple,
- 5:09Speaker 1: and so I said, man, I'd like to give that
- 5:13Speaker 1: a try. I went in full well knowing I may
- 5:19Speaker 1: not come away from this little curling lesson as a
- 5:24Speaker 1: person who could make the Olympic team. I just wanted
- 5:27Speaker 1: to try it because I thought it looked cool and
- 5:29Speaker 1: I always wanted to get it done. Well. I failed twice.
- 5:33Speaker 1: I threw a stone completely into the other lane. I
- 5:37Speaker 1: lost that little ice shoe. It shot out under me.
- 5:41Speaker 1: But you know what, I kept trying though. I kept
- 5:45Speaker 1: trying until I got four of them stones in that
- 5:48Speaker 1: circle right where I ain't. But now had I give
- 5:52Speaker 1: it up after I failed, after I threw that stone
- 5:56Speaker 1: in the other lane, after I shot my shoe down
- 5:59Speaker 1: all the way to the bottom side, the little ice
- 6:01Speaker 1: shoe they give you, I never would did it. But
- 6:04Speaker 1: because I was trying, something got me together a little
- 6:09Speaker 1: bit because of my effort, and it caused me not
- 6:11Speaker 1: to fall the next time, not to throw it in
- 6:14Speaker 1: the other lane, not to shoot my shoe to the
- 6:16Speaker 1: back of the wall. All of a sudden, my trying
- 6:20Speaker 1: became something. Now had I stayed out there and it
- 6:24Speaker 1: wasn't so cold, and I went back week after week
- 6:27Speaker 1: after week after week, I promise you I could get
- 6:32Speaker 1: it done. I could at least know how to compete
- 6:36Speaker 1: in a game of curling. Might not be the best.
- 6:39Speaker 1: I might not win the championship, but I could have
- 6:42Speaker 1: got it done to the point where I could have
- 6:44Speaker 1: competed in the game of curling. So sometimes if you're
- 6:47Speaker 1: scared to say I'm gonna get it done, just go
- 6:50Speaker 1: out there and get started. You know, learn from every
- 6:54Speaker 1: attempt that you make. See, don't quit writing yourself off
- 6:58Speaker 1: as a failure every time something don't go right. And
- 7:01Speaker 1: when I failed on that ice. I could have said, Man,
- 7:03Speaker 1: I can't curl, but hold up, man, I'm watching four
- 7:06Speaker 1: other women out here curl, four other dudes out here curling,
- 7:09Speaker 1: little kids out here curling. Hold up, Pardner, You know, man,
- 7:12Speaker 1: So I learned when I threw that stone on the
- 7:15Speaker 1: other ice, when I when I fail, when when my
- 7:18Speaker 1: shoe shot off, I learned from every attempt a little
- 7:22Speaker 1: bit more about it. And then I said to myself
- 7:27Speaker 1: at one point time, man, I'm gonna get this stone
- 7:29Speaker 1: in that circle. I'm gonna get this stone in this circle.
- 7:34Speaker 1: And guess what I got it done. Now what you're
- 7:38Speaker 1: saying to me, Steve, I'm saying to you that you
- 7:40Speaker 1: gotta get started, That you gotta put forth an effort.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Give God something to bless. Oh God, bless me, Oh God,
- 7:47Speaker 1: bless me. Bless you? What? Bless you? Where? Bless you? How?
- 7:53Speaker 1: Stop basing your results on what you're thinking. You gotta
- 7:56Speaker 1: think higher. You get God in your life, man, He
- 7:59Speaker 1: allows you to think higher, bigger, better more. I'm sitting
- 8:04Speaker 1: up in my debt. I came up with a plan
- 8:06Speaker 1: to get out of debt in five years. I came
- 8:08Speaker 1: up with this plan right I was sitting up and
- 8:11Speaker 1: I was tripping on it. Now, I said, wait a minute, man,
- 8:13Speaker 1: hold up, this is what I came up with. I said,
- 8:17Speaker 1: God created heaven and earth, all of it, the mountains,
- 8:24Speaker 1: the sky, the valleys, the oceans, trees, the birds, the
- 8:29Speaker 1: Indian Ocean, all of it, made all of it in
- 8:32Speaker 1: six days, and then he rested on the seventh. So
- 8:38Speaker 1: why am I taking to God the five year plan?
- 8:43Speaker 1: If he can create heaven and Earth in six days,
- 8:47Speaker 1: why am I walking in there talking about helped me
- 8:50Speaker 1: in five years? How is it gonna take God five
- 8:54Speaker 1: years to getting me out of debt? And he made
- 8:58Speaker 1: heaven and Earth in six days. You're the math hill man.
- 9:01Speaker 1: I ain't that big. You ain't that big. You ain't
- 9:05Speaker 1: in that much trouble. I ain't in that much trouble. See,
- 9:09Speaker 1: God got a way of showing you some things, man,
- 9:11Speaker 1: but it's gonna take some faith, and faith gonna take
- 9:14Speaker 1: some effort on your part. Man, Get out and do something. Man,
- 9:18Speaker 1: you God to bless you a little bit and give
- 9:20Speaker 1: you a little bit more courage. And then all them
- 9:22Speaker 1: attempts you making is gonna and all this so I'll
- 9:25Speaker 1: try you know what that turn into. I'm gonna get
- 9:27Speaker 1: it done. And at the end of the day, that's
- 9:29Speaker 1: what you have to do, because trying to pay your
- 9:32Speaker 1: rent and not paying your rent, it's two different things.
- 9:35Speaker 1: You can try to play or pay your rent, or
- 9:38Speaker 1: you can get it done. Now, how long you think
- 9:40Speaker 1: you're gonna stay in that house trying? You got to
- 9:43Speaker 1: go with the mindset of getting it done. And if
- 9:45Speaker 1: you can put some stuff out there and give God
- 9:48Speaker 1: a chance to put his finger on it and bless
- 9:49Speaker 1: it for you, the most stuff he can do for you.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Quit looking around what everybody else has gotten. Gonna get
- 9:54Speaker 1: some of it for yourself. Okay, all right, you're listening
- 9:57Speaker 1: to show, ladies and gentlemen, let me have it your
- 10:03Speaker 1: undivided attention. Please. This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show,

- 12:12Speaker 1: don't let Wonder Love answer none of these questions, because
- 12:15Speaker 1: see that's the non feel to the answer, and I
- 12:17Speaker 1: feel to that. That's why I'm telling y'all he can't

- 13:03Speaker 1: that I propose to you all, Could I be putting
- 13:07Speaker 1: something at risk that's so great a value than the

- 13:17Speaker 1: Can I say this, Augustine, Yes, sir, yes, you every
- 13:20Speaker 1: man and I have brought up and mumbling all right?
- 13:28Speaker 1: Coming up next more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening to the show. Steve. You
- 13:36Speaker 1: are the relationship expert on the show, and I have
- 13:40Speaker 1: a list of things that what women really want and
- 13:43Speaker 1: what we want from our men. Okay, superman. Women love
- 13:48Speaker 1: to be protected. Women of course like men who smell good.
- 13:52Speaker 1: We like men who surprise us galore. We love surprises.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Women love surprises. We don't care if it's chocolates, if
- 14:00Speaker 1: it's love notes, if it's gifts or even bouquets of flowers.
- 14:03Speaker 1: We love flowers. We love everything. Transparency, that's what we
- 14:08Speaker 1: love from our men. We love honesty. All your liars
- 14:11Speaker 1: out there, that's still the best policy. Never lie. We
- 14:15Speaker 1: like when you dress well, when you look nice. We
- 14:17Speaker 1: like when you're okay. We like when you dress well.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Nothing turns off a woman. Uh, let me tell you
- 14:22Speaker 1: the top three things that women won't Okay, security absolutely,
- 14:27Speaker 1: women won't. A future, Yeah, women won't. Loyalty. If you
- 14:31Speaker 1: give a woman some security, provide her with a good
- 14:35Speaker 1: look at a great future, and you give her your loyalty,
- 14:40Speaker 1: she rideed that for you. Less security, future and loy
- 14:43Speaker 1: and flowers and chocolates. Don't leave that love, gifts and transparency.
- 14:50Speaker 1: We don't want you to lie to us. Where was
- 14:52Speaker 1: that is? If you're loyal, loyal to cover hu, but
- 14:59Speaker 1: in your the loyalty is honesty. Loyalty is honesty and
- 15:09Speaker 1: they want they want honesty. Actually gonna be like honest,
- 15:18Speaker 1: everybody's gonna be all over. You can't be all You
- 15:22Speaker 1: can't tell everything. Okay, I agree with that, you can't
- 15:25Speaker 1: tell everything. But we're saying, don't lie. That's what we're saying.
- 15:29Speaker 1: We don't want you to lie to us. Sometimes we
- 15:31Speaker 1: have excuse me, Sometimes we happen. What why would you
- 15:35Speaker 1: have to detect you from the truth. We don't heed
- 15:39Speaker 1: protecting from the truth. We want the truth. No, that
- 15:43Speaker 1: is not true. That is not why I'm late. Sometimes
- 15:48Speaker 1: will require a lie. No, you're protecting yourself. Were protecting
- 15:53Speaker 1: down that procla lie that my car broke? No, no,
- 16:00Speaker 1: what was her name? No, the time it can do that.
- 16:03Speaker 1: I can't go home till my wife who But here's
- 16:05Speaker 1: the deal. I'm home, so I ain't got now. Back
- 16:08Speaker 1: in the day, you were the best at it. The
- 16:12Speaker 1: lie is for a protection of me. Yeah, it's protection
- 16:15Speaker 1: of you, not of the woman's protection of you too. No,
- 16:19Speaker 1: it's not. It's not protecting me nor your feeling. No, no, no, no,
- 16:26Speaker 1: from the truth. You don't know. We need to hear
- 16:29Speaker 1: the truth. We can handle you can't handle our reaction
- 16:33Speaker 1: to the truth exactly there. That's why there. So the
- 16:38Speaker 1: lie is for you, not for for you, because I
- 16:41Speaker 1: don't want you to have to go off. No, it's okay,
- 16:44Speaker 1: it's gonna no, no, I won't oh yeah, will no
- 16:48Speaker 1: if I don't go off that message, right, that is
- 16:50Speaker 1: a lie when they tell you tell me the truth,
- 16:52Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be upset. That's not that's okay that
- 16:58Speaker 1: I want to look like the bad guy. We have
- 17:00Speaker 1: to say that. Yeah, and we have to Yeah, we
- 17:02Speaker 1: have to lie to you guys so we can get
- 17:04Speaker 1: the truth out of me. And then we know that
- 17:09Speaker 1: we like lots of gifts, flowers, you know what about
- 17:12Speaker 1: those things? Do? Yeah? We love all in the yard.
- 17:19Speaker 1: She's seated when she pulled in, and you cheap Carla,
- 17:28Speaker 1: She would go with the words, so cham thing, Jay,
- 17:34Speaker 1: what do you have to say? Three times they didn't
- 17:37Speaker 1: work out, I'm done, I'm up. Well did you do
- 17:39Speaker 1: any of these things and I still ended up in court? Now?
- 17:43Speaker 1: What yell? She got a lot of stuff on that list.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Did you give her chocolate? Love notes? Yes, give me
- 17:55Speaker 1: an example of one of your love notes? Get court?
- 18:01Speaker 1: So right, then, what about honesty? Were you honest, very honest.
- 18:08Speaker 1: That one. Where were you last? Where were you last night?
- 18:15Speaker 1: While you come in so lately? Yeah, I don't like that.
- 18:18Speaker 1: I don't like questions. No, I don't like we were
- 18:21Speaker 1: you in your relationship? You have to answer to people.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Fool's head. I don't like questions. I don't like them either, Jay,
- 18:30Speaker 1: Most men don't like questions. They will not. Where you going? Honey?
- 18:34Speaker 1: You look all nice? You know you got all dressed up.
- 18:37Speaker 1: You're smelling good. Where you going? It's nine o'clock? You
- 18:41Speaker 1: know they eat late in Europe. Oh, you're going to
- 18:44Speaker 1: where we live in New York and people are meeting
- 18:46Speaker 1: with it from bad? Where are you meeting? Perhaps I
- 18:52Speaker 1: can join you? It will only take me a few
- 18:54Speaker 1: minutes to get ready. No, we've meete that a club?
- 18:56Speaker 1: Oh I love clubs. Oh which one the new one? No?
- 18:59Speaker 1: It's old when Oh it's just a men's club. No
- 19:02Speaker 1: women allowed. There will be no women in the club.
- 19:06Speaker 1: What well? I know how you are. You don't like
- 19:10Speaker 1: men serving you, So I'm surprised you're going to this
- 19:13Speaker 1: club at all. Well, they got a shift. They just
- 19:15Speaker 1: stick the stuff out to one man. Now, can I
- 19:20Speaker 1: ask you a question? Can you tell can you say
- 19:24Speaker 1: this at home? What you just said? I'm going to
- 19:26Speaker 1: meet nine o'clock at night? We're just men at a club,
- 19:30Speaker 1: but they stick the food at the wind. Yeah I
- 19:32Speaker 1: could say that, but the club? She did. Know what's
- 19:34Speaker 1: different if I say the club, because you know I
- 19:36Speaker 1: don't go. Yeah, but I could. I could say I'm
- 19:38Speaker 1: going to a late week Yeah I could, so I
- 19:40Speaker 1: got them lives right there after ten o'clock. I could
- 19:44Speaker 1: say that. What kind of would you say? But I'm
- 19:47Speaker 1: in a different place in my life now, Yes, you
- 19:50Speaker 1: settle down. Yeah, I'm going to meeting at nine o'clock
- 19:53Speaker 1: because that's the day. Oh that's a rock chicken on
- 19:56Speaker 1: your on your head, across your forehead. Rocks. Well you
- 20:01Speaker 1: don't cook? Where are you getting? I know he's been
- 20:07Speaker 1: hit with one, but it would never have been for me.
- 20:09Speaker 1: You're right. He was lying straight bony and chicken. You're right,
- 20:17Speaker 1: Jay though, And the fact that hang off got the
- 20:20Speaker 1: little tail kind of went in my mouth. So I
- 20:28Speaker 1: got take slapped out of my mouth with the potential
- 20:31Speaker 1: Simon Ellapo, who was he gonna sue? Who? Through the chicken?
- 20:39Speaker 1: All right, we gotta go. We'll be back. You're listening
- 20:44Speaker 1: Morning show right now. Stephen and Jay and and Tommy
- 20:48Speaker 1: and Junior. Jay explains, well, she Shelly call me up.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Steven said she saw us a little boy. Tell it
- 20:55Speaker 1: because you saw it, Okay, I actually did see this. Yeah.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Next and I were having breakfast one morning outside and
- 21:02Speaker 1: we see this little kid, this little white kid, roll
- 21:04Speaker 1: up on the skateboard and turn around and he was
- 21:07Speaker 1: talking to his dad. And he turned around and he
- 21:09Speaker 1: was like, you're lying, dad, You're a liar. Stop lying, dad,
- 21:14Speaker 1: you're lying. And he's still a lie. It is still alive.
- 21:18Speaker 1: And then the dad was like, son, no, I'm not
- 21:22Speaker 1: lying to you. The dad Dad was arguing that I
- 21:27Speaker 1: were looking at each other like Daddy would have split
- 21:29Speaker 1: the back of my hand. That's when we were staying
- 21:34Speaker 1: there is no We couldn't even say the word lie.
- 21:37Speaker 1: We could even we had to say telling a story.
- 21:39Speaker 1: And the grown person was never lying, never even if
- 21:42Speaker 1: they were lying, yeah, even if yeah. So what you
- 21:47Speaker 1: got now, Oh, we got a list of things that
- 21:49Speaker 1: white kids can say, but you definitely cannot say it
- 21:54Speaker 1: as a black child. Right Like, for instance, I'm going
- 21:58Speaker 1: to my room and please do not disturb me. Tell

- 49:38Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter. Thank you Nephew. Subject. Twenty years later,
- 49:43Speaker 1: he still wants MGP. Well, Dear Steve and Shirley. I'm
- 49:49Speaker 1: a forty six year old single lady, and I am
- 49:51Speaker 1: ready for the next chapter in my life. In nineteen
- 49:54Speaker 1: ninety nine, I dated a man off and on for
- 49:56Speaker 1: a while, but finally ended things with him when I
- 50:00Speaker 1: out he got another woman pregnant. I moved on with
- 50:03Speaker 1: my life and moved to another state. Well. In twenty eighteen,
- 50:07Speaker 1: he and I reconnected on social media. Since we live
- 50:11Speaker 1: far apart, we texted and called each other daily. He
- 50:15Speaker 1: told me he was coming to town and wanted to
- 50:17Speaker 1: see me. I told him to come by the house
- 50:19Speaker 1: since we were old friends and hadn't seen each other
- 50:21Speaker 1: in many years. He came over and we had a
- 50:24Speaker 1: great time catching up in person. He later told me
- 50:28Speaker 1: that he was not just visiting. He had moved back
- 50:30Speaker 1: to town and he wanted to see me more. I
- 50:33Speaker 1: had no idea that he'd be interested in me now,
- 50:36Speaker 1: because I've been paralyzed since two thousand and four, but
- 50:40Speaker 1: that didn't matter to him. He asked me quiet, Steve.
- 50:44Speaker 1: He asked me, if I could still do it, would
- 50:48Speaker 1: you would just let me finish? Please? He asked me
- 50:51Speaker 1: if I could still do it? Yeah, yeah, And your
- 50:55Speaker 1: name is mentioned at the bottom as well. He asked
- 50:57Speaker 1: me if I could yeah, yeah, yes. He asked her
- 51:02Speaker 1: if I could still do it like I used to
- 51:05Speaker 1: do it. I teased him and asked, do you know
- 51:09Speaker 1: what it is? I teased him and asked, wouldn't you
- 51:14Speaker 1: like to know? So? About a month ago, I showed
- 51:18Speaker 1: him that I could still put it on him. You see,
- 51:22Speaker 1: back in the day he called me miss good P
- 51:25Speaker 1: or MGP for short, and he said, I still hold
- 51:30Speaker 1: that title to this day. I have feelings for him,
- 51:34Speaker 1: but everything is moving so fast. We are moving in
- 51:37Speaker 1: together soon, and I want to be sure I'm doing
- 51:39Speaker 1: things the right way. We dated over twenty years ago,
- 51:43Speaker 1: and I already gave him a sample of MGP. So
- 51:46Speaker 1: should I put put the ninety day rule on him
- 51:48Speaker 1: when we move in together. I don't want to get married.
- 51:52Speaker 1: I do want to get married, so I'm trying to
- 51:53Speaker 1: do things right. What do you think, Steve, she put
- 51:57Speaker 1: your letter in. Okay, so you have permission, all right?
- 52:05Speaker 1: All right? Come on, Now, you dated this guy back
- 52:08Speaker 1: in nineteen ninety nine. You off and on. It wasn't
- 52:12Speaker 1: even a regular real relationship, really, it was off and on,
- 52:16Speaker 1: and then you finally ended things when you found out
- 52:19Speaker 1: he got another woman pregnant. All right, Then this same
- 52:22Speaker 1: guy twenty years later comes into your life and you're
- 52:25Speaker 1: ready to move in with him. Why are you going
- 52:29Speaker 1: to move in with this man? I mean, why you
- 52:32Speaker 1: gotta explain this. Nothing in this letter says you need
- 52:36Speaker 1: to do that. Okay, he lied to you about so
- 52:39Speaker 1: many things, and uh, you know he actually lives in
- 52:43Speaker 1: your town. Now, first he said he was just visiting.
- 52:47Speaker 1: Is this really the case? Or was he hoping to
- 52:50Speaker 1: move in with you all the time. I just you know,
- 52:53Speaker 1: I'm going to ask you don't get played by this man.
- 52:56Speaker 1: He's probably telling you anything to get in your house. Remember,
- 53:00Speaker 1: now it's been twenty years since you've seen him. Now
- 53:03Speaker 1: you close your letter by saying you're trying to do
- 53:06Speaker 1: things right. Nothing about this is right because you've already
- 53:10Speaker 1: slept with him, and you want to impose the ninety
- 53:14Speaker 1: day rule on him. That is so backwards, Steve. Please,
- 53:19Speaker 1: we're all okay. I don't know how you strip around
- 53:22Speaker 1: all this other information saying I don't know what part
- 53:26Speaker 1: you read, but I'm going right to where I'm stuck.
- 53:29Speaker 1: Forty six year old single lady, ready to move on
- 53:33Speaker 1: day to the man, off and on in nineteen ninety nine,
- 53:36Speaker 1: but off and on, but found out he got another
- 53:38Speaker 1: woman pregnant. When you moved on with your life, he
- 53:41Speaker 1: moved to another state. Well two eighteen, y'all reconnected on
- 53:45Speaker 1: social media. Since we live far apart, we text and
- 53:48Speaker 1: called each other daily. He told me he was coming
- 53:51Speaker 1: to town and won't to see me. I told him,
- 53:53Speaker 1: come on by the house, or what else are you
- 53:55Speaker 1: gonna do? I mean, I'm through, Okay, Okay, so he
- 54:01Speaker 1: comes by to Hell, Okay, see, okay, permission, but don't
- 54:05Speaker 1: go crazy. Okay, I'm trying to shoot you. Old friends
- 54:15Speaker 1: and they ain't seen each other many years. He came
- 54:18Speaker 1: over and we had a great time catching up in person.
- 54:21Speaker 1: He later told me he wasn't just visited. He had
- 54:23Speaker 1: moved back to town. Oh that convenient, uh huh got
- 54:27Speaker 1: over there and found out you staying by yourself. Now,
- 54:31Speaker 1: he ain't moved back, he ain't visited. He to move back,
- 54:36Speaker 1: and he wanted to see you more. Now, the lady said,
- 54:39Speaker 1: I had no idea he'd be interested in me now
- 54:42Speaker 1: because I've been paralyzed since two thousand and four, so
- 54:47Speaker 1: fourteen years you've been paralyzed. Before I go in it further,
- 54:53Speaker 1: is that something I need to know about paralyzation before
- 54:57Speaker 1: I assume that means paralyzed came moved that all I'm asking, surety, Well,
- 55:03Speaker 1: I mean it depends on you know what kind of
- 55:07Speaker 1: that could be, A like a portion of it? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 55:10Speaker 1: And there's nothing wrong. This is not a good This
- 55:12Speaker 1: is just about this lady in this leadder, so please
- 55:14Speaker 1: don't nobody. But she wrote me and put in the ladder. Now,
- 55:17Speaker 1: you didn't have to put that in the ladder, but
- 55:19Speaker 1: you felt it was important. So now, Shirley didn't dance
- 55:22Speaker 1: round this hill, but you didn't. I just know you.
- 55:29Speaker 1: You didn't mention it paralyzed since still for fourteen years.
- 55:35Speaker 1: But that didn't matter to him. He asked me if
- 55:38Speaker 1: I could still do it like I used to do it? Well,
- 55:40Speaker 1: way you get that question for him? Now, I don't
- 55:43Speaker 1: know what she was doing that got you this title
- 55:45Speaker 1: that he gave you fourteen years ago, but how he's
- 55:48Speaker 1: still asking that question. So now we're gonna have to
- 55:54Speaker 1: get into it when we come back. We feel to
- 55:56Speaker 1: come back and find out why he called her miss
- 55:59Speaker 1: good Peace or We have part two response coming up
- 56:07Speaker 1: at twenty three after the hours you're listening to show.
- 56:12Speaker 1: All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 56:15Speaker 1: The subject is twenty years later, he still wants MGP. Yeah,
- 56:20Speaker 1: he still want MP. Let's just go and get to
- 56:22Speaker 1: this letter right quick. What did happened is y'all got
- 56:25Speaker 1: back together social media. He says he still wanted you,
- 56:29Speaker 1: and that surprised you that he'd be interested in you
- 56:32Speaker 1: because you've been paralyzed since two thousand and four. But
- 56:35Speaker 1: that didn't matter to him. He asked me if I
- 56:38Speaker 1: could still do it like I used to do. I
- 56:41Speaker 1: teased him and ask, wouldn't you like to know? So
- 56:45Speaker 1: about a month ago I showed him that I could
- 56:48Speaker 1: still put it on him. You see, back in the
- 56:50Speaker 1: day he called me miss good P or MGP MG
- 56:56Speaker 1: is where we need. It's either miss good or most
- 57:01Speaker 1: grand P. You know, unless like like if you're in
- 57:05Speaker 1: a mate, if you're in an Elks club, you might
- 57:08Speaker 1: be the master Grand Poopa, or maybe you had the MVP,
- 57:13Speaker 1: you could have had the most valuable Okay, we get it.
- 57:18Speaker 1: Or your name is Margaret Gail. I don't know what
- 57:20Speaker 1: it is, but you paralyzed now. So his question was
- 57:25Speaker 1: can you still do it like you used to do
- 57:28Speaker 1: it now? I don't know what she was doing back
- 57:31Speaker 1: folded before prior to two thousand and four. I don't
- 57:34Speaker 1: know what she was doing back then, but obviously it
- 57:39Speaker 1: wasn't what I was thinking. See, I was thinking, to
- 57:42Speaker 1: get to Tyler MVP. That that has to be some
- 57:46Speaker 1: monkey flipping, got the chandelio, swinging, some doknob, diving, some
- 57:55Speaker 1: foot of the bed back, some assaults, some edge of
- 58:00Speaker 1: the bed, your knees, a lot of bouncing. It's just
- 58:06Speaker 1: a lot of stuff go in there. When if you
- 58:09Speaker 1: were to consider someone that, where are anybody? Yeah? But
- 58:14Speaker 1: now I don't. I can't go too far because I
- 58:17Speaker 1: don't want anybody that has a situation to think I'm
- 58:20Speaker 1: making fun of him cause or not. But the lady
- 58:23Speaker 1: did right me with the pali paraized things since two
- 58:26Speaker 1: thousand folk. But she thinks, Steve, so, I don't know
- 58:30Speaker 1: how to heal what y'all doing in that now. I
- 58:34Speaker 1: don't man what's going on either he had never had
- 58:38Speaker 1: no MGP before, or it was the best MGP he
- 58:43Speaker 1: ever had. Maybe didn't require you to do much, Steve,
- 58:48Speaker 1: she said in the letter, I showed him that I
- 58:52Speaker 1: could still put it on him. Now she said that, Yeah,
- 58:55Speaker 1: she said that, Sherley. But now that makes me question,
- 58:59Speaker 1: what would you putting on it? The MP? You think? Okay? Now,
- 59:05Speaker 1: the only thing I can think is is that inside
- 59:09Speaker 1: the MGP, what it's like a It's like once you
- 59:20Speaker 1: buy mission to an amusement park. Once you go into park,
- 59:23Speaker 1: that's where the rides is at. See that's what I'm thinking.
- 59:27Speaker 1: That's why you could So it could be the most
- 59:30Speaker 1: grand park. It could be go ahead ship. He's sorry,
- 59:35Speaker 1: sorry for interrupting you, but I need him, he said,
- 59:38Speaker 1: I still hold that title to this day. That's why
- 59:41Speaker 1: I'm saying. There must be something going on inside the
- 59:44Speaker 1: mg Yeah. See see, maybe maybe MG stands for Madison Guard.
- 59:55Speaker 1: You know, maybe the MG is a short for MGM
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: where a lot of activity going build see the shows
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: I'm assuming that there's a lot of stuff going on
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: once you get inside, the show ain't outside. Maybe they
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: ain't got to be nothing going on. Maybe that you know,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: a lot of I don't know if his hands, I
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: don't know, if it feels, I don't know what it is.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: Some yeah, if it needs some helps to let me
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: help her. You go ahead, Jake. What she wanted him
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: to lord, what she would like for him to do
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: is roll up on her. Because she is not a
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: not a fish around person. She is not handicapped in
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: this department. You understand what I'm saying, roll up on me.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Not she's not. She's not gonna let him walk all
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: over her. That hey, Jake, but paralyzing shit you waste, Jake.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: To even it out, you get in the chair and
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: you rolled over here watching, Thank you, thank you. Now
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: you might think this woman don't have no feeling for you,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: but she do she do? Oh, she gotta leg up
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: on the situation. She gotta let up the situation. She's
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: not gonna be burial waiting on you. Probably probably some dude, dude.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: I did it with that thing, baby, with that thing,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: I showed him that I could still put it on ys,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: you did, lady, and congratulations and so since you hadn't
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: done that and you gave it something and y'all dated
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: over twenty years ago, and I already gave him a
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: sample of the MGP shit. I put the ninety day
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: rude on him when we move in together. Unless you
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: want to ask the roll right out of here. You're
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: probably too late for this hell to walk out your life.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: You been give it up? Yeah, I feel like twenty
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: years you've already committed. He's moving in and you wanted man,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: you do want to get mad, So I'm trying to
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: do things right. You've already known it for twenty going
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: to see where it go. Congratulations. I don't know how
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: you did it, but whatever you're doing, to keep up
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: the good work doing it? What? Ye I don't know what.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: Let this man move in your house killing me if
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: you won't to a nobody else rolled up over there?

- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Did y'all enjoy that? You? H No? I didn't say.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: And you know what the problem is, Steve, me and Jay.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: You know we talk on the phone, and did you
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: have a when you was on the phone. Yes, I did, Tommy,
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: but the whole world knows. Now, no, you're not and
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: turned the air. All right, more of this crazy ignorant show.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this. You're listening to
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, here's the question
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: for you. What old argument do you or your significant
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: others still bring up to this day? Yeah? Man, now
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: well no, wait a minute. This was the topic on
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: reddit dot com. A man said he complimented a waitress
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: on her short, bald haircut in front of his wife,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: and over a year later, his wife still makes him
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: feel badly about it. According to the story, his wife
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: offers to go to the bathroom and shave her head
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: if that will make you happy. I love it, Yes,
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: I love it. Right. Well, maybe I need to go
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: to the bathroom and shave my head if that'll make
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: you happy. Maybe that'll make you happy if I got
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: a shave head. Huh, I know just how she said,
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: you know, yes, a little our hair cut. Huh, what
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: a compliment. It's a compliment. Oh you don't like my
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: long hair? Maybe I need to shave my head. Maybe
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: that'll make you happy, yes, and said you compliment. You're
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: handing out compliments and stuff, all right, So Steven, I
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: don't know why this makes me think of you. Do
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: you have any arguments in your relationship that never go away?
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: And you know something that comes up from time to time? Oh? Well,
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: the only thing we really are about over knowing some
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: damn kids. You know, it's the damn kids. Most my
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: arguments is being about some one of them kids. We
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: have a difference of opinion and the way we all
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: to handle it. That's one you know comes up all
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: the time, you know, And I'm too hard. I don't
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: know how to love the kids in spite of their
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: problems and stuff. I know kids have problems and everything,
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: but you know, I don't want him. What do you
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: their parents supposed to listen? I'm tired of parents, do you?

- 1:07:38Speaker 1: stupid ass. Come in here. I don't know the man.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: I'm so sick, man in hell, go ahead. Try. Oh
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: she got so mad at me. The other day I
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: took one of the kids. Ask me if I said,
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: try if you know that ain't gonna work. Well, okay,
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: if you tell them don't do it, they're gonna do
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: it anyway. Try it. You just try. Let's see, let's
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: go ahead, do it knowing that. That's not knowing what's
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: gonna happen. Because when I told you not to do something,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: you do it anyway. Then you come back in here.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: I should have listened to you. You don't she going
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: out here and do it fall on your face? But
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: did you when you really? Yeah? I did most of
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: the time, oh most most of the most of the time. Well,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: I just kept most of my stuff from them. I
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: didn't go in there with a pinion. I didn't have
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: some nothing. I just went on and blew it. H
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: I can't believe that. Shut your punk ass up. What
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: did you do now? You didn't want to hear all
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: the parents? Yeah? Yeah, all right, So Junior, I know
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: you have one. Oh god, oh okay. Girl came to
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: the show one time, right uh huh. And after the show,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: you know, go to the bathroom and she hears some
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: women in there talking about me about how funny I
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: was and how cute I was. She heard, so anytime
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: anybody compliment me, she said, well, let me go in
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: the bathroom and see what the discussion is this time
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: about somebody. Somebody say I like your shirt. She says,
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: let me get up and go to the bathroom. It
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: must be a conversation. She didn't go on the running
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: head like this damn shirt, so he got waiting. I
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: don't like to talk about that every day of time
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: we go out there. I don't care if we go
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: to pulling the drive through. Oh I like your sun glass.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: Let me run in the bathroom and mcdown. It must
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: be a conversation about this. Don't matter where we go.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: We was at a cousin funeral. This man I like
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: that suit. Oh suscussion in the bathroom at the church.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: Let running the bathroom. What I'm saying about the suit?
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: My man? Yeah, she's so fly. Yeah, even doing nothing.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: I didn't ask the ladies to say nothing. But then
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: I brought it. I flipped it, you know. I said, well,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: you should have said something first, and we hadn't head this. No, mother,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: why didn't you say that? Because I'm stupid? What she say?
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: What happened? She turned around on you. There was no

- 1:12:05Speaker 1: this for. You're listening all right, Time for a comedy
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: break right here? Junior is here with things I've never seen?
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: What is this, Junior? Yeah, you know, Tommy, there's a
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: lot of things that you have never seen in your life.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: I mean it's some things like I know you old
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: and everybody you probably have, but it's some things I
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: know I ain't never seen, Like, for instance, I've never
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: seen a shade treat mechanic with a car that's running
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: in perfect condition. You ain't never seen it. He gonna
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: tell me everything wrong with my car, but with his
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: back door missing, all is all running out the car
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: from him and his hat. But he gonna tell me
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: I need a new transmitter. Well, I've never seen it.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: I just ain't never seen it. He's another thing I
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: ain't never seen. I ain't never seen people in the
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: South eat a meal without rice. If it's chicken and rice,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: beans and rice, why is rice on every plate? Ring?
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: Just rice? You know who I've never met. I've never
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: met this person. I've never met a well rested African America.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: I've never met one. I ain't never seen it. Dog,
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: I ain't never seen a well rested African American, not
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: just like that. How you doing? Man? Oh man? Job?
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: Getting on my nerves? Wife talking crazy to my kids.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: Won't live man, I'm tired. I'm just tired. You ain't
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: never seen that. I've never seen a big person eat
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: a meal without a died beverage. I ain't never seen Yeah, hamhock,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: you know, But then a died coke on the side,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: As if that's gonna change something. I have never seen it.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: I hear you Steve, I don't I know, I ain't.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: I ain't gonna do it. I ain't gonna getting none. No, look,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: i've never seen a black funeral. What it is? No
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: clowning going on? Yeah, not one, Not when you ain't
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: up seeing that somebody gonna get cussed out in front
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: of the castle every time. Yea, These just things we've
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: never seen. We ain't never seen anything. I've never seen Christmas,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: Valentine's Halloween declarations being put up in the drug store.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: You just show up one day and they all hanging
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: who That's true. You ain't never seen who hang this up.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: We don't know who that he h. I ain't never
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: seen a white person still a bike out of black neighborhood.
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: I ain't never seen. You ain't gonna never see because
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: they already all right, thank you guys. All right, tell
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: us when we come back, last break of the day
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: and Steve's closing remarks. You don't want to miss him.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: We'll be bat you're listening all right here we are Steve, guys,
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: last break of the day. Steve send us home with
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: some great closing remarks for today. Had a good day
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: to day. Hey, my closing remarks today is something that
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: I want to share with you all that I've been
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: kind of are dealing with a lot lately, and I
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: mean a lot. And the only reason I'm sharing with
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: you because I think there's quite a few people who
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: can relate to this, the thing that I'm trying to
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: correct in my thinking. Uh, you know, the Bible says
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: be anxious for nothing, and there's I'm pretty sure that
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: are people who could explain this a lot better than me.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: But being anxious for nothing means, you know, in other words,
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: don't worry so much about what is going to happen.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: Don't don't want something so badly that it consumes you.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: Don't keep wearing about something that you want to see happen,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: that you're expecting to receive, that you want to be gifted,
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: that you want to acquire, whatever it is. Be anxious
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: for nothing. Now that's hard to do. It really is
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: because naturally, as people, including myself me personally, I have
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: a tendency to focus on the things that I want.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: Here's the problem with it. Here's a twofold problem with it.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: When you focus on what you want. Number one, focusing
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: on it shows a lack of faith because every thing
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: you've ever needed. I mean, really, just ask yourself. Hasn't
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: God always done it? I mean, what you need it.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: You may not get everything you want. Everything you want
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: ain't good for y'all can tell you that right now.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: I've wanted a whole lot of stuff turned out not
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: to be good for me. But everything you've needed God
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: has taken care of. So being anxious for his will
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: to be done I mean, I mean being anxious for
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Him to do something in your life, which is something
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: He's always done. It just exhibits a lack of faith
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: when you become anxious for stuff. The second part of
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: it is is it causes you to lose focus on
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: what you already have. And once you lose focus for
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: what you already have, you are no longer showing the
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: level of gratitude that you need to exhibit in order
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: to move your life forward to the next level. That's
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: a dangerous trap, and I find myself in it oftentimes,
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: and I'm just gonna be I'm just gonna be honest
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: with you. So what I'm trying to learn and teach
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: myself and become comfortable with it, it's how not to
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: be anxious for nothing. Realizing that God has always taken
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: care of me. God has always taken care of you.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: God has never been late in this world. He ain't
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: ever been late, not now single time. He always comes
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: through with everything you need. He may not come when
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: you want him, but he ain't never laid. So I
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: have to get comfortable in knowing that He has always
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: come through for me. He has always delivered for me.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: So why am I being anxious? And in my anxiousness
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: for what I don't have, I now cause myself to
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: lose sight and show the proper mind of gratitude for
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: what I do have. And gratitude is one of the
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: major opponents of the principles of success, because the more
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: you are grateful for, the more God will give you
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: to be grateful for. You. See, So sometimes I trick
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: myself out of blessing by overthinking it, over wanting it.
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not saying you're not supposed to want
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: anything anymore. You will, but don't be anxious for it.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: Don't be sitting up fretting about it. He gonna do
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: what he's supposed to do. And then, in another word,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: God don't really need your help to accomplish nothing. He
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: really don't he can get all this done without you
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: get out of the way. So you know, though, that's
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: something right there. It's been one of the main focuses.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: And when I get it right, when I'm not anxious
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: for nothing, and I do show the right amount of
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: gratitude for what I've already been given, it releases pressure
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: from me. You know, you've heard old people say, if
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: you're gonna pray about it, don't worry about it, and
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: if you're gonna weary about it, don't pray about it.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: And you know, sometimes in my anxiousness, I'm praying for
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: stuff over and over and over. But you know, if
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: you're gonna pray about it, you got you got, you
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: gotta not worrying about it. But if you're anxious for
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: something you're worrying about it, you're just worrying about it.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: And that right there is not the way that it's done.
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: It's just not the way it's done. And I've been
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: learning over the past month or so really how to
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: focus on that a lot better. And that may be
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: something that you might be looking at two or going through,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: and I just wanted to share that with you because
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: you know, it could be something that you might be
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: dealing with two and I'm just sharing with you that
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: you ain't the only one going through it. You ain't
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: the only one feeling some kind of way about it
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: that in actual a lot of people might be doing
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: it and we and we're doing it injustice to ourselves.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: So be anxious for nothing, trusting the fact that God
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: has always taken care of you, way better than you've
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: taken care of yourself. Those are my closing moments. Hey man,
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: Steve dropped that. That is the thing that I'm rapidly
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: with a lot lately. Okay, we're all about it, and
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: don't that's right. Well, I have a great week here
