- 2:07Speaker 1: on dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:12Speaker 1: a radio sill. Steve Harvey got a radio show. Sometimes
- 2:18Speaker 1: when I chuckle like that reminds me of my oldest
- 2:20Speaker 1: brother to pass the where he used to laugh like that.
- 2:22Speaker 1: It's kind of funny how jeans get passed down through
- 2:25Speaker 1: the line. I don't know why I told y'all that,
- 2:27Speaker 1: just want to share with you, that's all. Wow, all right,
- 2:31Speaker 1: I'm all good one to day. You know, I was,
- 2:35Speaker 1: as always always kind of ask God to help me,
- 2:38Speaker 1: you know, um, and and and and I had I
- 2:42Speaker 1: had gotten off track a little bit because one of
- 2:46Speaker 1: the principles of success. I want to share with you
- 2:48Speaker 1: all today is a law of attraction. And that is
- 2:52Speaker 1: a very very serious principle. It cannot be ignored. The
- 2:57Speaker 1: law of attraction. And I'm I'm not going to be
- 3:01Speaker 1: able to explain it to you as well as the
- 3:04Speaker 1: books secrets can, or as well as some people. I
- 3:08Speaker 1: can only articulate it to you the way that I
- 3:12Speaker 1: see it. The law of attraction is very very real.
- 3:16Speaker 1: The law of attraction is a principle of success. It
- 3:21Speaker 1: is something that everyone has to adhere to. Now, whether
- 3:25Speaker 1: you know the law of attraction or not, it does
- 3:29Speaker 1: not make it not exist for you. This is the
- 3:34Speaker 1: case where ignorance is not the excuse. The fact that
- 3:39Speaker 1: no one told it to you. There is no pass
- 3:42Speaker 1: for this one. The fact that you never heard it
- 3:45Speaker 1: before it does not allow you to do it any
- 3:50Speaker 1: other way. So let me see if I can put
- 3:53Speaker 1: it to you best I can. The law of attraction,
- 3:57Speaker 1: the law of attraction, to put it real simple, is
- 4:00Speaker 1: the thing that you focus on, the thing that you
- 4:04Speaker 1: talk about. The thing that you think of is the
- 4:09Speaker 1: thing that you draw to you. It's what you attract
- 4:12Speaker 1: to you. That's basically the law of attraction. The thing
- 4:16Speaker 1: that you talk about, the thing that you think about
- 4:21Speaker 1: the thing that you focus on, whatever it is that
- 4:26Speaker 1: is what you attract. The law of attraction does not
- 4:32Speaker 1: differentiate from positive and negative. It only does what it does.
- 4:39Speaker 1: What I am saying is this in the law of attraction.
- 4:45Speaker 1: No matter what you think of, no matter what occupies
- 4:49Speaker 1: your time, no matter what you say, or no matter
- 4:53Speaker 1: what the focus is, positive or negative, the law of
- 4:57Speaker 1: attraction knows neither one. It just attract exit. So let's
- 5:02Speaker 1: use some examples here. I can just the best example.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Always uses me that way. I ain't got to figure
- 5:09Speaker 1: out nothing. I can just tell you my side of it.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I was in a lot of debt one time in
- 5:18Speaker 1: my life. This is before any of you knew me,
- 5:22Speaker 1: so you can understand. In case you're not thinking, I don't.
- 5:27Speaker 1: I don't want you to think that this conversation is
- 5:29Speaker 1: about your income level, cause it's not. It doesn't matter
- 5:33Speaker 1: what the income level you are. The law of attraction
- 5:35Speaker 1: works in all aspects money, family, relationships, job, career, love.
- 5:41Speaker 1: It just works that way. Okay, here's the deal. I
- 5:44Speaker 1: kept saying, Man, this debt is killing me. I got
- 5:49Speaker 1: to get out, and I thought that was good enough. Man,
- 5:53Speaker 1: this debt, man everywhere I turned, I see debt. I
- 5:56Speaker 1: got to get out, man, I got to get out
- 6:00Speaker 1: of debt. Man, this debt is killing me. Man. That's
- 6:03Speaker 1: all I see is debt, and I got to get
- 6:05Speaker 1: out of debt. That's what I thought was a good goal,
- 6:10Speaker 1: to get out of debt. But what I kept saying was,
- 6:14Speaker 1: you know, I kept talking about debt, and you know
- 6:17Speaker 1: what it kept doing. It kept attracting debt to me.
- 6:22Speaker 1: So guess what, so I could get out That's all.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Is that crazy? Is that crazy? So it kept attracting
- 6:31Speaker 1: debt to me so I could keep getting out of it.
- 6:36Speaker 1: That is an amazing law to understand. What turned it
- 6:40Speaker 1: around for me was I started claiming a life of abundance. God,
- 6:48Speaker 1: I am seeking a life of abundance. I want to
- 6:52Speaker 1: have more than enough. I want to be able to
- 6:55Speaker 1: help other people. I want to have money to donate
- 7:00Speaker 1: to causes. I want to have money to help other
- 7:03Speaker 1: people in program. I want to have enough money to
- 7:06Speaker 1: not only send my children to college, but maybe if
- 7:09Speaker 1: I meet another boy or something, I can help another child.
- 7:12Speaker 1: I just want to have a law of attraction so
- 7:15Speaker 1: that I be able to provide my family. The lifestyle
- 7:18Speaker 1: that I want to provide them. I want heavily father,
- 7:21Speaker 1: to be able to be an example of your goodness
- 7:25Speaker 1: and your grace in my life. That is what I
- 7:29Speaker 1: started saying. And guess what, that's what I started attractive.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I'm going to have a great relationship with my children.
- 7:37Speaker 1: I'm going to be the father that I always wanted
- 7:41Speaker 1: to be. I'm going to be a good father. I'm
- 7:44Speaker 1: going to be a good husband. Now, I am going
- 7:47Speaker 1: to do the right things. I am going to be
- 7:50Speaker 1: the type of example that my sons can look no
- 7:53Speaker 1: further and go. I can be like my dad. I
- 7:56Speaker 1: want to be able to be a place, a beacon
- 7:59Speaker 1: of light and home for my daughters to come to.
- 8:01Speaker 1: That's what I started saying. That's what I started attracting
- 8:06Speaker 1: to my life. The law of attraction does not care
- 8:11Speaker 1: if you want it to be positive or negative. The
- 8:15Speaker 1: law of attraction just attracts whatever it is. You focus on,
- 8:20Speaker 1: what you think about, the words that come out your mouth.
- 8:24Speaker 1: That is what the law of attraction is. You cannot
- 8:29Speaker 1: overlook this principle of success and expect to make it
- 8:33Speaker 1: because of the fact that you've never heard of the
- 8:35Speaker 1: law of attraction. Because of the fact that you don't
- 8:38Speaker 1: know how it really operates, it does not make it
- 8:42Speaker 1: not exist in your day. You can start today attracting
- 8:48Speaker 1: the right things to your life by changing what you say,
- 8:54Speaker 1: what you think, what you focus on. Change the focus,
- 9:01Speaker 1: change the thought, change the words that come out your mouth.
- 9:07Speaker 1: And guess what you change what you attract to yourself.
- 9:11Speaker 1: You have got to ask yourself why is it? Man? Man,
- 9:15Speaker 1: let me tell you something. Somebody said to Bishop Jakes
- 9:17Speaker 1: one time. They said, man, everything you touch turns to gold.
- 9:23Speaker 1: He said, no, I just don't touch everything. Man, This
- 9:28Speaker 1: it's crazy. Come on, man, he has a focus. He
- 9:34Speaker 1: has a focus. See, he ain't just everywhere. Bring me
- 9:38Speaker 1: any idea, let me try that. No, no, no, man,
- 9:40Speaker 1: he has a focus. He has a law of attraction
- 9:44Speaker 1: that's working, where he's attracting things to his life that
- 9:49Speaker 1: that's positive that he can't ask not to say, Bishop
- 9:52Speaker 1: Jakes don't have problems because we talk often, and man,
- 9:55Speaker 1: he have them. Oh, please understand. And he's not trying
- 9:58Speaker 1: to attract the problem. But what he will attract is
- 10:02Speaker 1: the proper solution for the problem. And ain't that all
- 10:06Speaker 1: you need? Sometimes God did not say that it would
- 10:10Speaker 1: be easy He just said he would be with you.
- 10:14Speaker 1: And if God is with you, who can be against you?
- 10:17Speaker 1: God will make your enemies your footstool. God is powerful man,
- 10:21Speaker 1: His word is true. He do what he say he
- 10:23Speaker 1: gonna do. Now, all we got to do is do
- 10:26Speaker 1: some of what we say. We ain't gonna do everything.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Just do some of what we say. Okay, here's the deal.
- 10:32Speaker 1: God is going to do everything he say he gonna do.
- 10:36Speaker 1: You and I just got to do some of the
- 10:38Speaker 1: stuff we say we're gonna do because he already know
- 10:40Speaker 1: we ain't gonna do all of it. Yeah. He clear
- 10:42Speaker 1: on that. He clear on that. I ain't smoking no more. Yeah, okay, cool, Yeah,
- 10:47Speaker 1: maybe not, you know, I ain't. I ain't. I ain't
- 10:50Speaker 1: gambling no more. Okay, maybe not, maybe not maybe now
- 10:53Speaker 1: I'm quick custom right, okay, cool, all right, thank you.
- 10:58Speaker 1: You're listening to morning show. Ladies and gentlemen, man, have

- 13:16Speaker 1: Pretty out there this morning? Pretty good? You know what
- 13:18Speaker 1: you need to start your day off sometime get You
- 13:21Speaker 1: need to get people's attention. You know what they call
- 13:23Speaker 1: is al ROYD. Smith taught me that's one of the
- 13:25Speaker 1: greatest radio dudes in the business. What's up, al Roy?
- 13:28Speaker 1: If you're out there, somebody know l Road tell him
- 13:30Speaker 1: Steve Arby shouting him out this morning. Al Roy is
- 13:32Speaker 1: the reason I'm in radio today. Al Roy was the
- 13:36Speaker 1: first one to discover that this guy should be doing
- 13:39Speaker 1: radio rush. Huh, l Roy Smith, I'm talking to people
- 13:45Speaker 1: who don't know. Y'all always tell me to explain that.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Al Roy Smith actually taught me how to do radio,
- 13:53Speaker 1: to put it into some type of structure. I wasn't instructured,
- 13:58Speaker 1: but he told me you'refactive own radio because you're compelling.
- 14:02Speaker 1: I didn't know what that meant, so I asked it.
- 14:05Speaker 1: He said, no, you are must heal radio. People tuned
- 14:12Speaker 1: in because they don't want to miss nothing you got.
- 14:15Speaker 1: He said, that's compelling radio, and the great ones are compelling.
- 14:20Speaker 1: He's said, if you want to do this for a living,
- 14:23Speaker 1: stay compelling. So what I just did this morning that
- 14:27Speaker 1: was hell you what did you learn, junior? We'll have
- 14:33Speaker 1: nothing find out that that opened was compelling. Coming up
- 14:38Speaker 1: at thirty two after guys, a rude woman was escorted
- 14:41Speaker 1: off a plane for fat shaming people. We'll talk about
- 14:45Speaker 1: it and some of your worst flight experiences when we
- 14:47Speaker 1: come back at thirty two after Right after this, you're listening, Well,
- 14:54Speaker 1: it's becoming pretty apparent that people just don't know how
- 14:57Speaker 1: to be civil to people anymore. I'm I mean, we're
- 15:00Speaker 1: not civil to each other. Take for example, all right,
- 15:04Speaker 1: the latest shocking incident that has now gone viral. This
- 15:08Speaker 1: is of a woman who was escorted off the United
- 15:10Speaker 1: Airlines flight after she fat shamed two passengers, calling them
- 15:15Speaker 1: two big pigs. Wow. Yeah. The video posted it was
- 15:19Speaker 1: posted on social media shows a white woman ranting about
- 15:22Speaker 1: having to sit between a black woman named Norma and
- 15:25Speaker 1: her boyfriend. A woman complains that they were squishing her,
- 15:30Speaker 1: calling them two fat pigs. Here's a little bit of
- 15:33Speaker 1: what was captured of what the woman was saying. Take
- 15:35Speaker 1: a listen to them. I know I'm gonna do this
- 15:38Speaker 1: for the next four hours. This it's just impossible because
- 15:42Speaker 1: squishing me freaky thankyous. I don't have my choice. At
- 15:48Speaker 1: least I'll keeping warm. Excuse me? Can you find her
- 15:53Speaker 1: another seat? Because I will not be verbally abused by
- 15:56Speaker 1: this anybody else. Yes, I will not be verdually abused
- 16:01Speaker 1: by anybody. I'm not tryl rating there. I can't. I
- 16:05Speaker 1: can't sit here because it's both so fake. I'm live tonight.
- 16:08Speaker 1: I can't. I can't even stand. Do you want to phone?
- 16:11Speaker 1: I've been standing of any place or place I need
- 16:15Speaker 1: sad should be shaven, so terrible shall I'm not playing?
- 16:22Speaker 1: Why don't you sit, I kniss my fat Okay, who
- 16:32Speaker 1: who can? You can have the birth to come back?
- 16:38Speaker 1: I'm like reporting imports a flat. Remember I don't try nobody.
- 16:44Speaker 1: I mean I travel every week scramp and I'm not
- 16:48Speaker 1: having it. I am not scarting my new year half
- 16:51Speaker 1: with this type of negativity. What baby back? She says,
- 16:55Speaker 1: she flew with Miles. She didn't have a choice, but
- 16:58Speaker 1: at least they'll keep her warm. They're squishing choice with Miles.
- 17:01Speaker 1: You can still pick your seat. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I
- 17:04Speaker 1: didn't know problem. It wasn't the two wrong black people. Yeah,
- 17:09Speaker 1: they heard her saying that it was perfect. He did.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Oh yeah, see that right there, that was perfect. You
- 17:15Speaker 1: had the perfect too, nice Christian folk. But she kept complaining,
- 17:19Speaker 1: so the flight attendants they kicked her off. They should
- 17:21Speaker 1: have put it in the bathroom. They kicked her off.
- 17:25Speaker 1: But did you Your sister went off and said, I
- 17:27Speaker 1: can't should have made a fly between them though it
- 17:31Speaker 1: was nice though. Yeah, yeah, I just raised my elbow
- 17:37Speaker 1: a little bit, knocked that phone down on that flow pressure.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Can you believe that thought? She was saying that in
- 17:46Speaker 1: this day and age, Carla, Unfortunately, I can't believe it.
- 17:50Speaker 1: I'm tired of people saying I can't believe this. I can't.
- 17:53Speaker 1: It's happening. It happens every day. Okay, it's trickling down
- 17:57Speaker 1: from the White House. You've been on a plane with
- 17:58Speaker 1: drama jumped off. H I have been on the plane
- 18:04Speaker 1: where these two people behind me were so into each
- 18:07Speaker 1: other that they got up and went to the bathroom.
- 18:09Speaker 1: I saw it. I did it. Yes, I don't know.
- 18:11Speaker 1: I wasn't in there, but I'm they were in there long. Yeah,
- 18:17Speaker 1: over each Other's when I tell you, all over each other,
- 18:22Speaker 1: all over each other. Yeah. But that the plane, and
- 18:27Speaker 1: when we got off the plane, she went. I guess
- 18:29Speaker 1: it was her husband who met her, because she went
- 18:32Speaker 1: right to him. Honey, No, no, I'm not lying when
- 18:37Speaker 1: I tell you this actually happened. Yes, person on the plane,
- 18:41Speaker 1: she mading that weird. It's not her. No, that wasn't
- 18:44Speaker 1: her man. No, No, when she got off the plane,
- 18:47Speaker 1: that was her man, Steve. Was her worst flight. That's crazy.
- 18:55Speaker 1: That is crazy, right, Yes, because we were getting offended
- 18:58Speaker 1: because they were all over I'm telling you, all over
- 19:04Speaker 1: just two freaks. Freaks. Get a room. Yeah, I didn't
- 19:11Speaker 1: see it. I didn't seen people in first class, argue
- 19:13Speaker 1: like Craig, just don't space above the overhead space. I
- 19:18Speaker 1: mean they feel entitled. So I didn't seen some some
- 19:20Speaker 1: serious arguments, right, Steve, I know you have something. He
- 19:25Speaker 1: didn't been in there. That's we had to say something.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Oh you're talking about like flight experience, flight experience. I
- 19:33Speaker 1: ain't had no worris. I had too many of them
- 19:35Speaker 1: to have the worse. Give us one, Yeah, I've had.
- 19:39Speaker 1: I'm sitting next to people, you know, when Obama was
- 19:43Speaker 1: running for president. Story, Yeah, that one, right, there was
- 19:46Speaker 1: an interesting one. I didn't I wouldn't I wouldn't move.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Sitting in first class, sitting next to this really cool
- 19:52Speaker 1: white guy. Man. We have a great conversation and we're
- 19:56Speaker 1: just talking. Man. We laughed a couple of times, and
- 20:00Speaker 1: he was sitting against the window win first class. He said,
- 20:02Speaker 1: uh um, now ask you something you're not you know,
- 20:07Speaker 1: I guess I'm not you know, saying one way or
- 20:10Speaker 1: the other. You know, Uh mind? If I asked who
- 20:14Speaker 1: you who? You? Who? You? Whore? You voting for him?
- 20:18Speaker 1: I said, yeah, I said, I'm I'm voting for Barack Obama.
- 20:23Speaker 1: So I was interested. He said, you know, I don't
- 20:28Speaker 1: know how it's I just want to ask you a question.
- 20:30Speaker 1: You are you voting for him? Did you have a
- 20:34Speaker 1: reason why you're voting for him? I said, uh, yeah, yeah.
- 20:38Speaker 1: He said why is that? I said, you know, he's
- 20:42Speaker 1: an African American. He said, you're you're simply gonna vote
- 20:45Speaker 1: for him because he's a African American. I said, yeah, yeah,
- 20:50Speaker 1: you don't have you don't care about the issues, not man,
- 20:53Speaker 1: I mean not, I mean voting for him causey black.
- 20:57Speaker 1: I said, let me ask you something, though, is that
- 20:59Speaker 1: the very same reason you ain't gonna vote for his?
- 21:04Speaker 1: Ass looked out that. He didn't talk to me for
- 21:08Speaker 1: three hours, and he kept his face pointed at the window.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Was hurt. Now I'm riding just looking upside his head
- 21:18Speaker 1: because I'm waiting on him to turn around. Look here, partner,
- 21:25Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, you care about the issue? Now?
- 21:27Speaker 1: You vote for him just because he's black? Yeah? Yeah?
- 21:29Speaker 1: I said, let me ask you something. Is that the
- 21:31Speaker 1: very same reason why you ain't gonna vote for it? Boy?
- 21:36Speaker 1: He looked out that wonder all right? Coming up next
- 21:39Speaker 1: it is a nephew with running that brank back right
- 21:42Speaker 1: after this. You're listening coming up at the top of

- 29:53Speaker 1: of Interest on the surveillance video in the Jesse smaller
- 29:57Speaker 1: case and definitely work and could they do me one fate?
- 30:01Speaker 1: What's that? All right? All right? Right after this, you're
- 30:05Speaker 1: listening to life threatening cold grips much of the US.
- 30:13Speaker 1: The Chicago River is frozen. Whoever thought that would happen?
- 30:18Speaker 1: There's no long time yet. Yeah, meteorologists are saying this
- 30:22Speaker 1: is the coldest air in a generation. There's a state
- 30:25Speaker 1: of emergency which has been declared in Illinois, in Michigan
- 30:29Speaker 1: and in Wisconsin. Please be safe out there and listen
- 30:32Speaker 1: to your city officials as to when it is safe
- 30:35Speaker 1: to be outside. Okay, because it is not safe. It
- 30:38Speaker 1: is not safe. Also in today's entertainment news, cops investigating
- 30:42Speaker 1: the Jesse Smallett attacks say they finally have a lead
- 30:46Speaker 1: from the surveillance video, but they are gonna need to
- 30:50Speaker 1: some help from the public. They're going to have to
- 30:52Speaker 1: hear from the public to help locate the persons of interest.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Chicago PD say detectives were unable to find the camera
- 31:00Speaker 1: angle that revealed the persons of interests that are one
- 31:03Speaker 1: for questioning in the assault and battery, But they are
- 31:06Speaker 1: and they're careful not to call the people's suspects in
- 31:09Speaker 1: the case just yet, but police have released the images
- 31:12Speaker 1: of the persons of interest Jesse. Jesse, of course, says
- 31:16Speaker 1: two men and ski masks jumped him, beat him up,
- 31:18Speaker 1: dallast him with bleach, and left him with a rope
- 31:21Speaker 1: around his neck before fleeing. He says they yelled Maga
- 31:24Speaker 1: country as they got away. Wow. Yeah, this is still,
- 31:29Speaker 1: you know, one of the biggest stories out there, and
- 31:31Speaker 1: it has um you know, everyone in entertainment has has
- 31:35Speaker 1: weighed in on this situation as well. I think even
- 31:38Speaker 1: Nancy Pelosi um really texted something. Yeah, it's it's gotten
- 31:42Speaker 1: it about the president. Oh no, no, no, not yet.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, let me check the Twitter time because that's
- 31:51Speaker 1: only way he communicates with him. Yeah. Yeah, he just
- 31:54Speaker 1: can't say it. It goes months without a check last night.
- 31:59Speaker 1: But you know what, they're going to find these people
- 32:03Speaker 1: because they're gonna stay on it. Because there is all
- 32:09Speaker 1: camera everywhere in the downtown area of Chicago. It's not
- 32:14Speaker 1: hard to find two guys show up on one of
- 32:16Speaker 1: these cameras going in the area or vicinity with the
- 32:20Speaker 1: same clothes on when they go in, same clothes on
- 32:24Speaker 1: when they come out That's that's all. And then we
- 32:27Speaker 1: gotta do some research. We're gonna do some other camera
- 32:31Speaker 1: they're gonna do some other stuff, but they're gonna find them. Yeah,
- 32:34Speaker 1: they're gonna How is Jesse Jesse doing Uh, he's recuperating.
- 32:39Speaker 1: He's out of the hospital. Good. Yeah, yeah, Steve. They
- 32:43Speaker 1: had your video on TMZ talking about it. They talked
- 32:47Speaker 1: about Terrence Howard, you know Jesse's co stars, to Roger
- 32:51Speaker 1: p Henson, like you said, all the celebrities, everybody, no
- 32:55Speaker 1: for me, They asked one. You know, man, I all
- 33:00Speaker 1: I posted. I didn't think that much of it because
- 33:02Speaker 1: you know, I had read Bishop Jake's response and I've
- 33:06Speaker 1: seen a couple of videos and that's that's not the
- 33:10Speaker 1: way I am. And so I just did the one
- 33:13Speaker 1: I did, and it went kind of crazy, man, because
- 33:17Speaker 1: I can't tell you that. The people of contact me
- 33:20Speaker 1: about it, you know, yeah, wanting to make it a story.
- 33:23Speaker 1: I don't want to make it a story because it
- 33:25Speaker 1: ain't about me. He's just such a likable guy. You know,
- 33:28Speaker 1: everybody in Hollywood and even politicians, they really like him.
- 33:32Speaker 1: He's an activist, you know, and he stands up for
- 33:34Speaker 1: what he believes and Yeah. He's a cool guy, a
- 33:37Speaker 1: smart guy, you know guy. Yeah. Yeah, his whole family,
- 33:42Speaker 1: the small lets, they're showbiz family journey. His sister, you know,
- 33:48Speaker 1: she's also in the business. So yeah. Anyway, but um,
- 33:52Speaker 1: we're watching the Story, of course, and another entertainment news
- 33:55Speaker 1: and political news. Nick Cannon is going to temporary fill
- 33:59Speaker 1: in as host for Wendy Williams. All right, Steve, let's
- 34:03Speaker 1: get to the headlines please, ladies and gentlemen, miss and trip,
- 34:11Speaker 1: Thanks very much, everybody. This is a trip with the news.
- 34:13Speaker 1: A huge swath of the US is still dealing with deadly, deadly,
- 34:17Speaker 1: below freezing temperatures and winshow factors, you're chilly, just talking
- 34:20Speaker 1: about what's going on in Chicago, what's going on in
- 34:22Speaker 1: the Midwest and the plains. They're especially urged to get
- 34:26Speaker 1: to local warming centers in their areas. Schools and businesses
- 34:29Speaker 1: are closed, airports are all but shut down. There are
- 34:32Speaker 1: no mail delivery yesterday, and at least eleven states and
- 34:35Speaker 1: at least nine states say they're not going to be
- 34:37Speaker 1: delivering mail today either, as the day's high temperatures in
- 34:41Speaker 1: the plains on the Midwest, especially up Midwest, well below zero,
- 34:45Speaker 1: so far eight deaths are linked to this current situation,
- 34:48Speaker 1: and not much change in the weather is expected today.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Of course, the New York Times Lawi's for the family
- 34:53Speaker 1: of Stefan Clark, the twenty two year old unarmed black
- 34:56Speaker 1: man shot to death and his grandmother's yard and Sacramento,
- 34:59Speaker 1: Califor on your last March. That family has followed a
- 35:02Speaker 1: longful death suit accusing the cops of racially profilingly young
- 35:06Speaker 1: father for a crime he didn't commit and using excessive force.
- 35:10Speaker 1: The suit says the cops failed to identify themselves, they
- 35:13Speaker 1: gave no verbal warnings before they shot Stefan Clark twenty
- 35:17Speaker 1: times they claimed he was holding a gun. He was
- 35:20Speaker 1: holding a cell phone, though, and the suit accuses the
- 35:22Speaker 1: police of doing nothing to try and save Sufflon's life
- 35:25Speaker 1: as he bled out on the ground. With the current
- 35:28Speaker 1: stopgap government funding deal expiring on February fifteenth, the committee
- 35:31Speaker 1: of both Democratic and Republican lawmakers have begun negotiations they
- 35:36Speaker 1: actually began yesterday, aimed at passing a longer term financial
- 35:39Speaker 1: agreement across your fingers there. Meanwhile, there is another deadline
- 35:42Speaker 1: coming up, this one in March. A US and Chinese
- 35:45Speaker 1: negotiators have begun talks aimed at settling the now six
- 35:48Speaker 1: month old trade war. A March second deadline has been
- 35:52Speaker 1: set for the two sides to read sub kind of
- 35:53Speaker 1: an agreement. Otherwise, the Trump administrations threatened to hike up
- 35:57Speaker 1: tariffs on close to two hundred billion dollars worth of
- 35:59Speaker 1: China these products. George's own Stacey Abrams has been selected
- 36:03Speaker 1: to deliver the Democratics with bottle to President Trump State
- 36:06Speaker 1: the Union speech next Tuesday. Abrams, the black woman who
- 36:08Speaker 1: ran and almost won the governorship of the Peach State
- 36:11Speaker 1: last November, considered a rising star in the Democratic Party.
- 36:14Speaker 1: Republican Brian Kemp you may remember one the election amid
- 36:17Speaker 1: allegations that as a Secretary of State he was kind
- 36:20Speaker 1: of in charge of the vote and he helped suppress
- 36:22Speaker 1: the black vote by disallowing scores of voter registrations. Ten
- 36:26Speaker 1: days after the election, Stacy Abrams stopped protesting the vote,
- 36:29Speaker 1: but she never conceded. By the way, female legislators are
- 36:32Speaker 1: going to be asked to wear white to show solidarity
- 36:34Speaker 1: reach with each other during that speech. By the way,
- 36:36Speaker 1: by the President, top Officials and Nations Intelligence Committee strongly
- 36:40Speaker 1: disagreeing with President Trump's boast about what he's been able
- 36:43Speaker 1: to accomplish with the North Koreans despite ongoing negotiations, The
- 36:47Speaker 1: Director of National Intelligence says Kim John Ill does not
- 36:49Speaker 1: appear to be willing to completely dismantle his nuclear program. Finally,
- 36:53Speaker 1: Today's National Hot and Spicy Food Day, No food Love
- 37:02Speaker 1: it back to Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to
- 37:06Speaker 1: show all right. During a press conference in Atlanta, Steve.
- 37:10Speaker 1: NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell broke his silence yesterday finally on
- 37:14Speaker 1: that controversial no call during the NFC Championship game. Take
- 37:18Speaker 1: a listen. You know it was the Rams against the
- 37:20Speaker 1: New Orleans Things. Take a listen to this. Officiating is
- 37:23Speaker 1: part of any kind of discussion post game. It's never
- 37:27Speaker 1: a good outcome for us. We know that our clubs
- 37:30Speaker 1: know that, our officials know that, but we also know
- 37:34Speaker 1: our officials are human. We also know that they're officiating
- 37:38Speaker 1: a game that moves very quickly and have to make
- 37:40Speaker 1: snap decisions under difficult circumstances, and they're not going to
- 37:44Speaker 1: get it right every time. As they say, they're human.
- 37:48Speaker 1: We have worked very hard to bring technology in to
- 37:52Speaker 1: try to make sure we could do whatever it's possible
- 37:55Speaker 1: to address those issues. But techology it's not going to
- 38:00Speaker 1: solve all those issues. The game is not officiated by robots,
- 38:04Speaker 1: it's not it's not going to be Wow. So is
- 38:08Speaker 1: that because that sufficient? Steve Man? You know, look, do
- 38:14Speaker 1: you think more technology would help? We have to because
- 38:17Speaker 1: these games are too important, We're gonna have to make
- 38:21Speaker 1: use of technology. It's only fair. Well, see it is
- 38:25Speaker 1: not fair. See look, if a player accidentally drops the ball,
- 38:33Speaker 1: his team has to pay for that. But Steve, it
- 38:36Speaker 1: shouldn't be about technology. It should be about when it's
- 38:40Speaker 1: a no call, a coach should be able to say,
- 38:43Speaker 1: you miss something over here. Well I don't think that's
- 38:48Speaker 1: but sir, if if you miss it, don't we have
- 38:52Speaker 1: to go to replay? Oh? Definitely that I'm not saying
- 38:55Speaker 1: that's what I'm referring to as technology. I ain't saying
- 38:58Speaker 1: we need drones, you know. Yeah, you're talking about replays,
- 39:03Speaker 1: more replays on certain calls. Is that what you're saying, Steve? Yeah,
- 39:07Speaker 1: I mean we have the technology. We got those end
- 39:09Speaker 1: zone cameras, cameras, we got everything to see if a
- 39:14Speaker 1: person really clawed across the goal line. We can we
- 39:17Speaker 1: can see if the football really went through the goal.
- 39:21Speaker 1: We should really see if a penalty was a penalty.
- 39:24Speaker 1: We don't need the more camera angles. We just need
- 39:26Speaker 1: to go ahead and just review this play. I think
- 39:28Speaker 1: the coach say, hey, you missed him. It is well like,
- 39:31Speaker 1: for example, if you could throw a challenge flag, okay,
- 39:36Speaker 1: in the last quarter of a game, you should be
- 39:40Speaker 1: able to challenge a call. In the second half of
- 39:42Speaker 1: a game. You should be able to challenge a call.
- 39:45Speaker 1: That's what I'm talking about. I do like that, all right, Okay.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty four after the hour, we're gonna
- 39:51Speaker 1: switch gears here. Relationship dating questions for the man Steve
- 39:56Speaker 1: Harvey as we celebrate, yeah, the tenth anniversary of Act
- 39:59Speaker 1: Like a Lady, Think Like a Man. When we come
- 40:02Speaker 1: back you're listening to all week we are celebrating the
- 40:09Speaker 1: tenth anniversary of Steve's book, Act Like a Lady, Think
- 40:13Speaker 1: Like a Man. Steve, Congratulations again and now it is
- 40:17Speaker 1: time to ask you some relationship questions from Steve HARVEYFM
- 40:21Speaker 1: dot com. These are from our fans. Here here's a question.
- 40:24Speaker 1: This one was submitted by Erica E. She wants to know,
- 40:27Speaker 1: what are your thoughts, Steve and your dudes and don'ts
- 40:30Speaker 1: of social media dating? She says, well, we can only
- 40:33Speaker 1: assume that she means when someone hits you up on
- 40:36Speaker 1: the DMSU in the DMS and also, Steve, what are
- 40:39Speaker 1: your thoughts on online dating? Well, I'm okay with online
- 40:44Speaker 1: dating because I think what it does is it gives
- 40:48Speaker 1: a woman not the ability to hunt, but the ability
- 40:53Speaker 1: to say I'm available to be hunting. You know, I've
- 40:57Speaker 1: said it a million times. Women don't like to hunt,
- 41:00Speaker 1: they don't enjoy hunting, they don't know how to hunt,
- 41:02Speaker 1: they don't like it. But what women are, They're the
- 41:06Speaker 1: absolute greatest attractives on planet Earth. They're the greatest attractives.
- 41:12Speaker 1: But if you live in a restricted environment, Let's say
- 41:16Speaker 1: you go to the same church every week, go to
- 41:19Speaker 1: the same PTA meeting, you go to the same grocery store,
- 41:23Speaker 1: and you got same circle of friends, and y'all have
- 41:27Speaker 1: tied so and Soul's house. How many men you think
- 41:30Speaker 1: you're gonna meet? Single men don't walk up in churches
- 41:33Speaker 1: every weekend. They just don't. You know you're not gonna
- 41:38Speaker 1: meet them after Saturday night. You know you're not gonna
- 41:41Speaker 1: meet them at that same grocery store you go to
- 41:44Speaker 1: whenever you go. You're saying, come out of your comfort zone. Ladies.
- 41:47Speaker 1: I'm saying you have to come out of your immediate circle,
- 41:51Speaker 1: which could be your comfort zone, so more men can
- 41:54Speaker 1: know you're available. And that's what online dating does. It
- 41:57Speaker 1: allows you to put up a picture at a profile,
- 42:00Speaker 1: up a real picture in the truth picture, a current picture,
- 42:03Speaker 1: what you really look like, and be that person. If
- 42:06Speaker 1: you meet the gown line, then get you another phone
- 42:09Speaker 1: that's just for these dates that you meet online, and
- 42:13Speaker 1: before you go meet them, get yourself on FaceTime. Stop
- 42:17Speaker 1: meeting people without facetiming. Let's stop catfishing people pictures that
- 42:21Speaker 1: are not you. Yeah, nobody gonna sit there there and
- 42:25Speaker 1: coming in that ain't you on a picture? Right? That
- 42:27Speaker 1: ain't happen for him? You know? And so what about
- 42:31Speaker 1: like on the DM, Like, you know, I can't hit
- 42:33Speaker 1: somebody up in there, so I don't know how to DM.
- 42:36Speaker 1: So I don't know. If you want to DM somebody,
- 42:38Speaker 1: you know, go ahead, if they want to respond, go
- 42:40Speaker 1: ahead a direct message. Yeah you can do all of that,
- 42:43Speaker 1: but you know, use your brain at one point in time.
- 42:48Speaker 1: The old fashioned way is still what's gonna have to happen,
- 42:51Speaker 1: even when you get through DM and swiping right, swiping left.
- 42:55Speaker 1: Guess what. In order for this to turn into something,
- 42:58Speaker 1: boy has to meet girl. That's someone. Girl has to
- 43:03Speaker 1: like what boy says. Boy has to have something to say.
- 43:08Speaker 1: The analytics begin, the feelings flow, and then you see
- 43:12Speaker 1: where it goes. But we've changed it. See we're so instant.
- 43:16Speaker 1: It's it's it's instant booty. Now everything's it's instant booty.
- 43:23Speaker 1: I mean, and it's and it's to the detrimental women.
- 43:27Speaker 1: Guy's going, oh man, cool. Yeah, I look at how
- 43:31Speaker 1: easy it is now for guys it and I go, wow,
- 43:34Speaker 1: sounds funny, but it's not funny. I mean that that's
- 43:37Speaker 1: a real to say. No, for real. I look at
- 43:41Speaker 1: how easy guys get women now, yeah, and I go wow,
- 43:45Speaker 1: that was not the way it was for me. That
- 43:49Speaker 1: they have to work for, right, Steve, I mean absolutely absolutely.
- 43:55Speaker 1: If it's easy, come, it's easy go, if it's easy
- 44:00Speaker 1: to get with, it's easy to split with, we don't
- 44:04Speaker 1: we don't we If you act like you're passing out
- 44:07Speaker 1: chewing gum when you choot chewing gum and you get
- 44:09Speaker 1: tired over what you do. Yeah, spit it out way
- 44:12Speaker 1: but see but see, Steve, when you say things like
- 44:15Speaker 1: that today to these millennials and others, uh, they think
- 44:19Speaker 1: you're being old fashioned, old school too, you know. They
- 44:23Speaker 1: think that that's why the question is about social media.
- 44:27Speaker 1: And now that's that's why I understand. But at the
- 44:30Speaker 1: end of the day, when you get through with the
- 44:33Speaker 1: technology part and the ability to meet a person online
- 44:37Speaker 1: or whatever, guess what steel has to happen. Boy has
- 44:41Speaker 1: to meet girl. Girl has to like what boys say.
- 44:45Speaker 1: Boy had to say something to say that's becomes a
- 44:49Speaker 1: physical exchange. Until that happens, y'all ain't got nothing. Yeah,
- 44:52Speaker 1: all right, we'll go to Steve Harvey FM and submit
- 44:55Speaker 1: your relationship questions. Up next, it is a nephew with
- 44:57Speaker 1: the prank phone call. Right after this, you're listening Steve
- 45:01Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of the hour.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Right about four minutes after, it's my Strawberry letter. For
- 45:08Speaker 1: today's subject, your online friend is overstepping boundaries. That is
- 45:14Speaker 1: the subject of the Strawberry letter. But right now the
- 45:16Speaker 1: nephew is in the building with today's prank phone call.
- 45:19Speaker 1: What you got now, no ant chokes. H No ant chokes. Okay,
- 45:26Speaker 1: why are you be saying about it? No ant chokes? Running? Hello,

- 45:43Speaker 1: in pizcha? Nobody puts some nanchobies on my pizza? Black people? Nanchobies? Man?
- 45:51Speaker 1: Who who? Who? Who would do that? Who would put
- 45:54Speaker 1: a channels? That settles out with the language that Pal?
- 45:59Speaker 1: All right, you know if you got answer movies on
- 46:01Speaker 1: your pizza, he just must have gotten mixed up with
- 46:04Speaker 1: another one. I'll send you another pizza. It ain't a
- 46:06Speaker 1: big deal. But I ain't asking anchovies. Man. Might fact,
- 46:10Speaker 1: let me ask you, so, what the does the ant
- 46:13Speaker 1: shoby any damn way? It's like a sardine. That's what

- 46:21Speaker 1: let me tell you something. Man. First, what's your name?
- 46:24Speaker 1: What is your name? I'm Gino. I'm Gino. So you're
- 46:27Speaker 1: the owner of the damn Pizza place? Yeah, I owned
- 46:29Speaker 1: the damn pizza place. And I don't need people calling
- 46:32Speaker 1: me that cursing in me because there was a mistake,
- 46:34Speaker 1: you know, mistakes happened pal where things go on in
- 46:37Speaker 1: his life. And then you're getting some ant chovies on
- 46:39Speaker 1: your pizza A right many? Okay, So here's the deal.
- 46:42Speaker 1: I don't have a bunch of guests coming to mind

- 46:49Speaker 1: I got an issue with it. I have spent over

- 49:24Speaker 1: want to know who did this to me? Because they're
- 49:26Speaker 1: getting some F bombs. You have a guy that works
- 49:29Speaker 1: for you, he says he works five to close. Andre.

- 49:35Speaker 1: I gotta Drede that works for me. Andred's gonna be
- 49:37Speaker 1: sending some time in a walking freezer. Uh. People don't
- 49:45Speaker 1: need anchovies. Huh. Black people don't need the anto. Baby. Hey,
- 49:50Speaker 1: I gotta ask you this, mister Gino. What is the
- 49:53Speaker 1: baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in the land.
- 49:57Speaker 1: Your show. The baddest radio show in the land is
- 50:02Speaker 1: the Sea Barby Show with the Morning no One. I man,
- 50:11Speaker 1: I'll be sad. I'm going to send yourself pieces. I'm
- 50:12Speaker 1: sending that station dozens of pieces with a double an
- 50:16Speaker 1: trovies on every one of them. I had a meeting
- 50:27Speaker 1: with Terry Kennedy and I had a meeting with Reginald Hutling. Ok.
- 50:33Speaker 1: The movie produced both of them Love and Chovies. We
- 50:38Speaker 1: were at the same table and both of them love
- 50:42Speaker 1: and chovies. I've never met a black person that liked anchovies.
- 50:46Speaker 1: Sat out and had lunch with two people that wanted
- 50:50Speaker 1: and didn't answer. You ain't handing dog because all of
- 50:52Speaker 1: us had ordered to seizear salad. And they got said, mister,
- 50:55Speaker 1: how you want anchovies? I said, no, no, got around
- 50:58Speaker 1: the original. He said, yeah, yeah, I like a boat
- 51:00Speaker 1: with a small bowl. And Terry Kennedy said, I like
- 51:05Speaker 1: the same thing. You were just looking at them like
- 51:08Speaker 1: what I said. Hey, man, did y'all hear what he
- 51:10Speaker 1: asked you? Now? He said, do you want and chovies?
- 51:15Speaker 1: He didn't ask you did he want your bout the
- 51:16Speaker 1: salad boat over. He asked you did you want and choken?
- 51:20Speaker 1: I love anchovies. I said, y'all got to be kidding. Wow,
- 51:25Speaker 1: I got ready tell him. I said, look, it's a
- 51:27Speaker 1: table over there with two white people at it, and
- 51:30Speaker 1: it's a big table. Y'all go sit over there. But
- 51:32Speaker 1: there white people didn't like anchovies. Y'all get y'all ass
- 51:39Speaker 1: back over, go back over there and shoes fourteen fifteen
- 51:46Speaker 1: to sixteen. I mean Kalleen, Texas at the Twice As
- 51:49Speaker 1: Funny Comedy Club Twice As Funny Comedy Club, Lean Texas,
- 51:52Speaker 1: fourteen fifteen sixteen. That's Thursday Friday, said it. That is
- 51:56Speaker 1: Valentine's night, bring your loved one out to come hang
- 51:58Speaker 1: out with the nep you and then't following. I am
- 52:00Speaker 1: in West Palm Beach, Flaid at the Improve That is
- 52:03Speaker 1: February twenty second, twenty third, twenty four, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- 52:07Speaker 1: It gets on sale right nine. No an chokes just
- 52:12Speaker 1: like that? That, No an choke at the comic clip.
- 52:16Speaker 1: No thank you boy. You want to see somebody with
- 52:20Speaker 1: an upset stomach after that. But that is what what
- 52:23Speaker 1: is in Caesar dressing right for your salad. Yeah dress.
- 52:28Speaker 1: Huh yeah, I mean yeah, that's that's the taste. Yeah,
- 52:35Speaker 1: the derivative, because I know, Junior, I need Caesar with
- 52:40Speaker 1: no ass. You got that information? Uh right here in
- 52:44Speaker 1: my head. You act like she cured a disease salad.
- 52:51Speaker 1: It's not that big of a deal. Where were you
- 52:53Speaker 1: got that information at the restaurant. I'm just saying, I'm
- 52:58Speaker 1: I'm never heard of that. Anchovies and season dresses. I
- 53:03Speaker 1: didn't know that was I mean there, yeah, it's something. Yeah, yes,
- 53:07Speaker 1: now we got to stop each season. No, you like dresses,
- 53:11Speaker 1: so it's good in the dress because some places I
- 53:15Speaker 1: always tell you we have anchovies in not dressing. Oh
- 53:18Speaker 1: that's funny. You just can't lay the little funking be
- 53:21Speaker 1: had out there in the open. Why I can see
- 53:24Speaker 1: it with their little gamey ass. That's what you're not
- 53:27Speaker 1: finding do. But this little fun piece of fish, I
- 53:30Speaker 1: don't know where he I don't know where part of
- 53:32Speaker 1: the fish he from. I think it's from fish. I
- 53:34Speaker 1: think anchovies is actually fish, but it's the inner lining
- 53:40Speaker 1: of fish. But really that's what I think antovis is.
- 53:43Speaker 1: I don't really think it's a whole fish. Think it's
- 53:45Speaker 1: fish intest I think now, I just think it's the
- 53:47Speaker 1: end right inside of the booty of the fish that
- 53:50Speaker 1: would be kidding all around the lips. No, these ain't
- 53:53Speaker 1: the guts. This is the lip area of the fish.
- 53:57Speaker 1: But that's any right there. That's what I think of
- 54:00Speaker 1: what I'm gonna put out here. But you like it
- 54:02Speaker 1: on your Caesar dressing. I like it in the dressing
- 54:05Speaker 1: when you grind it up. I can't look at it.
- 54:07Speaker 1: I only want fish. All right, listen, thank you, we're
- 54:11Speaker 1: going We're moving on to the Strawberry Letter coming up next,
- 54:14Speaker 1: subject your online friend is overstepping boundaries. We'll get into
- 54:18Speaker 1: it right after this you're listening to. All right, guys,
- 54:24Speaker 1: it is time now for today's Strawberry Letter. And if
- 54:27Speaker 1: you need advice on relationships, on work, on sex, on dating,
- 54:30Speaker 1: on parenting, and more, please submit your Strawberry Letter to
- 54:34Speaker 1: Steve Harvey FM and click submit Strawberry Letter. We could
- 54:39Speaker 1: be reading your letter live on the air, just like
- 54:41Speaker 1: we're gonna read this one written Now, buckle up and
- 54:45Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it. Call you here. It
- 54:46Speaker 1: is the Strawberry Letter. Subject your online friend is overstepping boundaries.
- 54:52Speaker 1: Here's Stephen Shirley, I need some advice, although this may
- 54:56Speaker 1: not be your area of expertise. I am twenty seven
- 55:01Speaker 1: years old and I met my partner on a nationwide
- 55:04Speaker 1: Facebook group. They have a lot of groups on Facebook,
- 55:07Speaker 1: just so you'll know, they have traveling Facebook groups, a
- 55:10Speaker 1: lot of groups on Facebook. So but that I'm just
- 55:14Speaker 1: telling you because I didn't even know what a Facebook
- 55:16Speaker 1: group was at first. But anyway, because of the online group,
- 55:19Speaker 1: my partner and I have mutual friends across the country.
- 55:23Speaker 1: One friend in particular is trying my patients by blatantly
- 55:28Speaker 1: hitting on my partner in direct messages DMS and leaving
- 55:32Speaker 1: racy comments on my partner's posts. Sometimes my partner's comments
- 55:37Speaker 1: can look a bit flirtatious too. I'm concerned that this
- 55:41Speaker 1: friend is going to try to make a move, and
- 55:43Speaker 1: my partner is very naive, so this is a big problem.
- 55:48Speaker 1: I have told my partner how I feel, and I
- 55:50Speaker 1: basically gave them both an ultimatum to stop communicating. But
- 55:54Speaker 1: my partner says that I'm just overreacting and it's innocent.
- 55:58Speaker 1: Our relationship is good, but in this age of online
- 56:02Speaker 1: dating and quick hookups, this is getting on my last nerve.
- 56:06Speaker 1: I do trust my mate, but I feel like there
- 56:09Speaker 1: is too much going on nowadays, and nobody cares about
- 56:12Speaker 1: being faithful in staying in a monogamous relationship. I don't
- 56:16Speaker 1: want to start a lot of drama. But our relationship
- 56:19Speaker 1: was going great until this other person started being disrespectful.
- 56:23Speaker 1: My partner and the friend are planning to see each
- 56:27Speaker 1: other next weekend at a group function, and there is
- 56:30Speaker 1: no way that I'm going to sit by and let
- 56:33Speaker 1: this friend take what's mind? What should I do? Take
- 56:37Speaker 1: what's mine? What should I do? Can my partner be trusted?
- 56:40Speaker 1: I'm worried. Please help. Well, from the sound of it,
- 56:44Speaker 1: you should be worried, because honestly, this sounds like a
- 56:47Speaker 1: relationship with only one person in it, and that's you.
- 56:50Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, you seem to be the only one
- 56:53Speaker 1: concerned about your feelings. You have told your partner how
- 56:58Speaker 1: you feel and what bothers you and all of that,
- 57:00Speaker 1: But he continues to keep in touch with this guy
- 57:03Speaker 1: who keeps with this other partner who tries to hit
- 57:06Speaker 1: on him. But you say your partner's responses to the
- 57:09Speaker 1: other guy, Uh, looks like he's flirting back with him
- 57:12Speaker 1: with this other partner. Your partner is not taking hmm,
- 57:20Speaker 1: what what you keep saying him? Well, because to me,
- 57:25Speaker 1: this sounds like it's it's two guys. It I could
- 57:28Speaker 1: be wrong, it could be a girl and a guy,
- 57:29Speaker 1: but it sounds like to me because he said partner
- 57:32Speaker 1: and he's not saying him or him or her or her.
- 57:35Speaker 1: So I'm just saying that, So it may not be.
- 57:40Speaker 1: All right, I'll I'll start over. No, no, no, you
- 57:44Speaker 1: think it's two guys. I just heard what you were saying. Yeah,
- 57:47Speaker 1: I think it's I was just trying to get clear.
- 57:50Speaker 1: Yeah you are, but I had to go right. Oh,
- 57:56Speaker 1: go ahead, And as I think it's your guys, it
- 58:01Speaker 1: may not be. But anyway he's flirting back or the
- 58:06Speaker 1: partner is flirting back with your partner. Your partner is
- 58:10Speaker 1: not taking your feeling seriously. And not only that, your
- 58:13Speaker 1: so called partner is planning to see this other person
- 58:18Speaker 1: this weekend. That's such a red flag to me. That's
- 58:21Speaker 1: why if you guys are in a relationship, is he
- 58:23Speaker 1: making plans to see someone else? That's why I say
- 58:26Speaker 1: you're in this relationship. It sounds like to me on
- 58:29Speaker 1: your own, I think you know you say you trust him.
- 58:33Speaker 1: But then at the end you you ask, can your
- 58:35Speaker 1: partner be trusted? Is again, is this really your partner?
- 58:38Speaker 1: The only thing trustworthy about this is that he told
- 58:42Speaker 1: you that he was planning to go on this weekend
- 58:46Speaker 1: with him. Now you know, if you want to consider
- 58:49Speaker 1: that trustworthy, he's because he's still going. So you know,
- 58:52Speaker 1: if you're not going, you don't know what they're going
- 58:54Speaker 1: to do. What should you do? You say, I mean,
- 58:57Speaker 1: I think first you have to understand that you don't
- 58:59Speaker 1: own this guy. You say you're not going this partner,
- 59:03Speaker 1: You say that you're not going to um sit by
- 59:06Speaker 1: and let his friend take what's yours. Well, again, from
- 59:10Speaker 1: his actions, he doesn't seem like or your partner, doesn't
- 59:13Speaker 1: seem like he belongs to you. All right, he's kind
- 59:16Speaker 1: of just out there. You know, he's with you. You
- 59:20Speaker 1: say he's naive, but he's also you know, doing things
- 59:24Speaker 1: with this other partner as well, with this other friend
- 59:26Speaker 1: as well. So I don't think this is a relationship.
- 59:29Speaker 1: You're taking it way more seriously than your partner is. Steve. Steve, Yes,
- 59:38Speaker 1: you're up, you're up going out there. It says I
- 59:46Speaker 1: need some advice. Although this may not be your area
- 59:48Speaker 1: of expertise. Who does say, oh girl got clean because
- 59:53Speaker 1: this show ain't. Now let me just stop by saying this,
- 59:57Speaker 1: Let's just be one hunted chop my expertise in relationships,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: I have found I'm almost effective when I'm discussing what
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: goes on between all the female and the male. That's
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: been my specialty, desk, what my book was about. I
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: always my specialty is empowering women. So I think the
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: opening of this letter is very telling. It says I
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: need some advice, although this may not be your area
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: of expertise. Now. I ken't waiting on Shirley to say
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: she's somewhere in this letter, but she never said Jill
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: said he. And that's where I started asking what, Shirley,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: what it did? I miss some of these letters, And
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: Shirley's absolutely right. It sounds as though these are two
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: men because of the term my partner was a lot
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: or of same sex, because I hear that a lot
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: when same sex relationships are referring to each other as
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: my partner. So, okay, I do the best I can't.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: It's a relationship, okay, But you know I have to
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: be honest because I don't. I don't know the parameters.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know if the parameters are the same.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm ignorant to it, so I don't
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: know how it works. But I'm just gonna say this
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: right here, Uh, Dave, somebody is trying your patience by
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: blatantly hitting on your partner and direct messages and leaving
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: racing comments on your partner the post, Hey partner, I
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: think I think something about the pop off and then
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: what I think? That's what I think. Yeah, these is
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: all dudes right here then probably gonna pop off like
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: quicker you line go, Well, we come back. I'm gonna
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: on the commercial break. I'm gonna go into prayer, come
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: back with my answer, and hope I ain't got much
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: time to give it. We'll have part two of Steve's
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three after the hour. Today's
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: subject your online friend is overstepping boundaries. Your online friend
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: is overstepping boundaries Again. We'll have part two of Steve's
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: response coming up right after this. You're listening to all right,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter, and Steve, we want to
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: hear part two of your response. The subject your online
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: friend is overstepping boundaries. Well, this twenty seven year old
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: person is in a relationship with another person. They're in
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: a Facebook group with some other people, and so since
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: they on this online group, his pardoning in them them
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: have oh Steve Harvey, what spit it out? Uh? Them people?
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: That the people that's in the Facebook group, they have
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: mutual friends. And so one of them is trying your
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: patience by blatantly hitting on his partner or the other
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: person's partner, because they dming them and they leave in
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: racing comments on my partner's post. And sometimes my partner's
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: comments can look a big flirtatious too. There ain't no
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: looking flirtations. It looked flirtatious because it is flirtatious. Now
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: I'm concerned that this friend is gonna try to make
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: a move. And my partner's very naive. So this is
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: a big problem. Ah, So you your partner don't know nothing.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: That's what naive is. Ain't help to the game. Green
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: wet behind the ears, got simlac on their breath, that's
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: what that means. So now this is a big problem.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: You don't told your partner how you feel, and you
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: don't gave you then gave both of them an ultimatum,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: so you to just went on. So where did you
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: do this? Hill? You just went online after Facebook group
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: and hey, hey, you and you keep on him, keep
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: on him. That's what he said. You hear it? Yes,
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: So after you gave him that to stop communicating, your
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: partner came and told you that you just overreacted, that
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: this is innocent. Now, then you say, y'all's relationship is good,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: but in this age of online dating and quick hook comes,
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: this is getting on my last nerve. Then you come
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: back and you say, I do trust my man. Okay, there,
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: what's the letter? You're confusing me? But I feel like
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: there's too much going on nowadays and nobody cares about
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: being faithful in staying in the monogamous relationship. Okay, then
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: you don't trust him, and then maybe y'all's relationship ain't good.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: You said it was, but it ain't. You asked. You
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: gave both of them an ultimatum. Ain't nobody stop? Your
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: partner told you you're overreacted. I don't want to start
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: a lot of drama rama see that? Ain't wait? All right,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: let me just keep it. But our relationship was going great.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: Until this other person started being disrespected. My partner and
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: the friend are planning to see each other next weekend
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: at a group function. Damn well they just they just
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: in your face with it. Your partner and and this
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: online friend Finn to see each other next week. It
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: did function, But there's no way I'm gonna sit back
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: and let this friend take what's mine? What should I do?
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: Whether it sound like it's gonna be asked? With that sound,
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: it sounds like I'm gonna be answering. It's good about
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: to take a whole new function. Dude, you feel to go?
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: You find to go the show and tell this ain't
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: hide and see just hide and go get it. Yes,
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: don't stop, get it, get it. Come on, y'all, let's
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: get with it. It's the monkey show feeling. Get up
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: in here. You know how I feel about monkey man
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: crazy trying to sit down and let this free and
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: take course? Man? What should I do? You know what
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: you gotta do? Dog? When you get to the event.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: You got some star swinging? What ss he walks in
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: the door, Roll your sleeves, turn that corner like you
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: on Jerry Spring taking their rings all, get your rings
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: out the way. If you got shoes on with a
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: too high here, get them off, come around that corner,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: bath foot it and win me on it. Whoop, whoop
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: it not. What you're gonna do is not just like
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: on spring on your partner gonna try to break y'all up? Okay,
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: I show wish I could tape it. I don't know
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: where the group function gonna be, but I can get
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: a camera crew over there. If you just tell me
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: when it is somebody pushing up on my girl, I
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: wouldn't told him not to push up on my girl.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Y'all say this just relationship, right, Yeah, it's a fight.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: Now you're pressing up on mine. I wouldn't ask you
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: not to, and you keep on. So when I see
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: you what I'm supposed to do, well, I guess you
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: have a point there. I just have a discussion if
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: you put it that what discussion I told y'all. I
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: told you top of this damn letter. I didn't like it,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: and I want to stop. You're talking about you being
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: innocent and I'm overreacting, and I ask you all that. Yeah, now,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: y'all are planning to see each other at the group function?
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: His partners doing the most or yeah, busy this function.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: I'm coming in in flat. I'm not wearing this. I'm
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: coming in with flats. I got some doche slippers. I'm
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: gonna just turn this corner and just it is what
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: it is starting, all right, Steve, we gotta get out
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: of here. You can email us your Instagram us, your
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: thoughts on today's Strawberry letter at Steve Harvey. F M.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: It's Steve right there, see you at the function coming
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: up in ten minutes. Our girl from the talk to
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: one of m Le Cheryl Underwood. Right after this. You're listening,
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, put your hands together
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: for Sheryl on the road. Let me tell you something,
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. Listen to me, son, you really know how
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: to make one of them self a videotape when you
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: own somebody's side. What you sent out about the Jesse
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Smalllan was exactly what a lot of people is feeling
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: that we back in this brother, no matter what, godawmn,
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: he didn't deserve this. This is bigotry and racism in America.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: You said it exactly right, Steve Harvey. And you got
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: your angles good too. See I'm not good at the
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: angle that I don't do it, sirless. I don't do
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: it because too much neck in my video. So I
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: don't think gonna take me serious. I don't really know
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: how to do itself. Really I don't either. But you
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: did it good, Steve. You said when we felt and
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: you had an angle that made you look attracted, it
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: was a good video shop, it was it was it
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: made me well, you said he was attracted. It was
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: a track I like the salt and Pepper Beard. Tommy,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: you don't a lot of us rocking that, you know,
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: if I don't shave mine, you know, they'd be like
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: rocking that, Steve. But that we just saying we loved
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: just a smile lad and we were gonna find out
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: get to the bottom of this. Now, wait a minute,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: what's that girl that's what that girl that looked like?
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: What's that girl over at the at the White House?
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: What's the girl that dude? What's her name? Baby? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: Now that I'm called almost because she said God said
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Trump need to be president. She said, God said he's
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: gonna be president. First of all, who you're talking to?
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Because Trump on pastor say he ain't been there in years.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: That's already say his name on the roll, but he
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: didn't show up. Hit pass. Let me tell you how
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: white Bass to get your heart. Wasn't even that Bible study.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: They talk about him so hard, said, last time he
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: was in here, he got married to Malanya. That's last
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: time he was in here. And then let me say,
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: it's so much stuff about to come out on Trump's
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: They got him, they got him, they got it. This
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: is gonna be the best and the worst. Yeah, you
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: will believe when you see it, because they had so
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: much stuff on him already. Gotta building what you gotta
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: build a real case on Trump because he'll slide out
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: of something you don't get, and they want that power
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: by any means necessary, you know what I'm saying. So
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: you really gotta get when you get Trump, you gotta
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: get him, and then get him on the on the
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: state level, because he can pardon himself on the state
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: level anyway. So get him. You know, I'm gonna sit
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: back letting Nest Pelosi just handling, because she handling it already.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: Oh it's cold outside. I would be in Saint Louis.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: I'll be in Saint Louis at Helium, So you know,

- 1:12:29Speaker 1: Y'all need to get over there. They got they got yeah,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: they got the bag. Listen. I got to go pick
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: up that bag in this cold That's right. I got
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: to go get it. So come see me this weekend.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: But get your bring your pets in it, you know
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: what I'm saying. And look out for your neighbors and
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: people that don't have him and everything, you know, because
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: you know, black dogs be chained to a tree. Bring
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: the dogs in the Chicago River froze over. I couldn't
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: believe it that it froze over. Black people so cold
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: blooded they out there when they dress you off, flighting
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: on you the shin listen to me. Oh, we like
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: to mark the passing of James Ingram, one of the
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: greatest singers in the world. That boy can sign he
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: was in when he made y'all gonna be that the
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: good Church record, y'all. MoMA, Yeah, come on, that's the cut,
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: and his younger brother is the boy is switched with

- 1:14:00Speaker 1: might get it tape time. I got to get it
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: cassette tape. I just pushed it. Were all, yeah when

- 1:14:18Speaker 1: press the blade. It's gonna be might get it taped.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: I can't get it off. Steve Harvey, ain't got press
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: the button, Tommy, what press the button? Steve Harvey like
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: grims that dumb that he don't understand global warming is
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: not about warm weather? Is he that dumb? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: is he that? Can I say that? Damn dumb? Can
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: I say that? Is he that damn dumb? You don't understand?
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: That's not about the heat. That's about that's about the
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: polar cat and and now the cold weather is seeping down.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: That's what global warming? Who wait, somebody just asked me, Oh, well,
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: I'm a Republican. I can say that I'm a member
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: of the party. If they stopped cashing my check, maybe
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: I'll stop talking and showing the stuff. But wait, you say, women,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: somebody want to know who I got in the super Bowl,
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: the Big Game. I win either way. I win either
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: way because I prayed for the Rams and the Patriots
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: to get in there, but I didn't want them to
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: win ugly with the helmet. But up against the Saints, man,
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: I don't. I didn't. I didn't like that. That's that's
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: not how you play the game. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: You know, I slept with a lot of football players,
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: telling girl, get it take. Some of them got rings,
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: and some of them didn't know how to go all
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: the way, how to win. I tried my best. I
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: gave all I could, you know, mind, body, soul. So
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: you go out there. You can win. You can win.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: You win. You know it doesn't have a man listen
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: to leave it with football players. You got pad, helmet, jersey,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: No bottom, No that right, Tommy bottom. We got a girl, girl, whatsoever.
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: We gotta get out of here. Thank you so much,
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: Thank you. Kay Jim Hill coming out coming up at
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: the top of the hour, Cheryl Underwood Carlos Carlo's reality Update.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: We'll see you lady. Thank you, Cheryl. You're listening to
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: Let's go Temmy. All right, it's that time. Getting ready.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: She is here. Carlin Farrell with Reality Update. Okay, thank you, nephew. Okay, Crewe,
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: Celebrity Big Brother is off the chain. Let me just
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: say that's crazy. Listen, Junior. So you know Olympian Lolo
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Jones and Tamar Man they were about to fight. They
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: got into it in the Celebrity Big Brother House. So
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: after Lolo called Tamar the B words strong, Yeah, it
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: kind of jumped off. Take a list. What you need
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: to do was halm down. But you need to do
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: was calm down and stopping nightmare right here, because I'm
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: telling you right now, I've always had your back, but
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: I can't take every day I have my back. You
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: don't have to have my back. I'm a big girl.
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: Well then let's right here. I'm right here, I'm right here,
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: I'm right here. Was Lolo was saying that to Tamar
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: world class, I'm right here, man. Lolo was not scared.
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: She was not scared. She was not backing down. So
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: she's saying I am right here because Tamar, you know,
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: she was like she from Baltimore or whatever her. So
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: Lolo was just trying to let her know she wasn't
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: backing down and she wasn't scared. And then towards the
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: end of the arguments, as you know, it went on,
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: Tamar basically say you you got one more time? You
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: know everybody always gives and then exactly, it's Tamar scientists,
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: what kind of chase is that on her head? But
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: she had these futuristics glasses back to the future something
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: I don't know what, but you know what, don't see
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: when you don't really won't know, and everybody get one
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: more Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I see what you're saying.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: Johnny Wallace Sucker punched me in the chest in the
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: eighth grade. I said the same thing, you got one
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: more time. Didn't hurt? Hell yeah, I couldn't bleeve he
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: punched me third p. I didn't say that to fifth
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: classic to get my wind back, I say, you know,
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: hey man, you got one more time. I gave him
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: one more because you know that one right there, that
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: was effective. Yeah yeah, Well, tensions you know, have been
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: building up in uh in the house. You know, this
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: is a game they're trying to win. Two hundred and
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: fifty thousand dollars, So you gotta be real strategical what
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: you're doing. Folks are making alliances with certain different house
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: guests and trying to win head of households or you
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: don't get voted out of the house. So folks are
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: lining on each other trying not to get evicted. So
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: that was some tension between Tamar and Lolo Um. After that,
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: they're still there in the house and they apologize to
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: each other. Yeah, they squashed to be But let me
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: tell you who's playing the game strategically. Kato Kalin. He
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: he still anything what he's in the house. He's a
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: celebrity in the house. Yes, he's on the show and
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: he was had a household recently and Tamar exploded on him.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: They went back and forth and Cato he couldn't reveal
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: to Tamar his plan. So his plan was to get
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: rid of another guy, the Olympic swimmer. You remember Ryan Lochtey, Yeah, right,
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: remember him? He suspended from water. Well he's going back
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: to the Olympics though in twenty twenty in the water
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: right now, did he bade he do all his women
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: in the park. Well, anyway, Cato was trying to come
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: Tamar down because she just can't really reveal your plan
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: to everybody. You know what you're gonna do, who you're
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: gonna get rid of. So the bottom line, they kind
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: of talked Cato and Tamar. At the end of the day,
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: they all had to vote as to who would be
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: out of the house. Cato wanted Ryan out the house
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: his plan work because Ryan's good, he's athletic, So you
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: want the weakest people to stay in the house. You
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: don't want yeah, and athletic up in the house, so
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: they wanted him out. So yeah, Loo is still there.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: I'm still there. But that's that's the mindset that Cato
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: had got what he wants. Ryan was out, and then
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: he let tamark. You know, he had to let her
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: know this was my plan. So you know, she just
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: got to kind of let things happen and not just
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: kind of go off on people to see the big picture,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: or she could be playing everybody too. So you got yes,
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: she is, Yeah, Tamar crazy, but she got everybody watch
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: a celebrity big bro. I even want to watch I've
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: never watched the show before. I even want to watch
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: came out last night. Yeah, Tamar is almost must see TV.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: That to her. My friend says, she's not. She would
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: not watch the show if Tamar wasn't on it. She
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: was on the show, yeah, she's yeah, she's, she's. I
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: wouldn't need that, wouldn't tune in Kada right right. But
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: you know what, Carla, I see why Anthony Scaramucci is gone.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: I see that. Oh no, he didn't fit in at all.
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: He don't even need the money. Yeah, he had to go.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: So I know this is a question, this is wrong,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: but hit me up social media at lips bar, Carla,
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: who do you think would have won the watch? Won
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: the fight? Lolo or Tamar? Baltimore's on taple our call
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: right there. Uh huh, there's lot of lines of Atlanta. Quickly,
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: let me get to it. Baltimore strong, Okay, you think Tamark. Okay,
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: you say, Lolo, let me talk about real housewive seconds.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: It's hard to fight for thirty seconds. Yeah, I'm right here, y'all,
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: still on the right here. I get my attention now,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: to get your attention, I'm right here. Well and back
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: to that. Then, when she said I'm right here, Tamar
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: was saying, you know, like you said, Steve, you got
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: one more time to say that. So Lolo was like, well,
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: I'm right here. So then Tamar was like, well then
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: say it, like save the b work. She did. No,
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: I mean it was kind of like yeah in the
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: first time, Yeah, because you heard me. Yeah. Anyway, we
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: ran out of time, so we'll talk about Real Housewives
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: of Atlanta next time. Time to go. We'll be back
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: at twenty after you're listening. In political news, Kamala Harris
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: is CNN town hall meeting brought in ratings, uh big ratings.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: We don't know if Kamala Harris can bring home the presidency,
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: but she can definitely pull in those ratings, and we
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: hope she can bring in the presidency as well. Okay
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: the senator from California. CNN town hall brought in almost
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: two million viewers Steve two million. That was seventy five
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: percent more than the network's four week ten PM average,
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: and the one point ninety five million people were the
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: largest That was the largest for a single candidate town
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: hall in CNN history. Baby girl, Girl, Okay, all right,
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: Madam President. The event also drew in more young viewers,
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: an average of one hundred and eighty six thousand adults
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: under thirty five. That's great. Yeah, you know, it's very
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: smart of her to get out front because she's the
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: only one right now. Nobody else has committed, so she
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: has front and center stage. She's on all the interview
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: She's all we're hearing from the other people. I just
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: don't I don't know. I've seen some of the other
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: candidates just talking about it. I like the guy to
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: send Anto o'neou the Texas. Yeah here twins? Well what
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: his brother, dude? Because I because when you vote for twins,
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: go for somebody got twin. You vote for two people. Yeah,
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: because it's crazy do something. Everybody gonna thinks you ain't
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: you about twins? Yeah, you got to watch them twins?
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: You know. But like I said, you know, I've looked
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: at a couple of people, So I've looked at the
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: women that's running in Some of them are I like
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: a camel. If if Elizabeth Warren wants to win it,
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: she's gonna have to take another approach because she's like
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: close to Hillary. Hillary talking about she might go again,
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: but that wouldn't be She won the election by popular vote.
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: They just didn't take care of the electrical Excuse me,
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: ain't pay the bill. We're just sitting up the dog
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: cause of your stupid ass. The Starbucks a smart right, Yeah,
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: but he's a third party. Did you know what Donald
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: Trump said about him? What did he say? Trump saying
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: he's not gonna run he's a coward? Wow? Does it? Wow? Wow?
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: Should sound bite? That's what the guy told me. He
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: said he pay his rent with Yeah, I always just
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: go low and just yeah. He makes it all about him.
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: He makes it all about him all the time. Yeah,
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: right there, franchised out. Yeah all right. Well, uh this Saturday, Steve,
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: we have to tell everybody that you will host the
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: NFL Honors at the Fox Theater and Atlanta. It starts
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: getting serious today because today is rehearsal. Uh huh. So
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: I'm rehearsal on Thursday instead of Friday because after I
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: finished rehearsal tonight, I have to go to Miami for
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: the Grand cardone times ten confidence speaking in front of
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: thirty five thousand tomorrow Friday night. All right, Jesus coming.
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: Then I come back on Friday night, Get up Saturday morning,
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: go do the wo'll run through for the Honors. I'm
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: working on my monologue. Okay, I haven't had a chance
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: to do it. I got a guy to help me.
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: All right, Well, you'll be doing that. It will be
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: televised on CBS at nine pm Eastern on Saturday. More
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up right after this.
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: You're listening to show life threatening cold grips much of
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: the US. The Chicago River is frozen. Whoever thought that
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: would happen in a long time now, Yeah, meteorologists are
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: saying this is the coldest air in a generation. There's
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: a state of emergency which has been declared in Illinois,
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: in Michigan, and in Wisconsin. Please be safe out there
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: and listen to your city officials as to when it
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: is safe to be outside. Okay, because it is not safe.
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: It is not safe. Also in today's entertainment news, cops
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: investigating the Jesse Smollett attacks say they finally have a
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: lead from the surveillance video, but they are gonna need
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: to some help from the public. They're gonna have to
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: hear from the public to help locate the persons of interest.
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: Chicago PD say detectives were unable to find the camera
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: angle that revealed the persons of interests that are one
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: for questioning in the assault and battery. But they are
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: and they're careful not to call the people's suspects in
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: the case just yet, but police have released the images
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: of the persons of interest Jesse. Jesse, of course, says
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: two men and ski masks jumped him, beat him up,
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: dust him with bleach, and left him with a rope
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: around his neck before fleeing. He says, they yelled Maga
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: country as they got away. Wow. Yeah, this is still,
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: you know, one of the biggest stories out there, and
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: it is you know, everyone in entertainment has ad in
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: on the situation as well. I think even Nancy Pelosi
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: um really texted something, Yeah, it's it's gotten about the president.
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, yeah, yeah, let me check the
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: Twitter time like that's on the way he communicates with Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: He just can't say it. He goes months without a
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: check last night. But you know what, they're going to
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: find these people because they're gonna stay on it. Because
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: there is all camera everywhere in the downtown area of Chicago.
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: It's not hard to find two guys show up on
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: one of these cameras going in the area or vicinity
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: with the same clothes on. When they go in same
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: clothes on when they come out. That's that's all. And
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: then we got to do some research. We're gonna do
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: some other camera. They're gonna do some other stuff, but
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: they're gonna find Yeah, they're gonna have to how's Jesse
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: Jesse doing. Uh, he's recuperating. He's out of the hospital. Good. Yeah, yeah, Steve.
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: They had your video on TMZ talking about it. They
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: talked about Terrence Howard, you know Jesse's co stars, to
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: Roger p Henson, like you said, all the celebrities, everybody
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: for they asked one. You know, man, I I posted.
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: I didn't think that much of it because you know,
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: I had read Bishop Jake's response and I've seen a
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: couple of videos and that's that's not the way I am.
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: And so I just did the one I did, and
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: it went kind of crazy, man, because I can't tell
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: you that the people of them contact me about it,
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: you know, yeah, wanting to make it a story. I
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: don't want to make it a story because it ain't
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: about me. He's just such a likable guy. You know,
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: everybody in Hollywood and even politicians, they really like him.
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: He's an activist, you know, and he stands up for
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: what he believes. And yeah he's a cool guy, a
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: smart guy, you know. Yeah. Yeah, his whole family, the
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: small let their showbiz family journey. His sister you know,
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: she's also in the business. So yeah, anyway, we will
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: definitely be keeping our eye on this story and keeping
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: you posted. Coming up it is Steve Harvey and his
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: closing remarks as we get to our last break of
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: the day. We'll be back. You're listening, all right, Steve.
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: Here we are last break of the day. We've had
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: a good day, Thank the good Lord, and take us
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: out with some great closing remarks as you always do
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: well these remarks. Um again is in the vein of encouragement.
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: I want everybody who's interested in becoming successful or more successful,
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: anybody who's interested in becoming happy for the first time
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: or becoming happier than you are. I have a couple
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: of points for you that can be very helpful. Point
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: number one, align yourself with like minded people. You know,
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: I want you to understand something. They do exist. They
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: do exist. People who think like you exist. Now you
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: may have to move out of your current circle of
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: friends to find them. Fine, but do yourself a favor
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: this year. Align yourself with like minded people. Find someone
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: man you. They got groups for everything, or we talked about,
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: got Facebook groups for everything. They got all types of you.
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: Everyone to Fire has a song that says, gonna find
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: a few to always walk with you. Many people claim
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: don't always bleed to say, listen to me. You can
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: find somebody who thinks the way you do. So that's
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: the first thing I want you to do. Align yourself
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: with like minded people. The next thing I want you
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: to do to really really help yourself out, get committed.
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: Get committed, y'all. It was a funny thing. You mind
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: if I share this story? Uh uh? This morning Junior
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: came in and he was a little late for our
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: writers meeting, and Junior had on baseball hattan, you know,
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: sweatshirt and slaxon. Junior looked like he got ran over.
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: And I said, Junior, you are right, and he said, yeah, yeah,
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: I don't confined man made it in. Sorry about that.
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: I'm a little lady. Wasn't that late, But you know,
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: he apologized being late and everything, and I was looking
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: at me, just wasn't his self. Eyes was half masks
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: and had that baseball head on your street he said, man, Uncle,
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: struggling man. He said, Man, I don't know how you
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: do it. He said, I don't know how you do it.
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: And I had to give Junior a talk. I said,
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: you know what, Junior, because I have a job where
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: I can't call in on I don't have an option
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: of not showing up. I can't be late. I have
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: to show up and I have to be on point.
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: Because the job I have, I have no option. I'm
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: either on radio, I'm on TV, I'm on set, I'm
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: on camera, I'm on Mike, I'm on somewhere. So I
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: can't afford it. So I said, Junior, you know what
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: I do. I come in here and I bring the
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: best me to work that I can possibly be. I don't.
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: I try not to let people see me in a
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: dismal state, because so many people are looking to me
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: for inspiration, and so many people are counting on me
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: to have a good day so they can keep working.
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: So if I have a good day, everybody else can
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: have a good day. If the person at the top
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: is having a bad day, it trickles down. And as
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: I talked to Junior, I went on and got dressed
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: for the show. I got in the barber chair. Damn
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: my thing. I looked up at lunch break and Junior
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: came into my dressing room. He had went back home.
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: He put on a suit or tie. He straightened up.
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: He came in. He was bright. He was shocked. I said, Junior,
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: what's up? He said, after talking to you, I went
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: home and started over. He said, I just started over. Man.
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: He said, you told me something that you can't let
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: him see you in a dismal state, that you you
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: got to practice being ready. You got to be on
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: ready set just in case they say go. He changed
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: his clothes and came back. He looked like and you know,
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: he said, I'm back. I'm back, man, Junior back, and
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: he was happy. And he walked around and set all
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: day just like that. And Junior's energy has an energy
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: that's contagious, Like he's such a person that brings such
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: a light into a room. People like seeing him come around.
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: You got people like that who you love to see
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: come around because they light. They bring a jovial this
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: to the room, or a lighthearted that's gotta make everybody
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: feel good. Rather be that person, I don't whatever want
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: to be the person where when I walk in the room.
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: Oh hell, he come, what's wrong now? Just like a
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: black cloud followed me in the room? Not gonna be that.
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: You can be the best you. But you gotta get committed, man,
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: You gotta you gotta get committed to being a better you.
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: You gotta make a conscious decision that this year you're
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: gonna be a better you. But guess what. That decision
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: is totally up to you. It's completely yours. Ain't nobody
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: not allowing you to be a better you. There's some people,
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: there's some things are gonna come up, throw on some roadblocks,
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: but nobody can stop you from bettering yourself. If you
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: decide that you're gonna smile more today, no matter what happens,
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: guess what, you can get the grinted. If you decide
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: today that you're gonna meet more people today, you can
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: start shaking hands. The decision is yours, y'all. But those
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: two things, if you align yourself with like minded people,
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: and if you get committed, be committed to being a
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: better you, start with simple stuff. Man, I might have
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: a better attitude this year. I might have a better
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: attitude every day. I'm not gonna come to work with
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: no silur look on my face. Be a better you.
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: It'll carry over into every aspect of your life. If
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: you start your day off being the best you you
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: can be, it'll carry over every aspect of your life.
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: And if you become a better you, you're gonna have
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: a better life. That's the real deal. That's it. Keep
