- 0:13Speaker 1: them just like theming bus things and it's not true.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Good start, don't join jo. You gotta turn out. You
- 1:24Speaker 1: gotta turn to turn them out. Got to turn out
- 1:45Speaker 1: to turn turn the water the water. Come, come on
- 1:59Speaker 1: your thing, I show will people? Aren't everybody you are
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice? Come on now, dig me or
- 2:08Speaker 1: one It only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Thank
- 2:12Speaker 1: God for it all the time. Too. Well, here we
- 2:15Speaker 1: go today. I want to share something with you that
- 2:19Speaker 1: I'll help you because it's helped me. You know. I
- 2:23Speaker 1: was telling the story once that this magazine called Rob Reporting,
- 2:31Speaker 1: that that was the statue I used to see for years.
- 2:33Speaker 1: I started buying Rob Reporting magazines years ago. So I
- 2:40Speaker 1: just wanted to see what a fluent people did, you know,
- 2:42Speaker 1: just wanted to see what people with means did, what
- 2:46Speaker 1: type of investments they did, what they bought, you know,
- 2:49Speaker 1: what they traveled to. Rob Reports just like, oh, it's
- 2:53Speaker 1: like a big boy toy magazine. You can see what
- 2:57Speaker 1: cars is out here. I didn't have money for none
- 2:59Speaker 1: of it. Just I was dreaming, though, you know, I
- 3:01Speaker 1: just wanted to see. And there's a statue inside this
- 3:07Speaker 1: magazine of this man who was coming out of this
- 3:11Speaker 1: bronze rock. And he was completely bronze, and he was muscular,
- 3:16Speaker 1: and you know, he didn't look nothing like me, but
- 3:19Speaker 1: he was a man coming up out of a rock.
- 3:21Speaker 1: And he had a huge hammer and a chisel in
- 3:24Speaker 1: his hand. And as his body from the waist up
- 3:28Speaker 1: was coming out of this huge piece of stone, you
- 3:30Speaker 1: could see where it was him who had been chiseling
- 3:33Speaker 1: and forming himself. So the name of the statue was
- 3:36Speaker 1: self made man. And for years man, I said, Man,
- 3:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna get a big house one day, and I'm
- 3:42Speaker 1: gonna put that statue in the backyard in the corner.
- 3:45Speaker 1: That's gonna be my little spot where I go chill,
- 3:49Speaker 1: because I'm a self made man. Well, after years of
- 3:53Speaker 1: working at becoming somebody and having reached a degree of success,
- 4:03Speaker 1: I would have nothing to do with that statue. There's
- 4:07Speaker 1: nothing about that statue that appeals to me anymore. Because
- 4:11Speaker 1: on my journey and in my quest to become what
- 4:14Speaker 1: I thought would be this self made man, why I
- 4:18Speaker 1: could put this statue and had a statue in the
- 4:20Speaker 1: corner be kind of cold, symbolizing it. I had made it.
- 4:24Speaker 1: I realized on my journey there's no such thing as
- 4:28Speaker 1: a self made man. That we all need help, and
- 4:31Speaker 1: that God places people in our paths along the way
- 4:37Speaker 1: that benefit us oftentimes. And it's the most unlikely person oftentimes,
- 4:42Speaker 1: And it's the most unlikely way that He presents these
- 4:46Speaker 1: people in front of you. It's crazy how he does it. Man.
- 4:49Speaker 1: And so this is a statue now that I look
- 4:52Speaker 1: at and I go, I see what the creator was saying.
- 4:55Speaker 1: And that's cool, but not not for me, because I
- 5:00Speaker 1: I needed help and I've learned a lot of things
- 5:03Speaker 1: like this along the way. And the part I wanted
- 5:07Speaker 1: to share with you all about this is you've got
- 5:09Speaker 1: to develop You've got to develop a sense of purpose.
- 5:15Speaker 1: You have to develop a sense of purpose. That's different. See,
- 5:20Speaker 1: your purpose is created for you by God because when
- 5:28Speaker 1: He created you as an individual from whatever two parents
- 5:31Speaker 1: you may have, that's not important here. When he created you,
- 5:36Speaker 1: he had something in mind for you, and it was
- 5:40Speaker 1: a purpose. God has not created a single soul to
- 5:43Speaker 1: become a criminal. God has never created a single soul
- 5:48Speaker 1: to be a drug dealer. This came about through some
- 5:51Speaker 1: decisions we made as sinners, and we stayed in that place.
- 5:57Speaker 1: But see what he created us. He has a wonderful
- 6:02Speaker 1: idea for us. But God gives us human beings this
- 6:05Speaker 1: thing called choice, and we have the power to decide.
- 6:08Speaker 1: So you can decide if you're going to adhere to
- 6:11Speaker 1: the purpose that God created you and made you for,
- 6:14Speaker 1: or you can go ahead and make some choices on
- 6:17Speaker 1: your own. So like, if God wanted to give your
- 6:20Speaker 1: life and give it to come to you and give
- 6:22Speaker 1: you life more abundantly, and that's his promise if you
- 6:25Speaker 1: come to him, if you choose him, then cool. But
- 6:29Speaker 1: if you say, well this ain't moving along fast enough,
- 6:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna get my own life of abundance, I'm gonna
- 6:34Speaker 1: start slinging. Well, guess what now, Tad. You've made a decision.
- 6:40Speaker 1: And see God's decisions and choices. The one thing I
- 6:43Speaker 1: learned about him, God's decisions, choices, his voice, it has
- 6:47Speaker 1: no sin in it. And it amazing how many people
- 6:50Speaker 1: it came up to you and say, the Lord wanted
- 6:52Speaker 1: me to do this to you, and I'm doing it.
- 6:54Speaker 1: That God is punishing you and I'm doing this to
- 6:56Speaker 1: you because God gonna see that you get your day.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Who is this person? Who is this person that God
- 7:04Speaker 1: all of a sudden gave this authority and power to God?
- 7:06Speaker 1: I didn't get at the nobody, man, nobody, this person
- 7:10Speaker 1: don't had a right to hold you to your past,
- 7:13Speaker 1: the right to make you pay. So who makes them
- 7:17Speaker 1: pay when they make mistakes? Because they all make them.
- 7:20Speaker 1: So when I say you have to have a sense
- 7:22Speaker 1: of you have to develop a strong sense of purpose.
- 7:25Speaker 1: That means you have to strongly get in touch with
- 7:28Speaker 1: your creator to find out what the purpose you were
- 7:30Speaker 1: created for. See, it's two things that I had to
- 7:34Speaker 1: learn along the way. My career was what I was
- 7:38Speaker 1: paid for. My calling is what I was made for. See,
- 7:43Speaker 1: it's two different things, folks. It took me a long
- 7:47Speaker 1: time to learn it. Some people think that they calling
- 7:51Speaker 1: is to be a performer. Well, that's what you paid for,
- 7:54Speaker 1: and a big part of your life is your performance
- 7:57Speaker 1: is tied directly to your gift. But what you made for, though,
- 8:02Speaker 1: what you made for is to bring about some significant
- 8:05Speaker 1: change in another human being's lives because we are all
- 8:09Speaker 1: linked together in this chain. That's what you are here for.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Everybody has a purpose to do something wonderful, meaningful, or
- 8:18Speaker 1: impactful for another person. You think the guy that invented
- 8:22Speaker 1: the airplane was merely inventing the airplane so he could fly. No,
- 8:28Speaker 1: his purpose was to become an inventor, to come up
- 8:31Speaker 1: with this invention so he could fly and we all fly. See.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Sometimes God will make you successful so you can become
- 8:39Speaker 1: successful so you can turn around and teach other people
- 8:42Speaker 1: how to become successful. God save people, so you can
- 8:45Speaker 1: turn around it tell other people how wonderful it is
- 8:48Speaker 1: to be saved. You see how this thing work. That's
- 8:52Speaker 1: what we have to do as people. And it's nothing
- 8:55Speaker 1: that we have to go and discover. We have to
- 8:57Speaker 1: go and develop it. But if you haven't discovered your purpose,
- 9:00Speaker 1: it's simply because here is it. If you haven't discovered
- 9:04Speaker 1: your purpose is simply because you have not contacted the
- 9:10Speaker 1: creator and maker of your soul to ask and find
- 9:15Speaker 1: out why you were created. It's as simple as that.
- 9:23Speaker 1: If you buy a toyota, there's an owner's manual on
- 9:27Speaker 1: the inside that will tell you everything you know how
- 9:32Speaker 1: to best operate your toyota, how to make it work,
- 9:35Speaker 1: how what to do They got a troubleshooting section. Your
- 9:39Speaker 1: faith is the same thing as an owner's manual in
- 9:43Speaker 1: your car. Open up that book, man, find out how
- 9:47Speaker 1: to jumpstart your life, how to troubleshoot it and get
- 9:51Speaker 1: on with your life, and find out your purpose and
- 9:53Speaker 1: develop a strong sense of purpose. All right, okay, you're
- 9:57Speaker 1: listening to show. All right, everybody, get up, Get up,
- 10:04Speaker 1: get up. It is time for the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:07Speaker 1: We're gonna hold it down and give it to you
- 10:08Speaker 1: like you've been getting it every day this week. It's
- 10:12Speaker 1: that rad Is that wrong? Shirley strawbready, welcome back, Welcome
- 10:15Speaker 1: back you shooting miss, shooting miss. This is the first

- 10:28Speaker 1: thank you, thank you. Out shouts out to all the
- 10:30Speaker 1: people who work outside. Ain't that right? Calling for rell? Absolutely,
- 10:35Speaker 1: it's hot, our faire shout out, very hot people working
- 10:39Speaker 1: outside for sure. Stay hydrated, that's it, stay hydrated to
- 10:44Speaker 1: get a big ass had. Last, but not least, he
- 10:47Speaker 1: is the King of pranks. The oh no, the king,
- 10:49Speaker 1: not the King, the King of pranks. Y'all give it
- 10:53Speaker 1: up for the nephew of Timmy. What's up, Timmy? The
- 10:55Speaker 1: nephew of tilling the top top everybody, good morning, Good morning, Shirley,

- 11:08Speaker 1: up a weekend like that. Damn Monday. Nothing nothing. Man,
- 11:12Speaker 1: you're rolling, you're rolling, and then hit him Monday. Oh
- 11:16Speaker 1: my god. But you know that's why Tommy doesn't like Fridays. Yeah,
- 11:21Speaker 1: you don't like Fridays. Way, don't like Friday's time. It's
- 11:23Speaker 1: too close to see what I'm saying. Ain't nothing like
- 11:28Speaker 1: a cool Thursday, Thursday the ball and then Monday you go, Damn,
- 11:32Speaker 1: it's Monday again. It was just Monday, last Monday, Monday,
- 11:39Speaker 1: last Monday, like thank God, we's all up and we's working,
- 11:44Speaker 1: thank God. And then we didn't go to church yesterday.
- 11:50Speaker 1: That countsl's church, that little bit right there, because the
- 11:53Speaker 1: Bible says we're three or more are gathered, and what huh?
- 11:57Speaker 1: That service? We just had service? A man pass three
- 12:06Speaker 1: or more gathered. That's what the battle said. Throw that
- 12:09Speaker 1: on a Christian and see what they say. I think
- 12:13Speaker 1: he just did. Not to mention, we have millions of listeners,
- 12:20Speaker 1: so we can have some church. Yeah, we have church here, yes, yea.
- 12:24Speaker 1: And thank you for those millions of listeners too. Yeah,
- 12:28Speaker 1: I missed church. I missed going to physical church because
- 12:31Speaker 1: Zoom Church just wasn't the same. It's just you know,
- 12:34Speaker 1: I mean, you watched it, but it's not the same.
- 12:36Speaker 1: I'll be glad we can't get back in the church.
- 12:38Speaker 1: You know what I mean. Ain't doing opening up? You
- 12:42Speaker 1: ain't back. Yeah, they're back, they're back, my sister said.
- 12:47Speaker 1: My sister said, they're taking temperatures at the door in
- 12:50Speaker 1: her church and see the people. You know, they only
- 12:53Speaker 1: got seven members. So I'm just joking. It's a joke.
- 12:55Speaker 1: It's a says, it's a joke. They got more than
- 13:00Speaker 1: they got twelve. Dam just isn't the angry usher the temperature.
- 13:07Speaker 1: I'm always angry up here? Down? Move down, I want
- 13:14Speaker 1: to sit right, Move down. They will take that hand
- 13:19Speaker 1: seat from you, and you can't sit next to your friends. Down,
- 13:25Speaker 1: Please just slide down, all right? All right? So now
- 13:30Speaker 1: you know we've said we've set the tone for the
- 13:32Speaker 1: show this morning. We'll be here all morning, uh and
- 13:36Speaker 1: coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, ask
- 13:39Speaker 1: Bitterer man right after this you're listening to Steve Harvey
- 13:47Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, it is time for ask bitter man. Guys.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Uh and you know what that means. And I'll just
- 13:55Speaker 1: let ye get good as first day Steve's not here.
- 14:02Speaker 1: I am definitely not trying to help you at all.
- 14:05Speaker 1: If you get something out of this, it's because you
- 14:08Speaker 1: got something. I didn't try to give you anything owning.
- 14:18Speaker 1: If you get something, it's part of your own doing.
- 14:23Speaker 1: All right, here we go, better man. This one is
- 14:26Speaker 1: from Sharise in Colorado. All right, Sharie writes, I'm twenty
- 14:30Speaker 1: nine and I gave my husband a black eye, so
- 14:33Speaker 1: we're not speaking. I broiled three steaks Sunday, one for
- 14:37Speaker 1: each of us for dinner, and the third one was
- 14:40Speaker 1: for my lunch. During the week, I made a huge
- 14:43Speaker 1: salad and I wanted to have steak tips on my salad.
- 14:47Speaker 1: My husband ate the third steak, and on Monday morning
- 14:49Speaker 1: I got up ready to make my lunch, he laughed
- 14:52Speaker 1: about it. So I threw a boiled egg and it
- 14:54Speaker 1: hit him in the eye. I didn't mean to hurt him,
- 14:57Speaker 1: but he thinks I owe him an apology, which one
- 15:00Speaker 1: of us is wrong in this situation. Well, you are
- 15:03Speaker 1: definitely wrong for not labeling not not not the egg
- 15:07Speaker 1: and now I not labeling them steaks. That's what you
- 15:10Speaker 1: should have done. If you don't. If you don't label something,
- 15:13Speaker 1: it's free for all. In the refrigerator, there's no name
- 15:16Speaker 1: on it. There's no name on it. It doesn't say
- 15:19Speaker 1: my steak for later. So he had every right to
- 15:23Speaker 1: eat that damn steak. Now he's selfish that he didn't
- 15:26Speaker 1: eat half of it, and lead you have. But the
- 15:29Speaker 1: man was hungry, so he eat the bold, damn steak.
- 15:33Speaker 1: And you know place refrigerator, okay, surely in the household.
- 15:38Speaker 1: If it's not labeled, it's in it bad. How is
- 15:46Speaker 1: the man's eye? She didn't mean to hit him, but
- 15:57Speaker 1: you know some some people have a rule in refrigerator
- 15:59Speaker 1: if you didn't put it in there, and then it
- 16:01Speaker 1: ain't yours. But you know, she didn't say it was hers.
- 16:04Speaker 1: So he made She said I made three steaks, that's
- 16:07Speaker 1: what she said. And she told him, baby, I made
- 16:10Speaker 1: three steaks. She sat down way eight two, which meant
- 16:13Speaker 1: to him, damn it. There's another one in the fridge,
- 16:16Speaker 1: and he ate it. That's a simple I'm with you
- 16:19Speaker 1: when you're right jay. I think they owe each other
- 16:21Speaker 1: and I think they each other apology. Right, all right,
- 16:26Speaker 1: here we go. Which would you rather be? Full of
- 16:28Speaker 1: steak or egg? In the ad? Which one would you
- 16:30Speaker 1: rather have? All? Right? Here we go. We're moving on
- 16:35Speaker 1: joy and Gulfport, Mississippi, says My husband and I have
- 16:39Speaker 1: been living in the same neighborhood for over twenty years,
- 16:41Speaker 1: and it's changed a lot. We have new neighbors that
- 16:44Speaker 1: have three teenage children and they sit on the front
- 16:47Speaker 1: porch listening to loud music, smoking weed and cursing. Late
- 16:51Speaker 1: at night, I talked to the lady of the house
- 16:53Speaker 1: and told her we can see here and smell what
- 16:57Speaker 1: her children are up to. She called me a black
- 17:00Speaker 1: aaron and told me to mind my business. Should I
- 17:03Speaker 1: report it to the homeowners association? Come on, man, you
- 17:07Speaker 1: should report that to the homeowners association. But first of all,
- 17:10Speaker 1: you should sample what they got before you, before you before,
- 17:18Speaker 1: before you go over there complaining that might be some
- 17:21Speaker 1: good stuff that you could be turned down too. And
- 17:25Speaker 1: then y'all be really good neighbors. You buying bag, and
- 17:28Speaker 1: then she buy a bag, and then you buy a bag,
- 17:30Speaker 1: and then she buy a bag. So before you report
- 17:33Speaker 1: it to the homeowners association. Lisen, let me see what
- 17:36Speaker 1: you're smoking over the Let me see. You know it's
- 17:39Speaker 1: coming my way, so roll me one of those and
- 17:41Speaker 1: let me see. Let me be the judge of what
- 17:44Speaker 1: you got oday. That's you are not trying to help
- 17:47Speaker 1: man at least smoking in the backyard, not the yeah man.
- 17:56Speaker 1: All right, here we go, moving on TB and Orlando says, I,
- 18:00Speaker 1: I'm a forty four year old divorced man and I
- 18:02Speaker 1: do not want to get remarried, and I'm very old.
- 18:04Speaker 1: This is Taylor made for you, Jay. I do not
- 18:07Speaker 1: want to get married, and I'm very honest with the
- 18:10Speaker 1: women I date. I had a date over at my
- 18:12Speaker 1: house recently and she kept saying she can tell that
- 18:14Speaker 1: I need a woman's touch around my house, and she's
- 18:17Speaker 1: going to make me change my mind about marriage. The
- 18:20Speaker 1: sex was mediocre, so I won't date her again. I
- 18:24Speaker 1: know I would cheat if I got remarried. When I'm older,
- 18:27Speaker 1: will I regret my choice to stay single? Bitter man?
- 18:31Speaker 1: Oh lord, First of all, First of all, player, you
- 18:34Speaker 1: have no business writing us about mediocre sex at all.
- 18:38Speaker 1: This You keep this to your damn self. If the sex,
- 18:42Speaker 1: if the sex was just in then you know, move on?
- 18:46Speaker 1: Do you find what you're really looking for? But you
- 18:48Speaker 1: already said in your letter that the sex was what
- 18:58Speaker 1: that sounds? Tell me had a sound? Yeah, it will go.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Now here's the other thing about mediocre sex. It will
- 19:12Speaker 1: always ask you, so what you think? Huh? How was that? Huh?
- 19:18Speaker 1: Is that what you've been waiting on? Well? That back
- 19:21Speaker 1: the question Jay does mediocre? No, it's mediocre. No, it
- 19:25Speaker 1: don't know, it has no No, I don't know. It
- 19:27Speaker 1: don't know. Boy, So Jay TV says, when I'm older,
- 19:37Speaker 1: will I regret my choice to say mistake? No? You
- 19:41Speaker 1: never regret sorry sex. You don't even think about something. No,
- 19:45Speaker 1: you that moves on. You put that way in and
- 19:48Speaker 1: back back, back, back back of your mind and you
- 19:51Speaker 1: don't think about it, and you can be fine with
- 19:53Speaker 1: sorry sex. Ask me how I know? Ask me go
- 19:57Speaker 1: ahead and ask how do you? Man? I know? I
- 20:03Speaker 1: just know you ever look at someone that I thought
- 20:08Speaker 1: it was gonna be way better than that, But it
- 20:11Speaker 1: wasn't to yourself, to yourself, yourself. Let's lose that. Here's
- 20:25Speaker 1: the one here's the one time me. Oh, I got
- 20:28Speaker 1: to do that thing. I totally forgot about that. Listen,
- 20:36Speaker 1: it's been real the sound of mediocre boy boy. All right,
- 20:46Speaker 1: all right, guys. Coming up next, we'll have church complaints
- 20:52Speaker 1: and announcements from Reverend Adnoid and Deacon death Jam. Right,
- 20:57Speaker 1: you're listening. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 21:02Speaker 1: Missiana standing by with today's national news and an entertainment
- 21:06Speaker 1: news Kevin Hurt crashed Usher's residency show in Las Vegas,
- 21:11Speaker 1: so God yes. Plus in entertainment news, Beyonce runs the
- 21:17Speaker 1: Video World. We'll talk about all of these stories at
- 21:20Speaker 1: the top of the hour. But right now it is Monday,
- 21:22Speaker 1: and you know what that means. It's time for church
- 21:24Speaker 1: complaints and announcements. Will have some announcement with Reverend Adnoid
- 21:30Speaker 1: and Deacon Deaf jam years this first of all, this
- 21:35Speaker 1: is the j p j J. That's the jack Pot
- 21:37Speaker 1: Joint of Jerusalem Ching ching, very nice, hallelujah. So I
- 21:47Speaker 1: will have your complaints and as well Adnoid will have
- 21:50Speaker 1: your announcements that we will let you know what's going
- 21:54Speaker 1: on with us in the community one more time. Because
- 21:57Speaker 1: some people being really yeah, you'll do announcements. I am
- 22:01Speaker 1: doing church complaints late. There's a difference twinks to two.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Can I just say we know the difference between announcements
- 22:09Speaker 1: and complaints? Okay, how confused testing around and be a
- 22:14Speaker 1: complaint themselves to have to watch out on church probation
- 22:21Speaker 1: because we could be done. You could be excommunicated from
- 22:26Speaker 1: this church. You definitely can't. All right, here's a situation
- 22:31Speaker 1: to choir. They trying to save money. So if they
- 22:34Speaker 1: want to wash, they acquire roads in the baptismal pool.
- 22:38Speaker 1: So we're gonna good. Let them wash them in there,
- 22:41Speaker 1: hang them out like that. I like that's a good
- 22:44Speaker 1: way to save money. You just subjective bleach in there,
- 22:48Speaker 1: get a stick, nix it all up, and you know what,
- 22:52Speaker 1: if we're just using it for baptism, why there's other
- 22:55Speaker 1: uses we could use that like that? I like that
- 22:59Speaker 1: a lot. Blue go ahead that there we go the
- 23:01Speaker 1: church enough. The gospel group Old l LW better known
- 23:07Speaker 1: as Old Ladies with Whiskers, will be having their listening

- 23:20Speaker 1: called Jesus won't be on the main line if you
- 23:24Speaker 1: don't pay the bill. It's a great song, so you
- 23:27Speaker 1: will not be on the main land. You don't pay
- 23:32Speaker 1: the bill. Jesus won't be on the I say a
- 23:36Speaker 1: little bit of it. He won't be on the main
- 23:38Speaker 1: Learn you do appear to be already. It's a great song.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Go right ahead and right ahead, alright, alright, alright, moving
- 23:46Speaker 1: along back to the baptismal eye pool. If you have
- 23:50Speaker 1: not had your COVID shot, Pastor suggest that you come
- 23:54Speaker 1: to church and baptize yourself. All right. Pastor wants you
- 24:00Speaker 1: to jump in the pool three times, all right, three times,
- 24:04Speaker 1: and on that third time when you come up, you
- 24:07Speaker 1: are you are saved and washed it in the Yeah,
- 24:11Speaker 1: in the name of Jesus and the name of Jesus
- 24:13Speaker 1: three times, three times, right, Yeah. I like that a lot.
- 24:20Speaker 1: And we're growing by weight because the heavier it will
- 24:23Speaker 1: drain the pool, so we're gonna start light and didn't
- 24:25Speaker 1: build up. I like that a lot. I like that right.
- 24:31Speaker 1: If you're keeping up with the Church Olympics. Over the weekend,

- 26:14Speaker 1: space turner in its back on. All right. It's great.
- 26:17Speaker 1: I like that because you know, last time we had
- 26:19Speaker 1: that tournament, there was some fights that broke off, broke out,

- 33:45Speaker 1: getting vaccinated. Nevertheless, authorities say that the number of people
- 33:49Speaker 1: getting the shot has been increasing a bit as new

- 36:48Speaker 1: you have to do is have what they call staycations.

- 36:56Speaker 1: if you don't like your backyard and your neighbor's back
- 37:00Speaker 1: yard is better, take the picnic over to their damn yard,
- 37:04Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Take it over there and
- 37:07Speaker 1: spread out. And when they come to the door to
- 37:10Speaker 1: yell at you say, stop being so damn selfish. Share
- 37:14Speaker 1: your neighborhood. That's what this is all about. Say you
- 37:17Speaker 1: want to see a farm. We all know some family
- 37:20Speaker 1: members that live on a farm. Go to the farm,
- 37:24Speaker 1: milk the cow, gather some eggs. Don't steal them because
- 37:28Speaker 1: they're not yours. They're not your eggs, not your milk.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Set it on the porch before you leave, and say
- 37:35Speaker 1: when they come, what are you doing. Stop being so
- 37:39Speaker 1: damn selfish. You need to share. Yeah, it's time. It's
- 37:46Speaker 1: very hot out there, not during the summertime. And everybody
- 37:50Speaker 1: don't have a pool. I looked us up. Most people
- 37:53Speaker 1: who own a pool use their pool less than ten
- 37:57Speaker 1: times a year, which means the damn pool is empty.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Go over there, jump in the damn pool and enjoy
- 38:07Speaker 1: your damn If I cut somebody in my pool, okay,
- 38:12Speaker 1: don't go to time. As you see, he's angry already.
- 38:14Speaker 1: See he's not in the giving, not in the giving spend,
- 38:20Speaker 1: So don't go to his house. And when they come

- 39:08Speaker 1: the hour, we'll have more of the ste Harvey Morning
- 39:10Speaker 1: Show right after this you're listening to show. In trending
- 39:17Speaker 1: COVID news, Texas Governor Greg Abbott has banned mask mandates,
- 39:22Speaker 1: threatening to find local officials who try to enforce them.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Governor Abbott said that Texans have mastered the safe practices
- 39:29Speaker 1: that help prevent and avoid the spread of COVID nineteen
- 39:34Speaker 1: and moving on to Florida. Florida has the highest numbers
- 39:37Speaker 1: of COVID cases in the country. Alabama and Mississippi among
- 39:40Speaker 1: the states that lead the nation as well with the
- 39:42Speaker 1: least amount of people vaccinated. Come on, guys, we are
- 39:47Speaker 1: just failing each other as a country. We are We're
- 39:50Speaker 1: trying to be safe and healthy. The cities of Atlanta
- 39:53Speaker 1: and Savannah issue mask mandates despite the governor's stance on
- 39:57Speaker 1: opposing it. But what are we doing? What are we doing? Well?
- 40:03Speaker 1: This delta is nothing to play with. It's very very serious.
- 40:07Speaker 1: It's worse than than it was before. And you know
- 40:10Speaker 1: less than the people have not been vaccinated and then
- 40:14Speaker 1: listening to the wrong damn people. They're listening to the
- 40:18Speaker 1: wrong people that I mean, and you can't argue with them,
- 40:21Speaker 1: you can't talk to them. It doesn't make sense. This
- 40:25Speaker 1: is what's in their head and they're not going to
- 40:27Speaker 1: take the shot. And some of these people are gonna
- 40:29Speaker 1: die my state. But you know what, Tommy, it's the
- 40:37Speaker 1: entire country. We got some people that are foolish in
- 40:41Speaker 1: leadership and they're making this about political It ain't just Texas.
- 40:45Speaker 1: I mean, I live in Texas too, it's everywhere with
- 40:48Speaker 1: these people are just being foolish and playing with people's
- 40:52Speaker 1: lives and making this a political statement. This is a
- 40:54Speaker 1: health crisis and we're going backwards. We have a vaccination
- 40:59Speaker 1: that could say people lives, and other countries are waiting
- 41:02Speaker 1: on vaccines and we're shipping the vaccines over there and
- 41:06Speaker 1: they're saving their citizens or you know, people's lives, and
- 41:10Speaker 1: here we are. It's just it's foolishness, man, But it's
- 41:14Speaker 1: a mess Tommy. Yeah, we gotta be honest with it.
- 41:17Speaker 1: I mean this, the whole political aspect of it started
- 41:21Speaker 1: with our former president, if you know you definitely right. Yeah,
- 41:26Speaker 1: he made it political. And the crazy part is he
- 41:29Speaker 1: got COVID and took shots. Yeah. Yeah, he probably so
- 41:35Speaker 1: full of COVID you can smell it on his breath.
- 41:37Speaker 1: The vaccine, not the COVID you can smell. Took it right,
- 41:42Speaker 1: and then our people, black people are afraid to take
- 41:45Speaker 1: it because you know, they're saying they don't know what's
- 41:48Speaker 1: in it. They don't know what's in it. You know,
- 41:50Speaker 1: it's just the one against me is they say, well,
- 41:54Speaker 1: the government they're putting chips in you and people would
- 41:58Speaker 1: be able to follow you. Look, they know where you are,
- 42:02Speaker 1: Yeah they can. The government can find your assy's calling,
- 42:05Speaker 1: I phone, phone, cable TV. You ain't. They don't know
- 42:13Speaker 1: exactly where you are, Facebook, Instagram. They't know where you are. President.
- 42:17Speaker 1: I have gone I have been at the mall and
- 42:19Speaker 1: gone into a particular store twenty minutes, come back out,
- 42:24Speaker 1: walk the walk the mall and then look at my
- 42:27Speaker 1: emails and realize that store has sent me an email,
- 42:31Speaker 1: three emails like yo, how you know I was in
- 42:33Speaker 1: there exactly where you are. You can drive path they
- 42:38Speaker 1: have the same where you can drive past certain places
- 42:41Speaker 1: and you'll get an email from them. I mean, what
- 42:43Speaker 1: best guy has been doing it and Target's been doing
- 42:46Speaker 1: it too, so they can find you. So that's your argument.
- 42:49Speaker 1: They know where you are, They exactly know where the
- 42:51Speaker 1: hell you take the shot. What about the one j
- 42:55Speaker 1: where they say, well, I don't know what's in it.
- 42:57Speaker 1: I don't know all that that we put in our body.
- 43:01Speaker 1: You don't know what's in mellow yellow, but we drink it.
- 43:06Speaker 1: But the shot, we don't know what's in wish the
- 43:14Speaker 1: ship South, We didn't know that sault. We don't have
- 43:18Speaker 1: to have no idea what so So let me ask
- 43:21Speaker 1: you this. If they were to list the ingredients in
- 43:24Speaker 1: the vaccine's like you don't know that, right? No? No, no,
- 43:29Speaker 1: like you're asking reading big ass words. Come on, it's
- 43:36Speaker 1: really sad, man, It's really sad. And most of the
- 43:39Speaker 1: hospitalizations are coming from unvaccinated people. People that we all
- 43:47Speaker 1: we've seen the videos on social media, all trended, all
- 43:50Speaker 1: people being six and they wish they would have took
- 43:52Speaker 1: the shot. And that's the last thing they say to
- 43:54Speaker 1: Carlin when when they're done, I wish me too. I'm
- 43:59Speaker 1: so glad, I am, I am very happy. All right, guys,
- 44:04Speaker 1: Coming up next, it is a nephew with today's prank
- 44:07Speaker 1: phone call. Right after this, you're listening to the Stave
- 44:10Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Right about four minutes after, it's my strawberry letter. For
- 44:17Speaker 1: today's subject. She wants to buy my special sauce. We'll
- 44:20Speaker 1: get into it. We'll get into that. Yeah, just a
- 44:24Speaker 1: little bit. But right now the nephew is here with
- 44:27Speaker 1: today's prank phone call. What you got for us, nef,
- 44:29Speaker 1: I think it's time to take it to the church.
- 44:32Speaker 1: This right here is Media Ministry, Media Ministry. Hello, Hello,
- 44:42Speaker 1: I'm trying to reade Dre. Andre Dre. You're the person
- 44:47Speaker 1: that runs the media at the church. You over the
- 44:50Speaker 1: sound system and everything and all the U the screens
- 44:53Speaker 1: and all that stuff. Yeah, yeah, I work with the church. Okay,
- 44:57Speaker 1: how long have you been at the church, man, I've
- 44:59Speaker 1: probably been at the church for like five years now,
- 45:01Speaker 1: about five years. Okay, okay, listen. My name Doug Man,
- 45:04Speaker 1: Doug Newsome, and uh I haven't I haven't joined the
- 45:07Speaker 1: church yet, but I've been coming because my cousin them
- 45:10Speaker 1: go there, and they've been going there for quite a bit.
- 45:12Speaker 1: I got I got one cousin that's in the choir.
- 45:14Speaker 1: Uh Latrice. You know who Latrice is? Right? Yeah? Yeah,
- 45:17Speaker 1: I know you ain't remember of the church yet. No, No,
- 45:20Speaker 1: I'm not remember of the church yet. But you know,
- 45:22Speaker 1: I've been in there. You know, I'm liking the service
- 45:25Speaker 1: and everything. So you know, it's just a matter of time,
- 45:27Speaker 1: you know. Uh uh when I feel like I'm ready
- 45:30Speaker 1: to actually join. But I ain't gonna lie. Man. I'm
- 45:33Speaker 1: calling you because I got a bit of an issue
- 45:35Speaker 1: about about something I've been noticing for the last three
- 45:38Speaker 1: weeks that's been going on in the church, and I
- 45:40Speaker 1: wanted to uh you know, I had to ask around
- 45:43Speaker 1: who was over the media ministry. Yeah, that's that's you. Okay,
- 45:48Speaker 1: So uh man, I don't know what's happening. Uh And
- 45:53Speaker 1: and I ain't gonna lie. I gotta be real with you.
- 45:54Speaker 1: It pissed me off. But for the last three weeks,
- 45:58Speaker 1: you know, uh, when my cousin get ready to sing,
- 46:02Speaker 1: you know, I don't know why when she get up
- 46:04Speaker 1: the saying that the mic just go out. You know
- 46:07Speaker 1: what I mean, the mic just go completely out. Was
- 46:09Speaker 1: she getting ready to sing? And I'm like, wait, what
- 46:11Speaker 1: this don't make no sense? You know? So no, man,
- 46:14Speaker 1: I ain't been It's not like I'm timing it. I
- 46:15Speaker 1: don't know. I mean, we don't have the best equipment
- 46:18Speaker 1: at the church, you know, we we just got to
- 46:20Speaker 1: work for what we got. I mean, it's not like
- 46:22Speaker 1: I'm sitting there trying to sing about your cousin. Sometimes
- 46:25Speaker 1: the mike's get a glitch. Man, but see but see that.
- 46:28Speaker 1: But see that's my problem though. The problem I'm having
- 46:30Speaker 1: is the glitch happening every single time my cousin get
- 46:33Speaker 1: the mic. You know, That's that's the problem. I'm han.
- 46:36Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, so every time Latries get up there,
- 46:38Speaker 1: the same then you know, the mic go out. I
- 46:40Speaker 1: think came three weeks straight. I ain't hearing my cousin
- 46:42Speaker 1: saying nothing yet. So I'm calling you bro on you know,
- 46:46Speaker 1: on some real man the man stuff, Just letting you know, bro,
- 46:49Speaker 1: I'm coming to church again this Sunday. I'm coming. Nah
- 46:54Speaker 1: if Latrise might go out again, hey dog, somebody gonna
- 46:59Speaker 1: get it. You're gonna bring that energy to church. Say
- 47:04Speaker 1: whatnot you're gonna bring that energy to church. I told you, man,
- 47:07Speaker 1: it's just a glitch. Ain't nothing I could do about it. Okay,
- 47:11Speaker 1: what I'm saying though, Bro, what I'm saying is just
- 47:13Speaker 1: right here though, And I'm being as real as I can.
- 47:15Speaker 1: Which if if Latrese might go out on Sunday immediately
- 47:21Speaker 1: after that service is out with somebody getting the asbook.
- 47:25Speaker 1: I don't know why you calling threatening a member of
- 47:27Speaker 1: the church, man. Like I said, I ain't got nothing
- 47:29Speaker 1: to do with it. I try to keep everything running cool,
- 47:32Speaker 1: you know, I try to keep it running smooth. I
- 47:34Speaker 1: can't tell you when a glitch is gonna happen. It's electronics, man,
- 47:37Speaker 1: it's old equimmen. Now, I'd love for you to be
- 47:40Speaker 1: a member of the church with us, but I can't.
- 47:42Speaker 1: I mean, why are you calling up here threatening me? Hey, bro,
- 47:45Speaker 1: because because I came up there three times, three times
- 47:48Speaker 1: that he came there and see my cousin saying. You know,
- 47:51Speaker 1: my cousin been saying since we was kids. We all
- 47:53Speaker 1: love to hear hussaying. We love a voice, you know,
- 47:56Speaker 1: we you know, we grew up listening to Latrese Saint
- 47:59Speaker 1: so what I'm saying. I'm gonna say this here though,
- 48:01Speaker 1: and i'd said it, I didn't said it twice already.
- 48:04Speaker 1: I'm coming up there Sunday if if Latrese might go out,
- 48:10Speaker 1: bro let me just cut you off real quick. Ain't
- 48:11Speaker 1: no way that you're gonna come up here and whoop
- 48:14Speaker 1: nobody's as man. That just ain't gonna happen. Like I
- 48:17Speaker 1: told you, it's a glinch. But you ain't coming up
- 48:18Speaker 1: to the church talking all this ship and then gonna
- 48:21Speaker 1: whip somebody's ass ahead. Okay, So I see where we
- 48:23Speaker 1: are now, So so let me just going on direct
- 48:25Speaker 1: it this way. So let me say this, from Doug
- 48:28Speaker 1: to Andre, from me to you, I'm letting you know
- 48:32Speaker 1: right now, come Sunday, if Latrese might go out, not
- 48:38Speaker 1: know somebody, I'm whooping yo eyes, Drake, I'm whooping yo
- 48:42Speaker 1: eyes if the day I might go out there. Okay,
- 48:45Speaker 1: First off, ain't nobody whooping my eyes, especially no punk
- 48:48Speaker 1: dude named Doug. He ain't gonna come to the church
- 48:52Speaker 1: as that's gonna happen. Okay, what what what makes you
- 48:54Speaker 1: think you can't get your ass? What makes me you
- 48:57Speaker 1: over here? Threatened somebody over here with the media. You
- 48:59Speaker 1: want to come test these hands and come test the hands. Man.
- 49:02Speaker 1: You know what, by the fact, when y'all next rehearsal,
- 49:05Speaker 1: I ain't just come on over that end. You come
- 49:07Speaker 1: on over there, man, Why don't you come over right now?
- 49:09Speaker 1: I'm over at the church right now. Oh so you're
- 49:11Speaker 1: at the church right now. I'm at the church right now. Okay,
- 49:14Speaker 1: right now. If you want to catch it school, you're
- 49:17Speaker 1: gonna need the church after you don't get this as Okay, hey, Bob,
- 49:22Speaker 1: tell DJ then we're gonna go to the church. Dout, No, no,
- 49:25Speaker 1: tell him. We've going to roll up to this damn church. Okay,
- 49:27Speaker 1: come on, call all up, call all up. Now you're
- 49:29Speaker 1: fun to get your whipped dog. So you didn't push
- 49:32Speaker 1: it up on the wrong one. Now you're pushed up
- 49:34Speaker 1: on the wrong one. So all this little talking, cool,
- 49:37Speaker 1: you're fun. Have eight dudes right now talking. So Douggie,
- 49:41Speaker 1: you can bring Johnny, you can bring Billy, you can
- 49:44Speaker 1: bring whoever you want. But it ain't gonna happen. Okay, okay,
- 49:47Speaker 1: cool in real talk, Doug, you don't call me talking
- 49:51Speaker 1: to all this book. How you about to come up here?
- 49:53Speaker 1: And what my and now you need like seven eight
- 49:56Speaker 1: other guys. Back in the day, we used to just
- 49:58Speaker 1: handle this one on one. And now you want to
- 50:00Speaker 1: come up here talking all that. You're gonna bring every
- 50:02Speaker 1: cousin you've got you house. If you want to do this, man,
- 50:05Speaker 1: come up here. Let's do it one on one. Oh
- 50:07Speaker 1: oh oh oh oh you're scared of something. Ain't nobody scared,
- 50:11Speaker 1: but you're talking that. You're whooping mind. And now you
- 50:13Speaker 1: want to bring up every disciple you know? Man, you
- 50:16Speaker 1: know what brings whoever you want. Just don't bring nobody
- 50:18Speaker 1: you want back because I'll put you all down. Okay, Well,
- 50:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you this here. I'm gonna bring Tommy
- 50:23Speaker 1: with me, and Tommy gonna be the one. It's gonna
- 50:25Speaker 1: act a damn fool with you. I'm telling you that
- 50:27Speaker 1: right now, Tommy. So you don't know Tommy, No, I
- 50:31Speaker 1: don't know Tommy. Okay, do you know nephew Tommy from
- 50:33Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey More on the show? Are you kidding me?
- 50:41Speaker 1: This number? Hey man, Latrese got me to brank phone
- 50:45Speaker 1: call you. Matter of fact, the whole choir is in
- 50:47Speaker 1: on this and they know that I am pranking you, Drake. Man,
- 50:52Speaker 1: Now you got me then turning up on the radio. Man,
- 50:55Speaker 1: Now I gotta go ask for forgiveness that smack out.
- 50:58Speaker 1: I'm talking, I'll come Sunday. I'm turning everybody's mic off. Okay, man,
- 51:06Speaker 1: I gotta ask you this, Drake, what is the baddest
- 51:09Speaker 1: and I mean the baddest radio show in the lay?
- 51:11Speaker 1: You know, it's the Steve Harvey Morning Show? And Yo, Temmy,
- 51:14Speaker 1: if I could turn your mic off, I turned that,
- 51:18Speaker 1: Doug bro It didn't, didn't, dog Bread, he didn't. But
- 51:21Speaker 1: let me tell you something. We love Andre saying, turn
- 51:24Speaker 1: off your mic. You women, that was the closest seat
- 51:30Speaker 1: you've gotten to a whipping, Yeah, to an actual but whipping.
- 51:35Speaker 1: But at the church, don't Tommy what's gonna oh your boys?
- 51:39Speaker 1: No limit to what he does, y'all. Ain't y'all think,
- 51:41Speaker 1: Ain't no fights happened that church? Y'all? Church to listen
- 51:47Speaker 1: to Team Tommy? Though, what are you saying over there's
- 51:49Speaker 1: a lot of fights that church, Yes, yes, and a
- 51:52Speaker 1: lot of people that church needed behind. But we won't
- 51:54Speaker 1: go on that one now. So Dray was bot it.
- 52:05Speaker 1: Dray like, why you need only your people, old school baby,
- 52:09Speaker 1: hand to hand, right, Hey, I got I got something
- 52:13Speaker 1: for you. I want to drop this on y'all. The

- 53:56Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter. Thank you, nephew. You never know this,
- 53:59Speaker 1: this be your letter. You just never know. Subject she
- 54:02Speaker 1: wants to buy my special sauce. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm
- 54:06Speaker 1: a thirty seven year old married man with one son
- 54:09Speaker 1: from a previous marriage and one son with my new wife.
- 54:13Speaker 1: I've been remarried for almost four years and my life
- 54:15Speaker 1: is great now. I have a great relationship with my
- 54:18Speaker 1: ex wife, and my son is staying with me because
- 54:21Speaker 1: he needs a strong male role model in his life.
- 54:25Speaker 1: My wife is friendly with my ex wife, and that
- 54:28Speaker 1: makes me love her even more. I do believe she's
- 54:31Speaker 1: what I needed in my life all along. She loves
- 54:34Speaker 1: me unconditionally, and when I lost my job last year,
- 54:38Speaker 1: she didn't miss a beat with supporting me and stepping
- 54:41Speaker 1: in to take care of our family. So here's my problem.
- 54:45Speaker 1: My ex wife's family is very wealthy, so she gave
- 54:49Speaker 1: me a small loan when I lost my job, and
- 54:51Speaker 1: I never told my wife about it. It has helped
- 54:54Speaker 1: out a lot, and my wife thinks I've been using
- 54:57Speaker 1: a portion of my savings. My ex wife called me
- 55:00Speaker 1: a few months ago and said she really wants another baby,
- 55:04Speaker 1: and she's running out of time because she's thirty six
- 55:07Speaker 1: years old. She told me that she wants her children
- 55:11Speaker 1: to have the same father, so she propositioned me about
- 55:15Speaker 1: giving her another baby. I told her she was crazy
- 55:20Speaker 1: as hell to even ask me that. She sweetened the
- 55:24Speaker 1: deal by offering me twenty five thousand dollars for my
- 55:28Speaker 1: especial sauce. She said, all I have to do is
- 55:32Speaker 1: donate sperm or I can make love to her one
- 55:36Speaker 1: last time. She said she preferred the make love option.
- 55:41Speaker 1: I almost told her I didn't love her, but I
- 55:43Speaker 1: caught myself. I told her that I wasn't going to
- 55:46Speaker 1: do it either way, and she gave me an ultimatum.
- 55:50Speaker 1: An ultimatum, she said, either I give her the sauce
- 55:54Speaker 1: or make love to her, or she's telling my wife
- 55:57Speaker 1: about the loan. I need money real bad, but I'm
- 56:01Speaker 1: not jeopardizing my marriage for her. Should I tell my
- 56:04Speaker 1: wife about everything before my ex wife does? Please help? Okay?
- 56:09Speaker 1: How stupid are you? Right now? All right? I need
- 56:14Speaker 1: the money real bad, but I'm not jeopardizing my marriage
- 56:17Speaker 1: for her. Okay, there's your answer right there. Then you ask,
- 56:20Speaker 1: should I tell my wife about everything before my ex
- 56:22Speaker 1: wife does? Well? You know my answer is yes, of course.
- 56:26Speaker 1: And the reason I say that, well, we all know
- 56:29Speaker 1: that if Steve were here, and these guys too, they're
- 56:31Speaker 1: gonna say I'm wrong for doing this. But we know
- 56:33Speaker 1: if Steve were here, we'd be arguing about this right now.
- 56:36Speaker 1: But I don't see that you have much of a
- 56:38Speaker 1: choice here. You left yourself wide open when you accepted
- 56:42Speaker 1: the money initially, and you know she would want something
- 56:45Speaker 1: in return. That's how this game goes. Everything costs, you know,
- 56:49Speaker 1: favor for favor, and listen, I don't think you're serious
- 56:53Speaker 1: enough about all of this you're calling your sperm, you know,
- 56:57Speaker 1: your special sauce and all of that. Come on, now,
- 57:01Speaker 1: this is not a joke. If you make the wrong
- 57:04Speaker 1: move here, your ex wife could ruin you, and you
- 57:06Speaker 1: already know that. You set it in your letter. You're
- 57:09Speaker 1: not going to jeopardize your marriage for her, and your
- 57:12Speaker 1: current wife could leave you as well if she finds out.
- 57:15Speaker 1: That's why you need to tell her. If she's as
- 57:18Speaker 1: great of a partner as you say, your wife will
- 57:21Speaker 1: understand eventually. Of course she's going to be mad at
- 57:25Speaker 1: first and all of that because you didn't tell her
- 57:28Speaker 1: about the loan up front, But at least you didn't
- 57:31Speaker 1: do anything all the way stupid like sleep with your
- 57:34Speaker 1: ex already and you know, give her your so called
- 57:38Speaker 1: with special sauce and make another baby. Trust me, your
- 57:43Speaker 1: wife would be inconsolable if you have another child with
- 57:47Speaker 1: your ex. There's no coming back from that. So I
- 57:50Speaker 1: say it's in your best interest not to continue the
- 57:53Speaker 1: lies and the deceit and come clean. Now, lay it
- 57:56Speaker 1: all on the table, because if you don't, you could
- 57:59Speaker 1: lose everything that you treasure so much. So again, don't
- 58:04Speaker 1: be stupid, Okay, don't be stupid. Please work out a
- 58:08Speaker 1: payment plan with your ex after you tell your wife,
- 58:10Speaker 1: and and make sure your wife is included in all
- 58:12Speaker 1: that from now on. Otherwise this is just stupid and
- 58:15Speaker 1: you're going to be ruined and divorced. Jay, Come on,
- 58:19Speaker 1: Sharon is absolutely right. Don't be stupid and tell her
- 58:23Speaker 1: a damn thing. Don't do not, dude. I don't know you,
- 58:30Speaker 1: you don't know me, but you don't tell your wife
- 58:34Speaker 1: a damn thing. If it comes out, it comes out, okay.
- 58:38Speaker 1: And with the loan that you got, and you want
- 58:40Speaker 1: to go to your wife and said, remember that loan
- 58:43Speaker 1: I got. Here's the things that we got with that loan.
- 58:46Speaker 1: So you let her know that that money was spent
- 58:49Speaker 1: directly on her. Now it's fun, it's fuzzy, it's fuzz
- 58:55Speaker 1: your special sauce. She wants to have a baby, the
- 58:58Speaker 1: old fashioned win. What you do because obviously you've been
- 59:03Speaker 1: thinking about it, and the sex is obviously the sex
- 59:06Speaker 1: is obviously good. I mean, you ain't know because you
- 59:09Speaker 1: didn't go like we were talking early in the show,
- 59:11Speaker 1: and then it's actually really good. So here's what you do.
- 59:18Speaker 1: You put a clamp on it for as long as
- 59:20Speaker 1: you can put a clamp on it mean you get
- 59:22Speaker 1: temporarily fixed, just temporary, and then you go, yes you can,
- 59:28Speaker 1: and then you go for the practice. You get as
- 59:31Speaker 1: much practice with your axes you as you possibly can.
- 59:34Speaker 1: You can just say I'm trying, baby, I don't know
- 59:37Speaker 1: what's wrong, but I'm trying to give you this, baby. Yeah,
- 59:42Speaker 1: you take the twenty twenty five thousand to take me
- 59:46Speaker 1: to them. Don't say you can have it. You can
- 59:50Speaker 1: put a slip knight in the time and you have
- 59:52Speaker 1: to go to the Okay you're laughing. You can put time.
- 59:56Speaker 1: You can put a slip knight in it, and then
- 59:58Speaker 1: when you're ready for things just to come through, you
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: just pulled the little string and it flows. I don't
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: know how to fits it up. I heard about it,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: I've seen it on TV. But you can get that done.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: I'm thinking of the little clips that you Yeah, yeah,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: that's what I'm thinking. Hang on, we'll have part two
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: of the Strawberry Letter coming up for twenty three minutes
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: after the hour, the subject she wants to buy my
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: special sauce. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: we're back. This is an unusual Strawberry letter because we
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: got some unusual information from Jay. The subject is she
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: wants to buy my special sauce. I'm on recap the
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: letter for you. Thirty seven year old married man wrote
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: in he has a son from a previous marriage, one
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: from his new wife. He's loving his new life with
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: his new wife of four years. His son from his
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: ex wife is living with him because he wants a
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: role model in his life, a male role model. The wife,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: the ex wife, and the current wife are very friendly.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: The ex wife's family is very wealthy. Own wife divorced her. Then, uh,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: family's very very, very wealthy. So what happened, Yeah, but
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: what happened was this man. Thirty seven year old married
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: man lost his job last year. So what makes his wife,
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: current wife even more special is that she didn't miss
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: a beat with stepping up and taking care of the
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: family while he's temporarily we hope, out of work. But
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: in the meantime, his ex wife gave him a loan
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: that he did not tell his wife about. So he
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: didn't tell that was he didn't tell her. So now
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: the ex wife is coming to him saying she wants
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: another child. She's thirty six. She wants to hurry up,
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: and she either wants to do it the old fashioned
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: way where he makes love to her for one last
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: time so she can get a child, or or you know,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: they can do it. You know the other way. The
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: other way was us s firm donor. And that's why
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: he's saying special thoughts that he could be a sperm donor.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: So that's where we are in this letter. H And
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: if he doesn't give her what she wants in terms
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: of another baby, then she's going to tell his wife
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: about the loan, which he didn't tell So he doesn't
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: want to jeopardize his marriage. So he's asking the question
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: should he tell his wife about everything before his ex
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: wife does? That is a question. Um I said yes,
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: most definitely tell her uh and Jay said absolutely not,
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: that would be stupid. And now let's hear what Tommy
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: has to say any information that she don't know about.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: Women don't need to know things that they don't know about.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: They really whatever stupid. All right, let's go Tommy. One
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: thing we all agree on is he stupid. One thing
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: we all agree on everything he has done has been stupid.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: When you took that loan from that lady. It was stupid.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: You should not have done that. The fact that you
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: are entertaining, entertaining giving this lady a child, that's even
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: more stupid. The fact that you wrote us with this
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: is stupid. Ready to look let me but let me
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: let me drop this on you. You got a nice wife,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: she got she got your back. She didn't stepped up.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: Now when she's stepping up and she taking care of
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: the family because you got your job, you step up
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: and go get some money somewhere else. That was stupid.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: So so you're not gonna believe Tommy's suggestion. I think
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: you need to tell your wife every flo you know what.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: I think you need to sit your wife now totally
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: disown you, Tommy, totally. You gotta hear me. There's no
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: you gotta fix this because you don't want her coming
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: to your wife with this. You gotta sit down and
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: tell your wife. I made a mistake. I took some
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: money I shouldn't have. And I'll be honest with you.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: I have been on the flip side of this. I
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: have lone money. I have loaned money before and did
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: it without talking to my wife, which is not the
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: cool thing to do. And then and then guess what,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: you'll come back around and she's gonna find out about it.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: Oh so you loan such such money, and if any
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: of your family members friends, I've done it. I've got
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: myself in trouble. But let me tell you something. You
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: you got Nip this in the bud right now. Tell
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: your wife what you did and say I made a
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: big mistake. But here's what she's throwing at me, and
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: she's trying to hold this over me. That's the only
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: way out. I'll tell you what. You want to make
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: it worse, go give our baby. You want to make
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: it worse. Stupid ass, you want to make it WORKA
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: get my baby? How stupid is you? Know what? Until
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: you do right by me? Tommy and I hear you
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: say you were hurt by Tommy's hurt, tell her everything.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: I'm rushed. He's got such he gotta come clean on this.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Let me tell you what this is, y'all. Everybody listening.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: This is ready to love advice. I'm telling me he's
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: doing a commercial right now for he's talking. He's telling
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: ready to love, y'all. I gotta be real. Excuse me,
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Ready to Love is great. You're absolutely but this is
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: classic Shirly Strawberry. Strawberry letter advice. That is what this is.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: I had to come clean on this one. You gotta
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: go tell you gotta tell her what you did, own
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: them to your mistake. And guess what she will accept
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: that you borrow some money. Nobody's gonna accept You gotta baby,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: come you got And he knows that he said it
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: in his letter. I'm not jeopardizing my marriage for her.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: He knows this woman. She will go right to his
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: group group is breaking up with breaking up y'all had
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: to make he needs some sense. Ja. We got to
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: be real with it. You gotta know you gotta tell
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: your wife what you have done wrong, own up to it.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: You're gonna she's gonna she's gonna be mad about it.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: When I promise you, your wife gonna be way. Best
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: man come home with a baby boy in the Okay.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: Don't go in there with that man. Okay. Can we
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: also discuss why he divorced the first wife in the
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: first place. You want to had all the money, yet
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: my wife is very wealthy. Can we also say that
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: how stupid are you? Sir? Stop? You should have stay
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: with her right, Yeah, you should. We already could have
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: had all the baby's he wanted. All right, Thank your wife, man,

- 1:09:00Speaker 1: guys in trending relationship news, something Jay knows a lot about. Uh.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: Some people are often in like you know, those short, sexy,
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: kind of hot summer romances around this time of year.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: You know they call it a summer fling, right, but

- 1:09:24Speaker 1: So how do you guys get out of a summer fling?
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: I mean it's supposed to be one of those is
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: it supposed to be like a no strings attached relationship?
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: Like you know all is coming, you know when the
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: leaves start flying off. You know what I'm saying this,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: You know this is not our season. That's when I

- 1:10:50Speaker 1: a summer name. That's not a winter name. I don't
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: don't feel bad that you don't have a winner name.

- 1:11:14Speaker 1: in the winter. Right down, Bob, you know, I'm I'm
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: gonna throw the name my time, and you tell me

- 1:11:44Speaker 1: Thats what you need in the winter. That's strong. We

- 1:13:59Speaker 1: bread US say the country's National Health Service has denied
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: her a breast reduction operation. What what the country have
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: to do with it? Really? Because they get yeah that's
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: right now, okay, yeah unlike us. Yeah yeah, how big

- 1:14:24Speaker 1: Size thirty two is her backs that should a real
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: small back. But yeah, so I don't know what. I
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: don't know what an operation like that what costs. But
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: I'm just gonna put this out there for her. I'd
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: be willing to fund that if if I get to
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: keep the throwaway. That's what I know. I thought you
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: was being so serious. You took a hard left on me.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: So stupid, this ignorant show right here, man, if I'm gonna,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: if I'm gonna, if I'm gonna pay for it, shouldn't
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: shouldn't it be mad? You go by Jay House and
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: they're sitting them on the average. You know what they
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: would be for her age? You know which which is
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: very unfortunate. She's asked the National Health Service for a
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: reduction since twenty eighteen, and she's been repeatedly denied. But
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: help us on the way, and we'll have more of
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at thirty three
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: minutes after. Right after this, you're listening to the String Show.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: In trending COVID news, Texas Governor Greg Abbott has banned
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: mask mandates, threatening to find local officials who try to
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: enforce them. Governor Abbott said that Texans have mastered the
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: safe practices that help prevent and avoid the spread of
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: COVID nineteen and moving on to Florida. Florida has the
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: highest numbers of COVID cases in the country. Alabama and
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: Mississippi among the states that lead the nation as well
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: with the least amount of people vaccinated. Come on, guys,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: we are just failing each other as a country. We
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: are We're trying to be safe and healthy. The cities
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: of Atlanta and Savannah issue mask mandates despite the governor's
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: stance on opposing it. But um, what are we doing?
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: What are we doing? Well? This delta is nothing to playwood.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: It's very very serious. It's worse than than it was before,
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: and you know, less than the people have not been
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: vaccinated and then listening to the wrong damn people. They're
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: listening to the wrong people that I mean, and you
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: can't argue with them, you can't talk to them. It
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: doesn't make sense. This is what's in their head and
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: they're not going to take the shot. And some of
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: these people are going to die. Some got to be
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: my state. Let you know what, Tommy, it's the entire country.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: We've got some people that are foolish in leadership and
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: they're making this about political It ain't just Texas. I mean,
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: I live in last it's everywhere with these people are
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: just being foolish and playing with people's lives and making
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: this a political statement. This is a health crisis and
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: we're going backwards. Yeah, we have a vaccination that could
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: save people lives, and other countries are waiting on vaccines
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: and we're shipping the vaccines over there and they're saving
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: their citizens are But it's a mess, Tommy. Yeah, we
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: gotta be honest with it. I mean this, the whole
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: political aspect of it started with our former president. You know,
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: you definitely, Yeah, he made it political. And the crazy
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: part is he got COVID and took shots. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: he probably so full of COVID you can smell it
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: on his breath. The vaccine, not the COVID, took it right.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: And then our people, black people are afraid to take
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: it because you know, they're they don't know what's in it.
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: They don't know what's in it. You know, it's just
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: it's really sad, man, It's really sad. And most of
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: the hospitalizations are coming from unvaccinated people. We've seen the
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: videos on social media, all trended, all people being sixteen.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: They wish they would have took the shine. And that's
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: the last thing they say to Carlin when when they're done.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: I wish me too. I'm so glad, I am very happy.
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: Coming up, it is our last break of the day.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: It is the last break of the day. There won't
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: be one after this, okay, So don't even look at
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: the radio like there's gonna be another, because there will
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: not be one. Go ahead, it's the last one, and
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: we'll close out the show coming up at forty nine
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're listening to
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: the Steven Show. All right, guys, here we are our
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: last break of the day, first Monday in August of
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: this year. This is moving. It's moving, guys, fast man Christmas?
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: You know that girl? Trust me? Can I say something? Yeah? Yeah,
