- 0:15Speaker 1: Black bus busy.
- 0:24Speaker 4: Listening to.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Show to.
- 0:38Speaker 4: Want to joy?
- 0:50Speaker 2: Yeah, Joy, you know you.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 5: I can't.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Go to turn the mouth the turn.
- 1:43Speaker 3: You probably got to turn the mouth mouth water the monk.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come on, you think, uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:04Speaker 6: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:08Speaker 6: dig me now, one and only. Steve Harvey got a
- 2:11Speaker 6: radio show. You know this week I just been on it,
- 2:14Speaker 6: So today is no different. I'm telling you, I've just
- 2:18Speaker 6: reinvigorated myself. I'm more determined to share the principles of success.
- 2:24Speaker 6: I'm more determined to help and guide and teach as
- 2:29Speaker 6: many people as I can the things that I've learned.
- 2:32Speaker 2: And I mean, man, I've been through it. I have
- 2:34Speaker 2: really been through it. I kid you not.
- 2:36Speaker 7: You know.
- 2:37Speaker 6: I used to say, Okay, God, you know, why is
- 2:39Speaker 6: all this happening to me? But as I've gotten older,
- 2:43Speaker 6: I understand that was the ingredients. I needed the ingredients
- 2:47Speaker 6: to be this cake. I needed all those ingredients stirred up.
- 2:52Speaker 6: I need all of that different flavors the stuff that
- 2:55Speaker 6: I didn't think tastes so good. All that stuff had
- 2:58Speaker 6: to come into the bowl in order for me to
- 3:00Speaker 6: get to where I am today. As much as I
- 3:03Speaker 6: did not like the taste of the ingredients, little did
- 3:08Speaker 6: I know God was making this cake, not me. But
- 3:11Speaker 6: what he did was and you've heard the old saying
- 3:14Speaker 6: God could turn lemons into lemonade, Well that's what he
- 3:19Speaker 6: was doing now. At the time, it all had a
- 3:23Speaker 6: little funky lemonade lemony flavor to it, with some other
- 3:28Speaker 6: stuff in it too.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I didn't care for it.
- 3:30Speaker 6: But little did I know that I needed everything that
- 3:34Speaker 6: happened to me, that happened to me in the exact
- 3:36Speaker 6: order that it happened, and the exact array of things
- 3:39Speaker 6: that happened for me to have the knowledge I have today,
- 3:42Speaker 6: the experience, the attitude, so I could turn around and
- 3:48Speaker 6: share that information. Okay, got that out the way. This
- 3:53Speaker 6: is what I want to give to you today. I
- 3:55Speaker 6: want you to understand something that discipline determined your destiny,
- 4:01Speaker 6: not your desire. Discipline determines your destiny, not your desire.
- 4:09Speaker 6: You've heard me say this how many times.
- 4:10Speaker 2: On the show.
- 4:11Speaker 6: Okay, here we go again, Steve, I got it. Faith
- 4:14Speaker 6: without works is dead. But let me tell you something.
- 4:18Speaker 6: To be a hard worker, you got to be disciplined.
- 4:21Speaker 6: That's one of the hardest lessons I'm trying to get
- 4:23Speaker 6: through to my sons. You're gonna throw yourself down a
- 4:27Speaker 6: cliff if you're not a young man or a man
- 4:30Speaker 6: that possesses discipline. Because they got something for undisciplined people.
- 4:36Speaker 6: They got some street laws for undisciplined people, and they
- 4:39Speaker 6: got some federal laws and state laws for undisciplined people.
- 4:44Speaker 6: So that's why them signs is outside on the freeway,
- 4:46Speaker 6: We're gonna let you go fast, but seventy is the limit.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Seventy fast enough.
- 4:51Speaker 6: Really, if you're disciplined enough of a person to leave
- 4:55Speaker 6: your house at the time you're supposed to leave your house,
- 4:58Speaker 6: seventy miles per hour, well is absolutely enough. But if
- 5:02Speaker 6: you're an undisciplined person, if you don't have the wherewithal
- 5:06Speaker 6: to leave your house on time, to get ready to
- 5:09Speaker 6: go where you wanna go, see the desires where you
- 5:12Speaker 6: wanna go, the discipline is how you get there.
- 5:16Speaker 2: You understand, you can wanna go to see your family.
- 5:20Speaker 6: In California all you want, but the flight leaves at
- 5:24Speaker 6: one eighteen.
- 5:25Speaker 2: You leave your house at twelve thirty.
- 5:27Speaker 6: They told you you must check in one hour before
- 5:32Speaker 6: your flight. Now, if you ain't got the discipline to
- 5:35Speaker 6: get to the airport to check in one hour before
- 5:38Speaker 6: your flight, leaving your house forty five minutes before the
- 5:41Speaker 6: flight departs, what you think gonna happen?
- 5:44Speaker 2: Your desire to go see your family in la.
- 5:48Speaker 6: Is going to be thwarted because you lack the discipline
- 5:52Speaker 6: to prepare yourself and get yourself ready to do the
- 5:56Speaker 6: things that you have to do to make your desires
- 5:58Speaker 6: come true. Telling tell you discipline determines your destiny, not
- 6:03Speaker 6: your desire. You can write down a list of stuff
- 6:06Speaker 6: you wanna do all day, but if you don't produce
- 6:09Speaker 6: and show the discipline necessary to get there, what you
- 6:12Speaker 6: think gonna happen?
- 6:15Speaker 2: Huh?
- 6:16Speaker 6: Okay, I wanna be rich. Okay, I wanna make four
- 6:20Speaker 6: hundred thousand a year. Okay, I wanna be the best
- 6:25Speaker 6: player that they is. Okay, but you don't want practice.
- 6:29Speaker 6: See the cat that's disciplined enough to show up at practice,
- 6:33Speaker 6: that's shooting jumpers when everybody gone home. That's the guy
- 6:36Speaker 6: that's gonna be the best. The guy that's never late
- 6:39Speaker 6: for practice, the guy to study the playbook. That's the
- 6:42Speaker 6: guy that's gonna make it, not the guy that's talking crack,
- 6:45Speaker 6: got stalking that smack. I'm gonna make the Pro Bowl,
- 6:48Speaker 6: I'm gonna make the All Star Team, I'm gonna be
- 6:50Speaker 6: All American. That's just what you're saying. But discipline determines
- 6:55Speaker 6: your destiny, not your desire. So now let's talk about
- 6:59Speaker 6: this discipline. What is that, really, Steve.
- 7:02Speaker 2: That's your work ethic, that's your hunger, that's your wheel.
- 7:07Speaker 6: Discipline is how hard you're willing to demonstrate the attributes
- 7:14Speaker 6: and the traits to be what you want to be.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Did you hear me?
- 7:19Speaker 6: It is your willingness to conduct yourself in a manner
- 7:24Speaker 6: that is above and beyond what they say is necessary.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Now, this is a good example right here.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Now.
- 7:31Speaker 6: You can wanna be in the NFL all you want,
- 7:34Speaker 6: but they got this thing called the NFL Combines where
- 7:38Speaker 6: they bring in some of the top players at every
- 7:40Speaker 6: position to come in and they gonna run a forty
- 7:43Speaker 6: yard dash, They're gonna do a standing broad jump, they're
- 7:47Speaker 6: gonna do a standing vertical leap, they gonna do drills.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Running drills, cutting drills.
- 7:55Speaker 6: They can determine if a lineback of gods stiff hips
- 7:59Speaker 6: by making him backpedal, point him in one direction and
- 8:02Speaker 6: throw the football in another direction. How does he turn
- 8:05Speaker 6: his body? Now you can say you can tell everybody
- 8:07Speaker 6: at your college you want to play pro football. You
- 8:09Speaker 6: can tell everybody at your high school. You can tell
- 8:11Speaker 6: them in pee wee you wanna play pro football. But
- 8:13Speaker 6: they got tests for you though. It's called the combines.
- 8:17Speaker 6: Now you get out here and you have a bad
- 8:19Speaker 6: combine day, ain't nobody trying to hear that. Let me
- 8:22Speaker 6: tell you how excuses don't work with people when they
- 8:24Speaker 6: just trying to get when they trying to win in
- 8:26Speaker 6: the NFL.
- 8:28Speaker 2: The fact that you had a bad day at the.
- 8:30Speaker 6: Combine and you don't run your best forties and you
- 8:33Speaker 6: keep telling them you could do better, they don't want
- 8:35Speaker 6: to hear that. Because see, what ain't nobody gonna pay
- 8:37Speaker 6: you for is to play on Sunday. And that's one
- 8:40Speaker 6: of your bad days. We paying you to play on Sundays.
- 8:45Speaker 6: But because you keep having these bad days, because you
- 8:49Speaker 6: ain't disciplined enough to put in the work to make
- 8:51Speaker 6: sure that your maximum can be called upon at any time.
- 8:55Speaker 6: Now you at the combine with some slow times that
- 8:58Speaker 6: go on your record, you had to combine. You don't
- 9:01Speaker 6: jump as high as you did when you was at
- 9:02Speaker 6: the gym class. Well, hold up, man, this is show
- 9:05Speaker 6: day now in the NFL. Sunday is show day. What
- 9:10Speaker 6: they can't run the risk of is paying you your
- 9:12Speaker 6: money and your bad day happen to be on Sundays
- 9:15Speaker 6: after we do to cut your check. No, no, no,
- 9:18Speaker 6: We looking for people who limit them bad days, who
- 9:21Speaker 6: got the discipline to work hard, to make an effort
- 9:24Speaker 6: for it. You understand what I'm saying to your folks.
- 9:26Speaker 6: Please understand this. Discipline determines your destiny, not your desire.
- 9:32Speaker 6: If you can want it all you want, But if
- 9:35Speaker 6: you ain't working, if you ain't grinding, if you ain't hurting,
- 9:39Speaker 6: if you ain't sweating real bad, if you always somewhere,
- 9:44Speaker 6: got to chill, You got to have a cold one,
- 9:46Speaker 6: you got to smoke one, You got to do all
- 9:49Speaker 6: them things. Can I tell you something you ain't gonna
- 9:52Speaker 6: make it?
- 9:53Speaker 2: Discipline determines your destiny, not your desire.
- 9:57Speaker 6: You're listening, ladies and gentlemen. I don't believe it, but
- 10:07Speaker 6: here it is again that God that done it again
- 10:10Speaker 6: a new day.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Wow.
- 10:13Speaker 2: And guess what he gave it to you again? Wow?
- 10:16Speaker 6: Do you understand that? And I'm telling you so, I'm
- 10:20Speaker 6: gonna tell you something. No matter how many times I
- 10:22Speaker 6: say it, it registers the exact same way with me.
- 10:26Speaker 6: As a matter of fact, it does feel even a
- 10:28Speaker 6: little bit more special when I do say it sometimes
- 10:31Speaker 6: because I really think of the magnitude of what God
- 10:34Speaker 6: is doing for us when he wakes us up every
- 10:37Speaker 6: single day, when He.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Allows you to still be here again, when you have heard.
- 10:43Speaker 6: Time after time after time somebody you know who's not here,
- 10:47Speaker 6: how you've heard of just in the news, somebody who
- 10:50Speaker 6: is no longer here.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Man. I appreciate it. I appreciate it now. We all
- 10:56Speaker 2: got to do it. But I ain't never heard nobody
- 10:59Speaker 2: talk about the dying. Not yet.
- 11:02Speaker 6: I've heard a lot of the benefits of living. So
- 11:05Speaker 6: I'm grateful for the living part of my life. You
- 11:07Speaker 6: should be too, Ladies and gentlemen. Steve Harvey, Mortishoe, Chary Strapberry,
- 11:12Speaker 6: Colin Farrell, Mississippi, Monica Junior and the legend that is
- 11:16Speaker 6: Nephew Tommy Junior.
- 11:18Speaker 2: What is it today?
- 11:19Speaker 8: Man, Yeah, we're under pressure again. It's six days to Valentine.
- 11:25Speaker 8: Do anybody have any idea what these women won't.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Again this year?
- 11:28Speaker 9: Jum, we know we're doing this year? Is it another
- 11:32Speaker 9: is it another gift we got to get now?
- 11:34Speaker 6: Is it?
- 11:34Speaker 9: Is it another dealer?
- 11:36Speaker 2: Is it?
- 11:36Speaker 7: What is it?
- 11:37Speaker 10: Now?
- 11:38Speaker 11: What do we have?
- 11:42Speaker 1: Godly man?
- 11:43Speaker 9: This is all the time.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah hah.
- 11:47Speaker 8: And the problem is because I can't figure out what
- 11:50Speaker 8: to do now. I thought I was amazing the last
- 11:52Speaker 8: time around Christmas. I that went away, that's gone, that
- 11:55Speaker 8: ain't hid no more. Her birthday just passed all. I
- 11:58Speaker 8: thought that was great. Now here we are Valentine's again. Yeah,
- 12:02Speaker 8: oh man, I'm gonna have to come up with something.
- 12:05Speaker 8: Then I got an idea though. If y'all want to hit,
- 12:06Speaker 8: I give it to you. Go ahead, And I got
- 12:08Speaker 8: this best one I got so far.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Let me hear it.
- 12:10Speaker 9: Okay, you know it's on the winds.
- 12:12Speaker 6: Let me say this before you say that. I'm gonna
- 12:14Speaker 6: listen to you as if I was thirty eight.
- 12:19Speaker 8: Okay, here we go. She come home from work. Okay,
- 12:23Speaker 8: I got rolls, petals leading the path. You know, I'm
- 12:27Speaker 8: gonna have a chef come in, make this little dinner.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Leading the path to where to the kitchen and then.
- 12:33Speaker 8: To the living room. It's gonna be a roll pack.
- 12:35Speaker 8: Just follow the path. It's gonna get you something to eat,
- 12:37Speaker 8: and you're gonna go on into the living room. I
- 12:39Speaker 8: got candles lit, you know, I got everything set up.
- 12:43Speaker 8: I got a little box of candy for you, you know.
- 12:45Speaker 8: And then I got the remote and I'm gonna go

- 12:53Speaker 8: gonna watch the Color Purple, and we're gonna have We're
- 12:55Speaker 8: gonna have us a beautiful time with loaded it.
- 12:57Speaker 9: You're gonna feel like we're in the movie theater. It's
- 12:58Speaker 9: gonna feel good because all head.
- 13:00Speaker 8: Is there, you know, all her juju bes is there. Huh.
- 13:07Speaker 6: So you got all the rolls, pedals on the ground,
- 13:10Speaker 6: all these candles, this low lit, this ambios big, and
- 13:13Speaker 6: then y'all fit to watch Color Purple.
- 13:16Speaker 10: Yeah, I thought the movie about a man abusing a walk.

- 14:20Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 14:22Speaker 6: Who's this?
- 14:23Speaker 2: Okay?
- 14:24Speaker 13: Like I said, yeah, my name is Alvin, and I'm
- 14:26Speaker 13: just trying to make sure I got the right person, man,
- 14:28Speaker 13: because you you have black half white right from what
- 14:30Speaker 13: I understand.
- 14:32Speaker 11: Yeah, I'm half like who who the prinsdas? Why why

- 14:43Speaker 13: So check this out, man.
- 14:44Speaker 11: Okay, listen to say. I'm at work, man, say what
- 14:46Speaker 11: you need to say? What's happening?
- 14:48Speaker 2: Okay, listen, I actually dently I said.
- 14:51Speaker 13: I said, tricer some flowers for Valentine's They gonna get
- 14:54Speaker 13: there on Friday. But I accidentally put a you know,
- 14:58Speaker 13: I ordered a gift card along with it, and they
- 15:01Speaker 13: put this gift card in Tricia's gift bag. And really
- 15:05Speaker 13: that's that gift card should really be for my wife.
- 15:07Speaker 13: And I was trying to see it. Maybe if you
- 15:09Speaker 13: get to the gift bag before, maybe you could get
- 15:11Speaker 13: it out for me so I could get that gift card.
- 15:14Speaker 11: Ooh oh okay, So you said you said my wife
- 15:17Speaker 11: flowers for Valentine's Day? Right, do you know what I'm saying? Yeah?
- 15:20Speaker 2: Yeah, But that's not the key. The key is is
- 15:22Speaker 2: that it's a gift card.
- 15:23Speaker 11: In there that I need, you know, and that's been
- 15:26Speaker 11: accidentally saying a gift card to my wife. You just
- 15:29Speaker 11: want the flowers to go to Earth, is that what
- 15:31Speaker 11: you're saying?
- 15:32Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I said the flowers.
- 15:34Speaker 11: Man, Yeah, no problem, No, Yeah, that's cool man, I'm said,
- 15:38Speaker 11: this happens, and we make mistakes all the time. How
- 15:41Speaker 11: about this, how about you come out over and I
- 15:43Speaker 11: will be more than happy to give you the gift card,
- 15:46Speaker 11: because I'm sure you know if you're saying with the
- 15:48Speaker 11: flowers all, I'll just have to hand those a gift
- 15:50Speaker 11: card over to you and probably a nice uh speating
- 15:54Speaker 11: to you. Stupid Why enough would you ever call me
- 15:58Speaker 11: about this?
- 15:59Speaker 2: Hey?
- 15:59Speaker 4: Man?
- 16:00Speaker 2: And I didn't expect all this hospitale an hostility, hey
- 16:06Speaker 2: brouh all. I'm trying to do is like I said.
- 16:08Speaker 11: At Brock, What do you mean you're doing? You didn't
- 16:11Speaker 11: think there's gonna be hostile? You send my flowers? But
- 16:15Speaker 11: how do you even know my way? How do you
- 16:16Speaker 11: know Tresh? How do you know?
- 16:17Speaker 2: Tresh? I work in I work in the building with
- 16:20Speaker 2: that Trish works in.
- 16:21Speaker 7: You work with her? Okay, good, I don't work.
- 16:23Speaker 13: I don't work with her. I don't work for her
- 16:24Speaker 13: company at all. But my my, you know, my floor
- 16:27Speaker 13: is on a different floor. I work in a different company,
- 16:28Speaker 13: but she works she works in the same building. So yeah, dude,
- 16:33Speaker 13: I'm just trying to get the gift card.
- 16:34Speaker 7: Man.
- 16:34Speaker 2: I ain't even trying to trip, dude, I ain't so. Uh.
- 16:37Speaker 11: Let me so, you sent some flowers. When the flower
- 16:40Speaker 11: is going to be here? What time the flowers supposed
- 16:41Speaker 11: to be here?
- 16:42Speaker 13: The flowers getting there sometimes Friday, I'm all Valentine.
- 16:46Speaker 11: Yeah, on Valentine's Day?

- 16:52Speaker 11: And uh, I will give the flowers the trash, and
- 16:54Speaker 11: I will give you the gift cards. And you mentioned
- 16:57Speaker 11: if I was half black or half white, and I'm
- 17:00Speaker 11: I'll go ahead and let you know that both sides
- 17:02Speaker 11: are gonna feature mother, because you got to be the
- 17:05Speaker 11: most ignorant mother I've ever met.
- 17:07Speaker 2: In my gut.
- 17:08Speaker 11: I'm like, I don't care if you're green, blue, yellow, lavender,
- 17:11Speaker 11: I don't know what the you are, but you are
- 17:13Speaker 11: the dumbest piece of sh I've ever met. You come
- 17:15Speaker 11: here Friday. You come here and you get your wife
- 17:17Speaker 11: will get her great gift card, and my wife will
- 17:20Speaker 11: get your flowers and everybody's gonna be happy.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Hey, dude, what's what's all this about? Man? Okay?
- 17:25Speaker 11: So have you gone an hour? Trans you guys wanting
- 17:27Speaker 11: for lunch or you know, maybe a movie or I
- 17:31Speaker 11: mean how how much time have you spent with my wife?

- 17:44Speaker 2: No, I ain't one.
- 17:45Speaker 11: So you just have a crush on my wife? Is

- 24:10Speaker 6: him and the man. Your son is gonna emulate one
- 24:15Speaker 6: of two people. He's gonna either be a good man
- 24:19Speaker 6: or a bad man. Your father seems to be a
- 24:22Speaker 6: good man. Let them have that time. Why you got

- 24:30Speaker 7: Man.

- 24:48Speaker 12: I get that.
- 24:49Speaker 2: I guess it's the freedom you have with one of those. Yeah,
- 24:52Speaker 2: and you gotta let that happen. Man, leave that is long,
- 24:54Speaker 2: Get out to Wade's.
- 24:57Speaker 1: You have to be mad about it.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Why can't I go hang out? Because you ain't a man?
- 25:05Speaker 6: All right?
- 25:05Speaker 12: Moving on to Aliah in Chicago, Leah writes, I had

- 25:18Speaker 12: call before he came. Should I let him continue to
- 25:21Speaker 12: think I had a male visitor?
- 25:23Speaker 2: Ok?
- 25:25Speaker 6: Why don't you just tell him why you don't let
- 25:26Speaker 6: him come over? Yeah, listen to me. Don't play these games.
- 25:29Speaker 6: That's stuff. Back five, that's right. Just say, Look, you
- 25:32Speaker 6: didn't call before you came over. That's what I'm letting in.
- 25:35Speaker 6: But the friend I had over was actually a girl,
- 25:37Speaker 6: and she was helping me clean out my closet. We
- 25:40Speaker 6: was having some We was drinking wine, having a good time.
- 25:43Speaker 6: That's why I didn't let you in. Please don't come
- 25:45Speaker 6: over without calling. It's net every right to set the
- 25:49Speaker 6: rules you want. But you sid talking about sh I
- 25:53Speaker 6: continue to let him think. It wasn't man, Okay, keep going.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Why would you want to do that?
- 25:58Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 25:59Speaker 2: Why would you want to create this truck?
- 26:01Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 26:02Speaker 1: Wow, crazy?
- 26:04Speaker 6: You ain't that fine? I'm telling you we don't care
- 26:06Speaker 6: how fine you are. Once we don't trust your.

- 26:46Speaker 12: meals he's made lately are very bland. I'm five four
- 26:50Speaker 12: and one hundred and twenty five pounds. I don't have
- 26:53Speaker 12: a weight problem, so I pick up food before I
- 26:56Speaker 12: get home. He said, I don't support him.
- 26:58Speaker 14: Do I have to?
- 27:01Speaker 2: But you know, if you don't like what he cooking,
- 27:05Speaker 2: you know, nobody cooking up like.
- 27:09Speaker 6: I've always supported Shirley in her Endeava's business efforts and
- 27:13Speaker 6: stuff like that.
- 27:14Speaker 2: But I'm not gonna eat Shirley cooking.
- 27:18Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do it whatever, man, I'm.
- 27:20Speaker 6: Not gonna do here because she done came in here
- 27:23Speaker 6: with some dishes. Nobody eat no steak in, no damn
- 27:25Speaker 6: crock pie.
- 27:26Speaker 3: It was lamb by the way, damn All the time
- 27:32Speaker 3: we thought, wow, yes I ain't perish years ago, and
- 27:43Speaker 3: you ain't cooked since.
- 27:45Speaker 6: So now this next dish, what that's gonna be no, lady,
- 27:49Speaker 6: you don't have to support that. You want to need
- 27:51Speaker 6: something regular, You don't have a way problem. You can
- 27:52Speaker 6: support him by encouraging him eat, you buy the food
- 27:56Speaker 6: on the way. You know, just encourage him. You don't
- 27:59Speaker 6: have to participate hat.
- 28:00Speaker 1: But you know it might be hard for him.
- 28:02Speaker 12: She's sitting up there eating her you know, big mac
- 28:05Speaker 12: or whatever she's eating in front of this.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Here's what you got.
- 28:10Speaker 6: You know, when they write these letters, you got to
- 28:12Speaker 6: see what's not in the letter. He said, I'm f
- 28:14Speaker 6: five for one. I don't have a weight problem. My
- 28:18Speaker 6: husband got on this really strict die fat boy and
- 28:22Speaker 6: set up there and picked up all this weight. Now
- 28:24Speaker 6: he gotta eat, damn mear nothing like see. He can't

- 29:03Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, We'll have
- 29:05Speaker 1: some entertainment neares for you right after this you're listening
- 29:10Speaker 1: morning show.
- 29:13Speaker 12: We previously told you about Kansas City Chiefs football star
- 29:16Speaker 12: Travis Kelce's backlash surrounding his fade cut well. According to
- 29:21Speaker 12: People dot com, during a pre Super Bowl press conference,
- 29:25Speaker 12: Travis addressed the issue that sparked the news outlet report
- 29:28Speaker 12: on the surging popularity of his cut by calling it
- 29:32Speaker 12: the Travis Kelsey cut. The story was met with social
- 29:35Speaker 12: media backlash for failing to address the styles origin within
- 29:39Speaker 12: of course the black culture.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Take a listen. That was ridiculous, man, It's absolutely ridiculous.
- 29:46Speaker 1: And to do it, and to do it on February first,
- 29:48Speaker 1: to throw media the wolves like that, that was messed up.
- 29:50Speaker 6: Man.
- 29:50Speaker 2: I don't want anything to do with that one.
- 29:52Speaker 13: Man.
- 29:52Speaker 1: I got a good fade if you need it, though.
- 29:54Speaker 2: It's a two on top, a nice high to mid
- 29:56Speaker 2: faye with a taper in the back. But I didn't
- 29:58Speaker 2: invent that. I just asked for first.
- 30:06Speaker 6: And he who for saying it that way, because he
- 30:09Speaker 6: didn't go out and say he invented this. The media
- 30:13Speaker 6: picked it up, The.
- 30:14Speaker 1: New York Times Kelsey cut, Yeah, and.
- 30:18Speaker 2: That dude say I didn't invent nothing, I just got it.
- 30:22Speaker 14: Fast.
- 30:22Speaker 2: For it over to the woolves Old February first, the.
- 30:27Speaker 12: First day he wanted it was good and other entertainment news.
- 30:35Speaker 12: This is according to TMZ. Jesse Smalllett told the Illinois
- 30:39Speaker 12: Supreme Court a deal is a deal and he should
- 30:42Speaker 12: never have been charged and prosecuted a second time over
- 30:45Speaker 12: his twenty nineteen hate crime hoax. Jesse claims after he
- 30:49Speaker 12: was first indicted, the Illinois state attorney offered him a
- 30:53Speaker 12: deal do community service forfeit his bond to the City
- 30:56Speaker 12: of Chicago. Jesse says the reason he was indicted a
- 31:00Speaker 12: second time is because a special prosecutor quote gave in
- 31:03Speaker 12: to public outcry. Jusse argues filing the case a second
- 31:08Speaker 12: time amounts to double jeopardy. And we also remember when
- 31:11Speaker 12: the Olsendaro brothers came forward and testified against Jesse, saying
- 31:16Speaker 12: that he had paid them to orchestrate this whole attack.
- 31:19Speaker 12: Jusse was convicted of five felonies related to the fake
- 31:22Speaker 12: attack and sentenced to serve one hundred and fifty days.
- 31:26Speaker 12: He served six and was released pending appeal. It is
- 31:30Speaker 12: likely that it will be several months before any ruling
- 31:33Speaker 12: is handed down.
- 31:34Speaker 2: So there you know what he's actually correct? Is he
- 31:38Speaker 2: a deal? Is a deal?
- 31:39Speaker 6: If y'all get a dude the deal and he take
- 31:41Speaker 6: a deal that he do the community service, and he
- 31:44Speaker 6: takes the probation, he take all the particulars he do
- 31:47Speaker 6: six you, then that's it.
- 31:48Speaker 2: You can't come back and go we're gonna retry you.
- 31:50Speaker 2: That is w diddler.
- 31:52Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, you know, No, I don't agree with what
- 31:55Speaker 6: he did, but y'all cut the deal so you can
- 31:58Speaker 6: get the conviction. Now you want to double down because
- 32:00Speaker 6: you're a special prosecute.
- 32:02Speaker 2: That ain't right, hoaxes. Y'all, Look it's over with really,
- 32:06Speaker 2: come on, yeah it is.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Yeah, we've moved on. Yeah, deal really ain't. Nobody died.
- 32:13Speaker 1: It was shocking more than anything.
- 32:16Speaker 2: It was a subway sandwich.
- 32:19Speaker 9: Just won't let that go to.
- 32:23Speaker 11: The house.
- 32:29Speaker 2: That's a really good subway commercial.
- 32:32Speaker 6: Man.
- 32:32Speaker 2: If you but you know, a sandwich so good you
- 32:40Speaker 2: could get hung for it.
- 32:50Speaker 1: We're moving on. Thank you for that segue, because we
- 32:53Speaker 1: are moving on right here.
- 32:54Speaker 7: Uh.
- 32:55Speaker 12: Mississippi State auditor Shad White filed court paperwork against Exit
- 32:59Speaker 12: n IF quarterback Brett Farv on Monday, alleging that Farv
- 33:03Speaker 12: still owes the state nearly seven hundred and thirty thousand
- 33:06Speaker 12: dollars in interest. This is all connected to the over
- 33:09Speaker 12: one hundred million dollars in welfare money that was improperly
- 33:13Speaker 12: spent on personal projects. Farv directed welfare designated funds to
- 33:18Speaker 12: go toward a volleyball court for his alma mater, the
- 33:22Speaker 12: University of Southern Mississippi.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Where his daughter played volleyball. Farv already paid the.
- 33:28Speaker 12: State of Mississippi one point one million and two payments,
- 33:31Speaker 12: and he has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing and has not
- 33:34Speaker 12: been criminally charged.
- 33:36Speaker 1: How is this not wrong? Though?
- 33:38Speaker 2: If you paid?
- 33:40Speaker 1: Yeah, how is this not wrong?
- 33:42Speaker 9: So he stole the money, I mean.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Yeah, they're not saying the word stole. Yeah, yeah, go ahead.
- 33:51Speaker 6: In this country, they have created loopholes, and the reason
- 33:56Speaker 6: they're not convicting him is because he jumped through one
- 33:59Speaker 6: of them. He took some welfare funds who you would
- 34:03Speaker 6: think would be for the benefit of the less fortune
- 34:06Speaker 6: in the state of Mississippi, found a way to make
- 34:09Speaker 6: it look like this school was suffering from some type
- 34:13Speaker 6: of misfortune because his daughter and to found a way
- 34:17Speaker 6: to funnel that money into the volleyball program.
- 34:21Speaker 2: And that's the loophole he jumped through.
- 34:24Speaker 6: And the way they worded it in the grant or
- 34:27Speaker 6: all that to get the money made it sid They
- 34:30Speaker 6: legally just did it just right.
- 34:33Speaker 2: And there's a loophole for everything. And that's how they
- 34:35Speaker 2: did it. Man.
- 34:35Speaker 1: I bet is that why he was in charge criminally
- 34:38Speaker 1: charged for stealing? Is that why?
- 34:41Speaker 2: Okay?
- 34:41Speaker 6: Because they if they could charge him for stealing, they would,
- 34:44Speaker 6: but they can't get it together because of the way
- 34:46Speaker 6: it was worried.
- 34:47Speaker 2: And I'm telling you it's a loophole. He got it. Hey, man,
- 34:50Speaker 2: once you get them good lawyers, you get them good
- 34:53Speaker 2: old boys.
- 34:55Speaker 10: Yeahs NFL quarterback use some funds to give back to
- 35:06Speaker 10: a black university at HBCU.
- 35:10Speaker 1: And miss prison. What prison would he be now?
- 35:12Speaker 7: Is that.
- 35:15Speaker 9: Come j twenty years to life?
- 35:19Speaker 6: But see what happened was he gave it to his
- 35:22Speaker 6: old album model, which was Mississippi.
- 35:24Speaker 2: Uh, Southern miss What school?
- 35:27Speaker 1: The University of Southern Mississippi?
- 35:29Speaker 9: So cool?
- 35:30Speaker 6: Now, guess what, that's one of the most powerful schools
- 35:33Speaker 6: in Mississippi. And all the mother rich people's kids was
- 35:36Speaker 6: on that volleyball team too. Kids playing volleyball, Yes.
- 35:42Speaker 12: Southern miss all right, coming up in twenty minutes after
- 35:46Speaker 12: and trending political news. Former President Trump has no presidential
- 35:50Speaker 12: immunity in the January sixth prosecution. We'll talk about that
- 35:53Speaker 12: right after.
- 35:54Speaker 1: This you're listening morning show.
- 35:58Speaker 12: A three judge panel in the the US Court of
- 36:00Speaker 12: Appeals has rejected former President Donald Trump's claim of presidential
- 36:04Speaker 12: immunity as it pertains to his federal twenty twenty election
- 36:08Speaker 12: interference case. The judges wrote, quote, we cannot accept former
- 36:13Speaker 12: President Trump's claim that a president has unbounded authority to
- 36:17Speaker 12: commit crimes that would neutralize the most fundamental check on
- 36:21Speaker 12: executive power, the recognition and implementation of election results. Nor
- 36:27Speaker 12: can we sanction his apparent contention that the executive has
- 36:32Speaker 12: carte blanche to violate the rights of individuals individual citizens
- 36:36Speaker 12: to vote and to have their votes count.
- 36:39Speaker 1: End quote.
- 36:40Speaker 12: Trump faces four counts from the case, including conspiring to
- 36:44Speaker 12: defraud the US and to obstruct an official proceeding, and
- 36:48Speaker 12: he is pleaded not guilty.
- 36:50Speaker 1: So here's what happens next.
- 36:51Speaker 12: The Appeals Court has set up a very fast schedule
- 36:54Speaker 12: for Trump to ask Supreme Court to block community ruling
- 36:58Speaker 12: giving him until Monday to file an emergency stay request
- 37:02Speaker 12: with the court. All right, so it sounds like we're
- 37:06Speaker 12: getting somewhere.
- 37:08Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I'm hearing all of this.
- 37:18Speaker 2: I'm not hearing what I need to hear.
- 37:21Speaker 9: M you need to hear.
- 37:25Speaker 14: Story.
- 37:26Speaker 1: But what do you need to hear?
- 37:27Speaker 2: Steve that he came wrong? Well that and uh, he's gone,
- 37:34Speaker 2: he's been required to check in.
- 37:38Speaker 1: He's so beloved right now.
- 37:42Speaker 9: He is their guy.
- 37:43Speaker 10: It is primary season and it looks like from the
- 37:46Speaker 10: Republican Party he is their guy.
- 37:50Speaker 6: Look like he is and they have to fight vehemently
- 37:53Speaker 6: for him because they have no one else. Their only
- 37:57Speaker 6: chance the Republican Party of beating Jo'biden is Donald Trump.
- 38:02Speaker 2: And I have news for you. If we stop with
- 38:05Speaker 2: this inner hatred, he cannot beat Joe.
- 38:08Speaker 6: Biden because there's quietly a lot of Republicans who just
- 38:13Speaker 6: do not approve of Donald Trump.
- 38:15Speaker 2: A lot.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Yeah, there is.
- 38:17Speaker 6: What we're starting to have is too many damn Democrats
- 38:20Speaker 6: that don't like Joe Biden. Well, Joe ain't the greatest,
- 38:25Speaker 6: but he's he's done enough good stuff. But they don't
- 38:28Speaker 6: do that. Man, they y'all, hey man, y'all let them headfake,
- 38:31Speaker 6: y'all with.
- 38:32Speaker 12: This news man always and the Democrats do not stick together.
- 38:35Speaker 12: You're so right about that.
- 38:37Speaker 2: They so weak, not like the Republicocrats are just weak. Yeah,
- 38:42Speaker 2: scary ass politicians.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Get it done.
- 38:49Speaker 6: I know Republicans is gangster? Hw is Donald Trump the candidate?
- 38:57Speaker 6: All this the one of is mon of immoral people
- 39:01Speaker 6: that you know is immoral. He's singing pornos stars, paying
- 39:06Speaker 6: them off, and you still voting.
- 39:08Speaker 2: For this dude?
- 39:09Speaker 12: He told Yeah, all right, coming up with thirty four
- 39:17Speaker 12: minutes after the hour, we're gonna check your voicemail Steve
- 39:20Speaker 12: eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening morning show.
- 39:27Speaker 12: It is time now to check Steve's voicemail, and if
- 39:29Speaker 12: you would like to leave Steve a message, call him
- 39:32Speaker 12: at eight seven seven twenty nine Steve eight seven seven
- 39:35Speaker 12: twenty nine, Steve.
- 39:36Speaker 1: Uh, Steve's not going to answer the phone. I'm not
- 39:38Speaker 1: gonna lie to you. He's not gonna be there to
- 39:40Speaker 1: answer the phone. But you might just hear your call
- 39:43Speaker 1: on the air. We have people to do that. Yeah,
- 39:45Speaker 1: So are you ready, Steve personal phone?
- 39:48Speaker 9: You do not we know truth know that's real, and.
- 39:52Speaker 12: You can't leave a message on your personal at least
- 39:55Speaker 12: they can leave a personal message here. All right, This
- 39:57Speaker 12: is from a male listener, Steve H for for you
- 40:01Speaker 12: about family.
- 40:02Speaker 5: Good morning, morning crew, and Steve already know you're gonna
- 40:05Speaker 5: get smart after I say this. I have seventeen grandkids
- 40:09Speaker 5: and I know you got a lot of grandkids too.
- 40:11Speaker 5: And I hear that you let them call you pop pa.
- 40:14Speaker 5: Poppa is just too soft man. My grandkids call me granddaddy, granddaddy,
- 40:21Speaker 5: you know, granddaddy, sound max little, granddaddy, sound grand with money?
- 40:26Speaker 6: That's pop Pa.
- 40:27Speaker 5: That is too soft man. And I already know you're
- 40:30Speaker 5: gonna get smart. But anyway, morning crew, y'all had yourself
- 40:33Speaker 5: a blessed ate love y'all.
- 40:36Speaker 6: All right, granddaddy, hear you getting called granddaddy? If you
- 40:41Speaker 6: want to, you say it sound more mastering. It's how
- 40:44Speaker 6: old of me. And you know, and now my grandkids
- 40:47Speaker 6: can call.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Me pop pat that's what they call me.
- 40:50Speaker 6: You want your grandkids you got seventeen, they want to
- 40:52Speaker 6: call you granddaddy and call your.
- 40:54Speaker 2: Old ass what you want to call it.

- 40:59Speaker 6: You know, like slay me though, if you won't call
- 41:07Speaker 6: in here telling me what my grandkids called me. You
- 41:11Speaker 6: got seventeen damn grandkids. You know how long you've been
- 41:13Speaker 6: having grandkids? No answers, probably in granddaddy.
- 41:18Speaker 7: Here.
- 41:18Speaker 2: Somebody probably had.
- 41:19Speaker 14: To dial in for you.
- 41:22Speaker 1: All Right, here we go, we're on.
- 41:24Speaker 2: You're smile with me. Well, if you know that, why'd
- 41:27Speaker 2: you call?
- 41:28Speaker 1: All right, Papa, let's go from sayall.
- 41:35Speaker 2: What you got? Cookie?
- 41:36Speaker 4: Good morning, morning crew.
- 41:37Speaker 14: This is Cookie in San Antonio.
- 41:39Speaker 4: I just have a quick question for Uncle Steve. I
- 41:42Speaker 4: heard the show today and the last story was about
- 41:45Speaker 4: a young lady who had a man who put all
- 41:47Speaker 4: her stuff in the bend under the bed. Now, I
- 41:50Speaker 4: remember you saying the three places the men hid stuff
- 41:54Speaker 4: under the bed in the closet, and at this moment,
- 41:57Speaker 4: I can't remember if it's a medical cabinet.
- 41:58Speaker 11: But what have you.
- 41:59Speaker 7: But if I'm the girl who's.
- 42:01Speaker 4: Watching my man put his stuff in the bed under
- 42:04Speaker 4: the bed, and I'm thinking, well, while you're hiding it,
- 42:08Speaker 4: I just I want to know how well look at
- 42:11Speaker 4: that from that perspective, from what you have taught me
- 42:13Speaker 4: as far as men high stuff under the bed, but
- 42:16Speaker 4: he's putting my stuff under his bed and I would
- 42:20Speaker 4: have a problem with that, but you said, don't read
- 42:22Speaker 4: too much into it.
- 42:23Speaker 1: I would have a problem with that. So what would
- 42:25Speaker 1: I do from that.
- 42:26Speaker 4: Point, because I guess we would have to discuss that.
- 42:29Speaker 4: But I'm just trying to see what the difference is
- 42:31Speaker 4: between stating that men high stuff under the bed. He
- 42:34Speaker 4: possibly could be cheating or hiding it from someone else,
- 42:37Speaker 4: especially if his stuff is everywhere, while you have my stuff,
- 42:40Speaker 4: and yet you said don't look into us. I'm just
- 42:43Speaker 4: curious about that side of it. And God, bless y'all.
- 42:45Speaker 4: I'll listen to y'all every morning. I listened to y'all
- 42:48Speaker 4: my podcast. I thank you so much. A Carlin, you
- 42:51Speaker 4: had me crying when you said you would tear that
- 42:53Speaker 4: whole TV down off the walls.
- 42:54Speaker 1: You turn it out while you're yelling.
- 42:55Speaker 2: Girl, I'm a busted open.
- 42:56Speaker 4: I don't watch TV no way.
- 42:58Speaker 1: God bless y'all.
- 42:59Speaker 2: Have a good well. She sounded like a really nice lady,
- 43:02Speaker 2: and I stand by what I said.
- 43:03Speaker 6: I said, you have the lady, when you dating the man,
- 43:05Speaker 6: you need to look under the bed, in the top
- 43:08Speaker 6: of the back of that closet, in that medicine cabinet.
- 43:10Speaker 2: That's where we hide a lot of stuff.
- 43:12Speaker 6: Now, the fact that he's putting her stuff in the
- 43:15Speaker 6: tumbleware sliding it under the bed could be that he's
- 43:19Speaker 6: hiding stuff, or it could be he just don't have
- 43:21Speaker 6: no room, ain't no more drawers because men don't have
- 43:24Speaker 6: effishing places like we do.
- 43:26Speaker 2: So I could be still true with this, not anything.
- 43:29Speaker 6: And if you have a real problem with it, I
- 43:31Speaker 6: understand you having a problem with it because you might
- 43:33Speaker 6: want to check it out, as the wires got to
- 43:34Speaker 6: be under the bed. But if you look at his
- 43:36Speaker 6: surface area in his house, you might discover that he
- 43:38Speaker 6: has no room for you or he doesn't have an
- 43:40Speaker 6: extra draw Now you can demand that that tumbleware be
- 43:44Speaker 6: put over in the corner next to the plant and
- 43:47Speaker 6: leave it open so he ain't got to be under
- 43:49Speaker 6: the bed. So if in case he having company, other
- 43:51Speaker 6: people will know you over there. Now you go there
- 43:53Speaker 6: if you like, and you can if you want to.
- 43:56Speaker 6: But that's why I said you don't have to read
- 43:58Speaker 6: that much into it. But since you coming at it
- 44:00Speaker 6: from that angle, then maybe you want a demand that
- 44:04Speaker 6: my stuff not be under the bed because I don't
- 44:05Speaker 6: want to get on my knees get my stuff every
- 44:07Speaker 6: time I come over.
- 44:10Speaker 2: I don't know what you want?
- 44:11Speaker 1: All right, thank you. Coming up next is the nephew
- 44:16Speaker 1: with today's prank phone call. Right after this, you're listening
- 44:21Speaker 1: Morning show.
- 44:23Speaker 12: Coming up at the top of the hour, about four
- 44:25Speaker 12: minutes after it's my Strawberry letter for today, and the
- 44:28Speaker 12: subject is her pillow talking made me homeless.
- 44:31Speaker 1: Her pillow talking made me homeless. We'll get into that.
- 44:35Speaker 1: It's not what you think. It's a crazy one, you
- 44:38Speaker 1: know that, though.
- 44:40Speaker 12: That's coming up in a few because right now it
- 44:43Speaker 12: is time for the nephew and today's prank phone call.
- 44:46Speaker 13: What you got for his neph you know, of course,
- 44:48Speaker 13: yesterday's prank was Valentine's Valentine's gift call.
- 44:52Speaker 2: That's what that was. This is just Valentine's prank right here.
- 44:55Speaker 2: Oh okay.
- 44:56Speaker 13: And this is where I call a man and ask
- 44:59Speaker 13: him what he's getting his wife, because I don't want
- 45:02Speaker 13: us to get the same thing, you know what I'm
- 45:04Speaker 13: saying for his I don't want us to buy the
- 45:06Speaker 13: same thing for his wife.
- 45:08Speaker 2: You know.
- 45:08Speaker 13: Ain't no sense of her getting the same thing twice,
- 45:11Speaker 13: you know, And you gotta you gotta hands up.
- 45:14Speaker 1: You want to Yeah, what you getting?
- 45:16Speaker 2: You know, I don't want you know, I get Victor
- 45:19Speaker 2: her secret. You get that too. I don't want us
- 45:21Speaker 2: to do the same thing.
- 45:22Speaker 9: You know, great mind.
- 45:26Speaker 13: Have different gifts, you know, I want to get the
- 45:28Speaker 13: same gift. Yeah, yeah, so that's what it is. Let's
- 45:32Speaker 13: go catch down. Take a listen.
- 45:34Speaker 7: Hello, Hey, I'm trying to reach Travis. Yeah, hey, Travis.

- 45:54Speaker 7: Uh? No, I work with I work with Diane. Man,
- 45:56Speaker 7: I'm getting all the ladies something here in the office.

- 54:07Speaker 12: Thank you nephew subject her pillow talking made me homeless.
- 54:11Speaker 12: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm staying with my sister because my
- 54:15Speaker 12: husband said he needs space. I can't blame him for
- 54:18Speaker 12: how he feels about me, but I can blame my
- 54:20Speaker 12: best friend for what she did to me. I argued
- 54:23Speaker 12: with my husband all during the holidays over the smallest stuff,
- 54:27Speaker 12: and he was on my nerves. When I'm upset, I
- 54:30Speaker 12: have no desire to have sex, so he wasn't getting any.
- 54:34Speaker 12: I told my best friend what I was going through,
- 54:37Speaker 12: and she said she was stuck in a rut too,
- 54:39Speaker 12: and it was time for a girl's trip for the
- 54:41Speaker 12: MLK holiday weekend. We drove one hundred and twenty miles
- 54:45Speaker 12: to a casino and we invited two of our sorority
- 54:48Speaker 12: sisters to join us. One of them is young and hip,
- 54:51Speaker 12: so she knew of all the best restaurants to go to,
- 54:54Speaker 12: and one is wild and single, so she knew which
- 54:57Speaker 12: nightclub to go to. The first night we were all
- 55:00Speaker 12: in my room trying to get dressed to go out,
- 55:02Speaker 12: and the young one just got her boobs done, so
- 55:05Speaker 12: she was showing them off. That's when things got freaky
- 55:09Speaker 12: and we all ended up staying in my room. That
- 55:12Speaker 12: was my first experience, and it was everything. My bestie
- 55:17Speaker 12: has always done threesomes with her husband, so this was nothing.
- 55:20Speaker 9: New to her.
- 55:21Speaker 12: We only did it once, and we all vowed to
- 55:24Speaker 12: keep it between us. But my bestie got home and
- 55:28Speaker 12: started pillow talking with her husband. Her husband jokingly told
- 55:32Speaker 12: my husband, not knowing that I had not told him.
- 55:36Speaker 12: My husband is not down with any of that mess,
- 55:38Speaker 12: and he sees it as me cheating on him. I
- 55:40Speaker 12: love my husband and I want to go back home.
- 55:43Speaker 12: I need solid advice. How do I convince him it
- 55:46Speaker 12: was a big mistake. Well, sorry, but if you're married,
- 55:51Speaker 12: even if it's just with the girls on girls' night
- 55:54Speaker 12: or whatever, it's still cheating. And that's the thing about
- 55:58Speaker 12: lying and cheating and all that stuff, and other people
- 56:00Speaker 12: are involved, You got to ask yourself, who are these people?
- 56:03Speaker 1: Can you really.
- 56:03Speaker 12: Trust them to keep your word and keep their word
- 56:06Speaker 12: and not tell Will they hold it over your head?
- 56:09Speaker 12: Will they read more into it than it really is.
- 56:12Speaker 12: So many variables in this that you have to consider
- 56:15Speaker 12: all of this. It's way more than just freaking. I mean,
- 56:18Speaker 12: the big question is, was this one night of freaky
- 56:22Speaker 12: pleasure with you and the girls?
- 56:23Speaker 1: Was it worth it?
- 56:24Speaker 12: Okay, even though you and your husband are having problems
- 56:27Speaker 12: right now, it's certainly not worth It's just certainly not
- 56:32Speaker 12: worth losing your marriage over.
- 56:33Speaker 1: You still have to be careful. You still have to
- 56:35Speaker 1: be mindful how you move.
- 56:38Speaker 12: These were young, single girls, Okay, they could do whatever
- 56:41Speaker 12: they want to do, and one does threesomes all the time,
- 56:44Speaker 12: So don't be surprised if it went left, and it did,
- 56:47Speaker 12: it really did, I don't know. You got to tell
- 56:50Speaker 12: your husband that it was a mistake, You're sorry, you
- 56:53Speaker 12: were drinking, it got out of hand, you regretted it instantly.
- 56:57Speaker 12: You got to tell them you're never going to do
- 56:58Speaker 12: it again, and if you could take it back, you would,
- 57:02Speaker 12: So you know, see how that goes. And stop trusting
- 57:06Speaker 12: these people. Stop, you know, keep to keep your secrets.
- 57:09Speaker 2: All right.
- 57:10Speaker 1: That's all I got for you, sis, Steve.
- 57:13Speaker 6: Well, Shirley got more for you than I got for you.
- 57:18Speaker 6: I ain't got nothing for you. Well, I don't even
- 57:20Speaker 6: know where to start with this letter right here. I
- 57:22Speaker 6: don't even understand, you know, it's a mess a couple
- 57:26Speaker 6: of things. All I can do is to do is campaisons.
- 57:29Speaker 6: You know, I can't my experiences and other people's ef
- 57:33Speaker 6: I don't really have nothing for you in this.
- 57:34Speaker 2: So let'sten.
- 57:35Speaker 6: Here's my very I'm gonna just admit this. Here is
- 57:39Speaker 6: my fail that teal at trying to help this woman.
- 57:43Speaker 6: But I must preemptised by saying I really don't care
- 57:49Speaker 6: about this letter or this woman or this situation.
- 57:53Speaker 8: Uh.
- 57:53Speaker 6: Now, she started off because something else that's happened. There's
- 57:56Speaker 6: a lot of information missing from this letter. She just said,
- 57:59Speaker 6: I and my sister because my husband said he needs
- 58:02Speaker 6: some space.
- 58:04Speaker 2: Now, and that ain't up.
- 58:06Speaker 6: Now. I can't blame him for how he feels about me,
- 58:10Speaker 6: but I can blame my best friend for what she
- 58:12Speaker 6: did to me.
- 58:14Speaker 2: That's not how you solve problems.
- 58:18Speaker 6: If you are going to point the finger and blame
- 58:21Speaker 6: other people, then you are not gonna own up to
- 58:23Speaker 6: your part of the bargain, or the one part that
- 58:26Speaker 6: you can control, which is your actions. So now already,
- 58:31Speaker 6: this ain't your fault, you know, can't read that because
- 58:35Speaker 6: it's too much light on. Oh okay, now, you and
- 58:41Speaker 6: your husband been going through some things. You know, y'all
- 58:45Speaker 6: was all upset. You know, he been getting on your nerves.
- 58:50Speaker 6: You've been arguing with your husband all doing the holidays,
- 58:53Speaker 6: even you said over the smallest stuff because he was
- 58:57Speaker 6: on my nerves. And when I get upset, I have
- 58:59Speaker 6: no desire to have sex, so he wasn't getting done. Well,
- 59:04Speaker 6: we going to hell right now with this relationship cause
- 59:07Speaker 6: you're arguing about the least of things. You said that,
- 59:10Speaker 6: any little thing, and you ain't having sex. Now you're nagging.
- 59:15Speaker 6: It ain't no makeup. You see what I'm saying.
- 59:18Speaker 2: This is not good.
- 59:20Speaker 6: I told my best friend what I was going through,
- 59:23Speaker 6: and she said she was stuck in the rut too,
- 59:25Speaker 6: and it was time for a girl's trip now here.
- 59:28Speaker 2: It ain't go on Martin Luther King Wiki.
- 59:34Speaker 1: That's terrible, isn't it.
- 59:36Speaker 6: You gonna pick Martin Luther King wiki to go on
- 59:40Speaker 6: a girl's trip to a casino. You drove one hundred
- 59:43Speaker 6: and twenty miles to a casino. You invited two of
- 59:46Speaker 6: your sorority sisters to join us. One of them is
- 59:49Speaker 6: young and he'll so she knew all the best restaurants.
- 59:52Speaker 6: The other one is wild and single, so she knew
- 59:54Speaker 6: all the night clubs to go to. This is unimportant information,
- 59:58Speaker 6: as we are about to find out. The first night,
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: we were all in my room trying to get dressed
- 1:00:02Speaker 6: and go out. The young one that just got a
- 1:00:03Speaker 6: boobs done, so she was showing them off. That's when
- 1:00:07Speaker 6: things got freaky and we ended up staying in my room. Steve,
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: one of the knew all the restaurans was and the
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: one that knew all the clubs was that information, didn't it?
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: Y'all stayed in the room one.
- 1:00:22Speaker 12: Parts two of Steve's response coming up in twenty three
- 1:00:25Speaker 12: minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letter. Subject her pillow
- 1:00:28Speaker 12: talking made me homeless. We'll get back into it right
- 1:00:31Speaker 12: after this.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: You're listening hard morning show.
- 1:00:35Speaker 12: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:38Speaker 12: The subject is her pillow talking made me homeless?
- 1:00:42Speaker 6: The subject is her pillow talking made me homeless? This woman,
- 1:00:46Speaker 6: having problems with her husband anyway, decides to go on
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: the girl trip on Martin Luther King Weekend. All the
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: great weekids. You could blow your marriage.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: That's what you're doing.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: E mail kill weekend.
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: You go down there, y'all drive one hundred and twenty miles.
- 1:01:01Speaker 6: So you invited two of your sorority sisters, one of
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: them young and knew where all the clubs was. One
- 1:01:07Speaker 6: of them young and knew where all the restaurants was.
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: And y'all in your room getting dressed to go out.
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: The girl had just got her boobs done and decided
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: to pull them out and show it to everybody. You said,
- 1:01:21Speaker 6: that's what things got freaking, and we all ended up
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: staying in my room. I have a weekend with my
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: fraternity clubs and we all love fishing. A couple of
- 1:01:35Speaker 6: my boys take their shirt off when they fishing. It
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: has never led to anything. Evidence and one of them
- 1:01:45Speaker 6: take his shirt off. He got man boobs when he fishes,
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: and it still has led to nothing. So but this
- 1:01:55Speaker 6: is a woman's thing, and I understand that operation must
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: have been a huge.
- 1:02:02Speaker 7: Lord.
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: They was right, And then you said that's when it
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: got free, and y'all end up staying in your room.
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: That was my first experience, and it was everything, all
- 1:02:16Speaker 6: capital letters, it was everything. My bestie has always done
- 1:02:20Speaker 6: threesomes with her husband, so this was nothing new to her.
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: We only did it once and we vioved to keep
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: it between us. But my bestie got home and started
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: pillow talking with her husband. Her husband jokingly told my husband,
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: not knowing that I had not told him. My husband
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: is not down with any of that mess, and he
- 1:02:42Speaker 6: sees me as cheating on him. Well, I think he's right.
- 1:02:47Speaker 6: I think he's right. I love my husband.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: I want to go back home.
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: Oh so that's why that's why you staying with your sister.
- 1:02:57Speaker 6: Because your husband say he needs some bathonce. Remember that
- 1:03:00Speaker 6: back at the top of the letter. Well, now I
- 1:03:04Speaker 6: need some solid advice. How do I convince him it
- 1:03:07Speaker 6: was a big mistake. I'm just gonna tell you flat out,
- 1:03:10Speaker 6: I can't help you. I can't help you because see, ladies,
- 1:03:15Speaker 6: now we just have to reverse this. Ladies, let's reverse
- 1:03:20Speaker 6: this letter. If your hug went on the boy's trip
- 1:03:26Speaker 6: and the stripper jumped out the cake and they all
- 1:03:30Speaker 6: ended up having kke.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: Yeah, let him use keep it on it show, let
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: him use keep it morning show him. Please.
- 1:03:44Speaker 6: Let's say the stripper jumps out the cake and they
- 1:03:47Speaker 6: all end up having some cake. How understanding would you
- 1:03:52Speaker 6: be if one of the men that was at the
- 1:03:57Speaker 6: party told his wife because his wife let him have
- 1:04:01Speaker 6: and said, you know, so and so had Kate too,
- 1:04:04Speaker 6: and then you found out that your husband had some
- 1:04:07Speaker 6: strip of cake.
- 1:04:10Speaker 7: And now.
- 1:04:14Speaker 6: Y'all he didn't find out, and now you need some
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: space from him. Can he come back to you? See,
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: I don't know how this works, So I have nothing
- 1:04:25Speaker 6: for you and this stuff. I can't give you no
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: solid advice on how to get back.
- 1:04:31Speaker 7: You did what you did.
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: You got to pay the piper. That's the game, man,
- 1:04:37Speaker 6: it ain't nothing else to it.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: She gambled.
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: It's all good. I'm glad it was everything though they
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: went a yeah, because that everything just cost you everything.
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: Now now your marriage is in trouble because your husband
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: thinks you cheated, and you did it. Don't matter if
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: it was some other women or some other dude. I'm
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: tell you right now, your husband can't come in here
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: and tell you he was with some dudes. He can't
- 1:05:08Speaker 6: come in the house and tell you that. So how
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: you expect you're gonna come here and be able to
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: tell him you was with some girl. Now I do
- 1:05:16Speaker 6: see it different, Oh, I do see it different, because
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: see I understand I see what women see.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: Any other women, because I see the same day. I
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: get it.
- 1:05:32Speaker 6: I know exactly, I know, I know exactly how you
- 1:05:35Speaker 6: felt when you saw that boob job. Yeah, I understand.
- 1:05:42Speaker 6: I understand how you could get worked up and it
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: got freaking I've.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: Been there, you been there.
- 1:05:49Speaker 12: Yes, she's only mad at the other woman though, who
- 1:05:53Speaker 12: has call her?
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: Yes, Well, couldn't she.
- 1:05:59Speaker 10: Just have lied and said her friend's husband lies?
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: Oh no, oh you want to laet.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: It's all right saying just saying it's too late. Now,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: That's what I.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: Tell everybody. Lion is a necessary skill set.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: Yeah, when you do stupid stuff, stupid, I can't help you.
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: Lady. You got bus that was them, That wasn't me.
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: I wasn't in it.
- 1:06:36Speaker 6: It ain't no way in hell out admitted it. You
- 1:06:40Speaker 6: got no video, all right, You ain't got no pictures and.

- 1:07:12Speaker 8: Bowl and it's the Chief's forty nine ers. But you
- 1:07:14Speaker 8: know a lot of people have a super Bowl party,
- 1:07:16Speaker 8: so there need to be some super Bowl rules when
- 1:07:19Speaker 8: you go to people houses that you.

- 1:07:26Speaker 8: the super Bowl designated area.
- 1:07:29Speaker 9: This is not a house to a residency. Were not
- 1:07:31Speaker 9: touring my house. Just stay in this room. This is
- 1:07:34Speaker 9: where everything takes place.
- 1:07:35Speaker 8: Don't ask what's in there. What's in that is none
- 1:07:38Speaker 8: of your damn business. This is all you gonna see
- 1:07:41Speaker 8: at the super Bowl party. Do not Number two, if
- 1:07:44Speaker 8: you a DJ, play music, just old commercials.
- 1:07:48Speaker 9: Stop with the game come back on. This is not
- 1:07:50Speaker 9: about you. DJ is such and such or insert your
- 1:07:53Speaker 9: name here. Were talking to you.
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: It does not matter.
- 1:07:56Speaker 9: Just when its own commercial. Break is only.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: Time you can DJ when the game come back on.
- 1:08:02Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, all of that cut it off. Saint about you.
- 1:08:05Speaker 9: We just need you here for this for commercials?
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: All right, that's it?
- 1:08:10Speaker 9: Or number three, do not bring bad news to the
- 1:08:13Speaker 9: super Bowl party.
- 1:08:14Speaker 8: We don't care unless it's on the injury bort because
- 1:08:17Speaker 8: we don't care if your daddy having surgery, we have
- 1:08:19Speaker 8: nothing to do with that.
- 1:08:20Speaker 9: That does not belong here. Because you're gonna bring.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: The mood down.
- 1:08:23Speaker 9: We ain't here trying to have a good time. You know,
- 1:08:25Speaker 9: my daddy going under. They're gonna take his clean, so
- 1:08:27Speaker 9: what we're down?
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Ten?
- 1:08:29Speaker 9: Okay telling them about your daddy's clean.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: Or at all at all?
- 1:08:36Speaker 9: Mean it's not me the game on I got money.
- 1:08:40Speaker 6: On the line on god bade unless he busted his
- 1:08:43Speaker 6: clean making this tackle, we don't care.
- 1:08:48Speaker 8: I'm on a pine, I'm on a board. Here's one
- 1:08:50Speaker 8: because I know they're coming, so somebody would let them know.
- 1:08:52Speaker 8: Now jehoah winners is save your knocks. We're not coming
- 1:08:55Speaker 8: to the door. We know you're coming, y'all.
- 1:08:57Speaker 9: Talking about you're supposed to watching sports.
- 1:08:58Speaker 8: Well, how you know we all over here because you
- 1:09:00Speaker 8: want to knock on the door because we all in here.
- 1:09:02Speaker 8: They know we're at home. They know that, So don't
- 1:09:05Speaker 8: don't ask me about the Lord today. Matter of fact,
- 1:09:07Speaker 8: the Lord is watching the game right now.
- 1:09:08Speaker 9: Why aren't you?
- 1:09:11Speaker 8: Why aren't you? And then you know, have you heard
- 1:09:13Speaker 8: about it? Was you like a watch tower? No, I'm
- 1:09:15Speaker 8: watching the game. I have something to watch. Don't want
- 1:09:20Speaker 8: no watch tower today? No, here's the last one I have.
- 1:09:24Speaker 8: One hour after the game is over.
- 1:09:27Speaker 13: Leave.
- 1:09:27Speaker 9: Yeah, just an hour after the game.
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: Here's your drink.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: Then gone go home and we'll talk.
- 1:09:32Speaker 9: About it later. I hope you had a great time,
- 1:09:34Speaker 9: but this end. If you do about us, we're not
- 1:09:39Speaker 9: talking about us after this game. Yeah, we ain't talking
- 1:09:45Speaker 9: about us no more.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: That's all.
- 1:09:47Speaker 8: So everybody can have a good time watching this game. Man,
- 1:09:50Speaker 8: this is gonna be a good game. But don't mess
- 1:09:52Speaker 8: it up from all the other question, we're not doing
- 1:09:54Speaker 8: that this year.
- 1:09:55Speaker 9: Just to Shirley, Yeah, we're not doing that.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: Too many rules.
- 1:09:59Speaker 9: Well then don't come.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: Thank you, JUNI you're coming up.
- 1:10:03Speaker 12: At the top of the hour, a woman on social
- 1:10:05Speaker 12: media Steve needs some advice from you. She says, can
- 1:10:08Speaker 12: I teach my boyfriend to be more refined? We'll talk
- 1:10:12Speaker 12: about it right after this.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: You're listening hard morning.
- 1:10:16Speaker 9: Show, all right, Steve.
- 1:10:19Speaker 12: So Evelyn on Facebook says, my boyfriend and I have
- 1:10:23Speaker 12: great chemistry, and he is very charismatic. But he grew
- 1:10:27Speaker 12: up in a very country, backwoods family. He never wore
- 1:10:31Speaker 12: shoes until he started school, and the first time he
- 1:10:34Speaker 12: wore a tuxedo was over the holidays when he went
- 1:10:37Speaker 12: with me and my family to a formal event. It
- 1:10:40Speaker 12: was a little awkward because he doesn't really know anything
- 1:10:43Speaker 12: about how to behave in such a setting, and he
- 1:10:46Speaker 12: knows nothing about etiquette. I really love him, but I
- 1:10:50Speaker 12: need to be able to fit him into my social circle.
- 1:10:55Speaker 12: Is it unrealistic to think that I can teach a
- 1:10:58Speaker 12: grown man to be more ref find?
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: Absolutely, Marjorie did it to me.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: But you did wear shoes, and you know how.
- 1:11:06Speaker 6: Well well he wears shoes too. He didn't want none
- 1:11:09Speaker 6: until he was six, but he wears shoes too. But
- 1:11:11Speaker 6: like you know how many banquets we done went too
- 1:11:14Speaker 6: and I and I.
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: Get the wrong bread or I get the wrong.
- 1:11:17Speaker 6: Water cup because you know, you be sitting at that table,
- 1:11:20Speaker 6: and you sitting there had your name at the I
- 1:11:26Speaker 6: drink got everybody water, I got, I got, I got
- 1:11:31Speaker 6: wine in the water glass. So so Marjorie taught me
- 1:11:37Speaker 6: this right here. She says Steve. When you sit down
- 1:11:39Speaker 6: at the table, do this on your lap right here,
- 1:11:43Speaker 6: Do this right here. And if you put this, if
- 1:11:46Speaker 6: you do this right here, if you make an okay
- 1:11:48Speaker 6: sign and put it in your lap. One of those
- 1:11:51Speaker 6: signs is a B and the other one is a D.
- 1:11:54Speaker 6: Put them in your lap. The B is your bread,
- 1:11:58Speaker 6: your butter.
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: Okay, you D is your drinks.
- 1:12:03Speaker 6: All the glasses on this side is all your drinks,
- 1:12:05Speaker 6: your wine glass, your water glass, every over here, over there,
- 1:12:09Speaker 6: this is your bread and your butter.
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: Stop eating them people, breads. She told me that. Let
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: me teach that to dude. Teach that.
- 1:12:23Speaker 6: You just got to say, hey, look, let's go over
- 1:12:24Speaker 6: a couple of things when we go to the banquets,
- 1:12:27Speaker 6: when when we go out to dinner, this is how
- 1:12:30Speaker 6: it's done.
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: And he'll do it. Okay.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: So does she have to say it in any sort
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: of way, you know, be gentle.
- 1:12:38Speaker 6: With it, or yeah there you baby. I love you,
- 1:12:41Speaker 6: But when we go out, I know it's a little
- 1:12:42Speaker 6: awkward from you. So I just want to help you out.
- 1:12:45Speaker 6: I'm just going to tell it.
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: Don't crush nag.
- 1:12:48Speaker 6: I'm sick of you. Will cut your ass. We didn't
- 1:12:51Speaker 6: the wrong damn bread or ball. And if you take
- 1:12:56Speaker 6: another crown leg and stumping on the ground, that's what
- 1:12:59Speaker 6: these crackers as full.
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: Stop putting the crab lands in and fro stumping on them.
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: All right, listen to me. It's water. Is your water?
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: Stop slurping, stop doing.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: That, Stop talking with food in your mouth. All right,
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: we have time for another one.
- 1:13:22Speaker 6: When you're talking quick pointing with your utensel, you're talking.
- 1:13:30Speaker 9: At the table, y'all, did you already do that to
- 1:13:32Speaker 9: somebody else.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: In your plate?
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: You do? What wrong with it?
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: We have time for another one. This is from Jamiica
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: on Facebook.
- 1:13:42Speaker 12: She says, my mom passed away about six years ago,
- 1:13:44Speaker 12: and in the last couple of years I have highly
- 1:13:46Speaker 12: encouraged my dad to get back out there and try dating.
- 1:13:50Speaker 12: He's still young ish and deserves to have someone in
- 1:13:53Speaker 12: his life. Well, a few months ago he met a
- 1:13:55Speaker 12: woman and.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: He is falling for her. But I have two problems
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: with her.
- 1:14:00Speaker 12: For one, she's about my age, and two her occupation
- 1:14:04Speaker 12: is a quote fitness influencer who isn't very successful. My
- 1:14:09Speaker 12: dad is nearing retirement and I'm afraid this woman is
- 1:14:12Speaker 12: trying to take advantage of him financially. I'm afraid to
- 1:14:15Speaker 12: say anything because I could be wrong, and I wouldn't
- 1:14:17Speaker 12: want to interfere in my dad's love life. Also, I
- 1:14:20Speaker 12: don't know whether or not this relationship will go anywhere. Anyway,
- 1:14:24Speaker 12: what do you think I should do?
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: She a fitness influencer. It's working out for you, daddy.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: I did that right, Yeah, daddy?
- 1:14:38Speaker 4: Huh.
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: You wanted your daddy to get out there and now
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: he out there.
- 1:14:41Speaker 6: Now he ain't out there because you ain't happy because
- 1:14:43Speaker 6: of girl kind of your age, but happening a mid
- 1:14:46Speaker 6: life crisis. It's going to pass. She ain't gonna stay
- 1:14:48Speaker 6: with him, and she gonna get the money to feel
- 1:14:51Speaker 6: her sight. That's what's going on.
- 1:14:54Speaker 12: Okay, all right, all right, Well we'll have more of
- 1:14:57Speaker 12: the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at twenty minutes
- 1:14:59Speaker 12: after the hour, right after this.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: You're listening Morning show, all right.
- 1:15:07Speaker 12: So, Snoop Dogg, I'm sure you guys have heard about
- 1:15:09Speaker 12: this and Master P have sued Walmart and Post Foods
- 1:15:13Speaker 12: for allegedly sabotaging the success of Snoop Cereal.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: Snoop and Master P have.
- 1:15:20Speaker 12: Hired attorney Benjamin Crump, our friend and family member.
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: To the law suit of.
- 1:15:28Speaker 12: Legends that Post Foods use deceptive practices to sabotage the
- 1:15:32Speaker 12: success of Snoop Cereal, such as intentionally holding boxes of
- 1:15:36Speaker 12: Snoop Cereal in the stock rooms marked with quote no
- 1:15:40Speaker 12: location quoting, preventing them from being placed on store shelves.
- 1:15:44Speaker 12: I haven't been to Walmart for a minute, but when
- 1:15:46Speaker 12: I was there, I didn't see Snoop Cereal on the shelf.
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: That's delivery. Come on, get it done.
- 1:15:52Speaker 9: Come on, Crump, Yeah, yes, come on this show it
- 1:15:56Speaker 9: to us. All about it? Stay day did again? Stay
- 1:16:00Speaker 9: and took Snoop cereal and put it in the back
- 1:16:02Speaker 9: of Wallmart.
- 1:16:03Speaker 8: Steve, this from what it is. Gonna stop stinging. This
- 1:16:06Speaker 8: don't make no sense. But I'll tell you what, Steve,
- 1:16:09Speaker 8: Justice will be dumb or tail.
- 1:16:11Speaker 9: Steve.
- 1:16:12Speaker 8: We'll not gonna stand by and take cereals in the back.
- 1:16:16Speaker 8: Snoop Dog deserves to have his cereals up front, like
- 1:16:20Speaker 8: he should be right next to Frock the sakes turning
- 1:16:23Speaker 8: up cereal. He should be right there, Steve. We're gonna
- 1:16:26Speaker 8: say to it and thank you for letting you your platform.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: A thank you, attorney, Crump. Thank you coming up in
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: thirty three minutes the hour, we'll play around of would
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: you rather it is right, Syria?
- 1:16:43Speaker 9: What places us justice to another? Cereal? Steve, We're not
- 1:16:46Speaker 9: gonna do.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: You're listening hard morning show. It's time now, guys for
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: a round.
- 1:16:52Speaker 12: And would you rather would you rather use lemon juice
- 1:16:55Speaker 12: for eye drops or poison ivy to the paper?
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: Oh?
- 1:17:01Speaker 13: No, we gotta get that lemons, yeah, limages, Yeah, I
- 1:17:04Speaker 13: can't put that pison ivy.
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: No, I'm not putting a thing in my.
- 1:17:15Speaker 9: Right there, So you just hold family feud.
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: Broke out a couple of days off. Sit somewhere with
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: my legs walking, real face.
- 1:17:32Speaker 6: You have got to get some cool air on it, though,
- 1:17:35Speaker 6: I can tell you that I'd have been in some
- 1:17:37Speaker 6: poison ivy before.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: To get some cool air on it and water.
- 1:17:46Speaker 4: All right?
- 1:17:46Speaker 12: Would would you rather go around the club and drink
- 1:17:50Speaker 12: all of the half finished drinks? Or would you rather
- 1:17:53Speaker 12: go to the waffle house and eat all of the
- 1:17:55Speaker 12: half eating food?
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: Oh, I'm not doing I'm not doing that one of them. You,
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: I'm not doing that, serve.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: Which would you go ahead of.
- 1:18:15Speaker 6: Ju ju?
- 1:18:18Speaker 9: Allowed to eat them up? Did waffle house sound good?
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: To me, you're hungry.
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: There's been eight ball. These people gotta pick one wrap.
- 1:18:33Speaker 13: They didn't choose stuff and took something and laid it
- 1:18:35Speaker 13: on the plate.
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: The one you ain't got no dog in its face. No, no,
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: he got to pick one.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: You gotta pick. That's the game.
- 1:18:44Speaker 9: House, that's the game.
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 1:18:48Speaker 6: Right, I'm gonna sit down here, waffle house hairfully about
- 1:18:59Speaker 6: the time you go around that club drinking drink or
- 1:19:04Speaker 6: you're gonna have so many damn diseases?
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: Would you rather burn your tongue every time you eat?
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: Or stub your toe every time you walk?
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: No, tongue. I can't lie that stubbing your toe as
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: a beast man, I don't like that every time you.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: Walk, every time you walk every.
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: Time, or you know how mad you're gonna be at yourself? Yeah,
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: burn my tongue.
- 1:19:42Speaker 9: Yeah, that's hard to.
- 1:19:47Speaker 7: Tell you.
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: That toe when I eat, that'll put you down on
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: your knees sometimes.
- 1:19:54Speaker 12: All right, guys, that's today's round of would you rather?
- 1:19:58Speaker 14: Thank you?
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: Now?
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: Coming up in forty nine minutes after the.
- 1:20:01Speaker 12: Hour, our last break of the day, and we will
- 1:20:03Speaker 12: close out the show with the one and only Steve
- 1:20:05Speaker 12: Harvey right after this, you're listening Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 1:20:11Speaker 12: here we are our last break of the day, Steve.
- 1:20:15Speaker 12: We have an email from a listener in Chicago from
- 1:20:18Speaker 12: V one o three point from v one o three
- 1:20:21Speaker 12: dot com and she says, good morning. I want to
- 1:20:25Speaker 12: give Steve a thumbs up. On the end of the
- 1:20:27Speaker 12: show comments on February sixth, you know how you talked
- 1:20:31Speaker 12: about as black people we put each other down. Well,
- 1:20:34Speaker 12: she says, if I hadn't been on the freeway, I
- 1:20:36Speaker 12: would have had to stop and do a praise dance.
- 1:20:39Speaker 12: And I say the same thing to our people and
- 1:20:41Speaker 12: young folks. We destroy each other with that little membrane
- 1:20:46Speaker 12: called the tongue. Thank you for your comments and encouragements
- 1:20:49Speaker 12: each morning. That's one hundred, Diane B. From Chicago.
- 1:20:54Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, you know, And I'm really really concerned that
- 1:20:57Speaker 6: we may not be able to turn this tree nd
- 1:20:59Speaker 6: around because the devil has convinced so many people that
- 1:21:06Speaker 6: clicks and likes is the way to become successful. There
- 1:21:13Speaker 6: is a cost factor to that. There's a cost factor
- 1:21:17Speaker 6: to us, and it's a cost factor to you. And
- 1:21:20Speaker 6: it's no good either way. And I think there's a
- 1:21:24Speaker 6: man that's about to learn that lesson. You know, just
- 1:21:27Speaker 6: because you throw a podcast that gets blow up numbers.
- 1:21:30Speaker 6: I'm talking about out of sky high numbers, you're gonna
- 1:21:34Speaker 6: double down and you're gonna start bringing on people on
- 1:21:36Speaker 6: your podcast who you know have a negative message. And
- 1:21:40Speaker 6: you think that by doing that that that's gonna make
- 1:21:44Speaker 6: you who you want to be. I got bad news
- 1:21:46Speaker 6: for you, brother. You head it in the wrong direction,
- 1:21:49Speaker 6: and I feel sorry for you. But and if that's
- 1:21:52Speaker 6: what we're gonna do as old ass people, we are
- 1:21:55Speaker 6: surely sending the wrong message to young people. You can't
- 1:21:59Speaker 6: be called and people look up to you by calling
- 1:22:02Speaker 6: you unk, and then you turn around and then you
- 1:22:04Speaker 6: mislead them.
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: That ain't cool, man, that is just not cool. Brother.
- 1:22:10Speaker 6: I feel badly for you, man, going the wrong way, partner.
- 1:22:13Speaker 6: But you're gonna find out though, because that's a simple scripture.
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:22:17Speaker 6: The Bible is very basic. But you know, I remember
- 1:22:19Speaker 6: that script you learned in Sunday School. Do onto others
- 1:22:22Speaker 6: that you would have them do unto you. You think
- 1:22:25Speaker 6: that don't apply to adult, well, all right, as you
- 1:22:32Speaker 6: would have them do unto you. So the beat goes on.
- 1:22:37Speaker 12: Yeah, all right, and we also have a caller. Thank
- 1:22:39Speaker 12: you for that, Steve Brandon from Welch, West Virginia. I
- 1:22:43Speaker 12: think you know about these parts.
- 1:22:47Speaker 14: Hey see, this is Brandon Coffee. I'm working down here
- 1:22:50Speaker 14: in Welch, West Virginia and just driving around the town. Dude,
- 1:22:52Speaker 14: I'm just wondering, like, it's too crazy to imagine that
- 1:22:55Speaker 14: you used to live here, and I wanted to know, like,
- 1:22:58Speaker 14: how'd you make it from here around here? Doesn't seem
- 1:23:01Speaker 14: like there's very many possibilities or changes you can talk
- 1:23:04Speaker 14: about down on the line. That'd be awesome, man, have
- 1:23:07Speaker 14: great days.
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: Well, I'm gonna tell you, man.
- 1:23:10Speaker 6: West Virginia is in a county, McDowell County, that's one
- 1:23:15Speaker 6: of the poorest counties in the United States.
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: It really is.
- 1:23:20Speaker 6: Donald Trump went down there, so all through West Virginia
- 1:23:23Speaker 6: and got all they votes. Now they voted for Obama,
- 1:23:27Speaker 6: but he can turn it around and got all they
- 1:23:29Speaker 6: votes because he promised them he would bring the oil back,
- 1:23:32Speaker 6: I mean bring coal mining back. Coal mining is dead, man,
- 1:23:37Speaker 6: and he lied to those people and it's still very
- 1:23:40Speaker 6: a very very suppressed.
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: Part of the of the country. How I made it
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: out time you flat out?
- 1:23:51Speaker 6: But by the grace of God, because I ain't got
- 1:23:56Speaker 6: no other success story to point to you from down there,
- 1:23:58Speaker 6: and you are right and you think it's nothing now.
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: It was less then it was tough man, how old? Yeah?
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: I forgot when you left? What five? Okay?
- 1:24:12Speaker 6: The first time I flushed the toilet was on Wade
- 1:24:16Speaker 6: Park one hundred and five in Wade Park in Cleveland.
- 1:24:19Speaker 6: House soon then flushed that toilet over and over. I
- 1:24:23Speaker 6: never flushed the toilet in my life. So I had
- 1:24:26Speaker 6: never turned on a water fountain, a faucet. We had
- 1:24:30Speaker 6: a well pump in our house. Your mama had to
- 1:24:34Speaker 6: stand there and pump like that and then water would
- 1:24:36Speaker 6: come up into the kitchen into the pail.
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: We never ran a bath tub. I took all my
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: baths in the number two washtub.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: In West Virginia.
- 1:24:46Speaker 6: Never set on the toilet, went across the across the
- 1:24:49Speaker 6: road to our house, never set on the toilet, never
- 1:24:52Speaker 6: knew what it was.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: So how you made it was leaving basically your family.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: I mean that's what Brian is saying. How did you
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: make it here?
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: Well, how we left was we had to leave. Mm hmmm,
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: so my daddy did.
- 1:25:09Speaker 12: We had Oh, okay, okay, And how did you end
- 1:25:14Speaker 12: up in Cleveland?
- 1:25:15Speaker 6: Then from there because my father's sister, aunt Kat lived
- 1:25:18Speaker 6: here in Cleveland.
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: But first we had to go to d C. Then
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: we had to go to Cleveland.
- 1:25:26Speaker 6: And you know, it wasn't no forensic science back then,
- 1:25:28Speaker 6: so you couldn't track and trade people.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: What telling too much going on.
- 1:25:36Speaker 9: It's we on the underground railroad, too much.
- 1:25:41Speaker 6: Statue of limitation being going. Plus you can't do none
- 1:25:43Speaker 6: of My daddy he gone, oh he got way with this.
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: Well, Brandon, there you have it from the fellow west.
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: Uh.

- 1:26:09Speaker 7: Remember?
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: Remember you have a hello, maybe it should take us
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: out or something.
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: Swell, what are you gonna say?
- 1:26:21Speaker 9: Careful?
