- 1:43Speaker 1: you have got to turn them out, the turnout, turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water got come come on your tha
- 2:01Speaker 1: uh huh, I shall will. Good morning everybody. You're listening
- 2:05Speaker 1: to the voice, Come on dig me now, one and
- 2:08Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man. What an
- 2:13Speaker 1: amazing blessing. God has given me, my health, my dreams,
- 2:20Speaker 1: all of it. God gave it to me. I accept it.
- 2:24Speaker 1: I work hard, but man on, man on, man, I
- 2:28Speaker 1: work hard is something that He gave me a gift.
- 2:31Speaker 1: And that's what I want to talk to you about today,
- 2:34Speaker 1: because God has gifted everyone, so I can't help but
- 2:38Speaker 1: believe it. You are gifted in some way. Something about
- 2:42Speaker 1: you it's specially and unique. That doesn't mean you're the
- 2:46Speaker 1: only one that can sing, or you the only one
- 2:48Speaker 1: that can write? Are you the only one that can draw,
- 2:50Speaker 1: You're the only one that can decorate, or you're the
- 2:53Speaker 1: only one that can network, or you're the only one
- 2:56Speaker 1: that that's not what it means. Or you have a
- 2:58Speaker 1: great scientific mind, or you can figure things out, or
- 3:01Speaker 1: you're good and problem solving. You're not the only one,
- 3:03Speaker 1: but you are a unique individual. Nobody will travel the
- 3:06Speaker 1: exact path that you're own. Nobody will have everything happened
- 3:09Speaker 1: in a series of circumstances in the order that you're
- 3:14Speaker 1: going to have it happened to you. That's what I
- 3:16Speaker 1: mean when I say that you are unique. But now
- 3:20Speaker 1: because you are gifted, you know you have something you
- 3:23Speaker 1: have to do. You know, there's a scripture. It's in Proverbs,
- 3:27Speaker 1: Proverbs eighteen and sixteen. I've been trying to be a
- 3:30Speaker 1: little bit better at that for you, you know. So
- 3:32Speaker 1: when I have an idea and I know where it is,
- 3:35Speaker 1: I have somebody looked the scripture up from it handed
- 3:37Speaker 1: to me. So it's in Proverbs eighteen sixteen. And this
- 3:41Speaker 1: is the layman's term of it. It says a man's
- 3:44Speaker 1: gift make room for him and brings him before great men.
- 3:49Speaker 1: It is your gift that will make room for you.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Now my interpretation of this is this. Now I could
- 3:55Speaker 1: be wrong. Please go to your local church Synder God
- 3:59Speaker 1: Temple Mos Court, you do and go get clarification. But
- 4:03Speaker 1: what my gift has done in making room for me
- 4:06Speaker 1: is I've taken it almost in the literal sense. My
- 4:09Speaker 1: gift has actually made room for me. It has cleared
- 4:12Speaker 1: paths for me. My gift has opened up doors for me.
- 4:16Speaker 1: That's what I take it as. It'll make room for you.
- 4:19Speaker 1: My gift has is broadened my ability to travel. My
- 4:23Speaker 1: gift has opened my eyes to fashion. My gift has
- 4:29Speaker 1: caused me to be able to provide for my family.
- 4:33Speaker 1: My gift has caused me to be able to reach
- 4:37Speaker 1: more people. That's what I'm saying in terms of it
- 4:39Speaker 1: will make room for you. That it may be another interpretation.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I'm just telling you how I took it, that it's
- 4:44Speaker 1: worked out pretty good for me to that understanding. But
- 4:47Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure Bishop Jake's, Joel Oldstein Ken If Alma,
- 4:51Speaker 1: you know God, Glenn Staples, Bishop Glenn Stables, these guys
- 4:54Speaker 1: give you much better understanding of it. I'm just giving
- 4:57Speaker 1: it to you. You know where I know how I
- 4:59Speaker 1: sold you, I don't. I just like to keep it
- 5:01Speaker 1: right there. But and then it says that it brings
- 5:04Speaker 1: you before great men. I mean, you know, it's gonna
- 5:08Speaker 1: take you places. It's gonna take you places you never
- 5:11Speaker 1: thought of going. You're gonna meet people because of your gift.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I told my son, who two of them are good photographers,
- 5:18Speaker 1: You'll be taking pictures of great men. And then I
- 5:21Speaker 1: messed with him. You're already taking pictures, say your daddy,
- 5:23Speaker 1: you know I'm messing with him like that. But that's
- 5:24Speaker 1: just me and them, just kicking it. But you know,
- 5:27Speaker 1: but one day, who knows, you could be shooting the president.
- 5:30Speaker 1: You know, you could be shooting some foreign dignitaries. You know,
- 5:33Speaker 1: you could be shooting great sport events. You know, you
- 5:35Speaker 1: never know where it could take you. But that's your guift.
- 5:38Speaker 1: What you gotta do is you gotta get to move
- 5:40Speaker 1: and though. See, you can't have your gift and not
- 5:43Speaker 1: do nothing with it. See. You know what that reminds
- 5:45Speaker 1: me of. It's something that my father used to say,
- 5:50Speaker 1: get up off your butt because you're sitting on a
- 5:53Speaker 1: gold mine. He's say that all the time. Boy, get
- 5:56Speaker 1: up off your butt and move it, because you're sitting
- 5:59Speaker 1: on a gold I never really quite got that when
- 6:01Speaker 1: I was little, but now that I'm an adult, I
- 6:03Speaker 1: got it full. Well. See, a lot of you are
- 6:06Speaker 1: sitting You're sitting on a talent or a gift that
- 6:09Speaker 1: you have. You're sitting on an ability. I don't care
- 6:12Speaker 1: if it's making cakes or pies. That's a gift man,
- 6:16Speaker 1: that's a talent. I don't care. If it's the ability
- 6:18Speaker 1: to do how that's a gift. Man. Half of you
- 6:21Speaker 1: are gifted. A lot of us are gifted, and we're
- 6:24Speaker 1: sitting on it, looking at other people wondering what can
- 6:27Speaker 1: I do to make it? You already got something to
- 6:30Speaker 1: make it with. If you would just get up off
- 6:32Speaker 1: your behind, man, quits sitting on that gold mine. Some
- 6:36Speaker 1: of you are tech savvy, just a whiz is when
- 6:40Speaker 1: it comes to engineering and putting stuff together and cables
- 6:43Speaker 1: and wires and computers and stuff. And now you steady
- 6:46Speaker 1: looking around trying to figure out, Man, wonder what I
- 6:49Speaker 1: can go do? How about you go do that? You
- 6:52Speaker 1: know it ain't that hard, man, if you would just
- 6:55Speaker 1: take note of what God has given you already, He
- 6:58Speaker 1: has given you a giftft already, He has already given
- 7:02Speaker 1: you a talent. Now the fact that you ain't using
- 7:04Speaker 1: it and you're sitting on your tail somewhere now, who
- 7:08Speaker 1: fathers what we're talking about? Well, what you're blaming God
- 7:13Speaker 1: for that? Man? I tell you what. I sit around
- 7:16Speaker 1: people all the time who are gifted, and I'm looking
- 7:21Speaker 1: at their gifts, and they steady complaining about what they
- 7:24Speaker 1: don't have, but will not get up off there behind
- 7:28Speaker 1: and use the gifts that God gave them. And it's frustrating.
- 7:32Speaker 1: It's gotta be frustrating for you if you're doing it,
- 7:35Speaker 1: because it's frustrating for me when I see it. So
- 7:38Speaker 1: when these people come to me and ask me for help,
- 7:40Speaker 1: I just keep going the same thing over and over.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Help yourself, man, do for you use your gift. It's
- 7:46Speaker 1: a cat sitting behind the wall right now that's locked up.
- 7:50Speaker 1: That's so good at artistry. It's cats in that tattoo
- 7:53Speaker 1: and everybody, man, get out, do it the right way.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Quit selling drugs, man, You ain't going are selling no drugs.
- 8:01Speaker 1: You're going to jail. And if that don't do it,
- 8:03Speaker 1: somebody gonna get tired of you selling drugs because they're
- 8:05Speaker 1: gonna want to sell them over and they're gonna kill you.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Let's just keep this thing real for just a second here.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Come on, man, get up off your butt because you're
- 8:12Speaker 1: sitting on the gold mine, and you're sitting up here,
- 8:15Speaker 1: somebody always looking for a shortcut to the top. Ain't
- 8:17Speaker 1: no shortcut. Somebody told me this the other day. Man,
- 8:20Speaker 1: the road to success is always under construction. It ain't paved,
- 8:27Speaker 1: it's got detour signs on it. It's got slow men working.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Sometimes they flip the stop sign. You gotta sit there
- 8:35Speaker 1: and wait. Sometime they got slow. That's traffic. That's accidents.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Somebody on the road holding up things with a flat tie,
- 8:43Speaker 1: its nails, its gravels, This spike's everything. The road to
- 8:47Speaker 1: success is always under construction. It ain't getting ready to
- 8:52Speaker 1: be easy just because you didn't decided to do it.
- 8:54Speaker 1: But don't sit around on your behind and complain all
- 8:57Speaker 1: the time about what you don't have. My daddy said it, man,
- 9:01Speaker 1: get up off your butt because you're sitting on a
- 9:03Speaker 1: gold mine. You got a gift, you got a talent,
- 9:06Speaker 1: You got something that you can do that could make
- 9:09Speaker 1: a way for you, but you won't do it. It
- 9:12Speaker 1: is within you. Stop looking around. Here's where people waste
- 9:16Speaker 1: the most time on the road to success, looking around
- 9:19Speaker 1: at somebody else, trying to figure out man, how can
- 9:23Speaker 1: I do what they did? Do what you do? You
- 9:26Speaker 1: ain't jay Z, You ain't sorry. I got a couple
- 9:31Speaker 1: of your homies told you you rap better than him.
- 9:33Speaker 1: But you're not jay Z. Really you're not. You know
- 9:36Speaker 1: all of us then shot at him, but we ain't
- 9:38Speaker 1: Richard Pryor a nice shot, Steve, Bernie Die, all of
- 9:43Speaker 1: we took some great shots at it. We're not him.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Do what you can do? Do you do your gift quick?
- 9:51Speaker 1: Complaining about what you don't have. Get up off your
- 9:54Speaker 1: butt because you're sitting on a gold mine. You're listening
- 9:59Speaker 1: Steve Harpy Morning Show. Come on in the room, Come
- 10:07Speaker 1: on in the room. I'm sorry. Like this felt like
- 10:15Speaker 1: having a radio devotion this moment. My soul looks back
- 10:18Speaker 1: and wonder how I got over. As you know last year,
- 10:25Speaker 1: the church brought me this glove so that I may
- 10:28Speaker 1: have healing power that makes me laugh every time. What's up?
- 10:36Speaker 1: Let me speak this here about it? This morning person
- 10:38Speaker 1: call of Farrell. Yeah, good moment sounds like us. Mister Tippe, Montica,

- 11:04Speaker 1: the time? Just so Doug, don't you feel like when
- 11:06Speaker 1: they come to off call, don't you feel like you
- 11:09Speaker 1: know people that need to be up there and he
- 11:10Speaker 1: don't go you see him? Oh yeah, yeah, you excuse me.
- 11:14Speaker 1: You stay in there, stay sitting in the pew and
- 11:16Speaker 1: know they need to get on up there. Ye y'all judging,
- 11:19Speaker 1: y'all judging in the same dog gone, well, yes, but
- 11:24Speaker 1: up there you know you need stay and you sitting here,

- 11:43Speaker 1: I got a whooping when I was twelve because I
- 11:45Speaker 1: was I was I was preaching alone with the preacher,

- 11:54Speaker 1: beat my mom wa beat my butt right there in
- 11:56Speaker 1: that pew. Boy, what did you say? That? Got it?
- 11:59Speaker 1: What that? Because he died and didn't it die? He
- 12:04Speaker 1: died and she did volpe again to walk down the
- 12:07Speaker 1: street to the rufe. He died until dead volpe begin
- 12:11Speaker 1: to hill. He died until he died, and then and
- 12:16Speaker 1: then when he got what he got, And then I said,
- 12:19Speaker 1: didn't he die? And we said it at the same time.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Didn't he die? Oh my God? And my mama fell
- 12:26Speaker 1: out right there with me. Boy, I would have got
- 12:29Speaker 1: my Yes, yes, you should have. He said, he died
- 12:34Speaker 1: till mountains, beginning to skip around like a lamb. I
- 12:36Speaker 1: mean I had it down. I had the whole sermon down.
- 12:44Speaker 1: I tried to stay out. I tried. I tried to
- 12:46Speaker 1: stay at home with my dad, but I had to
- 12:47Speaker 1: go in there. Gear. I didn't say nothing. He preached
- 12:51Speaker 1: the same sam and she looked at me, and I

- 28:33Speaker 1: talking about. Kesha, you talked, you talked to Kesha. This
- 28:40Speaker 1: is just all the time, just talking about Yo. Why
- 28:47Speaker 1: is he talking though? That's just shut up day. I'm
- 28:56Speaker 1: disappointed to need people. I'm proud to you thought. Oh

- 30:03Speaker 1: whole relationship. All they were doing was saying hi and
- 30:06Speaker 1: greeting each other, but the trolls said they were dating
- 30:10Speaker 1: and all of this. Nia was quick to laugh it
- 30:12Speaker 1: off and shut down the rumors. On an I G post,
- 30:15Speaker 1: she said, everybody simmer down. I'm single af okay, rights,
- 30:21Speaker 1: I could do what I want and be with who
- 30:23Speaker 1: I want, you know, and yeah, dating Omarion the gate
- 30:30Speaker 1: right the sidebar. They did look cute though. Moving on
- 30:41Speaker 1: to comedian and Oscar winning actress Monique and super producer
- 30:45Speaker 1: Lee Daniels. While their first movie together and over a
- 30:48Speaker 1: decade is set to be released next month on b
- 30:51Speaker 1: et Plus, it's a new film called The Reading. It's
- 30:55Speaker 1: a thriller and Monique's character character is a widow living
- 30:59Speaker 1: in a home that is haunted by evil. It will
- 31:02Speaker 1: be interesting to see Monique in this role in a
- 31:04Speaker 1: scary movie. The Reading premieres February second on beet Plus.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Monique and Daniels had a public reunion back in April
- 31:12Speaker 1: of last year after having mutual grievances with each other
- 31:15Speaker 1: for over ten years after that whole the movie precious,
- 31:19Speaker 1: that whole thing. Um, you know, when Monique wanted to
- 31:22Speaker 1: get paid for promoting the movie. Anyway, they made up
- 31:25Speaker 1: and it looks like all as well. So there you go.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Good God, Yeah, yep, yep, yep, yep. Yes. And finally,
- 31:36Speaker 1: music producer DJ Mustard and his ex wife Chanelle Terry
- 31:40Speaker 1: are in a heated battle over child support with his
- 31:43Speaker 1: x wis asking for over eighty thousand dollars a month.
- 31:47Speaker 1: This is according to the blast. Uh. Chanel is asking
- 31:52Speaker 1: for quote reasonable support in the amount of eighty two thousand,
- 31:57Speaker 1: six hundred twenty eight dollars per month for all three
- 32:00Speaker 1: of her children. Now that's not a lot when you're
- 32:03Speaker 1: freaking like that over after three you know it. I
- 32:08Speaker 1: ain't no three kids get your money. Yeah, I ain't
- 32:11Speaker 1: spending eight or something. I got three fe a month.
- 32:14Speaker 1: I ain't spending that on my three kids. Were not
- 32:17Speaker 1: well what what what is she gonna do this? Eight?
- 32:20Speaker 1: What is we buying these kids? But eight? Sometimes the
- 32:24Speaker 1: money you know, you have three kids are convinced? Uh,
- 32:28Speaker 1: you know time, you know what the disrespectful part of
- 32:30Speaker 1: this whole thing? What what the six hundred and twenty
- 32:33Speaker 1: eight dollars. That is what the hell is that? Folk?
- 32:40Speaker 1: Just say eighty two thousand, let's move on, kid before
- 32:45Speaker 1: another six ty eight whatever? Yeah, a lot. She deserves
- 32:50Speaker 1: all of that. I'm still mad at uh everybody forgetting
- 32:53Speaker 1: mad at doctor Dre's next wife because she's saying she
- 32:55Speaker 1: got too much. I don't know how long I got
- 32:57Speaker 1: an what yeah, what month this is for their lifestyle?
- 33:04Speaker 1: She'll get lifestyle. It is, well, and that's what I

- 33:10Speaker 1: everything doing? Tell meybody, tell me about the lifestyle whatever
- 33:13Speaker 1: they want to do? Nothing, let me tell you if
- 33:16Speaker 1: I must it, I'm going on strike. I'm not spending
- 33:18Speaker 1: another record. I do that. I want this. Let this
- 33:22Speaker 1: be a lesson to DJ man name. This need to
- 33:24Speaker 1: be a lesson to you to not getting all every
- 33:34Speaker 1: condiment you can think of. DJ J, DJ Sugar Raised,
- 33:42Speaker 1: DJ Raised, DJ Jelly you know you and j DJ

- 33:54Speaker 1: lot of paper, kids, man. I love y'all know I
- 33:57Speaker 1: love my kids. That eighty sometimes I was a month.
- 34:00Speaker 1: That's a lotever, man, to pay the type of money
- 34:05Speaker 1: time and I denounced my kids every time. I'm not
- 34:09Speaker 1: a father, no mother a month, that's what I did see. Um,
- 34:16Speaker 1: I think it's on social media where Halle Berry got
- 34:19Speaker 1: her child support cut in half that she was paying
- 34:23Speaker 1: her ex husband. You know she had to pass so
- 34:25Speaker 1: she got hers cutting out wrong. Now you that's wrong
- 34:29Speaker 1: to pay the amount, that's wrong. And you know the
- 34:33Speaker 1: biggest one that upsets me, Mayor J Blige having to
- 34:37Speaker 1: pay her hub that man, they don't have any children,
- 34:41Speaker 1: So that's exactly wrong. That's that's really really wrong. He
- 34:44Speaker 1: had children. But DJ Must, to my heart, go out
- 34:47Speaker 1: to your brother, my heart, go out. You're gonna have
- 34:51Speaker 1: to make some He got to make some more damn song.

- 35:04Speaker 1: I'm not paying it, paying that much money. They've been
- 35:08Speaker 1: together three for ten years, they have three children. Whatever.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Can I pay it directly to the kids? Can I
- 35:15Speaker 1: do that? Can I get it directly that in exactly time?
- 35:18Speaker 1: Put a bank account. No, I don't put it in
- 35:21Speaker 1: a bank account. Let it stack. Surely you know you ain't,
- 35:24Speaker 1: you know, dog, she was fine when you guys were together.
- 35:30Speaker 1: That was okay. Up, he wasn't spending eighty on the kids.
- 35:35Speaker 1: When will you don't know that? You don't your life.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Mustard ain't out there doing it, spending that kind of
- 35:41Speaker 1: money like that. We'd have heard about it about now
- 35:43Speaker 1: we have more to hear. But yeah, here Mustarding around.
- 35:47Speaker 1: You get your money, ladies. Coming up in twenty minutes
- 35:52Speaker 1: after the hour call is up with music News, we'll

- 37:03Speaker 1: her eleven year old beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy on the stage.
- 37:07Speaker 1: They performed brown Girl, Yes, and the crowd just went
- 37:13Speaker 1: crazy for Blue Ivy. She was joined Beyonce had an
- 37:18Speaker 1: all female orchestra Shirley and all female precision dance group
- 37:24Speaker 1: from Lebanon, and this group actually won America's Got Talent
- 37:28Speaker 1: last year. So I mean it was just and then
- 37:31Speaker 1: the choreography was by our girls. No, no, it was not.
- 37:36Speaker 1: And actually concertgoers they had to it was a strict
- 37:40Speaker 1: no phones policy, so you know, they had to put
- 37:43Speaker 1: the attendees had to put their phones in those those
- 37:46Speaker 1: special provided bags that they have as shows. But you know,
- 37:51Speaker 1: some of the pictures did get out. We are seeing
- 37:53Speaker 1: stuff online. So some of the celebrities that were invited
- 37:57Speaker 1: with Kendall Jenner, actress Latisia, she right, you know, from
- 38:01Speaker 1: what condom ever, Yes, of course, Beyonce's girls, Chloe and Halle,
- 38:05Speaker 1: the twins, Nia Long was there, Terrence Jay Real Housewives
- 38:10Speaker 1: of Dubai. So it was nice. It was nice, you know, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 38:16Speaker 1: what I hear Halley? You know now Mary ain't everything.
- 38:22Speaker 1: It just takes my attention. Yeah, and Bee's husband but there,
- 38:26Speaker 1: jay Z was there, her parents, Tina Knowles loss And
- 38:29Speaker 1: was there, Matthew was there, and there's so we all
- 38:31Speaker 1: heard the rumors. Prior to the show. Beyonce was paid
- 38:35Speaker 1: twenty four million dollars. Come on to performance this hotel.
- 38:41Speaker 1: So if she performed about seventy five minutes, come my
- 38:46Speaker 1: girl made twenty five million dollars. May sventy five minutes.
- 38:53Speaker 1: Years she don't need performance like twenty five years nine.
- 38:56Speaker 1: You ain't gonna but my rooms. What I'm singing? Oh
- 39:04Speaker 1: you behold out the falls And coming up next, Florida's
- 39:12Speaker 1: Governor Ron Descantis has removed African American studies from schools curriculum.
- 39:17Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to show.
- 39:26Speaker 1: White House Press Secretary Karen Jean Pierre criticized Florida Governor
- 39:31Speaker 1: Ron de Santis's administration for blocking an Advanced Placement course
- 39:36Speaker 1: on African American studies from being taught in Florida public schools.
- 39:40Speaker 1: Jean Pierre stated, quote, it is incomprehensible. Let's be clear.
- 39:44Speaker 1: They didn't block ap European history, they didn't block art history,
- 39:48Speaker 1: they didn't block music history. When you think about the
- 39:51Speaker 1: study of black Americans, this is what he wants to block.
- 39:54Speaker 1: The Florida Department of Education documented that the course isn't
- 39:58Speaker 1: historically accurate and break state law. Therefore it won't be
- 40:02Speaker 1: included in Florida's course directory. Wow, how is it not accurate?
- 40:07Speaker 1: Where is he getting that information? And you know this,
- 40:10Speaker 1: how governor? You know right? Right? And in black history
- 40:14Speaker 1: again is American history? You know it is. It's the
- 40:18Speaker 1: story they don't want told. That's the problem. That's right,
- 40:21Speaker 1: that's that's not you don't want your kids to know
- 40:23Speaker 1: what your ancestors did. That's your issue. Is your issue,
- 40:29Speaker 1: And it's happening even and even in other cities outside
- 40:33Speaker 1: of the states, outside of Florida are doing it as well.
- 40:36Speaker 1: And even can you know what, even when I was
- 40:39Speaker 1: in high school, I swear the amount of of of
- 40:44Speaker 1: African Americans in the history book was I swear maybe
- 40:46Speaker 1: two or three pages that was it that Yeah, yeah, absolutely, yeah,
- 40:52Speaker 1: you had a page about slavery and when you turn
- 40:54Speaker 1: the page that we was that doctor King, it went
- 40:57Speaker 1: that fans. Yeah that quick. We didn't. Yeah, we didn't
- 41:01Speaker 1: learn about it in school, that's for sure, unless you
- 41:04Speaker 1: had a school that taught specifically black history, and that
- 41:08Speaker 1: came much later. But yeah, we weren't taught that well.
- 41:12Speaker 1: That it's part of that staying woke in the education system.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Part of that is they don't want these kids and
- 41:19Speaker 1: educators that are teaching these subjects to feel guilty about
- 41:23Speaker 1: what their ancestors have done in the past. But use
- 41:26Speaker 1: this as these are conversations and this is part of
- 41:29Speaker 1: history that needs to be told, and we need to
- 41:32Speaker 1: teach all children, all races, these things. And then as
- 41:36Speaker 1: a part of it you can learn what can you
- 41:39Speaker 1: do better to move forward and teach the future. Yeah,
- 41:45Speaker 1: but you don't even want to be exposed to it.
- 41:47Speaker 1: You don't get here it because it's uncomfortable. Well, imagine
- 41:50Speaker 1: how it was for us. For us, it had to
- 41:54Speaker 1: experience it, and that had to hear about it about
- 41:56Speaker 1: our ancestors, so you know, and it is history. It
- 42:00Speaker 1: is still history. It is still history. It involved black people,
- 42:03Speaker 1: but it's not just black history. It's history period. Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 42:09Speaker 1: But he wants the president keep your eye on the right.
- 42:12Speaker 1: I remember that when it comes time for voting in
- 42:15Speaker 1: all of these things in the state of Florida, every election,
- 42:18Speaker 1: you all need to stay woke because these kind of
- 42:21Speaker 1: people get in power and they're showing you who they are.
- 42:24Speaker 1: Believe them right, true colors. Yeah, psychopology, I am too, Tommy,
- 42:29Speaker 1: I really am. It's like, can we get a moment
- 42:32Speaker 1: to breathe? Can we just find that moment to breathe? No?
- 42:35Speaker 1: Too much hatred and evil in this world? Really sad,
- 42:39Speaker 1: all right? Woke? In Atlanta, six people were arrested Saturday.
- 42:44Speaker 1: This is downtown Atlanta during protests that came in respond
- 42:47Speaker 1: to a proposed police training facility and the fatal police
- 42:51Speaker 1: shooting of an activist earlier this week. The protesters marched
- 42:55Speaker 1: in a peaceful manner Sunday evening down a central Atlanta
- 43:00Speaker 1: a street, but a group within that crowd later began
- 43:03Speaker 1: committing illegal acts, including breaking windows and attacking police cruisers.
- 43:09Speaker 1: Police arrested six people and were continuing to investigate whether
- 43:13Speaker 1: they there were any others involved in a legal activity,
- 43:16Speaker 1: the chief said. The police chief said through businesses sustained
- 43:19Speaker 1: damage to their windows. So this is a terrible situation
- 43:25Speaker 1: that's going on in Atlanta. Uh, you know, it's just terrible.
- 43:30Speaker 1: You want to protest, I mean, that is your right,
- 43:33Speaker 1: but then yeah, this happens, you know, yeah, this happens,
- 43:38Speaker 1: and uh, you know, the people are angry with the police,
- 43:41Speaker 1: and the mayor came out and said, you know, whoever
- 43:45Speaker 1: you are, we will catch you. We will catch you,
- 43:48Speaker 1: and we will prosecute you. We will arrest you, we
- 43:51Speaker 1: will find you. So whoever you are, yeah, and whoever
- 43:55Speaker 1: you are, it's cameras everywhere. They absolutely absolutely, yeah, just
- 44:01Speaker 1: let people live. Let people that's the constitutional right to protect.
- 44:05Speaker 1: You can protest, yeah, yeah, that is your right. But um, anyway,
- 44:11Speaker 1: they're looking for the suspects right now. All right. Coming
- 44:15Speaker 1: up next to it is a nephew with today's praying
- 44:17Speaker 1: phone call. Right after this you're listening to show coming
- 44:23Speaker 1: up in about four minutes after the hour, it's my
- 44:25Speaker 1: Strawberry letter for today and the subject is we were
- 44:29Speaker 1: nude when we met Okay marinade on that form, that's
- 44:35Speaker 1: a beautiful thing right now. That's now, that's how you
- 44:38Speaker 1: meet when you want to meet something like that. That's
- 44:40Speaker 1: how you know what we should open up a club
- 44:43Speaker 1: or something like that, y'all like that. You know what
- 44:45Speaker 1: I'm saying, club naket, club nude or something. Club. Now
- 44:49Speaker 1: you know, just and you when you you know you
- 44:50Speaker 1: you you d rode when you come in. You know,
- 44:54Speaker 1: you go to the ball, get out on the dance
- 44:57Speaker 1: flow neck. But you meet now you meeting that person
- 45:01Speaker 1: for real? It sounds like a really profitable business. Come on,
- 45:05Speaker 1: junior and promise and your boy like all his ideas,
- 45:11Speaker 1: but this makes and looking at you. Swipe your card
- 45:15Speaker 1: when you come in that way, you ain't. You ain't
- 45:17Speaker 1: naked walking around with your credit card in your prayers.
- 45:19Speaker 1: You's know what I'm saying. Swipe it and then we
- 45:21Speaker 1: got your numb We give you a little wrist man.
- 45:23Speaker 1: You know, where do you keep your card after you? Yeah,
- 45:26Speaker 1: put it in your put it in your Oh, I'm
- 45:28Speaker 1: gonna have a locker room with everything. Got lockers. Yeah, yeah,
- 45:32Speaker 1: put yourself up, like when you go to the skating rank,
- 45:34Speaker 1: just put it in your locker. Skating well, they hand
- 45:38Speaker 1: they may not have no motor hat on when we
- 45:40Speaker 1: was there. But I'm just saying, look, listen, think naked.
- 45:43Speaker 1: That's what that's the problem is that you're not thinking naked.
- 45:45Speaker 1: And you add in there time you can have a
- 45:48Speaker 1: spa in there. Yeah, you can give massages and everything.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Come on, boy, dog, I'm telling that you can do
- 45:54Speaker 1: all of this. Okay, Julian, let me say something I
- 45:57Speaker 1: think me and you need to go to the bank
- 45:58Speaker 1: and beat the loan and open up this. Do I
- 46:01Speaker 1: think you're talking to people them? You can tell the
- 46:05Speaker 1: own officer when you need the money for what I
- 46:07Speaker 1: want to hear for naked cub ye. And do you
- 46:13Speaker 1: have an experience as a business owner in this industry? No? No,
- 46:18Speaker 1: I mean I've been naked every day. I've been naked
- 46:20Speaker 1: every day, and so happen I get out the shower.
- 46:21Speaker 1: I mean when I got shower, you know all of us,
- 46:26Speaker 1: do you know? And and y'all y'all over the laughing,
- 46:30Speaker 1: But y'all gonna be at this grand open enough. We'll
- 46:35Speaker 1: support you from afar when y'all there. Definitely what depends
- 46:42Speaker 1: on how much were talking. I ain't really turned out
- 46:44Speaker 1: my nose. That's the subject. Of today's Strawberry letter. We
- 46:50Speaker 1: were nude when we met. Right now it is time
- 46:52Speaker 1: for the nephew. We'll get into that in just a bit,
- 46:55Speaker 1: because right now it is time for the nephew and
- 46:57Speaker 1: today's praying phone call. What you got for us, nap?
- 47:00Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Charlot. We got to go down to the
- 47:02Speaker 1: church and we're about to repose some qus. We're about
- 47:05Speaker 1: to repose on Hey, hey, hey, I'm sorry, bill ain't paid.
- 47:08Speaker 1: We gotta get these pews. Y'all gonna be standing up? Sorry,
- 47:11Speaker 1: come on, look, I'm trying to reach a pastor, Pastor Wilkins. Yeah,
- 47:17Speaker 1: this is reverend doctor Wilcomes. Are you the you're the
- 47:19Speaker 1: pastor of Baptist Church? Am right? Basti Church? That's correct.
- 47:24Speaker 1: How can I help you? Okay, listen, my name is Daniel,
- 47:28Speaker 1: and I'm calling from RCS, which is a church supply,
- 47:32Speaker 1: and we have an outstanding bill here that we wanted
- 47:35Speaker 1: to bring to you all's attention for like twenty three
- 47:38Speaker 1: thousand dollars for your pews that has not been paid.
- 47:42Speaker 1: So we wanted to see not to cut you out. Yeah, yeah, Daniel, RCS, Yeah,
- 47:50Speaker 1: church supply, sir. That's uh this is actually where you
- 47:53Speaker 1: guys got your pus okay out standing bill for twenty
- 47:57Speaker 1: three thousand. Well, first of all, that's not all our
- 48:02Speaker 1: standing bills are handled by our finance department. You know,
- 48:05Speaker 1: you wouldn't need to speak to our treasurer and they
- 48:07Speaker 1: will be able to help you with that. We heard
- 48:09Speaker 1: that this hasn't been taken care of. And this matter
- 48:12Speaker 1: when it comes to these pews because, like I stated before,
- 48:14Speaker 1: you guys old twenty three thousand dollars on these ceues
- 48:17Speaker 1: and I think this was probably twelve or thirteen years ago,
- 48:20Speaker 1: so maybe this was something before you got there, But nevertheless,
- 48:24Speaker 1: there's still an outstanding building right now. We're actually going
- 48:27Speaker 1: to be repossessing these pews as of early seven o'clock
- 48:31Speaker 1: Sunday morning, not far this Sunday morning. Though we have
- 48:36Speaker 1: the Women's Day's missionary. I's here today and I also
- 48:40Speaker 1: find it. We have like our kid. Then you have
- 48:44Speaker 1: a lot of things and you actually run it off
- 48:46Speaker 1: your schedule. To me, that's that's really not my concern.
- 48:49Speaker 1: And maybe your Women's Day or whatever it is, gonna
- 48:52Speaker 1: y'all gonna do a standing up, because right now we're
- 48:54Speaker 1: not going to do it. You're not understanding me. See um,
- 48:57Speaker 1: did you say twelve or thirteen years ago? Well, I've
- 49:00Speaker 1: been in the past here for ten years and you
- 49:02Speaker 1: know you know to do and occurred or you got there.
- 49:07Speaker 1: But nevertheless, the bill is still outstanding and these cues
- 49:11Speaker 1: need to be taken care of. Now. If y'all don't
- 49:13Speaker 1: have the twenty three thousand dollars, then I got to
- 49:16Speaker 1: come pick these pews up Sunday morning. Sir, we got
- 49:20Speaker 1: over there. You're not hearing me. And first of all,
- 49:22Speaker 1: this is my private number. How did you get this number?
- 49:24Speaker 1: You're your numbers here in the books as a contact. No,
- 49:27Speaker 1: this is this is only only get this out to
- 49:29Speaker 1: very few people, and I know none of them will
- 49:31Speaker 1: would give our numbers. So that's that's an issue right there.
- 49:34Speaker 1: And a second of all, if you're talking about coming
- 49:36Speaker 1: in our church signd the morning to take our pus uh,
- 49:40Speaker 1: that's not something you really want to do, sir. I
- 49:43Speaker 1: have to do my job the same way you get
- 49:45Speaker 1: up on Sunday morning and you have to do yours.
- 49:47Speaker 1: I have to do mine. So my job is to
- 49:49Speaker 1: get these fees back because you guys are twenty three
- 49:52Speaker 1: thousand dollars in the rears, no tyling to tell you
- 49:55Speaker 1: I ain't always been been treating. Now you come in
- 49:58Speaker 1: my church and you're testing cues, I'm gonna come at
- 50:00Speaker 1: that proofpit on you. I'm not I'm not here to
- 50:03Speaker 1: go to what you used to be and what you
- 50:06Speaker 1: are now. I'm nothing to go back and forth with
- 50:08Speaker 1: you on that. The bottom line the consequences you don't
- 50:11Speaker 1: want to deal with, Sune because you know I hold on,
- 50:15Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, let me let me calm down,
- 50:17Speaker 1: because you know you're about to make me faith some
- 50:19Speaker 1: words and I've been delivered from Thank God, I'm going
- 50:23Speaker 1: to deliver them cus away from you on Sunday. Now
- 50:26Speaker 1: I got to come and pick them pus up. That's
- 50:28Speaker 1: the bottom line. Do you have twenty three thousand Sunday
- 50:31Speaker 1: morning twenty three thousand? Understand that's not the issue. The
- 50:34Speaker 1: issue is you have no business calling me on my
- 50:37Speaker 1: personal phone. I'm in my meditation time right now, trying
- 50:40Speaker 1: to get concentrated for you know, my message to have
- 50:42Speaker 1: to deliver later this afternoon, so we need all of
- 50:46Speaker 1: our puments. Let me ask you something. Do you have
- 50:49Speaker 1: the twenty three thousand dollars that you can give me
- 50:51Speaker 1: Sunday morning and then you can continue whatever it is
- 50:54Speaker 1: you have going on that day. Other than that, I'm
- 50:57Speaker 1: gonna have to take them culls. I got to told
- 50:59Speaker 1: me twenty problems. If you're not listening, Fron, that ain't
- 51:02Speaker 1: my bill, I ain't paying it. You ain't touching my watch.
- 51:07Speaker 1: I'm not gonna continue to go. Okay, listen, I'm trying
- 51:10Speaker 1: to respect what's what's pastor will trying to respect you.
- 51:15Speaker 1: Remend doctor Wilkins. I'd appreciate this. You called me in
- 51:18Speaker 1: my name. Remend doctor Wilkins. Okay, Reverend doctor Wilkins. Now,
- 51:22Speaker 1: first of all, I'm crumbing up there Sunday. Now, I'm
- 51:26Speaker 1: hoping I only have to lay hands on these queues now,
- 51:29Speaker 1: but I gotta lay hands on something else. Then I
- 51:31Speaker 1: got to do what I got to. You can come
- 51:34Speaker 1: on up here and you on the property. That's cool,
- 51:37Speaker 1: but you touch them cues. I got some boys in here.
- 51:39Speaker 1: They can take that Jesus coat off, they can lay
- 51:41Speaker 1: it down. They can get with you, partner. I'm saying,
- 51:45Speaker 1: you know what they truf jado. I walked through Valley
- 51:48Speaker 1: shadow of Death. I will see no evil. I ain't
- 51:51Speaker 1: got no problems. Wait wait wait wait wait wait wait
- 51:53Speaker 1: wait wait wait you're talking about coming to answer my church?
- 51:57Speaker 1: Because my please, I'm gonna do what I got to do, man,
- 52:00Speaker 1: And then y'all I got to do in an amazes
- 52:04Speaker 1: height many stand up the whole service. Now on which
- 52:09Speaker 1: one do you want? You want to handle it? I
- 52:12Speaker 1: got I got something else I want to take you.
- 52:14Speaker 1: You listen to me? You ain't saying nothing? Side? Is
- 52:17Speaker 1: you listening what you got to say to me? I
- 52:19Speaker 1: got to say this to you, devil his nephew taught
- 52:23Speaker 1: me from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got
- 52:26Speaker 1: pranked by your entire deacon boy? Who what? Who this is? Man? Well,
- 52:35Speaker 1: because this is nephew Tommy Man from the Steve Harvey
- 52:37Speaker 1: Morning Show. Your deacon boy got me the prank phone
- 52:40Speaker 1: call you. I can't believe it is boy made me
- 52:43Speaker 1: lose my religion side in there? Man, you hung in
- 52:48Speaker 1: the past. Which one of them was Deacon Glover? Oh okay, okay,
- 52:54Speaker 1: I've got some some things I got to talk this
- 52:56Speaker 1: love about. You know. I wonder how you got my
- 52:59Speaker 1: personal cell phone anyway? Man, So well, I'm glad I
- 53:02Speaker 1: was to put a laugh on your face today. Man,
- 53:07Speaker 1: what is the baddest radio show in the land, Steve
- 53:11Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Hey, let me tell you this. Keep

- 54:02Speaker 1: for you, Jay Anthony Brown. We miss you. Buggle up,
- 54:06Speaker 1: hold on tight, we got it fo you here it
- 54:07Speaker 1: ease a Strawberry letter. Thank you, nephew. Subject we were
- 54:11Speaker 1: nude when we met. Dear Stephen Shirley, I am a
- 54:16Speaker 1: thirty one year old single man. I'm six four and
- 54:19Speaker 1: I work out five days a week, so I'm in
- 54:21Speaker 1: great physical condition. I am a doctor now and I
- 54:24Speaker 1: come from a large family, so to put myself through
- 54:27Speaker 1: medical school, I worked as a mail dancer and porn star,
- 54:31Speaker 1: and I was able to make a lot of money.
- 54:34Speaker 1: Sex was never a problem for me, and when I worked,
- 54:40Speaker 1: I was having sex up to five times a day
- 54:42Speaker 1: with all kinds of voluptuous women. I didn't think much
- 54:46Speaker 1: about sex because it was my job. All of that
- 54:49Speaker 1: changed when I met a new girl at work. She
- 54:53Speaker 1: walked into the set and we both were nude, and
- 54:56Speaker 1: she had the most beautiful body I'd ever seen. She
- 55:00Speaker 1: was a veteran in the industry, and I was intrigued
- 55:03Speaker 1: that she wanted to work with me. We had sex
- 55:06Speaker 1: on camera and it was instant chemistry. It was like
- 55:10Speaker 1: we were made for each other. Sex didn't mean much
- 55:14Speaker 1: to her either. Steve, You're gonna love this line, but
- 55:18Speaker 1: she had to admit that I was very good at
- 55:21Speaker 1: what I did. We ended up being friends with benefits,
- 55:27Speaker 1: and that's all we could be since she was married.
- 55:31Speaker 1: There's also an age difference. She's older, but that never
- 55:35Speaker 1: mattered to her and we have been in our situationship
- 55:39Speaker 1: for over six years to this day. I'm still under
- 55:43Speaker 1: her spell. She is not happy in her marriage, but
- 55:47Speaker 1: she told me she'd never get a divorce because her
- 55:49Speaker 1: husband always supported her lifestyle and he has been good
- 55:53Speaker 1: to her. I love her too, and I want to
- 55:56Speaker 1: be with her. You love her too, Junior. Thinking about
- 56:00Speaker 1: moving to a neighboring city to get a fresh start.
- 56:03Speaker 1: But I'm afraid she will forget about me. Am I
- 56:06Speaker 1: crazy to think she might have a change of heart
- 56:08Speaker 1: and want me? Uncle Steve, Should I start dating other women?
- 56:12Speaker 1: Or should I keep shooting my shot with her? Well,
- 56:16Speaker 1: you know we're gonna tell you, at least I am,
- 56:19Speaker 1: stop shooting your shot with her. Uh. You know we're
- 56:22Speaker 1: going to tell you to leave this married woman, of course,
- 56:24Speaker 1: because that is the right thing to do. Everybody says
- 56:28Speaker 1: they're not happy in their marriage when you're dating them. Yeah,
- 56:31Speaker 1: everyone says that when you when they're in an affair,
- 56:33Speaker 1: they're not happy in their marriage. Everybody says that, Um, whooo,
- 56:39Speaker 1: who are you telling to? Who said? None? Yes you did, Yes,
- 56:48Speaker 1: she did. Be quiet, Okay, be quiet? Just because we're
- 56:53Speaker 1: talking about naked people. You think you can get in
- 56:56Speaker 1: the letter, all right? I definitely think you should go
- 56:59Speaker 1: ahead and move to an neighboring city and get a
- 57:01Speaker 1: fresh start. Yes, you have chemistry with this woman. Yes,
- 57:04Speaker 1: she's beautiful, the most beautiful body you've ever seen. Yes,
- 57:08Speaker 1: you know you guys love working together and you're intrigued
- 57:11Speaker 1: and you're under her spell and you've been together for
- 57:14Speaker 1: over six years. But how is this gonna work? I mean,
- 57:18Speaker 1: you want to just keep Hope alive thinking that she's
- 57:20Speaker 1: gonna leave her husband. It usually never works out that way. Okay,
- 57:24Speaker 1: it just does. You're a doctor. You can get someone. Okay,
- 57:29Speaker 1: keep Hope alive. Yeah, are you crazy to think she
- 57:32Speaker 1: might have a change of heart and want you? I mean,
- 57:33Speaker 1: you're not crazy, but most people who think that their
- 57:36Speaker 1: wish does not come true. For the most part. You
- 57:39Speaker 1: got to start dating other women and stop shooting your shot.
- 57:42Speaker 1: Because you've been with her for six years and nothing's changed.
- 57:45Speaker 1: It is time to move on, mister. Six four working
- 57:48Speaker 1: out five days a week and a doctor. Now you
- 57:51Speaker 1: can find someone else, all right, Steve, and you make
- 57:54Speaker 1: a lot of money. Come on, Steve, what surely you
- 57:58Speaker 1: heard me? I mean every word of that this was
- 58:01Speaker 1: your response to this? Wrong with you? Talk to these
- 58:09Speaker 1: people for like this is normal? You should leave this marriage.
- 58:13Speaker 1: One of the one we're talking about two porn stars?
- 58:19Speaker 1: He wrote, why are you? Why are you trying to
- 58:24Speaker 1: have a morality cons with two damn punch stars? He
- 58:30Speaker 1: asked the question he did talking about the right thing
- 58:34Speaker 1: to do, the right thing to do? They as porn stars.
- 58:39Speaker 1: He's now give a damn about the right thing to do.
- 58:45Speaker 1: He's a doctor. Now they screw old camera for a
- 58:50Speaker 1: living and for money. This is prostitution being filmed. This
- 59:00Speaker 1: is what this is, to have sex for money. Fucking
- 59:07Speaker 1: about Shirley? How dare you? You're I'm too much of
- 59:13Speaker 1: a Christian sometimes being a doctor? He did that to
- 59:18Speaker 1: to work his way through school. You heard that medical
- 59:21Speaker 1: school paper, girl? You heard that? How many times have
- 59:26Speaker 1: you heard strippers say this? But you still as if
- 59:31Speaker 1: you I'm girl, Just give your answer. That's my answer.
- 59:38Speaker 1: Just give yours. My answer is about your answer. So
- 59:43Speaker 1: answer this. On the second half of this letter, everybody
- 59:46Speaker 1: gonna understand why I'm but I don't give it damn
- 59:50Speaker 1: but that I don't want you to change yours. I'm
- 59:52Speaker 1: gonna og from a disappoint to standpoint and what I
- 59:56Speaker 1: don't want you to do this time my aunt ansty
- 59:58Speaker 1: that's too much. We don't want do that on the air. Well,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: we're doing it on the well, you know I'm gonna
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: say that, all right, and we know we're going to
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: do this on the air. You did Jovis all right. Look,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: we'll have part two of Steven workout five days a week. Yeah,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: that's what you're mad about. Just say it, really, just
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: say it. What. They ain't got a damn thing to
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: do with it, nothing at all. You find out what
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: I'm mad about. Come on, let's go. All right, we'll
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: be back with Seems response coming up at twenty three
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, subjects we were nude when we met.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, come on,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry letter. Subject we were nude when
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: we met. He is a man. He gonna try to
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: trick us with workout five days. So I'm in great
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: physical condition. They ain't. I'm saying about nothing. I don't care.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: I ain't thirty one. I am a doctor now and
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: I come from a large family. Oh man, congratulations, dog
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: didn't the letter stars turning so to put myself through
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: medical school. This way we post to give everything. I
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: worked as a male dancer and a pawn star and
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: was able to make a lot of money. Sex was
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: never a problem for me when I worked. Okay, do
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: a lot of people can say that, I can make
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: that statement. Really, sex has never been a problem for
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: me when I worked. But then this way the letter
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: take a turn. I was having sex up to five
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: times a day with all kinds of voluptuous women. That's
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: never happened. No, I didn't think that much about sex
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: because it was my job. All that change when I
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: met a new girl didn't work. She walked on the
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: set and we were both nude, and she had the
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: most beautiful body I had ever seen. We'll get in line, homie.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: You ain't the only one seen this beautiful body. She
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: was a veteran in the industry. I was intrigued that
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: she wanted to work with me. She didn't work with
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: everybody else buttrick in the industry, and I was I was.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: I was intrigued that she wanted to work with me.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: She didn't work with everybody else. We had sex on
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: camera and it was instant chemistry. Oh, okay, party. It
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: was like we was made for each other. Yeah, come on, dog.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Sex didn't mean much to her either, I guess not.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: I don't mean nothing. We ended up being friends with
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: benefits and that's all we could be since and here
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: where Sherley started getting real Christie since she was married,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: was in the borno Star is married. Yeah, obviously d's
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: weren't the same. Vows you both to take one of
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: the lines in the marriage. Row says to cling unto
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: her and only unto her. She didn't latched on her,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: everybody come on the set. There's also an age difference
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: because she's older or not an all vectoran you thirty one,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: putting it on you like you ain't ever had before.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: But that never mattered to her. And we have been
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: in this situation for over six years, so you've been
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: the side piece for six years. To this day, I'm
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: still under her spell. She did something. You know why
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: she could at it because you do it all the time, fractice.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: She get paid for it. That trigger practice. She had
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: done stuff for you. She learned this stuff. She is
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: not happy in her marriage. But let me guess why.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: Here's a poem. Star is not in her happy because
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: she sleep with a lot of men, and a lot
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: of men sleep with her better than her husband. Do
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: You're damn right. She ain't happy because she got too
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: many people to compare it to. The list goes more.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: I like Thunderboat, I like Thunderboat, I like beef Checking,
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: I like Powerhouse, I like Don Daddy Daddy, I like
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: Frank Spook, I like I like tantalizing Terrorists. I like
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: ben Juicy JR. Rown. She got a lot that she
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: going her and then she said she ain't happen her mond.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: But she told me she'd never get a divorce because
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: her husband always supported her lifestyle and he has been
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: good to her. Hell yeah, he stayed with her over
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: to you, don't yo, dumbings. That's a doctor want to
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: marry a pun style And when you take her up
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: to the office and eighteen and your customers recognized, ain't that?
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: And he know what's gonna happen because he says, I
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: love her too, and I want to be with her. Sir,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: you want to be with her? You want oh, let
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: me read this line. She happened. I love her too,
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: and I want to be with her. You want to
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: be with her? You know how many men won't to
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: be with her. You can't count the men that's been
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: with her, your dumb ass. Don't take your ass and
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: go to work and quit being stupid. Now, this is
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: how stupid he is. I'm thinking about moving to a
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: neighboring city to get a fresh start. But I'm afraid
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: she'll forget about me. Am. I crazy to think she
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: might have a change of heart. You better hope she
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: don't and won't meet boy, she won't you who she
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: don't want? Just give me that this won't who she was?
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: All right? So Steve, we gotta get out of this letter, okay,
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: and post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter at Steve
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook. And please don't forget
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: to check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand now
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: coming up next to the Sports Talk with Junior right
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: after this. You're listening morning show and it's time now
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: for Junior and Sports Talk. What you got Junior? You
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: know what, Shirley, Let's just go ahead and cut to it. Man,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: shout out the shaded Sharp. I just just say I'm
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: proud of you, man. I'm proud of Shannon Sharp. Y'all
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: saw it at the Lake a game Friday. What happened though, Junior?
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: Just the thing man? All shitt is Sharp. Everybody knows
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: Shannon Sharp is a huge Lebron James face. He is
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: huge on Lebron James. Shannon Sharp court side told Dylan Brooks,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: you can't guard Lebron James. Dylon Brooks in return said
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: f you, Oh goodness, and then Shannon said, f you,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: next thig. You know, the whole Memphis Grizzlies basketball team
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: is trying to take on Shan and Sharp. Then you
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: got jam Red, jam Red Daddy, all the mo Rests,
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: the grandfather, Ma read all, even Rents came out. I've
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: got everybody over there. I just want to say, shut
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: out the Shannon. He said, y'all don't even won't these problems.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: I know shann had been retired for a long time,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: but he's still in shape. Still, he's still in shape,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: He's still in sha He still got it. I just
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: don't take him. But I don't think the Marid's nothing
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: to play with either. That ain't nothing to play with. Now,
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: that's what made interest in Carlin. Oh you know what
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: I liked about that whole scenario. Yes, Shannon Sharp is
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: trash talking to the ball players while they were actively
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: playing the game, and the dad got involved, Daddy moren
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: And But what I loved at the end of all
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: the trash talking, they hugged it out. They did. They
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: hugged it out, squashed. They squashed the b right then
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: and there like grown men like trash talk and able
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: to last. I'm still shop though, I'm right he did
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: hug it out. But I just want to give him
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: if it takes all the security in that sex and
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: the move sharp to a title dog. This brother was
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: not playing. You know, you'd be thinking, like you know,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: they forget. He didn't care about being on Undisputed. He
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: didn't care about his job. He cared nothing he can
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: about Skip Bayless. All he fucked us on was the
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Memphis grizziness. And then that's just it's just it's just
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: the fact that he actually is actually trying to take
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: on the entire basketball I never wanted to fight fifteen people, right, Yeah,
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: I know, one shit it didn't care. He just told
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: everybody y'all don't want the problems. Yeah, I think I
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: think out the fifteen he's gonna knock out ten. At
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: least it was cool though team mord and and and
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: Shannon Shall. I mean the refer reason was everybody. Everybody.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: I thought it was a football game. Myself. I said,
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: it's running through the defense. I know that he going
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: to the defense. I'm glad they squashed, man. I'm glad
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: they squashed man. You know, let that be a lesson
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: on how to hand though conflicted beef. You could talk
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: it out at the end, like, yeah, watch it. Many
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: love it, love it, loved it man. All right, sure,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: all right, junior, thank you, thank you. Guys. Coming up
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, a wife needs her
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: husband to get a life, get a hobby, get some friends.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: We'll talk about it when we come back. Right after this.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: this question is from Steve harveysm dot com and it's
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: from Pamela in Virginia. She needs some advice. Pamela says, Hi,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: Stephen Family. I'm forty two and I've been married for
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: six years. My husband and I survived being quarantined together,
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: but he got on my last nerve wanting to watch
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: all of my shows and commenting on them. Now he's
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: hooked on reality TV. And can't wait to watch all
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: of my shows. If my girlfriends call, he's all in
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: my conversation. If we're talking about TV. I need him
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: to get a life. I wish he likes sports or
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: in joid, hanging with his friends. He loves hanging with
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: me twenty four seven. How do I tell him to
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: get a life and get away from me? But let
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: me say this. If he watching Ready to Love, I
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: can't be mad at him. You understand watching Ready to
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: Love Baby, Then I understand he wants to sit there
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: and watch it with you. But on the serious tip,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: if you got a man that that, y'all don't. He
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: don't have nothing to do. All he wants to do
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: is be around you, that's gonna be an issue. I
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: love my wife took death, but we need our separation.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: We gotta we gotta be. I gotta be at the
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: gold here, come back. When I come back, I'm glad
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: to see him. So he needs to find him some
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: stuff to do. You need to get you some golf
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: clubs in your hand. You need to find you a hobby.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: You need to get this brother hobby. Won't you turn
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: him onto something that has that he can do alone
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: or with his board not Just keep in mind though,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: when you turn him onto something and he started doing that,
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: keep in mind now your time is not as he needs.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: He's not gonna be focused on you the way he was.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: I just want you to know you're playing with something
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: that you might not want to play. What you're saying
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: is to be careful what you wish for. Yeah, that's
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: my man, So be careful what you're asking for. But
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: I understand you want that space. I get you want
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: that space. Yeah. I can't see nothing wrong with this
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: myself because I am him. You're up on they. Oh
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: my wife got me hit on all of this family fiance,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: ready to love, married at first sight. I'm watching all
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: these shows I'm in. I understand. And she get on
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: the phone. We started talking about it. She put on speaking.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: I said, can't you believe Charles, I'm in that call?
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: Oh my god. Okay, so, Junior, what's your favorite reality
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: housewife franchise? Which one are you into? Atlanta? Oh my god,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: let me tell you something. It ain't just saying without Ninnie.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: I know that, right, I agree, I agree, I will
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: understand what she said. Upset about it. We all have
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: something to bond about. I know my wife gets tired
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: of that, but she turns it on. It's hard not
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: to if it's on, I'm on it, on it. I
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: trip out on the one with the ooze and Kimberly.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: Y'all got to see this couple. This, I got to
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: see this favorite. Oh what one is that? The family

- 1:13:36Speaker 1: They come down in for a weekend and the issue
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: they come out, the family gonna tell her I'm not
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: giving you my blessing. They don't like. They don't like
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: the fiance, they don't like the proma husband, they don't
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: like none of them. And it'd be good too. Girl.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: Oh my god, I got to see you got you
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: got to see Kim and Grigg. That couple right there,
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: that's my favorite. What is about? Because you you put
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: me on to a little women of it land women?
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: Never my little women. I see all these plugs and plants.

- 1:20:12Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: All right, guys, it is our last break of the day.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: Time to close out the show, wrap things up. And
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: I know you guys are still a little salty about
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: the story that we talked about earlier. Music producer DJ
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: Mustard and his ex wife, Chanel Tierry. You know you
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: all were mad because his ex wife is asking for
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: over eighty thousand dollars a month just to review. They
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: have three kids, they've been together for ten years. They're
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: no longer together. He's upset about that. Her attorneys. Chanelle's
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: attorneys claim that Mustard's twenty twenty adjusted gross income was
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: over ten million dollars and they're waiting for the amount
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: for his twenty twenty two earnings. Meanwhile, now this is
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: a part that we didn't get a chance to talk
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: about earlier. Chanel does receive thirty five thousand dollars a
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: month in spousal support. So she's getting eighty for the
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: children and thirty five for spousal support. So I will
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: fake my death right in front of them. I would,
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: I would. We got y'all gonna get out of my pocket?
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: I probably what. It's the kids? Why do you? Why
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: do you act like it? I'm gonna make sure the
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: kids get it. But I've been, But I've been down
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: in front of huddle. I've been, We've been, the golf's
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: been to go. I don't agree with everything you say timing,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: but you know, because you're stupid. But don't that sounds
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: like the right move. I'm talking about my funeral and
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: everything what and I'm going to my funeral with a
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: mask on. I'm telling we're having my funeral. We're not finished, Okay,
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: I'm eighty sometimes wait wait, wait until you're going to
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: your funeral with your mask on. So it's a close
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: casket obvious if you're showing up all that, it's a memorial. Yeah, nice,
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: earn up there everything. Yeah, your picture, your picture. I'm
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: not going to spend out this money for the funeral,
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: and I ain't ad No, I'm not. That's too much
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: money though, that's the part. Now we're talking about a
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: hundred and sometimes not a hundred kids on a monthly basis. Yeah,
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: thank you. She had the children, she carried them for
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: nine Yes, yes, kill me with this right here, and
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: I we killed and I'm gonna die for you. I will,
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: I promise you, I will as soon if you hit
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: me with this high bill. A hundred and something my money.
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: But he makes ten million that it has nothing to
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: do that. It has everything to do. Yes, one hundred
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: and seventeen down, I'm going to one person that I
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: ain't witting on more. I can't see the mother of
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: your three children. I tell these my kids ain't even
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: that smart. I don't even think they deserve a month.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: My kids, I'm talking one of them still eating paper.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: I don't care getting a hundred seventeens. I'm not paying
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: for that. It's a lot of paper, man, that's a
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: lot of paper for one month. We're talking about one month,
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: one month. We're talking ten million. You forget that part.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: Though he could afford it. They're his children. They had
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: a kid style. Yeah, they have a lifestyle. I swear
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: the courts need to change this mess right here. They
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: really do. That's just too much money to raise it.
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: Don't take all that to raise a child. And y'all
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: know that only time, all of us to raise our kids.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: And we ain't spending no eighty sometimes now on our
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: kids per month. Stop, probably spent more only per month.
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: Are you listening? Are you listening to yourself? Yea for
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: a month. No. The only time I agree with you
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: is when the wife has to pay a child us.
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: The only time I agree with you, I agree with
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: me when it is right. What's let's talk about what's right,
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: not because because the women have to carry the babies
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: and all of that, and morning sickness and all of that.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: And you got a minute when when when when Jackie car,
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: when Jackie got, when Jackie got was sick in the morning,
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: I was sick with huh. I was sick too. It
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: ain't the same weight game. I was born. I was
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: born and sick afternoon sick even been sick. So I
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: was sick too the weight game. Okay, so weight game,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: all of it. So, so that's one hundred and seventeen
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: downs a month game yeah, okay, okay, So you just
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: don't want to take your lazy after the gym that. Oh,
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: now I'm lazy carried your child three one hundred and seventeen. Oh, okay,
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: hundred seventeen. You know what you're supposed to be looking at? Like?
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: What also about my look? Oh you're talking to a
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: higher every month. Lord, if I didn't stuck my stephen
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: A Smith foot in my mind, let me just shut up. Okay,
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: can we just look at twenty thousand a month? Would
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: that be coop? No? No, no, you can't tell me.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: You can't tell me that you can't know. Okay, let's
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: let's let's look at it. Three kids, three kids, okay,
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: three kids. You can't tell me between five and ten
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: grand You can't take care of a child on a
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: monthly basis. You cannot tell me that. I'm sorry, let's
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: tell you that. Yeah, I can tell you that, but
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: we're not talking about a child. We're talking about your
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: and my child. You make ten million dollars. This is
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: the amount? This is it pressure? Yeah, get your check
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: out seeing see like like like like like that right there.
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: You can't talk to me like that in court. All
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: that that prescious that Oh that's gonna just boil me up.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: You can't my kid, I'd be in courtroom, just making
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: them story about my kid. One of them seal drugs.
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: Get this number down. He can't hear he drugs. He
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: can't be you. I could say you don't need ten
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: million dollars. I could say that for what I earned it,
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: I worked for it. I earn what I earned eighty
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: thousand or one hundred seventeen whatever. Now you did not know,
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: you didn't earn. You ain't worked for no aid to
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: something thousands losing that For me, it's for your children.
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: Give me my kids. Hey, give me my chiel. Okay, okay, okay,
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: watch it. So if I got my kids, can she
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: pay me eighty No? See why? Now? Why do you
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: make what I said? What I said? And I don't
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: agree with that one. I'm in Vegas illegally. We gotta
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: girl take it home there? All right? That's it. That's
