Hyde-Smith receives positive feedback on FEMA disaster request for May tornadoes
All six members of Mississippi’s congressional delegation have signed a letter urging President Donald Trump to approve a major disaster declaration to assist recovery from tornadoes and severe weather that struck the state on May 6 and 7. Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith received positive feedback regarding the request from top DHS officials during a hearing on Tuesday.
