- 2:07Speaker 2: me now? Want it only Steve Harvey Man oh Man
- 2:10Speaker 2: got a radio show, got a good one for you today.
- 2:13Speaker 2: And it just happened to me. You know, I was
- 2:15Speaker 2: going through something that I've been going through for a
- 2:18Speaker 2: long long time, just weary of it all, and I
- 2:21Speaker 2: was I've been talking to God about it, and I
- 2:24Speaker 2: mean for years. Though. What happened was I had had
- 2:29Speaker 2: to go through some more of it yesterday again a situation.
- 2:33Speaker 2: But you know what, after it was over, you know,
- 2:36Speaker 2: I kind of laid in it for a little while.
- 2:38Speaker 2: You know how you've been going through something for so
- 2:40Speaker 2: long and then even if it's over or appears to
- 2:43Speaker 2: be over, you still kind of lay in it a
- 2:45Speaker 2: little bit, and you know you have a while. Man,
- 2:48Speaker 2: I can't believe I've been dealing with this this long,
- 2:50Speaker 2: even though even though it's over. I don't know how
- 2:54Speaker 2: you do it, but this was so good for me.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Have you ever counted, Steve Harvey, many times you made it?
- 3:01Speaker 2: And so that's what I started doing yesterday, And that's
- 3:04Speaker 2: what I did this morning when I woke up. I
- 3:07Speaker 2: was actually taking an inventory account of how many times
- 3:11Speaker 2: I made it. How many times, man, I didn't have
- 3:15Speaker 2: the rent and somehow I came up with it. How
- 3:18Speaker 2: many times I didn't have my house payment and somehow
- 3:21Speaker 2: I came up with it. How many times I was
- 3:24Speaker 2: out of money, did not have enough, didn't see no way,
- 3:28Speaker 2: but somehow I came up with it. How many times
- 3:32Speaker 2: I got sick, thought, well, man, this one right here.
- 3:35Speaker 2: I don't know what I'm gonna do, but somehow I
- 3:38Speaker 2: got my health back. How many situations I have found
- 3:43Speaker 2: myself in That was I thought at the time, detrimental
- 3:47Speaker 2: and diabolical and man so sinister at times. Somehow I
- 3:54Speaker 2: made it. I look at all the accidents I've been in,
- 3:58Speaker 2: but he kept me made it. I think about even
- 4:02Speaker 2: the simplest times of like stepping off a curve and
- 4:04Speaker 2: almost got hit, but I made it. I was just
- 4:07Speaker 2: tripping the other day. I was thinking about the times
- 4:11Speaker 2: that I've been hit by a car and it could
- 4:13Speaker 2: have been worse, but it wouldn't, And I made it
- 4:15Speaker 2: through that too. I was thinking about, Man, when they
- 4:18Speaker 2: count you out. Do you know how many times I've
- 4:21Speaker 2: been counted out? He's done? He ain't gonna be nothing,
- 4:27Speaker 2: He ain't nobody. See what I told y'all, look at
- 4:30Speaker 2: over that they counsel this. He offered that he out
- 4:33Speaker 2: of here. He ain't gonna make it. He didne got fired. Man,
- 4:35Speaker 2: You know how many times I've been counted out? You
- 4:38Speaker 2: know how many times they done wrote me off? How
- 4:40Speaker 2: many times have you been written off? Man? But here
- 4:43Speaker 2: you still standing? Yeah? You ever tripped on it? Take
- 4:45Speaker 2: an inventory, y'all of how many times? Count the times
- 4:50Speaker 2: you've made it? What about the times man, when nobody
- 4:53Speaker 2: was there to encourage you, but you still here though
- 4:57Speaker 2: you have tripped on that? Ain't nobody called you and
- 5:00Speaker 2: told you good day? Nobody called you and told you
- 5:02Speaker 2: recently thank you. No one's called you and told you
- 5:04Speaker 2: how much you meant to them, how much you've done
- 5:07Speaker 2: for them? Or man, you can make it. Never give up.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Keep your head up, man, keep grinding. But you still
- 5:12Speaker 2: here even when nobody. Have you counted the times man,
- 5:17Speaker 2: that you made it anyway? Have you counted the times
- 5:20Speaker 2: that you felt like quitting, you felt like giving up,
- 5:24Speaker 2: you kept going? How about the time this is a
- 5:27Speaker 2: good one right here? How about the times man, when
- 5:30Speaker 2: everybody's standing around saying, ain't no way, ain't no way. Man.
- 5:33Speaker 2: I can't tell you how many times I've heard this, ain't
- 5:35Speaker 2: no way, and then somehow there is a way. You
- 5:40Speaker 2: know why, because he make a way. You understand. You
- 5:44Speaker 2: know how many times I've heard this one right here, Steve,
- 5:47Speaker 2: listen to me, man, nobody ever before has done that.
- 5:51Speaker 2: You can't do that. How many times you done heard
- 5:54Speaker 2: no or you know anybody that done that? You can't
- 5:58Speaker 2: do that. No one has ever done that. I made
- 6:01Speaker 2: it anyway. You know, they don't normally or we don't
- 6:09Speaker 2: normally allow this, but in this case, for you, we
- 6:15Speaker 2: gonna make an exception. How many times have you heard that, Oh,
- 6:19Speaker 2: I think I'm onto something? How many times have you
- 6:22Speaker 2: heard in your lifetime? We don't normally or they don't
- 6:27Speaker 2: normally allow this, but we're gonna make this exception in
- 6:32Speaker 2: your case, how many times you done heard that? Have
- 6:37Speaker 2: you ever counted the times that you made it? Everybody
- 6:42Speaker 2: out except me? How can that be? You know you're
- 6:48Speaker 2: the only one that got through this? Congratulations? Wow, man,
- 6:53Speaker 2: I don't hardly see this too many times. But do
- 6:56Speaker 2: you realize that normally this is what happened to people?
- 6:59Speaker 2: But man, and y'all, I don't know how your name
- 7:01Speaker 2: came up, but here you are. Wow, it never happens
- 7:04Speaker 2: like that. You ever counted those times I was doing
- 7:08Speaker 2: it yesterday? I was doing it this morning. I was
- 7:10Speaker 2: just taking an inventory everybody of how many times I've
- 7:14Speaker 2: made it. So what I learned yesterday was when God
- 7:19Speaker 2: gets you through something, when he pulled you out on
- 7:22Speaker 2: the other side, no matter how difficult or how long
- 7:25Speaker 2: it took. When He gets you out on the other side,
- 7:28Speaker 2: why don't you get up, dust yourself off, and start
- 7:32Speaker 2: trying what you laying that for?
- 7:35Speaker 5: Man?
- 7:35Speaker 2: Wallowing in it, going over it, recycling it in your mind.
- 7:40Speaker 2: So many people can't move forward because we keep recycling
- 7:45Speaker 2: stuff in our mind when clearly it's time to move on,
- 7:52Speaker 2: it's time to let go, it's time to go and
- 7:56Speaker 2: see what God has for you. Stop looking at what
- 7:59Speaker 2: you lost. What you lost was probably not yours to
- 8:04Speaker 2: have in the first all in the first place. Do
- 8:12Speaker 2: you know the things I've lost? Now, I'm not talking
- 8:15Speaker 2: about losing a loved one, a mother or father, nothing
- 8:18Speaker 2: like that. I'm talking about innate objects or situation. Do
- 8:22Speaker 2: you know the things I've lost? Man, I look back
- 8:24Speaker 2: on it. I wasn't supposed to have them in the
- 8:26Speaker 2: first place, or they was doing me no good. I
- 8:29Speaker 2: wasn't wasn't mine to lose, but I claimed I lost it.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Come on, man, take an inventory everybody. Start looking at
- 8:35Speaker 2: the things man, that God has brought you through. Start
- 8:38Speaker 2: looking at how many times He allowed you to make it.
- 8:41Speaker 2: And get glad about waking up in the morning. Man,
- 8:43Speaker 2: Get glad about your life. Start feeling something positive about
- 8:47Speaker 2: your situation. You cannot expect God to continue to bless
- 8:51Speaker 2: you if you're not grateful for the things that you have.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Why would God sitting down here looking at you upset
- 9:01Speaker 2: laying in the wall of what you are not grateful for.
- 9:06Speaker 2: You just can't find the scene and find no gratitude
- 9:09Speaker 2: in your heart about nothing, but you steady asking God
- 9:11Speaker 2: for something. So now you think God is crazy. You
- 9:14Speaker 2: think he gonna give you some more stuff to not
- 9:16Speaker 2: be grateful for? Are you kidding me? Why would he
- 9:19Speaker 2: do that. He's too full of too much mercy to
- 9:23Speaker 2: send you through that over and over and over. The
- 9:25Speaker 2: more I give my child, the more ungrateful they are,
- 9:29Speaker 2: the less gratitude they show. But I'm gonna keep dumping
- 9:32Speaker 2: it on them so they can keep feeling ungrateful and
- 9:34Speaker 2: then show like a gratitude. God's not gonna do that
- 9:36Speaker 2: to you. Come on, man, have you ever counted how
- 9:42Speaker 2: many times you made it? I can't count how many
- 9:46Speaker 2: times God then got me through something. But when He
- 9:49Speaker 2: gets you through it, you ain't get up and get
- 9:51Speaker 2: on about your business. Don't lay that in it. It's over,
- 9:54Speaker 2: it's done, you made it, you survived it. Let's go,
- 9:56Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Sh Ladies and gentlemen. It's here, It's here, you here,
- 10:08Speaker 2: we here. It has arrived a new day. The blessing
- 10:12Speaker 2: is we are a part of it. And if you
- 10:15Speaker 2: are a part of this new day, it is a
- 10:17Speaker 2: sign from God. And he ain't through with you yet.
- 10:20Speaker 2: And he's got so much he has in store for you.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Be in the reception line today so you can get
- 10:28Speaker 2: whatever it is God got for you. It could be
- 10:31Speaker 2: a test, it could be a blessing. It could be
- 10:34Speaker 2: your dream come true. It could be the beginning. But
- 10:36Speaker 2: it's gonna be worth it. Thank you, God, appreciate it.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Steve Harvey Mortas show Shehery Strawberry calling for our Mississippi
- 10:43Speaker 2: Monica and the legend of nephew Tommy, Oh, Tommy, hears her,
- 10:55Speaker 2: it's on your mind today, trying to be a better person. Well,
- 11:04Speaker 2: I don't think.
- 11:04Speaker 6: I don't think I've ever been a bad person, but
- 11:06Speaker 6: I'm trying to be a better person with people. How
- 11:10Speaker 6: can I say this? When you're trying to be a
- 11:12Speaker 6: better person, people seem tend to they they they run
- 11:22Speaker 6: up on the new you like the old you ain't
- 11:24Speaker 6: still in there, you know what I say. And I'm
- 11:29Speaker 6: trying to control and keep the old me back then,
- 11:32Speaker 6: But he'd be back there talking to me like, I
- 11:34Speaker 6: know you ain't gonna let them say that. I know
- 11:36Speaker 6: you ain't gonna let them get away with that. And
- 11:38Speaker 6: I'm trying. I'm trying so hard, try.
- 11:43Speaker 5: Try.
- 11:46Speaker 2: You want you let me tell you what you have
- 11:47Speaker 2: to do when that happens, Tommy, Yes, you have to
- 11:52Speaker 2: introduce them to the new you.
- 11:56Speaker 6: I try to introduce them to the new one, and
- 11:58Speaker 6: then they just keep pecking at that old window. They
- 12:01Speaker 6: just they just keep trying me though, Like, what.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Do you mean though? What happened?
- 12:07Speaker 2: How?
- 12:08Speaker 7: Like?
- 12:08Speaker 1: What do they do? I understand what he's saying.
- 12:11Speaker 6: Do you understand what I'm saying? Car?
- 12:13Speaker 2: How they can just start?
- 12:14Speaker 1: Well?
- 12:14Speaker 8: You know what I saw, Tommy, I saw this real
- 12:17Speaker 8: on social media. It said, people gonna start making me
- 12:20Speaker 8: act like my maiden name.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I changed and got married. Don't poke the bad.
- 12:27Speaker 2: You know, that's that's the process.
- 12:30Speaker 7: You know.
- 12:30Speaker 2: I don't do that no more. The things I used
- 12:32Speaker 2: to do with my friends, I don't.
- 12:34Speaker 6: Do no more.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Man, we're gonna go over here, I ain't gonna no no.
- 12:39Speaker 2: I've gotten in the car with a guy knowing he
- 12:43Speaker 2: was going to do something wrong, and he told me
- 12:47Speaker 2: I'll let you out, and he didn't, so I ended
- 12:51Speaker 2: up going with him. So now if I'm in Cleveland,
- 12:54Speaker 2: everybody knows when asked me to get in no car.
- 12:58Speaker 2: They know that I ain't getting in your car, man,
- 13:02Speaker 2: while you're on ride with us. I got a driver. Dog.
- 13:06Speaker 2: We all go in the same place. Just ride with us.
- 13:08Speaker 2: I have a driver. I'm getting in this car right here,

- 13:32Speaker 2: was going to prison. All right.

- 13:38Speaker 9: hear from the nephew. Is he runs that prank back?

- 14:33Speaker 6: his face, and we're gonna ask him how much in
- 14:37Speaker 6: the collection plate? Past how much? Isn't that That's what
- 14:41Speaker 6: the members holds to know. Let's go cat now. Hello, Hello,
- 14:46Speaker 6: I'm trying to reach Pastor Hayes. Pastor Hayes, how.
- 14:51Speaker 2: You doing this? Is? This is brother line LINEA Thompson.
- 14:54Speaker 2: How you doing it?
- 14:55Speaker 10: I'm good brother? And how can I help you today?
- 14:58Speaker 6: Past I'm actually one of your members at the church,
- 15:02Speaker 6: and I want to just command you that you're doing
- 15:03Speaker 6: a good job the way you are displaying safety.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Let me say that first and foremost.
- 15:10Speaker 10: Okay, cool, thank you. You know, we just want everybody
- 15:12Speaker 10: to be safe and healthy. And and your name.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Again the brother line of Thompson.
- 15:17Speaker 10: Okay, and and and other times I'm tying about to
- 15:20Speaker 10: be in the middle of dinner. How can they help you?
- 15:22Speaker 2: Brother?
- 15:22Speaker 6: Well, here here's what I wanted to ask you, man, Uh,
- 15:26Speaker 6: I want to ask you this. I know you know,
- 15:28Speaker 6: a lot of people are going through different things and
- 15:30Speaker 6: and uh, people are you know, trying to make sure
- 15:33Speaker 6: they keep food and stuff in the house because it's
- 15:35Speaker 6: you know, time like this. You know you kind of
- 15:37Speaker 6: want to stay put, and but you want to make
- 15:39Speaker 6: sure you got enough food and water and things like that.
- 15:41Speaker 6: So but but but what I wanted my reason for
- 15:44Speaker 6: calling you is I wanted to ask you how how
- 15:47Speaker 6: much money do we.
- 15:48Speaker 7: Have in the account?
- 15:51Speaker 2: The church account? How much money do we have in there? Brother?
- 15:54Speaker 10: Brother? What what do you say? Your name?
- 15:57Speaker 2: My name is brother line of Thompson.
- 15:59Speaker 10: Okay, brother Thompson. How did you get my personal cell
- 16:02Speaker 10: phone number to be calling me at home the time
- 16:04Speaker 10: of day?
- 16:05Speaker 2: Well? I got this number from one of the brothers
- 16:07Speaker 2: at the church.
- 16:08Speaker 10: What what?
- 16:08Speaker 7: Brother?
- 16:09Speaker 10: The church is they know not to give my personal
- 16:11Speaker 10: numbers too to people I don't know?
- 16:13Speaker 7: Are you?
- 16:14Speaker 6: Well, I'm a I'm a but I'm a but I'm
- 16:16Speaker 6: a member though I'm a member.
- 16:18Speaker 10: Well, how long you been a member? Because I've been
- 16:19Speaker 10: pasting this church for ten years and your name ain't
- 16:22Speaker 10: familiar to me. How long? How long you been a
- 16:24Speaker 10: member of my church?
- 16:25Speaker 6: I've been a member of probably going on going on
- 16:29Speaker 6: three years now, but I ain't. I ain't been since,
- 16:32Speaker 6: you know, since that day I joined. You know, you know,
- 16:35Speaker 6: I kind of got caught out there, you know.
- 16:37Speaker 2: How I go.
- 16:38Speaker 10: But uh yeah, wait wait wait wait wait wait. So
- 16:40Speaker 10: you you've been a member of my church two or
- 16:42Speaker 10: three years. You ain't been to the church in two
- 16:44Speaker 10: to three years? Are you calling me to ask me
- 16:46Speaker 10: about finances of my church? Well, I'm saying what you're
- 16:50Speaker 10: looking for?
- 16:51Speaker 6: Well, I am a member, So I mean I do
- 16:53Speaker 6: have to don't I have the right to know what
- 16:55Speaker 6: we got in there? What we got in the account?
- 16:57Speaker 10: Actually, you don't. You don't have to write to that question.
- 17:00Speaker 10: If you don't actively come to the church. You can't
- 17:03Speaker 10: come to the church, sign up the church, and then
- 17:05Speaker 10: call me three years later asking me what we got
- 17:08Speaker 10: going on at church. So I need to understand what
- 17:10Speaker 10: is your purpose?
- 17:11Speaker 6: What do you Well, like I say, everybody going through
- 17:14Speaker 6: hard times, I'm trying to see what we got in there,
- 17:18Speaker 6: because you know, I need to pick up a few
- 17:20Speaker 6: things from the stove. I don't have the money right now,
- 17:22Speaker 6: but shouldn't I be able to lean on my church?
- 17:25Speaker 10: Though you can lean on up. We've done a lot
- 17:28Speaker 10: of stuff in the community. We've been seeing the elderly.
- 17:30Speaker 10: We got a full bank. We've been cash affing people
- 17:33Speaker 10: some money that when we can. But you ain't been
- 17:36Speaker 10: at this church in three years. You can't call me
- 17:38Speaker 10: after three years and think I'm about to give you
- 17:40Speaker 10: some money for someone I don't even know.
- 17:42Speaker 7: If you're a real member.
- 17:43Speaker 2: I am a real I'm a real member.
- 17:45Speaker 6: So hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, pastor,
- 17:48Speaker 6: hold on, no, no, hold.
- 17:50Speaker 10: On, no, no, no, you hold on what boy? Look here,
- 17:53Speaker 10: I'm trying to sit down have dinner with my family.
- 17:55Speaker 10: You sitting here on my last night. Look here, brother Thompson,
- 17:58Speaker 10: I don't know you. I ain't never heard of you.
- 18:01Speaker 10: You am not about to call here and try to
- 18:03Speaker 10: get some money out of me. You ain't even a
- 18:05Speaker 10: member of the church.
- 18:07Speaker 2: I am a member of the church.
- 18:09Speaker 10: Because you come to the church one time. You ain't
- 18:11Speaker 10: been back in three years, and you come to me
- 18:14Speaker 10: for some money I am amber gave your mama. You

- 22:59Speaker 9: All right, Lena in Pittsburgh right writes, I was at
- 23:04Speaker 9: the gym with my husband and a man started talking
- 23:07Speaker 9: to me. He didn't seem bothered when I told him
- 23:09Speaker 9: my husband was in the gym somewhere, probably watching us.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Why are men so bold? Now? Should I have told
- 23:15Speaker 1: my husband about this?
- 23:18Speaker 10: Well?
- 23:20Speaker 2: Sometimes when if you handled it the right way like
- 23:23Speaker 2: you did, you told him your husband was in the gym,
- 23:26Speaker 2: and he continued to talk to you. When you say,
- 23:28Speaker 2: why are me and so about? Should I have told
- 23:30Speaker 2: my husband?
- 23:31Speaker 1: Now?
- 23:32Speaker 2: Most grown women will tell you if they handled it,
- 23:36Speaker 2: they'll just leave it there because they know. Now, if
- 23:39Speaker 2: I go over here and get my husband, this could
- 23:42Speaker 2: turn into something totally different. Yes, now my husband is arrested,
- 23:47Speaker 2: maybe in some type of altercation, hurt, anything like that.
- 23:50Speaker 2: So you know your husband. Most women know their husband.
- 23:56Speaker 2: You know what you should tell him or not, because
- 23:59Speaker 2: you know how it is reacting. She's gonna be now
- 24:01Speaker 2: if his reaction is gonna be go down there and whoop.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Somebody might not want to tell him that. Yeah. Yeah,
- 24:09Speaker 2: man was talking to you because he liked what he sees.
- 24:11Speaker 2: You told him your husband was probably in the gym
- 24:13Speaker 2: watching us. He kept on talking. Wow, that was going
- 24:17Speaker 2: to get your husband could result in something kind of crazy.
- 24:20Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 24:21Speaker 9: Okay, all right, thank you, Colo. Moving on to Julia
- 24:25Speaker 9: and New Orleans. Julia's writes, I'm getting a divorce and
- 24:29Speaker 9: my wife asked if we can have sex just a
- 24:31Speaker 9: few more times. We've had more sex during our divorce
- 24:36Speaker 9: than we had during our marriage. We never talk about
- 24:39Speaker 9: what we're doing, we just do it. Is it best
- 24:42Speaker 9: to cut things off with her?
- 24:44Speaker 1: What's going on? Together?
- 24:46Speaker 7: Not together?
- 24:47Speaker 2: Hey? Dog? Is this a complaint?
- 24:49Speaker 1: I know what. I'm trying to figure it out too.
- 24:53Speaker 2: He's stupid, you know, I don't. I don't know, man,
- 24:59Speaker 2: I don't bro Is she trying to get back with you?
- 25:04Speaker 2: Is that what it is? It's been a change of
- 25:07Speaker 2: hardest what. I don't know? Y'all playing a game? Enjoy yourself, man,
- 25:11Speaker 2: Next question shall Shanti?
- 25:14Speaker 8: Moving on to Shanti and Chante and Pine Bluff, Chante writes,
- 25:19Speaker 8: I had a rendezvous with an older man, and I
- 25:21Speaker 8: found out later that he works with my uncle.
- 25:25Speaker 1: I tell my uncle about it because I'm thirty seven
- 25:27Speaker 1: years old and.
- 25:28Speaker 9: Grown, at least I thought I was until he told
- 25:32Speaker 9: my parents. Do I have to explain my sex life
- 25:35Speaker 9: to my family.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Going why did you tell your uncle?
- 25:40Speaker 8: I know?
- 25:40Speaker 9: Because they work together, that's why. That's the only reason. Yeah,
- 25:45Speaker 9: and Ley said, she's thirty seven and grown.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Wait you know how many?
- 25:49Speaker 2: What?
- 25:50Speaker 1: What? What are you about to say for this Scenarioio?

- 26:25Speaker 1: Stop. So yeah, I'll tell you.
- 26:29Speaker 2: You ain't got to tell nobody all that stuff. What
- 26:31Speaker 2: are you doing?
- 26:33Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 26:34Speaker 2: You know it don't make no sense?
- 26:39Speaker 1: Okay, moving on last one. Yeah, your uncle probably didn't
- 26:44Speaker 1: want to know. Last one. This is from Pierre in
- 26:48Speaker 1: t Neck.
- 26:49Speaker 9: Pierre writes, I was out with my girlfriend and my
- 26:53Speaker 9: card was declined. I was so ashamed when she said
- 26:58Speaker 9: she had to when she had to pay for dinner.
- 27:00Speaker 9: Even though I gave her the money back and explained
- 27:02Speaker 9: what happened, she still won't go out with me again.
- 27:05Speaker 9: Oh do I keep trying or do I give up?
- 27:11Speaker 2: His card was declined, Uh huh, yeah, depending on how
- 27:16Speaker 2: much it was. Though, that's the.
- 27:19Speaker 6: Whole dinner for two hundred and something.
- 27:21Speaker 8: Yeah, she had to pay for dinner, but he ended
- 27:24Speaker 8: up paying her back. He explain what happened to her,
- 27:30Speaker 8: but she still won't go out with him again.
- 27:33Speaker 6: I didn't I didn't have mine decline with my wife,
- 27:37Speaker 6: and she the one to pay the bill.
- 27:38Speaker 2: I missed that.
- 27:38Speaker 6: We didn't stay there right there together. She didn't got
- 27:40Speaker 6: that decline. I forgot.
- 27:46Speaker 2: All the time. I don't even know. I got so
- 27:50Speaker 2: many hacks on my card. I'll tell you what I
- 27:54Speaker 2: can't stand. If I'm buying something with credit card and
- 27:57Speaker 2: they asked me for a pin, I'll be looking that
- 28:00Speaker 2: them people so crazy opinion. I asked this one lady,
- 28:04Speaker 2: I said, what is that? She said, sir, your pin
- 28:08Speaker 2: to to complete the transaction.
- 28:11Speaker 1: I said, what, So what did you end up doing?
- 28:15Speaker 1: What happened?
- 28:17Speaker 2: I just give it something else?
- 28:20Speaker 1: Another card? You got backup card? Another man? Yeah?
- 28:25Speaker 2: Right right, so I know something in here. Ain't got
- 28:27Speaker 2: no pin on it.
- 28:28Speaker 7: Not here.
- 28:31Speaker 2: If you asked me for a PM, man, I'm just

- 29:23Speaker 2: Well, my son was helping me to He found out
- 29:25Speaker 2: how many cars I had. He said, I don't know, man,
- 29:35Speaker 2: that was that was pretty cool for me.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Yeah, you enjoyed that.
- 29:39Speaker 9: Yeah, so one of those she won't She won't go
- 29:41Speaker 9: out with him. So should he keep trying or just
- 29:44Speaker 9: give up on her and move on?
- 29:45Speaker 2: No, man, just let it go, bro. She she ain't
- 29:48Speaker 2: the person, you know. I mean, if you can't be

- 29:59Speaker 2: She was embarrassed, you know.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Yeah it must have been.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Because that ain't the first time something gonna go wrong. Yeah,
- 30:11Speaker 2: lationship and a person as soon as something go wrong,
- 30:14Speaker 2: they jump ship.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Yeah you yeah, all right? Good bye, Steve. All right,
- 30:20Speaker 1: thank you, Clo yep.
- 30:22Speaker 8: Coming up at the top of the hour, we will
- 30:23Speaker 8: have some entertainment news for you right after this.
- 30:27Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:34Speaker 9: All right, So, Steve, you have a big new annual
- 30:37Speaker 9: event and it's wrapping up this week in Doha. It's
- 30:41Speaker 9: called the Open Fire Food Festival and the turnout has
- 30:45Speaker 9: been quite impressive. So please tell us, sir about this
- 30:49Speaker 9: open Fire Food Festival.
- 30:52Speaker 2: What's the roomful?
- 30:54Speaker 6: Because you ain't invite nobody to your little thing, you know,
- 30:57Speaker 6: you come.
- 31:00Speaker 2: And hang out with you here. I'm glad you asked that,
- 31:03Speaker 2: because when I invite you your invitation you actually won't
- 31:08Speaker 2: as fare in a room.
- 31:11Speaker 6: Wouldn't I ask for that?
- 31:14Speaker 1: We all that right there?
- 31:18Speaker 6: Who has a rich uncle? And don't use that. I
- 31:21Speaker 6: don't understand. I don't understand where you where you're coming from.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Where is the logic in that? Yeah, I agree with you.
- 31:30Speaker 2: It's like saying, hey man, I'm getting married, I'm gonna
- 31:33Speaker 2: invite you to the when and by my tucks.
- 31:38Speaker 6: Well, no, that's.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Not the problem is you don't know. Good. I'm glad
- 31:47Speaker 2: you all said. It's not the same because the airplane
- 31:51Speaker 2: ticket and the hotel room is way more than the
- 31:55Speaker 2: tucks would be. So you're right, it's not the same.
- 31:58Speaker 2: I'm glad you bought it up.
- 32:00Speaker 9: Don't use that as a comparison. Yeah, so you're just
- 32:03Speaker 9: going to and give him tickets to the fire festival
- 32:05Speaker 9: and then he just where's heat? Where's he gonna stay
- 32:08Speaker 9: when he gets there?
- 32:09Speaker 2: When you get him?
- 32:10Speaker 1: Why would you go somewhere in the sweet Temmy.
- 32:15Speaker 6: I'm staying at his house wherever.
- 32:17Speaker 2: He at.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Thetel, sweet house, whatever, whatever.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Well, I don't allow that no more.
- 32:25Speaker 9: But that's your nephew I'm talking about in Chicago.
- 32:33Speaker 2: In Chicago, I let him.
- 32:35Speaker 8: I told him, m I don't remember this.
- 32:38Speaker 11: What happened?
- 32:39Speaker 2: Yeah, Well he went down to the front desk. Yeah,
- 32:44Speaker 2: I told the people. They knew he was my nephew.
- 32:46Speaker 2: They know nephew Tommy. They give him this food, go
- 32:50Speaker 2: up to my house and little bit and plans a
- 32:54Speaker 2: party in my place and through the party in my place.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Where else I'm I throw it? Where else am I
- 33:02Speaker 1: gonna throw it? It was a real nice party we
- 33:05Speaker 1: all went.
- 33:06Speaker 2: I remember that what now?
- 33:10Speaker 1: But that's so that's why you threw the party.
- 33:13Speaker 6: If you was there, then it would have been your party.
- 33:16Speaker 6: But you're not there.
- 33:18Speaker 1: It's mine.
- 33:22Speaker 2: You don't you don't see the triflingness in this? How
- 33:30Speaker 2: does it? You don't see how trifling that is? Then
- 33:33Speaker 2: I come back. My house is destroyed.
- 33:38Speaker 1: No that's not right, a little crazy.
- 33:40Speaker 2: I mean I'm talking about destroyed food in the floors,
- 33:47Speaker 2: drink glasses all over the place. That you didn't do that.
- 33:53Speaker 2: The people you had that my bed messed up? Who's
- 33:56Speaker 2: been on top of the bed? Who been on top
- 33:58Speaker 2: of the bed?
- 34:00Speaker 6: Well, I mean that's disrespectful.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Somebody got in it, you know what I mean? You know?
- 34:06Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 34:06Speaker 1: Is that you were? You and your uncles? No, no, no, no.
- 34:09Speaker 6: I ain't done nothing like that. Okay, that's the probably
- 34:13Speaker 6: is the thing. You came home before the cleaning people came.
- 34:16Speaker 6: You see what I'm saying. I was everything was gonna
- 34:19Speaker 6: be cleaned up. You just know that's what happened when
- 34:22Speaker 6: you got them friving jets to close.
- 34:24Speaker 2: The party was on a Saturday. I came back home
- 34:27Speaker 2: on a Wednesday. When when was the cleaning crew?
- 34:32Speaker 6: What what.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Scheduled?
- 34:37Speaker 2: Hey man, my bathroom looked like a bathroom at a
- 34:42Speaker 2: gas station.
- 34:46Speaker 6: But but but BUCkies though, But.
- 34:47Speaker 1: BUCkies where they have the clean bathroom.
- 34:52Speaker 2: No, it wasn't BUCkies. No, uh uh.
- 34:59Speaker 1: All of this is him to your Yeah, because we
- 35:05Speaker 1: haven't heard about the yet.
- 35:08Speaker 2: Well, when he said he's gonna stay at my house,
- 35:11Speaker 2: that killed all this here. We can quit talking about
- 35:13Speaker 2: the festival. If you're talking about your staying in my house,
- 35:18Speaker 2: that's why you're not all right.
- 35:19Speaker 6: I'm not staying that. Can you tell us about the principal?
- 35:21Speaker 6: Tell me what I'm missing.
- 35:22Speaker 2: It's really nice.
- 35:26Speaker 1: It's open, there's fire, and there's food.
- 35:29Speaker 2: You know, a food festival because it just makes people
- 35:34Speaker 2: come together in terms of food. And I go out
- 35:37Speaker 2: the country because a lot of these people are from
- 35:40Speaker 2: different nationalities, and I have foods from all over the
- 35:43Speaker 2: world bought in, you know. But here's the thing. I
- 35:50Speaker 2: can't say it on the radio because let me just
- 35:53Speaker 2: say this, I will be doing it at home very
- 35:58Speaker 2: very soon.
- 36:01Speaker 1: So then maybe we can come to that one, okay, and.
- 36:04Speaker 2: Then you'll be invited to that because after this over,

- 44:31Speaker 2: You gotta get them memory's tape. What you gotta go back?
- 44:36Speaker 8: What are they gonna play all their songs? They don't
- 44:39Speaker 8: have that kind of technology.
- 44:40Speaker 2: Well then they got what they got what that thing
- 44:43Speaker 2: called a peach or orange. What they called apple apple,
- 44:49Speaker 2: that's it.
- 44:52Speaker 1: Apple.
- 44:54Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you know, I just trying to figure out
- 44:56Speaker 2: what they got. You don't have in order fruit or

- 45:00Speaker 2: get all that, and you gotta go back and there
- 45:02Speaker 2: and started listening. You know, look it up. Marvin Gay
- 45:06Speaker 2: all green, you know, you know, you know all that.
- 45:09Speaker 2: You know that what you gotta do. And then and
- 45:13Speaker 2: then you know yourself something you know here win a
- 45:15Speaker 2: five O J dramatics. You know, I wanna go outside
- 45:26Speaker 2: all that here? Then he said you know why, he said,
- 45:32Speaker 2: it may sound crazy, but I gotta go outside. Boy,
- 45:39Speaker 2: Yeah there was jams right there.
- 45:40Speaker 7: Boy.
- 45:41Speaker 1: Schoolies kids on what they should do.
- 45:43Speaker 2: First, call your mom and your aunt nim and ask
- 45:46Speaker 2: him who is the coldest singing they ever heard? And
- 45:49Speaker 2: then look them up on the apple apple thing. Okay,
- 45:53Speaker 2: all right, see you load down it and then you'll
- 45:56Speaker 2: have it on that.

- 46:28Speaker 8: see the place without me?
- 46:30Speaker 6: Didn't that means you any included?
- 46:35Speaker 9: Let's see what that's all about. And just amusing because
- 46:37Speaker 9: right now you hear the nephew. He's here with today's
- 46:40Speaker 9: Frank phone call.
- 46:41Speaker 6: Nephew, what you got I got it, Shirley. This right
- 46:44Speaker 6: here is something that most people do not want to
- 46:46Speaker 6: hear They don't want to hear this, and oh this,
- 46:49Speaker 6: this is this, but but a lot have heard it.
- 46:52Speaker 6: A lot have heard it. Divorce papers. Yeah, let that marrinate.
- 46:58Speaker 1: She's paper.
- 47:01Speaker 2: Let's go, let's go get dog. This is divorce papers.

- 47:17Speaker 6: I'm actually trying to get some business rectified dealing with
- 47:21Speaker 6: your divorce that took place, I guess over the last
- 47:23Speaker 6: seven whole years.
- 47:24Speaker 2: My correct?
- 47:25Speaker 10: Correct?
- 47:26Speaker 2: I got some foul up with your paperwork here.
- 47:28Speaker 6: Now, you guys had some property that you owned together,
- 47:31Speaker 6: I believe in Avondale.
- 47:32Speaker 2: Am I correct? Correct?
- 47:34Speaker 6: I'm looking at your paperwork here, miss Okay. Now we're
- 47:39Speaker 6: getting down to the property, and that seems to be
- 47:41Speaker 6: where the problem is lies.
- 47:42Speaker 2: This is in Avondale.
- 47:43Speaker 6: You guys had some property and you sold it as
- 47:46Speaker 6: you both went and split your ways. Right, Looking at
- 47:50Speaker 6: the paperwork that I have here, it seems like it
- 47:53Speaker 6: was filled out incorrectly. I don't know how seven years
- 47:56Speaker 6: has passed for this to come back and fall on
- 47:59Speaker 6: my desk be to get rectified. But whatever the dividends
- 48:04Speaker 6: were that you guys took and shared that, you're now
- 48:09Speaker 6: looking as if you're owing mister Jones an additional eighteen
- 48:12Speaker 6: thousand dollars.
- 48:14Speaker 2: What that, ma'am? I don't know.
- 48:18Speaker 6: I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but
- 48:20Speaker 6: I wanted to bring this information to you and see
- 48:22Speaker 6: how we can get it rectified. I'm not looking for
- 48:25Speaker 6: you to have that much money available at today, but
- 48:29Speaker 6: I do know as a as an attorney for mister Jones,
- 48:31Speaker 6: I must say that we're trying to get it taken
- 48:33Speaker 6: care of as soon as possible.
- 48:35Speaker 5: Oh wait a minute, wait, lack this? How do I
- 48:39Speaker 5: owe him eighteen thouts?
- 48:42Speaker 7: I'm every what reason?
- 48:43Speaker 2: Well, the paperwork here, ma'am, seems.
- 48:45Speaker 10: To be what the PaperWorks say.
- 48:47Speaker 6: It wasn't supposed to be fifty percent, fifty percent between
- 48:50Speaker 6: you you all. It should have been seventy five twenty
- 48:53Speaker 6: five and he being seventy five percent of the property
- 48:56Speaker 6: owed to him and twenty five percent.
- 48:58Speaker 5: Oh no, I don't know how what you know, Louisa
- 49:01Speaker 5: is a community practice, and how could he gets seerenty
- 49:03Speaker 5: five percent? I mean I get.
- 49:04Speaker 6: Twenty five from my understanding that he paid most of
- 49:08Speaker 6: the bills when you guys were living together.
- 49:10Speaker 5: And I don't have anything to do with that. No,
- 49:12Speaker 5: he didn't pay most of the bills. I work and.
- 49:16Speaker 10: Contribute to right, and I understand that.
- 49:18Speaker 6: But if I understand from what I have here on
- 49:20Speaker 6: the paperwork, and I understand that you'd had some contribution
- 49:22Speaker 6: to it, but it just seems like you did not
- 49:26Speaker 6: contribute as much as he did.
- 49:27Speaker 5: And yes, and did I never heard no like this.
- 49:31Speaker 6: I do apologize, man, But what I do need you
- 49:33Speaker 6: to do is is definitely not use that type of language.
- 49:35Speaker 2: While I'm on the phone.
- 49:36Speaker 5: Okay, well, look, I don't really have to talk to
- 49:38Speaker 5: you because I know I don't know. I don't owe
- 49:41Speaker 5: no Jones no eighteen thousand dollars. And he didn't overpay
- 49:45Speaker 5: me because it was community profit. I had two children
- 49:48Speaker 5: for him. I left with none yet everything and there's
- 49:50Speaker 5: no weight I'm going to pay him no eighteen thousand dollars.
- 49:53Speaker 2: Man.
- 49:53Speaker 6: I hate to get a little abrupt with you, but
- 49:55Speaker 6: you are going to pay this eighteen thousand dollars now.
- 49:58Speaker 6: That's going to happen now if I have to garnish
- 50:01Speaker 6: your check and do it. Then that's the way have
- 50:03Speaker 6: to be done. But the money will be coming to
- 50:05Speaker 6: mister Kirk Jones in the summer of eighteen thousand.
- 50:08Speaker 2: Call it Becky. Look, don't you hang up on me again.
- 50:12Speaker 6: Now, if I have to put a lien on your
- 50:14Speaker 6: property or put a lien on yours, which one do
- 50:16Speaker 6: you want?
- 50:17Speaker 10: Look, and you want to talk to me? Life, set,
- 50:20Speaker 10: I talk to you anyway.
- 50:21Speaker 7: I want to to talk.
- 50:22Speaker 5: About because what I want to court that all that.
- 50:24Speaker 10: Was over with.
- 50:25Speaker 6: You're gonna pay eighteen thousand dollars. That's what you're gonna do.
- 50:29Speaker 10: Uh huh.
- 50:30Speaker 6: Now, I don't want to have to come to your house,
- 50:32Speaker 6: ma'am to pick up this money, but I will.
- 50:34Speaker 5: I'm not working. I want to know how to do
- 50:37Speaker 5: I have to pay him eighteen thousand.
- 50:39Speaker 6: See, you're not working. That's our problem from the start.
- 50:42Speaker 6: That's why it wasn't fifty to fifty. That's why it
- 50:44Speaker 6: was seventy five twenty five because you were.
- 50:45Speaker 10: Not holding up.
- 50:46Speaker 5: If I work all through the upstair that may twenty
- 50:49Speaker 5: six years and I worked.
- 50:51Speaker 2: Well, what is your butt doing? Now?
- 50:53Speaker 7: Nothing?
- 50:54Speaker 2: Well, there we go. That seems to be the root
- 50:56Speaker 2: of our problem. Isn't it.
- 50:57Speaker 5: No, that ain't a rulin no time, because I want
- 51:00Speaker 5: to know how did Kirk could get eighteen percent? And
- 51:03Speaker 5: the reason that as a community property, he had his
- 51:06Speaker 5: lawyer and I had my lawyer. He agreed to it,
- 51:09Speaker 5: and that was that. So I don't know how I
- 51:10Speaker 5: owe him eighteen thousand, ma'am.
- 51:13Speaker 2: That's the way the problem was.
- 51:14Speaker 6: Evidently you didn't read the paperwork that you signed when
- 51:17Speaker 6: you and Kurt separated seven years ago. Now, if you
- 51:20Speaker 6: didn't read your paperwork correctly, this is why it comes
- 51:22Speaker 6: back to bite you in your butt.
- 51:24Speaker 5: Oh no, it's not. Because I had a lawyer and
- 51:27Speaker 5: he had his lawyer. We agree with that. That was
- 51:30Speaker 5: back and forward, and we agree with everything he signed
- 51:33Speaker 5: up to and that was done.
- 51:34Speaker 6: Well, maybe you didn't have a lawyer that was worth it,
- 51:37Speaker 6: who didn't read the bottom of the paperwork himself.
- 51:39Speaker 5: And I had a lawyer. Thought I had a.
- 51:42Speaker 2: Good lawyer that and I understand that. Man, when that
- 51:44Speaker 2: happens a lot of a lot of times, I.
- 51:46Speaker 5: Can't believe that. And I had two children struggle with him,
- 51:50Speaker 5: and we got what we got by both of us work.
- 51:53Speaker 5: And this he gonna come back and and Oh, no,
- 51:56Speaker 5: I'm gonna fight this.
- 51:58Speaker 6: When can we expect the payment starting to work on
- 52:00Speaker 6: this eighteen thousand?
- 52:02Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 52:03Speaker 2: Well, I mean I'm.
- 52:03Speaker 6: Gonna have to get a date or something where I
- 52:05Speaker 6: can start getting five hundred dollars from you per month
- 52:09Speaker 6: or something like that, D five.
- 52:11Speaker 5: Hundred a month. I haven't worked. I was working when
- 52:14Speaker 5: you want to sit. I don't think I should have
- 52:16Speaker 5: to tell you all this because I need to get
- 52:18Speaker 5: talk to me a lawyer, because I'm not a greet
- 52:21Speaker 5: to anything. Because I don't think that it's not fair.
- 52:25Speaker 5: I tell you give me a dat, not because I'm
- 52:28Speaker 5: gonna have to get me a lawyer.
- 52:30Speaker 6: I'm trying to keep my composent as an attorney, ma'am.
- 52:34Speaker 5: How do you have to write? And I don't have
- 52:36Speaker 5: no say?
- 52:36Speaker 7: So?
- 52:36Speaker 5: Over there?
- 52:37Speaker 2: Are you?
- 52:38Speaker 7: Are? You?
- 52:38Speaker 2: Have you remarried?
- 52:39Speaker 6: No?
- 52:40Speaker 5: I haven't.
- 52:40Speaker 2: Okay, you realize if I don't get the money, then
- 52:44Speaker 2: I don't get paid.
- 52:46Speaker 6: Right Listen, I'm going to be down in your area
- 52:49Speaker 6: probably on Wednesday. Do you think you and I can
- 52:52Speaker 6: get together and probably talk about this because I want
- 52:54Speaker 6: to help you as much as I can.
- 52:55Speaker 5: Yeah, because I don't think it's fair to me Wednesday.
- 52:58Speaker 5: Wed I'm not I could be there.
- 53:01Speaker 6: Well, you think that maybe you and I can get
- 53:04Speaker 6: together maybe and work something out?
- 53:05Speaker 5: Yeah, because I know I'm not. I mean I cannot
- 53:08Speaker 5: afford the picture No. Eighteen hundred, you know, took the
- 53:11Speaker 5: house from it for little or nothing.
- 53:13Speaker 2: And I'll tell you what, I'll tell you what. I'll
- 53:15Speaker 2: do this.
- 53:16Speaker 1: I won't.

- 56:52Speaker 1: Subjects no subject.
- 57:00Speaker 9: They went to the place without me, dude, Stephen Shirley.
- 57:04Speaker 9: My husband claims he was trying to do something sweet
- 57:07Speaker 9: and thoughtful, but it backfired. It's backfired on him. He
- 57:10Speaker 9: decided we would go to an island for our tenth anniversary,
- 57:14Speaker 9: and he invited four couples to join us, but they
- 57:17Speaker 9: couldn't give me any details about the trip because my
- 57:20Speaker 9: husband wanted to surprise me. Last weekend, my husband and
- 57:24Speaker 9: my husband informed me that he planned a trip to
- 57:26Speaker 9: go visit the hotel, check out boat rentals, and plan
- 57:29Speaker 9: some activities for our big weekend trip.
- 57:32Speaker 1: He said it would be a quick trip and he
- 57:34Speaker 1: was taking his buddy with him to help him plan everything.
- 57:38Speaker 1: He left on Friday and texted me when he landed.
- 57:42Speaker 1: It was a long flight, so he said he was
- 57:44Speaker 1: going straight to his room and get in the bed.
- 57:47Speaker 1: I didn't hear from him until four pm the next day.
- 57:51Speaker 1: I tried to FaceTime him and he declined it.
- 57:54Speaker 8: But then he called me back on a regular call
- 57:57Speaker 8: a few minutes later, and it was loud where ever
- 58:00Speaker 8: he was. Then one of my girlfriends texted me a
- 58:03Speaker 8: picture of a lady whose name was Amber, on a
- 58:08Speaker 8: boat in Cancun. I don't like Amber because she has
- 58:12Speaker 8: been friends with my husband for fifteen years, and she
- 58:15Speaker 8: acts like she knows him a.
- 58:17Speaker 1: Lot better than I do.
- 58:19Speaker 9: I could not help but think Amber was wherever my
- 58:22Speaker 9: husband was. I called him back to back. He didn't answer,
- 58:27Speaker 9: so I sent him at least ten text messages. He
- 58:30Speaker 9: finally responded, Yes, Amber is helping me plan your weekend getaway,
- 58:35Speaker 9: and yes.
- 58:36Speaker 8: She is here with me. He got home later that
- 58:39Speaker 8: night and tried to plead his case. But I've ignored
- 58:41Speaker 8: him for over a week. He must think I'm stupid.
- 58:45Speaker 1: How could this.
- 58:46Speaker 8: Place ever be special to me? Now that he's taken
- 58:49Speaker 8: Amber there. I told him to cancel the whole trip.
- 58:52Speaker 8: He said, I'm overreacting't he Why couldn't he say that
- 58:56Speaker 8: he was going with Amber?
- 58:58Speaker 2: Well?
- 58:58Speaker 1: He did tell you that he was going with a.
- 59:00Speaker 8: Buddy, and Amber is a buddy, but you know, not
- 59:03Speaker 8: the kind of buddy that of course, you know that
- 59:07Speaker 8: that you thought he.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Was talking about. And Amber is wrong and he is wrong.
- 59:11Speaker 1: Absolutely they are both wrong for doing this. He didn't
- 59:16Speaker 1: mention it because he knew you would be mad and
- 59:18Speaker 1: probably explode on him, and you would be right, absolutely right.
- 59:23Speaker 1: Your husband, though, who your husband is thoughtful, I'll give
- 59:29Speaker 1: him that, but he's not very smart. He's not smart
- 59:32Speaker 1: at all.
- 59:32Speaker 8: It was great that he wanted to do something wonderful
- 59:35Speaker 8: for your tenth anniversary, but to plan it with this
- 59:39Speaker 8: Amber chick, who he knows you can't stand. That is
- 59:42Speaker 8: beyond stupid on his part.
- 59:45Speaker 9: How is someone you don't like gonna care enough to
- 59:48Speaker 9: plan a sexy, beautiful, awesome, memorable celebration for you? And
- 59:52Speaker 9: Amber is stupid too for going over there in the
- 59:55Speaker 9: first place. And why wasn't he answering her phone while
- 59:58Speaker 9: he was all over there with Amber? This had disaster
- 1:00:02Speaker 9: written all over it the moment your husband included her.
- 1:00:05Speaker 9: And I don't blame you for canceling the trip or
- 1:00:08Speaker 9: being upset or anything.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: You're not overreacting. You're acting as any wife.
- 1:00:12Speaker 8: Would when their husband asks a woman you don't like
- 1:00:14Speaker 8: to help plan something special for you, get out of
- 1:00:17Speaker 8: here with this, Steve.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: This is ridiculous, you know.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: This letter, man, It's just this is when men do
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: stuff so stupid that I can't help you. Dog, I
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: can't help you at all. Bro, I can't even joke
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: this one out. Yeah, I can tell you the funniest
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: that doesn't make you think, but it's not believable. Now,
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: let's just start at the bottom of this letter. The
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: subject is they went to see the place without one.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: Her last line in this letter says, he says, I'm overreacting.
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: Why couldn't he say he was going with Amber?
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: Because it is See we know why.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: Because of this. He can't come out and tell you
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: this thing, this trip is with Amber, because all it
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: is the letter, the reaction. He want this, so he
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: didn't mention Amber. Now does that make it right? This
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: dude is so dumb. Oh, so many levels, you know, Brothers.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: I try to work with y'all sometime, get y'all the
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: benefit of the doubt, and I will when I can.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: But Bro, when we do something so blatantly stupid, man,
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: I can't help you, man, what you want me to do.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: I got women that listen to this show. They don't
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: actually care about Uncle Steve's advice. Now, most of y'all
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: know when I'm joking, y'all know what I'm saying. Well,
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: he did this cause of that, you know, you know.
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: I'm just because sometimes it's so obviously stupid. But this
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: is beyond obviously stupid, because this had an element of
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: cunning involved. And this is the part where I don't
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: and I don't like it because it was a special occasion.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: This is where dudes get in the most. He decided
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: that y'all would go on an island for y'all's tenth anniversary. Okay, great,
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: he invited folk keep people to join us. Now that's
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: cause you know they got split the costs of this
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: island and all this hell maybe or maybe you know,
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: they just wanted some company and all. That's cool too,
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: But they couldn't give you any details about the trip
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: because my husband wanted to surprise me. All right, So
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: when we come back, I'm gonna show you how he
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: tried to surprise you.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: All right, we'll have part two of Steve's response.
- 1:02:59Speaker 9: Can't wait for this coming up in twenty three minutes
- 1:03:02Speaker 9: after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter subject they went to
- 1:03:06Speaker 9: see the place without me.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:17Speaker 8: Hey, it's Carla Ferroll. Kick that old mop and bucket aside.
- 1:03:21Speaker 8: Are you ready for a mop and bucket clean in
- 1:03:23Speaker 8: half the time?
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Make the swap to Swiffer Power Mop, the only one.
- 1:03:28Speaker 8: Cleaning Hero has a built in solution that breaks down
- 1:03:31Speaker 8: dirt and grime like magic. With hundreds of scrubbing strips
- 1:03:35Speaker 8: on the pad, it absorbs sticky messes with ease. Plus,
- 1:03:39Speaker 8: it'll leave your home smelling great for hours after cleaning.
- 1:03:42Speaker 8: Get yours today and mop smarter with the Swiffer Power Mop.
- 1:03:47Speaker 9: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:49Speaker 9: The subject is they went to see the place without me.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: I'm well apologized women out there that's listening to this,
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: because I just can't even play round. I don't even
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: know where we're going with this right here. The question
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: she posed at the end of the letter was why
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: couldn't he say he was going with Amber?
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: And it is.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: Because of this, This is why he didn't tell you
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: about Amber because of the reaction you have in right
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: now in this letter, and the part I don't like,
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: bruh is he used a special occasion to pull it off.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: This is where the dog come in at and this
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: is what I don't like. So he decided we'd go
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: to an island for our tenth anniversary. He invited four
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: couples to join us, but they couldn't give us any
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: details about the trip because my husband wanted to surprise me. Okay,
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: that sounds cool. But last weekend, my husband informed me
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: that he planned a trip to go visit the hotel,
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: check out the boat rentals, and plan some activities for
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: our big weekend. He said to be a quick trip
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: and he was taking his buddy with him to help
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: him plan everything right here. Why would you say you
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: taking your buddy with you to help you plan everything
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: just right there?
- 1:05:09Speaker 7: Dog?
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: He shouldn't have said it at all.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: But he shouldn't have did it, because this is for
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: your tenth anniversary. Man, you don't take special moments and
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: include trickery. Yeah, that's where the doggish part come in at, man,
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: And that's what I'm a little ticked off with you about.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: He said to be a quick trip. He's taking his
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: buddy with him to help him plan everything. He left
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: on Friday, text me when he landed. Okay, it was
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: a long flight, so he said he was going straight
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: to his room and get into bed. He did. I
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: didn't hear from him until phobi him the next day.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: I tried to FaceTime him and he declined it. See
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: why decline it? Just let listen to me. Doog. Decline
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: it means you saw it and hit the red button.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: Just let it ring. It's gonna stop. Why are you
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: declining it? You never saw it? Stupid God, you can't
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: sit them in the land. He calls me back on
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: a regular call a few minutes later, and it was
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: loud wherever he was. He was at the club. And
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: one of my girlfriends take me a picture of a
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: lady named Amber on a boat in can Coon. I
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: don't like Amber because she has been friends with my
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: husband for fifteen years and she acts like she knows
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: him a lot better than I do. Well she do.
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: He took her on the trip. Now, let me tell
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: you how you got to picture Amber on the boat
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: in Cankon. Because one of the folk couples that y'all
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: went to one of the folk couples. Dude set up
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: here and took a picture, got a picture from his
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: boy of Amber or Amber is friends with one of
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: the girls, and sent her the picture, talking about me
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: down here playing in the trip, and the girl sent
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: a picture to you. Amber is in the picture, and
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: Amber either center picture or The dumb husband said, yeah, man,
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: me and me and Amber on the boat were down
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: here and there. His wife saw it as one of
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: the other couples. You so stupid, though, right, Well, it didn't, said,
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: text me a picture of a lady named ambone the boat.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: The girlfriend I don't like Amber.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: I cannot help but think that Amber was whoever my
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: husband was. You're absolutely right. I called him back to
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: back to back. He didn't answer, so I send him
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: at least ten text messages. Oh we've all been here.
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: He finally this bonded. And then this is what this
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: fool said. Yes, Amber is helping me plan your weekend getaway,
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: and yes she is here with me.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: He knows he's wrong.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: No, what are you nuts? It's no I could have
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: admitted that what the picture say?
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: Well, I was getting ready to say the picture you
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: got the picture.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: I don't care. Oh, I wasn't in a picture.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: That is you.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: It's not me, that is you.
- 1:08:45Speaker 6: That's you.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: That's your head, that's your mustache.
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: We're in Mexico. You know how many people in Mexico
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: look like me?
- 1:08:51Speaker 8: It's not a lot of one.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: Well, they found the one who did. How could his
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: he ignored me for that? Okay? Anyway, he got home
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: later that night and tried to plead his case. I've
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: ignored him for over a week. He must think I'm stupid.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: How could this place ever be special to me? Now
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: that he's taking Amber that I told him to cancel
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: the whole trip, and I can understand you doing that,
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: he said, I'm overreacting. Why couldn't he say he was
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: going with the amber? He can't tell you tak an amble.
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: You facetimed, he declined. It he in loud atmosphere. He
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: calls you back later. I mean, come on, he should
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: have never took am But this is stupid on so
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: many levels. It's just ignorance, man, dog and bro, you
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: got to deal with the bed, you the maid. You
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: got to lay in this one. Brother. I'm sorry, I
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: don't know. I don't know what to tell you this
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: is ignorant.

- 1:14:13Speaker 9: at home. He actually told me that he would appreciate
- 1:14:17Speaker 9: it if I talked to her before I get home.
- 1:14:19Speaker 9: He said, when I'm home, that's his time. No, not
- 1:14:23Speaker 9: time to talk to her. My best friend's husband does
- 1:14:25Speaker 9: not care when she talks on the phone. Why is
- 1:14:28Speaker 9: my husband tripping?
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: Why because you're married to the stupid on.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: What he said?

- 1:14:39Speaker 2: tell your wife she can't talk to her best friend
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: at home because this is my time. Man, Go somewhere
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: and find yourself something to do. Get you a project,

- 1:14:51Speaker 2: There's a bunch of men like that, you controlling, bro,
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: Get you some golf clubs. Go learn that that take
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: the rest of your life to figure that out. Go
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: learn how to hit the golf ball. Make it go
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: where you want to go. You're gonna be all day.
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: You ain't got to Where about what your wife talking about?
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: Go fishing? Oh?

- 1:15:08Speaker 1: That's part of winding you know what, man, from your day,
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: kicking it with your girl.
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: I love it when I hear my girl in the
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: background enjoying herself, laughing and stuff like that.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: Yeah, because that's all we're doing is kicking.
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: Happy wife, happy life.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: Here all right, we have time for another talking to hush.
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: I ain't got to be trying to figure out nothing
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: to talk about. See right there, you've been with somebody
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: over twenty years. Man, you a whole lot to talk about.
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: No more today.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: How was your day, honey?
- 1:15:45Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: All that my husband does that? Call your friend to
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: call your sister.
- 1:15:50Speaker 9: I'm watching it again. I find something to do to
- 1:15:54Speaker 9: get out of here. Get all right, we have time
- 1:15:58Speaker 9: for another one, like I said. This is from rand
- 1:16:00Speaker 9: in Hampton. Brandy says, I was talking to my fiance
- 1:16:03Speaker 9: about her wedding and she told me that she wants
- 1:16:05Speaker 9: to invite her ex husband's mother and sister because they're
- 1:16:09Speaker 9: like family to her. She told me that they just
- 1:16:12Speaker 9: had lunch last month, and she didn't tell me because
- 1:16:15Speaker 9: she knew I wouldn't like it. I opened up and
- 1:16:18Speaker 9: told her that I talked to my ex wife's dad
- 1:16:20Speaker 9: often and we're still close. She said, I'm trying to
- 1:16:23Speaker 9: go tit for tat with her, but it looks like
- 1:16:25Speaker 9: we're both keeping secrets. I love my ex father in law.
- 1:16:29Speaker 9: He's responsible for shaping me into the man that I
- 1:16:32Speaker 9: am today. Is it best to allow my fiance to
- 1:16:35Speaker 9: keep her ex's family.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: So I can keep mine. That's the question.
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: Yes, And the answer is.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: Yes, Steve.
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: She's not having lunch with her ex. She's having lunch
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: with his mother and his sister. They formed a relationship.
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: And if it ain't none wrong with that.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Their relatives to the king. It's grandmother and aunt.
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: That's still that's still that grandmother, you know what I mean.
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: So that's cool. You have a relationship with your father
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: and ex father in law. I understand it. He shaped
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: you into the man you are today. Maybe your father
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: was absent from your life. That's a great relationship to maintain. Yeah, yeah, man,
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: just tit for tat. You know, she hurts you when
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: you told her that, then you try to open up
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: and hurt her back, both of y'all doing it. It's okay, man,
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: Them relationships are okay. They're not going on.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: Everybody's grown here, it's okay. Yeah, what's wrong with everybody?
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: Everybody's so uptight and just chance and competition mad.
- 1:17:51Speaker 9: It walking on eggshells around you. I can't say nothing.
- 1:17:56Speaker 9: What's going on?
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: World?
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: Be kind, be nice, that's okay. Let's get back to that.
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: Support each other, yeah, yeah, love each other. That's not love.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: What you guys are doing?
- 1:18:13Speaker 7: You know that?
- 1:18:14Speaker 14: Right?
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: Wow? All right? So, Steve, are you are you friendly
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: with any of your ex's family members?
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: I am cool with one my first wife's little brother.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Okay, okay, so your ex brother in law.
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: Because he has called me many times to thank me
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: man for helping him become a man and taught you.
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: You told me, I may you taught me so much?
- 1:18:40Speaker 7: All right?
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: Cool?
- 1:18:41Speaker 10: Thank you guys.

- 1:23:17Speaker 2: Okay? Everything? It's hard hard to shoot a rabbit, man fast,
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: rabbits deer hard to shoot too, And then you gotta
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: shoot the right one. You just can't go up and
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: that off. And they don't never pass by they sign
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: them deal, don't never come by the sign if.

- 1:25:17Speaker 1: and it's Friday. It is Friday. So Stee, we have
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: a call and I just want to shout us out.
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: Check it out.
- 1:25:28Speaker 7: Good morning, Steve, our recruit. I just want to make
- 1:25:31Speaker 7: y'all phil it. This is twenty twenty six and you
- 1:25:34Speaker 7: guys are still motivating and still help you up. And Steve,
- 1:25:38Speaker 7: I want to appreciate you. You give me the words
- 1:25:41Speaker 7: every morning before I go to work and even on
- 1:25:44Speaker 7: your podcast, and I catch up with everything that I can. Hey,
- 1:25:48Speaker 7: I love Junior, I love a nephew, Tommy Chill, I
- 1:25:52Speaker 7: love everybody. So I just want to say thank y'all. Man, y'all,
- 1:25:56Speaker 7: y'all make every morning so comfortable and easy to get
- 1:25:59Speaker 7: up to after having a long week, long day the
- 1:26:04Speaker 7: next morning, I just say that, Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 1:26:08Speaker 7: I appreciate you guys.
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: Mad a radio showing the land babe, you know, and
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: we are you know. That's that's our mission to uplift, inspire, encourage, entertained.
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: That's it. Now we'll try to inform you, you know,
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: and we do the best we can, you know, I said.
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: I even said after the results of this election, I'm
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: not asking nobody else to vote no more ever again.
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: But I didn't change my mind. Begging y'all to go
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: to the polls to these mid terms again, because I
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: think we learned the valuable lesson. We found out what
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: happened when you don't go to the polls. I don't
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: know if we could have stopped that election last time,
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: because it's such a big, widespread you know, it's five million,
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: so I don't know if we could have stopped that,
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: and the hatred in that vote was so obvious. But
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: you know, we just keep doing what we're doing. The
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: Bible says, never cease from doing good, never cease from
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: doing good. You know how hard it is man to
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: just keep doing good in the face of so much
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: that's going wrong. That's hard, man. And you think you
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: think that would be an automatic, just keep doing good,
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: keep doing the right thing. But no, they had to
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: write a scripture about it to remind us to not
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: to cease, to keep doing good even when it seemed
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: like it ain't paying off. It will keep doing good.
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: Stay disciplined, y'all, Stay disciplined this year. Discipline is worth
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: more than it's critical, man, because discipline, discipline ain't got
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: nothing to do with how you feel. You know what
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: I mean? Times you say I'm gonna go to GMDA
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: I don't feel like and then you just say, okay, cool,
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: I don't feel like it.
- 1:28:13Speaker 7: No.
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: But when you discipline, you go. You go when you
- 1:28:16Speaker 2: don't want to, You go when the weather ain't right,
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: you go when you don't feel up to it. You
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: go because you said you was gonna go. That's what
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: discipline is. State disciplined, y'all. State of course, keep the faith,
- 1:28:30Speaker 2: fight hard, be encouraged. Man, don't ever give up. Got
- 1:28:35Speaker 2: a lot of blessings come in your way if you
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: don't give up. You know the thing about quitting, you
- 1:28:39Speaker 2: ensure one thing that it will never happen again. You
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: ensure the one thing that you want it'll never happen.
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: That's the guarantee of quitting that you will now ensure
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: that the one thing you want it will not happen.
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: Why because I quit, I gave up. She got to
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: hang in there, man. You got to stay with it
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: when it look bad. You got to stay with it
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: when you feel like it ain't going right. You got
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: to stay with it when you got some bad news
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: concerning it. You got when you've been turned away. You
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: got to stay with it. When somebody you thought would
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: love the idea. You say, no, I'm gonna tell you
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: to give you a prime example. I was in a
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: meeting recently and I had an idea and I shared
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: with a really this is a really, really important and
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: powerful person. I shared the idea with them, and they
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: shot it down so fast in front of my face
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: and told me, well, our business doesn't have that problem,
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: So you want me to pay you this much to
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: solve a problem we don't have. And I was trying
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: to explain to them, you do have this problem, and
- 1:29:52Speaker 2: they said, no, we don't because look at me. I'm fine.
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: That's like me saying black people ain't got no problem,
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: look at my life? What are you kidding me?
- 1:30:05Speaker 5: Dog?
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: And that's another thing. I hope I don't lose track
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: of where I'm going with this. I think I already have,
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: but let me touch on this. I hate when a
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: person tells me, I don't see why you're complaining about
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: the conditions in America. Look at your life. Wait a minute.
- 1:30:23Speaker 2: First of all, we ain't really just talking about my life.
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: I'm talking about the plight of my people, which are
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: black people. That's who I'm fighting for. And secondly, if
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: I told you what all I had to do to
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: have this life versus some of my countess who I
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: know have a better life and ain't done near as much.
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: It would throw you into something. It would throw you
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: into something. Seeing I knew I was gonna lose track
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: of my thought because I had something else and I
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: went there. So I said, surely, do you know where
- 1:30:58Speaker 2: I was?
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: You were talking about discipline.
- 1:31:02Speaker 9: The.
- 1:31:05Speaker 2: Discipline that's required to be successful. It requires everything you have.
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: If you can be disciplined, it can get you there,
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: get you there. Hard work pays off. Discipline has a
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: reward to it. Okay, keep all that in mind this year,
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: because God has some great stuff for you if you
- 1:31:31Speaker 2: just don't give up. Don't give up, y'all, no matter
