Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: We are going to start with some breaking news, and
- 0:03Speaker 1: that is the Supreme Court has stayed a lower court ruling.
- 0:08Speaker 1: What does that mean. It means it allows Donald Trump's
- 0:12Speaker 1: transgender ban to proceed when it comes to military service. Now,
- 0:19Speaker 1: the Supreme Court siding with the Trump administration and lifting a.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Lower court order that had paused the.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Pentagon's transgender military ban from taking effect, allowing Trump's order
- 0:33Speaker 1: and related policies to now proceed, at least for the
- 0:38Speaker 1: time being.
- 0:39Speaker 2: The High court ruling is a near.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Term victory for the White House, even as it did
- 0:46Speaker 1: not address the underlying merits of the case or President
- 0:50Speaker 1: Donald Trump's January the twenty seventh executive order. Now, that
- 0:55Speaker 1: executive order is clearly what.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Was in play here.
- 0:59Speaker 1: That executive order was banning transgender service members from the
- 1:03Speaker 1: US military. Just as at saughta my Or Alana Kagan KEANJ.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Brown Jackson would have denied the administration's appeal and kept
- 1:13Speaker 1: the lower court injunction in place. At issue in the
- 1:16Speaker 1: suit was Shilling versus the United States.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Is Trump's executive.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Order banning transgender military members, something the last administration was
- 1:25Speaker 1: absolutely obsessed with having a military that was an experiment
- 1:29Speaker 1: in life, instead of having a fighting force that was
- 1:32Speaker 1: ready to protect all of us around the world and
- 1:35Speaker 1: risk their lives now. The Trump administration had argued that
- 1:40Speaker 1: further stalling the policy would pose a threat to US
- 1:44Speaker 1: military readiness, concerns that it outlined to the Supreme Court
- 1:48Speaker 1: in their filing late last month.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Let me tell you about Patriot Mobile real quick.
- 1:53Speaker 1: If you've got a cell phone and your cell phone
- 1:56Speaker 1: is not with Patriot Mobile, then the question I gotta
- 1:58Speaker 1: ask you is why why have you not made the switch? Well,
- 2:03Speaker 1: you should make the switch, and the deal is really easy.
- 2:07Speaker 1: You get cutting edge technology. Switching has never been easier.
- 2:10Speaker 1: There's no store visits, no hassles. You get to keep
- 2:13Speaker 1: your same phone number you have right now. You get
- 2:15Speaker 1: to keep your same phone you've got now or upgrade
- 2:18Speaker 1: to a new one. And they have a one hundred
- 2:20Speaker 1: percent US based team that can activate you literally in minutes.
- 2:24Speaker 1: The other thing that I love about Patriot Mobile is
- 2:26Speaker 1: this they have access to all three major networks, meaning
- 2:30Speaker 1: you get exceptional nationwide coverage.
- 2:33Speaker 2: I use Patriot Mobile and half for years.
- 2:36Speaker 1: They can even put a second number on a different
- 2:39Speaker 1: network on your phone. It's like carrying two phones in one.
- 2:43Speaker 1: You can have a work number and a personal number.
- 2:46Speaker 1: It's amazing. They have unlimited data plans, mobile hotspots, international roaming,
- 2:52Speaker 1: internet on the go devices, and home internet backup as well.
- 2:56Speaker 1: You can get all of this from Patriot Mobile. So
- 3:00Speaker 1: why are you waiting? Make the switch today? And by
- 3:03Speaker 1: the way, when you pay your bill, you know that
- 3:06Speaker 1: about five percent of that bill every month is going
- 3:08Speaker 1: back to support conservative causes.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Causes that stand for our First or.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Second Amendment rights, the rights of unborn children, and they
- 3:16Speaker 1: stand with our veterans, our first responders, our police and firemen,
- 3:20Speaker 1: are EMTs and are wounded warriors. So make a difference
- 3:23Speaker 1: with every call you make. So right now, go to
- 3:26Speaker 1: Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson or call them ninety seven
- 3:32Speaker 1: to two Patriot. You're going to get a free month
- 3:35Speaker 1: of service with the promo code ferguson. So switch to
- 3:37Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile and make a difference with every call you make.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson or nine to seven
- 3:44Speaker 1: to two Patriot.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Now.
- 3:46Speaker 2: The executive order, it was very simple.
- 3:48Speaker 1: It just required the Defense Department to update it's guidance
- 3:52Speaker 1: regarding the quote trends, identifying medical standards for military service,
- 3:57Speaker 1: and also to resend guidance consistent with military readiness. This
- 4:01Speaker 1: is all about having a force that is ready to
- 4:04Speaker 1: protect and defend absince stay quote. The District Court's universal
- 4:09Speaker 1: injunction will remain in place for the duration of further
- 4:13Speaker 1: review in the Ninth Circuit and in this court, a
- 4:17Speaker 1: period far too long for the military to be forced
- 4:20Speaker 1: to maintain a policy that it has determined in its
- 4:24Speaker 1: professional judgment to be contrary to military readiness and the
- 4:28Speaker 1: nation's interests. That is what the US Solicitor General told
- 4:31Speaker 1: the court, urging justices to grant the stay. Trump officials
- 4:36Speaker 1: have argued that the transgender military policy furthers the government's
- 4:40Speaker 1: important interests in military readiness, unit cohesion, good order and discipline,
- 4:46Speaker 1: and avoiding disproportionate.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Costs quote unquote.
- 4:51Speaker 1: The case was obviously instantly challenged by the radical left
- 4:55Speaker 1: in federal court. Seven transgender military members brought suit again
- 5:00Speaker 1: administration in a liberal Seattle based federal court and in Washington,
- 5:05Speaker 1: d C.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Another liberal court, where.
- 5:08Speaker 1: The US District judge grilled lawyers for the Trump administration
- 5:11Speaker 1: in a dazzling line of questioning that invoked Shelters, Jesus
- 5:17Speaker 1: and Miss pac Man, among other things. I wish I
- 5:20Speaker 1: was joking, I'm not, before finally asking the government to
- 5:24Speaker 1: push its plan implementation deadline. The decision was later overturned
- 5:29Speaker 1: by the District US Circuit Court of Appeals. Again, liberals
- 5:33Speaker 1: knew what they were doing here, They knew how they
- 5:35Speaker 1: were going to fight this. They were more than happy
- 5:38Speaker 1: to fight this anyway they could, and they went to
- 5:40Speaker 1: liberal courts to do it.
- 5:42Speaker 2: You look at the Seattle case.
- 5:43Speaker 1: The planeffs there argued that the executive order must turn
- 5:47Speaker 1: away quote unquote transgender military members and kick them out
- 5:52Speaker 1: for no quote legitimate reason. Rather, it's baselessly declared all
- 5:57Speaker 1: transgender people unfit to serve, insultsen, demeans them, and cruelly
- 6:02Speaker 1: describes every one of them as incapable of an honorable, truthful,
- 6:07Speaker 1: and discipline lifestyle, even if one's personal life based solely
- 6:12Speaker 1: because they are transgendered. Their filing continued. The US District
- 6:17Speaker 1: judge there issued a preliminary injunction in March that blocked
- 6:21Speaker 1: the administration from identifying and removing transgendered service members.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Of the suit worked its way through the lower courts.
- 6:28Speaker 1: In his opinion granting the injunction, the judge characterized the
- 6:32Speaker 1: band as quote, a blanket prohibition of transgender service setto
- 6:37Speaker 1: found the plaintiffs would likely succeed on the merits of
- 6:40Speaker 1: their equal protection, their First Amendment, and the procedural due
- 6:44Speaker 1: process claims, among others. The judge said in the ruling,
- 6:48Speaker 1: the government's arguments are not persuasive and it is not
- 6:52Speaker 1: an especially closed question on this record. The judge wrote
- 6:56Speaker 1: in his order that the injunction was to quote, maintain
- 6:59Speaker 1: the status quo of the military policy regarding both active
- 7:03Speaker 1: duty and perspective transgender service that were in place prior
- 7:08Speaker 1: to Trump's January the twenty seventh executive order. The administration
- 7:12Speaker 1: quickly appealed to the Ninth Circuit, requesting the appellate court
- 7:16Speaker 1: stay the settles order of the other judge in Seattle.
- 7:20Speaker 1: The administration argued in court filings that the policy furthers
- 7:25Speaker 1: the government's important interest in military readiness, unit cohesion, good
- 7:30Speaker 1: order and discipline, and avoiding disproportionate costs. The three judge panel,
- 7:35Speaker 1: that were composed of some liberals, an Obama appointee a
- 7:40Speaker 1: Biden appointee, all denied the administration's request to stay on
- 7:45Speaker 1: March the thirty first, which was overturned now by the
- 7:48Speaker 1: Supreme Court ruling that we have just told you about.
- 7:52Speaker 1: This is obviously a very very contentious moment for the left.
- 7:59Speaker 2: They wanted to win this.
- 8:00Speaker 1: The Department of Justice has a quote vigorously defended President
- 8:04Speaker 1: Trump's executive action, including the prioritizing Military Excellent and Readiness
- 8:09Speaker 1: Executive Order, and will continue to do so, is what
- 8:12Speaker 1: a Justice Department official told Fox News. Shilling versus United
- 8:17Speaker 1: States is just one of several suits challenging the Trump
- 8:22Speaker 1: administration's military ban. It comes as Trump is used, as
- 8:25Speaker 1: early days in office to undo major biden Er radical policies,
- 8:31Speaker 1: including their effort to promote a diversity, Equity and Inclusion
- 8:36Speaker 1: or DEI agenda even in our military service, which Donald
- 8:41Speaker 1: Trump said is a problem because it's not about military readiness. Now,
- 8:47Speaker 1: if you look at all of this, and I know
- 8:49Speaker 1: it's complicated, but I wanted you to understand, this is
- 8:52Speaker 1: a massive victory for the president because what they're saying
- 8:57Speaker 1: is Number One, we believe that you are, in fact
- 9:00Speaker 1: the commander in chief. Number Two, we believe that your
- 9:03Speaker 1: executive order is important. Number three. We also believe that
- 9:07Speaker 1: military readiness is important. And it also goes back on
- 9:11Speaker 1: this radical, woke left agenda item, which is everywhere that
- 9:15Speaker 1: the Democrats could touch when it comes to diversity, equity,
- 9:18Speaker 1: and inclusion, they were willing to experiment that included in
- 9:22Speaker 1: our military. And what the argument from Trump was and
- 9:26Speaker 1: his lawyers was real simple. The military is not the
- 9:29Speaker 1: place for us to be doing woke ideological experiments.
- 9:35Speaker 2: The military is a serious place.
- 9:37Speaker 1: It is a place where you ask men and women
- 9:39Speaker 1: to risk their lives and sand side by side with others. Now,
- 9:42Speaker 1: there's also one other thing that's very interesting about this
- 9:46Speaker 1: entire conversation we're having now, military recruitment. After Donald Trump
- 9:51Speaker 1: was elected and after he appointed Pete Headset to be
- 9:54Speaker 1: in charge of the DoD This is the part that
- 9:57Speaker 1: I think is going to work to their avenge the most.
- 9:59Speaker 2: It is skyrocket.
- 10:01Speaker 1: People want to serve under two people that are not crazy,
- 10:05Speaker 1: and that is having the man in charge, the DoD
- 10:08Speaker 1: Headset in charge and the President of the United States
- 10:11Speaker 1: of America being Donald Trump. If you want to know
- 10:13Speaker 1: what the people in the military think about this, this.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Is exactly what they think.
- 10:22Speaker 1: There's also another controversy that we're finding out about in
- 10:25Speaker 1: the military, and it's one that's been uncovered by some
- 10:28Speaker 1: whistleblowers who are saying that the military, especially under the
- 10:32Speaker 1: last administration, was destroying service members' lives by accidental paperwork
- 10:39Speaker 1: that showed that people in the military had committed crimes
- 10:43Speaker 1: but had never been arrested for the crimes, had actually
- 10:46Speaker 1: never even been charged with the crimes.
- 10:48Speaker 2: It's more of a paperwork problem.
- 10:50Speaker 1: In fact, many people in the military don't even know
- 10:54Speaker 1: they have a problem until they go for employment and
- 10:57Speaker 1: then there's a background check done, and then it looks
- 11:01Speaker 1: like they have in fact been committing crimes, that they
- 11:04Speaker 1: are a felon, or that they've been arrested.
- 11:08Speaker 2: This is another problem.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Now in the last administration, there were many who were
- 11:12Speaker 1: begging them to fix the problem within the department in
- 11:17Speaker 1: the DoD to help protect so many of these soldiers
- 11:20Speaker 1: that have been wrongfully accused of crimes. They didn't even
- 11:23Speaker 1: know that they were accused of in the military, and
- 11:25Speaker 1: again they had never been arrested. What it comes down
- 11:28Speaker 1: to is a filing error, a paperwork error that is
- 11:33Speaker 1: now altering and changing their lives forever. This story I'm
- 11:38Speaker 1: about to tell you is that fight to get this changed,
- 11:42Speaker 1: and I want you to hear about it so that
- 11:44Speaker 1: others can hear about it, and that you'll share this
- 11:47Speaker 1: on social media because this is long overdue to protect
- 11:50Speaker 1: our men and women in uniform.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Take a listen.
- 11:53Speaker 4: These people were never charged, they were never arrested.
- 11:56Speaker 5: There is an easy fix, there's an easy button in
- 12:00Speaker 5: in this case, the President and or the Secretary of
- 12:03Speaker 5: Defense have the absolute authority to order all branches of
- 12:08Speaker 5: the military not to create criminal histories that are false
- 12:12Speaker 5: and to correct every single criminal history that shows someone
- 12:17Speaker 5: was arrested or received into custody when they weren't. They
- 12:21Speaker 5: can do that by their inherent military authority as part
- 12:26Speaker 5: of the national Command authority. They don't need a judge
- 12:30Speaker 5: to tell them to do it. They don't need a
- 12:32Speaker 5: court proceeding. They could solve this problem simply by picking.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Up the phone.
- 12:39Speaker 5: Our client, Denise Rosales, has served in the military for
- 12:43Speaker 5: quite a number of years. While deployed, she was investigated
- 12:48Speaker 5: for misconduct that triggered a series of events that ultimately
- 12:54Speaker 5: led to her having a criminal history with the FBI
- 12:58Speaker 5: that shows she was either arrested or received into custody,
- 13:03Speaker 5: and the reality is neither one of those things happened
- 13:07Speaker 5: for misr or Zealous. She was never arrested, she was
- 13:10Speaker 5: never taken into custody. This false criminal history has followed
- 13:15Speaker 5: her for many years now, and as we investigated more,
- 13:21Speaker 5: we came to realize that this same problem of false
- 13:26Speaker 5: criminal histories has plagued countless numbers of soldiers and veterans.
- 13:33Speaker 4: This is affecting thousands of people, thousands of service members,
- 13:37Speaker 4: thousands of veterans, many of whom don't even know that
- 13:40Speaker 4: they have an issue. A lot of these people find
- 13:43Speaker 4: out for the first time that there's some error that
- 13:47Speaker 4: leading to this criminal record when they go to apply
- 13:50Speaker 4: for a job, to go try to get a firearm,
- 13:53Speaker 4: when they have some type of employee you know, background check.
- 13:57Speaker 4: This is a systemic problem, and it really arises is
- 14:00Speaker 4: from the Army using the wrong form and transmitting erroneous information.
- 14:05Speaker 4: The Army agents are instructed to fill it out. They
- 14:08Speaker 4: fill it out as best they can, which is to
- 14:11Speaker 4: just make up information.
- 14:12Speaker 2: They put it in there.
- 14:13Speaker 4: It gets shipped off to the FBI, and there's nothing
- 14:16Speaker 4: these soldiers can do about.
- 14:19Speaker 5: I think I understand why Secretary Hegseth is so frustrated
- 14:24Speaker 5: with the senior JAG officers because they've allowed this bureaucracy
- 14:29Speaker 5: to perpetuate that only serves to harm soldiers. It makes
- 14:34Speaker 5: no sense, especially in an error where there's lots of
- 14:38Speaker 5: threats out in the world and recruiting needs to be boosted.
- 14:43Speaker 5: Why would parents send their children to the military if
- 14:48Speaker 5: they know our military is creating false criminal histories for
- 14:55Speaker 5: no apparent good reason, and they're clinging to that. They
- 14:58Speaker 5: refuse to budge from There's nothing logical about what the
- 15:02Speaker 5: government's doing. They seem hell bent on punishing soldiers who
- 15:09Speaker 5: have not done anything wrong in creating these false and
- 15:12Speaker 5: illegal criminal histories.
- 15:15Speaker 4: With the last administration, we got nowhere with them, and
- 15:19Speaker 4: so for sus the file of the lawsuits, we're optimistic
- 15:23Speaker 4: and hopeful that the new administration can step in and
- 15:26Speaker 4: really just fix this problem.
- 15:28Speaker 1: This isn't a very important story, and it's one where
- 15:32Speaker 1: the government should have fixed this long time ago. And
- 15:35Speaker 1: you can hear the people that we're talking in that
- 15:37Speaker 1: story that no one knows about because the media doesn't
- 15:41Speaker 1: actually want to stand up for these men and women
- 15:43Speaker 1: in the military who gave it. There all and so
- 15:47Speaker 1: what you just heard, I hope you will take and
- 15:50Speaker 1: you will give it and put it out to the masses,
- 15:52Speaker 1: because it's extremely important that we let people hear the
- 15:56Speaker 1: story so that this administration understands, Hey, we're paying attention
- 15:59Speaker 1: to this. This is important to us. This is something
- 16:02Speaker 1: that must change. This is important that our men and
- 16:05Speaker 1: women in military don't have to worry about this type
- 16:08Speaker 1: of stuff happening to them and that no one's going
- 16:11Speaker 1: to be there to help them out. This is again
- 16:15Speaker 1: why I love doing this show, because I try to
- 16:18Speaker 1: give you information that no one else is going to
- 16:21Speaker 1: give you, and then we have to be good stewards
- 16:24Speaker 1: of that info and fight and call our congressman and
- 16:27Speaker 1: our senators and let people know what's happening right here.
- 16:31Speaker 1: So I'll go out there and I'll say it again,
- 16:34Speaker 1: Please use this to your advantage.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Now, want to let.
- 16:37Speaker 1: You know about something else that's very exciting that this
- 16:39Speaker 1: is happening as we are doing this show in real time.
- 16:42Speaker 1: We have just been told that Ed Martin has now
- 16:46Speaker 1: gained GOP momentum as the US attorney for DC. We
- 16:51Speaker 1: have just been told that John Cornyn, a Republican from Texas,
- 16:55Speaker 1: and the Senate has given his support, and Josh Holly
- 16:59Speaker 1: is now picting there will be a vote. This was
- 17:03Speaker 1: a big story that the liberals were hoping the President
- 17:07Speaker 1: wouldn't get his way.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Donald Trump, nominated.
- 17:11Speaker 1: For the US Attorney for the District of Columbia, gained
- 17:14Speaker 1: critical momentum. Quote as Tom Tillis, Republican for North Carolina,
- 17:19Speaker 1: said he opposed the nomination. Senator John Cornyn told reporters
- 17:24Speaker 1: moments ago in the capital that he will.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Support ed Martin.
- 17:28Speaker 1: That's Trump's nominee for the critical position when or if
- 17:33Speaker 1: he comes up for a vote, quote unquote, when he
- 17:36Speaker 1: comes up for a vote, I intended support him, Corton said,
- 17:39Speaker 1: adding I tend to defer to the President on his choices. Now,
- 17:44Speaker 1: let me explain why Cornan's comments were so important. It
- 17:49Speaker 1: wasn't immediately clear if Cornyan was referring to a vote
- 17:53Speaker 1: in the Senate Judiciary Committee, of which he is a member, or.
- 17:56Speaker 2: On the floor of the Senate.
- 17:58Speaker 1: But the latter would require the form and that is
- 18:00Speaker 1: a huge aboost to Martin's nomination. Cornan's commitment to support
- 18:05Speaker 1: Martin is significant. It comes as Cordon is fending off
- 18:09Speaker 1: and according to some polls behind a primary challenger from
- 18:14Speaker 1: the Attorney General in Texas, Ken Paxton, Senator Cordon should
- 18:18Speaker 1: build upon his support signal and help add across the
- 18:21Speaker 1: finish line as a shirpup.
- 18:23Speaker 2: A source close to the confirmation.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Process has said saying, quote, Donald Trump is watching, and
- 18:28Speaker 1: if John Cornyn wants to not have to worry about
- 18:31Speaker 1: the President getting involved in this primary challenge, well then
- 18:35Speaker 1: this may be a way to do that. Surpa is
- 18:37Speaker 1: the informal term, by the way, for those assigned a
- 18:40Speaker 1: guide nominees through the Senate confirmation process. Usually someone with
- 18:44Speaker 1: personal relationships with a senator is who does it in
- 18:48Speaker 1: this scenario. Now, Martin got even more momentum when Senator
- 18:51Speaker 1: Josh Holly announced he expected Martin also to get confirmed,
- 18:55Speaker 1: saying quote, I think we are going to get a vote,
- 18:58Speaker 1: and he is going to pay. I just don't see
- 19:01Speaker 1: how he doesn't, to be honest with you, Holly told
- 19:04Speaker 1: several in a interview that he did earlier in the
- 19:07Speaker 1: day with Steve Bannon on War Room podcasts. Quote, the
- 19:10Speaker 1: President made it crystal clear publicly that Ed Martin is
- 19:14Speaker 1: his top, top priority for him because the district of
- 19:16Speaker 1: Columbia being safe is top top priority. And that's why
- 19:20Speaker 1: this matters right now more than ever. Here is Holly
- 19:23Speaker 1: in his own words.
- 19:24Speaker 6: Oh, this is why I think we are going to
- 19:26Speaker 6: get to a vote and he is going to pass.
- 19:27Speaker 6: I just don't see how he doesn't, to be honest
- 19:29Speaker 6: with you, Steve, because the President and you mentioned this
- 19:32Speaker 6: last night. The President made it crystal clear publicly that
- 19:36Speaker 6: Ed Martin is top top priority for him because the
- 19:38Speaker 6: district of Columbia being safe is top top priority. I
- 19:42Speaker 6: mean right now, you can't you know this as well
- 19:43Speaker 6: as I do. You cannot go out on the streets
- 19:45Speaker 6: in the district and not fear for your life. I've
- 19:47Speaker 6: got staffers in my office literally who've been shot. I've
- 19:50Speaker 6: got constituents. When they visit DC, they say, is it's
- 19:53Speaker 6: safe for us? And I have to tell him, honestly,
- 19:55Speaker 6: I don't know that it really is. This is our
- 19:57Speaker 6: nation's capital. It ought to be the cleanest, it ought
- 19:59Speaker 6: to be the safest.
- 20:00Speaker 2: I'd be the best.
- 20:01Speaker 6: Place to visit in our country because it represents what
- 20:03Speaker 6: our country's about. And our own citizens can't come here
- 20:06Speaker 6: without fear of their lives. It's ridiculous. We need a
- 20:09Speaker 6: US attorney. He's going to go after the crime and
- 20:11Speaker 6: clean up the city, especially in front of our two
- 20:14Speaker 6: fifty celebration next year. Ed is the right guy to
- 20:17Speaker 6: do that. He's the President's choice. And I would just
- 20:19Speaker 6: say to my fellow Republicans on the committee and listen,
- 20:20Speaker 6: I'm not saying anything to you. I haven't said to
- 20:22Speaker 6: them privately personally.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Give this guy a shot.
- 20:25Speaker 6: Meet with him, talk to him about what he's going
- 20:27Speaker 6: to do in the office, talk to the president. I
- 20:29Speaker 6: think when that happens, he is going to pass the committee.
- 20:32Speaker 2: I just don't see how he doesn't.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Senator Josh Holly in his own words there, the Trump
- 20:38Speaker 1: administration has it now say significant escalation immigration forcement targeting
- 20:44Speaker 1: sanctuary cities, Tom Homan stating that if local jurisdictions continue
- 20:50Speaker 1: to resist cooperation with federal immigration authorities, the federal government
- 20:55Speaker 1: will respond by increasing the presence of ICE agents in
- 20:59Speaker 1: these areas. Homan emphasized that sanctuary cities are quote going
- 21:04Speaker 1: to get exactly what they don't want, more agents in
- 21:08Speaker 1: their community, and Warren that ICE is prepared to double
- 21:12Speaker 1: themand force if we have to to carry out the
- 21:16Speaker 1: enforcement actions. Now, this intensified approach includes a focus on
- 21:21Speaker 1: work site enforcement. The White House says home and indicated
- 21:25Speaker 1: that if ICE agents are unable to make arrests in
- 21:28Speaker 1: jails or on the streets due to local non cooperation
- 21:32Speaker 1: with law enforcement in the court systems, then they will
- 21:35Speaker 1: increase operations at workplaces.
- 21:38Speaker 2: He stated, if we can't do it.
- 21:40Speaker 1: In the streets, we're going to increase work site enforcement
- 21:44Speaker 1: operations in those sanctuary cities, and we're going to flood
- 21:47Speaker 1: work site enforcement operations. Now, these statements have sparked quote controversy.
- 21:53Speaker 1: The media claims and immigration advocacy groups are fighting back,
- 21:58Speaker 1: arguing that such aggressive enforcement tactics could quote strain community
- 22:03Speaker 1: relations and lead to the targeting of non criminal undocumented immigrants.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Now this comes as the media also freaked out saying
- 22:13Speaker 1: that Donald Trump took all of the fun out of
- 22:16Speaker 1: Cinco de Mayo. Why because many cities canceled or downplayed
- 22:20Speaker 1: their Singo Demyo events for fear of ICE raids and deportations.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Chicago residents and the president of their local community group
- 22:30Speaker 1: said that people in the Hispanic community are quote very
- 22:34Speaker 1: scared of gathering in public, with some even considering going
- 22:38Speaker 1: back to Mexico on their own. By the way, that
- 22:40Speaker 1: is absolutely what the Trump administration is saying they want
- 22:44Speaker 1: to happen. Quote, our people are very scared. Honestly, they're
- 22:48Speaker 1: saying they don't want to go to work. They have
- 22:50Speaker 1: to go to work because they have to feed their families.
- 22:53Speaker 1: So if they both were working, now one person is working.
- 22:57Speaker 1: As to why they canceled the Singo DeMaio parade in
- 23:00Speaker 1: Chicago's Little Village, which attracts up to three hundred thousand
- 23:04Speaker 1: people annually, Escobar said that too many people are just afraid.
- 23:09Speaker 1: How about the parade, how about the festivities? And they say, well,
- 23:13Speaker 1: if we're scared to go to work, I don't think
- 23:15Speaker 1: it's nothing to celebrate. So that took us to the
- 23:18Speaker 1: decision over money. We all see this country as picking
- 23:22Speaker 1: up people with no criminal records, he claims, which is
- 23:26Speaker 1: actually not true. If you come to the United States
- 23:29Speaker 1: of America illegally, you are a criminal. Back to the statement,
- 23:33Speaker 1: and honestly, it's a horrible way we have seen in
- 23:36Speaker 1: my last forty five years I've been living here in
- 23:39Speaker 1: the US, nothing like it.
- 23:41Speaker 2: And so let's just be clear, this is.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Exactly what the president of the United States of America
- 23:46Speaker 1: wanted he wanted illegal immigrants to not feel safe staying
- 23:50Speaker 1: in the US. He wanted them to be looking over
- 23:52Speaker 1: his shoulder and is hoping that many will be deporting themselves,
- 23:57Speaker 1: whether it's Chicago or Philadelphia, many other cities.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Even in Oregon.
- 24:02Speaker 1: The Latino Fests was also canceled there as the executive
- 24:06Speaker 1: director of the Latino Community Association said there's just too
- 24:09Speaker 1: much fear among illegal immigrants or has he described them
- 24:12Speaker 1: migrants of being identified or detained simply for participating in
- 24:17Speaker 1: our cultural celebrations of Cinco de Mayo. Democrats are also
- 24:22Speaker 1: blaming Donald Trump for the quote economic impact, saying the
- 24:26Speaker 1: cancelations have had significant economic repercussions. In Chicago, the Chamber
- 24:32Speaker 1: of Commerce put out a statement estimating a loss of
- 24:35Speaker 1: approximately one point five million in direct income for the
- 24:39Speaker 1: city in between five and six million for local businesses
- 24:42Speaker 1: due to the parades cancelation on Cinco de Mayo. Now,
- 24:46Speaker 1: all of this complaining comes at a time whether a
- 24:49Speaker 1: shocking video has come out showing illegal immigrants attacking police
- 24:54Speaker 1: officers in New York. Tom Homan sitting down with Laura
- 24:58Speaker 1: Ingram on Fox talking about this attack on these police officers,
- 25:03Speaker 1: and it's planned to flood ice workforce in sanctuary cities.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Take a listen, law enforcement officer, you're much more dangerous
- 25:11Speaker 3: to an unarmed civilian.
- 25:13Speaker 7: Oh no, they'll have a knife at your throat in
- 25:14Speaker 7: two seconds. What's your message to those three illegals? I
- 25:18Speaker 7: hate the word migrant, by the way, I don't even
- 25:20Speaker 7: want to use it. They are illegal aliens, Okay, that's
- 25:22Speaker 7: what they are, The three of them who are still
- 25:26Speaker 7: on the loose. Your message to them tonight.
- 25:29Speaker 3: We're coming for them. And these are the type I'm
- 25:31Speaker 3: want to explain something. These are the type of people
- 25:33Speaker 3: the AOC rags. Why I'm educating people to their constitution
- 25:38Speaker 3: of rights. We all know what she's doing. She's educating
- 25:41Speaker 3: illegal alien criminals how to invade law enforcement. But no,
- 25:44Speaker 3: now I'm gonna do a little education myself. You don't
- 25:47Speaker 3: want to open the door, You don't want to answer
- 25:49Speaker 3: a question. You don't you want to help us with
- 25:50Speaker 3: a travel doctrine to get you removed. That's a violation
- 25:53Speaker 3: of the Title A United States Code twelve fifty three.
- 25:56Speaker 3: It is a crime, and we're going to start prosecuting
- 25:59Speaker 3: those crimes tomorrow. So if you've got a fine order
- 26:02Speaker 3: and you want to hinder your removal, you want to
- 26:04Speaker 3: put roadblocks up and not cooperate, you want to hide,
- 26:07Speaker 3: you want to not open the door, then Nation's gonna
- 26:09Speaker 3: start prosecuting you criminally. Then after you get out of
- 26:12Speaker 3: jail from that prosecution, then we'll deport you.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Game's over.
- 26:15Speaker 3: We're going to look for these public safety threats and
- 26:18Speaker 3: we're going to take them off those streets in New
- 26:20Speaker 3: York and every other Sanctuarius city, a matter of fact,
- 26:21Speaker 3: every singorious theority city. We're going to triple the workforce.
- 26:25Speaker 3: We're gonna flood the zone with officers. If we can't
- 26:28Speaker 3: wrestle in the jail, we'll wrestling in the community. If
- 26:30Speaker 3: we can arrest me in the community or arrest me
- 26:32Speaker 3: at the work site, We're going to triple work site
- 26:34Speaker 3: enforcement operations.
- 26:36Speaker 2: We're going to flood the zone.
- 26:37Speaker 3: We're going to take these public safety threats off the streets.
- 26:39Speaker 2: With your help or without your help. One thanks for sure.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Law and order is back, and the President United States
- 26:45Speaker 1: of America is encouraging all of those impositions of power
- 26:49Speaker 1: around him to do the will of the people, which
- 26:52Speaker 1: is to get rid of the legal immigrants in this country. Now,
- 26:55Speaker 1: Tom Homan wasn't done there either. There's another controversy, and
- 27:00Speaker 1: that is with AOC. AOC is doing everything she can
- 27:05Speaker 1: to help illegal immigrants stay in the US. They're even
- 27:09Speaker 1: doing seminars where they teach illegal immigrants how to exploit
- 27:13Speaker 1: the system, or fight back, or get a lawyer and
- 27:17Speaker 1: work to stay in the United States of America for
- 27:19Speaker 1: a longer period of time. Tom Homan made it very
- 27:23Speaker 1: clear that that is not what a congress person's job is.
- 27:27Speaker 1: And if you were helping criminals evade arrest, is it
- 27:31Speaker 1: against the law. Well, tom Homan was asked about that
- 27:34Speaker 1: in AOC's comments.
- 27:36Speaker 7: Take a listen now, speaking of AOC, Tom, she actually
- 27:40Speaker 7: mentioned you in a town hall last week.
- 27:43Speaker 8: Watch when we first did one of these seminars, Tom Homan,
- 27:47Speaker 8: then acting Director of ICE, said that he was going
- 27:50Speaker 8: to threaten to refer me to the DOJ because I'm
- 27:54Speaker 8: using my free speech rights in order to advise people
- 27:58Speaker 8: of their constitutionally guaranteed protections. And he may want to
- 28:02Speaker 8: do it again today.
- 28:03Speaker 2: And so that I say, come for.
- 28:05Speaker 7: Me, Tom, come for me, She said, I take pleasure.
- 28:09Speaker 3: I can live with her mind rent free every day.
- 28:11Speaker 3: But we all know exactly what she's doing. Like I
- 28:13Speaker 3: just said, she's educating the worst of the worst, how
- 28:17Speaker 3: we invade law enforcement for the tables have now turned.
- 28:20Speaker 3: She's educating people how to get prosecuted. Because you have
- 28:24Speaker 3: a final order, it is illegal to not comply with
- 28:28Speaker 3: that order. It's a crime to take steps to not
- 28:35Speaker 3: comply with ICE removal orders or not comply with ICE
- 28:37Speaker 3: actions take you in custody. You can't hinder your own
- 28:41Speaker 3: removal that was ordered by the federal judge. All like
- 28:44Speaker 3: aoc to read Title eight and I say it's called
- 28:46Speaker 3: twelve fifty three because it's starting tomorrow.
- 28:49Speaker 1: One thing is for sure, the Democratic Party is not
- 28:52Speaker 1: going to abandon illegal immigrants. In fact, they're doubling down
- 28:56Speaker 1: trying to keep them safe and to be able to
- 28:58Speaker 1: stay in this country, hope that they can give them
- 29:01Speaker 1: amnesty down the road. And what is President Trump's response
- 29:05Speaker 1: the deployment of military forces to the southern border, the
- 29:08Speaker 1: expansion of detention facilities, incentivizing voluntary departures, which we spoke
- 29:14Speaker 1: about yesterday, and the legal challenges to enforcement measures put
- 29:18Speaker 1: in by the left. There's also a fight with Mexico
- 29:23Speaker 1: and making sure that President Trump stands up to Mexico
- 29:27Speaker 1: to combat the cartels, as well as making sure that
- 29:30Speaker 1: the fetanyl is not coming across the southern border. So
- 29:33Speaker 1: at this point, Americans have decide whose side are we on.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Are you going to stand with the illegal immigrants and
- 29:39Speaker 1: the MS thirteen gang members, or are you going to
- 29:42Speaker 1: stand with the president units it's America that says he's
- 29:44Speaker 1: going to put Americans first instead of last. One thing
- 29:49Speaker 1: that is very clear is the President United States of
- 29:51Speaker 1: America has said that he's listening to the people and
- 29:56Speaker 1: stopping at nothing to go after those that are in
- 29:59Speaker 1: this country illegally. Make sure you share this podcast with
- 30:03Speaker 1: your family and friends, put it up on social media
- 30:05Speaker 1: wherever you are, and we appreciate you listening every day.
- 30:09Speaker 2: We'll see you back here tomorrow.
