- 1:58Speaker 9: Come on, you're thinking, Ah ha, I sure will. Good
- 2:04Speaker 9: morning everybody. Are you listening to the voice? Come on,
- 2:08Speaker 9: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:12Speaker 9: radio show. Okay, I got something for you today. I'm
- 2:19Speaker 9: gonna have a conversation this morning about my understanding of
- 2:23Speaker 9: grace now that I've gotten older and I've come into
- 2:27Speaker 9: a better understanding of a lot of things I didn't
- 2:30Speaker 9: know about when I was younger. This is just my
- 2:34Speaker 9: interpretation of grace. Now once again, y'all listen to me.
- 2:40Speaker 9: I ain't nobody's pastor, I ain't nobody's minister. So you know,
- 2:44Speaker 9: I'm pretty sure you can go to church and get
- 2:47Speaker 9: a far more extensive definition of one I'm giving you.
- 2:50Speaker 9: I'm just talking to people. You know, Grace is this
- 2:54Speaker 9: thing that God provides for us, and grace is just
- 3:02Speaker 9: things that you get that's really undeserving, you know. I mean,
- 3:07Speaker 9: I look at my life as it is today. You know, Look,
- 3:09Speaker 9: I work hard and I have faith in God that
- 3:12Speaker 9: I do so things are going to happen in my life.
- 3:16Speaker 9: But the way my life is now, I don't don't.
- 3:19Speaker 9: I don't deserve all of this, don't. I don't look
- 3:22Speaker 9: at it that way. I have been the beneficiary of
- 3:26Speaker 9: God's grace. I have aligned myself in a position to
- 3:31Speaker 9: accept whatever grace God has for me, and it will
- 3:35Speaker 9: be far abundant and exceedingly in anything you could think of.
- 3:41Speaker 9: His grace supersedes anything you could possibly imagine. You know,
- 3:47Speaker 9: the goals that I set and the aspirations that I
- 3:49Speaker 9: shoot for, and the things that I have on my
- 3:51Speaker 9: dream board. I have the faith that God will give
- 3:54Speaker 9: it to me. But what He does with grace, he
- 3:56Speaker 9: gives you far more than that. He gives you what
- 3:59Speaker 9: He he has for you, not what you can see.
- 4:02Speaker 9: You can't see all he has for you. It's impossible.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Who are you?
- 4:06Speaker 9: How can you possibly imagine what he can imagine? How
- 4:10Speaker 9: can you possibly think? How he can think? How can
- 4:12Speaker 9: you possibly do what he can do? How can it
- 4:15Speaker 9: be that isn't a single mind living or a collection
- 4:19Speaker 9: of minds that could have thought of Earth? What in
- 4:23Speaker 9: your wildest imagination could have made you think of Earth?
- 4:27Speaker 9: The stars, the heavens, the oceans, the galaxy, the constellations.
- 4:33Speaker 9: What in your mind? What in any man's mind? We
- 4:37Speaker 9: can point at it and analyze it, but we show
- 4:39Speaker 9: couldn't have thought of it. So come on now, I'm
- 4:43Speaker 9: talking about lining yourself up with God's grace, which he
- 4:48Speaker 9: will give.
- 4:49Speaker 2: To you if.
- 4:50Speaker 9: You want some of it now. But now, his thing
- 4:53Speaker 9: about grace, it can't be bought.
- 4:54Speaker 2: I could.
- 4:55Speaker 9: If it could be bought, I'm telling you, I would
- 4:59Speaker 9: pull all the money I have and dump it into grace, because,
- 5:04Speaker 9: after discovering what it is, it's this goodness that God
- 5:09Speaker 9: shines on you simply as a reward of some type
- 5:14Speaker 9: for his love for you and for you attempting for
- 5:18Speaker 9: you attempting.
- 5:20Speaker 2: To do right, not because you get it right. Because
- 5:23Speaker 2: if He judged us purely on.
- 5:25Speaker 9: How we are the right and wrong of it, we
- 5:27Speaker 9: would all be doomed, all of us, every last one
- 5:32Speaker 9: of us would be doomed because we all fall short,
- 5:36Speaker 9: we all make mistakes, we all sin, we all get
- 5:40Speaker 9: it wrong.
- 5:41Speaker 2: From time to time. Nobody's perfect.
- 5:44Speaker 10: Man.
- 5:45Speaker 9: Now I understand what my mother was saying about cleaning
- 5:48Speaker 9: the house. All I want is a little more grace.
- 5:51Speaker 9: All I need is a little more grace when the
- 5:54Speaker 9: last time you ask God for some grace. Now, I'm
- 5:56Speaker 9: not talking to you like I know everything. If you
- 6:00Speaker 9: just benefit from His grace what you already have. But
- 6:04Speaker 9: if you're not aware of it, you don't know what's
- 6:06Speaker 9: going on. Become aware of grace, Get aware of the
- 6:10Speaker 9: fact that God does things for you simply because He
- 6:14Speaker 9: loves you.
- 6:14Speaker 2: He does things for you that you don't even deserve.
- 6:17Speaker 9: Somehow, you just wonder how you just got over when
- 6:21Speaker 9: you didn't even do the things to get over. Sometimes
- 6:25Speaker 9: you don't even know how you got that job you
- 6:27Speaker 9: got when you ain't even really do the things to
- 6:30Speaker 9: get your job. How you end up where you are
- 6:31Speaker 9: all the education you thought you went and got, and hey,
- 6:35Speaker 9: how you end up where you are today in a
- 6:37Speaker 9: much better position than your education could have ever gotten you.
- 6:41Speaker 2: That's grace.
- 6:43Speaker 9: How I get every place I am today. I didn't
- 6:46Speaker 9: plan this, Man. If I could have planned my life
- 6:48Speaker 9: the way it is, don't you know how'd have done it?
- 6:50Speaker 9: When I was living in that car if I knew
- 6:52Speaker 9: how to do it. No, I benefited from his grace.
- 6:56Speaker 9: I'm just a beneficiary of his grace, of his goodness
- 7:01Speaker 9: and his mercy. God's goodness is better than your goodness.
- 7:05Speaker 9: God's goodness is better than your mother's goodness. It's better
- 7:09Speaker 9: than your wife's or your husband or your boo's goodness.
- 7:12Speaker 9: God's goodness is different. His goodness Man covers some stuff
- 7:17Speaker 9: you can't even imagine. So why are you trying to
- 7:21Speaker 9: put your life together when the last time you asked
- 7:24Speaker 9: him for just a little.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Bit of grace? When have you thought.
- 7:29Speaker 9: Of your life in terms of the grace that it
- 7:31Speaker 9: has already benefited from?
- 7:34Speaker 2: Have you ever done that? Man?
- 7:36Speaker 9: Just thought about you know you hear songs like my soul,
- 7:39Speaker 9: look back and wonder how I got over?
- 7:40Speaker 2: That was grace, That's all I can call it. Now.
- 7:43Speaker 9: Like I said, you can go to church or somewherever
- 7:45Speaker 9: you want to, and ministers at the window at school
- 7:48Speaker 9: to teach this thing way better than me. I'm just
- 7:51Speaker 9: giving you from a layman standpoint. Man, have you thought
- 7:54Speaker 9: about his grace? Would you not bewalled to be a
- 7:57Speaker 9: beneficiary of his grace, would it not? Now, check this out.
- 8:02Speaker 9: The better you try to do, the more grace he'll
- 8:05Speaker 9: give to you. Now that grace can't be bought, Like
- 8:08Speaker 9: I said, it's free. You can't purchase grace. But the
- 8:13Speaker 9: better you try to become the more the more grace
- 8:15Speaker 9: he gets to put your way. So man, just try.
- 8:20Speaker 9: Why don't you just try to do better? Look, man,
- 8:23Speaker 9: quit talking aunt. I'm gonna start next week. I'm gonna
- 8:25Speaker 9: start at the new year, now you not. Yeah, you
- 8:27Speaker 9: do that every year ever at the new year. I
- 8:30Speaker 9: wanna eat better at the new year. I'm or I'm
- 8:32Speaker 9: gonna go on, get in here and the new year.
- 8:34Speaker 9: If you're gonna do it, you're gonna do it now. Man,
- 8:37Speaker 9: you're gonna do it now. Stop trying do something, do it,
- 8:42Speaker 9: stop talking about it.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Do it now.
- 8:44Speaker 9: The best way to benefit from his grace is starting
- 8:47Speaker 9: action now.
- 8:49Speaker 2: N O W now right now today.
- 8:53Speaker 9: What you're waiting on, all you doing is delaying his
- 8:57Speaker 9: opportunity to bless you. You know, man, do you know
- 9:01Speaker 9: how many times we do that? We delay his opportunity
- 9:05Speaker 9: to bless us by not starting now. If you gonna
- 9:08Speaker 9: get healthy, why don't you start now now? You're gonna
- 9:11Speaker 9: trip a little bit because the holiday's coming. But you
- 9:13Speaker 9: ain't got to eat bad all the time. You could
- 9:16Speaker 9: start eating correct today you could. You could, and then
- 9:20Speaker 9: guess what that could be? Some grace on the end
- 9:22Speaker 9: of that. I'm just giving you a little cheap analogy.
- 9:25Speaker 9: But do you feel what I'm saying to you? Start
- 9:28Speaker 9: thinking in terms of grace what He has done for
- 9:31Speaker 9: you and provided for you that you ain't even see coming.
- 9:34Speaker 9: That you know, you keep calling them blessings, and I
- 9:36Speaker 9: got that. A lot of it OUs all it is.
- 9:38Speaker 9: But man, have you thought about the stuff that didn't
- 9:40Speaker 9: happened to you you can't account for. For me, that's
- 9:45Speaker 9: been grace and I'm beneficiary of it, and that's available
- 9:49Speaker 9: to everybody that won't sung. Next time you're talking to him,
- 9:52Speaker 9: just check in with grace. See what that is. That's
- 9:55Speaker 9: that's better than money.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 9: Ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the ride, y'all. This is
- 10:07Speaker 9: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. It has been this way
- 10:10Speaker 9: for over twenty years now. It is proven, tested, survived, thrived.
- 10:19Speaker 2: This is the band is riding all of radio.
- 10:24Speaker 9: Bar none can't nobody on radio do what we do.
- 10:30Speaker 9: And you can have a variation of what you call yours.
- 10:33Speaker 9: And I got no problem with none of them. But
- 10:36Speaker 9: this the band is riding in the world. Welcome to
- 10:38Speaker 9: the ride, y'all. Just thought i'd take some time to
- 10:40Speaker 9: do that. You know, I'll be back to my normal tomorrow.
- 10:43Speaker 9: Shereley s Taruberry calling for real Mississippi Monica Jr. And
- 10:46Speaker 9: the legend that is nephew Tommy Junior. What's going on
- 10:50Speaker 9: with your man?
- 10:51Speaker 11: Let's talk about this? Can you just talk about you know,
- 10:54Speaker 11: we talk about success.
- 10:55Speaker 12: What's three key steps that we missed on our journey
- 10:58Speaker 12: to get successful?
- 11:00Speaker 3: Three things that we need to have.
- 11:02Speaker 2: The number one thing I will save for last.
- 11:08Speaker 9: The number one thing, the number Here are the three
- 11:14Speaker 9: things on success you must come to terms with Number one.
- 11:18Speaker 9: Failure is a part of success. It is a part
- 11:22Speaker 9: of the process. You have got to understand that you
- 11:26Speaker 9: are about when you set out to succeed, you are
- 11:29Speaker 9: about to fail. Buckle up, it's coming. But that is
- 11:36Speaker 9: the testing part of it because when you fail, it
- 11:41Speaker 9: produces two things. Failure, first of all, is a wonderful
- 11:45Speaker 9: teacher because all those things that young people say, Man,
- 11:50Speaker 9: I just keep taking als. The main als, man, the
- 11:55Speaker 9: mails you call it, they main't losses.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Them is lessons. All my a was lessons.
- 12:01Speaker 9: So failure is a part of the process, the number
- 12:05Speaker 9: and it's and it's difficult, so you're going to fail.
- 12:08Speaker 9: So now the second part is the part that when
- 12:13Speaker 9: you do fail, what do you do? And that leads
- 12:19Speaker 9: us to the second part of success. You can never
- 12:22Speaker 9: ever give up. I don't care what happens. You just
- 12:26Speaker 9: can't do it. You cannot quit. You have to stay
- 12:30Speaker 9: with it because as you fail, you've got to understand
- 12:34Speaker 9: what it's for. It's for the lesson. So now that's
- 12:39Speaker 9: the second part. Now here is the biggest part of
- 12:42Speaker 9: success that people overlook. Gratitude's gratitude, man, it's being grateful
- 12:52Speaker 9: for not just where you are, but you have to
- 12:55Speaker 9: be grateful for what you've been through and you have
- 12:59Speaker 9: to be grateful for where you are going because it
- 13:03Speaker 9: is the what what happened to you and what's going
- 13:06Speaker 9: on now that causes people not to be grateful. Gratitude
- 13:12Speaker 9: stick touitiveness, never ever giving up, and then understand you
- 13:19Speaker 9: have to be able to address the failures period. Man
- 13:24Speaker 9: and then you can have it now. Is it hard? Yes, yes,
- 13:30Speaker 9: it's hard, but it's doable. And congratulations to all of
- 13:34Speaker 9: you that are doing.
- 13:35Speaker 1: It all right, Thank you guys. Coming up at thirty
- 13:39Speaker 1: two minutes after the hour, we will run that prank

- 15:22Speaker 2: you're gonna miss the day, wouldn't it be Monday?
- 15:24Speaker 1: You know your logic?
- 15:26Speaker 2: I love is?
- 15:28Speaker 1: There is no logic.
- 15:32Speaker 13: I'm here today. There's timmy, I'm here today. What's what's
- 15:36Speaker 13: a big deal?
- 15:39Speaker 2: Man? Get in the holiday spirit, y'all? All right here.
- 15:44Speaker 1: You take off in one of those off months like
- 15:49Speaker 1: a June or don't blame they know it's March.
- 15:56Speaker 13: All right, let's march on into it. Here we go,
- 15:58Speaker 13: No anchovies, that's right, here is no and Solby.
- 16:01Speaker 10: Let's go get yellow man?
- 16:05Speaker 14: Who?
- 16:05Speaker 10: Who? Who is the person I need to talk to about?
- 16:08Speaker 10: I got a pizza that's been messed up? Who do
- 16:10Speaker 10: I need to talk to well you can talk to me.
- 16:13Speaker 15: So what's going on? What happened in pizza?
- 16:15Speaker 10: Nobody puts some Manchoby's on my pizza? Black people. I
- 16:18Speaker 10: don't even know, no dan Choby's man. So who who
- 16:24Speaker 10: would do that? Who would put answer.
- 16:27Speaker 15: Settled down with the language that pal? All right? You know,
- 16:31Speaker 15: if you got Answerby's on your pizza, he just must
- 16:34Speaker 15: have gotten mixed up with another order. I'll send you
- 16:36Speaker 15: another pizza. It ain't a big deal.
- 16:38Speaker 10: But I ain't an Anthobi's man. Matter of fact, let

- 16:59Speaker 15: Yeah, I owned the pizza place. And these people calling

- 22:23Speaker 1: Rule slams fifty cent for producing the Diddy docuseries and
- 22:27Speaker 1: posts about fifties violent past. And in more headline news. Yesterday,
- 22:33Speaker 1: US Representative Jasmine Crockett announced her bid for texas Cot.
- 22:38Speaker 1: We'll talk about all of these stories at the top

- 22:43Speaker 1: the CLO. Ready, clo absolutely all right, here we go.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Paul Lett in Louisville writes, My husband leaves his phone
- 22:53Speaker 1: in our home office in the attic because he knows
- 22:56Speaker 1: I don't go up to the attic, so started leaving
- 23:00Speaker 1: my phone in my purse to irritate him. He accused
- 23:03Speaker 1: me of playing games. Why is he mad? Didn't he
- 23:06Speaker 1: start the games?
- 23:10Speaker 2: I mean that's crazy to me?
- 23:13Speaker 9: What that's crazy both of y'all, the husband and the wife.
- 23:19Speaker 9: I'm on leave my phone upstairs in the attic.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Yep, she won't go up there, dog, I.
- 23:32Speaker 9: Mean, why why you won't go upstairs? And what's in
- 23:41Speaker 9: his phone? What's in there dog, and all she got
- 23:46Speaker 9: to do is drop hers in her purse. Now, he
- 23:49Speaker 9: mad man, y'all's marriage is in trouble.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Let's just go and go there and just I can't
- 23:57Speaker 2: help you. I don't care where you I really don't.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Okay.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Next, Ted and Breckenridge writes, my wife has sent me
- 24:07Speaker 1: pictures of the gifts she wants for Christmas. And the
- 24:10Speaker 1: boots are ugly, and so is the bag and the
- 24:13Speaker 1: pants too. The gifts I want to buy are classier
- 24:16Speaker 1: and more expensive. Can I do my big one? Can I?
- 24:20Speaker 1: Can I do my big one and buy her the
- 24:22Speaker 1: stuff that I like?
- 24:25Speaker 9: Brother, she sent you to picture. Yep, she just sent
- 24:29Speaker 9: you to picture. Of course the picture. That's what you say.
- 24:39Speaker 9: Give your wife what she asks for in them picture
- 24:43Speaker 9: is cheap minus.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Okay, that's the one she like, Brah.
- 24:49Speaker 9: She'd have solved a problem for you. Why would you
- 24:52Speaker 9: want to create a problem. She told you what you want.
- 24:55Speaker 9: You gonna get her what you want. Now she gonna
- 24:57Speaker 9: open that up expecting what she want, and she got
- 25:00Speaker 9: what you got. Man, you stupid.
- 25:04Speaker 1: That's why what she wants.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Bruh.
- 25:07Speaker 1: It's easy, that's the advice. Yeah, but he doesn't like.
- 25:11Speaker 1: I mean what, Okay, here's the question. Then if she
- 25:14Speaker 1: wears it and he doesn't like it, then what you
- 25:17Speaker 1: can't he still can't say anything?
- 25:19Speaker 9: You know how many places she can go without you
- 25:22Speaker 9: seeing her?
- 25:25Speaker 1: Has that ever happened to you where your wife said,
- 25:28Speaker 1: have worn something that you hated?
- 25:29Speaker 2: What did you do?
- 25:30Speaker 1: You just had to deal with it?
- 25:32Speaker 2: You don't say nothing? Yeah?
- 25:35Speaker 1: How do I look? Honey? You like on you like?
- 25:38Speaker 2: That's the best thing? Nice?
- 25:43Speaker 1: I was going, Carla, have you ever worn something that
- 25:47Speaker 1: Tash didn't like? I'm sure you don't know, though he did.
- 25:51Speaker 8: Better not say anything, right, I throw my phone in him.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Put it in your person, make a mask.
- 26:00Speaker 9: But now all things we say that kind of let
- 26:02Speaker 9: you know we don't like him, Like wow, how you wow?
- 26:06Speaker 2: Wow? How did you put that together? Wow?
- 26:10Speaker 1: Tommy, didn't you have one? You said something real crazy.
- 26:16Speaker 2: I've said enough to know not to do it again.
- 26:18Speaker 1: All right, Look, well, well we'll move on to Ava
- 26:23Speaker 1: and Dorchester. Aba writes, I told my husband a little
- 26:28Speaker 1: lie about a purchase I made, and it grew into
- 26:30Speaker 1: a huge lie because I had to make excuses for
- 26:33Speaker 1: the missing money. I feel like it's time to tell
- 26:36Speaker 1: the truth because he just opened the fraud claim at
- 26:39Speaker 1: the bank. What should I tell him? Come on, Steve,
- 26:44Speaker 1: you got to get some of.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Your I don't know what kind of lie you told.
- 26:48Speaker 2: See lady, see women lie just a little a little lie.
- 26:52Speaker 9: But now she got to tell another lie because he
- 26:55Speaker 9: done opened up a fraud case at new which is
- 26:59Speaker 9: now gonna get him in trouble because it's now looking
- 27:02Speaker 9: looking like he trying to create a fraud.
- 27:04Speaker 2: That didn't happen to create.
- 27:07Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, you're about to catch you now. Yeah, yeah,
- 27:13Speaker 9: I'm about to catch your case.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Now what you gotta do? Now, Yeah, you're gonna have
- 27:21Speaker 2: to You're gonna have to go on up in here.
- 27:25Speaker 1: And what I know you're not telling him? Wifey?
- 27:29Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, yeah, yeah, this is what she
- 27:31Speaker 2: has to do.
- 27:32Speaker 9: Wait a minute, Oh that one.
- 27:38Speaker 2: You know, I thought you was talking about this one
- 27:40Speaker 2: over here? No I did that. I charged that, you
- 27:44Speaker 2: know fake?
- 27:45Speaker 9: No, I thought you was talking about and just create
- 27:47Speaker 9: something else but you.
- 27:49Speaker 2: But he got to get rid of his fraud.
- 27:51Speaker 9: Claim at the bank because he gonna go down. He
- 27:54Speaker 9: gonna get in trouble.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Should she go to the bank and clear it up
- 27:57Speaker 1: or something cause well she could say my husband made
- 28:04Speaker 1: a mistake. Yeah she because she right? Yeah, yeah, it
- 28:08Speaker 1: was a really good actress.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Uh well.
- 28:16Speaker 2: A lying she ain't gonna pull this. She ain't been
- 28:18Speaker 2: lying't gonna be.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Yeah, Now how should she do it again?
- 28:22Speaker 2: Tommy, Tommy, They all them lie.
- 28:25Speaker 9: All things that you're looking at, they all lie. They
- 28:30Speaker 9: just don't say they lie in your face.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Come on, so you go to the bank. What should
- 28:39Speaker 1: she say?
- 28:40Speaker 9: Yeah, No, she should go to the bank and say, hey, listen,
- 28:44Speaker 9: my husband filed up a bank of fraud. You know,
- 28:48Speaker 9: I just wanted to let you all know you can
- 28:51Speaker 9: dismiss that because that was a misunderstanding. That's a charge
- 28:54Speaker 9: that I did. Now, the problem gonna be is you
- 28:58Speaker 9: got to be ready. Is when the husband called to
- 29:01Speaker 9: check on the fraud case and they gonna tell him
- 29:05Speaker 9: it was cleared up. We found out that your wife
- 29:07Speaker 9: came in here with me. That's why she don't need
- 29:10Speaker 9: to go to the bank. She needed to go to
- 29:13Speaker 9: him and go Wait a minute, Charles, you was talking
- 29:18Speaker 9: about this charge.
- 29:20Speaker 1: I'm not good.
- 29:22Speaker 2: I thought you was saying you ain't gotta be convinced.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Okay, keep going with the lie. That's what she should do.
- 29:31Speaker 9: Sitting No, no, listen to me, Sureley, this is what
- 29:34Speaker 9: the woman should do. Now, you sitting been here saying
- 29:37Speaker 9: you're convinced, but you're not the man.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Oh oh okay, see.
- 29:43Speaker 2: You have to use your femininity in your life.
- 29:45Speaker 1: I got it. Yeah, this is easy for me. I've
- 29:49Speaker 1: done this a lot.
- 29:51Speaker 8: It's going there and naked.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Hey look I lied. I bought the bag. I didn't
- 29:58Speaker 2: know you want some?
- 30:02Speaker 3: I have to stop everything.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Right right?
- 30:10Speaker 13: Won't so helps it all the way out. All I
- 30:16Speaker 13: can tell you is I made a mistake.
- 30:18Speaker 2: I bought it. Now listen, do you want song?
- 30:23Speaker 10: Right?
- 30:27Speaker 1: Thank you, Celo. We'll have some entertainment news for you
- 30:30Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening hard Morning show. So have
- 30:40Speaker 1: you guys had a chance to watch the Netflix special
- 30:43Speaker 1: Sean Comb's The Reckoning? I think we all have. Wow,
- 30:51Speaker 1: this is unbelievable. Well Jane's Combs, uh Diddy's mother has
- 30:56Speaker 1: strongly denied the stories about her son, Uh about his
- 31:00Speaker 1: upbringing and other disturbing allegations made in the documentary. As
- 31:04Speaker 1: reported by Deadline, Miss Jenis Combs claimed that the quote
- 31:08Speaker 1: lies in the documentary were intentionally done to mislead viewers
- 31:12Speaker 1: and further harm our reputation. Additionally, she refused she refuted
- 31:17Speaker 1: the allegations made by Bad Boy co founder Kirk Burrow's boy,
- 31:21Speaker 1: did he get a raw deal regarding Diddy slapping her, yeah,
- 31:26Speaker 1: stating they are false. So you saw the documentary, what
- 31:31Speaker 1: was your reaction, Steve?
- 31:33Speaker 9: I think when Diddy seized this, I think he should
- 31:37Speaker 9: call the prosecutor and ask for some more time.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Wow. Look, I'm gonna just stay here fifty more. Don Man.
- 31:58Speaker 2: I was tripping my bag this, dude.
- 32:01Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, yeah, it was something.
- 32:04Speaker 8: It's all the freak off accusations, sexual assaults from producers
- 32:09Speaker 8: and stagable.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Yeah. Cassie all over again. We had to see that
- 32:17Speaker 1: the video talking over again, Tupac all over yeah, all
- 32:23Speaker 1: of all of that.
- 32:25Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 32:26Speaker 13: I didn't even know about the girl in the in
- 32:28Speaker 13: the little singing group.
- 32:29Speaker 2: I didn't even know that whole story.
- 32:31Speaker 1: Oh, Dannity Kane od Yeah, making the man all dirty
- 32:39Speaker 1: money all of that. Yeah, man, he was.
- 32:42Speaker 2: He was talking to him like they was kids. Walk
- 32:44Speaker 2: out and get me some cheese? Are you serious? But
- 32:48Speaker 2: you know that's.
- 32:50Speaker 1: Yeah, we saw them.
- 32:51Speaker 2: That was that power and control in the person. Yes, this.
- 32:58Speaker 1: And his friend that started the company with him. He
- 33:01Speaker 1: gave him twenty five percent of stock, Kirk Burrows, and
- 33:05Speaker 1: then he came in his office with a baseball bat saying,
- 33:09Speaker 1: give me back my stock. I need it. What I
- 33:13Speaker 1: believe Kirk? Yeah, And Kirk said he gave it to
- 33:16Speaker 1: him and he never got it back. And I mean,
- 33:20Speaker 1: just on and on and on. He didn't pay his people.
- 33:25Speaker 9: It explains to me, Go ahead, I'm sorry, it explains
- 33:30Speaker 9: to me. While during the trial all those weeks, the
- 33:35Speaker 9: defense could not call one single witness, not one, Not
- 33:42Speaker 9: one witness took the stand on his behalf, not one man.
- 33:48Speaker 9: Are you serious, though, dug His mama couldn't take the stand.
- 33:53Speaker 9: It couldn't take nobody took the stand in his defense.
- 33:57Speaker 9: And it becomes really evidently clear here as to why
- 34:01Speaker 9: they wouldn't, because, man, you dogged everybody.
- 34:05Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody, But the three quarters of this footage.
- 34:08Speaker 1: It's his exactly, Thomas exactly. He's above the law, no one,
- 34:19Speaker 1: no one can touch him. He's got enough money to
- 34:22Speaker 1: get him out of these situations. All of that.
- 34:25Speaker 14: You know, Yeah, I wanted Tom didn't want to shake
- 34:30Speaker 14: the face of the people. I need a bath felthy, bro, Bro,
- 34:39Speaker 14: I've been around a whole lot of black people. I
- 34:43Speaker 14: done been outside in Harlem or while I was up
- 34:46Speaker 14: there taping a apollow.
- 34:48Speaker 9: I don't been swamped. I've never said that. There ain't
- 34:51Speaker 9: nothing wrong with getting some hand sanitizer.
- 34:53Speaker 2: You got it.
- 34:56Speaker 9: I got that, I need a bath man.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Elp disturbed, very very disturbing. I mean, yeah, to hear
- 35:12Speaker 1: it from the court case is one thing, but to
- 35:14Speaker 1: actually see it and hear these people in their own
- 35:18Speaker 1: words talk about.
- 35:19Speaker 9: What you know that that's that's when you don't love
- 35:23Speaker 9: nobody but yourself. Yeah, and you've oftentimes heard me say this.
- 35:29Speaker 9: In order to achieve true manhood, you one day have
- 35:34Speaker 9: got to come to the point where you love someone
- 35:37Speaker 9: else more than you love yourself. And he doesn't have that.
- 35:44Speaker 9: He loves no one more than himself, including any of
- 35:48Speaker 9: his women, the mother of his children, never got that position.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Nothing.
- 35:53Speaker 9: He loves nobody more than he loves himself, because if
- 35:57Speaker 9: you did. First of all, man, you wouldn't willingly put
- 36:02Speaker 9: a woman in that position. Not willingly. You can, you
- 36:08Speaker 9: can unknowingly get caught cheating or something like that. But
- 36:13Speaker 9: the stuff he was doing, no.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Sir, yeah.
- 36:17Speaker 9: Secondly, as a father, to put your children in the
- 36:22Speaker 9: room with you, why are you doing the dirt? Yes,
- 36:26Speaker 9: having to make them a part of it. Come bruh, bruh,
- 36:31Speaker 9: you just this is nothing but about you. You not
- 36:35Speaker 9: trying to make them have a better way man men,
- 36:37Speaker 9: miss me.
- 36:38Speaker 1: It was very disturbing. Speaking of the Diddy docuseries, jar
- 36:42Speaker 1: Rule criticized fifty cent Now for using Diddy's docuseries to
- 36:47Speaker 1: cash in an old grudges, not help victims. Okay, jar
- 36:51Speaker 1: Rule points to fifty cents own domestic violence allegations, urging
- 36:56Speaker 1: him to donate profits from the docuseries to help victims.
- 37:00Speaker 1: That's where he is.
- 37:00Speaker 2: Yeah, that's great, Joad Rule. If I was you didn't
- 37:08Speaker 2: go job, just go? Yes? All right?
- 37:11Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty minutes after a Cinabon worker was
- 37:15Speaker 1: fired for yelling racial slurs at customers, we'll talk about
- 37:19Speaker 1: that right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:28Speaker 12: This winter, the world will be watching the best skaters

- 37:41Speaker 12: qualities that take athletes.

- 37:52Speaker 12: dot com. Because every champion starts with a first glide.
- 37:57Speaker 1: A Cinnabon worker was fired from a Wisconsin door after
- 38:00Speaker 1: a video went viral showing her shouting racial slurs, including
- 38:06Speaker 1: the N word, at two Somali customers. According to multiple
- 38:10Speaker 1: media outlets, the customer said she ordered a caramel pecan
- 38:14Speaker 1: cinnamon roll and had asked the worker to add more caramel.
- 38:19Speaker 1: She said she began recording after the worker snapped at
- 38:22Speaker 1: her and derided her or ridiculed her hijat. Cinnabon said
- 38:28Speaker 1: in its statement that the worker was quote immediately terminated,
- 38:31Speaker 1: and the company called the video and behavior disturbing and
- 38:35Speaker 1: completely unacceptable and in no way reflects the values of Cinnabon,
- 38:39Speaker 1: their franchises or the welcoming environment we expect for every
- 38:43Speaker 1: guest and team member. However, the recently fired employee tweeted,
- 38:48Speaker 1: I'm a racist and I'll say that to the whole
- 38:51Speaker 1: entire world. MAGA supporters and donors have launched an online
- 38:56Speaker 1: campaign to support the racist employee, and she is received
- 39:00Speaker 1: overget this number, though, she's received over one hundred thousand dollars.
- 39:07Speaker 1: You see, So it pays to be a racist then, huh,
- 39:10Speaker 1: as far as Maggie's concerned.
- 39:12Speaker 9: Yeah, but let me tell you how that money gonna
- 39:14Speaker 9: work for you. When you get money like that, it
- 39:18Speaker 9: go through your hands like water, and it happens in
- 39:22Speaker 9: a bad way. If you make a statement that you're
- 39:24Speaker 9: racist and that's how you are, that's fine. Now the
- 39:28Speaker 9: consequences are going to happen to you and everybody that
- 39:31Speaker 9: supports that. But that's that's the climate of the country
- 39:34Speaker 9: that we live into.
- 39:35Speaker 2: It is.
- 39:36Speaker 9: This is the climate of the United States. And a
- 39:40Speaker 9: large part of this is brought on because now they
- 39:43Speaker 9: are empowered because they feel as though that they have
- 39:48Speaker 9: an administration that okays this, that will not denounce the Klan,
- 39:54Speaker 9: not denounce the Proud Boys, not pronounced denounce the skinheads.

- 47:12Speaker 2: Let's go, cat dog.
- 47:14Speaker 10: Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach sister Alicia. All right,
- 47:22Speaker 10: all right, all right. You may not know my boy,
- 47:24Speaker 10: but I'm sure you probably know me if you saw me.
- 47:26Speaker 10: But I'm I'm brother Greg at the church. Okay, how
- 47:30Speaker 10: you doing, I'm good, I'm good. I'm sorry to disturb
- 47:33Speaker 10: your evening. I wanted to reach out to you the uh,
- 47:37Speaker 10: you know, the workers at the church. We had a meeting, uh,
- 47:42Speaker 10: A lot of the deacons and the sisters at the
- 47:46Speaker 10: church we have come to UH had a meeting and
- 47:50Speaker 10: I wanted to give you a call, not Melanie, Melanie,
- 47:56Speaker 10: that's that's that's your sister.
- 47:58Speaker 1: Right, yeah, that's my sister.
- 47:59Speaker 16: That's my baby.
- 48:01Speaker 10: Okay, all right, well now we got a bit of
- 48:05Speaker 10: a problem, but uh uh uh, they felt that it
- 48:09Speaker 10: would be best for me to call you and discuss
- 48:13Speaker 10: it with you and and let you know what the
- 48:16Speaker 10: you know what they have agreed upon. I'm just basically
- 48:19Speaker 10: the messenger and I'm just calling you to give you
- 48:21Speaker 10: the word of what's going on. Okay, brother Greg, right, yeah,
- 48:27Speaker 10: brother Greg Grig agree.
- 48:28Speaker 16: You know, uh huh your wife is in the choir, right,
- 48:32Speaker 16: uh yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, okay, I know, I think
- 48:36Speaker 16: I know.
- 48:37Speaker 10: Yeah, okay, okay, all right. Well, like I said, Sister Alicia,
- 48:43Speaker 10: what the officials of the church are saying is that
- 48:46Speaker 10: they they're saying that they have reason to believe that
- 48:51Speaker 10: your sister has been having an affair with with pastors
- 48:57Speaker 10: and uh uh, your your sister, Melanie, and they saying
- 49:03Speaker 10: she's having had an affair with having an affair with
- 49:08Speaker 10: pastor not. Like I said, I'm just a messenger.
- 49:11Speaker 16: Okay, So why are y'all calling me about something Melanie doing?
- 49:16Speaker 15: Well, have to do with me.
- 49:19Speaker 10: Like like I said, the officials had a meeting, and
- 49:22Speaker 10: what they're saying is this is nothing but a Jezebel
- 49:27Speaker 10: spirit and what they don't want.
- 49:29Speaker 16: No, wait, wait, wait a minute, you be a rude.
- 49:32Speaker 16: Now come on, okay, I'm here.
- 49:36Speaker 10: You out now you just hear me out. Now they're
- 49:39Speaker 10: saying that this is a Jezebel spirit and they would
- 49:43Speaker 10: rather all of the family not be welcome at the
- 49:50Speaker 10: church anymore.
- 49:51Speaker 16: Okay, first of all, where are you delivering a message
- 49:54Speaker 16: to me about my sister if you have a problem
- 49:57Speaker 16: with my sister. Seems like you be calling my sister.
- 50:01Speaker 16: Now we see Separd people. So why are you calling
- 50:03Speaker 16: me about my sister? About a rumor? And now you say,
- 50:09Speaker 16: y'all don't want me in the church? Is that what
- 50:12Speaker 16: you're saying?
- 50:15Speaker 10: The entire family? So if you got some brothers, sisters, auntie,
- 50:22Speaker 10: they won't because they evidently all of the ladies in
- 50:25Speaker 10: the Tompson family hell sometype of Jezebel's spirit and they
- 50:30Speaker 10: don't want.
- 50:30Speaker 16: To wait wait, wait, wait a minute, now you get
- 50:32Speaker 16: just like I said, now, be mindful who you're speaking to.
- 50:36Speaker 16: Calling somebody a Jezebel. What you can't do is call
- 50:43Speaker 16: somebody and accuse somebody and then call them a derogatory
- 50:46Speaker 16: word talking about somebody a Jezebel and a Jezebel. Now
- 50:49Speaker 16: you being ruth sir.
- 50:53Speaker 10: It's a Jezebel spirit, is what they were saying.
- 50:56Speaker 16: Okay, that's got to be the most asinine schools And
- 50:59Speaker 16: next I have ever heard in my life? Who done that?
- 51:02Speaker 16: Who are you to call me? Don't ask me?
- 51:05Speaker 10: Not like that?
- 51:07Speaker 16: You calling me?
- 51:07Speaker 10: All right?
- 51:08Speaker 15: Some bush?
- 51:08Speaker 16: But who can cast? They got a Jezabel feir? That's
- 51:12Speaker 16: got to call somebody. The kids, I'm like, you got
- 51:13Speaker 16: a bad kid? Does your mama a Jezebel?
- 51:16Speaker 10: Still, don't you wait, wait a minute, I'm just does
- 51:19Speaker 10: your mama?
- 51:20Speaker 16: Does your red Lipsit were wife's out of Jezebel's spirit.
- 51:24Speaker 15: I'm asking you.
- 51:27Speaker 16: That's what's gonna happen. You gonna mess around and get
- 51:29Speaker 16: your whoop and get drugs through the ghoul kit around
- 51:32Speaker 16: with the top.
- 51:33Speaker 10: Well thats of right now? The family can't come to
- 51:36Speaker 10: the church.
- 51:37Speaker 16: You think we want to be around a church that
- 51:39Speaker 16: got people called up asking me, I shall tell do
- 51:42Speaker 16: I have a jezabel s?
- 51:46Speaker 10: But you never answered the question.
- 51:48Speaker 16: Do you have what I might have a red hab fear?
- 51:51Speaker 16: Now you know she was a good in the Bible.
- 51:54Speaker 16: Now I've been remember the church for the last eight years.
- 51:56Speaker 16: I don't pay plenty of time to the church. And

- 56:50Speaker 1: Let up, all right, nephew, thank you. Subject he doesn't
- 56:54Speaker 1: know me in public, okay. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a
- 56:59Speaker 1: forty eight year old mom of two girls, and I
- 57:01Speaker 1: have a boyfriend that's forty five years old and recently divorced.
- 57:05Speaker 1: He's a delivery driver and a trainer at my gym.
- 57:08Speaker 1: He helped me lose weight and we ended up having sex.
- 57:11Speaker 1: After achieved my goal weight, he started casually dating. We
- 57:16Speaker 1: started casually dating. After that. We'd hook up and have
- 57:19Speaker 1: a great time when my kids were at their dad's house.
- 57:22Speaker 1: My girls eventually met him, and my fourteen year old
- 57:25Speaker 1: said that my man and I aren't a good match.
- 57:28Speaker 1: She said, he acts like he's not really into me.
- 57:31Speaker 1: I don't take advice from a child, but lately I'm
- 57:34Speaker 1: starting to think she's right. When I'm at the gym,
- 57:37Speaker 1: he will speak to me and that's it. He doesn't
- 57:40Speaker 1: help me with the weights or my form anymore. He said,
- 57:43Speaker 1: if his other clients find out we're dating, it might
- 57:47Speaker 1: ruin his business. I have seen women flirt with him
- 57:51Speaker 1: at the gym, so he's right about that. And November
- 57:54Speaker 1: he changed his training schedule so he's not at the
- 57:58Speaker 1: gym when I'm there. The only time I get to
- 58:01Speaker 1: see him is when we're chilling at his house or mine.
- 58:04Speaker 1: He's usually too tired from working two jobs to take
- 58:07Speaker 1: me out. I've been understanding, but now I have questions
- 58:11Speaker 1: because he's still acting like he does not know me
- 58:14Speaker 1: in the public. In public Friday night, I picked up
- 58:18Speaker 1: wings for my girls and he was at the bar.
- 58:20Speaker 1: We were surprised to see each other. He introduced me
- 58:23Speaker 1: to his boys as someone he trains at the gym.
- 58:27Speaker 1: My heart sank because I knew he was trying to
- 58:30Speaker 1: remain professional, so I smiled and played the part. He
- 58:33Speaker 1: didn't go to my coworker's wedding with me recently, and
- 58:36Speaker 1: he won't let me meet his son. He says we
- 58:39Speaker 1: have a bright future together. But how it's been almost
- 58:43Speaker 1: a year and all we do is Netflix and chill
- 58:46Speaker 1: at home. Should I continue to be patient with this man? Okay,
- 58:52Speaker 1: here's a question for you. Why are you asking Steve
- 58:55Speaker 1: and I for an answer to a question you already
- 58:58Speaker 1: know he's hiding you. Yes, he is because he doesn't
- 59:01Speaker 1: want anyone to know about you, okay, and the so
- 59:05Speaker 1: called relationship that you guys have. That way, he can
- 59:08Speaker 1: do whatever he wants to do. You're both single, right,
- 59:11Speaker 1: So what's the problem. Why can't he be seen with
- 59:15Speaker 1: you in public? I get that he might want to
- 59:17Speaker 1: keep a professional at work, but everywhere else. No, he
- 59:21Speaker 1: even changed his training schedules so he wouldn't have to
- 59:24Speaker 1: see you at the gym. He doesn't help you with
- 59:27Speaker 1: your weight or your form anymore, you say, And you've
- 59:30Speaker 1: been dealing with this guy for almost a year. And
- 59:32Speaker 1: almost a year, you guys have been secret. It's just wrong,
- 59:36Speaker 1: and while you don't like it, you haven't clocked him
- 59:39Speaker 1: on it at all. I mean it's time now, I think,
- 59:43Speaker 1: because you're starting to feel some kind of way about it.
- 59:46Speaker 1: You got to tell him how you feel and that
- 59:49Speaker 1: you know what he's up to, and then break up
- 59:52Speaker 1: with him. That's my suggestion to you. A man should
- 59:55Speaker 1: be proud of the woman he's with, period, and that's
- 59:58Speaker 1: not what this is. He's only acknowledging you behind closed doors.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Your fourteen year old daughter saw it. It's time for
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: you to open your own eyes and see it too.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: He doesn't get to treat you that way, not a
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: second longer.
- 1:00:12Speaker 9: Steve, Well, you're forty eight, you got two girls and
- 1:00:15Speaker 9: your boyfriend forty five. That's not a problem. Recently divorced.
- 1:00:20Speaker 9: He's a delivery driver, but he's a trainer.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: At the gym.
- 1:00:25Speaker 9: He helped me lose weight and we end up having
- 1:00:27Speaker 9: sex after I achieved my goal weight.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: So you went and got fined. He saw it. Ah, okay,
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: now let me help you do this right here. You
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: ain't the first.
- 1:00:42Speaker 9: Client he even slept with. Let's just put that out there.
- 1:00:47Speaker 9: I have no proof of that in the letter, but
- 1:00:49Speaker 9: I think I do. We'd hook up and have a
- 1:00:53Speaker 9: great time. When my kids were at their dad's house.
- 1:00:57Speaker 9: My girls eventually met him, and you're fourteen, y' all
- 1:01:00Speaker 9: said that man and I not.
- 1:01:02Speaker 11: A good match.
- 1:01:03Speaker 9: She said, he acts like he ain't really into me.
- 1:01:06Speaker 9: I don't take it vice from a child, Okay, but
- 1:01:10Speaker 9: I'm starting now. I think she right. Okay, when I'm
- 1:01:14Speaker 9: at the gym, he will speak to me, and that's it.
- 1:01:16Speaker 9: He doesn't help me with the weights anything because he
- 1:01:19Speaker 9: said he don't want the other clients to find out
- 1:01:21Speaker 9: that we're dating because that could ruin his business. Okay,
- 1:01:25Speaker 9: that's kind of a true statement. Nice little out he
- 1:01:29Speaker 9: got for you. But the rest of it though, cause
- 1:01:33Speaker 9: you say you've seen how women flirt with him at
- 1:01:34Speaker 9: the gym, and so now in November, he changed his
- 1:01:38Speaker 9: training schedule so he not at the.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: Gym when I'm there. Not Wait a minute, lady, that's
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: a lot of.
- 1:01:45Speaker 9: That's a lot of for naggling going on, because do
- 1:01:50Speaker 9: you come to the gym at set times, and now
- 1:01:53Speaker 9: he'd have made sure he not there on those particular
- 1:01:56Speaker 9: times and days.
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: Could it be? Could it be?
- 1:01:59Speaker 9: I'm just saying, because there's another woman at the gym
- 1:02:02Speaker 9: that he kicking it with that's there when you are there.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: Also, I'm just saying, could it be?
- 1:02:10Speaker 9: And then you say the only time you do get
- 1:02:12Speaker 9: to see him was when y'all chilling at the house
- 1:02:14Speaker 9: of mine.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: In other words, booty call one more time, Booty Call.
- 1:02:26Speaker 9: Bill Bellimy did a whole special on IT, movie on
- 1:02:30Speaker 9: IT everything booty Call. And he's usually too tired from
- 1:02:37Speaker 9: working two jobs to take me out. I've been understanding,
- 1:02:42Speaker 9: but now I have questions because he still acts like
- 1:02:46Speaker 9: he don't know me improbly. Now, Lady, when I come back,
- 1:02:53Speaker 9: I'm gonna tell you what Shirley has already told you,
- 1:02:55Speaker 9: which is the obvious, and now you just don't have
- 1:03:00Speaker 9: to get the rest of it, and it's not going
- 1:03:03Speaker 9: to be very promising.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: All right, Hang on, Steve, we will have part two
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: of your response coming up at twenty three minutes after
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: the hour. Today's strawberry letter, subject he doesn't know me
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: in public? Right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: If someone asks you to pay with a gift card,
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: it's a scam always. Cammers love gift cards because they're
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: just like cash. They use fake stories about prizes, overdue bills,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: or emergencies to get you to act before you think.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: But no real business, government agency, or friend will ever
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: ask for gift cards. Learn how to spot and stop
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: these scams at AAARP dot org slash gift cards paid
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: for by AAARP. All right, come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. The subject is he doesn't know me
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: in public.
- 1:03:58Speaker 9: This woman who's dating this forty five year old man
- 1:04:01Speaker 9: who's a delivery guy, but he's a trainer at the gym.
- 1:04:04Speaker 9: He met her, he trained her, she lost weight, they
- 1:04:07Speaker 9: start having sex. It done got to the point now
- 1:04:13Speaker 9: where the Tyler letter is, you don't know me in public.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: He'd have told her. If people at the gym find
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: out they dating, they could ruin his business.
- 1:04:20Speaker 9: True statement, but you say not only time y'all see
- 1:04:23Speaker 9: each other's When y'all chilling at each other's house, that's
- 1:04:27Speaker 9: because you're booty call.
- 1:04:29Speaker 10: Now.
- 1:04:29Speaker 9: You was having him over your house when your daughters
- 1:04:31Speaker 9: went to see their dad, and your fourteen year old
- 1:04:34Speaker 9: told me, y'all, don't seem like a good match because
- 1:04:36Speaker 9: he ain't really that into you, and he's not.
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: He's not really into you. He's only really into you
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: for sex.
- 1:04:46Speaker 13: That's it.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: You are the sex hook up, nothing more. And it
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: says it in the letter quite.
- 1:04:56Speaker 9: Obviously because you typed it, because you say he don't
- 1:05:02Speaker 9: act like he know you're in public. Friday night, you
- 1:05:04Speaker 9: picked up some wings for your girls. He was at
- 1:05:07Speaker 9: the bar. Y'all were surprised to see each other. He
- 1:05:10Speaker 9: introduced me to his boys as someone he trains at
- 1:05:13Speaker 9: the gym. My heart sank, But I knew he was
- 1:05:18Speaker 9: trying to remain professional, so I smiled and played the part.
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: He ain't got to act professional in front of his boys.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: Them the last people you.
- 1:05:31Speaker 9: Act professional in front of your dudes. That listen, Man,
- 1:05:35Speaker 9: when I'm with my dudes, them cats. I grew up
- 1:05:38Speaker 9: with them, cats I went to college with. That's the
- 1:05:42Speaker 9: other Steve Hardy, that's wonder lott. Y'all don't get to
- 1:05:46Speaker 9: see him. He don't come on the radio, he don't
- 1:05:50Speaker 9: make no public appearances. He is at the ranch with
- 1:05:58Speaker 9: his dudes, talking like you've never heard me talk, because
- 1:06:05Speaker 9: they're my dudes. Now, you say he was trying to
- 1:06:09Speaker 9: remain professional, so you smiled and played the part. He
- 1:06:13Speaker 9: didn't go to my coworker's wedding with me recently, and
- 1:06:17Speaker 9: he won't let me meet his son. You can't meet
- 1:06:21Speaker 9: his son. You know how many people his son. No,
- 1:06:26Speaker 9: he won't let me meet his son. That's cause you
- 1:06:33Speaker 9: not the one.
- 1:06:36Speaker 15: Now.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: He then told you that you all have a bright
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: future together.
- 1:06:40Speaker 9: But how a bright future together as long as y'all
- 1:06:43Speaker 9: chilling at one of them houses and watching Netflix. It's
- 1:06:48Speaker 9: been almost a year and all we do is Netflix
- 1:06:51Speaker 9: and Chill at home. Should I continue to be patient
- 1:06:54Speaker 9: with them? Let me explain this.
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: Problem.
- 1:06:57Speaker 9: Ain't you ain't met his son. The problem is you
- 1:07:01Speaker 9: ain't met his mama. That got your real problem. Ladies,
- 1:07:07Speaker 9: let me explain something to you. You've been with a
- 1:07:09Speaker 9: man for a year or two and he ain't and
- 1:07:11Speaker 9: he got a mama, and he ain't took you to meet.
- 1:07:15Speaker 10: You.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: Ain't the work.
- 1:07:19Speaker 9: Because we gonna take you to meet our mama, because
- 1:07:23Speaker 9: we want mama to see mama. This who I'm thinking about? Mama,
- 1:07:29Speaker 9: just the one. You ain't met the mama, the daddy,
- 1:07:35Speaker 9: the son.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: And when you met at FRIENDZ you was a client
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: at the gym.
- 1:07:40Speaker 9: Girl, girl, you so far down the line right now,
- 1:07:52Speaker 9: somebody that met the son, somebody that met the mama.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: I bet the girl that had the boy met the mama.
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: You're not it.
- 1:08:03Speaker 9: You're not the one. Have been keeping the weight off?
- 1:08:11Speaker 9: Now I know you was at the gym. Have you
- 1:08:14Speaker 9: kept the weight off our heads? He crept back up
- 1:08:17Speaker 9: on you, because that should be a problem. Nah uh uh,
- 1:08:23Speaker 9: Now she depressed. They ain't doing nothing but at the house,
- 1:08:26Speaker 9: Netflix and Chill. That's a lot of burgers and pizza,
- 1:08:30Speaker 9: so she still goes to the gym every day. She
- 1:08:32Speaker 9: was just down at the restaurant buying chicken wings.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: The girl deve it wasn't for the girls.
- 1:08:39Speaker 9: You don't buy no chicken wings or smell them wings
- 1:08:41Speaker 9: in your condo and eat a couple of girl buys.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: Hell yeah, all them.
- 1:08:48Speaker 9: Wings ain't making it to the house. I think it's
- 1:08:57Speaker 9: a problem. But now listen to me. I know he
- 1:09:02Speaker 9: told you we're gonna He says we have a bright
- 1:09:05Speaker 9: future together. That's why she's asking the questions, should I
- 1:09:10Speaker 9: continue to be patient with this?
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: Man?
- 1:09:13Speaker 4: Uh?
- 1:09:16Speaker 9: I don't think you're getting anything from the relationship, right,
- 1:09:22Speaker 9: That's what I think, So why would you stay in it?
- 1:09:28Speaker 9: But maybe you're thinking I'm not.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: Doing nothing else, So she's gonna settle.
- 1:09:39Speaker 9: That's what happens to a lot of people, because some
- 1:09:41Speaker 9: people would rather have something than nothing.
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: But the something you're hanging on to is nothing.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: Wow, all right, I'm gonna tell you.
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: One other thing. Hard to turn nothing into something? Hard? Yeah?

- 1:13:49Speaker 9: his life.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: The boy, all right, thank you you, and you thank you,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Steve all right. Coming up at the top of the or,
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: a woman on social media needs some advice. She says,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: my sister wants me to buy her kids Christmas gifts.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: We'll talk about it. Right after this, you're listening to
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, This is from
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: Regimee on Steve HARVFM. Regine says, I grew up in
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: a big family where money was always tight, so I
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: learned early on to be careful and save whatever I could.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: Now I'm in my late twenties, living on my own,
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: and after years of grinding and being frugal, I've got
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: a solid financial cushion. While with my family over Thanksgiving,
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: my sister asked about savings accounts and I stupidly showed
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: her mind, and now she wants me to help her
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: out with Christmas gifts for her kids. I love my family,
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: but I worked really hard to get where I am,
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: and I don't want to become their bank just because
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: I made better choices. I know I shouldn't have shown
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: her my savings, but what's done is done. How can
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: I delicately set some boundaries without ruining my relationship with her?
- 1:15:03Speaker 15: Wow?
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: Oh no, you gotta do is live?
- 1:15:05Speaker 10: Well?
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: You gotta come up with a lie right now?
- 1:15:07Speaker 10: Like what.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: I want to hear this?
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: What should she say?
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: Oh that was a bank robbery and oh they ain't
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: take them with my money. It ain't gonna work.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: Man.
- 1:15:24Speaker 9: I don't know where they got my account number for.
- 1:15:28Speaker 9: Should you get up the note in the tailor's face
- 1:15:30Speaker 9: and took it out of my account.
- 1:15:32Speaker 7: All of it.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: I don't think, Yeah, she's gonna buy that one? Well
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: you know, yeah, well that's your response.
- 1:15:47Speaker 9: Well see I don't think she has children and her
- 1:15:50Speaker 9: sister does. Yeah, so she said, girl, don't worry about nothing.
- 1:15:54Speaker 9: I'm gonna have some stuff over the house. And since
- 1:15:56Speaker 9: you don't know how to shop for kids, under shop.
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: One of them.
- 1:16:01Speaker 9: Two cheap toys, real cheap. Oh, some bubbles, get them
- 1:16:08Speaker 9: some bubbles. I just told you that they robbed the bank.
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: What do you want me to do? I just told
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: you that.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: Weren't you listening.
- 1:16:22Speaker 9: I don't get no money back in January. See this
- 1:16:25Speaker 9: is how you do it when you don't have kids.
- 1:16:27Speaker 9: Buy one of them the toy, and buy the other
- 1:16:30Speaker 9: one the batteries.
