- 0:24Speaker 1: Listening to to.
- 0:38Speaker 3: I don't joy, Yeah.

- 1:31Speaker 4: Again.
- 1:40Speaker 1: You have to turn the mout turn. You probably got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn the mouth turn a w the mot up.
- 1:49Speaker 5: Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Come out. You'll think that. Uh huh, I sure will
- 2:03Speaker 1: coome on to everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 6: You'll listen to the voice. Come on, dig me now,
- 2:09Speaker 6: one and only. Steve Harvey got a radio self. Steve
- 2:16Speaker 6: Harvey got a radio show. Sometimes when a chuckle like
- 2:19Speaker 6: that reminds me and my oldest brother had passed away.
- 2:21Speaker 6: He used to laugh like that. It's kind of funny
- 2:23Speaker 6: how jeans get passed down through the line. I don't
- 2:26Speaker 6: know why I told you all that, just so want
- 2:28Speaker 6: to share with you that's all. As always, always kind
- 2:32Speaker 6: of asked God to help me, you know, And and
- 2:35Speaker 6: and I had I had gotten off track a little
- 2:38Speaker 6: bit because one of the principles of success I want
- 2:43Speaker 6: to share with you all today is a.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Law of attraction. And that is a very very serious principle.
- 2:50Speaker 6: It cannot be ignored the law of attraction and I'm
- 2:55Speaker 6: not going to be able to explain it to you
- 2:58Speaker 6: as well as the book Secrets can, or as well
- 3:01Speaker 6: as some people. I can only articulate it to you
- 3:06Speaker 6: the way that I see it, And the law of
- 3:09Speaker 6: attraction is very, very real. The law of attraction is
- 3:13Speaker 6: a principle of success. It is something that everyone has
- 3:18Speaker 6: to adhere to. Now, whether you know the law of
- 3:21Speaker 6: attraction or not, it does not make it not exist
- 3:26Speaker 6: for you. This is the case where ignorance is not
- 3:31Speaker 6: the excuse. The fact that no one told it to you.
- 3:36Speaker 6: There is no pass for this one. The fact that
- 3:39Speaker 6: you never heard it before it does not allow you
- 3:44Speaker 6: to do it any other way. So let me see
- 3:47Speaker 6: if I can put it to you best I can.
- 3:50Speaker 6: The law of attraction, the law of attraction, to put
- 3:53Speaker 6: it real, simply, is the thing that you focus on,
- 3:58Speaker 6: the thing that you talk about, the thing that you
- 4:02Speaker 6: think of, is the thing that you draw to you.
- 4:06Speaker 6: It's what you attract to you. That's basically the law
- 4:10Speaker 6: of attraction. The thing that you talk about, the thing
- 4:14Speaker 6: that you think about, the thing that you focus on,
- 4:18Speaker 6: whatever it is that is what you attract. The law
- 4:24Speaker 6: of attraction does not differentiate from positive and negative.
- 4:31Speaker 1: It only does what it does. What I am saying
- 4:36Speaker 1: is this in the law of attraction.
- 4:40Speaker 6: No matter what you think of, no matter what occupies
- 4:44Speaker 6: your time, no matter what you say, or no matter
- 4:48Speaker 6: what the focus is, positive or negative, the law of
- 4:52Speaker 6: attraction knows neither one. It just attracts it. So let's
- 4:57Speaker 6: use some examples here. I can just the best example.
- 5:01Speaker 6: Always uses me that way. I ain't got to figure
- 5:04Speaker 6: out nothing. I can just tell you my side of it.
- 5:07Speaker 6: I was in a lot of debt one time in
- 5:10Speaker 6: my life. This is before any of you knew me,
- 5:15Speaker 6: so you can understand.
- 5:16Speaker 1: In case you're not.
- 5:19Speaker 6: Thinking, I don't want you to think that this conversation
- 5:21Speaker 6: is about your income level, because it's not. It doesn't
- 5:25Speaker 6: matter what income level you are. The law of attraction
- 5:27Speaker 6: works in all aspects money, family, relationships, job, career, love.
- 5:34Speaker 6: It just works that way. Okay, here's a deal. I
- 5:37Speaker 6: kept saying, Man, this debt is killing me. I got
- 5:41Speaker 6: to get out. That's what I thought was a good goal,
- 5:46Speaker 6: to get out of debt. But what I kept saying was,
- 5:50Speaker 6: you know, I kept talking about debt, and you know
- 5:53Speaker 6: what it kept doing. It kept attracting debt to me.
- 5:58Speaker 6: So guess what I could get out that's all?
- 6:03Speaker 1: Is that crazy?
- 6:05Speaker 6: That is an amazing law to understand. What turned it
- 6:09Speaker 6: around for me was I started claiming a life of abundance. God,
- 6:17Speaker 6: I am seeking a life of abundance. I want to
- 6:21Speaker 6: have more than enough.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I want to be able to help other people.
- 6:26Speaker 6: I just want to have a law of attraction so
- 6:29Speaker 6: that I be able to provide my family and lifestyle
- 6:32Speaker 6: that I want to provide them.
- 6:33Speaker 1: I want Heavenly Father to.
- 6:35Speaker 6: Be able to be an example of your goodness and
- 6:39Speaker 6: your grace in my life. That is what I started saying.
- 6:44Speaker 6: And guess what, that's what I started attracting. I'm going
- 6:48Speaker 6: to have a great relationship with my children. I'm going
- 6:51Speaker 6: to be the father that I always wanted to be.
- 6:55Speaker 6: I'm going to be a good father. I'm going to
- 6:58Speaker 6: be a good husband.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Now.
- 7:00Speaker 6: I am going to do the right things. I am
- 7:03Speaker 6: going to be the type of example that my sons
- 7:06Speaker 6: can look no further and go. I can be like
- 7:09Speaker 6: my dad. I want to be able to be a place,
- 7:12Speaker 6: a beacon of light and hope for my daughters to
- 7:14Speaker 6: come to. That's what I started saying. That's what I
- 7:18Speaker 6: started attracting to my life. The law of attraction does
- 7:24Speaker 6: not care if you want it to be positive or negative.
- 7:28Speaker 6: The law of attraction just attracts whatever it is. You
- 7:33Speaker 6: focus on, what you think about the words that come
- 7:37Speaker 6: out your mouth. You cannot overlook this principle of success
- 7:42Speaker 6: and expect to make it because of the fact that
- 7:44Speaker 6: you've never heard of the law of attraction, because of
- 7:47Speaker 6: the fact that you don't know how it really operates.
- 7:51Speaker 6: It does not make it not exist in your day.
- 7:55Speaker 6: You can start today attracting the right things to your
- 8:00Speaker 6: life by changing what you say, what you think, what
- 8:07Speaker 6: you focus on. Change the focus, change the thought, change
- 8:14Speaker 6: the words that come out your mouth, and guess what
- 8:19Speaker 6: you change what you attract to yourself. You have got
- 8:23Speaker 6: to ask yourself why is it, ma'am. Man, Let me
- 8:26Speaker 6: tell you something. Somebody said the Bishop Jakes one time.
- 8:29Speaker 6: They said, man, everything you touch turns to gold. He said, no,
- 8:35Speaker 6: I just don't touch everything.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Man, This is crazy. Come on, man, he has a focus.
- 8:44Speaker 1: He has a focus. See, he ain't just everywhere. Bring
- 8:48Speaker 1: me any idea, let me try that.
- 8:50Speaker 6: No, no, no, man, he has a focus. He has
- 8:53Speaker 6: a law of attraction that's working where he's attracting.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Things to his life. That that's positive that he can.
- 9:01Speaker 6: It's not to say Bishop Jakes don't have problems, because
- 9:04Speaker 6: we talk often and man, he have them. Oh please understand.
- 9:08Speaker 6: And he not trying to attract the problems. But what
- 9:11Speaker 6: he will attract is the proper solution for the problem.
- 9:16Speaker 6: And ain't that all you need?
- 9:17Speaker 1: Sometimes?
- 9:18Speaker 6: God did not say that it would be easy. He
- 9:22Speaker 6: just said he would be with you. And if God
- 9:25Speaker 6: is with you, who can be against you? God will
- 9:28Speaker 6: make your enemies your footstool. God is powerful man, His
- 9:32Speaker 6: word is true. He do what he say he gonna do. Now,
- 9:35Speaker 6: all we got to do is do some of what
- 9:38Speaker 6: we say, cause we ain't gonna do everything.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Just do some of what we say. Okay, here's the deal.
- 9:43Speaker 1: God is going to do everything he say he gonna do.
- 9:46Speaker 6: You and I just got to do some of the
- 9:49Speaker 6: stuff we say we're gonna do it because he already
- 9:51Speaker 6: know we ain't gonna do all of them.
- 9:52Speaker 1: He clear on that. He clear on that. All right,
- 9:56Speaker 1: thank you. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, let me have your divised attention. It's
- 10:07Speaker 1: a very very special day today. You let me tell
- 10:10Speaker 1: you what it is.
- 10:11Speaker 6: Yeah, today is today that the Lord has made. Let
- 10:17Speaker 6: us rejoice and be glad in it. Man, I don't
- 10:24Speaker 6: know about you, but I'm sure glad I'm here for it.
- 10:29Speaker 6: If it's a day he made and he woke me
- 10:33Speaker 6: up for it, I'm good with it. I don't care
- 10:36Speaker 6: how it go, as long as I'm here as a
- 10:39Speaker 6: living participant. I'm fine with it, man, And you ought
- 10:43Speaker 6: to feel the same way too. Man, What a wonderful honor, gift,
- 10:47Speaker 6: and privilege.
- 10:48Speaker 1: It is to still be here, still realizing that he
- 10:53Speaker 1: ain't through with me yet. Man, come on the forty
- 10:56Speaker 1: more of these, Lord, I'll be all right. Good to go.
- 10:59Speaker 6: Steve Harbin on to show. Shirley Strawberry calling for real
- 11:02Speaker 6: Mississippi Monica. I'm gonna change the opening because I've just
- 11:08Speaker 6: got some complaints from some certain members of the Morning
- 11:11Speaker 6: Show that they think that the opening should be like
- 11:16Speaker 6: the same. Shirley Strawberry calling for Rell, Mississippi Monica Junior
- 11:23Speaker 6: and Nephew Tommy.
- 11:26Speaker 4: What happened to the What happened to the legendary Wow?
- 11:33Speaker 4: So now we need to know who owned the show
- 11:35Speaker 4: decided to take that off. Yeah.
- 11:38Speaker 1: See that's I didn't want to say who, but you know,
- 11:41Speaker 1: because I don't want to be messy.

- 11:46Speaker 1: Maybe you can get them to volunteer. Who it is
- 11:49Speaker 1: but junior or what's on your mind today? Well they'll
- 11:54Speaker 1: not be who I think it is. It's a hard
- 11:55Speaker 1: day for everybody right now. Why why?
- 11:59Speaker 7: Who?
- 12:00Speaker 1: Who does time you think it is? I don't, I don't.
- 12:03Speaker 1: It's not me, Tommy. I didn't. I didn't. Whoa woah, whoa, whoa,
- 12:07Speaker 1: whoa wh What are you studying? What are you being
- 12:11Speaker 1: messy for? I just asked what is he stuttering for?
- 12:17Speaker 1: Because I'm shocked too. I didn't even know that changed
- 12:21Speaker 1: opening Today's care of Tommy at all. I ain't saying nobody.
- 12:25Speaker 1: I'm asking who did it? Who said? Okay, who is
- 12:29Speaker 1: this title again? Say it again? The legend that is
- 12:34Speaker 1: nephew Tommy.
- 12:35Speaker 4: Somebody took the legend off and told him that it
- 12:38Speaker 4: wasn't just one person.
- 12:40Speaker 1: It wasn't just one person.
- 12:42Speaker 6: See that's why I'm sitting up here going okay, okay, okay, okay,
- 12:48Speaker 6: that's what we're doing.
- 12:50Speaker 1: As more than one so let's go see what you
- 12:52Speaker 1: did now, because he going to do with this all
- 12:54Speaker 1: day long, you know how he is. But I repeat,
- 12:57Speaker 1: nobody heard of him. Who do you think went to
- 13:00Speaker 1: Steve about this?
- 13:02Speaker 4: There could be any one of y'all. It's really cool,
- 13:05Speaker 4: it could it could be any one of y'all.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Okay, well, you actually believe the title.

- 13:22Speaker 1: we're talking about, and you gave yourself that title now?
- 13:26Speaker 4: No?
- 13:27Speaker 7: All right, Well, but I'm sure we'll hear more about
- 13:32Speaker 7: this throughout the morning, coming up at thirty two minutes

- 22:46Speaker 7: them when he sees him. So how do I get

- 22:54Speaker 1: Well?
- 22:55Speaker 6: See you think Coogle Thundra is because he make more money.
- 23:00Speaker 6: That ain't what cougarism is. Cougarism is when an older

- 31:24Speaker 7: happened right, Well, okay.
- 31:25Speaker 6: It's one hundred and thirty thousand, just paid him one

- 33:37Speaker 1: That's what they're yeah for. Would you be a juror
- 33:41Speaker 1: in this trial? And if you were, could you be objective.
- 33:48Speaker 7: No.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Wow. If I was a juror, i'd be objective. But

- 34:37Speaker 1: But you can? But you could? Yeah?
- 34:40Speaker 10: What ya could have already convicted him? Then we wouldn't

- 56:33Speaker 1: And you're supposed to say you never know, you never know.
- 56:35Speaker 1: Buckle up and hold on time. We got it for you. Here.
- 56:37Speaker 1: It is Strawberry Letter. You never know, it could be yours.
- 56:41Speaker 1: Thank you, that too late.
- 56:44Speaker 7: Tennessee to holler is a subject he needs Hennessey to holler.
- 56:48Speaker 7: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm thirty two years old and single.
- 56:51Speaker 7: Because I will not tolerate a drunk living in my house.
- 56:55Speaker 7: My ex and I got into a big argument because
- 56:58Speaker 7: for the past two years, he's been drunk when we
- 57:01Speaker 7: are intimate and whenever I want him to be on
- 57:03Speaker 7: his best behavior. His Hennessy is like liquid confidence, and
- 57:07Speaker 7: he has been sneaking it in on me. I don't
- 57:10Speaker 7: drink like that anymore. Back when we first met, though,
- 57:13Speaker 7: I used to try to out drink him. We do
- 57:16Speaker 7: shots and then pass out in each other's arms. After
- 57:20Speaker 7: I had our baby, I never returned to that lifestyle.
- 57:24Speaker 7: During our argument last week, he told me that sex
- 57:27Speaker 7: with me is boring when he's sober. He said he
- 57:29Speaker 7: needs Hennessy to halla. He said meeting my mom was
- 57:32Speaker 7: not something he wanted to do, but Hennessy helped him.
- 57:36Speaker 7: He talked so lovingly about drinking that it made me
- 57:39Speaker 7: want to punch him. I told him that my mom
- 57:42Speaker 7: could tell he was drunk, and he said he didn't
- 57:45Speaker 7: give af okay. I warned him that if he didn't
- 57:50Speaker 7: stop drinking, I was going to move out. He turned
- 57:53Speaker 7: and poured a drink right in my face. So my
- 57:57Speaker 7: only option was to leave, whether I wanted to or not.
- 58:00Speaker 7: I've been staying with my best friend and my man
- 58:03Speaker 7: is worrying me to come back home. He wants to
- 58:05Speaker 7: talk to me, but I have told everyone that's close
- 58:07Speaker 7: to me exactly what he did to me is going
- 58:10Speaker 7: to be hard to forgive him and believe in him.
- 58:13Speaker 7: I don't know if I can stop drinking all together,
- 58:16Speaker 7: if he can stop drinking all together, but maybe he
- 58:19Speaker 7: can slow up a bit. I don't want our daughter
- 58:21Speaker 7: to have a drunk daddy all in her face. I
- 58:24Speaker 7: try to look at the bright side. I mean, he's
- 58:26Speaker 7: a happy drunk, he is never argumentative, and the sex
- 58:30Speaker 7: is top tier when he's been on that Hennessy all night.
- 58:33Speaker 7: Can I put my family back together after he played.
- 58:36Speaker 1: In my face like that? Or should I leave this
- 58:38Speaker 1: drunk for good? Okay?
- 58:41Speaker 8: I mean this is a crazy letter, you know it
- 58:45Speaker 8: really is, But it's serious too.
- 58:47Speaker 7: I mean, your man, your baby daddy is a drunk,
- 58:50Speaker 7: and you're right, he should not be drunk all in
- 58:53Speaker 7: your baby girl's face like that. Your daughter's welfare is
- 58:56Speaker 7: of the utmost importance here, period, and I'm glad that you,
- 59:01Speaker 7: someone who used to be a heavy drinker, realized that
- 59:04Speaker 7: and stop drinking yourself. You put up with his drinking
- 59:07Speaker 7: for two years, two years, I mean enough is enough here.
- 59:11Speaker 7: He won't stop until he gets out of denial and
- 59:14Speaker 7: admits that he needs help. And he's got to want
- 59:17Speaker 7: to stop doing that. And I mean, he does want
- 59:20Speaker 7: to talk to you, so but you can't make him.
- 59:25Speaker 7: I mean, having a daughter hasn't stopped him from drinking,
- 59:28Speaker 7: and he needs alcohol. He needs that heny you know,
- 59:31Speaker 7: to make love to you and all of that. You
- 59:34Speaker 7: guys have a serious problem here.
- 59:36Speaker 1: You say. The good thing about it is that he's
- 59:38Speaker 1: a happy drunk.
- 59:40Speaker 7: But he's still a drunk though, And no, you won't
- 59:43Speaker 7: be able to put your family back together with your
- 59:45Speaker 7: man who obviously cares more about his Hennessy than you
- 59:49Speaker 7: and his daughter, his family.
- 59:51Speaker 6: Steve, I like to apologize before I do my letter
- 59:55Speaker 6: response because you know, I just as I was listening
- 59:58Speaker 6: and I was writing some notes and just felt like
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: I just felt like my notes is like on points.
- 1:00:03Speaker 6: So I just you know, this is an opinion show
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: and you can't help everybody in the letter. And sometime
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: I think the people in like write the letter is
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: at fault and you just never know when he would go,
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: let's go see he needs hennessy to holler.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: I'm a thirty two.
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: Year old and I'm single because I will not tolerate
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: a drunk living in my house.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Well, they make real high standards. Lady.
- 1:00:26Speaker 6: You ain't said nothing that's special, okay, so let's just
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: get that off the dribble. I love how people go.
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: I will not tolerate a drunk living in my house.
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: Well most people won't, but then a lot of people do,
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: so thank you. My ex and I got into a
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: big argument because for the last two years he been
- 1:00:42Speaker 6: drunk when we are intimate and whenever I want him
- 1:00:44Speaker 6: to be on his best behavior. His hennessy is like
- 1:00:48Speaker 6: liquid confidence.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: We used to call it. Uh.
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: I had a partner man that used to when he
- 1:00:53Speaker 6: got drunk. He used to want to fight all the time,
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: so we should call it a glass of guts. We
- 1:00:58Speaker 6: used to call it a glass of goods because he
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: wasn't nothing. He could little fight in it. Both full
- 1:01:02Speaker 6: of bravado when he got drunk, but his fighting skills
- 1:01:05Speaker 6: was the same and he would get his ass toe
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: up anyway. So I've seen that liquid confidence. It's called
- 1:01:13Speaker 6: the glass and guts, and he's been sneaking it in
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: on me. I don't drink like that anymore. Listen to
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: this line back when we first met, though, I used
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: to try to outdrink him.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Why what you win for that?
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: Sometimes people do stupid stuff and then when the backfire,
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: they wonder how I guy like Well, y'all used to
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: have drinking context and you tried to all drink him
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: and you couldn't. We would do shots and then pass
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: out in each other's arms. You thought that was a
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: nice sexy even we would do shots and pass out in.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: Each other's arms. Oh, y'all's relationship is going the right way.
- 1:02:00Speaker 7: Girl.
- 1:02:01Speaker 6: After I had our baby, I never returned to that lifestyle.
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: That was a good choice. Doing our argument last week,
- 1:02:10Speaker 6: he told me that the sex with me was boring.
- 1:02:13Speaker 6: When he's sober, he said he needs Hennessy to holler.
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: He's okay, Wait a minute, Wait a minute. He told
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: you that having sex with you was born and he
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: needed Hennessy to holler. So he needs Hennessy for y'all
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: to make love.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, hang on, Steve, can you send me
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: a picture of yourself?
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: All right? Well, uh have part two.
- 1:02:45Speaker 7: Ste's response coming up at twenty three minutes after the
- 1:02:49Speaker 7: hour subject he needs Tennessee to holler. We'll get back
- 1:02:52Speaker 7: into it right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: You've heard us talk about the benefits of Globe Life insurance.
- 1:03:05Speaker 7: Globe Life has been protecting families for generations. Globe Life
- 1:03:09Speaker 7: is easy to buy, with rates starting as low as
- 1:03:12Speaker 7: three dollars and forty nine cents a month. There is
- 1:03:15Speaker 7: no medical exam, just a simple application called Globe Life Today.
- 1:03:19Speaker 7: Have one eight hundred two five one fifty four hundred,
- 1:03:22Speaker 7: or visit Globelife radio dot com again, that's one eight
- 1:03:26Speaker 7: hundred two five one fifty four hundred or globelifradio dot com.
- 1:03:30Speaker 7: All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:33Speaker 7: The subject is he needs hennessy to haller.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:03:38Speaker 6: They used to have drinking contest this couple. She put
- 1:03:41Speaker 6: him out because he don't drink good. He drink too
- 1:03:44Speaker 6: much and all that. She's single now she don't tolerate that.
- 1:03:47Speaker 6: When they first met, they drank each other's and try
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: he would she would try to outdrink him. It didn't work,
- 1:03:53Speaker 6: and then they pass out in each other's arms. Just
- 1:03:56Speaker 6: such a romantic relationship that's heading to AA meetings. Then
- 1:04:01Speaker 6: after that they had a baby, and she didn't return
- 1:04:04Speaker 6: to that lifestyle. That's a good choice for you as
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: mother and doing our argument. Last week, he told me
- 1:04:09Speaker 6: that sex with me is boring. When he's sober, he
- 1:04:14Speaker 6: said he needed Hennessy to holler. I asked for you
- 1:04:19Speaker 6: when I when we went on last break. Could you
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: send me a picture of yourself because that's starting to
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: sound Uh, that's starting to sound like you if you
- 1:04:29Speaker 6: need alcohol to holler at your wife.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: But what what?
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: What? What?
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: What the hell happened in here? I think that has
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: something to do with it. We might want to consider that. Uh.
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: Somebody ain't the same no more. Neither one of y'all
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: is the same number on your head in the wrong direction. Uh,
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: he said me my mom was not something he wanted
- 1:04:49Speaker 6: to do.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: Well.
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: He probably was true, but Hennessy helped him. Well, now
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: we need a picture you and your mama. Yea, I
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: need another picture. I need a picture you and your mama.
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: This dude gotta do a lot of drinking. Just sit
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: out and have a conversation with your mama. Good lord
- 1:05:08Speaker 6: of money, and then listen to this. He talked so
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: lovingly about drinking that it made me want to punch him.
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: See now, he obviously described this hitden in a way
- 1:05:21Speaker 6: that you haven't heard him describe you. I told him
- 1:05:25Speaker 6: that my mom could tell he was drunk, and he said,
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: he don't give a f my man, that hiddency now
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: see hennessy, hey, you tell the truth. I warned him
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: that if he didn't stop drinking, I was gonna move out.
- 1:05:39Speaker 6: He turned it, poured a drink right in front of
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: my face.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: Oh yo, Lee, you gonna if I drink another drink?
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: Watch that?
- 1:05:52Speaker 6: And he poured another drink. So my only option was
- 1:05:59Speaker 6: to leave, whether I wanted to or not. Where you
- 1:06:05Speaker 6: call him on this bluff and you left. All he
- 1:06:08Speaker 6: did was supposed to drink in his face. Now he
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: an alcoholic. Alcoholics love to drink, and any excuse would do.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: So you offered it. You threatened him. He took to threaten, That's.
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: All it was.
- 1:06:19Speaker 6: So my only option was to leave, whether I want to.
- 1:06:21Speaker 6: I've been staying with my best friend, and my man
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: is wearing me to come back home. He wants to
- 1:06:25Speaker 6: talk to me, but I've told everybody that's close to
- 1:06:27Speaker 6: me exactly what he did. Now it's going to be
- 1:06:31Speaker 6: hard to forgive him, and I believe and believe in him.
- 1:06:35Speaker 6: I don't know if he can stop drinking all together,
- 1:06:39Speaker 6: but maybe he can slow down a bit. Lady, that
- 1:06:42Speaker 6: are no slowed down alcoholics. When you are an alcoholic,
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: you are full tilt. Now you can be a functioning alcoholic.
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: And I think you're about to describe him as one.
- 1:06:55Speaker 6: But it ain't gonna be. No slowing down, not fit
- 1:07:00Speaker 6: to happen.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: He has to have it.
- 1:07:03Speaker 6: He's an act. He's an alcoholic. I don't want our
- 1:07:07Speaker 6: daughter to have a drunk daddy in her face. I
- 1:07:11Speaker 6: try to look at the bright side. Oh, here we go.
- 1:07:14Speaker 6: He's a happy drunk. I've known somebody like that before.
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: He's a happy drunk like he's a function in got call.
- 1:07:23Speaker 6: He'd like does well when he's drunk. He's okay, he cool,
- 1:07:26Speaker 6: He ain't belligerent, he don't he don't get nasty with
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: nobody but not.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: Check this out.
- 1:07:33Speaker 6: And the sex is top tier when he's on the
- 1:07:37Speaker 6: Hennessy all night. Now, y'all need hennessy to make love.
- 1:07:43Speaker 6: We need to focus on this right here. Why does
- 1:07:48Speaker 6: he need to get drunk to have to go and
- 1:07:51Speaker 6: face You need to ask yourself that he needed hennessy
- 1:07:58Speaker 6: to look at your mama. Comes somebody get back because
- 1:08:08Speaker 6: he needs either that here this is blurring his vision,
- 1:08:11Speaker 6: or you need to go back to wearing makeup when
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: y'all in the bedroom, or something he'd discovered requires hennessy
- 1:08:17Speaker 6: for him to get through. I'm just telling you right now,
- 1:08:20Speaker 6: can I put my family back together? After he played
- 1:08:23Speaker 6: in my face like that? So what you're saying you
- 1:08:26Speaker 6: you left him because he poured that drink right in
- 1:08:29Speaker 6: front of your face. He played in front of your face.
- 1:08:33Speaker 6: You said, if you don't stop drinking, I'm gonna leave you.
- 1:08:35Speaker 6: He turned around and poured a drink right in front
- 1:08:37Speaker 6: of your face. And now that's why you left. So
- 1:08:39Speaker 6: you didn't leave because he needed hennessy to make love.
- 1:08:43Speaker 6: You didn't leave because you don't want your baby to
- 1:08:46Speaker 6: have a drunk daddy. You didn't leave because he didn't
- 1:08:49Speaker 6: want to talk to your mama without being drunk.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: You didn't leave.
- 1:08:53Speaker 6: Because y'all used to do shots together and fall asleep
- 1:08:56Speaker 6: in each other's arms. You left because you told him,
- 1:08:59Speaker 6: if you have an other drink, I'm leaving, and he
- 1:09:01Speaker 6: pulled that drink right in front of your face. I
- 1:09:04Speaker 6: think you need to go home back over there and
- 1:09:05Speaker 6: work it out with your man. But I think you
- 1:09:07Speaker 6: got to convince your man that he needs help, because
- 1:09:10Speaker 6: until he starts to stop drinking, this is going to continue.
- 1:09:13Speaker 6: But now I know this, once he goes, once he
- 1:09:16Speaker 6: stops drinking, he's not gonna be happy and to love
- 1:09:19Speaker 6: making gonna get right on back to being bored. I'm
- 1:09:22Speaker 6: just gonna tell you that right now.
- 1:09:25Speaker 8: All right, all right, okay, all right, blig your comments
- 1:09:30Speaker 8: on today's.

- 1:14:00Speaker 7: best friends. Of course, she's an older lady, so she's
- 1:14:04Speaker 7: ashamed of what happened. I care about her and want
- 1:14:07Speaker 7: to pursue a relationship, but she said she will never
- 1:14:10Speaker 7: be able to face my aunt. Can this work or
- 1:14:13Speaker 7: should I give up?
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: Hope? That's no.
- 1:14:20Speaker 8: What is she gonna say they're both grown.

- 1:14:31Speaker 6: she doesn't really want the relationship though she know it
- 1:14:34Speaker 6: ain't going nowhere.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: She's ashamed. She don't want to be older and and
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: you younger. She know what that is. Don't make her
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: have to go through that. Do you care about her?
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: Like you say?
- 1:14:47Speaker 4: Let it go?
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: What's her name?
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: Brunhild, Rico, Rico and Brunehild.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: Wow, all right, we do have time for another one.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: This is from Angela and Tyler.
- 1:15:08Speaker 7: Angela says, I was arguing with my sister who's been
- 1:15:11Speaker 7: back and forth with drugs, and my mama walked in
- 1:15:14Speaker 7: and said, you don't have to attend every argument. You're
- 1:15:18Speaker 7: invited to. Please help me out with this one. Why
- 1:15:21Speaker 7: can't I argue with her if she starts it?
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: Didn't you say your sister been involved with drugs? Yeah,
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: back and forth with drugs. So you are you're gonna
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: argue with the junkie? O MG? You ever had augment?
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: I've had argument with a junk it.
- 1:15:43Speaker 8: See if they don't think that word junkie anymore?

- 1:16:54Speaker 1: that's into that discussion.
- 1:16:56Speaker 8: That's why the mom said, you don't have to attend

- 1:23:45Speaker 6: Like that?
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: That ain't no goods, so annoying hiccups? What about you? Nephew,
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: let's hear this hiccups or sneezing.

- 1:25:15Speaker 7: end of our show. Wow, a lot of stuff happened
- 1:25:18Speaker 7: on this show today. So here we go with just
- 1:25:22Speaker 7: one more thing and your closing remarks.
- 1:25:24Speaker 6: Well, you know, I wanted to talk to you all
- 1:25:27Speaker 6: in my closed remarks today about something that I've had
- 1:25:30Speaker 6: to learn to rely on more of late. I wish
- 1:25:35Speaker 6: I had learned this a lot earlier in my life.
- 1:25:38Speaker 6: It would have helped me such a great deal. I've
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: had to learn to trust in God's timing and I've
- 1:25:50Speaker 6: had to learn to trust in God's will. Now these
- 1:25:56Speaker 6: are tough lessons to learn. I know why I didn't
- 1:26:01Speaker 6: learn these lessons earlier because I thought that it was
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: in my best interest to work as hard as I
- 1:26:10Speaker 6: could make choices and decisions and go about the process
- 1:26:17Speaker 6: of trying to make those choices and decisions work.
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: And I did that, and a lot of people do that.
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: And you know, we set our goals and where dreams
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: up on our vision boards and we get locked in
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: on that, and that's what we started shooting for. What
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: I've learned as I've gotten older is Steve Harvey.
- 1:26:38Speaker 6: It's absolutely fine to have aspirations, dreams, and visions and goals,
- 1:26:45Speaker 6: but in your request of requiring or attaining all of
- 1:26:51Speaker 6: these things, you should also add in the request that
- 1:26:56Speaker 6: God let your will be done and give me the
- 1:27:00Speaker 6: strength and wisdom to trust in your timing.
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: But I didn't do that.
- 1:27:06Speaker 6: I thought that it was in my best interest to
- 1:27:10Speaker 6: set my goals and aspirations and then just start working
- 1:27:13Speaker 6: towards them as hard as I could. Some of those
- 1:27:17Speaker 6: things happened because some of those things were in His will.
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: But when a lot of things didn't happen for me,
- 1:27:26Speaker 6: I didn't understand that it just was in God's will
- 1:27:29Speaker 6: for me.
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: And so what I've had to learn is i've gotten older.
- 1:27:34Speaker 6: Is when I set up my vision board, when I
- 1:27:36Speaker 6: set up my dream board like I have on my
- 1:27:38Speaker 6: phone today, and I have in my note section of
- 1:27:41Speaker 6: everything I want I'm asking of God on page one
- 1:27:46Speaker 6: it says trust in His timing and trust in His will.
- 1:27:52Speaker 6: Because the older I've gotten, I've discovered something that everything
- 1:27:58Speaker 6: that I wanted and then and I wanted it to
- 1:28:01Speaker 6: work out a say, a certain way what God has
- 1:28:04Speaker 6: given me didn't work out. That way, and what he
- 1:28:10Speaker 6: gave me was far greater than what I asked. I
- 1:28:14Speaker 6: can tell you it has worked that way every single time.
- 1:28:20Speaker 6: Why I did not learn this when I was younger, Man,
- 1:28:23Speaker 6: it befuddles me. But that's what age is though, that's
- 1:28:28Speaker 6: what experience is. They say experiences is priceless. It's a shame.
- 1:28:32Speaker 6: You have to pay for it with your youth. And
- 1:28:35Speaker 6: it cost me my youth to learn that God's will
- 1:28:40Speaker 6: and God's timing is far superior than mine.
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: So now, Steve, how.
- 1:28:46Speaker 6: Do you fix that? How do you fix that? Well,
- 1:28:50Speaker 6: it's a couple of things I had to get in
- 1:28:53Speaker 6: get in line with. First of all, the will of God,
- 1:28:57Speaker 6: our Father, who art in heaven, will be thy name,
- 1:29:01Speaker 6: Thy Kingdom Come, Thy will be done on earth as
- 1:29:05Speaker 6: it is in heaven. That's important when you pray to
- 1:29:11Speaker 6: ask God that his will be done in your life.
- 1:29:15Speaker 6: I mean, who would know better how to direct your
- 1:29:18Speaker 6: life than the person who gave you life, your creator.
- 1:29:21Speaker 6: So that was the first thing I had to start
- 1:29:23Speaker 6: implementing in my prayer, to let your will be done
- 1:29:28Speaker 6: on earth as it is in heaven. And then the
- 1:29:32Speaker 6: Lord's prayer gets real specific give us this day, our
- 1:29:36Speaker 6: daily bread.
- 1:29:38Speaker 4: You know what that is?
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: You're just asking for. You need enough to get through today.
- 1:29:43Speaker 6: See, tomorrow ain't promised and you have no control over tomorrow.
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: Do you know that today is enough?
- 1:29:50Speaker 6: Do you know that if you take care of yourself today,
- 1:29:53Speaker 6: today got plenty for you to do. Today is a monster, man,
- 1:29:57Speaker 6: Today is a truckload. This is all we were built for.
- 1:30:02Speaker 6: We were built for today.
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: Now once again, does not to mean you don't have aspirations,
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: goals and hopes for tomorrow.
- 1:30:09Speaker 6: That's not what it says. The Bible says, a man
- 1:30:11Speaker 6: without a dream or visions, you'll perish. That ain't what
- 1:30:13Speaker 6: he's saying. But you got to get your focus on today.
- 1:30:18Speaker 6: Give us this day our daily bread because that's enough.
- 1:30:22Speaker 6: Tomorrow will take care of itself. And like that quote
- 1:30:25Speaker 6: I was reading to you all the other day that
- 1:30:27Speaker 6: I got and I'm gonna grab it right quick. But
- 1:30:30Speaker 6: it really really helped me man in my focus point
- 1:30:33Speaker 6: of learning how to be you know, because it's just
- 1:30:37Speaker 6: important that I learned this lesson right here. Fear does
- 1:30:40Speaker 6: not stop death, it stops life. And worrying does not
- 1:30:46Speaker 6: take away tomorrow's troubles. It takes away Today's peace.
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: Come on, man, if you focus on today, you'll have
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: a much more peaceful life.
- 1:30:56Speaker 6: Worrying about tomorrow does nothing for you. That's God's will,
- 1:31:02Speaker 6: That's God's timing.
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: Tomorrow. Yours is today.
- 1:31:05Speaker 6: Focus on today, man, trusting God's timing, Trusting God's will
- 1:31:10Speaker 6: because it's better than the plan you got. I thank
- 1:31:12Speaker 6: God that I started become more trusting in His timing
- 1:31:16Speaker 6: and his will. And stop tripping all the time on
- 1:31:18Speaker 6: what Steve Harvey want? What do God want for you? Man?
- 1:31:21Speaker 6: Have you ever asked that? That's way better than what
- 1:31:24Speaker 6: you could ever imagine? Those are my closing remarks. Don't
- 1:31:27Speaker 6: forget to pray, don't forget to pray, don't be ashamed
- 1:31:32Speaker 6: to pray, and don't ever be.
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: Too proud to play crad change prad change. Y'all have
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: a good day to do for all.
