- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a suit on the don giving
- 0:13Speaker 1: them more like the million bus things and it's y'all
- 0:19Speaker 1: to be true. Good Steve listening together for stuy, I
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't join me. You gotta use that turn. You gotta
- 1:25Speaker 1: turn to turn out, got to turn out to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: to turn the water the water go. Come come on
- 1:59Speaker 1: your baby now, uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You are listening to the voice, come on dig me now,
- 2:09Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man
- 2:14Speaker 1: o man o man I thank God for it. I
- 2:18Speaker 1: thank God for all he's done for me, for all
- 2:21Speaker 1: the little things that are oftentimes failed to thank him
- 2:26Speaker 1: for that I take for granted for you know, I was.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I was talking the other day to a buddy of mine.
- 2:35Speaker 1: We had gotten to this conversation about God and and
- 2:41Speaker 1: and in the conversation we had narrowed it down and
- 2:43Speaker 1: we were talking about changing the way we are as people.
- 2:48Speaker 1: You know that everybody has to change. You know, nothing
- 2:52Speaker 1: stays the same. Everybody changes, and a lot of these
- 2:56Speaker 1: changes can be for the good, and a lot of
- 2:59Speaker 1: them are just they just come with time. You know,
- 3:01Speaker 1: sometimes it's aging that changes us. But no matter how
- 3:05Speaker 1: old you get, you still have the ability to improve
- 3:11Speaker 1: as a person. You may not have the foot speed
- 3:15Speaker 1: you used to have. You may not be as agile
- 3:19Speaker 1: as you used to be. Your energy level may not
- 3:24Speaker 1: be what it used to be. Your desire to do
- 3:28Speaker 1: some of the things that you used to do may
- 3:30Speaker 1: be gone. The thing that doesn't have to change and
- 3:38Speaker 1: will not change is you. You have the ability to
- 3:44Speaker 1: continue to grow as a person, even when far the
- 3:50Speaker 1: time and nature has taken its course. We were talking
- 3:56Speaker 1: about everybody can change, and everybody has the right to
- 4:07Speaker 1: reinvent themselves as they get older. And I equated it
- 4:12Speaker 1: to jumping out of an airplane. You know, there are
- 4:16Speaker 1: some people man who get to a certain point in
- 4:19Speaker 1: their life and they and they jump from the airplane.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Is now almost a stunt of some kind. It's almost
- 4:28Speaker 1: like they life and got out of control. You ever
- 4:31Speaker 1: seen somebody jump out of airplane and the parachute don't open,
- 4:35Speaker 1: and they lifestart and it seems like they start spinning
- 4:38Speaker 1: and tumbling and they can't get it together. And I've
- 4:40Speaker 1: seen some mid air rescues before, but then there are
- 4:44Speaker 1: times when you know when it hasn't worked. You know,
- 4:47Speaker 1: you jump out that airplane and and and at first
- 4:50Speaker 1: it's fun. I've never skydived before, but I would imagine
- 4:55Speaker 1: when you first jump out of an airplane that they
- 4:58Speaker 1: people describe it as a sense of being free. And
- 5:03Speaker 1: it's exhilarating when you first jump out the plane. But
- 5:07Speaker 1: if you pull that cord and nothing happens. I never
- 5:11Speaker 1: happened to me, But I can only imagine the panic
- 5:15Speaker 1: that's got to set in because no matter how fun
- 5:19Speaker 1: it was a moment ago, the flying over to one another,
- 5:23Speaker 1: holding hands in the air, the breeze, the descent of
- 5:29Speaker 1: the feeling of all of a sudden, if you reach
- 5:33Speaker 1: for that cord and that's not there, you're suddenly spinning
- 5:36Speaker 1: out of control. And that's what happens in a lot
- 5:39Speaker 1: of people's lives. When you first start your life, you
- 5:43Speaker 1: jump out the plane. You're free, you're young, you ain't
- 5:45Speaker 1: got nothing to where about it. But then you get
- 5:47Speaker 1: to a certain point in your life when you go, okay,
- 5:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna pull the cord now. And pulling the cord
- 5:54Speaker 1: is an important thing because here's the analogy. My friend
- 6:00Speaker 1: gave me. He said, man, use your mind like a parachute.
- 6:06Speaker 1: It works better when it's open. Well, see what happens
- 6:11Speaker 1: with a lot of people, is they in life. They
- 6:14Speaker 1: jump out the plane and and and they and they
- 6:18Speaker 1: having this free fall and it's fun for now. But
- 6:23Speaker 1: they get to a certain point in their life where
- 6:24Speaker 1: they got themselves in a situation, or they've had a
- 6:27Speaker 1: little bit too much fun a little bit too long,
- 6:30Speaker 1: or you know, they wasn't open to nothing and they
- 6:33Speaker 1: just did what they wanted to do, or they started
- 6:36Speaker 1: getting involved with drugs or drinking, or started running with
- 6:38Speaker 1: the wrong people. So you jump out the plane. The
- 6:41Speaker 1: first you're free falling. It's fun. But then after a minute, man,
- 6:44Speaker 1: something happens and they realize whoa and they reach for
- 6:47Speaker 1: the chord, and the chord don't work. Well. Now you're
- 6:50Speaker 1: in a panic stricken situation. And my suggestion is what
- 6:53Speaker 1: I've learned from the analogy that my friends shared with me,
- 6:57Speaker 1: is that we all the sooner we can open mind
- 7:00Speaker 1: to God, the sooner we could develop that relationship with him.
- 7:06Speaker 1: It's like pulling the cord and opening a parachute. If
- 7:10Speaker 1: you open up your mind to God, God is like
- 7:14Speaker 1: a parachute. You know, God can slow your descent. God
- 7:20Speaker 1: can turn this out of control free fall into a
- 7:24Speaker 1: nice ride for you. See, that's what happened to me.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I was spinning out of control. I had gotten myself
- 7:34Speaker 1: into a point man while I wasn't doing real good. Oh,
- 7:38Speaker 1: y'all would look at me and think, man, Stevie man Nam,
- 7:43Speaker 1: I wasn't doing real good. I had spun out of control.
- 7:49Speaker 1: I was. I was in a free fall, and I
- 7:51Speaker 1: reached for the court, but I was so far away
- 7:54Speaker 1: the cord didn't open. Then I went to him and
- 7:57Speaker 1: I pulled the cord. When I went to God, I
- 8:01Speaker 1: pulled the cord and open, and he slowed my descent.
- 8:05Speaker 1: And this is what I just believe. I don't believe
- 8:08Speaker 1: now that I aged as fast as I was aging,
- 8:11Speaker 1: because I got that parachute open. Now, you know, I
- 8:14Speaker 1: take better care of myself eating, I work out more.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Now you know, I'm not out of control. I have
- 8:20Speaker 1: a direction now that when then got up under that
- 8:24Speaker 1: parachute a little bit, you know, and now I'm I'm
- 8:27Speaker 1: I'm going you know, I'm still getting older, you know, so,
- 8:31Speaker 1: but the descent is so slow. Now I'm able to
- 8:34Speaker 1: enjoy the ride. I'm guiding my parachute over. Sometimes we
- 8:38Speaker 1: go over to to a vacation spot over here, we
- 8:42Speaker 1: float back over to it. But you know, I'm still
- 8:44Speaker 1: getting old. I'm still going down, but the descent. Because
- 8:49Speaker 1: I've opened my mind to God, the parachute has slowed
- 8:53Speaker 1: my descent. And now I'm rocking back and forth. But
- 8:57Speaker 1: I ain't spending out of control no more. You know,
- 9:00Speaker 1: I'm able to enjoy the view. Now. You know, when
- 9:03Speaker 1: you jump out that plane and you and you pull
- 9:05Speaker 1: that cord and it don't work, you ain't looking at
- 9:08Speaker 1: the view no more. You're thinking of only one thing.
- 9:10Speaker 1: How can I slow this down? When now I'm able
- 9:13Speaker 1: to enjoy the view. I'm able to see all the
- 9:16Speaker 1: beautiful things on the horizon that God has for me.
- 9:20Speaker 1: I'm able to see all the beautiful things around me
- 9:22Speaker 1: that He's provided for me over these years. Because I've
- 9:26Speaker 1: slowed my descent. I used my mind like a parachute.
- 9:31Speaker 1: It works better when it's open. Open your mind to God,
- 9:36Speaker 1: and so you can see the view, so you can
- 9:38Speaker 1: slow the descent, so you can stop the out of
- 9:41Speaker 1: control freefall that you've been on. That you can get
- 9:45Speaker 1: your life together and see everything out on the horizon
- 9:48Speaker 1: that God has for you. You know, it turned out
- 9:50Speaker 1: to be a very true statement your mind. If you
- 9:53Speaker 1: use it like a parachute, it works better when it's open. Y'all,
- 9:57Speaker 1: you're listening show, ladies, gentlemen, boys and girls. It has arrived.
- 10:07Speaker 1: The new day is here. We're glad about it. We're
- 10:11Speaker 1: rejoicing in it. I'm simply overjoyed. Oh my goodness, thank
- 10:17Speaker 1: you for another day. I couldn't have done it without you,
- 10:21Speaker 1: no way. This is Steve Harvey Mortar Show with Shirley
- 10:24Speaker 1: Strawberry Callar for Real, That dog on Junior Kills Fates, Jay,
- 10:28Speaker 1: Anthony Brown, Nephew Timmy, and off in the background somewhere
- 10:32Speaker 1: little country girl, Miss super Money. Good morning, Good Monday, Mark,
- 10:40Speaker 1: It's Monday. Yea November, first new month. Mister Hall. Oh yeah,
- 10:51Speaker 1: joy yourself. Right now. She would be laying stuff away
- 10:55Speaker 1: right now. This would be to day to have six
- 10:59Speaker 1: baskets for a layaway Christmas time. I see none of
- 11:02Speaker 1: that damn stuff, But layaway was fun and joy. Bitter
- 11:14Speaker 1: boy grew up a bitter man. I know that's well
- 11:17Speaker 1: now you understand, see you see why stupid a wagon
- 11:24Speaker 1: train of stuff just but then he won't put in
- 11:26Speaker 1: the basket. Don't worry about it, Mamma gonna get it. Yeah,
- 11:30Speaker 1: I see none of that not and we understand why.
- 11:36Speaker 1: You know what, man, let me let me ask you something.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Let let me just ask you something. You know if
- 11:44Speaker 1: speaking of this holiday, see the people picking up extra jobs.
- 11:47Speaker 1: So but I was reading an article older weekend and
- 11:49Speaker 1: he told me it's a labor shortage. People don't want
- 11:52Speaker 1: to work. It's a label shortage. So now fast food
- 11:56Speaker 1: restaurants and restaurants stuff are offering people twenty five dollar
- 12:00Speaker 1: an hour, twenty five dolls. Now, if you had a
- 12:03Speaker 1: job working fast food now making twenty five out, Now,
- 12:08Speaker 1: what would be your attitude towards everybody in your family
- 12:11Speaker 1: if you made twenty five dolls just working right through?
- 12:16Speaker 1: How just give me the talk? How you talk to
- 12:18Speaker 1: people make twenty five? I was finding strong with them
- 12:20Speaker 1: back at forth at fifteen dollars hours. So I'm telling
- 12:24Speaker 1: you right now, twenty five high school ain't why? Why
- 12:31Speaker 1: why y'all While y'all knocking at my door, Mama, Dad,
- 12:38Speaker 1: ain't get away. I'm trying to have some quiet time.
- 12:42Speaker 1: In here, listen. I have my own TV. I don't
- 12:47Speaker 1: have to come in there and watch TV. No, I
- 12:51Speaker 1: don't like Walter cron crack. No, I don't Walter get
- 12:56Speaker 1: her here and watch Walter Cronkite. Yeah, I'm watching car tunes. Yeah,
- 13:04Speaker 1: I got no time to come in here. Wait a minute,
- 13:07Speaker 1: what now? I don't need to borrow your car. I
- 13:10Speaker 1: bought a bike. Steve, your flat tie and then let
- 13:17Speaker 1: it be flat. I'm gonna ride the other one. Yeah,
- 13:21Speaker 1: you got extra, Oh girl, twenty five dollars an hour.
- 13:24Speaker 1: You don't even understand when I was making minimum wage.
- 13:27Speaker 1: You don't understand. I remember minimum wage twenty was a
- 13:30Speaker 1: dollar forty five hour. I made that an hour. Take us, guys,
- 13:35Speaker 1: protect us at dollar thirty five and take you out.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Coming up with thirty two minutes after the hour of
- 13:41Speaker 1: the pastors with church complaints. Right after this, you're listening
- 13:45Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 13:49Speaker 1: it is Monday, the day after Sunday. It is time
- 13:52Speaker 1: for church complaints with Reverend Motown and Deacon death Jam.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Here we go, we girl on this path quittuous day
- 14:05Speaker 1: as we memorialize the reconciliation of the fact that church
- 14:15Speaker 1: complaints is done on a Monday. Yeah, we d be iously,
- 14:28Speaker 1: We do be iously recognize that this is the benefaction.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Stop recollection and dubiousification of complainting. It's all right, it's
- 14:50Speaker 1: all right. Let us begin with church complaints or a
- 14:57Speaker 1: Monday jail. Yes, Sah, I ain't passed the eye. We
- 15:03Speaker 1: had a problem. Brother Chambers is having a problem. Every
- 15:06Speaker 1: time he hears liquid pouring or running, he starts to
- 15:10Speaker 1: pee on himself. If he's pumping gas, he started pining.
- 15:13Speaker 1: If he turned on the water on the sink, he
- 15:16Speaker 1: starts peeing. Not what has happened is you pour a
- 15:19Speaker 1: glass of water doing the sermon I yesterday and of
- 15:22Speaker 1: course he started pin. So everybody on the pew got time. Well,
- 15:27Speaker 1: you know, so they want you to put brother Chambers
- 15:30Speaker 1: out to charry. It's up to you. Now. I'm not
- 15:33Speaker 1: going to do that because, unbeknownst too many, I have
- 15:38Speaker 1: the same problem. I played golf and this ball or
- 15:47Speaker 1: waterfall I have to go. When I play golf. If
- 15:52Speaker 1: I hit the ball in the water, the splash so
- 15:56Speaker 1: causes me to year. If I passed by the bill
- 16:00Speaker 1: average cart and the little white girl is pouring a
- 16:03Speaker 1: drake for somebody. I have to go peet. That is
- 16:07Speaker 1: why I wear the same long dog robe every Sunday.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Hell you have so leave brother Chambers alone. And when
- 16:22Speaker 1: Brother Chambers figure out how to start the somebody lett
- 16:25Speaker 1: me know. I could stop too and refuse to wear
- 16:33Speaker 1: a depend refuge. Ain't there's a lot of mack. You
- 16:40Speaker 1: had it. Now I have a McDonald's cup. Can take
- 16:44Speaker 1: to my thought the big gulp or whatever. Supicide, supicide,
- 16:56Speaker 1: All right past the hour eye. Here's another Our scooter
- 17:01Speaker 1: members are asking for a charging section. They've been running
- 17:06Speaker 1: out of power. Now we didn't know it, but Sister
- 17:08Speaker 1: George Geddrid was stuck on the side of the church
- 17:10Speaker 1: and didn't nobody know it to Sunday night. So they
- 17:13Speaker 1: asking for a charging section for the scooters. Oh we're
- 17:18Speaker 1: not gonna be able to invest in that. I've told
- 17:21Speaker 1: the people. Most of them come here and run their
- 17:23Speaker 1: battery down, shouting, riding around in the circle that the
- 17:28Speaker 1: church is not praising him. Going fast and backing up
- 17:33Speaker 1: is not praised. Dancing. Now you up in the front,
- 17:37Speaker 1: back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. You're
- 17:39Speaker 1: running your battery down the hover around it. We're not
- 17:42Speaker 1: gonna have a charger station four that is not praised dancing.
- 17:46Speaker 1: I told y'all to take all the ones in hover
- 17:49Speaker 1: around off the damn praise dance team spending in a circle,
- 17:54Speaker 1: going forward, being backing up, come halfway down the aisle.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Then you haller didn't drive off all the way around?
- 18:00Speaker 1: Two left in the hall of that. Ain't that? Ain't
- 18:03Speaker 1: what that is? Praise on your feet all right, throwing
- 18:11Speaker 1: the rows and reverse all fans and stuff. All these gigs.
- 18:14Speaker 1: You hear all them gives changing gears changing, Okay, No,
- 18:21Speaker 1: charge didn't stay. We're not gonna ahead. All right, You're
- 18:27Speaker 1: gonna have to do something with this boy. Now I
- 18:28Speaker 1: left Cadius. You know he's a computer gig. He didn't
- 18:32Speaker 1: hacked in his sister darns phade hearing aids and it's
- 18:36Speaker 1: playing little Wayne's sounds doing service. That's why she'd be cussing.
- 18:40Speaker 1: What should we do with this bar? I'm not going
- 18:45Speaker 1: to discourage that boy. That boy will turn around to
- 18:47Speaker 1: be so criminal. I like that. Get worth of hearing
- 18:54Speaker 1: aide so I can hear what or she's hearing? We
- 18:58Speaker 1: we we what? Because I've always wondered what she was saying.
- 19:03Speaker 1: We we we we all right, nothing to the must
- 19:12Speaker 1: be something to the mustard. That's why Cass keep stopped cussing.
- 19:16Speaker 1: I wonder what were loueen? Huh? Yeah, all right, Now
- 19:23Speaker 1: this is a serious situation. This is a really a policeman,
- 19:28Speaker 1: a pastor. But I don't know what you want to
- 19:29Speaker 1: do with it. I sister Jasmine robbed a bank butt
- 19:33Speaker 1: naked and got away with it because no one I
- 19:36Speaker 1: saw her face. They were all looking at you know.
- 19:39Speaker 1: But two of our members were in the bank when
- 19:41Speaker 1: she robbed it, and they want you to try to
- 19:43Speaker 1: help them get their money back. You say she was
- 19:46Speaker 1: button nicked, Deacon, She was butt naked when she robbed
- 19:50Speaker 1: the bank. Jasmin was naked, Yes, yes you are, oh God.
- 19:57Speaker 1: And no one saw her face pass ain't I know?
- 20:00Speaker 1: I know that's right. Yeah. She's been coming here for
- 20:05Speaker 1: four years and I haven't seen her face. Closing glory,
- 20:14Speaker 1: I've never seen anybody puts a whole new meaning to
- 20:19Speaker 1: the term little black dress. Lord him messing, you know,
- 20:27Speaker 1: I've never I don't have much of a criminal record anymore,
- 20:31Speaker 1: so I'm not on probation. So if she needs a
- 20:35Speaker 1: place to hide out. I'll be able to survive eating
- 20:39Speaker 1: in a bidden for sure if she in my place
- 20:45Speaker 1: to it blow over coming up next. We don't know
- 20:53Speaker 1: if that's her, it is as the cello, and we'll
- 20:58Speaker 1: do that right after this you're listening show coming up
- 21:03Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, we'll talk about ice
- 21:06Speaker 1: cube turning down. Get this Steve nine million dollars, nine
- 21:11Speaker 1: million dollars. We'll talk about that and tell you why. Also,
- 21:14Speaker 1: two Kardashians now have COVID. We'll talk about all of
- 21:17Speaker 1: these stories, but of course, first it is time for
- 21:20Speaker 1: ask the CLO Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey in the building,
- 21:24Speaker 1: ready for your love questions. Here we go with Ruthie
- 21:27Speaker 1: and Philly. Ruthie Whites. I'm married to a man that
- 21:31Speaker 1: gossips a lot, and now my twenty eight year old
- 21:33Speaker 1: daughter isn't speaking to me because of him. He told
- 21:36Speaker 1: my daughter that I don't like the man she's dating
- 21:38Speaker 1: because he's too old for her and he seems shiftless.
- 21:42Speaker 1: What I really said is that the boyfriend is a
- 21:44Speaker 1: bit older, and I wondered what was taking him so
- 21:47Speaker 1: long to graduate. I told my daughter that her dad
- 21:50Speaker 1: totally screwed up what I said? How do I get
- 21:53Speaker 1: my husband to stop this behavior? I don't know. I
- 21:58Speaker 1: don't really know. No groan ask me in that gossip.
- 22:02Speaker 1: I don't. I don't really know how you could fix that.
- 22:04Speaker 1: I don't. Seriously, I just don't have me and in
- 22:09Speaker 1: my circle who do that. I don't know how to
- 22:13Speaker 1: thank you for writing though, I ain't got nothing for you.
- 22:23Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't grown ass man that gossips.
- 22:25Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know what to do. I don't.
- 22:28Speaker 1: I don't. I don't have any experience with that. None
- 22:30Speaker 1: of my friends do that. I don't. Yeah, I don't.
- 22:34Speaker 1: I don't know what to do. Anybody got a suggestion? No,
- 22:38Speaker 1: we don't do that? Yeah, see the men? Well, I
- 22:43Speaker 1: know the men out because when you do that, I
- 22:45Speaker 1: don't know what to I don't know what that is
- 22:48Speaker 1: you gossiping? Can you talk to him and tell him? No,
- 22:53Speaker 1: I don't know nothing about that, Sherley, Sherley girl, I
- 22:55Speaker 1: don't know you heard about what all? I ain't got
- 23:00Speaker 1: no friends call out, Hey, man, did you hear about
- 23:02Speaker 1: un don't? But men do pass? I mean they do well,
- 23:08Speaker 1: I mean I would imagine they do but most of
- 23:10Speaker 1: my friends call me with factual stuff. We at this age. Now, Hey,
- 23:17Speaker 1: hey man, you know you know saw and some in
- 23:19Speaker 1: the hospital. That's it, that's it, all right, Well we're
- 23:25Speaker 1: gonna watch. Maybe you'll think I ain't got nothing thinking
- 23:29Speaker 1: about next question. Ela in Duncanville, Texas writes that I'm
- 23:34Speaker 1: in my late thirties and my husband and I had
- 23:36Speaker 1: a threesome recently and he got upset because things didn't
- 23:40Speaker 1: go his way. I happen to know the third party. Well,
- 23:42Speaker 1: and we've been together without my husband. I only brought
- 23:46Speaker 1: my husband in because we've he's been begging me too.
- 23:49Speaker 1: We're fine without him, and it's a problem for him.
- 23:52Speaker 1: He cheated on me four years ago and I forgave him.
- 23:55Speaker 1: So what's the big deal with me having a side
- 23:58Speaker 1: check to myself? Wow, well I can get involved in
- 24:03Speaker 1: this one right here. Yeah. Look, I don't know what
- 24:05Speaker 1: to tell you. You got a side chicken. He wan't
- 24:08Speaker 1: a side chick. He begged and it didn't go his
- 24:10Speaker 1: way because he ain't what he thought he was. See,
- 24:14Speaker 1: you don't want have been there and got the two
- 24:15Speaker 1: women up in there and you found out you ain't
- 24:17Speaker 1: enough for one Hey, man, let me tell you something.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Don't go in there trying to beat two women and
- 24:22Speaker 1: what that this hit thing right here, because that because
- 24:24Speaker 1: you ain't gonna win this one partner. You're not gonna
- 24:28Speaker 1: win this one right here. You can't beat them. You
- 24:30Speaker 1: can join them, but you cannot beat them at this
- 24:34Speaker 1: because you have to perform consistent le And I don't
- 24:41Speaker 1: know how to advise you that I am not good
- 24:48Speaker 1: at that failed miserably. This experience level at that was
- 24:53Speaker 1: a good, very traumatic experience. I've Yeah, Well, I'm just
- 25:01Speaker 1: saying you could try it if you want to. A
- 25:03Speaker 1: home buddy. It ain't what you think right now my life,
- 25:12Speaker 1: because I don't want nobody to ask me nothing about it.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Just take my advice. The reason he tripping is because
- 25:20Speaker 1: he ain't found out he wasn't what he thought he was,
- 25:24Speaker 1: just like I found that I wasn't point I thought
- 25:27Speaker 1: I was. And so that's it. Ain't no need to you,
- 25:31Speaker 1: ain't no need to you trying to blame nobody else.

- 25:38Speaker 1: here doing it without me. Hey, you shouldn't have took
- 25:40Speaker 1: your answer. Now, I'm just telling you right now? All right? Okay,
- 25:46Speaker 1: that's Tequila and Duncanville were moving too much for one man,
- 25:51Speaker 1: but not enough for to see the threesome. Question costs,
- 26:00Speaker 1: that's all? And what is she to you? Next question?
- 26:07Speaker 1: Go ahead? All right? Samantha in North Carolina says I
- 26:10Speaker 1: met a man online and whenever we tried to meet
- 26:12Speaker 1: in person it was a problem. After a month of
- 26:15Speaker 1: him lying, he admitted that he was in a federal
- 26:17Speaker 1: correction facility. That and that is why we never met.
- 26:21Speaker 1: I deleted my dating profile and I changed my cell
- 26:24Speaker 1: phone number. The chaplain from the prison wrote me a
- 26:27Speaker 1: letter to vouch for him, and he encouraged me to
- 26:29Speaker 1: give a guy a second chance. I like him so
- 26:32Speaker 1: much that I have been in considering doing so. So
- 26:35Speaker 1: do you think he will continue to lie if I

- 27:03Speaker 1: him to be up sitting up chatting online typing. It's
- 27:08Speaker 1: way more lies being told that I'm in a federal
- 27:11Speaker 1: prison and not a chapman. Here's here's a thing. The chaplain,
- 27:18Speaker 1: who know he ain't supposed to be doing that, then
- 27:22Speaker 1: told you to give him another chance because how he
- 27:25Speaker 1: communicating with you is illegal. What chaplain, you know gonna
- 27:31Speaker 1: co sign an illegal activity to ask you to give
- 27:35Speaker 1: him another chance? If you do all he gonna do
- 27:37Speaker 1: it go back because he keeps doing the same. Girl,
- 27:40Speaker 1: stop back going, keep talking about you like him. Find
- 27:44Speaker 1: somebody else like Yeah, So second chance, Samantha, all right.

- 28:04Speaker 1: I told my sister that her ex was staying with us,
- 28:07Speaker 1: and she said we were dead wrong for letting him
- 28:09Speaker 1: stay at our house. I tried to reason with her,
- 28:12Speaker 1: but she's mad, Am I wrong for letting him stay
- 28:15Speaker 1: with me. Or is my sister just mad because he
- 28:18Speaker 1: has a new girlfriend. Wait a minute, Wait a minute,

- 45:29Speaker 1: actually on your street. I'm the next street over, but
- 45:33Speaker 1: Louise told me that you might be willing to help
- 45:36Speaker 1: me out due to the whole uh you know, p yeah,
- 45:41Speaker 1: all right, due to the pandemic situation. The clubhouse is
- 45:46Speaker 1: actually closed, and you know, nobody's able to use the gym,
- 45:51Speaker 1: nobody's able to use the pool or anything like that
- 45:54Speaker 1: until all of this kind of passes over. But my
- 45:57Speaker 1: son's birthday was actually his birthday party is scheduled for
- 46:00Speaker 1: this coming weekend, and we now don't have a pool
- 46:04Speaker 1: to use, and we wanted to see if you didn't
- 46:06Speaker 1: mind letting us borrow your pool on Saturday U and
- 46:10Speaker 1: have my son's birthday party only a couple of hours.
- 46:12Speaker 1: You know, they were like fifteen twenty kids nude. Fifteen
- 46:15Speaker 1: to twenty kids. Are you in the United States. Do
- 46:18Speaker 1: you understand what's going on. I don't know why Louise
- 46:21Speaker 1: told you that. I'm so hard. I'm just gonna apologize
- 46:24Speaker 1: for her. I don't know why she told you anything
- 46:26Speaker 1: like that. But I'm not lending out my pool to
- 46:29Speaker 1: know fifteen to twenty kids. That we had a small
- 46:32Speaker 1: gathering the other week, but it was only three people,
- 46:36Speaker 1: and I guess she saw that and I told her that,
- 46:39Speaker 1: you know, it was a birthday party. But I don't
- 46:41Speaker 1: mean I'm lending out my pool to people. That's not
- 46:44Speaker 1: what it mean. And that was a family member and
- 46:46Speaker 1: I don't even know you, So for her to even
- 46:48Speaker 1: give you my number, it was kind of goofy, you
- 46:51Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. So okay, okay, So so wait, wait,
- 46:54Speaker 1: wait a minute, wait minute. We already knows it's that
- 46:57Speaker 1: we independem I got that. What I mean, you know
- 47:00Speaker 1: my son fro the turn tine, you know what I mean. So,
- 47:03Speaker 1: I mean, I don't want to tell my son, and
- 47:04Speaker 1: we're not gonna have a pool part I mean, I'm
- 47:06Speaker 1: just asking you for a couple hours and it ain't
- 47:08Speaker 1: but twenty kids. Yeah, but you know what I mean
- 47:10Speaker 1: to do with you or your son. Baby. I'm sorry,
- 47:14Speaker 1: like you're gonna have to find Why don't you go
- 47:15Speaker 1: to a hotel or something like that and maybe you
- 47:18Speaker 1: can like ring out their pool or something. But I'm
- 47:21Speaker 1: not letting my pool to anybody. And right now things
- 47:24Speaker 1: aren't cleared up. I don't even know if I'm allowed to.
- 47:27Speaker 1: And you talking about fifteen to twenty people in my
- 47:30Speaker 1: house and I don't I'm talking about fifteen to twenty.
- 47:33Speaker 1: And is she told me you would be you know,
- 47:35Speaker 1: you would be straight with me using the using your
- 47:37Speaker 1: barbecue grill or whatever so I could do some hot
- 47:40Speaker 1: dogs for the kids. So well, okay, well sir, I'm sorry.
- 47:43Speaker 1: I think Louise got the wrong idea. You know what
- 47:46Speaker 1: this is what this is what's wrong with black people?
- 47:48Speaker 1: Right here, this, right here, this what's wrong with black people.
- 47:51Speaker 1: Black people. It's about smart people who know that this
- 47:54Speaker 1: virus is out here killing people, killing kids and going
- 47:59Speaker 1: rambo on everybody. No, no, because my thing is you're
- 48:02Speaker 1: not gonna put my family at risk for your little son. Now,
- 48:07Speaker 1: you can go ahead, like I said, and maybe call
- 48:09Speaker 1: one of these hotels or motels. We'll see if they
- 48:11Speaker 1: can let you use their pool. You're not using my pool, sir.
- 48:14Speaker 1: And like I said, I don't know why Louise gave
- 48:16Speaker 1: you my number, but I'm sorry that you're having I
- 48:20Speaker 1: don't know why Louise gave me your number either. You're
- 48:22Speaker 1: gonna sit here in about it. Excuse me, sir. Okay,
- 48:26Speaker 1: I on this note, I'm just gonna end this call
- 48:29Speaker 1: because you're taking it too far. Okay, you have you
- 48:31Speaker 1: know what you know. What I'm gonna do. What I'm
- 48:33Speaker 1: not gonna do is deny my son. I'm just gonna
- 48:35Speaker 1: come over there I get something. I don't have nothing
- 48:38Speaker 1: to do with me. I don't. I'm just gonna don't
- 48:40Speaker 1: understand I'm coming over that throwing my pool party for
- 48:42Speaker 1: my son. Anyway, I'm not gonna not. Louise already told
- 48:45Speaker 1: me you was cool, and now you're gonna act like
- 48:47Speaker 1: you're not cool. Louise said, I'm cool because I am cool.
- 48:50Speaker 1: Boo boo, but I'm not cool with you. I don't
- 48:54Speaker 1: know you. Okay, So if I told you I'm Kendrick
- 48:57Speaker 1: from one Street over, I told you I was don't
- 49:01Speaker 1: give a flying who you are. It doesn't matter. I
- 49:05Speaker 1: don't know you well enough to let you use my pool.
- 49:08Speaker 1: You're not using my pool. And that's the bottom line.
- 49:11Speaker 1: My son, my son justin don't turn ten but one
- 49:14Speaker 1: damn time. We all just turned ten one time. What
- 49:17Speaker 1: are you talking about? Nothing? To not have no pool
- 49:21Speaker 1: party for my far so bad? So how about you
- 49:23Speaker 1: try to white people and see if they let you
- 49:24Speaker 1: use that pool. It's other people around here. You got
- 49:27Speaker 1: John across the street from me. Ask him, see if
- 49:30Speaker 1: that white gonna let you use this pool. You come
- 49:32Speaker 1: to me talk about this white black people can't do
- 49:35Speaker 1: and all this kind of stuff ain't about being black,
- 49:38Speaker 1: It's about being safe. You're not coming in here. I
- 49:40Speaker 1: don't know what kind of anybody's you got. I don't
- 49:42Speaker 1: know if you had COVID. You ain't even saying no
- 49:44Speaker 1: like that. You don't even tell me whether all y'all
- 49:46Speaker 1: been tested, all the kids have been tested? Can you
- 49:49Speaker 1: tell me? Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, listen, listen. This
- 49:53Speaker 1: is what I'm gonna tell you. I'm near Saturday at noon,
- 49:56Speaker 1: waiting on the twenty kids have come, gonna be for
- 49:59Speaker 1: two hours on there. Good luck. Yeah, guess what. I'm
- 50:02Speaker 1: a clack clack reach you back. You come to my
- 50:05Speaker 1: house pulling up with some kids. You're going to catch
- 50:08Speaker 1: a bad one and I will have the police here. Way.
- 50:11Speaker 1: What time is the party, baby, because I will have
- 50:13Speaker 1: police here. Way you know I'm coming in my yard.
- 50:16Speaker 1: You got people out here getting killed for them less
- 50:19Speaker 1: than that. Look, you know what, I don't even want.
- 50:22Speaker 1: I don't want to argue with you. Just give me
- 50:23Speaker 1: your address. I can let everybody know where they're gonna.
- 50:26Speaker 1: You know what, good luck finding my address. Get it
- 50:28Speaker 1: from Louise. I can curR up. Then I'm ana you
- 50:31Speaker 1: up to and I'm gonna get kids up to let them,
- 50:34Speaker 1: little nappy headed kids come in my yard and see
- 50:37Speaker 1: what happens. Okay, okay, okay, okay, so so, so what
- 50:40Speaker 1: about your neighbor, Patricia? Ask Patricias called Patricia. That's on, Patricia,
- 50:44Speaker 1: ain't got nothing to do with me, just like this
- 50:46Speaker 1: party ain't got nothing to me. I don't know justin
- 50:48Speaker 1: I don't know you you calling people getting adamant and
- 50:52Speaker 1: nasty about using somebody pool with all this going on, man,
- 50:56Speaker 1: I'm not trying to put my life at risk for you, Louise.
- 51:00Speaker 1: You okay, okay, okay, hold on, Can I tell you
- 51:03Speaker 1: something else? Thought? Can I tell you what Patricia told me.

- 51:33Speaker 1: kept saying, Oh, so you're just having parties. It was
- 51:36Speaker 1: three little people in there. Oh my god, I love you.
- 51:42Speaker 1: I love you. Oh I'm so confused right now. I
- 51:45Speaker 1: don't go. I was like, I'm gonna get my pool covered,

- 54:49Speaker 1: why can't he take a hint? Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm
- 54:52Speaker 1: recently divorced and in the process of rebuilding my life.
- 54:55Speaker 1: My ex husband has been in my face and in
- 54:58Speaker 1: my space too much. I had to stop talking to
- 55:02Speaker 1: him altogether in the past few weeks because he's still
- 55:05Speaker 1: acting as if he's my man. He did move me
- 55:08Speaker 1: into my new place and got an additional key made
- 55:12Speaker 1: just in case I had an emergency. We were both
- 55:15Speaker 1: very cautious people, so I didn't think it was strange
- 55:18Speaker 1: for him to have a key. After all, we've been
- 55:20Speaker 1: best friends for many years. I used to come home
- 55:23Speaker 1: and find grocery items he bought and put in my
- 55:26Speaker 1: fridge for me, and it freaked me out. Before my birthday,
- 55:30Speaker 1: he filled my living room with balloons and gifts, and
- 55:33Speaker 1: it scared me. I insisted that he'd always called before
- 55:37Speaker 1: he came by, but since he had a key, it
- 55:40Speaker 1: was hard to regulate when he came. One thing led
- 55:43Speaker 1: to another, and I took my key away from him.
- 55:46Speaker 1: A few months later, I met a man at our
- 55:48Speaker 1: singles ministry mixer at church. He's from a neighborhood church,
- 55:52Speaker 1: and we were instantly attracted to each other. I asked
- 55:55Speaker 1: him if we could attend his church because my ex
- 55:57Speaker 1: attend my church. It wasn't a problem at first until
- 56:01Speaker 1: my ex husband started missing me at our church and
- 56:03Speaker 1: called one Sunday to see if I was all right.
- 56:06Speaker 1: My new guy was in the background when my ex
- 56:09Speaker 1: called on FaceTime. He blurted out that we are good
- 56:13Speaker 1: and everything is good from here on out. My ex
- 56:16Speaker 1: didn't like that, and he popped up at my house.
- 56:19Speaker 1: I explained to him that I was moving on with
- 56:22Speaker 1: my life and I had met someone. He seemed calm,
- 56:25Speaker 1: but he was sweating a lot. He asked if he
- 56:28Speaker 1: could meet my new guy, and I said no. How
- 56:31Speaker 1: do I get my ex husband to understand that he
- 56:34Speaker 1: was a cheater so we're divorced and he needs to
- 56:37Speaker 1: move on without me? Oh? I think he understands quite well.
- 56:43Speaker 1: I really do. He knows what he did, he knows
- 56:47Speaker 1: what divorce means. He understands. Let me say this, I
- 56:50Speaker 1: applaud you for being able to pick up the pieces
- 56:53Speaker 1: and move on. Oftentimes men like him, you know, cheating
- 56:56Speaker 1: husband thinks that you're their property and they can do
- 56:59Speaker 1: whatever they want and you'll just still sit there and
- 57:01Speaker 1: take it and do nothing. He was arrogant and disrespectful
- 57:06Speaker 1: and unfaithful, three things that can get you divorced sooner
- 57:10Speaker 1: or later. What he did was gamble on his marriage
- 57:14Speaker 1: and he lost. Okay, that's it. That's what we mean
- 57:16Speaker 1: when we say it's not what we mean when we
- 57:19Speaker 1: say take risks. I should say, you don't take risks
- 57:22Speaker 1: on your marriage. You don't do that. Okay. Now he's sorry.
- 57:25Speaker 1: He wants to act like he didn't do what he did,
- 57:28Speaker 1: and I bet it wasn't even worth it, the cheating
- 57:30Speaker 1: and all of that. It usually never is. He doesn't
- 57:33Speaker 1: want to let you go, but he's got to face
- 57:35Speaker 1: the facts that it's too late for him right now.
- 57:37Speaker 1: You guys are divorced. It's over. He's going to have
- 57:40Speaker 1: to accept it at some point. And what if you
- 57:43Speaker 1: marry this new guy that you're with right now? What's
- 57:45Speaker 1: your ex gonna do? Then he's got to let you go.
- 57:48Speaker 1: That's what he's got to do. Steve, Why can't he
- 57:52Speaker 1: take a hint? Well, because men don't do hits. We're
- 57:56Speaker 1: not good at that. We don't do hints. You know, ladies,
- 57:59Speaker 1: how many times if you hinted to your man something
- 58:03Speaker 1: and then he didn't catch the hint? Knee? Now you mad,
- 58:07Speaker 1: I hinted to what I wanted for my birthday? You
- 58:09Speaker 1: got to tell him we don't do hints really well,
- 58:14Speaker 1: because we don't think alike. So let's go. The woman
- 58:19Speaker 1: is recently divorced. In the process of rebuilding her life,
- 58:23Speaker 1: her ex husband has been in her face and her
- 58:26Speaker 1: space entirely too much. She said she had to stop
- 58:30Speaker 1: talking to him altogether in the past few weeks because
- 58:33Speaker 1: he was still acting as if he was my man. Now,
- 58:38Speaker 1: I'm going to point out something right here. The reason
- 58:41Speaker 1: he's acting like you he's still your man is because
- 58:45Speaker 1: you allow it. And here we go with the proof.
- 58:52Speaker 1: He did move me into my new place and got
- 58:56Speaker 1: an additional key made just in case I had emergency.
- 59:00Speaker 1: With both cautious people, So I didn't think it was
- 59:02Speaker 1: strange for him to have a key. How you ain't
- 59:04Speaker 1: think that was strange? How you think that it's okay
- 59:09Speaker 1: to give your ex a key to your new place?
- 59:13Speaker 1: How that ain't strange? Fellas if you're in a divorce
- 59:18Speaker 1: and you go get a new place and you give
- 59:21Speaker 1: your key to your ex, whatever happened, you got it
- 59:25Speaker 1: coming because you stupid, stupid give your ex a key
- 59:32Speaker 1: to your new place. And then she said, and the
- 59:36Speaker 1: reason I did it was because, after all, we've been
- 59:39Speaker 1: best friends for many years. I used to come home
- 59:43Speaker 1: and find grocery items he put for me, and my
- 59:45Speaker 1: fridge for me. See that sounds good, don't it. But
- 59:48Speaker 1: then guess what she said, and it freaked me out.
- 59:51Speaker 1: You open up to refrigerate all something, it's just full
- 59:53Speaker 1: of grocery. And then before your birthday, he filled my
- 59:56Speaker 1: living room with balloons and gifts and it scared me.
- 59:59Speaker 1: You freaked out again. I insisted that he'd always called
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: before he came by, but since he had a key,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: it was hard to regulate when he came because he
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: don't care what you say. He moved you in, he
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: got a key. He putting food in the fridge, keep
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: putting balloons in the house. What you're talking about? It
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: freaked you out, but you ate it all right. Hold on, Steve,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: we'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter subject
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: why can't he take a hint? We'll get back into
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening show, all right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is why can't
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: he take a hint? Well, like I said, the reason
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: he can't take a hint is because men don't take
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: hints good. You have to tell us. Divorce lady rebuilding
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: her life, her husband, her ex husband is in a
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: space too much. She didn't quit talking to the man
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: all together because of the past few weeks. He was
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: still acting like he was her man. And I've said
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: before to break this because she allowed it. Now then
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: she says, he did move me into my new place
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: and got an additional key made in case I had
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: an emergency. Then we both cautious people, so I didn't
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: think that was strange for him to have a key.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: After all, we've been best friends for many years. I
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: don't know how you didn't think it would be strange
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: to have your ex to have a key to your
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: new place. How that ain't strange, That's strange as hell.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: That is strange as hell to me. It's damn near weird, right,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: But it's really what I really want to call it.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: That's stupid. It ain't a man alive gonna get a
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: new place and then give his ex wife a key
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: to it because he no. She gonna just pop up
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: every time she thank her something. And guess what I
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: wanna be in here doing showing you why we got
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: to divorce in the first place, all right, Nan, Then
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: she started getting freaked out by little stuff he did.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: He put groceries in the fridge for him come home.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: That freaked out her birthday feeling living room with gifts
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: and balloons. That's scared of the death. And then he
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: say it was hard to rectlate him because he had
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: a key. That's cause it's crazy for him to have
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: the key. So one thing lad to another, and then
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: finally she took the key away. Now here's what life
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: starts picking up. See, once you get rid of the
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: old car in your driveway, you then show the God
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: that you have room for the new car. So after
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: you took your key from the man and stopped playing
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: house with your ex husband so he can pop in,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: fill it up with balloons and groceries and all this hill.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: After you did that, a few months later, glory be
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: to God. I met a man. Why why did you
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: meet a man? Because God saw you were ready to
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: meet the man because you cut off all ties with
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: you're old one. You can't have an old car in
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: the driveway and no place to park the new car.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: So a few months later I met a man at
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: our single ministry, Miss mixer at church. He's from a
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: neighboring church and were instantly attracting each other. I asked
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: him if we could attend his church because my ex
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: attends my church. It wasn't a problem at first until
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: my ex started missing me at our church and called
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: me one Sunday to see if I was all right. Well,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: my new guy was in the background with my ex
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: call on FaceTime, and her new guy blurted out, we're good.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: We're all good. Everything good from hire on out home.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: He was year natan on the tree. He was marking
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: his territory FaceTime. You are right, Yeah, we're good. He
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: wasn't talking to him, but he wanted him to talk
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: to him. We all good, matter, We're good from now
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: this the churchman talking like this because he read it
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: for the confrontation In Jesus, my ex didn't like that. Now.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: My ex didn't like that. So guess what he did.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: He popped up at my house and then I explained
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: to him that I was moving on with my life
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: and I had met someone. He seemed calm, but he
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: was sweating a lot. See. He didn't come over that day.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: He came over the next day and popped up. And
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: the reason he was sweating because he was hoping, like hell,
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: that man that blurted out in the background wasn't over there.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: And the reason he was sweating because he was scared
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: he was gonna get his ass will. That's what the
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: sweating was. Fault. He ain't on drugs or nothing. He
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: went over there and was thinking this could possibly run
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: into a confrontation and I could get my ass will,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: But I'm gonna go over there and hope he ain't that.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: And once again he wasn't there. He asked if he
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: could meet my new guy, and I said no, Now
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: he won't meet the new guy for what I'm gonna
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: tell you why you want to meet him so he
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: can size him up, so he can see what he
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: up agains. But see, he ain't up against nothing, he
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: was up against yourself. Home. You cheated on this woman,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: You did her bad? How do I get Max mons
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: to that he was a cheater? So we're divorced and
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: he needs to move on without me. No, you ain't
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: got to convince him of that. You move on without him.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: See why are you trying to get somebody else to
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: act right? But why don't you act right? Quick? Calling me,
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: block his number, change your number, block him, get a
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: restraint in order get all out right here. That's how
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: you move on. See, you ain't gotta try to get
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: him to do right. You just gotta do what you
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: gotta do so you can go on with your new life.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: You can't make another person do a damn thing, so
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: you have to help him. So you have to help him,
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: and that's all it is. But see, listen to this.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: You can't keep letting people stay in your life that
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: need to be out your life. Y'all need to stop that.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: Stop trying to be friends with everybody. That friendship you
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: and your husband had, that season has passed. He ruined
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: that with distrust. So y'all ain't got to be friends
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: no more. Period. I don't know why we like to
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: hang on the stuff that we need to let go
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: of because and they had kids. They ain't got no kids,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: I know, so it's no reason for them. Man by

- 1:19:00Speaker 1: make a living with it. You play. Average is an
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: upgrade from ugly, though average is an upgrade from average.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: I mean, I don't care average, And what is that?
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: You're an ugly average? Why do we have because you
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: have this dumb on lock. You seem to think that
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: you all right because you've been in half of all

- 1:20:17Speaker 1: to remind everybody guys that tomorrow is election day. We
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: want people to get out and vote. These local elections
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: are very important. So Virginia, New Jersey, Atlanta, please let's
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: get out and vote tomorrow in your state these local elections.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: Check your voting status and know your voting rights. Go
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: to when we all vote dot org. Let's go. We
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: gotta vote, y'all. Absolutely, heyte In closing, I want to
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: go back to something I was talking about, oh last week,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: and it's about pressure. I want to remind every I
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: want to remind everybody about something. When you feel pressure,
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: when you are under pressure, when you're being pressure rised,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: when you feel the weight of everything, embrace it. You
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: hear old people say pressure bust to pipe. I mean,
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: if that's how hard pressure is. But pressure also shapes
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: and molds. Pressure always reveals something and the thing that
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: you have to understand about pressure in your life. It
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: reveals a side of you that you may not have
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: been aware of. When I think back on all the
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: pressure moments of my life, it taught me more and
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: more and more about myself than I even knew. I
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: realized in my life that I'm really strong Longer than
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: I ever thought I was that I can actually bear
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: up under more than I thought I could, And so
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: have you. If you just think about it, y'all, think
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: about back to all your pressure moments and how you
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: handle them. The majority of us, ninety eight percent of
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: us have handled the pressure that was presented to us.
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: Or it didn't feel good, it didn't set right with us.
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: It may have caused some adverse things to happen, but
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: you've survived it. You got on the other side of it,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: and if you haven't, you're currently pressing your way forward
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: through it right now. Pressure is necessary in sculpting who
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: God wants us to be. You need the pressure to
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: form the shape. Nothing happens without pressure. If you ever
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: go to the Grand Canyon, do you see the beauty
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: of the Grand Canyon is one of the natural wonders
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: of the world. You know it caused that pressure. Wressha.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: You haven't seen a river coming down through a creek,
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: babbling creek to how beautiful it is? You know it
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: causes that pressha. That was some pressure somewhere. You ever
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: seen a waterfall, you ever been in Niagara Falls, Victoria Falls?
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: You know how beautiful it is? You know it's caused.
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: You know, it causes that. Prest Sha Wrestia. You know
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: how you get to become the world strongest man. You've
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: put yourself under pressure. You know how athletes? You know
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: how you saying Boat broke all these world records because
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: he put himself under pressure. It's required. Rock Obama became
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: the first African American president of the United States. You
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: know why because he put himself under the pressure. Pressure
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: shapes molds and bills. Man, But bigger than anything else,
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: pressure produces results. You have got to get accustomed to
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: the pressure. You've got to get okay with the pressure,
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: because pressure produces results. Oh man, if it wasn't professional,
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: excuse me, If it wasn't for pressure, you wouldn't be
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: who you are today. Think about it. Every woman in
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: this world who has had a child, has given birth
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: to a child, has been under immense pressure, unthinkable pressure
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: to be able to do that one thing that nobody
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: else can do with them pressure. Your beautiful child was
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: produced under pressure. Pressure is necessary, man, But pressure is uncomfortable.
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: But you got to get comfortable being uncomfortable, because that's
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: the process to the success. Success is on the other
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: side of that pressure. So you got to deal with it. Pressure,
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: pressure busts of pipe, if you want to look at
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: it that way. But pressure also produces a lot of
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: beautiful things. Pressure also produces a lot of great things.
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: Pressure produces great people. I've always just wanted to be
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: one of those. I never thought I would be the
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: absolute best at anything. I don't know I really can
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: say that or not. I don't really remember trying to
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: be the best at anything. I was morning less trying
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: to be the best that I could be at a
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: certain thing. I've never really put myself in that race
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: with other people. I've always put that self, that pressure
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: on me. I've always been under pressure to be the
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: best of me that I could be. And I thank
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: God for pressure because pressure has produced some great moments
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: for me that has allowed me to be the best
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: person I could be at that particular thing that I
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: was doing. That's what pressure does. Embrace the pressure. Drink it,
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: take big SIPs of it, take gulps of it, because
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: it produces greatness. Those are my closing remarks that they
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: hope you got something from it. Y'all have a good one, man. Hey,
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: look here, we'll see y'all to marrow God, will it
