- 0:00Hey everybody, welcome to the inaugural episode of the Lila
- 0:05Rose Show. And this is Lila Rose.
- 0:08Surprise, surprise. I am hosting the first episode
- 0:12of my podcast, believe it or not.
- 0:15I'm really excited that you're listening.
- 0:16Thank you so much to those that are literally it is this
- 0:21inspiration that I received from many of you who are listening.
- 0:24That is the reason I'm even doing this.
- 0:26And I've been when I've been travelling the world over the
- 0:30last 10 years doing pro-life work activism.
- 0:34I've met so many people all over the country.
- 0:37I've, I think I've spoken now in almost every single state except
- 0:41maybe three of all 50 States and across the world.
- 0:45And I've gotten to meet a lot of you guys, just people from all
- 0:48different backgrounds, walks of life, whether it's at events or
- 0:52schools, school campuses or churches or wherever.
- 0:56And it's just been really amazing to learn many stories
- 0:59and to talk about things that are around the pro-life
- 1:04movement. So as many of you know, I've
- 1:06been involved in the pro-life movement now for the last 15
- 1:10years, started as practically a baby.
- 1:12I mean, I was in my early teens. But I realize there's so much
- 1:16more beyond the topic of abortion that affect people's
- 1:21day-to-day lives. I mean, obviously I see abortion
- 1:23as the greatest human rights issue of the day, which is why
- 1:25I've devoted so much of my work to it.
- 1:28And I know many of you listening, I've been doing
- 1:30pro-life work for those that are involved in the movement.
- 1:33And huge shout out to you. Many of you guys are supporters
- 1:36of Live Action, the organization that I started as a teen.
- 1:41Thank you so much. I mean, there's some, so many
- 1:43unsung heroes in the pro-life movement.
- 1:46But what I've heard constantly is there's so many important
- 1:50topics and issues and stories that are beyond even the problem
- 1:56of abortion that have to do with our everyday lives, our
- 1:59relationships, our work, our personal development, politics,
- 2:03of course, culture. And really it's been learning
- 2:07about many of these topics, how they impact our everyday lives.
- 2:11Discussing it with a lot of you who may be listening, hearing
- 2:14you guys send me messages about it on Instagram or talking to me
- 2:18about it after speeches that I've given that have really
- 2:21inspired this podcast. It's something that I've been
- 2:24wanting to do for a few years now, a show of some kind.
- 2:28In the last couple years, it's been OK.
- 2:30Well, podcast is the way to start this out.
- 2:32And really the inspiration for it has been a lot of you guys
- 2:35listening because people have said to me, you know, encourage
- 2:37me, you should do a show, you should do a podcast, you should
- 2:41do something. Well, here it is.
- 2:44So I'm, I, you know, there's a lot of different ways that this
- 2:47could go, a lot of different paths that this podcast can
- 2:51take. But the goal of it is this is a
- 2:54place to learn. This is a place.
- 2:56The thing I'm most passionate about is learning how to live
- 2:59the best life I can live, to serve and to become the best
- 3:02person I can become. And learning from other people
- 3:06and not being afraid to talk about tough issues or
- 3:09controversial issues, whether they're political or or
- 3:12cultural, because they do impact our everyday lives.
- 3:15And learning from people that have maybe in a quiet way, been
- 3:20devoting their life to something that seems ordinary, whether
- 3:23it's being a parent, a mother or father, or in their business or
- 3:26in their churches or wherever it is.
- 3:29But they have so much to teach. So this is really this show.
- 3:32The Lila Rose Show is really a forum for me to learn, for me to
- 3:36learn from you, for us to learn together.
- 3:38I hope that is what it can do is to add value, especially around
- 3:42questions about how to live, how to live lives that are full of
- 3:46purpose, full of joy, and that can contribute to our society,
- 3:51can contribute to those around us all along the way.
- 3:56If you ever have thoughts or questions or comments, I want to
- 4:00hear them, especially on topics that you think should be
- 4:03covered. I don't care how controversial
- 4:05guests that you think I should invite on again, I, I, I, I
- 4:09think that we can learn from anyone.
- 4:11Please message me. You can message me on Instagram.
- 4:13The best way though, is also e-mail.
- 4:16You can e-mail me on the show at thoughts@lilaroseshow.com.
- 4:21Thoughts at lilaroseshow.com. So this podcast, it will include
- 4:25stories, it will include stories of transformation.

- 4:32stories and their work and their expertise can help other
- 4:36people's lives change. I'm eager to hear anybody's
- 4:40feedback about guests that you think I should invite on.
