- 0:00Speaker 1: Joe Biden had a press conference yesterday, the first one
- 0:04Speaker 1: that he's had since he became president. He waited longer
- 0:06Speaker 1: than anyone else have a press conference, and now we
- 0:08Speaker 1: clearly understand why they waited so long to have this
- 0:12Speaker 1: press conference. If the White House staff around Joe Biden
- 0:15Speaker 1: saw what we witnessed yesterday, I now no longer blame
- 0:19Speaker 1: them from protecting him from the press, realizing he can't
- 0:22Speaker 1: go up there on stage and he can't do this.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Yesterday's press conference was terrible, and I do want to
- 0:28Speaker 1: make this point clear. I am not talking about even
- 0:31Speaker 1: from a policy standpoint. I'm not talking about this from
- 0:34Speaker 1: a political standpoint. I'm talking about this from a national
- 0:39Speaker 1: security standpoint. It is very clear that Joe Biden is
- 0:43Speaker 1: having some cognitive issues. And the fact that this guy
- 0:46Speaker 1: is supposed to be the one that is going to
- 0:48Speaker 1: be protecting defending US if we have to go into
- 0:50Speaker 1: some sort of conflict or war or to deal with
- 0:52Speaker 1: nuclear proliferation North Korea, this should be concerning for all Americans.
- 0:57Speaker 1: There was one quote that will stand out from this
- 1:00Speaker 1: press conference. I'm gonna read you Joe Biden's words exactly,
- 1:03Speaker 1: and I'm gonna play them for you in some other
- 1:05Speaker 1: of the comments that he made. But this is an
- 1:09Speaker 1: actual quote from this press conference, a press conference, by
- 1:12Speaker 1: the way, where his staff clearly knew that he was unprepared.
- 1:15Speaker 1: And I'm not talking about unprepared because he didn't study,
- 1:18Speaker 1: had plenty of time to study for this press conference.
- 1:20Speaker 1: I'm talking about unprepared. Just they understood that he couldn't
- 1:24Speaker 1: do this press conference on his own mental capacity. They
- 1:27Speaker 1: had to give him cheat sheets. They had to give
- 1:30Speaker 1: him fourteen point font in talking points that we have
- 1:33Speaker 1: now seen him pictures. They had to give him a
- 1:36Speaker 1: picture book. And I'm not trying to make fun. I'm
- 1:39Speaker 1: not making fun. Let me make that clear of Joe
- 1:41Speaker 1: Biden for this, because it is clear that our enemies
- 1:45Speaker 1: witnessed and saw this yesterday, which puts all of us
- 1:47Speaker 1: in harm's way. There was an actual picture book created
- 1:50Speaker 1: for Joe Biden so that he could find the member
- 1:53Speaker 1: of the media and then he was told which ones
- 1:56Speaker 1: to call on and numbers next to him like one
- 1:58Speaker 1: and two and three with picture of them. Now, the
- 2:01Speaker 1: media would have destroyed Donald Trump if this would have happened,
- 2:05Speaker 1: if he would have had notes that he read from
- 2:07Speaker 1: actual notes that he read from in response to national
- 2:11Speaker 1: security issues, where he says, let me get to you
- 2:13Speaker 1: the answer that looks down at notes and read you
- 2:15Speaker 1: a response with no fault from the media. But that's
- 2:19Speaker 1: the political side this. I'm now talking about the national
- 2:21Speaker 1: security side of it. I'm genuinely concerned about the well
- 2:24Speaker 1: being of this country. Knowing that this is exactly what
- 2:27Speaker 1: Joe Biden is doing or not doing. I get now.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I understand why they protected him from the public. They're
- 2:34Speaker 1: having to protect him from the public. Journalists yesterday off
- 2:38Speaker 1: the record that I talked to said they've never seen
- 2:41Speaker 1: anything like it. They actually quote felt bad for him
- 2:45Speaker 1: seeing Biden's decline. As one journalist set off the record,
- 2:49Speaker 1: they said, everybody walked out of the room and they
- 2:51Speaker 1: realized how fast this man is declining. Is how they
- 2:55Speaker 1: put it to me. Of course they're not gonna say
- 2:56Speaker 1: that on the record. There remember of the liberal media.
- 2:58Speaker 1: But Joe Biden looked incompetent. He looked foolish. There were
- 3:02Speaker 1: points that were even laughable. I watched this and I
- 3:06Speaker 1: said to myself, this is not good for America. I
- 3:08Speaker 1: know that Joe Biden is going to be the president
- 3:11Speaker 1: for the next four years, maybe less. I don't know
- 3:14Speaker 1: based on what I saw yesterday. But my point is
- 3:16Speaker 1: I never want America to look this week under any leader.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Once you become president, units it's America. I'm rooting for
- 3:21Speaker 1: you always from a national security standpoint. We may disagree
- 3:25Speaker 1: on domestic policy issues, but if you look at what
- 3:27Speaker 1: happened yesterday in this press conference, it was horrific. President
- 3:31Speaker 1: Joe Biden spoke about going to the Senate one hundred
- 3:35Speaker 1: and twenty years ago, claiming that nothing had changed on
- 3:38Speaker 1: the border regarding legal immigrants. Those are just two things
- 3:41Speaker 1: that he said that don't even make sense. We all
- 3:44Speaker 1: know there's a change at the border. Democrats admit there's
- 3:46Speaker 1: a change of the border regarding legal immigration. But Joe
- 3:49Speaker 1: Biden actually talked about the Philipbuster and said when I
- 3:51Speaker 1: was in the Senate one hundred and twenty years ago,
- 3:53Speaker 1: that's not an Oops, folks. This comes after a week
- 3:56Speaker 1: ago when he said referred to Kamala Harris as the president.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Posters have come out and said voters created Joe Biden's
- 4:02Speaker 1: press conference is terrible. They're concerned, independence say they're concerned
- 4:07Speaker 1: about his cognitive functions here and the rest of the
- 4:11Speaker 1: world saw an opportunity to move forward with whatever they
- 4:13Speaker 1: want to do, because it's very obvious that Joe Biden
- 4:16Speaker 1: cannot handle or even I would argue, is not really
- 4:19Speaker 1: in control right now. Other people were making decisions on
- 4:22Speaker 1: his behalf and then he's quote implementing them. It's a problem.
- 4:26Speaker 1: New York Posts had a headline today that said stumbling
- 4:30Speaker 1: Biden lies and media swoons, gazed and confused. Fox and
- 4:36Speaker 1: Friends this morning opened up their broadcast sounding like this,
- 4:39Speaker 1: the amazing press conference. Sixty four days it took President
- 4:43Speaker 1: Joe Biden to do a press conference, and the New
- 4:46Speaker 1: York Post is saying he looks glazed and confused. They
- 4:50Speaker 1: can look at some of these sound bites from the
- 4:53Speaker 1: conference here. The best way to get something done if
- 4:57Speaker 1: it holds near and dear to you that you I
- 5:00Speaker 1: like to be able to anyway, We're ready to get
- 5:08Speaker 1: a lot done. When I was a United States Senator,
- 5:10Speaker 1: I mean Vice president, Am I giving you too long
- 5:13Speaker 1: an answer because if you don't want the detail? No?
- 5:15Speaker 1: But I mean I don't know how much detail you
- 5:17Speaker 1: want about immigration? Okay, where am I here? Let me see?
- 5:23Speaker 1: Do you agree? Yes? If not, why not abolish it
- 5:27Speaker 1: if it's a relic of the Jim Crow era. And
- 5:30Speaker 1: so I'm convinced that we'll be able to stop this
- 5:33Speaker 1: because it is the most pernicious thing. This makes Jim
- 5:37Speaker 1: Crowe look like Jim Eagle. Successful. Electro politics is the
- 5:41Speaker 1: art of the possible. You got the right code for
- 5:45Speaker 1: your credit card? You know what was your dog's name? Okay,
- 5:50Speaker 1: hang on, sorry, Oh, I want to make this clear.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I'm not playing this to make fun of Joe Biden.
- 6:00Speaker 1: But when you start talking about your credit card and
- 6:02Speaker 1: your dog name, and it makes no contact and no sense,
- 6:06Speaker 1: and the contexts the question you were asked, when you're
- 6:08Speaker 1: having to say okay, hold on you. When you lose
- 6:10Speaker 1: your train of thought, when you tell people you were
- 6:12Speaker 1: in the Senate one hundred and twenty years ago, this
- 6:15Speaker 1: is not what this country needs from its leader of
- 6:19Speaker 1: the free world. He talked about going back to filibuster
- 6:22Speaker 1: of one hundred and twenty years ago when he was
- 6:23Speaker 1: in office, said quote, we should go back to a
- 6:25Speaker 1: position with the filibuster that existed when I came to
- 6:28Speaker 1: the United States Senate one hundred and twenty years ago. Joe,
- 6:31Speaker 1: you were not in the Senate one hundred and twenty
- 6:33Speaker 1: years ago. And he didn't say it like it was
- 6:35Speaker 1: a misstep. He said it like declaring it, folks. He
- 6:39Speaker 1: said it like this is fact, absolute and utter fact,
- 6:44Speaker 1: that he is the guy that Joe Biden was in
- 6:48Speaker 1: the Senate one hundred and twenty years ago. And you
- 6:50Speaker 1: know that one hundred and twenty years ago. I played
- 6:54Speaker 1: it over and over again because I was shocked that
- 6:56Speaker 1: the media didn't follow up on that or even mentioned
- 6:59Speaker 1: or even excuse me, so you weren't in the senne
- 7:01Speaker 1: hundred and twenty years ago. That's what a media should do.
- 7:03Speaker 1: By the way, with regarding the filibuster, I believe we
- 7:07Speaker 1: should go back to a position of the filibuster that
- 7:09Speaker 1: existed just when I came to the United States Senate
- 7:11Speaker 1: one hundred and twenty years ago. There's no there's no
- 7:14Speaker 1: stammering there. This is this is a very declarative sentence.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Just when I came to the United States Senate one
- 7:22Speaker 1: hundred and twenty years ago. We should have known and
- 7:26Speaker 1: the media should have known that something was very wrong
- 7:28Speaker 1: with Joe Biden. Now from reports they're coming out before
- 7:32Speaker 1: this press conference even began, President Joe Biden. Not only
- 7:36Speaker 1: did he appear to lose his train of thought throughout
- 7:38Speaker 1: the entire press conference, trailing off and then abruptly changing
- 7:42Speaker 1: the subject and then having to go back to his
- 7:43Speaker 1: notes and having no idea where he is, but we
- 7:46Speaker 1: have now been told by multiple reporters that earlier in
- 7:50Speaker 1: the day, Joe Biden was asked by members of the
- 7:55Speaker 1: media about the big press conference coming up. Listen to this.
- 8:00Speaker 1: His first solo press conference as president. A few minutes ago.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Somebody shouted out to him, how are you getting ready
- 8:06Speaker 1: for the press conference? And he said, what press conference?
- 8:11Speaker 1: What press conference? What press conference? This guy's supposed to
- 8:16Speaker 1: be getting ready for the big press conference. The media
- 8:19Speaker 1: yells at him, are you getting ready for? How are
- 8:22Speaker 1: you getting ready for the press conference? His first press conference?
- 8:25Speaker 1: And he not joking, not laughing, dead serious, looks at
- 8:28Speaker 1: the media and stares them in the eyes and says, quote,
- 8:31Speaker 1: what press conference. Of his first solo press conference as president.
- 8:36Speaker 1: A few minutes ago, somebody shouted out to him, how
- 8:39Speaker 1: are you getting ready for the press conference? And he said,
- 8:42Speaker 1: what press conference? Not a joke, that was a real answer,
- 8:47Speaker 1: like dead serious answer, what press conference? And that's before
- 8:52Speaker 1: we even got to the press conference. So if you
- 8:55Speaker 1: look at just some of the highlights of how bad
- 8:57Speaker 1: it is, and again, I'm not making fun. This isn't
- 9:00Speaker 1: a laughing matter. And that's the point I want to make.
- 9:02Speaker 1: The easy, cheap shot is to mock the president for this,
- 9:05Speaker 1: to make fun of him. I'm not doing that. I
- 9:07Speaker 1: am telling you right now, this is not good for
- 9:10Speaker 1: the national security of the United States of America. This
- 9:14Speaker 1: guy waited longer than any other president a hundred years
- 9:16Speaker 1: to hold his first press conference. We now know why.
- 9:18Speaker 1: It's because he couldn't do it. And now our enemies
- 9:21Speaker 1: know this. You start off by saying that you were
- 9:23Speaker 1: in the Senate one hundred and twenty years ago. Before that.
- 9:25Speaker 1: You start off by answering when the media asked you, Hey,
- 9:28Speaker 1: how are you getting ready for the press conference? And
- 9:30Speaker 1: he looks at he says, what press conference? This guy
- 9:34Speaker 1: looks at the media and tells him that nothing has
- 9:37Speaker 1: changed on the border regarding illegal immigration, nothing at all.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Day sixty five of his presidency. He doesn't even know
- 9:44Speaker 1: he's having a press conference. He filled it only ten
- 9:47Speaker 1: questions from ten reporters that they gave him a picture
- 9:51Speaker 1: book of who to call on and pictures of the
- 9:53Speaker 1: reporter for a quote question answer session. In some cases,
- 9:58Speaker 1: reporters were four to press Biden, particularly on the issues
- 10:03Speaker 1: pretending to immigration crist at the border. He continued to
- 10:05Speaker 1: say there was no crisis. He looked down at these
- 10:10Speaker 1: preprepared notes, and he continued to echo the talking points
- 10:14Speaker 1: that he said over and over again, accusing Republicans and
- 10:16Speaker 1: pursuing voter suppression. Even one of the reporters, in a
- 10:22Speaker 1: disgusting show of partisanship, characterized Biden as being quote decent
- 10:26Speaker 1: and moral. Decent and moral has nothing to do with
- 10:32Speaker 1: what changes at the border. That's PBS reporter said. The
- 10:35Speaker 1: perception of you that you got elected as a moral
- 10:37Speaker 1: and decent man's the reason that allowed the immigrants are
- 10:39Speaker 1: coming to this country and trusting you with undecompany minors.
- 10:42Speaker 1: How do you resolve the tension and how are you
- 10:44Speaker 1: choosing which families can stand go? Biden dismissed the notion
- 10:49Speaker 1: that immigrants are crossing the border because he's proceeded by them,
- 10:52Speaker 1: is welcoming them compared to former Presidentald Trump. I guess
- 10:57Speaker 1: they should be flattered. People are coming because I'm the
- 11:00Speaker 1: nice guy that's the reason why it's happening is that
- 11:03Speaker 1: I'm a decent man or whoever, however it's phrase, Biden said,
- 11:07Speaker 1: that's why they're coming because Biden's a good guy. The
- 11:10Speaker 1: truth is of the matter is nothing has changed. I
- 11:13Speaker 1: guess I should be flattered because people are coming here,
- 11:15Speaker 1: but nothing has changed. How do you even say those words,
- 11:21Speaker 1: like everybody knows something has changed the border, Democrats agree,
- 11:24Speaker 1: Republicans agree, independence degree, the numbers prove it. And then
- 11:30Speaker 1: he looks at you straight in the face and said,
- 11:32Speaker 1: nothing's changed. Biden waited not only longer than any other
- 11:37Speaker 1: president in about one hundred years to hold his first
- 11:39Speaker 1: news conference, but then he was also asked a question
- 11:41Speaker 1: about transparency at the border, like when are you gonna
- 11:43Speaker 1: let people in? You know how he responded. He responded,
- 11:46Speaker 1: when I clean it up. That's when you'll get to
- 11:48Speaker 1: see what's happening at the border, when I decide that
- 11:50Speaker 1: the border is okay to look at. He also said
- 11:58Speaker 1: something else that made no sense at all. Biden said
- 12:01Speaker 1: that immigrants flooding our border, after saying nothing had changed,
- 12:04Speaker 1: don't want to leave their home countries. Well, then why
- 12:07Speaker 1: are they leaving their home countries to come to America.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Take a listen. Well, no, treating the roots causes in
- 12:12Speaker 1: Latin America doesn't change things overnight. How do you realistically
- 12:16Speaker 1: and physically keep these families from coming to the US
- 12:20Speaker 1: when things will not get better in their countries right away? Well,
- 12:25Speaker 1: I can't guarantee that, but I know you know that
- 12:29Speaker 1: old thing, the journey of a thousand miles starts with
- 12:31Speaker 1: the first step. You know as well as I do.
- 12:34Speaker 1: You're covering you have serious It's not like somebody sitting
- 12:39Speaker 1: on a hand youn table on Guatemala, I mean somewhere
- 12:45Speaker 1: in Mexico or in Guadalupe, said I got a great idea.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Let's sell everything we have, give it to a coyote.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Hadn't take our kids across the border into the desert
- 12:58Speaker 1: where they don't speak the language. Won't that be fun?
- 13:01Speaker 1: Let's go. That's not how it happens. People don't want
- 13:06Speaker 1: to leave. When my great grandfather got in a coffin
- 13:10Speaker 1: ship in the Irish Sea, expectation he was he going
- 13:14Speaker 1: to live long enough on that ship to get to
- 13:17Speaker 1: the United States of America. But they left because what
- 13:19Speaker 1: the Brits had been doing. They're in real, real trouble.
- 13:23Speaker 1: They didn't want to leave, but they had no choice.
- 13:28Speaker 1: So you've got we can't I can't guarantee we're going
- 13:31Speaker 1: to solve everything, but I can guarantee we can make
- 13:34Speaker 1: everything better. We can make it better again, the answer
- 13:39Speaker 1: that he just gave doesn't make any sense. He just
- 13:41Speaker 1: said there's no problem at the border. Then he said
- 13:43Speaker 1: they're flighting the border. Then he says the people they're
- 13:45Speaker 1: funding the border don't want to leave their home countries. Well,
- 13:49Speaker 1: then why are they fighting the border? But all of
- 13:54Speaker 1: this goes back to the same, the same major problem,
- 13:58Speaker 1: and that is, how on earth are we going to
- 14:00Speaker 1: survive the next four years with this guy in charge
- 14:02Speaker 1: when he's clearly not in charge. You know that the
- 14:07Speaker 1: media was trying to cover for him last sight, saying
- 14:10Speaker 1: there's no problems with him. You just look stupid saying
- 14:14Speaker 1: that now you can cover for this guy all you
- 14:18Speaker 1: want to. It doesn't mean that I'm not gonna I
- 14:21Speaker 1: can't witness and hear with my own ears, of my
- 14:24Speaker 1: own eyes, what happened yesterday. He said something else that
- 14:27Speaker 1: was ridiculous. Yesterday he literally said Biden claimed that teachers
- 14:30Speaker 1: and cops actually pay a higher tax rate than billionaires,
- 14:34Speaker 1: and not a single member of the media said to him, sir,
- 14:36Speaker 1: that's not true. Where's the proof. It's kind of amazing
- 14:40Speaker 1: when the federal budget is saving people's lives, they don't
- 14:44Speaker 1: think it's such a good idea. When the federal budget
- 14:48Speaker 1: is feathering the nest of the wealthiest Americans, ninety of
- 14:52Speaker 1: the fortune five hundred companies making billions of dollars not
- 14:55Speaker 1: paying a cent in taxes, reducing taxes to the point
- 15:00Speaker 1: that people who were making you know, if you're a
- 15:03Speaker 1: husband and wife, school teacher and a cop, you're paying
- 15:07Speaker 1: at a higher rate than the average person making a
- 15:10Speaker 1: billion dollars a year. Is that's just a lie, It's
- 15:14Speaker 1: not true. Do you think anybody in the media decide
- 15:17Speaker 1: to fact check that or to even ask a follow
- 15:21Speaker 1: up question about that. Nope, because they were just trying
- 15:26Speaker 1: to help this guy get through the day. They were
- 15:28Speaker 1: they were witnessing what all of us were witnessing, which
- 15:31Speaker 1: was the brain sputtering out at the end of questions
- 15:34Speaker 1: about filibusters after claiming he was in the Senate one
- 15:36Speaker 1: hundred and fifty years ago. I have never been particularly
- 15:41Speaker 1: poor at calculating how to get things done in the
- 15:43Speaker 1: United States Senate. So the best way to get something
- 15:47Speaker 1: done if you hold near and dear to you that
- 15:51Speaker 1: you like to be able to anyway. We're ready to
- 15:59Speaker 1: get a lot done. And if we have to, if
- 16:01Speaker 1: there's complete lockdown and chaos is a consequence the filibuster,
- 16:06Speaker 1: then we'll have to go beyond what I'm talking about. Okay,
- 16:13Speaker 1: hang on, sorry, oh sing man, Miss Kim. Nothing that
- 16:23Speaker 1: you just heard was edited. That was a real time recording,
- 16:28Speaker 1: and in forty one seconds what you just heard was quote.
- 16:32Speaker 1: And in order to do that, and in fifties fifty senates,
- 16:35Speaker 1: we've got to get to the place where I get
- 16:37Speaker 1: fifty votes that the Vice President of the United States
- 16:39Speaker 1: can break the tie, or I get fifty one votes
- 16:42Speaker 1: without her. And so I'm going to say something outrageous.
- 16:47Speaker 1: I have never been particularly poor at calculating how to
- 16:50Speaker 1: get things done in the United States Senate. So the
- 16:53Speaker 1: best way to get thing done if you hold near
- 16:55Speaker 1: and dear to you that you like to be able
- 17:00Speaker 1: to anyway. Period, We're going to get a lot done.
- 17:06Speaker 1: And if we have to, if there's complete chaos, and
- 17:10Speaker 1: the chaos as a consequence of the Philibus and then
- 17:13Speaker 1: we'll have to go beyond what I'm talking about. That
- 17:16Speaker 1: doesn't make any sense, That is gibberish, It doesn't make
- 17:20Speaker 1: any sense. And the Democrats saying he had a great
- 17:24Speaker 1: press conference tonight, Oh yeah, he had a great press conference. Here.
- 17:28Speaker 1: He knocked it out of the park. And we haven't
- 17:31Speaker 1: even gotten to Jim the Eagle yet. Don't don't forget.
- 17:34Speaker 1: We made up a new eagle which everyone had to
- 17:36Speaker 1: go google. And so I'm convinced that we'll be able
- 17:40Speaker 1: to stop this because it is the most pernicious thing.
- 17:43Speaker 1: This makes Jim Crowe look like Jim Eagle. Men, this
- 17:47Speaker 1: is gigantic what they're trying to do. By the way,
- 17:51Speaker 1: no one knows what Jim Eagle is. Everybody googled it,
- 17:55Speaker 1: of course, trying to figure out, like, did we miss something?
- 17:58Speaker 1: Was this something that happened one hundred and twenty years
- 18:00Speaker 1: ago in the US Senate when you were there, Joe
- 18:02Speaker 1: to quote Joe Biden one hundred fifty years ago in
- 18:05Speaker 1: the Senate joining me now to talk about this and
- 18:10Speaker 1: the situation the border is US Senator Marsha Blackburn, Senator,
- 18:17Speaker 1: I appreciate you coming on. I'm sure you've seen at
- 18:20Speaker 1: least the highlights if you didn't watch the press conference.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Since entirety, I say this, and I mean it when
- 18:25Speaker 1: I say it. I don't care if it's Barack Obama
- 18:28Speaker 1: being the president of Joe Biden. I never want my
- 18:31Speaker 1: president to look weak or incompetent on the world stage.
- 18:35Speaker 1: And this press conference that we watched when witness yesterday,
- 18:38Speaker 1: the picture book that he was given to call on
- 18:41Speaker 1: members of the press, which no one would ever allow
- 18:43Speaker 1: for Donald Trump to get away with, the flash cards,
- 18:45Speaker 1: the cheat sheets that he was given on certain subjects
- 18:48Speaker 1: that we now have, the pictures of that he was
- 18:50Speaker 1: holding there, the losing of his thoughts, the basic moments
- 18:53Speaker 1: where he literally just didn't even know what he was
- 18:55Speaker 1: saying when he was trying to answer questions. This should
- 18:58Speaker 1: be concerning to every American, and not in a mean way,
- 19:02Speaker 1: just in a reality that if you're a world leader
- 19:04Speaker 1: and you watch this, you say, now is the time
- 19:06Speaker 1: to go. If there's anything you want to challenge the
- 19:08Speaker 1: US on, challenge them right now? Am I wrong? Well?
- 19:12Speaker 1: I think that what the world is doing then is
- 19:16Speaker 1: looking very closely at how Biden is going to governing
- 19:20Speaker 1: and also what kind of control he has on the administration.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Is he the one making the decisions or is it
- 19:28Speaker 1: the team around him that is making the decisions. And
- 19:33Speaker 1: what we saw in that press conference, which by the way,
- 19:36Speaker 1: there's no president that has gone that long without doing
- 19:40Speaker 1: a press conference, just as there is no president who
- 19:43Speaker 1: has been as aggressive in signing executive orders. But what
- 19:47Speaker 1: we saw was a president who seemed to have to
- 19:52Speaker 1: be coached to get through the press conference with a
- 19:57Speaker 1: different visual aids that would help him to call on
- 20:03Speaker 1: people or to answer questions. And then I thought, you know,
- 20:07Speaker 1: it was like he lost his place, and then he
- 20:10Speaker 1: would kind of find his place, and then he would
- 20:12Speaker 1: get back off his place again. It was not something
- 20:16Speaker 1: that was encouraging to see from a standpoint of just
- 20:20Speaker 1: power and showing power as a nation. That is the
- 20:25Speaker 1: part that concerns me. And then the real question is
- 20:27Speaker 1: who is running the country. But I now understand completely
- 20:32Speaker 1: why he took so long to have this press conference.
- 20:34Speaker 1: He took so long to have it because the team,
- 20:36Speaker 1: I think, was obviously realizing he's not up for this
- 20:40Speaker 1: press conference. How are you going to not be how?
- 20:42Speaker 1: I mean, how do we now say that this guy
- 20:44Speaker 1: can deal with all the problems that the world has,
- 20:46Speaker 1: or all the threats to this country, if he can't
- 20:48Speaker 1: even handle a basic press conference with a cheat sheet,
- 20:52Speaker 1: with the picture book in front of him, of the
- 20:54Speaker 1: people he's supposed to call on, and with so many
- 20:57Speaker 1: basic questions not even being asked of him. I mean,
- 21:00Speaker 1: when we're talking about major issues that were avoided. Reporters
- 21:05Speaker 1: failed to ask Biden about COVID, They failed to ask
- 21:08Speaker 1: him about reopening schools, They failed to ask him even
- 21:11Speaker 1: about the Boulder shooting. They failed to ask him about Russia.
- 21:15Speaker 1: And these are all the biggest issues that we're dealing
- 21:17Speaker 1: with in this country and around the world, well as
- 21:20Speaker 1: they are. You look at the Northern Triangle, and he
- 21:23Speaker 1: fumbled that. You know, why didn't they ask him about
- 21:27Speaker 1: China and delved into what is going on with China?
- 21:33Speaker 1: And for goodness sakes, big Tech, who is trying to
- 21:36Speaker 1: censor so many of us. You know, you're laying as
- 21:40Speaker 1: those issues there then and you are spot on, and
- 21:44Speaker 1: you look at what is happening with Russia, what is
- 21:46Speaker 1: happening with China, what is happening with big Tech, what
- 21:50Speaker 1: is happening here domestically with COVID, what is why are
- 21:55Speaker 1: schools not being opened in some states? And why are
- 21:59Speaker 1: teachers union still being allowed to keep these children out
- 22:03Speaker 1: of school? Those are the things that people are asking
- 22:08Speaker 1: about and are warning answers too. But you know, even
- 22:12Speaker 1: though we got softball questions from some of those reporters
- 22:16Speaker 1: and they were pre screened and pre selected, what did
- 22:20Speaker 1: you see happened? You saw him fumble the questions that
- 22:25Speaker 1: were pre screened, which I'm sure he had been coached on,
- 22:30Speaker 1: and it was not a confidence building day for President
- 22:35Speaker 1: Biden or for his administration. You know, you look at
- 22:39Speaker 1: the Daily Mail and the Associated Press. They both actually
- 22:42Speaker 1: have the same pretty much headline. One of them reads
- 22:45Speaker 1: Joe's cheat sheets. Biden relied on fourteen point font prompted
- 22:51Speaker 1: cards during his press conference, quitting one with the headshots
- 22:55Speaker 1: of journalists he planned to call on and the ones
- 22:57Speaker 1: not to call on. We've gotten some zoom in pictures
- 23:01Speaker 1: of these cheat sheets and it says, you know, infrastructure,
- 23:04Speaker 1: and it's got you know, a hashtag with China and
- 23:07Speaker 1: then bridges and then roads and then the United States
- 23:10Speaker 1: now ranked thirteen globally. I mean, this is this is
- 23:14Speaker 1: what a kid in sixth grade tries to do if
- 23:16Speaker 1: they're doing a class presentation on government, not a not
- 23:19Speaker 1: the president knights. It's America, certainly, not somebody that's been
- 23:23Speaker 1: quoting him. And I'm not trying to be mean, but
- 23:24Speaker 1: what did you say has been it's been in the
- 23:26Speaker 1: Senate one hundred and twenty years as his press conference,
- 23:29Speaker 1: and no one even caught that one. Well, and I
- 23:34Speaker 1: have to tell you there were so many big misses
- 23:37Speaker 1: in this that it is frustrating. Pardon me, I know,
- 23:42Speaker 1: for everybody to see. And Ben, we're living with this
- 23:45Speaker 1: frustration every single day as we try to defend freedom
- 23:50Speaker 1: and as we try to hold back what the Democrats
- 23:55Speaker 1: are doing with taking away voting rights, taking away gun rights,
- 24:00Speaker 1: defunding the police, running the numbers off the credit cards
- 24:05Speaker 1: that they keep swiping like crazy. With a two trillion
- 24:09Speaker 1: dollar bill, and now they're talking about an infrastructure bill
- 24:13Speaker 1: that is a five trillion dollar bill. And here is
- 24:15Speaker 1: one of the things, and I know you see it.
- 24:18Speaker 1: I see it. Also they feel as if they can
- 24:21Speaker 1: use other people's money to buy favor. And for him
- 24:26Speaker 1: to say yesterday and I think this was really significant.
- 24:30Speaker 1: He doesn't even know if there will be a Republican
- 24:33Speaker 1: Party by twenty twenty four. This is their goal. They
- 24:38Speaker 1: want to do a way with anybody who is in
- 24:42Speaker 1: disagreement with them. This is the cancel culture writ large.
- 24:47Speaker 1: This is their goal as they look at how they're
- 24:51Speaker 1: going to radically transform the United States. So every single
- 24:58Speaker 1: day we are in push each mode on them with
- 25:02Speaker 1: this entire number of issues that we're dealing with. I
- 25:06Speaker 1: got three things I want to ask you about that
- 25:08Speaker 1: are totally different subjects. So we'll try to go through
- 25:10Speaker 1: this because I want to make sure we get in
- 25:11Speaker 1: the three big issues. Let's talk about executive action. Joe
- 25:15Speaker 1: Biden and Harris have both called for mandatory buybacks of
- 25:19Speaker 1: twenty million quote of salt weapons, and now we're talking
- 25:22Speaker 1: about the President doing this through quote executive action, gun
- 25:26Speaker 1: control through executive action. To put this in perspective, this
- 25:30Speaker 1: buyback program they want to do in this country is
- 25:33Speaker 1: the one they did in New Zealand, which is now
- 25:35Speaker 1: the people in New Zealand are terrified because some of
- 25:37Speaker 1: their guns were handed back over the government. Now they
- 25:39Speaker 1: can't get them anymore. When you hear the president going
- 25:42Speaker 1: possibly through executive action, what does that mean for everybody listening?
- 25:46Speaker 1: Right now. Are they going to be able to do this?
- 25:48Speaker 1: Is it constitutional? Is it legal? And how will we
- 25:50Speaker 1: fight back? Well, first of all, you know they've gone
- 25:56Speaker 1: after your free speech. And once they get your religious
- 26:00Speaker 1: liberty gone and free speech gone, then they've got Second
- 26:05Speaker 1: Amendment in the queue, and we know that's what they're
- 26:09Speaker 1: trying to do. Now, what they're seeking to do through
- 26:12Speaker 1: this buy back, No, I don't think that that will
- 26:15Speaker 1: pass constitutional muster. And these are things that are going
- 26:20Speaker 1: to end up in the courts, just like other provisions
- 26:24Speaker 1: they're doing through executive order. God bless them of the
- 26:28Speaker 1: state attorney generals. They're taking them to court, and that
- 26:32Speaker 1: is what we need them to do. But we're pushing
- 26:37Speaker 1: back on this every day in the Senate. We still
- 26:39Speaker 1: have the filibuster. Joe Mansion and Kirsten Cinema are the
- 26:43Speaker 1: two Democrats that are holding with us on the filibuster,
- 26:48Speaker 1: and we are keeping the pressure on them. We have
- 26:53Speaker 1: to have that sixty vote rule. Now. See, what they're
- 26:57Speaker 1: trying to do is even get rid of them a
- 27:00Speaker 1: buster so they can start to steamroll and turn this
- 27:04Speaker 1: country into a socialist country with them in charge permanently forever.
- 27:10Speaker 1: It would take us decades to pull ourselves back from
- 27:15Speaker 1: their goals. It's it is absolutely that. I want to
- 27:19Speaker 1: ask you another question, that's on the border issue that
- 27:22Speaker 1: we're seeing in this in this in Sandy at the border. Yesterday,
- 27:25Speaker 1: there was a video that went viral of a pro
- 27:27Speaker 1: golfer in Texas that was going to the golf course
- 27:30Speaker 1: who witnessed hundreds and hundreds of illegal immigrants being dumped
- 27:35Speaker 1: on the street out of an eighteen wheeler right by
- 27:39Speaker 1: the golf course where he was going to play. And
- 27:41Speaker 1: it was a it was a very non political moment,
- 27:44Speaker 1: and that's the reason why it went viral. It's a
- 27:47Speaker 1: pro golfer that was not political, right, He's just in
- 27:50Speaker 1: shock that he's witnessing this and and shocked how just
- 27:53Speaker 1: blazing it was. It was here, we open up the
- 27:56Speaker 1: back door and it was like an unlimited flow of
- 27:58Speaker 1: illegal immigrants coming out back of an eighteen wheel or
- 28:01Speaker 1: in Texas, and he couldn't believe what he was seeing.
- 28:03Speaker 1: He posts on social media and people immediately started attacking
- 28:05Speaker 1: him saying, oh, this is this is somehow racist, and
- 28:08Speaker 1: he's like, I'm just showing you what I'm looking at.
- 28:11Speaker 1: I'm not political I'm a golfer. I'm not a politician.
- 28:14Speaker 1: I'm a golfer. But you're telling me you think it's
- 28:16Speaker 1: okay for two, three, four or five hundred people to
- 28:18Speaker 1: just come out of the back of an eighteen wheel
- 28:19Speaker 1: or out of the streets in America. No COVID tests,
- 28:22Speaker 1: no idea who these people are, no idea at their
- 28:25Speaker 1: criminals are. And this is what's happening now at the border.
- 28:28Speaker 1: And Joe Biden has said, we're not going to let
- 28:30Speaker 1: cameras in. We're not gonna let you see anything. And
- 28:32Speaker 1: he said this out loud at the press conference until
- 28:35Speaker 1: I clean it up, until I get it where then
- 28:38Speaker 1: I think it's okay for you to see it. Yeah,
- 28:41Speaker 1: that was a standing and what an amazing moment in
- 28:45Speaker 1: the press conference for him to say that in to
- 28:47Speaker 1: admit he's not going to let people in. Look, this
- 28:50Speaker 1: is why I went to the border last weekend in
- 28:53Speaker 1: Arizona and went with two sheriffs and we went out
- 28:58Speaker 1: on that border. This thing is totally out of control,
- 29:04Speaker 1: totally out of control. Biden has broken the border. This
- 29:07Speaker 1: is his open border policies, it's his immigration policy, and
- 29:12Speaker 1: what they are doing. And let me tell you something.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Then anybody that tells you that most of these migrants
- 29:19Speaker 1: are being sent back, they're lying. It's a it's a lie.
- 29:25Speaker 1: It is not true what they're doing. I walked the
- 29:29Speaker 1: path that they walk in Arizona, coming through one of
- 29:33Speaker 1: the Indian reservations that fronts the Mexico side and the uside.
- 29:39Speaker 1: I went out there. These cartels are big business. They
- 29:42Speaker 1: put people in cartel clothing. It's like a uniform, a backpack,
- 29:46Speaker 1: a hat, purpet shoes. They put bracelets on them. If
- 29:51Speaker 1: they have paid their cartel fee and you don't cross
- 29:54Speaker 1: that border without going through a cartel, they put the bracelet.
- 30:00Speaker 1: It on. It tells you if they've paid their fee
- 30:02Speaker 1: or if they need to work for the cartel and
- 30:06Speaker 1: work out their fee. And six thousand dollars to work
- 30:10Speaker 1: out a fee is a lot and no telling quat
- 30:12Speaker 1: it is. This is how people end up in gangs,
- 30:15Speaker 1: labor work crews, sex trafficking rings, human trafficking rings. Book
- 30:21Speaker 1: cause these people are being abused. Then well, the daily
- 30:26Speaker 1: average revenue they say attributed to the human smuggling in February,
- 30:31Speaker 1: the cartels that track these migrant workers in the US
- 30:35Speaker 1: with these GPS wristbands forcing the pay off their debt.
- 30:38Speaker 1: The number we're saying is the average revenue they believe
- 30:41Speaker 1: attributed to smuggling was estimated at fourteen point six million
- 30:45Speaker 1: a day in February alone. Right, that's exactly right. And
- 30:49Speaker 1: see they make more money from trafficking people than drugs.
- 30:53Speaker 1: But the Cineloa Cartel L Tropos Cartel is in charge
- 30:58Speaker 1: of the Mexican side of the Arizona border. I went
- 31:02Speaker 1: out in the mountains. They've got scouts up in the
- 31:05Speaker 1: mountains are spies. They're surveilling our border patrol, our local
- 31:10Speaker 1: law enforcement, and they're telling the coyotes that are running
- 31:15Speaker 1: these groups on the ground where to go. Just like
- 31:19Speaker 1: with all of this technology that they are using down
- 31:22Speaker 1: there on the border, they were probably directing that guide
- 31:26Speaker 1: driving the eighteen wheeler and say go here, there are
- 31:29Speaker 1: no cops here. You can unload here, and then people
- 31:32Speaker 1: can run. They call those bailouts when they pull up
- 31:37Speaker 1: and the doors open, and then about thirty seconds everybody
- 31:41Speaker 1: is gone. And you're right, what they are doing on
- 31:44Speaker 1: this border where people can come in no COVID test.
- 31:49Speaker 1: We don't know who they are. We do know that
- 31:52Speaker 1: terrorists are coming in. We do know that people on
- 31:57Speaker 1: the watch list are coming in. We do know that
- 32:01Speaker 1: people from a lot of different countries are coming in.
- 32:05Speaker 1: In twenty nineteen, before President Trump started getting that border
- 32:08Speaker 1: wall up and beating up the surveillance on that border,
- 32:12Speaker 1: what did you see? You saw people from over a
- 32:17Speaker 1: hundred countries that came in. This is what we're dealing with.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Last question, You and I saw each other at Seapack.
- 32:26Speaker 1: I spoke at Seapack on social media and censorship. Within
- 32:30Speaker 1: twelve hours of leaving Seapack, Yeah, thank you. Within twelve
- 32:35Speaker 1: hours of leaving Seapack, my Facebook page with one point
- 32:39Speaker 1: two million followers was shut down. It was obviously connected
- 32:43Speaker 1: to making that speech at Seapack. I think everybody can
- 32:45Speaker 1: connect the dots. Are we any closer, Senator to doing
- 32:50Speaker 1: anything to actually stop big tech from being able to
- 32:53Speaker 1: silence so many Americans, just like myself, just for even
- 32:58Speaker 1: speaking out against them. Well, as you and I talked
- 33:02Speaker 1: at Sea Pack, I was going for the top Republican
- 33:05Speaker 1: slot on that Consumer Protection Committee that will oversee a
- 33:09Speaker 1: lot of this and oversee the FTC. And I've been
- 33:13Speaker 1: working with my Democrat counterpart. As I spoke at Sea
- 33:18Speaker 1: pac on the free speech issue. When you look at
- 33:21Speaker 1: the Virtual You Protection Agenda, which I am driving, you
- 33:25Speaker 1: have to have online privacy legislation, online data security legislation.
- 33:30Speaker 1: We are also working on Section to thirty reforms and
- 33:34Speaker 1: anti trust and I do have a good bit of
- 33:39Speaker 1: Democrats support on these issues. And Ben, what I'm going
- 33:44Speaker 1: to do. Let's take it one thing at a time
- 33:46Speaker 1: and start to get some things on the book. I
- 33:48Speaker 1: have tried to do online privacy legislation since twenty twelve
- 33:53Speaker 1: and have been fought and now finally after all these years,
- 33:57Speaker 1: we're building by partisan support and I am determined to
- 34:02Speaker 1: see this story. Senator, I do appreciate you coming on
- 34:05Speaker 1: the podcast today, and a quick reminder to all of
- 34:07Speaker 1: you listening, please make sure that you share this podcast
- 34:10Speaker 1: with your family and friends. As you just heard the
- 34:12Speaker 1: Senator and I talking about, we've been banned from big
- 34:15Speaker 1: Tech and now we need you guys to share this
- 34:18Speaker 1: podcast or your family and friends. So if you're listening
- 34:20Speaker 1: right now, take a screenshot on your phone of this
- 34:24Speaker 1: podcast and then share that picture on social media or
- 34:28Speaker 1: text it to your family and friends and let them
- 34:29Speaker 1: know about our podcast so others can listen to us
- 34:32Speaker 1: as well. Again, thank you so much for listening to today,
- 34:35Speaker 1: and I will see you guys back here tomorrow
