- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. Y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a suit look like the don
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them just like the million bucks things. And it's
- 0:19Speaker 1: not good at listening together to please I don't join me.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta turning. You gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:43Speaker 1: You haven't got to turn them out to turn the water.
- 1:47Speaker 1: The water got me. Come come on your thing? Uh huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show will a good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, Come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show, Man on Man on man. Wow.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I think about all the things God has done for
- 2:19Speaker 1: me is overwhelming at times. And I want everybody to
- 2:24Speaker 1: have that feeling and to sharing that feeling of completion
- 2:27Speaker 1: and satisfaction. And the only reason I got this, and
- 2:31Speaker 1: it's the thousandth time I've said it, is because I
- 2:34Speaker 1: formed a relationship with my creator. Period. That's it. That's it,
- 2:39Speaker 1: that's it. I can't tell you as anything else else.
- 2:42Speaker 1: You know, I've always had a strong work ethic. My
- 2:45Speaker 1: father put that in me. My father's conversations with me
- 2:48Speaker 1: growing up was always constantly about work hard, don't be lazy,
- 2:53Speaker 1: be a Man, do what you say you're gonna do.
- 2:55Speaker 1: YadA YadA, YadA, YadA YadA. Man. I was so tired
- 2:58Speaker 1: of my father at times. I was going to, Man,
- 3:00Speaker 1: what is with this dude right here? Man, every time
- 3:03Speaker 1: we have a conversation, it's got to be about work.
- 3:05Speaker 1: It's got to be about, you know, man, doing your best,
- 3:09Speaker 1: trying hard, you know, working, being honest, do what you
- 3:13Speaker 1: say you're gonna do. But that was his mission. I
- 3:17Speaker 1: can't tell you how much I appreciate that now. I
- 3:21Speaker 1: can't even I can't even put it into words when
- 3:23Speaker 1: I think about my old man and what he was
- 3:27Speaker 1: to me, and I just saw, Man, I'm so grateful
- 3:31Speaker 1: for that balance I had in my life. And then
- 3:34Speaker 1: my father was a fighter. He fought on the weekends.
- 3:39Speaker 1: You know. My father used to come home with his
- 3:42Speaker 1: with his clothes toe off of him. He put a
- 3:45Speaker 1: fresh shirt on, and he go back. My mom used
- 3:47Speaker 1: to talking about my father fighting all the times. Nick,
- 3:50Speaker 1: why you're always fighting? You know a little bit of
- 3:53Speaker 1: that rubbed off on me too, you know that that
- 3:55Speaker 1: kind of got into me and I didn't understand that either.
- 3:59Speaker 1: But then on the same turn, my mother was a
- 4:01Speaker 1: Sunday school teacher for forty years, so her conversation was
- 4:05Speaker 1: never about fighting or anything. It was all about love
- 4:07Speaker 1: and understanding and doing another that you would add them
- 4:10Speaker 1: do under you. My mom was a Sunday school teacher,
- 4:12Speaker 1: so I learned about faith. I had to go to
- 4:15Speaker 1: Sunday school, prayer meeting, Bible study, young people meeting, choir rehearsal.
- 4:20Speaker 1: You know, I was a churchman so much I was
- 4:22Speaker 1: actually looking that's got to be an alternative to this,
- 4:26Speaker 1: you know, I want, you know, And I was a
- 4:28Speaker 1: little kid even I was thinking at one point, maybe
- 4:31Speaker 1: all the looking all because it's got to be something
- 4:33Speaker 1: cooler than this going on every day. It got that
- 4:37Speaker 1: crazy for me. But the balance between those two people
- 4:40Speaker 1: created who I am today. And I want you to
- 4:43Speaker 1: understand that the things that you are in your past
- 4:47Speaker 1: have helped create who you are today. If you view
- 4:50Speaker 1: it the right way, everything that has happened to you
- 4:55Speaker 1: in your past has happened to you for a reason
- 4:59Speaker 1: and as you for the good if you view it
- 5:03Speaker 1: that way. But if you, on the other hand, or
- 5:07Speaker 1: a type of person who can't move forward because you
- 5:10Speaker 1: are allowing your past to stop you from having your future,
- 5:16Speaker 1: then you, my friend, are doing a disservice to your life.
- 5:21Speaker 1: You are not honoring God's blessings. You are not taking
- 5:25Speaker 1: advantage of the gain, knowledge, wisdom, and experience of your life. Example,
- 5:33Speaker 1: if you are a woman and you are always talking
- 5:39Speaker 1: about a formal relationship, what he did to me. If
- 5:44Speaker 1: he had not did this to me, I wouldn't be
- 5:47Speaker 1: in this place today. I thought I had a man. Nah,
- 5:52Speaker 1: I ain't got no man a la la la la la.
- 5:57Speaker 1: If you know he came along and I was doing
- 6:00Speaker 1: just swell, he just came in and he just lied
- 6:04Speaker 1: to me. He lied to me. Now that he did
- 6:07Speaker 1: this to me, Then he cheated, then he left. All
- 6:11Speaker 1: of that that you're saying can very well be true.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Have you thought that maybe maybe somewhere in God's infinite wisdom,
- 6:25Speaker 1: that he knew that you had made a mistake in
- 6:29Speaker 1: picking him anyway? Maybe he knew you had made a
- 6:34Speaker 1: mistake in saying yes or I do to him anyway,
- 6:38Speaker 1: or come on move in? And so what he did
- 6:43Speaker 1: was based on your decision now to say yes, I
- 6:48Speaker 1: do or come on let's move in together. That was
- 6:51Speaker 1: your decisions. You ain't go to him about this one.
- 6:54Speaker 1: You made this decision. Based on that decision and all
- 6:59Speaker 1: the negative things that started happening, he allowed you to
- 7:03Speaker 1: get away from it. Now how you got away from it?
- 7:06Speaker 1: It's always not the choice of ours. See, you stuck
- 7:11Speaker 1: on the fact that he left, that he walked out.
- 7:14Speaker 1: But let me share this with you. When he was there,
- 7:17Speaker 1: How good was he to you? How good was he
- 7:20Speaker 1: for you? See, you got to you got to stare.
- 7:24Speaker 1: You got to look at the blessing. The blessing is.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Now you are on your own. Now you walk in
- 7:30Speaker 1: your house. Ain't nobody in there with a disruptive spirit.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Now you go home. You could take your clothes off,
- 7:37Speaker 1: walk around like you want to. Now you go home,
- 7:40Speaker 1: you can sit down and look at TV or catch
- 7:43Speaker 1: your breath if you want to. Your kids don't have
- 7:48Speaker 1: to see y'all arguing all the time. Have you looked
- 7:51Speaker 1: at the blessing in it? But now if you're gonna
- 7:55Speaker 1: keep looking at the negative, then guess what. Now you
- 7:58Speaker 1: can't move forward because you keep allowing your pass to
- 8:04Speaker 1: keep you from moving forward. If God has bought you
- 8:07Speaker 1: through it, why don't you move on from it? Look,
- 8:12Speaker 1: you got through it. He gone, He ain't coming back.
- 8:15Speaker 1: He got somebody else, So you're gonna sit there and
- 8:18Speaker 1: just keep tripping costs. He gone and he got somebody else.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Ain't pick yourself up. Thank God for the blessing. It
- 8:26Speaker 1: didn't feel like a blessing. Why you was going through it,
- 8:29Speaker 1: and all the pain of him leaving and the divorce
- 8:32Speaker 1: and all that messed you up? Got it when you
- 8:35Speaker 1: get through it, all of that. You ain't the first
- 8:37Speaker 1: one being left. You ain't the first woman been divorced.
- 8:41Speaker 1: You ain't the first one been in a bad relationship.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Pick yourself up, Thank God for the blessing, and move
- 8:48Speaker 1: forward in your life, because maybe when you quit complaining,
- 8:53Speaker 1: maybe you'll find out that God has something in store
- 8:57Speaker 1: for you that he wants you to have, but he
- 8:59Speaker 1: can't can't give it to you if you ain't grateful.
- 9:02Speaker 1: So God gives you a blessing, but because you don't
- 9:05Speaker 1: see it as a blessing, you ain't grateful for it. Now,
- 9:08Speaker 1: guess what, You steady asking God to do something for you,
- 9:12Speaker 1: but you ain't thanking him for what he's done for you,
- 9:15Speaker 1: but you steady wanting him to do more. How does
- 9:18Speaker 1: that work? How does that work? Man? That he should
- 9:21Speaker 1: keep on giving you things when you ain't even working
- 9:24Speaker 1: with the stuff he didn't gave you. And I don't know,
- 9:28Speaker 1: and I'm just I'm just using that one example. It
- 9:30Speaker 1: could go for me and too, vice versa, and so
- 9:33Speaker 1: on and so far. I'm just using that as an example.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Now while I laid on that one so long, you
- 9:39Speaker 1: take that out with God. That's all just three. I
- 9:42Speaker 1: ain't pointing fingers that nobody in nothing because I've been
- 9:45Speaker 1: guilty on both sides of the coin. Who am I?
- 9:49Speaker 1: But I'm just sharing with you what I had to do.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I had to learn to stop allowing my past to
- 9:55Speaker 1: interfere with my future. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, here
- 10:03Speaker 1: is the good news. Because of God's grace and mercy,
- 10:07Speaker 1: I'm back all the way back. Ain't nobody like me?
- 10:16Speaker 1: I'm you know what, when they said I was the
- 10:19Speaker 1: one and only they was not lying, that is, but
- 10:23Speaker 1: one of me. Now, first of all, before I get started,
- 10:26Speaker 1: I want to thank the crew for holding it down,
- 10:29Speaker 1: giving me the little breather that I needed. Thank you.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Thank you for doing your job, serving the people, doing
- 10:37Speaker 1: your duty, filling your obligation, earning your check. But dog
- 10:42Speaker 1: go on it. Yeah, here I go. Well, it's good
- 10:50Speaker 1: to be back, man, Not really, but it is. You know,
- 10:56Speaker 1: it's good to be back, but it was. It's good
- 10:59Speaker 1: to be off too. It's just it's I'm in a
- 11:02Speaker 1: conflict right now. I want to be happy, but I'm sad.
- 11:05Speaker 1: But I'm happy to be back. But I'm sad I'm back,
- 11:08Speaker 1: but I'm glad I'm back too. You're appreciate it. Yeah,
- 11:12Speaker 1: I appreciate God giving me a job, an opportunity and
- 11:16Speaker 1: life support and all that. And so I'm back. Let's
- 11:19Speaker 1: just get it on, Junior. I don't know if anything
- 11:22Speaker 1: been on your mind, but just say it. Let me
- 11:25Speaker 1: get it out of the way. Do you see my face? Yeah?
- 11:30Speaker 1: I see. You understand what I'm going through. No, not
- 11:34Speaker 1: really see here. I am trying thirty days in, just
- 11:38Speaker 1: being married by thirty days man, and you gonna just
- 11:42Speaker 1: choose that time to come up missing. But you okay
- 11:46Speaker 1: with it. I'm glad to be back, abe. So I
- 11:49Speaker 1: ain't got nothing to do with your man. I ain't
- 11:50Speaker 1: got problem. Yeah, I ain't got nothing to do with
- 11:52Speaker 1: your marriage. I'm not in that, okay. I got my
- 11:55Speaker 1: own situation I got to contend with, Okay, what why
- 11:59Speaker 1: would you want to counsel me? And they leave soon
- 12:02Speaker 1: after I give it you just because you have to
- 12:04Speaker 1: practice the counseling, junior. See you, let me tell you
- 12:08Speaker 1: something I've been doing. The coach can coach. But at
- 12:11Speaker 1: one point in time, you got to get out on
- 12:13Speaker 1: field and run the plate. So now let get to
- 12:16Speaker 1: run the plate. But let me show you what I've
- 12:18Speaker 1: been doing. So you understand, cause she's been tackling your ass.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Now you mad at me? Yeah, you ain't missing, You
- 12:24Speaker 1: ain't scored on the plate. Do you understand why I
- 12:27Speaker 1: watched all three episodes of Lord of the Rings trying
- 12:31Speaker 1: to keep my ring on? What I mean? Why I've
- 12:35Speaker 1: been watching Lord of the Rings trying to keep my
- 12:38Speaker 1: ring and your ass just happy to be back that
- 12:40Speaker 1: you love me. That's a good ass movie, man. Them
- 12:44Speaker 1: little hobbits with them big ass head feet that can
- 12:46Speaker 1: step on the mountains without no shoes on. I'm good
- 12:49Speaker 1: as a movie, right, but you get but please know
- 12:52Speaker 1: they're white though they are white, because the ain't nowhere
- 12:54Speaker 1: to wear black people. We have to hass shoes stepping
- 12:58Speaker 1: on rocking from dogles, and so I gotta have some
- 13:02Speaker 1: damn shoes on, and I have got to shave the
- 13:06Speaker 1: hair off the top of this foot. I cannot look
- 13:08Speaker 1: down there and see that hair on top of this foot.
- 13:11Speaker 1: I have toes. Yeah, I can have a little knuckle hair,
- 13:15Speaker 1: but I can't have hal on the top of my foot.
- 13:17Speaker 1: K Yeah, y'all can have some knuckle hair, but I
- 13:22Speaker 1: cannot have hair on the top of my foot. Man,
- 13:25Speaker 1: glad to be back, Sherley Strawberry collar for real, Mississippi
- 13:30Speaker 1: Monica Junior nephew time it was happening to y'all. I'm
- 13:35Speaker 1: welcome back. Steve coming up at thirty two minutes after
- 13:38Speaker 1: the hour, run that prank back with the nephew right
- 13:41Speaker 1: after this you're listening show, It's time now to start
- 13:47Speaker 1: your morning off with the nephew and run that prank back.
- 13:50Speaker 1: What you got for his nav? I got oak Triosa
- 13:54Speaker 1: trank of all times, got dog if you would Hello, Hello,
- 14:03Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Marvin Police speaking Marvin High. I'm
- 14:07Speaker 1: calling you from doctor's office. I'm actually the lab technician.
- 14:11Speaker 1: UM and you you came in and I got it physical.
- 14:13Speaker 1: I guess about a couple of weeks ago. Yeah, okay,
- 14:16Speaker 1: and my understanding this is for your for your occupation. Correct, Yeah, okay,
- 14:20Speaker 1: you're what do you do for a living when you're
- 14:22Speaker 1: a h Okay, now I was giving you a call
- 14:26Speaker 1: about I'm here looking at your records and all the
- 14:29Speaker 1: testings that you actually went through. Um wow, let's see
- 14:33Speaker 1: have you had any Have you had any activity or
- 14:35Speaker 1: any problems around your naval area? No? Fine, okay, saying
- 14:41Speaker 1: all right, h yeah, everything's fine. But I mean if
- 14:44Speaker 1: you haven't had any any type of nothing, no breakout
- 14:48Speaker 1: or anything around your navel or whatsoever. No about my nave.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Now everything's going straight, man, Okay, see what's going on? Man?
- 14:57Speaker 1: What's happening? Okay? Actually, you've been diagnosed with um oak
- 15:02Speaker 1: triositis and oristriositis is actually a fungus that comes out
- 15:06Speaker 1: of South America. And you have no activity whatsoever around
- 15:11Speaker 1: your NAVELO. It's otriositis, sir. And what what that is is?
- 15:20Speaker 1: Actually you're you if you haven't had it yet you
- 15:22Speaker 1: say you haven't had any activity. There's gonna be like
- 15:25Speaker 1: a small little tree that's gonna be growing from your
- 15:28Speaker 1: navel and it gets about six inches long and it
- 15:31Speaker 1: probably bears about probably about twenty five to thirty leaves
- 15:34Speaker 1: on it, but it's very small. You see a tree
- 15:38Speaker 1: gonna be growing out my navel. It's gonna be a
- 15:40Speaker 1: small tree. And Uh, what's gonna happen is I'm gonna
- 15:44Speaker 1: have to get you to come back in, probably in
- 15:45Speaker 1: the next month. We're gonna need you to come in
- 15:47Speaker 1: so we can check it out. But it's got to
- 15:49Speaker 1: grow its fullest potential before we can actually do anything
- 15:52Speaker 1: to it. Na. I can't come in and on mind,
- 15:54Speaker 1: I got to come in today. Man, somebody got so
- 15:57Speaker 1: we we try to resolve. Man. I'm tryna get married. Man. Well,
- 16:02Speaker 1: we can't. It has to grow its fullest potential, sir.
- 16:04Speaker 1: And the full term is actually like about four weeks
- 16:08Speaker 1: before we can actual man. I'm not waiting for those
- 16:09Speaker 1: four weeks. Man. Somebody got to come till me something right, Nah, Man,
- 16:13Speaker 1: I ain't gonna go married. Man. Have to fly to time,
- 16:15Speaker 1: man and have something going out of my neighbor. Man.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Y'all going crazy, man, sir, Oh criosa, this is something
- 16:21Speaker 1: that's very rare. We're actually getting this assignment from overseas
- 16:24Speaker 1: in South America on how to treat this. Man. I
- 16:26Speaker 1: don't give it down where is it, Man, somebody's gonna
- 16:29Speaker 1: have to come give me some help, right, nah, Man,
- 16:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna get ready to get married. Man, I'm not
- 16:33Speaker 1: gonna be putting up with it. Man, Somebody in this
- 16:36Speaker 1: office main't got to come down and then do something
- 16:37Speaker 1: for me. Man, And what you say, get it? If
- 16:40Speaker 1: you said I can cut it out myself. So the
- 16:42Speaker 1: best I can do is probably trim it a bit,
- 16:44Speaker 1: you know, and maybe knock a few leaves off. But
- 16:46Speaker 1: I cannot touch the full stock at all. Man. You
- 16:49Speaker 1: can cut this for the bad day, Do something, sir,
- 16:52Speaker 1: if you cut it right. You cannot, sir. If you
- 16:55Speaker 1: cut it, there's a possibility of hemorrhaging, and you're gonna
- 16:58Speaker 1: really create a bigger problem than what you have already. Man,
- 17:02Speaker 1: I'm trying to get this school or dot. Man. I'm
- 17:05Speaker 1: gonna get married in two weeks. Man, we're gonna fly
- 17:07Speaker 1: to Jamaican. It can't now. Somebody can do this for me.
- 17:13Speaker 1: So you cannot pull it out. You're gonna create, good Man,
- 17:17Speaker 1: You're gonna create a bigger problem if you try to
- 17:19Speaker 1: pull it out, sir. Problems are already out. I'm trying
- 17:23Speaker 1: to get this problem. Man, give me tell me a
- 17:25Speaker 1: big hospital. Ain't now hit me. You want me to
- 17:29Speaker 1: do that? Man, It's not something man, I poke out
- 17:32Speaker 1: of my summer and you're turning in at you can do? Man, sir,
- 17:36Speaker 1: Oak triositis is not something that we treat all the time.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Like I said, it hails from South America, so we
- 17:41Speaker 1: got I don't give a from Great Britain. Somebody for
- 17:46Speaker 1: me to come down and help me pull this man, Sir.
- 17:49Speaker 1: I understand what you're going through, but we have to
- 17:51Speaker 1: let it grow. It's full term, which is four weeks, sir,
- 17:55Speaker 1: the full root of it having to grow. Man, I
- 17:57Speaker 1: ain't swing ro man. I'm gonna go in right. Man,
- 18:00Speaker 1: y'all gonna have to do something. Man, Sure, there's nothing
- 18:03Speaker 1: we can do. We can probably trim it a little bit.
- 18:06Speaker 1: The trim, get some training, song man, do something, sir.
- 18:11Speaker 1: There's nothing we can do at this point but sit
- 18:13Speaker 1: back and wait and let it grow. It's full term, Okay.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Can we get you doing the waiting? Man? Somebody helped
- 18:18Speaker 1: me right, nah, man, Sir. Can we get an appointment
- 18:21Speaker 1: for you in the next four to five weeks and
- 18:23Speaker 1: when we do that, you got to get a pointm
- 18:24Speaker 1: for me to dating. I'm gonna give manner. Man, I'm
- 18:27Speaker 1: gonna fly to Jamaican. Man. I can't have them chicking
- 18:30Speaker 1: out of me. I can't see it the aport. Man,
- 18:33Speaker 1: you're going embarrassing me like that, Man, I ticking out
- 18:36Speaker 1: my neighbor. Sir, I understand it, and like I said,
- 18:39Speaker 1: oak triositis is very rare, and it's it's something that
- 18:42Speaker 1: we haven't treated that many times here in the States,
- 18:44Speaker 1: but overseas, the message that we're getting is that we
- 18:47Speaker 1: need to let it grow. It's full term, so we man,
- 18:49Speaker 1: tell me, ain't nobody in the mirrors got what the man?
- 18:54Speaker 1: It's oak triositis, sir, So I can get it. I
- 18:58Speaker 1: don't nobody else in the mirror. You got it, sir.
- 19:00Speaker 1: I could not believe that you were coming up with
- 19:03Speaker 1: autriositis here in the States. It's it's something very rarely
- 19:06Speaker 1: seen here. There's been two people in the past has
- 19:09Speaker 1: been diagnosed with this and they actually passed away. So
- 19:11Speaker 1: now you tell them dive and you're gonna me three weeks. Man,
- 19:16Speaker 1: I'm coming down the a day. Man, somebody could do
- 19:19Speaker 1: something me, sir, there's nothing that we can do today
- 19:22Speaker 1: until four to five weeks or I gotta go get married.
- 19:26Speaker 1: I'm fine to Jamaica, man, I said, Man, I'm hearing
- 19:30Speaker 1: what you're saying, but I can't do anything if you
- 19:33Speaker 1: don't see the tree already coming out of the navel yet,
- 19:38Speaker 1: somebody got to do something. Mind. Now, I'm saying what

- 22:04Speaker 1: My mom did not pay him. She expected me to
- 22:08Speaker 1: pay him. He got mad about her not paying him,
- 22:11Speaker 1: and he told me everything. Should I bring it up
- 22:14Speaker 1: to her? Well, first of all, you need to know
- 22:18Speaker 1: that a lot of old people sleep with the air
- 22:20Speaker 1: conditioned man. Really, really, that's that's kind of regular. A

- 22:43Speaker 1: he was thinking money and that. But then all she
- 22:46Speaker 1: said was this is good enough. Now all you did
- 22:49Speaker 1: was fix my as and I put some heat on you.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Go on, fat shange. Fact change ain't no robbery. You

- 24:24Speaker 1: way out though. I ain't like some good ass flavor
- 24:28Speaker 1: to kill you. A lot of salt, all right. Moving
- 24:33Speaker 1: on to Carmela and Pensacola. Carmela says, I'm forty four
- 24:37Speaker 1: years old and my husband is thirty. My husband's sister
- 24:41Speaker 1: and I have been friends since kindergarten, and she is
- 24:43Speaker 1: not happy that I'm with her brother. When she comes
- 24:46Speaker 1: to our house, she won't speak to me. I told
- 24:48Speaker 1: my husband that he's got to stop her from doing that.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Should he be loyal to me or her? Well, listen
- 24:57Speaker 1: to me, Carmela. I don't know how to hear you.
- 25:00Speaker 1: This called meller. But she got an attitude with you

- 25:11Speaker 1: Are thein't married? Did they get married? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 25:14Speaker 1: yes the husband is thirty. Well see that's your house.
- 25:19Speaker 1: See now you got every right to be respected in
- 25:22Speaker 1: your home. Right, So whether he love to her or not,
- 25:26Speaker 1: you can check cart. Look, you don't come in here
- 25:29Speaker 1: and don't speak to me out because you know what
- 25:32Speaker 1: you what you're not gonna do is come in my
- 25:34Speaker 1: house and do disrespectful to me. You show can't come
- 25:39Speaker 1: in here and disrespect Margie. She not man. Please stop

- 26:04Speaker 1: she's not speaking now, you know, you know, the Lord
- 26:08Speaker 1: didn't speak to me either, but scripture for you know,
- 26:12Speaker 1: shell and try to you know, be kind to you.
- 26:15Speaker 1: You need to go and call his house so you
- 26:17Speaker 1: get it into face, all right. Moving on to Melinda
- 26:25Speaker 1: and Tea Neck, Melinda says, I've been with the same
- 26:28Speaker 1: man for twenty two years and we could never get
- 26:31Speaker 1: married because he was already married. Now that his wife
- 26:35Speaker 1: has died, this is the last one. Now that his
- 26:37Speaker 1: wife has died, he wants to marry me, and I
- 26:40Speaker 1: don't want to be his main woman because he'll get
- 26:42Speaker 1: another side piece and cheat on me with her. Am
- 26:45Speaker 1: I right or wrong? Can this man be faithful? What? Yeah?
- 26:51Speaker 1: That logic right? Uh huh. Yeah. She doesn't want to
- 26:54Speaker 1: marry him because she doesn't want to be the main
- 26:56Speaker 1: woman because he'll get a side piece and cheat on her.
- 27:01Speaker 1: This this is how you've been living your life for
- 27:03Speaker 1: twenty two years. That's how she thinks. Yeah. So now
- 27:09Speaker 1: that's okay, okay, okay, you're right. Yeah not what yeah?
- 27:18Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I was looking forward to. Yeah. Well, first
- 27:24Speaker 1: of all, first of all, if you're gonna live your
- 27:27Speaker 1: life based on what else fear h the man she died.
- 27:35Speaker 1: The man wants to marry you. You don't want to
- 27:38Speaker 1: marry him because you don't want to be the main one,
- 27:40Speaker 1: because he'll get a side piece. Can I do you
- 27:43Speaker 1: know if he got a side piece, he already got one.
- 27:46Speaker 1: He wasn't waiting on her to die. He had you
- 27:50Speaker 1: while she was living, right, He ain't waiting on nobody
- 27:53Speaker 1: to die. To make no move? So what should she do?
- 27:59Speaker 1: You was the move? And if he had made another move,
- 28:02Speaker 1: you don't know about that, that's gonna make no So
- 28:07Speaker 1: so can he be faithful? Yeah, he can be faithful. Look,
- 28:11Speaker 1: because a person's in a bad marriage and get something
- 28:14Speaker 1: else that don't make him a bad person or her
- 28:16Speaker 1: a bad person. Ain't nobody feeling to live in no misery?
- 28:19Speaker 1: Ain't nobody feel to do that? Man every day? Wait,
- 28:24Speaker 1: but he cheated for twenty two years, Steve, she died
- 28:30Speaker 1: a woman kill death. Do us part? He stayed with Huh?
- 28:38Speaker 1: He stayed with up. You better do your vials pard,
- 28:46Speaker 1: I'm better not fitting to be faithful. Don't listen to
- 28:52Speaker 1: this newly wed gonna stay married to you? You better
- 28:56Speaker 1: do your vial dog all the way yea, na, I'm
- 29:01Speaker 1: gonna marry you. Well, I don't know her all right,
- 29:10Speaker 1: Thank you, Ciella. Welcome back. Coming up to the top
- 29:13Speaker 1: of the hour, ras for you right after this, you're listening. Well,
- 29:25Speaker 1: did you guys get a chance to see the movie
- 29:27Speaker 1: Till over the weekend? Of course we all know, yeah,
- 29:31Speaker 1: we all know. The story of Emmett Till Uh such
- 29:34Speaker 1: a sad story and it was a fourteen year old
- 29:37Speaker 1: boy living in Chicago back in nineteen fifty five, and
- 29:40Speaker 1: he went to Mississippi, like a lot of kids around
- 29:44Speaker 1: that time did. From the city, they would go to
- 29:47Speaker 1: the South to visit their cousins. He went to visit
- 29:50Speaker 1: his cousin and he was brutally lynched there. His mother,
- 29:54Speaker 1: Mamie Till Mobley, turned her loss into a legacy, though,
- 29:58Speaker 1: and that's what the movie Till is all of about.
- 30:00Speaker 1: It's a true story of how courageous Emmett Till's mother
- 30:03Speaker 1: was back in nineteen fifty five. Now, this story is
- 30:06Speaker 1: told from Emmett's mother's point of view, and that's what
- 30:10Speaker 1: makes the movie Till is so unique because of that,
- 30:15Speaker 1: after losing her only child, maybe Till Mobley showed incredible strength.
- 30:21Speaker 1: She turned her pain into purpose. Maybe knew the power
- 30:25Speaker 1: of an image and made sure that the world saw
- 30:28Speaker 1: what happened to her son. Till is a movie by
- 30:31Speaker 1: black creators that made a conscious choice not to show
- 30:35Speaker 1: violence toward black people in this movie, so the movie
- 30:38Speaker 1: does not depict Emmett Till's lynching at all. It is
- 30:42Speaker 1: incredibly important to continue to tell the truth about what
- 30:46Speaker 1: happened to Emmett Till. The Emmett Till Anti Lynching Bill
- 30:50Speaker 1: was just passed this year, just this year, in twenty
- 30:55Speaker 1: twenty two. This is sixty seven years after his murder.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Everyone needs to know the story of Emmett Till, So
- 31:03Speaker 1: go see the movie Till. This is our history, absolutely, Shirley. Absolutely.
- 31:09Speaker 1: I'm going to take my daughter, she's fourteen years old.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Like you said, this is our history, and this is
- 31:16Speaker 1: something that you know, they're not teaching our children in school,
- 31:20Speaker 1: the history part of it. In an anti lynching bill
- 31:23Speaker 1: just past this year. That's a moment in history too.
- 31:27Speaker 1: So this is a must see movie. This is something
- 31:30Speaker 1: that you have to go see. We have to continue
- 31:33Speaker 1: to educate our children so they'll know our history, know
- 31:37Speaker 1: our past, present, and our future. There are our future
- 31:41Speaker 1: leaders of tomorrow. So again, Till is a must see movie.
- 31:45Speaker 1: I can't wait to go see it. Oh yeah. In
- 31:49Speaker 1: other entertainment news, Stevie Wonder did an interview with R
- 31:52Speaker 1: and B singer Ari Lennox on our home station in
- 31:56Speaker 1: La kJ l H shut up to KJLH and Stevie
- 32:00Speaker 1: Wonder and now. Stevie asked Starry Lennox who is she
- 32:03Speaker 1: currently in love with? Take a listen, this is about you,
- 32:07Speaker 1: and I just want to you know that. UM love

- 32:16Speaker 1: Thank you. I like the innuendows know all that. Thank you?
- 32:25Speaker 1: Can I ask you a question? Oh my yes? So
- 32:28Speaker 1: who are you gonna marry? Oh? I don't know what?
- 32:31Speaker 1: In hell? I? Who are you in love with? The music? Right? No?
- 32:44Speaker 1: Don't about your dogs? Do? But yeah, Stevie shot yeah.
- 33:01Speaker 1: It sounds like he was kind of a girl. Hadn't
- 33:04Speaker 1: got in the conversation with her. Nosey ass. Stevie was
- 33:08Speaker 1: pushing up on Steve. He was, so, you're right, let
- 33:13Speaker 1: me ask you something. You know, how what do you
- 33:15Speaker 1: what do you know? What you with? You know? He was?
- 33:17Speaker 1: He was on it man, and she would break it.
- 33:20Speaker 1: I heard it in no fo she was in, Yeah,
- 33:26Speaker 1: Stevie was on it. And then the old CB in
- 33:29Speaker 1: the background. She could jump all in now all in
- 33:32Speaker 1: the damn weight. Well, here to your music, girl, don't
- 33:36Speaker 1: nobody said that. Some of the comments on social media, Steve.
- 33:41Speaker 1: They were saying that Stevie Wonder is a smooth talker,
- 33:44Speaker 1: just like you're saying. And then uh, someone said, sounds
- 33:47Speaker 1: like Stevie was shooting his shot. And then one person
- 33:50Speaker 1: you always have said this, Steve. One person said he
- 33:53Speaker 1: ain't blind, not blind. Well, I'm telling y'all right now,
- 33:59Speaker 1: I have been saying for y'all. He ain't got no stick,
- 34:02Speaker 1: he ain't got no dog, he ain't got none of
- 34:06Speaker 1: the stuff people got. You've always said that, dressing me,
- 34:12Speaker 1: matching in everything, raiding his own hall. Man, he almost
- 34:19Speaker 1: stole your car. You remember that time he did that? Yes, Yes,
- 34:24Speaker 1: we had a radio show in the LA on the
- 34:26Speaker 1: nineteenth floor. Steven was supposed to do the radio show
- 34:29Speaker 1: that morning. He was late and I get a phone
- 34:32Speaker 1: call on my on my cell phone and it's Stevie.
- 34:35Speaker 1: I said, Stevie, where you at? Man? He said, look
- 34:38Speaker 1: out the window. I looked out the window. He was
- 34:41Speaker 1: sitting in my brand new truck waving. He was in
- 34:46Speaker 1: the driving seat. What I'm on the nineteenth floor. I
- 34:51Speaker 1: looked down. He said, you see this truck, your new truck,
- 34:54Speaker 1: the black one. I'm driving it. He had his hand
- 34:58Speaker 1: out the window waving. Said hey, man, you don't get
- 35:02Speaker 1: your but he was moving the truck a little bit.
- 35:05Speaker 1: The truck was moving through the story. I say, man,
- 35:09Speaker 1: you don't get your blind ass out much. Trying to
- 35:15Speaker 1: stay man. Steve told me one time on TV were
- 35:18Speaker 1: doing a show together. He said, man, you show got
- 35:21Speaker 1: on the cheap ass suit. I said, wait a minute, man,
- 35:24Speaker 1: I thought you was blind. He said, I know how
- 35:27Speaker 1: cheap fabric sound classic. That's classic. Yeah, a legend, right,
- 35:38Speaker 1: great fun fun, fun times. Yeah. Well, coming up in
- 35:43Speaker 1: about twenty minutes after the hour, In case you haven't heard,
- 35:45Speaker 1: Steve Harvey is back in the building right Tuesday. So
- 35:53Speaker 1: we got to talk about voting. We had we talked
- 35:56Speaker 1: about voting. It's extremely important this mid term election coming
- 36:00Speaker 1: up in November eight. So we'll talk about that coming
- 36:03Speaker 1: up in twenty minutes after the hour right here on
- 36:05Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to show. So
- 36:10Speaker 1: every Tuesday, we here at the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 36:14Speaker 1: are going to remind you to please get out and vote.
- 36:17Speaker 1: This is not a drill, people. Early voting started. Yes, yeah,
- 36:23Speaker 1: let's do Let's do it every day every Tuesday. Were
- 36:27Speaker 1: doing it every day. I love every day. I love
- 36:31Speaker 1: I love it too. Early voting started yesterday in Georgia,
- 36:35Speaker 1: and last night the Atlanta Press Club hosted in a
- 36:37Speaker 1: debate between Democratic gubernatorial Canada Stacy Abrams and Governor Bryant
- 36:43Speaker 1: kemp Um. This is the nation's most watched governor's race,
- 36:48Speaker 1: the one going on in Georgia. Also last week, former
- 36:51Speaker 1: President Obama, President Biden, and First Lady Doctor Jill Biden.
- 36:55Speaker 1: We're all in Atlanta campaigning for Abrahams. There is also
- 36:59Speaker 1: a sent a showdown between Democratic candidate Raphael Warnock and
- 37:05Speaker 1: Republican Herschel Walker. You missed that debate it happens well,
- 37:09Speaker 1: I saw some of it on clips and stuff. Let
- 37:12Speaker 1: me say this to everybody, do not be deceived with
- 37:17Speaker 1: this polling information. They are very tricky. Voter suppression is
- 37:23Speaker 1: alive and well around this country. They are working very
- 37:27Speaker 1: hard in Georgia, but we got some important stuff going
- 37:29Speaker 1: on in Philly, the same stuff going on in all
- 37:32Speaker 1: these markets that we are in Virginia. It's going down everywhere.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Listen to me, y'all. They are trying to say that
- 37:40Speaker 1: Stacey Abams is trailing. The reason that they want to
- 37:44Speaker 1: say that is because they know a lot of people go, well,
- 37:47Speaker 1: she losing. They no need to be going down there. No,
- 37:50Speaker 1: we have to go down there and vote. We have
- 37:53Speaker 1: to vote. Let me ask you something, when the last
- 37:56Speaker 1: time they polled your ass, anybody polled you? Old us?
- 38:03Speaker 1: So quit wearing about them damn poles and go and
- 38:06Speaker 1: vote like we're supposed to. Yeah, let me talk to
- 38:10Speaker 1: y'all about miss Stacey Abers for a minute. All of
- 38:13Speaker 1: y'all that's under this delusional thing that Governor Kemp is
- 38:19Speaker 1: a governor of diversity because he'd gave somebody a little
- 38:22Speaker 1: punk ass contract to do something. Don't get it twisted.
- 38:27Speaker 1: Don't get it twisted. Listen, man, all y'all. Cast is
- 38:30Speaker 1: out here, that's wrapping, that's out here talking. That's in
- 38:33Speaker 1: the entertainment business. Look, man, get get the facts together.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Get your facts together. Kemp has never been a diverse governor.
- 38:44Speaker 1: He has never cared about you. If you knew the
- 38:47Speaker 1: funds that were sitting on his desk, that would change
- 38:50Speaker 1: the lives of people in our community, that would have
- 38:53Speaker 1: kept that hospital open, that would have kept so many
- 38:57Speaker 1: things alive in our community. You wouldn't be for this man.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Get to the polls, everybody and vote for Stacey Abams
- 39:04Speaker 1: in Georgia. This is important that Barack OBAMAA came down
- 39:08Speaker 1: here to just come back. Get everybody on fire. We've
- 39:12Speaker 1: got to understand the importance of this election. All around
- 39:16Speaker 1: the country. We are voting in these mid terms in November.
- 39:19Speaker 1: We're showing up. Go to when we all vote dot
- 39:22Speaker 1: org and find out what you need to do early
- 39:24Speaker 1: voting to starting coming up in thirty four minutes after
- 39:28Speaker 1: the hour, we'll talk about an update. We'll talk about
- 39:31Speaker 1: your trip. Steve. How about that. We know you have
- 39:34Speaker 1: stories because you always do. Right after this you're listening
- 39:38Speaker 1: to show all right, So Steve, you've been away for
- 39:43Speaker 1: about a week or so. Now you just got back
- 39:45Speaker 1: today than a week a week, that's a long time.
- 39:51Speaker 1: With greatness, I was your k what happened? What's going on?
- 39:59Speaker 1: Well had to go to prayer. You don't really I
- 40:03Speaker 1: don't know how I'm would do the funny stories or
- 40:06Speaker 1: most of my stories from aggravating things happen. Yeah. Well,
- 40:13Speaker 1: the most activating thing having me was on the flight
- 40:17Speaker 1: from to Paris. Marjorie was in Paris already. I'm going
- 40:22Speaker 1: to Paris for her birthday. Where I'm flying from. I
- 40:28Speaker 1: ordered first class. They at the last minute they changed
- 40:32Speaker 1: the aircraft. So now the aircraft that's gone. It's two
- 40:35Speaker 1: fifteen in the morning. Now it's the only flight I
- 40:38Speaker 1: can get to to get to Paris in time for
- 40:41Speaker 1: her birthday. And now it has no first class. It's
- 40:44Speaker 1: just got business class. I said, okay, but now I
- 40:48Speaker 1: didn't got a custom that when I do fly on
- 40:52Speaker 1: these long flights that I'm in, these first class cabins
- 40:55Speaker 1: always fly the airlines Emirates and too hard that have
- 40:59Speaker 1: the doors close. Well, in business it don't have that.
- 41:04Speaker 1: So now I'm in I'm in business, just out and

- 41:43Speaker 1: and you know, I'm from the hood, so I could
- 41:45Speaker 1: just kind of feel I was sleeping facing the window,
- 41:48Speaker 1: and I could I was having a little a little
- 41:51Speaker 1: seat laid down almost in the bed, not quite. I

- 42:01Speaker 1: I've kind of sense something. I turned around and this
- 42:05Speaker 1: dude is standing over me, reaching over my little board,
- 42:11Speaker 1: and I said, say, man, what, Noah, he don't work here,
- 42:20Speaker 1: He's just a passenger. He in the seat next to me,
- 42:23Speaker 1: over across the aisle. He said, um, I'm sorry. I
- 42:27Speaker 1: was trying to cover you up. I noticed you was
- 42:30Speaker 1: covering what what? I cussed? This dude out so bad,
- 42:38Speaker 1: he said, I was trying to cover you up. I
- 42:41Speaker 1: noticed you weren't covered. To get sick, I said, mother blank.
- 42:48Speaker 1: I don't need no mother blanking by the mother. Yeah,
- 42:52Speaker 1: I don't, I said, dog, but dog no, no, See
- 42:57Speaker 1: he didn't touch me. He didn't touch me. He I

- 43:03Speaker 1: I don't need no blankety blank to help me cover
- 43:06Speaker 1: me to blank up? Who the blanks you? I said,
- 43:08Speaker 1: Joe ass over there in your seat. No, I'm up

- 43:22Speaker 1: it's the middle of the night. Most people will sleep.
- 43:25Speaker 1: But did he know who you are? Who? That's why
- 43:31Speaker 1: he wanted to tuck him in. That's why I'm almost sleep.
- 43:35Speaker 1: One time, Asian lady taking my picture, I say something

- 54:23Speaker 1: Strawberry Letto. Thank you nephew. Subjects Ain't no Sunshine when
- 54:28Speaker 1: She's gone. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a fifty eight year
- 54:32Speaker 1: old pastor and I'm single. My wife of twenty five
- 54:36Speaker 1: years cheated on me in my own house, so it
- 54:39Speaker 1: was a major embarrassment to me and my church. We
- 54:42Speaker 1: try to work it out, but after a few months
- 54:45Speaker 1: of another pastor counseling us, she let it be known
- 54:48Speaker 1: that she was not interested in staying with me. It
- 54:51Speaker 1: was a double whammy because she also left town right
- 54:54Speaker 1: after she told me she didn't want me. My life
- 54:57Speaker 1: is at a standstill because she doesn't want a divorce.
- 55:00Speaker 1: Sometimes when I call her, she'll talk to me like
- 55:03Speaker 1: she still loves me. Other Times she ignores my calls
- 55:07Speaker 1: and she will text me that she can't talk right now.
- 55:10Speaker 1: I think she is going through something and just needs
- 55:13Speaker 1: time away from me to get her life back on track.
- 55:16Speaker 1: My pastor friend that counseled us as advised me to
- 55:19Speaker 1: start the divorce process and move on with my life.
- 55:23Speaker 1: But I'm holding out hope that she returns to me.
- 55:26Speaker 1: My eighty two year old father's favorite song is Ain't
- 55:29Speaker 1: No sunshine when she's gone, and that is how I
- 55:32Speaker 1: feel every day. My parents have been married for close
- 55:36Speaker 1: to sixty years, and I want that same type of love.
- 55:39Speaker 1: If my wife needs a little time, that's just fine.
- 55:42Speaker 1: God can fix her heart, and I do believe that
- 55:45Speaker 1: she will come back to me. Some say I'm foolish,
- 55:48Speaker 1: but I say I am optimistic. Some say I shouldn't
- 55:51Speaker 1: take her back after she has done who knows what
- 55:53Speaker 1: with other men. But I'm all for forgiveness and redemption.
- 55:58Speaker 1: I have dealt with the shame and I still am
- 56:01Speaker 1: able to face my congregation. I often hear them laughing
- 56:04Speaker 1: and teasing me behind my back. But I'm telling you,
- 56:08Speaker 1: there ain't no sunshine when she's gone. I need your
- 56:11Speaker 1: honest advice on this one. Am I holding out hope
- 56:15Speaker 1: for a woman that won't ever come back to me? Well,
- 56:20Speaker 1: you're a pastor and a god fearing man of faith,
- 56:24Speaker 1: so I cannot in good faith tell you there's not
- 56:27Speaker 1: a chance that she'll come back to you. Because I
- 56:32Speaker 1: truly believe that God can perform miracles in the most
- 56:35Speaker 1: unbelievable situation, and this is one of those situations. This
- 56:39Speaker 1: is unbelievable. Amen. Amen, normally I would tell you to
- 56:44Speaker 1: watch what she does, not what she says. She's already
- 56:47Speaker 1: moved on, moved away. She's playing with you, toying with you.
- 56:51Speaker 1: You said that in the letter. I would say you're
- 56:53Speaker 1: wasting your time and you need to let her go.
- 56:55Speaker 1: You should let her go because she's certainly no longer
- 56:58Speaker 1: interested in being married to you. She's cheated on you,
- 57:01Speaker 1: she's lied, she's humiliated you in front of your church members,
- 57:05Speaker 1: and she keeps playing with you, like you said, and
- 57:08Speaker 1: you need to move on. You do. But even with
- 57:14Speaker 1: all of that, you still love her and you want
- 57:17Speaker 1: her back. You believe that God will make a way.
- 57:20Speaker 1: So who am I to argue with you and your faith.
- 57:23Speaker 1: I'm believing God for seemingly impossible things myself right now,
- 57:27Speaker 1: and only God knows how those things will end up. So,
- 57:31Speaker 1: as the man of God you are, I say, keep
- 57:33Speaker 1: being faithful, because He truly can turn things around in
- 57:36Speaker 1: your favor. I've seen it happen. I'm sure you have to.
- 57:40Speaker 1: I'm sure you have too. This is between you and God.
- 57:43Speaker 1: He can change your wife's heart. He can, he can
- 57:45Speaker 1: do it, He can do everything, He can do whatever, anything.
- 57:49Speaker 1: So I'm gonna be with you. I'm gonna believe with you. Okay,
- 57:53Speaker 1: look to him, Steve, Yeah, well let's share. I knew
- 57:58Speaker 1: you were gonna say that. Yeah, I'm back. Now, well, pastor,
- 58:04Speaker 1: I'm just gonna put it to you like this. Now.
- 58:07Speaker 1: You may be a fifty eight year old pastor, but
- 58:10Speaker 1: you rode in on this show. Your letter is to
- 58:15Speaker 1: the Strawberry letter. Now Shirley's advice. You can follow it
- 58:20Speaker 1: if you want to. My answer completely different. Ain't no
- 58:25Speaker 1: sunshine when she's gone? Well, hell, what was it doing
- 58:29Speaker 1: when she was there? See you know, y'all kill me, y'all? Okay, pastor,
- 58:33Speaker 1: here we go. Now, you fifty eight. Obviously I hadn't
- 58:36Speaker 1: been in some situations. You ain't. I'm sixty five, you
- 58:39Speaker 1: fifty eight. You're pastor, I ain't. But look a here,
- 58:43Speaker 1: though I'm single, you fifty eight year old pastor single?
- 58:47Speaker 1: Your wife of twenty five years cheated on me in
- 58:50Speaker 1: my own house? What so now? Based on that line,
- 58:55Speaker 1: what is the rest of this letter? Folk? I'm infused, bro.
- 59:03Speaker 1: I love to talk to you as a pastor, but
- 59:06Speaker 1: you didn't write the letter as a pastor. You wrote
- 59:10Speaker 1: the letter just as a regular dude, man, as we
- 59:13Speaker 1: all are, because when you're not pastoring the rest of
- 59:17Speaker 1: the time, you you one of us. Man cheated on
- 59:22Speaker 1: you in your own house. It was a major embarrassment
- 59:24Speaker 1: to me and my church. How to church find out
- 59:28Speaker 1: about it? Who told that? See this, y'all just gotta
- 59:33Speaker 1: be a little church man. I just walked in Praise
- 59:38Speaker 1: Lord Saints. Last night was Saturday. I walked in the
- 59:43Speaker 1: house last night and my wife was in there with
- 59:45Speaker 1: Deacon Roosevelt. I just wanted y'all to know what happened.
- 59:51Speaker 1: And God is good. Well, God is good, but she ain't.
- 59:57Speaker 1: We tried to work it out, but after a few
- 59:59Speaker 1: months of another past accounting us, she let it be
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: known she was not interested in staying with me. Okay,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: cool bye. It was a double whammy because she also
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: left town right after she told me she didn't want me.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Bye bye. Damn doc, what else you need? My life
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: is out of standstill because she don't want a divorce.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: What man, I'm confused, But when I come back, I'm
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: not gonna be confused. Pastor. I'm sorry. My answer is
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: not gonna be like Sherley's answer. Man, Man, here we go,
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: all right, Steve. Hang on, we'll have part two of
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: Steve's response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: The subject is ain't no sunshine when she's gone. We'll
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: get back into it right after that. You're listening show,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: The subject is, ain't no sunshine when she's gone? Well,
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: all right, here's the subject, ain't no sunshine when she's gone. Well,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: if it ain't no sunshine when she's gone, how was
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: it when she was there? Well, let's get into the
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: letter to find out. I'm a forty eight fifty eight
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: year old past and I'm single. My wife of twenty
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: five years cheated on me in my own house. What
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: is the rest of this letter? For this? Right there
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: the end? My wife of twenty five years? That's why
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: you single. I'm single? Now you twenty five years? You
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: cheat on me in my own house. Where's the police report?
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: How is that not attached to the damn letter? Because
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: the dude that come into my house, all pardoner, I
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: got something for him. I got something for him. I
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: won't be the woman, but I'll tell you what I'm
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: gonna stump you dog for coming in my house, though
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: not for being with my wife. For coming up in
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: my house thinking I'm that punk ass dude. You could
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: walk through with that in me. So that's what I'm
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: talking about. She out though I don't care nothing about that.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: It was a major embarrassment to me in my church.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: We tried to work it out, but after a few
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: months of another passing counselor, she let it be known
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: she was not interested in staying with me. Okay, it
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: was a double woman because she also left town right
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: after that. She told me she didn't want me. Okay, okay, dog,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: what else you need? My life is out of standstill
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: because she don't want a divorce. But y'all to you
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: single though, your life ain't ain't no standstill. Sometimes when
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: I call it, she'll talk to me like she still
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: loved me. Other Times she ignores my call and she
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: would text me that she can't talk right now. Why
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: you think that is passing? Huh? You text your wife
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: and she tells you she can't talk right now? Y'all,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: ain't she ain't take your kids with her? What's she doing? Man?
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Come on? I think she's going through something and just
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: needs some time. Away from me to get her life
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: back on track. She took the time away. She didn't move,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: she left town. She told you and the pastor she
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: don't want you. Dog, What is you? What is you
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: analyzing it for? Yeah? Dog going through something she doesn't
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: needs some time away. She didn't took some time. My pastor,
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: friend and counsel us advised me to start the divorce
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: process and move on with my life. But I'm holding
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: out hope that she returns to me for what what
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: you want her back for? Lady to your father's favorite
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: song is ain't no sunshine when she's gone? Do your
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: favorite song gonna be? But what's the weather light when
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: she's home? Ain't no sunshine when she's gone? Your song
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: gonna be? What's the weather lie when she's home? See?
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: And that's how I feel every day. My parents have
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: been married for close to sixty years. My parents have
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: been married close to sixty years, and I want that
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: same type of love. You don't have that type of love.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: Your dad ain't walked in the house and saw your
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: mama sleeping with somebody else in their house. I got
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: you want that type of love, but you don't have
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: that type man. If my wife needs a little time.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: That's just fine. God can fix her heart, and I
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: do believe she will come back to me. God can
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: fix her heart, and she want a heart fix. She
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: ain't asking for forgiveness. She out there with another dude. Man.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: Some say I'm foolish, a damn food, But I say
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: I've lost the missing you stupid aston. Some say I
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: shouldn't take her back. She don't want you back, Doc,
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: Where are you going with this? Some say I I
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: shouldn't take her back. She don't want you back after
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: what she's done with who knows what with other men.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: But I'm all for forgiveness and redemption. Dogs. This ain't
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: your congregation. This your wife, pimp, This is your wife.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Different man. What's wrong with you? What scriptures you read?
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: I have dealt with the shame, and I'm still able
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: to face my congregation. Often hear them laughing and teasing
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: me behind my back. Everybody punking you, dog, your wife,
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: punking you. The congregation jokes, Oh, I'll be up in
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: the pool pit. Do we're not having sermon this morning? Well,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: I'm doing a set. I'll be in that point that
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: people talking about outfits, dresses, haircuts, I'll be doing everything
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: cause that you drove up in. You ain't fit to
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: be laughing teasing me behind my back. But I'm telling
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: you there ain't no sunshine when she's gone. But it
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: was a hurricane, tornado and thunderstorm when she home. Though,
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: I need your honored advice on this one. Am I
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: holding out hope for a woman that won't ever come
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: back to me? She don't want you, dog, She'd have
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: told you two three times. Now, she get out there
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: and find out this world ain't what she thinking? Is
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: she gonna come crawling back and you, like an old food,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: gonna take her back. Woman that's slept with somebody in
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: your house? Oh man, Look, I ain't saying you can't
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: forgive a woman for cheating. That's not what I'm not saying.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: I'm not forgiving you for sleeping in my own house,
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: though we're not letting that go. You just disrespectful to
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: me all the way round. But you're just punking me
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: all the way round the board. Now I'm sorry, past.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: That's my answer, all right, wrote if you I'm not

- 1:10:37Speaker 1: point out to everyone that I am still a single man.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: This year. I'm thinking about paying a casual acquaintance to
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: come with me pretending to be my girlfriend. I know
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: she can sell it, and she'd even be willing to
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: clean up and talk with my mom, but that would
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: cost extra. I know this sounds crazy. I know this
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: sounds crazy. That's what he said. But I just want

- 1:18:10Speaker 1: deal with the white man with you can deal with Freddy.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: That give me something to do. I'm not in here
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: with Satan because if his hand off, I'm good. If
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: I get it off, we do. Yeah, I got it.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: We all everybody got changed on this. They had weapons.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: I can't be in the exens as Satan got just
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: bed up in his hand, and all this here just
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: vomit on me and all man, no, Lord not out
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: here with the death on. I take Krueger, Chucky, you
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: bring carrying here. You'll not bring Satan in here because
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: his ass was a trip. People through anybody we do
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: amity veal, I do all this. Huh do Canny Man?
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: All I do anybody? Any people, Cannon Mann whatever, Canny
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: Man is black, we can talk to him. Devil down, Hell, No,
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: give me to these people. Oh you got nine chuck
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: it Chucky dollar kick chucking. You think he got that
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: one cut on his face. Ass gonna be a little
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: stuffing up. That little ass gonna be in the fireplace
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: so fast. I got something fun chuck Jason Kuga, all
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: of them. But that devil got just beard up in
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: the at and spit this vomit on me the spongish
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: white girl's neckground. Hell, it's going on in hell man.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: Change our coming up in forty nine minutes after the hour,
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: and that is today's round up. Would you rather? It
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: is our last break of the day. And some clothing
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: from Steve Harvey. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: Steve Morning Show. All right, guys, here we are last
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: break of the day. Steve is back. His first day
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: back has been fun and creating. Thank you. But the
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: more important thing I had to get back in time
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: for these MEA term elections so I could make sure
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: that I was pushing it myself. I know my team
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: been holding it down. I appreciate y'all did a great job.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: I have to do my part, my way, and I
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: in my closing, I'm telling you people, we have got
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: to vote this me term election. It's critical. It is
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: critical on so many levels. First of all, voter suppression
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: is real. You have got to start right now identifying
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: your voting status, your address, the necessary ID, and your
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: polling stations. You have got to start identifying that now.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: You've got to learn when early voting is started. We
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: got to vote early and often get it done. Don't
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: wait till the last minute, because if there's something that
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: you need to address, you need to have these weeks
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: to get it done. Listen to me, they are doing
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: everything in their power to keep people of color from
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: going to the polls. Voter suppression is real. They've taken
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: mailboxes out of communities. They've reduced the number of polling stations,
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: the number of voting places. They've increased the difficulty with registration,
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: with what you have to have to absentee ballot vote.
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: Everything is different, y'all. We have got to pay attention.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: The second thing is they want to harry back up
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: and get back control the way they did because the
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: last election did not go the way they wanted it to,
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: because they lost in some key markets. They lost in Milwaukee,
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: they lost in Detroit, Michigan, they lost in Philly, they
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: lost in Arizona, and they lost in Georgia. And Georgia
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: is flaming hot red mad them folks is mad on
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: a whole other level. They have allowed this Donald Trump
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: lie to premeate through the entire Republican Party that the
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: election was stolen. They are running on the fact that
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: they're saying the election was stolen. This is incredible, y'all.
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: Are we for real now? Stacy Abrams. Stacy Abrams in Georgia,
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: according to the polls, is behind. Let me tell you something.
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: Let me ask everybody that's listening to my show, have
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: they polled you because they damn show ain't polled me.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: So what they're trying to do now is create complacency
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: in the neighborhoods. So if we show you that Stacy
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: Abrams is behind, they're hoping that we'll go, Okay, well
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: she can't win. I ain't gonna go down there. We
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: are going to fool them. We are going to vote early,
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: we are going to vote often, and we're going to
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: put Stacy Abrams in the governor's office, and we are
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: going to put Warnock in place in the place he
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: belongs in the Senate. For them to let me tell
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: you how diabolical they are, for them to even go
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: and dig up a herschel Walker, the most unqualified person
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: on any ballot anywhere, simply because they have a right
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: wing puppet with a black face that they can put
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: up against the other black face. Because they figured if
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: they put a white face up there, it'll create a
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: racial tension and they would lose that because that's how
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: they lost before. They now went and found a black
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: candidate to put up against the black face. Are you
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: kidding me, man? Are you kidding me? That's how diabolical
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: they are. You can't as a human being think that
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: herschel Walker is qualified to do anything anything and speaking
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: is one of them. Y'all got to be kidding me, man,
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: if you think we're gonna sit up in here as
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: people of color because you to put another person of color.
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: I saw this dumb ass black dude on TV time up.
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: Herschel did good in debates. I was kind of proud
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: of him, you know, because I've been following him since
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: he played football. Joe stupid ass following somebody because they
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: a football, because they play football. That make him a
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: good senator for you and your cause and your family
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: and what you need. No, herschel Walker is going to
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: do the beating of the Republican Party. The governor has
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: control of hundreds or millions of dollars that he does
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: not have to confer with anybody in spending. The reason
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: that hospital is closing in our neighborhood, that trauma hospital,
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: is because the governor Kemp refuses to put the money
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: in there so Medicaid can get these cases paid. His
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: claim is that were one hundred and fifteen thousand unpaid
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: medical procedures done at that hospital. Well, that's because you
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: won't put the money for medicaiding there. Doctor don't care
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: how they get paid, long as they get paid. So
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: now you've allowed at the runners course, so you can
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: close it. But if you don't put the money in there,
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: what are you doing with the money, because it ain't
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: coming to our neighborhoods. And then unifying these damn rappers
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: talking about he's a verse governor. No he's not, No
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: he's not. He's the same undiverseed one party person he's
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: always been and it ain't been for us. Now. I
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: got to try to get Stacy to help her get
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: black men to come out to the polls. That's why
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: I did what I did with Stacy Abrams because we
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: killed me sometimes. Man, we always talk about what we ain't,
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: but you ain't never want to look at what they ain't.
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? You wanna
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: try to tell me what Stacy Abrams ain't? Well, tell
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: me what Kemp is? What has Kemp done for you ever? Ever? Ever?
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: At least Stacy talking about coming to do something for
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: us for all people. Man, y'all got to get to
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: the polls and vote. I'm be on this to the
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: election day so I ain't through see y'all. Y'all have
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: a great day. Man, talk to God. He loved you.
