- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, Come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:10Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, here we go today, folks.
- 2:14Speaker 1: This is a good one because today I want to
- 2:18Speaker 1: share with you something that affects every living soul, and
- 2:25Speaker 1: that one thing is your attitude. This affects everyone. It
- 2:32Speaker 1: is your attitude. You know. I don't know if anyone's
- 2:38Speaker 1: ever told you, but I mean many of you who
- 2:40Speaker 1: listen know this, But there are a lot of people
- 2:43Speaker 1: who don't understand a positive attitude can bring about a change.
- 2:52Speaker 1: A positive attitude can bring about a change. Well, now
- 2:56Speaker 1: here we go with the nay says well, Steve, what
- 2:57Speaker 1: you mean if I'm just positive being chained? My mama gone,
- 3:00Speaker 1: What me being positive got to do with that? Okay,
- 3:04Speaker 1: now listen to me carefully. A positive attitude can bring
- 3:08Speaker 1: about change. Well, okay, Steve, I hear you saying that,
- 3:12Speaker 1: but they didn't fired me. So now what does my
- 3:15Speaker 1: having a positive attitude have to do with the fact
- 3:17Speaker 1: that they fired me? Well, one more time, A positive
- 3:23Speaker 1: attitude can bring about change. Or Steve, I set up
- 3:29Speaker 1: in here and gave eight, nine, twelve years of my
- 3:33Speaker 1: life to this man and he just he cheated on
- 3:36Speaker 1: me and walked out. Now what does me being positive
- 3:39Speaker 1: have to do with him cheating on me? How that's
- 3:42Speaker 1: gonna change that? Okay, here we go again. A positive
- 3:47Speaker 1: attitude can bring about change. Now listen to the whole thing. Now,
- 3:52Speaker 1: the positive attitude and the change that can happen starts
- 4:00Speaker 1: to start. It starts within you. See, life is ten
- 4:07Speaker 1: percent what happens is what you do about what happens. Okay,
- 4:11Speaker 1: you gave twelve years of your life to this man.
- 4:14Speaker 1: He cheated and left you hold in the bag, the
- 4:16Speaker 1: kids and everything. Now what does being positive have to
- 4:20Speaker 1: do with changing that? Or they came in and they
- 4:22Speaker 1: fired you. You lost your job that you was a
- 4:25Speaker 1: stellar performer at. But now, how does you having a
- 4:29Speaker 1: positive attitude. How does that change things for you? So far?
- 4:34Speaker 1: You can use any example. Here's what happens when you
- 4:38Speaker 1: have a positive attitude. What it produces within you is
- 4:43Speaker 1: a positive approach to life. And when you have a
- 4:46Speaker 1: positive attitude and a positive approach to life, it causes
- 4:51Speaker 1: you to be optimistic, to have a positive out look,
- 4:57Speaker 1: to expect things to eventually turn around, and and and
- 5:02Speaker 1: and turn into a positive That's very important because as
- 5:06Speaker 1: the law of attraction comes into play, if you think
- 5:10Speaker 1: positive thoughts, you attract positive things. If you think evil thoughts,
- 5:17Speaker 1: you attract evil to you. You know, if you want
- 5:21Speaker 1: for nothing, then nothing comes your way. If you want
- 5:25Speaker 1: for positive attitude, if you want for positive results, if
- 5:28Speaker 1: you want for a great outcome, that's what you attract
- 5:30Speaker 1: to you. The change will begin within you. So let's
- 5:34Speaker 1: take the man that walked out your life and left
- 5:37Speaker 1: you hold in the bag. Here's a positive attitude. Okay,
- 5:42Speaker 1: two things have happened as positive here. Number one, you've
- 5:45Speaker 1: ridd it yourself of someone who is obviously going to be,
- 5:49Speaker 1: if not already been, toxic in your life, cause you
- 5:53Speaker 1: many restless nights, a lot of uncomfortable feelings, an uneasiness,
- 5:58Speaker 1: not sure insecurity. You've been going through it with this person,
- 6:02Speaker 1: whoever they are. Number One, that person has been released
- 6:06Speaker 1: from your life. Number Two, it allows you now to
- 6:10Speaker 1: have the someone who will treat you just the way
- 6:13Speaker 1: you want to be treated. That's the positive outlook, that's
- 6:17Speaker 1: the optimistic way. That's when you're a positive person. You
- 6:21Speaker 1: see the positive in things that happened to you instead
- 6:24Speaker 1: of burying yourself under the what's wrong with it? A
- 6:27Speaker 1: old woe is me now? Concept? See a positive attitude.
- 6:31Speaker 1: When they came in there and they fired you and
- 6:33Speaker 1: let you go, Could this not have been just the
- 6:38Speaker 1: opening you needed to finally start on a new career
- 6:41Speaker 1: path that you've been talking about doing anyway? Could it
- 6:45Speaker 1: possibly be a brand new chance for you to get
- 6:48Speaker 1: the dream job or dream career of your choice. Could
- 6:52Speaker 1: it not possibly be the perfect opportunity now for you
- 6:57Speaker 1: to finally finally do something about that gift, about that
- 7:02Speaker 1: talent that God gave you, that thing that you love
- 7:05Speaker 1: to do. Could it not be the perfect time for
- 7:07Speaker 1: you to pursue that. But if you don't have a
- 7:09Speaker 1: positive attitude, then you lay there. Oh they finned come
- 7:14Speaker 1: getting my house? Oh what I'm gonna do now all
- 7:17Speaker 1: this unemployment ain't enough. Oh Lord, when this unemployment run out,
- 7:22Speaker 1: what am I gonna do? Then I won't have nothing?
- 7:24Speaker 1: And you old woe is me until you become old
- 7:28Speaker 1: woe is me. But if you take it from the
- 7:31Speaker 1: positive approach, some amazing things can happen in your life.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I will tell you on a personal note, that's some
- 7:38Speaker 1: of the most some of the best changes, some of
- 7:41Speaker 1: the biggest moments in my life came after a loss.
- 7:46Speaker 1: So I don't want to go down on the list,
- 7:47Speaker 1: but boy, I could tell you. Let me let me
- 7:49Speaker 1: tell you something. When they didn't want me on the
- 7:51Speaker 1: radio anymore in La, when they didn't know when they
- 7:54Speaker 1: went it was sick of the way I did radio
- 7:56Speaker 1: out there, and they wanted me gone. And on twenty third,
- 8:00Speaker 1: two thousand and five, when my when when when my
- 8:06Speaker 1: deal was done with the beat out in La? Okay,
- 8:13Speaker 1: look what happened though, y'all was gone in May. But
- 8:16Speaker 1: in September nineteenth I started to Steve Harvey Radio Network
- 8:20Speaker 1: with four cities. You see. But I didn't go old
- 8:24Speaker 1: woe was me? I said, Oh, okay, God must have
- 8:28Speaker 1: something else from it then, because if he didn't remove
- 8:31Speaker 1: me from this, That must be something else. Same thing
- 8:34Speaker 1: can happened when you lose and you and you break
- 8:37Speaker 1: up in a relationship, Same thing can happen to you.
- 8:39Speaker 1: You never know the one God God for you that
- 8:42Speaker 1: here you go, here you go again. Now you get
- 8:44Speaker 1: put into a situation with somebody, treat you just the
- 8:47Speaker 1: way you want to be treated, provide you the whole
- 8:49Speaker 1: lot of aspects of your life you knew nothing about
- 8:52Speaker 1: prior to that. But you gotta stay positive. If you
- 8:55Speaker 1: stay positive, that positive attitude, that optimistic outlook, that that
- 9:00Speaker 1: that always thinking God got me no matter what happened
- 9:04Speaker 1: to me, some amazing things that's going can will happen
- 9:08Speaker 1: in your life. It's a fact. I don't know how
- 9:10Speaker 1: it works that way. I just know that's what it is.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Positive attitude is everything, y'all. So get off the old
- 9:16Speaker 1: woe is Me negativity train because it ain't gonna take
- 9:19Speaker 1: you nowhere but down and get get your outlook up.
- 9:22Speaker 1: If you change your attitude, you change your altitude. Altitude
- 9:27Speaker 1: is determined by your attitude. How high you go, how
- 9:31Speaker 1: big you become, how far you go. It all depends
- 9:34Speaker 1: on how you think. It all depends on what type
- 9:37Speaker 1: of attitude you got. Ain't no, ain't no, very very successful,
- 9:42Speaker 1: super negative people. It just doesn't coincide that way. If
- 9:46Speaker 1: you see that something that happened to them along the way,
- 9:48Speaker 1: and don't weary. You ain't gonna weary about it because
- 9:50Speaker 1: you ain't gonna see them long because you can't stay
- 9:52Speaker 1: up there like that. It's just too hard, all right.
- 9:56Speaker 1: That's the conversation you're listening to morning show, Ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: it is upon a se Steve Harvey Morning Show is
- 10:06Speaker 1: now here. It means that God has allowed us to
- 10:09Speaker 1: see another day, and for that I'm grateful. My cup
- 10:15Speaker 1: run It's over. It was funny, But the other day
- 10:17Speaker 1: I was listening to a minister I never heard of,
- 10:19Speaker 1: can't even pronounce his name. Um and man, the whole
- 10:24Speaker 1: sermon was about my cup run It's over. And I've
- 10:27Speaker 1: been saying it every since. My cup run It's over.
- 10:31Speaker 1: That really helped me. I'm gonna get his name so
- 10:32Speaker 1: I can say, ladies and gentlemen, let's get it on
- 10:35Speaker 1: this hill. Popping Junior, what's on your mind up today?
- 10:39Speaker 1: Ash Wisday, could you please shut his assist this story?
- 10:43Speaker 1: No I don't want to do that, Junior, You don't.
- 10:46Speaker 1: I don't want to do the ash wist. This story
- 10:50Speaker 1: go on. I've always called it ash wisdy. So what
- 10:57Speaker 1: else you got, Junior? Okay? Then did they just asked you?
- 11:00Speaker 1: Then there's a show on TV. Ass put a k
- 11:03Speaker 1: on it? I said, ass, all right, this is a
- 11:09Speaker 1: show TV called Merritith First Sight. I don't know if
- 11:12Speaker 1: you've seen it, to come on the night. This is
- 11:14Speaker 1: where people who have never met each other just meet
- 11:16Speaker 1: at the altar and get married. Yeah, have you seen
- 11:21Speaker 1: this show? And if you if you haven't seen it,
- 11:23Speaker 1: you got to watch it because what would you think
- 11:25Speaker 1: if you get to the altar and your bride don't
- 11:27Speaker 1: look like you wanted? Well, here's a deal. At first,
- 11:31Speaker 1: I thought the title of the show was odd and
- 11:34Speaker 1: a bit crazy. But I think every man living has
- 11:39Speaker 1: seen a woman before that they wanted to marry right away. Yeah,
- 11:45Speaker 1: every man in here has seen a woman that they
- 11:50Speaker 1: wanted to marry right away. But as life goes on,
- 11:57Speaker 1: you learned that everything you see, or let me phrase
- 12:02Speaker 1: it this way, all that glitters ain't gold. I'm on
- 12:06Speaker 1: here now less revert to some things I've learned joining
- 12:13Speaker 1: with me, deacon. Yes, side, Uh, some things that I've
- 12:17Speaker 1: had to learn over the years. Yeah. All that glitterle
- 12:24Speaker 1: mh ain't gold, don't shine, that's right. Uh. No matter
- 12:31Speaker 1: how fine old woman he is, there's a man somewhere
- 12:40Speaker 1: sick and tide or her ass. Yes, yes, I've learned.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Just because you can don't mean you should. Yeah, I've learned.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Don't ask her to marry you if you ain't one
- 13:02Speaker 1: thousand percent show, that's nobody to marry you. Why are
- 13:10Speaker 1: you performing a lustful act? Don't tell nobody you love them?
- 13:18Speaker 1: Why are you laying there having pillot talk? Yes, yes,
- 13:23Speaker 1: be well. The signs of a dark future, I've had
- 13:28Speaker 1: them all man, at first sight, it be the last
- 13:33Speaker 1: damn right there, you see if you do coming up
- 13:36Speaker 1: nextran back right after this, right after this, you're listening
- 13:46Speaker 1: morning show. All right, it is time now for the
- 13:49Speaker 1: nephew to run that prank back what you got for
- 13:51Speaker 1: his nap arly in the last break, we just left
- 13:55Speaker 1: church past back and I we're gonna go to another pastor.
- 13:58Speaker 1: This is repalling the church, Hugh, got dog. We are
- 14:04Speaker 1: in your command, all right, all mine clear, let's go
- 14:10Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a pastor, Pastor Wilkins. Yeah, this
- 14:14Speaker 1: is the reverend doctor Wilkins. Are you the you're the
- 14:16Speaker 1: pastor of Baptist Church, am right? Basti Church? That's correct.
- 14:21Speaker 1: How can I help you? Okay? Listen, my name is Daniel,
- 14:25Speaker 1: and I'm calling from RCS, which is a church supply,
- 14:29Speaker 1: and we have an outstanding bill here that we wanted
- 14:32Speaker 1: to bring to you all's attention for like twenty three
- 14:35Speaker 1: thousand dollars for your pews that has not been paid.
- 14:38Speaker 1: So we wanted to see not to cut you out. Yeah, yeah, Daniel, RCS, Yeah,
- 14:47Speaker 1: church supply, sir. That's uh, this is actually where you
- 14:50Speaker 1: guys got your pews. Okay, outstanding bill for twenty three thousand, Well,
- 14:55Speaker 1: first of all, that's normally, uh, all our standing bills
- 14:59Speaker 1: are buy our finance department. You know, you would need
- 15:02Speaker 1: to speak to our treasurer and they will be able
- 15:04Speaker 1: to hempt you with that sard that this hasn't been
- 15:07Speaker 1: taken care of. And this matter when it comes to
- 15:09Speaker 1: these pews, because, like I stated before, you guys old
- 15:12Speaker 1: twenty three thousand dollars on these ceues and I think
- 15:14Speaker 1: this was probably twelve or thirteen years ago, so maybe
- 15:17Speaker 1: this was something before you got there, but nevertheless, there's
- 15:21Speaker 1: still an outstanding building right now. We're actually going to
- 15:24Speaker 1: be repossessing these pews as of early seven o'clock Sunday morning,
- 15:30Speaker 1: not far this Sunday morning, though we have the Women's
- 15:34Speaker 1: Days Missionary is here today and I also fund it.
- 15:37Speaker 1: We have, like our man, you have a lot of
- 15:41Speaker 1: things and you actually run it off your schedule. To me,
- 15:44Speaker 1: that's that's really not my concern. And maybe your Women's
- 15:47Speaker 1: Day or whatever it is gonna get y'all gonna do
- 15:49Speaker 1: a standing up because right now we're not going to
- 15:51Speaker 1: do it. You're not understanding me. See um, did you
- 15:54Speaker 1: say twelve or thirteen years ago? Yes, sir, well, I've
- 15:57Speaker 1: been the past here for ten years and you know,
- 15:59Speaker 1: you know occurred or you got there. But nevertheless, the
- 16:05Speaker 1: bill is still outstanding and these cues need to be
- 16:08Speaker 1: taken care of. Now. If y'all don't have the twenty
- 16:11Speaker 1: three thousand dollars, then I got to come pick these
- 16:13Speaker 1: pews up Sunday morning. Sir. We're gonna over there. You're
- 16:17Speaker 1: not hearing me, And first of all, this is my
- 16:19Speaker 1: private number how did you get this number? You're your
- 16:21Speaker 1: numbers here in the books as a contact. No, this
- 16:24Speaker 1: is this is the only only get this out to
- 16:26Speaker 1: very few people, and I know none of them will
- 16:28Speaker 1: will give our numbers. So that's definitue right there. And
- 16:31Speaker 1: second of all, if you're talking about coming in our
- 16:33Speaker 1: church sign the morning to take our pews, uh, that's
- 16:37Speaker 1: not something you really want to do, sir. I have
- 16:39Speaker 1: to do my job the same way you get up
- 16:42Speaker 1: on Sunday morning and you have to do yours. I
- 16:44Speaker 1: have to do mine. So my job is to get
- 16:46Speaker 1: these fees back because you guys are twenty three thousand
- 16:49Speaker 1: dollars in the rears. No tyling and tell you I
- 16:52Speaker 1: ain't always been been a treat it. Now you're come
- 16:55Speaker 1: in my church and you're testing cues. I'm gonna come
- 16:57Speaker 1: out that proof it, don't you. I'm not. I'm not
- 17:00Speaker 1: here to go to what you used to be and
- 17:03Speaker 1: what you are now. I'm nothing to go back and
- 17:05Speaker 1: forth with you on that. The bottom line the consequences
- 17:08Speaker 1: you don't want to deal with, Signe because you know
- 17:09Speaker 1: I hold on, hold on, hold on, let me let
- 17:12Speaker 1: me calm down, because you know you're about to make
- 17:14Speaker 1: me say some words, and I've been delivered from Thank god,
- 17:17Speaker 1: I'm going to deliver them pus away from you on Sunday. Now,
- 17:22Speaker 1: I got to come and pick them pews up. That's
- 17:24Speaker 1: the bottom line. Do you have twenty three thousand Sunday morning?
- 17:28Speaker 1: Twenty three thousand? Understand that's not the issue. The issue
- 17:31Speaker 1: is you have no business calling me on my personal phone.
- 17:34Speaker 1: I'm in my meditation time right now, trying to get
- 17:36Speaker 1: consecrated for you know, my message of as to deliver
- 17:40Speaker 1: later this afternoon, so we need all of our puma.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Let me ask you something. Do you have the twenty
- 17:46Speaker 1: three thousand dollars that you can give me Sunday morning
- 17:48Speaker 1: and then you can continue whatever it is you have
- 17:51Speaker 1: going on that day. Other than that, I'm gonna have
- 17:53Speaker 1: to take them culls. I got to told me your
- 17:56Speaker 1: twenty dollars. If you're not listening, Frond, that ain't my bill,
- 17:59Speaker 1: I ain't paying it, you ain't touching my watch. I'm
- 18:04Speaker 1: not gonna continue to go. Okay, listen, I'm trying to
- 18:06Speaker 1: respect what's what's pastor will trying to respect you remend
- 18:11Speaker 1: doctor Wilkins. I'd appreciate that you called me in my name,
- 18:15Speaker 1: Reverend doctor Wilkins. Okay, Reverend doctor Wilkins. Now, first of all,
- 18:20Speaker 1: I'm combing up there Sunday. Now, I'm hoping I only
- 18:23Speaker 1: have to lay hands on these cues now, but I
- 18:25Speaker 1: gotta lay hands on something else. Then I got to
- 18:28Speaker 1: do what I got to You can come on up here,
- 18:31Speaker 1: and you said it on the property, that's cool, But
- 18:33Speaker 1: you touch them cues. I got some lords in here.
- 18:36Speaker 1: They can take that Jesus coat off, they can slay
- 18:38Speaker 1: it down. They can get with you, partner. I'm staying.
- 18:41Speaker 1: You know what the Jado I walked through the valley
- 18:44Speaker 1: shadow of death. I will see no evil. I ain't
- 18:47Speaker 1: got no problems. Wait wait wait wait wait wait wait
- 18:50Speaker 1: wait wait wait. You're talking about coming to me and
- 18:52Speaker 1: answer my church because my plea, I'm gonna do what
- 18:55Speaker 1: I got to do. Man. Then I'm gonna do what
- 18:58Speaker 1: I got to do in the NAMA, right, man, stand
- 19:03Speaker 1: up the whole service. Now on which one do you
- 19:06Speaker 1: want you want to hamlet? I got I got something
- 19:09Speaker 1: else I want to take you. You listen to me.
- 19:12Speaker 1: You ain't saying nothing? Side is you listening what you
- 19:14Speaker 1: got to say to me? I got to say this
- 19:16Speaker 1: to you, devil. His nephew taught me from the Steve
- 19:20Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You just got pranked by your entire
- 19:23Speaker 1: deacon boy. What who this is? Man? Well, because this
- 19:31Speaker 1: is nephew Tommy Man from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Your deacon boy got me the prank phone call you.
- 19:37Speaker 1: I can't believe this boy made me lose my religion.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Sign there man, you hung in there paths, which one
- 19:44Speaker 1: of them was Deacon Glover. Okay, okay, okay, I've got
- 19:50Speaker 1: some some things I got to talk about you. I
- 19:54Speaker 1: wonder how you got my personal cellphone anyway, Man, So well,
- 19:57Speaker 1: I'm glad I was put a laugh on your face
- 19:59Speaker 1: to Oh Man, I needed to walk. I gotta ask you, man, pastor,
- 20:06Speaker 1: what is the baddest radio show in the land Steve
- 20:10Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Let me tell you this. I'm gonna
- 20:13Speaker 1: keep doing what he's doing. The first minute in the show, Man,
- 20:16Speaker 1: I loved that. I really loved that. And really it
- 20:19Speaker 1: really blesses the people. Really really appreciate that. Man, he
- 20:21Speaker 1: really will. Ain't nothing like a frustrated past. You know
- 20:24Speaker 1: what I'm saying. It's it shows stability. You're going to house.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Some problems some some some some some some setbacks and
- 20:32Speaker 1: some uh situation shots that you're going to go through.
- 20:36Speaker 1: All right, all right, all minds clear, Shirley, if you
- 20:40Speaker 1: would all right, thank you. Nephew coming up next to
- 20:43Speaker 1: is asked the cello. The Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey
- 20:46Speaker 1: in the building ready for your love questions. Right after this,
- 20:51Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning show coming up at
- 20:55Speaker 1: the top of the hour. One retailer is changing its
- 20:58Speaker 1: minimum wage to twenty four dollars an hour in some areas.
- 21:03Speaker 1: That's right, right, uh huh. And a new picture of
- 21:08Speaker 1: rapper Big Sean leaked over the weekend and went viral.
- 21:14Speaker 1: But right now it is time to ask the CLO
- 21:18Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey standing by Claire and Toledo writes,
- 21:23Speaker 1: My child's father is behind in child support, so I
- 21:26Speaker 1: invited him over for a romantic evening. When things got
- 21:30Speaker 1: hot and heavy, I told him he'd have to pay
- 21:33Speaker 1: to play. He begged me all night to get undressed,
- 21:37Speaker 1: and I wouldn't. Since that night he won't return my calls.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Did I go too far with trying to get my money?
- 21:45Speaker 1: That's how did you think that was a good idea.
- 21:50Speaker 1: That's the way to get some money. First of all
- 21:56Speaker 1: three things happened here, blackmail, prostitution, Why neither one of
- 22:02Speaker 1: those work out and most are illegal in most places.
- 22:07Speaker 1: And now he won't return your phone calls. What that
- 22:10Speaker 1: was the dumbest I've never heard that. That's the dumbest
- 22:15Speaker 1: thing I've ever heard. You can get child support. The
- 22:19Speaker 1: courts make sure of that. Yeah, yeah, surely. Next question,
- 22:25Speaker 1: I'm at a loss too far? All right, that ain't
- 22:29Speaker 1: too far. That's the wrong way, yeah, period. Devin and
- 22:33Speaker 1: Spartanburg says, I'm a twenty eight year old single woman
- 22:36Speaker 1: and my mother lives with me temporarily because my father
- 22:39Speaker 1: accused her of cheating. I think she really is cheating
- 22:42Speaker 1: on him because she's on the phone all night and
- 22:44Speaker 1: she disappears during the day. My dad is asking me
- 22:47Speaker 1: to snitch on her. And what should I do in
- 22:50Speaker 1: this situation? Stay out of it, Stay out of it.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Let your daddy figured out for himself what he already know.
- 22:58Speaker 1: That's why your mom over there living at your because
- 23:00Speaker 1: your daddy know you ain't got to snitch on nothing.
- 23:04Speaker 1: He know. That's why your mama living at your house.
- 23:09Speaker 1: They grown, but grown people do stuff like this sometime.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Ain't your business. You know, he wants you to snitch.
- 23:16Speaker 1: He you ain't got to snitch. Everybody know, he knows,
- 23:19Speaker 1: she know, you know. Everybody know. Now we know. Yeah,
- 23:30Speaker 1: so just stay out of it. Should she should she
- 23:33Speaker 1: continue to allow her mom to stay there, because that's
- 23:36Speaker 1: gonna cause major problems too. Well, you know, hard to
- 23:41Speaker 1: put your mom out. It is very hard kind and
- 23:47Speaker 1: that's a hard mama get out. Really don't need mama, Mama,
- 23:53Speaker 1: go back to daddy, please, Yeah, all right. Moving on
- 23:57Speaker 1: to Barbara and Knoxville, Barbara writes on sixties something divorced
- 24:01Speaker 1: female and I went on a date with a man
- 24:03Speaker 1: from church. He lost his keys in the restaurant, so
- 24:06Speaker 1: he suggested we go home by uber. He got an
- 24:09Speaker 1: uber for himself, but didn't take care of my ride.
- 24:12Speaker 1: He found his keys and called me asking for another date.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Does he deserve a second date? Okay, surely run this
- 24:21Speaker 1: back by me. They went out. He lost his keys
- 24:24Speaker 1: in the restaurant. In the restaurant, so uh, he called
- 24:28Speaker 1: it uber. He suggested that they go home by uber.
- 24:31Speaker 1: He called an uber for himself, but didn't take care
- 24:33Speaker 1: of her ride and get home. I didn't do it
- 24:39Speaker 1: on own. Yeah, probably I'll sell at home. Yeah that
- 24:43Speaker 1: wasn't good. And he does so, Oh I'm assuming he
- 24:48Speaker 1: picked her up? Yeah yeah, they they went together. Yeah,
- 24:53Speaker 1: he lost his keys in the restaurant, so well he's stupid. Yeah,
- 24:59Speaker 1: I don't know how he don't see that him losing
- 25:01Speaker 1: the keys is his fault, because it is you lost him,
- 25:04Speaker 1: and you bought me here, and so you would be
- 25:07Speaker 1: naturally expected to be responsible for my safety to and
- 25:11Speaker 1: fro and it seemed to know. Well, what he should
- 25:14Speaker 1: have did was take the uber to you, drop you off,
- 25:18Speaker 1: get back in the uber and go home. It's one Uber,
- 25:22Speaker 1: that's how it's done. No, No, you go your way,
- 25:25Speaker 1: I go mine. That's but man's But he could have
- 25:33Speaker 1: ordered her and uber. But the decent thing to do
- 25:37Speaker 1: in your sixties, because I know you know this, take
- 25:40Speaker 1: the woman home and drop her off and make sure
- 25:42Speaker 1: you see he's safe because you picked her up in
- 25:44Speaker 1: that car. So it's a one uber deal. Dog. But
- 25:51Speaker 1: he don't need to be fooling with his ass. No way,
- 25:53Speaker 1: he losing keys already, we don't even be fooling. He
- 25:56Speaker 1: forget for already it's gonna get worse. I agree, I agree,
- 26:03Speaker 1: But this dude, is he missing on a lot of levels. Yeah,
- 26:09Speaker 1: lose your key in the restaurant. Man. So now he's sixty,
- 26:15Speaker 1: he's sixty, He got well, he's sixty. Like Tommy's saying,
- 26:22Speaker 1: he forgetful. I ain't saying what that is, but he forgetful.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Now after while, he gonna drive off and ain't gonna
- 26:30Speaker 1: remember where he stayed. All that's coming, man, he gonna
- 26:35Speaker 1: be just sitting up there in the restaurant and you
- 26:37Speaker 1: just all of a sudden, you hear water on the floor. Yeah,
- 26:41Speaker 1: set up, damn pede on it self. Yeah, just I
- 26:44Speaker 1: ain't goin to sign up all this hill get out now?
- 26:48Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, all right. Last one, Shelley and o'calla says,
- 26:53Speaker 1: I'm pregnant by a guy that used to date my
- 26:56Speaker 1: older sister. We've been sneaking around for a while, but
- 27:00Speaker 1: the first time we had sex this happened. I want
- 27:04Speaker 1: to tell my sister, but she won't believe it or
- 27:06Speaker 1: sympathize with me. I need her support if I'm going
- 27:10Speaker 1: to have the baby. Should I tell her or should
- 27:13Speaker 1: we tell her together? Question? Yeah? See it from the car. Well,
- 27:22Speaker 1: this is terrible bad. Yeah, I would, based on what
- 27:28Speaker 1: I know, especially if y'all are black, I suggest texting her.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Let's text first. Then let's pull up in the front
- 27:41Speaker 1: of her house. Don't go in that drive. Pull up
- 27:44Speaker 1: in the front of her house and roll the winter
- 27:47Speaker 1: night and asked her to come out and talk. And
- 27:50Speaker 1: now now wash her hands when she come out. You
- 27:53Speaker 1: want to make sure you can see her hands. So
- 27:55Speaker 1: when she come out the door to talk, if you
- 27:58Speaker 1: can't see her hands, just pull off. Pull off. You
- 28:02Speaker 1: can't see her hand, pull off right now. All the
- 28:08Speaker 1: way you could do it is y'all could jest all
- 28:13Speaker 1: invite her down to the church and make the announcement
- 28:18Speaker 1: in the pastor's office. Don't stand up in that congregation
- 28:24Speaker 1: and break that new cross that they just hung up there.
- 28:28Speaker 1: You want to do it in the pastor's office, do
- 28:31Speaker 1: it in the church. Gonna be a lot of furniture
- 28:34Speaker 1: moving going on in there. And you know that call
- 28:38Speaker 1: the baby that her aunt was really her mama, but
- 28:43Speaker 1: and I'm now your mama, but was supposed to be
- 28:45Speaker 1: your aunt. And your daddy is your uncle daddy? All right?
- 28:55Speaker 1: Coming up entertainment news at the top of the hour.
- 28:57Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listening to the
- 29:02Speaker 1: morning show, So now listen to what Target has done.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Target has announced that it's raising its starting wage for
- 29:11Speaker 1: workers in some positions to up to twenty four dollars
- 29:15Speaker 1: and hours. This is at stores and distribution centers in
- 29:18Speaker 1: places like New York City where it's hardest to find
- 29:21Speaker 1: and higher staff. All right, And the new starting wage
- 29:26Speaker 1: is part of a company plan that also includes broader
- 29:28Speaker 1: access to healthcare coverage for its workers. So Target cares. Yeah,
- 29:34Speaker 1: that's awesome. That is not what minimum wage was. And
- 29:40Speaker 1: I was coming out an application age to go ahead
- 29:44Speaker 1: three seventy five at the lowest minimum wage. You remember,
- 29:49Speaker 1: that's where That's why I started. Yeah, man, at the
- 29:53Speaker 1: gap the phone reading what you, I said, Thank y'all
- 30:01Speaker 1: for going before me, because I'm in a wage was
- 30:02Speaker 1: seven dollars. You had killed yourself. Come get on this
- 30:07Speaker 1: dollar thirty five, and I shall remember when it got
- 30:13Speaker 1: bumped up to or one sixty five, a dollar sixty five.
- 30:18Speaker 1: I was here for the two fifteen. I made two
- 30:22Speaker 1: thirty five plus tips as a waitress. How much two
- 30:27Speaker 1: thirty five waitress. I cannot imagine yo evil as serving.
- 30:36Speaker 1: It worked out. If somebody say something to you, call
- 30:41Speaker 1: would and you turn your head like and you tilt
- 30:44Speaker 1: your head like you da. I bought home a pizza
- 30:47Speaker 1: every day. I have my tips. It was good. It
- 30:50Speaker 1: was a lot of work. I had to clean the bathrooms,
- 30:52Speaker 1: breakdown the salad bar. I used to clean up this
- 30:55Speaker 1: all this dining facility in college. It was an upscale
- 31:01Speaker 1: place for kids that had money. I worked in there
- 31:04Speaker 1: from twelve midnight to folk cleaning it up. One of
- 31:07Speaker 1: the greatest hustles I've ever had in my whole life.
- 31:13Speaker 1: I was stealing back. I was still in stakes all
- 31:20Speaker 1: winter long. And the way you knew I had steaks.
- 31:22Speaker 1: I lived on the eighth floor. I hung the stakes
- 31:25Speaker 1: outside in the Kent State book bag, plastic book bag,
- 31:30Speaker 1: and I unrolled my wonder and I hung them out
- 31:32Speaker 1: the window on the thing. And that's how you know
- 31:33Speaker 1: I had steaks. I was selling stakes for two dollars. Yeah,
- 31:37Speaker 1: everybody walked by and see that, look up and see
- 31:39Speaker 1: that window bag hanging out the window. Because it's cold
- 31:42Speaker 1: is hell in the winter. So that was my freezer.
- 31:44Speaker 1: So I just kept steaks in there and sold it
- 31:46Speaker 1: for two dollars. So after the party, you know, I
- 31:48Speaker 1: had my foods I had, I had a restaurant I
- 31:51Speaker 1: opened up. After all the parties in my room taking
- 31:57Speaker 1: I was the only one work that I took orders
- 31:59Speaker 1: and cook. All right, we're moving on and everything that
- 32:07Speaker 1: one of the greatest hustles I ever had. All right,
- 32:10Speaker 1: let's get to this Big Sean story, because this is
- 32:15Speaker 1: shutting down. He's shutting down a whole rumor after a
- 32:18Speaker 1: picture of his egg plant was leaked to his close
- 32:21Speaker 1: friends group on Instagram uh and made its way around
- 32:24Speaker 1: social media over the weekend. This is what everybody was
- 32:27Speaker 1: talking about. Where huh the egg plant? What about it?
- 32:34Speaker 1: What you say? Where did he get it from? Are
- 32:36Speaker 1: you serious right now? Are you really serious? Right now?
- 32:41Speaker 1: You are not? He cannot be. So the story and
- 32:45Speaker 1: you'll understand what this means. The photo allegedly has Big
- 32:51Speaker 1: seawans again eggplant alongside a nine point four inch Nintendo
- 32:57Speaker 1: Switch game. When the picture hit the Shade Rooms Instagram page,
- 33:01Speaker 1: Big Sean commented, this is not me. But by that time,
- 33:04Speaker 1: congratulatory comments to Big Sean and his girlfriend janet Ico
- 33:09Speaker 1: were trending on Twitter. Big Sean maintains that he did
- 33:12Speaker 1: not post the picture. Apparently this was a big deal,
- 33:16Speaker 1: and explains why his name is Big Sean. Uh So
- 33:21Speaker 1: there you go. Now are you getting what eggplant means? Oh?
- 33:25Speaker 1: My nickname big Daddy. They don't have that emoji? Thought
- 33:36Speaker 1: or was it him? He's so cute? My emoji was
- 33:40Speaker 1: a thor Hammel. Really, so what would you do if
- 33:50Speaker 1: a photo like that gott Lee of you I really came.
- 33:58Speaker 1: I'm going to deny and say it ain't me. Yeah,
- 34:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna well, why my mom ain't long enough to
- 34:08Speaker 1: get back take self? It's too much just just be
- 34:12Speaker 1: a big black photo. I would have to have somebody
- 34:17Speaker 1: take my photo because I travet had taking a self
- 34:19Speaker 1: at one time. With that just close, nobody could tell
- 34:24Speaker 1: what it was. I need a selfish stick and then
- 34:26Speaker 1: I could take the picture. Gotta get gotta get back
- 34:31Speaker 1: off me. I'm just saying, I know all. I'm saying,
- 34:34Speaker 1: you got a bad guy to get up off me.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Shout out to Detroit Bigot big Yeah. Moving saw him
- 34:44Speaker 1: at the iHeart Music Festival. He was great on stage self.
- 34:48Speaker 1: All right, good news for TikTok users. We're all addicted
- 34:52Speaker 1: to it, whether we make videos on TikTok or enjoy
- 34:55Speaker 1: watching other people's videos. A folkesperson for the app has
- 34:58Speaker 1: confirmed that TikTok now allows users to create videos up
- 35:02Speaker 1: to ten minutes long, and hopes to at least even
- 35:06Speaker 1: more creative possibility. If you're a creative around the world,
- 35:09Speaker 1: son minutes to do your thing now and my son
- 35:13Speaker 1: incredible with that. You know how to edit it, do everything?
- 35:16Speaker 1: He got it? Can you monetize TikTok? Yeah, yeah, we
- 35:24Speaker 1: gotta go. Coming up at twenty minutes after the hour,
- 35:26Speaker 1: it is our Wellness Wednesday segment with our special guest,

- 36:57Speaker 1: a d Is there one success story in particular that
- 37:00Speaker 1: stands out to you? You know what? We just had
- 37:04Speaker 1: a recent guy by the name of Rashid. It's funny
- 37:07Speaker 1: because he came into office straight from his doctor's office
- 37:12Speaker 1: because he had just recently found out that he was
- 37:15Speaker 1: pre diabetic. His blood pressure was running real high, and
- 37:19Speaker 1: he's about thirty five pounds overweight, and he wanted to
- 37:22Speaker 1: know what could he do to kind of get himself together,
- 37:26Speaker 1: And we recommend the beer and full body plants, and
- 37:28Speaker 1: within twenty days, he is no longer pre diabetic. His
- 37:32Speaker 1: blood pressure is returned to normal and he's lost about
- 37:35Speaker 1: twenty five pounds, so it definitely has been a whole
- 37:39Speaker 1: complete do over for him and his body. Wow. Can
- 37:45Speaker 1: I tell you something now. I can tell you man
- 37:48Speaker 1: that I've heard this from people before, because what you
- 37:52Speaker 1: eat can get that a one C number down. Absolutely
- 37:56Speaker 1: got to get that number down, and you can do
- 37:58Speaker 1: it with this. And I tell you something else. My
- 38:00Speaker 1: favorite person was the woman that came on the Steve
- 38:04Speaker 1: on the Steve Talk Show, because you know, you know
- 38:07Speaker 1: on TV how you do makeovers ye before and after
- 38:11Speaker 1: and when they come around the corner after you look
- 38:13Speaker 1: just like it before. You know, this woman came around
- 38:20Speaker 1: that damn corner and I could not believe her. That's
- 38:24Speaker 1: the best one out And see, yeah we got and
- 38:28Speaker 1: hang on one second, ad we got more. We're talking
- 38:30Speaker 1: about this so you can get yourself together by summer
- 38:33Speaker 1: and get this d full body cleans in your life.
- 38:36Speaker 1: We'll be right back, because I took up all the
- 38:39Speaker 1: time talking my damn self. We'll be right back right
- 38:42Speaker 1: after this. You're listening show, ladies and gentlemen, we're back
- 38:49Speaker 1: in our special guests this morning as our longtime friend
- 38:52Speaker 1: or mister A d Dolphin who is the owner of
- 38:54Speaker 1: the world's leading online full body cleans. It is called
- 38:58Speaker 1: the de Herbs fully by the clans. Surely, well, you
- 39:02Speaker 1: know a d You've heard the saying a family that
- 39:05Speaker 1: prays together stays together. Well, all of us on this
- 39:09Speaker 1: show like to cleanse together, okay, meaning we've all done
- 39:14Speaker 1: the Derb's Bull Buddy clints at the same time, and
- 39:17Speaker 1: that's how we keep each other accountable. So I gotta
- 39:21Speaker 1: ask you. Do you see that a lot? Like in
- 39:23Speaker 1: groups and stuff, it's better to do it with someone
- 39:25Speaker 1: with a partner. Absolutely, So we literally having offices of
- 39:31Speaker 1: twenty five or more people doing the clans at once,
- 39:35Speaker 1: and I'm here to tell you it's nothing like an
- 39:38Speaker 1: accountability partner. They usually push you further than you would
- 39:43Speaker 1: have gotten on your own. So it's actually a beautiful
- 39:46Speaker 1: theme because you're getting healthier. It's always good to do
- 39:49Speaker 1: it with someone. Yeah, con test for it, and you
- 39:52Speaker 1: have to be accountable to someone, right, Yeah, So do
- 39:57Speaker 1: it surely with someone just ass fat or fatter. That's
- 40:03Speaker 1: what I try to so I'll be able to see
- 40:06Speaker 1: my results quick. I don't like doing it with then people.
- 40:10Speaker 1: It looks like that's still on it. Yeah, that's a
- 40:16Speaker 1: good point though, then people need cleans is what cleans
- 40:19Speaker 1: as well? Um, so a derbs has been around for
- 40:23Speaker 1: over fifteen years now and you've sold over get this number,
- 40:27Speaker 1: five million formulas. So that begs the question why has
- 40:32Speaker 1: de Herbs been so successful over the years. It's really
- 40:36Speaker 1: timpulturely it works. I mean, you're talking about a product
- 40:41Speaker 1: that's geared towards weight loss that's going to do exactly
- 40:44Speaker 1: what it says it's going to do. Think about the benefits.
- 40:48Speaker 1: We're talking about weight loss between ten to thirty pounds,
- 40:50Speaker 1: a huge boots to energy, stronger immune system, clearer skin.
- 40:54Speaker 1: You'll be able to focus and concentrate a lot better.
- 40:57Speaker 1: The de Earth full body cleans has been around for
- 41:00Speaker 1: fifteen years and have been changing live for fifteen years. Yeah,
- 41:07Speaker 1: and you're right. It is unlike other cleanses. You can
- 41:10Speaker 1: eat with it. You can eat your fresh fruits and
- 41:13Speaker 1: your fresh vegetables, and you know, I mean so and
- 41:17Speaker 1: that's a complaint of a lot of people with other cleanses.
- 41:19Speaker 1: They can't eat, they can't chew anything. So that's why
- 41:22Speaker 1: this one is so special and it's worked for all
- 41:25Speaker 1: these years. It's unlike any other cleans. That's all I
- 41:29Speaker 1: can tell you. We've all been on it. We've all
- 41:32Speaker 1: gained you know, better health from it and lost the
- 41:36Speaker 1: waste from it. So there you go, Steve Harvey Nation,

- 53:34Speaker 1: I'm here for a good time, not a long time, okay,
- 53:37Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been married for almost fifteen years,
- 53:41Speaker 1: and when I met my husband, I was twenty six
- 53:43Speaker 1: and he was thirty seven. He was more like a
- 53:46Speaker 1: father figure to me then. Back then, because I grew
- 53:49Speaker 1: up in a house full of women that were headstrong
- 53:52Speaker 1: and didn't need a man for anything, I was determined
- 53:56Speaker 1: to be different. So the first real man that offered
- 53:59Speaker 1: me a dreamline, I jumped at the opportunity. The fairy
- 54:02Speaker 1: tale was real for the first three years. Reality set
- 54:06Speaker 1: in and I started to have children and he started
- 54:09Speaker 1: stepping out on me. I used to follow him and
- 54:12Speaker 1: act a fool on him with my twins in the
- 54:14Speaker 1: back seat. Then it all stopped when he got an
- 54:18Speaker 1: incurable infection and had to tell me to go get tested.
- 54:22Speaker 1: Thank heavens, I was not affected or infected by his nastiness.
- 54:27Speaker 1: That was almost five years ago, and that's the last
- 54:30Speaker 1: time he touched me. We've been coexisting in this marriage
- 54:35Speaker 1: since then. We sleep in the same bedroom, but all
- 54:38Speaker 1: of his belongings are in the guest room, and he
- 54:40Speaker 1: shares a bathroom with our twins. They haven't heard us
- 54:44Speaker 1: arguing years, so I hope they're having a happy childhood.
- 54:48Speaker 1: The sacrifice was wearing on me and I needed some
- 54:51Speaker 1: good sex and attention from a man. So I got
- 54:54Speaker 1: a boyfriend two years ago. He's married too, but he's
- 54:57Speaker 1: ready to get a divorce. He is not as complacent
- 55:01Speaker 1: as I am, and he's pressuring me to leave my
- 55:03Speaker 1: home and be happy with him. I have to remind
- 55:06Speaker 1: him that we're together for a good time, not a
- 55:09Speaker 1: long time. He said, I'm wasting my life, and my
- 55:12Speaker 1: kids are aware of our dysfunctional marriage. I know all
- 55:15Speaker 1: of the cliches, like the grasses and greener on the
- 55:18Speaker 1: other side, but I've had a great time on the
- 55:21Speaker 1: other side, and the grass was nice. Would i'd be
- 55:25Speaker 1: selfish to leave my marriage and enjoy my life with
- 55:28Speaker 1: my new man? Well, I just got to say that
- 55:33Speaker 1: here we go again. You know you didn't ask us
- 55:36Speaker 1: our opinions two years ago when you decided to get
- 55:39Speaker 1: this boy friend, or when you were in this loveless,
- 55:43Speaker 1: crazy marriage, But now you're asking should you leave your
- 55:46Speaker 1: husband for him? I have to tell you this is
- 55:49Speaker 1: not a game. You are still married and you do
- 55:51Speaker 1: have kids. So why didn't you leave your husband when
- 55:54Speaker 1: he first started cheating on you, or when he brought
- 55:56Speaker 1: home that incurable infection that you called it? I mean
- 56:01Speaker 1: that was the time to pick up and get out.
- 56:03Speaker 1: I mean, now you're so called boyfriend who is still married,
- 56:07Speaker 1: I might add, who is pressuring you to leave your husband?
- 56:11Speaker 1: I mean for what This arrangement has been working for
- 56:14Speaker 1: you guys for years, which in and of itself is crazy.
- 56:18Speaker 1: But I say, if you're gonna leave, please don't do
- 56:21Speaker 1: it for this boyfriend. I mean, leave your husband and
- 56:25Speaker 1: your marriage because it's run its course, or because you
- 56:28Speaker 1: don't love your husband anymore and you want out. Those
- 56:31Speaker 1: are the reasons. You know. You would leave because he's
- 56:34Speaker 1: been cheating on you, because he brought home and incurable
- 56:37Speaker 1: infection to you, not because your boyfriend is pressuring you
- 56:42Speaker 1: and you got to think about it. Like your husband,
- 56:44Speaker 1: your new man is also a cheater, and chances are
- 56:47Speaker 1: he will cheat on you too. Remember he's cheating with
- 56:50Speaker 1: you right now. So in other words, you're not even
- 56:54Speaker 1: leaving your husband for something better. This is just a
- 56:58Speaker 1: different cheating situation. You need to think this one through
- 57:02Speaker 1: a lot more before you make any major decisions. I
- 57:06Speaker 1: do know your marriage isn't working, but you need to
- 57:09Speaker 1: think about this before you make any major moves like
- 57:12Speaker 1: you're thinking about Steve. Let me start my letter by laughing.
- 57:21Speaker 1: I have a totally different perspective here. I'm going to
- 57:28Speaker 1: share it with you and why I feel this way.
- 57:32Speaker 1: I'm not here for a good time. I'm here for
- 57:35Speaker 1: excuse me, I'm here for a good time, not a
- 57:38Speaker 1: long time. Well, lady, you wrote this noting this your title,
- 57:41Speaker 1: But I think you need to be thank all this.
- 57:44Speaker 1: I really really do, because I've got to. Let's just
- 57:48Speaker 1: deal with the facts. You've been married for almost fifteen years.
- 57:52Speaker 1: You was twenty six year Hunds was twenty seven. That's
- 57:55Speaker 1: eleven years older than you. So right now have fifteen years.
- 58:01Speaker 1: That makes your husband fifty two, and that makes her
- 58:05Speaker 1: forty one. Correct or do I have that right? Yeah?
- 58:10Speaker 1: Forty one fifty two, that's right. Yeah, you grown now.
- 58:15Speaker 1: He was more like a father figed to you back then.
- 58:17Speaker 1: He knew more than you. You grew up in the
- 58:19Speaker 1: house of headstrong women all that didn't act like they
- 58:22Speaker 1: didn't need a man, and you wanted to be different.
- 58:24Speaker 1: So the first real man you met that offered you
- 58:27Speaker 1: a dream life, you jumped out the opportunity and Lord
- 58:31Speaker 1: Ha Mercy, their fairy tale was born. Oh here it
- 58:35Speaker 1: is Cinderella. You know, the Slipper, snow White, Rapunzel. All
- 58:45Speaker 1: of them humped it, dumping your man had a little
- 58:50Speaker 1: lamp fairy Tale, Nita Baker one of my favorite songs,
- 58:57Speaker 1: fairy Tale, Lord Ha Mercy. The piano solo in that.
- 59:00Speaker 1: If you got time, look up Anita Banker's fairy Tale,
- 59:05Speaker 1: one of my favorite need to Banker songs, and listen
- 59:07Speaker 1: to the long version with that piano solo winning Lord
- 59:10Speaker 1: Have Mercy. It's worth a listen. Soul teacher Steve Harvey
- 59:13Speaker 1: just took him over the ship. That then reality set in.
- 59:19Speaker 1: I started to have children and he started stepping out
- 59:22Speaker 1: on me. Used to follow him and act the food
- 59:25Speaker 1: with the twins in the back seat. It all stopped
- 59:29Speaker 1: when he got an incurable infection and had to tell
- 59:33Speaker 1: me to go get tested. This is where we must stop.
- 59:37Speaker 1: Yeah at incurable infection. You you my ass. Part two
- 59:45Speaker 1: of Steve's responses coming up. It's twenty three minutes after
- 59:48Speaker 1: the hour of the subject for today's Strawberry Letter, I'm
- 59:50Speaker 1: here for a good time, not a long time. We'll
- 59:53Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening Steve
- 59:57Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, come on, let's recap
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. The subject I'm here for a good time,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: not a long time. I'm gonna do a recap, but
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: it's gonna be a quick one. Twenty six year old
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: girl marriage a thirty seven year old man who's more
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: like a father figure. She grew up in a house
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: full of women and they were all headstrong, and she
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: was determined to have a different life. The first real
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: man came along, treated a good She jumped out the
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: opportunity and it was a fairytale marriage. It all worked
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: out just fine. It was going great up into three years,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: and then she had babies, and then she had twins,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: and then he started cheating on a stepping out. She
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: used to follow him with them twins in the back seat,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: and at a food it all stopped. And this is
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: where we stopped at this ladder. Last time it all
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: stopped when he got an incurable infection and had to
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: tell me to go get tested. Thank Heavens, I was
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: not affected or infected by his nastiness. That was five
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: years ago, and that was the last time he touched me. Hallelujah.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: This is where the letter took the turn that I
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: needed it too. Once you come home and you tell
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: me I got to go get tested, once you say
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: that all bets is off, Once you come in that
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: damn house and you tell me that I got to
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: go get tested, and I know what you're talking about,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: all bets is off. But now you'd bought your ass
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: in here with the one thing that they ain't got
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: no damn cure for what. Now you haven't told me this.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: I really don't know what my reaction gonna be. But
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: let's thank God that times are changing with this, that
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: people have opportunity to live long, healthy lives now. So
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: let's let's thank God for that right. So appreciate that.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: But now that's the last time he touched I know
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: gonna hear where it is because if I go down here,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: I get tested and I'm clear clean, that's God's grace
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: in my life. What you're not touch me, I hit
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: the way I'm shocked at That was almost five years ago.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: That's list time it touched me. We've been coexisting in
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: this marriage. That's not gonna happen. This is old which,
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: but you've ben't take your nasty ass somewhere else. We've
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: been coexisting in this marriage since then. We sleep in
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: the same bedroom. What didn't you tell me I had
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: to go get tested? Why are you and I are
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: sleeping in the same bed for what you bet? Now?
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: You're told had not hit the back of my leg.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: This is how disconnected we are. Your hand can't sketch
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: scrape across my back, not sin. All his belongings are
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: in the guest room, and he shares a bathroom without twins.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: They haven't heard us all getting years. So I hope
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: they're having a happy childhood. Well they probably are. The
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: sacrifice was wearing on me. And here's the part where
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: I agree with I needed some good sex and attention
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: from a man. Well, I don't agree with that part,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: but I do agree with you I needed some good
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: sex and attention. I agree with that one one hundred percent.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: So I got a boyfriend two years ago. He's married too,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: but he's ready to get a divorce. Now I understand
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: what happened here. You're in a bad situation, you still
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: have a feelings, and so you stepped out. I understand that.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: And you stepped out with a married man, which leads
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: me to something that somebody told me one time. He said, facts,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: change ain't no robbery. I'm taking something that be long
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: as somebody else, and you're giving me something that be
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: long as somebody else. That exchange is not a robbery.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: So now this man is ready to get a divorce,
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: and he's not complacent as I am, and he's pressing
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: me to leave my home and be happy with him.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: I have to remind him that we're together for a
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: good time, not a long time. Well what is your
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: plan though? You're not having a relationship with your husband
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: who came in and gave you an incurable disease, and
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: this is the one you're having a relationship with. He said,
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: I'm wasting my life and my kids aware of our
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: dysfunctional marriage. They probably are. I know all the cliches,
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: like the grass isn't greener on the other side, Well
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: that's not true. The grass is greener wherever you water
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: in it. You water in the other side of the fence,
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: so it is greener over there. Because that's where you're
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: water in it. All ain't got no water in y'all marriage.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: He already down that share in the bar room with
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: the twins. Daddy, you stink, you know, stuff like that
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: getting said up the hallway, so you know what I'm saying.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: But I've had a great time on the other side,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: and the grass was nice because that's where you water
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: in it. Would I be selfish to leave my marriage
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: and enjoy my life with my new man? What's selfish
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: in it? You have an incuble disease that a man
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: gave you five years ago. Y'all have no relationship whatsoever.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: Y'all don't argue because he can't believe you're letting him
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: stay there. You have a chance of happiness. I personally
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: would take that chancel. I jump on it. I take
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: a shot at happy. I'd at least get I get
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: my husband. I don't see why not. But that guy
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: that he wants a divorce, all right up? Please me
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: and you do the Strawberry letter so people can see
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: both sides exactly why we do the Strawbay Let him
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: leave and then okay, answer. Please leave us your comments
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: on today's letter on Instagram and Steve Harvey FM and
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: check out the Strawberry Letter podcast undermand Up. Next it
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: is Junior and Sports Talk right after this. You're listening
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, it is time now
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: for Junior and Sports Talk, which you got Junior All right, Shirley.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: Before I do that, let me just remind everybody in
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: the Dallas Fort Worth area coming to the Texas State
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: Theater April first, April Fools Comedy jam My Man, Earthquake,
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: Bill Bellamy, Bruce Bruce, Ryan Davis, and Sean Tay Wayne's Man.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: We're gonna be into building a April Fools comedy show. Well,
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: get your tickets and ticketmaps dot com. All right. With
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: that being said, little HBCU Sports News South Carolina States
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: women basketball coach, I've you heard about this? Ardre Smith
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: was five last Thursday, a day after she sued the
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: school in a federal court allegend Title nine violations and
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: discriminary practices at the university. Now. Smith has led the
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: women's team for the last four years, okay. When she
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: was dismissed, she fithers suit asking for a response to
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: the Freedom of Information Act request in January, seeking documentation
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: that South Carolina State gave more resources to the male athletes, coaches,
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: and teams than it's women's program players and coaches, so
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: that is she's also saying that she's alleged that she
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: was paid thirty thousand less than the South Carolina States
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: men's basketball coach when she was hired. Throughout her tenors,
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: Smith has said that she was provided fuel resources than
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: the men's program at the historical was Back college, so
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: visiting men's teams changed in the women's locker room. And
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: then the suit said that while the pumas for the
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: women's game were not permitted to use the men's locker
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: room at the arena, So that's what she's suing forth,
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: All that's true. I believe it's. Now here's a deal. Now,
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: once you sue the school you cannot work in, you
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: do know that they Yeah, that would be a problems
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: that's normally immediately right out. Yeah that right after you
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: sue us, you know you ain't working him. So I'm
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: not gonna Yeah, it would be no shocker here. But
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: do I agree with the sister. I think so, because
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: that's the problem with women's soccer, that's the problems with
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: women's sports all the way around and the way they
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: judge it. As you get paid less, you have less attendance,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: it's less facilities. The facilities for the women are different.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: It's different. There's a huge disparity, the disparity when it
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: comes to the way they treat female athletes versus male athletes,
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: and that has to be corrected because at the bottom line,
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: they are athletes, and so why should you be treated less? Absolutely,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: but let me tell you something. Them girls in there, man,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: they bawl it. And I would bet money I had
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: a high school got kid talking to me. Man. Our
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: team accrushed them girls. No you won't, you won't. Oh,
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: no you won't. No, you won't. They're gonna hand you
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: your ass. Boy. They can bother, oh y'all, Oh, y'all
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: can out leap them. But they run in real plays,
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: they got real sets. Yeah, they're gonna do something to y'all.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Y'all go out there with them pro girls. You fin
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: to get your feelings hurt because they threes is legit.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: Jim girls, get your ankles broke too. I'd have seen
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: they got handles. Yes, well we've be hird, all right,
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: thank you Junior. Coming up at the top, of the hour. Okay,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Steve the nephew has some questions for you. You want
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: to asking. We'll get into that right at all. You're
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: listening to show, all right, So timmy um I mentioned
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: earlier you wanted to ask you your uncle something here.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: You got some questions. This question, Shirley, This question is
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: for uncle Steve, but it's also for everybody. All Right,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: we know what we know what time it is. If
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: you had to give up something for lent, if that
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: is something that you practiced, what would you be giving up?
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: Its yell? What would you be giving up? Well, give
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: up something. I've never done it before because I don't
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: really understand what giving up for means. But if I
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: gave up something for lint, I would give up the
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: LT roller. I'm just and just let have its way.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Yeah he said this fool said roll off my clothes.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: Yeah I would. You're gonna get have its way. I'm
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: gonna give up the net roller for forty days, no
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: more roller for me, because he's better. You know what
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: I'm really I've never I've never known what that was.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: Is that for Catholics? It's for Christians? Yeah? I did
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: it when I was little. Yeah, we used to do it.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: Give up the sun. Oh that's Oh, that's for advanced Christianity.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: The last thing I gave up with advanced. Yeah, I
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: think that's for because I I just do entry level Christianity.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: I'm not at that. But you're gonna give up the
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: roller rolling. That's brilliant. And let Len have his way though,
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: and just in that way I can participate that something
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: I can do and you know, and complete and just
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: let Lent have his way. Next question, junior, Yeah, I
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: thought about this time. You know, I'm gonna give it up.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: Now I'm already doing it. So I've already been given up.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: But I'm giving up kissing. I mean here by myself already.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: Ain't nobody to kiss mighty well for another for the day.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: He's not kissing nobody now, I'm already I'm already actually inland.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: I can't get up. Well, I'm already here. Every days,
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: I don't know what I've been none the day, go
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: by home kissing? Well, you you're married about myself? Did
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: married too? Yeah? Yeah, I'm already not kissing now. So
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: I leave a house, I got to go all the
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: way back upstairs kiss upon I leave you leaving Steve. Yeah, baby,
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: I'll talk to you. Lady. You're forgetting something. Oh man,
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: you got to go back up there, not for that
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: walk I yeah, Sley probably shriving up, pletic, probably sugar.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: So you're just not gonna eat them. No, I can't
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: eat stuff without shirt. Call them coming your way, or
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: we're giving up philantic. You had to give up something,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: what would it be? Maybe no alcohol? But then that
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: won't work because yesterday was fast Tuesday and then I
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: had swamping right back Hurricane daquery type. Wow, come back
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: to me. I'm come back to you. What you gonna
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: do something? Yeah, you know I'm gonna give up winning
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: drawls for that many days, you know, just feel for
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: the days of no drawls. I think I'm gonna be
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: a lot more comfortable. I ain't done just commando Geronimo
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: or whatever they call it. Yeah, I'm not. I'm not
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: gonna be dude. I'm just going too many people around me.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: You're gonna be uncomfortable. That's just it's just I don't
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: want y'all to be that uncomfortable. You can wear pants.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna wear pants. I wear pants every day, But
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: you say you don't want us to be uncomfortable. Nobody
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: gonna know you ain't got draws on? Though? Who who's
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: not gonna know? If I don't have no draws on?
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: The secret is out. You're gonna quit acting like you
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: This man didn't go worry or something. Man quit all
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: that I ain't got I'll tell you right now, I
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: got draws on. You know that? Thank you for damn show.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna also give up cooking since you sugar boring,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: oh man, already, Well when you're about to make Nesto cry,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: but tears of joy, sheer joy? This is you say, Nestar,
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: I will give up cooking. This is what he's gonna do.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: Show what mop in his hands? All right? Listen, um,
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: we'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: Talk about millions at twenty minutes after right after this
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: ten million dollars. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: What would you do if you won ten million dollars? Twice? Twice? Okay?
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: Just three years after winning a ten million dollars lottery one,
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: Hernandez Uniondale, New York has done it again. He purchased
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: his latest lottery ticket at a stopping shop. In Himpstead,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: New York, and he cashed out his ten million dollars
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: ticket for six point fifty one million. Hernandez issued a
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: statement saying that he's still trying to spend the first
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: ten million that he won back in twenty nineteen, so
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: he's one too. Now, Wow do we need Wow? Who
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: doesn't ask your question one at a time, Shirley, If
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: you had twenty million cash, non taxable, would you quit
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: this job? Probably? Yes, I'd spend more time with my family,
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: my grandkids, my daughter, all that. Yes, yes, I would call. Yes,
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: it's just a matter of what time. Yeah, as soon
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: as it hit the bank. Yes, I thank you, Junior.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: Twenty million. You're leaving the job with a new headline,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: stunting with a new headline. Tommy, I'm calling them white
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: folks on the weight on there. Well, I'm going to
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: get the money. I'm calling that. I ain't coming back
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: up in him. Yes, that'd be yes? Are you no?
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: I'm staying work tomorrow. Yeah, twenty million is not enough
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: for you to wait? What else do you won't? What
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: do you want? All right? We gotta go. I want
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: to play around And would you rather right after this?
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: You'd rather come to work. That's what you're listening to
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: morning show all right. Time now, guys, for would you
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: rather here we go? Would you rather be the ugliest
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: person in the room, or would you rather you've been
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: you've been doing? Or would you rather be the least
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: funny in the room? There you go? Yeah, here you go, Tommy.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna gone like I'm gon over here with y'all.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: That's what I thought, you've been over here. The only
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: confusion is in your mind what you want to be
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: a R b ugliest person in the room or the
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: least funniest person in the room. What you want to be?
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna be here first. That's not an option. Okay,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: all right, I think we're clear on that one. Would
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: you rather have dinner with your ex? Or live in
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: a tiny house? In a tiny house on the corner
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: of the wolf of the tiny house? With that point
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: the only thing I got to sit on. Yeah, put

- 1:17:59Speaker 1: when you're with your being to be I'm being to
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: be shriveled up every day, looking like a prone all
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: day day. I'm chrome, baby, I'm gonna connect my phone. Yeah,
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: I ain't up to I'm good, I ain't up to know.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: Oh I can connect it. But I'd rather shrivel up. Yeah,
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: on your phone, hey, dog, But I'm gonna tell you
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: I got some partners that call while I go. Dog,
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: I'm on to speak in the car with my girl.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: I have to tell him that, Yeah, you have immediately
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: got some partners. Why I have to say that too.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: I have to say that too. All right, let it

- 1:18:39Speaker 1: Would you guys rather a sixteen hour road trip in
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: an RV or a four hour flight on Spirit Airline.

- 1:18:50Speaker 1: we're gonna get on this road for st I'm gonna
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: getting in that RV for sixteen stopping at truck stops.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: All that you're only on Spirit for four hours. Gotta
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: fight five we're getting you know who else on that
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: plane though. That's the problem with speed, it's the other customers. Yeah,
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: it's four hours of that. Especially me sitting back there,
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: I don't saying what a funny thing I've seen you

- 1:19:23Speaker 1: of the day and at forty nine minutes after the hour,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: of course, Steve Harvey, we'll have some closing remarks for
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: us right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: Here we are last break of the day, guys on
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: this hump day, and it's been a good day. Thanks
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: to Adie Dolphin for stopping by, keeping us healthy with
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: the herbs as always. And uh, Steve, you have some
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: clothing for us this fine Wednesday hump day. Say no,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't Sully, I don't have any
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: closing remarks today. I was wondering about that on the
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: commercial break and I didn't come up with anything. I
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: was trying to be fine out something that I could
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: be inspirational to people. But sometimes let me just go
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: at it this way, I need to inspire myself. So
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: and so what I've decided, Oh, here's something I can
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: share with you. I was on Sunday. I was stumbing
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: through the channels. I was up and I was watching
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: listening to a Bishop Jake's sermon on computer Sunday, and
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: then I listened to a Joel Oldstein and I was
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: stumbing through the TV and I ran up into a
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: pastor that I've never seen before. A white guy had
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: on jeans the churches in Georgia somewhere, and I saw
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: a guy in the orders with a baseball hat on.
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: It was one of those types of and I just
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: had an interesting name. I don't remember it, but his
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: sermon was about my cup runneth Over. I'm gonna get
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: this guy's name, because this guy, I really really liked him.
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: I'd never heard of him, never seen anybody. Just stopped
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: through it and he was preaching about my cup runneth Over,
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: and I just felt like he was talking directly to me.
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: But as he got to talking, I found that he
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: was talking to so many people, because you know, I
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: think when you think of your cup runneth Over, you
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: think yourself of having too many things. And I think
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: when you think of your life in terms of things,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: you miss the blessing of what your life is actually
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: full of If you are a person who has loved
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: ones around you often, that's a blessing. If you're a
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: person who has your health in check, that's a blessing.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: If you are a person who has enough to eat
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: and that's extra in the refrigerator, that's a blessing. If
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: you're a person who when you get your check, you
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: have enough to make a stop at a fast food play,
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: or buy yourself a game, or watch a movie, or
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: go shopping, that's a blessing. But you gotta quit comparing
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: your cup to other people's cup. See Oprah's cup is huge.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: Your cup may not be that being, but your cup
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: can still over runneth If you look at life the
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: right way, your cup runneth over. If you have hope
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: for tomorrow, your cup is full. Do you know that
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: there are people who have written their life off as
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: hopeless and taking their life. The fact that you've never
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: considered that, the fact that you have a chance for tomorrow,
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: Your cup is full, man, it really is. If you
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: have food in your cabinet, your cup is full. If
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: you've got if you have anything that you can be
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: grateful for, if you can find yourself to be grateful,
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: for something. Your cup is full, your cup runneth over. See,
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: I thought he was just talking to me for a minute,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: because my cup runneth over. I'm really fool, man, I
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: really really am. But as I listened to him carefully,
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: I saw more people in that congregation raise than they
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: had and starting to clap. And then he made the
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: obvious statement that summed it up. He said, you ain't
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: got to be rich for your cup to runneth over.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: That sealed the deal, And that's what had everybody's attention,
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: because we have a tendency to think that it's all
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: just about economics or money or extra money. But it's
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: extra love, it's extra relationships, it's extra time, it's extra
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: it's extra feelings, it's extra friendships, it's extra everything. Man,
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: that's what that means. And I was just caught up
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: in this sermon. Man, when I get this guy's name,
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: I'm a share with you. But man, and it also
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: when you wake up and you say, my cup brothers over,
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: it sends such a feeling of gratitude through your body
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: that it makes you feel better. Y'all, instead of looking
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: at what you don't have, think of the things that
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: you do have. Let's say you're on the market for
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: a house and you stay in an apartment right now,
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: or you just want a bigger apartment than one you have.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: Can you remember the other one though? Can you remember
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: one you had before that? I know you want a
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: new car, but let me ask you something. Can you
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: remember the time when you really wanted the one you
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: had because the one you had before that wasn't as
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: good as this one? Remember that? Can you remember that?
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: Can you remember when you didn't have any children and
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: now the one you have as difficult is child rearing
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: can be? Then you look at the blessing that walks
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: past you every day. Can you realize, ladies, that you
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: made that human being. You did that. If it wasn't
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: for you, that person does not exist. You did that.
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: That's major, man, that's major. That you're a mother, that's major.
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: Fellas the fact that you can provide for your family
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: and come in there and secure them a place to stay,
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: food to eat, TVs to watch, they talking on phones, brothers,
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: that's major. You've accomplished something. You're a man. You're not
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: only taking care of yourself, You're taking care of yourself
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: and everybody. You're responsible for your cup runneth over, you fool,
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: you're doing a full time man size job. Your cup
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: runneth over. I don't care who you are. If you
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: look at it the right way, I bet you your
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: cup runneth over. Start being grateful for what you have,
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: stop looking at what you don't have. That's my clothes
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: and remark today And if you did didn't like that one,
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: I don't know what we're trying getting tomorrow, because we'll
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: be here, Lord William, we'll just try another one tomorrow.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: Have a great day, tom guy. Loved you from you.
