- 3:25Speaker 3: the forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 3:29Speaker 3: It is official. Donald Trump is announced a major meeting
- 3:32Speaker 3: with Vladimir Putin. It's a high stakes meeting over the
- 3:36Speaker 3: Ukraine War and is certainly one that will be a
- 3:39Speaker 3: big part of his legacy. Even Russians are now cheering
- 3:43Speaker 3: Vladimir Putin's invitation to Alaska, and there does seem to
- 3:47Speaker 3: be real optimism, as NATO's security general says they are
- 3:52Speaker 3: optimistic about Trump meeting with Putin as well. Zelensky also
- 3:56Speaker 3: getting in on the action, saying, quote, we will not
- 3:59Speaker 3: let Russia deceived the US now. President Trump announced this
- 4:04Speaker 3: via his platform True Social that he's gonna meet with
- 4:07Speaker 3: Vladimir Putin on Friday, August fifteenth in Alaska, marking the
- 4:11Speaker 3: first face to face summit between the two since twenty nineteen,
- 4:16Speaker 3: and the first such US hosted summit of a leader
- 4:19Speaker 3: from Russia since nineteen eighty eight. The purpose very simple.
- 4:24Speaker 3: The summit aims to discuss ending the war in Ukraine,
- 4:27Speaker 3: and Trump even hinted the deal could involve some swapping
- 4:31Speaker 3: of territories quote unquote.
- 4:34Speaker 4: Now.
- 4:34Speaker 3: The meeting follows the deadline Trump set around August eighth
- 4:37Speaker 3: for Putin to agree to a cease fire or face
- 4:40Speaker 3: major secondary sanctions, though no concrete seas fire agreement was
- 4:45Speaker 3: reached by then. The Ukrainian position is this President Zelensky
- 4:50Speaker 3: firmly declaring that Ukraine will not seed any territory. He
- 4:55Speaker 3: emphasized that any peace deal must include Ukraine and be
- 5:00Speaker 3: just and lasting. Now Europe is also getting in on
- 5:04Speaker 3: this action. Leaders from the EU, including France, Germany, the UK, Italy, Poland,
- 5:11Speaker 3: Finland and the European Commission, demanded that Ukrainians must be
- 5:16Speaker 3: part of the negotiations and fiercely opposed any force territorial
- 5:21Speaker 3: changes when it comes to Ukraine. Then there's the diplomatic
- 5:26Speaker 3: pressure that is coming in. NATO's Security General said, Trump
- 5:30Speaker 3: will be quote testing Putin in the meeting a crucial
- 5:34Speaker 3: gauge of Putin's seriousness towards the issue of peace. So far,
- 5:39Speaker 3: he has not really been in favorite peace at all,
- 5:42Speaker 3: and that's part of why this meeting is so vitally important.
- 5:46Speaker 3: There is even the prospecting, certainly in the media, for
- 5:50Speaker 3: the inclusion of Zelenski. While the meeting is currently bilateral,
- 5:55Speaker 3: the White House says they have quote not ruled out
- 5:57Speaker 3: a trilateral summit including However, as of now, there has
- 6:02Speaker 3: been no formal invitation that has been extended to Zolensky.
- 6:07Speaker 3: And you may ask yourself the question why my White
- 6:10Speaker 3: House insiders are telling me they believe that it's time
- 6:13Speaker 3: for Donald Trump to be in the room with Putin
- 6:16Speaker 3: to see where they are and if they are even
- 6:18Speaker 3: close to a real possibility of peace. Before you bring
- 6:22Speaker 3: Zelensky into the room. There's also things that need to
- 6:26Speaker 3: be said between the President United States of American and
- 6:28Speaker 3: Vladimir Putin on what ramfications there will be on Russia
- 6:33Speaker 3: if they do not come to the table and actually
- 6:36Speaker 3: advocate for peace. Which brings me back to Zelensky. Zolensky
- 6:40Speaker 3: saying on Sunday that his country will not let Russia
- 6:44Speaker 3: deceive the US as this meeting between the two looms,
- 6:47Speaker 3: saying quote, of course, our team is working with the
- 6:50Speaker 3: United States. Not a single day goes by without communication
- 6:53Speaker 3: on how to ensure real peace. We understand Russia's intention
- 6:57Speaker 3: to try to deceive America. We will not allow out this.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Zelensky went on to say, quote, I greatly value the
- 7:04Speaker 3: determination with which President Trump is committed to bringing an
- 7:08Speaker 3: end to the killing in this war that coming from
- 7:11Speaker 3: his official office. Now, in his first few months back
- 7:14Speaker 3: in office, Trump and his administration have push for an
- 7:17Speaker 3: end to the war in Ukraine. Unfortunately, Vladimir Putin seemed
- 7:21Speaker 3: not interested in that at all. Then, Trump said last
- 7:24Speaker 3: week he's going to meet with Putin in Alaska and
- 7:26Speaker 3: hosting him for the talks and also letting him know
- 7:29Speaker 3: what the real landscape looks like moving forward, the highly
- 7:33Speaker 3: anticipated meeting between myself and President of the United States
- 7:37Speaker 3: of America and President Vladimir Putin of Russia will take
- 7:40Speaker 3: place next Friday in the Great State of Alaska. Further
- 7:44Speaker 3: details to follow. Thank you for your attention to this matter,
- 7:48Speaker 3: Trump said in the True Social Platform. In the Sunday address,
- 7:51Speaker 3: Zelensky also said that each day many people are giving
- 7:55Speaker 3: their lives, but the sole root cause of these killings
- 7:58Speaker 3: is Putin's desire to win a war and manipulate everyone
- 8:02Speaker 3: he comes in contact with, Zelenski adding, we in Ukraine
- 8:06Speaker 3: know Russia well, and that is why, in extremely difficult
- 8:10Speaker 3: circumstances Ukrainians have endured more than three years of full
- 8:14Speaker 3: scale war. We will certainly defend our state and our independence.
- 8:18Speaker 3: I think everyone who is helping, which brings us back
- 8:21Speaker 3: to the legacy aspect of this meeting. There's no doubt
- 8:25Speaker 3: this will be a big part of Donald Trump's legacy.
- 8:28Speaker 3: And the question is does he have enough leverage over
- 8:31Speaker 3: Vladimir Putin to get this deal done, because it's very
- 8:34Speaker 3: clear that Vladimir Putin's not coming in looking for peace. Well,
- 8:38Speaker 3: we know how successful the President has been in the
- 8:41Speaker 3: past at getting other countries to do deals together, and
- 8:45Speaker 3: there's a very good chance of the man who is
- 8:47Speaker 3: the master of the art of the deal. Hopefully we'll
- 8:50Speaker 3: be able to save lives and get this deal done now.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Story number two, Cashpattel seems to be cleaning house at
- 8:58Speaker 3: the FBI. Yes, yes, that's exactly what is happening now
- 9:02Speaker 3: is Patel has decided is time to make sure he
- 9:05Speaker 3: has good people working there. We're into divine went on
- 9:09Speaker 3: Maria Bartiromo's show on Fox News Sunday and had this
- 9:12Speaker 3: to say about what's going on at the FBI. You
- 9:16Speaker 3: also hear some audio from Dan Bongino and Cash Pttel
- 9:20Speaker 3: in an earlier interview they did at the very beginning,
- 9:22Speaker 3: I want you to listen carefully to what they're saying
- 9:24Speaker 3: about what we're doing now.
- 9:26Speaker 5: To get to the bottom of something like January sixth,
- 9:28Speaker 5: in the pipe bomber case, for example, you need three things.
- 9:31Speaker 5: You need people, you need information, and you need people
- 9:35Speaker 5: with information. I'll allow the public to put that together
- 9:38Speaker 5: and just wait and you'll see nothing we're doing. Nothing
- 9:42Speaker 5: is by accident.
- 9:43Speaker 4: Dan, and I've already told the FBI every employee that
- 9:46Speaker 4: acted appropriately. We are going to defend you to the hill, literally,
- 9:50Speaker 4: no matter the consequences. And that was FBI Director Cash
- 9:53Speaker 4: Purtel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino with me and my
- 9:56Speaker 4: exclusive on the FBI back in May earlier this year.
- 10:00Speaker 4: As more heads rolled at the FBI this past week,
- 10:03Speaker 4: former FBI Acting Director Brian Driscoll and Special Agent Walter
- 10:07Speaker 4: Giardina were forced out, among others. Forced out. Driscoll oversaw
- 10:12Speaker 4: the January sixth investigation, while Giordina worked on cases against
- 10:16Speaker 4: President Trump and Peter Navarro, the trade executive in the
- 10:19Speaker 4: White House who was ultimately convicted and sent to prison.
- 10:23Speaker 4: During me now with more on all of this as
- 10:25Speaker 4: near close Palmist and Fox News contributor Miranda Devine, Miranda,
- 10:29Speaker 4: great to see you. Literally, it's been a decade of
- 10:32Speaker 4: scandals led by the Democrats. But first get you you
- 10:35Speaker 4: want to get your take on these FBI changes. First
- 10:38Speaker 4: they promoted Driscoll and then they asked him to leave.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Yes, and also Stephen Jensen and Walter Giardina, and these
- 10:46Speaker 1: people were all involved in the politicization of the FBI
- 10:51Speaker 1: under Joe Biden and Christopher Ray, attacking and persecuting Trump.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Allies and people who had worked for Trump, including the
- 11:02Speaker 1: Peter Navarro and Steve Bannon being jailed for contempt of
- 11:07Speaker 1: Nancy Pelosi effectively and the January sixth defendants. Stephen Jensen
- 11:13Speaker 1: was in charge of the most over zealous prosecution persecution
- 11:20Speaker 1: investigation of these Trump allies, and so I think it
- 11:26Speaker 1: was long overdue.
- 11:27Speaker 5: Really.
- 11:28Speaker 1: I was surprised that they lasted as long as they did.
- 11:31Speaker 1: But I think it's great that finally Cash Patel has
- 11:35Speaker 1: cleaned house. And I assume and your interview with Patel
- 11:41Speaker 1: and Dan Bongino is the only record of this, But
- 11:45Speaker 1: there was method in the madness that there was a
- 11:48Speaker 1: reason to keep them close for the first six months
- 11:51Speaker 1: and now to remove them summarily.
- 11:54Speaker 4: Marie, do what's your chake and what we're seeing? Are
- 11:57Speaker 4: we finally seeing some signals of some accountability. We've been
- 12:00Speaker 4: waiting for accountability from the Russia collusion nonsense to the
- 12:04Speaker 4: impeachments of Trump, the laptop from how how do you
- 12:08Speaker 4: see things now?
- 12:09Speaker 1: That's a really good question, Maria, and I think we're
- 12:11Speaker 1: seeing really positive signs. There just seems to be a systematic,
- 12:16Speaker 1: very orderly procession of investigations and subpoenas and grand juries.
- 12:25Speaker 1: We saw on Friday that Leticia James, the Attorney General
- 12:30Speaker 1: of New York, who prosecuted Trump every which way she
- 12:33Speaker 1: could find, as well as the notorious Adam Schiff, who
- 12:39Speaker 1: of course was now is a Senator, but then was
- 12:43Speaker 1: a congressman who led a lot of the Russia hoax
- 12:47Speaker 1: nonsense back in Trump's first term, and is really somebody
- 12:52Speaker 1: like Letitia James who continues to mouth the refrain no
- 12:56Speaker 1: one is above the law. Well, they've found out that
- 13:00Speaker 1: they're not above the law. Because Pam Bondi, the Attorney
- 13:04Speaker 1: General appointed on Thursday night Ed Martin as the special
- 13:10Speaker 1: Attorney to investigate these two, he can bring up grand
- 13:15Speaker 1: juries wherever he likes, and he's done so. Grand Juries
- 13:20Speaker 1: are looking at Adam Schiff and Leticia James in Maryland
- 13:24Speaker 1: and in Virginia on allegations of mortgage fraud, also bank
- 13:29Speaker 1: fraud and wire fraud. And these charges, if convicted on them,
- 13:35Speaker 1: they would serve up to thirty years in jail. So
- 13:38Speaker 1: it's a serious accountability.
- 13:41Speaker 3: A serious accountability, that is all that we're asking for here,
- 13:45Speaker 3: is it? You take a look at all of this
- 13:47Speaker 3: and you say, were their actual laws that were broken.
- 13:51Speaker 3: That is what Miranda Devine is saying, is a real
- 13:54Speaker 3: possibility that there are real laws that were broken, real
- 13:57Speaker 3: corruption that we can clearly see. And because there is
- 14:02Speaker 3: real corruption, there are real laws that may have been broken,
- 14:05Speaker 3: there should be accountability. This is all that the President
- 14:09Speaker 3: United States of America has been asking for, which is, hey, FBI,
- 14:15Speaker 3: do your job. Take a look at all of these things,
- 14:18Speaker 3: see what happened, and if there is something there, hold
- 14:22Speaker 3: those accountable for their actions. Now, you look at the
- 14:26Speaker 3: weaponization of our government, the weaponization of our deep state.
- 14:30Speaker 3: You look at how it was weaponized to take out
- 14:32Speaker 3: political opponents. You'll get Letitia James. You look at those
- 14:35Speaker 3: in around Biden. You look at so many that were
- 14:39Speaker 3: just involved in incredible levels of corruption, and they all
- 14:43Speaker 3: thought they could get away with it because no one
- 14:45Speaker 3: would ever come knocking. Remember, they were the ones that
- 14:48Speaker 3: were knocking on the doors, raiding people's homes, even going
- 14:52Speaker 3: into the President of the United States of America's house.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Never ever forget that.
