- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like theming bus bus things and it's not good.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Steve to mother, stay don't joy. You gotta turn arm.
- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turn them out, turn love, got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn out to turn the water the water. Come
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your thing. Uh huh, I show will a
- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You all listening to the voice, come
- 2:06Speaker 1: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey Man
- 2:09Speaker 1: got a radio show. How good is God? Hum? Think
- 2:12Speaker 1: about it? Just take a slight inventory of your own
- 2:15Speaker 1: life and say it to yourself when you get through,
- 2:17Speaker 1: how good is God? Think of all the small things,
- 2:21Speaker 1: all this because that's him. You breathe him. That's him.
- 2:24Speaker 1: You steal him. That's him. You got another chance, that's him.
- 2:30Speaker 1: You ain't out of here. That's him. You got any
- 2:33Speaker 1: measure of health, that's him. You think it's more to
- 2:36Speaker 1: it than it really is. That it already showed up
- 2:39Speaker 1: to be. That's him. All of that. You got any
- 2:42Speaker 1: dreams or aspirations, you dream of other things, that's him.
- 2:46Speaker 1: All that, that's him, that's him. Him, clothes you got.
- 2:49Speaker 1: That's him every time you eat. That's why they had
- 2:52Speaker 1: this thing called you say your grace. That's him. That's him, man,
- 2:56Speaker 1: that's him. It's amazing when you take a small inventory
- 3:00Speaker 1: how you find out how big God really is in
- 3:02Speaker 1: your life. Now, the more you turn yourself over to him,
- 3:05Speaker 1: the bigger he can be. For you. See, he'll only
- 3:07Speaker 1: be as big as you let him. It's one thing
- 3:10Speaker 1: about God. Now, he's a gentleman. He can make you
- 3:13Speaker 1: do anything. You know. You get too big for him,
- 3:18Speaker 1: you know you you you you lose your humbleness. He
- 3:21Speaker 1: can humble you. Now. God created man with the power
- 3:27Speaker 1: of choice. We're the only creature he created that. He
- 3:31Speaker 1: gave us the total power of choice when we mate,
- 3:33Speaker 1: who we mate with. You know everything, all of it. Man,
- 3:39Speaker 1: it's a choice. What we want to be, how much
- 3:41Speaker 1: you want to make, Where we want to live, what
- 3:43Speaker 1: climate we want to live in. We can live in
- 3:45Speaker 1: cold climates, hot climates. You know, we speak different languages.
- 3:49Speaker 1: You can go learn another language. A bear can't do
- 3:53Speaker 1: nothing but be a bear. Is he can't go learn
- 3:57Speaker 1: how to be a fox. He can't go learn how
- 4:01Speaker 1: to be an otter. He just can't an ostrich is
- 4:03Speaker 1: an ostrich man. He can't come out of here and
- 4:06Speaker 1: fight like a lion. A lion is a lion. A
- 4:09Speaker 1: lion eat meat. He can't eat vegetables. I don't care
- 4:12Speaker 1: how much meat ain't around. He'll lay down and pull
- 4:15Speaker 1: up out of here and die because he can't eat grass.
- 4:19Speaker 1: He just a lion man. You understand this that God
- 4:23Speaker 1: gave us. We are the one creature he created that
- 4:26Speaker 1: has total power of choice. You can make every decision
- 4:29Speaker 1: in your life. What kind of watch you like, that's
- 4:32Speaker 1: the one you can buy. You want to live in Switzerland,
- 4:37Speaker 1: go ahead. You don't like Switzerland, you can move to Miami.
- 4:42Speaker 1: You want to live your life a crime, Go ahead.
- 4:45Speaker 1: That's you. He gave you the power of choice. You
- 4:47Speaker 1: want to do right? Come on, So now look at
- 4:52Speaker 1: this thing. We are all the results of a series
- 4:59Speaker 1: of decision that we have made. If we could just
- 5:03Speaker 1: identify that the problem is us, we could began the solution.
- 5:10Speaker 1: See that's the problem, y'all, it's us. It's what we do.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I threw my life down the hill. I can't tell
- 5:18Speaker 1: you how many years based on some decisions that I
- 5:22Speaker 1: was making. Now I can justify my decision with I
- 5:24Speaker 1: wasn't happy and I was doing this and I was
- 5:27Speaker 1: in miserying y'all on that ye yes to you when
- 5:29Speaker 1: you get through. You made the decisions though, and you
- 5:33Speaker 1: can look at this anywhere you want to, y'all. But
- 5:34Speaker 1: at the end of the day, I'm just talking to
- 5:36Speaker 1: people that's really really wanting to improve their position in life.
- 5:41Speaker 1: And how do you do that? You got to have
- 5:44Speaker 1: a solution. How do you come up with a solution?
- 5:47Speaker 1: You got to identify the problem to even began to
- 5:52Speaker 1: solve it. But if the problem ain't ever you, how
- 5:58Speaker 1: are you gonna solve something that ain't you? See? Okay,
- 6:04Speaker 1: let me look at this one. If somebody said, like
- 6:08Speaker 1: I got a child of mine, man, I just do
- 6:10Speaker 1: right here. Man, I don't even wanna get into it
- 6:13Speaker 1: this morning while I'm struggling with this this boy. But man,
- 6:17Speaker 1: you go to people, you're asking why they do so?
- 6:20Speaker 1: I just I just wasn't taking care of business. Why
- 6:24Speaker 1: I just didn't take care of business? Boy, do you
- 6:28Speaker 1: understand that your life is gonna be filled with you
- 6:30Speaker 1: got to take care of business. So when you're gonna start,
- 6:34Speaker 1: you know what I mean, you can't you can't. You
- 6:37Speaker 1: can't go through life blaming everybody. It's got to be you. See,
- 6:41Speaker 1: you can fix you. You can't fix nobody else if
- 6:44Speaker 1: you keep getting married and the marriages don't work. Hello, Hello, Hello,
- 6:49Speaker 1: could it be you? South? Finally had to sit down
- 6:53Speaker 1: and just make that decision. They don't need to be
- 6:55Speaker 1: coming on the radio talking about nobody else and what
- 6:58Speaker 1: they did to me, and y'all just don't know. No, no, no, man,
- 7:01Speaker 1: what about the part you played at it? Because see,
- 7:04Speaker 1: if you got a good marriage, you got a part
- 7:06Speaker 1: to play in that. If you got a bad one,
- 7:08Speaker 1: you got a part to play in that. Even if
- 7:12Speaker 1: you just get down to you to want to pick them,
- 7:14Speaker 1: how about that, mister, mister, I made a decision. The
- 7:18Speaker 1: problem is usually within yourself. Do you know That's the quickest,
- 7:22Speaker 1: an easy way to fix your life. That way, you
- 7:25Speaker 1: ain't got to check with nobody. Here's the beauty of
- 7:27Speaker 1: going on and admitting that is you. You don't have
- 7:31Speaker 1: to check or clear with nobody to start the repair process.
- 7:36Speaker 1: You don't need anybody's permission. You ain't got to put
- 7:39Speaker 1: it before the review board to see if it'll pass.
- 7:42Speaker 1: It ain't got to go through Congress. You ain't got
- 7:44Speaker 1: to hope that your local politician get their hands on
- 7:47Speaker 1: it to make a phone call for you. You ain't
- 7:49Speaker 1: got to ask any counselors to come in and sit
- 7:52Speaker 1: with you. You don't have to check it in the rehab.
- 7:54Speaker 1: All you got to do is decide the problem is me.
- 7:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna start change me. Identify the problem, and start
- 8:05Speaker 1: with the part that you can own up to. Once
- 8:12Speaker 1: you identify the problem, you can start planning on how
- 8:15Speaker 1: to fix it or how to get to accomplishing something.
- 8:18Speaker 1: But remember this planning is important. If you fail to plan,
- 8:24Speaker 1: then please plan to fail. If you don't know how
- 8:28Speaker 1: to make a plan, let's just start with the basics.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Just make a list of what you want. Make this
- 8:36Speaker 1: list and then go to God in prayer with an
- 8:40Speaker 1: open mind and open your mind up to all the
- 8:45Speaker 1: clean opportunities that are available here. Why a lot of
- 8:50Speaker 1: people won't succeed because certain opportunities come along you don't
- 8:53Speaker 1: want to do them. That kills me. Man, when I
- 8:56Speaker 1: hear here, I ain't doing that. I know young comedians
- 8:59Speaker 1: that come to me all time talking about Man, what
- 9:01Speaker 1: you're not saying. Man, just take every gig you can
- 9:03Speaker 1: no matter what they pay. Well, listen to me, son,
- 9:09Speaker 1: you can go make that money that they pay, or
- 9:11Speaker 1: you can make the decision to sit at home and
- 9:13Speaker 1: make nobody. It's a comedy, a hard business. They ain't
- 9:18Speaker 1: paying but one hundred dollars. You gotta drive, drive fifty miles.
- 9:22Speaker 1: But if you drive fifty miles and you make the
- 9:24Speaker 1: hundred and you stand on that stage for thirty minutes,
- 9:27Speaker 1: you are now thirty minutes better than you was the
- 9:29Speaker 1: last time you went on stage. Oh, man, you ain't man,
- 9:34Speaker 1: they don't pay me, I ain't coming. You ain't gonna
- 9:36Speaker 1: be a comedian, man, not not, not like this hill.
- 9:40Speaker 1: A lot of people just don't want to do what's
- 9:42Speaker 1: necessary to do. So when the opportunity presents itself and
- 9:46Speaker 1: you open up your mind to it, man, then get
- 9:48Speaker 1: ready to go on and do it. Man, identify your
- 9:52Speaker 1: problem today, start with the part dash you, ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: without further dude, it is time. It's moaning time. Come on, No,

- 10:33Speaker 1: We come to you with intention informatization. We are healed
- 10:41Speaker 1: in the moaning time. In spite of the crisis that's
- 10:47Speaker 1: going on around the world, we that are here are
- 10:52Speaker 1: blessed and highly favored. Right, walking that walk, yeah, talking
- 11:01Speaker 1: that talk yeah, and jay walking when I walked. Sermons
- 11:08Speaker 1: ain't gotta have no meaning. They just got to sound
- 11:13Speaker 1: like his wom I say, little bit hill, welcome or
- 11:20Speaker 1: to the bad its moaning short you the lad I
- 11:27Speaker 1: know there as others, but then his invitations. I know
- 11:33Speaker 1: it's folks with reggio shows. Yeah, but they ain't got
- 11:37Speaker 1: us on it. I know of some shows. I think
- 11:42Speaker 1: it's pretty good. My damn self a radio and I
- 11:50Speaker 1: had turned to one station, Come on, I would pick
- 11:54Speaker 1: the same one that you just picked. Yeah, I know
- 11:59Speaker 1: your because I'm on it and you hear me. Like
- 12:05Speaker 1: I said, other choices, But why make the wrong choice
- 12:10Speaker 1: every day? That's right, that's right. I'm knowing that we
- 12:14Speaker 1: are healed and they are there. Come on, ladies and gentlemen,
- 12:19Speaker 1: let me introduce him to you. A man with a
- 12:23Speaker 1: large note, great big old lips, bring yourself face has
- 12:32Speaker 1: grown in with over the years. Mustache yea world famous
- 12:42Speaker 1: true got more more credits. H than than Equifax. He
- 12:54Speaker 1: he has told more jokes than these other radio shows
- 13:01Speaker 1: have attempted. Yes, ain't nobody on any Morning Moon Funny

- 13:12Speaker 1: me to you and the rest of the Moaning crew.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Then you standing by. But I then took off down
- 13:21Speaker 1: the road of foolishness, and I didn't know how to
- 13:24Speaker 1: get off. Sometime when you go down the road of foolishness,
- 13:29Speaker 1: it ain't no exit. So we on the road and
- 13:32Speaker 1: I'll be back at the bottom of the hour. In
- 13:36Speaker 1: the name or Steve Harvin, Moaning Show. We'll be right back.

- 53:41Speaker 1: A while back, I met a man on a dating
- 53:43Speaker 1: app and it was supposed to be just a one
- 53:46Speaker 1: night stand. He came over and we had the most
- 53:49Speaker 1: explosive sex. After that, we talked all night. He lives
- 53:54Speaker 1: out of town, and when he got back home, we
- 53:57Speaker 1: talked daily and spend hours getting to know each other.
- 54:00Speaker 1: He came back to visit me because he was dying
- 54:03Speaker 1: to have sex with me. We admitted that we were
- 54:06Speaker 1: catching feelings. After he left, I noticed that he changed
- 54:10Speaker 1: If I missed his call, he called me back to
- 54:14Speaker 1: back until I answered. It was so sweet, but I
- 54:17Speaker 1: kept reassuring him that I wasn't cheating. He came to
- 54:21Speaker 1: visit again, and this time he brought some of his
- 54:24Speaker 1: clothes and a few personal things to leave at my house.
- 54:28Speaker 1: This made me so happy, because admit we were an
- 54:32Speaker 1: official couple. Whenever we got into arguments, he jokingly say,
- 54:37Speaker 1: don't make me pop up to see what you're doing.
- 54:40Speaker 1: I never thought he would do it, but he did.
- 54:43Speaker 1: One Saturday, I volunteered to feed the homeless, and I
- 54:46Speaker 1: couldn't use my phone while I was serving due to
- 54:50Speaker 1: the COVID nineteen guidelines. At the place, I went for
- 54:54Speaker 1: four hours without answering my man's calls and he lost it.
- 54:59Speaker 1: When I got home, he had kicked my door in
- 55:02Speaker 1: and he left me a note. I discovered that he
- 55:05Speaker 1: took all of his clothes, and he also took my
- 55:08Speaker 1: forty two inch TV, two lamps, some of my shoes,
- 55:12Speaker 1: some frozen steaks, and the microwave. It was so random,
- 55:18Speaker 1: since he has never bought me anything. I called to
- 55:22Speaker 1: beg him to come back, but he said it's over
- 55:25Speaker 1: and he never wants to see me again. How can
- 55:27Speaker 1: I get this man to see that I would never
- 55:29Speaker 1: cheat on him? How can I fix this? Okay, I'm
- 55:35Speaker 1: gonna read your words back to you and see if
- 55:37Speaker 1: this sparks anything in your brain. You say, when I
- 55:40Speaker 1: got home, he had kicked my door in. He'd left
- 55:43Speaker 1: me a note. I discovered he took all of my clothes,
- 55:45Speaker 1: and he also took my two inch TV to lamp,
- 55:48Speaker 1: some of my shoes, some frozen steaks, and the microwave. Okay,
- 55:53Speaker 1: does that sound crazy to you? I mean, doesn't that
- 55:57Speaker 1: sound a little crazy? It does? To me, I'm sure
- 55:59Speaker 1: it does to Steve and to everyone else listening. So
- 56:03Speaker 1: why why would you want this ignorant man back in
- 56:08Speaker 1: your life? I mean, honestly, it sounds scary. I mean,
- 56:11Speaker 1: who does this? He sounds like some kind of psychopath
- 56:15Speaker 1: To me, I just say, consider yourself blessed that that's all.
- 56:18Speaker 1: He took the TV in the microwave and some shoes,
- 56:21Speaker 1: and I really don't get the stakes part anyway. He
- 56:25Speaker 1: sounds violent, he sounds controlling, he sounds possessive. To me,
- 56:28Speaker 1: I'm so glad. I'm really glad you weren't in the
- 56:31Speaker 1: house because I think he would have put his hands
- 56:33Speaker 1: on you. I really do. And it's really a shame
- 56:37Speaker 1: I think that I have to tell you this. It
- 56:40Speaker 1: really pains me, honestly, because you gotta know, you need
- 56:44Speaker 1: to know this, that you shouldn't be so desperate that
- 56:47Speaker 1: you would think that you would have to beg this
- 56:49Speaker 1: man to come back to you to do what I mean,
- 56:53Speaker 1: let him go, please, girl, you gotta let him go,
- 56:56Speaker 1: and don't ever invite him back to your house. I mean,
- 56:59Speaker 1: he tried to to destroy your house. He kicked the
- 57:02Speaker 1: door in. Come on, he's a thief. Remember that, Please
- 57:05Speaker 1: don't forget that. Let's be clear, this man sounds very unstable.
- 57:09Speaker 1: I think you need to run and run quickly and
- 57:12Speaker 1: get away from him. Steve Well, good letters, Shirley. I
- 57:21Speaker 1: see a little something else in here that I probably
- 57:23Speaker 1: need to go over and cover. Yes, oh, metis man
- 57:29Speaker 1: on this day. Now, this way went wrong. It was
- 57:33Speaker 1: supposed to be a one night stand, just a hit it,
- 57:37Speaker 1: quit it, sock it, knock it, throw it, catch it.
- 57:46Speaker 1: He came over and we had, in your words, the
- 57:51Speaker 1: most explosive sex. Now, let me show you what happens
- 58:00Speaker 1: after you have explosive sex. Y'all talk daily, spend hours
- 58:08Speaker 1: getting to know each other. Came back to visit because
- 58:12Speaker 1: he was dying to have sex with me again. You
- 58:15Speaker 1: know why, because it was explosive. We admitted we was
- 58:20Speaker 1: catching feelings. He left and I noticed he changed. If
- 58:25Speaker 1: I missed his calls, he would call me back to
- 58:29Speaker 1: back to back. You know why, because y'all had explosive sex.
- 58:37Speaker 1: Explosive sex will make you call back to back to
- 58:42Speaker 1: back to back. Damn it. Answer me. If you had
- 58:46Speaker 1: just had regular sex, none of this would be happening
- 58:50Speaker 1: to you. Yeah, you thought It was so sweet, didn't you.
- 58:57Speaker 1: I kept with shooting him. I wasn't cheating. He came
- 59:00Speaker 1: to visit again, and this time he bought some clothes
- 59:03Speaker 1: with him and a few personal things and leaving my house.
- 59:06Speaker 1: You know why, because y'all was down there, having exploding sex,
- 59:12Speaker 1: just blowing a spoon, just blowing up stove, snatching pigs
- 59:15Speaker 1: after nags, dropping it on the side of the bed.
- 59:19Speaker 1: This made me happy. It made you think he was
- 59:22Speaker 1: an official couple. Whenever we got in the arguments, he
- 59:25Speaker 1: jokingly safe, don't make me pop up, see what you're doing.
- 59:31Speaker 1: You know why, man, Just pop up, because y'all head
- 59:34Speaker 1: explosive sex, explosive. This your whole damn problem. That all explosive.
- 59:46Speaker 1: Hold on, Steve, we'll have per two of your response
- 59:48Speaker 1: coming up twenty three minutes after the hour of today's subject,

- 1:00:32Speaker 1: You thought it was sweet. And then he came to visit.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: He bought some clothes and left some personal things at
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: the house. That's so he can just have a shirt
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: over that because you don't. After you have explosive sex,

- 1:01:33Speaker 1: feed him, and you can't use your phone while you're
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: serving because you're different food due to the COVID guidelines.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: You went four hours without answering your man's car and
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: dog go on it. He lost it. You know why

- 1:01:58Speaker 1: got home. He didn't kicked doe in and left you
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: a note. But you discovered he took all his clothes,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: took your forty two inch TV, two lamps, some of
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: your shoes, some frozen steaks, and the microwave. Now, after
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: he did all that, this is what you said. It
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: was so random since he never bought me anything. He
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: didn't buy me, no shoeses a, no microwave, and just
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: taking TVs down off the wall. I don't understand he
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: didn't buy none of that stuff. That was your statement
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: after that. Then right after that, you said I called
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: to beg him back. Let's park this letter for a minute.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: What is wrong with you? See, maybe this explosive sex
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: wasn't just having him do ignorant mess. It's got you

- 1:04:04Speaker 1: engine kicking off heat off that muffler, okay, and it'll
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: be spall by the time he get home. Okay, I
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: didn't get it. Okay, and then you know he probably
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: stay out of town because they met on the ALM. Yeah,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: he spent and they talked daily, and he came back
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: to visits. He came back to visit me from out

- 1:13:38Speaker 1: You know you didn't have some good loving when the
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: family is down there having breakfast doing quarantine and you
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: and your wife looking at the kids and go, what
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: y'all looking at us for? We're looking at off grown folks?
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: All right? Coming up next here right after this, you're
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: listening to how many friends do you guys have? I'm
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: not talking about social media friends. I'm talking about real friends. Now.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: According to a new survey, the average American has about
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: sixteen friends. Of these sixteen friends, yeah yeah, this got
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: no damn sixteen s. This is according to a new survey.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, and they say of these they say, of
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: these sixteen friends, three were described as friends for life,
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: five were people they really liked and would hang out
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: with one on one, and the other eight were people
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: the respondent said they liked but would not spend time
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: with them one on one. The survey also found that
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: the average American adult has made a new friend hasn't
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: made a new friend in five years. Because, Steve, I
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: gotta ask you. It begs the question, how many friends
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: real friends do you have? Sixteen or less? Probably got five? Five?
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: You can kind them on one hand? Friends, Yeah, I'm
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: talking about ride or die. Don't give a damn. Let's
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: go top five. Yeah, I'm talking about whell with it?
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: Five maybe or to make new friends at the and
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: I ain't made a friend in five years? How well?
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: At work? At work, Steve, that's where you are all
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: the time. How many friends you got Tommy. I always
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: say three conversation when we come back. Three and you
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: playing spades. All right, we'll be back. We'll pick this
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: conversation up when when we come back at thirty three
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: after the hour. You're listening to show, All right, Steve,
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: we were talking about how many friends do we have.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: There's a new survey and it says that the average
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: American has about sixteen friends. Of those sixteen, it's impossible. Well, well,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: this is how they break it down. Three were described
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: as friends for life, three you have for life. Five
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: were people you really liked and you would hang out
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: with one on one, and then the other eight were
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: people the respondents said they liked, but they wouldn't spend
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: time with them one on one. And that's not your friend. Yeah,
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: that's you wouldn't consider that. People you really like don't
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: necessarily mean that your friends. Yeah, that's true as well. Yeah,
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: and then they say, the average American adult hasn't made
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: a new friend in five years. And you know why,
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: you don't have time to learn nobody else didn't learn you. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: And there's a there's a trust factor. Yeah, say something
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: that right, I can't believe. Yeah, you get quiet I
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: noticed you get quiet, but it was right you at
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: some point. Yeah, you ain't got damn to learn nobody name.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: But it sounds like with us, this group right here,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: we don't use that term loosely, like when I call
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: you a friend. Yeah, come on, yeah, yeah, I can
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: count on you no matter what. Yeah, that's it's five
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: of them dudes in my world. I'm sixty two years old,
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: and it's about loyalty too. It's and and and my
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: good ones didn't die. Yeah that's what's cold. But you know, look,
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: I know, like my friends for life, Butcher Ricardo, So
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: you know, you look at Butcher Icardo. I've been friends
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: with Manny since I was four. My best friend from
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: from college is marvel Is Marven Horn. We steal boys
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: the ride doc. I'm talking about Biggie Wig, Okay and
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: Blue I'm talking man, dudes that to walk off the
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: edge for you. Yeah yeah, Biggie Wig and Blue Prue.
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: Yeah they walk off the edge for you. Man. Yeah,
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: that ain't no lie. Rickie Lewis Gould ask brother to man.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: But I got dude friend that I called, like like
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: Steve Perry, doctor doctor Perry. Oh this is my dude, man,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: he could he climb down and hold it. Yeah, what
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: do you call that group? That's after friends? But they
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: still cool with you, you know what I'm saying. But
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: you're not in that top, you're not in that five.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: Well maybe it's levels of friends. Yeah, I think right,
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: I think that. I think that, And that's what they
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: were saying. Uh. Some people are with you ride or die,
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: and then others are I know, spend time with them
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: one on one. You know, Yeah, I think they're different
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: levels of friendship because I mean, you know, I call
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: them like New York like short for New York, a
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: n y K. That's what I call. Just put him
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: in the n y K group like New York. I
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: know what he's saying, nyk um. All right, Well we'll
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: be back with more of the Harvey Morning Show, I know,
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: coming up at forty nine after some closing remarks coming
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: up as well. Right after this you're listening to all right, Steve,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: last break of the day, please leave us with some
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: closing remarks like only you can. This is to help
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: you make ready for your blessings. Now, what I'm gonna
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: give you is gonna be hard for most people to do.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: I already know that it was difficult for me to do.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: But a very very wealthy person taught this to me.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: I didn't think much of it until I did it,
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: and boil boil, boy, did it help make room for
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: what God had for me? Not only that it freed
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: me up. And I'll tell you what this very very
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: successful people person told me. If I told you his name,
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: you probably wouldn't know him. He's not famous. He's just
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: extremely wealthy. And when I tell you extremely wealthy, I
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: mean it. But if I said his name, you wouldn't
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: even notice guy. If I showed you a picture of him,
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: the average person wouldn't even know who he was. But
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: he taught this to me. He said, in your journey,
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: if you want to really clear the slate, get a
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: fresh start, and prepare yourself to receive what all God
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: has for you, you have to take inventory of the
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: people in your life. And when you take this inventory,
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: you are going to have to act as though you
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: are a gardener. You are a gardener with a grove,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: and your grove is your life. The things you want
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: to bear fruit from God your trees. You want apples
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: this season, you want lemons, you want grape fruit. You
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: won't peaches, you won't pass plums. You've got to take
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: care of your archerd. In order to take care of
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: your archerd. I notice you've all noticed that from time
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: to time you see the gardeners outside pruning trees. They
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: cutting them back, They're clipping dead ends off. You know why,
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: because that maximizes the growth of the good and the tree.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: If you take the dead, unnecessary branches off, the withering ends,
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: it allows for the tree to bear more fruit. So, Steve,
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: how do you take inventory of people? This is what
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: he taught me. He said, you have three kinds of
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: people in your life. He said, you have people who
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: approach you with nothing but bad news. All of us
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: know them. Everybody has somebody that walks up to them
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: and every time they start talking something wrong, or every
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: time they give you a phone call, they you bad news.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: And the bad news don't just be about them, They
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: bring you bad news about you. Did you hear that
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: though they were saying about you down here and you
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: just go mad. Have you ever had a person that
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: every time they came up to you, you just felt
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: dark because they just bought bad news. Those people that
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: you have in your life, you don't need them. I
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: want you to put go through your phone contacts and
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: everybody that is no good, that never moves your life forward,
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: doesn't give you any helpful advice, doesn't help you aid
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: you in any way, has nothing but bad news and
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: want something for you. One side of friendships, I want
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: you to put a dot next to that contact name,
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: a black dot. The next person you have in your
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: life are called sometimy people. They the fifty fifties in
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: your life. They cool over here as long as you're
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: doing this, but they're not cool over here. You can
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: take them here, but you can't take them there. You
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: can discuss this, but you can't bring up that. You
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: can lead them that way, but you can't show them
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: the other way. Sometimes they cool what you about stuff.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: Sometimes they ain't. Those are called sometimey people or what
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: we're gonna call fifty fifty people. Everybody got them in
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: their life. When you have a fifty fifty person, what
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: I want you to do is put an asterid by
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: their name that contact. Put in asterid, remember all the
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: bad news people that's always bringing you bad news in
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: darkness or black dot next to their name. The next
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: person is the fifty fifty person they sometimey they cool here,
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: they ain't cool that put an asterisd by their name.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: The last person that you know are people who are
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: very supportive of you, people who are willing to pray
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: for you, people who always try to be uplifting, people
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: who when they got news for you, they try to
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: make it of the positive nature. A person who comes
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: to your aid and your rescue. A person that picks
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: up the phone just to see how you're doing, and
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: you bet not mention that something's wrong, because here they come.
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: It's people in your life, man, that you don't even
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: have to talk when you're around them. You could just
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: sit and be steal and y'all just cool like that.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: Everybody got that ride or die that I don't care
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: what you tell them. They don't pass judgment. They just
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: your friends. Well, when you have that person, and I'm
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: gonna be real honest with you, it ain't a whole
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: lot of them, I want you to put a check
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: by their name. So you got a black dot next
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: to the dark people who bring you none but bad news, negativity,
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: something wrong. Every time you got an aster it by
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: the name of the people who are fifty fifty sometimey
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: people and you got to check by the people that's
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: always supported prayer for you good news. Now here's what
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: you do. I want you to take everybody with a
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: black dot next to their name, and everybody with an
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: asterisk next to their name, and I want you to
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: block them as your contact, block them out your phone,
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: and block them from your email. If the family, block
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: them from your phone and block them from your email.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: All I want you to have is people who have
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: your phone number that have a check by your name.
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: You're gonna lose a lot of people, but guess what,
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: you're gonna gain a lot of ground. You don't have
