- 2:56Speaker 3: It's the forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Number one, it was a bombshell press conference at the
- 3:03Speaker 3: White House, Tolci Gabbard coming out and talking about this
- 3:08Speaker 3: possible criminal referral to the Department of Justice for an investigation,
- 3:14Speaker 3: and it all revolves around Russia collusion, and now it
- 3:17Speaker 3: involves a former president by the name of Barack Obama.
- 3:21Speaker 3: I want you to take a listen to what Tulsi
- 3:24Speaker 3: Gabbard had to say at the White House press briefing room.
- 3:27Speaker 3: She's the Director of National Intelligence, and she is now
- 3:30Speaker 3: officially hinted former President Barack Obama has in fact been
- 3:35Speaker 3: referred to the Department of Justice for a criminal investigation. Now,
- 3:39Speaker 3: she did not address the constitutional obstacles or a prosecution,
- 3:45Speaker 3: but what she did do is lay out the facts. Here.
- 3:48Speaker 3: She is, in her own words at the White House podium.
- 3:52Speaker 4: Thank you very much, good afternoon. At President Trump's direction
- 3:55Speaker 4: and with the support and coordination with the House Intelligence
- 3:58Speaker 4: Committee Chairman Rick, today we've released a declassified oversight Majority
- 4:03Speaker 4: staff report that was produced in September of twenty twenty.
- 4:08Speaker 4: The stunning revelations that we are releasing today should be
- 4:11Speaker 4: of concern to every American. This is not about Democrats Republicans.
- 4:14Speaker 4: This has to do with the integrity of our Democratic
- 4:17Speaker 4: republic and American voters having faith that the votes cast
- 4:21Speaker 4: will count. There is irrefutable evidence that detail how President
- 4:26Speaker 4: Obama and his national security team directed the creation of
- 4:30Speaker 4: an intelligence community assessment that they knew was false. They
- 4:35Speaker 4: knew it would promote this contrived narrative that Russia interfered
- 4:38Speaker 4: in the twenty sixteen election to help President Trump win,
- 4:42Speaker 4: selling it to the American people as though it were true.
- 4:45Speaker 4: It wasn't. The report that we released today's shows in
- 4:48Speaker 4: great detail how they carried this out. They manufactured findings
- 4:53Speaker 4: from shoddy sources. They suppressed evidence and credible intelligence that
- 4:58Speaker 4: disproved their false claim, as they disobeyed traditional tradecraft intelligence
- 5:04Speaker 4: community standards and withheld the truth from the American people.
- 5:08Speaker 4: In doing so, they conspired to subvert the will of
- 5:11Speaker 4: the American people who elected Donald Trump in that election
- 5:14Speaker 4: in November of twenty sixteen. They worked with their partners
- 5:17Speaker 4: in the media to promote this lie, ultimately to undermine
- 5:20Speaker 4: the legitimacy of President Trump and launching what would be
- 5:24Speaker 4: a year's long coup against him and his administration. We're
- 5:28Speaker 4: here today because the American people deserve the truth, they
- 5:31Speaker 4: deserve accountability, and they deserve justice. The records that we
- 5:35Speaker 4: released on Friday that were ODE and I records Senator
- 5:38Speaker 4: Chuck Grassley's release on Monday of what is known as
- 5:42Speaker 4: the Clinton Annex, which was an appendix to the Department
- 5:44Speaker 4: of Justice Office of Inspector General's twenty eighteen report, as
- 5:48Speaker 4: well as the House Intelligence Committee's Oversight Majority Oversight report.
- 5:52Speaker 4: That we're releasing today all come back to and confirm
- 5:55Speaker 4: the same report. There was a gross politicization manipulation of
- 6:00Speaker 4: intelligence by the Obama administration intended to delegitimize President Trump
- 6:05Speaker 4: even before he was inaugurated, ultimately usurping the will of
- 6:08Speaker 4: the American people. I'm going to go over the key
- 6:11Speaker 4: findings from the House Intelligence Report, which investigated the claims
- 6:16Speaker 4: that were made by an intelligence community assessment ordered by
- 6:19Speaker 4: President Obama and published in January of twenty seventeen. First,
- 6:23Speaker 4: Putin's principal interests relating to the twenty sixteen election were
- 6:26Speaker 4: to undermine faith in the US democratic process, not show
- 6:30Speaker 4: any preference of a certain candidate. In fact, this report
- 6:34Speaker 4: shows Putin held back leaking, held back from leaking compromising
- 6:39Speaker 4: material on Hillary Clinton prior to the election, instead planning
- 6:43Speaker 4: to release it after the election to weaken what Moscow
- 6:46Speaker 4: viewed as an inevitable Clinton presidency. In the January twenty
- 6:50Speaker 4: seventeen intelligence Community assessment that President Obama ordered, John Brennan,
- 6:55Speaker 4: whose CIA director at the time, and the intelligence community
- 6:58Speaker 4: intentionally suppressed intelligence that showed Putin was saving the most
- 7:03Speaker 4: damaging material that he had in his possession about Hillary
- 7:06Speaker 4: Clinton until after her potential and likely victory. The report
- 7:11Speaker 4: goes into great detail about the information that Russia and
- 7:14Speaker 4: Putin had which on Hillary Clinton, which included possible criminal
- 7:18Speaker 4: acts like secret meetings with multiple named US religious organizations
- 7:23Speaker 4: in which State Department officials offered, in exchange for supporting
- 7:28Speaker 4: Secretary Clinton's campaign for the presidency, significant increases in financing
- 7:33Speaker 4: from the State Department. They also had documents that showed
- 7:36Speaker 4: the patronage of the State Department to State Department employees
- 7:40Speaker 4: who would go and support Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. There
- 7:43Speaker 4: were high level DNC emails that detailed evidence of Hillary's
- 7:47Speaker 4: quote psycho emotional problems, uncontrolled fits of anger, aggression, and cheerfulness,
- 7:53Speaker 4: and that then Secretary Clinton was allegedly on a daily
- 7:57Speaker 4: regiment of heavy tranquilizers. THEIA director Brennan and the intelligence
- 8:01Speaker 4: community mischaracterized intelligence and relied on dubious, substandard sources to
- 8:06Speaker 4: create a contrived, false narrative that Putin developed a quote
- 8:09Speaker 4: unquote clear preference for Trump. Brennan and the ICEE misled
- 8:13Speaker 4: lawmakers by referencing the debunked Steele dossier to assess quote
- 8:17Speaker 4: unquote Russia's plans and intentions. Falsely suggesting that this dossier
- 8:22Speaker 4: had intelligence value when he knew that it was discredited.
- 8:25Speaker 4: The Intelligence community excluded significant intelligence and ignored or selectively
- 8:30Speaker 4: quoted reliable intelligence that contradicted the Intelligence community assessment's key
- 8:35Speaker 4: findings on Putin's alleged support for Trump. Including this intelligence
- 8:40Speaker 4: reporting would have exposed the ICA's claim as implausible, if
- 8:45Speaker 4: not ridiculous. The Intelligence Community assessment omitted reliably sourced information,
- 8:50Speaker 4: such as how some Russian intelligence officials were quote unquote
- 8:53Speaker 4: planning for candidate Hillary Clinton's victory, while others assessed neither
- 8:58Speaker 4: Trump nor Clinton would respect Russia's interests, as was reflected
- 9:02Speaker 4: in the od and I documents that we released on Friday.
- 9:05Speaker 4: Multiple intelligence community assessments released in the months leading up
- 9:08Speaker 4: to the November twenty sixteen election concluded that Russia had
- 9:12Speaker 4: neither the intent nor capability to impact the outcome of
- 9:15Speaker 4: the US election. On December fifth of twenty sixteen, the
- 9:19Speaker 4: FBI and ODIE and I gave the House Intelligence Committee
- 9:22Speaker 4: its first post election classified briefing, in which there was
- 9:25Speaker 4: no mention of Putin aspiring to elect Trump by either agency.
- 9:30Speaker 4: The Presidential Daily Brief drafted on December eighth of twenty
- 9:33Speaker 4: sixteen stated that no Russian or criminal actors impacted vote counts.
- 9:39Speaker 4: This document was pulled just hours before it was to
- 9:41Speaker 4: be published due to quote unquote new guidance. If it
- 9:45Speaker 4: had been published, it would have been briefed to both
- 9:47Speaker 4: President Obama and President elect Donald Trump. On December ninth,
- 9:51Speaker 4: twenty sixteen, a National Security Council meeting was called to
- 9:54Speaker 4: gather President Obama's senior national security officials, which included CIA
- 9:58Speaker 4: Director Brennan, then Obama, d and I, James Clapper, Susan Rice,
- 10:02Speaker 4: and others. Following that secret meeting, DNI, Clapper's assistant sent
- 10:06Speaker 4: an email to the intelligence community with the subject line
- 10:09Speaker 4: potus tasking on Russia election medaling, tasking OD and I
- 10:14Speaker 4: leaders to create a new assessment per the President's request.
- 10:18Speaker 4: The House Intelligence Committee oversite report that we released today
- 10:20Speaker 4: reveals that, quote unlike routine intelligence community analysis, the Intelligence
- 10:25Speaker 4: Community assessment was a high profile product ordered by the
- 10:29Speaker 4: President President Obama. It directed senior Intelligence community agency heads
- 10:34Speaker 4: and created an intelligence community assessment limited to just five
- 10:39Speaker 4: analysts using one principal drafter. This is not something that
- 10:44Speaker 4: occurs in the normal path of producing an Intelligence Community
- 10:48Speaker 4: assessment that reflects the views across the intelligence community. The
- 10:53Speaker 4: production of this intelligence community assessment was subject to unusual
- 10:56Speaker 4: directives directly from the President and senior political appointee, especially
- 11:01Speaker 4: the former Director of the CIA, John Brennan. The House
- 11:04Speaker 4: Intelligence Committee oversite report also shows how later that same day,
- 11:08Speaker 4: on December ninth, Brennan ordered the publication of quote unquote
- 11:11Speaker 4: substandard reporting on Russian activities. Some of the information later
- 11:16Speaker 4: used in the Obama ordered assessment, over the objections of
- 11:20Speaker 4: veteran CIA officers, was quote unquote unclear or from unknown sources.
- 11:25Speaker 4: The Intelligence Committee's oversite report reveals that CIA Director Brennan
- 11:29Speaker 4: overruled senior CIA officers who challenged the Obama ordered intelligence assessment, stating, quote,
- 11:37Speaker 4: we don't have direct information that Putin wanted to get
- 11:40Speaker 4: Trump elected. Yet the Obama directed assessment was published on
- 11:44Speaker 4: January sixth, twenty seventeen, which explicitly stated, quote, we assess
- 11:48Speaker 4: Putin and the Russian government aspired to help President elect
- 11:51Speaker 4: Trump's election chances when possible by discrediting Secretary Clinton and
- 11:56Speaker 4: publicly contrasting her unfavorably to him. Quote. The CIA and FBI,
- 12:02Speaker 4: then led by John Brennan and James Comy expressed high
- 12:06Speaker 4: confidence in this judgment, while the NSA expressed moderate confidence. Yet,
- 12:12Speaker 4: as the report we released today shows, the ICA the
- 12:15Speaker 4: Intelligence Community Assessment did not cite any report where Putin
- 12:19Speaker 4: indicated helping Trump win was an objective. The opposite is
- 12:23Speaker 4: true with regards to the Steele dossier. We now know
- 12:26Speaker 4: that one of the source documents that the Obama administration
- 12:29Speaker 4: used in the creation of this intelligence assessment in January
- 12:33Speaker 4: of twenty seventeen was none other than the discredited, unverified
- 12:37Speaker 4: Steele dossier. The House Intel report states, quote, contradicting public
- 12:41Speaker 4: claims by then CIA Director Brennan that the dossier was
- 12:45Speaker 4: not in any way incorporated into this intelligence assessment. The
- 12:49Speaker 4: dossier was referenced in the intelligence assessment's main body text
- 12:52Speaker 4: and further detailed in a two page assessment annex. John
- 12:57Speaker 4: Brennan lied, and he denied using this dossier in this
- 13:00Speaker 4: intelligence assessment that President Obama ordered because he knew it
- 13:04Speaker 4: was discredited, it was a politically motivated, manufactured document. He
- 13:08Speaker 4: directed senior CIA officials to use it anyway. CIA officer
- 13:14Speaker 4: told the House Intelligence Committee staff as they investigated this quote,
- 13:19Speaker 4: the Director of the CIA, John Brennan, refused to remove it, and,
- 13:23Speaker 4: when confronted with the dossier's many flaws, responded, quote, yes,
- 13:28Speaker 4: but doesn't it ring true? Even the bipartisan Senate Select
- 13:31Speaker 4: Committee on Intelligence report published in twenty twenty, criticized the
- 13:35Speaker 4: FBI's handling of the Steele dossier, noting its completely unverified
- 13:40Speaker 4: nature and purposeful side stepping of intelligence community procedures in
- 13:44Speaker 4: its use. Now President Obama, Hillary Clinton, John Brennan, James Clapper,
- 13:49Speaker 4: James Cobe, and others, including their mouthpieces in the media,
- 13:53Speaker 4: knowingly lied as they repeated the contrived narrative that was
- 13:56Speaker 4: created in this January twenty seventeen intelligence Community assessment with
- 14:01Speaker 4: high confidence, as though it were fact. John Brennan, as
- 14:04Speaker 4: CIA Director, stated in a memo to his agency staff
- 14:08Speaker 4: in December of twenty sixteen, saying quote, there is strong
- 14:11Speaker 4: consensus among us on the scope, nature, and intent of
- 14:15Speaker 4: Russian interference in our presidential elected election. This was reported
- 14:20Speaker 4: by NBC News confirming that Brennan, along with James Clapper
- 14:23Speaker 4: and James Comey, agreed with the CIA's assessment that Russia
- 14:27Speaker 4: intervened to help Trump win the presidency. As Obama's Director
- 14:31Speaker 4: of National Intelligence, James Clapper, was tasked with overseeing the
- 14:34Speaker 4: creation of this assessment in January of twenty seventeen by
- 14:38Speaker 4: President Obama, and he expressed confidence in its findings. In
- 14:42Speaker 4: a twenty eighteen interview with the Harvard Gazette, he talked
- 14:46Speaker 4: about how he provided Trump with the same classified assessment
- 14:49Speaker 4: that President Obama received, which included the high confidence judgment
- 14:53Speaker 4: that putin directly ordered the hacking and election interference. Clapper
- 14:57Speaker 4: then went on to add, I think they the right
- 15:00Speaker 4: Oshans actually influenced the outcome. This is a brief summary
- 15:03Speaker 4: of the details that you'll find within the House Majority
- 15:06Speaker 4: Staff's report in their investigation into the Obama directed January
- 15:12Speaker 4: twenty seventeen Intelligence community assessment that leads us to the
- 15:16Speaker 4: very same conclusion that we announced in the release of
- 15:18Speaker 4: our documents on Friday. The implications of this are far
- 15:22Speaker 4: reaching and have to do with the integrity of our
- 15:25Speaker 4: democratic republic. It has to do with an outgoing president
- 15:29Speaker 4: taking action to manufacture intelligence to undermine and usurp the
- 15:34Speaker 4: will of the American people in that election and launch
- 15:37Speaker 4: what would be a year's long coup against the incoming president.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Election This is shocking but also not surprising based on
- 15:46Speaker 3: what we know about what the left has done to
- 15:48Speaker 3: try to take out Donald Trump. But we are hearing
- 15:51Speaker 3: the name of Barack Obama and exactly what he was
- 15:54Speaker 3: trying to do. And if you look at the shocking
- 15:58Speaker 3: main points here, the Director our National Intelligence is accusing
- 16:01Speaker 3: the former president Barack Obama and his team of a
- 16:05Speaker 3: treasonous conspiracy, saying that they clearly manufactured intelligence assessments accusing
- 16:12Speaker 3: Russia of aiding Donald Trump in twenty sixteen, and intentionally,
- 16:17Speaker 3: as she described it, intentionally was the word that she
- 16:21Speaker 3: used to mislead the American people.
