- 1:42Speaker 5: Turn.
- 1:43Speaker 2: You probably got to turn the mouth, turn out a
- 1:47Speaker 2: wad of the money.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come out you think that, Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody. You I listening to the voice, Come
- 2:06Speaker 2: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey HA
- 2:10Speaker 2: got a radio show you know today I was thinking
- 2:13Speaker 2: of what I would say today and it just dawned
- 2:17Speaker 2: on me this way, and I just want to share
- 2:18Speaker 2: this with everybody listening. You've got to get some help
- 2:22Speaker 2: to make it through life. I cannot imagine where I
- 2:25Speaker 2: would be if it was not for the help of
- 2:29Speaker 2: my God, if it wasn't for his grace and mercy,
- 2:33Speaker 2: if I did not have the ability to lean on
- 2:36Speaker 2: him and all the times I've had to lean on him,
- 2:39Speaker 2: which has become a daily basis. I have no idea
- 2:43Speaker 2: where I would be, but clearly I know for a
- 2:46Speaker 2: matter of fact, I would not be here today. You
- 2:49Speaker 2: have got to get some help to get through this
- 2:51Speaker 2: thing called life. I am begging you to look into it. Man,
- 2:56Speaker 2: you've got to form a relationship with God. Without a
- 2:59Speaker 2: relationationship with God, this thing called life is daunting at times.
- 3:03Speaker 2: I don't care who you are. I know I'm speaking
- 3:06Speaker 2: the truth right now, because listen, no matter who you are,
- 3:11Speaker 2: what job title you have, what aspirations you may have,
- 3:15Speaker 2: I don't care what your educational background is or is not.
- 3:19Speaker 2: It does not matter. If you don't get a real
- 3:22Speaker 2: relationship going on with God. I don't see how you
- 3:25Speaker 2: can make it. So many people are faking in fronting
- 3:28Speaker 2: out here like they got it going on, and you
- 3:30Speaker 2: don't know, And you really don't know how many people
- 3:33Speaker 2: that you think in your neighborhood had it going on
- 3:36Speaker 2: because you saw a car pull up in the driveway,
- 3:39Speaker 2: or they house look bigger, or the grass is cutting nicer,
- 3:42Speaker 2: and you only find out that a foreclosure sign on
- 3:45Speaker 2: they house too. See, you don't know. The mask that
- 3:49Speaker 2: people put on to parade around in is for appearance sakes.
- 3:53Speaker 2: So a lot of people you looking at that you
- 3:55Speaker 2: think got it going on, who might be the pattern
- 3:58Speaker 2: of success that you want a trade? You got to
- 4:00Speaker 2: be real careful with that because it may not be
- 4:03Speaker 2: as it appears to be. But one thing is for sure,
- 4:06Speaker 2: no matter what's going on in your life, I know
- 4:10Speaker 2: that behind whatever mask I'm wearing or I realize so
- 4:15Speaker 2: no matter what the appearances may be, that on the
- 4:18Speaker 2: other side of me, I'm gonna be just fine. See.
- 4:22Speaker 2: You may be outwardly people hating on you, talking about you,
- 4:27Speaker 2: dragging your name through the mud. Look man, people can
- 4:30Speaker 2: say stuff about you. Most people talking about you don't
- 4:33Speaker 2: even know you. They just participating in it. You can
- 4:36Speaker 2: have that appearance going on, but behind you, within you,
- 4:40Speaker 2: if you have a relationship with God, it don't matter
- 4:44Speaker 2: because you can be all right. I've seen it get
- 4:47Speaker 2: real stormy on the outside for me, but on the
- 4:49Speaker 2: inside I just had to feel and I was gonna
- 4:52Speaker 2: be all right.
- 4:53Speaker 6: See.
- 4:53Speaker 2: That's what the relationship gives you, man. It gives you
- 4:56Speaker 2: the confidence to know that the things that you're going
- 4:59Speaker 2: through are temporary. That is just the space that you
- 5:03Speaker 2: happen to be in. Like I said the other day,
- 5:05Speaker 2: you got to remember something. The road to success is
- 5:09Speaker 2: always under construction. You might as well get ready for
- 5:12Speaker 2: that if you plan it on changing, getting better, doing
- 5:16Speaker 2: something about your health. If you decide, hey, look, I
- 5:20Speaker 2: just would like to live a longer, more prosperous life,
- 5:23Speaker 2: or hey, I want to make X amount of dollars,
- 5:25Speaker 2: or hey man, I'm gonna stop staying out in these
- 5:27Speaker 2: streets and I'm gonna come home and treat my family
- 5:29Speaker 2: way they ought to be treated. I don't care what
- 5:31Speaker 2: decision you make. When you strike out on that road
- 5:34Speaker 2: to success, it's under construction, partner. There's barrels out there,
- 5:39Speaker 2: there's wide turns, there's detours.
- 5:42Speaker 6: You know.
- 5:42Speaker 2: It's being out there holding signs saying slow down. Sometimes
- 5:46Speaker 2: they put the stop sign up. You got to wait
- 5:49Speaker 2: and watch people go by you on the other side.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Then before you can take off again. You've all been
- 5:55Speaker 2: on the road with construction on it. It can be
- 5:58Speaker 2: so frustrating. And the whole old time you on that road.
- 6:01Speaker 2: I know when I'm on the road we can under construction.
- 6:04Speaker 2: I'm always thinking of an alternative path. I ain't ever
- 6:09Speaker 2: set in traffic under construction, man, and thought of if
- 6:13Speaker 2: I get off on this exit, where would it take me?
- 6:16Speaker 2: Not knowing, but just man, could I keep moving if
- 6:19Speaker 2: I go that way? That's a dangerous thing sometimes see
- 6:22Speaker 2: because oftentimes when we get off the road to success
- 6:26Speaker 2: and we take that other path, we get further and
- 6:29Speaker 2: further off course. Because wasn't no detools signed for that,
- 6:32Speaker 2: Just a decision I made on my own because I
- 6:34Speaker 2: don't like sitting here sometimes I don't have the patience
- 6:37Speaker 2: I ought to have, so I've taken some what I
- 6:39Speaker 2: thought might be shortcuts. But I got to tell you something,
- 6:43Speaker 2: ain't no shortcuts on the road to success. Even the
- 6:45Speaker 2: detour signs wind up taking you a little bit out
- 6:48Speaker 2: your way, and look background. I remember one time I
- 6:51Speaker 2: was coming from Las Vegas and that was some type
- 6:54Speaker 2: of chemical spill in the truck and you could all
- 7:00Speaker 2: most see the smoke up ahead in very faint. So
- 7:04Speaker 2: they detoreed us through the desert and we had to
- 7:07Speaker 2: go all the way around, and I drove, man like
- 7:10Speaker 2: an hour and a half out of the way. And
- 7:12Speaker 2: when they entered us back on the freeway where we
- 7:15Speaker 2: were to go back to La as soon as I
- 7:17Speaker 2: got it that exit to get back on the freeway,
- 7:20Speaker 2: I looked right there and there the accident was. Now
- 7:24Speaker 2: it was an hour and a half hour forty five
- 7:27Speaker 2: all the way around in that desert to get back
- 7:30Speaker 2: to almost the same place. But it was the best
- 7:34Speaker 2: way to go because see, that was the route to take.
- 7:38Speaker 2: And that's what you got to understand about trying to
- 7:40Speaker 2: make the right decision to be successful, that the road
- 7:43Speaker 2: to success is always under construction. You're gonna have to
- 7:47Speaker 2: go round a little bit, so quick, stop being impatient
- 7:50Speaker 2: with I don't want to go around. I'm gonna go
- 7:51Speaker 2: this way. You go that way if you want to
- 7:53Speaker 2: just follow the detour science. See, because somebody that came
- 7:57Speaker 2: up this road before. You have somebody and travel the
- 8:00Speaker 2: road already, and they took the way around, and yeah,
- 8:04Speaker 2: it seemed like it's a longer way, and you want
- 8:06Speaker 2: to make that other decision. But stay on the road
- 8:09Speaker 2: to success. It's under construction, man, That's just the way
- 8:12Speaker 2: it goes. Don't lose your patience and try to create
- 8:15Speaker 2: a shortcut for yourself. I'm gonna go away. Ain't nobody
- 8:18Speaker 2: ever gone way? Hold up, Pardoner, you really think you're
- 8:20Speaker 2: gonna do that? Listen. There's oftentimes a lot of rewards
- 8:24Speaker 2: when you go the least travel path, but the road
- 8:28Speaker 2: to success is the least travel path. That's what you
- 8:31Speaker 2: keep getting mixed up. You keep thinking if you go
- 8:33Speaker 2: another way, no, No, stay on the road to success.
- 8:36Speaker 2: That is the least travel path. It's under construction. You
- 8:41Speaker 2: can go out there with your machete if you want
- 8:43Speaker 2: to talking about cutting new trails. You think the road
- 8:46Speaker 2: to success is under construction, take the other route and
- 8:50Speaker 2: get that machete out and see how long you be
- 8:53Speaker 2: out there trying to cut a path. Sometimes, man, you
- 8:56Speaker 2: just got to stay patient. The road to success has
- 8:59Speaker 2: been travel before by millions of people in front of you,
- 9:03Speaker 2: everybody that has some setbacks in life. But don't get
- 9:06Speaker 2: off the road to success just because you're having some setbacks,
- 9:09Speaker 2: just because you see some orange barrels up, just because
- 9:12Speaker 2: there's some men out there with vest on. What they
- 9:14Speaker 2: got to do with you? Everybody, everybody that's trying to
- 9:18Speaker 2: be successful, is on that road. Your relationship with God
- 9:22Speaker 2: helps you guide yourself around the barrels. It helps you
- 9:26Speaker 2: have the patience to go around that way. He gonna
- 9:30Speaker 2: get you back where you gotta be. But you got
- 9:33Speaker 2: to go out there so you can learn something. See,
- 9:36Speaker 2: you need God to make it in life because the
- 9:39Speaker 2: road to success is always under construction. He calms you
- 9:44Speaker 2: down when the barrels is up. He lets you know
- 9:47Speaker 2: it's gonna be all right. He rewards you with the
- 9:49Speaker 2: patience to finish because he gonna get you right back
- 9:52Speaker 2: where you need to be and you can get on
- 9:54Speaker 2: which way you is going. Okay, all right, y'all, we're
- 9:57Speaker 2: gonna try that today.
- 9:58Speaker 5: You're listening.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Morning show, ladies and gentlemen. Another great day, another miracle,
- 10:08Speaker 2: another magnificent thing that our creator has done. And I
- 10:12Speaker 2: just can't overlook it, and I'm just pointing it out,
- 10:14Speaker 2: so maybe you might join in and recognize what's happening
- 10:18Speaker 2: in your own way. That that sun came up just
- 10:21Speaker 2: like he said it would, It went down last night
- 10:25Speaker 2: just like he said it would. He placed the moon,
- 10:28Speaker 2: the stars into heavens right where he wanted to be,
- 10:32Speaker 2: just like he said it was on earth as it
- 10:36Speaker 2: is in heaven. That will be done. See that you
- 10:39Speaker 2: can't do nothing about none of this stuff. I just
- 10:41Speaker 2: talk about. God Boy, He's some mil I'm grateful man

- 10:55Speaker 2: your father. I show appreciate it, man, Thank you ladies

- 15:40Speaker 6: I make enough, definitely to cover the red that's for sure.
- 15:43Speaker 10: Dad shouldn't be a problem. I know, I know a
- 15:45Speaker 10: little bit about yoga.
- 15:46Speaker 2: That's that.
- 15:46Speaker 10: I mean, really, if it's y'all, you know, you're not
- 15:48Speaker 10: making no noise, that's yoga. That's not a problem.
- 15:50Speaker 6: A good deal. Well, how quick can I actually get
- 15:53Speaker 6: moved in? And I'm trying to get settled. I just
- 15:54Speaker 6: moved in from the from the East coast. I jumped
- 15:57Speaker 6: on my yoga pretty quick. So and you got quite
- 15:59Speaker 6: a bit of client to built up, and you know,
- 16:02Speaker 6: I'm just just ready to get started, to get moved in, man,
- 16:04Speaker 6: some something that I can actually call home, you know.
- 16:06Speaker 10: Uh yeah, well, you know we're looking to rent rented
- 16:08Speaker 10: out pretty quick, you know, because we want to try
- 16:11Speaker 10: and get it filled as soon as possible.

- 16:15Speaker 6: a roommate your you're.
- 16:18Speaker 10: It would be me and my wife, and uh we
- 16:20Speaker 10: it's a three bedroom home. You would have the room
- 16:22Speaker 10: in the back with the bathroom and uh yeah, like
- 16:25Speaker 10: a fifty do a credit check, right, you know, we
- 16:28Speaker 10: mean I can do the background check and.
- 16:30Speaker 6: Uh what what what? What?
- 16:33Speaker 2: What?
- 16:33Speaker 6: What?
- 16:33Speaker 4: What?
- 16:33Speaker 6: What do you necessarily need to do that for?
- 16:35Speaker 10: Well, you got to know who you're into, and then
- 16:37Speaker 10: you want to know what the credit they got, so
- 16:39Speaker 10: if they can afford the rent or not.
- 16:40Speaker 6: You know, I got I got real good credit, man,
- 16:42Speaker 6: My credit is fine. I'm actually in eight hundreds on
- 16:44Speaker 6: on my credit cord. Damn.
- 16:46Speaker 10: All right, when you get here, will how you feel
- 16:49Speaker 10: out of application? But you know, if if you're ready
- 16:51Speaker 10: to get it cracking, I can do. I can do
- 16:53Speaker 10: a background checking. You right now to give me a
- 16:55Speaker 10: security number?
- 16:56Speaker 6: Okay, well let me let me go ahead and just
- 16:57Speaker 6: do this, man on that background check, because you know
- 17:00Speaker 6: what I want to say about that is this there
- 17:02Speaker 6: might be something on there about like when I was
- 17:05Speaker 6: on the East Coast. You know, I was actually teaching uh,
- 17:08Speaker 6: naked yoga.
- 17:09Speaker 10: You know what I mean, naked yoga.
- 17:10Speaker 6: Uh you know you might see something on there about
- 17:13Speaker 6: me being.
- 17:13Speaker 11: A nephold naked yoga.
- 17:16Speaker 6: You want say, that's what That's the kind of yoga
- 17:17Speaker 6: I was teaching on the East Coast was naked yoga,
- 17:19Speaker 6: you know what I'm saying. And everybody naga yoga here.
- 17:22Speaker 6: But but see it's in the backyard.
- 17:24Speaker 11: It's closed in you know, and you what what what
- 17:27Speaker 11: other glitch you got? You said, there's some glitches, Michael,
- 17:29Speaker 11: Well what is the glitch you got?
- 17:31Speaker 6: Well you might see that I'm a enpho mania but
- 17:33Speaker 6: see they but see I didn't took something. I didn't
- 17:34Speaker 6: took class. I done took counseling for that though.
- 17:38Speaker 11: No, what do you need to take some counseling over
- 17:40Speaker 11: somewhere else? You ain't taking no counseling and doing no
- 17:43Speaker 11: naked yoga in my backyard.
- 17:45Speaker 6: Not but man, all that's behind me now, that's on
- 17:47Speaker 6: the East Coast man, that that's that's all behind me. Now,
- 17:49Speaker 6: I didn't put that thing down.
- 17:50Speaker 10: Man, I don't care if.
- 17:51Speaker 11: It's behind you, in front of you on the side.
- 17:53Speaker 11: You doing naka yoga in my backyard. That thing's happening, man, matter.
- 17:57Speaker 6: May man, listen, that's got all your lits qualify to
- 18:00Speaker 6: move in there. And now you're gonna sit here and

- 20:37Speaker 11: no idea I'm so glad it's a joke.
- 20:39Speaker 6: Man.
- 20:44Speaker 1: What you're listening?
- 20:47Speaker 8: Hard morning show coming up at the top of the
- 20:50Speaker 8: hour and entertainment news. We gotta say congratulations to rapper
- 20:54Speaker 8: Boosy Badass. He has kicked cancers. But that's right, he
- 20:58Speaker 8: is killed cancer. But Tommy, yes, Jamie Fox or someone
- 21:04Speaker 8: close to Jamie Fox in a positive tweet for the
- 21:07Speaker 8: first time in three weeks. We'll talk about that, and
- 21:09Speaker 8: Nick Cannon will temporarily host Jamie Fox's Beat Shazam game show.
- 21:15Speaker 8: That's all coming up at the top of the hour.
- 21:17Speaker 8: But right now it is time to ask the clo
- 21:21Speaker 8: Our chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey is ready. Lisa and
- 21:26Speaker 8: Memphis writes, I'm dating a man that has a twin brother,
- 21:29Speaker 8: and I have more in common with the twin. The
- 21:32Speaker 8: more we talk, the closer we get. The twin told
- 21:35Speaker 8: me that I'm with the wrong brother. Is there any
- 21:38Speaker 8: possible way for me to get with the right twin
- 21:41Speaker 8: respectably respectfully?
- 21:44Speaker 2: No kind of tweets No, it's not. No, it's not.
- 21:48Speaker 2: And you know you're the twin than told you you
- 21:52Speaker 2: with the wrong brother. Ain't much of a twin all brother? No,
- 21:58Speaker 2: so and you all gonna go down row and there's
- 22:00Speaker 2: no way to get with him respectively. You've been with
- 22:03Speaker 2: this man sexually, you can get up out of here.
- 22:06Speaker 12: Now.
- 22:06Speaker 2: If y'all was just talking and y'all just met, then
- 22:09Speaker 2: that's that's an easy flip. But you got to sit
- 22:13Speaker 2: down there as a threesome and talk this out. But
- 22:15Speaker 2: if you've slept with this boy, it's no respectable way
- 22:18Speaker 2: to do that. And I don't I don't know what
- 22:21Speaker 2: kind of brotherhood they got. I just don't know that
- 22:24Speaker 2: is different. I just don't, man, I don't. I little girl,
- 22:29Speaker 2: you might have got with the wrong brother, but you know,
- 22:32Speaker 2: you make mistakes all the time. I think getting with
- 22:35Speaker 2: this brother gonna be a little bit shady because this
- 22:38Speaker 2: dude has a character flaw. And if you don't reckon that,
- 22:41Speaker 2: because let me tell you something, if he'll if if
- 22:45Speaker 2: if he'll backstab his brother, you don't think he'll do you. Now,
- 22:52Speaker 2: this dude, this, this this right twin has a character flaw. Yeah,
- 22:59Speaker 2: he won't want he won't at any cost. That's gonna
- 23:02Speaker 2: come around again, little girl, If I was you, I'd
- 23:05Speaker 2: pay attention to that, all right.
- 23:07Speaker 8: Moving on to fran scene and little rock fran scene says,
- 23:10Speaker 8: my husband and I argue over stupid stuff all the time,
- 23:14Speaker 8: But last night he called his mom and told her
- 23:17Speaker 8: that she was right for calling me a bee.
- 23:19Speaker 1: I didn't know she felt that way.
- 23:21Speaker 8: Yeah, so I'm gonna need to address it with her.
- 23:24Speaker 8: Is it cool to confront his mama?
- 23:27Speaker 6: No?
- 23:28Speaker 2: No, the problem is your little mama. Boy man that
- 23:34Speaker 2: then called his mama to discuss his marriage with his mama,
- 23:38Speaker 2: That on your problem. It ain't what the mama said.
- 23:42Speaker 2: So now what you're finna do? You finna fight the
- 23:44Speaker 2: mom about it.
- 23:47Speaker 1: It's a lose lose.
- 23:49Speaker 2: But the fact that your husband is sitting up in
- 23:52Speaker 2: here saying about his wife, you're right, she is a bee.
- 23:57Speaker 2: That on your problem right there. You can't straighten him.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Even if you straighten the mama out, your dysfunctional man
- 24:04Speaker 2: that already referred to you as the B word, and
- 24:07Speaker 2: that go your problem.
- 24:09Speaker 1: I don't understand what should she do?
- 24:11Speaker 3: Lee?
- 24:13Speaker 2: I mean, look, if y'all can't fix this fight, you
- 24:16Speaker 2: know what you want me to tell you? I don't know. Yeah,
- 24:20Speaker 2: but you got it, you know. I mean, if your
- 24:21Speaker 2: marriage is worth fighting for, y'all got to straighten some
- 24:24Speaker 2: stuff out. All marriages hit a bumpy rope, all of them.
- 24:28Speaker 1: True.
- 24:28Speaker 2: I've never called my wife that.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Ever, or allow everyone else to call her that anybody.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Yeah, now you called my wife that. Me and you're
- 24:38Speaker 2: finna go to work?
- 24:40Speaker 12: Yes?
- 24:40Speaker 2: Absolutely, man, you're finn to be at work partner, right,
- 24:43Speaker 2: and I'm sixty six years old. We're finn be at work.
- 24:47Speaker 2: We all got one left though, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's
- 24:50Speaker 2: gonna be slow work, but we're gonna put it in though.
- 24:53Speaker 2: It's gonna get done.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Yeah all right, yeah.
- 24:58Speaker 8: Moving on to Chante and Frisco, Chante says, our gym
- 25:02Speaker 8: has a steam room, and I was in there by myself.
- 25:05Speaker 8: A man came in and sat down. I guess he
- 25:08Speaker 8: unwrapped his towel, revealing his penis. I didn't notice it.
- 25:12Speaker 8: My husband came in and saw it. Now, how do
- 25:15Speaker 8: I convince my husband that I didn't.
- 25:17Speaker 1: See it at all?
- 25:18Speaker 2: Didn't you say you saw it?
- 25:20Speaker 8: She said, I guess he unwrapped his towel, revealing it.
- 25:24Speaker 8: She didn't notice it.
- 25:25Speaker 9: He probably just got out the cold plunge though, That's
- 25:27Speaker 9: why she didn't see.
- 25:28Speaker 8: Her husband came in and saw it. Her husband came
- 25:32Speaker 8: in and saw it, but her husband thinks she saw
- 25:35Speaker 8: it too. But she saying, where are y'all.
- 25:37Speaker 2: At with this?
- 25:38Speaker 6: Co ed?
- 25:39Speaker 2: NICKI you know, second, man, stop putting yourself in these
- 25:46Speaker 2: uncompromising positions. I don't know, look, but I.
- 25:49Speaker 8: Mean there's something that she obviously normally does. Just go
- 25:53Speaker 8: to the steam room maybe after the gen Yeah, after
- 25:55Speaker 8: the gem.
- 25:57Speaker 1: And a man came in there.
- 25:58Speaker 5: Yeah, but she didn't know.
- 26:00Speaker 1: She was doing what she was doing.
- 26:01Speaker 2: I mean, she didn't do nothing wrong, but she.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Can't can Her husband thinks she saw it, and he's mad,
- 26:07Speaker 1: you know, So how can you see?
- 26:09Speaker 3: Well?
- 26:10Speaker 2: Okay, can I tell you the way I would react?
- 26:12Speaker 1: Okay?
- 26:12Speaker 2: Yeah, if I come in the same room and my
- 26:14Speaker 2: wife's sitting over there and you don't unwrap your child,
- 26:16Speaker 2: I'm gonna sit right between y'all and I'm gonna ask
- 26:19Speaker 2: you what's up?
- 26:20Speaker 8: Mm hm.
- 26:21Speaker 2: You know you got two seconds to wrap this up. Yeah.
- 26:25Speaker 1: You're not going to be mad at your wife, are you.

- 26:57Speaker 2: coming up out the steamer. You think it's hot in here,
- 27:01Speaker 2: y'all gonna be fighting everywhere, hard to fight, niked and wet.

- 34:41Speaker 2: because the public didn't know what it was. That's what
- 34:44Speaker 2: that means. So in his very French quarte. That's what
- 34:50Speaker 2: he was saying. It wasn't a negative. She is Rihanna.
- 34:53Speaker 2: After camerameal though? What is camerameal camera?
- 34:56Speaker 6: Mill?
- 34:56Speaker 2: Don't worry about that, Tommy. It's a flyer with that
- 34:58Speaker 2: called Laga film. I really loved the called Lauga Feil.
- 35:03Speaker 2: It was the theme. That's why people dressed as the cat.
- 35:05Speaker 2: That's why those you cat Nutty asked was standing up
- 35:08Speaker 2: to ask some questions in men and the lady kept
- 35:13Speaker 2: trying to get her to go deeper, and she just
- 35:16Speaker 2: stayed in the cat. And we had listened to the
- 35:19Speaker 2: whole damn interview. I was so bad.
- 35:22Speaker 5: I liked it.
- 35:24Speaker 1: It was fun. It was just fun.
- 35:28Speaker 8: So congratulations. We started talking about Rihanna. Congratulations to Rihanna.
- 35:33Speaker 8: Most watched halftime show ever. All right, coming up in
- 35:37Speaker 8: twenty minutes after the hour, Temmy has a question about
- 35:40Speaker 8: summer vacation. We'll get to that right after this.
- 35:43Speaker 1: You're listening morning show, all right, Steve Tummy's here. He
- 35:48Speaker 1: has a question for you. I'm talking about the summer vacation.
- 35:52Speaker 9: It's some vacation. So you know, me and Jack can't
- 35:54Speaker 9: figured out what we was gonna do. And then it
- 35:56Speaker 9: hit me last night and I'm like, you know what,
- 35:57Speaker 9: let me go ahead and break this to him. And
- 35:59Speaker 9: I was gonna call and Margarine talk to her, but
- 36:03Speaker 9: this is what we've decided, what I've decided that we're
- 36:06Speaker 9: gonna do for summer vacation.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Or you start calling aim, margin ain't ever gonna work
- 36:11Speaker 2: out for you, but go ahead.
- 36:12Speaker 9: Oh no, she should be all right with this, don't
- 36:14Speaker 9: don't worry about don't listen. So normally you guys take
- 36:17Speaker 9: a cruise in the summer on you know, your own
- 36:19Speaker 9: personal uh yacht, and uh, I think what I'm gonna
- 36:24Speaker 9: do is is get the upper me and Jackie gonna
- 36:28Speaker 9: get the promenade level on your on your boat, and
- 36:30Speaker 9: you and Marjorie take the mezzanine level, and we're gonna
- 36:34Speaker 9: go out with y'all now, just so we'll have our privacy.
- 36:38Speaker 9: We really don't want y'all on our deck on our level,
- 36:41Speaker 9: you know, So y'all stay on y'all level, We stay
- 36:44Speaker 9: on ours, and I think everybody'll be fine. But we
- 36:47Speaker 9: just can't find nowhere to go this year, and uh
- 36:49Speaker 9: so I think just us going out on the yacht
- 36:52Speaker 9: with you all, we're gonna be with you, but not
- 36:54Speaker 9: with you. So it's just a level on this on
- 36:56Speaker 9: the boat that y'all just won't have access to. And
- 37:00Speaker 9: and I'll go and invite Junior, but Junior got to
- 37:02Speaker 9: do his house, so he kind of little preoccupied. But yeah,
- 37:06Speaker 9: so I guess what I want from you is to
- 37:08Speaker 9: find out what time, what what they do we push
- 37:10Speaker 9: off this embark or what disembark or whatever they call it, uh,
- 37:17Speaker 9: and then what they do we come back in and
- 37:21Speaker 9: can you give me the number to the to the chefs.
- 37:24Speaker 9: So you know, when I want ox tails, because y'all
- 37:26Speaker 9: eat all that other stuff, but when I want ox
- 37:27Speaker 9: tails and fried chicken and stuff that I know I won't,
- 37:31Speaker 9: I'll be prepared to get in the.
- 37:32Speaker 2: Menu that we look for greens and yams.
- 37:34Speaker 9: And you know, when you got people that ain't African American,
- 37:38Speaker 9: you want to make sure they work on cooking.
- 37:40Speaker 2: The greens and yams and practice it and practice. But
- 37:42Speaker 2: we get that. So but we'll take the mezzanine. Y'all
- 37:46Speaker 2: take the promenade. And I just learned.
- 37:49Speaker 9: I just found out what these levels are. But yeah,
- 37:51Speaker 9: we're gonna take the mezzanine. Never y'all ask you a question. Yes,
- 37:57Speaker 9: have you thought about giving this part of it any thought?
- 38:00Speaker 9: Have you thought about considered or are you aware of
- 38:05Speaker 9: your cost for the mezzanine level. I haven't thought about
- 38:10Speaker 9: the costs. Okay, go go go ahead, man. Do you
- 38:12Speaker 9: want to be on the whole trip?
- 38:14Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, yeah, we got that the whole time, and
- 38:18Speaker 2: swim with the whales. Cool, all that, all that. Don't
- 38:21Speaker 2: go over there, swim with swim with the whales. Go
- 38:26Speaker 2: ahead on that. Now, let me say this to you.
- 38:28Speaker 2: Do you want me to text you what your cut
- 38:31Speaker 2: would be? I want you to tell me right here,
- 38:33Speaker 2: right now. I ain't scared tell me what it is. Oh,
- 38:36Speaker 2: go ahead, boy, your cut would be about We're gonna
- 38:39Speaker 2: give you the all inclusive price when we come back.
- 38:43Speaker 2: Let me calculate it so I can give you the
- 38:45Speaker 2: all inclusive price when we come back. I'll tell Tommy
- 38:49Speaker 2: what this portion of the vacational costs.
- 38:51Speaker 8: Y'all be ready, all right, and coming up to Roscoe
- 38:54Speaker 8: is in the building right after this.

- 53:32Speaker 2: We got it for you. Here it is strawberry letter.
- 53:35Speaker 8: Thank you, nephew. Subject my neighbor hid my side dude.
- 53:39Speaker 8: Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been married for almost ten years.
- 53:43Speaker 8: My husband had a baby with another woman six years ago,
- 53:47Speaker 8: and things haven't been the same since then. I was
- 53:51Speaker 8: broken and felt like I was not good enough to
- 53:54Speaker 8: be loved. I left my husband for two years, and
- 53:57Speaker 8: he got baptized and gave his testimony to the church
- 54:00Speaker 8: and asked for forgiveness. Our pastor pressured me to move
- 54:04Speaker 8: back home and fix my marriage. I embraced my stepdaughter
- 54:08Speaker 8: and we're besties now, but my husband and I were
- 54:12Speaker 8: never the same. I confided with one of the choir
- 54:16Speaker 8: members at our church and he knew my history with
- 54:19Speaker 8: my husband. We ended up having a sexual and a
- 54:22Speaker 8: spiritual connection and it's helped with my self esteem. My
- 54:27Speaker 8: boyfriend started coming to our house and he parked in
- 54:30Speaker 8: my neighbor's driveway to hide his car. My neighbor was
- 54:33Speaker 8: cool with it and said she was happy that I
- 54:36Speaker 8: was getting my group back. I trusted her with my secret.
- 54:40Speaker 8: I figured my boyfriend wouldn't hurt me since he knew
- 54:43Speaker 8: about trauma I had been through. Sunday, my husband was
- 54:47Speaker 8: at work, so my boyfriend said he would stop by
- 54:50Speaker 8: for a quickie after church.
- 54:52Speaker 1: I skipped church to prepare for him.
- 54:54Speaker 8: Around two pm, I started calling and texting him, but
- 54:58Speaker 8: he didn't answer. All to ask my neighbor if she'd
- 55:02Speaker 8: seen him, and she didn't answer. I have to walk
- 55:05Speaker 8: around her house to see her driveway, and my intuition
- 55:09Speaker 8: told me to go over there. My boyfriend's car was
- 55:12Speaker 8: right there. I knocked and my boyfriend came to the
- 55:15Speaker 8: door shirtless. He said I'm sorry. I tried to push
- 55:21Speaker 8: past him to get to my neighbor, but he strong
- 55:24Speaker 8: armed me. They said they would call the police if
- 55:27Speaker 8: I didn't leave. My neighbor hid my side dude from me,
- 55:31Speaker 8: and I'm not losing another man. How does this keep happening?
- 55:36Speaker 8: That's the wrong question you should be asking, how how
- 55:41Speaker 8: did this happen? How do you move on from this mess.
- 55:45Speaker 8: I mean, one thing for sure, One thing for sure
- 55:47Speaker 8: in this letter is that none of you guys need
- 55:50Speaker 8: to be cheating, none of you, from your husband to you,
- 55:53Speaker 8: to your side dude, to your neighbor. You're all very
- 55:56Speaker 8: bad at cheating, and then you get mean with it
- 55:59Speaker 8: when you get caught, like you know your boyfriend and
- 56:03Speaker 8: your neighbor did. That was terrible what they did, said
- 56:05Speaker 8: they were going to call the police on you. You're
- 56:07Speaker 8: all very bad at it, and your pastor should have
- 56:11Speaker 8: stayed out of your business.
- 56:12Speaker 1: He was wrong too. You were vulnerable, you were broken
- 56:15Speaker 1: at the time.
- 56:16Speaker 8: He had no right to pressure you to take your
- 56:19Speaker 8: husband back after your husband had a baby with another woman. Okay,
- 56:24Speaker 8: that's strictly your decision. He should have recommended therapy or
- 56:28Speaker 8: counseling or something like that for you guys, so you
- 56:31Speaker 8: could regain some self esteem and maybe start a forgiveness process.
- 56:35Speaker 8: Whether you took him back or not, you guys could
- 56:37Speaker 8: have at least talked it out or tried. You and
- 56:40Speaker 8: your husband I think would have been much better going
- 56:42Speaker 8: your separate ways, because you said your marriage was never
- 56:45Speaker 8: the same after the baby, and that's understandable. And I
- 56:48Speaker 8: know it's possible to forgive, but to get back with
- 56:51Speaker 8: your husband after that kind of betrayal is nearly impossible.
- 56:56Speaker 8: And by the way I say thank you, I do
- 56:58Speaker 8: want to thank you for embracing the baby, because it's definitely,
- 57:02Speaker 8: definitely not her fault. She's an innocent bystander in all
- 57:05Speaker 8: of this.
- 57:06Speaker 1: But it's over. It's over now.
- 57:08Speaker 8: You and your husband may as well stop the bleeding,
- 57:11Speaker 8: get a divorce, and I suggest you change churches and
- 57:15Speaker 8: if you can move, because this is just a mess.
- 57:18Speaker 1: Your neighbor, it's just too messy.
- 57:21Speaker 5: Steve, Well, you know you are.
- 57:23Speaker 2: This letter has I think Shirley pointed it out. But
- 57:28Speaker 2: this letter has a lot of people doing a lot
- 57:31Speaker 2: of wrong stuff in this letter. And it's so much
- 57:35Speaker 2: wrong in this letter that there's no right that can
- 57:38Speaker 2: come out of it. I mean, there is a I've
- 57:41Speaker 2: only found one right thing you did in this letter
- 57:45Speaker 2: that I thought had bore Mary. I'll share it with you.
- 57:48Speaker 2: You've been married for ten years. Your her husband had
- 57:52Speaker 2: a baby with another woman six years ago, and things
- 57:57Speaker 2: haven't been the same since then. I was broken, felt
- 58:01Speaker 2: like you weren't good enough to be loved. Now you
- 58:05Speaker 2: left your husband for two years. You didn't divorce him.
- 58:11Speaker 2: You left him for two years, so you all were
- 58:14Speaker 2: still married. That's how you got to the total of
- 58:17Speaker 2: ten years. So you left him for two years. He
- 58:20Speaker 2: got baptized, gave his testimony to the church and asked
- 58:24Speaker 2: for forgiveness. Fine, y'all could have forgave it, but then
- 58:28Speaker 2: you pumped your pastor pressured you to move back home
- 58:31Speaker 2: and fix my marriage. Here's a problem. You didn't even
- 58:36Speaker 2: want your husband back. You was gone for two years
- 58:39Speaker 2: trying to pull yourself together. You didn't even want him.
- 58:43Speaker 2: Why would you move back in a house to repair
- 58:46Speaker 2: a marriage that you don't even want. You could have
- 58:50Speaker 2: forgave him, but forgiven it don't mean forgetting. I learned
- 58:55Speaker 2: that from Bishop Jacobs. Now here's the only redeeming thing.
- 58:59Speaker 2: I embraced my stepdaughter and with Bestie's Now, well, that's admirable,
- 59:04Speaker 2: love it. But my husband and I were never the same.
- 59:07Speaker 2: The reason you were never the same was because you
- 59:11Speaker 2: might have forgiven him, but you couldn't forget with him,
- 59:14Speaker 2: and you were never comfortable with him and his explanation
- 59:17Speaker 2: of it. I confided in one of the choir members
- 59:20Speaker 2: at your church. He knew your history with your husband.
- 59:22Speaker 2: Y'all end up having sex and a spiritual connection and
- 59:25Speaker 2: it helped me with myself and Steve, why do people
- 59:28Speaker 2: mix God with their sin? Lo, you have a sexual
- 59:32Speaker 2: relationship with the choir member, but you want to throw
- 59:35Speaker 2: the lawd in it because it was a spiritual connection. No,
- 59:38Speaker 2: it wasn't. It was a church connection. He was a
- 59:41Speaker 2: choir member and you are a regular member. That ain't
- 59:44Speaker 2: a spiritual connection. Y'all met at the church.
- 59:48Speaker 8: Hang on, Steve, hang on, we'll have that say to
- 59:51Speaker 8: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 59:55Speaker 8: Today's Strawberry Letters subject my neighbor hid my side dude.
- 59:59Speaker 8: We'll get into it right after this. You're listening hard
- 1:00:03Speaker 8: morning show. Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry Letter
- 1:00:07Speaker 8: of the subject my neighbor hid my side dude.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: Okay, quickly, lady was married for ten years. Six years ago,
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: her husband had an affair, had a baby with another woman,
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: and things ain't been the same since you were broken.
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: You left your husband for two years. For two years,
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: but you were still married, but you left him for
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: two years. Now he got baptized and gave his testimony
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: to the church and asked for forgiveness. Then your pastor
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: pressured me to move back home and fix my marriage
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: problem with that. You didn't want to. You didn't want to,
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: And like Shirley said, pastor really should have stayed out
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: of it. But pastors should have been more concerned with
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: the way you were feeling. You should have went and
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: talked to somebody about what you was feeling, because you
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: didn't even want the man back. So now you took
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: him back and you worked on it. But you embraced
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: your step daughter and y'all besties, which is good of you.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: But you and your husband were never the same because
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: you couldn't move past And if you can't move past it,
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: then you got to move on. That's what women should do.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: If you can't get past the cheating, then you got
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: to get past the relationship. Just move on or else
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: you're gonna live there trying to grapple it. And it
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: ain't your fault. I can find it with the choir
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: members at our church. He knew your history with your husband.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: We ended up having a sexual and spiritual connection. And
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: to help with my self esteem. Oh now, because somebody
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: won't you, which ain't hard to find. Now your self
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: esteem is up. But now y'all want to have a
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: sexual and spiritual connection. It's not a spiritual connection, it's
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: just a church connection. He just a dude in a
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: choir that knew you was broken and vulnerable, stepped in
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: and said all the things you wanted to hear, and
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: now he at you. My boyfriend started coming to our
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: house and he would park in my neighbor's driveway to
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: hide his car. So now you're married, but now you
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: got this boyfriend that's coming over your house that know
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: you married, and parking in your neighbor's driveway to hide
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: this car. My neighbor was cool with it, says she
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: was happy. I was getting my groove back all this
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: while you was married. Now I ain't I understand where
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: you're coming from, because you was hurt and it's to
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: get back moved. I got that, But you do know
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: this ain't cool. And if it was cool, you wouldn't
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: have had to hide his car in your neighbor's drive
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: I trusted her with my secret. I figured my boyfriend
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: wouldn't hurt me since he knew about the trauma I
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: had been through. Your boyfriend was the one who took
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: advantage of your trump. Now you're thinking he won't hurt you.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: What did he did that won't hurt you? Why? Because
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: he wanted to sleep with you. Give you your groove back,
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: give yourself a steam back. You misunderstood what this was
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: for a lady. Sunday, my husband was at work, so
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: my boyfriend said he stopped by for a quickie after church.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Oh yeah, he taking care of you. Oh he care
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: about you. You down to a quickie now? I skipped
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: church to prepare for him. Now, you ain't even going
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: down there to see God, no body, so you stay
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: at the house and get touched up on her quicket.
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: I don't know how y'all think some good supposed to
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: come out of this? You skipping church now so you
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: can get done. I skipped church to prepare for him.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: Around two pm. I started calling and texting him, but
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: he didn't answer. I called her, as my neighbor has
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: seen him. She ain't asked. I had to walk around
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: to her house to see her driveway, and my intuition
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: that told me to go over there. My boyfriend's congs
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: right there, right there. I knocked and my boyfriend came
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: to the door shirtless. He opened the door and said,
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: I'm sorry, Damn bet, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry that
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: the dog that I am. And now you know, because
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: I was just taking advantage of your situation. I mean,
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: what you want me to do? You got her husband?
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: He just up at the church right now. So I
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: was just gonna come by and tap right quick. And
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: then you know, I was over here with your neighbor,
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: and your neighbor know I'm tapping, and then looking look
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: at your neighbor. You know. She said, Well, since you're
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: over there tapping, I ain't got nobody. You can park
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: in my driveway. You might as well come on in.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: What did you hiding, folk, cause I ain't gonna hide.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: You can park in my driveway. Everybody see you'll call
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: over him. Let's gonna do this here, he said, I'm sorry.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: I tried to push past him to get to my neighbor,
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: but he's strong arm. Now, now, what you gonna with
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: the neighbor?
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: Ass?
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: You the one married your neighbors sinks. The shirtless dude
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: is the one that went over there. What you pushing
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: past him for? See, you got all to blame in
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: the wrong place. They said they would call the police office,
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: not if it to turn your ass. Who damn what
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: happened to black lives? Man? Lord himbers? What what happened
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: to black lives matter?
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: Now?
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: They finna call the police on your heads. You got
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: to get back over to the house because your husband
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: gonna wonder what do they call the police on it?
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: Because the choir boy was over here without his shirt on.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: My neighbor hid my side dude from me. And I'm
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: not losing another man. He not your man. Your man
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: is at the house, the one you didn't want, the
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: one that got the other lady pregnant while y'all was married.
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: He your man. You not finna lose another man. He
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: not your man. He choir boy. Y'all need to do
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: some work research on him because that ain't his only stop.
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: How does this keep happening to me? Because you keep
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: thinking wrong. First of all, you took a man back
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: you didn't want. Then you started sleeping with a man
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: that didn't want you. You see what's having so everybody
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: is aligned with they needs. It ain't nobody cared about
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: none of your needs. You need to take some time
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: to do you You spend time with you and cut
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: all these losers loose. You need to move out the
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: house with your because that ain't working.

- 1:06:24Speaker 8: Talk right after this.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: Morning show?
- 1:06:29Speaker 8: All right, it is time now for Junior and Sports Talk.
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: Ain't JR?
- 1:06:32Speaker 6: What you got? No?
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: Not today? Sure, I'm not doing sports today. I can't.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: I can't do it. I can't. Okay, just no games
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: is on the night? Watch find out whatever you know? Yeah, break, Yeah,
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: it's too much.
- 1:06:46Speaker 7: Let me tell you something, man, This homeowner stuff is
- 1:06:48Speaker 7: way deeper than I thought. This ain't just living here.
- 1:06:52Speaker 7: First of all you yeah, First of all, I have
- 1:06:55Speaker 7: noticed that none of my furniture from my apartment working here.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: No, you thought that fragile stuff you had bought when
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: you live by your brand new home you bought, Yeah,
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: I thought it was. It don't even fill up a room.
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: It ain't enough. It filled up an apartment, It don't
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: fill up a house. That some ship you had on
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: the wall in your apartment is now look like a stamp.
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: It do man, unkie look just like a stamp so
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: so high. Your mirror that was on the wall in
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: your apartment now up there on your wall looked like
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: a hand held.
- 1:07:33Speaker 7: Yeah, it looked like a handhad. So my question is, like,
- 1:07:37Speaker 7: what's the process of buying furniture for a house.
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: Like you have some stores?
- 1:07:41Speaker 7: I can go some places, I can look at it.
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you right now, I don't have no stores. Look,
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: listen to me. You stay out of maudie hobby pocket.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: It ain't gonna do nothing to hurt your feeling. I
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: can't recommend nothing. But I have not been to a
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: store in Atlanta. I don't know where the furniture stores is.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: But var or whatever they call it, I just send
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: you down now. I bought something down there for my
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: golf rooms. Okay, but I don't really know. You know,
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: that's the only story I've ever been through here. So
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: what about it?
- 1:08:13Speaker 7: So what about you said something like when I said
- 1:08:16Speaker 7: you said landscaping, I said cut the yard. You mean
- 1:08:20Speaker 7: that ain't landscaping, Junior, that's cutting the grass in the
- 1:08:24Speaker 7: landscaping is two different people, two different people.
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you mean? Man the yard? And then
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: see all he do. Now you gotta bring somebody in
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: there to design your landscape. That feis the climate that
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: you live in here out the neighborhood. And I say, yeah, yeah,
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: y'all get some notes from some white folks.
- 1:08:48Speaker 7: Yeah, see, cut, y'all have had this already. I said,
- 1:08:50Speaker 7: I just don't know. If I don't know, I can't
- 1:08:52Speaker 7: be faulty for something.
- 1:08:54Speaker 12: And they.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: Homeowners Association, eight people across the street. That's going to
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: be in your business from here on out. The height
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: of your mailbox, the size of your mailbox, the type
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: of numbers you got on your address all that? What color?
- 1:09:14Speaker 5: No you got your house?
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: What don't come in here painting your shingles any color?
- 1:09:20Speaker 8: What? Oh?
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: You don't learn today?
- 1:09:24Speaker 8: Coming up at the top of the hour, our professional
- 1:09:27Speaker 8: single women missing out on love because their standards are
- 1:09:29Speaker 8: too high.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:09:32Speaker 5: You're listening morning show.
- 1:09:37Speaker 8: On a recent episode of The Grillo, host Ebanie K.
- 1:09:40Speaker 8: Williams was interviewing author and life coach Ian Lavan sent
- 1:09:45Speaker 8: And while they were talking about modern women and femininity,
- 1:09:49Speaker 8: Ebanie asked a Yon Love for advice for the single
- 1:09:51Speaker 8: women that think available men are not positioned to protect
- 1:09:55Speaker 8: nor provide a yan La post one simple question to Ebanie.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: She asked her, would you date a bus driver?
- 1:10:02Speaker 8: Evani said she would only date a bus driver if
- 1:10:06Speaker 8: he owns the bus Ianla told her that we think
- 1:10:10Speaker 8: it's another human beings responsibility to give us what we
- 1:10:13Speaker 8: need instead of us building together. Iyana said she can
- 1:10:16Speaker 8: build with the bus driver. So here's the question, guys,
- 1:10:20Speaker 8: our professional single women missing out on love because their
- 1:10:24Speaker 8: standards are too high.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: Steve, I don't think women's standards are too high, and
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: I don't think women should lower their standards. Right, here's
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: the problem. Your standards can be misguided. They're not too high, like,
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: for example, the bus driver. Okay, so the guy's driving
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: the bus. He's a wonderful human being, he has the ability.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: But in a partnership, you may be just the thing
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: he needs to buy the bus. See, you need to
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: marry for potential. You really need to start looking at
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: the potential of a person, because I mean, I don't
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: care where you are today. Once we get together, we're
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: not gonna remain here. Were either gonna go up or
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: we're gonna down, or we're gonna remain the same. The
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: objective should be to move and better each other. So
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: the plans should be to move up. Yeah, man, let
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: me get with this guy and talk to him. I'm
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: an attorney. Let me show you something right here, and
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: maybe y'all can by the bus. Now, if you talk
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: to the man through the dating process and you find
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: out he don't want nothing but to be the bus driver,
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: can you move on?
- 1:11:30Speaker 6: Yes?
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: But if a person, if you if you're hooking up
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: with a person that does not have aspirations, then you
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: can expect to hook up with a person who has
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: no plans of going anywhere, and you don't have to
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: sign up for that as a woman. But if this
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: man said, I've been working, I've been putting my money together,
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: I'm trying to open up a bids I want to
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: do that, that's a man with a plan. You may
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: be just the thing that he needs to get there.
- 1:11:55Speaker 8: That was good because you know her standards are her standards.
- 1:12:02Speaker 8: They're not too high, that's what you're saying. And don't
- 1:12:05Speaker 8: lower your standards. You don't have to lot of standards.
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: Are you need to be employed?
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: Yeah you know, yeah, you.
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: Didn't have a job together, like you said, exactly, exactly
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: I love these because you know, we missed that sometimes. Yeah,
- 1:12:25Speaker 4: but you got to build that empire together together.
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I love that. Yeah, but everybody wants somebody that's
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: ready made.
- 1:12:35Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what a lot of women won't do. That's
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: what that's But that number of men is in one percent.
- 1:12:42Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean, but she's an accomplished woman. She's an
- 1:12:48Speaker 8: accomplished woman. But she did get dragged for her comment
- 1:12:52Speaker 8: if he owns the bus, but she says she's an attorney,
- 1:12:55Speaker 8: you know, and all that, so she wants.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: Someone by herself. Yeah, but exactly.
- 1:13:00Speaker 9: But I've seen ladies on my show. First thing out
- 1:13:02Speaker 9: think mouth. If he can't pay my bills, we don't
- 1:13:05Speaker 9: need to be talking about now.
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: I've seen it. We've seen it recently. Read it a
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: love Yeah, this past he can't pay my bills. We
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: don't even know others nowhere in it. But he listened
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: to me. These women who go in here with this attitude.
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: If he can't pay my bills, women hold up the
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: prereckerencing to dating you is I got to be able
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: to pay these bills. You can miss me with that one. Yeah.
- 1:13:30Speaker 4: I think what it is for women to we are
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: raised that you don't take care of a man.
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: So you see what I'm saying.
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: He shot something that we're a talk over and over
- 1:13:41Speaker 4: and over as young ladies, at least I was, and
- 1:13:44Speaker 4: so when you get to be an adult, you I
- 1:13:46Speaker 4: think with women sometimes if you don't bring anything to
- 1:13:49Speaker 4: the table, it goes with it. I can do bad
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: on by myself with that kind of thing. So with
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: a man, you need to make sure that you all
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: are in the same level or achieving and strive in
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: trying to get to that level. So I think that's
- 1:14:03Speaker 4: that's an issue that you know, we as women, we
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: deal with all the time.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: Bottom line, don't you don't have to lower your standards
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: all right?
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: Right now?
- 1:14:13Speaker 5: That's true.
- 1:14:15Speaker 8: Coming up at twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 1:14:17Speaker 8: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: Right after this, you're.
- 1:14:21Speaker 5: Listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:25Speaker 8: During a recent interview, the owner of the Kansas City Chiefs,
- 1:14:29Speaker 8: Clark Hunt, admitted that Patrick Mahomes is underpaid, and he
- 1:14:34Speaker 8: suggested that Mahomes.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: Will always be underpaid.
- 1:14:37Speaker 8: As Hunt explained, quote, I don't know that there's really
- 1:14:41Speaker 8: a way to quantify it financially, and no matter what
- 1:14:46Speaker 8: he makes over his career. I'm sure one way or another,
- 1:14:49Speaker 8: he'll be underpaid. Here's a question, do you agree? Do
- 1:14:53Speaker 8: you feel Do you agree, Steve, you feel like mahomes
- 1:14:56Speaker 8: is underpaid.
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: Or you can't? You know, you can't know if they're
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: working to pay.
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: But I'm underpaid me too. Yeah, I don't give it.
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: Damn about my home?
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: Why do you feel like you're paid?
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: Why?
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: Why do you feel like?
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: I know I'm underpaid with what I do and the
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: value I bring, and I've only been able to negotiate
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: to a certain point. I'm underpaid because I know people
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: with far less talent who make way more money.
- 1:15:29Speaker 5: Mm hmm.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: But but doesn't everyone feel like no one is really
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: paid what they're worse?
- 1:15:35Speaker 8: Yeah, it's hard. How do you, like you said, how
- 1:15:38Speaker 8: do you quantify that? How do you put a number
- 1:15:40Speaker 8: on that?
- 1:15:41Speaker 5: How do you?
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: I mean you could come up with the number and
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: that number, Yeah, they gonna give it to you.
- 1:15:52Speaker 8: That's why you should always ask for more. Well, decision
- 1:15:57Speaker 8: through all Right, more the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Speaking
- 1:16:01Speaker 8: of more coming up in thirty three minutes after, we'll
- 1:16:04Speaker 8: play a round of would you rather right after this?
- 1:16:07Speaker 5: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: It is time now for a round of wood you rather?
- 1:16:12Speaker 8: Would you rather fried fish with hot sauce or fried
- 1:16:16Speaker 8: fish with tartar sauce?
- 1:16:18Speaker 9: Fish, hot sauce, hot sauce, Yeah, hot sauce. I like
- 1:16:22Speaker 9: the tarte mixed with some hot sauce.
- 1:16:24Speaker 6: I like that.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I've seen that. I've seen people do that.
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: I like tartar sauce with lemon. He'll know what type
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: of fish it is, a West brom. I also like
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: malted dinner. But it's gotta be hot fish, not tato
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: like Long john Still, that's not fish at Long Johns.
- 1:16:47Speaker 12: What is that?
- 1:16:48Speaker 6: What is that?
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: Fish?
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: By product?
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: Is fishy?
- 1:16:54Speaker 8: All right, Okay, let's stay in the food for a second.
- 1:16:57Speaker 8: Would you rather barbecue on a grass gill? On a
- 1:17:00Speaker 8: on a gas grill?
- 1:17:02Speaker 6: There I go?
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: Would you rather barbecue on a gas griller? Would you
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: rather barbecue on charcoal?
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: I'm a lump man all day?
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: What's wrong with gas?
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: Wood pellets?
- 1:17:15Speaker 6: Now?
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: They got wood pellets? Now, little pellets look like grain. Excellent,
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: it's not not at all. You don't catch on fire
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: no more because wood chunks catch on fire. Sometimes you ain't.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: If you do it on a gas grilla as opposed
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: to charcoal.
- 1:17:33Speaker 5: Yes, girl, yes.
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: You you don't tell Damn about why she's the perfect person,
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: because she needs to know everything.
- 1:17:47Speaker 8: Would you rather go to dinner with a former boss
- 1:17:49Speaker 8: or would you rather give each one of.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: Your co workers five thousand dollars?
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: I want to go to dinner with all my former
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: boss to dinner. I want to go to dinner with
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: that dude that ran in DC that took off my
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: talk show and a little bit shots. I want to
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: go to dinner with him. I want to go to
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: dinner with Bill Neighbors from Ford. I want to go
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: to dinner with Tom Hawks from Tomming wealthy insurance company.
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: All all sitting up there, you have some bosses.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: What's your theme with the What about the insurance company?
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: Dude?
- 1:18:26Speaker 4: He fired you because you flipped the table on the table,
- 1:18:28Speaker 4: Tom Hawks?
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: So what you're gonna him about? I just want to
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: he arhim at the table? Oh, I'm oh, I'm buying please, Yeah,
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: I want to. I want to see what they want.
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: I want to see what I got on. I'm gonna
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: be outside greeting them at valet. Yeah, how are you?
- 1:18:53Speaker 12: Yeah?

- 1:19:18Speaker 5: Coming up?
- 1:19:18Speaker 8: At forty nine minutes after the hour? Will close out
- 1:19:21Speaker 8: the show with some closing remarks right after this. You're
- 1:19:24Speaker 8: listening hard morning show?
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:19:28Speaker 8: See before we get to your closing remarks, today got
- 1:19:32Speaker 8: to say happy Senko demayo.
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: It is may fishy Tomayo.
- 1:19:36Speaker 5: Yeah, Margaret dam.
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: To all my Latino brothers and sisters. I don't really
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: know the full meaning of single tomayo home, but I
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: don't want you to take that in an offensive way.
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: I just don't know the full meaning of it and
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: what it represents to you and your culture. I don't.
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: I ain't really clear about Fourth of July either, so
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: I get it, but I want to say I love you,
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: I appreciate y'all. I've learned a lot from your culture.
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: I made some friendship from your culture. So happy single

- 1:20:16Speaker 2: appreciate the ef y'all put forth, and mostly I appreciate
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: the fighting spirit, because y'all spirit for fighting this outstanding.
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: I don't mean physically fighting. I'm talking about the fight
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: to survive. So happy sinkle to maeo baby. May fifth,
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: whatever that means, do you double it?
- 1:20:35Speaker 8: A yearly celebration held on May fifth, which commemorates the
- 1:20:39Speaker 8: anniversary of victory over the Second French Empire of the
- 1:20:44Speaker 8: Battle of Puebla in eighteen sixty two.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: Uh and the victory over the French army was a
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: morale bat see.
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: I thought it was Alamo's.
- 1:20:56Speaker 5: Wow, what you say?
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: I thought, why don't you say something in Spanish?
- 1:21:04Speaker 6: You know?
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: No, I don't make it worse, Tell me just hold on,
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: don't come on.
- 1:21:13Speaker 3: What that's.
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: I want to speak? A nap, That's what I want
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: to speak.
- 1:21:24Speaker 4: A nap, you know, from a man who had stone lessons,
- 1:21:29Speaker 4: you know Stanish on the air.
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: You know, know one one one. But no, no, no, comprehende.
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: You don't want to just understand?
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: Okay, Oh so no you don't. You can't speak I
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: don't understand it. Why would I speak? Okay?
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: Hot hot yeah, m hmm.
- 1:21:54Speaker 8: That's all because he's gonna start cutting after this, because
- 1:21:57Speaker 8: that's all he really cared about.
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: Well, when I said the wrong name on the pageant,
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: I had to shut my social media off because the
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: same phrase kept coming up and I didn't know what
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: it meant. So I took yeah starts with p U
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: n all.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: It's remarks, sir.
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: Listen, Linda, it's my favorite little Mexican kid. I love him. Listen.
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: I you know, I was talking on stage at Family Feud,
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: and you know what, I'm really not looking forward to
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: again this upcoming presidential election. I'm dreading it because it
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: looks like it's going to be a repeat of the
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: last one. I think it's going to be Biden against Trump.
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: It's a sad part about this man is how can
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: we have a repeat of this fiasco. I'm really really
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: disappointed in the Republican Party man that you have not
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: stood up to this man. And you all cannot tell
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: me that you all don't have a better candidate to
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: represent the Republican Party than Donald Trump. I just don't
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: see how you can't find not one person that's more
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: moral than Donald Trump. You can't find one more Republican
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: politician that's not as criminal as Donald Trump. You can't
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: find one Republican politician that does not come with the baggage.
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: You can't find one that ain't paid off a porno star.
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: Don't we just asked me for some sulfer stuff. So
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: when you prop him up in the office and you
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: tell your children, this is our president, this is who
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: we chose to lead our country, are you really gonna
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: be able to tell your children what all he has done?
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: So I'm not looking forward to this election at all.
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: Then they're gonna slam Biden and they're gonna talk about
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: slow Joe, and they talk about how he don't look
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: like he ain't gonna make it, and all this here,
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: and of course you know, Donald Trump gonna come up
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: with another name to give to him, and the Trumpsters
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: are just gonna support Donald Trump no matter what. That
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: makes us live in a sad state. Man. It just
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: really does. It just really does.
- 1:24:20Speaker 12: Man.
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: So, now that I know that this election looks like
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: it's gonna be a repeat, I've decided to trust in
- 1:24:28Speaker 2: my God full steam ahead. I've decided that I'm putting
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: all my faith, all my all, my my, my, my
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: basis behind the fact that God is gonna get me
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: through this next folk, just like he did the prior
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: folk and the Phoe before that. And it's sixty six
- 1:24:52Speaker 2: years prior to that. So when y'all get through debating
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: and ugon and y'all put that man back in the office,
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: and if y'all put Trump back in office, man, the
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: circle will be completed. America will then become recognized as
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: the most corrupt and immoral country in the world. We
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: already have a bad reputation around the world. If you
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: don't travel, it's amazing. But now with all the mass shootings,
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: we can't get these guns under control thanks to the NIA,
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: and NIA has no plans of doing this because they're
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: not gonna slow down gun sales. If we can't get
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: this drug problem under the control because y'all want to
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: bring it, blame that on the Mexican cartel. Well, if
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: we didn't use it, they couldn't make it and sell
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: it to us. We're going about all these problems wrong.
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: But God got to answer for all this. So I'm
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: gonna keep it in the I'm gonna keep my faith
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: in God, man, That's what I'm gonna do. I invite
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: y'all do the same thing. So when it's craziness continues,
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: you have a base faith in God. Y'all have great
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: down to talk to God.
