- 1:47Speaker 6: the morning up.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Look me, Come.
- 1:58Speaker 7: Come on, you'll think that.
- 2:02Speaker 6: I sure will.
- 2:04Speaker 7: Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 8: You're listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now,
- 2:09Speaker 8: one and only Steve Harley got a radio show today.
- 2:14Speaker 7: I want to just share something with you along your way.
- 2:23Speaker 8: To wherever it is you're trying to get to. You know,
- 2:26Speaker 8: everybody has a different definition for success, and I'm not
- 2:31Speaker 8: here to tell you what yours should be. I mean,
- 2:33Speaker 8: please pursue whatever you think success is. Aim as high
- 2:37Speaker 8: as you can, though, that's for sure. My father used
- 2:42Speaker 8: to say all the time. I'm sure you all have
- 2:44Speaker 8: heard it in different variations, but he used to always say,
- 2:48Speaker 8: aim for the moon. Just in case you miss, you'll
- 2:50Speaker 8: still be amongst the stars. Just say that to me
- 2:53Speaker 8: all the time. So that always was in me to
- 2:57Speaker 8: aim high. Now he wasn't saying aim with the intent
- 3:02Speaker 8: to miss. He was just saying, aim in case you miss,
- 3:08Speaker 8: you'll steal me amongst the stars if you aim for
- 3:10Speaker 8: the moon. But if you just aim for that first
- 3:13Speaker 8: flow window and you miss it, you know, usually run
- 3:18Speaker 8: into some type of wall and nothing happens.
- 3:20Speaker 7: You slither down.
- 3:22Speaker 6: You know.
- 3:22Speaker 8: In my book, act like a lady, think like a man.
- 3:25Speaker 8: I told her people that me in love three ways.
- 3:27Speaker 8: They profess, they provide, they protect, and that's the core
- 3:32Speaker 8: essence of a man's love.
- 3:33Speaker 7: Well, there's some other PE's in life too.
- 3:38Speaker 8: The number one thing you have to understand about trying
- 3:42Speaker 8: to be successful, and I guess I'll call this the
- 3:45Speaker 8: four p's.
- 3:46Speaker 7: I may come up with five along the way. I
- 3:48Speaker 7: don't know.
- 3:49Speaker 8: I'm just talking as it's given to me. So I'm
- 3:52Speaker 8: gonna summer start by saying that these are the four
- 3:55Speaker 8: PE's of success that you have to get ready for.
- 4:00Speaker 8: Number one is pressure. A lot of it is applied
- 4:05Speaker 8: by the circumstance of what you're trying to go for
- 4:07Speaker 8: and what you're trying to do, but a lot of
- 4:12Speaker 8: it also is self imposed pressure. It's what you put
- 4:17Speaker 8: on yourself to make it. It's a sense of urgency
- 4:23Speaker 8: it's a sense of necessity. But pressure is the first
- 4:28Speaker 8: thing I want you to be ready for. And pressure
- 4:31Speaker 8: comes in a lot of different forms, but it's going
- 4:34Speaker 8: to be pressured as an old saying that pressure buster pipe. See,
- 4:37Speaker 8: that's why most people turn around because of the pressure
- 4:40Speaker 8: of trying to be successful. I want you to get
- 4:43Speaker 8: it in your mind that it is going to be
- 4:46Speaker 8: a pressure rise situation on your rise to the top. Pressure,
- 4:52Speaker 8: but understand that that is what it is, is not
- 4:55Speaker 8: going to change.
- 4:57Speaker 7: That's it.
- 4:58Speaker 8: Prepare yourself, get rid ddy for there to be pressure.
- 5:04Speaker 8: The second thing I want you to understand is when
- 5:06Speaker 8: you receive this pressure, you have to persist.
- 5:11Speaker 7: You got to stay at it. You got to develop
- 5:14Speaker 7: a dog illness.
- 5:18Speaker 6: Hez A.
- 5:20Speaker 8: There's a song how it says, why must I feel
- 5:25Speaker 8: like that? Why must I chase the cat? Nothing but
- 5:30Speaker 8: the dog in me? That's a funny line in that song,
- 5:35Speaker 8: because really I was thinking about it one day.
- 5:37Speaker 7: I was humming it and and it.
- 5:40Speaker 8: Occurred to me, said, why must I feel like that?
- 5:45Speaker 8: Why must I chase the cat? Nothing but the dog
- 5:48Speaker 8: in me? And you know, now you could take it
- 5:52Speaker 8: in the literal sense that a cat chases the dog
- 5:55Speaker 8: because it's innately, it's in his spirit.
- 5:58Speaker 7: That cats and dogs are a lot of times enemies.
- 6:01Speaker 8: Now people have pets in him proven that if you
- 6:04Speaker 8: show love on both sides, they can exist. And that
- 6:06Speaker 8: happens too but naturally innately, when your cat goes by
- 6:11Speaker 8: a dog and your dog don't recognize him, there's some
- 6:13Speaker 8: barking going on. I'm talking about just walking through the
- 6:16Speaker 8: neighborhood or something. So, but the reason that this dog
- 6:22Speaker 8: is so persistent towards this cat is just cause it's
- 6:26Speaker 8: in him. It's innately in him. And what I'm saying
- 6:32Speaker 8: to you, just using that as an analogy, is that
- 6:36Speaker 8: you got to be you got to be persistent in that.
- 6:42Speaker 7: You got to develop some dog in you now because
- 6:46Speaker 7: pressure takes some fighting back.
- 6:49Speaker 8: See if you don't fight back against pressure, pressure buster pipe,
- 6:52Speaker 8: So what you think it'll do to you? Pressure, crack walls,
- 6:56Speaker 8: pressure calls, explosions. So if you don't fight back to
- 7:00Speaker 8: hold it in, you understand pressure does most people in
- 7:06Speaker 8: this simple thing called pressure, the weight of what it
- 7:10Speaker 8: feels like to want to be successful every single day.
- 7:13Speaker 7: Over and over and over and over and over.
- 7:16Speaker 8: It's just too much pressure. People crack. You got to persist.
- 7:21Speaker 8: You have to persist. You can the thought of giving
- 7:25Speaker 8: up can come, but you got to get it out.
- 7:28Speaker 8: You got to persist. The next thing I want you
- 7:33Speaker 8: to think about is another something that I've been thinking
- 7:37Speaker 8: about for years and learned for years.
- 7:39Speaker 7: It's called perseverance.
- 7:42Speaker 8: To persist means to insist, keyword in incest and persistence
- 7:49Speaker 8: insists you must. You must insist that this is going
- 7:53Speaker 8: to happen. Now, the persist I'm assuming means it's a proaction.
- 7:58Speaker 8: It's some type of proaction that you go towards it
- 8:01Speaker 8: to make it. You know, persist, You gotta be persistent.
- 8:05Speaker 8: You gotta be constantly at it, insisting that it happens.
- 8:08Speaker 8: You gotta be constantly at it. But the next thing
- 8:11Speaker 8: I want you to remember is perseverance. Perseverance is important.
- 8:15Speaker 8: Perseverance means that when you've done your best, when you've persisted,
- 8:22Speaker 8: when you're fighting back against the pressure. Perseverance simply means
- 8:27Speaker 8: I'm going to hang in here. If a crack come
- 8:31Speaker 8: into pipe, I'm gonna hang in there. If the pipe bust,
- 8:36Speaker 8: I'm gonna keep going. If I gotta put duct, take mud,
- 8:41Speaker 8: whatever I got to put on this thing. Man, I'm
- 8:44Speaker 8: gonna use perseverance. I'm going to stay with it no
- 8:49Speaker 8: matter what. So we're looking at the three things again.
- 8:53Speaker 8: You got to understand that it's gonna be pressure that
- 8:56Speaker 8: you're gonna have to persist. Keyword in persistence, in insist.
- 9:00Speaker 8: You have to insist that no matter what the pressure is,
- 9:03Speaker 8: I'm gonna stay with it. But then perseverance. If it
- 9:07Speaker 8: goes wrong, Man, you got to get in there and
- 9:10Speaker 8: keep fighting. But then, Lord have mercy. Nothing helps you
- 9:15Speaker 8: handle the three pece better than the fourth p You
- 9:19Speaker 8: got to pray.
- 9:20Speaker 7: You got to use prayer. You got to talk to God.
- 9:24Speaker 7: You gotta use faith.
- 9:26Speaker 8: You gotta have some conferences with him late at night,
- 9:29Speaker 8: early in the morning, in the middle of the afternoon,
- 9:32Speaker 8: when you're on the train, when you driving. You got
- 9:35Speaker 8: to talk to God. Man, you got to get yourself
- 9:37Speaker 8: some help along the way. Nothing is bigger than prayer.
- 9:41Speaker 8: There is nothing bigger than prayer. Prayer will help you
- 9:44Speaker 8: overcome the pressure. Prayer will help you stay persistent, and
- 9:48Speaker 8: Lord have mercy, prayer will help you persevere them. Mister
- 9:51Speaker 8: faux Peas, God gave that to me.
- 9:56Speaker 9: I'm passing it on you're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 9:59Speaker 9: Morning Ship.

- 11:46Speaker 7: chill out.
- 11:48Speaker 9: You don't want to put that stress level and the
- 11:51Speaker 9: other stuff way more.
- 11:52Speaker 6: Important that you should be focusing on. So yeah, yeah,
- 11:56Speaker 6: don't sweat it. Don't sweat the small stuff.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Life's too sure that that's where other hotheads out.
- 12:02Speaker 6: There, you know, you know Cerly every now and then

- 12:36Speaker 7: Yes, right, we're going with it.
- 12:38Speaker 6: You decided to do this, yes, once you decided to
- 12:42Speaker 6: Once you decided to cross the line, and we was
- 12:45Speaker 6: gonna be a grudge. Then guess what I'm gonna help
- 12:47Speaker 6: you stay on that side of the line. You're gonna
- 12:49Speaker 6: work this grudge all the way through. And what you
- 12:54Speaker 6: said to me, that's how I.

- 15:51Speaker 13: We got a situation here with it.
- 15:54Speaker 4: What's going on?
- 15:55Speaker 13: We're not we're not gonna be allowed to uh to
- 15:57Speaker 13: let him swim here at the pool and complex anymore.
- 16:01Speaker 13: What we gotta your son?
- 16:05Speaker 4: Uh?
- 16:05Speaker 13: I mean he swims in pretty much every every every
- 16:08Speaker 13: other day. You know, I'm always here seeing him swim.
- 16:11Speaker 13: But it seems like is you know, we've been trying
- 16:14Speaker 13: to figure out who it is your your son keep
- 16:16Speaker 13: peeing in the pool pool Sam, I don't want to
- 16:22Speaker 13: get into it with you your son. And we finally
- 16:25Speaker 13: narrowed down your son is the one that's seeing in
- 16:27Speaker 13: the pool every day, and you know it's really a
- 16:29Speaker 13: bad thing. We can't continue to keep letting them come
- 16:32Speaker 13: over here. We got to ban him from the pool.
- 16:34Speaker 5: My son, pool, we ain't nasty like this? Did you
- 16:38Speaker 5: take to be? You gonna say? My son?
- 16:41Speaker 13: And in the pool, well, your son is the one
- 16:43Speaker 13: to be making faces and stuff, and I know that's
- 16:45Speaker 13: what he's doing. He in their pin. Your son is
- 16:48Speaker 13: the one that's peeing in making he be making faces,
- 16:52Speaker 13: So I know he in their pen.
- 16:55Speaker 5: We should be making faces too. Something what you gonna say?
- 17:00Speaker 5: And in the pool, gods he making safe. Man, I'm
- 17:02Speaker 5: not gonna go last. And like said, I teach my

- 17:07Speaker 13: Hey lady, I'm not going. All I'm saying is he
- 17:09Speaker 13: can't come over here and swim anymore. He's banned from
- 17:12Speaker 13: the pool until we rectify this problem. Now you'll paying
- 17:16Speaker 13: when he gonna.
- 17:17Speaker 4: Be in that pool.
- 17:18Speaker 5: And we don't send up pool, we ain't gonna be there.
- 17:21Speaker 5: And I said, mirow, matter of fact, I'm playing our
- 17:23Speaker 5: kids for the pool. We got allow, ma'am.
- 17:26Speaker 13: I'm not fin the city here and go back and

- 17:35Speaker 13: the one, then we will allow him to come back later.
- 17:37Speaker 13: But right now with singling people out and your son,
- 17:41Speaker 13: you know, it just seems like he's the one that's

- 36:01Speaker 2: need to be doing. That's the only way you should
- 36:04Speaker 2: be laughing. Talking medical that I heard them about, no medication.
- 36:09Speaker 2: I heard about I heard about no treatments. What is
- 36:13Speaker 2: so funny in here?
- 36:14Speaker 1: That's what I need. Okay, I'm coming back. I got ache.

- 36:32Speaker 1: So here's the other part of that question.
- 36:33Speaker 11: So isn't that Darius and Nina, those characters, we love
- 36:37Speaker 11: them so much. There is so believable that they are
- 36:42Speaker 11: together that we can't separate, We can't let them go.
- 36:46Speaker 9: It's hard, It's really hard.
- 36:49Speaker 7: It really is hard to let them go.
- 36:53Speaker 13: Like that.
- 36:53Speaker 7: When dit a couple like that from Soul Food, that
- 36:56Speaker 7: that we just put them together Boris.
- 36:59Speaker 9: And a Nicole Iri Park. Yes, yeah, yeah, oh yeah.
- 37:04Speaker 14: I was thinking about the movie.
- 37:06Speaker 1: I was thinking about Bird and Bird.
- 37:11Speaker 9: All right, guys, thank you.
- 37:13Speaker 10: Coming up at twenty minutes after the hour, President Trump
- 37:16Speaker 10: tells ICE to pause on the immigration rates in certain industries.
- 37:19Speaker 9: We'll talk about it right after this.
- 37:22Speaker 10: You're listening Stave Harvey Morning Show. You've heard us talk
- 37:30Speaker 10: about the benefits of Globe Life insurance. Globe Life has
- 37:33Speaker 10: been protecting families for generations. Globe Life is easy to buy,
- 37:37Speaker 10: with rates starting as low as three dollars and forty
- 37:40Speaker 10: nine cents a month. There is no medical exam, just

- 37:58Speaker 10: so we all know that the No Kings protests all
- 38:00Speaker 10: over the country were held this past weekend. The participants
- 38:04Speaker 10: are rejecting dictatorship, putting the military against democracy, and prioritizing billionaires.
- 38:12Speaker 10: In addition, the ICE raids have been painful to watch
- 38:15Speaker 10: and now it seems like President Trump has issued new
- 38:19Speaker 10: rules by telling the ICE agents to pull back on
- 38:22Speaker 10: raiding farms, hotels, and restaurants. These raids are hurting American
- 38:27Speaker 10: farmers and the hotel industry. According to the New York Times,
- 38:31Speaker 10: the Department of Homeland Security will follow the President's direction.
- 38:35Speaker 10: How are you feeling about this whole emotional impact of
- 38:38Speaker 10: these ICE raids?
- 38:39Speaker 9: This is craziness right here now.
- 38:41Speaker 11: See, Yeah, he's gone too far far Now he's heard
- 38:45Speaker 11: from these farmers. You're hurting the farming industry. The hotel
- 38:50Speaker 11: industry is going to be a problem because American continue
- 38:54Speaker 11: to trickle. But no, but if you're raiding the farms
- 38:57Speaker 11: and American people, we're not gonna have food, yea. So
- 39:01Speaker 11: now it's about to be a serious problem. So that
- 39:03Speaker 11: is why he's changing his directive, because yeah, and these.
- 39:07Speaker 10: People are at work. They're not criminals that you're supposed
- 39:11Speaker 10: to be picking up. These people are working, you know,
- 39:13Speaker 10: just crazy.
- 39:14Speaker 9: Yeah, I saw them.
- 39:17Speaker 6: I saw a clip. Well, ICE showed up and and
- 39:20Speaker 6: these guys are on top of a house building a
- 39:22Speaker 6: roof and and they're telling them, these these workers to
- 39:26Speaker 6: come down off the roof and these guys still on
- 39:31Speaker 6: the roof saying, are we not coming down there? Yeah,
- 39:33Speaker 6: y'all come up here, y'all come up here, but we're
- 39:36Speaker 6: not coming down there. And it's just a standoff right there.
- 39:39Speaker 6: Ice is downstairs and the workers are on the roof,
- 39:41Speaker 6: and it's like, why y'all going by everybody's job doing this?
- 39:45Speaker 6: What is it?
- 39:46Speaker 7: Yeah, y'all, y'all taking this to a whole other level.
- 39:49Speaker 6: This is this is going.
- 39:52Speaker 7: This is not going to end well, let.
- 39:53Speaker 9: Me say right, And it's not supposed to have been that.
- 39:56Speaker 10: You're supposed to be picking up the criminals and the
- 39:59Speaker 10: ne're do well and all of that and not honest
- 40:01Speaker 10: working people and all of that.
- 40:03Speaker 9: It's just crazy. Where's the organization?
- 40:06Speaker 11: Yeah, tearing of families to poor children out of school.
- 40:10Speaker 11: These kids are they don't have their parents anymore. They're
- 40:14Speaker 11: going to court. It's heartbreaking. Yeah, it's heartbreaking to it's
- 40:18Speaker 11: bad to watch this. And now you want to change
- 40:21Speaker 11: the directive because you're seeing the damage that it's doing
- 40:26Speaker 11: and it's going to affect the economy. It's going to
- 40:28Speaker 11: affect commerce all over this country. And now you're going
- 40:32Speaker 11: to have to hear from your constituents, sir, who voted
- 40:35Speaker 11: for you. They're going to be affected by them. Yeah, yeah,
- 40:38Speaker 11: they're going to truly be affected by this.
- 40:40Speaker 10: And can I say for the all of arts Yeah,
- 40:43Speaker 10: in recent days anyway, that the ice protests have been peaceful.
- 40:48Speaker 9: You know, they have been peaceful.
- 40:50Speaker 11: So they despite what the mainstream media is telling you
- 40:54Speaker 11: and showing trying to make you believe. Yeah, yeah, people
- 40:57Speaker 11: have the right to protest.
- 40:59Speaker 4: They do.
- 41:00Speaker 9: They have to alienable right.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Yes, constitution. What were you saying, John?

- 47:21Speaker 4: is there? How you doing? Listen? My name is Floyd Floyd.
- 47:24Speaker 4: I want to give you a call. Your your daughter
- 47:26Speaker 4: she attends middle school?
- 47:28Speaker 3: Right?
- 47:28Speaker 7: Okay?
- 47:28Speaker 3: What's your name again?
- 47:29Speaker 4: Floyd Floyd?
- 47:31Speaker 14: Okay?
- 47:31Speaker 3: What can I just write you?
- 47:32Speaker 4: Uh? Well, like I said, your your daughter she goes
- 47:35Speaker 4: she do go to middle school? Right?
- 47:36Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 47:37Speaker 4: Okay? Her name, her name is Derek. Why you need
- 47:40Speaker 4: to know that okay, Well, ain't something wrong or something No, no, no, no,
- 47:45Speaker 4: nothing wrong. I mean I don't mean the alarm. Ye're
- 47:47Speaker 4: nothing like that. But see what you calling me. Well,
- 47:51Speaker 4: here's the situation. My daughter actually goes to middle school
- 47:55Speaker 4: along along with with your daughter.
- 47:57Speaker 3: Okay, And.
- 48:00Speaker 4: It's it's a bit of a problem that that that
- 48:01Speaker 4: has arisen that me and my wife just found out about.
- 48:04Speaker 3: Okay, what they have some issues Derek and you in
- 48:08Speaker 3: some kind of like trouble or something.
- 48:10Speaker 4: No, no, no, nothing like that.
- 48:13Speaker 3: But I made it on the food with nobody at
- 48:15Speaker 3: that school. She don't mess with nobody. She own the
- 48:17Speaker 3: honor row and everything. I don't have no problems out
- 48:20Speaker 3: of Dereka.
- 48:20Speaker 5: Right like none.
- 48:22Speaker 4: Okay, let me no, let me tell you, miss miss Patricia,
- 48:26Speaker 4: what the problem is. See, my daughter name is Dereka. Okay, so,
- 48:32Speaker 4: and and it just blew me and my wife away
- 48:35Speaker 4: that it was another Dereka that went to school.
- 48:38Speaker 3: Okay, all right, I don't know too many derekas that's
- 48:41Speaker 3: the unique name. That's cute, okay, right.
- 48:44Speaker 4: Right, Well, here's the problem. Me and my wife actually,
- 48:47Speaker 4: you know, when it was time to name my child,
- 48:49Speaker 4: we thought we was really picking the name that nobody
- 48:52Speaker 4: uh would ever pick out for their daughter, and to
- 48:55Speaker 4: have another Derek in the school that blew us away.
- 48:58Speaker 4: And I guess the real reason why I'm trying to
- 49:01Speaker 4: call you, miss Patricia C is if if there's something
- 49:04Speaker 4: maybe we can work out, you know, maybe like your
- 49:07Speaker 4: Deraka does middle name or nickname she can be called
- 49:12Speaker 4: by in opposed to both of them being Dereka. You
- 49:16Speaker 4: really don't want to our child to be the only
- 49:18Speaker 4: one with this name.
- 49:19Speaker 3: Okay, wait, wait, wait, wait now you calling me?
- 49:22Speaker 15: Are you asking me to change my baby's name?
- 49:25Speaker 4: Well, I mean you you ain't really got to legally
- 49:27Speaker 4: change I mean, but just start calling us something else,
- 49:29Speaker 4: you know?
- 49:30Speaker 3: No, no, wait a minute, say what you the name
- 49:33Speaker 3: in police or something? Do you know how many ads
- 49:36Speaker 3: and little with this and Patricia's out there?
- 49:38Speaker 15: What if I asked everything in the United States to
- 49:41Speaker 15: change their name from Patricia? You know how crazy that is?
- 49:44Speaker 4: And I understand that you must be on drugs. Now,
- 49:47Speaker 4: what I'm trying to say is, you know this is
- 49:50Speaker 4: something that we really have. Our baby girl was this name,
- 49:52Speaker 4: and we didn't want nobody else to have this. So
- 49:54Speaker 4: does your Derek have a middle name? She can use.
- 49:57Speaker 3: No, we're gonna call her Dereka like we've been called.
- 50:00Speaker 15: Let you name your baby d D. Let's call your
- 50:02Speaker 15: baby d D. It is you change y'all, y'all change
- 50:04Speaker 15: y'all baby name at the school.
- 50:06Speaker 4: I'm not calling. I'm not calling.
- 50:07Speaker 15: I don't give what you call it, but I'm not
- 50:10Speaker 15: changing my baby name.
- 50:11Speaker 4: Hey, listen, Okay, look, I'm trying to call you and
- 50:14Speaker 4: handle this like adults, you know, but you're seeing to sit.
- 50:17Speaker 4: You're gonna push my button to take me to another level.
- 50:20Speaker 15: You ain't calling me trying to handle you. Just ask
- 50:22Speaker 15: me to change my baby name, call my baby something
- 50:25Speaker 15: else at the school because y'all want y'all baby name
- 50:27Speaker 15: to be Derek and the only Derek in the school.
- 50:29Speaker 15: Can you know how many other kids at the school got.
- 50:32Speaker 4: The same name. I understand that, but from my baby girl,
- 50:35Speaker 4: it ain't supposed to be like that. Huh. I'm throwing.
- 50:38Speaker 15: I'm throwing for that baby girl and your wife, but
- 50:41Speaker 15: you know, I'm not changing my baby name. Y'all call
- 50:45Speaker 15: y'all babyd.
- 50:46Speaker 4: Know. What I'm trying to do is get it rectified
- 50:48Speaker 4: that we can call you.
- 50:50Speaker 3: Get my phone number.
- 50:51Speaker 4: I know that school.
- 50:52Speaker 15: Ain't give you my number.
- 50:54Speaker 4: I got your number. Don't worry about how I got it.
- 50:56Speaker 4: The problem is, but what we're talking about right now
- 50:58Speaker 4: is can we what can we start calling your child?
- 51:01Speaker 4: Don't give it.
- 51:02Speaker 15: I know that's school. Ain't cars number.
- 51:05Speaker 4: Listen, ma'am. All I'm trying to do is figure out
- 51:08Speaker 4: what can we start calling your daughter Ja.
- 51:11Speaker 15: No, she's been doing. Call you and your right got
- 51:13Speaker 15: need to go down to the statistics office and good
- 51:16Speaker 15: child of the name a conduct something the kind of
- 51:19Speaker 15: names for her, but my daugh to God teach the
- 51:22Speaker 15: same name.
- 51:23Speaker 4: Let me explain something to you. I've been trying to
- 51:25Speaker 4: be calm with you in the househol but if you're
- 51:27Speaker 4: gonna find something else to call on me, I'm gonna go.
- 51:30Speaker 4: I'm gonna get all the other heads number.
- 51:32Speaker 15: How do you get my numbers?
- 51:33Speaker 4: Don't worry about all I got the number. Listen to
- 51:36Speaker 4: what I'm trying to tell you. If you don't find
- 51:38Speaker 4: another name, I'm gonna start getting the kids to call
- 51:40Speaker 4: your daughter something else.
- 51:42Speaker 15: You'll listen to call my daddy siding. I'm trying to
- 51:44Speaker 15: something with it. Everybody who called my day SIPs.
- 51:48Speaker 4: You're trying to change your baby names. I want my
- 51:50Speaker 4: baby the name to be the Derika Joe Joe. Come
- 51:54Speaker 4: up here extremely now. My princes is supposed to be
- 51:58Speaker 4: the only one name. Dereka had the car and call.

- 52:03Speaker 4: I'm going out these kids starting tomorrow at school calling
- 52:07Speaker 4: your daughter. I'm not staying on the side with you

- 56:48Speaker 10: All right, nephew, thank you? Subject? Does he have a
- 56:51Speaker 10: screw loose? Dear Stephen Shirley. My boyfriend and I have
- 56:54Speaker 10: been together two years. When they say opposites a tract,
- 56:57Speaker 10: they're talking about us, I am a barge and I'm
- 57:00Speaker 10: very outgoing and full of life. My boyfriend and I
- 57:03Speaker 10: met at my job. He was having drinks with his coworkers,
- 57:07Speaker 10: but he wasn't chatting it up with him. He sat
- 57:09Speaker 10: at the bar and looked at his phone the entire time.
- 57:12Speaker 10: I made him talk to me, and he perked up
- 57:14Speaker 10: and took a couple of shots with me. We started
- 57:17Speaker 10: texting each other and I asked him out on a date.
- 57:20Speaker 10: We've been together since our first date, but he doesn't
- 57:23Speaker 10: speak unless spoken to. I was okay with that, but
- 57:27Speaker 10: it's weird at times. My parents used to think he's
- 57:30Speaker 10: nice and respectful until recently.
- 57:34Speaker 9: Here's what happened.
- 57:35Speaker 10: My man earned my trust and I started telling him
- 57:39Speaker 10: about my childhood and how my dad ch did on
- 57:41Speaker 10: my mom and she hit him with her car and
- 57:44Speaker 10: he was in the hospital for months. I told him
- 57:46Speaker 10: that scarred me for life and I have trust issues now.
- 57:49Speaker 10: He said he understood me, and he opened up about
- 57:52Speaker 10: getting bullied as a child, and that's why he doesn't
- 57:54Speaker 10: talk much now. I had no idea until recently how
- 57:58Speaker 10: socially awkward he he is. We were at my parents'
- 58:02Speaker 10: house over the weekend, and when my dad asked him
- 58:04Speaker 10: if he was thinking about marriage, he told my dad
- 58:07Speaker 10: that he was scared of marriage because he heard about
- 58:09Speaker 10: what happened to him, and he burst out laughing. We
- 58:14Speaker 10: all got tense, and my boyfriend didn't realize how rude
- 58:18Speaker 10: that was. No one in our family talks about that
- 58:21Speaker 10: rough patch that my parents went through. So my dad
- 58:24Speaker 10: hates my boyfriend now and my mom thinks he's nuts.
- 58:29Speaker 10: They won't accept his apology. Can we get past this
- 58:32Speaker 10: or do I dump him? No, you don't have to
- 58:37Speaker 10: dump him. But where are you guys right now? You
- 58:40Speaker 10: never said if you love him or if the relationship
- 58:42Speaker 10: is worth saving to you. That's what determines whether or
- 58:45Speaker 10: not you can get past stuff. Yes, mister socially awkward
- 58:50Speaker 10: was wrong for making a joke about your very serious
- 58:53Speaker 10: family matter. Common sence should have told him before he spoke,
- 58:58Speaker 10: not now, because what your dad asked was legit. Are
- 59:02Speaker 10: you thinking about marriage? In other words, you've been with
- 59:06Speaker 10: my daughter two years?
- 59:07Speaker 9: Where is this going? Did you know?
- 59:10Speaker 10: Did you know your man felt this way about marriage?
- 59:13Speaker 10: Because this is who he is?
- 59:14Speaker 9: Okay, this is who he is now.
- 59:16Speaker 10: I think you and him need to have a conversation
- 59:18Speaker 10: first and talk about marriage and what that looks like
- 59:20Speaker 10: for you too. You don't need to waste any more
- 59:23Speaker 10: time with him if he's dead set against it, if
- 59:25Speaker 10: he's scared of it, if he does want to marry you,
- 59:28Speaker 10: I strongly suggest counseling first. Okay, then your man needs
- 59:32Speaker 10: to try and apologize again to your parents and hopefully
- 59:35Speaker 10: they'll accept it this time.
- 59:37Speaker 9: All right, Tommy, what you got?
- 59:40Speaker 6: What's hurly?
- 59:41Speaker 7: The man kind of got a point now.
- 59:44Speaker 6: The man had found out man that the possible father
- 59:49Speaker 6: in law future possible father in law has been ran
- 59:52Speaker 6: over by a car. So the man got to be
- 59:54Speaker 6: trying to figure out I gonna get ran over? Is
- 59:57Speaker 6: my girlfriend gonna get in the car and get mad
- 59:59Speaker 6: and me run over me? I mean, so surely he's
- 1:00:02Speaker 6: got something to think about about that. But but but
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: is that the consequence if you do, you're gonna get
- 1:00:08Speaker 6: ran over and possibly? Okay, see right there, that's what
- 1:00:12Speaker 6: I'm talking about. So now he got some things to
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: work on. The man got to figure out if he
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: gonna get ran over. And I understand that. Okay, I
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: understand that. Now he's scared of calls now at this point,
- 1:00:22Speaker 6: the boss, he's scared of cars and bullies at this point.
- 1:00:25Speaker 6: All right, So there's a lot he got to deal with.
- 1:00:27Speaker 6: So here's the deal. I really don't think. First of all,
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: it's you know, all these all these letters start out
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: with we've been together two years, ain't nobody married? So
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: that's and I always start out, you didn't already put
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: the cart before the horse. So now y'all in the
- 1:00:42Speaker 6: in this situation, okay, opposite to track the lady. It
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: seems like the lady to me is the one that's
- 1:00:47Speaker 6: been the forcer. You, the one that cracked up to
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: crack the conversation at the bar. You the one got
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: you the one, the reason why they're still going out
- 1:00:54Speaker 6: and hanging together. He really quiet, He don't say that much.
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: She's the one that really has made things happen, right,
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: be the one.
- 1:01:01Speaker 7: He's the key, He's the one, he's the driving force.
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: Really, if he could have sat at that bar and
- 1:01:07Speaker 6: I said nothing, they wouldn't be together today. So she's
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: the one that created all this stay together. They all
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: night them now And now you realize you got somebody
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: that's kind of halfway?
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: Is he?
- 1:01:17Speaker 6: They all the way missing some screws. Now you're starting
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: to figuring this out. Why is it, ladies, that we
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: wait till we get to move somebody in our house
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: to figure out Dad's crazy?
- 1:01:27Speaker 13: Why?
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: Good question?
- 1:01:29Speaker 9: Good question?
- 1:01:29Speaker 5: Why is it?
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: You know what the problem is? You're not ready to
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: love him. You're not and he ain't ready to love you.
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: I don't see it. I don't see the love. I
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: don't see anything. All I see is there was an
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: opportunity for both of you all, and y'all jumped at it.
- 1:01:46Speaker 6: But that don't really mean y'all supposed to be the right.
- 1:01:49Speaker 9: You're absolutely right. Has been talked about.
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: At all or discussed, and that's probably what you have
- 1:01:55Speaker 6: came up when the daddy asked of question, are y'all
- 1:01:56Speaker 6: gonna get married him?
- 1:01:57Speaker 7: We don't even love each other, we're just doing something.
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: This seemed like a couple. This seemed like a couple.
- 1:02:03Speaker 7: That's just doing something. And that's what happens.
- 1:02:05Speaker 6: Early is two years you look up and it'll be
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: four or five y'all again, Yeah you know it just
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: it just happened.
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: It don't just happen four five year.
- 1:02:15Speaker 9: Yeah, you're right.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: I agree with you.
- 1:02:17Speaker 9: You're absolutely right. No mention of love. All right, Junior.
- 1:02:22Speaker 9: We had a couple of a couple of seconds before
- 1:02:25Speaker 9: we go to break.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: Let me just tell y'all, I'm so excited. I know
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: these people. I know these people. I have been in
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: these situations. I've seen this up head. I've talked about
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: even the person that ran over somebody. I My grandmother
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: did that to her second husband. I could tell y'all
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: I know these people. Ooh too tall got ran over.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: I swear to god, this boy fit right in. I've
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: seen this.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: I've seen all of this. I will tell y'all about.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: Cl oh cl if he ain't cl c l, the
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: boy that.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Don't talk this sitting on the call of y'all.
- 1:03:04Speaker 10: All, all right, hang on today's strawberry level. Subjects is
- 1:03:10Speaker 10: does he have a screw loose? And we'll get into
- 1:03:12Speaker 10: it about twenty three minutes after the hour. Right after this,
- 1:03:15Speaker 10: you're listening stream Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:03:23Speaker 7: Do you think astronauts fight over elbow room?
- 1:03:26Speaker 8: Probably because advanced tech doesn't always mean more space until
- 1:03:30Speaker 8: now introduce it the Hondai Ionic nine, a three row
- 1:03:34Speaker 8: electric suv with over three hundred miles of range, ultra
- 1:03:38Speaker 8: fast charging capability, and lots of space.
- 1:03:41Speaker 6: The all new Hondai Ionic nine face in an EV.
- 1:03:45Speaker 6: Visit Hondai USA dot com for more details. EPA estimated
- 1:03:48Speaker 6: rings for Ononing nine based on fully charged batteries for
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: comparison purpose only. Actual range will vary based on several factors.
- 1:03:54Speaker 10: All right, guys, it's time to recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:57Speaker 10: The subject is does he have a screw low? A
- 1:04:00Speaker 10: woman wrote in she's been with her boyfriend for two years.
- 1:04:04Speaker 10: Their opposite. He doesn't talk much. She's full of life.
- 1:04:08Speaker 10: She likes to talk. She's a bartender. They met at
- 1:04:11Speaker 10: her job. He was having drinks with his coworkers, but
- 1:04:14Speaker 10: wasn't drinking, just on his phone the entire time. They
- 1:04:17Speaker 10: ended up taking shots together she and the guy did,
- 1:04:20Speaker 10: and she ended up asking him out for a date.
- 1:04:24Speaker 9: Two years later, they're still together.
- 1:04:28Speaker 10: Finally she felt like she could trust him enough where
- 1:04:31Speaker 10: she could open up to him a little bit, and
- 1:04:33Speaker 10: she told him about this story.
- 1:04:36Speaker 9: Well it did. What really happened in their family is
- 1:04:38Speaker 9: that her.
- 1:04:39Speaker 10: Dad cheated on her mom, and her mom hit him
- 1:04:42Speaker 10: with this hit her dad with the car with her car,
- 1:04:45Speaker 10: and her dad ended up in the hospital for months.
- 1:04:48Speaker 10: So she told that to the boyfriend that she's been
- 1:04:51Speaker 10: with for two years, and then you know, he opened
- 1:04:54Speaker 10: up to her about some things, why he doesn't talk
- 1:04:57Speaker 10: because he was bullied so much in school and blah
- 1:04:59Speaker 10: blah blah. So they went over to the parents' house
- 1:05:02Speaker 10: for dinner and the dad asked what any normal dad
- 1:05:08Speaker 10: would ask, are you and my daughter? You know you're
- 1:05:11Speaker 10: thinking about marriage? And he said, no, after I heard
- 1:05:14Speaker 10: about what happened to you, meaning the wife, You cheated
- 1:05:17Speaker 10: on your wife, and your wife ran you over with
- 1:05:19Speaker 10: her car and you ended up in the hospital for months.
- 1:05:22Speaker 10: Then on top of that, he burst it out laughing
- 1:05:24Speaker 10: in front of the dad. So you know, after that,
- 1:05:27Speaker 10: thing's got tense. Yeah, things got real tense. And she
- 1:05:31Speaker 10: said the boyfriend didn't realize how rude that was. Nobody
- 1:05:36Speaker 10: talks about that part of the family and their marriage
- 1:05:39Speaker 10: and any of that. So now the dad hates the boyfriend.
- 1:05:43Speaker 10: The mom thinks he's crazy, so they won't accept his apology,
- 1:05:48Speaker 10: and she wants to know can she get past this?
- 1:05:50Speaker 9: Can she dump him? Junior? You said you've seen this before.
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: You know, I know all these people. Yes, c yeah,
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: she last, that's who that is. Ce Leza got jumped
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: when he was a kid. He don't talk much. He
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: didn't say much at all. He the one when you
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: go to a group functions, he's sitting in the corner
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: in the chair. You got to ask him a question,
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: but he mumbles a lot every time you ask something.
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: See how you hot?
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: I'm good? I tell how you all? How you living?
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: That's all he's gonna say.
- 1:06:24Speaker 14: You You gotta ask him, See how you.
- 1:06:26Speaker 13: Ready to go?
- 1:06:26Speaker 7: I still.
- 1:06:28Speaker 9: Because is a boyfriend.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's the boyfriend. Hit rubble. He scared to
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: talk because he got jumped. He bulleted.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: I know he fit that it was his family because
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: the mama didn't already rent on the husband.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: You know who did that? In my family?
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: My grandmother, my mama, Mama, oh mother ran over too tall.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: I couldn't believe it either.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: I was hit in the car. I'm seven, in the
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: back seat, seen it.
- 1:06:49Speaker 14: I'm in the bay.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: I had lost a cookie because we had went over
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: too tall.
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: And next thing, you know, too tall in the hospital
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: with two broken legs and two broken off.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: The police came to the room. I'm in there as
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: a witness. I saw it. They asked, too tall, Will
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: you know who did this to you? You know what
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: he said? Black love? I said, I know that.
- 1:07:12Speaker 14: She's sitting right.
- 1:07:13Speaker 9: Here's my grandma.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: This is this is why I said, I know these people.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: This it happened. So you the mother talking about you,

- 1:10:53Speaker 9: That it's time now for Junior and sports talk, which
- 1:10:56Speaker 9: you got Junior.
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: Well, shurely, my team won again. I know that much
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: last night Game five of the NBA Finals. I can't
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: help because my team is winning. Okay, the Oklahoma City
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: Thunder beat the Indiana Pacers one twenty to one on nine.
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: But man, let's give a shout out to Jalen Williams.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: He dropped forty and then SGA hit.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: Thirty one and look at man.
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: I don't know if any other notice, but they the
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: best player are gonna have to score points. Because Tyrese
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: Halliburton only had four. I know me and tom you
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: can go out there and get four points. I promise
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: you we can. We can mess around here. Two baskets.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: That's that's really really well, well, it was at least
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: one piece. Get one a piece. That's four points.
- 1:11:39Speaker 14: You can give four points in the NBA finals.
- 1:11:43Speaker 9: They on their shoulders, n stand on Tommy.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: Back of the ball. However, we have to get it.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: Surely we can get it. We can get if he
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: had to stand on my shoulders.
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: Just put the ball in the basket more than we
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: can put it in there twice a I mean wants
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: a piece.
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: That's twice.
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: But if you just got four points, your team is
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: not gonna win. If you're the leading scorer. You can't
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: play like that in Game five?
- 1:12:09Speaker 6: Is he hurt to me?
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: I don't know if he hurt. His feelings is hurt
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: this morning?
- 1:12:13Speaker 6: I know that much.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: That's about all I know is hurt because they're going hurt.
- 1:12:17Speaker 6: Should you soon you get out the game? Aren't you
- 1:12:19Speaker 6: hurting the team if you hurt?
- 1:12:20Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:12:21Speaker 9: If you play like that.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: Man, you're not hitting anybody.
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: Just gonna sit down, just sit down, just don't even
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: get in the game, just missing everything.
- 1:12:31Speaker 6: So it's all it can be, y'all. We got a
- 1:12:34Speaker 6: right to talk to Mac. We can do that, Okay,
- 1:12:36Speaker 6: we can.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: I just want to know that you can get. I'm
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: back on the four points that y'all can get. What
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: is the defense?
- 1:12:43Speaker 10: To be honest with you, But I agree with you though, Tommy,
- 1:12:48Speaker 10: you do have a right to talk to Mac. You do,
- 1:12:50Speaker 10: because that's all it is. It's not reality.
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: They're not really taking me and Tommy serious. They know
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: they didn't know they to block everything there. But it
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: felt good to feel like we can get two two baskets.
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: We felt good about it. We felt really good about
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: getting two baskets. So game Game six will be on
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: June teenth, and that's gonna be a freedom day for somebody.
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: It could be the freedom day for Indiana, could be like,
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: we have to see what happens.
- 1:13:22Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: They're gonna be playing back home, so the Pacers will
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: have home court advantage. They'll be back home, and then
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: if it goes to game seven, well we know that
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: probably on Sunday, and uh, we'll see what happens.
- 1:13:33Speaker 6: But then after Sunday, After Sundays, we just.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: Move on pickleball or home, move on to other. Yeah,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: we're gonna move on to something.
- 1:13:46Speaker 14: Thenment not the pickleball fight.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: Less know what I want us to talk about. We'll
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: talk about it for you, all.
- 1:13:53Speaker 9: Right, Junior, thank you.
- 1:13:55Speaker 10: Coming up at the top of the Coming up at
- 1:13:57Speaker 10: the top of the hour, a man's social media needs
- 1:14:00Speaker 10: some advice, he says, I'm going to do my own
- 1:14:03Speaker 10: thing on vacation. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:14:06Speaker 10: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:14:12Speaker 10: This is from PJ on Steve Harvey FM. PJA writes,
- 1:14:15Speaker 10: for the first time, we've decided to put together a
- 1:14:18Speaker 10: vacation for the entire family. Not only are my wife
- 1:14:22Speaker 10: and kids going, but our parents, siblings and their families
- 1:14:25Speaker 10: are all going. It sounded like a great idea at first,
- 1:14:28Speaker 10: but I soon learned that I was the only one
- 1:14:31Speaker 10: that wanted to do excursions like scuba diving, horseback riding,
- 1:14:34Speaker 10: and parasailing. Everyone else just wants to sit on the
- 1:14:37Speaker 10: beach and drink. So now I'm debating how much of
- 1:14:40Speaker 10: a quote family guy I'm willing to be what's a
- 1:14:44Speaker 10: reasonable time?
- 1:14:45Speaker 9: This is what PJ wants to know.
- 1:14:47Speaker 10: What's a reasonable amount of time during the vacation week
- 1:14:50Speaker 10: to break off and do my thing without my family
- 1:14:53Speaker 10: getting upset. It's his vacation too, right, he's saying, So
- 1:14:57Speaker 10: what do you think how long? Well, hell, one ago,
- 1:15:00Speaker 10: they're going for about a week vacation week.
- 1:15:04Speaker 7: At least have three excursions. You can go do it
- 1:15:06Speaker 7: with your kids, your family, at least three.
- 1:15:09Speaker 6: When you're on branch out, you know, at noon, we're
- 1:15:11Speaker 6: gonna we're gonna, we're gonna go do this, We're gonna
- 1:15:13Speaker 6: go do that.
- 1:15:14Speaker 7: We'll be back in a few hours. I don't think
- 1:15:15Speaker 7: that's that.
- 1:15:16Speaker 6: Ain't too bad, understand that.
- 1:15:19Speaker 10: Yeah, he wants to do scuba jot scuba diving, pair
- 1:15:22Speaker 10: of sailing, and horseback riding.
- 1:15:24Speaker 14: Because ain't his mama and cousins and ain't nobody doing
- 1:15:27Speaker 14: all that?
- 1:15:28Speaker 10: No mama with First of all, when they got braids
- 1:15:33Speaker 10: for the trip, I'm sure everybody well I certainly couldn't
- 1:15:42Speaker 10: get them, but.
- 1:15:44Speaker 12: You couldn't get them, Yeah, you can get Carlo. So yeah,
- 1:15:48Speaker 12: what's a reasonable amount of time?
- 1:15:50Speaker 9: What you think, Junior?
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: A few days? You know, because you paid for the vacation,
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: you can take your kids and go do excursion with them.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: I don't recommend scuba diving.
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: That's not something I do, or parasailing, just horseback right,
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: that's it's not the safest thing.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: I see.
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: Why not unless we do a Scooba diving in that
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: training and we training in that pool. That's about all
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: the school diviingo not going out to the water. We're
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: gonna do it right here in his little practice session time.
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: You see the practice session, that's the what we're doing.
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: As soon as that's over, I was good. I'm a
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: scuba diver.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: Now I'm a scooba diver. I'm not going out to
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: the ocean with this poo.
- 1:16:30Speaker 8: I can't do that.
- 1:16:31Speaker 7: I can't do that.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: Pair SEP.
- 1:16:32Speaker 9: We do have time for another one. This is from
- 1:16:34Speaker 9: Cynthia and Steve Harvey FM.
- 1:16:36Speaker 10: Cynthia says, my fiance is a terrible cook, but he's
- 1:16:40Speaker 10: so passionate about it, and I love him for that,
- 1:16:43Speaker 10: among many other reasons. I was thinking about getting him
- 1:16:47Speaker 10: private cooking lessons as a surprise, something fun and useful
- 1:16:51Speaker 10: we could both benefit from. But when I mentioned it
- 1:16:54Speaker 10: to a friend, she pointed out that it might come
- 1:16:56Speaker 10: off like I'm criticizing him now, I'm second guessing myself.
- 1:17:00Speaker 10: Is there a way I can frame this gift that
- 1:17:02Speaker 10: won't make him feel badly about his cooking skills?
- 1:17:06Speaker 9: Or is this one of those things that's better left alone?
- 1:17:09Speaker 8: Better?
- 1:17:09Speaker 6: You know, this depends on what kind of cooking class
- 1:17:12Speaker 6: you've got for him. You got one with a you know,
- 1:17:15Speaker 6: an extravagant, well known chef, somebody that's gonna teach you so,
- 1:17:19Speaker 6: or is he gonna be in there learning how.
- 1:17:20Speaker 7: To break eggs and see what did you what did
- 1:17:22Speaker 7: you finna be doing?
- 1:17:23Speaker 6: If he in there cracking eggs, and if he just
- 1:17:27Speaker 6: in there cracking eggs, calling just trying to make sure
- 1:17:29Speaker 6: he can get the yolk and the stuff in the cup,
- 1:17:31Speaker 6: then yes, she really letting him know he can't cook.
- 1:17:34Speaker 6: If you with the bad with the awesome chef, all
- 1:17:37Speaker 6: that coop. If he in there cutting onions and stuff,
- 1:17:39Speaker 6: that's it. It's nice enough. Vegetables, Yeah, yeah, she trying
- 1:17:44Speaker 6: to get his skills up. If he in there cutting vegetables.
- 1:17:47Speaker 9: Yes, yes, he's a terrible cook. Terrible, he terrible.
- 1:17:50Speaker 6: Uh you fry you frying chicken? On how he cooking
- 1:17:55Speaker 6: the outside. The inside ain't cooked if you cook, that's
- 1:17:58Speaker 6: that's his problem. Yeah, he's a bad cook's terrible.
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: He's terrible.
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's that's how she should just start should
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: I don't believe in this. I don't believe I'm gonna
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: keep eating this food. And we engage you, my fiance,
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: and you can't cook. I'm gonna tell you terrible, You're
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: terrible because we need some lessons.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: I'm trying to eat this. Why do I eat chicken?
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: And I know how old the chicken is? Because you
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: ain't seasoned this chicken at all.
- 1:18:23Speaker 9: It's just gaming.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: It's just just what why is it you need? You
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: need to learn some seasons? That's it. You're terrible as
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: a cook. You don't need to know. It's just don't
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: come out. Let's say that you're terriorful.
- 1:18:33Speaker 9: That's gonna hurt food.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: Yeah, saying you as a person, but your cooking is terrible.
- 1:18:40Speaker 9: It's how do you separate the.
- 1:18:44Speaker 7: Two to rice? Some rice?
- 1:18:49Speaker 6: Let's see if you get that right.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:18:52Speaker 10: Coming up more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 1:18:54Speaker 10: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:19:02Speaker 10: So sometimes even the wildlife needs to unwind.
- 1:19:05Speaker 9: Okay.
- 1:19:05Speaker 10: A Florida resident was shocked when a black bear took
- 1:19:08Speaker 10: a dip in their backyard hot tub.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: I saw this.
- 1:19:12Speaker 10: Once he was sufficiently soaked and his muscles were loose,
- 1:19:16Speaker 10: he climbed out of the tub and walked over to
- 1:19:18Speaker 10: a patio sofa, where he just you know, flied down
- 1:19:21Speaker 10: and took a nap for about six hours. The homeowner
- 1:19:24Speaker 10: called fish and wildlife and officers arrived to wake the
- 1:19:27Speaker 10: bear up and coax to leave the property. But the
- 1:19:30Speaker 10: bear wasn't ready to end his vacation just yet. He
- 1:19:34Speaker 10: decided to instead to climb up a tree, where it
- 1:19:38Speaker 10: remained until the next day. The bear stayed up in
- 1:19:40Speaker 10: the tree till the following day. Wildlife officials eventually lured
- 1:19:45Speaker 10: the bear out of the tree using doughnuts. Doughnuts always work,
- 1:19:49Speaker 10: don't they on humans too. Once the bear munched down
- 1:19:53Speaker 10: the sweet treats, officers captured him and relocated him to
- 1:19:57Speaker 10: a nearby state park.
- 1:19:58Speaker 9: So he got those doughnuts and on down.
- 1:20:01Speaker 6: The bed. Was on vacation, That's all it was. He
- 1:20:03Speaker 6: was on vacation, liver relaxing in the sun. Call it
- 1:20:07Speaker 6: just a little relax and take a dip in the pool.
- 1:20:09Speaker 6: Just relax, and then here comes somebody gonna mess that up.
- 1:20:12Speaker 6: The bad was on vacation and everybody's entitled to get
- 1:20:15Speaker 6: a few days off.
- 1:20:16Speaker 11: You had a vacation house and you walk outside on
- 1:20:19Speaker 11: the backyard, you see a bear.
- 1:20:22Speaker 9: This is how bear for him?
- 1:20:25Speaker 7: That's it. That's ever doing to argue with. I'm not
- 1:20:28Speaker 7: arguing with a black bear.
- 1:20:30Speaker 6: That's the right.
- 1:20:30Speaker 7: I know what black bear gonna have an attitude. I'm
- 1:20:32Speaker 7: not arguing with a black bet.
- 1:20:36Speaker 6: I would I would get my black bags and get
- 1:20:38Speaker 6: in my black car and get my black budd right.
- 1:20:40Speaker 10: On Uput would you rather coming up next? Right after this,
- 1:20:44Speaker 10: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:21:35Speaker 6: Yeah?
